Most of us are asleep. Most Westerners are asleep as
• 0:04
though what is really going on with China and with precious
• 0:08
metals? Unbelievable upward moves in the
• 0:15
price of gold and silver. How does that make you feel?
• 0:19
But we got to pay attention to the biggest factor right now
• 0:23
that will enable those massive upward moves to continue into
• 0:27
the coming months, quarters and years.
• 0:30
And there is no other factor that will drive the price of
• 0:34
  precious metals higher than China.
• 0:36
Look, China is by some measures, the world's largest economy.
• 0:41
By almost anybody's measure, it's the world's second largest
• 0:45
economy. So what they do with precious
• 0:48
metals is going to have a major impact on the price levels that
• 0:52
we enjoy in the coming year. Now you need to remember
• 0:56
something. Most of us are asleep.
• 0:59
Most Westerners are asleep as though what is really going on
• 1:03
with China and with precious metals.
• 1:06
Let's dig into a couple fascinating developments and see
• 1:09
if we can put this all together. Understand what we can expect as
• 1:14
China continues to become a dominant player not only in the
• 1:18
world economy but also in the precious metals markets.
• 1:22
Let's run out to this article, which gives us a big clue as to
• 1:27
how China is viewing their natural resources, viewing their
• 1:32
silver and gold. China bans export of critical
• 1:36
minerals to the United States as trade tensions escalate, we know
• 1:41
there's a big move in the world right now nationalization.
• 1:44
Now China didn't ban the export of silver and gold, but they did
• 1:48
ban the the export of some critical minerals last week.
• 1:52
On Tuesday, China ban exports to the United States of critical
• 1:56
  minerals gallium, germanium, and antimony.
• 1:59
Now we do know that when it comes to silver and gold, China
• 2:02
pretty much keeps all the silver and gold that they mine
• 2:07
internally within their country. Sure, they sell a few Chinese
• 2:11
pandas, but for the most part, they keep the lion's share of
• 2:15
  their metals internal within China.
• 2:18
And we know they're buying gold and silver like crazy.
• 2:22
We'll talk about that here in a little bit.
• 2:24
But when it comes to monetary policy, when it comes to what
• 2:28
the Chinese are doing right now to deal with a slowing economy,
• 2:33
China vows more proactive fiscal stimulus measures, moderately
• 2:38
looser monetary policy. This came out on Monday,
• 2:42
December 9th, and it sent the precious metals prices soaring.
• 2:47
OK, The Chinese are going to do what the United States has done
• 2:51
in the other Western countries. They're going to fight the
• 2:53
current economic troubles they're having with loosey
• 2:56
goosey monetary policy, which will only continue to light a
• 3:01
match underneath the value of silver and gold.
• 3:06
I want you to think about something if you're a standard
• 3:08
Chinese citizen. We don't realize this, guys.
• 3:11
We are asleep. But in China, your average
• 3:13
Chinese person no longer trust the residential real estate
• 3:18
  market. They've sustained major losses
• 3:21
in their residential real estate market.
• 3:23
Most Chinese are now becoming more distrustful of their stock
• 3:27
market. They've had problems in their
• 3:29
stock market, not like the bubble we have here in the
• 3:32
United States. Bubble, bubble, double trouble,
• 3:34
no. So Chinese aren't trusting the
• 3:37
real estate market, aren't trusting the real estate market.
• 3:41
And from what I understand, Chinese people pretty much never
• 3:44
trusted the banks. What do they trust?
• 3:46
Gold and silver. Does that explain why earlier in
• 3:49
the year today we saw 800,800 thousand people lined up at a
• 3:55
shopping mall gold store to buy gold?
• 3:58
This is what's happening in our world right now.
• 4:01
Also, another interesting Chinese story regarding gold.
• 4:07
Gold rises as China resumes buying.
• 4:13
The central bank is again and again hot off the presses on
• 4:17
this. On December 9th, gold climbed to
• 4:20
A2 week high at China's central bank, added bullion to its
• 4:24
reserve for the first time in seven months and concerns about
• 4:29
the Middle East. But the Chinese central bank
• 4:31
started buying gold again for the first time in seven months.
