- 0:20Speaker 1: What's going on? Everybody? I'm the one, the only w
- 0:23Speaker 1: oh okay, I e We're back again. I have a
- 0:27Speaker 1: new mixer, so if you hear something strange, that's why
- 0:31Speaker 1: we went. We went to the old, old, but new
- 0:35Speaker 1: right like, so it's it's new, but it's the same
- 0:39Speaker 1: one I used to use, So the old one. So
- 0:43Speaker 1: you guys want to hear the story.
- 0:46Speaker 2: I will give us the story.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I don't know if this is the whole story. How
- 0:49Speaker 1: did we but last week or two weeks? Two weeks ago?
- 0:55Speaker 1: Last week we recorded, I recorded archives, record, and then
- 0:59Speaker 1: I recorded acorder. Nothing out of the norm until Saturday
- 1:05Speaker 1: when I go to edit and all I hear is
- 1:09Speaker 1: just every time somebody talks, whether that's you, me, whoever,
- 1:15Speaker 1: all it is is static. And I went, oh fuck,
- 1:17Speaker 1: what happened? Right? So I message you guys, tell you
- 1:22Speaker 1: the episode is fucked and we got to figure it out.
- 1:27Speaker 1: So I start to figure it out process and I'm like, well,
- 1:29Speaker 1: I must have a dead cord right now. It's not
- 1:33Speaker 1: the chord because the chords getting connection. I'm like, okay,
- 1:39Speaker 1: I thought it was weird that like the headphones were working,
- 1:41Speaker 1: but like the microphone wasn't so at that point, I'm like,
- 1:45Speaker 1: it's got to be the chord, right. I replaced a
- 1:49Speaker 1: whole bunch of stuff. The only thing I didn't replace
- 1:54Speaker 1: was the cloud lifter, but I replace all my chords,
- 1:58Speaker 1: and then finally I get a I get kind of
- 2:00Speaker 1: a whiff of like of my actual mixer, and I'm like, oh,
- 2:08Speaker 1: that smells. That smells burnt. I decided to take it off,
- 2:14Speaker 1: you know, I kind of do a quick sniff. Yeah,
- 2:16Speaker 1: it's I don't know if it caught on fire. I
- 2:21Speaker 1: don't know what happened, but it is it did have
- 2:24Speaker 1: some sort of electrical something or other because it was
- 2:28Speaker 1: burnt on the bottoms kind of charred a little bit.
- 2:30Speaker 1: So something along the way happened. Really strange. But we
- 2:35Speaker 1: all know I had problems with that mixer since day
- 2:37Speaker 1: one anyways, so I wasn't too sad to have to
- 2:42Speaker 1: go back to a mixer that's kind of known, tried true,
- 2:48Speaker 1: and known to not suck. So OK, now I'm back
- 2:56Speaker 1: to I'm back to a scarlet, and I'm happy I've
- 2:59Speaker 1: had no problems thus far. I checked the recording yesterday
- 3:06Speaker 1: of well we recorded while I recorded with Sheep, and
- 3:09Speaker 1: it was fine and I'm assuming this one's fine too.
- 3:15Speaker 1: We'll find out if you guys see another message in
- 3:17Speaker 1: that it says the groble walking again. Maybe it wasn't.
- 3:22Speaker 1: Maybe it wasn't. I don't know. At that point, I
- 3:24Speaker 1: don't know. Yeah, I didn't. I didn't. I didn't, Like
- 3:29Speaker 1: I said, I didn't find out anything was strange until
- 3:32Speaker 1: like my headphones weren't working, and then I went and
- 3:35Speaker 1: just I was like, well, I can just plug them
- 3:36Speaker 1: into the computer. That's weird, and then just everything was
- 3:41Speaker 1: jack so or It's all of that into my head this
- 3:45Speaker 1: whole time, and I think we just have a really
- 3:47Speaker 1: cool podcast that uploads once a week. We're gonna go
- 3:53Speaker 1: with B. We're gonna go with B for a little bit,
- 3:55Speaker 1: or a A for a little bit. But yeah, OK,
- 4:02Speaker 1: yeah me, No, I'm exhausted. I'm super tired. I got inventory,
- 4:09Speaker 1: so literally this week, I got inventory coming up. I
- 4:13Speaker 1: literally got tomorrow pretty much tomorrow is my last like hurrah, right,
- 4:18Speaker 1: I start inventory Tuesday, Wednesday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and I'm
- 4:26Speaker 1: literally leaving my inventory Thursday and I am going to Baltimore.
- 4:35Speaker 1: So yeah, so I'm literally leaving inventory going to Baltimore. Yeah.
- 4:43Speaker 1: So It has been a long, like three and a
- 4:45Speaker 1: half weeks for me getting ready for inventory and all
- 4:50Speaker 1: those items. So I am I okay. No, I'm not okay,
- 4:53Speaker 1: but I'll make it. I'll get through.
- 4:57Speaker 2: I'm glad. I'm glad that you will survive.
- 4:59Speaker 1: I will survive just as well. And you know, yeah, yeah,
- 5:05Speaker 1: I don't know. But what are we doing this week?
- 5:06Speaker 1: We're doing uniques again.
- 5:09Speaker 3: Yep, talking about Felix. This is the first time we've
- 5:12Speaker 3: had a whole episode.
- 5:14Speaker 1: No, we've I don't know, maybe, but I don't know.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Felix likes to go through and look at uniques and
- 5:20Speaker 1: blow money.
- 5:22Speaker 4: I like, well, I like the window shop, but my
- 5:24Speaker 4: money mostly goes to Garrick.
- 5:26Speaker 1: Anyways, you guys all know where my money goes to.
- 5:31Speaker 2: Yeah, no, the Penguins. The episode is not.
- 5:36Speaker 5: About the.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Should look for a magpen hoarder, about the unique little game.
- 5:43Speaker 2: It's about more than that.
- 5:45Speaker 1: Don't touch my magpen hoarders there for me, stop it.
- 5:53Speaker 4: It's it's Wizards of the Maze unique episode. Never mind,
- 5:59Speaker 4: I can't look for with.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Right, I'm not phoned. I'm not unique in this set
- 6:09Speaker 1: to really go after although this Bravos excavator you have
- 6:14Speaker 1: put in here that unique art is terrifying.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Where you guys are like hoarding chickens.
- 6:23Speaker 1: So it's called cats.
- 6:26Speaker 2: No hoarding chickens because if you hoard chickens, you have
- 6:30Speaker 2: too many chickens and they're running around like crazy and
- 6:33Speaker 2: it's hard to keep track of them. Today you never
- 6:36Speaker 2: heard that. On the day's episode is about uniques in
- 6:41Speaker 2: the way of what is a good unique? How do
- 6:44Speaker 2: you judge uniques?
- 6:46Speaker 1: What name is Magpen?
- 6:49Speaker 2: All right, it's been good, I'm gonna go to bed.
- 6:52Speaker 2: It's been a long weekend.
- 6:56Speaker 1: You just asked me how I engauged my uniques, says,
- 7:00Speaker 1: name's backpad Horder. That's how I chage my unique. So
- 7:04Speaker 1: is that so bad? It's different strategies to this. Some
- 7:09Speaker 1: of us just like collecting one card. Some of us
- 7:13Speaker 1: like looking for cards for for actual play purposes.
- 7:19Speaker 5: Some of them I like looking at if they're actually good.
- 7:22Speaker 1: Some of us like to see if they're actually play purposes. Yeah,
- 7:28Speaker 1: I just like I like to collect one unique, and
- 7:31Speaker 1: I like to collect all of them. It's like Pokemon
- 7:34Speaker 1: for me, gotta collect them all.
- 7:38Speaker 4: Like, Yeah, I recognize a sentiment.
- 7:43Speaker 1: I'm sure that doesn't go along with your with your
- 7:47Speaker 1: your strategy of collecting uniquees.
- 7:49Speaker 3: Call now we need we need like a flushed out
- 7:51Speaker 3: strategy of like saying things that make a unique good
- 7:54Speaker 3: or bad, and like why you would want to have
- 7:57Speaker 3: it or play it and in what circumstances and like
- 8:00Speaker 3: strategies and how it affects your deck, game plan and
- 8:03Speaker 3: stuff like that.
- 8:04Speaker 4: Well, it's also very subjective though, because we're on person.
- 8:08Speaker 3: Yeah, everyone has their own kind of opinions on it,
- 8:13Speaker 3: and that's why we're here to say all of our
- 8:15Speaker 3: different opinions and compare and contrast our own strategies.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Well, like, okay, so like, well we all know what
- 8:23Speaker 1: you're going to say. You're going to say stats. That's
- 8:28Speaker 1: literally all you look at is.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Numbers that's in cost.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Uh huh, Like.
- 8:38Speaker 1: Right, you're the car could literally say you lose the game.
- 8:40Speaker 1: You're gonna be like, but it's a six six for two.
- 8:46Speaker 5: Yeah, it seems good to me.
- 8:49Speaker 1: Let me tell you all the reasons that it's amazing.
- 8:54Speaker 2: So let's let's start from the ground up. Uh, there
- 9:00Speaker 2: is if you search for it, and I'll link it
- 9:05Speaker 2: here into the live audience. A collection of how to
- 9:11Speaker 2: judge a unique I was put together by Loki with
- 9:16Speaker 2: input from a couple of different sources.
