- 1:05Speaker 1: so small over there, but like you know, you can
- 1:07Speaker 1: go to like nice in two seconds and you can
- 1:09Speaker 1: go to Monica. And then even though Monica is like
- 1:12Speaker 1: all France, it's a part of France. The way that
- 1:15Speaker 1: that they talk about it is they talk about like
- 1:17Speaker 1: a separate So one street, you're in Monica, you just
- 1:20Speaker 1: hop over to the yellow road and you're now in France.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It was cool, It was beautiful, the Grand Prix and
- 1:26Speaker 1: things just oh yeah Grand Prix. Um Casino Royale where
- 1:29Speaker 1: a double O seven happened. My hotel is right there. Um,
- 1:33Speaker 1: I went with bed. It was a vacation. We're out
- 1:36Speaker 1: here now. I I'm just saying food, so you know
- 1:43Speaker 1: I love yeah, yeah, I eat um so obviously on
- 1:50Speaker 1: the water, so you know, you go for seafood. The
- 1:53Speaker 1: salmon was like the best salmon I've ever had in
- 1:55Speaker 1: my life. It was super good. Um. I didn't eat
- 1:57Speaker 1: anything crazy heavy because it was a lot of walking
- 1:59Speaker 1: and stuff on on. I didn't really you know, I
- 2:01Speaker 1: want to have to use the bathroom and we're crazy
- 2:04Speaker 1: so country. Yeah, so I kept a real light like salad. Um.
- 2:10Speaker 1: They eat a lot of bread. They give you bread
- 2:12Speaker 1: and chocolate. Over there isn't as filling as it is here.
- 2:16Speaker 1: I don't know that I eat a lot of breasts.
- 2:20Speaker 1: I don't know. Yeah, I don't know. I didn't need
- 2:21Speaker 1: a lot of bread either, But when I went over there,
- 2:24Speaker 1: it was like the bread is so good and fresh.
- 2:26Speaker 1: I guess they give one and it doesn't get it
- 2:29Speaker 1: doesn't clogged me up. They're more like airy, I guess
- 2:31Speaker 1: because they're bagats instead of just like full on. I
- 2:35Speaker 1: guess yes, that makes sense, but had a great song
- 2:38Speaker 1: beautiful I'm gonna make you laughing quick white people was
- 2:40Speaker 1: like she was on your snap. She was like, yeah
- 2:42Speaker 1: you ever she said monta call. I was like, yeah,
- 2:44Speaker 1: I want to get me a Monta collar. Talking about
- 2:50Speaker 1: a couple of times it was like a car. I
- 2:53Speaker 1: was like, no, I'm in Monte Carlo. I didn't get
- 2:56Speaker 1: away too so big show. Oh my god, yeah he
- 2:59Speaker 1: could a job. No, we'll never do that. We'll never
- 3:02Speaker 1: do that. But put seas right. But it was good,
- 3:10Speaker 1: great vacation, first real vacation where he didn't have to work.
- 3:14Speaker 1: You know, we've taken trips and stuff, but he's always
- 3:16Speaker 1: had to work. So you've been yeah, yeah, we've been together. Yeah,
- 3:20Speaker 1: you guys, it's not a se Well we always talk
- 3:22Speaker 1: about this. We don't. We don't actually not officially. Yeah,
- 3:26Speaker 1: we we take trips. But but but this was the first,
- 3:29Speaker 1: like like you know, the first time that he didn't
- 3:31Speaker 1: have to work, so that this was like a good
- 3:33Speaker 1: we had a good's okay, we're protected over here, extremely okay, great,
- 3:40Speaker 1: So you were a little vacation to us, I mean,
- 3:42Speaker 1: because it was you went, yeah, but your biggest Hurricanes again.
- 3:50Speaker 1: I seen that. Listen. You know, my favorite team is
- 3:53Speaker 1: Miami Hurricanes. You know what I'm saying, Miami heat in
- 3:55Speaker 1: the Atlanta Falcons ever since I was a kid. For
- 3:58Speaker 1: Father's Day, wife Fie about me tickets to my favorite
- 4:00Speaker 1: football team, Miami Hurricane. So she flew me down to Miami.
- 4:04Speaker 1: That's beautiful. We stayed over and Bill Harbor was super
- 4:07Speaker 1: dope and according to y'all, snap, you was Miami down girl.
- 4:12Speaker 1: You know what. I've always like that. Anyway, we fouled
- 4:17Speaker 1: this down today. Rise up. I got to foul the
- 4:20Speaker 1: socks yesterday. Yes they want Okay, alright, I've been waiting
- 4:23Speaker 1: the Weddy socks too. I ain't gonna. I'm thinking about
- 4:25Speaker 1: switching teams for the Redskins. Fully is already my second
- 4:29Speaker 1: team too. But I'm just letting you know. To understand,
- 4:31Speaker 1: put my sneakers on the screen. I had the Miami
- 4:34Speaker 1: Hurricane sneakers. They were conversed, but you gotta shot them
- 4:37Speaker 1: the video when you did your floral boy thing video
- 4:41Speaker 1: on the screen. You have it, you know what I'm saying.
- 4:45Speaker 1: And then on ball Harbor's not cheak Miami Hurricane's bag.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I had the shirt had I actually had on Miami
- 4:51Speaker 1: Hurricanes draws, but I'm not going, okay, want to see
- 4:54Speaker 1: all that. I was all the way down from hat, shirt, draws,
- 4:58Speaker 1: short socks, and sneaker y'all, y'all really like one. Yeah,
- 5:03Speaker 1: but you know it wasn't a big it wasn't a
- 5:04Speaker 1: big school. But she did a good job. Was expensive
- 5:09Speaker 1: ladies and gentlemen. And that's not that's not you know,
- 5:13Speaker 1: that's not the Bay side of the beach. That is
- 5:15Speaker 1: a little first time. And then I threw up. I
- 5:19Speaker 1: felt so bad. Wait, wait, so all that ship you
- 5:22Speaker 1: showed in your grand look delicious? That Yeah, but you
- 5:25Speaker 1: hadn't had red meat in a while like that, that's
- 5:28Speaker 1: not the first thing you do. Like if you don't,
- 5:30Speaker 1: if you haven't had read me while I haven't had
- 5:32Speaker 1: a bone in a sir line. I'm a really a
- 5:34Speaker 1: steak guy, but I haven't really been on the steaks
- 5:36Speaker 1: as I used to. But it was a bone in
- 5:37Speaker 1: sir line. I'll shout out to us t K Miami
- 5:39Speaker 1: South Beach. That's that bread there with that green Dear
- 5:43Speaker 1: little baby, Jesus, I love lobster was lit to have
- 5:52Speaker 1: sex before you threw it. Oh yeah, that's all. That's
- 5:54Speaker 1: all that. I ain't squirrel, I'm you're a squirrel. That
- 6:00Speaker 1: means that fat me by five rounds, five little rounds,
- 6:12Speaker 1: long round. If you really add up the time, that really,
- 6:15Speaker 1: little kay? Well can you use all the way in Atlanta?
- 6:17Speaker 1: What was you doing? I was busy here, real, little pump,
- 6:22Speaker 1: I was as long we're gonna don't take longer and
- 6:28Speaker 1: longer in relationship. The more you concentrate on get Do
- 6:33Speaker 1: you realize that I give you a fall with night?
- 6:35Speaker 1: But do you realize that the longer you are in
- 6:38Speaker 1: your relationships you want to call? You want to everybody calm,
- 6:43Speaker 1: You'll say, side wife you right now? No, no, I'm
- 6:50Speaker 1: gonna call us. How he is? He not answer? I
- 6:55Speaker 1: hope she does not answer. Please don't answer. I don't
- 6:59Speaker 1: want you to. Okay. If I wasn't like that, I
- 7:05Speaker 1: would never say I was like I would never Yeah, okay,
- 7:15Speaker 1: look at guys, look look at god. I put it out. Okay,
- 7:23Speaker 1: I was giving. I was giving you out right there.
- 7:30Speaker 1: That's that's I mean. If you're talking about what other
- 7:36Speaker 1: other things? Yes, I can believe it, but you're not
- 7:38Speaker 1: you're not pumping four times. I didn't even know what happened. Sorry,
- 7:40Speaker 1: I know, how do we get Okay, I'm sorry. Tell
- 7:43Speaker 1: me about the weekend because I was I was watching
- 7:44Speaker 1: Atlanta and I was like, damn, Attle was on fire.
- 7:47Speaker 1: I w was your house in Charlotte. You know, hows
- 7:53Speaker 1: nothing for them. I want to apologize. I want to apologize,
- 8:00Speaker 1: said everybody who thought I was speaking at the Revolt something.
- 8:03Speaker 1: I was promoting the Revote something because it was coming
- 8:06Speaker 1: to my city and I launched Revote. But I launched
- 8:10Speaker 1: and I was, you know, I felt, you know, I
- 8:12Speaker 1: was a part of the team. And I apologized a
- 8:16Speaker 1: lot of people. I was booked the busy before, so
- 8:20Speaker 1: it did come out of nowhere, and they called me
- 8:22Speaker 1: late in the game so I couldn't readjust and uh,
- 8:26Speaker 1: you know, you know, so I apologize for those who came.
