- 0:00Speaker 1: They win the gold medal for poopy water. It's one
- 0:02Speaker 1: more thing.
- 0:04Speaker 2: I'm strong, one more thing.
- 0:12Speaker 3: I coabra, coabra, sit you carrying up this show so
- 0:31Speaker 3: that ja ja they both go old mess. You got
- 0:41Speaker 3: to suppleming diva diva? Did you know about that?
- 0:47Speaker 4: Was?
- 0:47Speaker 3: Indeed shop up each.
- 0:50Speaker 1: That's one happy frenchman right there. That's a French play
- 0:54Speaker 1: by play, play by play of some French dude winning
- 0:57Speaker 1: his fourth judo gold, sixth medal overall. I don't know
- 0:59Speaker 1: if they just take judo very seriously in France. Crowd went, well,
- 1:03Speaker 1: I guess I see that.
- 1:04Speaker 3: You know you're judeo.
- 1:06Speaker 5: Well he does, that is one of the judges there.
- 1:09Speaker 5: You know, there are a couple of like combat sports
- 1:12Speaker 5: sea things that I thought sounded interesting. I was watching
- 1:15Speaker 5: Saturday after playing a little golf and and I just
- 1:18Speaker 5: I turned onto one and not much happened and nobody
- 1:22Speaker 5: really got hit or anything, and I went over to
- 1:25Speaker 5: the wrestling, and wrestling is a very demanding sport. Yeah,
- 1:30Speaker 5: you got to be in spectacular condition, very strong, very quick.
- 1:34Speaker 5: There are all sorts of techniques and counter techniques to watch.
- 1:38Speaker 5: But if you have two championship wrestlers. A lot of
- 1:40Speaker 5: it's really really boring because a lot of it's guys
- 1:44Speaker 5: like making a gam but to go for a leg
- 1:46Speaker 5: or something like that, but the other guy knows exactly
- 1:48Speaker 5: what to do defend it off. So they spend two
- 1:50Speaker 5: and a half hours, two and a half minutes like
- 1:53Speaker 5: circling each other and like reaching but not grasping, and
- 1:56Speaker 5: nothing happens for.
- 1:57Speaker 1: A long Yeah, you have to be into it, Like
- 1:59Speaker 1: I wrestled, so I'm more I get more enjoyment out
- 2:02Speaker 1: of it. But it's just like how I don't enjoy
- 2:04Speaker 1: soccer because nothing happens in my opinion, because I don't
- 2:07Speaker 1: know anything about soccer.
- 2:08Speaker 5: It's a lot like that, although I don't know soccer.
- 2:12Speaker 5: You have a brilliant passing, you move it off the field,
- 2:14Speaker 5: do you get close enough to get an opportunity, but
- 2:16Speaker 5: you didn't actually get the shots? See that to me
- 2:19Speaker 5: is exciting.
- 2:20Speaker 1: That's more exciting than two squatty guys pushing against each
- 2:23Speaker 1: other for three minutes.
- 2:24Speaker 5: Well, a guy reaching for another guy's like in missing
- 2:26Speaker 5: that took up a tenth of a second.
- 2:29Speaker 1: You know, I watched We watched a bunch of sports
- 2:32Speaker 1: on Friday, weightlifting, as I mentioned the women's snatch and
- 2:37Speaker 1: the men's clean and jerk horrible names. We watched some
- 2:42Speaker 1: table tennis. I don't even I don't have the slightest
- 2:46Speaker 1: comprehension how that anybody can react as fast as those
- 2:49Speaker 1: people react.