- 9:21Speaker 5: It says I don't have access to the link.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Interesting, Well, here's my thing. Do you ever really honestly
- 9:30Speaker 1: take Maybe you do? Is anybody ever honestly take? Like?
- 9:40Speaker 1: What what's the word? I'm looking for recommendations by the
- 9:44Speaker 1: by the person who makes the game.
- 9:47Speaker 4: I was curious about that. Isn't this slight complex of
- 9:50Speaker 4: interest there?
- 9:51Speaker 2: Because no, Loki is the community manager, not the game
- 9:58Speaker 2: designer at all. And it's also a culmination of two
- 10:05Speaker 2: different posts from like people in the community.
- 10:08Speaker 1: That so these are actual people in the community, not
- 10:12Speaker 1: paid for by by the game, right, Okay. I always
- 10:19Speaker 1: get a little nervous. It's like, you know, what's the
- 10:22Speaker 1: kegs name?
- 10:24Speaker 2: This is not key for your magic?
- 10:26Speaker 1: So well I know, but like that's still like they're like, hey,
- 10:30Speaker 1: check out this awesome duck. That's amazing, but like you'll
- 10:32Speaker 1: never see it on the pro tour, you know, just me.
- 10:38Speaker 4: I think a scientific journal, right, Like, although that's going
- 10:42Speaker 4: to open a new floodgates, nothink I'm going to leave
- 10:44Speaker 4: it there.
- 10:45Speaker 1: But what do is Loki tell us about uniques? How
- 10:47Speaker 1: should I search out for my uniques via Loki.
- 10:50Speaker 2: Okay, oh that's not really the point, but we will
- 10:55Speaker 2: go ahead and start from the ground up. This is
- 11:00Speaker 2: this is an episode for people that are not as
- 11:04Speaker 2: hardcore as maybe some of us. There is probably almost
- 11:10Speaker 2: one time per day someone asking in the discord, how
- 11:13Speaker 2: do I evaluate uniques?
- 11:16Speaker 4: Do I know?
- 11:16Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true. So this episode is for you. But
- 11:20Speaker 2: I also think once we get past the ground level,
- 11:25Speaker 2: this will be a good episode for everyone on uniques.
- 11:30Speaker 2: I think I have some interesting strategies and the others
- 11:35Speaker 2: might as well. And I did just come off of
- 11:40Speaker 2: casting ten hours of the French Qualifier, so have a
- 11:46Speaker 2: little information I can share from that. I'm gonna try
- 11:50Speaker 2: to run Traced one.
- 11:52Speaker 5: Yes, was it the bug spam traced?
- 11:56Speaker 2: No, it was not bugs different.
- 12:00Speaker 4: Was it a was it a from anywhere ability trigger activations?
- 12:06Speaker 2: It was not any kind of loop whatsoever. It was
- 12:12Speaker 2: basically a very classic traced with three Anansi uniques that
- 12:18Speaker 2: were mostly just focused on low cost.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Nice So like our third episode when we talked about
- 12:27Speaker 3: the best axiom unique being a NANCI, we were maybe correct.
- 12:32Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so we'll we'll we'll get to that part.
- 12:35Speaker 2: But back to the ground level. I will try to
- 12:39Speaker 2: go through this as quickly as possible. So what would
- 12:43Speaker 2: be considered unplayable uniques would be if they are inferior
- 12:48Speaker 2: to their rare counterparts. This is pretty easy to determine.
- 12:54Speaker 2: Maybe it's a higher cost, it has a lower stats,
- 12:56Speaker 2: and it has a less effective ability. The other characteristic
- 13:02Speaker 2: of an unplayable unique is there there are just too
- 13:05Speaker 2: many conditions for it to come online. Maybe there are
- 13:10Speaker 2: uniques where instead of just needing one landmark, you need
- 13:14Speaker 2: to have two or more. If you are not in
- 13:18Speaker 2: ortis and it's like three or more characters you have
- 13:21Speaker 2: to have already played before its ability works. That's not
- 13:26Speaker 2: gonna do you any good.
- 13:27Speaker 3: So you have to pay more to get the ability
- 13:30Speaker 3: to go off conditions and definitely make it harder to
- 13:33Speaker 3: play more to get less.
- 13:35Speaker 2: Yep, yep. So those are basically unplayable uniques, and a
- 13:41Speaker 2: lot of those, if you're caring about a dollar value,
- 13:44Speaker 2: are like five dollars or less. What I would say
- 13:51Speaker 2: in addition to this, I have come to adopt the
- 13:58Speaker 2: term that more competitive players use freeloader, and them use
- 14:03Speaker 2: it a lot. There are your unique characters that are
- 14:07Speaker 2: illegal and people hate to hear this, but I fully
- 14:13Speaker 2: believe it is absolutely the truth and the way Felix
- 14:18Speaker 2: before we started recording was talking about trying to find
- 14:22Speaker 2: a data Liss unique. I think data List is illegal
- 14:28Speaker 2: character to have for a unique. The reason being that
- 14:31Speaker 2: the rare is just so good and so perfect that
- 14:36Speaker 2: it's gonna be one, it's going to be really freaking
- 14:39Speaker 2: hard to find a unique that's better, and two you
- 14:44Speaker 2: just want the rares anyways, Yep.
- 14:48Speaker 3: I have my own opinion on this kind of legal tactic.
- 14:52Speaker 3: I kind of agree with it. But in some cases,
- 14:55Speaker 3: like if you just open one of your own uniques
- 14:59Speaker 3: and it happens to to be one of those that
- 15:01Speaker 3: you could would consider illegal that you would normally play
- 15:03Speaker 3: in every deck that is a very good common or rare,
- 15:06Speaker 3: I think it's fine to substitute if like you've opened
- 15:09Speaker 3: your own unique that is super cool and a lot
- 15:11Speaker 3: better than.
- 15:12Speaker 5: The common or rare, but.
- 15:17Speaker 3: I would I wouldn't go like buying on the marketplace
- 15:21Speaker 3: for one of those that's illegal.
- 15:24Speaker 4: Yeah, and I have like Ananci is one of those
- 15:28Speaker 4: that's just very difficult to substitute, but I have a
- 15:32Speaker 4: Lyra unique Nanci that has a two from hand cost,
- 15:36Speaker 4: and he pumps himself for your reserve every time you
- 15:39Speaker 4: play a zero stat character. So like that one maybe,
- 15:45Speaker 4: but sorry, far and far in between.
- 15:50Speaker 2: You said Nanci and Lyra. Yeah, Lyra, Yeah, I also
- 15:58Speaker 2: have an announce and Lyra. That's very good. I'll show you.
- 16:03Speaker 2: But the only time a Nansi would be illegal in Lyra,
- 16:08Speaker 2: I think is if you're playing Fenn. I think for
- 16:11Speaker 2: a rack, which is probably where you play that one, right.
- 16:16Speaker 4: I should play it. I played in Fin too because
- 16:19Speaker 4: of the two hand cost.
- 16:22Speaker 2: So it's a two hand cost, but it only gets
- 16:24Speaker 2: boosts when you play a zero static character. Correct, okay,
- 16:30Speaker 2: does it?
- 16:30Speaker 4: Yeah? I would never play a zero static character.
- 16:33Speaker 2: Does it get boosts for both reserves? Are just yours? No?
- 16:37Speaker 4: It does yours?
- 16:41Speaker 5: Fine, I would probably stay.
- 16:43Speaker 1: With I don't like that terminology.
- 16:50Speaker 2: What what what would you like to don't?
- 16:52Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know the terminology I want
- 16:54Speaker 1: to use. But illegal makes it sound like you cannot
- 16:58Speaker 1: play with it.
- 17:01Speaker 5: It just is unrecommended for high competitive lay because it's
- 17:06Speaker 5: taking away a very good card that you would otherwise have.
- 17:10Speaker 1: In that law, you can right, it's not you can't
- 17:13Speaker 1: like illegal makes it sound like it's a banned You.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Can't technically you can't because you want to hear why
- 17:20Speaker 2: it's illegal. Yeah, you already have three of this character.
- 17:24Speaker 2: You can't have a fourth, or fifth or sixth, so
- 17:27Speaker 2: it is illegal. It's an illegal deck.
- 17:30Speaker 1: Well, I mean I could take out one of my.
- 17:31Speaker 3: You already want to have three of that cards, and
- 17:34Speaker 3: you can't just add it and leave it.
- 17:35Speaker 1: And terminology to a newer player makes it sound like
- 17:41Speaker 1: this is like a band card or a card you're
- 17:44Speaker 1: completely unable to use. It's just it's bad. I don't
- 17:47Speaker 1: know only the terminology, that's all. It's just it's a
- 17:50Speaker 1: semantics thing. Don't worry about it.
- 17:52Speaker 3: I mean, it is subjective as to which cards might
- 17:56Speaker 3: be considered illegal in what decks and what the build
- 17:59Speaker 3: is like. You can have two very different Bassira builds,
- 18:03Speaker 3: and in some of them like alut might be very important,
- 18:06Speaker 3: but some Bassira builds might go a different route and
- 18:09Speaker 3: still be viable without Auklet, So running a unique ouklet
- 18:12Speaker 3: in that kind of deck might work.
