- 0:27Time to leave your worries outside and join us here in the treehouse. I'm
- 0:33Dan, O'Malley along Wood, Trey Trendholme, Raj Sharma and very special guest
- 0:40friend to the show for many, many, many, many many many mini
- 0:43mini mini, mini mini, many years. The Rock and Roll attorney Everett
- 0:48Newton. Hello, e I don't think it's been quite that long. You
- 0:53don't think it's been that that many minis. It's a lot of damn minis.
- 0:57Man. Well, I mean, if we're being technical here, you
- 0:59are the longest running cast member of the show, because, yeah, you
- 1:04sound something that happened during Civil War times or something when you throw that.
- 1:10Well, no, the show hadn't been around that long. But I mean
- 1:11you started on the show back in the late nineties when it was on the
- 1:15Eagle the first time. It was a different millennia. That's true, that's
- 1:19true. You're the only surviving cast member from the previous century if it was
- 1:29the Beatles, your Paul, that's right, that's right. And I think
- 1:34we all know who who Lennen is. We got a couple of Mark David
- 1:42Chapman's and we do so once again, welcome into the Treehouse. I want
- 1:53to start the show with a quick plug for one of our one of our
- 1:56dear, dear advertisers, Brooks Plumbing, the boss lady in charge at Brooks
- 2:01Plumbing, our friend Jacqueline, has found herself in the middle of a of
- 2:08a I guess it's a photo contest. It's called Face of Horror. The
- 2:14website is Face of Horror dot org. You can actually vote for Jacqueline because
- 2:21there's apparently a grand prize associated with this, and I know Jacqueline, she
- 2:24is going to take whatever prize money is associated with that and probably you know,
- 2:28do something really good with it, like give us some So you can
- 2:32go to the Brooks Plumbing Facebook page and find the section where you can go
- 2:39to vote for Jacqueline, because it's very specific. These online things are very
- 2:43odd, like a specific link you have to follow to vote for Jacqueline in
- 2:49the Face of Horror contest. I don't know if y'all looked at her pictures
- 2:55very much. I saw one photo that I think the first post that she
- 3:01did on Facebook, but that's that's all I've seen. I looked through her
- 3:06photo shoot and and I shared it. You know, I want everyone to
- 3:10vote for her. And obviously support the people who support the show, But
- 3:15there is a lot of similarities between a horror photo shoot and a bondage softcore
- 3:23porn photo shoot, So I guess I need to do a little more research
- 3:30on this contest. To me, it looked like the cover of like an
- 3:38erotic horror novel, like that you would get at like this, like you
- 3:43would get at the bookstore, or like an upcoming like a true crime still
- 3:49like on the next episode of this or whatever it is, or sort of
- 3:53like a really graphic reenactment from Unsolved Mysteries. Yes, yeah, that's that's
- 3:59all I didn't like, Like where they show the reenactment of the murder scene
- 4:03and then when they cut back to Robert Stack, it's so graphic even he's
- 4:06kind of sweating, like whoo man. Yeah it was. It was like
- 4:11an erotica horror Uh if that makes if that I don't even know if that's
- 4:15a I'm sure it is. I don't even know why I said that.
- 4:18I don't know if that's a genre, but I'm sure it is. I
- 4:21think it goes back to rule thirty four. Uh, the Internet. Rule
- 4:26thirty four. If it exists in some fashion in the real world online there's
- 4:30porn for it. Oh okay, that's the very that's that's the short version
- 4:36of it. So it's like, if I'm trying to think of something,
- 4:41you know, ridiculous like bird watching, I guarantee you there's bird watching porn
- 4:46somewhere. That's rule thirty four. Now I I will, I will,
- 4:48I will contest that. No, there's not that. You can't I will
- 4:55you You don't. You don't think that in in in the history of porn,
- 4:59especially all the online that there's been some porn you know, scene shot
- 5:03where oh, you know, the helpless girl is out watching you know,
- 5:06birds with their binoculars and then all of a sudden spots something else. You
- 5:14sound, you sound like you've directed something. So that rule thirty four is
- 5:18absolutely correct if it exists in real time, there's a porn for it.
