- 0:09Hello and welcome back to another episode of Banter
- 0:11Laurencia. How are you all doing?
- 0:13I hope you're doing great. Now, for today's episode I am
- 0:16going to be talking about the situation between Mr Ibu's wife
- 0:20and his adopted daughter Jasmine.
- 0:23Now anybody that knows this family or if you've been
- 0:27following Mr Ibus crisis online, you will know that himself and
- 0:33his wife they have been at loggerheads.
- 0:35The wife has made several videos or ran to just love accusing Mr
- 0:41IBU of not taking care of him and all that Mister Edward the
- 0:44other hand he has also made videos accusing the wife of
- 0:48being money hungry even before this current medical situation.
- 0:53Now we thought that previously when they had those problems
- 0:57that they resolved the issue because the wife was accusing
- 1:01Jasmine as in Mr Wolf dating Jasmine.
- 1:06Messy messy messy messy, messy situation.
- 1:08But they came out, they made-up online and there was a video
- 1:13that was released. They thought, we thought that
- 1:16you know, the Miserables family, everything is now OK and they're
- 1:20living together until this current health challenges that
- 1:24Mister abuse currently going through.
- 1:27When he was in the hospital asking for donations, we saw
- 1:30videos of Mr Abel's wife feeding him, shaving him, taking care of
- 1:36him and you know, you know the usual thing that husband and
- 1:39wife does and everybody thought they are coming together now
- 1:43that he is not feeling fine to help him out.
- 1:47I think when people started noticing cracks was when Mr
- 1:50Abuse wife made a video saying that AGN had abandoned them.
- 1:55They've not given her any financial assistance.
- 1:58Now Kitten Show actually came out online and said Jasmine
- 2:01should confirm that, you know, they have been supporting Mr
- 2:05Ibu. Now we're just thinking, OK let
- 2:08us just and from the video she was just talking about like he
- 2:11just like self entitled. You know, you're supposed to do
- 2:15this for me. You're supposed to do that for
- 2:16me and all that. I made a video then actually
- 2:20analysing that video that she released online.
- 2:25And I talked about how this woman is just money hungry.
- 2:29She's just like you have children and you're just sitting
- 2:32down. You're not doing anything.
- 2:34You're just waiting for people to be giving you money.
- 2:36You're waiting for your husband that is sick to be still taking
- 2:39care of the responsibility of the kids.
- 2:43I had to edit out all those things.
- 2:46I just thought this family, they are going through a lot right
- 2:49now. There's no need for me to to
- 2:53include all these things, you know, talking about the wife.
- 2:56Let me just allow them. Let's talk about his current
- 3:00health challenges and people should just help.
- 3:02So I had to cut out all those things.
- 3:05But ladies and gentlemen, we're just sitting down minding our
- 3:09business thinking, OK, they've caught off Mr Abu's leg.
- 3:12He is recovering from the several surgeries that he's had
- 3:16and hopefully the second leg will not be cut off because they
- 3:20were talking about flying him abroad for more medical
- 3:25treatment. So we're just praying for Mr Ibu
- 3:27and then just lover released a chat between Jasmine's friend
- 3:32and Jasmine between herself and Jasmine telling discover that
- 3:37Jasmine is going through a lot beside who's wife is fighting
- 3:40tooth and nail for access of monies that have been donated
- 3:45for Mr Abuse Health. According to that story, she
- 3:48wanted to buy a car because according to her, it will help
- 3:51her to transport, you know move herself from whom like to visit
- 3:56Mr the hospital. It will help her to visit Miss
- 4:01Taliban in the hospital. So when she said when those
- 4:06chats were released, people were like kind of you were very
- 4:09insensitive, started talking about your husband is online
- 4:12seeking financial support to assist him.
- 4:15One of his leg has been cut off. He's going to need medical
- 4:19assistance for the rest of his life.
- 4:21He's going to need rehabilitation because of his
- 4:24age. That comes with a lot of
- 4:26challenges. He may not be able to walk, walk
- 4:30or walk again. So what is your your problem is
- 4:36car through and through from hospital like 50 million.
- 4:40She was actually requesting for 15,000,000 to buy a car.