- 18:14Speaker 2: Still something like that, And to what Dexter said, there's
- 18:18Speaker 2: always exceptions if you don't have very many uniques, or
- 18:22Speaker 2: you pull the unique and you really want to use it,
- 18:25Speaker 2: obviously you know, do what you will. This is if
- 18:29Speaker 2: you have, you know, a bunch of uniques where you're
- 18:32Speaker 2: looking on the marketplace to pick up some uniques, or
- 18:36Speaker 2: you pull the unique and you have no idea how
- 18:39Speaker 2: good it is. This this will kind of help you
- 18:42Speaker 2: start in the right direction. Creative Chaos had a question
- 18:47Speaker 2: about what are illegal uniques in Muna. That would be
- 18:52Speaker 2: alo Vera, I think is really the only one I
- 18:56Speaker 2: can think of.
- 18:57Speaker 5: Bendel harvesters for me East, I really like.
- 19:04Speaker 1: Less.
- 19:04Speaker 2: You pull a com people the.
- 19:06Speaker 3: Stupid unique Scindal harvester, then you play. But if it's not,
- 19:11Speaker 3: if it's not better than the rare, you don't play.
- 19:13Speaker 2: It is the whole.
- 19:14Speaker 4: Yeah, I have one of those, but I don't blame Muna.
- 19:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I think spindle harvester uniques can be really good
- 19:20Speaker 2: very often, so it's probably a judgment call on those.
- 19:24Speaker 2: But the Alavira for certain, Muna Druid depending. It's really
- 19:31Speaker 2: hard with Muna because the uniques are it's so hard
- 19:37Speaker 2: to find one that's really good that you will almost
- 19:41Speaker 2: take anything you can get, and a lot of the
- 19:44Speaker 2: good Muna uniques. The ability can be.
- 19:47Speaker 5: For ones that you are Yeah, the ability.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Can be found on anything like there's mass Spinker uniques
- 19:54Speaker 2: of almost every character in Muna. So it's pretty hard.
- 19:58Speaker 2: I will say, I don't I think I have ever
- 20:01Speaker 2: seen an alo Vira unique that I would play over
- 20:05Speaker 2: the rare.
- 20:05Speaker 5: So no, all over here, all here elvers are awful.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Yeah, So moving into I'll try to combine like the
- 20:18Speaker 2: playable with the desirable. So going up from unplayable is
- 20:25Speaker 2: if you know they are marginally better than the rare.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Maybe they offer different but equal viable options, usable abilities,
- 20:37Speaker 2: so an ability that is very easy to turn on,
- 20:41Speaker 2: and then going up from there is, of course if
- 20:45Speaker 2: it's a pretty good significant increase from the rare, and
- 20:51Speaker 2: usually putting it up into desirable and expensive like thirty
- 20:56Speaker 2: dollars plus our effects like they offered card draw, they
- 21:02Speaker 2: offer good removal or any powerful effects that are in
- 21:07Speaker 2: high demand. We could you were you were mentioning a
- 21:11Speaker 2: clue and a Bassira that made it to top eight
- 21:14Speaker 2: had a really interesting strategy around the clues. They had
- 21:20Speaker 2: one rare clue in their deck and then they had
- 21:24Speaker 2: two uniques, but the uniques were both based around card draw.
- 21:31Speaker 2: I probably I should have found it ahead of time,
- 21:35Speaker 2: but I wasn't gonna focus too much on the uniques
- 21:39Speaker 2: at the qualifier. Basically they were anytime the a clue
- 21:44Speaker 2: gets a boost, you draw a card. Basically nice.
- 21:47Speaker 5: Yeah, that's that's just a really good ability.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Yeah, and I think it's possible those uniques were rather
- 21:56Speaker 2: cheap because much like Dexter says, they were five from
- 22:02Speaker 2: hand and five from reserve. I think those uniques might
- 22:06Speaker 2: have been ones that people passed over completely because of
- 22:10Speaker 2: the cost, or did not try to sell for like
- 22:13Speaker 2: one hundred dollars because of the cost, but they worked
- 22:17Speaker 2: out very very well for that player.
- 22:20Speaker 5: And also the fact that most basiris are running the
- 22:23Speaker 5: rare auclutes, so they're more hesitant to run unique I
- 22:27Speaker 5: think maybe played a factor in those uniques being cheap
- 22:30Speaker 5: as well.
- 22:34Speaker 2: I obviously don't know for certain how much they were
- 22:38Speaker 2: or if they.
- 22:39Speaker 5: Were pulled or what, but yeah, yeah, of course they were.
- 22:43Speaker 2: Both based around the same thing, which is kind of
- 22:45Speaker 2: another thing that we'll get into in the next part.
- 22:50Speaker 2: But from there, evaluating and deciding what uniques are good
- 22:57Speaker 2: does change very often. So now that we have a
- 23:03Speaker 2: very general guide, which as a super quick recap is
- 23:06Speaker 2: basically check how often you want to play the character Already,
- 23:13Speaker 2: if it's one that you're making, like every deck have
- 23:18Speaker 2: in that faction, maybe don't seek out uniques for it.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Is it better than the rare in at least one
- 23:26Speaker 2: or two ways, Those are the ones you want to
- 23:29Speaker 2: start looking for. But now getting into the more of
- 23:33Speaker 2: the more interesting things, how do each of you personally
- 23:39Speaker 2: judge uniques either when you pull them or if you're
- 23:42Speaker 2: looking to buy one?
- 23:44Speaker 3: So first I just look at the stats face value,
- 23:48Speaker 3: look at it's from hand mane cost and from reserve
- 23:51Speaker 3: mane cost, and then like say one mana should be
- 23:55Speaker 3: worth about three total stat points and then just add
- 23:58Speaker 3: that up and for a unique, I want it to
- 24:00Speaker 3: have at least like three more. And I'm going to
- 24:03Speaker 3: count like a resupply as half of a mano cost.
- 24:07Speaker 3: A draw is one man of cost. A sabotage is
- 24:10Speaker 3: like probably like zero point seven of a mano cost.
- 24:14Speaker 3: A ramp is probably one mano cost. So there's like
- 24:17Speaker 3: different abilities are going to like add value to the card,
- 24:20Speaker 3: which I just generalize as a mano cost, which then
- 24:23Speaker 3: relates to stat value.
- 24:28Speaker 5: Did that make sense at all. It's kind of cleared
- 24:31Speaker 5: the way that I think about it.
- 24:33Speaker 4: No, I think it's good.
- 24:35Speaker 1: That makes sense.
- 24:36Speaker 4: That's how I said, you've always been viewing uniques, and
- 24:38Speaker 4: that's generally, I would say, a good rationalized way to.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Look at them.
- 24:45Speaker 4: It's not how I do it, but I'm a casual
- 24:49Speaker 4: player to begin with. So when I look for uniques,
- 24:54Speaker 4: the first thing I look for is in their abilities
- 24:58Speaker 4: are either from anywhere or if it's an ability that
- 25:04Speaker 4: triggers off of something that's easy. Then after that, repeating
- 25:08Speaker 4: they are always great. Yeah, but even if it's not
- 25:11Speaker 4: repeating three years, if it's a trigger that's very easy
- 25:13Speaker 4: to fulfill, even if it's just once, it's fine. Yeah.
- 25:17Speaker 4: And then after that I look at the The stats
- 25:22Speaker 4: is actually the one of the last things I look at.
- 25:25Speaker 4: But I mean, I'm a casual player to begin with,
- 25:27Speaker 4: so I tend to look at the cost next, because
- 25:32Speaker 4: I mean, if the costs six, it has to be
- 25:35Speaker 4: worth it. But I generally look at the abilities first.
- 25:38Speaker 4: I look at to see they have as from anywhere first,
- 25:41Speaker 4: because if it is, then I can use it pretty
- 25:43Speaker 4: much in any deck.
- 25:45Speaker 3: Having from anywhere or repeatable triggers are definitely desirable more
- 25:50Speaker 3: than just like having a whole bunch of stats. I
- 25:52Speaker 3: want to have good abilities on my uniques in addition
- 25:55Speaker 3: to having a good stat value, and those abilities that
- 25:58Speaker 3: it may have will just like add to the perceived
- 26:01Speaker 3: stat value of the card.
- 26:04Speaker 4: Yeah, I kind of think sadly I've been conditioned because
- 26:07Speaker 4: I keep looking for Garrett uniques. It's a it's a
- 26:10Speaker 4: joke at this point, but it's conditioned to you. I
- 26:15Speaker 4: have ten.
- 26:18Speaker 1: Ten.
- 26:19Speaker 4: Well, they all they do all sorts of different things.
