- 0:33Speaker 5: Is it just.
- 0:38Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it BG.
- 0:39Speaker 6: I'm gonna go on the way.
- 0:40Speaker 2: You may vegan. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, you're listening to the
- 0:47Speaker 2: Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Candy. Good
- 0:50Speaker 2: morning to you live here in Atlanta, Georgia. Always great
- 0:57Speaker 2: to be with you on Mondays. Uh and during football season,
- 1:02Speaker 2: so many storylines to try to sweeze into two hours.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Because of the chaos that happens in all these games,
- 1:11Speaker 2: sometimes we forget to even go back to Saturday and
- 1:15Speaker 2: get some of that college action in, or even to
- 1:18Speaker 2: the Thursday night games or the Friday night games. Things
- 1:22Speaker 2: get lost in translation sometimes, but we are here for
- 1:26Speaker 2: the next two hours. Comand see Greg Big Kenny, the
- 1:29Speaker 2: funny man himself, and the bad producer. Tonight Monday Night
- 1:33Speaker 2: football If it was a college game, they would call
- 1:36Speaker 2: it the egg Bowl. Because both teams are winless, the
- 1:42Speaker 2: j Ats, Jets, Jets, Jets. I like, how you kind
- 1:46Speaker 2: of right it? Okay, okay taking on the Dolphins tonight.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Both teams are zero to three. This game. For statistics
- 1:56Speaker 2: and all you mathematicians out there, I think Greg did
- 2:02Speaker 2: the math on Thursday where he said only one team
- 2:05Speaker 2: in history that started and four. Wasn't it something you did?
- 2:10Speaker 2: Or was it one in three that started and four
- 2:12Speaker 2: and made the playoffs? Yeah? And what year was that?
- 2:14Speaker 2: Do you remember? X V I think it was x
- 2:23Speaker 2: x v H I I think not not that far
- 2:26Speaker 2: it was, And I want to talk trash about so
- 2:34Speaker 2: you know, basically this game, for the most part, we'll
- 2:38Speaker 2: steal one of these teams faked or both I think
- 2:44Speaker 2: or both. Well, I'm saying somebody's fate is going to
- 2:49Speaker 2: be seen where they don't make the playoffs, and somebody's
- 2:52Speaker 2: fate may be where they lose a job tonight.
- 2:55Speaker 7: So you know, I think that's that's very possible for
- 3:00Speaker 7: Mike McDaniel, the Dolphins coach, I think with Aaron Glynn,
- 3:03Speaker 7: I think he's going to get at least the season.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Okay, but yeah is safe. Yeah, he was a higher
- 3:11Speaker 2: that they they're going to keep around. He's not on
- 3:16Speaker 2: the hot seat. You look at the Jets roster, you
- 3:20Speaker 2: didn't really think they were going to make the playoffs. Playoffs,
- 3:24Speaker 2: You just you didn't see them being going for either.
- 3:26Speaker 2: But you didn't see a playoff team, Whereas on the
- 3:30Speaker 2: other side down in South Florida, Mike McDaniel the season,
- 3:34Speaker 2: it was already on Simmer his quarterback and Tyreek Hill.
- 3:40Speaker 2: I believe, as I said a month ago, I don't
- 3:44Speaker 2: know why you just didn't trade Tyreek Hill. There's a
- 3:47Speaker 2: perfect time when there's a player still has some values.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Other teams are desperate for a top receiver. Mainly, I
- 3:58Speaker 2: say that because you don't have the team either, and
- 4:03Speaker 2: this man may be able to bring some pieces to
- 4:06Speaker 2: you that help you be the team. We fall in
- 4:12Speaker 2: love as fans, We fall in love as people that
- 4:15Speaker 2: follow these teams based on name brand and forget there's
- 4:19Speaker 2: a business, there's a strategy the whole Michael Parsons, It's like, yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 2: but there's gonna be this occasion where there's a time
- 4:28Speaker 2: to use a person. Do you think just adding Michael
- 4:31Speaker 2: Parsons to this defense for two hundred million dollars fixes
- 4:37Speaker 2: the defense. It's four of us in the office. We're
- 4:40Speaker 2: trying to figure this out. This is no knock against
- 4:44Speaker 2: Michael Parsons. This strategy needs to be applied to some
- 4:47Speaker 2: of these quarterbacks math. These are math problems. Not take
- 4:52Speaker 2: your problems. Have an assistant, go get us something to eat.
- 4:58Speaker 2: They need to pull up a chair. We don't I
- 5:00Speaker 2: need many voices on it. It's just having this one
- 5:03Speaker 2: person going to turn things around. And some of these
- 5:09Speaker 2: teams get locked. Okay, I'm gonna get his quarterback two
- 5:12Speaker 2: hundred and forty million. Now what is that gonna do?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Is that the way to go? And you gotta be
- 5:21Speaker 2: a little broader than oh the fans think this or no.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I can see why Jerry Jones would have paid Michael Parsons,
- 5:28Speaker 2: and I could see why he was sitting there like
- 5:31Speaker 2: I got two or three corners hurt. I don't have
- 5:34Speaker 2: nobody on the other side. I'm really in a rebuild.
