Transcript
- 0:07Speaker 1: This episode is presented by Visa. Paying with Visa, that's
- 0:10Speaker 1: a pro move. What's going on guys? Chase Daniel here
- 0:14Speaker 1: and welcome into the first read. This is the Bussin'
- 0:17Speaker 1: with the Boys, Chase Daniel NFL recap show and we
- 0:20Speaker 1: are into week two and I am just excited about
- 0:24Speaker 1: this show. We have so much cool stuff planned. We're
- 0:27Speaker 1: just going to get right into the storyline of the
- 0:29Speaker 1: week and there's always different storylines for every NFL week.
- 0:33Speaker 1: The storyline of the week and God bless like The injuries,
- 0:37Speaker 1: the injury bug has hit two starting quarterbacks are out.
- 0:42Speaker 1: Caleb Williams, Jaden Daniels. I mean, Caleb Williams, I think
- 0:46Speaker 1: we're going to get good news. I do think we're
- 0:48Speaker 1: going to get good news. It was his hamstring. He
- 0:51Speaker 1: went down. It looked really bad. He wasn't having a
- 0:54Speaker 1: good game. We're going to get into that game here
- 0:57Speaker 1: a little later and break down exactly what we saw.
- 1:00Speaker 1: But I don't think it's as severe as we initially thought.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Jaden Daniels, too. Looks like he dislocated the exact same
- 1:08Speaker 1: elbow as he did last season. He was going down.
- 1:09Speaker 1: He put some, he put like some pressure on it
- 1:12Speaker 1: and it just, even Tom Brady who was calling the
- 1:14Speaker 1: game was, was, I mean, it's just, it's an awful
- 1:17Speaker 1: feeling as a quarterback when you get hurt. Um, if
- 1:20Speaker 1: he opts for surgery, it's probably a season ender commanders. Ah,
- 1:26Speaker 1: Not great. 0-2 so far to start the year. And
- 1:29Speaker 1: Marcus Mariota, he's a dog. Love him. Going to have
- 1:32Speaker 1: a tough go probably with David Blau, already 0-2 in
- 1:37Speaker 1: the division. X-rays showing no fractures. So we'll see. The
- 1:42Speaker 1: other one that was really scary, Jaden Reed, Packers, Jets.
- 1:45Speaker 1: He went off on a stretcher, obviously having a good year.
- 1:50Speaker 1: There's a Patriots offensive tackle who broke his leg. Alec
- 1:53Speaker 1: Pierce led the Sunday night game. Chargers tight end David
- 1:55Speaker 1: Njoku carted off. Mike Evans left the game with injury.
- 1:58Speaker 1: I mean, there's even more guys there. But this is
- 2:02Speaker 1: part of the game. People are going to have to
- 2:04Speaker 1: deal with it. There's going to be a lot of
- 2:05Speaker 1: backups playing. It's going to be interesting to see if,
- 2:08Speaker 1: specifically for the quarterbacks, Tyson Bajent is the Bears' backup quarterback.
- 2:13Speaker 1: And obviously, Marcus Marietta is Jaden Nails. The other storylines.
- 2:16Speaker 1: that's already getting a bunch of talk is, boy, there
- 2:20Speaker 1: are some surprising 2-0 teams and there are some surprising
- 2:24Speaker 1: 0-2 teams. Let's just start with the surprising 2-0 teams.
- 2:28Speaker 1: And that's right. We're going to talk about it. It's
- 2:29Speaker 1: the Chiefs. Everyone thought the Chiefs was dead. The Chiefs
- 2:32Speaker 1: is the Chiefs. They are back. Huge win Sunday night football.
- 2:35Speaker 1: We're going to get into that. The other one, too,
- 2:38Speaker 1: the Raiders. Like what Clint Kubiak, what he's been able
- 2:41Speaker 1: to do Awesome. Kirk Cousins took down the Chargers in L.A.
- 2:45Speaker 1: By the way, they also have their franchise quarterback there
- 2:48Speaker 1: under contract. Obviously, first-round pick. The other one, too. The
- 2:51Speaker 1: Minnesota Vikings. I thought they were a consensus pick to
- 2:55Speaker 1: be one of the worst teams in the NFC North.
- 2:58Speaker 1: And they start the year 2-0. And, oh, by the way,
- 3:01Speaker 1: it's Carson Wentz. And, oh, by the way, they went ugly.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Kyler Murray, I think, is going to get cleared for
- 3:06Speaker 1: next week. We'll see. They're super aggressive on defense. Haven't
- 3:09Speaker 1: made costly mistakes on the offensive side of the ball.
- 3:11Speaker 1: And then, I don't think this is surprising, but I
- 3:14Speaker 1: think that some of you might think it's surprising. 49ers.
- 3:18Speaker 1: I just don't think you guys understand how good Kyle
- 3:20Speaker 1: Shanahan is. A lot of people probably thought their window
- 3:23Speaker 1: had closed, especially considering the questions they had at offensive line.
- 3:26Speaker 1: We'll see what happens with Mike Evans. Let's get to
- 3:28Speaker 1: the 0-2 teams. Chargers. What in the world? We are
- 3:31Speaker 1: going to break them down. I mean, Justin Herbert, Mike McDaniel. Like,
- 3:36Speaker 1: this is... This is catastrophic. I mean, I live a
- 3:40Speaker 1: mile and a half up the road from there, and
- 3:43Speaker 1: they lost to the Cardinals, and they lost to the Raiders.
- 3:47Speaker 1: They were supposed to be 2-0 after those, not looking
- 3:50Speaker 1: good at all. Adam McConkie got injured. He got carted off,
- 3:53Speaker 1: or not carted off, but he walked off. He played
- 3:55Speaker 1: a little bit today, but he's banged up. The other one,
- 3:58Speaker 1: I think the most surprising one, is the Texans. Tough, tough.
- 4:03Speaker 1: First two games against the Bills and the Bengals. Everyone's
- 4:05Speaker 1: talking about this defense as all-world. Boy, it has not
- 4:09Speaker 1: lived up to the preseason hype. C.J. Stroud didn't play
- 4:12Speaker 1: too well, but hasn't played awful. We'll get into that
- 4:15Speaker 1: game as well. And then Commanders, look, even more bleak
- 4:17Speaker 1: with the Jaden Daniels injury. He had an insult to injury.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Like I said, they're 0-2 in the division, unlike the Texans.
- 4:23Speaker 1: It's the craziest start to the NFL season I've ever had.
