- 0:03It's six Eastern.
- 0:05Three o'clock Pacific from coast to coast and around the world.
- 0:08The Democratic brand right now has about the appeal with the American voter as the crackle barrel rebrand has from America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:18It's time for Truth Be Told with Booker Scott.
- 0:21President Donald Trump is in China to meet with Xi.
- 0:25Meanwhile, the negotiation in Iran is going nowhere.
- 0:28And there were some fireworks on Capitol Hill on Tuesday.
- 0:32I'm Booker.
- 0:33This is the Truth Be Told.
- 0:35Thank you so much for joining us tonight and every night, or if you found us later on a podcast, thank you very much for doing that.
- 0:42It's great to have you.
- 0:44Before I get into uh the meat of this first segment, uh I want to talk about gerrymandering real quick because there have been some developments with that.
- 0:52We know that Texas changed their maps, Florida did, Tennessee followed, Louisiana and Alabama are coming.
- 0:59The Supreme Court made a decision this week that Alabama could go forward with their gerrymandering attempt there in uh the Southern State.
- 1:08Now, to the east of there in South Carolina, they have decided on their own that they will not.
- 1:14South Carolina was another one of those states that said they were going to gerrymander to pick up another Republican seat, but they have now decided in their own assembly, General Assembly, that they will not do that.
- 1:26They're not going to take that vote.
- 1:27So it's unfortunate for Republicans there, but the Democrats get a little win out of South Carolina.
- 1:34That was one seat.
- 1:35In total, I believe the net is going to be somewhere between seven and ten Republican pickups from the gerrymander, but don't forget that it is a net because California, Illinois, those states had already gerrymandered uh in the last year, in between the census.
- 1:52Typically, this was done every ten years.
- 1:54Now they're uh go just going to do it depending on who has power in the State House.
- 1:59Another reason for you to get out and vote in primaries and in general elections, because the State House is very important, and you're seeing why when it comes to gerrymandering.
- 2:10Well, President Donald Trump is in China right now.
- 2:14He is meeting with President Zhi of China, and the meeting marks the first state visit to China since Donald Trump went in 2017, almost 10 years ago.
- 2:25And between China and America right now, there have been a lot of news stories.
- 2:30You have everything going on from the tariffs and the trade, all of that going on, and that's going to be a big subject here that Donald Trump is going to take on with Xi, as they both look to come to some sort of agreement on trade.
- 2:46By the way, the inflation report came out and it was high.
- 2:50It was 3.8%.
- 2:52And prior to the Iranian war, it had been at about 1.7%.
- 2:573.8 is high, and that is a result of the higher gas prices.
- 3:01When those prices go up, diesel goes up, everything that we buy in stores is going to have to go up because of that price increase.
- 3:10So we're starting to feel that.
- 3:12And that's another reason why Donald Trump has to figure out a way to end this Iranian war.
- 3:16We'll get to that here in a few minutes.
- 3:18But before we do, let's stay here in China and some things they're going to talk about.
- 3:22They're going to talk about Taiwan and whether China will reunify, as they call it.
- 3:28They say we're going to reunify with Taiwan.
- 3:31If you remember it was Xi that told that directly to President Joe Biden back in February of 2024, that we will reunify with Taiwan.
- 3:42And I really thought that it would have come already.
- 3:44I thought that they were going to attempt that back in 2021, 22, when Joe Biden first came into office.
- 3:51It didn't happen then, and now who knows whether that will happen.
- 3:56Taiwan is very important because of semiconductors that are needed for artificial intelligence and other technology in this 21st century arms race.
- 4:06Other things that X and Trump are going to discuss is America in this Iranian war.
- 4:13China and Iran have shared a close economic, strategic, diplomatic, and security relationship.
- 4:19And Secretary of State Marco Rubio told reporters last week that he hoped China would persuade Iran to ease up on the Strait of Hormuz.
- 4:28Quote, he said, quote, I hope the Chinese tell them what he needs to be told, Rubio said during a White House briefing, referring to Iranian foreign minister Arachi, quote, is that what you are doing in the strait is causing you to be globally isolated.
- 4:45You're the bad guy in this, unquote.
- 4:48China, the largest buyer of Iranian oil, they've been hit pretty hard because of the Strait of Horror moves being closed.
- 4:55America's not really affected.
- 4:56We have our own oil.
- 4:58China needs a lot of it.
- 5:00Trump also said in an Oval Office meeting on Monday that Iran told him that only the U.S.
- 5:06and China were capable of retrieving Iran's uranium.
- 5:10And that is the important part, the sticking part of all the negotiations going on in Iran.
- 5:16And that is being done by the mediator of that, which is the country of Pakistan.
- 5:21I mentioned some fireworks on Capitol Hill.
- 5:24South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham was there questioning Pete Heggseth and also General Raising Kane, Dan Kane, General Dan Cain on uh Tuesday.
- 5:35Here's a little bit of that.
- 5:37Pakistan.
- 5:38Uh are you aware of reports that Pakistan are allowing their bases to be used to park Iranian aircraft?
- 5:48Uh General Kane.
- 5:50Sir I've I've uh I've seen one report on that.
- 5:53Well, is it accurate?
- 5:55Um Sir, I think uh based on the variety of classification classification matters.
- 6:01Let me just say, do you agree if it is accurate?
- 6:03That is sort of inconsistent with it being a peace mediator.
- 6:06Sir, I wouldn't want to comment on that based on the ongoing negotiations and package.
- 6:11Based on the ongoing negotiations, which are gonna go nowhere, the hard lines in the sand here.
- 6:17The Iranians say we're never giving up our right, they call it a right to make nuclear weapons and enrich uranium.
- 6:24On the other hand, President Donald Trump says we're not gonna do anything until you get rid of all of that capability.
- 6:31We get your uranium.
- 6:33And it's no it's not gonna go anywhere.
- 6:35It doesn't really matter who mediates.
- 6:38And really Lindsey Graham is a war hawk.
- 6:40He is trying to uh he's trying to create the war again.