- 5:38Speaker 2: But you don't really say rebuild in the pros because
- 5:42Speaker 2: there's no graduation class. That's not that some juniors and
- 5:46Speaker 2: seniors left, and so if we don't rebuild. We try
- 5:49Speaker 2: to reload. Okay, me putting Michael Parsons over here will do.
- 5:55Speaker 8: What did you see Jerry Jones's pregame interview when they
- 6:01Speaker 8: were leading into the game. Football Night in America was
- 6:04Speaker 8: covering it and they had him co anchor with them,
- 6:09Speaker 8: and it really wasn't him commenting on the game as
- 6:13Speaker 8: much as it was them interviewing him about the Michael
- 6:16Speaker 8: Parsons trade. And he said, essentially what you did, look,
- 6:20Speaker 8: five people for one person. Sision kind of makes itself,
- 6:24Speaker 8: you know. And then he went into tooling for now
- 6:30Speaker 8: but still being able to expand in the future and
- 6:33Speaker 8: the things like that, and it's at the bottom line,
- 6:35Speaker 8: and this is business. Everybody's emotional and Michael's a great
- 6:39Speaker 8: guy and he's a super player. But at the end
- 6:42Speaker 8: of the day, I got into this as a business
- 6:45Speaker 8: and that's how he treats it.
- 6:46Speaker 2: Yeah, the Falcons here with the Kirk cout. Wasn't people
- 6:50Speaker 2: like to blame Kirk because somebody called you with one
- 6:53Speaker 2: hundred and fifty million they had like Kirk called the Falcons.
- 6:58Speaker 2: I'm talking when you said ndred and fifty million, I
- 7:00Speaker 2: got a little choke, right. Somebody called you. Yes, got
- 7:04Speaker 2: called them all this this is man. What you doing?
- 7:07Speaker 2: Oh man? I was out here just getting a little
- 7:09Speaker 2: stretch in. You know, I heard I blew my achilles
- 7:12Speaker 2: last year, so trying to rehab that, get back together. Yeah,
- 7:16Speaker 2: bron May Man, you think you want to want to
- 7:20Speaker 2: get back in the game, Well yeah, I was looking
- 7:23Speaker 2: to get another season in, man, But it's gonna be tough,
- 7:25Speaker 2: you know, coming off of this achilles. Yeah. Man, we
- 7:28Speaker 2: opened the vikings. You know, show me some love and
- 7:31Speaker 2: look now, if they don't, I got a fifty million
- 7:35Speaker 2: dollars excuse me, one hundred and fifty million dollars for
- 7:39Speaker 2: you if you to do what to get back in
- 7:43Speaker 2: the game. Man. You know we we we appreciate you
- 7:45Speaker 2: down here where you say you at. This is Atlanta, Atlanta. Remember,
- 7:53Speaker 2: remember I'm trying to make sure a frank call. I mean,
- 7:57Speaker 2: did you say one hundred and fifty million? One hundred?
- 8:00Speaker 2: I got some connections down there. Yeah. Yeah. My wife
- 8:03Speaker 2: people really my wife people. You said you said they
- 8:06Speaker 2: live in Miami, so they from they kind of from
- 8:09Speaker 2: the Atlanta area. And people be acting like Kurt would
- 8:12Speaker 2: be like, no, man, don't don't, don't give me that money.
- 8:15Speaker 2: I can't believe y'all want to know. I'm gonna take
- 8:17Speaker 2: the money because you let the fans push you in
- 8:21Speaker 2: a box of trying to placate them. Instantly, instant. It
- 8:27Speaker 2: was just an instant they were going with the instant coffee.
- 8:32Speaker 2: They didn't want you to sit there and turn the
- 8:34Speaker 2: beans and wait, wait, wait, you know I won't go
- 8:37Speaker 2: through aut it. I just want, like old back in
- 8:41Speaker 2: the sixties, just put some of that folders in a
- 8:43Speaker 2: cup and let's keep it. You know, you should do
- 8:46Speaker 2: it real back then. Let me talk about it. Just
- 8:48Speaker 2: a white cup, some coffee substance in some instant, yeah,
- 8:53Speaker 2: instant if I don't say tough and rugged, but sportsn
- 8:57Speaker 2: grandma had two cups of it because that's the only
- 8:59Speaker 2: way she put up. He do a whole pot, Grandpama,
- 9:03Speaker 2: do a whole pot.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Now you go to the grocery store and put the
- 9:06Speaker 4: beans in the bag, and my grandfather would get it up.
- 9:11Speaker 4: But in the falcons fans defense, how long is they
- 9:14Speaker 4: break that ain't got to put a quick break.
- 9:16Speaker 2: They't been waiting long enough. It's not on somebody that
- 9:19Speaker 2: can work. If you can totally get out of focus bab.
- 9:23Speaker 2: I get that of just making choices to fix now
- 9:28Speaker 2: or fix, but a lot of these teams need to weigh.