- 4:27Speaker 1: All right, guys, as always... We're powered by America's number
- 4:31Speaker 1: one sportsbook, FanDuel. Tonight, we've got the Giants, the Rams,
- 4:35Speaker 1: and a ton of rewards from FanDuel. Here's how it works. First,
- 4:38Speaker 1: you'll bet tonight's game with your 30% profit boost, and
- 4:41Speaker 1: then you'll keep an eye on the field to see
- 4:43Speaker 1: what happens. If both score in the first half, you'll
- 4:45Speaker 1: get a 25% profit boost, and if any player goes
- 4:48Speaker 1: for 100 or more receiving yards, you get a 50%
- 4:51Speaker 1: profit boost. Pretty cool. If defense special teams score on
- 4:54Speaker 1: either side, I have a feeling they will, you'll walk
- 4:56Speaker 1: away with 100% profit boost, head to the app, make
- 5:01Speaker 1: this your most rewarding season ever for FanDuel. Let's just
- 5:06Speaker 1: dive right on in to the biggest games. Every week
- 5:11Speaker 1: we're going to have four to six games. We're going
- 5:14Speaker 1: to talk about a little bit more in depth and
- 5:15Speaker 1: we're going to recap what happens. And you know, you know,
- 5:20Speaker 1: we had to start with the Kansas City Chiefs and
- 5:23Speaker 1: the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts are 0-2, the Chiefs are
- 5:25Speaker 1: now 2-0 on the season. And when, last week, it
- 5:29Speaker 1: looked like the Chiefs were going to establish the run
- 5:32Speaker 1: before anything else. They ran five times in a row
- 5:35Speaker 1: to start the game last week. They ran it six
- 5:37Speaker 1: times the whole first half this week. Like, I thought
- 5:42Speaker 1: the Chiefs were going to be the Chiefs and just
- 5:44Speaker 1: hand it off. And then all of a sudden, Mahomes
- 5:46Speaker 1: looked like the old Mahomes. It's the best he's ever
- 5:49Speaker 1: looked in the last two games, or excuse me, in
- 5:51Speaker 1: the last two years. And his throws had some major,
- 5:55Speaker 1: major velocity on them. I'm just saying right now, Mahomes
- 5:59Speaker 1: is officially back. I'm calling it right now. I just
- 6:02Speaker 1: got done watching this game and the velocity on his
- 6:05Speaker 1: football is next level. Him and Travis Kelsey, they look
- 6:09Speaker 1: like they're old. Travis Kelsey looks like he can still
- 6:11Speaker 1: play a lot more. Here's what happened in the game though.
- 6:14Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes finished 32 of 47 for 382 yards and
- 6:17Speaker 1: three touchdowns. Has gone for over 350 yards and three
- 6:21Speaker 1: plus touchdowns one other time. Since 2022. That's what I'm
- 6:30Speaker 1: talking about. You're getting the old Mahomes back. It wasn't
- 6:33Speaker 1: just a, oh, run the football. Oh, it's a Kenneth
- 6:35Speaker 1: Walker show. These Chiefs are showing us that they can
- 6:38Speaker 1: win multiple different ways. Under center and shotgun. I love
- 6:44Speaker 1: the under center drop back that they're doing. It's great.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor on the other side had 75 rushing yards
- 6:50Speaker 1: in the first half. That Kansas City Chiefs defense, remember,
- 6:54Speaker 1: only held the Broncos in week one. They had 61
- 6:58Speaker 1: rushing yards the whole game versus Chiefs defense. So maybe
- 7:02Speaker 1: that is a little bit of a leaky defense. We'll
- 7:05Speaker 1: figure it out. Their secondary is playing a lot better.
- 7:09Speaker 1: And then most importantly, I just think so far, and
- 7:12Speaker 1: I hate to say MVP of the Chiefs, but he's
- 7:14Speaker 1: the MVP of the Chiefs. It's Kenneth Walker Jr. The
- 7:17Speaker 1: throw on third and one rolling to your left from
- 7:21Speaker 1: Patrick Mahomes. It's literally called slipper naked left. You're getting out.
- 7:25Speaker 1: You're slipping outside. You're bootlegging to the left. He had
- 7:28Speaker 1: to throw it over that guy. The one-handed catch. He
- 7:31Speaker 1: was carrying it like a loaf of bread. He just
- 7:34Speaker 1: brings such a different dynamic to the Chiefs' room. And
- 7:38Speaker 1: here's what I love about it. The Chiefs actually got him.
- 7:41Speaker 1: They didn't even pay that much for him. Like, they
- 7:43Speaker 1: paid $ 15- 60 million. The running back market now, the way
- 7:47Speaker 1: it has absolutely skyrocketed, I believe he is like 9th
- 7:52Speaker 1: or 10th highest paid back. So he is Absolutely a beast.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Jonathan Taylor, too, by the way, with the Colts. Look,
- 7:58Speaker 1: they're 0-2. Daniel Jones, I mean, that ending was crazy.
- 8:01Speaker 1: Was he down? Was he not to Treadwell? That throw
- 8:06Speaker 1: was unbelievable. He hit the tap in overtime. He tapped
- 8:10Speaker 1: his hip, but we were all texting with the boys,
- 8:13Speaker 1: and they're like, oh, this is a Mahomes classic. He's
- 8:15Speaker 1: going to go down there. He's going to win the game.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Of course he did. So what does this mean for
- 8:19Speaker 1: the Chiefs? 2-0 start, most importantly, and they have won
- 8:23Speaker 1: a game. Both games in completely different ways. We've talked
- 8:27Speaker 1: about it through the year of this game, on the
- 8:29Speaker 1: ground the other game. I love the fact that they
- 8:31Speaker 1: actually have a run game this year. It's a mark
- 8:33Speaker 1: of a good team to not only win a game
- 8:36Speaker 1: one way, but you can do it multiple different ways.
- 8:39Speaker 1: What this means for the Colts, man, it's a tough
- 8:41Speaker 1: two games to start the year, but Dano Jones has
- 8:44Speaker 1: looked good. Hopefully that Alec Pierce injury isn't serious, but
- 8:48Speaker 1: they are a tough team to beat in their run game.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I believe if Dano Jones doesn't make mistakes, will make
- 8:53Speaker 1: them better. Remember, it's only a 16% chance to make
- 8:57Speaker 1: the playoffs when you start 0-2. All right, let's get
- 9:01Speaker 1: in to the next game. Vikings 9, Bears 3. 12
- 9:05Speaker 1: total points scored in this game. And look, I tweeted
- 9:09Speaker 1: this earlier on Sunday. I thought that the weather, people
- 9:15Speaker 1: just don't understand how much of an issue the weather
- 9:19Speaker 1: is when you're sitting and you're playing in it. Because
- 9:22Speaker 1: People are like, oh, just go out there and play.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Just go out there and throw it. Look, the weather situation,
- 9:26Speaker 1: Caleb Williams obviously didn't play well, but the weather situation
- 9:30Speaker 1: was really bad. I don't think it had any effect
- 9:32Speaker 1: on Caleb Williams' injury, but if all you need to
- 9:35Speaker 1: know about anything in this game, it's that Caleb Williams
- 9:39Speaker 1: got hurt. And, man, it looked, honestly, it looked a
- 9:43Speaker 1: lot worse live because I saw it live. We were
- 9:46Speaker 1: on a plane coming back from Nashville. Shout-out Bustle the Boys.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Shout-out Paige Suckup, Ryan Suckup, their 40th birthday. We're watching
- 9:53Speaker 1: this on the plane, and I'm like, oh, my God,
- 9:54Speaker 1: he tore his ACL. Like, he just dropped. He was
- 9:57Speaker 1: scrambling to the left. They were about to score a touchdown.