- 5:24I mean, good god, I mean there's anime. Yeah, I mean
- 5:29they're okay, but that, like I understood, I don't understand, but
- 5:32I know there's I had there have to be people that are into cartoons,
- 5:35right, that just sounds like something that that exists, right, Felix the
- 5:40cat that was out of nowhere. But okay, Felix the Cat. No,
- 5:46there was some kind of cat porn cartoon thing. It was not Felix.
- 5:51Do you know I'm talking about This is like from the seventies. It
- 5:56was like a spoof on Felix the Cat. It was it like Phelia up
- 6:00thet I like Roger's version better. I'm surprised it didn't go with that.
- 6:10I have no no cartoon porn. You know what the sad thing is is
- 6:15I have no problem googling that because my search history on this show is so
- 6:23wild, So it really doesn't even matter anymore what I what I what I
- 6:28search for, because I mean, if there's any sort of an algorithm like
- 6:31it's it already knows. Okay, Dan's Dan's dance on the radio or doing
- 6:35the podcast again because he's searching for some really weird stuff. Yeah, you
- 6:40like Dan, you can't like I just you know, just just joined the
- 6:43show full time. But like you, I'm just assuming like you can never
- 6:47get busted for a crime where they have to take your laptop or you're compelling
- 6:51me when I said, I was like, uh but no, Like when
- 7:02they're like like a murder or whatever it is, they're like, we got
- 7:05to see what he was, like, well he was searching before he killed
- 7:09this person. Yeah, because they would just take they would just do your
- 7:12search and be like, oh yeah, he definitely murdered that person. Yeah,
- 7:15in the weirdest possible way. Yeah, it's amazing some of the searchers,
- 7:19though, people undertake when planning a murder, you know, like they
- 7:23have no forethought that this might potentially come back to haunt them. You know,
- 7:27how to strangle Trey trend Home with my bare hands and kill him.
- 7:31You know, things like that, and people or my favorite is googling how
- 7:35do plan a murder? Like just in general. Yeah, so I that's
- 7:39one of the bits that I talk about on stage because I'm addicted to Investigation
- 7:42Discovery, Like that's my favorite show. And I'm like, man, it's
- 7:46it's just white people killing white people. It's fantastic, Like that's why I
- 7:49love watching it, because you guys like white people will recruit people and and
- 7:55people like I can't get people to help me move on some day, and
- 7:59these guys are like calling, like, hey, we had a family meeting
- 8:01and we've all decided Nana's got to go, and everybody everybody there's like cool,
- 8:05man, and everybody gets a job and somebody's like, what do you
- 8:07need me to do? Is like, can you run by Walmart and pick
- 8:09up tarp and a rope? And they're like yeah, and nobody thinks there's
- 8:13cameras. Well, everyone immediately flips on everyone else once they're arrested. There's
- 8:24gold loyalty here. Yeah, I do know, I do know there was
- 8:28something that was It seems like an obvious thing. But Captain Howard, a
- 8:33board member of the Listeners Foundation and very strong friend of the show, he
- 8:41told us many years ago, I think before he retired from the Dallas County
- 8:46Sheriff's Office, he told us some really groundbreaking information, and that is,
- 8:52criminals are stupid. And while it seems very obvious, and I'm sure Everett
- 8:56will have a plenty of evidence to support this, we give criminals too much
- 9:05credit. Sometimes sometimes they're just really, really dumb and they'll search for things
- 9:11like how to rob bank, how to murder Trey, how to avoid helping
- 9:16Raj move and for whatever reason they think it either goes away or what or
- 9:24maybe they're not even thinking at all. I have no idea if they have
- 9:26that ability to think that, hey, that could be used against you.
