- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I Almost Famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with iHeartRadio.
- 0:05Speaker 2: It's Almost Famous podcast. We are here today to do
- 0:08Speaker 2: an episode we do every season, which is breakdown the
- 0:12Speaker 2: women coming on the next season of The Bachelor, which
- 0:16Speaker 2: is right around the corner. But before we do, we
- 0:19Speaker 2: have to we want to speak of the obvious. This
- 0:23Speaker 2: has been a confusing week. Words haven't quite been able
- 0:28Speaker 2: to be wrapped around the devastation in Los Angeles. It
- 0:32Speaker 2: felt like you woke up one morning, the news broke
- 0:36Speaker 2: and then it just continued for twenty four hours. In
- 0:40Speaker 2: all twenty four hours, I think so many of us
- 0:41Speaker 2: were just that don't live in LA. We're sitting watching
- 0:46Speaker 2: texting friends that do live there, and then obviously if
- 0:49Speaker 2: you're living in the Los Angeles area. From the friends
- 0:53Speaker 2: that I've talked to, it felt like hell on Earth
- 0:56Speaker 2: and it was chaotic, devastating, confused, sad, disorienting, and it
- 1:03Speaker 2: actually it seems like most people kind of still sit
- 1:06Speaker 2: in that place because there's still so much yet to
- 1:10Speaker 2: be known.
- 1:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I wouldn't say it's over yet or that anybody
- 1:14Speaker 3: feels like in the clear. I think that LA is
- 1:17Speaker 3: a place. Well, for me, it was my home of
- 1:19Speaker 3: five and a half years, a place that I still
- 1:23Speaker 3: feel so alive in. Every time that I land there,
- 1:27Speaker 3: it is just has like an energy and an excitement
- 1:30Speaker 3: and for me, a sense of comfort and home. And
- 1:33Speaker 3: it's so crazy to see what's happening. It's really to
- 1:37Speaker 3: me just like it still feels unfathomable, like I don't
- 1:41Speaker 3: even know. It's just really hard to feel real. I
- 1:46Speaker 3: know that the people that are there right now, it
- 1:48Speaker 3: feels so real, so apocalyptic, and I'm so glad that
- 1:53Speaker 3: everybody is listening to these warnings and getting out of
- 1:55Speaker 3: their house. That is one thing that I think people
- 1:59Speaker 3: are doing it. You know that people are really listening
- 2:05Speaker 3: and gaining an out of their house and valuing that
- 2:07Speaker 3: what's the most important is their lives their safety.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Yeah, we obviously have lost a few people in the
- 2:13Speaker 2: midst of this fires, but as actually said, the life
- 2:16Speaker 2: is so much more part. I listened to an interview
- 2:18Speaker 2: yesterday with a ninety one year old who lost his
- 2:20Speaker 2: house for Palisades, and obviously the you know adjectives we
- 2:26Speaker 2: used earlier seemed to be true there. But at the
- 2:29Speaker 2: same time, he's still standing and he will be able
- 2:33Speaker 2: to continue on and share this story, teach people in
- 2:40Speaker 2: the midst of this story, and also continue to live life.
- 2:43Speaker 2: Like you said, Ashley, the lives are so much more important.
- 2:46Speaker 3: But not to you know, at all, downplay the importance
- 2:50Speaker 3: of somebody's home and their sentimentals and all their belongings
- 2:54Speaker 3: and just absolutely devastating. We have probably I don't know
- 2:59Speaker 3: if I shouldn't speak for you, but I feel like
- 3:01Speaker 3: we have probably more friends that live in La concentrated
- 3:04Speaker 3: than any other place in the country. So we've just
- 3:10Speaker 3: we've been thinking about them and checking in on everybody.
- 3:13Speaker 3: It's crazy. One of the Bachelor producers, she texted me,
- 3:16Speaker 3: she was like, the kids are just so scared that
- 3:18Speaker 3: their toys are all going to be gone.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I mean that's a real thing, right, and
- 3:25Speaker 2: right now people are probably today going to start going
- 3:27Speaker 2: back towards their homes. The real rebuilding process is so difficult, right.
- 3:36Speaker 2: I've heard a quote a few years ago, and it
- 3:39Speaker 2: kind of relates to personal and also the material things
- 3:43Speaker 2: in our world. But the destruction of something is quick
- 3:46Speaker 2: and somewhat easy, right, It happens in a blink of
- 3:50Speaker 2: an eye. The rebuilding is what gets to be the
- 3:54Speaker 2: most difficult. And right now, yes, we can sit here
- 3:57Speaker 2: and say, hey, the fires are out. You know, there's
- 4:01Speaker 2: always still the risk of more fires to come. But
- 4:05Speaker 2: now people are going to have to go back and
- 4:07Speaker 2: see and process and try to understand how do we
- 4:10Speaker 2: get going again. So with that, as we transition into
- 4:14Speaker 2: this episode, I do want to share a few resources. Obviously,
- 4:18Speaker 2: the Red Cross is currently on the ground in Los
- 4:21Speaker 2: Angeles trying to set up shelters and to give support
- 4:25Speaker 2: and relief wherever needed for essential items. Also, as I've
- 4:30Speaker 2: spoken about in the podcast before, I've had the privilege
- 4:32Speaker 2: of sitting on the board of Project Hope, which has
- 4:36Speaker 2: invested into disaster relief really since the hurricanes a few
- 4:39Speaker 2: years ago in the US. I got a message from
- 4:44Speaker 2: the CEO last night that Project Hope is on the
- 4:47Speaker 2: ground and Project Hope is going to invest not only
- 4:49Speaker 2: in the shelters, but also alongside other organizations in psychosocial support,
- 4:54Speaker 2: help and care. So if you're out there in the
- 4:56Speaker 2: Los Angeles area, you're listening and you're saying I feel alone,
- 5:00Speaker 2: need this. If you have a need, don't hesitate to
- 5:03Speaker 2: reach out. Those are the two organizations that I would recommend,
- 5:07Speaker 2: Project Hope and the American Red Cross. I'm sure there's
- 5:10Speaker 2: many other aid organizations on the ground in your area.
- 5:13Speaker 2: Ask for help. Help is necessary right now, even if
- 5:16Speaker 2: you feel like you can do it on your own,
- 5:18Speaker 2: even if you feel like, hey, I'm just gonna plug
- 5:22Speaker 2: through this thing, getting support and help right now is
- 5:25Speaker 2: necessary because then here's the other benefit. You can tell
- 5:30Speaker 2: others where they can get good support and help because
- 5:33Speaker 2: you're gonna have to do this together. But we feel
- 5:35Speaker 2: for you. We're with you. And however, the almost famous
- 5:39Speaker 2: podcast can Help, which is based out of la We
- 5:44Speaker 2: desire to be there in whatever ways are needed. Now,
- 5:49Speaker 2: maybe a brief reprieve from all the difficulty that is
- 5:57Speaker 2: surrounding your life. We are going to break down grants
- 5:59Speaker 2: women that are coming on this season of The Bachelor today.
- 6:03Speaker 2: This is an episode we do every season where we
- 6:06Speaker 2: give our.
- 6:07Speaker 3: Ben's favorite and Mildis favorite.
- 6:10Speaker 2: We're going to say a bunch of things about people
- 6:12Speaker 2: that aren't true. We have to no clue who these
- 6:15Speaker 2: people are. This will be our unsolicited opinions based on
- 6:19Speaker 2: a sentence that we have about them, their names, and
- 6:22Speaker 2: their Bachelor pictures that can range from well done to
- 6:27Speaker 2: what in the world were you thinking and why did
- 6:29Speaker 2: the Bachelor do this to you? And that's what we
- 6:32Speaker 2: do every season. And so if you're listening to this
- 6:34Speaker 2: and you're thinking, hey, I am now going to judge
- 6:38Speaker 2: this person all season based on our opinion, you should
- 6:43Speaker 2: not do that. That would be a really bad decision
- 6:45Speaker 2: on your part. But you should go on to the
- 6:47Speaker 2: website that we're going to be using today and also
- 6:50Speaker 2: just give your unsolicited advice and opinions about the women
- 6:54Speaker 2: coming on this season. We're using the Today Shows website.
- 6:58Speaker 2: It's Todayshow dot com or it's Today dot com and
- 7:02Speaker 2: you can probably just google Grant Ellis's Bachelor contestants from
- 7:06Speaker 2: the Today Show and you can follow along with this list.
- 7:10Speaker 3: You may be like, why are you using an NBC website? Well,
- 7:13Speaker 3: guess what, guys, very weird this season. ABC on the
- 7:18Speaker 3: Bachelor part of their website not listing the girls at all.
