Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #130 - Rogan, Peterson, Pool, & O'Connor Headed Toward Christianity
Transcript
- 0:00Okay, so is Joe Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Tim Poole, and Alex O'Connor.
- 0:07I am going to say something that is a little out there, but I hope you hang with me.
- 0:12Are they the new faces of Christianity and the culture and where we are headed?
- 0:18My name is Brandon Fogel. This is Evolution. Let's dive into this.
- 0:21So there has been a lot of talk about these guys and their different journeys
- 0:26of where they're at. We got Alex O'Connor overseas in the UK representing that
- 0:31side of the Western world.
- 0:32We got Jordan Peterson from Canada, and we got our homegrown Joe Rogan and Tim
- 0:36Poole from the United States of America.
- 0:39Now, this is the West in action, but I see that these guys are coming very,
- 0:43very close to Christianity and embracing Christianity.
- 0:48They're all, you know, everybody's different, you know, and where they're going
- 0:51to end up and land and how soon they will get there.
- 0:55I think that all these guys are on that road, on that path.
- 1:00But Tim Pool and Jordan Peterson have both said they are not claiming to be Christian.
- 1:07Tim Pool has outright said, I am not a Christian. And we're going to look at this.
- 1:11And I would say that if they're not saying they're Christian,
- 1:14they're not Christian, they aren't Christian, you know.
- 1:15But this, I want to bring this up because this is a bigger ethos,
- 1:20zeitgeist issue that we are experiencing, that there has been a complete turn
- 1:25and flip that Christianity is almost now the popular sport. It's now the popular game.
- 1:32It's where the popular kids go and that the popular kids are talking about.
- 1:37And even even the very intellectual, smart people are talking about this.
- 1:42And I think it is the different worldviews that are out there.
- 1:46They end up leaving you high and dry.
- 1:49When you take them out to their full conclusion, you dive into meaninglessness,
- 1:55and it doesn't explain really everything, all the questions that we have in our hearts as humans.
- 2:02Jordan Peterson, he was on Jubilee yesterday, going against,
- 2:07surrounded by atheists, I think it's 20 atheists all around him,
- 2:10and there were a couple soundbites,
- 2:12a couple big ones, and one that he said, I am not a Christian,
- 2:16or he said, I'm not claiming that.
- 2:18But the guy was pressing him saying you're going
- 2:21to a catholic church well are you a christian or
- 2:24not you know and he i think he made an ass of himself this guy
- 2:27who did it you know but he got a soundbite it was
- 2:30the leading thing of the the hook going into the video and it got jordan peter
- 2:35say that i'm not claiming that george i almost blended all their names together
- 2:39joe joe george and I think I went Joe and then Jordan and I came out with George.
- 2:48Maybe that's what you get.
- 2:49George Washington, a new adventure, embarking on a new course in Christian history.
- 2:55This is very intriguing to me because if these guys come into Christianity,
- 3:00if they do actually embrace Christ and give their lives to him,
- 3:04will they bring a lot of the baggage that they have from their,
- 3:09that they have been living through their whole life in the popular sphere of
- 3:14influence that they have.
- 3:15And I think this reminds me of as we had lockdowns, you know,
- 3:20in this country and people fled certain cities because there was freedom just
- 3:24being taken away and everything being just ripped out of their hands and they couldn't have life.
- 3:30They fled to the free states and people have done that and went in droves to Florida and Texas.
- 3:36A lot of them, they bring with them a lot of baggage and a lot of ideology with them.
- 3:40And this isn't to say because I want to be very, very precise in what I'm saying,
- 3:46because anyone that comes to Christianity carries with them baggage.
- 3:52We are all messed up. This is a camp that people are just being bled dry. They're dying.
- 4:01I'm thinking in war, a war zone, a medic camp, this is where the people go to get healed up.
- 4:07So they've been out in the battlefield, they've been shot at and everything,
- 4:10the things of life, and they're coming there to get healed and all cleaned up,
- 4:14and it's messy in here. It's messy in Christianity.