- 9:59Speaker 1: He just dropped. and honestly, it was not a good thing.
- 10:02Speaker 1: Reports are saying it's a hamstring, which that's what I
- 10:05Speaker 1: was like. If it's a hamstring, look, as long as
- 10:07Speaker 1: it's not a crazy one, he's probably going to miss
- 10:09Speaker 1: some time. I do like Tyson Bajent. Tyson Bajent is
- 10:15Speaker 1: their backup quarterback. He's performed admirably. I think Casey Keenum
- 10:19Speaker 1: also is the number three quarterback. He could be in
- 10:21Speaker 1: the mix, but I do think Tyson has played really,
- 10:23Speaker 1: really well. He's excited for this. If you remember, he
- 10:27Speaker 1: was a guy who ended up like crying when he
- 10:30Speaker 1: got the deal. And I say that in all the
- 10:33Speaker 1: best way because like it just means he got like
- 10:35Speaker 1: a big deal. I think two year, $ 10 million deal.
- 10:37Speaker 1: It means a lot to him. Um, so top of
- 10:40Speaker 1: the line stats, let's just break down the game. Obviously
- 10:42Speaker 1: the Caleb Williams headline is going to be everywhere. I
- 10:44Speaker 1: hope he's okay. But the Vikings defense to me was dominant,
- 10:47Speaker 1: held the bears over three in the red zone. You
- 10:50Speaker 1: can't score. Uh, and it's hard for a backup to
- 10:52Speaker 1: get in there and to actually operate the offense at
- 10:55Speaker 1: the right, uh, manner because the backup quarterback doesn't get
- 10:59Speaker 1: any snaps. So you had two backup quarterbacks who had
- 11:01Speaker 1: barely taken snaps in the red zone. Windows are tired,
- 11:05Speaker 1: all that stuff. Um, Most importantly, had four sacks and
- 11:09Speaker 1: forced two turnovers. Let's go to the Vikings because they are,
- 11:14Speaker 1: and I said, they're probably the most surprising 2-0 team
- 11:17Speaker 1: that I've seen. Most importantly, Carson Wentz did not turn
- 11:19Speaker 1: the football over. He didn't make mistakes. There were some
- 11:22Speaker 1: crazy snaps early in the game, flying left and right,
- 11:24Speaker 1: but that was the difference in the game. The weather
- 11:27Speaker 1: was a factor in the game. As an offensive play caller,
- 11:29Speaker 1: you cannot just go into this game like it's a
- 11:32Speaker 1: sunny day. You can have the best game plan in
- 11:35Speaker 1: the world. You have to be able to fix it,
- 11:37Speaker 1: and you have to be able to turn on to
- 11:40Speaker 1: the next thing, and that's exactly what Kevin O'Connell did. Hey,
- 11:44Speaker 1: we're not going to throw it 100 times. J.J. Jefferson
- 11:48Speaker 1: looked amazing. Justin Jefferson looked amazing. Here's what's really interesting, too.
- 11:52Speaker 1: So the Vikings defensively, that's what's helping them. Obviously, Carson
- 11:56Speaker 1: played really well the first week, played pretty good this week.
- 11:58Speaker 1: The Viking blitzed 72% of the time in Packers dropbacks
- 12:02Speaker 1: in Week 1. Ben Johnson and Caleb Williams Week 1
- 12:06Speaker 1: versus the Panthers were extremely good against the blitz, so
- 12:09Speaker 1: I thought that would be it. Caleb went 9 for 14,
- 12:12Speaker 1: 142 yards, and 2 touchdowns versus the blitz in Carolina,
- 12:15Speaker 1: so I thought, hey, don't blitz. Not so fast. Brian
- 12:17Speaker 1: Flores said, you know what? We're going to blitz more
- 12:20Speaker 1: than that. First half, Brian Flores blitzed on 75% of
- 12:23Speaker 1: Caleb's dropbacks. Alright, what this means for The Minnesota Vikings,
- 12:27Speaker 1: they are 2-0 in the division. That looked really tough
- 12:30Speaker 1: before the season with how the Lions' defense is looking
- 12:34Speaker 1: and how the Packers' offense looks. It's putrid. We're going
- 12:37Speaker 1: to get into that game. Oh, it's like watching paint dry.
- 12:40Speaker 1: And now the Bears looking to be without Caleb Vikings.
- 12:43Speaker 1: We haven't even seen their starting quarterback, Kyler Murray, play.
- 12:47Speaker 1: They sit in the driver's seat in a very winnable
- 12:49Speaker 1: division all of a sudden. I thought it was going
- 12:50Speaker 1: to be one of the toughest. Not so much. What
- 12:52Speaker 1: it means for the loser... The Bears coming off the
- 12:56Speaker 1: highest of highs, 59 points, saying you're going to win
- 12:58Speaker 1: the Super Bowl and not wanting your season to be
- 13:01Speaker 1: over if Caleb is out for a season. I mean,
- 13:03Speaker 1: just completely separate. I think the whole season is going
- 13:06Speaker 1: to come down to can Tyson Bajent, can he play well?
- 13:10Speaker 1: Because Caleb probably will be out for an extended period.
- 13:12Speaker 1: And even when he gets back, he's not going to
- 13:14Speaker 1: be as Houdini in the pocket like he was in
- 13:16Speaker 1: week one. It's going to be tough. So I can't remember.
- 13:21Speaker 1: a more binary first two Sundays for our fan base
- 13:24Speaker 1: in recent memory. And we cover the Bears here a lot.
- 13:26Speaker 1: Just so many different emotions. All right, let's get on
- 13:30Speaker 1: to one of my favorite games of the day. Bengals-Texans.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Bengals 20, Texans 6. Texans, what are we doing? Look,
- 13:39Speaker 1: let's start with Joe Burrow and the Bengals, though. Burrow
- 13:41Speaker 1: got off to a slow start. May not have been 100%,
- 13:44Speaker 1: but the headline is, for me, that maybe the first
- 13:48Speaker 1: time In his entire career, his back's not going to
- 13:51Speaker 1: be hurt. No, not literally his back. He's not having
- 13:55Speaker 1: to carry the defense. The defense has looked really, really good.
