- 0:19Hello and welcome to episode 94 of the All Systems Go sports
- 0:25Betting podcast powered by Rhythm.
- 0:28I'm your host Josh Applebaum. What's going on everyone?
- 0:35Happy Friday. The work week has come to an
- 0:38end. The weekend is upon us and we
- 0:40got a lot to talk about on today's podcast cuz we have a
- 0:42loaded Friday slate and we also have you know what it is biting
- 0:47little bit of UFC for tomorrow. I do have, as we like to do once
- 0:51a week, unveil it on a Friday, sweat it on a Saturday, a UFC
- 0:55bet for you with a fantastic low bets, higher dollars bet split
- 0:59as well as a great steam move and other interesting
- 1:01supplementary factors that really lean me or not just a
- 1:04lean. It's an official bet, but make
- 1:06me really fire on this bet in favor of this one biter or
- 1:09fighter as we like to call it. So we got UFC and then we also
- 1:13have a loaded slate for tonight. I got a four pack for you.
- 1:15I got three Major League Baseball bets, all kind of short
- 1:19favorites here. So trying to go two and one eke
- 1:20out a profit. And then also we do have some
- 1:23NFL preseason three games overall and we have a very, very
- 1:27sharp dog to fave line movement information based bat where one
- 1:31team's going to play their guys, the other team's going to sit
- 1:33there guys, and I'm going to target this team to win the game
- 1:35on the first half. So talk we'll talk about it all
- 1:38in episode 94, a big Friday edition of the all systems go
- 1:41pod powered by rhythm, a four pack for today, three MLB bets,
- 1:45one NFL pre season bet and the UFC biting play here to finish
- 1:50up the pod for tomorrow. Now looking back to our last
- 1:53night one and 2 -, 1.39 units. We had a good win with the G
- 1:57men. The Giants were down three O in
- 1:59the second quarter. Remember we played them on the
- 2:01first half to win the first half and they stormed back, scored a
- 2:04pair of touchdowns 1:14 to 3:00, not only for I think it was 14
- 2:08to three at the end of the first half.
- 2:09So no scoring in the second-half.
- 2:10You played the under. Good for you on that one.
- 2:13We did get a Giants information based bet.
- 2:16We could not get the Patriots over though.
- 2:17That one was so frustrating. Zero offense from Carolina.
- 2:21I mean, talk about a complete, ridiculously pathetic, inept,
- 2:25offensive performance by the Carolina Panthers.
- 2:28That line actually did come back down a little bit.
- 2:30I saw some books get down to 34 and surprising to me, the
- 2:34forecast. This is New England weather.
- 2:36This is something you got to be conscious of.
- 2:37It looked like it was going to be a great night, 70°, and then
- 2:40it was like raining and a little bit windy.
- 2:43So that total came back down a little bit.
- 2:44I think we got caught on the wrong side of that one.
- 2:46Obviously the under hit when we were looking at a information
- 2:50based play over. So one in one in the NFL pre
- 2:53season and then frustrating one in MLB.
- 2:55Couldn't get the Diamondbacks to bite for us to bite as they
- 3:00couldn't pull out their fangs. Against Philly.
- 3:02They lost six to four. They're up one nothing.
- 3:04They clawed back on a McCarthy home run.
- 3:07They made it a little interesting in the 9th but end
- 3:09up losing six to four. So couldn't get that dog to fave
- 3:12line move. So you guys know what that means
- 3:15sports betting, you go two and one one and two three and OO and
- 3:18three. You're up, you're down, you're
- 3:20treading water. Nothing changes.
- 3:21We stick to the model, stick to the blueprint.
- 3:24Let's try to cap off a pretty decent week here with a good
- 3:27winning Friday. So that being said, let's get
- 3:29right into some NFL pre season betting because this is the time
- 3:33of year where we try to pat our bankroll going into week 1 by
- 3:37making information based bets that can also be married to the
- 3:40market. So three games tonight, I landed
- 3:42on one that caught my eye and it is a 7:00 start between the
- 3:46Houston Texans and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 3:48Now let's start off with the market and then I'm going to
- 3:51give you why the market is moving.
