A Goldsboro native and aerospace engineer, Major Alexander Davis, tragically lost his life at 34 in a B-52 crash during a test flight at Edwards Air Force Base. A decorated test pilot and graduate of North Carolina State and the Air Force Test Pilot School, he was remembered as a devoted brother, son, and patriot. His family mourns deeply as services are held in Goldsboro this week, with full military honors to follow.