- 6:44He's trying to get Donald Trump to drop bombs on Iran.
- 6:48And really, Donald Trump is looking for a way out of this himself.
- 6:52As I mentioned, the inflation is up, gas prices are way up.
- 6:55None of that is gonna help a midterm, and it's not helping the American people.
- 6:59And I really believe that Donald Trump wants to try to end this.
- 7:00Believe that Donald Trump wants to try to end this.
- 7:04He wants it to end.
- 7:05He's just looking for a way to do that.
- 7:07Here's a little more from Senator Lindsey Graham, this time with Pete Hex.
- 7:11Secretary Hex.
- 7:12If if the mediator is allowing reconnaissance aircraft in Iran to be part in Pakistani air bases, do you think that's consistent with being a fair mediator?
- 7:12If if the mediator is allowing reconnaissance aircraft in Iran to be part in Pakistani air bases, do you think that's consistent with being a fair mediator?
- 7:24Um I again, I wouldn't want to get in the middle of these negotiations.
- 7:24Um I again, I wouldn't want to get in the middle of these negotiations.
- 7:28I want to do that.
- 7:28I want to do that.
- 7:28Well, I do.
- 7:29I do.
- 7:29I want to get in the middle of these negotiations.
- 7:31Of course he does.
- 7:32I don't trust Pakistan as far as I can throw them.
- 7:35You don't need to throw it.
- 7:44That tells me we should be looking maybe for somebody else to mediate.
- 7:48Okay, who would you suggest going to Lindsay Graham?
- 7:51Who would you suggest mediate for this peace deal that is going nowhere?
- 7:55Is Donald Trump going to have to start blowing them up and wiping them off the face of the earth as he said?
- 8:01Or is there some other way that America can get out of what is going on in Iran?
- 8:06What about Cash Patel?
- 8:07He's the director of the FBI.
- 8:08He was on Capitol Hill.
- 8:10He was facing questioning about his history of drinking.
- 8:14Of drinking.
- 8:15There was a story in the Atlantic, uh, I don't know, a month and a half ago about uh Kash Patel drinking too much, drinking on the job, falling asleep, people can't find him, and it was discredited pretty quickly.
- 8:28But Senator Van Holland of Maryland, he brought up that line of questioning.
- 8:32And just to remind you who this Senator is, he is the senator that had margaritas with uh the Maryland dad, Abrego Garcia, the Maryland dad that was deported, and then everybody in the country went nuts about Abrego Garcia.
- 8:48By the way, have you heard anything about him lately?
- 8:51And that's what the way politics works.
- 8:53You everybody gets blown up about something right now, and then you never hear about it again, and who knows what happened to the story, or if anything was actually resolved.
- 9:03Was there a solution to the problem?
- 9:05But here we go with uh Senator Van Holland of Maryland.
- 9:09Multiple reports, including reporting by the Atlantic have alleged episodes of excessive drinking.
- 9:16And by the way, this Atlantic report, as he says multiple reports, that just means that the one source for this story was the Atlantic.
- 9:25End of story, period.
- 9:26End of it.
- 9:27Now, other sources picked up the Atlantic story and reported what the Atlantic reported.
- 9:33There aren't multiple sources of this.
- 9:35It came from one piece, and that was a hit piece on In the Atlantic.
- 9:39Explained absences and behavior that concern current and former FBI and DOJ officials.
- 9:45You have publicly denied those allegations and filed a defamation lawsuit.
- 9:50So today as you testify before Congress, is it your testimony that those allegations are categorically false?
- 9:57Unequivocally categorically false.
- 9:59So there have been no occasions during your tenure when FBI personnel were unable to promptly reach you.
- 10:04Absolutely not.
- 10:05You can ask my entire workforce they hear from me at every single hour of the day, as do these great gentlemen here, as do the men and women of the interagency and state and local law enforcement in the White House.
- 10:15Now Van Holland is not going to stop because he is trying to set up a perjury case.
- 10:20If you listen to him ask these questions, he thinks he knows something about Patel that Patel is not going to agree to.
- 10:27So he thinks he's getting Patel to lie here.
- 10:29That's where this is going eventually.
- 10:31But you know, he's hoping that when the Democrats have control and power again, he can do a criminal referral for Cash Patel.
- 10:38But that's where this line of questioning is coming from.
- 10:41And so there have been no occasions when your security detail had difficulty waking or locating you.
- 10:45Is that right?
- 10:46Nope, it's a total farce.
- 10:48I don't even know where you get this stuff, but it doesn't make it credible because you say so.
- 10:52I'm not saying it, uh, Director Patel.
- 10:54I I it's been written and documented.
- 10:56Uh you are literally saying it.
- 10:57No, I'm saying that these are reports, uh, Director Patel.
- 11:01Unlike unlike baseless reports, the only person that was slinging margaritas in El Salvador on the taxpayer dollar with a convicted gangbanging rapist was you.
- 11:09You know, those are the only person that ran up a $7,000 bar tab in Washington, D.C.
- 11:14is a lobby desk was you.
- 11:16This is the only individual in this room allegations.
- 11:21Okay, you're Director Patel, come on.
- 11:25These are serious allegations that were made against you.
- 11:28Allegations are filed.
- 11:30You drinking margaritas with a gangster.
- 11:32Actually, and I just goes to show you.
- 11:40During the day, that's you.
- 11:41And Van Holland later on X actually confirmed that $7,000 that Cash Patel was talking about.
- 11:48It was for a party.
- 11:50He said it was for catering for alcohol and food for a party that he threw.
- 11:55$7,000 tab there.
- 11:57That would be your taxpayer money, by the way.
- 12:00Here's one more from that exchange.
- 12:03Not lied to Congress.
- 12:04I didn't ask you.
- 12:06Do you I'm not testifying here, sir, and I don't lie.
- 12:09Maybe the next time you run up a $7,000 bar tab, we can talk about it.
- 12:12Well, see, there you go.
- 12:13Uh line again.
- 12:14You suggest in the FBC report.
- 12:15I'll post it right there.