- 7:23Speaker 3: There's a press release and they have like a group
- 7:26Speaker 3: they have a picture of all the pictures, and then
- 7:29Speaker 3: they have their mini bios. We don't have one of
- 7:32Speaker 3: those long paragraphs. We usually have like thick paragraphs on
- 7:36Speaker 3: each girl, which really helps us judge them further. Not
- 7:41Speaker 3: much this year, So we're really going off Looks alone.
- 7:44Speaker 3: And yes, as Ben mentioned, we're going off to the
- 7:46Speaker 3: Today Show. But it's also in alphabetical order. And if
- 7:50Speaker 3: you want to see as much of the girls as possible,
- 7:53Speaker 3: go over to the Bachelor's instagram where they have a
- 7:57Speaker 3: couple carousels of their photos.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Ready, start, let's do it all right. First person we
- 8:06Speaker 2: have is Alex. Oh.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, so you know how I do this. I
- 8:10Speaker 3: give the info and then he gives the judgment because I,
- 8:13Speaker 3: as a girl, cannot give the judgment for girls. She
- 8:16Speaker 3: is a twenty seven years old A.
- 8:18Speaker 2: Guy does yeah, because there was so much better.
- 8:24Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, it's really a lose lose here. So
- 8:27Speaker 3: she's a twenty seven year old pediatric speech therapist from
- 8:30Speaker 3: New Brunswick, Canada. She's a big animal lover after growing
- 8:34Speaker 3: up on a farm. She likes cooking, competition shows, and
- 8:38Speaker 3: she's fluent in French.
- 8:39Speaker 2: Ben, here's my one thing. I noticed this recently, asked
- 8:44Speaker 2: my wife about it. Baggy jeans are in Huh.
- 8:48Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, you don't like them? Guys hate them?
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me. I mean, and
- 8:53Speaker 2: I don't say that from like oh, I love somebody
- 8:55Speaker 2: in tight jeans. No, I like tighte jans personally, like
- 8:57Speaker 2: I wear.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Them, so does Jared. And I'm like Jared, I would
- 9:01Speaker 3: love ty jeans to never ever come back into style.
- 9:04Speaker 3: So many millennials want their skinny jeans back. I'm like, no,
- 9:07Speaker 3: you guys, what we have right now. They're soft. They
- 9:09Speaker 3: let us breathe. They just let us breathe. We don't
- 9:13Speaker 3: have indents on our legs where we take our pants off.
- 9:16Speaker 3: But yeah, what's up with you guys? Like in straight leg.
- 9:19Speaker 2: I work out. I want people to see my quads.
- 9:25Speaker 3: Then we're some yoga pants man.
- 9:27Speaker 2: Don't put it past me anyways. Alex. What I'll say
- 9:29Speaker 2: about Alex is this, I think Alex is going to
- 9:31Speaker 2: be a catch. She's fluent in Spanish watching the cooking
- 9:35Speaker 2: show Competitions.
- 9:37Speaker 3: No, she's fluent in French, not Spanish.
- 9:39Speaker 2: It sounds a lot like my wife. She watches The
- 9:43Speaker 2: Great British Bakeoff and is fluent in Italian. I love
- 9:48Speaker 2: the Alex group on a farm. And she's a pediatric
- 9:51Speaker 2: speech therapist. I only know a few speech therapists in
- 9:53Speaker 2: my life, but the ones I do know have an
- 9:56Speaker 2: amazing heart, patience, and care. So I'll say this about Alex.
- 10:01Speaker 2: We're off the hot start. I would be shocked if
- 10:03Speaker 2: Alex isn't around till at least a Final four.
- 10:07Speaker 3: Okay, So Alex stands out to me the most in
- 10:11Speaker 3: the preview for the season because he's on the piano
- 10:14Speaker 3: singing a song to her and he and she goes like, wow,
- 10:17Speaker 3: I'm not really used to guys writing music for me. Yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 3: she's shown a lot and her why is her face
- 10:23Speaker 3: look so familiar to me?
- 10:25Speaker 2: I don't know. She's pretty. Yeah. Ali Joe is the
- 10:28Speaker 2: next all right.
- 10:29Speaker 3: Ali Joe's an easy an easy judge by the picture.
- 10:33Speaker 3: But first off, thirty years old boxing trainer. She's from Jersey,
- 10:36Speaker 3: It's not surprising based on the picture. And she likes
- 10:40Speaker 3: the beach. She wishes she could go to Dubai one
- 10:43Speaker 3: day just to go shopping.
- 10:44Speaker 2: Yeah, Ali Helen. Honestly, I don't know Ali Joe. She
- 10:47Speaker 2: scares me just from the picture, like not in like whoa,
- 10:50Speaker 2: you're a scary way. She's a beautiful human and she
- 10:53Speaker 2: looks great shape. Yeah, and she looks very kind. But
- 10:56Speaker 2: if I read her bio, she's a boxing trainer from
- 10:58Speaker 2: New Jersey Like sounds like a movie setup, right, Like
- 11:01Speaker 2: there's a character in a movie where I'm from Jersey.
- 11:05Speaker 2: I'm a boxer, and I would be like, yeah, you
- 11:08Speaker 2: you intimidate me. Maybe it would be the better way
- 11:10Speaker 2: to say.
- 11:10Speaker 3: That her top choice is what says Jersey to me.
- 11:16Speaker 3: It also says it says like Terreesaj, she's got these beads,
- 11:23Speaker 3: you know from the way the Housewives.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Oh, I didn't know who. Yeah, I don't know who
- 11:26Speaker 2: that is, but you probably you know are now? Yeah,
- 11:28Speaker 2: I know her now and I get it. Ali Joe,
- 11:31Speaker 2: I think will be the one. If I'm guessing, because
- 11:35Speaker 2: she has a lot of confidence, will probably be the first.
- 11:39Speaker 2: He may I interrupt you for the third time? Person?
- 11:43Speaker 3: Really?
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what I get.
- 11:46Speaker 3: And doesn't she remind you of what's her name? Amber Theeson?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Tiffany Ambertheeson? Who I know you love?
- 11:53Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah, it really does. Wow, it's a good call. Huh.
- 11:57Speaker 2: All right. Next one is Alicia oh Licia.
- 12:01Speaker 3: She's a twenty nine year old interior designer from Tampa, Florida. However,
- 12:05Speaker 3: she won Miss California in twenty twenty. Continuing continuing with
- 12:11Speaker 3: the beauty queens in the cast.
- 12:14Speaker 2: That's a massive win. Like, there's a lot of people
- 12:17Speaker 2: in California.
- 12:18Speaker 3: Yeah, that's true. That is a little bit harder than
- 12:21Speaker 3: No Shade to Our Love Hannah Brown or Hannah g But.
- 12:25Speaker 2: Alabama, I mean, I mean that's a big state.
- 12:28Speaker 3: Yeah, a lot of girls who want to be pageant
- 12:32Speaker 3: Queen's there too, a.
- 12:33Speaker 2: Lot of electric votes in California. Well, I don't know
- 12:37Speaker 2: of a beauty queen honestly that hasn't gone a long
- 12:41Speaker 2: ways on a season.
- 12:43Speaker 3: That's so so true. We have Kaylin, Hannah and Hannah. Yeah,
- 12:47Speaker 3: those the ones that stand out to me. Marie miss Maryland. Yeah,
- 12:53Speaker 3: they go really far.
- 12:54Speaker 2: So my guess is she's a final four contestant too.
- 12:57Speaker 2: I mean that's not good. We're in three people in
- 12:59Speaker 2: and I say we have two final four contestants. This
- 13:03Speaker 2: Alicia uh is going to break Grant's heart. That's my guess.
- 13:07Speaker 3: All right, let's move on to Bailey. Bailey is a
- 13:10Speaker 3: twenty seven year old social media manager from Atlanta, Georgia.
- 13:14Speaker 3: She has a toy poodle and she's looking for a
- 13:17Speaker 3: guy who's funny, thoughtful, and family oriented who isn't Yeah,
- 13:23Speaker 3: thats gonna be like the three adjectives that nobody would
- 13:26Speaker 3: ever be like, Nah would rather not someone funny, thoughtful,
- 13:29Speaker 3: and family oriented.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's a little basic, right, And it's
- 13:33Speaker 2: also a little concerning to me, right if that's well,
- 13:36Speaker 2: if that's why like her statement. So you are obviously
- 13:40Speaker 2: married with two kids, and you like, if you were
- 13:44Speaker 2: looking and dating and you met Jared, You're like, I
- 13:48Speaker 2: just love Jared because he's funny, thoughtful, and family oriented.
