- 0:05SPEAKER_01: Podcast.
- 0:06SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 0:06SPEAKER_04: Um God of the Sorry.
- 0:10SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 0:11SPEAKER_04: Um off to our rocky start.
- 0:14SPEAKER_04: Um we're two moms.
- 0:16SPEAKER_04: Two sisters.
- 0:17SPEAKER_04: We're two kids.
- 0:18SPEAKER_04: Full of shit.
- 0:19SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 0:19SPEAKER_04: Perfect.
- 0:20SPEAKER_04: Um, welcome.
- 0:22SPEAKER_04: Let's lock in.
- 0:24SPEAKER_04: Anyway, this is recording's always chaotic because if it wasn't, then it would be too weird.
- 0:32SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 0:33SPEAKER_04: I think that's how that goes.
- 0:36SPEAKER_01: Anywho.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: We hope you're having a great day.
- 0:39SPEAKER_01: We hope that you're enjoying our start so far.
- 0:41SPEAKER_01: Uh happy Halloween.
- 0:44SPEAKER_04: This is Halloween.
- 0:45SPEAKER_04: Or it should be close whenever this is out.
- 0:49SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we've got to keep that in mind though.
- 0:51SPEAKER_01: Happy Halloween.
- 0:53SPEAKER_01: Or early Halloween.
- 0:55SPEAKER_01: Because I don't think we we're gonna be able to record from Pittsburgh.
- 0:58SPEAKER_04: No.
- 0:58SPEAKER_04: Happy early Halloween.
- 1:01SPEAKER_04: Yay, Rocky.
- 1:04SPEAKER_04: Um, okay.
- 1:08SPEAKER_01: You said what you wanted to talk about.
- 1:10SPEAKER_04: Okay, let's talk about.
- 1:14SPEAKER_04: In last episode, I talked about how masks were make were men's makeup.
- 1:22SPEAKER_04: I seen a TikTok about that and I want to talk about it.
- 1:26SPEAKER_04: And I said, of course you don't.
- 1:27SPEAKER_04: And I said, the dark romance girlies would know.
- 1:32SPEAKER_04: Um let me apparently clarify that for those who don't read.
- 1:40SPEAKER_01: Especially dark romance?
- 1:42SPEAKER_01: Only a lot of people.
- 1:42SPEAKER_04: Well, okay, and there's some that see, I don't I don't do the whole fantasy thing.
- 1:46SPEAKER_04: Like the most fantasy book I've read is Twilight.
- 1:49SPEAKER_04: Like to keep it real.
- 1:51SPEAKER_03: I still don't know.
- 1:52SPEAKER_03: Have you ever read Lights Out?
- 1:55SPEAKER_04: No.
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: Don't.
- 1:57SPEAKER_04: Without going into too much detail, because I don't want to get this taken down because it is a crazy book.
- 2:03SPEAKER_04: Um, so this girl, and I'm just recap.
- 2:06SPEAKER_04: Spoiler alert for Lights Out by Nevessa Allen.
- 2:11SPEAKER_04: Um, it's about this girl who you know mask talk on TikTok.
- 2:17SPEAKER_04: Different side of TikTok than you.
- 2:19SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 2:19SPEAKER_04: Well, it's where these guys wear like ghost face mask or um like other types of mask.
- 2:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and they're like shirtless and it's like a thirst trap.
- 2:31SPEAKER_04: Nope.
- 2:32unknown: Okay.
- 2:33SPEAKER_04: So this girl is on mask talk.
- 2:35SPEAKER_04: Well, I just explained what it is, and she doesn't know who this guy is, and his name is Josh.
- 2:41SPEAKER_04: Well, and she's just kind of like a like a super fan of his, like on TikTok or whatever, and like she likes and comments or whatever.
- 2:49SPEAKER_04: And so she has this talking stage, his name is Tyler, and he has this roommate named Josh, and she doesn't know that the masked talk dude is actually Josh.
- 3:03SPEAKER_04: Um, and her and Tyler don't talk anymore, and this the Josh guy finds out that she's like a super fan, and he stalks her consensually.
- 3:15SPEAKER_04: Like she likes it.
- 3:17SPEAKER_04: Like stalks her, like puts cameras in her house and like breaks in her house.
- 3:24SPEAKER_04: Like stalks her on her security cameras at work.
- 3:27SPEAKER_04: He's like a master hacker type thing.
- 3:29SPEAKER_04: It's a really good book.
- 3:30SPEAKER_04: It's now it's it's crazy.
- 3:32SPEAKER_04: No, it is cra is it smut that.
- 3:36SPEAKER_04: Um he stabs a knife in her mat oh, I probably shouldn't have.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: In her mat it's in a mattress, not her.
- 3:42SPEAKER_04: Oh, but I know, but he said that.
- 3:44SPEAKER_04: Oh, well, he with a sharp object in the mattress and makes her up.
- 3:51SPEAKER_01: I want to throw up.
- 3:53SPEAKER_01: I'm so uncomfortable.
- 3:54SPEAKER_04: Yeah, whenever because I listen, I like to listen to audiobooks, and I have like the physical copy, but I like to listen to audiobooks.
- 4:01SPEAKER_04: Whenever that part came out, I was like, I was clinching my pearls.
- 4:05SPEAKER_04: I was like, yo.
- 4:06SPEAKER_04: And I read all three books of the series.
- 4:08SPEAKER_04: You didn't clinch your pearls hard enough then?
- 4:11SPEAKER_04: No.
- 4:12SPEAKER_04: Um, and the last one was a little weird.
- 4:14SPEAKER_04: It was a little weird, and that one just came out, so I'm not gonna spoil it.
- 4:17SPEAKER_04: It's called Game On by Novessa Allen.
- 4:19SPEAKER_04: That one was a little crazy.
- 4:21SPEAKER_04: That one was a little crazy.
- 4:22SPEAKER_04: I wouldn't know.
- 4:23SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that one I wanna hear, I don't want to read smoking.
- 4:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah, the most crazy you've gotten what?
- 4:27SPEAKER_04: 50 Shades of Gray?
- 4:28unknown: Yeah.
- 4:30SPEAKER_04: It's as wild as it gets.
- 4:32SPEAKER_04: Anyways, but I think that's what the whole makeup for men thing is, because you can make a man wear a mask, which is kind of fucked up now that I think about it.
- 4:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because like that's like putting like a paper bag over a woman.
- 4:44SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 4:44SPEAKER_04: Like that is so mean.
- 4:46SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's like butterface.
- 4:48SPEAKER_04: Like that okay, I take that back, man.
- 4:50SPEAKER_04: I'm I'm really sorry.
- 4:52SPEAKER_04: That's kind of fucked up.
- 4:53SPEAKER_04: Well, which I mean, some men are like gladly do that for their women, and some women are like, I eat that up.
- 4:59SPEAKER_04: Now, if why if Wyatt walked into our room with a mask on, I'd probably be like, yo.
- 5:04SPEAKER_04: I'd be like, okay.
- 5:09SPEAKER_03: I'd be like, yo.
- 5:11SPEAKER_03: Take it off.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: If Derek walked in with a mask on, I'd be like, Jason mask.
- 5:15SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: I know.
- 5:16SPEAKER_01: I'm like, you're such an idiot.
- 5:19SPEAKER_01: It's just yeah.
- 5:21SPEAKER_04: Does Wyatt never tell you dad jokes?
- 5:23SPEAKER_04: No, why it's not funny.
- 5:25SPEAKER_04: Well, Derek isn't either, but No, but Wyatt doesn't even try to be funny.
- 5:29SPEAKER_04: I I carry the the wits of both.
- 5:32SPEAKER_01: I get I always get like random dad jokes sent to me.
- 5:37SPEAKER_01: And I have like two guy friends at work.
- 5:39SPEAKER_01: Oh.
- 5:40SPEAKER_01: That are dads too.
- 5:42SPEAKER_01: And so usually I'd I I read it and my face is like this.
- 5:47SPEAKER_01: Ha.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And then so I go over and I'll tell my my friends at my two friends at work, and they just giggle just as hard as I imagine Derek's giggling at them.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: And they're the dumbest of things.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: The last one he sent was something like, um, do not touch is probably one of the scariest things for someone to read and braille.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: See?
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: See?
- 6:15SPEAKER_01: Get that hit about how I thought it was.
- 6:19SPEAKER_01: And then my friends at work were like, that's good.
- 6:24SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, I hate you all.
- 6:27SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 6:29SPEAKER_04: Um, I read a lot of smuddy books.
- 6:33SPEAKER_04: I don't.
- 6:34SPEAKER_04: I do.
- 6:35SPEAKER_04: Um, I'm reading a Michael Jackson book.
- 6:38SPEAKER_04: That's about it.
- 6:40SPEAKER_04: No, I love I love reading books in general.
- 6:43SPEAKER_01: Uh we've already talked about this.
- 6:44SPEAKER_01: I have to have like literally complete silence to read, and that never happens in my house.
- 6:48SPEAKER_04: So Well, I like to listen to audiobooks because when I'm like, I'm doing the dishes or doing laundry or something, it really helps.
- 6:54SPEAKER_04: Um, like I had no joke, no joke, like seven loads of laundry to fold whenever off campus came out.
- 6:59SPEAKER_04: You've not seen that, I think we've talked about that.
- 7:02SPEAKER_04: Um, good show.
- 7:03SPEAKER_04: Um, and I sat there and I watched that entire series while folding that load of laundry, like those loads of laundry, and I looked at it and I'm like, whoa, I can't believe I did that.
- 7:10SPEAKER_04: And it was kind of mesmerizing.
- 7:13SPEAKER_01: I'm not gonna confess this to Derek, but it is getting a little chilly in here.