- 8:28Speaker 1: But I had to go speak in Charlotte. It was amazing.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Charlotte is a great place to go and inspire. My
- 8:36Speaker 1: friend Henry Kellum. Last year at the same time we
- 8:38Speaker 1: had Les Brown, him and myself, and this year was
- 8:41Speaker 1: him as the lead speaker and as one of my mentees.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I was super proud of him. He did a great job.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Friday night, I was at the Howard Theater for the
- 8:50Speaker 1: History Makers event. D Nice and I and I had
- 8:54Speaker 1: walked in. And you know, politicians, they don't really just
- 8:57Speaker 1: turn up just you know what I'm saying, because they
- 8:59Speaker 1: won't turn it. They have to be uh coerced. They
- 9:04Speaker 1: don't want to get caught on camera because they might
- 9:06Speaker 1: have a political future. But when Kenny Burns D Nice
- 9:08Speaker 1: show up, it's kind of unavoidable. Yeah, Nice and burn So,
- 9:12Speaker 1: so we thank you for my name first, but he's old,
- 9:15Speaker 1: um so yeah we we basically um hello. But anyway,
- 9:22Speaker 1: so we killed that joint, bought Ronnie to vote up.
- 9:24Speaker 1: You know, they're about to celebrate thirty years at the
- 9:26Speaker 1: Poison alum, so we did the whole poison routine with
- 9:28Speaker 1: him rolling Martin and I with the weird ship. Everybody
- 9:30Speaker 1: was fun. And Saturday night we were at that world
- 9:32Speaker 1: famous park at four team Man, it was a stone culture.
- 9:36Speaker 1: You just to come out home coming. I was gonna
- 9:38Speaker 1: tell both of you all that if you're not listen,
- 9:41Speaker 1: if you're not booked the tent through the fourteen October,
- 9:44Speaker 1: I will I will pay for your to come. If
- 9:46Speaker 1: y'all want to come because y'all got an experience. Yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: y'all gotta, y'all gotta experience that. But um, yeah, it
- 9:51Speaker 1: was an incredible weekend. I got back yesterday. Did oh.
- 9:54Speaker 1: I did the Women's Wine and Shoe event. I saw
- 9:58Speaker 1: that at the brand Hide and Buckheat. First of all,
- 10:00Speaker 1: big shout to the North Side Hospital and their charity,
- 10:05Speaker 1: because they do amazing events. As my second time host
- 10:08Speaker 1: in one, but this one in particular was women wine Isshoes,
- 10:12Speaker 1: and it was it was amazing. And they have like
- 10:15Speaker 1: cancer survivors that come out and celebrate and they have
- 10:17Speaker 1: the you know the many years they've been cancer free,
- 10:20Speaker 1: and they have all these you know these things, and
- 10:22Speaker 1: then they have the wine. I mean, the wine was
- 10:24Speaker 1: out of this world. I mean they gave away packages
- 10:25Speaker 1: to Los Cabos and Napa Valley and all these different places.
- 10:29Speaker 1: But it was quite the experience. And I must say
- 10:32Speaker 1: that I support them and will continue to do their
- 10:34Speaker 1: events because it was honestly honored to see the gift back.
- 10:38Speaker 1: I think they raised like five dollars plus yeah, whatever,
- 10:42Speaker 1: So people bought tickets, tickets, They had businesses there that
- 10:47Speaker 1: you can know, auctionable items and have different things. There
- 10:49Speaker 1: was a Sidlin auction. It was a public auction. That
- 10:51Speaker 1: was they had a silent auction. So I think all
- 10:54Speaker 1: of all thee's probably did around a hundred fifty grant
- 10:56Speaker 1: just in that city, and it was it was a
- 10:58Speaker 1: great look. I know what it is about side on options,
- 11:00Speaker 1: but they always just seem so like a preschelan to me. Yeah,
- 11:03Speaker 1: because you know, some people don't want to like put
- 11:05Speaker 1: that thing out. They spent ten thousand or spent I
- 11:08Speaker 1: think people And you know, I'm glad you said that
- 11:10Speaker 1: because at Jessy's inaugural Foundation joint, you know, you had tears.
- 11:15Speaker 1: So if you want to do it, it just's tear you.
- 11:17Speaker 1: So when you got down to the thousand dollar tier,
- 11:19Speaker 1: I think more people would have probably did it silently
- 11:22Speaker 1: than public because then me, after you say ten seventy
- 11:25Speaker 1: five and five and you go down a thousand like that,
- 11:26Speaker 1: I don't want to like the one that ain't got
- 11:28Speaker 1: no brand trying, you know, but I guess it's really
- 11:30Speaker 1: what you can afford. You should never feel bad about
- 11:33Speaker 1: giving to a charity. Charity and ladies and gentlemen, now,
- 11:36Speaker 1: first case you missed it. Ladies and gentlemen, Popeye's wants
- 11:44Speaker 1: you to be why ob Now, I just don't understand
- 11:49Speaker 1: what the fun is going on in society when a
- 11:52Speaker 1: chain like Popeye's tells you to bring your own one.
- 11:57Speaker 1: Have y'all had the damn chicken sandwich? I don't ain't
- 11:59Speaker 1: even had were bringing your own? But I guess that's
- 12:01Speaker 1: the first question. Honestly, check better than me too. Then
- 12:06Speaker 1: Popeye's it's good though it's not bad. It's not the bad.
- 12:09Speaker 1: I can eat your skin, chicken, I can't eat your skin. Yeah,
- 12:12Speaker 1: I think that. I think we talked about that, where
- 12:14Speaker 1: the Popeye's one is just like the batter is thigger.
- 12:17Speaker 1: There's a lot of crunch that you get to before
- 12:19Speaker 1: you get to like the meat of the chicken. Some
- 12:21Speaker 1: people like the crunch time. Yeah, I think it just
- 12:23Speaker 1: depends on what you're going for, you know, bringing my
- 12:26Speaker 1: own bun to No, no, the entire nowhere, no restaurant
- 12:29Speaker 1: not bringing my own bun as well, go to chick
- 12:34Speaker 1: filain speaking of Chick fil a, is that's nothing to
- 12:38Speaker 1: do with Chick fil a actually, but Lebron will not
- 12:40Speaker 1: own the trademark for taco to damn Like I'm sorry, Yeah,
- 12:46Speaker 1: because Lebron Janet you need to trademark that. But would
- 12:55Speaker 1: you not say that he made it famous? No? So
- 12:59Speaker 1: you don't think if you went to a viral that
- 13:02Speaker 1: before him? Who viral? He was doing it before Tacco
- 13:08Speaker 1: Thusday is already viral. Yeah, not arguing that, I'm saying
- 13:11Speaker 1: who made it? No? Not, it was already has a song? Okay,
- 13:18Speaker 1: so has anyone had a Taco Tuesday video or something
- 13:21Speaker 1: that went viral? Is what you cause Taco Tuesday is
- 13:24Speaker 1: already tinge. There's already thing. We're not saying that. We're
- 13:28Speaker 1: not saying saying who made a Taco Tuesday video or something.
- 13:32Speaker 1: I'm saying who made it uber popular? Oh? I don't know,
- 13:36Speaker 1: because Taco Tuesday was already Yeah, I'm having a taco alright.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I'm just fighting they mean you they made it famous
- 13:45Speaker 1: because it's like a Taco Tuesday everywhere. Yeah, alright, alright,
- 13:51Speaker 1: great ladies, gamin terians. Howard will be retiring from Hollywood
- 13:54Speaker 1: after Empire and uh yeah after. I find that very
- 13:58Speaker 1: interesting because he's a great actor. He's been in some
- 14:01Speaker 1: of my favorite movies, and to not have him on
- 14:04Speaker 1: the Silver Spring silver screen, I don't know how I
- 14:08Speaker 1: feel about that. I don't think his retirement would last long, boyd.
- 14:12Speaker 1: I think, but you know, hell maybe you know sometimes people, Yeah,
- 14:17Speaker 1: I think it's gonna be a little break. But I
- 14:19Speaker 1: also I don't see him like never being involved. I
- 14:21Speaker 1: think he's going to either be like on the producing
- 14:23Speaker 1: side or directing side. But I guess maybe if you're
- 14:26Speaker 1: talking about him being on screen, then I don't see
- 14:31Speaker 1: I don't know how I feel. Though Terce Howard has
- 14:34Speaker 1: a lot of adult movies. He probably feels like, you know,
- 14:38Speaker 1: have you seen a real good black movie that that
- 14:42Speaker 1: wasn't like predicting, like Boys in the Hood, like Brown Sugar,
- 14:47Speaker 1: Like where's the last time you see like a classic
- 14:49Speaker 1: black movie? I think those are Yeah, I like that question.
- 14:53Speaker 1: I don't know, because that's what he's known for, like
- 14:56Speaker 1: those classics. Best man say that, but because if you
- 15:00Speaker 1: look at like the narrows and you know what I'm saying, like,
- 15:03Speaker 1: I think he's like a de Niro to not tell us,
- 15:05Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, So how do you like
- 15:07Speaker 1: leave the game? Like I want you to be old
- 15:09Speaker 1: and ship But he probably all you know, he probably
- 15:14Speaker 1: is seeking like different types of roles, and he's just
- 15:16Speaker 1: not getting Terence. If you go out here and stop
- 15:19Speaker 1: acting and decide to just sing um, you know that's
- 15:23Speaker 1: not gonna work. Right. I'm just saying I didn't just
- 15:25Speaker 1: saying he's a much better actor. I want you to
- 15:28Speaker 1: fulfill your creative dreams, but he's a much better actor.