- 14:01Speaker 1: Last year, or the year before that, if the Bengals
- 14:05Speaker 1: scored 20 points, I'm like, they're not winning. Their defense
- 14:08Speaker 1: is awful. And even Joe Burrow wasn't great. He was
- 14:12Speaker 1: sacked five times. And this was my biggest pet peeve.
- 14:17Speaker 1: of Zach Taylor, the head coach, the first week. Jamar Chase,
- 14:20Speaker 1: I think, had a catch. Maybe two. Not so fast
- 14:23Speaker 1: this week. It was part of their game plan. Seven catches,
- 14:25Speaker 1: 75 yards, two touchdowns. If you started them in fantasy,
- 14:27Speaker 1: shout out you. I don't play fantasy. Shout out you. C.J. Stroud,
- 14:32Speaker 1: I did not think, played bad. They just couldn't run
- 14:34Speaker 1: the football. They bring over Montgomery. They have marks. They
- 14:37Speaker 1: combine for 14 carries for 18 yards. Is that a
- 14:42Speaker 1: bad run game? or is a better run defense with
- 14:46Speaker 1: Dexter Lawrence. Stroud, when you're the leading rusher for the Texans,
- 14:50Speaker 1: never a winning formula. The stat line, I think, that
- 14:55Speaker 1: defined the entire game for Houston, and it led to
- 14:58Speaker 1: the Texans being 0-4 scoring in the red zone. The
- 15:01Speaker 1: fact of the matter is, you have to score points
- 15:06Speaker 1: in the red zone. You cannot kick field goals if
- 15:09Speaker 1: you want to win in this game. And by the way,
- 15:11Speaker 1: the Bengals' schedule, it's cake. Good job being 2-0. What
- 15:15Speaker 1: it means, it's got to feel good for the Bengals fans.
- 15:18Speaker 1: You know you can win games without Joe Burrow being
- 15:21Speaker 1: the best player on the field. They need to figure out,
- 15:24Speaker 1: first of all, how they can adjust protections because Joe Burrow,
- 15:27Speaker 1: he looks fragile out there. You're out there miscommunicating with
- 15:32Speaker 1: the offensive line. He's getting absolutely smoked. Cannot happen. He
- 15:37Speaker 1: was sacked four times, but you're 2-0 and you played
- 15:39Speaker 1: pretty good teams, Bucs and Texans, even though the Bucs
- 15:42Speaker 1: Lost to the Browns, which we will get into as well.
- 15:45Speaker 1: And what it means for the loser, third time in
- 15:47Speaker 1: the last four years that Texas have started 0-2. And
- 15:50Speaker 1: we know how hard it is for 0-2 teams to
- 15:52Speaker 1: make the playoffs under the current, get this, under the
- 15:56Speaker 1: current format. All right, 51 teams have started 0-2, only
- 16:01Speaker 1: eight of them, only eight have made the playoffs. If
- 16:04Speaker 1: you start 0-2, it's not impossible, but it's almost impossible. 16%
- 16:08Speaker 1: of the time, CJ Stroud to me is playing winning football.
- 16:12Speaker 1: There's a lot being talked about his fifth year option.
- 16:13Speaker 1: Is he not already? I just feel like the run
- 16:15Speaker 1: game of the defense has not lived up to it.
- 16:17Speaker 1: Let's get to one of the coolest games of the week.
- 16:21Speaker 1: And probably no one had the Saints winning in Baltimore 24-17.
- 16:28Speaker 1: Shout out Cody helping me produce this show. Shout out Clump.
- 16:33Speaker 1: They're like, we got to talk Saints-Ravens. I'm like, I'm
- 16:35Speaker 1: loving the Saints. I was with them for five years.
- 16:38Speaker 1: I was on the high horse for the Ravens last week.
- 16:40Speaker 1: I was like, Declan Doyle, you are rolling. You got
- 16:45Speaker 1: Lamar Jackson under center. He's been under center. And then
- 16:48Speaker 1: all of a sudden, like another week, another team that
- 16:52Speaker 1: think the Saints have put them away. I don't know
- 16:54Speaker 1: if they stopped playing. I don't know what happened. But
- 16:57Speaker 1: then Tyler Shuck happened, leads another comeback. Obviously, the last
- 17:01Speaker 1: week in week one was really close to leading an
- 17:04Speaker 1: insane comeback. For the Lions. But this time the Saints
- 17:08Speaker 1: scored 15 unanswered in the fourth quarter to win. Like
- 17:12Speaker 1: cardiac kids. They just like playing better in the fourth quarter.
- 17:15Speaker 1: I love what the Saints have going on. Tyler Shuck
- 17:20Speaker 1: was 27 of 34. 252 yards. Let me get a
- 17:23Speaker 1: drink of water. Shout out to Walla. And two total touchdowns.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Get this though. I think this is the best time.
- 17:32Speaker 1: When you can have a quarterback step up and play
- 17:35Speaker 1: your best when your best is needed, which we call
- 17:37Speaker 1: money downs, money situations, third down, red zone, two minute,
- 17:41Speaker 1: fourth quarter. He went 12 of 14 for 119 yards
- 17:47Speaker 1: in those two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. I like
- 17:49Speaker 1: me some shuck. The most important takeaway I got for
- 17:52Speaker 1: the Saints fans is he is your franchise quarterback. There
- 17:55Speaker 1: is no question about it. I love your offensive scheme.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I love everything about it. Let's go to the, actually,
- 18:04Speaker 1: how about this? Since week 10 of 2025, only Josh
- 18:08Speaker 1: Allen has more fourth quarter touchdowns than Tyler Shuck. Let
- 18:11Speaker 1: that sink in. I think Josh Allen's the MVP of
- 18:13Speaker 1: the league. I think he's having an MVP year. Only
- 18:16Speaker 1: Josh Allen. Let's get to the Ravens side of things.
- 18:18Speaker 1: The Ravens could not run the ball to put the
- 18:21Speaker 1: Saints away. I will never understand this, but Derrick Henry
- 18:26Speaker 1: only had five carries in the second half of the
- 18:28Speaker 1: game when they were leading the majority of it. My
- 18:31Speaker 1: thought would be give him the damn ball every single time.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I understand there's other things to do. Lamar, after a
- 18:40Speaker 1: week one where I thought he was the second or
- 18:42Speaker 1: third best quarterback, pretty sure he was my top three
- 18:45Speaker 1: or four quarterbacks in the breakdown episode, which is on Tuesdays,
- 18:50Speaker 1: which we go in-depth. This is more of what happened.