- 9:33Yeah, and then and and it's not like the good old days or you
- 9:37could just murder and get away with it. Now there's so much forensics involved,
- 9:43Like you can't you can't sneeze near the crime scene and they'll be like,
- 9:48well, your DNA was all over it, Like I sneeze three blocks
- 9:52away the wind care because the wind direction that day was going whatever. And
- 9:56then you're then you're just sitting in jail, like what happened? Man?
- 10:00Like sneezed And that's when and that's when the investigating officer comes in. It's
- 10:05like, we found your booker at the crime scene, so you have to
- 10:09be your booker. It could be your dog's booker. Yeah, you're right.
- 10:16That's one thing that that CSI shows don't do. They'll they'll they'll focus
- 10:18on fibers and actual DNA, but I don't know if they've ever had the
- 10:22booker case. But that was I was watching one yesterday where the guy uh
- 10:28like he was gonna he was going to walk. It was just guaranteed.
- 10:33He just there's two things. He left his jacket at the crime scene behind
- 10:39the door, and it ended up it ended up in the it ended up
- 10:45in a still picture that the media used to cover in their newspaper, used
- 10:50to cover the murder. They're like, this person was this was the crime
- 10:52scene photo, and somebody was like, oh, he was wearing that jacket
- 10:56at the bar, and now he's not wearing that. And number two on
- 11:00the suicide letter, there was no perspiration because most people sweat when they write
- 11:07a suicide letter, and there was no perspiration. And then he licked the
- 11:11envelope. So, Everett, have you ever had to defend someone who who
- 11:20was that just seemingly obviously dumb? Yes, I told you he would know.
- 11:33Well, I watched a lot of the same shows that you do,
- 11:37Roger, and I think it was an episode of the first forty eight where
- 11:39a guy left his prison id at the scene, just this driver's license,
- 11:48which would be you know, great in and of itself, but his prison
- 11:52idea it just speaks volumes. You know. It's like, there's so many
- 11:54stories here to be told at that point you might as well just you might
- 11:58as well just like, uh, slice open your finger and right in your
- 12:03own blood on the wall. I was here, Yeah, I did.
- 12:07I always tell my audiences. I was like, if you're walking through your
- 12:11house one day and you notice insurance papers you've never seen before. Uh,
- 12:16you're about to get got Like if you if you walk by, you're walking
- 12:22through the kitchen, you see on the counter like, Hey, I don't
- 12:24I didn't know we upped my the up to my life insurance. You're like,
- 12:28you might want to you might want to go on a vacation by yourself
- 12:31because he's about to kill you. That's a fact. Hell, Everett,
- 12:37didn't you have a client that like robbed at Jack in the box in order
- 12:43to get the money to pay you for another crime he had committed that was
- 12:46never proven the consummate attorney your looks. Visit us online on Treehouse OnAir dot
- 13:03com. Let's get Rodney Anderson into the treehouse now. His phone number nine
- 13:11seven two nine eight five fifty two hundred, the website twenty four seventh.
- 13:16Great information is Rodney Anderson dot com. But here right now to give us
- 13:20great information themselves is the man Rodney Anderson. So, Rodney, I know
- 13:22that not everybody's perfect. Sometimes they don't call you first even though we told
- 13:26them too. But let's say someone starts with one lender and you know,
- 13:31things don't necessarily seem to be going the right way. What are some signs
- 13:35that it could be time for a change and it is possible to change right
- 13:39Well, three things come to mind, Dan. Number one, you're not
- 13:43getting phone calls returned. You call the lender, two three, four times,
- 13:48no one seems to call you back. Number two, same thing with
- 13:50emails. You email them or they just aren't responsive giving me updates. That's
- 13:56number two. Number three, there's a lot of layoffs going on in the
- 14:00housing market, in the mortgage industry, and what's happening right now is phone
- 14:05calls. When people are making phone calls to lender, all of a sudden,
- 14:09you're hearing, Oh, they're no longer with our company. It's because
- 14:13many people have been laid off and they've been downsized, and it's taking him
- 14:16forever to close loans. Those are just three examples. We had a client
- 14:20last month working with a major bank. All of a sudden, he wasn't
- 14:22getting the service that he deserved. The realtor told him pick up the phone
- 14:26and call us. All of a sudden, the bank then turned down his
- 14:28load. We closed this loan about a week ago. Dan, on a
- 14:33six hundred thousand dollar purchase price and now he is in the home that he
- 14:37deserves, but he wasn't getting the service that he deserved from the big bank.