- 4:17And something that, I want to dive into this real quick, that Tim Pool had a
- 4:22sit-down with Bill Maher, and it was just released yesterday,
- 4:26and it was the first time I'd really seen Tim Pool give his,
- 4:30it felt like his heart felt what drove him away from Christianity and his viewpoints
- 4:37now in understanding God. So let's take a look at this.
- 4:41He's going to bring it up in a couple of different ways. We're going to take
- 4:43a couple of different angles at it and looking at this.
- 4:45So this is what pushed Tim Pool away. And I really want to address this and talk about this.
- 4:50Yeah. You know, and I'm not Christian and I have a lot of friends who are and I don't care.
- 4:55But what are you? You said you were going on this before. You were like,
- 4:58I'm not a deist. I'm not a deist.
- 5:00But you're not an atheist anymore. No, I'm not an atheist. So what do you believe
- 5:04in? I don't think God exists, but I don't believe in any scriptures or anything like that.
- 5:07I think man is fallible and to write down books and then claim it's the word of God is silly.
- 5:11So how long were you an atheist, and what did we do wrong not to keep you?
- 5:14I went to Catholic school, and there you go.
- 5:18I went to catechism. Well, I didn't do that. At fifth grade,
- 5:22I left. And so what happened for me in Catholic school was they taught me nothing.
- 5:25They showed me a video of Adam riding a brontosaurus. I'm not joking.
- 5:28I went to the museum. He doesn't believe—he believes in God.
- 5:32He's no longer an atheist. So we've got him that much closer.
- 5:36Or just his worldview is kind of shifting, you know? He's open to the idea of
- 5:41there being a God because this world can't be explained by just naturalistic evolution.
- 5:46But then he is turned away by seemingly fantasy fairy tales that he was brought up in, in the church.
- 5:53And I get that. I get that. Because when you think of, you go to a nursery in
- 5:58a church and you got Noah's Ark, you know, paintings on the wall, you know, all that.
- 6:02And it just looks all so cute and so nice. when really when we dive into the
- 6:06story as intellectual human grown-up people it just.
- 6:11It wasn't a cute story happening right there.
- 6:14And I think we lose the deeper meaning of the story when we just try to church it up a little bit.
- 6:22And I think we church up a lot of things. But I was thinking about like Moses
- 6:27writing something, an account of how God brought everything into the world.
- 6:33People that are brilliant and smart and able to communicate well,
- 6:37they are able to simplify in the smallest terms, so that it is understandable.
- 6:43And I think that is what is happening in the book of Genesis at the beginning,
- 6:46the garden of Eden, everything happened in the snake, the Adam and Eve,
- 6:50you know, that story that happened.
- 6:51I think it was a real account, but Moses is putting, there's a lot of more,
- 6:55there's other things going on than just a scientific tube method of this is
- 7:00like, if we had a video camera rolling, how was Moses going to capture that
- 7:04and writing it down and how God speaks everything into existence.
- 7:09He has a stronger poetic parallelism that is happening that he's trying to communicate
- 7:16huge things that are memorable to everybody. They don't have a printing press
- 7:20like five, 4,000 years ago.
- 7:22They don't have that. They don't have somebody able to, they don't have the
- 7:26ability to get on a podcast and listen to things, but they had somebody that
- 7:30would read something to him and it was just said over and over.
- 7:33And in those terms, he wrote the seven days or the six days that happened,
- 7:37God creates the heavens and the earth. He forms and then he fills everything.
- 7:42And it was just a way that those Israelites could remember the people of Israel.
- 7:46They could remember how God put it all together.
- 7:49If we had a video camera of God creating everything, what would it have looked like?
- 7:55I think the closest picture would be the book of Genesis.
- 7:59And it was the best way that God could have communicated. He's writing through Moses.
- 8:05The Holy Spirit is inspiring the pen of Moses that is writing it down.
- 8:09So it is tough because, oh, the dinosaurs and all that, you know,
- 8:13I'm getting more and more into understanding like what the, like the fossil
- 8:18record and finding out what those things are and all that,
- 8:21you know, and even the person that knows so much about it, you know,
- 8:24you only know just a little tip of the iceberg of really what's going on and
- 8:29really what the only thing we could have would be the tip of the iceberg of
- 8:32what actually happened in history.