- 2:51Speaker 5: It's magnificent. If you've ever played ping pong or table tennis,
- 2:55Speaker 5: these people are just spect man.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The Asians got it going on with the table tennis. Yeah,
- 2:59Speaker 1: they did play, but the way they like. We watched
- 3:03Speaker 1: the duos against each other, doubles or whatever. Oh, the doubles. Yeah,
- 3:08Speaker 1: and the woman and I mean, she would toss the
- 3:11Speaker 1: ball so high and then she wouldn't move in it
- 3:14Speaker 1: and come down, and that you just all of a
- 3:15Speaker 1: sudden hit it. Really because I guess, as one of
- 3:18Speaker 1: the announcers said, because I don't know anything about elite
- 3:21Speaker 1: level table tennis. Uh, table tennis at that level is
- 3:24Speaker 1: all about deception. That's the whole thing, because everybody can
- 3:28Speaker 1: react to everything that fast, I guess, So you have
- 3:31Speaker 1: to fool them. And then the other person when they served,
- 3:35Speaker 1: they would they would hold the ball like an inch
- 3:38Speaker 1: off the table and they'd put their face down by
- 3:40Speaker 1: it and they'd kind of smile Suddeny'd hit.
- 3:43Speaker 5: It right, and it was just so you tried to
- 3:45Speaker 5: disguise the spin you're putting on it, because that's the
- 3:47Speaker 5: only way to get somebody to miss.
- 3:49Speaker 1: Yeah. I don't know. I found that fascinating for like
- 3:52Speaker 1: five minutes also because it's just okay, Yeah, I couldn't
- 3:56Speaker 1: even tell who won the point, I mean until he
- 3:58Speaker 1: told me because everything was happening so fast. It's probably
- 4:01Speaker 1: my eyesight, but like hockey, I was like, where is
- 4:03Speaker 1: the ball? Right, I'm not sure there's a ball there.
- 4:05Speaker 1: I think it's a ruse. Yeah, we're just moving their
- 4:08Speaker 1: paddals around and then three to one. You ever run
- 4:10Speaker 1: into a ping pong table running full speed trying to
- 4:12Speaker 1: hit that thing?
- 4:13Speaker 5: It hurts.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I've done that.
- 4:14Speaker 1: I have not, Yeah, I had to, says I have.
- 4:16Speaker 1: Is it a common thing?
- 4:18Speaker 4: What?
- 4:18Speaker 1: No, it's just if you're not coordinated like me trying to,
- 4:22Speaker 1: you know, get the ball.
- 4:24Speaker 5: Yeah. Wow. No, I don't recall ever injuring myself, do
- 4:27Speaker 5: you hit yourself in the face with the paddle sometimes?
- 4:29Speaker 5: Do No?
- 4:30Speaker 1: I was just diving over trying to do you ever
- 4:32Speaker 1: do you ever jab yourself in the eye with a fork?
- 4:35Speaker 3: I've done that.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Yeah, did you end up on the table like curled
- 4:38Speaker 1: up in the net? Was it like a whole thing?
- 4:40Speaker 2: No?
- 4:40Speaker 5: Not that?
- 4:44Speaker 1: All right, never mind, Here's my favorite Olympic moment from
- 4:47Speaker 1: the weekend.
- 4:48Speaker 3: Up ahead for a hooker exclamation point. He's a bad boy,
- 4:54Speaker 3: Night night.
- 4:57Speaker 5: Stiff.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Curry's ridiculous shot over Wemby, who's not and a half
- 5:00Speaker 1: feet tall with his arms outstretched. That I don't know
- 5:03Speaker 1: if you've seen the poster of that. That somebody got
- 5:06Speaker 1: a really good picture from the side. It's just ridiculous.
- 5:09Speaker 1: I don't know how Steph Curry made the decision in
- 5:12Speaker 1: a millionth of a second. I'm gonna go ahead and
- 5:14Speaker 1: shoot it anyway, but I got a lobbit really high
- 5:19Speaker 1: to get over his outstretch arm and it's still winning.
- 5:21Speaker 1: It's just it's a ridiculous shot. Yeah, it was almost ridiculous.
- 5:26Speaker 1: As I said, for like the entire history of basketball,
- 5:29Speaker 1: anybody taking that shot would be chewed out by their coach.
- 5:32Speaker 4: What are you doing?
- 5:33Speaker 5: Get somebody who's got a real shot. But of course,
- 5:36Speaker 5: because it's Steph Curry tickles the twine.
- 5:38Speaker 1: I've watched him play and I always am asking myself.
- 5:41Speaker 5: Was that skill or was that luck?
- 5:43Speaker 1: He does it too often obviously for it to be luck.
