- 3:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, hallelujah.
- 3:58SPEAKER_02: You sitting in there getting interviewed for the job.
- 4:01SPEAKER_02: First thing you want to know is about when they hire you, says, when is payday?
- 4:06SPEAKER_02: Is it every week?
- 4:07SPEAKER_02: Is it every two weeks?
- 4:08SPEAKER_02: What benefits do I have?
- 4:13SPEAKER_02: You can work Monday and not get paid Monday.
- 4:17SPEAKER_02: You can work Tuesday and not get paid for Tuesday.
- 4:20SPEAKER_02: You can work Wednesday and still not see a check.
- 4:23SPEAKER_02: But you keep showing up because you know.
- 4:26SPEAKER_02: What do you know?
- 4:28SPEAKER_02: You know, payday is coming.
- 4:32SPEAKER_02: Used to sing a song.
- 4:36SPEAKER_02: Payday is coming after wow.
- 4:38SPEAKER_02: You remember that song?
- 4:40SPEAKER_02: Put your time in, payday is coming after wow.
- 4:45SPEAKER_02: A farmer knows this.
- 4:48SPEAKER_02: He puts his seed into the ground, he waters it, he tends the soil, he pulls the weeds, he waits.
- 4:59SPEAKER_02: For a while he sees nothing.
- 5:02SPEAKER_02: But he doesn't walk away from the field because he understands that harvest doesn't come the same day you plant.
- 5:14SPEAKER_02: And sometimes serving God feels like that.
- 5:20SPEAKER_02: You've been praying, but haven't seen the answer.
- 5:26SPEAKER_02: You've been serving, but nobody seems to notice.
- 5:31SPEAKER_02: You've been given, but haven't seen the return.
- 5:36SPEAKER_02: You've been faithful, but you're still going through.
- 5:41SPEAKER_02: You've been standing, but the battle isn't over.
- 5:45SPEAKER_02: You know what the enemy does?
- 5:48SPEAKER_02: He loves to do this.
- 5:50SPEAKER_02: He loves to whisper in your ear.
- 5:53SPEAKER_02: And he does it all the time with me and still doing it.
- 5:56SPEAKER_02: What's the use?
- 5:58SPEAKER_02: What's the use?
- 6:01SPEAKER_02: I'm serving, don't see, no results.
- 6:04SPEAKER_02: What's the use?
- 6:05SPEAKER_02: Excuse me.
- 6:08SPEAKER_02: But Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15, 58, your labor is not in vain.
- 6:15SPEAKER_02: In other words, God saw it.
- 6:21SPEAKER_02: God saw every prayer, he saw every sacrifice, he saw every tear, he saw every time you wanted to quit, but kept going.
- 6:35SPEAKER_02: He saw every time you've been hurt, but still served.
- 6:40SPEAKER_02: He saw every time you was tired but still showed up.
- 6:46SPEAKER_02: God saw every time you could have walked away, but you stayed.
- 6:56SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 6:58SPEAKER_02: That's God.
- 7:02SPEAKER_02: Don't quit before payday.
- 7:09SPEAKER_02: There's a reward for staying faithful.
- 7:13SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 7:15SPEAKER_02: Let's just look at some of the people that stayed faithful.
- 7:18SPEAKER_02: We've talked about some of them earlier in this month.
- 7:21SPEAKER_02: And talk about Noah again.
- 7:25SPEAKER_02: In Genesis 6 and 22.
- 7:28SPEAKER_02: Thus did Noah according to all that God commanded him, so did he.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: And God told Noah to build an ark.
- 7:36SPEAKER_02: Imagine the assignment, build a massive vessel, because judgment was coming.
- 7:44SPEAKER_02: Noah had to keep working while waiting for what God said.
- 7:52SPEAKER_02: Every day he cut wood.
- 7:56SPEAKER_02: Every day he carried wood.
- 7:59SPEAKER_02: He built, he kept building, he kept believing, he kept obeying.
- 8:05SPEAKER_02: And you know what Hebrews 11 and 7 says?
- 8:10SPEAKER_02: By faith, Noah, being warned of God, the things not seen as yet, move with fear, the padding ark.
- 8:22SPEAKER_02: Noah's steadfast obedience evidently save his house.
- 8:28SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 8:31SPEAKER_02: The reward.
- 8:33SPEAKER_02: Genesis 7 and 1.