- 14:41Yeah, it really is important to find not just a lender who is
- 14:45willing to to lend you money and work with you, but one that knows
- 14:48what they're doing and we'll give you this service that you deserve the way that
- 14:50I've received from you, Rodney and your team. That's why I recommend Rodney
- 14:54Anderson his team here in the Treehouse two hundred nine seven two nine eight fifty
- 15:01two hundred or of course Rodney Anderson dot com. N FM Lending is an

- 15:52com. So I did a little googling because we got a little sidetracked from
- 15:58you know, we started out with, you know, horror porn and then
- 16:02went off into like most podcasts, into true crime. Steer us back into
- 16:10our lane of stupid. I googled Fritz the Cat, and the first thing
- 16:14that comes up is a still image or actually what Actually, I think this
- 16:19might be a movie poster. The first thing that comes up looks like a
- 16:22movie poster for Fritz the Cat, with the quotation above a cartoon of two
- 16:30cats says we're not X rated for nothing. Baby. Yeah, there you
- 16:37go. Cartoon porn and according to this Fritz the Cat nineteen seventy two,
- 16:45and I see a bathtub with one two three, like a dog, a
- 16:51cat, and some other things in there. I'm not really sure. Oh
- 16:53so it's interracial cartoon species. I don't know if that it might be both
- 17:02Rag, but clearly it was ahead of its time. See what you did,
- 17:10rogeak Tongues. What did you say, black song cats? Wow,
- 17:21Tray Trenholme, that was not Rag Harma that we might be hiring you for
- 17:30another reason. This is the second time This is the second time in a
- 17:34week that I've considered having to hire an HR professional for the three US.
- 17:42It's the Cat. Okay, I my phone's charged it, but I will
- 17:47have to look that. I think that's just hilarious. It says a lot
- 17:51about the seventies, like it was because you could, you could, there
- 17:56were there were porn theaters back then, Like well, there's porn theaters today.
- 18:02No, but like these were like not like standing theaters, Like don't
- 18:06is that still a thing? I thought the last one was on Grand Avenue
- 18:10years and years and years ago they shut it down. I thought the one
- 18:14on Mockingbird just got a recent influx of cash. So I know that's that
- 18:21adult theater ain't going anywhere anytime soon. Oh that's a Poular spot. I'm
- 18:26getting pissed because I just realized the context in which I saw the trailer for
- 18:30Fritz the Cat. It wasn't because if this came out in seventy two,
- 18:36I know, I know the movie that I was seven, but I know
- 18:38the movie that it was. The trailer for it was Tora, Tora,
- 18:41Tora. My parents and their infinite wisdom took me to a three hour long
- 18:48Japanese speaking movie when I was seven years old, and Fritz the Cat was
- 18:53one of the trailers. But I remember sitting there for for seemingly days hearing
- 18:57people speak Japanese about a war. I mean, I'm seven, So what
- 19:00do I know about? What is that traumatic event? Is that what caused
- 19:03you to only watch the what do you call him? Everett? Yeah?
- 19:12So is that traumatic events? What? What forced you to only watch silent
- 19:17films? It didn't help. I don't think you've have Have you seen a
- 19:22talkie since to Atatura? At the age of seven, I watched Phantasm,
- 19:30but I turned the sound down and I got on Spotify and I found some
- 19:36moniacal, uh, sort of honky talk sounding piano music to play in the
- 19:40background so I could sort of get the silent film feel turned off. Pose
- 19:45captioning, you know you watched. You are an avid silent film watcher.