- 12:16You suggested it was public.
- 12:18It wasn't public money, as you know.
- 12:20That was for a 50 member half part.
- 12:22So it was a $7,000 bar tab.
- 12:24Mr.
- 12:24Mr.
- 12:25Patel, I'm glad.
- 12:26Let me just say in closing, Mr.
- 12:27Chairman.
- 12:28And Van Holland, as I said, later confirmed that he did spend seven thousand dollars for fifty people.
- 12:35Interesting.
- 12:36Let's go back to Pete Heggseth in his questioning on Tuesday.
- 12:39This is Democrat Senator Chris Coons of Delaware.
- 12:43You've achieved a series of tactical successes, but are on the verge of a strategic loss.
- 12:49Because we are now negotiating just to get so foolish.
- 12:52Here we are in a committee in the United States Senate, 74 days in, and you're talking about strategic loss.
- 12:57They're talking about what's going on in Iran right now, 75 days roughly into this conflict.
- 13:03And Coons is saying you you're losing.
- 13:05You you had a great military success, but strategically you have lost.
- 13:10Do you agree to that?
- 13:10And Heggs says no.
- 13:12You have the ability to deploy a 47-year threat of a pursuit of a nuclear weapon.
- 13:17We have more leverage than we've ever had.
- 13:19We've had incredible battlefield successes, and you're talking about a strategic loss.
- 13:26This is how you undersecretary that could otherwise enter otherwise.
- 13:30I am not your enemy, sir.
- 13:31I am not your adversary.
- 13:33I share your goal of preventing Iran from ever having a usable nuclear weapon.
- 13:37To finish my sentence, control of the straight or hormouse, the ability to degrade our partners and allies, gas and oil production capabilities through cheap drones, the ability to harass and harry commercial shipping remains in Iran's hands.
- 13:54And their demands are that we recognize sovereignty for them over the straight of hormous, which I believe our presidents rejected.
- 14:00Which I believe our president's rejected, you've rejected, I reject.
- 14:02You've rejected, I reject.
- 14:03But my question remains how do we reopen the Strait of Hormoes to commercial shipping?
- 14:03But my question remains how do we reopen the Strait of Hormoes to commercial shipping?
- 14:08If we control it, how do we reopen it?
- 14:08If we control it, how do we reopen it?
- 14:11And your average American is seeing this at the gas pump every single day.
- 14:11And your average American is seeing this at the gas pump every single day.
- 14:16And he's absolutely right there.
- 14:16And he's absolutely right there.
- 14:18The Democrat Senator from Delaware asks a legitimate question.
- 14:18The Democrat Senator from Delaware asks a legitimate question, and I think that also is what Donald Trump is going to be talking to Chairman X about in China.
- 14:21And I think that also is what Donald Trump is going to be talking to Chairman Xi about in China.
- 14:28We started the hour that way with.
- 14:28We started the hour that way with one of the five things that Donald Trump will be discussing there in China.
- 14:35And that's one of them.
- 14:36Maybe China can help.
- 14:37Donald Trump said before he left from the White House on Tuesday that uh we don't need their help.
- 14:43I'm not gonna ask for their help.
- 14:45But however, if America can somehow sell China the oil that they need, then maybe that solves that problem altogether.
- 14:54I want to go back to inflation.
- 14:56I mentioned that inflation was up last month to 3.8% core inflation, which is really the tell because that's looking out into the future.
- 15:05It was only at 2.8%.
- 15:08So this little energy hit that is happening because of the straight of hormouse to the inflation is not going to be long lasting.
- 15:15This ends when this ends in Iran.
- 15:18And um the prices are gonna come back down.
- 15:21You have United Arab Emirates and uh Saudi Arabia running offensive uh military tactics and bombing inside of Iran now, and you have both of those countries with a lot of oil sitting on the sidelines.
- 15:34And when this comes to a conclusion, hopefully very soon, the prices on everything are gonna come down quickly.
- 15:42I've said that for a long time.
- 15:43Matt Palumbo and I, we discussed it on Monday nights, and I'm gonna stick to that.
- 15:47That's what will happen eventually.
- 15:50Good news from the economy.
- 15:52The April jobs numbers, the early numbers came out.
- 15:56That came out last Friday, and uh a lot of people are talking about this.
- 16:00115,000 new American jobs were created, government jobs lost.
- 16:068,000 government jobs lost.
- 16:08So in reality, that number was even higher.
- 16:10If you take away that negative government job number of 8,000.
- 16:14115,000 jobs created last month.
- 16:17That's good news for the economy.
- 16:19That core inflation at 2.8.
- 16:21It's up just a tick, but not a lot.
- 16:24That also is good news if you look forward.
- 16:27If only now we can get this Iran conflict over with, things are gonna start looking good for the American people and their checkbook at their kitchen table before we get to this midterm coming up in November.
- 16:40We pray for rain, thank you when it's falling because it brings a grain and a little bit of money.
- 16:46We put it back in the plate.
- 16:48I guess it's why they call it God's country.

- 19:52We're going to take this conversation into something a little bit different, something that I don't deal with a lot on this program.
- 19:58I have some, but this is going to be an interesting conversation.
- 20:01We have Rick Hill with us.
- 20:03We have Rick Hill with us now.
- 20:05And Rick is someone that was in serious trouble medically.
- 20:10And this was 50 years ago.
- 20:13But you know what?
- 20:14He didn't go through regular medicine.
- 20:16He decided to do a holistic approach.
- 20:20And somehow, some way that worked.
- 20:22And now for all of these years, he's been giving his life to try to help people like you and other people.
- 20:28You know, cancer is something that absolutely touches every one of our lives.
- 20:33And that's what we're going to have this conversation about.
- 20:35Rick, welcome to the program.
- 20:37So good to have you, and I'm glad you're joining us.
- 20:40Thank you, Booker.
- 20:42I appreciate it.
- 20:42I'm looking forward to this.
- 20:44Well, let's go back uh 50 years ago.
- 20:46I think that's where we start with your story, don't we?