- 7:18SPEAKER_01: I was thinking the same thing.
- 7:21SPEAKER_01: Um I was thinking the same thing.
- 7:24SPEAKER_01: I mean, I guess he'll hear and when he hears this and he'll be like, I knew it.
- 7:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, it's getting a little chilly.
- 7:30SPEAKER_02: I got goosebumps.
- 7:32SPEAKER_02: I got chicken skin.
- 7:33SPEAKER_02: I need to cover my leg.
- 7:34SPEAKER_02: Yeah, ooh.
- 7:35SPEAKER_04: Um I yeah, I love reading.
- 7:39SPEAKER_04: The first smut book I ever got was in Pittsburgh.
- 7:42SPEAKER_01: At that Barnes and Noble, I've been.
- 7:44SPEAKER_04: Let me tell you, the best Barnes and Noble I've ever been in is the one in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at the waterfront.
- 7:50SPEAKER_04: Um, I go into it every year and I walk out with the book every single year.
- 7:54SPEAKER_04: But I was around seventh grade.
- 7:57SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because you guys weren't paying attention to what I was buying.
- 8:00SPEAKER_04: You're just like, okay, here's the money.
- 8:02SPEAKER_01: Um, I it wasn't up to me.
- 8:04SPEAKER_01: It was up to your mama.
- 8:05SPEAKER_04: Well, I was in like seventh grade and it was a football, funny enough, it was a football romance for one.
- 8:12SPEAKER_04: One of the best books I've ever written or I've ever read.
- 8:16SPEAKER_04: I dumb forgot what it was called.
- 8:17SPEAKER_04: I'll remember it.
- 8:18SPEAKER_04: Didn't you write a smut book?
- 8:21SPEAKER_04: I wrote several books, yes.
- 8:25SPEAKER_04: Interesting.
- 8:26SPEAKER_04: I wrote several romance books, yeah.
- 8:28SPEAKER_04: They're just waiting to be published.
- 8:29SPEAKER_01: I just know because I've seen the visuals on my Canva.
- 8:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 8:35SPEAKER_01: I let her do my canvas.
- 8:37SPEAKER_04: I have to do a mood, so I I write and I'm hoping to publish a book by the end of this year.
- 8:43SPEAKER_04: Fun fact.
- 8:44SPEAKER_04: Um, and I have to get like a mood board to kind of like visualize.
- 8:49SPEAKER_04: Okay, that's like, and I've said this before, I like to watch the movies before reading a book because I like to visualize the characters.
- 8:56SPEAKER_04: And now I read the book and then I'm pissed because why is half the book missing from this movie?
- 9:01SPEAKER_04: The good parts.
- 9:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, like the really good parts.
- 9:04SPEAKER_04: Um, so I like to visualize, so I have to make mood boards, so sorry.
- 9:08SPEAKER_01: I have to make Yeah, because what's funny is I use my Canva a lot for work.
- 9:14SPEAKER_01: And so I open up my Canva at work, and I've got two big screens at my desk, and I'm like, whoop!
- 9:21SPEAKER_04: I have to make that ones that's my sorry guys.
- 9:24SPEAKER_01: So then I go into my phone first to open up a new thing.
- 9:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah, me man.
- 9:30SPEAKER_04: I love Canva.
- 9:32SPEAKER_04: That's why like I don't see the excuse in AI stuff because Canva is so easy to use.
- 9:38SPEAKER_01: I told you I don't make it.
- 9:40SPEAKER_01: I just use the ones that other people have already made.
- 9:43SPEAKER_04: I think that the AI posters are tacky, especially hold on, especially if they are menus.
- 9:49SPEAKER_04: Because what do you mean you can't just stick a picture of your like actual product on your like that's crazy.
- 9:57SPEAKER_04: And people are like, well, you know, people don't have that type of time.
- 10:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, there's this one uh local I guess drink person that does it all the time.
- 10:11SPEAKER_01: Tell me later.
- 10:12SPEAKER_04: Tell me later.
- 10:12SPEAKER_04: We can't name up someone's business, and that's crazy.
- 10:15SPEAKER_04: But you can tell me later.
- 10:16SPEAKER_04: Because I think I have an idea.
- 10:18SPEAKER_01: I think you know, because they're in Mount Erie.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: So you probably already know.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: But yeah, I think I do.
- 10:25SPEAKER_01: They use it for everything.
- 10:27SPEAKER_03: And are my tags been everything?
- 10:29SPEAKER_03: Yes.
- 10:31SPEAKER_04: I think their logo's even AI.
- 10:33SPEAKER_04: It is.
- 10:34SPEAKER_04: Yep.
- 10:36SPEAKER_04: Um, it's i yeah.
- 10:39SPEAKER_04: Like, I don't know.
- 10:40SPEAKER_04: I just I think it's really tacky.
- 10:42SPEAKER_04: Um, especially yeah, like I said, especially menus.
- 10:47SPEAKER_01: Because I want to see the actual food because that sometimes will sway my decision.
- 10:53SPEAKER_04: Well, and some people do it for like um like events and stuff, and that's one thing.
- 10:58SPEAKER_04: I mean, whatever, but it's like I hate it when it's menu because I know that AI like enhances the quality or something.
- 11:04SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 11:05SPEAKER_04: So like you're living like an expectations versus reality meme.
- 11:10SPEAKER_05: Yeah.
- 11:11SPEAKER_04: Like I'm seeing this drink and it's in this really cool cup with like smoke coming out, but you just hand me a red solo with like Minute Made.
- 11:19SPEAKER_04: Like that's crazy.
- 11:21SPEAKER_04: But yeah, I I'm not a huge AI lover, honestly.
- 11:26SPEAKER_01: I mean, I use it sometimes like at work and stuff because it helps me in Excel, because in my previous job, my role was to get us out of Excel and into a business intelligence platform, and then here where I currently work, they're like the opposite.
- 11:42SPEAKER_01: We do so much freaking Excel work.
- 11:44SPEAKER_01: So I'm not super comfortable with a lot of the different form formulas and stuff that we need, and so I'll use Copilot and like it'll help me with that, and that's really helpful, but um but like our our wood signs and stuff, we design those from scratch, the banners that we used to paint.
- 12:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I always went and did a mock-up, and obviously I have a boutique and then I've done several other things.
- 12:10SPEAKER_04: Um I've even made a like a banner for an event that I was a part of for free because I mean I have the time and everything I make Yeah, my logo was made by me.
- 12:22SPEAKER_04: Like Yeah, regarding my business is always a hundred percent me.
- 12:26SPEAKER_01: But occasionally one of the other Hammer and Stains has made an AI poster for a product that I'm getting ready to to release for a workshop, and I'm like, dang, I really just need to go ahead and get this posted, so I'll just take theirs and use it.
- 12:39SPEAKER_01: I mean, I include real pictures too, but like sometimes that main picture Yeah, like for your goosey stuff.
- 12:46SPEAKER_04: Um, which I mean, you know, I'm just not a huge fan.
- 12:50SPEAKER_04: I don't think that it's good for the environment, but you know, I I don't think that it's going away, unfortunately.
- 12:57SPEAKER_04: So I think it's just one of them things that you just kinda have to suck up because everybody didn't like when Siri and Alexa came along and all this other stuff.
- 13:06SPEAKER_01: They do always be listening though.
- 13:08SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's kind of weird.
- 13:09SPEAKER_04: Which and now like the Apple now has a thing where if you download a new app, it'll be like, hey, do you allow like everything to sync and whatever?
- 13:18SPEAKER_04: And most of the time I press not like don't allow.
- 13:22SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:23SPEAKER_01: Because I don't want to Well, I was watching some TikTok the other day and he said that he was watching his wife in his child's room with a baby monitor, and you know how the baby monitors are like infrared or whatever.
- 13:35SPEAKER_01: Now those have been weird.
- 13:36SPEAKER_01: No, but that's not even the weird part.
- 13:38SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: She was like doom scrolling on her phone while she was in there.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:42SPEAKER_01: And uh he could see the camera taking pictures every so often while she was doom scrolling.
- 13:49SPEAKER_04: Well, now listen, in Apple where they do like the face ID or whatever, it it it'll show that But see she already got into the phone.
- 13:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but it's keeps going.
- 13:59SPEAKER_01: He was like, So what were you doing?
- 14:00SPEAKER_01: Like were you talking to Sally?
- 14:02SPEAKER_01: Were you taking pictures?
- 14:03SPEAKER_01: She's like, No, I was just scrolling.
- 14:05SPEAKER_04: Which in yeah, I mean some okay, for instance, like my headlights, if like they're on like a video thing, they kind of like blink.
- 14:14SPEAKER_04: I don't think that it's them taking pictures.
- 14:16SPEAKER_04: I don't think it's anything like that.
- 14:18SPEAKER_04: I do know that the camera is always on.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: Well, supposedly it's something like that businesses will use like as you scroll past their product, if they'll determine like or Facebook or whatever will use it and then like do you like like your facial expression while you're looking at that product?
- 14:35SPEAKER_01: Like if it's like a then they're probably not gonna show it to you again.
- 14:39SPEAKER_01: But if you like, you know, look intrigued by it, then they'll probably keep showing it to you.
- 14:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 14:45SPEAKER_01: It's kind of weird.
- 14:46SPEAKER_04: I mean, but it's not it it's not anything it honest to God with ha and I don't like to talk really about this, but but honestly, with how the world's going, that's like the least thing.
- 14:58SPEAKER_01: I mean, you ain't gonna see much of nothing with me anyway.
- 15:01SPEAKER_01: I mean I'm doing anything interesting.
- 15:04SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean it's not anything that I'm like, oh my god, uh the technology's taking over.
- 15:10SPEAKER_04: I seen a robot dog the other day.