- 4:44So miscible did not like the way that the whole conversation was
- 4:49going. So she released her own
- 4:50statement saying that ohh she that was supposed to be a
- 4:53private conversation that was not supposed to have been
- 4:56released. That Jasmine.
- 4:57There was no audio. I don't think I've I've heard
- 5:00the audio but according to her Jasmine recorded that
- 5:03conversation and released it online.
- 5:05She said that it was herself and her brother.
- 5:09They were just saying that oh, she, she will need a car.
- 5:16She will need a car to transport her from home to, to ease her
- 5:21transport to the hospital, like people could read.
- 5:25In between the insensitivity in her tone, the entitlements and
- 5:32according to her, the Jasmine is a stranger.
- 5:35Her brother has been with her living in her household since
- 5:392013, talking about 10 years and I just I was like your brother
- 5:46living with you. He's jobless, you're jobless.
- 5:49You all are relying on Mr Abu who is currently sick and
- 5:52seeking medical attention. The best thing that your brother
- 5:56can advise you to do right now is to leave hospital first of
- 6:00all and go and get a job so that you can take care of your kids.
- 6:03What if this, Mr Abu, God forbid, dies?
- 6:07What are you going to do? What are you going to do?
- 6:11She's busy saying no. Her brother has been there.
- 6:14Jasmine has not been there. She wants access to the money.
- 6:17She just want transparency. She just want this.
- 6:20More revelations came out. They said that Mississippi
- 6:28they've not been talking terms for months now.
- 6:30And Mr Abu actually left the house and was sleeping on the
- 6:33couch in a friend's house. So it was not like the family
- 6:39was OK. They were not in good terms.
- 6:42But because of the situation, Jasmine begged me Sibiu to allow
- 6:47Mississippi U to you know, just for optics.
- 6:50So she came to the hospital. I think that was when she was
- 6:52feeding her husband and all those kind of things.
- 6:54But now she's feeling like I am the wife.
- 6:57I should have access to the money.
- 6:59I should have this, I should have that.
- 7:02I should even said she wanted money to do and Yash this is
- 7:08what they wanted to do. Bom bom.
- 7:10She wanted BL. In fact they said that somebody
- 7:13came to visit Mr Ibu and wanted to donate money.
- 7:16But because Jasmine was not there ohh she said she needed
- 7:19some money. She gave her own account number.
- 7:22The money was 1,000,000 was paid into her account.
- 7:24She refused to bring that money. She said she had bills to pay.
- 7:27The next day she came with a fake bomb Bomb.
- 7:32You give me the thing, boom, boom.
- 7:34She said that she's still young. Go.
- 7:35She need money to maintain her lifestyle.
- 7:37She need money to do this. And she like the insensitivity.
- 7:43And according to people, she sold the cars, Mr Able car.
- 7:48That was why she was asking for money to buy cars.
- 7:51She has already sold off this man's car.
- 7:53She was even planning to sell the house they were living in
- 7:57because she said she needed money.
- 7:58And I'm just looking at this whole thing, I said.
- 8:01Even if she saw this house now and they give you the money
- 8:05because you're not working, in the next 2-3 years, you're still
- 8:10going to come online and start begging.
- 8:12Hey Mr Mr Abuse kids, they are not in school.
- 8:17They are not this. They are not that.
- 8:20I look at this whole thing and I'm like Mary right to, because
- 8:26I see a lot of people who say I want to, I want to be
- 8:29breadwinner. I want to marry somebody that is
- 8:31not working. I want to marry somebody that I
- 8:34can provide for. I don't want to marry a career
- 8:37woman. I don't want to marry a what if
- 8:39I marry somebody that has a career now?
- 8:41How are we going to do the family?
- 8:42If I marry somebody now that is any more than me and she's going
- 8:45to new me down or she's going to disrespect me.
- 8:49She's not going to be submissive.
- 8:50She's not going to do this. She's not going to do that.
- 8:52And then you marry somebody. I mean marry somebody who
- 8:56doesn't have a job at that time. There's no problem with that.