- 19:52That's the only kind of movie I watch. Ohkay, I'm not in the
- 19:56talkies with all that gambering clickity clack into the gums. I you know,
- 20:02yeah, I know. That's so when did you start murdering? Nineteen seventy
- 20:11three, right after he saw the trailer for Fritz. So was it actual?
- 20:18Was it actual cartoon cat porn like where it showed penetration and stuff,
- 20:22or was it just like a hard r Well they didn't show it in the
- 20:26trailer, but I remember being curious enough about it even at seven that I
- 20:30asked my parents, you know, seventeen hours later when Torotora ended about you
- 20:36know what, what's this Fritz the cat thing about? So you know,
- 20:40my super uptight parents, then you were able to just directly ask somebody about
- 20:45the random thing you saw. Me. On the other hand, if I
- 20:48stumble across some cartoon cat porn or or the zombie porn I accidentally saw one
- 20:55time, I have no one to ask about that other than you guys at
- 21:00some point and be like, hey, have you ever have you ever seen
- 21:03this? Because I mean, we established it in the previous segment that if
- 21:07it exists in real life, there's there's porn for it somewhere online. But
- 21:10that doesn't mean you want to see it, you know what I mean?
- 21:12Like, I don't necessarily want to see the girl who's got binoculars looking for
- 21:17birds and stumbles across a cockatoo and next thing you know, porn or two
- 21:26I'm just curious, Everett, because I've been to East Texas and you know,
- 21:32you're you're talking about an area that, to say is conservative and reserved,
- 21:36and you go back to the seventies, did your parents take you to
- 21:37the big city to see tour tour tour, because it seems like an animated
- 21:42porn trailer would would really cause a stink in East Texas. Yeah. Did
- 21:48did Van Texas have a movie theater? Well at this time, I was
- 21:51in Nakadochis, so you know it's big town. Yeah, it was a
- 21:56Jack theater, those fancy academics, Yes, those liberals, the Lumberjack Theater.
- 22:11Lumberjacks. You know, I know it's the mascot, but just come
- 22:15on, like like you can't name it that like and not expect cat porn
- 22:19should have been the least of your worries in the in the Lumberjack theater.
- 22:25Like you take that name of a movie theater anywhere else and people are like,
- 22:29yeah, you don't want to go in there. The floors are sticky,
- 22:33you don't want to go it shows something but X rated cartoon porn.
- 22:37Yeah, yeah, it's it's not just the floors that Jack Theater and can
- 22:42we just kind of backtrack for a second. I've never heard of anybody stumbling
- 22:48in the zombie porn Like, that's not that you haven't no no, no,
- 22:52no, no, that's not a thing. You don't stumble. You
- 22:56don't stumble across porn like you're searching for it and you no no, no,
- 23:00no, you can stumble like you don't stumble across porn. You go
- 23:03to a website and then sort of like YouTube sometimes all suggest things or if
- 23:08it just happen years like this happened years ago when I stumbled across a zombie
- 23:14porn. It wasn't because I was big into zombie apocalypse stuff, or maybe
- 23:17that's part of what it was, because I was, you know, filling
- 23:18out my forms of you know what my ideal vehicle would be back in that
- 23:22phase. So I don't know if porn hub is following you the way that's
- 23:26a Google does with everything or Instagram does, but maybe because there was a
- 23:33now we now know as a creator. So it's like the amateur people that
- 23:37have their own channels and you might be and they're not necessarily sticking with one
- 23:44niche. They're just kind of hitting all of them to see what sticks kind
- 23:47of like is what social media is. But in this phase porn and so
- 23:51there was there was one person that had a video doing one thing that was
- 23:55pretty normal, and then it rolled into the next one and and she's getting
- 24:00a zombied. Okay, so you stayed on long enough for the porn to
- 24:06roll into another one. I was fascinated. At a certain point, it
- 24:12ceases to be arousing, and then I'm just genuinely curious. It's like,
- 24:17okay, what is what? What's going to happen here? I'm now I'm
- 24:19just watching for the actual what's going to happen effect? And initially, initially
- 24:26it was arousing. The previous thing that I was that I was looking at
- 24:30was arousing. And then and then somehow the next video popped up and it
- 24:34was it was, yeah, I don't know what. I'm not an I
- 24:38professional, I don't know how this stuff works. That was closely linked to
- 24:45zombie porn was arousing the link before itself. You're like, no, that's
- 24:52that's ridiculous. I'm not watching that at all. That was not a that
- 24:56that was not an arousing thing for me. It might be for somebody else.