- 13:52Speaker 2: You'd be like, well, that dude sounds like so boring,
- 13:55Speaker 2: Like he has nothing like you, there's nothing uniquely different
- 13:58Speaker 2: about him. I hope most people who are looking to
- 14:01Speaker 2: be a partner forever would have those three things about them,
- 14:04Speaker 2: or at least something associated with it. And so I'm
- 14:08Speaker 2: just a little concerned that Bailey, based on how little
- 14:12Speaker 2: they put into her bio, comes and goes very quickly.
- 14:17Speaker 2: Plus she has a toy poodle and no judgment towards poodles.
- 14:20Speaker 2: I know a couple of poodles that are decent. Anytime
- 14:24Speaker 2: I see toy poodle, I don't know why. It could
- 14:26Speaker 2: just be form my upbringing. I get a little concerned.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Then this is gonna be Ben's like, you know, most
- 14:34Speaker 3: classic on the surface judgment of somebody thus far, Okay, Bailey,
- 14:39Speaker 3: We're sorry. You're totally fine, and everybody should go on
- 14:42Speaker 3: somebody thoughtful, funny and family oriented, not like on the wrong.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Path, just maybe like think about it a little harder.
- 14:58Speaker 3: Beverly is a thir year old insurance saleswoman from Howard Beach,
- 15:05Speaker 3: New York. Her parents been married for over thirty years,
- 15:08Speaker 3: and she wants to have a love story like. There's
- 15:12Speaker 3: also big fan of Titanic in the Princess Diaries. So Beverly,
- 15:16Speaker 3: let's chat.
- 15:17Speaker 2: I think Beverly's a star. I do. I think Beverly
- 15:21Speaker 2: will be one we talk about for months to come
- 15:25Speaker 2: after the show. I don't know if she's necessarily for grant,
- 15:29Speaker 2: I don't know enough about that yet, but I think
- 15:32Speaker 2: Beverly is going to fall into that America's sweetheart category.
- 15:37Speaker 2: Mostly mostly I say that because she mentions. I just
- 15:43Speaker 2: really have this thing when people on the going on
- 15:45Speaker 2: the show and they mention their parents' marriage, it just
- 15:49Speaker 2: it's not like a foreblown ConL foreblown is no foregone
- 15:55Speaker 2: conclusion that they know what it looks like to be
- 15:59Speaker 2: in relationship. But I know this, they know what they
- 16:03Speaker 2: want in a relationship, and I think that's a huge
- 16:05Speaker 2: start when you come on the show.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Mm hmm. I agree. Carolina is next, and she has
- 16:11Speaker 3: princess vibes written all over her love her dress. She's
- 16:16Speaker 3: a twenty eight year old public relations producer from Puerto Rico.
- 16:21Speaker 3: She speaks English, Spanish, French, and oh my god, Carolina,
- 16:28Speaker 3: let's really talk her childhood crushes Jojonas. Who is your
- 16:32Speaker 3: adult crush, Joe Jonas?
- 16:35Speaker 2: Joe Jonas? Is it still Joe Jonas for you?
- 16:37Speaker 3: Yes?
- 16:38Speaker 2: Oh goodness. I love that She wants to get roasted.
- 16:41Speaker 2: So she says the end that her dream is that
- 16:43Speaker 2: Nicki Glazer would roast her.
- 16:46Speaker 3: At the Golden Globes, which interesting because Nicki Glazer just
- 16:49Speaker 3: did her first Golden Globes, so, like, did she foresee
- 16:51Speaker 3: the future when she filled this out.
- 16:53Speaker 2: It was announced a while back that nick is going
- 16:55Speaker 2: to be the ghost. What I appreciate about that is
- 16:59Speaker 2: I think she's going to be very strong. Now, strong
- 17:02Speaker 2: is an amazing quality. She's from Puerto Rico. She's got
- 17:08Speaker 2: that going. She's staring deeply into the camera in this picture. Yeah,
- 17:12Speaker 2: Like it looks like she's looking through your soul. Yeah,
- 17:15Speaker 2: And if she's okay getting roasted. I have a feeling
- 17:19Speaker 2: that she has lead characteristics, like I maybe don't love
- 17:24Speaker 2: the whole, like being around everybody all the time and
- 17:27Speaker 2: sharing this dude with everybody. But you give me the
- 17:31Speaker 2: lead and I will make I will make magic happen.
- 17:35Speaker 2: So my first thought with her is she has leadership
- 17:39Speaker 2: qualities just from seeing the picture, seeing her bio and
- 17:43Speaker 2: knowing that she's okay. If Nicki Glazer would just roast
- 17:46Speaker 2: her on stage.
- 17:48Speaker 3: I would love if she's like eliminated night one and
- 17:50Speaker 3: we're totally wrong on that. Yeah, No, not really, I
- 17:53Speaker 3: actually want her to be around okay. Kloe is next.
- 17:57Speaker 3: She's a model twenty seven from New York, New York.
- 18:01Speaker 3: She grew up in the Midwest but decided to move
- 18:04Speaker 3: to New York to become a model. She loves You've
- 18:08Speaker 3: Got Mail and when Harry met Sally and she likes
- 18:10Speaker 3: to watch them. We'll sitting on a dirty martini. I
- 18:12Speaker 3: also could get along with Chloe.
- 18:15Speaker 2: Yeah, Chloe seems great because I love a good dirty martini. Chloe,
- 18:19Speaker 2: Chloe's gonna have a hard time on the show. Why
- 18:23Speaker 2: because it's like a two shot minimum and nobody wants
- 18:27Speaker 2: it like a.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Two shot per hour, Ben, So.
- 18:30Speaker 2: You could drink a martini an hour, I guess, or.
- 18:32Speaker 3: Like, yeah, I'm pretty sure you're done, so.
- 18:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that'd be good. Yeah, I guess that makes.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Sense too after probably honestly an hour, but definitely two.
- 18:41Speaker 2: Yeah, she'll be fine. She's got a Midwest like the
- 18:44Speaker 2: midwesterners do great on the show. We don't have a
- 18:46Speaker 2: lot of them anymore. We just have a select few
- 18:48Speaker 2: every season. But if you have a Midwest background and
- 18:51Speaker 2: you come onto The Bachelor, I just feel like there's
- 18:54Speaker 2: a different mentality you take coming into it. But I
- 18:59Speaker 2: could Chloe not relating with a lot of the women
- 19:04Speaker 2: because of her Midwest background, which could be a little isolating. Well,
- 19:08Speaker 2: if the watch is that as that continues, but that's
- 19:10Speaker 2: my first thought is it could be a little isolating
- 19:12Speaker 2: because there could be some drama going on and Chloe's like,
- 19:14Speaker 2: I don't get it, I don't understand. I'm just gonna
- 19:17Speaker 2: sit my martini, my shot and a half martini. I'm
- 19:19Speaker 2: gonna sip a shot, a cold shot. That's pretty much.
- 19:22Speaker 3: She's gonna take a shot. She doesn't even want like
- 19:24Speaker 3: any water getting in her way or whatever. The not water.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Christina is next.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I just said that there was a martini had water
- 19:33Speaker 3: in it. Guys. I you know what, I'm not very
- 19:37Speaker 3: much of a bartender, okay. Christina twenty six year old
- 19:42Speaker 3: marketing director from Fargo, North Dakota. She's a daredevil. She
- 19:47Speaker 3: wants to jump out of an airplane. She'll do a
- 19:49Speaker 3: bungee jump date, and when she's in the mood for
- 19:52Speaker 3: something less intense, she would like to go on the
- 19:54Speaker 3: lake or plan a wine night with friends.
- 19:58Speaker 2: So far as all these women, like even the one
- 20:01Speaker 2: I was most critical of Bailey just because she's had,
- 20:06Speaker 2: you know, three characteristics about a future partner that were
- 20:08Speaker 2: not wrong, they just were not like, very insightful. It
- 20:13Speaker 2: feels like we got a good group. Ashley.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Well, they're also giving us smaller bios, so you know,
- 20:20Speaker 3: they're really just giving us the good stuff in one sentence.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I understand that. I do understand that. I just I
- 20:26Speaker 2: think usually we can tell from the pictures and the
- 20:30Speaker 2: bios even if we just get a sentence, even if
- 20:32Speaker 2: we didn't have a bio, we'd be like, WHOA, what's
- 20:34Speaker 2: happening here? So far? We're you know, seven people in
- 20:39Speaker 2: and I'm like, ah, this is a good group. This,
- 20:42Speaker 2: this is gonna be fun to watch.
