- 0:00But here we are. Are you ready to enter us the judgment? So
- 0:04I just want to give a little judge. Somebody has found themselves in a
- 0:07situation and they need your advice. So seven O one two eight h one
- 0:11ninety eight seven. His name is Ross. Good morning, Ross. Hey,
- 0:15are you doing great? Great? Awesome? Really good to talk to
- 0:17you. Thank you for doing this with us. Now tell us what's going
- 0:19on with your son. It's a little difficult my son. My son is
- 0:24in hockey, but he's he's struggling with it. He's not a he's not
- 0:28as gifted as some of the other players. And how old is your son?
- 0:33He's sixteen, but he wants to continue to keep playing. But you
- 0:37know it's expensive. Not every sports the same, and this one, this
- 0:40one costs some money, a lot of money, to be fair. Yeah,
- 0:43you know, I think I think I wanted to be done, you
- 0:45know, I want I want to give him the freedom to choose different things.
- 0:48But this, this one's not going well. He needs to find something
- 0:51else. You know, my wife thinks something too harsh. Do you think
- 0:56he's just doing it just to kind of do it or do you do you
- 0:58really feel like he's super powder? And he enjoys it, whether he's one
- 1:02of the best kids or not. I think he's passionate. I definitely think
- 1:04he's passionate. But it doesn't but be a passion doesn't pay the bills.
- 1:07Has he ever thought of golf? Ross, because you know, I have
- 1:11a lot of regrets of growing up not doing more golf. Guys that could
- 1:14be even more expensive. Well, I mean, I mean, if that's
- 1:17the thing, I mean, do you just not want him involved in anything?
- 1:21I just want him born to make a decision where he can continue to
- 1:25learn. But he's making some progress with this, I just don't think.
- 1:27I just don't see the progress happening, and I just don't see any return
- 1:32from it. Ross. Here's what we're going to do. Somebody's been through
- 1:34this before. They're going to have some insight for you. So we're going
- 1:37to take some calls. People gonna get a little judge being that it is
- 1:40the judgment zone. So just listen in and hopefully you can get a resolution
- 1:44here that's good for you, your wife and your son. Great Well seven
- 1:49oh one two eight ozho one ninety eight seven. Ross's son just not quite
- 1:53you know, getting it feel like it's more of a financial thing. Because
- 1:57financial then it's like, yeah, I get it, that's it's expensive and
- 2:01that's the deal breaker then, But you've got it to this point, how
- 2:05have you financially been able to do that? And if he is the thing
- 2:07is, if your kid is passionate about it and is what he loves to
- 2:09do, even if he's not the best, you just gotta let him keep
- 2:13going. I would totally get it if the kid seemed to just be doing
- 2:15it, just going through the motions, not putting any extra work in right,
- 2:19So why am I paying for this if you really aren't even enjoying it?
- 2:22But that's going to be the key thing, whether the kid is truly
- 2:24you know, out there for the fun of it. We all know kids
- 2:27growing up who they knew they were never going to be a starter. They
- 2:30just love going. It's all part of the experience. Heck, I wrote
- 2:34that I rode that bench better than anybody in football that said hindsight, like,
- 2:38if you knew how the rest of your high school career was going to
- 2:40go and you weren't gonna ever become anything, yeah, I probably would have
- 2:44quit. You know, would you really? Oh? One hundred percent?
- 2:46It just was, it wouldn't have been worth it, you know, like
- 2:47I'd rather focus on something else that was actually okay. At So I think
- 2:51for this kid it might be a blessing that his dad is a total cheap
- 2:53skate. But oh see, I disagree tight h one ninety eight seven.
- 3:00What should he do? Good morning? Honestly you will regret not letting him
- 3:04play like kids quote so fast? And is it something he actually likes to
- 3:07do? Let him? Just dad sounds like a selfish jerk. Do you
- 3:10get the vibe that the dad is primarily, you know, financially motivated,
- 3:15like he's just trying to save a couple bucks. That's but also he's also
- 3:19result oriented. But it's like sometimes let's just do it for the system of
- 3:22doing it, because it's fun and we enjoy it. I also think you're
- 3:23learning really good social skills when you're on a team sport. Some less very
- 3:29grow I don't know, hockey kids are kind of weirdos, don't you.