- 20:49Uh, what was it, 1974?
- 20:51And you have stage three carcinoma.
- 20:54It didn't look good for you.
- 20:55You got a letter even.
- 20:58Yeah.
- 20:59Yeah, this is uh just how handsome I was back then.
- 21:00This is uh just how handsome I was back then.
- 21:03That's me with the uh gastro tube.
- 21:03That's me with the uh gastro tube after eight and a half hours of surgery, and uh they put me on uh morphine.
- 21:06After eight and a half hours of surgery.
- 21:09And uh they put me on uh morphine.
- 21:13I was down to 120 pounds.
- 21:13I was down to 120 pounds, and the chemotherapist came in for the chat, you know, the arm up on the thing on the edge of the bed, sure, just to tell me how the cow's gonna eat the cabbage, and he said, Well, you know, uh, good thing we asked you to bring your family into town a week ago.
- 21:16And the chemotherapist came in for the chat, you know, the arm up on the thing on the edge of the bed.
- 21:23Sure.
- 21:24Just to tell me how the Kyle's gonna eat the cabbage.
- 21:28And he said, Well.
- 21:38Uh, we found cancer, we operate on your neck up here.
- 21:41We found it in the lymphatic system.
- 21:45We operated on the top of your feet, and when I'm taking a shower every day, I look down and there it is.
- 21:51This crazy scar top of my feet, yeah.
- 21:55But both of them, and he said we found cancer there too.
- 21:59So, as I measure real estate, you pretty much are head to toe, and so we've got chemo, which will start on Monday.
- 22:10Today is Friday.
- 22:11You take the weekend off.
- 22:13Yeah, right.
- 22:15I'm gonna go home and relax.
- 22:16Yeah, and he said, uh, we'll see you back here Monday.
- 22:22So that afternoon, I drove uh home and I got a now now.
- 22:27Here, if I would booker, if I was going to do a screenplay, here's act one, and here's the inciting incident.
- 22:37And unlike the movies, this incident is not a bomb going off, not diving off a high building, etc.
- 22:45This is a 10 cent stamped letter that I got in the mail that day on the Friday.
- 22:54Brought it to me.
- 22:55I opened it and read it.
- 22:58It said, Dear Rick, if you want to live, you're gonna have to leave the May Clinic, John.
- 23:08Yeah, now most rational people would have torn that letter up, thrown it in the trash, and yelled, mind your own business.
- 23:18Sure.
- 23:19Why wouldn't you?
- 23:20I don't know why not everything shut off, and that thing is just bugging me to death.
- 23:25Um I I definitely would have thrown it away.
- 23:27I would have put it in the trash, and I would have gone back to Mayo Clinic on Monday morning.
- 23:32Well, this guy's not a doctor, okay.
- 23:35Let's start there.
- 23:36So I knew him.
- 23:38Uh I was in seminary, and he would come as a Baptist pastor.
- 23:43He'd he'd speak in chapel, but not your regular Baptist pastor.
- 23:49No, this guy was a John Birch Society member.
- 23:54And if you don't know what that is, think about MAGA, but on steroids, yeah.
- 23:58All right, real conservative.
- 24:02And he'd talk about Jesus for the first 15 minutes of his sermon, and he'd talk about getting out of the UN the last 15 minutes.
- 24:14I agree with that.
- 24:14I agree with John, by the way.
- 24:16We should in fact, let's not get out of the UN, let's get rid of the UM, but keep going with the your letter from John.
- 24:23Yeah, and and I agree with him too now, by the by, but not that I was one of the illumined ones, you know.
- 24:31So me and the other boys that sit in the back of chapel, and I go, All right, he's gonna get to the UN pretty quick.
- 24:38Are you ready?
- 24:39It's coming.
- 24:40There it is, and you know, this guy talk about the UN and other things, you know.
- 24:45Uh Jekyll Island and all that kind of thing.
- 24:49So I get this letter from him, and I I've he puts his phone number at the bottom.
- 24:54I call him up.
- 24:55I said, John, if you weren't a Baptist pastor, I'd ask you what you're smoking, and that'd ask you if I could have some.
- 25:04What do you mean, leave the mayo clinic?
- 25:07It is the citadel of modern medicine.
- 25:11He said, I agree.
- 25:14Well, why would I leave?
- 25:16Where am I gonna go?
- 25:17It's the best in the world.
- 25:20He said, I agree is a citadel of modern medicine and surgery, but I don't think they know squat about the human immune system.
- 25:32Oh, and where did you learn this, John?
- 25:35At the Central Seminary, I'm really giving them that time, and he says, No, I just read a lot, and I talk to my friends and look at it this way, Rick.
- 25:47You're not doing too well.
- 25:48I heard I said, No, okay.
- 25:51120 pounds, I'm on morphine, seeing the pink elephants, not my best time of life.
- 25:58Yeah, he said, I heard that, I knew that, and he said, There are clinics around the world, maybe some here in the states, but I haven't found out yet, and there are and he said, But I know one that really is getting good results.
- 26:19I said, Okay, where do I go?
- 26:21He said, You fly into San Diego.
- 26:25I said, Oh, I like Sandy Egg, and then he said, Yeah, then you get on a on a bus and you and you go down to Tijuana.
- 26:36I said, So I'm taking notes, John.
- 26:38Help me out.
- 26:40You want me to go to my family and say I'm leaving the Mayo Clinic, gonna go to TJ, huh?
- 26:47And and John, what are they gonna do to me in Tijuana?
- 26:50He said, Well, they have a natural organic treatment, and what's it made out of if it's natural and organic?
- 27:01He said, Are you sitting down?
- 27:05Booker, nothing good comes after that question ever from anybody, and I said, All right, John, I'm sitting down.
- 27:14What he says, well, it's an extract from the apricot plant, yeah, or apricot, depending on what part of the world you were born in.
- 27:24Yeah, I say apricot.
- 27:25What do you say?
- 27:25You say apricot?
- 27:26Okay, yeah.
- 27:28And I said, Well, here's why you're not thinking.