- 18:52Speaker 1: We go in-depth on that. He was my third or
- 18:55Speaker 1: fourth best quarterback last week. Not so much this week. 21-31,
- 18:57Speaker 1: 234 yards and a touchdown. with a really costly interception.
- 19:03Speaker 1: I do not know where he was throwing that. It
- 19:06Speaker 1: was in no man's land. So yeah, this is... And
- 19:11Speaker 1: by the way, Saints fans, you're doing this with Chris Olave.
- 19:14Speaker 1: Stays healthy. You have a true receiver one. He tore
- 19:17Speaker 1: it up again today. Eight catches, 86 yards, and a touchdown. Oh,
- 19:21Speaker 1: by the way, did you guys remember that you have
- 19:23Speaker 1: first-round pick Jordan Tyson that is going to be coming
- 19:26Speaker 1: back from the I.R.? I think this offense can be
- 19:30Speaker 1: dangerous with Kellen Moore's dialing it up. Love the use
- 19:32Speaker 1: of different personnel groupings and everything in between. What this
- 19:36Speaker 1: means for the losers. Ah, the Ravens. They blow a
- 19:39Speaker 1: fourth quarter lead, which would make it their 13th blown
- 19:43Speaker 1: fourth quarter lead of seven points since the start or more.
- 19:47Speaker 1: uh seven or more points since I started 2021 13th
- 19:51Speaker 1: blow I'm reading this and I do not believe it
- 19:54Speaker 1: 13th blown fourth quarter lead of seven plus points or
- 19:56Speaker 1: more since I started 2021 most in the NFL and
- 20:00Speaker 1: the next most in that span was only seven and
- 20:03Speaker 1: they have 13 this has been an issue The whole time,
- 20:07Speaker 1: no matter the coach, it's always been with Lamar Jackson there.
- 20:10Speaker 1: I'm not saying this is all Lamar. Great teams know
- 20:15Speaker 1: how to finish people. Good teams can stick around. There's
- 20:19Speaker 1: no reason that the Ravens shouldn't be at home today
- 20:22Speaker 1: watching this film and saying we're 2-0. But the Saints, man,
- 20:26Speaker 1: it is a very difficult place to play up there
- 20:28Speaker 1: in Baltimore. Weird things happen up there in Baltimore. All right,
- 20:31Speaker 1: let's get on to Jags-Broncos. Jags 13, Broncos 20. Huge
- 20:36Speaker 1: win for Broncos. We don't talk enough about the Broncos.
- 20:40Speaker 1: They do have one of the best rosters in all
- 20:42Speaker 1: the NFL. And get this. The whole storyline going into
- 20:47Speaker 1: this game. Is Davis Webb a good play caller? Is
- 20:49Speaker 1: Sean Payton going to freak out and take it from him?
- 20:51Speaker 1: And I know Sean personally, and he loves control. Guys,
- 20:54Speaker 1: chill out. Their first seven quarters of the season, they
- 20:57Speaker 1: only scored 16 points. The Davis-Webb offense scored 14 points
- 21:02Speaker 1: in the fourth quarter to get a must-seeded win, a
- 21:05Speaker 1: little naked bootleg out, which I love the play call.
- 21:08Speaker 1: You fake out, and then you bootleg out. Touchdown pass
- 21:11Speaker 1: to the fullback, and then a run play right up
- 21:14Speaker 1: the middle. It was not perfect, but this is a
- 21:18Speaker 1: good win over a team in the Jacksonville Jaguars I
- 21:21Speaker 1: think will have a 10-win season. And Tim Tebow was there.
- 21:26Speaker 1: He was the captain. I don't know if you saw it,
- 21:28Speaker 1: but it was hilarious. He's waving the Bronco flag. Completely
- 21:31Speaker 1: went off. Just we're buddies at SEC Nation on ESPN.
- 21:35Speaker 1: But that was hilarious to me. And this Denver offense
- 21:39Speaker 1: only went two for five in the red zone. And
- 21:41Speaker 1: that included a really bad interception from Bo Nix. But
- 21:44Speaker 1: he only threw incompletions, four of them in the second half.
- 21:47Speaker 1: And the Broncos got the run game going. Jalen Waddell,
- 21:51Speaker 1: I think, was the missing weapon there. He had a
- 21:54Speaker 1: good game, really good game. Super unused in the first
- 21:59Speaker 1: game against the Chiefs. I think that was very apparent.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So what did Davis Webb do? Let's dial up for
- 22:04Speaker 1: eight catches for 138 yards on 10 targets. He played
- 22:09Speaker 1: a bunch. Look, I think Trevor Lawrence also played extremely well,
- 22:12Speaker 1: even though the box score was not impressive. Go watch
- 22:15Speaker 1: the film. And even though he leads the NFL in
- 22:17Speaker 1: turnovers since he entered the league, which is the worst
- 22:20Speaker 1: thing a quarterback can do, he's been phenomenal over his
- 22:23Speaker 1: last 10 games. And what this means for the winner,
- 22:26Speaker 1: it means that you're not the dreaded 0-2, guys. Come on.
- 22:28Speaker 1: You're 1-1 with the Broncos. There are still some very
- 22:31Speaker 1: much worrying aspects of the offense. We are going to
- 22:34Speaker 1: break him down eventually on the breakdown. Not this week.
- 22:38Speaker 1: It's coming, though, Broncos fans. Relax. It's going to play.
- 22:42Speaker 1: I think that they are playing Bo Nix way more
- 22:46Speaker 1: aggressively and he's still throwing balls, fading off his back foot.
- 22:49Speaker 1: That was one of the things he can get better
- 22:52Speaker 1: at and I'm glad it's a win, but that was
- 22:53Speaker 1: one thing he sort of struggled with last year was
- 22:55Speaker 1: these hopping in the, it just didn't feel comfortable. He
- 22:59Speaker 1: couldn't match up his footwork to Sean Payton's routes. It's
- 23:04Speaker 1: getting better. And what this means for the loser, you
- 23:06Speaker 1: lost a road game against a really good team and
- 23:08Speaker 1: a very tough place to be. You're, in a tough
- 23:11Speaker 1: place to play. Your division isn't the strongest division, and
- 23:13Speaker 1: you have a lot to build off of. Trevor Lawrence
- 23:15Speaker 1: needs to keep playing well, and I think he will.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I really do think he will. All right, let's get
- 23:19Speaker 1: into the last game, Commanders versus the Cowboys in this section,
- 23:24Speaker 1: where we're gonna go a little bit in depth. Obviously,
- 23:29Speaker 1: the news is Jaden Daniels. And anytime a quarterback gets hurt,
- 23:32Speaker 1: it's brutal. It's awful. You saw how everyone reacted. And
- 23:36Speaker 1: it was just, it wasn't great. And it's hard to
- 23:40Speaker 1: win games on the road in Dallas. But most importantly,
- 23:44Speaker 1: Dak Prescott lit the commanders up, dude. Like 20th straight,
- 23:50Speaker 1: get this, 20th straight NFC East home win. So when
- 23:53Speaker 1: the Cowboys played home against an NFC East team, they're winning. Oh,
- 23:57Speaker 1: by the way, did you see There were no shutters
- 24:00Speaker 1: or blinds over the windows. It was the 3.30 Eastern start.