- 26:22Speaker 4: There's like rolling and giving fleeting to stuff and sabotaging
- 26:27Speaker 4: and resupplying and giving anchored like I have almost like
- 26:30Speaker 4: they go, they do everything. I just basically want to
- 26:34Speaker 4: draw us. But anyways, it's it's conditioned to me two
- 26:41Speaker 4: devalue uniques that have hand abilities, which I shouldn't be
- 26:47Speaker 4: devaluing because I mean, only one character is really risking
- 26:52Speaker 4: handability and it's Fin but all everybody else you're gonna
- 26:56Speaker 4: end up drawing into it anyways, So I need to
- 26:59Speaker 4: change them intality that I have, And it could be
- 27:02Speaker 4: something that's happening with a lot of people too, so
- 27:05Speaker 4: they might be getting too stuck on a certain character
- 27:08Speaker 4: and then their uniques, their unique search gets conditioned to
- 27:15Speaker 4: that character that you're constantly playing, which is a problem.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Yeah. So a good way to put it is from
- 27:23Speaker 2: anywhere is basically always going to be better, no doubt.
- 27:27Speaker 2: But if you're looking only at from anywhere, you're also
- 27:33Speaker 2: going to get into the upper cost levels a lot sooner,
- 27:37Speaker 2: when if you also consider cards that have from hand,
- 27:41Speaker 2: you might be able to pick some up for a
- 27:43Speaker 2: lower cost. Back to the stat part of it, astro
- 27:49Speaker 2: Nebula in the live chat says they first look at
- 27:53Speaker 2: the main effects of the card, then see if the
- 27:56Speaker 2: cost is good, and usually prefer uniques with effects and
- 28:01Speaker 2: stat bombs aren't the play style. I think I'm kind
- 28:04Speaker 2: of the same. I don't even check the stats of
- 28:07Speaker 2: a unique. I check the cost and what ability it does,
- 28:12Speaker 2: and then if those two match up as well as
- 28:15Speaker 2: my budget, I'll buy it. I don't care what the
- 28:17Speaker 2: stats are.
- 28:21Speaker 5: I mean that's.
- 28:24Speaker 3: It depends on what the ability and what the cost
- 28:26Speaker 3: of it is. Like if you have a six cost
- 28:28Speaker 3: character with a good ability that's worth maybe like two
- 28:31Speaker 3: or three manna, and then it's got one stats across
- 28:34Speaker 3: the board that is negative value for mana versus stats.
- 28:38Speaker 3: So I would not want that personally, especially since it's
- 28:41Speaker 3: a big card. You want to have positive value because
- 28:45Speaker 3: if they remove it, then you're just done for Do.
- 28:48Speaker 2: You think that you put way too much weight on
- 28:50Speaker 2: stats alone and you're not evaluating abilities.
- 28:57Speaker 3: I look at the abilities too, But then if overall
- 29:02Speaker 3: it's the ability doesn't make up for the lack of stats,
- 29:04Speaker 3: then I won't want it. I still look at all
- 29:06Speaker 3: of abilities of characters.
- 29:08Speaker 5: That isn't the first thing you.
- 29:11Speaker 1: I Am gonna flat out say it, and it's something
- 29:13Speaker 1: you need to realize about your game style, whether it's
- 29:17Speaker 1: key Forge or it's this game, Dexter, you are a
- 29:22Speaker 1: horror for stats.
- 29:25Speaker 5: How about the horror for stats? And key Forge?
- 29:28Speaker 1: If it doesn't have the stats you like, you deem
- 29:31Speaker 1: it unplayable, Like even the ability could be really really,
- 29:36Speaker 1: really good, but you're like, ah, but it's this.
- 29:40Speaker 3: No if it if I have if I find an
- 29:42Speaker 3: anchoring unique that has whenever a card inners play, anchor
- 29:46Speaker 3: a creature, then that's a really good anchoring ability even
- 29:49Speaker 3: and even if it has bad stats, that anchoring ability
- 29:52Speaker 3: is worth much more than whatever.
- 29:54Speaker 5: Stat value it could have.
- 29:57Speaker 4: Okay.
- 29:57Speaker 3: It depends on the unique. It's ability will be we
- 30:00Speaker 3: need will need to be very good to make up for.
- 30:03Speaker 5: The lack of stats for me.
- 30:05Speaker 2: All right, well, let's do a little exercise. I'm gonna
- 30:08Speaker 2: post a unique and you evaluate it. You evaluate it
- 30:12Speaker 2: for me. Go down, Go down.
- 30:14Speaker 5: You got a leshie, that's do you want me to
- 30:19Speaker 5: read it?
- 30:19Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 30:20Speaker 2: Go ahead, all right?
- 30:21Speaker 3: Leshi four from hand five from reserve two Grass three
- 30:25Speaker 3: Mountain three water. Okay, fine, from anywhere if your hand
- 30:30Speaker 3: is empty, I gain two boosts. Otherwise I gain one boost.
- 30:35Speaker 3: From anywhere. If you control three or more characters, target
- 30:38Speaker 3: character gains two boosts. And then from reserve you may
- 30:42Speaker 3: put a card from your hand in reserve. If you do,
- 30:45Speaker 3: I gain one boost per expedition. In grass, this is great.
- 30:49Speaker 3: This is a great card. I don't like the first
- 30:52Speaker 3: ability just because your hand. You don't want your hand
- 30:55Speaker 3: to be empty. But even if it isn't, you're still
- 30:57Speaker 3: gaining one boost, so that's fine. In Muna, you often
- 31:01Speaker 3: will control at least three or more characters, so you're
- 31:04Speaker 3: getting those boosts, and then from reserve you're probably getting
- 31:09Speaker 3: two to three more boosts from that Grass for only
- 31:12Speaker 3: like a minus minus point five mana from having to
- 31:15Speaker 3: put a card from hand in reserve. So from hand
- 31:18Speaker 3: you're getting paying four mana and you're probably getting three
- 31:23Speaker 3: boosts on that character, so it is overstatted, and then
- 31:26Speaker 3: from reserve it is even more overstatted because you're getting
- 31:29Speaker 3: the additional boosts from it being in grass. So I
- 31:33Speaker 3: consider the boost in its stat consideration.
- 31:38Speaker 2: Yeah, it was funny though to listen to you read it,
- 31:40Speaker 2: because you went two three three.
- 31:43Speaker 1: Nah, exactly immediately. I don't know.
- 31:50Speaker 2: Yeah, but I'm glad you like it took everything.
- 31:53Speaker 1: It took everything you had in you four five two
- 31:58Speaker 1: three three. You like it hurt like you were. You
- 32:01Speaker 1: heard it in your voice, you like hurt your soul. Right,
- 32:04Speaker 1: you're like not good a little bit, and then you
- 32:08Speaker 1: read though, all right, well the boost make up for it.
- 32:12Speaker 1: It's good. Now. I don't know if it's great. It's good,
- 32:16Speaker 1: but like like this card's great, like you over compensated
- 32:20Speaker 1: there at the end, like prove me wrong.
- 32:22Speaker 5: Well, it's it's very playable.
- 32:24Speaker 3: I would not consider it like super solid ten dollars
- 32:28Speaker 3: card here, maybe fifteen. I would put it in a
- 32:30Speaker 3: moona deck. It's it's very good solid.
- 32:33Speaker 2: Yeah, any any unique not spectacular that you'll hear me
- 32:37Speaker 2: talk about or I'm using I unless I pulled it,
- 32:41Speaker 2: I can guarantee is twelve dollars or less. So that
- 32:46Speaker 2: less she was maybe ten dollars. Yeah, my loki was
- 32:54Speaker 2: six dollars. We can maybe talk about my loki uh
- 32:57Speaker 2: in a little bit.
- 32:58Speaker 1: I was gonna say this, less she feel it was
- 33:00Speaker 1: like a ten dollars card.
- 33:02Speaker 2: It's yeah, it's I think it was a great deal
- 33:05Speaker 2: for ten dollars. I won't say that it's like a
- 33:08Speaker 2: fifty dollars card.
- 33:10Speaker 1: But I feel like you paid a fair price.
- 33:14Speaker 2: People put way worse uniques for way more.
- 33:17Speaker 1: So, well, this is this is also a game where
- 33:21Speaker 1: you know there are some newer people out there who
- 33:23Speaker 1: are like uniques are great, and I pulled a unique
- 33:26Speaker 1: and that means it's the best thing ever, not really
- 33:28Speaker 1: realizing that there are bad versions of this card that
- 33:31Speaker 1: have the gold symbol above their name and not all
- 33:35Speaker 1: of them are worth much of anything.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yeap, wookie, how do you judge uniques?
- 33:40Speaker 1: I told a lot. I don't want to get into
- 33:42Speaker 1: how I judge.
- 33:43Speaker 2: Uniques, whether or not it's magpen hoarder.
- 33:46Speaker 1: Whether or not it's magpen horder. If it's magpen horder,
- 33:49Speaker 1: great unique, No I n I well, if rolling dice
- 33:56Speaker 1: is my thing, it's like my kryptonite. I just have
- 34:00Speaker 1: of a what do you call that? Should we say
- 34:04Speaker 1: kink for those type of for those type of like
- 34:08Speaker 1: magpen Horder, I don't know what it was. Came out
- 34:11Speaker 1: and trials by Frost, fell in love with it. Don't
- 34:14Speaker 1: know why. It's just my jams. So now I try
- 34:16Speaker 1: to connect. Now I try to collect them.
- 34:19Speaker 4: All.
- 34:22Speaker 2: Yeah, do you realize.
- 34:23Speaker 5: You read the story from it and everything and all?
- 34:26Speaker 1: Yeah? We did because I love them.