- 15:12SPEAKER_04: We have bigger fish to fry.
- 15:15SPEAKER_04: We have bigger fish to fry.
- 15:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 15:18SPEAKER_01: But I mean, it is what it is.
- 15:20SPEAKER_01: There are bigger things in the world to worry about.
- 15:22SPEAKER_04: Well, like it's just I mean, it's just one of them things.
- 15:25SPEAKER_04: But we don't like to talk about stuff like that on this podcast because this is a spot for good and we all already know all the bad that's going on in the world.
- 15:32SPEAKER_04: So yeah.
- 15:34SPEAKER_04: Um, anyways, yeah, baby monitors are weird.
- 15:37SPEAKER_04: Like, I think they're kind of paranormal-y, but I'm also a paranormal fanatic.
- 15:42SPEAKER_01: Well, uh, about every horror movie you see though, that there's always something going on in a baby monitor.
- 15:47SPEAKER_04: Which, and you know that even so Well you had that weird example.
- 15:51SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 15:51SPEAKER_04: And ours is like a no Wi-Fi type of baby monitor.
- 15:56SPEAKER_04: And which my house, my house is a little haunted.
- 15:59SPEAKER_04: I ain't even gonna lie.
- 16:00SPEAKER_04: And people can be like ghost ain't real, whatever.
- 16:02SPEAKER_04: I don't care what you believe in.
- 16:04SPEAKER_04: I know what I seen and what I heard, and I know what other people have seen, and what other people have heard, and I'm just going off about that.
- 16:10SPEAKER_04: Um, but there was one yes, and I totally forgot about that dude that gives me chills every time.
- 16:15SPEAKER_04: So I obviously I I'm at home alone with my two kids during the week.
- 16:19SPEAKER_04: And um, I was yeah, are you talking about the time I was laying in bed and I heard somebody?
- 16:25SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 16:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 16:26SPEAKER_04: Well, there's so much shit has happened.
- 16:28SPEAKER_04: It's so like meh.
- 16:30SPEAKER_04: Um, and I kind of hope that my landlady hi is watching this because like they've had experiences with it in the past.
- 16:38SPEAKER_04: But I was laying in bed and I do scroll real bad.
- 16:41SPEAKER_04: And this was a time where I like laid my phone down.
- 16:44SPEAKER_04: I had to get up early the next morning, and I had my baby monitor on, my kit my two kids' chair room.
- 16:48SPEAKER_04: And I had sorry, I had to readjust.
- 16:52SPEAKER_04: Um, and I had the baby monitor appointed, and I'm laying there and I hear a woman talking, and I'm like, okay, I I left the freaking living room TV on.
- 17:05SPEAKER_04: Like, and then I'm like, no, I didn't.
- 17:09SPEAKER_04: No, I didn't.
- 17:10SPEAKER_04: Because I can look down like my hallway from my bed, the TV's not on.
- 17:14SPEAKER_04: And I can hear a woman talking, like full-on talking.
- 17:20SPEAKER_04: Ew.
- 17:21SPEAKER_04: And I was like, dude, like I'm tweaking, like I'm I need to walk in, I'm tweaking.
- 17:26SPEAKER_04: And then it came across my baby monitor.
- 17:29SPEAKER_04: And like it's like any other baby monitor, like, you can see like the sound frequencies or whatever.
- 17:34SPEAKER_04: Um, and you could see it going up, and I'm like, yo.
- 17:40SPEAKER_04: And it just I don't mess with it.
- 17:44SPEAKER_04: You okay?
- 17:46SPEAKER_04: I'm fine today.
- 17:48SPEAKER_04: Take five.
- 17:49SPEAKER_04: Um, yeah, but I have all types of scary shit that that be happening.
- 17:53SPEAKER_04: Um especially with the freaking Yeah.
- 17:59SPEAKER_04: It's just yeah, it was really freaky.
- 18:01SPEAKER_04: I thought there was a man one time.
- 18:03SPEAKER_04: It was there was a man one time.
- 18:05SPEAKER_04: Um, there was one time where Wyatt and I, I forgot if we were if it was at night laying in bed or if we were standing in the kitchen.
- 18:13SPEAKER_04: But if you come through our back door, right there's our washer and dryer.
- 18:18SPEAKER_04: Are you alright?
- 18:20SPEAKER_04: My eyes are watering.
- 18:21SPEAKER_04: I see.
- 18:23SPEAKER_04: Um, and well, we were either s standing in the kitchen or I'm sorry, I can't help it.
- 18:32SPEAKER_00: I'm sick.
- 18:33SPEAKER_04: And um why it's wallet flew off the the washer.
- 18:38SPEAKER_04: And we've woken up, the cabinets have been opened, there's been men talking.
- 18:43SPEAKER_04: There will occasionally be, because I mean, we always leave our door open in case my daughter, who's in toddler, like wants to come and lay in the bed with me.
- 18:51SPEAKER_04: There's been times we've heard her run down the hallway and she's asleep.
- 18:55SPEAKER_04: Like I've literally had to get up because I thought she was getting up asleep.
- 19:01SPEAKER_00: I don't be effing with that.
- 19:03SPEAKER_04: No.
- 19:03SPEAKER_04: I I mean it's I'm sorry.
- 19:10SPEAKER_04: But yeah, stuff like that happens all the time.
- 19:12SPEAKER_01: I mean, I wake up and my cabinet doors are open, but that's just because stupid cats got in there.
- 19:16SPEAKER_04: No, and it's I mean, it is so freaking scary.
- 19:20SPEAKER_04: It is so scary.
- 19:22SPEAKER_04: And I mean, my dad's house was haunted.
- 19:26SPEAKER_04: Like real shit.
- 19:27SPEAKER_04: My dad's house is haunted.
- 19:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 19:32SPEAKER_01: See, that's what's so scary about moving into like established homes versus like a new home.
- 19:38SPEAKER_01: But I don't know because when we were building our house in Ohio, we saw like It's the land.
- 19:44SPEAKER_01: We saw people running.
- 19:46SPEAKER_04: This is such a good topic because soon is Halloween.
- 19:49SPEAKER_04: Or Halloween might be like literally literally in a couple days when we're putting this out.
- 19:54SPEAKER_01: But yeah, we would see like we would see like people running by the windows, and there was nobody out there.
- 20:00SPEAKER_04: I'm gonna poop my pants.
- 20:01SPEAKER_04: That is and it is and as much as like the horror fanatic that I am, and like if we go to a new city, I love to like do the paranormal tours or whatnot, um, it is it scares, it scares the shit out of me.
- 20:14SPEAKER_01: And there was one time at the house in Ceylon, you were too little to remember it, but I was laying in mom's bedroom, like her bed was maybe like four feet away from the bathroom door, and I was just laying there, I was literally in the house by myself, and the dang door handle went and I was like, I took off running.
- 20:33SPEAKER_04: Now mom sell a lot of stuff by the house as home.
- 20:36SPEAKER_01: I took off running.
- 20:37SPEAKER_04: Mm-mm.
- 20:38SPEAKER_01: Oh fuck with that.
- 20:38SPEAKER_04: I went running.
- 20:39SPEAKER_04: Well, there was this one time where I was at my dad's house and he had the linoleum, you know, the linoleum floors.
- 20:45SPEAKER_04: Um, and I was there home alone, like they were out doing something.
- 20:48SPEAKER_04: I think it was like a ball game or something, and I was there home alone.
- 20:51SPEAKER_04: I was literally on FaceTime with Wyatt, and I was sitting on the couch, and how my dad he has the like split home.
- 20:57SPEAKER_04: So um I was sitting, I was sitting on the couch talking to Wyatt, like the TV was paused and everything, and I literally heard wet feet on the linoleum.
- 21:08SPEAKER_04: Wet where it like sticks walking on the wet on the linoleum floor.
- 21:17SPEAKER_01: It was terrifying.
- 21:19SPEAKER_01: And then there was another time at the house in Salon, and that our house was new to us there.
- 21:25SPEAKER_01: We got a double eye to put it on the land there.
- 21:27SPEAKER_01: But uh there was times where I would go into the bathroom and like flip the light switch and it just wouldn't come on.
- 21:39SPEAKER_04: Did you have a Clayton home?
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: No, I don't think so.
- 21:45SPEAKER_01: But it would work like during the day.
- 21:47SPEAKER_04: It was always like nine it was like the 1990 Clayton Home, so that was like a good Clayton home.
- 21:52SPEAKER_01: It was all yeah, and we made sure like we had like legit drywall and everything in our house.
- 21:57SPEAKER_04: I've heard really bad things about them now.
- 21:59SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we're
- 22:00SPEAKER_04: Spooky.
- 22:01SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we didn't uh we didn't do like the normal double eye.
- 22:05SPEAKER_01: We got all the upgrades and stuff to make it like an actual house versus the traditional typical hand through the wall because it's like wallpaper.
- 22:13SPEAKER_01: Like what's in mine?
- 22:14SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 22:16SPEAKER_01: But uh yeah, so it would only happen at night.
- 22:18SPEAKER_01: It wouldn't happen like during the day where you go in there and it'd only be at night when it's already freaking dark.
- 22:24SPEAKER_04: Ew, and it's scary over there.
- 22:26SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 22:27SPEAKER_01: And it was my bathroom.
- 22:28SPEAKER_01: And so my bedroom had and like a bathroom that was attached to it, but the bathroom also had a door to the hallway.
- 22:36SPEAKER_01: And so I was like terrified, man.
- 22:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I don't know.
- 22:41SPEAKER_01: I I didn't even go use the bathroom.
- 22:42SPEAKER_01: I just I got out.
- 22:43SPEAKER_04: No, I I would have done shit my pants.
- 22:47SPEAKER_04: No, but I mean uh yeah, my dad's house was a scary ass house.