- 20:43Speaker 3: He is a good group.
- 20:46Speaker 2: I like her. She's a girl's girl. She's gonna have
- 20:49Speaker 2: a lot of friends in the house. She's going to
- 20:51Speaker 2: be I see her like a Hannah g type right
- 20:56Speaker 2: where she is not main care character, but we know
- 21:01Speaker 2: of her. She's around a long time and she comes
- 21:04Speaker 2: off of the show and just people like her. There's
- 21:06Speaker 2: not like a there's not an issue. Also, I think
- 21:10Speaker 2: she thrives on group dates, which will be to her
- 21:12Speaker 2: detriment at some point because she's going to give it
- 21:15Speaker 2: her all. She's not going to be scared of any
- 21:18Speaker 2: group dates. I also don't want to mention that this
- 21:22Speaker 2: is a good survival tactic to say that you love
- 21:25Speaker 2: the bungee jump and jump out of planes and snakes
- 21:28Speaker 2: and spiders, because then the show will never do it.
- 21:30Speaker 3: To you exactly. She looks like Kirsen Duns. This is
- 21:35Speaker 3: my This is my forte is celebrity comparisons for the girls.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Kirsten Duns. That's a good one.
- 21:43Speaker 3: Dina She is a thirty one year old attorney from Chicago.
- 21:47Speaker 3: She is one of eleven siblings, and she describes herself
- 21:52Speaker 3: as mysterious. You know, she doesn't look mysterious to me.
- 21:57Speaker 3: She looks like I'm going I'm going to judge her.
- 22:00Speaker 3: She looks like a stir and you know it.
- 22:03Speaker 2: Yeah, she does like some there could be some drama
- 22:06Speaker 2: behind the scenes here, and she's obviously smart. She's an attorney,
- 22:09Speaker 2: so she can she'll know how to manipulate, use her word,
- 22:13Speaker 2: use her words. Well, I don't love Ashley quite honestly.
- 22:19Speaker 2: The combination of attorney and mysterious. I feel like that's
- 22:24Speaker 2: a bad combination. I don't know how that.
- 22:28Speaker 3: Kelly Flann again like, but hell, Kelly Flann again went well.
- 22:31Speaker 2: It did go well for Kelly.
- 22:32Speaker 3: Fan She was absolutely mysterious as an attorney.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah, still is you though, I do want to make
- 22:39Speaker 2: this correlation. You have, you know, a sibling. I have none,
- 22:45Speaker 2: eleven siblings. Don't you think you would find yourself mysterious
- 22:48Speaker 2: if you had eleven siblings, just because you have to
- 22:51Speaker 2: kind of operate within your own, you know, head all
- 22:55Speaker 2: the time, because there's just no way that anybody's really
- 22:59Speaker 2: ever going to get to know you that well.
- 23:02Speaker 3: Your parents are never going to get to know you
- 23:04Speaker 3: that well. Yeah, well we'd have to ask Nick.
- 23:07Speaker 2: That's a good point. Yeah, Nick has done that, and Nick,
- 23:09Speaker 2: I would say, and Nick is mysterious, very mysterious.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Okay, next step, we have Ella. She's a twenty five
- 23:18Speaker 3: year old luxury travel host. Luxury travel host. Do you
- 23:23Speaker 3: think she just owns an Airbnb?
- 23:26Speaker 2: I mean, that would be an amazing way to say.
- 23:28Speaker 2: I would actually have so much respect for her if
- 23:32Speaker 2: she owns it like an Airbnb and calls herself a
- 23:34Speaker 2: luxury travel host, it would be awesome. And honestly, I
- 23:37Speaker 2: know I've I've mentioned this before, h And I think
- 23:40Speaker 2: Grant has probably mean he's came out with some of
- 23:43Speaker 2: his philosophies and theories, and you know, they make sense.
- 23:46Speaker 2: But Grant is a day trader, so they've both probably
- 23:51Speaker 2: inflated what they've done day to day. And I respect it.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Why not, You're you're on national television. You know, let's go.
- 23:59Speaker 3: Hm. Well, she also is saying that she loves to
- 24:02Speaker 3: have family and friends over to eat and watch basketball.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Do you think that she said this on purpose because
- 24:07Speaker 3: Grant is a former European basketball player.
- 24:10Speaker 2: Yeah. I think she's really smart. I think she knows
- 24:13Speaker 2: exactly what she's doing, which scares me for her on
- 24:16Speaker 2: this show, because even if you think you know how
- 24:18Speaker 2: to conquer the show, the show will come back and
- 24:21Speaker 2: conquer you. It's just like a thing that always happens.
- 24:24Speaker 3: They'll watch basketball on a day and she won't know
- 24:26Speaker 3: what she's talking about.
- 24:27Speaker 2: And it will just crush her. Like They'll be like, well,
- 24:29Speaker 2: you know, she'll be like, I love basketball. They go
- 24:31Speaker 2: and watch it and she's like, that's a good touchdown.
- 24:34Speaker 2: And if you like.
- 24:36Speaker 3: Basketball is like the simplest sports that you can't really
- 24:39Speaker 3: mess it up. No, Okay. Janay is a twenty eight
- 24:42Speaker 3: year old account coordinator from Colorado Springs, Think Colorado. They
- 24:49Speaker 3: have both played professional basketball over seas, so she does
- 24:55Speaker 3: basketball like he knows basketball. This is a different girl.
- 24:59Speaker 3: Now she is going to be like, you know, what's
- 25:01Speaker 3: her name? Ella is gonna be like, hey, I love basketball,
- 25:04Speaker 3: And then Jane's gonna be like, hey, guess what I
- 25:06Speaker 3: played like alongside him overseas?
- 25:08Speaker 2: Yeah, I was in the same area. We can relate
- 25:11Speaker 2: on that. I think she's gonna be around a while.
- 25:14Speaker 2: They have a lot toe late on. They obviously have
- 25:16Speaker 2: this background. They can have fun together. I mean, I
- 25:20Speaker 2: don't know how often couples go and play pick up
- 25:22Speaker 2: with each other, but I do know couples to shoot
- 25:24Speaker 2: baskets together, which I imagine will be something about the entry
- 25:28Speaker 2: or intro package will be the two of them shooting
- 25:30Speaker 2: baskets on the mansion driveway, which has been done over
- 25:36Speaker 2: and over and over and over again.
- 25:39Speaker 3: Which is fine so many times. But you know, I
- 25:42Speaker 3: feel it. It's like a fun thing to do with
- 25:44Speaker 3: somebody your dating, or you know it's somebody you're married too.
- 25:47Speaker 3: Because Jared and I go hard. If we're at an
- 25:49Speaker 3: arcade and there's the dual basketball, we get so competitive.
- 25:54Speaker 2: Yeah good, it's so much fun.
- 25:56Speaker 3: It's also a great workout because you know, I must
- 26:00Speaker 3: continue to try to beat him, and I have beat
- 26:02Speaker 3: him a couple times, and wow, it's actually not an oak.
- 26:06Speaker 3: It's really not good for us for me have a winner.
- 26:09Speaker 3: I'm a good winner. What do you mean you think
- 26:11Speaker 3: that I'm like shove it in his face. Yes, no,
- 26:14Speaker 3: he doesn't take like being athletically put down well because
- 26:21Speaker 3: like athletics is his thing.
- 26:23Speaker 2: Yeah, he's an athlete. Juliana is the next contestant that
- 26:37Speaker 2: we have. Juliana is a client service associate yep.
- 26:41Speaker 3: She's twenty eight from Newton, Massachusetts. She was raised in
- 26:44Speaker 3: a big Italian family. She's looking for a relationship like
- 26:48Speaker 3: her parents, who are high school sweethearts. She likes listening
- 26:51Speaker 3: to Frank Sinatra and dreams of opening a dog friendly bar.
- 26:56Speaker 3: That's a cute idea.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it is a cute idea from Newton, Massachusetts, Italian family.
- 27:02Speaker 2: That's a great quality to have. It's loving fears. I
- 27:07Speaker 2: think she's gonna do very well in the house because
- 27:09Speaker 2: chaos is something she's very comfortable with if you grew
- 27:14Speaker 2: up in a big Italian family. She does have a
- 27:16Speaker 2: tattoo on her hand that you can see. I wonder
- 27:18Speaker 2: what it says. I can't really spell it out because
- 27:21Speaker 2: it's one of those thin, small tattoos, but obviously if
- 27:24Speaker 2: you put on the top of your hand it's something
- 27:26Speaker 2: important to you.
- 27:27Speaker 3: It looks like it says only love. But I also
- 27:31Speaker 3: can't read it well.