- 3:53Why it's pretty obvious here. One team's playing their guys,
- 3:55the other team isn't. And I'm going to give you the
- 3:57bet here as well as some other supplementary factors to
- 4:00consider. So first one is that this line
- 4:04dog to fave is moving in favor of the Texans.
- 4:06We open this one. Pittsburgh Steelers at home -2
- 4:091/2. Now we flipped all the way to
- 4:11Houston -2 1/2. And this is notable because you
- 4:15know, this line was at two at one point.
- 4:17It went even further to up to 2 1/2 overnight.
- 4:21So further movement in favor of Houston.
- 4:24That also lines up with a pretty good bet split.
- 4:25They're getting a little less than half the tickets, but
- 4:28almost 75% of the dollar. So good low bets, higher dollars
- 4:32bet split in addition to that dog to fave line move.
- 4:35And then once you look at a line move, you also got to figure out
- 4:38why is it moving? Well, pre season these lines
- 4:39move because of who's playing and who isn't.
- 4:42So let's start with Houston. They're going to play CJ Stroud
- 4:45tonight. That's what that's what I read
- 4:46online. Hopefully that's true.
- 4:48This is this would be Stroud's debut in the preseason.
- 4:50And you're also going to see other first team offensive
- 4:53players. So probably not Stefan Diggs,
- 4:55probably not Joe Mixon, but some of the lineman, maybe a couple
- 4:58pass catchers. So the fact that Stroud is going
- 5:01to play also means that, you know, the quarterbacks behind
- 5:05him, Mills, Keenum and Boyle will also probably play a little
- 5:08bit here. And remember, could be another
- 5:10advantage with Houston, the fact that they played in the Hall of
- 5:12Fame Game. So they already have, you know,
- 5:14a sweat under their belt, not a not a gambling sweat, but
- 5:17literally sweating and getting out there and going through the
- 5:19motions versus Pittsburgh, who's playing their official first pre
- 5:23season game. So we know that Stroud and some
- 5:25of the Houston guys are going to play.
- 5:27Let's look on the other side, Pittsburgh now Pittsburgh is
- 5:30going to start Justin Fields, but they're not going to play
- 5:32Russell Wilson. They're not going to play TJ
- 5:34Watt. They're not going to play
- 5:35Patrick Queen, Minka Fitzpatrick, Jay, I was going to
- 5:39say Jason Hayward, Cameron Hayward, he's not going to play
- 5:42either. You're going to get a lot of
- 5:43Pittsburgh guys sitting in this one.
- 5:46So the fact that the Houston guys, a lot of them are going to
- 5:48play. The Pittsburgh guys are not
- 5:49going to play. And then also, let's look at
- 5:52these QB depth charts I mentioned after Stroud, Davis,
- 5:55Mills, Keenum and Boyle. Mills was pretty good.
- 5:58I remember that last game that got that we bet on that got
- 6:01rained out or you know, bad weather.
- 6:02They cancel it early. Remember you got to go 55
- 6:05minutes to count in pre season. But Mills look pretty good prior
- 6:08to that happening. So hopefully he'll get some
- 6:10playing here time here tonight. On the flip side, quarterbacks
- 6:14here for Pittsburgh, I want to bet against them again.
- 6:16Justin Fields, you're going to see him a little bit, maybe a
- 6:19series or two, but then Kyle Allen, the journeyman and John
- 6:21Rise, Plumley College undrafted quarterback as well.
- 6:25So I'll give the edge here to obviously Houston playing their
- 6:28guys versus Pittsburgh sitting there guys, Houston with a
- 6:31better quarterback depth chart. And then also I want to give a
- 6:33shout out to our friends at Juice Reel because I popped open
- 6:36the Juice Reel app as I do every single morning.
- 6:39Waited until noon, thought some Robo Jackson releases his best
- 6:42bet picks to each day. And guess what?
- 6:45One of them is on Houston now Robo took Houston to win the
- 6:48game overall, which I'm rooting for, but I'm going to target
- 6:51Houston here to win the first half.