- 8:35SPEAKER_02: Come thou and all thy house into the and to the ark.
- 8:42SPEAKER_02: His obedience didn't only affect Noah, his family benefited from his faithfulness.
- 8:51SPEAKER_02: Same as our families today.
- 8:54SPEAKER_02: They might have drifted away, have done some things, but they are covered under the blood because of you.
- 9:03SPEAKER_02: That daddy, that father, prodigal son, left, but the father still had the prayers gone up for his son.
- 9:17SPEAKER_02: He was covering his son.
- 9:20SPEAKER_02: His faithfulness to God.
- 9:22SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 9:25SPEAKER_02: Never underestimate what your steadfastness may mean to your mean to your family.
- 9:32SPEAKER_02: Your children are watching, your grandchildren are watching.
- 9:36SPEAKER_02: Somebody's coming behind you may benefit because three words.
- 9:45SPEAKER_02: You didn't quit.
- 9:48SPEAKER_02: Well, Pastor Tucker, Bishop, have you ever felt like quitting?
- 9:54SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Oh, hallelujah.
- 9:59SPEAKER_02: I've been on the brink of wanting to quit.
- 10:03SPEAKER_02: But you know what?
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: God has a way of whispering in your ear.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: He got a way of encouraging you.
- 10:11SPEAKER_02: He got a way of patting you on the back.
- 10:13SPEAKER_02: He got a way of uh speaking to you in that quietness of the hour.
- 10:21SPEAKER_02: Keep on going.
- 10:23SPEAKER_02: Don't quit.
- 10:25SPEAKER_02: The flesh should quit.
- 10:27SPEAKER_02: The things that you're facing make you want to quit.
- 10:35SPEAKER_02: But I heard somebody preaching and said, don't look at the problem.
- 10:38SPEAKER_02: Look at the problem solver.
- 10:41SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 10:44SPEAKER_02: Because I know when I get down to nothing, God is up to something.
- 10:49SPEAKER_02: Sometimes the bridge you're you're you're building isn't primarily for you.
- 10:55SPEAKER_02: You're building something somebody behind you will cross.
- 11:00SPEAKER_02: So keep building.
- 11:02SPEAKER_02: Your faithfulness may become somebody else's way through.
- 11:08SPEAKER_02: Are you listening?
- 11:11SPEAKER_02: It's not only for you, but for somebody else as well.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: And by you going through and remaining faithful, you're having somebody else.
- 11:25SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 11:29SPEAKER_02: Ah, remember Joseph?
- 11:32SPEAKER_02: Yes, Joseph.
- 11:34SPEAKER_02: Steadfastness will reward your integrity.
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: Joseph had every reason to become bitter.
- 11:45SPEAKER_02: His brothers betrayed him.
- 11:48SPEAKER_02: He was sold in slavery.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: Potters for his wife falsely accused him.
- 11:54SPEAKER_02: He was placed in prison.
- 11:56SPEAKER_02: The butler forgot him.
- 11:58SPEAKER_02: But Joseph remained faithful.
- 12:01SPEAKER_02: And Genesis 39, 21, but the Lord was with Joseph.
- 12:06SPEAKER_02: I love that.
- 12:07SPEAKER_02: I love that verse.
- 12:10SPEAKER_02: I love that verse.
- 12:13SPEAKER_02: It lets me know that no matter what I'm going through and what's happening, God is with me.
- 12:23SPEAKER_02: God was with Joseph.
- 12:25SPEAKER_02: God was with Joseph in part of a house.
- 12:28SPEAKER_02: He was with Joseph in temptation.
- 12:30SPEAKER_02: He was with Joseph in false accusations.
- 12:33SPEAKER_02: He was with Joseph in prison.
- 12:36SPEAKER_02: And evidently in the palace.
- 12:40SPEAKER_02: He went from the pit to the prison to the palace.
- 12:47SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: Because he remained faithful.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: I remember the church at Smyrna to Smyrna in the book of Revelation that John wrote to.
- 13:04SPEAKER_02: And he told the church to Samaritan, be thou faithful unto death, and God will give you, reward you with a crown of life.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Lord.
- 13:15SPEAKER_02: And in Genesis 41, 41, and Joseph said, and Pharaoh said to Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt.
- 13:26SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 13:30SPEAKER_02: Yes, as I said earlier.
- 13:32SPEAKER_02: He went from the pit.
