Latest / Tea Time w/Amie & Bev / Episode #238: Going & Growing Together
Transcript
- 0:02Speaker 1: Hey, everybody, welcome to tea time with Amy and Bevay.
- 0:06Speaker 1: We're back because we have more to say. So you
- 0:10Speaker 1: met two other recordings where we're wearing the exact same yep.
- 0:13Speaker 1: We hit stop and then we start another recording, so
- 0:18Speaker 1: I don't cut I don't cut videos at this point.
- 0:23Speaker 1: So we record a segment, stop, start again, record a
- 0:27Speaker 1: segment so that we have content readily available for those
- 0:31Speaker 1: times when when Bev and I are living life and
- 0:34Speaker 1: we have lots going on, and so we always have
- 0:37Speaker 1: content available because we show up every single week with
- 0:40Speaker 1: a recording for the last almost four and a half years,
- 0:45Speaker 1: which every time I say that, I'm just like, dig
- 0:48Speaker 1: it's been that long. Get out. I don't even believe it, Like,
- 0:52Speaker 1: no way, it's not been that long, but it has.
- 0:55Speaker 2: It's been. It's been nice. It's been a nice journey,
- 0:58Speaker 2: especially when I when we we've talked a little bit
- 1:00Speaker 2: about the beginning since like the beginnings where it's like
- 1:03Speaker 2: I talk about resisting I was resisting it, but you
- 1:06Speaker 2: must mentioned it so many every time we would sit
- 1:08Speaker 2: down and have a conversation, like in between clients or
- 1:12Speaker 2: in between whatever, it's like the conversations would be so
- 1:15Speaker 2: great and you're like, yeah, we should do this. I'm like, man, okay,
- 1:17Speaker 2: you know, I'll pick up my pocket, you know, like
- 1:21Speaker 2: you know whatever, but didn't do it. And it's like
- 1:24Speaker 2: all the way up to the time of just doing it,
- 1:26Speaker 2: and then the time of where we're at right now,
- 1:28Speaker 2: this it's been a it's been an awesome journey, really has.
- 1:32Speaker 2: Even though there's been some sad times and there's been
- 1:34Speaker 2: some ups and downs, you know, in our lives, and
- 1:36Speaker 2: we've had experiences, it's still it's still been a blessing.
- 1:41Speaker 2: All it's been a blessing.
- 1:43Speaker 1: And there's there's a handful of videos that we did
- 1:45Speaker 1: where one of us got triggered and you can see it.
- 1:49Speaker 1: You can hear it in our tone and you can
- 1:51Speaker 1: see it in my face, and and we still put
- 1:53Speaker 1: it out there because that was life at that time.
- 1:57Speaker 2: And and we're we're still journey.
- 2:02Speaker 1: We're still friends, we're still having conversations, we're still sharing
- 2:05Speaker 1: because those were moments of learning and growing and then
- 2:08Speaker 1: the moment we sometimes we hear things that we don't
- 2:11Speaker 1: want to hear, and and but we know we know,
- 2:15Speaker 1: like we know it was something we didn't need to hear,
- 2:19Speaker 1: but we didn't want to hear. And we take that
- 2:24Speaker 1: information and I know that if either one of us
- 2:27Speaker 1: got triggered by the other, conversation comes to the close.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I'm not gonna say end, but to a close, and
- 2:35Speaker 1: then we go and process our stuff and then we
- 2:38Speaker 1: come back together and go, Okay, this is what I got,
- 2:41Speaker 1: and we process again together and we've had this great
- 2:45Speaker 1: relationship in doing that. And it's so grateful for this
- 2:50Speaker 1: journey over this period of time because it began even
- 2:54Speaker 1: before the before the podcast started, and we've been through
- 3:00Speaker 1: a lot, and it's a even wrapping my brain around
- 3:06Speaker 1: where we were and where we are, whether whether it
- 3:08Speaker 1: was together or in our own lives. It's just like, wow,
- 3:11Speaker 1: it got us go right because it's so exciting.
- 3:13Speaker 2: So it is true, it's true, And it's like recognizing
- 3:18Speaker 2: when you're triggered by another person it doesn't have anything
- 3:21Speaker 2: to do with the other person. They just it's like
- 3:24Speaker 2: a light bulb went off in your body and it's
- 3:27Speaker 2: like there, this this is It's a time for you
- 3:29Speaker 2: to look at this now. It's not a time to
- 3:32Speaker 2: keep burying it. And it's like we've talked about so
- 3:35Speaker 2: many times as we're doing the journey, and as we're
- 3:37Speaker 2: going through these processes that it gets easier and easier
- 3:40Speaker 2: because you're not looking, you're not stuff's not hidden and
- 3:42Speaker 2: buried and stuff like it used to be. So it's
- 3:45Speaker 2: being able to look at a lot of those things
- 3:47Speaker 2: and then have those experiences and move beyond them, and
- 3:50Speaker 2: and it's very freeing. Really, all of it's very freeing.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Yes, And in that time, Bev and I have remained
- 4:04Speaker 1: with our relationship over a period I don't even know
- 4:08Speaker 1: how long has it been, like right right around ten years,
- 4:12Speaker 1: because didn't you say ten years ago when you did
- 4:14Speaker 1: the reiki or massage or how long.