- 6:53Same exact situation that we played with the Giants last
- 6:56night. That came through only because,
- 6:58hey, if you're going to play most of your guys early on,
- 7:01that's the advantage. But when it gets to the
- 7:02second-half when you got a lot of third and 4th stringers on
- 7:05both sides, maybe that edge gets a little bit decreased here.
- 7:08And then again, crazy thing, crazy things can't happen in the
- 7:11second-half. Unpredictable situations.
- 7:13So that's going to be my play. Houston playing there, guys, dog
- 7:16to fave line move plus 2 1/2 to -2 1/2.
- 7:19It's even juiced up like it may go to three.
- 7:22So I'm going to back Stroud and the Texans again also
- 7:25experienced playing their second pre season game, Pittsburgh
- 7:27playing their first and I'm going to play Houston to go into
- 7:30halftime with a lead. So give me the Texans on the
- 7:33money line to win the first half.
- 7:35A first half play at -140. Now over to some Major League
- 7:40Baseball. I got 3 bets for you.
- 7:42Let's try to get two out of two out of three.
- 7:44Go two and one and eke out a profit.
- 7:46So first one, I'm focusing on 7 O 7:00 PM Eastern Time, first
- 7:49pitch, the Oakland A's visiting Toronto Blue Jays.
- 7:53Now, the A's come in 48 and 68. They just did, however, take two
- 7:57out of three against the White Sox.
- 7:59They won the finale on Wednesday, 3:00 to 2:00 as a -,
- 8:02185 home favorite. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays 53 and
- 8:0662, but they're playing better. They took two out of three
- 8:08against the Orioles. They won seven to six yesterday
- 8:11as a -, 110 home favorite. So pitching match up here for
- 8:14tonight. The A's are going to go with
- 8:16ready Mitch Spence. He's seven and seven with a 4.4
- 8:19OERA. Meanwhile, the Blue Jays are
- 8:21going to go with the veteran ready Jose Berrios.
- 8:24Three and nine and nine. 4.11 ERA.
- 8:26What? Have you seen across the market
- 8:28here? Well, you guys know at this
- 8:30point I'm a lover of Steam and we got massive Steam 22 on
- 8:34Toronto, Toronto open this one as low as -130 -, 135 Now
- 8:39Toronto's all the way up to -150 some shops even as high as -155.
- 8:44So we saw early Steam, then we saw continued steam and it's
- 8:47continuing to move on game day in favor of Toronto.
- 8:50Tells me you got a lot of smart money laying the wood with the
- 8:52Blue Jays tonight. Now Toronto is getting around
- 8:5580% of bets in dollars. So both pro and Joe support in
- 8:58their favor in addition to now about a 20 cent steam move in
- 9:01their direction. Classic non division favorite
- 9:04value. So lack of familiarity, Toronto
- 9:06from the AL East, Oakland from the AL West, a lack of
- 9:09familiarity benefiting quote UN quote.
- 9:10The better team who's favorite to win, which would be Toronto
- 9:13here tonight. Toronto's got the better offense
- 9:16hitting two 44178 runs scored. Oakland's hitting two 34171 runs
- 9:21scored. I got a good system match here.
- 9:23Both teams are below 500. Take the favorite, very simple,
- 9:26but it's 221 and one 5259% with a 1% ROI this year.
- 9:32Digging into the pitchers a little bit, Spence, he's been
- 9:35pretty good at home with 3.86 ERA on the road, 5.22.
- 9:39So he's on the road tonight and the opposite with Barrios, he's
- 9:42really good at home, 2.99 ERA, 5.95.29 on the road.
- 9:47So he's at home tonight, luckily.
- 9:48Jays, by the way, last 10 games are hitting 261.
- 9:52Athletics last 10 games are hitting 213.
- 9:54So an advantage there with the bats, hopefully with Toronto.
- 9:57And then even though Oakland's, you know, played better last
- 9:59month or so, there's still 19 and 38 on the road.
- 10:02That's the third worst record on the road in baseball.
- 10:05Only the White Sox and the Rockies are worse.