- 22:51SPEAKER_04: Um don't fuck with it.
- 22:54SPEAKER_01: I unfortunately have not had any experiences that I can recall at our current house.
- 23:01SPEAKER_04: Your house is scary as fuck.
- 23:03SPEAKER_04: Why?
- 23:04SPEAKER_04: I've all I've had some experiences at your house.
- 23:06SPEAKER_04: Don't tell me about it.
- 23:07SPEAKER_04: Okay.
- 23:08SPEAKER_03: Because I have not.
- 23:09SPEAKER_04: I have.
- 23:10SPEAKER_04: I thought that you knew that.
- 23:13SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 23:14SPEAKER_03: No, and I don't want to know.
- 23:16SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 23:17SPEAKER_04: Because I'm there alone a lot.
- 23:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's scary as fuck.
- 23:21SPEAKER_04: Maybe it's just because it's bigger though.
- 23:23SPEAKER_01: No, I don't know.
- 23:25SPEAKER_01: Well, half the time I just write off most of the sounds is either the dog or the house settling.
- 23:30SPEAKER_01: No, the dogs are the cat.
- 23:33SPEAKER_04: This was before the cat.
- 23:35SPEAKER_01: Well, now it's anytime you hear anything, it's usually the freaking cat.
- 23:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, scary as hell.
- 23:42SPEAKER_04: But I'm thinking maybe it's a me problem.
- 23:44SPEAKER_00: I think it may be.
- 23:45SPEAKER_04: I really do think that's a problem.
- 23:46SPEAKER_00: It's because you watch all those weird shit.
- 23:49SPEAKER_00: Jesus in the morning.
- 23:50SPEAKER_00: You invite that type of I do not.
- 23:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 23:55SPEAKER_03: No, I don't.
- 23:56SPEAKER_03: I I am very closed going to all these.
- 23:59SPEAKER_03: Spiritually, I am spiritually closed.
- 24:01SPEAKER_03: You cannot follow me.
- 24:02SPEAKER_03: Going to all these real life horror locations.
- 24:06SPEAKER_04: So I did go to the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum on the way home from Pittsburgh one time.
- 24:11SPEAKER_04: And we did a didn't you go more than one time?
- 24:14SPEAKER_04: Yeah, but this was the time we went in and done a ghost tour, like the during the day ghost tours, which are really cool.
- 24:19SPEAKER_01: Um and there's no elevators there, just in case anybody's wondering.
- 24:23SPEAKER_01: Because my cousin then said she ain't going.
- 24:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah, they are not very handy.
- 24:26SPEAKER_04: Because they, I mean, there's not really a place to put them.
- 24:28SPEAKER_03: Well, I mean, I understand that, but so it's not really handy cap.
- 24:32SPEAKER_04: But it's like three stories, right?
- 24:34SPEAKER_04: It's like yeah, it's like four stories.
- 24:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 24:37SPEAKER_04: And the it's it's I don't know, it's weird.
- 24:39SPEAKER_04: It's cool though.
- 24:40SPEAKER_04: I'd be huffing.
- 24:41SPEAKER_04: But um, in the children's ward, me and White were standing there talking to the yeah.
- 24:47SPEAKER_04: That place was scary.
- 24:49SPEAKER_04: That place was scary, scary.
- 24:52SPEAKER_04: And I felt somebody grab my like I felt somebody like gently grab my hand.
- 24:57SPEAKER_04: And apparently that's really common.
- 24:58SPEAKER_04: It's like just the kids or whatever.
- 25:00SPEAKER_04: And I was like, yo.
- 25:01SPEAKER_04: Because I thought White had like, or because Adele was a baby, she was like maybe 10 months old.
- 25:05SPEAKER_04: So I thought that White had grabbed my hand though.
- 25:09SPEAKER_01: I think one of the weirdest things I felt at m at our current house is like I was laying there and it felt kind of like somebody put their hand on the bed.
- 25:17SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 25:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah, your house is scary as hell.
- 25:21SPEAKER_01: But I just wrote it off as something with the mattress.
- 25:24SPEAKER_04: You need a new you need a new mattress.
- 25:26SPEAKER_01: Don't say that because Derek's been wanting me to get a new mattress, and I'm like, no, he's like, LaDon, we've literally had this for like 15 years.
- 25:34SPEAKER_01: Yes, he's like, it's a 15-year-old mattress, but it's got it's it's like settled.
- 25:39SPEAKER_01: There's literally like a little divot where like falling in where your butt is.
- 25:44SPEAKER_04: It's like falling in.
- 25:45SPEAKER_01: It's probably not.
- 25:46SPEAKER_01: It's probably why my back hurts all the time.
- 25:49SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 25:51SPEAKER_01: But then when we were away for like a week and a half, it felt so good getting back in that bed.
- 25:56SPEAKER_04: I bet it did.
- 25:58SPEAKER_04: But no, I've I've had so many freaking crazy paranormal experiences.
- 26:03SPEAKER_04: It's kind of insane.
- 26:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I'm starting to think it's a me problem.
- 26:05SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I think so too.
- 26:07SPEAKER_04: But no, I'm spiritually haven't you done a Ouija board?
- 26:10SPEAKER_04: No.
- 26:11SPEAKER_04: I wanted to, but then it's like I no, it's like I want to, but I I don't fuck with that.
- 26:15SPEAKER_04: Because there was like a well, what if it's not real?
- 26:17SPEAKER_04: But then it's like, what if it is?
- 26:19SPEAKER_04: And so I just can't.
- 26:20SPEAKER_04: I just can't cross that boundary.
- 26:21SPEAKER_01: Wasn't Derek the one that talked you off that cliff?
- 26:23SPEAKER_04: I I I think so.
- 26:25SPEAKER_03: Yeah.
- 26:26SPEAKER_03: I just can't.
- 26:26SPEAKER_03: We're not.
- 26:27SPEAKER_03: I just can't.
- 26:28SPEAKER_04: Because like, there's like a nah, it might not be real, but then it's like, okay, what if it is?
- 26:32SPEAKER_04: And like, what if like you get possessed or something?
- 26:34SPEAKER_04: And then there I go.
- 26:37SPEAKER_01: There was this girl, again, at the apartments in Ohio that we lived in for a little bit.
- 26:42SPEAKER_04: I'm starting to but Ohio's a scary ass state, but we'll get into that.
- 26:46SPEAKER_01: Well, she was apparently into like witchy stuff, and she like tried to get me involved in like this witchy stuff, like you know, the light as a feather, stiff as a board type thing.
- 26:56SPEAKER_01: I mean, nothing scary.
- 26:58SPEAKER_01: Nothing ever happened, but it is scary.
- 27:00SPEAKER_01: And it was at that moment I realized she's kind of creepy, and I kind of distanced myself from her.
- 27:04SPEAKER_04: Was she did she live like alone, or was she like your age?
- 27:07SPEAKER_01: She was like a couple years older than me, and she lived like our apartment was on this side, her apartment was on the opposite side, so we look we like shared a wall.
- 27:17SPEAKER_03: So was she just living by herself?
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: No, she was she had parents.
- 27:22SPEAKER_03: Oh, I forget that you were very young.
- 27:24SPEAKER_03: You lived in Ohio.
- 27:25SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 27:26SPEAKER_01: I was like 11.
- 27:27SPEAKER_04: No, I I cut me off spiritually from anything that can attach themselves to me.
- 27:31SPEAKER_04: I made sure that they'd be like, hey, you can't follow me.
- 27:34SPEAKER_04: I got Jesus in my heart.
- 27:36SPEAKER_04: And then if you if you're like, hey, you can't follow me, they're like, man.
- 27:40SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what they do.
- 27:41SPEAKER_01: Ghostbusted, you know.
- 27:42SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's what they do.
- 27:43SPEAKER_04: No, but I really do think that for one, I think that there is something connected at my dad's house, because that place is That place is fucking terrifying.
- 27:56SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna be real.
- 27:57SPEAKER_04: That place is fucking terrifying.
- 27:59SPEAKER_04: Um, I think that there's something like weird with me.
- 28:03SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 28:04SPEAKER_04: I've seen a lot of unexplainable shit.
- 28:06SPEAKER_01: I feel like it's a lot of a you problem.
- 28:09SPEAKER_01: I don't know though.
- 28:10SPEAKER_01: Didn't you like see somebody?
- 28:12SPEAKER_04: What you some?
- 28:15SPEAKER_01: God, there's more than once.
- 28:17SPEAKER_04: Like we're at my current residence?
- 28:18SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 28:19SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 28:21SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
- 28:22SPEAKER_04: Even why and how I know I'm not crazy is why it's seen it.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's crazy.
- 28:26SPEAKER_04: Or I'll randomly hear like bluegrass music.
- 28:28SPEAKER_04: And apparently.
- 28:30SPEAKER_04: Oh not not the bluegrass.
- 28:32SPEAKER_04: The bluegrass, like, oh Osborne brothers type blue.
- 28:36SPEAKER_04: And the thing is, apparently uh I was just thinking more deliverance type of thing.
- 28:40SPEAKER_04: Deliverance.
- 28:42SPEAKER_01: Oh, this age gap.
- 28:45SPEAKER_04: No, well, so I have a neighbor which is coincidentally my landlord's mom, who's also my landlord, it's a whole thing.
- 28:51SPEAKER_04: She's really nice.
- 28:53SPEAKER_04: Um, well, they've been known to like hear like violins in the woods and shit.
- 28:58SPEAKER_04: Like around there.
- 28:59SPEAKER_04: That's just crazy.
- 29:00SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 29:01SPEAKER_04: And there'll be times where I'll see something like peek around the corner and I'm like, yeah.
- 29:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's just wild.