- 4:17Speaker 2: You've been doing About about ten years and.
- 4:21Speaker 1: We met or became we connected. We met before that,
- 4:25Speaker 1: but not one of us was out in the space,
- 4:27Speaker 1: but we connected right around the time you got license.
- 4:29Speaker 2: Right, it was probably not long after that because I
- 4:32Speaker 2: started off in Phoenix and I went through esthetics, so
- 4:34Speaker 2: probably about another year after that, so you if you were,
- 4:36Speaker 2: probably about nine years because then when I got here,
- 4:39Speaker 2: I kind of reached out because you guys were doing
- 4:42Speaker 2: something and I thought, I don't know what I thought.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I was guided, I don't know, and I and I
- 4:46Speaker 2: took that guidance and went that direction, even though I
- 4:49Speaker 2: was still resisting things. But it was okay because that
- 4:51Speaker 2: was just where I was at, And so it was
- 4:54Speaker 2: we all kind of have the match in vibrational frequency
- 4:57Speaker 2: to a point otherwise we would never have come together.
- 5:00Speaker 2: It was It was all divine, all of it was.
- 5:03Speaker 1: And some of the people that that was in the
- 5:06Speaker 1: mix of us being connected are no longer in in
- 5:11Speaker 1: these conversations, like not even I don't have conversations with
- 5:15Speaker 1: them anyway, And so had some of well that the
- 5:23Speaker 1: people that were involved at that time that there was
- 5:28Speaker 1: discord and those relationships for me basically ended and Bev
- 5:35Speaker 1: and I states to stay connected. So even though there
- 5:38Speaker 1: was discord from those relationships, the outcome is this dynamic,
- 5:44Speaker 1: incredible relationship. And so we don't always see in the
- 5:50Speaker 1: middle of chaos the gems that that the outcome the
- 5:57Speaker 1: rewards I feel because of so many different aspects of
- 6:03Speaker 1: experiences that I've had in my life. I look back
- 6:05Speaker 1: now and it's incredibly amazing how every one of those experiences, good, bad,
- 6:14Speaker 1: or indifferent, contributed to me being where I am now
- 6:20Speaker 1: within myself and with my relationships and so out of
- 6:25Speaker 1: the discord, there's look for the incredible changes that are
- 6:33Speaker 1: being revealed, and we can even take that not just
- 6:37Speaker 1: in our own relationships, but in the world that there are.
- 6:43Speaker 1: You may perceive it as bad, horrible, wrong. You might
- 6:49Speaker 1: be perceiving that, but that's because that's what you're focused on.
- 6:53Speaker 1: But if you think about, man, what good is going
- 6:56Speaker 1: to come out of this situation, and then watch it unfold,
- 7:00Speaker 1: it's a really fascinating story.
- 7:06Speaker 2: It's a surrendering story, it's a letting go story. It's
- 7:09Speaker 2: also knowing that when you're changing and you're going through
- 7:13Speaker 2: these shifts and you're growing and expanding, that not everybody
- 7:17Speaker 2: is going to be there like they were before. Not
- 7:20Speaker 2: the same people are going to be there, and it's
- 7:21Speaker 2: not a bad thing.
- 7:23Speaker 1: It's just a changing thing.
- 7:24Speaker 2: And it doesn't mean that they cann't show up later
- 7:26Speaker 2: on because I don't have conversation, I'm not involved with
- 7:28Speaker 2: anybody from our group that was part of the group before.
- 7:34Speaker 2: It's because it's evolved and it's being okay with that,
- 7:37Speaker 2: because it's again letting go of control and it's knowing
- 7:40Speaker 2: that things are happening and it's just going with that flow.
- 7:44Speaker 2: For it's always for the greater good. It always is
- 7:47Speaker 2: because we in our groups, we no longer have our
- 7:51Speaker 2: our families or any of that kind of stuff. We
- 7:53Speaker 2: don't have a there's not a connection that can be
- 7:57Speaker 2: maintained anymore because you're not vibing at the same frequency.