- 9:32Speaker 2: I wouldn't have gave two of the contract no knock
- 9:35Speaker 2: on tour, but do you really look out on the
- 9:37Speaker 2: feeling that tour. We're not sold out, so he don't
- 9:42Speaker 2: have the fan impact. So I got to have one
- 9:47Speaker 2: or two things. Either the fans come, and that's why
- 9:50Speaker 2: people Lebron is the king, just like Michael Jordan was
- 9:55Speaker 2: the king, and Kobe and Shaq there was there's one
- 9:57Speaker 2: or two kings a year that decorates your stadium that
- 10:03Speaker 2: people come, they don't care. And if they find to
- 10:06Speaker 2: find a Steph Curry Hawk ticket right now, and if
- 10:10Speaker 2: and if he's not playing, they're selling the ticket trying
- 10:13Speaker 2: to sell it back, they upset. That's not the effect
- 10:17Speaker 2: that Kawhi Leonard has. H You don't bump into people
- 10:22Speaker 2: at Lenox Mall talking about man, I'm about to get
- 10:24Speaker 2: clean for Kawhi. No, but we were talking about two.
- 10:29Speaker 2: They talk about some kind of white man. You know,
- 10:32Speaker 2: I ordered them new ones, some new ones, the new one,
- 10:36Speaker 2: the whole You're gonna be rocking, just the whole Lakers.
- 10:38Speaker 2: The new new new tag on it.
- 10:41Speaker 8: Everything everything with a box of jewelry.
- 10:45Speaker 2: That's it, the whole thing. I'm bringing the whole box
- 10:48Speaker 2: with So just the thing, the Jets, the Dolphins, and
- 10:51Speaker 2: then the game. Uh that starts at eight fifteen the baptiser.
- 10:55Speaker 2: I mentioned this the other day. Last week one started
- 10:59Speaker 2: like seven, started at ten. This week the game started
- 11:03Speaker 2: about forty five minutes apart. Where the Bengals are taking
- 11:06Speaker 2: on the Bronco, so kind of a dual hitter. I
- 11:10Speaker 2: don't really you know, but I'm not in the office.
- 11:13Speaker 2: And remember these people are in there cooking, and they
- 11:17Speaker 2: make enough money now and they're in bed with ESPN
- 11:21Speaker 2: the NFL now, so they're trying to figure out how
- 11:26Speaker 2: their juice. So I said, ABC seems to be doing
- 11:29Speaker 2: in football. We're not even gonna put something against We'll
- 11:34Speaker 2: just show you two on both that. We'll show you
- 11:36Speaker 2: one on ESPN and one on ABC until we get
- 11:39Speaker 2: around to our most popular show, something like The Bachelor
- 11:43Speaker 2: or something that can be compete. But we're not about
- 11:45Speaker 2: the Ally mcbeill now won't stand up against the GAT
- 11:51Speaker 2: So ain't no need to I get more viewers of
- 11:54Speaker 2: the Bengals Broncos than putting on some regular TV. That's
- 12:00Speaker 2: they're doing the.
- 12:01Speaker 4: Math Midwest West coast, and I just get everybody.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Numbers.
- 12:07Speaker 8: What about that fan of one of those teams that
- 12:09Speaker 8: would have had a chance to go to the game
- 12:11Speaker 8: on a Sunday when they were off.
- 12:13Speaker 2: But y'all have just restricted my team till Monday.
- 12:17Speaker 4: But do that, but everybody on Monday night, everybody that
- 12:21Speaker 4: was the thing to get a Monday night.
- 12:23Speaker 2: They're making you take you sick days now. From what
- 12:25Speaker 2: I hear in court, you can't just no more. Pt
- 12:28Speaker 2: ain't rolling over. You ain't take them. You gotta take
- 12:32Speaker 2: them because ain't no more. Look, I got eighteen years
- 12:34Speaker 2: worth of six days. You gotta take them within the
- 12:37Speaker 2: twelve months. Lose lose them. We'll be back more of
- 12:40Speaker 2: the Sports Jock Show right after this. The state ain't
- 12:44Speaker 2: nobody gave us. And that's why we cried, Wait my
- 12:47Speaker 2: grandma if in search of them in the fridge and freighter,
- 12:51Speaker 2: search of the biggest soda.

- 16:15Speaker 2: Welco back to this boy, shot Shot, I'm this boy
- 16:17Speaker 2: shot ka Wayne again De Santa Cholara. Next February Super
- 16:23Speaker 2: Bowl is ready for you, guys. Bad Bunny, it's performing
- 16:31Speaker 2: at I have time and I must say I'm not
- 16:39Speaker 2: I'm not getting it. No, not on you, Bunny. But
- 16:48Speaker 2: other than your name, I don't know your style of music.
- 16:54Speaker 2: I don't know really any song that you do. I'm
- 17:00Speaker 2: I'm quite sure if Commandchi played whatever your most popular, sure,
- 17:04Speaker 2: then I've oh, but now you're in that category, then
- 17:09Speaker 2: you're not really in really any category. Now, huge stage.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I've always felt like we have made this halftime thing
- 17:20Speaker 2: way too complicated. It's your biggest pop star. That's who
- 17:30Speaker 2: everybody can run their tentacles through. Biggest pop star. What
- 17:35Speaker 2: do you like the music or not? That's whoever it is.
- 17:40Speaker 2: Taylor probably had too many demands. I'm sure you wanted
- 17:43Speaker 2: to bring her, but she probably wanted to, you know,
- 17:49Speaker 2: tear down the whole stage to be paid. She wanted
- 17:51Speaker 2: to be paid. Yeah, why shouldn't she? Why shouldn't she?