- 29:07SPEAKER_04: And there was a long time where Adalie would wake up at like like 2 or 3 a.m.
- 29:12SPEAKER_04: and stand up in her crib and just talk to people.
- 29:15SPEAKER_01: Nope, not doing that.
- 29:18SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I mean, I've seen a lot of and that's why I'm like I'm not really a skeptic because I've seen so much unexplainable shit.
- 29:27SPEAKER_01: Yeah, my dad used to tell me a bunch of scary stuff all the time.
- 29:30SPEAKER_01: And then and then wonder My dad used to tell me a bunch of scary shit all the time.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yo.
- 29:34SPEAKER_01: And then wonder why I I had to sleep with my mom at 19 years old after I watched Paranormal Activity.
- 29:40SPEAKER_04: Paranormal Activity is scary, and we've talked about that before.
- 29:42SPEAKER_04: That's a scary ass movie.
- 29:43SPEAKER_04: It is.
- 29:44SPEAKER_02: And it's like so good.
- 29:46SPEAKER_02: But it's so scary.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: So scary, I can't watch it.
- 29:49SPEAKER_02: I can't watch it.
- 29:50SPEAKER_02: I'm like, yo, who's Toby?
- 29:53SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 29:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 29:54SPEAKER_01: If we watch it at our house, I'm gonna be like, Derek, you gotta cuddle me.
- 29:58SPEAKER_01: I'm gonna sleep with my back to you.
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: I gotta be facing out.
- 30:03SPEAKER_04: Dude, now like, oh my god, that'll be so and me and Wyatt both do it, bro.
- 30:08SPEAKER_04: It is so funny.
- 30:09SPEAKER_04: We'll like sit there and we'll talk like with the lamp off or whatever.
- 30:12SPEAKER_04: And I'll be like, why did you say that?
- 30:13SPEAKER_04: He's like, don't fuck with me.
- 30:14SPEAKER_04: And he'll do it to me and then we'll both get scared.
- 30:16SPEAKER_04: We'll both be like, I don't know the covers, bro.
- 30:20SPEAKER_04: Because I'm like, bro, you don't freak me the fuck out.
- 30:22SPEAKER_04: He's like, you don't freak me out.
- 30:23SPEAKER_04: And then we'll hear something and be like, yo.
- 30:25SPEAKER_01: I usually try, like, if I'm consciously aware, I try to like sleep with my face at the door because I don't want some ghost to be s like sneaking up behind me.
- 30:35SPEAKER_04: I mean, just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there.
- 30:38SPEAKER_01: Why you gotta be like that?
- 30:39SPEAKER_04: I mean, I'm just being real.
- 30:41SPEAKER_01: Why do you have to be like that?
- 30:42SPEAKER_04: I'm just being real.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: I'm glad I sleep with the sound machine on because I I can't imagine what kind of stuff be happening.
- 30:49SPEAKER_04: Like I said, even okay, my kids sleep with the sound machine, even with the sound machine on during the whole like something talking through the the in their room during the baby monitor thing, the sound machine was on.
- 31:02SPEAKER_04: It was on full blast.
- 31:03SPEAKER_01: And I don't know, y'all don't know how we do our sound machines.
- 31:06SPEAKER_01: It's loud.
- 31:07SPEAKER_01: It sounds like Air Force One taking off.
- 31:09SPEAKER_04: Like it is allowed, like a l like a rocket going into launch.
- 31:13SPEAKER_04: Like it is like a hurricane.
- 31:14SPEAKER_04: It's terrible.
- 31:16SPEAKER_04: Uh yeah.
- 31:18SPEAKER_04: I've seen a lot of scary shit.
- 31:20SPEAKER_01: If you have seen some scary things, please comment.
- 31:24SPEAKER_04: We want to get it.
- 31:26SPEAKER_01: Tell us what scary things you have seen.
- 31:29SPEAKER_01: Especially if you're in the area, like around the Mount Erie King area.
- 31:34SPEAKER_04: Ooh! So there is this, and I'm not gonna drop the name because people have been known to go there and smash like tombstones, and that's terrible.
- 31:41SPEAKER_00: Aww.
- 31:41SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and no, this place is scary as fuck.
- 31:43SPEAKER_04: I'm just gonna be real.
- 31:44SPEAKER_04: Um, but it's a it is a cemetery, and it is in the area, and that place is scary.
- 31:51SPEAKER_01: Is it around a big curve?
- 31:54SPEAKER_04: Um, yeah.
- 31:56SPEAKER_01: What is it off of Salom Road?
- 31:58SPEAKER_01: Like you have to turn off Salom, like you're going from Salom to Mount Erie.
- 32:02SPEAKER_01: Um or from Mount Erie to Salome.
- 32:07SPEAKER_01: Um and you have to turn off and the same room.
- 32:13SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you can get there that way too.
- 32:15SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah, we went out there before.
- 32:18SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:19SPEAKER_01: Not to smash tombstones.
- 32:21SPEAKER_01: No.
- 32:21SPEAKER_04: We just went out there and you drive by.
- 32:23SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 32:24SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:27SPEAKER_04: That place is scary as shit.
- 32:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:31SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 32:32SPEAKER_04: Um and then me and Wyatt went whenever I was pregnant with Adalie, we went to some scary ass place in Germantown.
- 32:46SPEAKER_04: Mm-hmm.
- 32:46SPEAKER_04: We looked it up and we went and it was foggy.
- 32:49SPEAKER_04: It was like it was so crazy because it was like a clear day, and then as soon as we got there, it was like heavy fog.
- 32:54SPEAKER_01: Did you ever hear about that um It was like some murder house that was in Clemens?
- 32:59SPEAKER_01: The Lawson.
- 33:02SPEAKER_04: What with the dude who like was like a Satanist?
- 33:04SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:05SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 33:06SPEAKER_01: And they finally tore that house down and everything.
- 33:08SPEAKER_01: I wonder if anybody ever built anything on that.
- 33:11SPEAKER_01: I wouldn't know.
- 33:12SPEAKER_01: Because he like buried people in his backyard.
- 33:15SPEAKER_04: Oh god, I forgot his name was like Zuzu, Zaza, something like that.
- 33:19SPEAKER_01: Pazuzu.
- 33:21SPEAKER_04: Yes! That is an insane pool.
- 33:23SPEAKER_04: W pool for one.
- 33:25SPEAKER_04: Well, and I actually I watched a documentary um at my dad's about that place.
- 33:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 33:30SPEAKER_04: And the shit that he did, he was a fucked up human being.
- 33:33SPEAKER_04: The shit that he did in that place was terrible.
- 33:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 33:37SPEAKER_04: Yeah, and then like it was like Clemens, and I was like, yo, like, don't play.
- 33:42SPEAKER_01: Right?
- 33:43SPEAKER_01: That's right up the road.
- 33:44SPEAKER_04: Yeah, so I'm I'm I'm really glad.
- 33:46SPEAKER_01: I'm kind of surprised they have not made a movie about him.
- 33:50SPEAKER_01: Because I mean, you have movies about all these other people like Ed Gean and stuff like that that do weird stuff.
- 33:56SPEAKER_04: And look no, that dude was fucked up.
- 33:59SPEAKER_04: Like, I mean, obviously, Ed Geen and stuff like that was, but this dude was I know, but think about what a good horror movie that would be.
- 34:07SPEAKER_01: What a hit.
- 34:08SPEAKER_01: What a good horror movie.
- 34:09SPEAKER_01: But that's kind of disrespectful to the families, though.
- 34:11SPEAKER_04: Well, and that was and whenever the Dahmer series came out, that's because the guy who does these adaptations, he's not very like the Lizzie Borden one, and we've talked about it before.
- 34:21SPEAKER_04: He's not very factual, and that is really kind of in my opinion, that's disrespectful to the families because these were real people who unfortunately did get unalived and stuff like that, and so that's not it.
- 34:33SPEAKER_04: I feel like it's disrespectful.
- 34:34SPEAKER_04: Like either tell it right or don't tell it at all.
- 34:37SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 34:38SPEAKER_01: And maybe they just wait until like maybe they don't make these movies until these people are like long gone.
- 34:46SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 34:47SPEAKER_04: So like then you're not But it's still messing with like their victims and Yeah, and but still, I mean Like if they have any living relatives or like distance and then the loss in uh unalive happened in Madison, North Carolina?
- 35:04SPEAKER_04: Were you read about that?
- 35:06SPEAKER_04: No.
- 35:06SPEAKER_04: Um a dad went and like unalived his entire family on Christmas.
- 35:11SPEAKER_01: Did you hear about and this is like a recent thing that happened?
- 35:16SPEAKER_01: This man just is so this man's fiancee or ex-girlfriend or something was standing on a balcony holding their eight-month-old baby, and he just pushed her out.
- 35:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I've seen stuff about that.
- 35:30SPEAKER_01: And while they were arresting him, he had like a creepy smile on his face.
- 35:35SPEAKER_04: Well, he was like Charles Manson, and now I think that I think that people do that to pull the insanity card so they get less time, and I think that's fucked up.
- 35:41SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna be real.
- 35:42SPEAKER_01: Well the baby is apparently the baby apparently survived.
- 35:46SPEAKER_01: I don't think so.
- 35:47SPEAKER_01: It's in the hospital right now, receiving care.
- 35:49SPEAKER_01: I don't I'm not saying it's gonna like make it make it, but it's it's receiving care in the hospital.
- 35:55SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's terrible.
- 35:56SPEAKER_04: Let's let's switch.
- 35:57SPEAKER_04: But he was very creepy.
- 35:58SPEAKER_04: Yeah, let's switch back to it.
- 35:59SPEAKER_01: It reminds me of that movie Smile.
- 36:02SPEAKER_04: Oh nah.