- 8:00Speaker 2: And if you don't, as long as you just know
- 8:01Speaker 2: it and you're neutral about it, you're not putting it
- 8:03Speaker 2: as a good or a bad thing. It's just an
- 8:05Speaker 2: evolution thing. It's awesome because I've heard so many mediums
- 8:11Speaker 2: talk about, like because Alex Ferrari from Next Level Soul
- 8:14Speaker 2: is always asking the questions like how do your life
- 8:16Speaker 2: change after you came out of the spiritual closet or
- 8:19Speaker 2: your mediumship closet or your channel closet whatever that looked like.
- 8:24Speaker 2: And it's like, yeah, that we did lose friends, but
- 8:26Speaker 2: you don't lose friends. You just shift. There's a vibrational
- 8:31Speaker 2: frequency change, and it's like you can't still maintain the friendship.
- 8:36Speaker 2: You can try, and then it becomes a struggle because
- 8:38Speaker 2: you're trying to control it, but try to maintain those
- 8:42Speaker 2: friendships and stuff. It's like I don't even for like
- 8:44Speaker 2: my own family, for my stepdad. I haven't talked to
- 8:46Speaker 2: him for over four years, and it's like, it's not
- 8:50Speaker 2: I have a different feeling about our relationship and stuff
- 8:55Speaker 2: like that, but it's not a relationship that I vibe with.
- 9:00Speaker 2: It's not a friendship because it's not a friendship. It's
- 9:03Speaker 2: not a there's not a connection, there's not a vibrational
- 9:06Speaker 2: frequency match. And that's okay. But I don't have the
- 9:09Speaker 2: same angst or the same hatred or the same hatred
- 9:14Speaker 2: would be very strong. But I'm just using that as
- 9:16Speaker 2: an example because I didn't feel hate towards this person.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I just didn't feel that that person. I just didn't
- 9:23Speaker 2: have the feelings. They didn't feel good. So but all
- 9:26Speaker 2: that's shifted now and I see things differently. So it's
- 9:28Speaker 2: like I a lot of times we'll say, oh, I'm
- 9:31Speaker 2: going to call them up and tell them I forgive them,
- 9:32Speaker 2: and it's like, how how asshole is does that sound?
- 9:35Speaker 2: I'm going to call someone up and tell them, Hey,
- 9:37Speaker 2: I forgive you, And that's not a it's not an
- 9:39Speaker 2: out and it's not an exterior job. It's an interior thing.
- 9:42Speaker 2: It's it's an inside job recognizing and forgiving because then
- 9:46Speaker 2: it's also forgiving myself because I showed up and contributed
- 9:49Speaker 2: in that relationship too. So it's like looking at all
- 9:52Speaker 2: these relationships and knowing that it's okay to let them go.
- 9:55Speaker 2: You don't have to hold them, hold on to them
- 9:57Speaker 2: because it's a familiar, right. Just because it's familiar doesn't
- 10:01Speaker 2: mean we need to stay in that same place. I mean,
- 10:04Speaker 2: if you think about it, you might have been familiar
- 10:05Speaker 2: with disease, you might have been familiar with cancer, you
- 10:08Speaker 2: might have been familiar with abuse, you might but it's
- 10:11Speaker 2: like you kind of come to terms with a lot
- 10:12Speaker 2: of those things and you kind of move on because
- 10:14Speaker 2: they no longer have They don't serve you in any way.
- 10:17Speaker 2: There's nothing to learn from them or to grow from them.
- 10:19Speaker 2: You've grown from them. And so it's knowing that I
- 10:24Speaker 2: also know that we were all souls and we're all
- 10:26Speaker 2: part of the same body, and there is no You
- 10:28Speaker 2: can't disconnect, You can't you can take off the leg,
- 10:31Speaker 2: but the energy is still there of the lair of
- 10:33Speaker 2: that leg. That leg still has feelings, you still feel it.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Not that I've had that as a personal experience, I've
- 10:39Speaker 2: heard others talk about it in the same way, and
- 10:41Speaker 2: even through going through massage and how you can mirror
- 10:45Speaker 2: their leg in order to facilitate the feeling of that
- 10:48Speaker 2: leg being massage so that it brings peace to that
- 10:51Speaker 2: that person's body because the energy is still there. The
- 10:54Speaker 2: energy never left. So it's just recognizing there's such a
- 10:57Speaker 2: bigger picture, and it's being okay and letting go and
- 11:00Speaker 2: then seeing what that picture looks like later on and
- 11:03Speaker 2: not having control of it because you aren't going to
- 11:05Speaker 2: get there with control. You're going to staminate. You're going
- 11:09Speaker 2: to slow things down, and you're going to have a
- 11:11Speaker 2: bigger wanting and a desire. This angst will be inside
- 11:14Speaker 2: of you to kind of push it forward. And that's
- 11:17Speaker 2: kind of a lot of the things that I would
- 11:18Speaker 2: say that I felt. You know, you feel it feels
- 11:21Speaker 2: like an angst when you're going through these processes, but
- 11:24Speaker 2: it's okay, and it's not going to feel so bad
- 11:26Speaker 2: when you just learn to let go of things and
- 11:28Speaker 2: be like, Okay, I'll see you around. I'll see you
- 11:30Speaker 2: around the you know, around the other side of the
- 11:34Speaker 2: moon later on or something. I don't know. It's a
- 11:37Speaker 2: small piece and ease.