- 5:45Speaker 1: But that was closer to Harlem Globetrotters than NBA.
- 5:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that shot, well, he shoots for hours every single day.
- 5:53Speaker 1: So did that announcer say he's a bad boy? Yeah, okay,
- 5:57Speaker 1: that was odd and uh, I didn't like the Uh
- 6:04Speaker 1: it wasn't taunting his showboating. I didn't like the showboating,
- 6:07Speaker 1: but that's what people like in modern sports. So I
- 6:10Speaker 1: just need to grow up.
- 6:11Speaker 5: And did you see your hero Lebron James snubbing that
- 6:15Speaker 5: poor little child.
- 6:16Speaker 1: I've heard about this, but I don't know anything about it.
- 6:18Speaker 1: What happens a jerk? My hero?
- 6:22Speaker 5: He gets out of this limo and uh, and his
- 6:25Speaker 5: security is there, and this kid says Lebron and wanted
- 6:30Speaker 5: to take a selfie with him or something. Lebron goes
- 6:32Speaker 5: get get back, get back, get away from me, and
- 6:35Speaker 5: security comes and physically moves the kid back, and Lebron
- 6:38Speaker 5: goes around and then starts dancing into the club with
- 6:40Speaker 5: a glass with a bottle of champagne in his hands.
- 6:43Speaker 5: And wow, I mean all he had to do was
- 6:46Speaker 5: rub the kid's head and say thanks buddy or whatever.
- 6:48Speaker 5: Wave Adam Bonoa's Get Back, Get Away from Me.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Kid was maybe eleven years old like that. Yeah, that
- 6:55Speaker 2: was I hate that guy. I'm sorry, I just oh
- 6:57Speaker 2: I do. Do you want to have a club Katie? Yeah?
- 7:03Speaker 1: Uh, here's some singing at the Olympics. What do we
- 7:06Speaker 1: want the national anthem first? Or Snoop first? Let's go
- 7:08Speaker 1: to national anthem first. I don't know h E R
- 7:11Speaker 1: which spells her. I don't really know where they act
- 7:13Speaker 1: that much, but this is Michael said, this is pretty good.
- 7:16Speaker 1: We'll do some of it because it's two and a
- 7:17Speaker 1: half minutes long. What's you know? What's good about this
- 7:40Speaker 1: so far?
- 7:41Speaker 5: Dudes?
- 7:42Speaker 1: It's kind of a traditional rendering, which I liked.
- 7:48Speaker 4: Who's b.
- 7:51Speaker 1: Okay? So that's her slowish look for hers act wherever
- 7:55Speaker 1: you find your music.
- 7:56Speaker 5: If she were in my living room, I think we
- 8:00Speaker 5: could have an interesting conversation about the ups and downs
- 8:02Speaker 5: and challenges of the business she's in. But I couldn't
- 8:05Speaker 5: give a crap about one pop star or another. But
- 8:08Speaker 5: a lovely singing voice, that's fine.
- 8:10Speaker 4: Uh.
- 8:11Speaker 1: Meanwhile, another singer rapper, this is Snoop do O double
- 8:17Speaker 1: G at the Olympic party.
- 8:21Speaker 5: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. Can I have clarification? First?
- 8:25Speaker 1: Does he love them whores or not?
- 8:30Speaker 5: That's going way way back.
- 8:35Speaker 4: Sun ball battomball game berningta dp g s you should
- 8:39Speaker 4: be turning data CBT. You'll bet yeh.
- 8:41Speaker 1: We hook him back up.
- 8:42Speaker 4: And when they gang this in the club, you got
- 8:44Speaker 4: to get oh the love homies going homies.
- 8:46Speaker 1: Jaday gave data monpe yoke. Will we dida taking cha
- 8:51Speaker 1: the show? The updi b was?
- 8:54Speaker 4: She grew up in that back do take booking at
- 8:56Speaker 4: me strength? But you know what a kios step up
- 8:58Speaker 4: in his mother's just as way about? Iould tell me, well,
- 9:02Speaker 4: that sounds like Snoop doing his thing, which he's really
- 9:05Speaker 4: good at. He's not as old as I thought. I
- 9:07Speaker 4: just asked Siria how old Snoop is? He's fifty two?