- 34:28Speaker 2: Do you realize you have people offering to send you
- 34:32Speaker 2: magpen hoarders in the YouTube comments?
- 34:34Speaker 1: I had no idea. Please send them to me a discord, discord.
- 34:39Speaker 2: I sent you a screenshot, but they were offering you
- 34:41Speaker 2: one that wasn't in Lyra.
- 34:43Speaker 1: No I accept. I am not. I accept all magpen
- 34:47Speaker 1: orders here. I'm trying to them. It's like Pokemon. I
- 34:52Speaker 1: need all of them I have, I've I have quite
- 34:57Speaker 1: a few. Now I don't have quite as many magpen
- 35:01Speaker 1: how quarters as Garrick's. You are you are winning in
- 35:04Speaker 1: that situation. I don't know because I'm also bad at
- 35:10Speaker 1: scanning my cards in and I'm not like you guys,
- 35:15Speaker 1: the the uh, the digital version isn't enough for me.
- 35:22Speaker 1: I need the physical version. So I have I have
- 35:27Speaker 1: I have seven one, two, three, four, five, six, and
- 35:31Speaker 1: then I have that one. I have seven magpen horder uniques,
- 35:35Speaker 1: all in Lyra.
- 35:37Speaker 5: How do you get all of those?
- 35:39Speaker 1: Well? People message and then they're like, I have this
- 35:41Speaker 1: bagpen hoarder and then you go, what do you want
- 35:44Speaker 1: for it? And they're like, I'll take this for it.
- 35:46Speaker 1: And I'll be like, all right, here's my address, what's
- 35:49Speaker 1: your PayPal?
- 35:51Speaker 3: And then they still a funky address that doesn't exist.
- 35:54Speaker 1: It's very old. I'm very old school dexter. I have
- 35:58Speaker 1: not perused the marketplace yet to any degree of any
- 36:03Speaker 1: sort really. I mean I've I've junked around on it,
- 36:06Speaker 1: but I'm not really like with all seriousness gone in
- 36:10Speaker 1: there and decided to like I'm going to look for
- 36:13Speaker 1: X y Z uniques. Yet once I decide to build
- 36:20Speaker 1: my Yazmir deck like and actually go ham with it,
- 36:26Speaker 1: then I probably will one of these days. But other
- 36:31Speaker 1: than that, like, I mean, it's got to be to
- 36:34Speaker 1: the deck, right that will it further? Will it further?
- 36:40Speaker 1: What your deck is trying to do? Less? She is
- 36:44Speaker 1: great and it really it really does work in a
- 36:50Speaker 1: moon a deck, right, But like this same unique in
- 36:54Speaker 1: a different and a different action probably doesn't work. Right.
- 37:01Speaker 1: It's just it's it's soup. This this game is so
- 37:06Speaker 1: it depends. It's not even funny. That's and that's I
- 37:10Speaker 1: don't think.
- 37:11Speaker 3: It is probably the most resistant to playing some big
- 37:15Speaker 3: characters because they got the spindles.
- 37:16Speaker 5: But here's lower.
- 37:19Speaker 1: But like move that into move that into move that
- 37:25Speaker 1: into Lyra. The cards now junk. Do you know what
- 37:30Speaker 1: I mean?
- 37:31Speaker 5: Say junk?
- 37:32Speaker 1: It's not okay. It is not nearly as playable as
- 37:35Speaker 1: the Muna one is.
- 37:36Speaker 5: Yes, it would be better in Moa than it would
- 37:38Speaker 5: move it.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Move it in their probably not as put probably not
- 37:43Speaker 1: nearly as.
- 37:44Speaker 5: Terrible, right, So.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It would go balls to the walls and artists, maybe
- 37:51Speaker 1: even in Broughton, Probably not in Bravos. Maybe in Bravos.
- 37:54Speaker 1: I give it a fifty to fifty shot. I guess
- 37:56Speaker 1: it depends again now here it is like if it's
- 37:58Speaker 1: in Bravos, it all depends your deck construction. Who's your hero,
- 38:02Speaker 1: what you're trying to do right, So it's it's this
- 38:06Speaker 1: game is such a it depends. It's like it is hard.
- 38:11Speaker 1: It is hard to like wrangle down what makes a
- 38:16Speaker 1: good unique.
- 38:18Speaker 2: Because why we're here to hopefully help.
- 38:22Speaker 1: Even then, like we could even be like this is
- 38:24Speaker 1: how you like, I feel kind of almost bad about
- 38:26Speaker 1: it because even then, even if we're like, this is
- 38:29Speaker 1: how you determine a good unique, it's very it depends, right,
- 38:34Speaker 1: There's there's no immediate answer, right, I think like the
- 38:37Speaker 1: biggest thing was is what we just said in the beginning, right,
- 38:40Speaker 1: If it is inherently worse than the rare or you know,
- 38:45Speaker 1: lesser versions, it's bad. So it's way easier to tell
- 38:49Speaker 1: you what's bad versus what's good.
- 38:52Speaker 2: Yeah, we'll get into uh here in a second. Some
- 38:57Speaker 2: other strategies that I think are easier to do than
- 39:02Speaker 2: seeking out like the very classic high power unique. I
- 39:08Speaker 2: think a lot of people don't spend the time to
- 39:10Speaker 2: do stuff like this, but the people that were in
- 39:14Speaker 2: the top of the recent qualifier definitely do this for
- 39:21Speaker 2: some part. So I think it's a good strategy to
- 39:25Speaker 2: at least consider what with your conversation previously, does everyone
- 39:32Speaker 2: here have a unique character that they have multiple of
- 39:38Speaker 2: on purpose next or might not, but I definitely do well.
- 39:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean obviously me and I feel like it's
- 39:49Speaker 1: just talked about ours on.
- 39:52Speaker 5: My uniques that I own, if you had one, you
- 39:56Speaker 5: would know of.
- 39:57Speaker 3: I own sixty four and none of them are multiple. Well,
- 40:02Speaker 3: I have two snow Maidens, but that's not on purpose.
- 40:04Speaker 3: All the ones that I have multiples on we're just playing.
- 40:07Speaker 1: Have multiples for fun, like you seek these out yep.
- 40:12Speaker 2: So mine is Arrows. I think I have four or
- 40:16Speaker 2: Arrows uniques. It is one of my favorite cards, and
- 40:21Speaker 2: some of the uniques are very fun. But another little
- 40:26Speaker 2: experiment here, Astro sent us a foundry mechanic to look at.
- 40:32Speaker 2: So this is one from hand to from reserve zero
- 40:36Speaker 2: one two on the stats and from when played from reserve,
- 40:42Speaker 2: I gained one boost and then it has the next permanent.
- 40:45Speaker 2: You play this afternoon costs one less. This is a
- 40:50Speaker 2: illegal unique. The normal foundry mechanic, whether it's common or rare,
- 40:57Speaker 2: is a lot better, and you probably want those instead.
- 41:01Speaker 2: That being said, disclaimer as usual. Yeah, this is a
- 41:06Speaker 2: unique you pulled and you don't have much else. It's
- 41:10Speaker 2: definitely playable, but if we are evaluating it, of whether
- 41:15Speaker 2: or not you should consider it, I would say no, Yeah.
- 41:19Speaker 4: It's like that foundry mechanic. I saw a well back
- 41:21Speaker 4: that has hooked attached to it. Yeah, one hand like
- 41:25Speaker 4: that was busted.
- 41:27Speaker 2: Yeah that would that would be interesting. But for the
- 41:32Speaker 2: for the next part, I was gonna have us talk
- 41:36Speaker 2: about unique strategies that we use for uniques. Haha, he
- 41:40Speaker 2: he ha ha huh. I think for me it's always
- 41:47Speaker 2: going to come down to dollar value because I am
- 41:52Speaker 2: I think never going to spend fifty dollars or more
- 41:56Speaker 2: on a unique unless I, like sell one of my uniques.
- 42:01Speaker 2: I'm not going to play for one hundred plus dollars.
- 42:04Speaker 2: I don't see myself doing that.
- 42:06Speaker 1: You would never ever consider it.
- 42:09Speaker 2: No, I don't think so so far, like you'd.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Never be like, oh, man, I think I'd really like
- 42:17Speaker 1: to get into the competitive sphere. I know you love
- 42:20Speaker 1: the judging sphere, but let's just say, like, man, I'd
- 42:22Speaker 1: really like to give the competitive sphere.
- 42:24Speaker 2: I do not love the judging sphere. Oh you do not, No,
- 42:29Speaker 2: I why are you so.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Obsessed with it?
- 42:32Speaker 2: I judge out of necessity and because there are not
- 42:36Speaker 2: as many judges and I judge for a job. But
- 42:39Speaker 2: if you were to give me the option and present
- 42:43Speaker 2: me the same pay for either, I would pick casting
- 42:47Speaker 2: one hundred percent of the time.
- 42:50Speaker 1: M Oh, I love casting too. Casting is fun. I
- 42:54Speaker 1: love doing casting.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I am not the best competitive place because I like
- 43:00Speaker 2: playing off meta, but I do compete very, very frequently.