- 13:34SPEAKER_02: Oh, hallelujah.
- 13:36SPEAKER_02: Don't quit in the pit.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: And the pit, the part of his house, the prison, to the palace.
- 13:44SPEAKER_02: He got his reward.
- 13:46SPEAKER_02: The place where Joseph suffered was not the place where Joseph finished.
- 13:52SPEAKER_02: Somebody need to hear that this morning.
- 13:55SPEAKER_02: Where you are is not necessary where you will end up.
- 14:00SPEAKER_02: If you remain faithful.
- 14:03SPEAKER_02: An elevator may stop on several floors before reaching his destination.
- 14:09SPEAKER_02: Don't get off just because it stopped somewhere you didn't expect.
- 14:15SPEAKER_02: Joseph had several stops, but God knew his destination.
- 14:23SPEAKER_02: Stay on the elevator.
- 14:25SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 14:26SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 14:28SPEAKER_02: To your stop come.
- 14:30SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Lord.
- 14:33SPEAKER_02: Well, let's look at a woman of God.
- 14:38SPEAKER_02: Uh Ruth.
- 14:40SPEAKER_02: She was statest.
- 14:42SPEAKER_02: Her statin as were rewarded because of her loyalty.
- 14:49SPEAKER_02: Joseph was rewarded because of his integrity.
- 14:53SPEAKER_02: And Ruth was rewarded because of her loyalty to Naomi.
- 15:00SPEAKER_02: Ruth lost her husband and Naomi told her she could return home.
- 15:08SPEAKER_02: Offer left.
- 15:10SPEAKER_02: But Ruth said, and Ruth 1 is 16, Whether thou go, I will go, and where thou lodgest, I will lodge.
- 15:20SPEAKER_02: Your God will be my God.
- 15:22SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 15:25SPEAKER_02: Ruth could have turned back.
- 15:28SPEAKER_02: But instead she stayed.
- 15:31SPEAKER_02: She went to Bethlehem with Naomi.
- 15:34SPEAKER_02: She worked in the field.
- 15:36SPEAKER_02: She gleaned behind the reapers.
- 15:38SPEAKER_02: She remained faithful.
- 15:39SPEAKER_02: Then God connected her with Boaz.
- 15:45SPEAKER_02: And in Ruth 2 and 12, it says, Boaz told her, The Lord recapitul, and a full reward will be given you for the Lord God of Israel.
- 15:57SPEAKER_02: Of the Lord God of Israel.
- 16:00SPEAKER_02: A full reward.
- 16:03SPEAKER_02: A full reward.
- 16:07SPEAKER_02: Ruth started the story grieving.
- 16:12SPEAKER_02: But she didn't finish the story grieving.
- 16:16SPEAKER_02: She became the wife of Boaz.
- 16:19SPEAKER_02: The mother of Obed.
- 16:23SPEAKER_02: The grandmother of Jesse.
- 16:26SPEAKER_02: Part of the family linguist uh uh uh uh linging to to David Leading to David, part of the family line leaning, leading to David ultimately to Jesus, according to Matthew's one.
- 16:51SPEAKER_02: The reward Ruth thought she was simply stand with Naomi.
- 16:56SPEAKER_02: She didn't know God was riding her into a great greater story.
- 17:06SPEAKER_02: You don't always know what God is doing through your faithfulness.
- 17:10SPEAKER_02: Just stay faithful.
- 17:14SPEAKER_02: You are listening that now you're working in the body of Christ, you're working in your church.
- 17:20SPEAKER_02: Don't let nothing stop you from keeping what you just keep on doing what you're doing.
- 17:30SPEAKER_02: Because the enemy don't like when people are faithful.
- 17:33SPEAKER_02: And that's why he tried to get you to be unfaithful.
- 17:37SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 17:40SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 17:41SPEAKER_02: I've heard people tell people when they're working in the body of Christ, you're doing too much.
- 17:48SPEAKER_02: That's what some of them tell them.
- 17:50SPEAKER_02: That and new normally the people that's not doing anything will tell the person that is working they're doing too much.
- 17:56SPEAKER_02: Why?
- 17:57SPEAKER_02: Because it's showing them up and they want them to quit.
- 18:04SPEAKER_02: I've seen it happen.
- 18:09SPEAKER_02: And I've seen people go through it and stand the test, and then I've seen some people give in to it and listen to the wrong voices and miss out on their blessing.