- 8:35But let's continue, because this is very interesting in what Tim describes.
- 8:39In Religious, where they have the exhibit of Jesus on the Brontosaur. Exactly. Yeah.
- 8:45So they were trying to, so they told us that the dinosaurs were too big to fit
- 8:48on the ark, and the unicorns were too rambunctious.
- 8:51Not kidding, children, unicorns were dancing and ran away from the ark.
- 8:53And I'm like, so I remember this. Oh, that's why they didn't survive.
- 8:58That's right. I see. One formative moment was when I asked my fifth grade teacher.
- 9:03Can't argue with logic. Right.
- 9:05So the Big Bang was, we were learning it, fifth grade science. Really?
- 9:08Yeah. Good for you. Catholic school. And I asked my teacher,
- 9:12if the universe was in a single point and then expanded outward,
- 9:16is it possible that, I raised my hand and asked this, is it possible that at
- 9:19some point it stops and then comes back in?
- 9:21And she went, I don't know, moving on. And I was furious.
- 9:26Why? Who does know that? It's called the Big Crunch Theory.
- 9:29And it okay so you never know the words you say how they will drastically impact
- 9:36the direction of someone's life this teacher might have just been having a bad
- 9:40day who knows she didn't want to go into it she's dealing with kids all day
- 9:44you know her she's tearing her hair out and she just.
- 9:49Easily just brushes off tim's genuine
- 9:52inquiry because he's at the the age
- 9:55where he's starting to think about things that early on people do that you know
- 9:59there's people out there that when they're young they're really starting to
- 10:04make sense of they're they're coming into more and more consciousness I guess
- 10:09and he has this just this authentic question he asks the big bang,
- 10:13and then the teacher's just like I don't know and he says like could it have
- 10:16contracted you know the big crunch theory you know he didn't say all of that
- 10:20he probably didn't know about all of that but he was trying to understand this
- 10:23world and he might have heard something on you know National Geographic or something,
- 10:27you know, that sparked his interest about this.
- 10:29And she just just dismissed it completely.
- 10:33And I don't think you can ever really ever just dismiss somebody's question,
- 10:37because if they press you enough, they're real.
- 10:39They're going to get out of you how genuine to the core you are.
- 10:43Are you because I'm I'm of the opinion that.
- 10:46That if I want truth, if somebody wants to press me and I start getting defensive,
- 10:52or I just don't want to hear it, I might not have that good of an argument and
- 10:56I might not be willing to listen.
- 10:58My eyes might be shut from hearing another viewpoint.
- 11:01And this teacher, her doing that changed the course of history for Tim Pool.
- 11:07But I also want to say that people within the church, people in the church tick me off.
- 11:13People in the church I don't get along with all the time.
- 11:16Just because you come in, you're
- 11:18a Christian doesn't mean that you're no longer a sinful human being.
- 11:22You're still a sinful piece of crap. You know, you are.
- 11:26And I know we want to make it seem like people are good. People are good.
- 11:32But if Jesus said that we are evil and he knew the things that were in us,
- 11:36he knew the sinful hearts that we have.
- 11:39If the man of the God, the God man said that, then it's true.
- 11:44So this teacher, she said something, but I mean, I don't want him to think that
- 11:50that should change everything because she said it. She is the authority in his life.
- 11:55If it just got him to question it, that's great. That's good.
- 11:59Because if we're open to truth, I think you will always land and end up.
- 12:04If you are genuinely open to truth, you will end up at Christ. Always.
- 12:08You will always end up at Christ because he is truth incarnate.
- 12:11And I know that's just an assertion. That's just a claim. But I believe it's
- 12:16true. I believe that is the truth.
- 12:18You know, not everybody's going to get on board with that and align with that.
- 12:22But I think there is evidence.
- 12:23And I think that this shift in our culture that is happening,
- 12:26people, people are their eyes are being opened.