- 11:39Speaker 1: And the relationships serve their purpose. So the discord of
- 11:45Speaker 1: the group that we were part of, the discord of
- 11:48Speaker 1: your stepdad, the discord of the stepdad's I had was
- 11:54Speaker 1: all part of that learning and growing, And the learning
- 11:59Speaker 1: and growing is continuing to live in that space of
- 12:05Speaker 1: you have to be angry at them or hate them,
- 12:08Speaker 1: or live with the idea that they criticized you and
- 12:13Speaker 1: judged you all the time, and so now you just
- 12:17Speaker 1: think you're a worthless piece of shit. And here you are,
- 12:21Speaker 1: as an adult living your life. You want to be happy,
- 12:25Speaker 1: but because you're living by the seeds that were planted
- 12:29Speaker 1: from these people when you were little, that you're still
- 12:32Speaker 1: hanging on to that in your subconscious mind and you
- 12:34Speaker 1: don't know how to be happy. So what do you
- 12:38Speaker 1: do with that information? Well, you watch people who are happy,
- 12:44Speaker 1: You read books about happiness, You read books about love
- 12:47Speaker 1: and healthy relationships, You read, you listen to people who
- 12:52Speaker 1: are coaching these types of things. They have lots and
- 12:56Speaker 1: lots of free content on the web now, and so
- 12:59Speaker 1: you find the information that you feel is going to
- 13:01Speaker 1: help you along your journey and implement it. So you
- 13:05Speaker 1: have to practice. You've got to practice in order to
- 13:09Speaker 1: get better within yourself. If you're miserable and you want
- 13:12Speaker 1: to be happy, you have to practice being happy, and
- 13:14Speaker 1: that might just mean just practicing put a smile on
- 13:17Speaker 1: your face more often and then let that smile over
- 13:21Speaker 1: time be there longer and longer and longer periods of
- 13:24Speaker 1: time throughout your day, and then their body starts to
- 13:27Speaker 1: respond to that. So feeding yourself the information that's going
- 13:33Speaker 1: to help you shift your energy, your being from what
- 13:40Speaker 1: you are or what you have been and it doesn't
- 13:43Speaker 1: feel good to what you want to be. You find
- 13:46Speaker 1: the resources that's going to help you get there. If
- 13:49Speaker 1: I hadn't found the resources to pull me out of
- 13:53Speaker 1: the anger and the guilt and the shame and the
- 13:56Speaker 1: fears and the judge, if I wouldn't have, if I
- 13:59Speaker 1: would have just stayed in that mindset of that's all
- 14:03Speaker 1: I am, that's all I will ever be, and there's
- 14:05Speaker 1: nothing more I can do, and there's nothing more about
- 14:09Speaker 1: life than crap. I wouldn't be here with Bev. There's
- 14:14Speaker 1: no way her and I would have connected, not in
- 14:18Speaker 1: this space like we are now. We might have connected
- 14:21Speaker 1: in our in our lower we'll call lower vibrational emotions,
- 14:27Speaker 1: We would have connected there. But if she would have
- 14:30Speaker 1: taken the journey at that time doing what she's doing now,
- 14:34Speaker 1: learning about spirit, learning about meditation and channeling and all
- 14:38Speaker 1: the things. Her and I would not be friends right
- 14:40Speaker 1: now because her and I would not have vibrationally connected anymore.
- 14:45Speaker 1: She'd been like listen, it wouldn't even have been a conversation.
- 14:48Speaker 1: She would have just went off onto her own life
- 14:51Speaker 1: and doing her own thing, and I would be stuck
- 14:53Speaker 1: in my own misery. And so the relationships serve their purpose, good, bad, indifferent.