- 27:32Speaker 2: I mean, what a better phrase than for the Bachelor.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Maybe she got it for the show. So one date,
- 27:37Speaker 2: Grant looks down. He's like, what is your tattoo saying?
- 27:39Speaker 2: She says only love? And he's like, wow, you want
- 27:42Speaker 2: love too? I want love? Let's get married.
- 27:48Speaker 3: Kelsey is a twenty six year old interior designer in Brooklyn,
- 27:52Speaker 3: New York. Hey Ben, no shade to Kelsey or anyone
- 27:57Speaker 3: saying interior designer. But do you think it's like one
- 27:58Speaker 3: of those occupations they give them if they don't really
- 28:02Speaker 3: have an occupation, which, like, seriously, it's okay. I was
- 28:05Speaker 3: like that person, I said, freelance journalists, because I was
- 28:08Speaker 3: really a you know, a broadcast journalist, recent graduate who
- 28:13Speaker 3: didn't really have a job, just an internship when I
- 28:16Speaker 3: signed up. So you know, and this, this seems to
- 28:20Speaker 3: be one that's popular these days. Interior designer, aka I
- 28:23Speaker 3: make my apartment look cute.
- 28:25Speaker 2: Which is such a good quality to have, right, I mean, goodness,
- 28:28Speaker 2: a nice. I wish they would give it a little
- 28:31Speaker 2: more detail like some of these. Again I mentioned it
- 28:34Speaker 2: with the account executive. What the heck is an account executive? Yeah,
- 28:37Speaker 2: but I want to know, like, are you working in
- 28:39Speaker 2: finance or are you an account because being an account
- 28:42Speaker 2: executive or an in tier designer, I don't know if
- 28:44Speaker 2: you're doing residential commercial. I want to know, like if
- 28:47Speaker 2: you're doing restaurants, because there's a whole vast array of
- 28:52Speaker 2: things you could do, which maybe the hope is during
- 28:56Speaker 2: the season grant Will asked some those questions. Okay, you're
- 28:58Speaker 2: an in tier designer, what exactly do you interior design?
- 29:02Speaker 2: Because yes, this is a legitimate and amazing job if
- 29:08Speaker 2: you're actually doing it, but we don't know right now
- 29:10Speaker 2: just from I mean, I wish now if I went
- 29:13Speaker 2: back in time, I don't know what my job would
- 29:16Speaker 2: have been, but it would have been something incredibly sophisticated
- 29:20Speaker 2: and overarching and not a lie.
- 29:23Speaker 3: Yours was a little bit of a exaggeration, right because
- 29:28Speaker 3: it said software salesman, and really you were writing pamphlets. Yeah,
- 29:32Speaker 3: well a software company.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, But yeah, the show because the show spoke it
- 29:37Speaker 2: into existence for me, because as soon as I got
- 29:39Speaker 2: the show, they moved me into sales.
- 29:42Speaker 3: Well, of course you give you sales and those charming
- 29:44Speaker 3: person ever.
- 29:45Speaker 2: But yeah, when I was on the show, I was
- 29:48Speaker 2: a user manual writer. So that would have been a
- 29:50Speaker 2: wild job.
- 29:51Speaker 3: Like software user manual writer.
- 29:55Speaker 2: I would die.
- 29:57Speaker 3: Can you imagine on those dates being like as wonderful
- 30:01Speaker 3: as he was and like such a leading man character
- 30:05Speaker 3: and then like that as your lower third.
- 30:09Speaker 2: Amazing would that have been to like have somebody else
- 30:11Speaker 2: break down art my like this season I was on
- 30:14Speaker 2: the cast and they're like, he's a user manual writer.
- 30:16Speaker 2: This dude sucks.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, I love it all right, Bollso Kelsey,
- 30:23Speaker 3: she likes a vacationing in Martha's vineyards. So whatever she's decorating,
- 30:28Speaker 3: she's doing well.
- 30:29Speaker 2: At Yeah, she's fine. We have Kylie retail manager in Wilmington,
- 30:34Speaker 2: North Carolina.
- 30:36Speaker 3: Okay, so she is twenty six and she has a
- 30:40Speaker 3: golden doodle. How do you feel about that?
- 30:43Speaker 2: It's a safe option if you you know, if you
- 30:45Speaker 2: want a dog that you know is going to be
- 30:47Speaker 2: high energy but decently well behaved and not shed and
- 30:51Speaker 2: not shed, get a golden doodle. I get it. I
- 30:53Speaker 2: Mean it's a very but it's like a very easy
- 30:56Speaker 2: option today.
- 30:57Speaker 3: Yeah. Her favorite movie is Pearl Harbor. So let's talk.
- 31:02Speaker 3: Let's have like a girl's movie night with these with
- 31:05Speaker 3: these women, because oh my goodness, gracious, we have a
- 31:08Speaker 3: lot of the same movies in our top echelon.
- 31:12Speaker 2: You would have loved to be on this season.
- 31:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 31:15Speaker 2: Something that stands out to me about Kylie she lived
- 31:17Speaker 2: in Uganda for four months. I want to know one
- 31:19Speaker 2: why and to what she learned from that experience anybody.
- 31:23Speaker 2: She's twenty six years old, so she did this at
- 31:26Speaker 2: a relatively young age. I want to know more about that,
- 31:32Speaker 2: because I think it's gonna make her make a lot
- 31:33Speaker 2: more sense to all of us, if you know, for
- 31:38Speaker 2: whatever reason, she moved over there. So we respect anybody
- 31:41Speaker 2: that lives overseas or away from the US for a
- 31:44Speaker 2: period of time in their life. Uganda is an interesting choice.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I love Uganda, but you do You just don't hear
- 31:51Speaker 2: a lot of people saying, yes, I'm moving to Uganda, Litz.
- 31:54Speaker 3: I'm gott your help on this one. Lydia, Lydia, Lydia.
- 31:58Speaker 3: She is a thirty one year old venture capitalist from
- 32:01Speaker 3: Salt Lake City.
- 32:03Speaker 2: Now now we're talking. Now we're talking about a job title.
- 32:06Speaker 3: Okay, so venture capitalist is definitely different than what he
- 32:11Speaker 3: does in day trading, right Ben?
- 32:13Speaker 2: Oh? Yes? Like okay, not even the same. I mean,
- 32:16Speaker 2: I mean, I guess the same, like umbrella, but not
- 32:19Speaker 2: even closely.
- 32:20Speaker 3: Do you think you think they'll bond over this stuff? Finances?
- 32:24Speaker 2: I don't know Grant's ability to speak money. Yeah, yeah,
- 32:29Speaker 2: we didn't hear a lot about it on last season.
- 32:32Speaker 2: But I'm guessing he has enough of the foundational like
- 32:34Speaker 2: wording and understanding to be able to relate with her
- 32:38Speaker 2: a little bit. Here'd be my concern he gets a
- 32:42Speaker 2: little over his skis because being a venture capitalist, I
- 32:46Speaker 2: don't know she has her series seven like, I don't
- 32:48Speaker 2: know if she actually is educated and qualified for this
- 32:50Speaker 2: position or what role she has within her VC. However,
- 32:55Speaker 2: I would imagine that her understanding of capital mark It's
- 33:00Speaker 2: might be a little more than his, and so he
- 33:03Speaker 2: should just probably try to learn a little bit first.
- 33:05Speaker 2: But I'm guessing he has the foundational ideas to be
- 33:08Speaker 2: able to relate with her.
- 33:09Speaker 3: Ben the way that they have this photo of her,
- 33:12Speaker 3: she's basically at a desk and she's letting her arm
- 33:16Speaker 3: down and then she has her one arm up on
- 33:18Speaker 3: her chin. It looks more like a headshot for a
- 33:23Speaker 3: financial advisor website.
- 33:25Speaker 2: The producers are like, hey, you're smart. Let me take
- 33:28Speaker 2: a picture that makes you look smart. I think she's
- 33:31Speaker 2: I actually like, right as of right now, I think
- 33:33Speaker 2: she's the winner. Really yeah, I mean I think we're
- 33:36Speaker 2: gonna they're gonna have enough to relate with. She says
- 33:38Speaker 2: the same age close in age fanom basketball, like obviously athletic,
- 33:43Speaker 2: because she doesn't just mention that she likes watching basketball
- 33:46Speaker 2: and football. She also says water polo, So like you're
- 33:49Speaker 2: not lying about liking watching or like participating in water polo.