- 12:29They're looking to Christianity because it has become cool in a sense.
- 12:33In a sense, it has become the popular talking point.
- 12:38But I want to continue because at the end of this, Tim Poole,
- 12:41he's actually going to bring up, and I think he starts getting,
- 12:44he starts opening his heart a little bit to Bill Maher and what he really believes
- 12:49about God and this world.
- 12:51And he starts going into the idea of consciousness, that we all have consciousness.
- 12:56And they go on this whole, this little discussion about entropy,
- 13:01you know, and how everything goes to randomness. You park your car in the garage
- 13:05and you leave it there for a few years. It's not going to get better.
- 13:10Even though it might be in the garage and safe, it's not going to be as good
- 13:14as it was when you first put it in there.
- 13:16For some reason, things in our world, they start breaking down.
- 13:21This coffee that I have, it's cooling down as we speak. It's no longer hot.
- 13:27Not as hot as I'd like. But you can get warmers out there that will keep your
- 13:30coffee hot. That's defying the laws of physics.
- 13:34But they go on this whole tangent about entropy and all that.
- 13:37And then this is where Tim, he actually opens up and he starts going into the
- 13:42consciousness realm and how if there's consciousness with us,
- 13:46then wouldn't that mean there's something out there with consciousness above us?
- 13:52He's going to go from the lesser to the greater. From two weeks ago,
- 13:56some people live in that. I can't. I have to always retard entropy.
- 14:00But so that is negative entropy, which can only exist. Yeah.
- 14:03So what is negative entropy? Exactly what you described.
- 14:05Oh, fixing it. Yeah. But that can only exist within a greater system of entropy.
- 14:11And so I'm reading this and I started reading about how matter coalesces.
- 14:17You know, hydrogen becomes helium, it diffuses the greater elements and things like that.
- 14:21The elements become compounds, becomes, you know, chemical compounds,
- 14:24becomes single cellular life, becomes multicellular organisms.
- 14:27I kind of view it like, on top of that, fire.
- 14:31We know it exists, we can make it. And what is fire? It's the releasing of energy
- 14:34from carbon and oxygen slammed together and the energy gets released.
- 14:38And the energy was stored from solar energy, which we view as some type of fire.
- 14:43It's fusion, which we're watching in the sky, but it works similarly, right?
- 14:47And so then my thought was, consciousness exists, at least I can say for myself
- 14:51because I experience it.
- 14:51But if consciousness is a component that exists within the universe, it's a component
- 14:55mathematically, like in the code of the universe, same as fire,
- 14:59is there probability of a higher form of consciousness?
- 15:03Yes, completely. Just like fire can be a forest fire, can be a star,
- 15:07or even a gigantic supermassive black hole.
- 15:10Consciousness exists in the universe as a component of the universe.
- 15:14Thus, the universe experiences consciousness. So I wonder if God,
- 15:18then, is not scripture-based, but that there is something beyond our singular consciousness.
- 15:23You get where I'm trying to go with it? I don't know. I think it's really deep
- 15:26for a redneck. I really. I'm from Chicago.
- 15:30Okay, right there. I don't think this is not scriptural, Tim.
- 15:33I think this is, you can pull this out of scripture.
- 15:38If you really get into, I don't know if, I don't know how much Tim has read
- 15:42the Bible, but I know a lot of things change when you start really reading it and going through it.
- 15:49And, you know, book by book, you know, it is a library of books.
- 15:52But i think you can extrapolate that that god
- 15:55is a conscious being and there are things that
- 15:58that used to describe god you know it almost
- 16:00in human terms but it's a way that like like
- 16:04i said if you had a father if everybody's got a father everybody's got a father
- 16:07or parents or a mother when they're a little child that little that that adult
- 16:12parent needs to speak almost in a lower language to communicate with the child
- 16:18if they just start using huge words the little kid's not even going to know with it, know about it.
- 16:23And if, even if a baby, you do the goo goo, gaga or whatever,
- 16:26I never really did that much, but like I didn't, I don't speak in the same way
- 16:30that like, if I'm talking to, you know, a person I work with or something like that.