- 10:07So big sharp steam. I bet this one at -150 earlier
- 10:11today. Now you're as high as -155 But
- 10:13let's go, Jays start our night off, hopefully with the winner.
- 10:17Second bet for you, Houston Astros against the Boston Red
- 10:21Sox. I always make the joke that the
- 10:23Sox are my team. Doesn't mean I bet them just
- 10:25because they're my team. But when they're sharp, I get to
- 10:27play them. I get to sweat them and bet
- 10:28them. And that's one of those nights
- 10:30here on a Friday night, give me the Red Sox.
- 10:32Little background here. Astros 59 and 55 just took two
- 10:36or three against the Rangers. They won the series finale on
- 10:38Wednesday 6:00 to 4:00 as a -, 130 Rd. favorite.
- 10:42Meanwhile, the Red Sox 61 and 52, they just took two or three
- 10:45against the the Royals couldn't get the sweep though.
- 10:48They lost that series finale eight to four as a + 120 Rd.
- 10:52dog. So pitching matchup tonight.
- 10:54We have the Strohs going with ready Ronnell Blanco.
- 10:57He's nine and six with the 2.98 ERA.
- 10:59You know the Sox are going to go with their ace Tanner Hawk, 88
- 11:03and eight with a three-point O 9 ERA.
- 11:04What? Are we seeing across the market?
- 11:06Here, well, if you like Toronto, you like Boston.
- 11:09Boston Open has a very short, you know -110 -, 115 home
- 11:13favorite. Now the Sox are up to -135 S
- 11:16about a 20 cent steam move in their favor.
- 11:18They're only getting around 60% of bets in dollars.
- 11:21So kind of a modest public support, but also closer to a
- 11:255050 line move. 60% of money line bets shouldn't move a line
- 11:29$0.20. You know, you should probably be
- 11:31getting 7080% or more. So the fact that 60% bets
- 11:35produced this 20 cent steam move tells me it's not the public,
- 11:38it's wise guys getting down on the Red Sox now system matches
- 11:42with Boston favorites off a loss, playing an opponent off a
- 11:45win. Their 373 and two 5360% this
- 11:48year with a 2% ROI when both teams are coming off a day off,
- 11:53which is the case here. Neither played yesterday.
- 11:55Take the favorite also very simple.
- 11:57Big sample size though. Since 2020 those teams are 522
- 12:01and three 3561% with a 1% ROI. Classic non division favorite
- 12:06value, lack of familiarity, benefiting quote UN quote.
- 12:08The better team with Boston Red Sox have the better bats.
- 12:11They're hitting 262 with 144 homers, 563 runs scored.
- 12:17Astros hitting 259 with 128 homers and 519 runs scored.
- 12:22Last 10 Red Sox are six and four.
- 12:24They're hitting 300, last 10 for Houston.
- 12:26They're four and six, only hitting 223.
- 12:29So I know Blanco, he pitched the Nono earlier this year.
- 12:32Then I think he might have got in trouble with the sticky
- 12:34stuff. But I'm going to fade Blanco.
- 12:37I'm going to go with the steam. I'm going to take the Red Sox
- 12:39tonight. Guys, give me Boston, shop
- 12:41around. I got the Red Sox at -135 last
- 12:45bit of the night. This is basically you're right
- 12:48there with the Toronto Blue Jays and the Red Sox, a home favorite
- 12:51that's not too popular, getting good sharp steam in their
- 12:54direction. So let's talk about this one.
- 12:56New York Mets visiting the Seattle Mariners, a late night
- 12:59game tonight, 10:10 PM Eastern Time.
- 13:01We have the Mets coming in 61 and 54.
- 13:04Just took two or three against the Rockies.
- 13:06They won the finale yesterday, 9 to one as a -, 150 Rd. favorite.
- 13:10Meanwhile, the M's 60 and 56 just dropped two or three
- 13:13against the Tigers, but did avoid the sweep of the four to
- 13:16three win yesterday, cashing as a -, 200 home favorite.
- 13:20So pitching match report tonight.
- 13:21The Mets are going to go with Jose Quintana, the lefty.