- 15:30Speaker 1: Let me ask you a question. Who's gone. What do
- 15:32Speaker 1: y'all think about Jamie Foxx? Who he is a better
- 15:34Speaker 1: actor or singer? He's a better actor by far. Yeah,
- 15:40Speaker 1: I blame it on the goose. I'm not here. I think,
- 15:43Speaker 1: I think, I agree. Yeah, we're not a pigeon holding anybody.
- 15:50Speaker 1: He's going to pursue. It was a joke, but he sings,
- 15:53Speaker 1: and I just you know, creatives, creating has great music
- 15:59Speaker 1: and context. He tells it, but I catches it any
- 16:09Speaker 1: I speaking of catching it all, Ladies and gentlemen. Arizona
- 16:12Speaker 1: State trooper arrested on sixty one counts of sexual related,
- 16:16Speaker 1: kidnapping and fraud charges. And the cold ship is he black?
- 16:21Speaker 1: That sounds like somebody else? Like another you know, I
- 16:25Speaker 1: like what what? I don't know? I am he probably
- 16:29Speaker 1: has white friends in the academy that do all that
- 16:31Speaker 1: get away with it, and he felt like he could
- 16:33Speaker 1: do Yeah, he felt like he could do you know
- 16:36Speaker 1: what his white friends get away with. Let me tell
- 16:39Speaker 1: you something, You're always gonna be the look now you're
- 16:40Speaker 1: talking black guy in those situations, okay, like you cannot
- 16:43Speaker 1: be a black man like, oh, all my friends and
- 16:45Speaker 1: why are gonna do what they're doing? You're going to
- 16:47Speaker 1: go down first? Okay, but I'm gonna up. Let's talk
- 16:49Speaker 1: about this. I haven't heard of a story like that
- 16:54Speaker 1: by police officers at all yet. I'm just saying, do
- 16:58Speaker 1: you think it's because he's black things out? I mean,
- 17:00Speaker 1: clearly he's done the crime he should do at the time.
- 17:02Speaker 1: I'm just saying, no, no, no, he's really guilty. This
- 17:08Speaker 1: point was basically like you get that from your counterparts,
- 17:11Speaker 1: But I haven't heard of anyone else with sixty one.
- 17:14Speaker 1: It's a European people that have done a lot of
- 17:18Speaker 1: crimes that we have not heard about a lot of them.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Because I just saw another black and brown police officer
- 17:23Speaker 1: out of New York get charged for taking a sixteen
- 17:26Speaker 1: year old or something. But then they went to the
- 17:28Speaker 1: sixteen year old page and she had always pretty secure
- 17:30Speaker 1: that I mean she needs to be you know, whatever
- 17:32Speaker 1: they did handcuffed. But I'm just saying I'm starting to
- 17:34Speaker 1: see black and brown. I'm not seeing any day. I
- 17:37Speaker 1: think the police academy is like, Okay, we have to
- 17:40Speaker 1: make sure that we are, you know, putting the bad
- 17:44Speaker 1: guys out like the bad cops out there. But they're
- 17:47Speaker 1: going to pick and choose like who the cops are.
- 17:50Speaker 1: So I think if it's an agenda to make it
- 17:52Speaker 1: look like all the minority officers are the bad ones,
- 17:55Speaker 1: then we'll forget about how bad the Europeans are, right
- 17:59Speaker 1: Saxons Anglo Saxon, where they are the ones shooting black Helloa.
- 18:07Speaker 1: They Felicity Human Huffman sentenced to fourteen days in jail
- 18:12Speaker 1: for her college for the college saying more white privilege. Alright.
- 18:18Speaker 1: I think the lady who was if you're a kid,
- 18:21Speaker 1: you paid her money and then she got your kid
- 18:23Speaker 1: into usc U, c l A, and she paid you
- 18:26Speaker 1: have her test scores. It's all to change change test
- 18:30Speaker 1: scores so they can get into the YA. But I
- 18:34Speaker 1: mean there was a lady Tonya McDowell who was homeless,
- 18:37Speaker 1: and she was so she was staying at a friend's house.
- 18:40Speaker 1: Well she someone allowed her to sleep at her house
- 18:42Speaker 1: at night, but she had to be gone during the
- 18:44Speaker 1: day like a shelter. And so her child, she enrolled
- 18:48Speaker 1: her child into a better school or a better district,
- 18:50Speaker 1: and she got sentenced to five years. Where you do that? No,
- 18:56Speaker 1: but this is my point. Yeah, I'm glad you brought
- 18:57Speaker 1: that up. It's like fourteen days in jail. You know,
- 19:02Speaker 1: the one that defended on the other side of the
- 19:05Speaker 1: other actress. She was arrogant, know what I'm saying. But
- 19:07Speaker 1: she didn't get sent this. Yeah, but she got She
- 19:09Speaker 1: did like five hundred thousand dollars worth of y'all the question,
- 19:13Speaker 1: ain't little kiddy. The reason why I think she probably
- 19:15Speaker 1: won't be sentences as harshly as Huffman is because of
- 19:21Speaker 1: her arrogance. Like she's like, I did what I'm supposed
- 19:23Speaker 1: to do, Like I'm rich, that this is what rich
- 19:25Speaker 1: people do, Like I paid my way. Like she's talking
- 19:27Speaker 1: to people that think just like connected, that she's well connected.
- 19:31Speaker 1: So she's talking to people that are just like her,
- 19:33Speaker 1: which is why she hadn't gotten And you know, sometimes
- 19:36Speaker 1: when you're in that particular field, you may have some
- 19:39Speaker 1: dirt on the judge. Something I don't know if y'all
- 19:42Speaker 1: watched The Family on Netflix, but the Prayer Breakfast she
- 19:46Speaker 1: was there. I'm gonna check out The Family on Netflix.
- 19:48Speaker 1: But you know what, I want to say this, and
- 19:49Speaker 1: I think it's back to your point about like we
- 19:52Speaker 1: got another classic movie I think coming from Lena Wait
- 19:55Speaker 1: than the guy from Get Out about the cop that
- 19:57Speaker 1: they kill basically Body and Clyde. So what's it called this?
- 20:04Speaker 1: Queen and Queen and Slim coming out? Watch that? Um,
- 20:09Speaker 1: I just see Times getting there though, I see Times
- 20:12Speaker 1: get into you know what I'm saying, Like, I'm scared.
- 20:15Speaker 1: I don't know what you're going to do to me,
- 20:16Speaker 1: you know what I mean? Like I have a certain
- 20:19Speaker 1: fear of police, even being a hundred percent on the
- 20:22Speaker 1: right side of the law in my life now. And
- 20:25Speaker 1: if you watch when you watch the previews, he was scared.
- 20:28Speaker 1: He didn't know what that you know, they were gonna do.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And people are like scared of y'all, y'all coming out
- 20:35Speaker 1: here with sixty one counts or sexual relady kids having
- 20:38Speaker 1: a project, y'all killing kids for nothing, y'all, And what
- 20:42Speaker 1: do y'all expect to happen? I don't know what they're
- 20:45Speaker 1: menting drugs on people, weapons, sending people up. I mean,
- 20:48Speaker 1: it's and then you got a president who just damn well,
- 20:52Speaker 1: all the bullshit, all the bullshit, and so what happens,
- 20:56Speaker 1: what happened. Something's got to give something. The levies gonna, yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: life's gonna write martial law. Do you know, I think
- 21:06Speaker 1: they want you know, I think they want that. I
- 21:10Speaker 1: said that. I agree with you, right, I think they
- 21:12Speaker 1: want to They want to turn up, they want to
- 21:14Speaker 1: see because they got all of anyway, So we'll talk
- 21:16Speaker 1: about that. The speaking of martial law, Antonio Brown, it
- 21:20Speaker 1: was dropped by him and company after the rape allegations
- 21:23Speaker 1: emerged this past week. Um, and he also scores his
- 21:27Speaker 1: first time touchdown as a Patriot this week. So how
- 21:29Speaker 1: do ya I feel about that? I want to start. So,
- 21:33Speaker 1: I think it's very convenient timing that these allegations came out.
- 21:39Speaker 1: I'm just saying I don't know that they are true,
- 21:41Speaker 1: and I'm not speaking on the girl who's accusing him
- 21:43Speaker 1: of it. I'm just saying, as he goes through this
- 21:46Speaker 1: whole public term, will with the Raiders and all this back,
- 21:48Speaker 1: you know whatever the week he signs with the Patriots
- 21:52Speaker 1: this comes out speaking of conspiracy theories, and think sometimes, um,
- 22:00Speaker 1: someone may want to come out with the allegations, but
- 22:03Speaker 1: there's a process, you know, you have to go through
- 22:05Speaker 1: a mental thing, you know, war with yourself, and then
- 22:08Speaker 1: you have people trying to convince you not to do
- 22:10Speaker 1: and then other people telling you should because it's right,
- 22:13Speaker 1: and maybe it could have been a coincidence, or maybe
- 22:16Speaker 1: maybe it's a setup. Like we really don't know anything
- 22:19Speaker 1: until until the truth really comes out, if it does
- 22:22Speaker 1: ever come out. But well, I think and also too,
- 22:25Speaker 1: we saw him this weekend. His entire family was at
- 22:27Speaker 1: the game, including his wife. It's a good look. We
- 22:30Speaker 1: all know about you know, pr and all that stuff. Now,
- 22:33Speaker 1: nobody should be innocent until guilt. He was all smiles
- 22:37Speaker 1: and happy. I don't know. I think he's you know, quietly. Um.