- 33:54Speaker 2: That would be a random draw. And so I have
- 33:56Speaker 2: a feeling that she if I had to vote right now,
- 34:02Speaker 2: she'd be my winner, Like she's the one at the end,
- 34:04Speaker 2: has the most to relate with him on they like
- 34:06Speaker 2: each other, and I mean, goodness, what a gorgeous couple
- 34:10Speaker 2: they would be.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Okay, so Ben that Ben picks Lydia as his top choice.
- 34:16Speaker 3: I will still be thinking about this as we continue,
- 34:18Speaker 3: speaking of going from a confidence post to a very
- 34:23Speaker 3: uncomfortable looking post. Natalie, I mean lean in her stool,
- 34:29Speaker 3: like why would they do this, trying to hold her
- 34:31Speaker 3: upper body up. It's she's a twelve. She's a twenty
- 34:35Speaker 3: five year old pH d student from Louisville, Kentucky. Her
- 34:40Speaker 3: parents married over thirty years. Wants a relationship like theirs.
- 34:44Speaker 3: She enjoys watching rom coms and cheering on her football team,
- 34:48Speaker 3: the Seattle Seahawks.
- 34:49Speaker 2: I mean, I can't even like accurately judge Natalie because
- 34:55Speaker 2: I can't get past the fact that they put her
- 34:57Speaker 2: in this position for this photo. Again, if we look
- 34:59Speaker 2: up up at any of these other photos, we're like,
- 35:02Speaker 2: all right, this makes sense. Is a good power position.
- 35:06Speaker 2: They're standing up, they're cropping it. Well, they have her
- 35:08Speaker 2: at a desk. Then they're like, hey, Natalie, sit there
- 35:11Speaker 2: and take a picture where your hands are doing something
- 35:14Speaker 2: they've never done before. As you've sat on the desk
- 35:17Speaker 2: and it looks like you're sliding out of your chair
- 35:20Speaker 2: and that you're trying to like smile and hold your
- 35:23Speaker 2: whole core together just to keep.
- 35:24Speaker 3: Your sl scord. This is an ab workout. It's basically, guys,
- 35:28Speaker 3: for those of you who it looking, it looks as
- 35:31Speaker 3: if she should be sitting with like a large armchair,
- 35:35Speaker 3: nice tall back, and she's on a stool. Poor girl.
- 35:39Speaker 3: We'll learn more about her.
- 35:40Speaker 2: I think she's probably a sweet girl who's probably like
- 35:44Speaker 2: she's I think she's a little awkward.
- 35:46Speaker 3: It's not winning. Well, they wouldn't choose this picture for
- 35:49Speaker 3: a while now.
- 35:50Speaker 2: But I think she's gonna be like that funny, like
- 35:51Speaker 2: she'll make us laugh because she's consistently saying interesting things
- 35:57Speaker 2: that make us all giggle. But we're all thinking she's.
- 35:59Speaker 3: A good narrator. Yeah, they keep her around for being Yah,
- 36:02Speaker 3: that's a good way to put it, Okay. Nissi is
- 36:06Speaker 3: a thirty two year old pediatrician.
- 36:08Speaker 2: Wow, why is this cast so smart?
- 36:10Speaker 3: Some good ones in here. Blithewood, South Carolina. She splits
- 36:15Speaker 3: her time between four different hospitals, and when she isn't working,
- 36:18Speaker 3: she likes to try different coffees.
- 36:20Speaker 2: Yeah, generous coffee is your favorite. I heard.
- 36:25Speaker 3: I like that. That's a cool little hobby trying new coffees.
- 36:28Speaker 2: Why not I like it? I mean I'm in coffeelement
- 36:32Speaker 2: right there.
- 36:33Speaker 3: Yeah, Paricia, I hope I'm saying your name right? She
- 36:37Speaker 3: is a Okay, how is it?
- 36:39Speaker 2: I don't know, but you're just not I know you're
- 36:41Speaker 2: not right.
- 36:42Speaker 3: It's Paris. Uh, that's how it's spelled, guys. Paris a
- 36:46Speaker 3: twenty nine years old a pediatric behavioral analyst from Birmingham, Michigan.
- 36:52Speaker 3: A pediatric analyst. I, well, you know, i'm a little
- 37:00Speaker 3: nasally today.
- 37:01Speaker 2: I just want to know what an analyst is that.
- 37:03Speaker 2: It sounds like an analyst. She's an interesting job.
- 37:09Speaker 3: Pediatric behavior though. I mean, that's that's a hard job.
- 37:12Speaker 3: That's something I wonder if she works at like elementary
- 37:14Speaker 3: schools or she works at you know, more of like
- 37:17Speaker 3: a hospital setting. Anyway, she has a rock collection, and well,
- 37:21Speaker 3: like many of us, can spend hours growing TikTok.
- 37:25Speaker 2: Yeah, not for long. Isn't it like, isn't TikTok going
- 37:28Speaker 2: away or something?
- 37:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like we got like a week left of TikTok.
- 37:31Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 37:32Speaker 3: I don't think it's gonna go. I think we're gonna
- 37:33Speaker 3: I think tiktoks could go to survive. Okay, Well, the
- 37:36Speaker 3: I don't know much about this situation.
- 37:38Speaker 2: But have you been watching the show on Apple called Shrinking?
- 37:44Speaker 3: What is it about?
- 37:45Speaker 1: No?
- 37:45Speaker 3: I haven't.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Okay, so Shrinking is Jess and I have been watching it.
- 37:49Speaker 2: One of the ladies, and one of my favorite characters,
- 37:51Speaker 2: has a rock collection and she does it mostly for
- 37:54Speaker 2: her mental sanity. But she gets really like sad and
- 37:59Speaker 2: downtrodden as she looks at her rock collection. I don't
- 38:01Speaker 2: know why necessarily, other than it's just a very like
- 38:04Speaker 2: therapeutic experience. So when I see that she has a
- 38:08Speaker 2: rock collection, I say, it makes sense because this girl
- 38:13Speaker 2: has an incredible amount of empathy and she spends her
- 38:16Speaker 2: whole day helping make people better. And so I'm guessing
- 38:22Speaker 2: that she loves some time in silence and just a
- 38:25Speaker 2: distraction and a rock collection helps you ground you, Yeah,
- 38:29Speaker 2: to ground you.
- 38:30Speaker 3: It's grounding. Okay, Well we have to get We have
- 38:34Speaker 3: to hurry up because Benley has a few more minutes
- 38:36Speaker 3: here and we have a few more girls. Radhika is
- 38:40Speaker 3: a twenty eight year old attorney from New York City.
- 38:44Speaker 3: She's from a close knit Indian family and she wants
- 38:46Speaker 3: to share her family traditions with her future partner.
- 38:50Speaker 2: Yeah, I like everything about this. I think she's going
- 38:54Speaker 2: to be a really fun character this season. I can
- 38:58Speaker 2: see her being full of joy. I can see her
- 39:01Speaker 2: being kind of the mom in the house because she
- 39:03Speaker 2: likes to cook with her mom and all anytime there's
- 39:07Speaker 2: somebody that provides food within the mansion, everybody loves, everybody appreciates.
- 39:13Speaker 2: It's kind of a if you if you want to
- 39:15Speaker 2: tip on how to make friends, provide them food. And
- 39:19Speaker 2: if she knows how to cook and she's willing to
- 39:21Speaker 2: do it and she enjoys doing it, I think she's
- 39:23Speaker 2: going to be one of those characters this season that
- 39:27Speaker 2: comes on the podcast that we enjoy talking to that's
- 39:30Speaker 2: interesting and makes us laugh. I see her though top eight.
- 39:36Speaker 3: Okay, I don't see her going super far either, maybe
- 39:40Speaker 3: a little bit before then, But I find her just
- 39:43Speaker 3: And I'm not like really adding a lot of opinion
- 39:45Speaker 3: to this, but I do feel like through her eyes
- 39:47Speaker 3: I can vibe this, So I need to say. She
- 39:49Speaker 3: hasn't found herself in dramatic situations in her past. Something
- 39:53Speaker 3: about this, but something about this show is going to
- 39:56Speaker 3: bring out her desire to def others and sometimes that
- 40:01Speaker 3: might get her in trouble. This is what I can
- 40:04Speaker 3: tell by her face. Okay, Rebecca is Wow. Rebecca is
- 40:08Speaker 3: a superstar, Beyonce vibes, Beyonce energy. She's a thirty one
- 40:13Speaker 3: year old I see you nurse from Dallas, Texas. She
- 40:18Speaker 3: wants somebody who will travel the world with her and
- 40:22Speaker 3: enjoys animals and playing scrabble. Rebecca, you are more than
- 40:26Speaker 3: your bio. You have far more power than that.