- 43:05Speaker 1: You forget that those off meta players are the ones
- 43:08Speaker 1: that are the fucking trickiest. I'm actually you off meta
- 43:12Speaker 1: players that ruin somebody's day. Yeah, yep, I think because
- 43:18Speaker 1: all the meta players don't know how to handle it.
- 43:22Speaker 2: I have beaten free Loader more than anyone else. I
- 43:25Speaker 2: am his cryptonite.
- 43:27Speaker 5: So nice.
- 43:28Speaker 1: It's because it's the off metap I'm telling you something
- 43:30Speaker 1: about you off meta players. Like it's just every game
- 43:35Speaker 1: has them, and at every tournament you will ruin someone's
- 43:39Speaker 1: day because it's just that off meta is just like
- 43:43Speaker 1: they either they don't know how to handle it, so
- 43:46Speaker 1: it becomes very.
- 43:47Speaker 5: Difficult, doesn't have a tech for it.
- 43:49Speaker 1: Maybe well that too, but like it's just like it
- 43:52Speaker 1: just doesn't It's hard to handle off meta because the
- 43:56Speaker 1: decks are built towards meta, right, So yeah, the deck
- 43:59Speaker 1: not being able to handle it's very a very real thing,
- 44:03Speaker 1: because it's like, well, my deck is built to deal
- 44:06Speaker 1: with all the all the other bs that's in the meta,
- 44:10Speaker 1: and then you get this off metal player who's like,
- 44:12Speaker 1: just like I play for funzis they go like six
- 44:15Speaker 1: and one and I hate those players.
- 44:18Speaker 2: Yep, that that that is me. Yeah, I don't think
- 44:23Speaker 2: there is any situation where I would spend that amount
- 44:27Speaker 2: of money. I don't even know if I could think
- 44:29Speaker 2: of a type of unique off the top of my head,
- 44:33Speaker 2: I would spend that much. The other thing is is
- 44:36Speaker 2: I have like diagnosed ADHD, and that definitely comes across
- 44:43Speaker 2: in how I play games. Muna is by far my
- 44:48Speaker 2: favorite faction thematically and what I've built the most of.
- 44:53Speaker 2: But if you like, if someone were to try to
- 44:55Speaker 2: scout my recent games to get a handle on me
- 44:58Speaker 2: on BGA, it'd also be fucking confused because you don't.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Play style isn't consistent.
- 45:06Speaker 2: Yeah, it'll be like a roc a roc Novenka tsia.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Uh and then if you look really hard, there's a
- 45:13Speaker 2: CIGGI thrown in there.
- 45:16Speaker 5: Uh huh. So it's it's just if we hated the bureaucrats.
- 45:21Speaker 2: I do, I do. I just want to beat Astro
- 45:24Speaker 2: because uh he he uh thought he was hot stuff
- 45:33Speaker 2: eating me when I was playing around on a RAC,
- 45:35Speaker 2: so I switched to the scene like I have nice.
- 45:40Speaker 2: But yeah, I think if I were to spend that
- 45:43Speaker 2: much money on a Unique, I would not play it
- 45:46Speaker 2: for months at a time.
- 45:47Speaker 3: So yeah, for me, I think I'm similar to you
- 45:53Speaker 3: and Astro that I would very rarely spend more than
- 45:56Speaker 3: like ten dollars on a Unique. However, if I I
- 46:00Speaker 3: was specifically like preparing really hard for like a big tournament,
- 46:04Speaker 3: and I needed like three solid uniques to make my
- 46:07Speaker 3: deck really competitive, I would be willing to spend up
- 46:10Speaker 3: to like maybe fifty per unique and get three solid
- 46:14Speaker 3: uniques off the marketplace and get those printed out so
- 46:16Speaker 3: that I could have something solid and ready to go
- 46:18Speaker 3: for a big tournament if I'm really like grinding and
- 46:22Speaker 3: preparing for it. But I'm not really in that mindset
- 46:25Speaker 3: for this game right now.
- 46:29Speaker 1: I am in the camp of never say never right now.
- 46:33Speaker 1: With how casual I am, I could never see me
- 46:36Speaker 1: spending that kind of money. Why yeah, give me a
- 46:40Speaker 1: little bit of reason. I might. I might, I might.
- 46:45Speaker 1: You know, if I decide one day that I'm I'm
- 46:48Speaker 1: coming over full time, I'll never say never.
- 46:54Speaker 2: Yes.
- 46:54Speaker 1: I mean I've spent dumber money on keyfod.
- 46:57Speaker 2: So if yes, ever a world where I'm doing this
- 47:02Speaker 2: full time and it's literally my job to do it,
- 47:07Speaker 2: I think that's a different scenario. But as of now,
- 47:11Speaker 2: I just don't see myself spending fifty dollars or more.
- 47:15Speaker 2: I don't see my spell self spending thirty dollars or
- 47:19Speaker 2: more on a unique. I also really like just the
- 47:23Speaker 2: search and pulling them and you know, playing them when
- 47:27Speaker 2: I do. So to to go back around to the
- 47:35Speaker 2: unique strategy, my first and foremost is always finding a
- 47:39Speaker 2: good deal, and then I like to find just uniques.
- 47:44Speaker 1: That ah, you're a thriftun Yeah, that's that's what you are.
- 47:48Speaker 1: There's a title for people like you poor well beyond that.
- 47:55Speaker 2: But I also just really like building decks around uniques,
- 47:59Speaker 2: and I think I'll just run through it really quickly.
- 48:02Speaker 2: I already mentioned the Basira. At the qualifier that built
- 48:07Speaker 2: around card draw with occludes, there was Earleia who had
- 48:14Speaker 2: entirely unique lokis and made it to top thirty two
- 48:18Speaker 2: with Tasia. That's pretty cool. Be traced that one had
- 48:23Speaker 2: three unique a Nan seas. What else did we see
- 48:29Speaker 2: a lot of the funaces have had pretty typical uniques,
- 48:35Speaker 2: But I would honestly say the afaunas in top four,
- 48:39Speaker 2: at least one of them, from what I was tracking,
- 48:42Speaker 2: didn't have like one thousand dollars worth of a funas uniques.
- 48:46Speaker 2: They were very, uh, you know, mid range of funas uniques.
- 48:52Speaker 2: So those are the strategies I use. So if I
- 48:55Speaker 2: were to like tell you how to start searching for
- 48:58Speaker 2: a unique on the marketplace, I would say, figure out
- 49:01Speaker 2: what your budget is, because unless you have endless amounts
- 49:05Speaker 2: of money, you're gonna have a budget. Yeah, so we're
- 49:08Speaker 2: by price ascending and try to know like where your
- 49:13Speaker 2: budget is and then stop once you hit it.
- 49:16Speaker 1: Look, figure out what your budget is. Add two hundred dollars,
- 49:19Speaker 1: Eat ramen for a week?
- 49:21Speaker 2: Shit, No, no.
- 49:22Speaker 5: No, maybe not just eat water for a week.
- 49:25Speaker 1: Eat water for a week. Yeah yeah, eat water.
- 49:30Speaker 6: He's like, spend one hundred and fifty dollars on the card.
- 49:32Speaker 6: Is like, I'll just eat water for the next week.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Yep. Pick pick specific characters that typically have abilities that
- 49:40Speaker 2: you're interested in. If you play long enough, you'll realize
- 49:44Speaker 2: that certain characters are the ones that have the abilities
- 49:47Speaker 2: you want. Loki is the character that's going to cause
- 49:51Speaker 2: someone to discard their hand and reserve and you know, refresh.
- 49:57Speaker 2: A clue is going to have things around boosts, maybe exhausting.
- 50:01Speaker 2: Now we've seen maybe drawing cards. So if you narrow
- 50:05Speaker 2: it down, you're already in a faction, a character, a budget,
- 50:09Speaker 2: and then I usually go mana cost next, And if
- 50:15Speaker 2: there's like a nine mana cost Loki, I probably don't
- 50:18Speaker 2: even spend the time looking at it if I'm you know,
- 50:22Speaker 2: because even if it's a good Loki, I don't think
- 50:25Speaker 2: I want a nine man a Loki, you know what
- 50:28Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 50:30Speaker 6: It also had to realize that only three cards in
- 50:32Speaker 6: your deck are unique too.
- 50:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that is That is another thing, so don't go
- 50:37Speaker 2: too crazy. But I hear that Loco Nico of Hero's
- 50:46Speaker 2: Guide tw us Gartha pulled a Ala Vira, which we
- 50:50Speaker 2: just mentioned is an illegal unique in Muna. I honestly
- 50:56Speaker 2: don't know in Lyra for certain, I haven't looked at enough.
- 50:59Speaker 2: But if he wants to post the unique, we can
- 51:04Speaker 2: take a look at it and see what we think.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Dexter mentions Tom's unique search tool. If you know that
- 51:13Speaker 2: it exists, definitely use it. If you are in the
- 51:16Speaker 2: Altered Corner discord, I'll send you the link. Otherwise the
- 51:20Speaker 2: link is a little too weird to say, and it's
- 51:23Speaker 2: also in early testing. So yeah. Yeah, But if you
- 51:29Speaker 2: want a unique search tool, one exists. Another developer is
- 51:33Speaker 2: making a second one. You can find it or dm
- 51:38Speaker 2: me or something and I'll send you the link.