- 13:24He's six and seven with a 3.95 ERA.
- 13:28Mariners are going with Bryce Miller, the righty.
- 13:30He's eight and seven with a 3.62 ERA.
- 13:32What? Have we seen across the market?
- 13:34Here, well, I hinted at it, but Seattle Open has a very short
- 13:37-115 home favorite. Now Seattle's up to -130 I see
- 13:41some shops even inching toward -135 So again, just like
- 13:44Toronto, just like Boston, similar situation steam to the
- 13:48home team that's laying a, you know, moderately short price.
- 13:52Seattle currently is getting only 50% of bets, but they're
- 13:57taking in 60% of dollars. So I, I should have led with
- 13:59this, but the public is split. The Mets, hey, good team getting
- 14:03plus money. But Seattle, you know, short
- 14:05favorite at home public doesn't know what to do.
- 14:07It's 5050 down the middle, yet nearly 2/3 of dollars are on
- 14:10Seattle and the line is moved to Seattle.
- 14:12So in a vacuum, again, line shouldn't really move at all.
- 14:15Yet we're seeing this line move to Seattle only getting 50%.
- 14:18Tells me smart money is on the Mariners.
- 14:20Seattle has quarrel to betting favorite low total total.
- 14:23This one is 8. Now some shops are juiced up.
- 14:25I think I might see an 8 1/2 out there.
- 14:27So maybe we're not quite in that exact, you know, favorite low
- 14:31total situation. But you do have a interleague
- 14:33favorite lack of familiarity benefiting the better team with
- 14:36Seattle and also home Rd. splits for these pitchers.
- 14:40Cantana 4.58 ERA on the road versus 3.38 at home.
- 14:45Guess what? He's on the road tonight.
- 14:47Miller 5.37 on the road, but 2.27 ERA at home.
- 14:52He's at home tonight. So you add it all up here, guys.
- 14:545050 line move, interleague favorite bunch of good betting
- 14:58systems on Seattle. I want to back Miller over
- 15:01Cantana. Let's go Mariners to win this
- 15:03game. Opening as low as -110 -, 115
- 15:06now all the way up to -130 I'm on Seattle at -130 so Toronto,
- 15:11Boston and Seattle. Can we get 2 out of 3?
- 15:13Eke out a winning night. Now to your favorite part of the
- 15:17Friday podcast. That's right.
- 15:20You know what time it is. It's time for a little bit of
- 15:22biting in the UFC because we love sweating UFC.
- 15:27We pick out one bout a week. Just kind of a good routine.
- 15:30I don't really look at it much, you know, throughout the week.
- 15:33I try not to let any early, you know, biases come to play.
- 15:36I wait until John Ewing sends me that bet MGMUFC bet splits
- 15:40e-mail every Friday around 9:00 AM.
- 15:42And I got the latest batch and I did some digging and I found a
- 15:45system match. So I always like to mention this
- 15:48because we have new people betting and listening to the pod
- 15:51all the time, which is fantastic.
- 15:53Welcome to the welcome to the grinders with blinders,
- 15:55data-driven contrarian crew. But for those who are new, for
- 15:58those of you who've been grinding since the start, you
- 16:00know what I'm going to tell you. But for those who are new, UFC
- 16:03is a different sport, may not be the most popular sport.
- 16:06The intricacies are different from other sports, but here's my
- 16:09model when it comes to UFC, I'm looking for the tail of the tape
- 16:13to match the betting data. What do I mean by that?
- 16:16I mean that I'm looking for fighters, fighters who are
- 16:19younger, taller, have a longer reach, but more importantly,
- 16:23have a line move in their favor, telling us smart money is on
- 16:25their side, have a really good bet split, and then also have
- 16:28other supplementary factors to build the case.
- 16:32And again, whether it's UFC or any other sport that I'm
- 16:34betting, I'm trying to act like like like Slip and Jimmy, you
- 16:38know, like from Better Call Saul.
- 16:39I'm a lawyer building a case. Can I build a strong enough case
- 16:43to convince a jury? Now it's not a jury of your
- 16:45peers. The jury is you and your
- 16:47bankroll. Can I convince myself that I've
- 16:49created a strong enough data-driven case to place a bet?
