  they live in the United Kingdom, where they also serve by

  supporting the Diaspora Ministry in Barnsley, England.

  Esteban is deeply passionate about walking alongside those
• 0:45
  who feel called 2 Missions. He enjoys surfing the church
• 0:48
  through discovering, developing and deploying nursery
• 0:51
  missionaries, helping to mobilize and equip new workers
• 0:55
  for the mission field. Today he will speak about why do
• 0:58
  we need missions mobilization? Today I want to invite you to
• 1:02
  reflect on a simply but deeply important question, and that is
• 1:07
  why do we need missions mobilization?
• 1:10
  Many times we think missions are on the responsibility of a few
• 1:13
  people in our churches to our pastors, missionaries or church
• 1:18
  leader. But the book of Roman chapter 10
• 1:20
  presents a very different reality.
• 1:23
  It shows us that missions works like a spiritual chain where
• 1:28
  every individual has an important role to play.
• 1:32
  The apostle Paul right in the chapter 10 verse 13 for everyone
• 1:37
  who calls on the name of the law will be saved.
• 1:42
  This is a great promise that tells us that salvation is
• 1:45
  available for everyone on earth no matter their language,
• 1:49
  culture, nation or social background.
• 1:52
  God desires that everyone can be rich and saved, but immediately
• 1:58
  Paul presents a reality that that it is a challenge for the
• 2:02
  church today. In the verse 14 and 15 he writes
• 2:09
  how bang can they call on the 1:00 they have not believed in
• 2:13
  and how can they believe in the one of whom they have not here?
• 2:19
  And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?
• 2:22
  And how can anyone preach unless they are sent?
• 2:27
  Both here is not questioning the power of God, but instead he's
• 2:33
  showing the responsibility of the church through a clear
• 2:36
  illogical sequence. He's claiming that no one calls
• 2:42
  on Jesus without believing or believing without hearing.
• 2:46
  No one can hear unless someone shared the gospel to them, and
• 2:50
  no one goes unless someone sends them here.
• 2:53
  What we find a powerful truth, and it is that mission is a
• 2:58
  teamwork. God's missions move forward when
• 3:01
  the whole church participate in it, not only the pastor of the
• 3:05
  church leader. That's why we need missions
• 3:08
  mobilization. To mobilize means awaken the
• 3:11
  church to discover its place in the mission of God.
• 3:15
  It means also to helping people to move forward from the
• 3:19
  admiration of the mission, to participate in it.
• 3:23
  Because as long as there are people who have not heard the
• 3:27
  gospel, the mission shall continue.
• 3:30
  And when we think about places of our region, Eurasia, this
• 3:35
  through become even more urgent. There are millions of people who
• 3:39
  still need to hear the message of Jesus.
• 3:44
  There are massive cities with Betty Leader, Christian
• 3:47
  pressing, family searching for hope, John, people trying to
• 3:51
  find purpose, and entire community and generation that
• 3:55
  are desperate for Jesus. And the question remains for us
• 3:59
  today. How will they hear?
• 4:02
  That Reminds me to an illustration from the famous
• 4:05
  David Mays when he said that if a fire broke out in the middle
• 4:09
  of the night, you can do 2 things.
• 4:12
  You can go and grab a buck of water and run towards the fire.
• 4:16
  Or the second is that you can go down in the street, beat in the
• 4:21
  bucket and wake people up so that they would come and help to
• 4:25
  fight the fire. That is exactly what we do as
• 4:28
  mobilizer, because the mobilization of the church is
• 4:31
  not about watching the fire from Destin.
• 4:34
  It's not about assuming someone else will solve the problem.
• 4:39
  A mobilizer awakes the heart of the church to say we are all
• 4:45
  needed because the fire is too big to fight alone.
• 4:49
  And mobilization helps the church to understand that
• 4:53
  someone has to speak, someone has to cross the street, a city,
• 4:58
  a culture or even a border. Roman stand and with a beautiful
• 5:03
  statement. How beautiful are the feet of
• 5:07
  those who brings the good news? God honors those who carry hope.
• 5:13
  And what's interesting is that he doesn't speak about beautiful
• 5:17
  feet. He speaks about willing feet
• 5:21
  fit, willing to cross streets, neighborhoods, cities, cultures
• 5:26
  and nations to proclaim Christ. And today my prayer is that God
• 5:32
  will awaken in us a heart of willing to respond to his
• 5:37
  mission, hearts ready to say, Lord, here I am, use me for your
• 5:43
  glory. I want to leave you with a
• 5:45
  question. What are you doing so that
• 5:48
  someone can hear? Maybe God is calling you to go,
• 5:53
  maybe to pray, to give, to sense, or to encourage other to
• 5:58
  participate in God's mission. But what I'm clear today is that
• 6:04
  God is not calling us to remain as expectators because somewhere
• 6:11
  in the world someone still needs to hear in order to believe.
• 6:15
  Romans chapter 10 leave us with a very clear truth, the mission
• 6:21
  advance when the whole church participates.
• 6:25
  And if throughout this week you have to feel that God is still
• 6:28
  in your heart to take a step towards missions with the Church
• 6:32