- 18:23SPEAKER_02: All right, let's look at another one of God's faithful workers in the kingdom by Daniel.
- 18:34SPEAKER_02: He was steadfast, his steadfast rewarded in his consistency.
- 18:41SPEAKER_02: Consistency, roof loyalty, uh of and and then we had the integrity, the integrity of Joseph, Joseph's integrity, roof loyalty, and Daniel's consistency.
- 19:08SPEAKER_02: You have to be consistent.
- 19:11SPEAKER_02: Daniel is one of the greatest examples of steadfastness.
- 19:16SPEAKER_02: The kings changed, the government changed, laws changed, but Daniel didn't change his devotion to God.
- 19:25SPEAKER_02: When the decree against prayer was signed, in Daniel 6 and 10, he knelt before his knees three times a day and prayed and gave thanks before his God.
- 19:40SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 19:42SPEAKER_02: Daniel, they put Daniel in the line den.
- 19:47SPEAKER_02: But Daniel remained faithful.
- 19:50SPEAKER_02: And Daniel 6 and 22, my God have sent his angel and have shed the lion's mouth.
- 19:58SPEAKER_02: So the 28th verse, so this Daniel prospered in the region in the in the realm of Darius and in the realm of Cyprus, the Persian.
- 20:11SPEAKER_02: The lions couldn't stop what God had for Daniel.
- 20:16SPEAKER_02: The conspiracy couldn't stop it.
- 20:18SPEAKER_02: The den couldn't stop it.
- 20:20SPEAKER_02: God rewarded his steadfastness.
- 20:24SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 20:26SPEAKER_02: A tree doesn't run away when winter comes.
- 20:31SPEAKER_02: It stays planted.
- 20:34SPEAKER_02: Weather passes, spring returns, and evidently the fruit appears again.
- 20:41SPEAKER_02: Don't uproot yourself because you're going through the winter.
- 20:48SPEAKER_02: I said it again.
- 20:51SPEAKER_02: And this was most people quit during the winter time.
- 20:57SPEAKER_02: Old spring, summertime are going fine.
- 21:00SPEAKER_02: Things falling right at your feet.
- 21:03SPEAKER_02: As soon as you got to wait on that prayer to be answered.
- 21:08SPEAKER_02: As soon as you're going through that long suffering period, sometimes begin to give up on the winter time.
- 21:36SPEAKER_02: And this character was known for his endurance.
- 21:40SPEAKER_02: And that was Job.
- 21:43SPEAKER_02: Job lost his possession, his servants, his children, his health.
- 21:50SPEAKER_02: But he said something Job 13 15 Though he slay me yet, would I trust him?
- 21:57SPEAKER_02: Job didn't understand everything happening.
- 22:00SPEAKER_02: To him, but he refused to abandon God.
- 22:05SPEAKER_02: Then James picks it up in the book of James, the fifth chapter of James, the 11th verse.
- 22:11SPEAKER_02: It said, You have heard of the patience of Job and have seen the end of the Lord.
- 22:20SPEAKER_02: That phrase, the end of the Lord.
- 22:23SPEAKER_02: Don't judge a story in the middle.
- 22:29SPEAKER_02: You haven't seen the end yet.
- 22:33SPEAKER_02: And Job 42 and 10.
- 22:36SPEAKER_02: Also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
- 22:44SPEAKER_02: The suffering was real.
- 22:47SPEAKER_02: But the suffering didn't get the last word.
- 22:52SPEAKER_02: If you walk out of a play during intermission, you may think the story ended badly.
- 23:00SPEAKER_02: But the story isn't over.
- 23:02SPEAKER_02: Somebody might be living in the middle of the chapter.
- 23:07SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 23:08SPEAKER_02: Don't write the end.
- 23:11SPEAKER_02: For God has only written to be continued.
- 23:16SPEAKER_02: Stay steadfast.
- 23:20SPEAKER_02: Steadfast.
- 23:22SPEAKER_02: Let's look at one more.
- 23:24SPEAKER_02: I believe we got time for one more prayer person to look at.
- 23:30SPEAKER_02: Is rewarded for his labor.
- 23:34SPEAKER_02: That was the apostle Paul.
- 23:37SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 23:40SPEAKER_02: He was beaten, imprisoned, stoned, shipwrecked, rejected, persecuted.