- 17:55Speaker 2: Everybody else has decided that money is keen everybody. Yeah,
- 18:02Speaker 2: like what what everybody else is? Don't need for me?
- 18:07Speaker 2: Just want to be paid at a certain level. Now,
- 18:10Speaker 2: everybody wants to be paid.
- 18:11Speaker 7: So, I mean, you know, the the art, the one
- 18:14Speaker 7: who performs doesn't what What's what's exposure to Taylor?
- 18:18Speaker 2: The sales going forward? Is she going to get a
- 18:20Speaker 2: new audience? Is she gonna is she gonna expose herself
- 18:24Speaker 2: for peoples? Correct? Other than profit? Why would she do it?
- 18:31Speaker 2: In her mind? And you have in her mind? You
- 18:33Speaker 2: have used me for three seasons to sell football. I
- 18:39Speaker 2: didn't tell you I was in this stadium. You kept
- 18:42Speaker 2: flashing to me. You put this certain producer out on
- 18:46Speaker 2: the field, and his whole job today was to continue
- 18:50Speaker 2: to try to find glimpses of you in the booth.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I didn't tell you I was at the game, did not,
- 18:57Speaker 2: did not. You can't you keep finding? So you used
- 19:01Speaker 2: me in a way just like I used you. We've
- 19:04Speaker 2: been using each other. The only difference is I haven't
- 19:07Speaker 2: been directly getting viewership or money from it. But we
- 19:13Speaker 2: used each other, and I like to get paid. Come
- 19:18Speaker 2: on minute a bit. But you wouldn't have got Bad Bunny. Okay.
- 19:21Speaker 8: I thought you had bad brains at first, and I
- 19:24Speaker 8: was like, Wow, which is only a couple of houses down?
- 19:30Speaker 2: Now are you guys? How do y'all feel about the
- 19:33Speaker 2: selection of Bad Money? I would question why? Now.
- 19:39Speaker 8: Bad Bunny just came off of a record breaking, ground
- 19:47Speaker 8: breaking world tour that culminated with like a month of
- 19:53Speaker 8: performances in es, Puerto Rico, where for the first part
- 19:58Speaker 8: of those performances only Puerto Rican citizens could attend. Right now,
- 20:04Speaker 8: he is positioning himself as some sort of political figure
- 20:11Speaker 8: making social statements. Why now would he be the person too?
- 20:17Speaker 8: And most of his music the reason you don't know
- 20:19Speaker 8: what it is is because even when they play it
- 20:22Speaker 8: on the radio, it's la it's basically salsa Caribbean afrobeat
- 20:30Speaker 8: type of music, so it's very targeted to a demographic.
- 20:36Speaker 8: So this is supposed to be the family friendly all
- 20:39Speaker 8: of that. But we saw Kendrick, so why not bad.
- 20:45Speaker 7: I think the there's a trying to appeal to an
- 20:49Speaker 7: international audience, even though the sport is this is it's
- 20:54Speaker 7: an American sport and it's such a part of the
- 20:59Speaker 7: American idea nity that to have an international artist like
- 21:03Speaker 7: as far as how he's, how he sells or whatever
- 21:06Speaker 7: around the world, that's that's one thing. But for it
- 21:10Speaker 7: to appeal to Americans, uh, there's an interesting choice. He
- 21:16Speaker 7: doesn't have songs in English or very very little English lyrics,
- 21:22Speaker 7: even though he sells millions around the world. There it's
- 21:25Speaker 7: just trying to appeal to an international audience. But I
- 21:29Speaker 7: wouldn't be surprised if Americans felt alienated by having this
- 21:35Speaker 7: Spanish language artists performing for their American sport.
- 21:41Speaker 2: Well, we had, we had Jima Lopez and Shakira a
- 21:45Speaker 2: couple of years ago in Miami. I'm I'm just saying,
- 21:48Speaker 2: so we've we've touched onto Ricans, Stefan her and.
- 21:59Speaker 8: It was or was it a data like you just
- 22:02Speaker 8: part of it right, It was like a dedication to per.
- 22:07Speaker 2: I don't know what the decisions they're making. It was
- 22:11Speaker 2: weird to me.
- 22:11Speaker 4: As far as the Bad Bunny, I'm I'm with Greg,
- 22:15Speaker 4: I know that worldwide, but he's not a artist as
- 22:19Speaker 4: we say this pop or.
- 22:21Speaker 2: I don't think that they thought it through as far
- 22:24Speaker 2: as no he is. He is a pop artist.
- 22:27Speaker 4: I know what I'm saying, but he's not in these
- 22:30Speaker 4: We'm saying. I don't think they let me. I don't
- 22:32Speaker 4: think they thought it through as far as picking this,
- 22:36Speaker 4: picking the artist. I mean, we could go back to
- 22:39Speaker 4: the demographics, like the football demographics.
- 22:41Speaker 2: You look at the Nielson's Raiders.
- 22:42Speaker 4: Thirty five to sixty is like the average TV and
- 22:45Speaker 4: that's where you're getting your ras. Bad Bunnies are talking
- 22:48Speaker 4: artists is eighteen to thirty four. I mean, I'm not.