- 25:00Clearly she was doing it for somebody. But I did learn that apparently
- 25:06if you get cream pie by a zombie, you become one. I'm still
- 25:14stuck on somehow, Dan, were you sitting on a stranger's couch and then
- 25:18were showing you videos when all this is going on, I was not on
- 25:25an episode of casting couch tricks and they're telling you don't worry about the cameras
- 25:29and I just so happened to to take the bang bus on the way to
- 25:34the appointment. Still just some like like like there's some magic behind and for
- 25:44you, Like I was just watching it and then somehow I don't And you've
- 25:49watched, and you've watched it long enough to know that after a zombie creep
- 25:52by they turned into a zombie. What are you doing? That's after you
- 25:56watched the first video? Love enough for I can see Dan, Now,
- 26:03I don't care if it's been an hour and a half, this stuff still
- 26:04hadn't turned me on. It wasn't. I gave it. I gave it
- 26:10a real honest shot. Look, at a certain point, if you're not
- 26:18turned on by the by the zombie porn, then you're just watching it out
- 26:22of morbid curiosity, which is OK. Then you have to start with that.
- 26:26You can't. I just stumbled across. But it's true. You've never
- 26:33given like, no, hang on, you've never clicked on one thing and
- 26:36then you got somehow, somehow, through the magic of it, another video
- 26:41jumped up. No, I usually don't need that long. If that actually
- 26:47happened to me the other day on the Peacock channel when I was trying to
- 26:51hit play on one TV. I was trying to hit play on watching the
- 26:55Cowboys game on Sunday night, and right as I'm hitting the okay, but
- 27:00to hit play on the Cowboys game, the little tile across the screen slid
- 27:03to the Chucky series, and I accidentally hit play on the Chucky series.
- 27:07So it's not like it it's not like this stuff never happens. It happens.
- 27:11You can the same way I stumbled across zombie porn. I stumbled across
- 27:14the Chucky Uh that series. Yeah, but I feel like you have actually
- 27:18reached the end of the Internet when it comes to zombie porn. I mean
- 27:22I feel like if a video pops up, you're like, oh, yeah,
- 27:23that's Bob and boiling springs. He does that specially, Look you leave
- 27:30Bob out of this Dan got so far that when the movie said the end
- 27:37it was the Internet, it was like, and it just sends you back
- 27:44to the beginning of the Internet. Yeah, wave right back to aol dot
- 27:49com. There are times I have felt like I've reached the end of the
- 27:57Internet. That that that is one of the hosts where I will say at
- 28:02the end, when I saw the zombie completion and then the girl turned into
- 28:07one because he creamed Bier, that was a that was a very interesting moment
- 28:14in my life where I realized, Okay, I just watched that, and
- 28:18and I watched it again. Wasn't out of any sort of arousal seeking at
- 28:22that point. It was just Okay, that exists, and because it exists,
- 28:27I have it's kind of like watching a train wreck. I have to
- 28:30watch it. Yeah, it was arousal seeking at that point, but previously
- 28:38it was a different video. It was it was something else, entirely non
- 28:41zombie related. It was just very normal, good videos of goldfish and then
- 28:55suddenly it's the same thing. It's like I was watching I was watching the
- 29:00Puppy Bowl and the next thing you know, there'sing each other another Teletubbi's did
- 29:07that we'll just simply say there's some sick stuff. The worst part though,
- 29:23is having to explain to your wife the search history. I just like,
- 29:29I just like you go at the end, you know, And and then
- 29:33she turned so you watched the whole thing at some point. The makers,
- 29:37the makers, the amateurs that we're doing this, who looked at their metrics
- 29:41and they're like, somebody went to the end again, shut up? Will
- 29:55we at least see some of this on your only Dan's account? I hate

- 34:52to have a serious conversation with Jackline for getting me in all this trouble.