- 3:32Well, thank you for the call, man, appreciate it. Thanks.
- 3:35Are we getting any text over on this seven one two eight h one ninety
- 3:38eight seven phone we are? It sounds like air quotes Ross cares more about
- 3:43money than his child. And also we got a lot of people chime in
- 3:46it on Facebook, and I will tell you about ninety percent of them are
- 3:50saying let him play. Regina Sheila, Melissa Barb saying, wow, passion
- 3:55doesn't pay the bills. Neither does high school hockey. Dad, that's to
- 3:59get his priority. That was a weird line. One more call. What's
- 4:02your name? Oh, let's go with John. Let's go at John.
- 4:06John. What do you think about the situation, the fact that a dad
- 4:11has to call in an outsources parenting to the radio show. This kid is
- 4:15done for whatever decision he chooses. I think people just want to validate their
- 4:21reasoning, you know. So he's just hoping that he's going to hear somebody
- 4:25calling to be like, yeah, he's totally right. That kid ain't any
- 4:28good. Get him out of there. But so far anyway not going his
- 4:32way. But I'm assuming you're a parent, Yeah, how would you handle
- 4:35this situation if your kid wasn't excelling at something it was a financial burden,
- 4:42but they were passionate about it. Well, it's not about the financial burden.
- 4:46You're a parent, it's your job. You pay for it. If
- 4:48your kid likes it and he's learning something not about excelling. If he is
- 4:53learning a life lesson from it, you let him do it, right,
- 4:56I mean, unless you're literally not able to put food on the table because
- 5:00of the hockey fees, that's a different discussion, exactly exactly. All right,
- 5:03Well, hate John, John, Thank you so much for going,
- 5:06John. Oh John, Yeah, all right, you're welcome, John,
- 5:12Old John. So all right, one more call, good morning. Who's
- 5:15this? This is Genie hy Jeanie. What do you think? Oh?
- 5:16I think that first half, we've got to give hats off to the sun
- 5:20for knowing that he's probably not good as the rest of the kids, but
- 5:24wants to continue to play. I think totally. I think that shows a
- 5:28lot about his character. Second thing is I think this is more about the
- 5:31dad than the son, who can't be the proud papa in the stands.
- 5:38Yeah, I think dad might be trying to, you know, relive his
- 5:41glory days and it's not quite working out like you had imagined when he was,
- 5:44you know, finding out he was having a boy. My son's going
- 5:46to be the best hockey player, you know, right, And hockey is
- 5:49extensive, so is every other sport. Or you know, for the for
- 5:53the most part, but if it's something that his son wants to do,
- 5:58I think sixteen is pretty late to start changing sports, right, right exactly,
- 6:02unless, like I said, you want to get a headstart on golf,
- 6:04because as a thirty three year old, that's about all I'm doing physically,
- 6:09so pickleballs an option these days. Right. Oh, we appreciate you.
- 6:13Thanks so much for chiming in. You bet I have a great day.
- 6:15Well, this one seems pretty cut and dry, yo, I don't
- 6:18think we really need to enter a judgment. I don't feel bad because I
- 6:23agree. I don't think the dad wanted to hear all of this, but
- 6:25hopefully he takes this advice and a good block. Enjoy the junior varsity games.
- 6:30They're fun too, right verdict? Let the kid play Amanda in the
- 6:35morning. Now, Amanda stills the seat. Wet's see, Well, you
- 6:40dropped this yesterday. I had missed this. I fell asleep by the time
- 6:43we got to Best Picture for the Oscars and al Pacino got on stage.
- 6:47And every time you watch an award show for the grand finale, it's usually
- 6:51like a pretty big deal, but not when Pacino's up there. No,
- 6:56ten wonderful films. Oh, well, nominated, but only one will take
- 7:02the award for Best Picture. And I have to go to the envelope for
- 7:09that boy, and I will, okay, please get out of their alms,
- 7:15hang on, come on, and Maria, I see Oppenheimer. Oh
- 7:21yes, okay, yes, I have ADMA. So we all went.
- 7:28What happened? I guess it was not a mistake. The producers actually wanted
- 7:32it to go that way. They told him to admit the names of those
- 7:35that were nominated. They felt that the individual film presentations throughout the night were
- 7:40enough. But I still feel like you could have amped it up a bit.