- 15:00Speaker 1: They serve a purpose, and you get to utilize that
- 15:03Speaker 1: information to decide what you want to do within yourself
- 15:06Speaker 1: and decide what type of life you want to live
- 15:09Speaker 1: and how much joy is incorporated in that life that
- 15:13Speaker 1: is strictly on you and your responsibility.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's all a choice always, which is actually probably going
- 15:25Speaker 2: to have been a part of the conversation for all
- 15:27Speaker 2: these videos that we've done in the last this is
- 15:29Speaker 2: the third one, and it's because everything is a choice,
- 15:32Speaker 2: all of the videos maybe we've ever done, it's really
- 15:34Speaker 2: always been a choice. It's always been a choice. I
- 15:37Speaker 2: can sit here and say I'm right, I'm right, I'm
- 15:39Speaker 2: right about something and eliminate hearing anything else and that's
- 15:43Speaker 2: a choice, or I can be like I'm right, but
- 15:47Speaker 2: there's other other views, there's other perspectives, and everybody's right
- 15:52Speaker 2: in their own ways there. I mean, really, they can
- 15:54Speaker 2: fight for their they can argue for their own righteousness.
- 15:58Speaker 2: But it's like it's it's just been a journey of surrendering,
- 16:02Speaker 2: really surrendering and seeing other sides, surrendering control, surrendering and
- 16:05Speaker 2: thinking I know what's best because I don't know what's best.
- 16:09Speaker 2: I only know what's best from what I've learned in
- 16:11Speaker 2: this experience, what someone else might have told me that, hey,
- 16:14Speaker 2: you need to do this, because this is being able
- 16:17Speaker 2: to let go. You know. One of the things that's
- 16:19Speaker 2: popping into my mind right now. I was so much
- 16:22Speaker 2: present with my first grandson. I was very present with
- 16:26Speaker 2: my granddaughter, and now my third grandchild, my second grandson
- 16:32Speaker 2: is here, and I haven't been in every part of
- 16:34Speaker 2: his experience, and I've seen how maybe it is because
- 16:39Speaker 2: I've not been into every part of it, but he's
- 16:42Speaker 2: very flowing. He climbs on everything, he climbs down. I
- 16:46Speaker 2: would have been worried about him being hurt about all
- 16:49Speaker 2: these things. So it's like it allows him to have
- 16:51Speaker 2: that growth, and then he's teaching me things even when
- 16:54Speaker 2: I'm not around him all the time, and I get
- 16:56Speaker 2: to see him and I get to have the experience
- 16:59Speaker 2: of you know, even going to visit to pick up
- 17:01Speaker 2: with my granddaughter and because my daughter's homeschooling, or but
- 17:05Speaker 2: to even be able to sit there and my grandson
- 17:08Speaker 2: climb up onto a chair, climb into my lap, turn
- 17:10Speaker 2: around and set us back against me, get all cozy
- 17:13Speaker 2: and just like sit and snuggle in, or even to
- 17:17Speaker 2: climb up when I give him when I pick him up,
- 17:19Speaker 2: and I'm like, oh hi, And how he'll just lay
- 17:21Speaker 2: his chest, you know, lay his whole body into me
- 17:23Speaker 2: to have that experience. Before I thought I had to
- 17:27Speaker 2: be part of all that cool experience all the time
- 17:29Speaker 2: because I need to be there to plant seeds, and
- 17:31Speaker 2: I need to be there. It's divine timing and it
- 17:34Speaker 2: all happens at the right time, and he's planting seeds
- 17:36Speaker 2: within me with this love that he shows up and
- 17:39Speaker 2: gives me, and with how he doesn't take anything seriously
- 17:42Speaker 2: when someone yells or does anything, he doesn't it's not serious.
- 17:45Speaker 2: The victim inside of me would come out before me
- 17:48Speaker 2: like that's not right. Or whatever, and because what was
- 17:52Speaker 2: it triggering was inside of me, is something that happened
- 17:54Speaker 2: to me when I was a child. But he's just
- 17:56Speaker 2: letting it roll off his back. He doesn't really care
- 17:58Speaker 2: about that stuff. So as long as we recognize all
- 18:02Speaker 2: this whole everything that's happening around us is for us. Really,
- 18:06Speaker 2: it's showing us so many beautiful things depending on where
- 18:09Speaker 2: we're looking at, depending on what we're feeding and we're
- 18:11Speaker 2: feeding black, Are we feeding abundance? Are we you know,
- 18:14Speaker 2: are we filling our heart up? Are we feeling like
- 18:16Speaker 2: we're being hateful or being a victim. It's like there's
- 18:21Speaker 2: everything's a choice, and every moment is an opportunity to
- 18:24Speaker 2: make a choice, every moment, and we can make a
- 18:28Speaker 2: choice to be the one that's controlling all that and
- 18:31Speaker 2: then miss out on things, or we can be the
- 18:33Speaker 2: one that sits back and witnesses all of it and
- 18:36Speaker 2: enjoys it and fills our cups up. Because it's so
- 18:39Speaker 2: overflowing right now. To be able to have these experiences,
- 18:42Speaker 2: to be able to watch my kids how they are
- 18:44Speaker 2: with their kids, and to be able regardless no matter
- 18:48Speaker 2: how they're showing up, because they're still here and they're
- 18:49Speaker 2: still showing up. So it's like there's there's beauty that's
- 18:53Speaker 2: happening all around us all the time that we miss
- 18:56Speaker 2: out on if we're trying to orchestrate and control and
- 19:00Speaker 2: simulitate every single thing that's going on in our experience.