- 16:35So everybody's got, and I think that the language that used in the Bible,
- 16:38God is communicating to people and him doing that in the, the,
- 16:42the descriptions that gives of God, he is a conscious being.
- 16:46And this whole consciousness thing, the more that I dwell upon it.
- 16:51I would say it's the, that we
- 16:53have spirits, like almost everything in this world that has made animals,
- 16:59plants, you could, you could in a way say that they have a soul,
- 17:03but there is a unique thing where humans are breathed into them, the life of God.
- 17:09And then that is the spirit in the Bible. It talks about when you die,
- 17:13like the animals, they're, they die and they go to, they go to the ground,
- 17:17you know, but it says that humans die and their spirit goes to be with the Lord.
- 17:21There is something that transcends this small window of space and time that
- 17:26we have that is going to last beyond the grave.
- 17:30And I think that consciousness is that spirit that people have.
- 17:34Everybody's got it. We can't deny that we are thinking about things.
- 17:39And just the idea that we're thinking about things should cause you to really think about stuff.
- 17:44Because why am I reasoning, why am I even talking about a higher being out there?
- 17:52There's got to be something different between just humans than animals.
- 17:56The animals aren't out there looking to God or why they came into the world, but humans are.
- 18:04We somehow reached and attained this level of conscious awareness.
- 18:08And Tim was taking it from the lesser to the greater.
- 18:11And I think Bill, he got lost a little bit in it.
- 18:14And you'd almost have to listen to it over and over of what is driving Tim's viewpoint.
- 18:20And he said earlier in it, he would say the things about scripture and all that,
- 18:25he thinks that it's silly and none of that is going to sway him and make him
- 18:29believe in God or the Bible or Christ.
- 18:31They're just writings of people. There is a unique thing that is different between
- 18:36the Bible and every other holy book that is out there. The Quran,
- 18:40the Book of Mormon, all that.
- 18:41There is a very big difference between the Bible and all of those other ones.
- 18:46Those other ones were created in a small window of time, a very small window of time.
- 18:53Muhammad wrote the book within his lifetime. He spoke it. You know,
- 18:56he was illiterate, but he spoke and he had people write it down.
- 18:59And the Book of Mormon was just created by one guy, Joseph Smith.
- 19:02You know, and then they had these other books that were compiled a little bit.
- 19:05But within this very short window of time, the Bible is so different because
- 19:09it was written over 1,500 years, 1,500 years. America has not even been United
- 19:15States for like more than 250.
- 19:18And this book that was 66 books written by 40 different authors in three separate
- 19:26continents. I know the continents are really close together,
- 19:28but three separate continents from all walks of life.
- 19:31And they put together, and this just came supernaturally together.
- 19:35It had to have been supernatural.
- 19:36It does not contradict when you, because you can say, oh, it contradicts itself in certain ways.
- 19:41When you really get down to it, it is minuscule. if you could even say there
- 19:46is a seemingly contradiction in the Bible. Very minuscule.
- 19:50Nothing fundamental, nothing really drastically changes when you really look at it.
- 19:55So I hope Tim Poole, he starts, he looks into, I'm sure he's read it.
- 19:59He might have said he's read it before.
- 20:01But when people have brought up scripture or things about the Bible,
- 20:04he does look like it is new information to him.
- 20:08Because a lot of people, people get sound bites from the Bible because it's,
- 20:12unless you really, unless you believe what it is, it's hard to really get absorbed into it.
- 20:18It's just another book that's out there, a long book that has certain things
- 20:21that like can really be seem boring if you don't know what you're looking at.
- 20:27Now, these guys, I needed to talk about the, the, the Alex O'Connor,
- 20:30he just had a, an awesome sit down last week, or it was released last week of John Lennox,
- 20:35who is a, a Christian, an Irish Christian, a brilliant person,
- 20:38and they had a very good conversation and went into so many.
- 20:42I think it was just Alex has completely changed his demeanor and his approach to this stuff.
