  So the first story that I have for you guys is I have an update

  on the Alex Earl Braxton Berrios breakup.

  So yesterday I reported on the US Weekly article that announced

  that the pair had split. While this caused a lot of

  conversation online, there were also some pictures and videos
• 1:11
  that left people speculating about about what went down

  between the two. First, there was an alleged DM

  that Alex had received and allegedly posted to her close
• 1:21
  friends that was circulating. The screenshot was a
• 1:24
  conversation between Alex and New York Giants rookie Jackson
• 1:27
  Dart, and in it he had sent a message that read Hey, you

  single. Now, when this first started

  circulating, many tech talk users use this as confirmation

  that Alex and Braxton had broken up because a lot of people were

  reluctant to believe that the US Weekly article was valid, I

  suppose. I mean, I think we probably know

  by now that if it's like Us Weekly people those kinds of

  more like legitimate, quote UN quote legitimate tabloids.

  If they are reporting, like confirming that there is a

  breakup, even if it says source and it's not like directly from
• 1:58
  a Rep or whatever. It's like someone on their team

  has reached out and told these publications and verified it.

  So regardless, people were still kind of like unsure because Alex

  and Braxton themselves had not publicly addressed this.

  Alex has since responded to the DM so she posted a picture of

  herself to her TikTok story with the caption What is this fake

  photoshopped DM? You guys are posting one that

  never happened 2 that wouldn't be on my story.

  Given she clarified the DM and didn't comment on Braxton or

  debunk the breakup rumors, a lot of people are like OK, this is

  obviously confirmation that they're broken up.

  That being said, many users remain confused about their

  relationship status because another tidbit, another update

  here is that Alex posted a TikTok from what appeared to be

  Braxton's house. In the TikTok, she was eating a

  burrito without her hands, and users made the connection

  because they recognized the curtains behind her.

  It should be worth noting, however, that before Alex went

  on Dancing with the Stars, she had moved into Braxton's house

  in Miami because her lease had run out and Braxton was going to

  Houston for a football. So Alex had a lot of travel

  planned and it wasn't worth her, I guess, signing a new lease.

  So with this context, then it's like, OK, well, it's probably

  just that she lives at his house in Miami.

  She's in Miami right now. Especially if it was a mutual

  And she was like, let me look into it.

  And then while Annabelle and I are prepping, Mini Sean messaged

  me again and was like, there's an update on this story.

  Please cover it. I was like, OK, wow, you really

  Anyways. So a social media user has found

  a box of photos belonging to the talk show host and actress Ricki
• 3:59
  Lake. Before we get into the story,

  let me first explain who Ricki Lake is.

  For anyone that doesn't know, she's an American television
• 4:06
  host and actress, and she's most well known for her role in the
• 4:09
  1988 version of Hairspray, as well as hosting a talk show in

  the 90s through to the early 2000s.

  I remember Ricki Lake like I used to.

  Every once in a while come home from school and watch Ricki

  Lake. Obviously Ricki is not someone

  that we normally cover on mini scroll, but in the past day or

  so a Threads post mentioning Ricki has gone absolutely viral.

  The post was from a user named Patti Scanlon and in it she

  wrote. Anyone know how to contact Ricki

  Lake? I picked up some photos out of

  Pasadena City Collage Flea Market and the box seems to be

  full of a lot of photos of Ricki Lake at Ricki Lake.

  I think she may want these. She may not have copies.

  saying that Patty was so nice for posting this.

  And they also noted that Ricky had apparently lost her home in

  the Palisades fires earlier this year, likely making these photos

  she gave an update writing found Ricky will be getting photos to

  holiday season. It's been almost a year since

  thought it was worth mentioning because it was such a good

  alignment. So Chapel being the new face, a

  new ambassador of Mac, it is so aligned with Mac's brand history

  her to Taylor Swift on Tiktok. So an Australian creator named

  Christie has been called out by Kelsey Ballerini after she made

  a fan edit of the singer that compared her to Taylor Swift.

  Christie makes fangirl content in her bio.

  She has names of different pop stars that I presume she loves.

  She's like a fangirl of. So she has Kelsey Ballerini, she

  that this is probably a sensitive point for Kelsey

  But on the other hand, the whole like, close enough, welcome back

  And I don't think that you can actually say that in this case,

  Christie used it as like a genuine comparison.

  That being said, I don't know if Kelsey Ballerini knows about

  that meme or not, But I will say a lot of Kelsey's fans though,

  are on Christie side. They're in her comments.

  They're making their own videos saying like, don't worry about

  this. We understood what you were

  doing here. It kind of gave Taylor Swift

  fearless as well. Like, we understand you're a fan

  of all of them and like, please don't let this bother you, which

  I also think is really nice. You know, we don't see a lot of

  fandom communities kind of coming together like that,

  especially when the fan object, like Kelsey Ballerini calls out

  a fan like that. That's not typical, I feel, in

  fan behavior. So yeah, it's it's nice to see