- 51:39Speaker 3: So and searching by price, sending what cost you're looking
- 51:46Speaker 3: for and what card you might be looking for is
- 51:49Speaker 3: definitely a good way to search for uniques.
- 51:53Speaker 2: What about anyone else? Are there any strategies there anything
- 51:56Speaker 2: you use when looking at uniques?
- 52:02Speaker 1: Mmm?
- 52:03Speaker 2: Just a lot of abilities.
- 52:07Speaker 6: I have the most fun looking for uniques that the
- 52:11Speaker 6: common or rare either have no abilities at all or
- 52:16Speaker 6: are just not good to begin with, because then the
- 52:20Speaker 6: unique can only just get better, like Kapa for example.
- 52:27Speaker 6: Like if you look at the Kapa and Lyra has
- 52:29Speaker 6: no abilities at all, so I mean the unique is
- 52:33Speaker 6: just going to be most of the time.
- 52:34Speaker 5: Just better overall. Yeah, that is true.
- 52:38Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 3: I think there's also one moon a character that is
- 52:42Speaker 3: also has no abilities on it.
- 52:45Speaker 5: I don't remember what it's called now, but.
- 52:46Speaker 2: Yeah, Mogli is one and unique.
- 52:51Speaker 5: Yeah, mog for costa.
- 52:56Speaker 2: I have a pretty good Mogli Unique. That's what I
- 53:00Speaker 2: used in my Tomorrow. It always gets comments when I
- 53:03Speaker 2: play it. I went up against someone in arena today
- 53:06Speaker 2: that had one that was way better that they said.
- 53:10Speaker 2: They just told today. It was nice. I think it
- 53:15Speaker 2: was from hand or might have been from anywhere. Draw
- 53:20Speaker 2: a card and then it had like if I have
- 53:25Speaker 2: a boost, whenever a character joins your expedition, give another
- 53:28Speaker 2: character a boost.
- 53:29Speaker 3: I was like, oh my gosh, for how much cost
- 53:33Speaker 3: it was like two or three that's ridiculous.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. It was cracked. And then they had
- 53:40Speaker 2: a Chiron that had the same ability when a character
- 53:44Speaker 2: joins your expedition give another character.
- 53:48Speaker 5: I actually seen some people with dull Munadex like that.
- 53:51Speaker 2: Yeah. I absolutely misplayed my Leshie and lost the game,
- 53:55Speaker 2: but it would have been hard either way. I've to
- 54:00Speaker 2: backtrack a bunch when Wiki, when Wiki, when Wookie said
- 54:04Speaker 2: he loves rolling dice, I put my Navenka deck in
- 54:08Speaker 2: our podcast DM. I think you'd have a lot of
- 54:12Speaker 2: fun with this deck. So there's there's one that you
- 54:15Speaker 2: can look to build.
- 54:18Speaker 5: I think your niece sucks. Swap that out for something better.
- 54:24Speaker 2: You I think you're I think I do use something better.
- 54:27Speaker 2: Let me take a look though. I'll get back to
- 54:29Speaker 2: you on that. All right, we have this Allo, Okay,
- 54:33Speaker 2: so it's a three from hand, three from reserve, three
- 54:37Speaker 2: one four from anywhere if you control two or more
- 54:41Speaker 2: plants other than me target character in your other expedition
- 54:44Speaker 2: games two boosts. Okay, that's bad. At noon, each player
- 54:48Speaker 2: puts your top part of their deck in their manizone.
- 54:51Speaker 5: Yeah, nope, pass terrible as not good.
- 54:56Speaker 2: That's illegal if you hold it, as we said, and
- 55:01Speaker 2: you're not paying money for it. It's definitely playable, but
- 55:05Speaker 2: it does not do what Alo is made to do,
- 55:11Speaker 2: and at noon will always be worse than at dusk,
- 55:16Speaker 2: especially if it doesn't self occur.
- 55:20Speaker 3: I think the only possible case that this could be
- 55:23Speaker 3: even slightly considerable to put in a deck is if
- 55:26Speaker 3: you're going with heavy ramp moon a deck where you
- 55:30Speaker 3: get like hydro Senas and other big cards out early.
- 55:34Speaker 3: And that's really not.
- 55:38Speaker 5: That's never been viable for Moona really.
- 55:41Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, if you want to find some really
- 55:45Speaker 2: crazy ramp nick, you should look for Aja uniques. You
- 55:51Speaker 2: would be surprised on the amount of uniques that ramp too,
- 55:57Speaker 2: and multiple times they ramp too. So yeah, I would
- 56:03Speaker 2: not play this unless I had to, or unless I
- 56:06Speaker 2: had a deck that was playing zero allos for some reason,
- 56:09Speaker 2: which I have done before. But yeah, the fact that
- 56:12Speaker 2: it can't anchor itself is really rough. And then it's
- 56:17Speaker 2: two or more plants, not two or more characters. It
- 56:21Speaker 2: has to be plants, so kind of rough there as well. Yeah,
- 56:29Speaker 2: I think that takes us through kind of most of
- 56:32Speaker 2: the unique thing. But the last question before we get
- 56:35Speaker 2: to the fun little game is what uniques do you
- 56:39Speaker 2: think are slept on? Slipt on?
- 56:45Speaker 1: Hmmm, I don't know if uniques get slept on in
- 56:52Speaker 1: this game?
- 56:56Speaker 2: Am I the only one that can answer this question?
- 56:59Speaker 1: I think? So, well, what would you consider an.
- 57:02Speaker 5: I don't have a good answer.
- 57:03Speaker 1: I don't have a good one. I don't think a
- 57:05Speaker 1: lot of uniques can slept on. I think I think
- 57:07Speaker 1: everyone tries to put uniques to use, Like we just
- 57:11Speaker 1: saw a couple and it's like, yeah, these.
- 57:14Speaker 3: High cost ones obviously are going to get more slept
- 57:17Speaker 3: on because people are just like high cost bad. So
- 57:22Speaker 3: I know you probably think arrows is slept On. No
- 57:25Speaker 3: other people do this too, Wookie, it was not me first.
- 57:28Speaker 3: Other people did this too.
- 57:29Speaker 1: Well, you picked up a bad habit from someone else.
- 57:32Speaker 2: Dexter does the thing of where he doesn't look at
- 57:35Speaker 2: it if it costs more than four and also if
- 57:39Speaker 2: it doesn't have very good stats.
- 57:41Speaker 5: I've I've changed it up a little bit.
- 57:43Speaker 3: These this newest set has introduced some high cost characters
- 57:47Speaker 3: that are uniques.
- 57:48Speaker 5: That are still very playable.
- 57:50Speaker 2: Yeah. So my theory on slept On uniques is a
- 58:00Speaker 2: big part of it is high mana uniques. You can
- 58:05Speaker 2: usually get pretty dang good ones or for pretty cheap
- 58:10Speaker 2: low price because people value low curve so much. I think.
- 58:17Speaker 2: The other thing that people don't think of as often
- 58:21Speaker 2: is if a card is just not playable at common
- 58:26Speaker 2: or rare, that's like the perfect card to look for
- 58:29Speaker 2: uniques of.
- 58:32Speaker 4: Earlier.
- 58:33Speaker 2: Yeah, you might. You might find like a gem that
- 58:37Speaker 2: just no one's looking at because it's not a character
- 58:40Speaker 2: people see before the qualifier we had this weekend, Loki
- 58:47Speaker 2: was in a really weird spot, I think because it
- 58:53Speaker 2: was Loki and there were some really cool ones from
- 58:57Speaker 2: the Kickstarter and it had Altar and YadA Ya to.
- 59:00Speaker 2: Some of them were priced really high, but there were
- 59:05Speaker 2: a lot that you could get for really cheap. And
- 59:10Speaker 2: as soon as the Hunger came out, and I said
- 59:13Speaker 2: this like four times during the broadcast this weekend, as
- 59:17Speaker 2: soon as the Hunger came out, I bought a Loki
- 59:19Speaker 2: Unique for five dollars. And I'll tell you what mine
- 59:23Speaker 2: is here in a second.
- 59:25Speaker 1: Why don't you tell us what years are? Years is? Now?
- 59:30Speaker 4: Got it?
- 59:31Speaker 2: You got to hear the whole story.
- 59:32Speaker 1: First, we tell the story.
- 59:35Speaker 2: Loki uniques super you know, undervalued for a while. Hunger
- 59:40Speaker 2: came out, I jumped on it. Over the weekend, there
- 59:44Speaker 2: was a Novenka that made it into Top four that
- 59:50Speaker 2: was based around Loki uniques, and then Earleia played a
- 59:55Speaker 2: Tajia deck that was based around Loki uniques. Now all
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: all of the Loki uniques for under like one hundred
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: dollars have sold.
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: Uh well.
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: Wow, I will say that my Loki is not the
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: one that people usually put for like one hundred plus dollars.
- 1:00:21Speaker 2: But remind remind you your own brain, because I started
- 1:00:25Speaker 2: that drammatically weird. I got this for five dollars and
- 1:00:31Speaker 2: it is, in my opinion, very good for five dollars.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: Oh, I think one hundred dollars. I don't know where
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: I heard that from, but my brain is going off,
- 1:00:42Speaker 1: but yeah, one hundred five dollars.