- 22:51Speaker 2: Seeing what you what you're going for as ratings, and
- 22:56Speaker 2: I think that's insulting. I think that's honestly insulting for
- 22:59Speaker 2: you to say, we just said that these are the
- 23:01Speaker 2: people that sit around the table and send assistance and
- 23:04Speaker 2: kick their shoes off. They know what they're doing, They've
- 23:06Speaker 2: been doing this, they done put all the people in
- 23:08Speaker 2: place in charge of it. Exactly, he's in charge, and
- 23:12Speaker 2: they put him in charge because they said he knows
- 23:15Speaker 2: what he's doing. And so now all of this, in
- 23:18Speaker 2: my opinion, is very deliberate and intentional. It's no accident
- 23:23Speaker 2: when you hear things like that, because them saying jay
- 23:27Speaker 2: Z's in front control of this, I don't know how much. Yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 2: that's what I want jay Z has I know that
- 23:35Speaker 2: it makes people's ears perk up to hear certain names.
- 23:41Speaker 2: It's like, oh, you know Usher is part owner of
- 23:44Speaker 2: the calves? Who is he? They just it's kind of like, Okay,
- 23:51Speaker 2: what I would have charged you for those two tickets
- 23:53Speaker 2: to sit on the floor, I'll just change that underwrited
- 23:57Speaker 2: as some kind of ownership, and I can and that's
- 24:01Speaker 2: not even one percent exactly. So I'm trying to tell
- 24:05Speaker 2: you that's about how much jay Z owned the Brooklyn
- 24:08Speaker 2: Nets the price of the two tickets. We can just
- 24:12Speaker 2: write it different. So that's what I'm trying to sell it.
- 24:14Speaker 2: That's what I'm getting there. But mine is more of
- 24:16Speaker 2: just the music itself. Is a crowd in the room.
- 24:21Speaker 2: I have people over. How are they gonna? I don't
- 24:26Speaker 2: see them. Hey, everybody quiet, Hey, sports Shock, turn off
- 24:30Speaker 2: the lights so we can now it's not usher. One
- 24:37Speaker 2: person going God so me no, And that ain't even

- 27:37Speaker 2: And every time everybody up and they stay there. The
- 27:45Speaker 2: welcome back to this boy Shock show. I'm this wy
- 27:48Speaker 2: Shock Wayne Gan be good morning to you in FL
- 27:53Speaker 2: Week four almost over?
- 27:56Speaker 10: Uh.
- 27:56Speaker 2: Where's your team at this point in the seas and
- 28:00Speaker 2: tonight Dolphins Jets. Both teams are zero and three, and
- 28:06Speaker 2: then about forty five minutes after that. I want to
- 28:09Speaker 2: believe one game starts at like seven fifteen, the other
- 28:13Speaker 2: one starts at like eight. You will have the Bengals.
- 28:17Speaker 2: Joe Burrows is still out taking on the Broncos. The
- 28:23Speaker 2: Bengals are two and one, the Broncos are one and two. Yesterday,
- 28:29Speaker 2: the Kansas City Chiefs and the Baltimore Ravens did battle
- 28:35Speaker 2: out in KC. A game that people really really have
- 28:41Speaker 2: enjoyed over the years, and now this game offered a
- 28:47Speaker 2: lot of outlooks, mainly Comanche. Greg wanted to know from
- 28:55Speaker 2: what him and his friends at their board meeting with
- 28:58Speaker 2: wondering did Lamar Jackson exit the game intentionally? Yesterday? Laid
- 29:10Speaker 2: in the third quarter after a play, he reached out
- 29:14Speaker 2: on his right leg and kind of grabbed as though
- 29:20Speaker 2: his hamstring was bothering him. At that point, the Chief's
- 29:27Speaker 2: defense actually was giving him nowhere to go. Do you
- 29:31Speaker 2: think that three times MVP Lamar Jackson pulled himself out
- 29:39Speaker 2: of the game? Commandchie Gregg, I'm leaning towards yes. They said,
- 29:49Speaker 2: there's when we went to the bench, no medical staff
- 29:53Speaker 2: came to him. He didn't go in the tent to
- 29:56Speaker 2: get it looked at. And the picture I see it's
- 29:59Speaker 2: just a.
- 30:02Speaker 7: I don't know if it's a headband or a wristband
- 30:04Speaker 7: around the leg with like some padding where the hamstring is,
- 30:09Speaker 7: and that's it.
- 30:12Speaker 2: So I think he just pulled himself out of the game.
- 30:18Speaker 8: Did either if you watched the game, I saw bits
- 30:21Speaker 8: and pieces of it. Once it became what I considered
- 30:25Speaker 8: non competitive, I started to watch.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I think it was San Francisco thirty seven to twenty
- 30:33Speaker 2: the Chiefs win. Patrick Mahomes through I want to say,
- 30:36Speaker 2: four touchdowns yesterday? What did you think, bad producer? I
- 30:41Speaker 2: don't think he when you say intentionally, I think he's hurt.
- 30:49Speaker 2: He hurt himself. He felt something and he took himself
- 30:51Speaker 2: out of the game. He made a consecutive decision. As
- 30:54Speaker 2: far as his body, I don't think he did it.
- 30:57Speaker 4: Did it as far as faking or because he was
- 31:00Speaker 4: getting he was getting slaughtered. I mean they were stopping him,
- 31:04Speaker 4: they had they had his number yesterday. But I actually
- 31:07Speaker 4: think that he was genuinely felt something and he came
- 31:11Speaker 4: out of the game.
