Emma Jane Williams Faces New Trial | Birmingham News
Emma Jane Williams, 41, faces a retrial next year after being accused of attempting to murder a child by tampering with his medication — the first trial ended in a deadlock. Appearing in court, she pleaded not guilty and was told prosecutors are pushing for a new trial set for March, though the judge is exploring an earlier January slot.