- 22:43Speaker 1: I wouldn't say going crazy, but I think there's some
- 22:48Speaker 1: type of I mean, this is where mental health comes in.
- 22:51Speaker 1: I don't I don't think he's all there. Okay, So
- 22:53Speaker 1: I don't know much about him. I'm just saying, but
- 22:56Speaker 1: you play football long enough, get hitting under it, So
- 22:59Speaker 1: I think there's something to that. I just, you know,
- 23:01Speaker 1: I just find it very strange that it came out
- 23:04Speaker 1: the time and that it did when it happened apparently
- 23:06Speaker 1: a long time ago, and this theand the third. So
- 23:08Speaker 1: but again to your point, people sometimes are suppressed in
- 23:12Speaker 1: whatever way, um mentally people telling you not to do it.
- 23:15Speaker 1: You know, you never know what happened. So I don't know.
- 23:17Speaker 1: I'm not accusing him. I'm not saying that it but
- 23:19Speaker 1: I just thought it was super ironic. Ladies and gentlemen.
- 23:23Speaker 1: The roles summing hit Atlanta, as young Susan Burns had
- 23:26Speaker 1: mentioned earlier, and the most viral part of the weekend
- 23:30Speaker 1: was the t I Killer Mike, Candice Owens and Katrina
- 23:35Speaker 1: Pearson conversation. And you know, first and foremost one time
- 23:39Speaker 1: for killing Mike. I think he's one of the most
- 23:41Speaker 1: thoughtful human beings um in the world. And I'm saying
- 23:45Speaker 1: thoughtful like he does the research he saying one time,
- 23:48Speaker 1: I attend to because you know, I've jumped out there
- 23:51Speaker 1: on tip a couple of times just with you know,
- 23:53Speaker 1: him doing things, you know, seemingly for benefit. But he
- 23:56Speaker 1: was rooted in his you know, facts in this conversation,
- 24:02Speaker 1: and you need more of that. We need more of that,
- 24:04Speaker 1: and we need more of that from him too. And
- 24:06Speaker 1: I'm glad Tip was. You know, I was ready for
- 24:09Speaker 1: that conversation because you know, I think with Katrina and
- 24:12Speaker 1: with Candice a lot of times, you know, it's like,
- 24:14Speaker 1: you know, they were both saying things that made sense.
- 24:16Speaker 1: And when you think about and even Tip agreed with
- 24:19Speaker 1: the whole justice form thing that Trump's and and and
- 24:22Speaker 1: Tip said this, He's done a lot of good things,
- 24:25Speaker 1: and Trump has. But I think the rhetoric gets in
- 24:27Speaker 1: the way of the accomplishments. And we also have to
- 24:30Speaker 1: keep in mind, who are these accomplishments for, like like
- 24:33Speaker 1: that that that still is an issue. These accompli accomplishments
- 24:36Speaker 1: are not for us. So we're sitting here giving this
- 24:39Speaker 1: man is and that's huge considering the black and brown
- 24:43Speaker 1: disport disproportion in jails. I think it is. But I
- 24:47Speaker 1: think people like Trump have a good way of putting
- 24:51Speaker 1: themselves in one spot so they look like something when
- 24:53Speaker 1: they're really doing something else. Okay, So these sisters, I
- 24:55Speaker 1: want to ask you this question because you're a woman,
- 24:58Speaker 1: and I tell they feel free r Obviously your comments
- 25:00Speaker 1: are welcome, but Canada's owners and Contrina Pierce are clearly
- 25:04Speaker 1: black women and listening to this, did you guys listen
- 25:08Speaker 1: to the whole? I need to listen to the whole.
- 25:11Speaker 1: They're both intelligent women. Now did they put their foot
- 25:14Speaker 1: in their mouth? I think so a lot, right because
- 25:21Speaker 1: um wondering. I think it was Mike or Tip made
- 25:23Speaker 1: the comment that you can't basically make sense out of
- 25:28Speaker 1: something that when he was asking about when America's great again?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Absolutely name the thank You, Thank You drinking team. So
- 25:37Speaker 1: basically he was basically saying she said she made a
- 25:39Speaker 1: statement that he wants to make great America great again,
- 25:42Speaker 1: and he said what he said, which are was that
- 25:47Speaker 1: it was great because it was never great for us
- 25:49Speaker 1: and so many and then he also admitted to us
- 25:51Speaker 1: being ahead of the curved this generation stuff for us.
- 25:54Speaker 1: But I want to just say this and ask you
- 25:55Speaker 1: guys your opinion from Candis and your Trina. They made
- 26:00Speaker 1: a lot of points when I want you to go
- 26:02Speaker 1: back and watch it, But at the same time, they
- 26:04Speaker 1: said a lot of things that seemingly were against us
- 26:06Speaker 1: as a people. But where do you put them on
- 26:09Speaker 1: the spectrum? You know what I'm saying, because they have
- 26:11Speaker 1: they clearly believe what they believe. But then it's going
- 26:15Speaker 1: against what you know, all the Black America fields, so
- 26:18Speaker 1: to speak, where do they stand. I think the problem
- 26:22Speaker 1: of a part of the problem in our community is
- 26:24Speaker 1: we want to agree with everything that somebody says, otherwise
- 26:28Speaker 1: we don't believe it there for us. But you have
- 26:30Speaker 1: to understand that when you are ignorant in certain departments,
- 26:34Speaker 1: is you're going to be uncomfortable when somebody is presenting
- 26:37Speaker 1: something to you. If you're not knowledgeable of like the
- 26:39Speaker 1: history and all the facts, then you have a skewed
- 26:42Speaker 1: perception of what the solution is. So I think the
- 26:46Speaker 1: black community really needs to open up and educate themselves
- 26:49Speaker 1: before they get offended or upset at something. But I
- 26:55Speaker 1: also think, you know, it goes back to what killing
- 26:57Speaker 1: Mirke was saying about. You know how everybody's arguing over
- 27:00Speaker 1: whose masters who or whatever. We just need to get
- 27:02Speaker 1: on the same page. And that's why I think that panels,
- 27:05Speaker 1: especially a color like this, are important and we need
- 27:08Speaker 1: to see more of it on our platforms like the
- 27:10Speaker 1: b E T s, like the Revolts, you know what
- 27:11Speaker 1: I'm saying, even the v H one, because you know,
- 27:13Speaker 1: our people watch that the most. Because the problem is
- 27:15Speaker 1: that people don't care enough to watch things that matter
- 27:18Speaker 1: like that, Like the reason why networks are showing certain
- 27:21Speaker 1: things is because that's where. But even even the whole
- 27:25Speaker 1: marking in with viral, you know what I'm saying. And
- 27:27Speaker 1: it's and if we continue to put stuff out there
- 27:29Speaker 1: like that, certain moments will go viral and people will
- 27:32Speaker 1: start to pay attention. You know. But I mean, I
- 27:35Speaker 1: think it was good. Like I said, I agree with
- 27:36Speaker 1: killing my cast. He said, everybody's over there in their
- 27:38Speaker 1: own opinion arguing about which master when we need to
- 27:41Speaker 1: just kill the master and then get on the same accord.
- 27:43Speaker 1: You know, but it starts with us, starts at home
- 27:46Speaker 1: and starts and then Jay Morrison, I don't know if
- 27:49Speaker 1: you saw that that he stood up and he basically
- 27:52Speaker 1: was saying, okay, well, when you have like a black party,
- 27:55Speaker 1: He's like, what's what's our nationality? Like? Who are we
- 27:59Speaker 1: as a people? Like? If black people is a race,
- 28:03Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, we'll find it. What's our flag?
- 28:05Speaker 1: What's our constance? He was even saying, that's how I
- 28:07Speaker 1: would say, we can't even get reparations because we don't
- 28:09Speaker 1: even classify as one race African American. So we're American,
- 28:13Speaker 1: But like, so, I want to know what y'all think
- 28:15Speaker 1: about the name. That's what I was going to say,
- 28:17Speaker 1: think about the name African American African slash so. So,
- 28:22Speaker 1: I guess the question is one more question to post
- 28:24Speaker 1: to you all. What imball the nation? What do you feel?
- 28:27Speaker 1: Do we need our own? Are we? You know what
- 28:30Speaker 1: I'm saying now? I agree with Jay. I think we
- 28:32Speaker 1: should have our own. I don't think there's anything wrong
- 28:34Speaker 1: with us having our own. And I don't think that
- 28:35Speaker 1: it means that we don't like other people, or we
- 28:38Speaker 1: are you know, anti this or anti that. Why can't
- 28:41Speaker 1: we be pro us and and still pro everybody else here?