- 31:12Speaker 2: Well as you can. The can the world of sports
- 31:17Speaker 2: except Harball coach Harball of the Ravens pulling Lamar Jackson
- 31:28Speaker 2: in a situation like that, similar to how the Falcons
- 31:32Speaker 2: took out their starter Pinnis last week and put Kirk
- 31:35Speaker 2: Cousins in. Can the world of sports handle that? Can? Can?
- 31:39Speaker 2: Baltimore can? Harball can can people handle that and let
- 31:44Speaker 2: that be a move? Is that move still available when
- 31:48Speaker 2: you're talking about somebody like Lamar Jackson without some kind
- 31:54Speaker 2: of reason? I think the move can. I pulled Patrick
- 31:57Speaker 2: Mahomes without a re I think you can. I think
- 32:03Speaker 2: you should in many cases. But because of today's climate
- 32:10Speaker 2: where you done messed up my parlay and they said
- 32:15Speaker 2: the numbers were this, and the public won't allow you
- 32:19Speaker 2: to live with that peacefully. That's what they used to
- 32:23Speaker 2: call football strategy. Were losing seven to thirty eight. I'm
- 32:28Speaker 2: not about to have my starting guy out there getting crushed.
- 32:31Speaker 2: He's been sacked four times.
- 32:33Speaker 8: I'm not about to have him get hurt fourth week
- 32:36Speaker 8: into the season and we be done.
- 32:39Speaker 2: They can they do that? Yeah? They could do it now.
- 32:44Speaker 4: As far as what Kenny said, the Parlays and the
- 32:46Speaker 4: fantasy numbers, if your quarterbacks out there and he's playing bad,
- 32:49Speaker 4: the numbers is gonna be bad for you anyway. So
- 32:51Speaker 4: you warn him out of the game on fantasy, or
- 32:54Speaker 4: I wouldn't. I never mentioned fantous well Parlay's fantasy. All
- 32:57Speaker 4: that I meant, I don't believe in make believe anything.
- 33:01Speaker 4: I don't believe. You can't he can't.
- 33:04Speaker 2: I think coach Arboro hardball because.
- 33:06Speaker 4: He is a he A coach Arball could, but a
- 33:10Speaker 4: Mike McDaniels could.
- 33:12Speaker 2: How about if I say it like that, Okay, So.
- 33:16Speaker 4: I'm saying with the veteran hardball, as a veteran coach,
- 33:20Speaker 4: a super Bowl winning coach who is he can he
- 33:22Speaker 4: can handle the backlash of the meat.
- 33:26Speaker 7: And so I mean, if it's a situation you're having
- 33:32Speaker 7: a bad day, okay, if everybody everybody.
- 33:36Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody is way too tense about this. It's like y'all, like, y'all,
- 33:40Speaker 2: we live with Lamar Jackson. Can I just come over?
- 33:45Speaker 2: We're we're we got a minute left in the third quarter,
- 33:49Speaker 2: We're down three touchdown. Can I go over? Now days?
- 33:53Speaker 2: I'm from where you can just go pull the quarterback.
- 33:56Speaker 2: I'm not from where the quarterback was valued this time
- 34:01Speaker 2: of sport. That's why I have to have these conversations.
- 34:03Speaker 2: I'm from where the quarterback was treated a little better
- 34:06Speaker 2: and he was the key, but he wasn't untouchable. Didn't
- 34:12Speaker 2: most people the Super Bowl always knew you always knew
- 34:15Speaker 2: their backup quarterback because if he have a bad game
- 34:18Speaker 2: after three quarter, we might go in a new direction,
- 34:20Speaker 2: just for just for the day. But you seem to
- 34:22Speaker 2: be locked that you can't do that now. Because so
- 34:25Speaker 2: that's why I'm asking. Can I go over and tap
- 34:29Speaker 2: him on the shoulder and say, I'm just gonna go
- 34:31Speaker 2: with Cooper Rush. Yeah, I think you can.
- 34:34Speaker 7: You can do that if it's if it's a bad day,
- 34:37Speaker 7: look we just will put in the backup.
- 34:39Speaker 2: And well because people fro people freaked out around next
- 34:44Speaker 2: week when Raheem Morris did it last week, they had
- 34:46Speaker 2: like that had never been done before. The thing that
- 34:49Speaker 2: was so.
- 34:50Speaker 7: Weird that it's like, y'all have never seen this where
- 34:52Speaker 7: quarterback had a bad day and they put the backup
- 34:54Speaker 7: in in the fourth.
- 34:55Speaker 8: But think about this, you just you just quantified it
- 34:58Speaker 8: by saying that if you have a bad day, yeah
- 35:01Speaker 8: you can do it. I've seen it done because the
- 35:03Speaker 8: quarterback was having a good day and the coach just
- 35:05Speaker 8: didn't like his attitude about his good day.
- 35:07Speaker 2: Hey, hey, you're a little smelling yourself a little too much, buddy.
- 35:11Speaker 2: Come here, I told you to do this. You and
- 35:14Speaker 2: pull him for a play, or pull him at least
- 35:17Speaker 2: for a series of downs, just to a snap back
- 35:20Speaker 2: into the fact that you're being coached. And I think
- 35:22Speaker 2: a lot of this they in my opinion, too much
- 35:26Speaker 2: outside influence gets involved in football and sports people.