- 9:00But marrying the mentality or somebody who says I need to be
- 9:06provided for, I need to be taken care of, I need my man to do
- 9:12everything for me. I'll tell my friends, family,
- 9:17brothers, sisters, the the danger there is the mentality.
- 9:23Because if you look at Mr B's wife now, the mentality is my
- 9:28husband should provide for me. I want to live a certain
- 9:33standard or when you married me this was my expectation and I
- 9:37expect you in sickness or in health to be able to provide
- 9:42that standard for me. That is the dangers according to
- 9:47her. She said when she got married to
- 9:48Mr Ibu, Mr who said she should not work, she should just sit
- 9:50down and take care of the kids. I can understand at that point
- 9:53he was making money. Well, right now you're looking
- 9:56at your husband. Your husband is in a seabed
- 9:59begging for money online to be able to take care of his medical
- 10:03bills and after care he's going to require aftercare for the
- 10:07rest of his life. And all you could think about is
- 10:11boom boom. Or you could think about is 50
- 10:13million car. Or you could think about is
- 10:16maintaining your life that you are still a baby girl go and get
- 10:21a job. I was with a few friends and
- 10:26we're talking about, you know, what do women bring to the
- 10:29table. Yeah, I know this conversation
- 10:32as you know, very long time, but when you hear what do women
- 10:36bring to the table, You have two different group of people.
- 10:40You have the ones that said they want.
- 10:43Like a woman will say, I'm bringing my vajayjay to the
- 10:46table. But even if you're bringing that
- 10:49to the table, what are you? Can you take care of yourself?
- 10:53Because at the end of the day, it is if you marry somebody that
- 10:58has not ever taken the responsibility of catering for
- 11:02themselves, not to talk of extending that to maybe the
- 11:08children, to maybe the family, to maybe you as a husband, in
- 11:13case anything happens, there is a danger there.
- 11:16Now that does not mean you cannot marry somebody who is
- 11:18just fresh out of school, who is not working.
- 11:22It is the mentality. It is the mentality.
- 11:27You know, I have cousins, have brothers, I have nephews that I
- 11:32will tell. Listen, you want to get married,
- 11:35the first thing I will ask you is what is she doing?
- 11:38It's not about what money she will bring to the table, but
- 11:42it's just about responsibility. See, if you see somebody who is
- 11:49above 25 and they are not working and they're not doing
- 11:51anything, that person, it's it's a mentality.
- 11:55Something. It's it's all about mentality.
- 11:59Even if you're 25 and you're still in school and you're
- 12:02telling me and you're a student, you're not doing anything.
- 12:05It's a mentality thing. It's not about the job.
- 12:10It's about the mentality. And then you now marry that
- 12:14person thinking, OK, I have money now I can take care of
- 12:17you. You don't have to do anything.
- 12:19You're not thinking about the future.
- 12:22What if they cut off your leg? What if they cut off your hand?
- 12:26What if you lose your job? What if you fall sick?
- 12:30Can that person wake up in the morning, go out there, get a job
- 12:35to cater for the family? Or will that person just be
- 12:38like, oh hey, so when I married you, this was not what I
- 12:41expected. I expected you to take care of
- 12:44everything just the way that Mister's wife is doing.
- 12:47He took care of her, not just her, because according to her,
- 12:51the younger brother has been in the house since 2013, for over
- 12:5510 years now, and he has not gotten a job.
- 12:59According to her, he helps out with things in the house and
- 13:04herself. She's not working.
- 13:07This is the mentality. This is the the, the, the
- 13:11enabling environment that we all support and breathe.
- 13:17Because you're going to say, oh, I cannot marry somebody who's a
- 13:20career woman. No.
- 13:22And she's going to. I'm going out.
- 13:24She's going out. No, that's not going to work.
- 13:26Have you thought about the future One day?
- 13:30You're not going to be there. How are your kids going to be
- 13:34taken care of? One day you're going to lose
- 13:38your job. What is going to happen to the
- 13:42responsibilities in your family? Is your wife going to happily
- 13:46wake up dust whatever CV or dust whatever dust have behind and go
- 13:52out there to get a job? Who should do it?
- 13:55Or will she be like, ah, go and beg you, ask you and your
- 14:00friends, Ask your family, ask this one.