- 7:43Well, at the rate he was going, if you were to have
- 7:45to announce ten movies, he'd still be going. So I think they had
- 7:49it about right my eyes. The Openheimer, they're ten separate envelopes and hang
- 7:58on now. And speaking of the Oscars, how about this little surprise Taylor
- 8:03Swift and Travis Kelsey. There were some rumors they were going to show up
- 8:05at the Oscars, but when it ended up happening as they flew back from
- 8:09Singapore into la and they just went to an after party totally on the DL.
- 8:13I guess Madonna throws a party every single year at a producer's house.
- 8:18His name is Guy, not Guy Fieri, but a different guy, Guy,
- 8:20and the guy he's a guy who knows a guy. But it's a
- 8:26Gucci sponsored event, so I guess it's a strict no camera policy, so
- 8:30nobody really got any pictures of them or anything, which I love this for
- 8:33them, do you I do? He said that I loved this so much
- 8:41for that for them. On the other hand, Kim Kardashian and Odell Beckham
- 8:45Junior, they were spotted out and about in front of well all the cameras
- 8:48a couple of different times, so they're definitely a thing. It definitely seems
- 8:52like nobody cares either, which is great. You know, how do you
- 8:56bring that up? I've just so over the Kardashians. Do you know what
- 9:01I almost did yesterday because of the whole Balenciaga. Do you know the whole
- 9:03Balenciaga? No, you've read of it? Okay, just in general,
- 9:09I'm just over it. Like I almost unfollowed Kim Kardashian yesterday. I know
- 9:13bold I haven't unfollowed Britney Spears yet, but I'm unfollowing Kim Kardashian. I
- 9:18just I'm over it. Haven't watched the Kardashians in over a year. I'm
- 9:22like a new person. Good for you. What are you shifting or focus
- 9:26to my children? Life books, poetry? Now I'm just lying. I
- 9:33don't believe any of it now, all right, speaking to the Kardashians.
- 9:37The youngest Northwest, who is trying to like if she's not the youngest Kardashian,
- 9:41but she is the youngest. It's trying to get something here because she's
- 9:43now do we know for sure she's the youngest who's trying to get something here?
- 9:50No, I'm pretty sure. Can we get our checkers on that.
- 9:52I think Kylie might have the youngest, like a baby brand or something.
- 10:00But Northwest made this announcement yesterday, and I want to album elementary school job.
- 10:11She's ten. She is gonna be releasing an album. I'm just not
- 10:16here for it. I'm not No, I'm not going to listen to a
- 10:18ten year old's rap album. Sorry, I just all of it. It
- 10:22just is icky to me. I feel like Kim and Kanye are using their
- 10:26kid as a ploy getting after each other. I mean, the fact she
- 10:30is doing elementary school dropout. While he's trying to get her to get out
- 10:33of school. It's like he wants her to drop out. I feel like
- 10:35the only reason she's doing it is because of the name, you know what
- 10:39I mean, Like because he had college dropout. Like they're like, oh
- 10:41no, the funny, Oh you don't think she's actually trying to drop out
- 10:43of school. And I think the idea came first, and then they're like,
- 10:46well, I guess you gotta make a rap album. Then I don't
- 10:48know. It's like when somebody finds a really good name for a baby and
- 10:52they weren't going to have a baby, but then they do only because they
- 10:54want to name it that name. It's like that, do you know people
- 10:58who have done that? Oh yeah, we're thinking about doing it. And
- 11:01Amanda in the morning on SIG seven, Well, well, well it's about
- 11:09time all you desirable men out there revealed your secret. What makes you so
- 11:15desirable? Now, obviously it's not a secret that you've got to be like
- 11:20physically attractive, right, that's kind of number work, right, Yeah.
- 11:22Usually, I mean I don't know the ladies. I feel like we go
- 11:26for personality and humor. Well, these things are the secrets that make a
- 11:28man even more desirable, such as Amanda. They have what they call mystery
- 11:35wrapped in confidence. It's like a book you can't put down with enough confidence
- 11:41to make you want to read every page. Wow, yes, mystery wrapped
- 11:46in confidence. You gotta have a little mystery, you know. Sometimes less
- 11:48is more when you're just meeting somebody, like you know, keep it a
- 11:52little vague. Don't tell them what you do for work or where, or
- 11:56how old you are. Some may go red flag alert kind of super like
- 12:00a little you think there's something sexy about Like, I don't really know much
- 12:03about this guy at all. No, I think in twenty twenty four,
- 12:07I want your full resume, your social Security number, background check or anything.