- 35:29Speaker 7: But that's okay too. I mean, if it's some kind
- 35:32Speaker 7: of situation, a situational thing where you bring in the
- 35:36Speaker 7: backup for a player two, then I'm that's fine too.
- 35:39Speaker 7: But I think putting in, putting in a backup in
- 35:44Speaker 7: that kind of situation where the game is out of hand,
- 35:47Speaker 7: it's it's weird to me. Like you said that, it
- 35:49Speaker 7: hasn't been as if people haven't seen that before or
- 35:52Speaker 7: think there's some kind of controversy, like no, we're gonna
- 35:55Speaker 7: put in the backup just to let the court the starter,
- 35:59Speaker 7: decompress us and then get ready for next week.
- 36:04Speaker 2: This game is done. But what we can am I
- 36:08Speaker 2: painting the picture? Right? We have a group of quarterbacks
- 36:12Speaker 2: that seemed to be untouchable. So I was just wondering,
- 36:18Speaker 2: can what's the guy in Buffalo, Josh Allen? Can he
- 36:22Speaker 2: Can I just go over to him?
- 36:25Speaker 4: I don't think the Buffalo fans will have And that's
- 36:28Speaker 4: what I mean, so Buffalo fans.
- 36:30Speaker 2: But it doesn't listen, listen you think about it. They
- 36:37Speaker 2: do it with every other position. Yeah, and if the
- 36:41Speaker 2: defensive tackle jump off side, they might tell him to
- 36:44Speaker 2: come out. If he if the safety does some kind
- 36:48Speaker 2: of pull him, if the receiver dropped the ball, you
- 36:52Speaker 2: can't just necessarily jog back to the huddle at the
- 36:55Speaker 2: running back fumbles that he might not even go in
- 36:58Speaker 2: the game at least. And you're telling me Uncle Josh
- 37:01Speaker 2: is swerving and we can get somebody else to drive
- 37:04Speaker 2: for him. That's all I'm saying. Why is he so
- 37:07Speaker 2: important that even when he's not doing good, we can't.
- 37:10Speaker 4: Say, hey, I come from themself together, I'm from that
- 37:14Speaker 4: same area you're from. Now you pull you pull them,
- 37:19Speaker 4: throw throw interception, you pull them throw pull.
- 37:24Speaker 2: You Now he shout out and thug on that. So
- 37:29Speaker 2: he just shout He just shouted out on our show
- 37:32Speaker 2: to two murderers. Wait now, no, no, no, no, that's
- 37:40Speaker 2: that's what's wrong with the justice system. We're alleging too much.
- 37:45Speaker 2: We were alleging too much. We live in the country,
- 37:49Speaker 2: were confirmed. We he just shouted out about the new
- 37:53Speaker 2: pride and beaming on my show. Well, I get a
- 37:59Speaker 2: fit for shouting out two guys I know have murked
- 38:05Speaker 2: other people allegedly. No allegedly. Well, I know one of
- 38:15Speaker 2: them personally, so I know there ain't no allegedly. I
- 38:18Speaker 2: know if I can go home and point out three
- 38:20Speaker 2: murderers not allegedly, it's just they ain't in jail and
- 38:24Speaker 2: the government hasn't stamped them that that don't make them
- 38:26Speaker 2: not murderers. You know, some murderers ain't. No, allegedly, we
- 38:31Speaker 2: go by conviction. Son, No, we don't have not been convicted.
- 38:34Speaker 2: You can't call me that. No, that's not trying to
- 38:36Speaker 2: consue you for that. We all have done everything, big Kenny. No,
- 38:40Speaker 2: you can't call me that if you ain't convicted. So
- 38:43Speaker 2: if this dude killed your brother, yeah, what is he.
- 38:48Speaker 8: Allegedly the killer of my brother?
- 38:50Speaker 1: No?
- 38:50Speaker 2: You saw him? Yeah, what is it? Now? He's missing? No,
- 39:00Speaker 2: still has a label for you go home, and you
- 39:03Speaker 2: go home and explain why he's missing. They say that
- 39:07Speaker 2: he's on the run and that's why. But shouting out
- 39:11Speaker 2: two murderers, I don't really particularly like that, because if
- 39:14Speaker 2: those two people had allegedly and whatever else you want
- 39:17Speaker 2: to say to your people, you wouldn't want me to
- 39:20Speaker 2: be sitting here shouting out those guys. Why the hell was
- 39:27Speaker 2: something that you started and you ran. You could sit
- 39:29Speaker 2: here and get away down in court in court system
- 39:32Speaker 2: because no, but you seem to love. I want to
- 39:38Speaker 2: shout out them for their new album, The Two Murderers

- 41:41Speaker 17: And now back to the sports Job. Wayne Gandy's wake.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Log on so you can see a sports jaint I'll
- 42:09Speaker 2: sing even welcome back to the Swart Shock. Hum the
- 42:14Speaker 2: Swart Shock, Wayne Candy, Good morning to you out there
- 42:19Speaker 2: and listening land the Dallas Cowboys last night forty the
- 42:23Speaker 2: Green Bay Packers of forty. Both offenses were in rhythm,
- 42:29Speaker 2: Both defenses got exposed at least for a night, ending
- 42:35Speaker 2: in a tie. Some of you might have forgot that
- 42:38Speaker 2: if the time runs out in overtime, it is a
- 42:41Speaker 2: tie unless it is the playoffs. I was involved in
- 42:46Speaker 2: one tie in the Pros, actually playing with the Stellers.