- 19:05Speaker 1: And the and how does that control work out exactly?
- 19:13Speaker 2: There there's no defining words. It's just an action. That
- 19:16Speaker 2: was it.
- 19:19Speaker 1: I So at my my place of employment, there's a
- 19:23Speaker 1: lady in the that works there as well, And over
- 19:27Speaker 1: the course of the past couple of weeks, I have
- 19:32Speaker 1: listened to her conversations outside outside of my presence. I
- 19:38Speaker 1: can overhear conversations with different people. I watch her body language,
- 19:48Speaker 1: I listen to the words she uses, and over the
- 19:52Speaker 1: past couple two three weeks, I'm just like, mh, this
- 19:58Speaker 1: is a snowball that's gonna come and you ain't gonna
- 20:01Speaker 1: like Like I haven't said that to her, but in
- 20:03Speaker 1: my own internal knowing, I'm like, oh, she's she's got
- 20:09Speaker 1: some stuff coming and she ain't gonna like it type
- 20:12Speaker 1: of thing, but whatever, that's her journey. And I can
- 20:15Speaker 1: plant seeds. But if she's not in a space to
- 20:17Speaker 1: receive the seeds, to nurture them. They're just they're getting
- 20:24Speaker 1: they're just laying on top of the soil with no water.
- 20:26Speaker 1: They're just gonna dry up and be done. And sure enough,
- 20:32Speaker 1: the other day she sent me a text. I didn't
- 20:37Speaker 1: quite understand the text, but I knew it meant In it,
- 20:41Speaker 1: she says she's gonna be late, and then she puts
- 20:42Speaker 1: some other stuff. I'm like, I don't even know what
- 20:45Speaker 1: this means. Well, she calls me a little bit later
- 20:49Speaker 1: and she's telling me and running down a list. Now,
- 20:53Speaker 1: this is mind you. This is by by a little
- 20:58Speaker 1: bit after eight am. She is running down a list
- 21:03Speaker 1: of things that had already happened that morning, and she's
- 21:06Speaker 1: in tears, and it's the worst day, and it's everything's
- 21:09Speaker 1: bad and horrible and I and I'm this is like, okay,
- 21:16Speaker 1: it is not the worst day. It's not a horrible day.
- 21:20Speaker 1: It's a moment in time where there's a little bit
- 21:22Speaker 1: of a hiccup and it's okay, So just take a breath.
- 21:27Speaker 1: You're just gonna handle each segment the best you can.
- 21:32Speaker 1: You're gonna get through it. It's gonna be okay. It's
- 21:36Speaker 1: all gonna work out. You gotta breathe. You gotta breathe
- 21:39Speaker 1: through it. If anything, you just gotta breathe through it.
- 21:42Speaker 1: It's okay that you're not I don't take the day off,
- 21:46Speaker 1: take care of whatever you need to do. You work
- 21:48Speaker 1: a lot of hours, and it's okay, take the day.
- 21:53Speaker 1: We're gonna survive a day without you. I mean, I
- 21:57Speaker 1: seriously think that was the worst thing that she was
- 21:59Speaker 1: seeing of was she was going to be late for work.
- 22:03Speaker 1: I'm like, well, first of all, you're already late, it's okay.
- 22:05Speaker 1: And second of all, if you have all this stuff
- 22:08Speaker 1: going on, there is no point of you being here
- 22:11Speaker 1: at your job. So just go doke care of what
- 22:16Speaker 1: you need to take care of. And then that evening,
- 22:19Speaker 1: that same evening, we had a funny event planned with
- 22:23Speaker 1: this organization that I'm in, and it was it was
- 22:26Speaker 1: a lot of fun. It was costumes were encouraged and
- 22:29Speaker 1: all the things, and and somebody had bought her like
- 22:34Speaker 1: a week before, a ticket to tend and so she
- 22:38Speaker 1: was a couple of us asked you are are you
- 22:40Speaker 1: going to come tonight and she was just beside hers
- 22:44Speaker 1: She's like, I don't know, I don't know, I'll see
- 22:46Speaker 1: and just okay, well, she did come and I watched
- 22:51Speaker 1: her and she had she was laughing and having a
- 22:54Speaker 1: good time. And then the next day she came into
- 22:57Speaker 1: my office and she said, I'm really glad I came
- 23:01Speaker 1: last night because I had so much fun, and it
- 23:04Speaker 1: was it was really what I needed. And so the
- 23:10Speaker 1: difference in her energy was like night and day. You know,
- 23:17Speaker 1: part she's just a mess wrapped up in all the chaos.