- 24:03Speaker 1: The shadows from the sun are absolutely ridiculous. I'm glad
- 24:07Speaker 1: we didn't hear too much about it. But he became,
- 24:09Speaker 1: most importantly, Dak Prescott, he became the Cowboys franchise all-time
- 24:12Speaker 1: leader in passing touchdowns. And that is a franchise with
- 24:15Speaker 1: Troy Aikman, by the way, and Tony Romo. Dak went 26-31,
- 24:18Speaker 1: 279 yards, four touchdowns. But once again, Dallas struggled to
- 24:23Speaker 1: run the ball well. Dak had 26 of their 66
- 24:27Speaker 1: rushing yards. It seems like quarterbacks are throwing it a
- 24:29Speaker 1: lot more this year. Rushing games for certain teams aren't
- 24:32Speaker 1: getting to go. And for as good as they should
- 24:35Speaker 1: be up front with all those dudes defensively, they're still
- 24:37Speaker 1: giving up an average defensively. And this pains me to
- 24:41Speaker 1: say this. Almost 175 yards a game for the first
- 24:44Speaker 1: two games. That is not a winning formula. They're going
- 24:46Speaker 1: to play a much better team than the Commanders. Cowboys
- 24:49Speaker 1: are lucky that they're 1-1. And there was obviously, like
- 24:52Speaker 1: when you go to the commander side of things, a
- 24:54Speaker 1: clear lack of wind in the commander sales when Jaden
- 24:56Speaker 1: Daniels got hurt. Marcus Moriota can only do so much.
- 24:59Speaker 1: So what this means for Dallas, you get a divisional win,
- 25:01Speaker 1: but there are still more questions than answers for the
- 25:03Speaker 1: team that had high expectations coming into the year. I'm
- 25:07Speaker 1: not going to lie. I thought that this would be
- 25:09Speaker 1: one of the Cowboys years, and I'm just not quite
- 25:13Speaker 1: so sure. Dak Prescott, though, legitimate top 10 quarterback. He
- 25:17Speaker 1: will be... In the breakdown on Tuesday, we will be
- 25:21Speaker 1: breaking down his entire film, and you will see every
- 25:25Speaker 1: single throw that I deem possible for it. Remember, that
- 25:27Speaker 1: comes out on Tuesday on my channel, Chase Daniel. Chase
- 25:31Speaker 1: Daniel Official is the name of it. And then for
- 25:35Speaker 1: the Commanders, I'll put a fork in them. Season done.
- 25:38Speaker 1: I think if Jaden Daniels opts for surgery, which I
- 25:41Speaker 1: think he should, it's going to be very hard to
- 25:43Speaker 1: have a winning season with a new OC. Once again,
- 25:47Speaker 1: so Commanders fans, sorry. your luck this football season whether
- 25:51Speaker 1: you're buying tickets booking travel or shopping for team gear
- 25:55Speaker 1: protect your pocket with visa tapping to pay for a
- 25:58Speaker 1: bootleg jersey without checking the card not a pro move
- 26:01Speaker 1: tapping to pay with visa that's a pro move visa
- 26:04Speaker 1: runs more than 500 security checks to help identify fraud
- 26:09Speaker 1: before transactions are approved helping protect your payment all the
- 26:12Speaker 1: way to the end zone so you can focus on
- 26:15Speaker 1: other things. Like whether boneless wings are actually wings. Reaching
- 26:19Speaker 1: for your card with five fingers covered in buffalo sauce?
- 26:22Speaker 1: That's a fumble waiting to happen. Not a pro move.
- 26:25Speaker 1: Tapping to pay with Visa? Now that's a pro move.
- 26:28Speaker 1: Because with Visa, you're not responsible for any charges you
- 26:31Speaker 1: didn't make. So you can save your defensive energy for
- 26:34Speaker 1: something else like keeping Taylor away from your nachos. This season,
- 26:38Speaker 1: a great defensive play is paying with Visa, the most
- 26:42Speaker 1: trusted way to pay for football fans everywhere. All right, guys,
- 26:45Speaker 1: now we are getting to segment three of the show.
- 26:47Speaker 1: It is called the Hurry Up Offense. We are going
- 26:49Speaker 1: to spend no more than one minute going through every
- 26:53Speaker 1: single game for all you fantasy owners and all you
- 26:57Speaker 1: film junkies out there. All right, let's go back to
- 26:59Speaker 1: the Thursday night game, Lions at Bills. Lions 31, Bills 41.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Quite honestly, this was not even as close as you
- 27:06Speaker 1: would think it would be. More importantly, Josh Allen, he's
- 27:11Speaker 1: the beast. Yes, the beast. MVP type level. I'm not
- 27:15Speaker 1: going to say he's the MVP right now because it's
- 27:17Speaker 1: week two and I don't love doing that. But he's
- 27:19Speaker 1: the best player in football. The Lions defense is a
- 27:23Speaker 1: major issue. 446 yards of total offense for the Bills.
- 27:27Speaker 1: Over 200 on the ground. So it's not just all
- 27:29Speaker 1: Josh Allen, James Cooks going on and going and getting rolling.
- 27:33Speaker 1: But I'm telling you right now, DJ Moore... Got hurt.
- 27:38Speaker 1: I think he got injured. It is super impressive what
- 27:42Speaker 1: Joe Brady and Josh Allen are doing. Man, he's really good.
- 27:46Speaker 1: All right, next game. Packers at the Jets. Packers 20,
- 27:51Speaker 1: Jets 17. One of the two overtime games of the weekend.
- 27:55Speaker 1: We talked about the earlier one. Chiefs, Colts. Packers. Please,
- 28:01Speaker 1: what is happening to Packers? this offense. The Packers had
- 28:05Speaker 1: less than 200 yards of total offense. It is a
- 28:08Speaker 1: very hard watch for me. Obviously, you know, Jaden Reed
- 28:12Speaker 1: got injured. You lost some other receivers. I don't know
- 28:17Speaker 1: the identity. And I think that's the hardest thing to
- 28:20Speaker 1: understand about the Packers right now is what is their identity?