- 12:13But yeah, okay, Now the secret of very desirable men they have
- 12:18emotional intelligence, not just muscle. Oh totally. Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes
- 12:24you get a dumb dumb emotionally and it's like, yeah, exactly. They
- 12:31have passion beyond the romantic. Of course, some romantic passion is always welcome.
- 12:35What would be what am I missing? What else would be passion?
- 12:39Life goals? Oh dive, I know they're really into right over my head
- 12:45pickleball or yeah, passionate about something. Yeah, what is Nick's greatest passion
- 12:52other than you and the kid? Come on, No, he is.
- 12:56He's very passionate about sports. He's very passed. Has any woman ever been
- 13:01attracted by that? Because I feel like, and I love sports, I
- 13:05wish it was you know what I mean, But like, i feel like
- 13:05most guys really like sports, and I've never heard a woman go like,
- 13:09oh, I was with a football guy man who wasn't into sports, and
- 13:15it was very weird to me that I was the one that was more into
- 13:18it, you know what I mean, and that it threw me off.
- 13:20I mean, they grew to kind of like it, that kind of thing,
- 13:22but I'm like, are you just liking this team or this because of
- 13:26me? And then it feels a little weird, feels phony, yes,
- 13:30but okay. For instance, like Lauren, she was not a fan of
- 13:33the Packers until she met you. My wife was a Vikings fan. Of
- 13:37course, I'm a Bison fan because I'm from here. I'm always rooting for
- 13:39them, but I've become an Iowa State fan because we watched them all the
- 13:45time. So you're rooting for them, you know, But that's your type.
- 13:48Some women probably hate it. They hate the idea of a big,
- 13:50dumb sports guy. They want somebody who reads I don't know, Russian literature.
- 13:56Well, that would be kind of an interesting situation Russian literature that,
- 14:05but also just like more of an intellectual man, like I have a friend
- 14:07who's you know, her husband reads a lot does all Like, I've never
- 14:13been with a guy that's doing that. What would you do if you came
- 14:16home and Nick was just nose deep in a book, I'd be like,
- 14:20what you read? Yeah? What are you reading? Man? The other
- 14:22night, Laurena and I and we don't do this a lot, so it's
- 14:24noteworthy. We just turned the TV off and we each grabbed a book and
- 14:28I put on a little book reading playlist, some nice piano, and we
- 14:33just read. Nick and I have been talking about this, so he brought
- 14:37home a book the other day and I started kind of reading it at night,
- 14:41and I've only gotten through like four or five pages, just because the
- 14:43kids were usually reading their stories. But it was one of those moments I'm
- 14:46like, we what don't we read? And he made a comment to me,
- 14:48goes, ever since I met you, I really stopped reading. I'm
- 14:50like, I don't know what that says about me, Like you can still
- 14:54read. I mean, I think, why read a book when you can
- 15:00horse round? Because that's what's going on. You're right, You're right,
- 15:03all right. Another secret trade of desirable man. They have humor, which
- 15:09has been known to be called the universal aphrodisiac. Yeah, I humor is
- 15:13my favorite. Oh yeah it is. I mean you have to laugh your
- 15:18way through relationships, friendships, all of that. So you got two good
- 15:22looking guys, one very funny, the other in a fantasy football league?
- 15:28Which one? Are you taking? A funny guy? Yeah? But the
- 15:31fantasy thing that's sexy too, right, fantasy football league? Yeah? No.
- 15:35See, now that's where it's like when you're that sports guy. I'm
- 15:39tapping out. What if he's the commissioner of the league. Is that do
- 15:41anything for you? How many leagues? Well? Just one? He really
- 15:46needs to focus on, just the one. No, I'm gonna go humor.
- 15:50Really yeah, I'm sorry, Well, what's your what's your league name?
