- 0:11leopard said to the crane, there is no reason why you and I should
- 0:15not be friends. Why not come together some day and have a good heart
- 0:19to heart talk. But the crane had his doubts about the sincerity of the
- 0:23leopard and would not fall in with his proposal. Later on, however,
- 0:28the leopard succeeded in arranging a meeting between them. At this meeting, the
- 0:33crane was seated on the branch of a tree. While the leopard was talking,
- 0:37he amused himself by pulling out some of his superfluous feathers and throwing them
- 0:42on the ground with great eagerness. The leopard picked up the feathers and plucked
- 0:47them to pieces. When the crane saw this, he drew his own conclusions,
- 0:52and he said to the leopard, if you already treat my feathers this
- 0:56way, what would happen if I myself came near you. You are the
- 1:00last one I would choose for a friend. Better try your cunning on some
- 1:03one else. And he flew away. And left the leopard to himself.