- 28:24Speaker 1: I thought the Jets were going to win. And look,
- 28:25Speaker 1: the Jets, maybe they're better, but the Jets can be
- 28:28Speaker 1: really pesky this season. Like Geno Smith, and the weapons
- 28:34Speaker 1: that they have on the ground. I just think in general,
- 28:36Speaker 1: like Frank Reich is dialing it up, offensive coordinator. Garrett
- 28:40Speaker 1: Wilson is showing out, and more importantly, the Packers, your
- 28:44Speaker 1: offensive line is struggling, and you're getting one of the
- 28:46Speaker 1: best players in football, I think. Jordan Love could be
- 28:49Speaker 1: a weird one, but you're getting him killed, so don't
- 28:52Speaker 1: do that anymore. That'd be great. Let's go to the Eagles-Titans.
- 28:57Speaker 1: You may be seeing in my top six quarterbacks, which
- 29:00Speaker 1: I film on the breakdown, which will be out on Tuesday,
- 29:03Speaker 1: you may see Jalen Hurts up there as a top
- 29:05Speaker 1: six quarterback because boy, oh boy, did he ever show out.
- 29:08Speaker 1: I love the way he played the position of quarterback. Yes,
- 29:12Speaker 1: the pick in the red zone was very bad. He
- 29:16Speaker 1: looked straight at the guy and said, here, catch it.
- 29:18Speaker 1: And I get it. Stuff happens. Understand. After that moment, though,
- 29:22Speaker 1: he locked in. Like, Hurts threw two interceptions. They still
- 29:26Speaker 1: needed a game-winning drive to beat the Titans. But guess what?
- 29:30Speaker 1: The Eagles get their first ever win in Nashville. And
- 29:31Speaker 1: when you talk about the Eagles, you've got to talk
- 29:33Speaker 1: about the way that Jalen Hurts has played. He's looked
- 29:36Speaker 1: a lot better. That film between Devontae Smith and that film,
- 29:40Speaker 1: between the connection of Devontae Smith and Jalen Hurts is
- 29:44Speaker 1: pretty good. It's pretty good. I have enjoyed it. Titans, man,
- 29:50Speaker 1: I thought you guys were going to get your first win.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Brian Dayball, Kim Ward look a little bit better. Ah,
- 29:55Speaker 1: got to play better defense though. All right, let's go
- 29:58Speaker 1: to this one. This was a little surprising to me.
- 30:00Speaker 1: Steelers three, Patriots 20. Steelers, what, three points? By the way,
- 30:05Speaker 1: I thought Aaron Rodgers got bent backwards today. It was bad.
- 30:08Speaker 1: But good teams win ugly, and this game was absolutely hideous.
- 30:12Speaker 1: It was a very Mike Grable game. Drake May does
- 30:15Speaker 1: not look like he did last year. Aaron Rodgers has
- 30:19Speaker 1: attempted 12 passes, how about this, of 20-plus yards downfield
- 30:24Speaker 1: this year without completing one. It's the most attempts in
- 30:27Speaker 1: the NFL for a two-game stretch without a completion since 2022.
- 30:31Speaker 1: They can't get going. DK Metcalf, where are you? They
- 30:34Speaker 1: got to get a run game going. Mike McCarthy, welcome back.
- 30:38Speaker 1: But very, very ugly game. All right, let's get next up.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Another quarterback who's also in my top six quarterbacks. That's
- 30:46Speaker 1: Panthers 34, Falcons 3. And by the quarterback, I'm talking
- 30:49Speaker 1: Bryce Young. Through two games, Bryce Young has 648 passing
- 30:54Speaker 1: yards and six touchdowns. He is a franchise quarterback. Make
- 30:57Speaker 1: no mistake about it. He is your guy. Can't believe
- 31:00Speaker 1: you didn't sign him a fifth-year option. Get this dude
- 31:02Speaker 1: locked up. Falcons have yet to run a play from
- 31:05Speaker 1: the red zone this season. How's your season going without Tua,
- 31:10Speaker 1: without Michael Penix? Jack Strand, you're in there. Cooper Rush,
- 31:15Speaker 1: you're in there. Kamario Taylor from Mississippi State could play
- 31:19Speaker 1: quarterback better. I'm just calling it right now. Let's go
- 31:21Speaker 1: to the most surprising game of the entire day. That's
- 31:25Speaker 1: Browns versus Bucs. Browns 23, Bucs 19. Deshaun Watson was
- 31:29Speaker 1: Very good, actually. 24-30, 238 yards and two touchdowns. But
- 31:35Speaker 1: they need to help him in the run game. He's
- 31:38Speaker 1: been the team's leading rusher in both games this year.
- 31:41Speaker 1: You cannot win like that. What's even more interesting is
- 31:45Speaker 1: the Shador Sanders reports that came out before the Browns
- 31:49Speaker 1: even played a snap. And I'm guessing Deshaun, like he
- 31:52Speaker 1: said in the media, expected him to throw for 500 yards. No,
- 31:55Speaker 1: but he shut everyone up. He at least gets another week.
- 31:57Speaker 1: He goes back home next week. You better believe that
- 32:00Speaker 1: the Browns fans are going to boo him, even though
- 32:02Speaker 1: he won in Tampa. And I love Denzel Boston. I
- 32:07Speaker 1: love Casey Concepcion, Harold Fannin. All these guys, they have
- 32:11Speaker 1: a really good core of young studs for weapons. And
- 32:15Speaker 1: then Bucs, what are we doing? What are we doing?
- 32:21Speaker 1: I think there's still some time to go. 0-2, though,
- 32:24Speaker 1: like season, probably put a fork in it. It's an
- 32:27Speaker 1: easier division. Ah, not good. All right, let's go to
- 32:29Speaker 1: the Raiders at Chargers. We're going to spend a little
- 32:32Speaker 1: bit of time on this because Chargers, what in the
- 32:35Speaker 1: hell is going on? Raiders win 26-14. And the Chargers
- 32:41Speaker 1: are 0-2 to start the year with having the Cardinals
- 32:46Speaker 1: and the Raiders as their first two games. Let me
- 32:48Speaker 1: just tell you their next seven games. At the Bills,
- 32:52Speaker 1: at the Seahawks, home versus the Broncos, at Chiefs, at Rams,
- 32:56Speaker 1: home versus the Texans, at Ravens. Are you kidding me?