- 36:03SPEAKER_04: Nah, fuck with that.
- 36:05SPEAKER_04: Nope.
- 36:05SPEAKER_04: Pack it up.
- 36:06SPEAKER_04: Pack it up, I don't do that.
- 36:08SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's what it reminded me of.
- 36:09SPEAKER_04: Mm-mm.
- 36:10SPEAKER_04: Because for one, especially the.
- 36:11SPEAKER_04: That's about how big he was freaking smiley.
- 36:13SPEAKER_04: And he was like, and I'm like, yo.
- 36:15SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like something that movie reminds me of.
- 36:18SPEAKER_01: Or that's what he reminds me of, is that movie?
- 36:20SPEAKER_04: I mean, that was a crazy pull.
- 36:22SPEAKER_04: Pazoo, that was insane.
- 36:24SPEAKER_04: That was crazy.
- 36:25SPEAKER_04: Well, I mean, it's the one thing I know about the fact right here.
- 36:28SPEAKER_04: I'm so surprised that like you pulled out that.
- 36:30SPEAKER_04: That was crazy.
- 36:31SPEAKER_04: And the thing is, me and White literally talked about him like a couple months back.
- 36:34SPEAKER_04: So I was like, do you know like that happened?
- 36:37SPEAKER_04: Like that dude.
- 36:38SPEAKER_01: Well, I think it took forever for them to finally tear the house down.
- 36:42SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 36:43SPEAKER_01: But now, like, uh people who don't know about it, what if they just go buy that land and they go put a house.
- 36:50SPEAKER_01: I don't think that they should.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: I don't think they they should list it.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: I think if something like that happens, especially something like that.
- 36:58SPEAKER_01: Well, because it was and I mean I don't know The City should condemn that property.
- 37:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because I mean, listen, and this is just me spiritually talking, th the sh the shit he did was demonic.
- 37:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 37:11SPEAKER_04: And I've I don't feel like I've ever been in the present of no, that's a lie.
- 37:16SPEAKER_04: My dad's house.
- 37:17SPEAKER_04: Did I tell any that place that there's something up with that place?
- 37:21SPEAKER_04: I don't think I've ever really been face to face with anything demonic, and I pray to God I won't ever be.
- 37:28SPEAKER_04: But that is so like such a satanic entity or surrounding that place because everything that he did.
- 37:36SPEAKER_04: And if you don't know, please go look it up.
- 37:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah, you can walk there's documentaries on it.
- 37:40SPEAKER_04: I I'm afraid that if we talk too much about it, that this won't be able to go up.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: It's wild.
- 37:45SPEAKER_01: And like people were going there to like party and stuff.
- 37:48SPEAKER_04: Yeah, because they just kind of thought that he was like edgy and nobody really knew the extent of what he was doing.
- 37:55SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's it's just crazy.
- 37:59SPEAKER_04: And you would never really tell it from the outside.
- 38:02SPEAKER_04: Well, until yeah, until where it was all spray painted and shit.
- 38:06SPEAKER_01: The one place that used to like creep me out a lot as a kid, because we had a lot of family reunions there, is like the old Eldora schoolhouse.
- 38:14SPEAKER_01: Have you ever been there?
- 38:16unknown: Eldora school.
- 38:17unknown: Outdoors.
- 38:18SPEAKER_01: Poppy and grandma used to have things there.
- 38:21SPEAKER_02: That place scary.
- 38:22SPEAKER_01: It is, ain't it?
- 38:23SPEAKER_01: It's just like odd though.
- 38:25SPEAKER_01: But like, so they only have this.
- 38:27SPEAKER_01: It just has like a feel.
- 38:28SPEAKER_01: Yeah, they have like this event area essentially where you can put like your table.
- 38:31SPEAKER_04: It's like a it's like a Ruitan building.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: Um it's got like a a big kitchen in the back, so that's why we would go.
- 38:40SPEAKER_01: We'd have like Christmas and Thanksgiving and stuff there.
- 38:42SPEAKER_01: Um, and but then there's like the whole rest of the school is closed off.
- 38:48SPEAKER_01: And it's kind of like I was gonna say I never seen the rest of it.
- 38:50SPEAKER_03: No, you can only peek through the windows, and it's like creepy.
- 38:54SPEAKER_03: Well, I thought your dad's school was creepy.
- 38:58SPEAKER_03: It's not in a warrant, now he's kind of all cutesy.
- 39:01SPEAKER_03: I didn't think it was creepy to begin with.
- 39:04SPEAKER_01: Well, all the that one time Oh, we made a scary movie, and dad's like, I thought you I thought you said you were good at this.
- 39:11SPEAKER_04: And he's over there going, Oh Yeah, keep in mind I was like maybe twelve.
- 39:16SPEAKER_04: Um, no, like I think the eeriness of like all the ID cards and stuff.
- 39:21SPEAKER_04: Like that was weird.
- 39:23SPEAKER_04: Like because when you think of like closed down school, you're like, oh somebody died here.
- 39:28SPEAKER_01: No, they were just they were just poor.
- 39:30SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 39:32SPEAKER_04: Well, and it's in like a middle of like a field, and then you had that one abandoned house across from it.
- 39:38SPEAKER_04: Oh I we can't talk about it, but just know that there is a bunch of explicit images.
- 39:45SPEAKER_04: And this was across from a elementary Yes.
- 39:48SPEAKER_01: Elementary school.
- 39:49SPEAKER_01: So literally, this is right across the road from an elementary school that's gotten closed down.
- 39:53SPEAKER_01: This house has been abandoned for quite some time, longer than the school has been closed down, for sure.
- 39:58SPEAKER_04: Oh, yeah, because all this got the porch from the 80s.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: And the porch and stuff was like starting to like And it was an obviously like older house, yeah.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 40:06SPEAKER_01: And so you walk in and there's this room, and every single square inch of that place was covered.
- 40:13SPEAKER_01: All ceiling, all of it was covered in explicit images.
- 40:17SPEAKER_01: And you're like and you instantly felt, ugh.
- 40:21SPEAKER_04: Well, especially because when you looked out the window, you seen the momentary school and you're like, dude, like that is so nice.
- 40:27SPEAKER_01: This is like the bedroom that's at the front of the house, so it's got literally a window.
- 40:32SPEAKER_04: Right to the it was just really gross.
- 40:35SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 40:35unknown: Yeah.
- 40:36SPEAKER_04: And plus your dad used to go in like all these abandoned houses around the area.
- 40:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 40:40SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, dude, you're gonna bring back something.
- 40:43SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 40:44SPEAKER_04: And he's like, No, as I and they're like, bro, no, is not.
- 40:50SPEAKER_04: But then we went with him one time.
- 40:52SPEAKER_04: That was fun.
- 40:53SPEAKER_04: But I was kind of afraid.
- 40:54SPEAKER_04: I know.
- 40:55SPEAKER_04: I was like, what if this ceiling collapses?
- 40:57SPEAKER_04: And what if somebody shoots me?
- 40:59SPEAKER_01: That's fair.
- 41:00SPEAKER_04: Like, we're I can't believe you pulled that pazu shit.
- 41:06SPEAKER_04: That is crazy.
- 41:08SPEAKER_04: Oh my lord.
- 41:10SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 41:10SPEAKER_01: Um I'm sure there's other like crazy things that's happened around.
- 41:14SPEAKER_04: Um, I live okay.
- 41:15SPEAKER_04: I'm not gonna expose my address, but I do live on the Virginia, North Carolina state line.
- 41:20SPEAKER_04: And K-Lax, I just seen Oh, she's taking a dream.
- 41:27SPEAKER_04: Don't show the Okay, I was gonna say don't show the logo.
- 41:31SPEAKER_04: I don't know if I did a minute ago or not, but I hope not.
- 41:35SPEAKER_04: You can tell.
- 41:36SPEAKER_04: Anyway.
- 41:37SPEAKER_04: Um but somebody just did a ghost tour of one of the places in Galax, Virginia.
- 41:45SPEAKER_01: Apparently Mount Erie has a ghost tour.
- 41:48SPEAKER_04: I know and I want to go see it and I want to go do their trolley ones, but uh they're like the first Saturday.
- 41:54SPEAKER_01: I'm like I don't know of bad things or scary things that's happened around Mount Erie.
- 42:00SPEAKER_04: Well, I follow their history page.
- 42:02SPEAKER_04: I'm a huge history buff anyway.
- 42:04SPEAKER_04: Um, but I follow their history page, and there's been quite a few homicides that have happened.
- 42:10SPEAKER_04: Really?
- 42:11SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 42:12SPEAKER_04: Well, and then if you go up to uh Hillswall, the thing that happened at the courthouse.
- 42:18SPEAKER_04: What happened at the courthouse?
- 42:20SPEAKER_04: The I don't know, it's why I know it's all about it.
- 42:22SPEAKER_04: The Jay Allen house, something like that.
- 42:25SPEAKER_01: Now I'm gonna have to go look it up because I don't know what that is.
- 42:27SPEAKER_04: But apparently they went and robbed the courthouse and shot a bunch of people and something.
- 42:31SPEAKER_04: This was years ago.
- 42:33SPEAKER_01: But yeah, if you know of any like local uh like scary, spooky things or like spooky places to go or have spooky vibes, let us know.
- 42:43SPEAKER_04: Because I want to go ghost hunting, but I'm afraid that I want to bring it up.
- 42:47SPEAKER_01: No, I actually kind of just want to avoid those places.
- 42:50SPEAKER_01: Oh, do you want to give a girl a heads up so I don't go somewhere spooky, like real life spooky?
- 42:57SPEAKER_01: Because movie spooky and real life spooky are different spookies.
- 43:03SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 43:04SPEAKER_01: What's happening to them on the movies and what's happening to them in that movie?