- 23:49SPEAKER_02: And I look at myself sometimes, I say, you know what?
- 23:54SPEAKER_02: They're little things you go into, you need to just sit down and shut up.
- 24:00SPEAKER_02: Cause this man, after all of that, I haven't been in prison, I haven't been stoned, I haven't been shipwrecked, not have been rejected a little bit.
- 24:15SPEAKER_02: Some little forms of persecution, but not like what they did.
- 24:20SPEAKER_02: But you know what he said at Acts 20, 24?
- 24:26SPEAKER_02: And this sticks with me.
- 24:28SPEAKER_02: And it keeps me getting back up after I get knocked down.
- 24:32SPEAKER_02: None of these things move me.
- 24:38SPEAKER_02: Oh, hallelujah.
- 24:40SPEAKER_02: God put it in the He put these examples in the Word of God for us to follow.
- 24:48SPEAKER_02: Thank you, Jesus.
- 24:53SPEAKER_02: That's steadfastness.
- 24:56SPEAKER_02: Then near the end of his life, Paul said, then he said this in uh 2 Timothy 4 and 7.
- 25:03SPEAKER_02: I fought a good fight.
- 25:06SPEAKER_02: I finished my course and I kept the faith.
- 25:10SPEAKER_02: Notice those three statements.
- 25:12SPEAKER_02: I fought, I finished, I kept.
- 25:17SPEAKER_02: Then he says this, and it ties right into our message today in 2 Timothy 4 and 8.
- 25:28SPEAKER_02: Henceforth, there's later for me a crown of righteousness.
- 25:37SPEAKER_02: Paul understood.
- 25:40SPEAKER_02: There's a crown after the cross.
- 25:42SPEAKER_02: There's a finish line after the race.
- 25:46SPEAKER_02: There's a reward after faithful labor.
- 25:50SPEAKER_02: Nobody receives uh the finisher's medal at a mile once.
- 25:57SPEAKER_02: You have to finish.
- 25:59SPEAKER_02: You gotta get you you may get tired, but keep running.
- 26:04SPEAKER_02: You may slow down, but keep running.
- 26:08SPEAKER_02: You may hurt, but keep on running.
- 26:12SPEAKER_02: You know why?
- 26:13SPEAKER_02: Because there's something's waiting at the finish line.
- 26:18SPEAKER_02: Oh hallelujah.
- 26:21SPEAKER_02: And the greatest example of steadfastness is our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
- 26:27SPEAKER_02: Yes, Jesus endured the rejection, the betrayal, the false accuser, the mockery, the beatings, the crown of thorns, the cross.
- 26:40SPEAKER_02: Yet Hebrews 12 and 2 says, Looking unto Jesus, the altar and the finish of our faith, who for the joy was set before him, have endured the cross.
- 26:55SPEAKER_02: He endured.
- 26:57SPEAKER_02: Jesus didn't just come down from the cross.
- 27:01SPEAKER_02: He didn't just abandon the mission.
- 27:03SPEAKER_02: He remained faithful until he said, It is finished.
- 27:10SPEAKER_02: Now that I quit, not I had enough.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: But he said, It is finished.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: And after the cross came resurrection, after the suffering came victory, after humiliation came exaltation.
- 27:27SPEAKER_02: In Philippians 2 and 9, wherefore God have highly exalted him and given him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of God.
- 27:44SPEAKER_02: Don't quit on Friday when Sunday is coming.
- 27:47SPEAKER_02: God bless you this morning.
- 27:50SPEAKER_02: Oh, God bless every one of you this morning.
- 27:54SPEAKER_02: In the name of Jesus.
- 27:56SPEAKER_02: Hallelujah.
- 27:58SPEAKER_02: We're going to close out with our song by Charles Jenkins.
- 28:05SPEAKER_02: Praise the Lord.
- 28:06SPEAKER_02: You tell us.
- 28:08SPEAKER_02: He tells us to keep the faith.
- 28:09SPEAKER_02: Keep the faith.
- 28:10SPEAKER_02: Keep the faith.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: God bless you.
- 28:12SPEAKER_02: And thank you for tuning.
- 28:14SPEAKER_02: All you tuning in this week on GoPartyonline.org.

- 28:22SPEAKER_02: Love you all in Jesus' name.
- 28:25SPEAKER_01: You're going to remember.
- 28:26SPEAKER_00: You're in the house.