- 27:33I eat every season when apricots are out in full.
- 27:37I eat lots of them, I like them.
- 27:39He said, You're not eating them correctly.
- 27:42I said, You want me to hold it in my left hand when I eat it?
- 27:45What do you want?
- 27:46He says, That is what you should be eating, bud.
- 27:51He said, That's inside the pit.
- 27:54That's an apricot kernel, and it is very high in what's called nitrilocyte, which is a bitter kind of uh amoretto finish baker's grind them up, use them in muffins, all that.
- 28:00Which is a bitter kind of uh amareto finish bakers, grind them up, use them in muffins, all that.
- 28:09And I said, Oh man, I can just hear it now if I take this story back.
- 28:09And I said, Oh man, I can just hear it now if I take this story back.
- 28:14He said, Well, I got some phone numbers here if you want to call some people.
- 28:14He said, Well, I got some phone numbers here if you want to call some people.
- 28:17I said, I'm not gonna do that, but I'll tell you what I will do.
- 28:17I said, I'm not gonna do that, but I'll tell you what I will do.
- 28:20I'll go see my chemotherapist this afternoon and tell him what you told me.
- 28:20I'll go see my chemotherapist this afternoon and tell him what you told me.
- 28:26Wife takes me over, get an emergency thing, sit down.
- 28:26Wife takes me over, get an emergency thing, sit down with them.
- 28:30I told him what I just told you.
- 28:33Okay, and this is Friday afternoon, then is that correct?
- 28:36Yeah, okay.
- 28:37So you go back to the Mayo Clinic, you sit there with a doctor, and you say, I just got a letter from a guy named John from Seminary who doesn't like the United Nations, and he's kind of wackadoodle in a lot of different ways, and he tells me I need apricot, and what did the doctor say to you?
- 28:54Pretty much accurate quotation.
- 28:58I wasn't as I was I wasn't as nice as I would have told you, and I said, If you were me, what would you do?
- 29:07And he leaned back in his chair like this, and he goes, You know what, Rick?
- 29:11It is warm in Tijuana this time of year.
- 29:14Interesting answer.
- 29:16In other words, I don't think they're gonna help you, you know.
- 29:20Whether you're gonna shots a tequila, yeah.
- 29:23He knew they weren't gonna help me, and he didn't want to risk a 300,000 K job a year by going, run, get out of here.
- 29:32No, just told me it was warm there.
- 29:34He could say we were talking about the weather.
- 29:37I said, Message delivered, thank you so much.
- 29:40Got up, went back home.
- 29:42We had dinner, stood up, told my family what I told you and the chemotherapist, and to a person, they all went like that.
- 29:54Yeah, you're looked around and say, look at their friendly face, none.
- 30:00My brother Sam, Sam Hill stood up and he said, You know, Ricky, we always knew you were stupid, we just didn't know how stupid you can be, and I looked at everybody, I thought that's it.
- 30:18I'm sick, I need some you mentioned your family there a couple of times.
- 30:24Who's there?
- 30:25Who who are who's your family at that time?
- 30:27Again, this is 1974, so uh you were much younger at that time.
- 30:32You were a young man when this happened.
- 30:34How old were you when this was happening?
- 30:3624.
- 30:37Okay, so your family would be your brother and your parents, and maybe some other siblings, my sister, parents, and my in-laws, and my wife.
- 30:48So I get everybody's kind of silent.
- 30:51My wife is just looking at her shoes.
- 30:53The consensus was you're you're crazy.
- 30:56Yeah, okay, good.
- 30:57We got my father-in-law, who's a big burly, owns caterpillar tractors, yeah.
- 31:04You know, yeah, as a piece of straw out of his mouth all day long, and he stood up and he said, 'I like it.' I'll take him down there, and I'll help pay for it.
- 31:16Well, my family looked at their shoes, they didn't want this program, and I said, Deal.
- 31:25And two days later, this Detroit greaser with the Fonse Airdo left for Tijuana, Mexico, and I'm telling you, yeah, I went down the rabbit's hole.
- 31:38I didn't know that world.
- 31:40Go ahead.
- 31:41Yeah, I was just gonna say, so you're 24 years old, you hop on a plane, you do not go to Mayo Clinic to get really the chemotherapy.
- 31:49I know, no radiation, probably a lot more drugs are going to be coming your way.
- 31:54You're at stage three, it doesn't look good.
- 31:57Did you feel like you had much of a choice there?
- 32:00Did you feel like okay, I have to go try this because I know my fate if I stay here?
- 32:06What was your mind like at that point?
- 32:09The chemotherapist tipped me off.
- 32:14That man basically, unless I read into it what I wanted to hear, said to me, if you want to go, then you just go.
- 32:25That's all there is to it.
- 32:28All right, shut off.
- 32:29Not just the red button.
- 32:32Apologies.
- 32:33So I just felt like I, you know, I do have a theological background, I do love the funny stories in the Bible, and what this sounded like to me was Abraham getting a wife for his daughter or for his son, Isaac.
- 32:52Yeah, and I'll I'll hurry.
- 32:55He sends the camels loaded down with a jewelry dowry, 450 miles across the desert.
- 33:03He says, Now, when you get there, it's gonna be a good looking woman at the well.
- 33:08Well, I don't care how good looking she is, I'm not traveling 450 miles in the desert on the back of a camel.
- 33:16But he gets there, he says, My father Abraham sent me down here, and and he would like you to serve the Lord our God as the wife of Isaac.
- 33:26We've got your dowry here loaded on these camels, and when they walk toward her, her eyes are you know blinking in the reflection of gold, and I mean, it was probably worth half a million dollars, and so she looks at the camels, she looks at him, looks at the camels, she goes, deal.
- 33:46Yeah, I mean, just like my deal.
- 33:48And that's the way you felt.
- 33:49You said, Okay, deal with your father-in-law.
- 33:52Let's go, let's get on the plane, let's go to Tijuana.
- 33:55Three things in a row that are really stupid happened to me in one day.