- 28:44Speaker 1: I'm with you. They organized and they assemble, and I
- 28:47Speaker 1: wanted to interject and just say one thing. I think, Um,
- 28:50Speaker 1: we as a people, we always uh be like to
- 28:55Speaker 1: the word ignorant. Yeah, I think sometimes we should own
- 28:59Speaker 1: that and then educate our Every time someone says that, well,
- 29:03Speaker 1: you're ignorant, we get so offended. We shouldn't be so
- 29:06Speaker 1: offended when someone says you're ignorant to this, you want
- 29:09Speaker 1: to learn. So you should want to learn, because when
- 29:11Speaker 1: you learn, then you can organize, Then you can assemble.
- 29:15Speaker 1: I think problem, you're ignorant, like, can they get some lights?
- 29:19Speaker 1: Sometimes the person who's calling is ignorant to some light
- 29:22Speaker 1: on what they're talking about. Well, I think also too,
- 29:25Speaker 1: sometimes we have to remember that for us, our legacy
- 29:28Speaker 1: doesn't start at slavery. And I think that's really a
- 29:31Speaker 1: problem for us, Like we're not we're not taught, we're
- 29:35Speaker 1: not thinking about, you know, the kings that were removed
- 29:38Speaker 1: from from their their their castles or their villages from Africa,
- 29:42Speaker 1: or the people that had you know, ranked back home
- 29:44Speaker 1: and all that stuff. We literally start talking about slavery.
- 29:47Speaker 1: Is if that that is what we're started, that's where
- 29:50Speaker 1: we're started it. We want to go back to where
- 29:52Speaker 1: where we were before. Then you're absolutely right, and that's
- 29:54Speaker 1: why I think that all of our black leaders need
- 29:56Speaker 1: to get on one accord so that we can all
- 29:58Speaker 1: be educated. Like Tarikna, she'd he definitely breaks that down
- 30:01Speaker 1: in his series um uh I got the name of it,
- 30:05Speaker 1: but he breaks he breaks down like where we come
- 30:07Speaker 1: from the kings and stuff like that, and he has
- 30:09Speaker 1: five is the five part series that so far and
- 30:12Speaker 1: he's still going with it. But you know, just like him,
- 30:15Speaker 1: the killer Mike's the tas you know, even the Kinny
- 30:17Speaker 1: Birds is everybody. You know what I'm saying, are black leaders.
- 30:19Speaker 1: They need to get on one accord. And we know
- 30:21Speaker 1: we need to educate ourselves, help educate the masses. And
- 30:25Speaker 1: you know you don't want the course, so we can start,
- 30:27Speaker 1: you know, making progress. Yeah. Yeah, And I want to
- 30:30Speaker 1: say this too, And I like what the brother J
- 30:32Speaker 1: Morrison said, because it is if that's what you're gonna do,
- 30:34Speaker 1: then go all the way, like don't have way. Yeah.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But but my whole thing is if you're gonna go
- 30:40Speaker 1: and that's a problem, like you were saying, like the
- 30:43Speaker 1: education for us, we don't know, we'll always be like yeah,
- 30:47Speaker 1: and we just gonna walk away. Yeah right here. But
- 30:50Speaker 1: then I also think too, what we've done to build
- 30:53Speaker 1: this country and how we've built it this country, and
- 30:57Speaker 1: I let it go. So I'm on both side. It's
- 31:00Speaker 1: like I think, well, ship we built in ancests, we
- 31:02Speaker 1: dies that all went through all all types of hell
- 31:05Speaker 1: and unimaginary hell to live here and be here. So
- 31:09Speaker 1: we're just gonna you know what I'm saying, because I
- 31:10Speaker 1: think in the scheme of things and with J and
- 31:14Speaker 1: even like killer Michael, It's like, all right, well we
- 31:16Speaker 1: gotta or not, you know what I'm saying. But at
- 31:18Speaker 1: the same time, it's like, okay, boom, I'm if you
- 31:21Speaker 1: went through my family tree, it's probably more white than black.
- 31:25Speaker 1: I'm talking about down down down the line. So where
- 31:29Speaker 1: do we you know what I'm saying, go like, I'm
- 31:31Speaker 1: clearly identified and I am black. You know what I'm saying.
- 31:35Speaker 1: I am an African American. I am from descendants from Africa.
- 31:39Speaker 1: My point is, though this country was built on the
- 31:42Speaker 1: backs of our ancestors, we're gonna just let it bang
- 31:46Speaker 1: and we're not gonna fight for truly what is partly ours.
- 31:50Speaker 1: And that's where even like because it was it was
- 31:52Speaker 1: disappointing to me. Um one of the facts that Killer
- 31:55Speaker 1: Mike said, like with fifteen percent, um and we should
- 31:59Speaker 1: have fifteen I feel like we it's more like, you
- 32:02Speaker 1: know what I'm I'm sorry, I give those are facts.
- 32:07Speaker 1: I'm just like, it makes you want to fight more
- 32:09Speaker 1: for what, you know what I'm saying. I think that's
- 32:11Speaker 1: a part of the problem too, though, Like they didn't
- 32:13Speaker 1: bring us over here to build it and make us
- 32:15Speaker 1: equal partners. They literally brought us over here to build
- 32:18Speaker 1: it and ship on us. So we keep thinking that
- 32:20Speaker 1: we you know, like like morally, yes, we deserve to
- 32:25Speaker 1: be here free all rights. Morally yes, but is that
- 32:29Speaker 1: what the intention was from the beginning it was. So
- 32:32Speaker 1: we're sitting here trying to like demand something that was
- 32:36Speaker 1: never the intent, Like we're getting exactly what they want
- 32:38Speaker 1: to give us. I think our angle just has to
- 32:40Speaker 1: be a little different. I ain't gonna needs to be different.
- 32:42Speaker 1: If we're ready to leave, if you're ready to leave
- 32:44Speaker 1: and go back where you're from and you know, claim
- 32:47Speaker 1: with yours or live the life as kings and queens,
- 32:49Speaker 1: I don't think that's the only option, no either. I
- 32:51Speaker 1: think it's just I think if you're here, you take
- 32:55Speaker 1: what's here. You know, it's almost in the care master mentality.
- 33:00Speaker 1: Use that's how they are, that's what this exactly who
- 33:04Speaker 1: they are. So that's how you gotta be. That's what
- 33:06Speaker 1: I'm trying to say. And so my thing is like, yeah, nationalists,
- 33:10Speaker 1: I'm sorry, our own nationality, our own flag, our own
- 33:14Speaker 1: rules of government. But at the same time we this
- 33:17Speaker 1: is our ship too, Like this is our ship, and
- 33:19Speaker 1: funk whoever says not, let's get them out of the way.
- 33:22Speaker 1: And that's what I mean. It's drastic to say kill
- 33:24Speaker 1: your massive, but it's true. It's like kill the mentality, kill,
- 33:27Speaker 1: you know, And that's they point. And even with Trump
- 33:31Speaker 1: and when we had this conversation a number of times,
- 33:34Speaker 1: it's like your program, but go ahead, we are And
- 33:36Speaker 1: that that documentary, by the way, it's called Hidden Colors
- 33:40Speaker 1: and it's in five parts they just did, just dropped five,
- 33:43Speaker 1: so and it breaks down you know, you know, everything
- 33:47Speaker 1: about black and where you come from and the agenda
- 33:49Speaker 1: on black people and everything they do. And I'm sorry, Bright,
- 33:53Speaker 1: but to your point, they do that they kill my
- 33:55Speaker 1: fucker's is in the way. That's that's I just want
- 33:58Speaker 1: to finish my statement on the kill your like. At
- 34:01Speaker 1: some point it has to be that if you are
- 34:04Speaker 1: in the way of American thinking out the way, you
- 34:07Speaker 1: get him out the way. So I don't know, it
- 34:10Speaker 1: was a beautiful conversation. Boys on the screen that run
- 34:12Speaker 1: towards these other hug I know that, and the white
- 34:18Speaker 1: boy they run up to each Yeah, and that's another
- 34:21Speaker 1: I'm glad you people. I refused some white tell you something.
- 34:28Speaker 1: This misstossle my neighbor. That's crazy. I was in my
- 34:32Speaker 1: hometown a show white fee and I said, this house,
- 34:35Speaker 1: let me understand that they are all white people that
- 34:39Speaker 1: are good people, good people. I went at her house.
- 34:42Speaker 1: You know, you know, I'm black black. I ain't like skinning.
- 34:45Speaker 1: You're not black black, I mean, but I ain't. I'm brown.
- 34:49Speaker 1: I'm clearly brown. You're a little tasting. She brought me
- 34:52Speaker 1: in her house. She fits. She treated me like she was.