• 4:33
I think there was an 18 month straight streak prior to when
• 4:37
they stopped buying that they bought for 18 straight months in
• 4:41
a row. Now we're going to talk about
• 4:44
another interesting factor regarding Chinas gold purchases.
• 4:48
But if you wanna buy some gold or silver, if you wanna be your
• 4:51
own central bank, please consider supporting channel
• 4:54
sponsor pinbacks. I'm gonna bring you out to their
• 4:56
website here. Pi MB EX online bullion dealer
• 5:01
sponsor of Ron's Basement. They make this video possible.
• 5:04
They make our group possible. What they can give you is a
• 5:07
great deal, a great value on precious metals, gold, silver,
• 5:12
platinum, group metals. Their prices are ultra
• 5:15
competitive. They always have a great
• 5:16
selection. And my experience has been and
• 5:20
the overwhelming experience that I've heard about from our
• 5:23
community is that they're a great company to work with,
• 5:27
great customer service, and they're a company that you and
• 5:30
trust. Now back to another article on
• 5:33
China because it, it just seems to never end in here, right?
• 5:40
On top of the fact that their central bank is buying gold,
• 5:43
China also just announced that they have the world's largest
• 5:46
gold deposit found worth over 80 billion U.S. dollars.
• 5:51
I want to put this in perspective for you because it's
• 5:53
a deposit of high quality gold ore containing around 1000
• 5:58
metric tons, 1001, 100 US tons of the precious metal has been
• 6:03
discovered in Central China. To put that into perspective for
• 6:07
you and me, that's like 15% of all the gold that we supposedly
• 6:13
have in Fort Knox. We also know that the Shanghai
• 6:17
Gold Exchange, the Shanghai Futures Exchange is becoming
• 6:21
more and more of a dominant player in the international
• 6:25
trade of precious metals. And very interestingly, a two
• 6:29
things about the Shanghai Gold Exchange, it is more of a
• 6:32
physical market. It's the opposite of the COMEX
• 6:36
in the LBMA, the Shanghai Gold Exchange, they're actually
• 6:39
trading physical market. And as we've investigated
• 6:44
extensively over the last several months, typically when
• 6:48
it comes to silver in particular, you'll have a higher
• 6:51
price in the physical Shanghai Gold Exchange market for
• 6:56
physical silver. It's all starting to add up,
• 6:59
guys. Again, a lot of our fellow
• 7:01
Westerners are a little bit asleep as to what's going on.
• 7:05
On top of that, we know that China is the world's
• 7:08
manufacturer, right? Solar panels, electric cars.
• 7:12
It's stunning the growth that the Chinese economy has achieved
• 7:16
over the last several decades. And they have a voracious
• 7:20
appetite. They love their gold right as a
• 7:23
store of value, but they need silver like no one in the world
• 7:28
has ever needed silver before. They're going directly to the
• 7:32
source now in Mexico, in Peru, in binds raw silver ore that
• 7:38
will never touch the Comex or the LBMA.
• 7:42
It's going to be an interesting ride.
• 7:44
I do want to say thank you to channel sponsor first mining
• 7:47
gold. Canadian gold developer with two
• 7:49
multi million ounce gold deposits in Canada, gold in the
• 7:54
ground in Canada development stage company and Fortuna
• 7:58
Mining. They're an active gold and
• 7:59
silver mining company with operations in Latin America and
• 8:03
West Africa, Africa. You can learn more about both
• 8:06
those companies at their respective websites, a link to
• 8:09
which I'll have in the description of this video.
• 8:12
It's going to be a wild ride as we move into 2025, right, moves
• 8:18
by China and again, most of our cohorts here in the West are
• 8:23
  asleep. We know that.
• 8:24
We know Western investment in precious metals is still rather
• 8:28
stagnant, while the East, right, we haven't even touched on
• 8:32
India. But China alone gives us such
• 8:36
reason to be optimistic and such reason to to feel comfortable
• 8:41
with the fact that we've decided to store some of our wealth in
• 8:44
silver, gold even or precious metal mining stocks.
• 8:48
Thanks for being here, thanks for being part of the basement.
• 8:50
Have a great rest of your day and I'll look forward to seeing
• 8:53
  you soon.