- 34:00The letter, the chemotherapist, my father-in-law.
- 34:05You know, I just said, I don't know what I'm doing.
- 34:10I'm going, and I went, and together we went down there.
- 34:14First day, we go to a health food store.
- 34:17If they had health food stores in Detroit, I never saw one.
- 34:22And if they had one, I wouldn't have gone in.
- 34:25I go in there, and it's hug-tree heaven.
- 34:30All the women are walking around and wrinkled granny dresses, and I'm the only one there wearing underwear.
- 34:37I mean, this place is stone ground.
- 34:43What's in the health uh store in Tijuana, Mexico?
- 34:46What's in there?
- 34:47No, no, this was San Diego.
- 34:48I'm you're in San Diego.
- 34:50Okay.
- 34:50Yeah, I'm still in San Diego.
- 34:52And there, I didn't recognize most of the food in there.
- 34:57I'd never eaten an avocado, and they were serving little tastes of it, and it looked like diaper stuff.
- 35:00They were serving little tastes of it and it looked like diaper stuff.
- 35:03Yeah, I mean, it was horrible.
- 35:04I mean it was horrible.
- 35:06And and these soups that just smelled like herbs and all this stuff.
- 35:06And these soups that just smelled like herbs and all this stuff.
- 35:11And I looked at my father-in-law and I went, want to go for a burger when this is over.
- 35:11And I looked at my father-in-law and I went, want to go for a burger when this is over.
- 35:16And I just said, but here's here's the lesson.
- 35:16And I just said, but here's here's the lesson.
- 35:22I didn't blend.
- 35:22I didn't blend, and your listeners don't have to either.
- 35:24And your listeners don't have to either.
- 35:28I didn't have to believe.
- 35:28I didn't have to believe.
- 35:30I mean, you hear these guys in the seminar, unless you believe.
- 35:34You know.
- 35:35Nope.
- 35:36You really think I thought a little corner clinic in TJ was going to do as well as the Mayo Clinic to help me?
- 35:45I wasn't sure.
- 35:46My wife gets on the plane to say goodbye.
- 35:49Do that back then.
- 35:50Yeah.
- 35:51I'm crying, she's crying.
- 35:53And I said to her, sweetie, I think it's a one-way ticket.
- 35:58So the next day we go to the clinic, and I meet the doctor.
- 36:02He says, I only have one question.
- 36:05Are you willing to do what we ask you to do?
- 36:07And I'm thinking, uh oh.
- 36:10I don't know you from Adam Doc.
- 36:12I don't know what you do here.
- 36:14He says, Well, I'm a real MD.
- 36:16I actually worked at children's hospital in in Boston.
- 36:20And he said, But I own the clinic that you're in now, and I'm I'm telling you, this stuff is amazing to me.
- 36:28But you have to help.
- 36:30Are you going to change your diet?
- 36:33Are you going to do the healthy things we ask you to do?
- 36:37And are you going to do them for the rest of your life?
- 36:44I'm going to miss beer.

- 38:24It is unleashed the political news hour.
- 38:26After that, the national security hour, and at nine o'clock Eastern after dark with Rob and Andrew.
- 38:31I'm Booker Scott.
- 38:32Thank you for joining us tonight.
- 38:33We are visiting with Rick Hill.
- 38:35He's telling the story about going to Tijuana, Mexico in 1974.
- 38:40He was down to 120 pounds, stage three cancer.
- 38:44He leaves the mayo clinic.
- 38:45Rick, I think we're caught up.
- 38:47Let's keep going with your story.
- 38:49All right, from here it moves pretty fast because we're in act two.
- 38:53In act two, the doctor says, I mean, it here's why people don't think it works.
- 39:00It is so simple.
- 39:04It's not complex.
- 39:06First of all, they start giving me these pro enzymes.
- 39:10Now, what are enzymes?
- 39:12They're designed to digest protein among among other things.
- 39:16You take them with meals, they'll digest the protein you had with your meal, like a steak.
- 39:21If you take them between meals like I do at 10 o'clock and two o'clock, because I'm an old guy, that's how we take our meds.
- 39:31They digest the protein that may be covering cancer cells.
- 39:37That's how they hide.
- 39:38Now, this isn't my idea.
- 39:40This was the 1920s.
- 39:42A doctor named John Beard.
- 39:44By the way, for your listeners, I'll give them the most scholarly book on all this for free.
- 39:51You don't even have to have a credit card to get it to come to you.
- 39:54You simply log on to my worldwithout cancer.com.
- 39:59My worldwithout cancer.com, and we will send you uh G Edward Griffin's scholarly treatise on what is Laotrill.
- 40:11What is vitamin B17?
- 40:13And why did our government shut it down?
- 40:17I can't think of a question you can come up with that isn't covered in that really good book.
- 40:23And it's yours for free, a PDF copy, electronic, and it's 300 pages.
- 40:29All right.
- 40:30So they start giving me lots of these enzymes.
- 40:34By the way, you had a lot of them when you were about two months old.
- 40:39Yeah, that's right.
- 40:40You had trophoblast cells in your body in your mother's pancreas, kicks out the stuff called chymotrypsin to protect you and your mom.
- 40:52And it takes the protein off, so your immune system, the mother's immune system, can see what's going on and protect.
- 41:01Well, at 24 years old, where's my mom?
- 41:04Where's my umbilical cord?
- 41:06I don't have it.
- 41:08So I took my umbilical cord, those enzymes, uh, at the clinic.
- 41:14Secondly, there's a backup plan, and it's called B17.
- 41:18You can get it in the pills, and I didn't start taking these for almost a year afterwards.
- 41:23But this an ampule, laotrill, a megdalin.
- 41:28They just put the needle in there, and on Monday to Thursday, they gave me three grams right here, and then on Friday, they gave me six grams, an amount which our government says will kill any adult.
- 41:44So the American government, the American government says that.
- 41:48Yeah, yeah.
- 41:49The Mexican government thought, well, you know, it's working for these guys.
- 41:52Let's leave them alone.