- 40:30Speaker 2: All right. This picture is one that like stands out
- 40:32Speaker 2: to you, right, yeah, yeah, it's It's a picture that
- 40:36Speaker 2: can go one of two ways, Ashley for me, either,
- 40:39Speaker 2: she is a fierce and a force to be reckoned with.
- 40:42Speaker 2: On this season and she's there to the final four
- 40:46Speaker 2: or drama you know, surrounds it because it kind of
- 40:50Speaker 2: gives me the like, I'm staring into your soul vibe again,
- 40:54Speaker 2: and that always is one that for me, that picture
- 40:56Speaker 2: can go one of two ways, like I'm confident that
- 40:59Speaker 2: you can see into my soul and either you're going
- 41:01Speaker 2: to destroy Grant's soul or you're going to heal it
- 41:05Speaker 2: and mend it and help him find love. I don't
- 41:09Speaker 2: know yet, but I think she's going to be a
- 41:11Speaker 2: character we talk about all season. So watch out for Rebecca.
- 41:15Speaker 2: She's going to be one that we know m.
- 41:28Speaker 3: Rose's next. And she looks innocent, but she won't shut up.
- 41:35Speaker 3: I know these things about her. This is just now
- 41:37Speaker 3: I'm putting in my two cents based on appearance. She's
- 41:39Speaker 3: a twenty seven year old registered nurse from Chicago. She
- 41:44Speaker 3: is a self described terrible dancer, big fan of Julie
- 41:47Speaker 3: Andrews and Formula one Racing.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Love it, love it. She knows what she likes two
- 41:53Speaker 2: wildly opposite things, Formula one Racing and Julian Come on,
- 41:58Speaker 2: let's go.
- 42:00Speaker 3: I like that bio. It's but it's interesting.
- 42:02Speaker 2: Here's a comparison. This is like this I think will
- 42:05Speaker 2: make Rebecca make more sense. Rose does not have the
- 42:08Speaker 2: ability to steer into my soul, like she doesn't like
- 42:11Speaker 2: this picture is very innocent. It's very like, hey, I'm
- 42:14Speaker 2: just happy to be here kind of vibes, where Rebecca's like, no,
- 42:16Speaker 2: I belong here.
- 42:18Speaker 3: Yeah. But Rose like she's a little bit of a nuisance.
- 42:22Speaker 3: Can you see that? Can you see her like kind
- 42:25Speaker 3: of being like, oh, I know, I look like sweet,
- 42:27Speaker 3: but like like a good commentator. Commentator, No, not a commentator.
- 42:32Speaker 3: She's getting into things. She's like the sidekick character to
- 42:35Speaker 3: the villain.
- 42:36Speaker 2: Ooh, she's robbing.
- 42:39Speaker 3: What's wrong with me? Why is this pouring out?
- 42:41Speaker 2: I have no idea, it's I love it. I'm great.
- 42:43Speaker 2: I'm just gonna sit back. Sarah FINA's next Ashley another
- 42:47Speaker 2: baggy jean look.
- 42:49Speaker 3: She looks great in these bagga jeans. Love this look.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I don't even just it's like it's just a thing
- 42:54Speaker 2: that happened so fast. We went through that like.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Yoga pant like years beyond. This is like been happening
- 43:00Speaker 3: for two years.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Well that's about my timeline on fashion. It's two years behind.
- 43:07Speaker 3: So I just love a crop top with baggy pants.
- 43:10Speaker 3: That way it shows off my stomach, which is a
- 43:12Speaker 3: better part of my body than my legs, except for
- 43:15Speaker 3: maybe not after two children, but anyways. Twenty nine year
- 43:17Speaker 3: old associate media director from New York City. She loves
- 43:22Speaker 3: watching Gray's Anatomy. She loves dancing, spontaneity, and books out
- 43:29Speaker 3: books trips. Okay, she likes some books. She likes to
- 43:33Speaker 3: book trips on a whim. I thought she liked book trips, Yeah,
- 43:40Speaker 3: like book clubs.
- 43:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean that's cool too. Yeah, you know what,
- 43:46Speaker 2: you book trips on a whim when you're single or
- 43:48Speaker 2: you don't have kids, I'm assuming. And so when I
- 43:53Speaker 2: read this, I'm like, yeah, but that's going to have
- 43:55Speaker 2: to change. You and your partner are probably gonna have
- 43:58Speaker 2: jobs and responsibilities the increase, and obviously then you enter
- 44:01Speaker 2: your kids in this scenario, Like, how exciting would it
- 44:04Speaker 2: be for you actually to for Jared to and you
- 44:06Speaker 2: to wake up tomorrow morning and he's like, you know what,
- 44:08Speaker 2: let's book a trip for tomorrow. Like you would love that,
- 44:11Speaker 2: but it's just not an option anymore. And so I
- 44:14Speaker 2: say all this to say, when you're ready for a committed,
- 44:16Speaker 2: long term relationship. I think those things if they are
- 44:20Speaker 2: your favorite things to do right now, my hope is
- 44:24Speaker 2: that you can find something different or a due way
- 44:29Speaker 2: to compromise that as you do enter into relationship.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Mmm. Next up is Savannah. She's a twenty seven year
- 44:36Speaker 3: old wedding planner from Charlotte'sville, Virginia. She is ready to
- 44:41Speaker 3: these girls. I tell you, she's ready to turn the
- 44:45Speaker 3: plot of the wedding planner into reality. I want to, like,
- 44:50Speaker 3: I mean to have a hang with them. I love her.
- 44:52Speaker 2: She would feel so bad on this season Ashley.
- 44:55Speaker 3: Why because I just be can't make friends.
- 44:57Speaker 2: You'd make so many friends, and all you'd want to
- 44:59Speaker 2: do is talk to him movies And every time the
- 45:02Speaker 2: guy would come in, you would be like chatting about
- 45:05Speaker 2: some random movie or they talk about the day. When
- 45:06Speaker 2: he goes, hey, how is your Daniel? Like it was great,
- 45:08Speaker 2: we talked about the wedding planner. He's like, I could
- 45:09Speaker 2: care less, Like honestly, like that sounds awful.
- 45:13Speaker 3: She's so cute, But I don't think she's gonna go
- 45:15Speaker 3: that far.
- 45:17Speaker 2: Uh. The reason I think that is because she's talkative
- 45:21Speaker 2: is in her is in her bio. She's loyal, caring,
- 45:24Speaker 2: and talkative. Right, loyal, awesome, caring, amazing. If talkative is
- 45:30Speaker 2: in your bio, if that is one of the top
- 45:32Speaker 2: three qualities that you give yourself, it's probably not gonna
- 45:36Speaker 2: work on this show, mostly because you'll have very few
- 45:40Speaker 2: instances where you can actually talk to the lead and
- 45:44Speaker 2: you're gonna get really frustrated with that, which means you're
- 45:46Speaker 2: gonna be the one that's like, I need more time,
- 45:49Speaker 2: I need to interrupt, I need to talk to him more.
- 45:52Speaker 2: And unless you find that outlet in the women around you,
- 45:56Speaker 2: which is very rare and not always healthy, you're gonna
- 45:59Speaker 2: get frustrated. And I see Savannah getting very frustrated being
- 46:03Speaker 2: on the show.
- 46:04Speaker 3: What an analyst then?
- 46:07Speaker 2: What an analyst at?
- 46:10Speaker 3: Vicky very very pretty like her, She's she also feels
- 46:15Speaker 3: very comfortable on camera. Twenty eight year old nightclub server
- 46:19Speaker 3: from Vegas. She used to be an NFL cheerleader. She
- 46:24Speaker 3: still likes football, dreams of living on a vineyard in Italy.
- 46:30Speaker 2: Wow, that's nice. Who doesn't Again, that would be great,
- 46:36Speaker 2: right if that would work out. We've had other nightclub
- 46:40Speaker 2: servers from Vegas on the show before The Twins. The
- 46:43Speaker 2: Twins and they did great, big personalities, really fun to
- 46:46Speaker 2: be around, really nice to be around, obviously made a
- 46:51Speaker 2: name for themselves, and then found themselves married with kids.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Post show, Vicky, I'm guessing that your your lot too,
- 46:59Speaker 2: Like you're gonna do great. You're gonna be awesome here.
- 47:02Speaker 2: You're gonna be a character that we laugh watch and
- 47:04Speaker 2: enjoy and brings joy and hospitality those around you. However,
- 47:10Speaker 2: I don't know if Grant and the season will work out,
- 47:12Speaker 2: but I have a feeling that will come very soon after.