- 34:55Speaker 1: I was hurting. You know. The food wasn't all that good,
- 34:59Speaker 1: but it was different season. You know, she put raisors
- 35:02Speaker 1: and tay the salad like for real, for real, one fucker,
- 35:06Speaker 1: but we ate potato salad. I was hungry. I hate
- 35:08Speaker 1: that mother. But I'm just saying she's the reason why
- 35:12Speaker 1: I can't be racist, because I remember, listen, a white
- 35:16Speaker 1: people ain't mad, and who is fun? All black people
- 35:20Speaker 1: ain't crema. I mean, you didn't have the religious That's
- 35:23Speaker 1: how you know what He's able to get some people
- 35:25Speaker 1: to me like. She treated me like I was special.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I was over here like them. I felt. I just felt,
- 35:29Speaker 1: you know, we hugged all that. My mom may hug
- 35:32Speaker 1: me like that. It's like a mend. You gotta there's
- 35:35Speaker 1: white people in there's some people who on white that
- 35:37Speaker 1: happened to be in the bed. You know, I didn't
- 35:40Speaker 1: have the dogs little dog. Yeah, that was disgusting. Well
- 35:45Speaker 1: I believe in that. Yes, let's not go down the dog.
- 35:51Speaker 1: We're not trying to have people in the comments tearing
- 35:53Speaker 1: dog in the mouth. Yeah you just lick y'all in
- 35:55Speaker 1: the face and come talk to me all that. Okay,
- 35:58Speaker 1: our ladies and gentlemen, yea, U West and I love
- 36:01Speaker 1: that conversation and ball the nation. Please feel free to
- 36:04Speaker 1: continue the conversation socially. We'll join in. Kaye West brings
- 36:08Speaker 1: Sunday service to the a ladies and gentlemen. And I
- 36:11Speaker 1: posed this question last week before we look at look
- 36:13Speaker 1: at look at Please with that. That's the one thing
- 36:15Speaker 1: I'm said about Mrs. I ain't gonna has a great
- 36:18Speaker 1: time about it. I would have him been there. But
- 36:20Speaker 1: I'm gonna tell you. I'm gonna tell you something. This
- 36:23Speaker 1: is This is a fact, young Octavia Burns. This is
- 36:28Speaker 1: a fact the boys of mother and he trying listen, y'all,
- 36:32Speaker 1: He trying to get back and the way he's going
- 36:37Speaker 1: about it is janus. Because one thing black folk knows
- 36:41Speaker 1: church and if you've been to an experience or witnessed it.
- 36:45Speaker 1: Young O c t. It ain't nothing about nothing but
- 36:48Speaker 1: feel good and the glory of God. And fix it,
- 36:51Speaker 1: you know what, and fix it. It's a fixed moment.
- 36:54Speaker 1: Why do you go to church? You want to fix
- 36:55Speaker 1: You want to be reminded that what you believe is
- 36:57Speaker 1: true that day. Listen to the words you're feeling. He
- 37:02Speaker 1: wasn't listening to the word. It was the word. Every
- 37:05Speaker 1: song had the word trying to fix it. Like he's there,
- 37:09Speaker 1: you go to he is trying to fix it. I'm
- 37:11Speaker 1: saying he wasn't there listening to the word. He wasn't
- 37:13Speaker 1: there listening to the last day? Can you can you
- 37:15Speaker 1: answer this question? Are you by polar and so you
- 37:20Speaker 1: have no? I haven't been diagnosed with it. You have
- 37:23Speaker 1: no right, none of us we all got D. But
- 37:26Speaker 1: my point is I'm not. I'm not. I don't have
- 37:29Speaker 1: I don't suffer from I don't know Susan doesn't suffer
- 37:32Speaker 1: from my polus, No one in this room, So how
- 37:35Speaker 1: can we know what it's like to deal with that?
- 37:37Speaker 1: I had an offline conversation and that ship. I'm telling y'all,
- 37:42Speaker 1: that ship is real it's very again, nothing to gain
- 37:45Speaker 1: to the people that that that suffering with that. Like
- 37:48Speaker 1: I said time and time again, that's just not my
- 37:51Speaker 1: cup of tea. Right, But have you gotten more good
- 37:53Speaker 1: out of Kanye West and bad? I don't know. We
- 37:55Speaker 1: don't listen to Kanye West no more then the bipolar
- 38:00Speaker 1: in his came after his mom passed away. No, no, no, no, no,
- 38:04Speaker 1: we don't don't know that. I know that is a
- 38:07Speaker 1: lot he may have already been suffering. Came my rocket
- 38:10Speaker 1: fell laws towards two thousand five, two thousand four, sits
- 38:15Speaker 1: down and tells me how his life's about to be.
- 38:19Speaker 1: He the mother that when the Harlem church choir wouldn't
- 38:24Speaker 1: approved or whatever. I'm a jenius, genius, I get it.
- 38:26Speaker 1: Know what all I'm saying is he's been that way.
- 38:30Speaker 1: It's just it's been amplified because of social media. He's
- 38:34Speaker 1: been that when you go too far, you try to backtrack.
- 38:37Speaker 1: But it's not about going too far as pushing the limits.
- 38:39Speaker 1: When a motherfucker says he's Walt Disney, When a mother
- 38:43Speaker 1: ever says I put this hat on and I feel
- 38:45Speaker 1: like a superhero. There was something about when I put
- 38:48Speaker 1: this hat off and made me feel like Superman. You
- 38:51Speaker 1: made a Superman that was that's my favorite superhero, and
- 38:54Speaker 1: you made a Superman cake for me. All I love you.
- 38:57Speaker 1: That I don't want to take I don't want to
- 38:59Speaker 1: put you in that I'll stand it. And that's I
- 39:02Speaker 1: love this guy right here. Let me get this guy.
- 39:07Speaker 1: I love this guy right here. I love this guy.
- 39:12Speaker 1: Can I ask you a question? Do you remember when
- 39:14Speaker 1: the Easiest Tour started? He had I don't remember when started.
- 39:17Speaker 1: Let me just tell the easiest tour started. She had
- 39:20Speaker 1: a jacket with the with the flag on it, right
- 39:23Speaker 1: the what's it called? Confederate flag on it? Remember that
- 39:26Speaker 1: when I was sent to merch, I was like, why
- 39:28Speaker 1: the fun would you put this on the jackets? Like
- 39:31Speaker 1: I'm taking it. We now own that I took it
- 39:34Speaker 1: off my jack I still I put up, and I
- 39:37Speaker 1: put because I would never wear the Confederate flag. I
- 39:41Speaker 1: live in Atlanta, Georgia. I am way more versed on
- 39:44Speaker 1: the South and the way that ship makes you think
- 39:48Speaker 1: that that black people were calling each other niggas during slavery,
- 39:52Speaker 1: when nig was such a word. Every saying it as
- 39:56Speaker 1: like niggles up. I was like he was on the
- 40:00Speaker 1: like both both, you think both? Okay, Well, if you
- 40:06Speaker 1: call some of my grandmother grad wrestles soul, she you know,
- 40:11Speaker 1: she grew up and we had family members that you
- 40:15Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, had situations like that, and she
- 40:17Speaker 1: from what the story she was told, she said it
- 40:20Speaker 1: was it was both the house the house of Nigga
- 40:24Speaker 1: would call you nigga and the meaning way like nigga
- 40:26Speaker 1: get you and then you be in the field. I'm
- 40:28Speaker 1: sure you'd be like, nigga, this ship is crazy, you
- 40:31Speaker 1: know what I'm saying. So it's a whole another audi,
- 40:35Speaker 1: it's a whole another offering, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 40:37Speaker 1: what do you think? So I can agree that it
- 40:40Speaker 1: was both, but I think before it was both, it
- 40:41Speaker 1: was one. You know what I'm saying. I think somebody
- 40:43Speaker 1: decided to let me go ahead and change how we
- 40:47Speaker 1: use that word. And I think that's what Connie thought
- 40:49Speaker 1: he was going to do the con Federate flag, you
- 40:52Speaker 1: know what I'm saying, Like, I think that maybe he
- 40:54Speaker 1: thought that It's like real Africans knew the word, Like
- 40:57Speaker 1: going back to what you said different, but I want
- 41:00Speaker 1: to Okay, sob not not derogatory at all. It was never. Never.
- 41:05Speaker 1: The point is they came from Africa here, so they
- 41:08Speaker 1: knew the word. Would you say, um, so maybe that
- 41:12Speaker 1: was I don't think. I don't think the second generation.
- 41:15Speaker 1: Did I think first generation? Maybe My point is that
- 41:18Speaker 1: you be My point is maybe the white motherfucker heard niggas,
- 41:25Speaker 1: may have called him nigga, you know, like again. But
- 41:32Speaker 1: let me take it back. It's my point using for original. Yeah,
- 41:36Speaker 1: I'm saying it. You're come on, that's a debate ball nation.
- 41:42Speaker 1: We want to know our ladies and gentlemen. Now that's
- 41:44Speaker 1: time footballer man's that was a clip for your assig Hello, Hello,
- 41:54Speaker 1: you're gonna have all Africans on this ship right here. Okay,
- 42:01Speaker 1: when we put it right there and put it up, okay,
- 42:07Speaker 1: Kenny Sue n O c T. Dear Ferrari. I am
- 42:14Speaker 1: pregnant by a guy that I was casually dating, and
- 42:17Speaker 1: he's pushing me to get an abortion because his girlfriend
- 42:20Speaker 1: is also pregnant. Ghetto twins. I've been casually dating an
- 42:26Speaker 1: ex coworker for about seven months. This is very detailed,
- 42:30Speaker 1: since she watched the show. All the details. I've been
- 42:35Speaker 1: casually dating an ex co working for about seven months.
