  What if the life you are building is not mostly shaped by

  the big moments everyone sees, but by the small responses?

  No one notices the way you handle correction, the way you
• 0:24
  respond when you're stressed, the way you treat people when
• 0:27
  you're tired, the choices you make when no one is checking on
• 0:30
  you. All of it matters.

  Proverbs chapter 15 verses 12 to 13 says, a scoffer does not like
• 0:38
  to be reproved. He will not go to the wise.
• 0:41
  A glad heart makes a cheerful face, but by sorrow of heart the
• 0:44
  spirit is crushed. Psalm chapter 50, verse 15 says,
• 0:49
  call to me in the day of trouble.
• 0:50
  I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.

  And 1st Corinthians chapter 3, verse 13 says each one's work

  will become manifest for the day, will disclose it because it
• 1:02
  will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of
• 1:06
  work each one is done. That is a serious thought, but
• 1:09
  it is also full of hope. God is not just watching what
• 1:13
  you build. He is helping you build what
• 1:15
  lasts. He calls you to be teachable,
• 1:17
  not because He wants to embarrass you, but because He
• 1:20
  wants you to grow. He calls you to joy not because
• 1:24
  life is always easy, but because your heart can be anchored in
• 1:28
  Him even when your circumstances feel heavy.

  Maybe today you are dealing with pressure at school, tension at
• 1:34
  home, drama with friends, uncertainty about your future,
• 1:38
  or private battles no one knows about.
• 1:41
  God does not ask you to pretend everything is fine.
• 1:44
  He says, call to me in the day of trouble.
• 1:47
  He invites you to bring Him the real struggle, the real fear,
• 1:50
  the real frustration. And as you do, He teaches you to
• 1:54
  build differently. Not on pride, not on impulse,
• 1:57
  not on temporary attention, but on humility, wisdom, joy, and
• 2:01
  faithfulness. Let's pray, Heavenly Father,
• 2:05
  help me guard my heart and build my life on what matters to You.
• 2:08
  Make me teachable when correction comes, joyful when
• 2:11
  life feels heavy, and faithful in the choices I make each day.
• 2:16
  When I am in trouble, remind me to call on You.
• 2:18
  Instead of carrying everything alone, build something lasting
• 2:21
  in me for your glory in Jesus name, Amen.

  itself will test what sort of work each man's work is.

  If any man's work remains which he built on it, he will receive

  a reward. If any man's work is burned, he

  will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved.

  But as through fire, don't you know that you are God's temple

  and that God's Spirit lives in you?

  If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him.

  For God's temple is holy, which you are.

  Let no one deceive himself. If anyone thinks that he is wise

  among you in this world, let him become a fool, that he may

  become wise. For the wisdom of this world is

  foolishness with God. For it is written, he has taken

  the wise in their craftiness. And again, the Lord knows the

  reasoning of the wise, that it is worthless.

  Therefore let no one boast in men, for all things are yours,

  whether Paul or Apollo's, or Cephas, or the world, or life,
• 8:26
  or death, or things present, or things to come, all are yours,
• 8:30
  and you are Christ S and Christ is God's.