- 20:48And it seems by the video, he is getting warmed up more and more because he
- 20:55knows almost from both sides, he could spout the talking points from both sides.
- 21:00And he didn't press John Lennox that much in certain ways, but he,
- 21:06but John Lennox on the same way he said, I didn't press the things that are in the back of my mind.
- 21:12I didn't press them as well on you to challenge your viewpoints and taking them
- 21:17to their logical conclusion, because this is your podcast.
- 21:20And they went into so many different things, but like, I just go to that.
- 21:24I say that because it seems like every video he comes, he's just, he's playing with fire.
- 21:30Every video he's playing with the fire of God and he's, and the closer you get to it.
- 21:37You know, it is that, what nature do you have? Do you have the clay nature that
- 21:42you're gonna be hardened by the fire?
- 21:43Or do you have that wax nature that you're gonna be melted and absorbed into the fire?
- 21:49And that's where like anybody that's outside and looking in,
- 21:53you could say, be praying for people's hearts because God is the only one that
- 21:57can change people's hearts.
- 21:59And so many times Alex is always talking about, there's no free will and all this.
- 22:03And I kind of agree. I kind of agree that there really isn't when you really
- 22:07like flesh it out. Like, do we have free will?
- 22:11I mean, I'm choosing to pick up this cup of coffee. I might even take a drink.
- 22:15Yeah, I did that. Yeah, I did that. But what made me do that?
- 22:19And what is do I have the choice that I like coffee?
- 22:24Like, I think we have the choice to make decisions and do things,
- 22:27but I don't think we have the choice, the ability to change what it is we want.
- 22:32We can't choose our desires. And you might have, there might be something in
- 22:37you that you're like, I wish I wanted to do that.
- 22:39I wish I wanted to get up and go to the gym every day.
- 22:42I wish I wanted to do X, Y, or Z, but you just can't do it.
- 22:47I wish I started liking broccoli. I want to like broccoli.
- 22:50And you can kind of work yourself into it and try to do it as much as you can.
- 22:55But even that, what is the decision before that? Why are you wanting to want to go work out?
- 23:01Why are you wanting to, we live in a world that is all randomness.
- 23:05And it seems like everything is in motion and we're just along for the ride.
- 23:10And I think if you get into it biblically, that is what is happening as well.
- 23:15It says every day of our lives was ordained before one of them came to be.
- 23:21That means every day you're getting up, you're walking into the day that God ordained for you.
- 23:27You're making free choices. You're doing this. You're doing that. But really...
- 23:32It was in the mind of a God from eternity past. I know this might seem silly
- 23:37and nonsense to a lot of people.
- 23:38A lot of people that don't believe in God or the Bible and all that,
- 23:40you know, it's a different wavelength, a different language.
- 23:43And I've been on the side that you're on, if that helps. I haven't always believed this.
- 23:49And I think you got to cross that one hurdle of who is Christ and the resurrection.
- 23:54The resurrection, that was the vindication that he was who he said he was.
- 23:59And he, all the claims about him, you know, and that he was shown to be the
- 24:04son of man, the son of God, his claims, the Christ, all of that.
- 24:09And everything he said, Moses wrote about me, all the prophets,
- 24:13they were writing about me.
- 24:15That is a pretty, you got a high view of yourself, Jesus,
- 24:19a pretty high view of yourself, Jesus, unless you're true,
- 24:24unless what you think about it is correct unless it is true you
- 24:28are a megalomaniac jesus but but
- 24:31these guys jordan peterson you should check out that
- 24:34jubilee video it's very good and he like i
- 24:37said i said in a video i did yesterday i think he just feels unworthy and he
- 24:42wants to so precisely define terms about everything you ask him something what
- 24:48do you believe about that you know or it's like And I don't think he says it
- 24:51when he wants to say it. Well, what do you mean by believe?
- 24:56He doesn't say it all the time. He doesn't say every sentence that somebody
- 24:59is saying to him. He doesn't say it every time, but only certain times.
- 25:03And when I think he wants to, maybe when he's not so sure about himself, he says it.