- 42:37Speaker 1: We're not a relationship and never been. I just found
- 42:40Speaker 1: out that I am pregnant, and his response wasn't what
- 42:43Speaker 1: I expected. Prior to the pregnancy news, whenever we talked,
- 42:47Speaker 1: he mentioned that he doesn't have any kids and how
- 42:49Speaker 1: he wanted a baby, which is the reason why we
- 42:52Speaker 1: weren't using protection. It wasn't a plan. Pregnancy, pregnancy, if
- 42:57Speaker 1: it happens, it happens type of situation. Well it happened,
- 43:01Speaker 1: and now he's suggesting that I have an abortion. After
- 43:04Speaker 1: speaking to him why he thinks an abortion is the
- 43:07Speaker 1: is the is the decision that's best. He tells me
- 43:10Speaker 1: that he has a new girlfriend who was also pregnant,
- 43:13Speaker 1: and they've made a decision to keep their baby. I
- 43:17Speaker 1: also have a ten year old daughter, so this isn't
- 43:21Speaker 1: my first rodeo. I also wasn't anticipating having a baby
- 43:25Speaker 1: right now, and I was still and right now I was.
- 43:29Speaker 1: I was and am looking forward to the journey. I
- 43:34Speaker 1: feel as though if I were to go through with
- 43:36Speaker 1: an abortion, it would strictly be out of respect for
- 43:39Speaker 1: him and his new girlfriend and because of me having
- 43:42Speaker 1: to deal with the shame embarrassment with this being my
- 43:44Speaker 1: second child at a wedlock with another uninvolved father. I
- 43:49Speaker 1: know if I make the decision to keep the baby,
- 43:51Speaker 1: although he obviously doesn't want me to, I'll be raising
- 43:55Speaker 1: another child alone, which I'm prepared to do. I just
- 43:58Speaker 1: feel selfish in doing so, because he's not the type
- 44:01Speaker 1: to just let me do it alone. But I'm sure
- 44:04Speaker 1: it would be it will cause tension in his family
- 44:07Speaker 1: that he's creating with his new girlfriend, and resentment towards
- 44:11Speaker 1: me for not terminating my pregnancy. I also think it's
- 44:15Speaker 1: unfair for him to to be excited about the baby
- 44:18Speaker 1: he's having with his new girlfriend and pushing me to abort.
- 44:22Speaker 1: Mind what advice would you guys give me? Please think
- 44:25Speaker 1: about Yeah, and you need to re reevaluate your life
- 44:32Speaker 1: and your life decisions. Her trying to say that, you know,
- 44:36Speaker 1: she's basically trying to insinuate that she's being considerate of
- 44:39Speaker 1: his other situation. All that all that is, BS like,
- 44:43Speaker 1: don't worry about that, don't think about that. Just think
- 44:45Speaker 1: about how you got yourself in this position. Because for
- 44:47Speaker 1: you to say that, you you know, you guys aren't
- 44:49Speaker 1: planning to having kids, but you did not use protection
- 44:52Speaker 1: for the sake of possibly having a child. Then you
- 44:54Speaker 1: knew that there was a really high risk of that.
- 44:57Speaker 1: You also knew that you already had a child of
- 45:00Speaker 1: wedlock with and you obviously wanted to because, like you said,
- 45:06Speaker 1: you knew it. You knew it. He talked about he
- 45:09Speaker 1: doesn't have children, he doesn't have any children, and that
- 45:11Speaker 1: he wanted to. So you guys made a decision. You
- 45:13Speaker 1: both made a decision not to have sex with you
- 45:17Speaker 1: guys made a choice to have unprotected sex. So in
- 45:20Speaker 1: you doing that, you ran a high risk of getting pregnant,
- 45:24Speaker 1: and you did. And the reality is I do sometimes
- 45:27Speaker 1: feel bad for men and maybe not, maybe not next situation,
- 45:31Speaker 1: because he knew what he was doing here, he was
- 45:32Speaker 1: having sex with two women unprotected. You're wrong, but it
- 45:36Speaker 1: kind of draws up this bigger thing where it's like
- 45:39Speaker 1: men are sometimes forced to see fathers when they don't
- 45:43Speaker 1: want to be fathers. Like it's like, I'm telling you
- 45:45Speaker 1: I don't want this child with you. I'm telling you that,
- 45:49Speaker 1: and you're gonna have this child and call me a
- 45:51Speaker 1: scumbag and all this ship because I'm not I'm not
- 45:53Speaker 1: president now. Morally, if the child comes, I do think
- 45:56Speaker 1: that you need to be in the child's life. But
- 45:57Speaker 1: I can understand the coral in that, like, yeah, you know,
- 46:01Speaker 1: I understand that, sis Um. I really need you to
- 46:06Speaker 1: do some soul searching and you know, with your decisions
- 46:11Speaker 1: because just like O C. He said, it sounds like patterns,
- 46:14Speaker 1: you know. And you should never ever feel okay with
- 46:19Speaker 1: a man telling you that he's having a baby with
- 46:22Speaker 1: another person but wants you to get rid of yours. Well, okay,
- 46:25Speaker 1: will you has sex with me? You shot the club,
- 46:31Speaker 1: wanted to have kids, and now we're pregnant. But it's
- 46:34Speaker 1: something wrong with with the women that are just okay,
- 46:37Speaker 1: just giving men love children her like. You have to
- 46:42Speaker 1: be more in tune with yourself. I mean, made the
- 46:46Speaker 1: I'm sorry you're ten year old happen. We're gonna call
- 46:49Speaker 1: that a blessing. Hello. And the second time, you got
- 46:55Speaker 1: to be more responsible with your actions and definitely more
- 46:58Speaker 1: you know, in a have a more of an understanding
- 47:01Speaker 1: with your partner. If he's telling you things but his
- 47:04Speaker 1: actions are lined up. I want to women, I just
- 47:07Speaker 1: got to do better by yourself. You know, if you
- 47:09Speaker 1: can't depend on the man to have you in mind,
- 47:13Speaker 1: you don't talk about in the planning of it all
- 47:15Speaker 1: because some of these don't take what they can get.
- 47:17Speaker 1: Everything they can get from everywhere, that doesn't matter where
- 47:20Speaker 1: it's coming from. If he can get a little bit
- 47:21Speaker 1: from here, a little from there, you're gonna take it.
- 47:23Speaker 1: And even if you're giving it, even if you do
- 47:25Speaker 1: decide to have the baby, I would, uh, you know,
- 47:28Speaker 1: focus on yourself thereafter because it seems to me like
- 47:31Speaker 1: she's a people pleaser who because she's trying to please
- 47:34Speaker 1: him and now she's trying to please the couple and
- 47:36Speaker 1: just ask herself, I'm not even worried about herself. I
- 47:39Speaker 1: would just focus on myself even if if you have
- 47:42Speaker 1: the baby or not, because your mental health is comes
- 47:44Speaker 1: first period and your whole life is about to be
- 47:48Speaker 1: about selflessness or continue to be about selfness. But you
- 47:51Speaker 1: already have a ten year old, So if you had
- 47:53Speaker 1: this baby by yourself, basically you are gonna so you
- 47:57Speaker 1: got to be selfish when it comes to you. A
- 47:58Speaker 1: lot of this I think has to do with just
- 48:00Speaker 1: like healing in our communities, like why are there so
- 48:03Speaker 1: many women willing to be in these positions? Like there's
- 48:06Speaker 1: definitely something wrong and we need you to feel that
- 48:10Speaker 1: self worth and love so that you won't put yourself
- 48:12Speaker 1: in this position again. But it is very complicated, and
- 48:16Speaker 1: I hope you know you make the best decision for
- 48:18Speaker 1: you and your current family so you don't repeat this
- 48:22Speaker 1: and your children don't have to see this happening like
- 48:25Speaker 1: people haven't remember having a child isn't just having a baby,
- 48:28Speaker 1: Like do you know this person's family's medical history? Like
- 48:31Speaker 1: you don't know anything about how this child or what
- 48:35Speaker 1: this child is at risk of, therefore putting yourself in
- 48:38Speaker 1: a whole new position like m Yeah, it's just it's unfortunate.
- 48:44Speaker 1: But you know it's not too late to get right
- 48:46Speaker 1: with yourself, right you know I'm talking about and not
- 48:49Speaker 1: set yourself up for these types of things going forward.
- 48:52Speaker 1: You know. Um, that's a big that's a big big yeah.
- 48:59Speaker 1: So anyway, we wish you to best keep those baller
- 49:01Speaker 1: males coming to young Rory Simmons, and we'll be sure
- 49:04Speaker 1: to give you the best advice we possibly can. And
- 49:08Speaker 1: now it's time for coming creep this CEP. Yes, all right,
- 49:15Speaker 1: so I actually need you, guys, We need you to
- 49:19Speaker 1: the comments on this situation. I'm going to read to you, guys,
- 49:24Speaker 1: what the awesome jaw Rule tweeted, Okay, just just shortly,
- 49:29Speaker 1: he said, I will be releasing all of my albums
- 49:33Speaker 1: as visual albums. I will be making a video for
- 49:36Speaker 1: every song I've ever made. What then he asked what
- 49:41Speaker 1: songs do y'all want to see videos for? Now? This
- 49:44Speaker 1: kind of makes me happy because I just remember joll
- 49:46Speaker 1: Rule like Murdering being like the soundtrack of all that's
- 49:53Speaker 1: what you're gonna reading. That's what it sounds like according
- 49:55Speaker 1: to this. I mean, initially he said I will be
- 49:58Speaker 1: making a video for every song I've ever made, But
- 50:00Speaker 1: then he asked what songs do y'all want to see
- 50:01Speaker 1: the videos for? So I'm hoping it's really not like
- 50:04Speaker 1: every song because he's gonna top like the Hype Williams
- 50:07Speaker 1: type video. But I could see him making a story
- 50:13Speaker 1: out of you when you think about like everything bleeding
- 50:16Speaker 1: into each other exactly. Yeah, boys doing it right now.