- 15:54That might share that you're kind of funny too. I can't say that
- 15:56here. Then you're funny like a minute in the morning on Big Honey eight
- 16:03point seven. You know, it's great make an extra money. Who doesn't
- 16:10want to make a few extra bucks? Look at you with the side hustles.
- 16:11I feel like you bring this up and it makes me go, gosh,
- 16:14how many times do I tell you I need to find a side hustle?
- 16:18Well, you could do any of these, and these are weird side
- 16:21hustles. We put a list together of the weirdest ways you can make extra
- 16:25money, all right, actually okay, and a lot of them are pooh
- 16:26related. Just a warning, trigger warning if you're triggered by Pooh Pooh,
- 16:32for example, maybe I might already be tapped out on this, but listen,
- 16:36hear me out. You know you can sell your pooh, and I'm
- 16:38not kidding. Here's what you do. There are studies, There are researchers
- 16:42out there, similar to how like I'll donate plasma every once in a while.
- 16:45Yeah, it'd be the same thing, except replace plasma with pooh.
- 16:49You got it? Okay, So so I'm collecting it and yeah, you
- 16:53send it in. But basically, there are some restrictions. They're going to
- 16:56be looking for people like in a very certain age range, and depending on
- 17:00what study they're doing, you might have to have a certain condition like be
- 17:03diabetic or something like that. Okay, so don't have that probably, well
- 17:07you don't know. I'm just saying it's possible. Yeah, but imagine if
- 17:11you do happen to have what they're looking for. They say it can pay
- 17:14up to fifteen hundred bucks a month. Yeah, I would have no issue
- 17:17doing that. Would it be gross? Yeah? But for fifteen hundred bucks
- 17:19take it another little weird side hustle. You could be a line standard.
- 17:25Apparently there are rich people out there paying people to wait in line, depending
- 17:29on like, let's say the new Yeezies are coming out. I don't have
- 17:33patience. I don't think I have enough patience for something like that, especially
- 17:36if it was what I mean, what's it going? Right? Well,
- 17:38I mean it just depends name your price. It's rich people, so you
- 17:41know, yeah, okay, okay, that one's not for you. No,
- 17:45what about this one selling your underwear? Apparently there is a market for
- 17:49used unwashed underwear. Now it doesn't say what the purchaser is doing with it,
- 17:56but that's something you're just gonna probably want to not think about. But
- 18:00there's a legitimate online market for unwashed underwear. And that's the rate of roughly
- 18:08They don't say a price, but it's something I guess it's probably you name.
- 18:11You're going to throw them away anyway? Yeah, exactly. Now if
- 18:15you're actually curious, the site has called all things worn all right, maybe
- 18:19my socks. It'd be fun. Somebody's got to be into some nasty socks.
- 18:26Socks? Are you kidding me? Honestly, been on my feet all
- 18:30day long? Who wants some? Maybe if I leave a voice message like
- 18:33that, they'll be real excited. There you go. You're like a step
- 18:37away from only fans based on what you just describe it. That and then
- 18:41the number one weird side hustle wait for you to make some money. And
- 18:45honestly, I had this thought yesterday. I think you could legitimately make money,
- 18:48especially right now being a pooper scooper. Oh, there's ah is it.
- 18:53There's a bunch of boys around our neighborhood. It's the dog Pooh crew.
- 18:57Really, I think it's what they're idea. Yes, I actually just
- 19:02saw it on a group that I am in in our neighborhood and they go
- 19:06around. Some of them put like things on the door or whatever. But
- 19:07yeah, they're they're pooper scoop brilliant idea, boys, Because yeah, we're
- 19:11walking around yesterday, as I imagine a lot of people were enjoying the weather.
- 19:14It took a long walk through some neighborhoods and people's yards as the snow
- 19:18has melted, Not that there was really any ever anyway, but you're seeing
- 19:21the pool a lot of Oh my god, some of these yards. It's
- 19:23like fifty percent pooh. We did a little pooper scooper pick up about a
- 19:27month ago, and we were gonna do it yesterday but we didn't get around
- 19:30to it. But yeah, it's amazing how quick it goes. How much
- 19:33would you charge? How much would you pay for somebody to take care of
- 19:36that completely? Like what thirty bucks? Is that crazy? Because it wouldn't
- 19:38take very much. I want to say, I want to say that's what
- 19:41they are charging. It's like thirty bucks. I don't know if it's like
- 19:45for twenty minutes to do it or if it is hang on, I'm also
- 19:48based on time smart that or it's the Uh, they're really just dilly the
- 19:52dog Pooh crew got poop we scoop So it's so good. I was thinking
- 19:59to be like pikes poop Ooh, look they've got a bunch of different special
- 20:03packages. Are saying that either right, Oh did they pay for an advertisement?