- 47:16Speaker 3: Whenever I see nightclub Server, I'm like stressed because they
- 47:19Speaker 3: have to work so late, Like why am I stressed
- 47:22Speaker 3: for her? Like her working hours like don't start till
- 47:26Speaker 3: ten pm.
- 47:27Speaker 2: Yeah. I went and visited the Twins once in Vegas,
- 47:29Speaker 2: and I remember they took us to the club that
- 47:31Speaker 2: they worked, and it like they're like, yeah, we'll get
- 47:34Speaker 2: there around like ten thirty or something to get like
- 47:38Speaker 2: dressed and started. And I was like that's insane, Like
- 47:41Speaker 2: I was planning on being back in my hotel room
- 47:43Speaker 2: by eleven, So this isn't working out.
- 47:47Speaker 3: Zoe is our last contestant. She's a twenty seven year
- 47:50Speaker 3: old tech engineer and model she is. She looks very
- 47:55Speaker 3: she's very pretty. I see her modeling. She's from New
- 47:58Speaker 3: York City, a lot of New York City girls this
- 48:00Speaker 3: time around. She was the first female wrestler to compete
- 48:05Speaker 3: on her high school team before attending Duke, where she
- 48:08Speaker 3: got her degree in mechanical engineering.
- 48:13Speaker 2: Son of a Biscuit. Some people have a don't they do?
- 48:17Speaker 2: Like you just look at her and you're like, oh yeah,
- 48:19Speaker 2: like you've got everything, Like what what what are your
- 48:22Speaker 2: insecurity Zoe? Like what what keeps you up at night
- 48:25Speaker 2: about yourself? Because right now, you're pretty, you're smart, you're athletic.
- 48:30Speaker 2: You'd know how to boat. I mean it doesn't I
- 48:33Speaker 2: guess say sailing, which would be really cool. I like
- 48:37Speaker 2: that she added eat tacos in there, like that's the
- 48:39Speaker 2: one thing, and I've all, yeah, like I can relate
- 48:42Speaker 2: with that, Like, oh yeah, I like to eat tacos too.
- 48:44Speaker 2: That sounds cool. Everything else I'm like, they just yeah,
- 48:49Speaker 2: she's another top four for me. So I think that
- 48:51Speaker 2: rounds out my top four. I don't remember everybody I said,
- 48:54Speaker 2: but I know I've now used my four top fours
- 48:58Speaker 2: when I've mentioned them throughout the show.
- 49:00Speaker 3: Okay, So now it's my turn. I do add Zoe
- 49:04Speaker 3: into my top four as well. I think that Alex,
- 49:07Speaker 3: our number one girl, is the winner. And I think
- 49:10Speaker 3: I'm just being swayed by her appearances in the preview,
- 49:16Speaker 3: but Alex Zoe, uhh, do I add Alisha?
- 49:23Speaker 2: I had Alicia in mine.
- 49:25Speaker 3: Alicia is tempting scrolling, scrolling, scrolling, Carolina. I would like
- 49:32Speaker 3: to add her. Let's add Carolina and then Janey the
- 49:40Speaker 3: basketball player.
- 49:42Speaker 2: I do think Rebecca will be I don't know if
- 49:45Speaker 2: there's a villain from this season, but I think Rebecca
- 49:48Speaker 2: is going to be the one in my vote that
- 49:52Speaker 2: is going to I just have to say that she
- 49:54Speaker 2: causes the the other women to get jealous. I think
- 49:59Speaker 2: she's first and pression rows okay, target on back and ultimately,
- 50:05Speaker 2: as we've seen in past seasons, it doesn't get handled well.
- 50:11Speaker 2: And she she stares at somebody like she's doing in
- 50:15Speaker 2: this photo, and it makes it frightens them and for
- 50:18Speaker 2: whatever reason, like she's bullying me and she's like I
- 50:20Speaker 2: didn't say a word, and they're like, yeah, but you
- 50:22Speaker 2: looked at me that way. And that's just how powerful
- 50:24Speaker 2: that gaze is.
- 50:25Speaker 3: Producer Hannah, can you write these down our predictions so
- 50:28Speaker 3: that we can follow along during the season and you
- 50:30Speaker 3: can remind us throughout being like you were wrong on that,
- 50:33Speaker 3: wrong on that. So my top four is Zoe Alex.
- 50:38Speaker 3: I'll just put Carolina in it. Carolina, Carolina, Carolina. It's
- 50:44Speaker 3: definitely Carolina. Why am I calling her Carolina? She's not
- 50:47Speaker 3: a state.
- 50:47Speaker 2: Spelled like him, but she's from.
- 50:52Speaker 3: Let's add in. Okay, this is so weird because we
- 50:57Speaker 3: didn't really talk about her a lot, but like there's
- 50:59Speaker 3: something about her that I'm crossing her picture and I'm like,
- 51:02Speaker 3: she needs to be worth noting. Nissi the Pediatrician m like, okay,
- 51:08Speaker 3: good pick, good pick. So all right, those are my
- 51:10Speaker 3: four and then my trouble maker is my troublemakers actually Rose.
- 51:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I figured you'd say that. That's really okay, Yeah,
- 51:19Speaker 2: that's fair. You have that vibe from the beginning this
- 51:22Speaker 2: is gonna be a great season. We don't always say
- 51:24Speaker 2: that after we kind of break down the cast. We've
- 51:26Speaker 2: said it in the past where we thought, hey, what
- 51:30Speaker 2: is who is this cast? Like do they not have
- 51:32Speaker 2: anything else to offer? I think we said about Jen's cast,
- 51:34Speaker 2: We're like, this doesn't feel like it's going to work,
- 51:37Speaker 2: and well it didn't.
- 51:41Speaker 3: But hey, she's Shasha now, and look, if it weren't
- 51:47Speaker 3: for her being the Bachelor atte, she wouldn't be with Sasha.
- 51:51Speaker 2: It works somehow, some ways, it doesn't work on this season.
- 51:54Speaker 2: I think this cast is gonna be fun to watch. Confident,
- 51:57Speaker 2: they're beautiful, we're gonna get emotion, and Grant I think
- 52:00Speaker 2: will be a great lead. I'm excited to watch this season.
- 52:04Speaker 2: I don't know anything about Grant yet, though, and that's
- 52:07Speaker 2: my problem still. I don't think he's going to be
- 52:09Speaker 2: a bad lead. I don't think he was a bad choice.
- 52:11Speaker 2: I think it is a weird thing they're doing when
- 52:14Speaker 2: it comes to how they're introducing us to these bachelors.
- 52:18Speaker 2: Have they not learned a lesson yet? Where if we
- 52:20Speaker 2: don't know the bachelor, it's really hard for us to
- 52:22Speaker 2: get into the season. And so my hope is instead
- 52:26Speaker 2: of just saying, oh, he's so good looking, he's so attractive,
- 52:30Speaker 2: because of course he is, we actually get to know
- 52:33Speaker 2: the guy a little bit before this season starts, and
- 52:35Speaker 2: so I'm still waiting for that because I don't feel
- 52:37Speaker 2: like I do yet.
- 52:38Speaker 3: You think that you're going to get to know him
- 52:40Speaker 3: before the.
- 52:40Speaker 2: Season starts, well, like maybe first episode. I'm saying, like,
- 52:43Speaker 2: before we actually get into the dating thing.
- 52:45Speaker 3: You remember Hallie used to do like bonus episodes like that,
- 52:48Speaker 3: like Meet the Bachelor or like Meet the Cast, and
- 52:51Speaker 3: there would be like a little like half an hour
- 52:52Speaker 3: or something. Am I making this up? I think they
- 52:54Speaker 3: used to do this, like back in the day when
- 52:56Speaker 3: the show used to be like super duper popular.
- 52:58Speaker 2: Do you disagree with me that? Like, I have nothing
- 53:00Speaker 2: against Grant.
- 53:01Speaker 3: Put on Hulu. Guys, you don't have to put it
- 53:02Speaker 3: on the real show, just like throw up like a
- 53:04Speaker 3: thirty minute thing about like Grant's life. I know you
- 53:07Speaker 3: have that footage from when you Need Packages.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Yes, I just don't know him yet, and so it's
- 53:11Speaker 2: hard for me to get into this right now. With Joey,
- 53:14Speaker 2: we knew I mean that was one of the reasons
- 53:16Speaker 2: that he had the most successful season in you know,
- 53:19Speaker 2: many years, was because we knew him going into it.
- 53:23Speaker 2: We saw his heartbreak, we saw his journey, we saw
- 53:25Speaker 2: who he was, we saw how excited he was to
- 53:27Speaker 2: find somebody, and so we went into the season and