- 1:00:44Speaker 2: Yep. So it is a seven from hand, seven from reserve,
- 1:00:49Speaker 2: six three three, and it has When I leave the
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: expedition zone, each player discards their hand and their reserve,
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: then draws three cards. Second ability is kind of whatever,
- 1:01:05Speaker 2: but it's good if if I get it to go.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: When another character joins your expeditions, you may put a
- 1:01:11Speaker 2: card from your hand in reserve. If you do up
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: to two target characters each game, one boost. So the
- 1:01:18Speaker 2: reason text, yeah, the reason that I also really like
- 1:01:22Speaker 2: this one is because when I leave expedition is always
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: going to be like three times better than when I
- 1:01:32Speaker 2: go from expedition to reserve. This basically says Vin's voice,
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: like I have Devin Forrest when I'm played in Tasia.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: If you want to win against me in Forest, you
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: have to remove it, and you're going to lose your
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: reserve in hand. So it does not get removed very often,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: and then at the end of the day it's played,
- 1:01:57Speaker 2: the ability happens.
- 1:01:59Speaker 3: I like my Loki better because it's on play from anywhere,
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: so it happens immediately and there's no delay.
- 1:02:07Speaker 2: Yeah, from anywhere. If you have a from anywhere that
- 1:02:10Speaker 2: is not nine manna, that's probably a two hundred dollars
- 1:02:13Speaker 2: plus unique.
- 1:02:15Speaker 5: I think mine is six, but it's not that good.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: If it's does it do the normal loki though?
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: I think it only discards reserve, or it only discards
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: one of them.
- 1:02:27Speaker 5: It's not both reserve and hand.
- 1:02:28Speaker 6: I think it's either hand or reserve for both, I
- 1:02:31Speaker 6: mean hand or hand and reserve.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: It still might be one you can sell for one
- 1:02:36Speaker 2: hundred dollars now, but from anywhere discard.
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: I have it listed on the marketplace at twenty and
- 1:02:43Speaker 3: no one's fighting, So.
- 1:02:45Speaker 2: Yeah, it has to have both or it's not really.
- 1:02:50Speaker 5: Oh wait, no, I lied. Mine's not what I thought
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: it was. Never mind.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, so yours is similar to mine, but not
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: as good. I would not be surprised if it gets
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: bought for twenty dollars here soon though.
- 1:03:07Speaker 1: All right, we.
- 1:03:08Speaker 2: Missed some of the live chat. I don't think we
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: can get to all of it.
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: No, let's go into the Patreon question for this week.
- 1:03:19Speaker 1: Up in here, we were were got. We've gone a
- 1:03:21Speaker 1: little bit over the hour. Let's let's get to the
- 1:03:24Speaker 1: Patreon uniques. Felix, what did you ask this week from Patreon?
- 1:03:30Speaker 6: Actually did not ask anything.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: I don't know about we uh, we can move our
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: little unique game to next episode. Yeah, we'll save it
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: in the notes. The Patreon question is if they were
- 1:03:50Speaker 2: going to add a superhero group MCU, DC, Dragon Ball Team,
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: and t et cetera, which group of heroes would you
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: want to see in here and under which.
- 1:04:00Speaker 1: Faction dragon Ball Z.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: I've never watched any of the dragon ball Z stuff.
- 1:04:08Speaker 1: Well, get good kid, d.
- 1:04:14Speaker 4: H hmm.
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: So my philosophy, as always with altered, is only put
- 1:04:20Speaker 2: it in altered if it is in the way that
- 1:04:24Speaker 2: they do like legends and myth and things like that,
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: and then you know they make it the altered way.
- 1:04:33Speaker 2: So I honestly don't care about any of these specifically
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: being in altered And I don't know if I don't
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: know if there's even one.
- 1:04:47Speaker 1: Aren't they just the new legends and myths?
- 1:04:51Speaker 5: Yeah, there's like.
- 1:04:56Speaker 1: I know, but like two hundred years from now, they're
- 1:04:58Speaker 1: gonna be like, oh, the myth of God.
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: Oh, because because we don't actually believe that Goku is
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: a god that exists, and you know, the ancient days
- 1:05:06Speaker 3: they actually thought that like Foth and Quetzelkotal were like
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: mythical beings.
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: Yeah, but we I mean, that's a little bit thing.
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: That's what we think now. But those could have just
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: been stories back then. I mean, we don't really know.
- 1:05:20Speaker 1: You weren't a were you there?
- 1:05:24Speaker 5: No?
- 1:05:24Speaker 3: But I've had a lot of history lessons where they're
- 1:05:26Speaker 3: like they thought that they were gods to this and
- 1:05:30Speaker 3: that and the other.
- 1:05:30Speaker 1: But did you know that the Aztecs didn't really call
- 1:05:33Speaker 1: themselves as texts.
- 1:05:36Speaker 5: Nope, didn't know that at all.
- 1:05:38Speaker 1: Yeah, they're called they called themselves Mexicans, but like it
- 1:05:42Speaker 1: got too confusing with Mexico, so historians just changed it
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: to astexts because they got tired of trying to make
- 1:05:50Speaker 1: the distinction. So now the blur between reality, myth and
- 1:05:54Speaker 1: fact is like nobody knows what's what's real, what's reality,
- 1:05:58Speaker 1: what's myth, what's fact, what's what's not. You don't know
- 1:06:02Speaker 1: that they believed that. You just know that they this
- 1:06:05Speaker 1: is a thing that that you think story of it,
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: But this just could have been a television show they
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: watched way back when, and all of a sudden, we're like, yeah,
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: they thought they were real.
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I would say technically the mc U already exists
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: in altered with and Loki and Loki a word Loki.
- 1:06:29Speaker 2: And what's the one that's actually a card because Thor
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: is not actually a card yet.
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: No, but.
- 1:06:36Speaker 5: Tim dol No, it's literally as a card, and it's
- 1:06:40Speaker 5: also in the MCU.
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: But this is true.
- 1:06:43Speaker 2: It's literally the card that Thor is on his foot.
- 1:06:46Speaker 2: It's a oh.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: We went through this on a show and I don't
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: remember what it is.
- 1:06:54Speaker 5: That's not that's not mc U.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: It's in Bravos and it's like never played anyways.
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: Achilles, but that's not Achilles.
- 1:07:08Speaker 2: The MCU.
- 1:07:10Speaker 1: Yeah, Hercules, not Hercules.
- 1:07:13Speaker 5: Is in the mc winners Achilles and Hercules and the mc.
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: For like the sixties, they have all those gods. I
- 1:07:21Speaker 1: guess a lot of those gods are in there. They
- 1:07:24Speaker 1: took a lot of Greek mythology. And that's that's the thing.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: It's real. He's right, yep.
- 1:07:32Speaker 5: Dracula is also this is the only answer that we
- 1:07:35Speaker 5: have dragons and already.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: I love dragon ball Z anything anytime ever, dragon ball Z.
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: And the other thing is I just heard that Magic's
- 1:07:46Speaker 1: about to release a Star Trek Secret Layer, and now
- 1:07:49Speaker 1: I'm thinking about going and playing Magic, okay, because I
- 1:07:54Speaker 1: love Star Trek.
- 1:07:58Speaker 6: Yeah, I would have the might have been Avatar the
- 1:08:01Speaker 6: Last Airbender and that lore.
- 1:08:04Speaker 2: That it's in that show.
- 1:08:05Speaker 5: Yeah, that's cool.
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: There's a lot of.
- 1:08:11Speaker 1: M hmm. That's probably the one that the most lore accurate, right,
- 1:08:15Speaker 1: the one that's easilyest, most easily adaptable. All right, what
- 1:08:23Speaker 1: do we got? We gotta still to go through. Call
- 1:08:27Speaker 1: what's what's shaken?
- 1:08:29Speaker 2: Yeah? So on Tuesdays as usual before that, during the day,
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: if you're free, there is a q Z Blitz. AQZ
- 1:08:40Speaker 2: has all their normal tournaments Blitz the nu See Thursday Championship.
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: A wall will be on Monday and Wednesday. I am
- 1:08:50Speaker 2: pretty sure I am hosting the A Wall stream tomorrow
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: for the well Monday, so come hang out then. If
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: you miss the coverage of lel the French qualifier that
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: happened over the weekend, I absolutely recommend you go over
- 1:09:11Speaker 2: to YouTube and watch the VODs that are already there
- 1:09:16Speaker 2: on the A wall channel. They were very good games.
- 1:09:21Speaker 2: I think some of the games they even picked in
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Swiss were highly entertaining, so they did a good job
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: of picking cool matchups, and yeah, go play in your
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: weekly organized play. Tell your story to do weekly organized play,
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: and that'll do it.
- 1:09:42Speaker 1: Yeah, all right, that's gonna be all for this week.
- 1:09:51Speaker 1: We won't see you guys next week. Of those, you
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: guys want to do an episode and I'll send it
- 1:09:55Speaker 1: to me and I'll edit it because I will be
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: in the Bault of more trying to win key forge things.
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: Maybe i'll be in Texas soon like two months, trying
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: to alter, trying to win altered things which I won't win.
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: We'll see, but that being said, we'll see y'all next week.