- 43:07SPEAKER_04: Well, so and you know what's crazy is that the the conjuring was obviously based on the true story.
- 43:12SPEAKER_04: Well apparently, so oh gosh, I don't know, I forgot her name, but one of the parent girls who and she's still alive to this day, who it happened to they couldn't put everything that she wrote in her book in the movie because it would have been like a non-rated movie of about seriously how bad it was.
- 43:34SPEAKER_04: That that everything that happened.
- 43:38SPEAKER_04: Scary as shit.
- 43:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, yeah.
- 43:41SPEAKER_00: Because that movie was already scary.
- 43:43SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
- 43:44SPEAKER_03: Oh yeah.
- 43:45SPEAKER_04: Oh yeah.
- 43:47SPEAKER_04: I like the conjuring franchise, though they're really good.
- 43:49SPEAKER_04: Um I think real life spooky is scarier than movie spooky, obviously.
- 43:55SPEAKER_01: Yes, that's what I'm saying.
- 43:56SPEAKER_01: Like, I can watch a scary movie because you're they're all pretty much the same.
- 44:00SPEAKER_01: Same, right?
- 44:01SPEAKER_04: Essentially.
- 44:02SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I mean they all have the same plot.
- 44:04SPEAKER_04: But um Ooh, I did go I did watch that new backrooms movie that's out on I think HBO.
- 44:10SPEAKER_04: The movie's fucking weird.
- 44:11SPEAKER_04: Like it gave me the heebie jeebies.
- 44:13SPEAKER_01: And I know when it first came out, like TikTok would show like other like backrooms.
- 44:20SPEAKER_04: Now the backrooms thing has been around God for forever.
- 44:23SPEAKER_04: Because me and a friend of mine used to be like obsessed with it.
- 44:26SPEAKER_01: But apparently there's a lot of them in Vegas.
- 44:29SPEAKER_01: No fuck with that.
- 44:31SPEAKER_01: And I'm like, did I stay in one of these places?
- 44:35SPEAKER_04: Oh no, that that client that circus place.
- 44:38SPEAKER_04: Circus circus.
- 44:39SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I will never stay there.
- 44:41SPEAKER_04: Because of all the bad energy it has.
- 44:43SPEAKER_04: Because I'm a huge energy person.
- 44:44SPEAKER_04: And all the bad energy that that place has, no.
- 44:47SPEAKER_04: It's usually fairly cheap to stay there.
- 44:50SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 44:51SPEAKER_04: I also heard that it's like a huge like human trafficking rink, too.
- 44:55SPEAKER_01: Mm.
- 44:56SPEAKER_01: Mm.
- 44:56SPEAKER_01: Mm-hmm.
- 44:57SPEAKER_01: Well, I think Vegas in general is.
- 45:01unknown: Yeah.
- 45:02unknown: Yeah.
- 45:03SPEAKER_01: I think so too.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: That's one reason I'm kind of leery to take the kids there.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: Like, I wanna I I wanna the kids that is not a kid's place.
- 45:12SPEAKER_01: But not even for that.
- 45:13SPEAKER_01: Like, I want them to eat all the cool stuff and then like go see the Grand Canyon one day.
- 45:18SPEAKER_04: So take them to see the Grand Canyon.
- 45:20SPEAKER_01: But then I don't get to eat all the good food that I like in Vegas.
- 45:23SPEAKER_04: I would not take your kids to Vegas.
- 45:26SPEAKER_04: Ever.
- 45:26SPEAKER_04: Until they are way older.
- 45:29SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's fair.
- 45:30SPEAKER_01: Like, not no.
- 45:32SPEAKER_01: Nope.
- 45:33SPEAKER_01: Well, it'll take that long to convince their dad to fly on an airplane anyway.
- 45:36SPEAKER_04: Well, especially everything that happens, like on the sidewalks.
- 45:39SPEAKER_04: Ain't no way.
- 45:39SPEAKER_01: Yeah, you look down, there's like player cards and like, ain' no way.
- 45:44SPEAKER_04: No way.
- 45:45SPEAKER_01: Um, but yeah, I ain't standing those circus, circus.
- 45:48SPEAKER_01: There's another one too that I've heard a lot about.
- 45:51SPEAKER_01: Is it like the horseshoe or something like that?
- 45:53SPEAKER_01: I don't know.
- 45:55SPEAKER_01: I don't know either.
- 45:56SPEAKER_01: There's a couple that people talk about a lot.
- 45:59SPEAKER_04: Yeah, uh I don't know.
- 46:00SPEAKER_04: Vegas is Vegas is just got that vibe though, in my opinion.
- 46:04SPEAKER_04: What?
- 46:05SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 46:06SPEAKER_04: It's just kind of spooky.
- 46:08SPEAKER_03: It just it's really heavy.
- 46:10SPEAKER_01: Well, you gotta think, like, there's the historic part that we're gonna do.
- 46:14SPEAKER_01: I want to go to Zack Begin's haunted museum.
- 46:19SPEAKER_04: Next time I go to Vegas.
- 46:23SPEAKER_04: Next time I go to Vegas, I'm gone.
- 46:24SPEAKER_03: And this is why spooky stuff happens.
- 46:26SPEAKER_03: We gotta go.
- 46:26SPEAKER_03: We gotta go.
- 46:27SPEAKER_03: We gotta go.
- 46:28SPEAKER_04: We gotta go, we gotta take stuff.
- 46:30SPEAKER_01: I don't think she's gonna like that.
- 46:32SPEAKER_04: Cause I mean, that's ghost adventure Zack Bagan's.
- 46:37SPEAKER_04: Like scary shit, Zack Bagans.
- 46:43SPEAKER_01: Or what is the house that Matt Reif bought?
- 46:46SPEAKER_04: Uh uh.
- 46:48SPEAKER_04: The Conjuring House.
- 46:49SPEAKER_04: Yes.
- 46:50SPEAKER_04: I ain't doing nothing that that comedian bought.
- 46:55SPEAKER_04: I guarantee you he done ruined that place.
- 46:58SPEAKER_04: No.
- 46:59SPEAKER_04: No, no, no.
- 47:00SPEAKER_01: Where it's got like the Annabelle doll?
- 47:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 47:03SPEAKER_04: Um yeah, the place where I ain't well that's what Carolyn yeah, her name no, I don't think it's Carolyn Perrin.
- 47:10SPEAKER_04: I think that was the mom.
- 47:11SPEAKER_04: But one of the Perrin girls, like what I was talking about, yeah, they bought the original house where all that trauma and stuff that happened.
- 47:20unknown: Yeah.
- 47:20SPEAKER_04: And they're treating it like it's an amusement park, and I don't think Yeah, I don't think that that should be open to the public at all.
- 47:27SPEAKER_04: Well, that's just like um where people get married at plantations.
- 47:31SPEAKER_04: What is wrong with you?
- 47:33SPEAKER_04: Because imagine how heavy that is.
- 47:35SPEAKER_00: But some of those places are beautiful.
- 47:37SPEAKER_04: It doesn't matter.
- 47:38SPEAKER_01: People were not all of them.
- 47:41SPEAKER_01: Now we know some we know like majority, but there were some where they weren't.
- 47:46SPEAKER_04: The majority of the bigger plantations where people get married is what happens.
- 47:51SPEAKER_04: And I don't think that I think either a plantation should be completely closed off or turned into a museum.
- 47:55SPEAKER_04: It should not be a wedding venue.
- 47:57SPEAKER_04: That is insane.
- 47:59SPEAKER_04: And I will stand by that to the day I die because of how heavy and all the really bad shit that happened.
- 48:06SPEAKER_04: Cause like, regardless, I feel like if any bad shit happened anywhere, it should not be turned into a wedding venue.
- 48:12SPEAKER_04: That's that's crazy.
- 48:15SPEAKER_04: Like, would you get married at the conjuring house?
- 48:17SPEAKER_04: No, because really bad shit happened there.
- 48:20SPEAKER_04: Also, it's not cute.
- 48:22SPEAKER_04: No, and it's in like Rhode Island or like New England, some stupid shit.
- 48:27SPEAKER_04: But no, I don't feel like if something bad happens somewhere, it should be like, oh, let's get married there.
- 48:33SPEAKER_01: No.
- 48:34SPEAKER_01: But there are weirdos out there too that like would get married at the conjuring house because they're two weirdos that think that's cool and they'll be like, oh, it'd be so awesome to get married at the conjuring house.
- 48:46SPEAKER_01: There are weird people out there like that.
- 48:48SPEAKER_04: I know, but as much as like a like a horror buff I am, I don't think I could do it.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: My kids don't do well with scary.
- 48:56SPEAKER_04: I don't mess with I don't mess with I can do the the ghost, they the apparitions, I can do that.
- 49:00SPEAKER_04: The demon shit, no.
- 49:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah, that's that's that's not my vibe.
- 49:06SPEAKER_04: I can't do it.
- 49:07SPEAKER_01: How is your son gonna handle Halloween?
- 49:10SPEAKER_01: I feel like he gets scared by everything.
- 49:12SPEAKER_01: Um we just gotta wing it.
- 49:14SPEAKER_04: I feel like he's gonna cry a lot.
- 49:16SPEAKER_04: Um, I've did some exposure therapy with the moon.
- 49:21SPEAKER_04: It's really helped.
- 49:22SPEAKER_04: I'll go moo, and then he'll be like, yeah.
- 49:26SPEAKER_04: And I'm like, yeah, buddy, yeah, moo.
- 49:28SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 49:29SPEAKER_01: I'm like, yeah.
- 49:31SPEAKER_01: I feel like they're gonna get scared of some of the costumes.
- 49:36SPEAKER_04: That's just part of it.