- 41:53Well, you mentioned earlier, you mentioned earlier that the doctor said there are some clinics in America back in 1974.
- 42:001974, you didn't know exactly where those were.
- 42:01You didn't know exactly where those were.
- 42:03Are there clinics now here in America that are doing holistic healing like this for cancer?
- 42:03Are there clinics now here in America that are doing holistic healing like this for cancer?
- 42:10There really are.
- 42:10They really are.
- 42:11Um, in fact, if somebody wanted to get a hold of me, uh remember, I don't practice medicine.
- 42:11Um, in fact, if somebody wanted to get hold of me, uh remember, I don't practice medicine.
- 42:17I will never tell your listeners what to do.
- 42:17I will never tell your listeners what to do.
- 42:21I will tell them what I did.
- 42:21I will tell them what I did.
- 42:23If they think that's a good idea, I can tell them to get the stuff where to get the stuff I had.
- 42:23If they think that's a good idea, I can tell them to get the stuff where to get the stuff I had, and then if they're in stage three and four, my recommendation is they find a holistic licensed medical doctor to help.
- 42:41And and and that's important.
- 42:43I mean, we're I'm not crazy, although my family thinks I was.
- 42:47Uh well, Rick Rick, you said that that back then that the American government, the amount that you were using that they were giving you in Tijuana, the American government wouldn't allow that.
- 43:00Does the American government allow that now as part of okay?
- 43:05They do, and I'll tell you how we got smarter.
- 43:08Uh they kind of forgot about it because they drove us so deep underground that we stayed underground.
- 43:14But uh, my the guy I work for is named John Richardson, his father was an MD, and he wrote Laetro case histories, 60 some 62 case histories about people who were stage four, did exactly what I did, and got their health back.
- 43:36Well, once that book was published, they came blaring into his offices, guns drawn, arrested him, arrested his nurse, put them both in the hooscow, and took away his medical license for a food product.
- 43:53Why?
- 43:54Because it really worked well, and chemo doesn't work that well.
- 43:59Yeah, pharmaceutical companies don't like that, do they?
- 44:02Ah, they've got a really bad attitude about losing.
- 44:06We've got that going on right now in Washington, DC, too, with uh RFK Jr.
- 44:11and the CDC FDA.
- 44:13Did you see the hearing a couple of days ago?
- 44:17Holy cow, they beat everything but beat them over the head with the chair.
- 44:22Yeah, well, all those politicians are getting paid, obviously, from the pharmaceutical companies.
- 44:28Big money, yeah.
- 44:29He told Pocahontas, yeah.
- 44:31How much she's getting.
- 44:33She didn't like that much.
- 44:35So it's just three products, and then they say he gave me a diet sheet.
- 44:41Then the nurse comes in the next day and goes, Today we are gonna start your detox.
- 44:48I said, Good.
- 44:50What's a detox?
- 44:52And she's carrying this this bag with a hose, and she says, Well, did you ever change the water in the radiator of your car?
- 45:02And I said, Oh, yeah, I got a 57 Ford, slick tires, first floor shift, handling it.
- 45:08She goes, good, and I said, Good.
- 45:13Where does that hose go?
- 45:16I learned what a colonic is.
- 45:18Now, before you throw something at me, Elvis, when he died, they said he had over 50 pounds of undigested matter in his large coat.
- 45:3150 pounds, and they told me we want you so clean that you squeak when you walk, get that poison out of you, get good nutritious food into you, and give your immune system the ability to see cancer cells and fight cancer cells.
- 45:52That's the program.
- 45:55We sell it at RNC store.com as a as an adjunct, like high dose vitamin C, like Meyer's cocktails for hangovers.
- 46:06In other words, it's a food product just to get you buffed up, and that's how we market it.
- 46:14We don't say that we're doing now it helped me, but I never told anybody.
- 46:19I'll guarantee you this will work.
- 46:21I've never said those words.
- 46:23So simple program, low cost, government irritated.
- 46:30Just recently, we've come out of the groundwork to help.
- 46:35Well, Rick, let's go back to let's go back to you real quick.
- 46:38Let's go to Tijuana.
- 46:39I interrupted you when you were going to get cleaned out.
- 46:42So that was another part of the treatment from there.
- 46:45What happened?
- 46:46I guess diet came into it as well.
- 46:49Yeah.
- 46:50And the diet is real simple too.
- 46:5280% raw and uncooked fruits and vegetables.
- 46:57Uh, you can have some meat as long as it's broiled and organic, and you only eat about four ounces of it.
- 47:04Not because meat was cursed by the devil, but because meat is high protein, and you've got a plan for the protein in your body.
- 47:13I did, I should say, and that is you want it gone.
- 47:17So your immune system, the T cells, killer cells, macrophages, and micro, they can see the cancer then and they go after it.
- 47:26Cancer cells want to survive just like every other cell in your body, it's part of the human process.
- 47:34So I'm eating these squishy meals.
- 47:38I'm taking the colonics every few days.
- 47:42I'm hoping no one finds out, not in Detroit.
- 47:46We beat people up for that kind of thing.
- 47:48True.
- 47:49I'm doing it.
- 47:52Yeah.
- 47:53So that basically is.
- 47:56I mean, I don't want to cut you short and pretend that it was simple when it wasn't, but that was it.
- 48:02I was there three weeks.
- 48:05So you were in three weeks, you were healed.
- 48:09You go back home to Detroit.
- 48:11Do you go back to the Mayo Clinic at that point?
- 48:14I I did, but but let me clear something up.
- 48:17I don't think I was healed.
- 48:19That's why today you heard my alarm go off, and I apologize, but my alarm was to remind me that at four o'clock I'm taking some of these enzymes.
- 48:30Because I think these cancer cells are probably or pro, but you know, the name for them are probably in everybody, yeah.
- 48:41And it depends on outside forces whether they get irritated enough to shut the immune system down.
- 48:48When that happens, now they grow like crazy, and and we need help.
- 48:54We gotta take, we're not an umbilical cord recipient at that point.