- 14:03Bring money. I am just here to take care of
- 14:05the children. Is that the mentality that you
- 14:08want? There are so many Mr Abu or
- 14:12Mississippi out there and there are younger people who are still
- 14:16going to fall into that category or fall into that situation.
- 14:21I am not saying don't marry. You know you must marry for
- 14:24money. In fact, I am saying marry for
- 14:26money, married for more new, marry for money.
- 14:31But as you'll marry for money, make sure that you yourself, you
- 14:36may not have money but you have the, the, the it's about.
- 14:41It's a mindset thing. It's a mindset thing because
- 14:46some people will tell you, oh I cannot do it. 5000 job, how much
- 14:49is 5005 thousand is not going to do me anything.
- 14:52And they will sit down and no work.
- 14:54But you see somebody else go out there and work for 3000 knowing
- 14:59that OK, I am earning 3000 today, there's a possibility
- 15:02that tomorrow is going to be 5000.
- 15:04There's a possibility that OK, I am just doing this the tomorrow
- 15:08somebody can tell me ohh your energy, this amount of money I
- 15:11will pay you this amount of money you put yourself out
- 15:15there, but you see those ones that will be like, no, my mom
- 15:20must take care of you, my brother.
- 15:23If my brother choose to go out marry that kind of person, that
- 15:27is his business. I would just sit there and be
- 15:29looking. I will see that because
- 15:32definitely I will say something. Before that, I would definitely
- 15:37say something. But you choose.
- 15:40You know you are, you are Mr and Mississippi will be dealing with
- 15:43that situation. I will not.
- 15:45I will not. In fact, I will not lose sleep.
- 15:48I will not lose sleep. Let us learn from things.
- 15:53Don't go and marry missus ebu. Don't go and marry missus IBU.
- 15:57Regardless of how much you're making, make sure that your wife
- 16:00is out there doing one or two things, like you doing
- 16:06something. You don't know what's going to
- 16:08happen to you. You don't know if you're going
- 16:10to lose a limb, you don't know if you're going to lose your
- 16:13job. You don't know if something's
- 16:16life. And it's an example that will be
- 16:19setting for the next generation. When people hear generational
- 16:22curse, they will think it is well, old woman cooking
- 16:26something, turning everything and putting people's name in
- 16:29that port. No, it is what your kids that
- 16:33they are going to emulate and if missus IBU and Mr Ibu these are
- 16:37the example they are setting for their children, this is it is
- 16:40going to pass on to the next generation and the next
- 16:43generation. Until somebody break that cycle
- 16:47it will. It's a vicious cycle.
- 16:49It's a vicious cycle that keeps the poor, poor and the rich
- 16:54getting richer. Like I said, we can only learn
- 16:57from these things. We are looking at that
- 17:01generation. Our thinking oh this is far off
- 17:05Mr Abu Mississippi is this but a lot of missus IBU are sitting
- 17:11down keyboard warriors criticising her but they are in
- 17:15the same situation. They don't get it because the
- 17:19husband right now is providing everything and he hasn't
- 17:23registered that they are in the same situation.
- 17:27It hasn't registered anyway. We can only advise people we
- 17:31cannot possible to do anything. You have a choice.
- 17:34You have the right to do whatever you want to do.
- 17:38All you can do is come out online and cry and beg.
- 17:41Those that can help you will help you.
- 17:43Those that cannot help you will pray for you.
- 17:47I wish you all the best because there are kids involved in this
- 17:50whole mess and there's an it's very sick, you know Legend and
- 17:56we're praying for his quick recovery.
- 17:58Both at the end of the day learn from these things.
- 18:03It's about the lessons. Learn.
- 18:05No, I know. Hmm.
- 18:07Anyway, today's episode is once again sponsored by the DPC
- 18:10Weeks. This is a 12 inch Bob and I am
- 18:15loving it. It's giving me life.
- 18:17We sell wholesale and retail. So let us know if you want
- 18:21something like this. We get you sorted.
- 18:23Thank you very much. Please like, like, like and
- 18:25share. Thank you very much.
- 18:26Bye. Bye.