- 25:08I think there is that sense in that feeling of unworthiness that he doesn't
- 25:13want to claim something that, yeah, it's pretty, I think he has a very high
- 25:17view of God and he wants to if I'm coming to God, I'm coming to Christ.
- 25:21He is doing what the biblical mandate is. Jesus said, before you come to me, count the cost.
- 25:27Before you do it, count the cost. Because otherwise, if you go say,
- 25:31I'm going to go build something and then you don't end up doing it, you look like a fool.
- 25:36If you say, I'm going to start this journey and then you don't follow through
- 25:40with it, you look like a fool.
- 25:41And that's the people, the apostates, that turn their back on Christ and go the other way.
- 25:46And I think Jordan Peterson is very much counting the cost and he doesn't just
- 25:50want to be all in until he is all in.
- 25:52But you got to, this is the triggering word. This is the triggering word.
- 25:57You got to confess Christ. You got to confess him as Lord and not just in your
- 26:02heart, but with your mouth and to people.
- 26:05That if somebody, if you're in church or you're in some building,
- 26:09you're at work, I don't know, this is a pretty bleak and dark or wherever.
- 26:13And somebody comes and says, they're going to kill all the Christians.
- 26:16That will really prove to you who believes and who doesn't. If people come in
- 26:21with guns and they say, we're killing all the Christians.
- 26:24I didn't really believe all that. You know, I was just saying it,
- 26:26you know, I don't believe in all that.
- 26:28And I think, I think Jordan wants to be at that point in his heart and fully
- 26:33devoted before he does that. and I, just that he's open.
- 26:37All these guys I feel are open and they are being warmed up by the Holy Spirit to God and to Christ.
- 26:43And it's just a matter of time. It is just a matter of time.
- 26:48Joe Rogan, he has so much, he is a guy that's been having conversations for
- 26:52years in front of everybody, hearing everything that is out there.
- 26:57He's heard it, you know, from the man on the moon to the, you know,
- 27:00to the mermaids out in the ocean or whatever.
- 27:03He's heard everything, every theory hypothesis or belief structure,
- 27:07he has heard it. It's been presented to him.
- 27:09And that's what's tough because is there truth?
- 27:13You know, with a lot of things, things can just get more and more confusing.
- 27:17People can be ever learning, but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.
- 27:21And I think Joe is getting closer and closer.
- 27:25He's seen that there is more truth into the claims of Christianity than to everything else.
- 27:33And I just, I just know that these guys, if they do come into the church and
- 27:37they do embrace Christ, because the guy that was pressing Jordan Peterson on
- 27:41Jubilee, he was like, you're, I see you're going to a Catholic church.
- 27:43You're going to that. You know, I I'm of the, I'm the, the Catholics don't got everything right.
- 27:49And I don't think the Orthodox got everything right or the Baptist or the,
- 27:53you know, evangelicals or messianic You could go on,
- 27:56you could list it out for days and days of all the different denominations,
- 28:00but not everyone has the sole piece of truth.
- 28:04And that's why the Bible is the sole piece of truth.
- 28:08That's where we can kind of align and what is real and what is not.
- 28:12Everything else you could say is man's opinion.
- 28:15But all right, so I wanted to just go through all this. And if you have any
- 28:19questions or anything like that, put it in the comments. I would love to hear
- 28:21it. And if you, if, if you think I'm on this, if I'm right about this,
- 28:26that these guys, they are the face of the direction of Christianity.
- 28:30And when, when these guys come into it, you know, they're going to bring a lot
- 28:33of baggage in good ways and bad, you know,
- 28:37a lot, they got huge platforms, but then when it, when Christianity is popular
- 28:42and cool, if, if you get drawn to go into a church because they said they're
- 28:46giving out gas cards, when they stopped giving the gas cards,
- 28:49you might not want to go to church anymore,
- 28:51you know, and going to church doesn't make you a Christian.
- 28:54That is just, you know, a thing that you do to, you know, draw closer to people that have like mind.
- 29:00All right, but we'll leave it at that. Have a great day, everyone.