- 33:00Speaker 1: I don't think they're going to be 0-9, but goodness,
- 33:03Speaker 1: they have to get that stuff fixed. Harbaugh has never
- 33:05Speaker 1: been 0-2 in his career. Get that for a minute.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Harbaugh's never been 0-2. The offense looks boring. They've scored
- 33:12Speaker 1: 14 points both weeks against bad defenses. And Drew Locke,
- 33:16Speaker 1: by the way, he put up 31 points versus the Cardinals,
- 33:18Speaker 1: who the Chargers lost to last week. 31 points from
- 33:21Speaker 1: a backup quarterback, M-I-Z, by the way. I don't know
- 33:24Speaker 1: what's going on. I'm going to have to dive deeper
- 33:27Speaker 1: into the film on the breakdown show, and we're going
- 33:29Speaker 1: to have to figure it out because I got no clue.
- 33:33Speaker 1: I thought Mike McDaniel would unlock this offense. Shout out
- 33:36Speaker 1: Will Compton. He thought the same thing. I just don't
- 33:40Speaker 1: know what's going on. And they showed a shot of
- 33:44Speaker 1: Herbert at the end. Just looks completely dejected. All right,
- 33:47Speaker 1: Dolphins at 49ers. I don't know if the Dolphins are
- 33:50Speaker 1: going to win a game this year. Oh, I don't
- 33:53Speaker 1: know who they're throwing it to. Malik Willis. Oh, my gosh. 49ers, though. 35. Dolphins, 13.
- 33:59Speaker 1: Brock Purdy. He's going to be in my top six quarterbacks. Baller.
- 34:03Speaker 1: Probably playing in the position of quarterback better than anyone
- 34:06Speaker 1: else in the NFL right now. 20 of 22. 287.
- 34:09Speaker 1: Two touchdowns. And they were 5 of 7 on third down.
- 34:12Speaker 1: Not only is it a great percentage, but 5 of 7.
- 34:16Speaker 1: You only have seven third downs. That means you're getting
- 34:18Speaker 1: a lot of first downs on first and second down. Amazing.
- 34:21Speaker 1: I mean, they killed the Dolphins with extreme efficiency. George
- 34:23Speaker 1: Kittle got going. People forgot about the 49ers in the offseason.
- 34:27Speaker 1: Being in a division with the Rams and the Seahawks,
- 34:30Speaker 1: no one's talking about them. Now they look like one
- 34:32Speaker 1: of the better teams in the entire division. 49ers 35,
- 34:35Speaker 1: Dolphins 13. All right, let's go on to the last game. Seahawks, Cardinals,
- 34:39Speaker 1: Drew Locke. Let's go. M-I-Z-Z-O-U. 31-7. It was tied 7-7
- 34:45Speaker 1: at halftime. But one team had JSN. Nine catches, 155 yards.
- 34:52Speaker 1: He had the longest of his career. And three total touchdowns.
- 34:56Speaker 1: They outscored the Cardinals 24-0 in the second half. And
- 34:59Speaker 1: they suffocated Arizona as they only had 151 yards. How
- 35:03Speaker 1: about this? The Seahawks get the 2-0 with Drew Locke
- 35:05Speaker 1: as their quarterback. He made some amazing throws. And I'm
- 35:09Speaker 1: not even sure when Sam Darnold is going to be back.
- 35:11Speaker 1: They're getting it checked out. Could be back next week.
- 35:14Speaker 1: But if you're playing like this and you can go
- 35:15Speaker 1: 3-0 with Drew Locke, you start talking about them as
- 35:18Speaker 1: Super Bowl favorites. All right, let's get into the two-minute drill.
- 35:21Speaker 1: This is the final segment of the show. It is
- 35:24Speaker 1: just my final thoughts about anything and everything that I want.
- 35:26Speaker 1: And my final thoughts this week are about Patrick Mahomes. Like,
- 35:32Speaker 1: I'm sitting here and I've re-watched already the Sunday night games.
- 35:36Speaker 1: And I've watched everything about it. The dude looks completely healthy.
- 35:42Speaker 1: Everything about this Chiefs team screams that the Chiefs just
- 35:45Speaker 1: took a year off last year. Relax. I am officially
- 35:48Speaker 1: stating right here and right now that Patrick Mahomes and
- 35:53Speaker 1: the Chiefs are officially back. They have a run game.
- 35:55Speaker 1: They have Kenneth Walker. They have Travis Kelsey looking younger
- 35:59Speaker 1: than ever. Pac-1 Thornton. Had a heck of a game.
- 36:01Speaker 1: They ran Wasp, by the way, that Super Bowl play
- 36:03Speaker 1: against Tampa Bay Buccaneers on third and 15. The throw
- 36:07Speaker 1: didn't get more than seven feet off the ground. And no,
- 36:10Speaker 1: I'm not some, like, I'm just, I think the Chiefs
- 36:16Speaker 1: is still the Chiefs. Sometimes they just gotta reload. And
- 36:19Speaker 1: they rebuilt. And they added some other guys. Yes, that
- 36:22Speaker 1: offensive line, they need to get going. But I am
- 36:24Speaker 1: super pumped about The Kansas City Chiefs, that's probably my
- 36:29Speaker 1: biggest takeaway. The other thing I'm watching, how does Tyson
- 36:32Speaker 1: Bajent play in Chicago? Because the Chicago Bears are a
- 36:36Speaker 1: good team. Got to fix the offense. It was weather.
- 36:38Speaker 1: It was best of both worlds. Don't let one loss,
- 36:41Speaker 1: Chicago Bears, derail your entire season. I'm hopeful that it's
- 36:44Speaker 1: a grade one, which I think is the least worse hamstring.
- 36:48Speaker 1: How is he going to play? How is Marcus Mariota
- 36:50Speaker 1: going to play? There's a lot of backups going to
- 36:52Speaker 1: be in big spots. um, throughout the next couple of
- 36:55Speaker 1: weeks to see if they can keep their teams alive. Uh,
- 36:59Speaker 1: and I'm just, I'm, I'm pumped about this show guys.
- 37:02Speaker 1: I really love what we've done with this show. I've
- 37:07Speaker 1: really loved that you guys have seen it. Please comment, like, subscribe,
- 37:11Speaker 1: anything and everything that you want to do, because maybe
- 37:14Speaker 1: we'll have a segment next time where you're asking chase,
- 37:16Speaker 1: maybe we'll live tweet some stuff. Maybe we'll do all
- 37:18Speaker 1: this stuff. Remember, The breakdown, okay, it comes Tuesday, and
- 37:24Speaker 1: we are going to be breaking down this week. You
- 37:26Speaker 1: hear it here first. Dak Prescott, going to be at
- 37:28Speaker 1: least a 20-minute long. I love the way he's playing football.
- 37:31Speaker 1: We're going to break down Brock Purdy, and you know
- 37:34Speaker 1: we are going to break down Patrick Mahomes. I'm super
- 37:38Speaker 1: excited about it. Let's keep this thing rolling, man. Thank