- 9:10Speaker 4: What does he look seventy two? I thought that we
- 9:13Speaker 4: were supposed to make.
- 9:14Speaker 1: You more relaxed. I get aged him. Doesn't he look
- 9:18Speaker 1: older than fifty two?
- 9:19Speaker 5: He does? You know, if Snoop Dogg were in them
- 9:22Speaker 5: in the room, I would want to talk to him
- 9:25Speaker 5: all day about.
- 9:27Speaker 1: He got a rival gang. You want to pop a
- 9:29Speaker 1: cap in No, No, I don't. I absolutely yeah.
- 9:32Speaker 5: The other foursome the other day at the golf course
- 9:35Speaker 5: made me very angry. No, no, I would love to
- 9:41Speaker 5: talk to him about entrepreneurialism and the way he sees
- 9:45Speaker 5: markets and audiences and business opportunities. He's just he's got
- 9:48Speaker 5: an instinct for that that a lot of people do.
- 9:51Speaker 5: But I just find it so interesting people who see
- 9:54Speaker 5: opportunities everywhere and are are really aggressive about pursuing.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Ah ye, ask him, what kind of gat you need?
- 9:59Speaker 1: I somebody gives you a hard look.
- 10:02Speaker 5: I think I'm up on that. I couldn't know how
- 10:06Speaker 5: to shoot people.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Yes, just to say how tall he is. I have
- 10:11Speaker 1: never realized that he was that tall until us I'm
- 10:13Speaker 1: standing next to people.
- 10:14Speaker 2: There you go.
- 10:14Speaker 1: He's most younger and taller than we all thought. That's
- 10:16Speaker 1: our analysis of Snoop Dogg. Snoop Dogg full of surprise.
- 10:25Speaker 1: And he was making what we hear, a half million
- 10:27Speaker 1: dollars a day with NBC for two weeks at day.
- 10:30Speaker 1: So yeah, if he did that the whole time, which
- 10:32Speaker 1: I think he did, that's seven million dollars by my math.
- 10:35Speaker 1: I know he was driving some people nuts, Joe, but
- 10:38Speaker 1: he was.
- 10:39Speaker 2: He was one of the most entertaining parts of that
- 10:41Speaker 2: him singing gin and Juice to the horses during the
- 10:44Speaker 2: question he ran one of the events like, oh.
- 10:47Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm uh yeah again. It's not that I have
- 10:51Speaker 5: any problem with him per se. It's just he is
- 10:55Speaker 5: the U two of the twenty twenties. He's just ubiquitous.
- 10:58Speaker 5: He's everywhere, He's on everything. That's fine.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Is there anything like that currently that would be like edgy, dangerous,
- 11:07Speaker 1: controversial that twenty years from now will be as mainstream
- 11:11Speaker 1: as tiede detergent like Snoop is. I'm trying to think
- 11:15Speaker 1: of something that's if oj was still alive.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Maybe I'm not super up on like cutting edge pop
- 11:23Speaker 5: culture to anybody, but it's just I mean, the the
- 11:27Speaker 5: not rehabilitation, but just the the change of Snoop is
- 11:31Speaker 5: just it is.
- 11:32Speaker 1: He's on CBS with Hoda. I mean that's I mean,
- 11:35Speaker 1: that is like as non cool, cutting edge hip as
- 11:38Speaker 1: you can get. But I got it.
- 11:40Speaker 5: I got it, taking the place of William Devane selling
- 11:44Speaker 5: me gold on Fox News. James Hetfield of Metallica, I
- 11:50Speaker 5: tell you what, As I've moved into my golden years,
- 11:52Speaker 5: I've realized the importance of diversifying my portfolio.
- 11:56Speaker 1: Right, I'm James Hetfield for Some and Gold Group. Pretty good.
- 12:04Speaker 5: Yeah, what's Tone Loke up to?
- 12:09Speaker 1: Well, I guess that's it.
- 12:13Speaker 5: Tone Loak good, Poler, Michael.
- 12:16Speaker 1: We jammed that in the car now and then