- 34:59But I would like to take advantage of all this porn talk to share with
- 35:04you a story Trey sent me earlier today, and that is about a retired
- 35:08doctor's luxury yacht was rated last week and was allegedly the set of pornographic films.
- 35:15According to the Nantucket Current, they found the bang boat, they did,
- 35:23and the man that captains it is from Nantucket. There's just so much
- 35:31to this story, not the least of which is the yacht's owner, Scott
- 35:36Burke, is also sixty nine years old. He is facing drug and weapons
- 35:45charges after police said they found drugs, guns, and prostitutes on board during
- 35:50a wellness check in Nantucket Harbor. A search warrant Affidavid sided by their current,
- 35:54says the woman at the center of the wellness check told a friend people
- 35:58on the yacht, we're doing drugs all weekend long, and people on the
- 36:00boat had been making pornographic films. She also told her friend that she did
- 36:05not feel safe and was afraid to be on the boat. Burke, that's
- 36:07the doctor. That's retired in his sixty nine and as the captain of the
- 36:10bank boat police described as extremely uncooperative. He's denied having any knowledge of the
- 36:16drugs on board, and his lawyer said he has late stage cancer. Everett
- 36:22has that ever worked in a defendant's defense is saying, well he's got cancer.
- 36:29No, in fact, that a guy that had terminal cancer and judge
- 36:34sent a prison. So how there you go? Yes, uh, uh
- 36:40cant wouldn't you as a defense lawyer go, well, those were just props
- 36:45for the movie. Yes, yeah, I used the props argument freely.
- 36:51Ye see it is something low Yeah see see Raj, there's still time to
- 36:59make your parents. My dad, my dad didn't want me to go to
- 37:02law school. It's like you you talk so much you couldn't go. I'm
- 37:06like, all right, that that works. I think the thing. I
- 37:08think there's more to it than talking. But no, I was just it's
- 37:12a word count. Yeah, but I would just go he didn't know he's
- 37:15got he's sixty nine, which is hilarious for the situation. Uh, and
- 37:22he is a man from Nantucket. It really does check all the boxes of
- 37:25seemingly a made up story. Yeah, it sounds like a Limerick, we
- 37:36altered it. I feel like we're bordering on like our own treehouse version of
- 37:40the Aristocrats. Once it was a man from Nantucket, but he wasn't just
- 37:50a man, he was a doctor. I just I would go with he
- 37:54didn't know that the drugs and guns were real prostitutes thing be like, well,
- 38:00no, I paid them as actors, right, and like I would
- 38:05present that because there's it's it's just probably a plausible deniability, right, isn't
- 38:08that what you have to prove, Like there's a possibility that that he didn't
- 38:13know, Well, you don't. You don't have to prove anything. Is
- 38:15it offended? The state has well, that's why the state that's right,
- 38:20reasonable doubt. So you know what happens. This is what happens when you
- 38:23grow up watching too much Mattlock in the Lumberjack Theater. I just can't get
- 38:35up. Sorry, uh yeah, that's uh yeah okay. I like I
- 38:39like this guy already has a lawyer. I like it. I like that
- 38:44he uh has well, he's a he's a retired doctor, yacht owner in
- 38:49Nantucket. He knows an attorney. Yeah, I dig it. I just
- 38:52feel like there's a lot of yacht owners right now, they are going crap.