- 23:23Speaker 1: And then she went to an event that redirected her focus,
- 23:27Speaker 1: raised her energy, put joy in her heart, like laughter
- 23:32Speaker 1: and being around like almost like fifty to sixty people
- 23:36Speaker 1: in a room just having a great time, and it
- 23:40Speaker 1: just noticing. So it takes sometimes well okay, usually always anyway,
- 23:47Speaker 1: it takes the things that we don't like to really
- 23:50Speaker 1: get our attention to really like we are so in
- 23:53Speaker 1: it and so focused that we recognize how much it
- 23:56Speaker 1: sucks and we don't want to be that way. And
- 23:58Speaker 1: then you have these experience is so elating and fun
- 24:02Speaker 1: and exciting and exhilarating, and you want more of that.
- 24:07Speaker 1: Well you've got to practice more of that if that's
- 24:09Speaker 1: what you want. And so just just tell that story.
- 24:13Speaker 1: It's a little lengthy, but to tell that story so
- 24:16Speaker 1: people understand what you focus on. Growth, your language, your words,
- 24:23Speaker 1: your your body language, your emotions, your thought process. If
- 24:28Speaker 1: the world's against you, that's all you're going to talk about.
- 24:30Speaker 1: That's all you're going to see. That's all you're going
- 24:32Speaker 1: to perceive, and that's what you're going to get. That's
- 24:34Speaker 1: all you're going to see. Now, if you said, you
- 24:36Speaker 1: know what this happened, sucked, I don't like it. I
- 24:39Speaker 1: want to do something different. And you start doing something different,
- 24:42Speaker 1: it feels good. It starts raising your vibration and put
- 24:45Speaker 1: a smile on your face, and you're like, I want
- 24:47Speaker 1: more of that. I want to keep doing more of that.
- 24:49Speaker 1: We'll keep practicing and keep practicing, and keep practicing, and
- 24:53Speaker 1: then you'll see all the things that are going right,
- 24:56Speaker 1: all the things to be grateful for. You'll notice your
- 24:58Speaker 1: conversations are different. You'll notice your mindset's different. You notice
- 25:01Speaker 1: your physical body is different. You know your spiritual connection
- 25:04Speaker 1: is different. But you've got to practice what you want.
- 25:08Speaker 1: And either way is okay, because either way you're gonna
- 25:11Speaker 1: learn something if you're open to learning.
- 25:14Speaker 2: Yeah, and it's that whole story that you talked about.
- 25:18Speaker 2: It's like you can sit and talk about the stuff
- 25:20Speaker 2: from the morning, which which is another way of saying
- 25:23Speaker 2: exactly what you said and maintain that energy. Or you
- 25:26Speaker 2: can talk about that the fun you had at that
- 25:29Speaker 2: party and how uplifting and how motivational it was and
- 25:32Speaker 2: how like those that could be your conversation and it
- 25:35Speaker 2: totally don't you forget about the other stuff. It just
- 25:38Speaker 2: kind of falls away, It doesn't. It never even happens.
- 25:41Speaker 2: It's it's never even it's like, what was wrong with
- 25:43Speaker 2: you the day? Nothing? Nothing, well, I don't even remember.
- 25:48Speaker 2: But it's like I had such a great night. That's
- 25:50Speaker 2: the focus. So it's like whatever you like you were saying,
- 25:52Speaker 2: but I'm just saying in different ways or along the
- 25:55Speaker 2: same way. It's just what if you want to focus
- 25:58Speaker 2: on the good that felt that same day, the same day,
- 26:02Speaker 2: how great it felt that evening, or how it felt
- 26:04Speaker 2: that morning. It's like there are two different two different
- 26:07Speaker 2: zip codes, like it's two different sides of the planet. Yeah,
- 26:09Speaker 2: it's like it so it can be whatever you want
- 26:11Speaker 2: it to be. And like you said, there's no right
- 26:13Speaker 2: or wrong. It's not it's not good or bad either
- 26:14Speaker 2: way because either way you're gonna evolve, and it's going
- 26:16Speaker 2: to create an asking withinside of you. The nighttime was
- 26:20Speaker 2: such a blast, it's going to create an asking for more.