- 48:59So when you go back to the doctor, do they I guess they run tests, they would have to.
- 49:00To the doctor, do they?
- 49:01I guess they run tests, they would have to.
- 49:04Are you cancer free at that point, or is there a longer period of time before you become cancer free?
- 49:04Are you cancer free at that point, or is there a longer period of time before you become cancer free?
- 49:10Or did you become cancer free?
- 49:10Or did you become cancer free?
- 49:12I guess that's a bunch of questions there.
- 49:12I guess that's a bunch of questions there.
- 49:15Well, uh, I had an oncologist measure my can't tumor markers, cancer markers, and at one point they pronounced me um in remission, which incidentally is the most dangerous.
- 49:15Well, uh, I had an oncologist measure my can't tumor markers, cancer markers, and at one point they pronounced me um in remission, which incidentally is the most dangerous time in the life of a cancer patient.
- 49:33Why is usually they go, well, I dodge that bullet.
- 49:38Good to go, man.
- 49:40And they go back to the Diet Coke and the burgers and the fried foods and the you know, long hours with no sleep, all of the above.
- 49:52And then six months to nine months later, you see them on Facebook going, You gotta pray for me.
- 49:58It's back, my liver's full of cancer, it's spread to my spine.
- 50:03I don't know what the dope.
- 50:05Yeah, that never happened to me because I was either didn't want to see Jesus, wasn't in a hurry, or it's not that big, it's not expensive, it's not that big a deal for me to set my alarm and take some of these pills during the day.
- 50:25It's no big deal.
- 50:26So I did go back to the mail clinic to answer your point blank question.
- 50:31Made an appointment about a year after I'd been to Tijuana.
- 50:36Came, I'm shortening this, but I came through the door and he went, and he held his hand up to stop, and so I stopped.
- 50:45I was walking toward his desk, and he said, I want you to know before we start this conversation that nothing you did in Tijuana could have had anything to do with this apparent recovery that you've had.
- 51:01What was it?
- 51:02Was it Jesus?
- 51:03Is that what he was thinking?
- 51:04Was it a miracle?
- 51:06I asked him because any normal person would go, What the heck?
- 51:11And I said, So what do you think happened to me, doc?
- 51:15I don't look like I did when I was here.
- 51:18Do I?
- 51:19He said, No, no, you sure don't.
- 51:21He said, You had what we call a natural remission.
- 51:26In other words, without provocation, not from us, not from them.
- 51:32Your cancer decided to leave your body.
- 51:35The doctor was not willing to hear anything that you had done in Tijuana.
- 51:39He didn't want to hear about it.
- 51:40There had to be another explanation.
- 51:42It couldn't be the things that you did.
- 51:45So I said, Well, how come I didn't naturally remit when I was in Tijuana?
- 51:50I was in Rochester longer than I was in Tijuana, and I guess got worse and worse and worse here.
- 51:58You said that yourself.
- 52:01And there I got better and better and better.
- 52:04Now, you don't see the correlation.
- 52:07He said, It's absolutely not possible.
- 52:13I said, Well, I know.
- 52:16I know something about you, Doc.
- 52:18You look like a bright guy, but looks can be deceiving.
- 52:22Because if you were a real healer, you know what you'd say.
- 52:26I don't know.
- 52:28But sit down and tell me what the heck you did.
- 52:30I'll take notes and then I'll do some research because something happened to you, huh?
- 52:38And I said, Well, I'm not gonna stick around for that.
- 52:41I walked out the door because he wasn't interested.
- 52:46Just like you did earlier in 1974.
- 52:49That's exactly it.
- 52:51And today we are no further ahead.
- 52:54None.
- 52:55We still use the same chemos, five fuerz.
- 53:01Five FU is partially owned by the American Cancer Society.
- 53:05You think you think our senators are the only people taking the piece of the pie?
- 53:11Oh no, of course not.
- 53:12It's a huge, it is a huge uh in um financial uh windfall for hospitals for doctors.
- 53:20There's a huge uh market there for uh cancer treatment.
- 53:25Billions, or is our uh from uh Vermont would say billions, yeah.
- 53:33So go ahead.
- 53:35Uh let's let's talk about what you do today to remain healthy to stay cancer free.
- 53:41You have now retired, and it's crazy, but you end up in San Diego where you took that flight to start your journey to Tijuana.
- 53:50How do you what do you do now?
- 53:52My kids are here, and I'm working with a company called Richardson Nutritional Center, RNC dot com, and we sell these three things, come on, and some other things.
- 54:06We even have a pop rocks that are infused with B17.
- 54:10Yeah, I know we're all crazy.
- 54:12So those are the three.
- 54:14You can go on there and type in the search bar Rick, and they'll offer you a special deal for these, and then they'll offer you a free book, which guess who wrote that?
- 54:26I did, and the name of that book is Too Young to Die, correct?
- 54:30Is that look how thick it is?
- 54:32There's a there's a scholar you have on your show today.
- 54:36I mean, it's thin, man, and big print and pictures.
- 54:40All right.
- 54:41That's my kind of book.
- 54:43I'm not gonna teach people math and science.
- 54:47I but I'll tell them stories, I'll make them laugh, I'll make them see the ridiculousness of what we have turned our backs on, and in favor of what?
- 54:59You know, and and if they order that free book, the big thick 300 pager, and they're willing, and that's on uh books on tape, I think it's called.
- 55:08So if you're gonna take a long trip, at least buy that and kill the time.
- 55:12But tell you what, I've never had chemo, I've never had radiation.
- 55:19Look at me, and I've never relaxed in 50, almost 50 October is my 51st year.
- 55:28And you think I haven't been paid a thousand times for the way I've lived.
- 55:33I'm almost 75.
- 55:36I weigh 160 pounds, and I don't take any prescriptions.
- 55:42I'm not doing this, I'm saying I just did what they told me, and now I'm reaping the benefits.
- 55:49And here we are, 50 years later.
- 55:51We're talking to Rick Hall here tonight.
- 55:54Rick, thank you so much for joining us.