- 38:55No drugs or hookers on the boat. I always just assumed that that
- 39:01was not I just always assumed yachts came with that compartment. That's see,
- 39:07I see I lived in Sherman Oaks, and and that's where all the porn
- 39:12is filmed outside of this man's yacht apparently, but but all like all the
- 39:16porn. And and that's when I, like I knew, Like when you
- 39:22find out things about your friends you didn't know, Like there's a there's a
- 39:24restaurant. They're called El Trito on on Ventura Boulevard, and apparently I did
- 39:29not know this until this day. That's where all the porn stars hang out
- 39:32after work. I don't know what you call it is, okay, I
- 39:37mean, I guess after a hard day, a hard day, I don't
- 39:43know what to call it. Of work, that's where they go to let
- 39:46loose. I don't know. I don't know how they relax, but that's
- 39:50where they go to drink. And I walked in with a buddy mine because
- 39:52they're happy hours great and he literally was like Michael Jackson walked in the building
- 39:58like he was star struck. And I was like, what's going on,
- 40:00dude? You okay? And he's like, dude, you not recognize who's
- 40:02in this place. I'm like no, And he knew. Like he went
- 40:07up to a couple of them, was like, big fan of your work,
- 40:09like look like like like they were legit celebrities to this guy. And
- 40:13I was like, oh, man, I didn't know you were so involved
- 40:17that you knew the actor's names. Uh. And then a lot of people
- 40:23get into things, you know, really heavily that they're really into, like
- 40:28zombie porn. You think strolling into El Tto, they're like, hey,
- 40:32Dan made it to the end. They're probably just impressed that I recognized them
- 40:44through the zombie This is how exactly right. That's how they introduced him to
- 40:51everybody. He watches the whole movie. Look, if you watch the zombie
- 40:55porn all the way to the end, you pick up on interesting zombie information.
- 41:00Like in zombie porn, they don't crave brains. Okay, you're hungry
- 41:08for other things. Uh okay. Yeah. I was just like yeah,
- 41:17but we would drive by like and I started like, I say, okay,
- 41:22like you're right, Dan, maybe he's into the that's his thing,
- 41:24And like he's got favorite actors. Sure. And then like a couple of
- 41:30months later, we're just driving to the comedy club and he's like, and
- 41:32then you know they used that house. I'm like, you recognize the exterior
- 41:36of a house, like like he knew like where they filmed the stuff,
- 41:42And I was like, wow, okay. And then another buddy of mine
- 41:45was a driver for the girl Like he would pick up the girls from their
- 41:47house and drive the drugs thing. I think everybody knows, like that's that's
- 41:53an industry that's kind of flowed. But I respect this doctor at sixty nine.
- 42:00Yeah. The thing that bothers me about this story though, is once
- 42:04again the journalist has not asked some important questions to help round out the story.
- 42:12So, yeah, okay, we know a retired doctor's luxury yacht was
- 42:15rated was a set of porn films and had drugs and guns and prostitutes on
- 42:22it, But at no point do they say what kind of doctor he was
- 42:28or prostitutes. We don't know which kind they were? Does doesn't? Okay?
- 42:37And backup, Dan, I don't know if this is necessary for your
- 42:40visual visualization of this of the thing where you have to know who weird details.
- 42:45Uh if he was, like, if he was a proctologist, would
- 42:50it be like ah makes sense now, Like I don't know what his specialty
- 42:54has to do with because I have an inquisitive mind as as as I would
- 43:00think you would have learned by now one. I am willing to watch to
- 43:04the end of Zombie or not for the arousal, but for the sheer curiosity
- 43:07of it. The same thing with this uh you know, porn director,
- 43:12slash doctor, drug gun runner guy and Nan Tuckett. I'm curious to know
- 43:16what his specialty was was Was he a pediatrist? Is he a proctologist?
- 43:22Was he a semi retired gynecologist? Which might have worked as a defense in
- 43:27this case. I'm just glad to hear you know you so often you hear
- 43:31about people who retire and don't have anything to do. This man found his
- 43:39true purpose. He's drugs, guns, hookers, a yacht. He's he's
- 43:46kind of going on. I mean, say what you will, but they
- 43:51say you have to have a reason to wake up in the morning. So
- 44:01at the end of the day, we're all just envious that he's really got
- 44:04a Yeah, Everett, thanks for joining us in the Treehouse. Good good