- 50:21Speaker 1: I would love to see it happen because that was
- 50:23Speaker 1: definitely the soundtrack of my like what middle school. I
- 50:29Speaker 1: think it would be dope if he come out, you know,
- 50:31Speaker 1: going with new music and the having like the whole
- 50:34Speaker 1: story thing, because I think visuals are the way. But
- 50:37Speaker 1: I think it will be dope if he just starts
- 50:39Speaker 1: from the new stuff, because the old stuff is just
- 50:41Speaker 1: like old stuff is still good, but everything it's coming
- 50:46Speaker 1: back right now. And I think what he's trying to
- 50:47Speaker 1: do is modernize the video. It's like modernize how people
- 50:50Speaker 1: look at it, because I think I think that's what
- 50:53Speaker 1: he's trying to do. And I like the old stuff.
- 50:55Speaker 1: I want to hear it like in a biopic or
- 50:57Speaker 1: like in a movie or something like that. You know
- 50:59Speaker 1: what I'm saying. I'm on this old c I like
- 51:01Speaker 1: that too. But how about this, and you got to
- 51:03Speaker 1: pay the Bottler show if you use this idea? How
- 51:06Speaker 1: about you know how people go to Vegas when they
- 51:09Speaker 1: get older, right or they go to these you get
- 51:12Speaker 1: the residencies they do. But what if he theatrically created
- 51:16Speaker 1: because I mean, you can't front on the hits, You
- 51:19Speaker 1: cannot do a play. Yeah, definitely videos, because videos don't
- 51:23Speaker 1: make sense. Like you said, you're gonna do what you
- 51:26Speaker 1: gonna need a check for that man. That man is
- 51:28Speaker 1: trying to get that streaming. You can. You could do
- 51:31Speaker 1: this forever. You created this thing that people gonna come
- 51:35Speaker 1: see that every year. We definitely I agree with that too.
- 51:38Speaker 1: But like even in the Straight out of Content movie,
- 51:41Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, when they played those hits
- 51:42Speaker 1: back and you got to see like that time frame,
- 51:45Speaker 1: it was just like the nostalgia just came back, like
- 51:48Speaker 1: I gotta go back and listen. So I would say,
- 51:50Speaker 1: like in a movie because they're doing the murder inc.
- 51:51Speaker 1: Uh biopick or something like that too. But I think
- 51:55Speaker 1: certain things like murder inc. And there's no disrespect or
- 51:59Speaker 1: anybody involved with murder ain't put murder, ain't ain't bad Boy.
- 52:03Speaker 1: They had hits, but you don't feel you're associated with
- 52:06Speaker 1: the lifestyle like you did with Bad Boy or with
- 52:08Speaker 1: Death Row. I'm saying, like those I can see no,
- 52:11Speaker 1: but I could see we said. I think Bad Boy
- 52:13Speaker 1: like portrayed a whole lifestyle. It wasn't like I have
- 52:16Speaker 1: artists and good music. It was a whole lifestyle. The
- 52:19Speaker 1: first urban um record label, like I'm talking about Urban right, Yeah,
- 52:25Speaker 1: But you know they had a lot going on and
- 52:28Speaker 1: Bad Boy they had Biggie, you know what I'm saying.
- 52:30Speaker 1: They had the death they had all that stuff going on.
- 52:33Speaker 1: Death Row they had Tupac who was going in and
- 52:35Speaker 1: out of jail, you know, Dre. You know it has
- 52:38Speaker 1: so much, so many elements on on murdering. It was
- 52:42Speaker 1: like a feel good because you had Arrow on a
- 52:43Speaker 1: shanty base. The only thing they had was the problem
- 52:45Speaker 1: here had association with Supreme in the trial. That's what
- 52:49Speaker 1: I'm saying. But that was the only thing. That's yeah,
- 52:51Speaker 1: you had, like we knew about. So my whole thing
- 52:54Speaker 1: is you had hit records. Question. Yeah, I agree with that.
- 52:58Speaker 1: I agree with that because they had more so feel
- 53:01Speaker 1: good music like bad Boy and death. Row was kind
- 53:03Speaker 1: of like he was on the journey with yeah well yeah,
- 53:06Speaker 1: and it was City of the City and it was
- 53:08Speaker 1: like I think, yeah, yeah, we're all on the same thing.
- 53:10Speaker 1: I think it would be better served for a job
- 53:13Speaker 1: if he created a business model for it and took
- 53:16Speaker 1: it like a play. I think he's look at all
- 53:18Speaker 1: the stream of money these young cats is getting, like, damn,
- 53:21Speaker 1: I missed that in my time. Let me see if
- 53:22Speaker 1: I can musical sales catch up to that. Nope, he's
- 53:25Speaker 1: trying to get that them streams. That's what people like
- 53:27Speaker 1: like you that grew up in middle school like me,
- 53:29Speaker 1: that was you know in it, like they you love
- 53:32Speaker 1: the music. If you had I mean thinking about I
- 53:35Speaker 1: don't want to go to circus and so like every
- 53:37Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying, I don't want to in Vegas.
- 53:39Speaker 1: If I could see the rules and you had in Atlanta,
- 53:45Speaker 1: Hollywood or other people in it, that would just be
- 53:48Speaker 1: a great look. I think they should do that in Atlanta.
- 53:51Speaker 1: They should do it somewhere black. I think so too.
- 53:53Speaker 1: I think everything should be in Atlanta. Okay, I think
- 53:55Speaker 1: everything that should be here. I was having this conversation
- 53:58Speaker 1: with Puff and I told, like, you need to bring
- 54:01Speaker 1: Revolt to Atlanta. I said, it does nothing for you
- 54:04Speaker 1: being in California. Being in California is cookie cutter, really,
- 54:08Speaker 1: because there's no culture. If you wanna talk about black culture,
- 54:12Speaker 1: I'm talking about three sixty degree its Atlanta. This is
- 54:15Speaker 1: this is the black man. And you have your your
- 54:18Speaker 1: posts on the little nudies and all these little things coming,
- 54:22Speaker 1: and you need all that ship at the beginning. Revolts
- 54:24Speaker 1: should be the speaker box for that. If you're the
- 54:26Speaker 1: speaker box for culture, so to Atlanta. I might come
- 54:29Speaker 1: back and run it with Andre Herrell. Okay, ladies and gentlemen,
- 54:32Speaker 1: now time for infucious. Say uh, ladies and gentlemen, when
- 54:38Speaker 1: it comes to your well being, you have to be selfish.
- 54:43Speaker 1: I think a lot of times we put people before
- 54:46Speaker 1: us in the wrong situations, for the wrong circumstances, and
- 54:53Speaker 1: definitely for the benefit of the other person. And you know,
- 54:58Speaker 1: this young lady that hit us a with the baller mail,
- 55:01Speaker 1: I feel bad, I really feel bad, because you were
- 55:05Speaker 1: engaged in a relationship that you probably didn't even realize
- 55:08Speaker 1: that you wanted more than the other person. And then
- 55:10Speaker 1: you come to a point where you're now pregnant and
- 55:14Speaker 1: you can't you can't get what you want ultimately out
- 55:17Speaker 1: the situation. The blessing is the baby. If you have
- 55:19Speaker 1: it other than that, it's gonna be turmoil, you know.
- 55:23Speaker 1: And I just think we gotta put ourselves first. Man,
- 55:26Speaker 1: And we're in these relationships and we're having unprotected sex
- 55:29Speaker 1: and we're out here doing the grown up You gotta
- 55:33Speaker 1: know that it's ship to come with that, and you
- 55:35Speaker 1: gotta make sure your partner is in the same mind
- 55:39Speaker 1: space that you are. Because I see too much of this,
- 55:42Speaker 1: and I'm I'm clearly getting older, and I'm I'm very more,
- 55:46Speaker 1: much more passionate about our people being whole because whole
- 55:49Speaker 1: is the goal. You can't be out here just playing
- 55:53Speaker 1: because that's not real life. Playing gets you in trouble
- 55:56Speaker 1: a lot of the time, and I'm not I'm talking
- 55:58Speaker 1: about the kind of trouble that you can't handle on
- 56:00Speaker 1: your own. So please ball the nation, be selfish when
- 56:03Speaker 1: it comes to you, because being whole is to go.
- 56:07Speaker 1: We love y'all, see your next week. Hope next week.
- 56:13Speaker 1: I love. I was gross. Trail on the screen A
- 56:19Speaker 1: nice word. I because the tree's reel