- 20:07No they did not. I'm just telling you that there's sounds like you
- 20:10might be endorsing the poop crew. No, no, do you know who
- 20:12my poop crew is? Sydney and Briggs trending. Now here's what you need
- 20:18to know. Well, this is very exciting news. For the first time
- 20:22in history NDSU women's basketball, they have moved on to the championship for the
- 20:29Summit League. Isn't this fantastic? They beat Oral Roberts yesterday, so today
- 20:33they play at three point thirty against rivals South Dakota State. They're down in
- 20:38Sioux Falls, but just very exciting. That's great. Took down Oral Roberts.
- 20:41Now is that a name of a guy? Uh, you know,
- 20:45I'm not sure. Maybe give that a peek. I don't know. Here,
- 20:48let me just google Oral and see what comes up. There, you
- 20:51go, see what it's all about. I'm really excited for him though,
- 20:56I really know. That's great and they win this one. They're automatically in
- 21:00the Big Dance, the NCAA Tournament. I love it. Yesterday blowing up
- 21:03social media, it is coming back Happy Joe's. I'm like, I thought
- 21:08that was dead in the water. I would have never thought that this was
- 21:11a franchise that was gonna be revived. You know, we always talk about
- 21:15places that would be reopening or doing but somebody else decided it was worth their
- 21:19money to open a new friend. I didn't realize it was a franchise.
- 21:22I thought it was a local mom and pop shop. I thought Joe lived
- 21:25in Edgewood, you know, now that you say that, I kind of
- 21:27thought that, But I I just assumed somebody was gonna revive it with like
- 21:32those recipes and doing whatever. We still have no other details like when they're
- 21:36gonna do it or where it's gonna go. It better be, like I
- 21:38said, Happy Joe's, just from the nostalgia. It can't be. Don't
- 21:41make it some new fancy building. I don't want it to have that new
- 21:45building smell, like in West Fargo or something. Make it in North Fargo
- 21:49or somewhere, you know, some somewhere sort of it's we'll call it established.
- 21:52She and I'm like the opposite. I'm like, come out to like
- 21:55Horace or something like that. You know, it'd be nice. We like
- 21:59things way out there. He Isn't there two restaurants in Horace? There is,
- 22:03and there's like two hundred new homes, so we gotta we gotta keep
- 22:06building. You get chill out there, Okay, okay, Dad, the
- 22:11Horace. I remember, you're just upset because yesterday, oh my gosh,
- 22:15where there's some big moves in the NFL. First of all, of course,
- 22:18Viking fans, Kirk Cousins, he's out of here. He signed with
- 22:21the Falcons, four year deal contract, forty five million dollars a year.
- 22:27Be nice, Cousins. You gotta put food on the table, Yes,
- 22:32very much so. And now in coming in will be Sam Darnold, the
- 22:34Vikings signed. And that's a terrible quarterback that will not get you anywhere.
- 22:38But hey, you'll probably draft one. I did just see though that.
- 22:41Not to get too much into the chok talk. No, this is Aaron
- 22:45Jones, Packers running back. Formerly they released him yesterday. I'm a big
- 22:48Packer fan. Aaron Jones not only a great player, but one of the
- 22:52best humans. A lot of people really sad to see him going. I
- 22:55just saw that. Of all the other thirty one teams, guess who is
- 22:59ap to sign Aaron Jones Today, the Minnesota Vices, let's win this for
- 23:04you. I believe they call those sloppy seconds. I don't know. I
- 23:11mean, it seems like the Vikings know what they're doing. With all their
- 23:15storied success over the years, it does seem like they know what they're doing.