- 16:52So I landed on for UFC biting Tibera versus Spivak 2 UFC Fight
- 16:58Night tomorrow night. I landed on the main card about
- 17:02in the women's bantamweight between Yana Santos and Chelsea
- 17:05Chandler. You know who I'm going with Yana
- 17:08Santos baby, Give me Yana Santos at -145 to win this bout.
- 17:13Now let's start off with the data.
- 17:16Yana Santos opened at -125 Yana Santos and some shops even open
- 17:21lower. I saw this closer to like a pick
- 17:22em opener. Now we're seeing Yana Santos all
- 17:25the way up to -145 So whether you go off the kind of pick em
- 17:29price or around -120 either way, you're getting 2025 as high as
- 17:33$0.40 of steam in favor of Yana Santos.
- 17:37Then let's go to the bet splits from Bet MGM.
- 17:40Yana Santos is only getting 51% of bets, but 82% of dollars.
- 17:45So the lines moving in her favor, she's only getting half
- 17:48the tickets, but she's getting more than eight out of $10.00.
- 17:51So what does that tell us? Combining the line movement with
- 17:54the bet splits, it tells us that a lot of smart money has come in
- 17:57on Santos driven this number further in her favor.
- 18:00So the 51% bets, that means that it's not 51% bets moving Santos
- 18:05that line bigly in her favor. It's the smart money.
- 18:08It's the 82% dollars on Santos. And remember, 250 fifty line
- 18:12shouldn't move at all, yet it's getting steamed towards Santos.
- 18:15So great line move, great bet split.
- 18:17Now, I fully admit, not all the other boxes are being checked
- 18:20off. She's 34, her opponent's 33.
- 18:24So it's not like she's 34 and her opponent's 26, but they're
- 18:27about the same. She's one year older.
- 18:30She's 5 foot five, her opponent's 57.
- 18:32Nothing huge, but she is 2 inches shorter.
- 18:34Now she does have a little bit of a reach advantage, 68 or 69
- 18:38inches versus 68. But here's where I'm going to
- 18:42put some more feathers in the cap of Santos.
- 18:45One is more significant strikes per minute.
- 18:47Now I was reading about how maybe this this this bite might
- 18:51or this bout might kind of might, might kind of shake out.
- 18:56And the angle here is that basically what I've been reading
- 18:59is that Santos is a really good striker.
- 19:02She's jiu jitsu and Chandler is a really good grappler.
- 19:06So Chandler wants to get to the ground and wrestle and grapple.
- 19:09Santos wants to stay on her feet and strike.
- 19:11Now a lot of times you'll see this in the especially women's,
- 19:15while the Bantam weights and kind of the younger or the the
- 19:18kind of the the lighter weight class is that you don't often
- 19:23see a ton of submissions. A lot of them go to decision.
- 19:25So when you go to decision and it becomes a decision based on
- 19:28the judges, you really want to put forth a lot of offense
- 19:31because that kind of will be a Bennett be a benefit.
- 19:34Usually the person, man or woman who you know, produces more
- 19:37offense, strikes their opponent more.
- 19:39They're going to get, you know, some some love in the
- 19:41scorecards. So significant strikes per
- 19:43minute. Yana Santos is dishing out 4.16
- 19:47versus 3.45 for Chandler. So Santos is more offensive,
- 19:51dishing out more punishment. She's also the more accurate
- 19:54striker 56% versus 45%. And I was also reading two other
- 19:59factors here that I like about Santos.
- 20:01One. Even though she's a year older,
- 20:03she's got a lot more experience in the UFC.
- 20:06Santos has had nine official bouts in the UFC versus only
- 20:10three for Chandler. So Chandler's kind of a late
- 20:12bloomer. Also, not only does she have
- 20:15more experience, but she's faced way better competition.
- 20:17She's faced really good fighters here.
- 20:20Santos has versus Chandler, who's unproven, hasn't fought a
- 20:23ton in the UFC and hasn't very hasn't faced very good
- 20:26competition. Lastly, of course, we'd love to
- 20:29bet on a fighter who's, you know, knocking everyone out.