- 49:37SPEAKER_01: Are is he gonna get scared of my costume?
- 49:39SPEAKER_04: Probably.
- 49:39SPEAKER_04: Please don't bark at him or do anything weird.
- 49:43SPEAKER_04: And he will have a panic attack and shit his pants.
- 49:47SPEAKER_01: You can't do that.
- 49:48SPEAKER_01: But I don't know how my kids are gonna do either.
- 49:50SPEAKER_01: Reagan, I don't know.
- 49:51SPEAKER_01: They watch scary stuff on their their tablets.
- 49:53SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:54SPEAKER_01: They watch some creepy stuff.
- 49:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 49:56SPEAKER_01: And then wonder why they're scared half the time when it's dark in the bedroom.
- 50:00SPEAKER_04: Oh, Adalie started this thing where um she won't go down our hallway at night.
- 50:05SPEAKER_04: Like into the living room.
- 50:07SPEAKER_04: Nope.
- 50:07SPEAKER_04: Won't do it.
- 50:09SPEAKER_04: We'll not do it.
- 50:10SPEAKER_04: I don't know what happened.
- 50:11SPEAKER_04: Or if it's just like the dark, we'll not do it.
- 50:15SPEAKER_01: Well, Reagan turns on every freaking light in the house just to get to go down the hall to go to the bathroom.
- 50:22SPEAKER_01: I can't blame her.
- 50:23SPEAKER_01: There is literally like a freaking light that we something grabs her that we plugged into the wall so it illuminates the hallway from our bedroom to that bathroom.
- 50:32SPEAKER_01: No.
- 50:33SPEAKER_01: The hallway scary as shit at night.
- 50:35SPEAKER_01: All she has to do is walk.
- 50:37SPEAKER_01: I mean, it's already on.
- 50:38SPEAKER_04: Your closet gives me the hippie jubbies.
- 50:40SPEAKER_04: Why?
- 50:41SPEAKER_04: It just does.
- 50:43SPEAKER_04: I don't know.
- 50:44SPEAKER_04: It's just an odd room.
- 50:46SPEAKER_01: Well, the door is always open.
- 50:48SPEAKER_01: But that's because the cat goes in there and sleeps.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: That is so weird.
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: She loves my closet.
- 50:55SPEAKER_04: It's because it's big.
- 50:56SPEAKER_04: Yeah, um, I I can do all types of scary shit, but when it g when it turns demonic, and I'm just not a huge fan.
- 51:06SPEAKER_04: I'm just not.
- 51:07SPEAKER_04: Do you believe that the Salem Woods trials they were actually witches?
- 51:10SPEAKER_04: Or do you think that they were just women who believed in different things?
- 51:15SPEAKER_01: I think some of them probably were like kind of witchy, demonic type people, but I also think that they just went around and just pointed fingers at just women.
- 51:26SPEAKER_01: At women who were just be oh weird.
- 51:29SPEAKER_01: Well different.
- 51:30SPEAKER_04: So in the Trans-Alegani, which is I'm so glad that you mentioned that, but the Trans-Alegani Lunatic Asylum, it literally shows like all the reasons why like you could send somebody there, and most of it's like women's stuff.
- 51:41SPEAKER_04: Reads too much.
- 51:43SPEAKER_04: You would be sent to an asylum.
- 51:45SPEAKER_04: That's just crazy.
- 51:46SPEAKER_04: Reads too much, um, talks back to her husband.
- 51:49SPEAKER_04: So and you can look it up on the internet and look at all the stupid shit that people would send like their wives and people like that for.
- 51:57SPEAKER_04: Um, if they had showed any signs of ADHD, like Adalie, like where she is like weird with texture, asylum, lock her up.
- 52:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, like I do think that some of them women were kind of just um creepy, but I think that's that a lot of people just got unalived by association, like just being different.
- 52:17SPEAKER_04: Well, and I and I didn't even realize that even in even when we went to Salem, because and I didn't realize it until I was in college in a history class learning about it, that I think that a lot of it was just like a religious psychosis from men.
- 52:30SPEAKER_04: And if women were just different, they just burnt them alive.
- 52:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, it's just that's what I really think happened, and I think that is terrible.
- 52:39SPEAKER_04: Like I could like read a book too much and they'd be like, which?
- 52:43SPEAKER_04: Which?
- 52:44SPEAKER_01: Or you'd be like making like an herb, like medicine or something like that.
- 52:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah, but they'd be like, which like yo.
- 52:52SPEAKER_04: Okay, then or dances too much.
- 52:54SPEAKER_04: Or like if people like would dance, which I'd like yo.
- 52:59SPEAKER_04: Like if you were doing TikTok, you were gone.
- 53:02SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 53:02SPEAKER_04: They'd be like, witch.
- 53:04SPEAKER_04: And I just I don't really think that it was a whole witch child thing.
- 53:08SPEAKER_04: Um I think that there were just women who were different, and they're like, burn them, burn them at the stake, they can't do anything for us here.
- 53:16SPEAKER_01: So do you think that like truly witchy people are weird?
- 53:22SPEAKER_01: No.
- 53:24SPEAKER_04: I think being in touch with your spirituality isn't weird.
- 53:27SPEAKER_04: I don't think that's spirituality.
- 53:30SPEAKER_04: If you're doing like a lot of them do like No, if you're summoning something you shouldn't be satanic stuff.
- 53:38SPEAKER_04: Yeah, then that's not my cup of tea.
- 53:43SPEAKER_04: Preferably.
- 53:44SPEAKER_04: But like with people who do like who are psychics and like mediums who see dead people, I don't feel like they're demonic.
- 53:52SPEAKER_04: Because I mean that's just I think that people are born more spiritually impacted than.
- 54:03SPEAKER_04: I don't think that you should go around cursing people.
- 54:05SPEAKER_04: Casting spells.
- 54:06SPEAKER_04: Like I don't I don't think that which and you gotta think like a lot of people like voodoo and stuff, that's just different religions.
- 54:12SPEAKER_04: I mean, that's just how some people roll.
- 54:14SPEAKER_04: It's not how I roll.
- 54:16SPEAKER_04: And v yeah, voodoo's kind of creepy, too.
- 54:18SPEAKER_04: But that's not like let's burn them at the stake because they're different.
- 54:21SPEAKER_04: Now, if you go curse me, I'm like, dude, really?
- 54:24SPEAKER_04: Like we disagreed and you're gonna over you're gonna curse me?
- 54:26SPEAKER_04: That's crazy.
- 54:27SPEAKER_04: I curse you.
- 54:28SPEAKER_04: Like, don't curse me because you don't agree with my football team or something like that.
- 54:33SPEAKER_04: Like, yo.
- 54:34SPEAKER_03: But no, I don't think like Don't be having no voodoo doll on me just because I Yeah exactly.
- 54:39SPEAKER_03: Don't be pins and needle in me because I don't like it.
- 54:42SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 54:43SPEAKER_04: But no, I don't think that people who like read like the cards or anything like that, I don't I don't think that they're demonic.
- 54:50SPEAKER_01: I think that there are people have different like Well the lady that was at the the ballgame, she wasn't she didn't seem that bad.
- 55:01SPEAKER_04: Which and like I said, I don't I feel like people have different, like it's on the tip of my tongue.
- 55:09SPEAKER_04: Spiritualities?
- 55:11SPEAKER_04: I mean I I I guess preferences but some people mean good, some people don't.
- 55:16SPEAKER_04: Right.
- 55:17SPEAKER_04: I think that it kinda goes different in different like when people like cleanse houses and stuff, like I don't feel like that's bad.
- 55:25SPEAKER_01: I mean, I don't feel like it's gonna work, but that's not that's not us, that's not for us to determine, you know what I'm saying?
- 55:31SPEAKER_01: I mean if somebody wants to believe that's gonna work, I guess that's fine for them.
- 55:34SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I I think that it just goes with people with like different religions.
- 55:38SPEAKER_01: I mean it kind of sounds like your dad's house needs some cleansing.
- 55:42SPEAKER_01: Dude, I'm telling you that place is scary.
- 55:44SPEAKER_04: And I will believe that until the day I die.
- 55:48SPEAKER_04: You believe a lot of things until the day you die.
- 55:51SPEAKER_04: Because dude, I'm telling you that place is scary.
- 55:54SPEAKER_04: That place is scary.
- 55:55SPEAKER_04: No, but I mean I like I like the the psychics and the mediums, and I feel like a lot of people are more spiritually like like their senses for stuff like that are higher.
- 56:06SPEAKER_04: Like a sixth sense.
- 56:08SPEAKER_04: Yeah.
- 56:09SPEAKER_04: Like I can walk into a room and realize that like I don't I mean, I don't I'm not saying I'm like any like the ghost whisperer or anything like that.
- 56:16SPEAKER_04: But um, like I can walk into somewhere and realize if like the air is really heavy.
- 56:20SPEAKER_04: You know what I'm saying?
- 56:22SPEAKER_04: Nope.
- 56:22SPEAKER_04: And I can see other shit that people can't see.
- 56:27SPEAKER_04: No, no.
- 56:30SPEAKER_04: I mean, like I like I said, I'm not like I'm the chosen one.
- 56:33SPEAKER_04: I'm the ghost whisperer.
- 56:34SPEAKER_01: Me seeing things that other people don't see is like me seeing the Steelers winning the Super Bowl in the next five years.
- 56:40SPEAKER_04: Yeah, I think that's false hope.
- 56:42SPEAKER_04: No, but like I, you know, I've seen some shit people don't.
- 56:46SPEAKER_04: It might be schizophrenia.
- 56:48SPEAKER_04: I got a long list of mental health shit going on.
- 56:52SPEAKER_04: Anyway, um, this concludes this episode of Shit Mom Say.