- 26:22Speaker 2: I want more. I'm giving more of that place. So
- 26:25Speaker 2: it's awesome.
- 26:26Speaker 1: And as she shifted that from from the whole experience
- 26:30Speaker 1: and she shifts into this joyful state, then things start
- 26:34Speaker 1: working out. Thing exactly got better and she was more
- 26:40Speaker 1: relaxed and enjoying an So I was a witness to
- 26:46Speaker 1: all of that, and it was a reminder for me.
- 26:50Speaker 1: And sometimes we need those reminders to be like, oh, okay,
- 26:55Speaker 1: I see where this is going. It's not going to
- 26:57Speaker 1: turn out well. All right, Well, how am I doing that?
- 27:01Speaker 1: How is that showing up at me? Have I been
- 27:03Speaker 1: doing it? Or it's a well if you do this,
- 27:08Speaker 1: you continue this, things snowball and it doesn't turn out well.
- 27:14Speaker 1: Am I being intentionally focused with my energy? So it
- 27:18Speaker 1: was just I don't need to have the experience. Just
- 27:22Speaker 1: seeing it and observing it, witnessing it makes me be
- 27:26Speaker 1: even better with my intentions of Okay, I can continue
- 27:31Speaker 1: with the focus of things aren't going my way, This
- 27:34Speaker 1: isn't the path I thought I was going to be
- 27:36Speaker 1: on right purpose whatever, or I can say, you know,
- 27:41Speaker 1: what I'm a trust the process at the universe, because
- 27:43Speaker 1: everything happens for a reason, and I'm here for a reason,
- 27:45Speaker 1: and I'm just going to see how this unfolds and
- 27:48Speaker 1: be intentionally focused with my energy to practice being more
- 27:51Speaker 1: in a joyful state as often as possible, and embrace
- 27:55Speaker 1: this journey and just see where it leads life. Two
- 28:01Speaker 1: different perspectives, same freaking life, two different perspectives, which one
- 28:06Speaker 1: feels better. I'm gonna trust to process the universe and
- 28:08Speaker 1: enjoy the ride, keep my hands and feet the vehicle
- 28:10Speaker 1: at all times, because it's going to be amazing.
- 28:13Speaker 2: Yes, absolutely, And it takes you from one joyful thing
- 28:18Speaker 2: to the next joyful thing.
- 28:20Speaker 1: Yeah. And the amount of people I've met, and the
- 28:24Speaker 1: journeys that they're on and the things that are happening
- 28:26Speaker 1: and the collaborations, it's just really fun to be a
- 28:29Speaker 1: part of all of it and witness it and see
- 28:32Speaker 1: things unfolding with a different perspective. So I had to
- 28:42Speaker 1: change in order to see life differently. And that's the
- 28:45Speaker 1: same for anybody listening to this or living life. You're
- 28:48Speaker 1: in a human body. If you want your world to change,
- 28:53Speaker 1: you have to change your perspective. It's true, and that's
- 28:59Speaker 1: the word.
- 29:01Speaker 2: It's a choice. I like that sea word.
- 29:09Speaker 1: I used to get frustrated with it, but now I'm like, oh,
- 29:12Speaker 1: that was my choice. That's what I chose. Here we go, Yeah,
- 29:16Speaker 1: ride this one out.
- 29:18Speaker 2: Yeah, because you become neutral to it because you've already
- 29:21Speaker 2: learned from it.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Yeah, it's a lot of fun. It is all right,
- 29:26Speaker 1: my friends, doemmi final.
- 29:28Speaker 2: Words make your life great? That's what I've got right now.
- 29:40Speaker 1: We are Amy and Bev tea Time with Amyen Bev.

- 30:20Speaker 1: because we know we are beacons of hope and we
- 30:23Speaker 1: like the journey. The path for others to know that
- 30:26Speaker 1: there is something more and something greater than ourselves that
- 30:33Speaker 1: if we choose to tap into it can be actually
- 30:36Speaker 1: very fun and playful and exhilarating. And so that is
- 30:40Speaker 1: our hope for you, is that you be and do
- 30:42Speaker 1: better within yourself so your life is better and you

- 30:56Speaker 1: co workers, people out in public. And if you don't
- 31:01Speaker 1: feel comfortable having these conversations, share the video, share the resources,
- 31:05Speaker 1: get their get their email, get find a way to
- 31:07Speaker 1: connect with them on social media so you can share
- 31:10Speaker 1: the links with them and be that be that uplifter
- 31:15Speaker 1: for others. So with that tea time with Amy and Bev,
