Episode 174: Candy Says
Candy Says is a three-piece punk band from Ottawa, bringing raw energy, sharp attitude, and unapologetic identity to the local scene. Blending influences from bands like Wire, The Damned, Bikini Kill, and The Cramps, their sound sits somewhere between classic punk urgency and modern queercore grit. Formed over a year ago, Candy Says has quickly made a name for themselves through high-energy live shows and a growing presence in Ottawa’s DIY community.