- 23:18All right, Sunshine, Today, I have about sixty which is going
- 23:22to be beautiful. Pike, get a Manda in the morning, come on,
- 23:25get up on dig. Sorry if I sound a little rough, I
- 23:29am a little sick. Well, this guy, though, he woke up
- 23:32with a little tickle in his throat, as you do many days. I
- 23:34must be sick or I was at a concert or something of the sort,
- 23:37so his his voice is very horse all right, Okay, this guys start
- 23:41talking a horse. He's like, well, I just must be sick.
- 23:44Well, days go by, nothing's getting better, so he thought, well,
- 23:45I better go check this thing out. So he's examining his throat.
- 23:48You ever do your own throat examination? Uh? The closest I get is
- 23:52like gargling with saltwater and doing like, uh, like that kind of thing
- 23:56soun exam. Yeah, but I say, like, grab the flashlight on
- 23:59your phone and look get your little gobbler back there. No, well I
- 24:02don't actually, oh, you don't have to pay for the doctor. Sorry,
- 24:07I'm not looking at my gobblin. Just look at your own gob got
- 24:10it? Got it? Well, this man went into the doctor and what
- 24:12they found, Amanda, was that he was not sick. He had a
- 24:17six centimeter long leech sucking blood from his sight. Leech. Yeah, wow,
- 24:23big long leech in his throat. Imagine just running the length of his
- 24:29throat from Oh gosh, that is sucker sucker at the top, which is
- 24:33he could see just the slightest little brown something in the back of his throat.
- 24:37Oh that's so gross. Oh you had a weird little voice that you
- 24:42are? You sure man that you don't have something to get your throat and
- 24:45pots of it in the morning. Sometimes you just gotta tip your cap like
- 24:52if I had a cap on right now, You got a cap on,
- 24:52We both do. Hey, let's tip through the headphones, all right.
- 24:57So students at a school at and caught cheating. I don't like it.
- 25:02I'm not tipping my hat to cheating. Pike, not doing it really,
- 25:04because I don't know what it is. I feel like you were the one
- 25:07in school that was okay. So remember I had test anxiety. Oh that's
- 25:10right. So I'd go into school early to take the test because I was
- 25:15the girl. Whenever people were taking tests and you were the opposite, you'd
- 25:18be the first one done with the test, and I'd be the girl like,
- 25:21oh my gosh, I'm still only on number three, and I would
- 25:23just like read for some reason, I would read the question wouldn't process.
- 25:27I'd be so worried about everybody around me that I would just start filling in
- 25:32bubbles like in the movie. You know what helps with that studying? I
- 25:36mean yes, but still it just it was a thing, all right.
- 25:40Well, these kids, Amanda, they were in the actual classroom taking their
- 25:42test, big test, big big test apparently, And so of course there's
- 25:45no phones, there's no device, there's no way of cheating possible. Are
- 25:48you sure, because I do remember writing it on my you like write a
- 25:53couple of little things, So there was a couple of times, you know,
- 25:56you might write a little raskot or two. Well, these kids apparently
- 26:00hired friends and family to somehow get the correct answers, and then they had
- 26:07to because this classroom is on like the second or third story. They scaled
- 26:11the building and so they got up to the window of the classroom and snuck
- 26:14in the correct answers that were then dispersed to the students. Now, obviously
- 26:18this is the outside. From the outside, you might be wondering, Hey,
- 26:21why is there a bunch of people standing on top of each other galing
- 26:23the side of our school. That seems suspicious. So they've been busted that
- 26:27that seems suspicious. But also what family and friends are going to do?
- 26:30This? Good ones? This is supportive one. Now it is crazy.
- 26:34We had this one classroom. One of my favorite classes I ever had was
- 26:37eighth grade science legendary teacher over in Dilworth, Dean Calso not there anymore,
- 26:42but he would in the classroom when we were taking a big test. He
- 26:45would like leave almost like you were testing us. So he would walk out
- 26:49the door, and we caught onto this. And so the second the door
- 26:52latch shut, somebody would just from the top start going one C, two
- 26:59B, you know, and just naming all the answers, and then he
- 27:02would come back like nothing happened. He knew he knew or not, but
- 27:06he never said anything. Yeah, you just wonder if some teachers kind of
- 27:08Eh, you know this is going to be a tough one, and I'll
- 27:11let you. I'll trust your kids. I guess easier to grade when everyone
- 27:15has the same answers. I know what he's doing.