- 20:32But Santos has lost three straight bouts.
- 20:35And I was reading about these losses and basically a lot of
- 20:37them are decisions, split decisions.
- 20:39It was right there. She didn't get the right
- 20:41scorecard. It's not like she's getting
- 20:43blown out or, you know, submitted or rear naked, choked,
- 20:46you know, within 10 seconds. So I was kind of reading about
- 20:49how she's really, you know, kind of desperate to win.
- 20:52And again, desperation, that can also awesome often be a great
- 20:55motivator. So she's desperate for a win.
- 20:57She's been very close. She's got more experience, she's
- 21:00faced better competition, she's the better striker, she's the
- 21:03more accurate striker. She has a good line move and
- 21:06she's got a great bet split only 51% bets, 82% money.
- 21:10Guys and gals who are listening to this pod, the all systems go
- 21:13pod powered by rhythm, we just made a very good case to sweat
- 21:18Yana Santos. That's going to be our play
- 21:20here, guys. I'm going Yana Santos, she's the
- 21:2312th ranked fighter in women's bantamweight.
- 21:25Chandler is the 14th ranked fighter.
- 21:27But give me Santos to win this bite, this point, this fight at
- 21:31-145 on the money line. I don't want to jinx it.
- 21:34We won eighth straight though. Can we get our ninth straight?
- 21:37Let's go Yana Santos. So that about does it.
- 21:40Another podcast here in the books, guys.
- 21:42Episode 94. This is the part of the pod
- 21:45where I asked something of you. I just gave you a lot of
- 21:47insights and information. Now I'm going to ask you for
- 21:50something in return. Could you please give this
- 21:52podcast a 5 star review? If you're listening on Spotify
- 21:56or iTunes or any other platform and it gives you the option to
- 21:58rate or review, please give me those five stars.
- 22:01It would really mean a lot to me.
- 22:03Help us to grow the pod, you know, rise up the the ratings,
- 22:06gain more credibility. If you want to recommend the pod
- 22:08word of mouth to a friend of yours or you want to click the
- 22:11follow button, if that's an option, so you can get alerted
- 22:13as soon as the pod drops each day.
- 22:15That would really, really make my day.
- 22:16I'd really appreciate it, but even maybe more importantly,
- 22:19just thank you for listening. Really means a lot to me that
- 22:21you guys take the time out of your day to pull up a chair to
- 22:24the virtual bar and talk sharp data-driven betting with me.
- 22:28Secondly, if you enjoy this style of betting, data
- 22:31information, stats, numbers, line moves, betting split system
- 22:35matches. You notice we never parlay
- 22:37because parlays are the penny slot in a handout to the book.
- 22:40They make the house very rich. They don't make betters rich.
- 22:44No hot takes, just data-driven betting.
- 22:45If this style, an approach to sports betting appeals to you
- 22:49and you want to learn more about data-driven betting, well, guess
- 22:52what, I can guide you in the right direction.
- 22:54I wrote a book, it's called the Everything Guide to Sports
- 22:57Betting. Just go to Amazon.com, type in
- 22:59the Everything Guide to Sports Betting, pick up a copy for you
- 23:02or for a friend. It's got everything I've learned
- 23:04in the industry. How lines are set, how and why
- 23:06they move, how to read line movement, how to locate sharp
- 23:09action, how to go contrarian, how to place a bet in person or
- 23:12online, how to shop for the best line chapters on all the major
- 23:15sports. It's a great starter for someone
- 23:18new in sports betting or maybe a, you know, a newer, better
- 23:21intermediate better looking to kind of hone their game.
- 23:24So pick up a copy for you or for a friend or that buddy of yours
- 23:27who parlays everything and double s down and triples down
- 23:30in chases. Just send them right to the
- 23:32bankroll management chapter. I believe it's chapter 2.
- 23:35But guess what, guys? If you buy a copy, it'll mean a
- 23:37lot to me. You're going to learn some more.
- 23:39You're going to support the team.
