Transcript
- 0:22It's the end of the year, it's New Year's Eve.
- 0:25I'm here with my buddy Pete, and we wanted to take a couple
- 0:29minutes to share something very important with you guys and to
- 0:33thank the listeners on the Days of Noah podcast and on the
- 0:37Millennial Mustard Seed for taking this voyage with us.
- 0:39We're excited for what God has for the future.
- 0:42Pete, it's great to be with you for a mini micro little tiny
- 0:46episode. Yeah, a little wrap up at the
- 0:49end of the year to again, thank each and everyone of you out
- 0:53there. I say it on every intro to my
- 0:58show, thanking each and everyone of you out there and
- 1:01appreciating you. Thank you for your prayers.
- 1:04Thank you for being a listener. Thank you for being a supporter.
- 1:08Stay with us in 2026. There's much more to come, but
- 1:12yeah, Ron and I wanted to read a section from one of Chuck
- 1:17Missler's books, and I actually heard him say this entire quote,
- 1:22and it was so poetic and powerful about who Christ our
- 1:27King is and describing him. I thought he was reading it from
- 1:32somebody else or he was quoting somebody else.
- 1:34But then when I read it in one of his books, and this is
- 1:37actually from the book The Rapture Christianity's Most let
- 1:42me get the exact title here. Most preposterous belief.
- 1:48He uses it towards the end of the book.
- 1:50And I'm like, OK, so Chuck actually did come up with this
- 1:53'cause I don't see any quotations that he got it from
- 1:56anyone else. And it is so powerful about who
- 1:59Christ our King is. And Rod, I actually, I, I, you
- 2:04know, I sent this to you and, and posted it around on online
- 2:08and I, I had printed copies of it and I read it to my family.
- 2:14I had several of my family read it on Christmas just to remember
- 2:19who this, this little child was destined to be.
- 2:25And as God himself in that child.
- 2:27So yeah, why don't you take it away and and I'll pick it up
- 2:31where you leave off reading this powerful section about our king.
- 2:37Our King. He was a prophet before Moses, a
- 2:42priest after Melchizedek, a champion like Joshua, an
- 2:47offering in the place of Isaac, a king from the line of David, a
- 2:51wise counselor above Solomon. He's beloved, rejected, and
- 2:57exalted. Certainly, like Joseph, yet far
- 3:00greater still the heavens declare his glory.
- 3:05The firmament shows his handiwork, He who is now and
- 3:10will always be the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega.
- 3:15He's the aleph and the tav of Hebrew and the A to the Z of
- 3:19English. He's the first fruit of them
- 3:21that slept. He is the I am that I am.
- 3:26Jesus was the voice in the burning Bush.
- 3:28He was the captain of the Lord's host, the Conqueror of Jericho.
- 3:34He's enduringly strong, entirely sincere, eternally steadfast.
- 3:39He's immortally graceful, imperially powerful, impartially
- 3:46merciful. In him dwells the fullness of
- 3:49the Godhead, bodily, the very God of very God.
- 3:54He's our kinsman, Redeemer, and the avenger of blood.
- 4:00He's our city of refuge. He's a performing priest, a
- 4:04personal prophet, our reigning king.
- 4:08He's the loftiest idea in literature, he's the highest
- 4:13personality in philosophy. He's the fundamental doctrine of
- 4:18theology, and he's the supreme problem in higher criticism.
- 4:25He's the miracle of all ages, the superlative of everything
- 4:30good. You and I are the beneficiaries
- 4:33of a love letter. It was written in blood on a
- 4:36wooden cross erected in Judea 2000 years ago.
- 4:41He was crucified on a cross of wood, yet made the hill on which
- 4:45it stood. By him are all things made that
- 4:50were made, and by him are all things held together.
- 4:55What held him to that cross? It wasn't the nails.
- 4:58At any time he could have said enough already.
- 5:01I'm out of here. But he didn't.
- 5:05It was his love for you and me, His amazing love, that held him
- 5:09there. He was born of a woman so that
- 5:13we could be born of God. He humbled Himself so that we
- 5:16could be lifted up. He became a servant so that we
- 5:20could be made joint heirs with him.
- 5:23He suffered rejection so that we could freely receive all things.
- 5:27And he gave himself so that he could bless us in every way He's
- 5:33available to those tempted and tried.
- 5:35He blesses the young. He cleanses the lepers.
- 5:38He defends the feeble. He delivers the captives.
- 5:41He discharges the debtors. He forgives the sinners.
- 5:46He franchises the meek. He guards the besieged.
- 5:51He heals the sick and provides strength to the weak.
- 5:55He regards the aged. He rewards the diligent, He
- 6:00serves the unfortunate, He sympathizes and he saves.
- 6:05His offices are manifold, His reign is righteous, His promises
- 6:09sure, His grace is sufficient, His love never changes, His
- 6:14mercy everlasting, His word enough, and his yoke is easy and
- 6:19burden light. I wish I could describe him to
- 6:22you. He's indescribable,
- 6:26incomprehensible, irresistible, and invincible.
- 6:32The heavens cannot contain him. Man cannot explain him.
- 6:36The Pharisees couldn't stand him, but soon learned they
- 6:40couldn't stop him. Pilate could find no fault in
- 6:44him. The personal representatives of
- 6:46the world found no fault in him either.
- 6:51The witnesses could not agree against him.
- 6:53Herod could not kill him. Death could not handle him.
- 6:57The grave couldn't hold him. He has always been and always
- 7:01will be. He had no predecessor.
- 7:06He will have no successor. You can't impeach him and he
- 7:11ain't going to resign. His name is above every name.
- 7:16At the name of Yeshua, every knee shall bow and every tongue
- 7:20confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
- 7:23It's his Kingdom, His power, and His glory, forever and ever.
- 7:40That's how we conclude the reading out of the book that
- 7:43Pete mentioned by the late Doctor Chuck Missler.
- 7:47And once again, as we close out this year of 2025, year of ups
- 7:54and downs, victories, trials, failures, we hold fast to what
- 8:02Doctor Chuck Missler wrote about our Lord Jesus the Christ.
- 8:08We're satisfied with his plan and his power.
- 8:12Thank you guys so much for taking the journey with the