- 23:40And then also when I see you at the book, I'm going to buy you a
- 23:43beer and I'm going to sign that the book, my book for you at the
- 23:47book. It always gets a little bit
- 23:48wordy. But seriously guys, if you want
- 23:49to pick up a copy, it really would make my day.
- 23:52So that about does it. Finishing up our week here.
- 23:55I'm going to leave you with two things, which I always leave you
- 23:57with. Number one, whether I see you at
- 23:59the Borgata in Atlantic City, Twin River in Rhode Island, the
- 24:02Brooklyn, New Hampshire, Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun down in
- 24:05Connecticut at the Encore in Boston or Plain Ridge Park
- 24:08Casino or MGM Springfield in my neck of the woods in
- 24:11Massachusetts. Or of course, out in the desert
- 24:13where the true grinders get down or Billy Walters sends his
- 24:16number runners where the lowest use possible.
- 24:18So at the South Point or sweat and sharp contrarian plays
- 24:20jumping in the stadium swimming pool at Circa, wherever it may
- 24:23be. You're going to walk up to me
- 24:25and you're going to show me at least one winning ticket from
- 24:27last night. Show me AG men, first half money
- 24:30line, Patriots over D backs. Rip those up, recycle them and
- 24:36we'll get the next one here, guys.
- 24:38And but guess what? First one's on me, next one's on
- 24:40you. We're going to post about the
- 24:41book and sweat all of our plays here for tonight.
- 24:44So as always, I should have mentioned this too.
- 24:47Let me fit this in. Have you signed up and given a
- 24:50shot to a 7 day free trial of both Juice Reel and Rhythm, my
- 24:53two favorite sports betting apps on the market?
- 24:56They're great, just tools to add to your toolbox.
- 24:59They're based on data and information, not opinions.
- 25:02And we'll start with Rhythm. Rhythm is great for their AI
- 25:04backed models and predictions for both game bets and player
- 25:07props. Rhythm is doing a ton of work
- 25:09getting ready for the NFL season.
- 25:11Pretty soon we'll have WNBA coming back here as well as golf
- 25:14for Rhythm and then also Juice reel.
- 25:16Great by syncing your sports books up, learning about
- 25:19yourself is a better getting a running report card of your
- 25:21performance, but also the sharp mush plays each day, the
- 25:25arbitrage bets, the Robo Jackson best bet picks all included when
- 25:29you sign up for Juice reel. So go sign up for a juice reel
- 25:32and a rhythm 7 day free trial. You can do it by clicking the
- 25:35custom link that's located in the bio description of this
- 25:38podcast. Lastly, of course, guys, my
- 25:40parting words, stay sharp, stay contrarian, bet against the
- 25:44public, place yourself on the side of the house.
- 25:46Always be with the smart money, never against it.
- 25:48Will smart money when every time?
- 25:50Of course not because again, sports betting is hard, it's
- 25:53unpredictable. This is the business we operate
- 25:55in. But but hey, it's important to
- 25:57always remember we're playing a long game.
- 25:59If we can consistently bet with our head and not our heart,
- 26:02against the public, with the pros, with the house flat bet,
- 26:05avoid parlays and get some closing line value.
- 26:07If we can do that, we're going to be successful sports bettors.
- 26:10So enjoy your weekend everyone have a great Friday night.
- 26:14Let's get some winners here tonight in baseball in an NFL
- 26:17pre season and hopefully Jana Santos can post a winner for us
- 26:20tomorrow night in the UFC Octagon.
- 26:23Biting, but that about does everyone remember no pods on the
- 26:26weekends. But I do write the sharp report
- 26:28for baseball, baseball or NFL. Now it's become a decision each
- 26:32day for me what to write about. Usually I go with whatever
- 26:35sports offering more sharp, sharp, sharp games, but you can
- 26:38check out my Twitter at Josh under score insights for weekend
- 26:42sharp reports. And then we'll be back at it on
- 26:43Monday for episode 95 of the All Systems Go sports betting
- 26:48podcast powered by Rhythm. Have a great Friday night, guys,
- 26:51and an even better weekend. Good luck.