- 42:50Speaker 2: We played the Falcons. Mike Vick came to Pittsburgh. We
- 42:55Speaker 2: ended up thirty four to thirty four when and overtime
- 42:58Speaker 2: in the time elapsed and we ended up in a tie.
- 43:01Speaker 2: How does this catch the ball? But they were at
- 43:03Speaker 2: the one yard line on the.
- 43:05Speaker 8: Last It was like that kind and so how does
- 43:09Speaker 8: that factor into my win loss record?
- 43:12Speaker 2: Well, you have you have a tie, and you get
- 43:16Speaker 2: to the you would be it counts for you and
- 43:22Speaker 2: against you. But at the end of the calculation though,
- 43:27Speaker 2: almost like Graton on a curve, kind of like I'm saying,
- 43:30Speaker 2: because you know, there's a certain amount of games, and
- 43:33Speaker 2: you win some, you lose some, and at the end
- 43:36Speaker 2: those people go forward. And but I got a tie
- 43:39Speaker 2: right here, and these people have But even with my tie,
- 43:43Speaker 2: my record's better than this person. So well, and in fact,
- 43:47Speaker 2: like I got ten wins. You have ten wins, right,
- 43:51Speaker 2: but one of yours is a tie, like the kind
- 43:53Speaker 2: of situation, so you get half a point. Okay, all right, Okay,
- 43:59Speaker 2: So in this game, Michael Parsons return to Dallas up
- 44:05Speaker 2: where everybody, as we talked about in the beginning, was
- 44:08Speaker 2: shocked at Jerry Jones, let him trade him him to
- 44:11Speaker 2: Green Bay. Neither defense played any good football. Doc and
- 44:17Speaker 2: Love Jordan Love had great games. Both of them went
- 44:20Speaker 2: over three hundred yards. I think they both even scored
- 44:23Speaker 2: maybe threw four touchdowns, five touchdowns. It was an aerial
- 44:27Speaker 2: attack on both sides. So just good, two good offenses
- 44:31Speaker 2: going last night and in a tie. I don't know
- 44:36Speaker 2: how that works with Vegas and betting and all that.
- 44:40Speaker 2: That's up for the bad producer and the pundits on
- 44:45Speaker 2: ESPN to tell you. But forty forty in that game.
- 44:50Speaker 2: The Falcons yesterday beat a Marcus Mariota led Commander's team
- 44:58Speaker 2: thirty four to he's seven. I was hoping jayde and
- 45:03Speaker 2: Daniels got out there and played, but he set out.
- 45:09Speaker 2: I'm quite sure the Commanders felt like they could have
- 45:14Speaker 2: a chance, and they did thirty four to twenty seven
- 45:17Speaker 2: to beat the Falcons without Jadeon, But good job Falcons
- 45:21Speaker 2: yesterday and the Falcons.
- 45:23Speaker 8: I know Jaydon Daniels wasn't there, but Falcons act like
- 45:27Speaker 8: they beat Joe Thaisman yesterday.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Me. You know, it wasn't well when you when you
- 45:32Speaker 2: don't score points the week before and somebody gets fired
- 45:37Speaker 2: that that was a tough week. It was a lot
- 45:39Speaker 2: of most airs and emotions. It's not about who's the
- 45:43Speaker 2: next opponent. It's about we need to get on to win.
- 45:47Speaker 2: We need to get on that when you don't have
- 45:49Speaker 2: zero points, it's a lot of people's got their job
- 45:54Speaker 2: questioned yesterday when that that week last week. That's what
- 45:59Speaker 2: that whole heal yourt firing was about to get everybody's
- 46:02Speaker 2: attention that you can be and something that has gotten,
- 46:07Speaker 2: as I said, faded away in pro sports where you
- 46:13Speaker 2: can't deal with a person in a situation without count
- 46:20Speaker 2: how much money and how much the fans and all that.
- 46:23Speaker 2: You got to calculate all that before I vent you
- 46:26Speaker 2: or cut you. Now you got to explain. It's like
- 46:30Speaker 2: watching Liam Cohen, the head coach of ja Jags, and
- 46:34Speaker 2: Robert Sala, the decordinator for the forty nine ers, just
- 46:37Speaker 2: today at the game having a little you know, yeah, yeah,
- 46:41Speaker 2: I'm thinking that's what I like to see. So everybody
- 46:45Speaker 2: was out here trying to get some even the coaches
- 46:47Speaker 2: got a little tension. I thought, that's what y'all wanted
- 46:49Speaker 2: to see. I am xerxy. You know that's not what?
- 46:53Speaker 2: What is it that y'all want to be? What is
- 46:54Speaker 2: it you want to believe? Coaches are? You don't think
- 46:58Speaker 2: they're in this thing. These people give their lives just
- 47:02Speaker 2: they get well paid. But some of them, that's all
- 47:04Speaker 2: they ever did. They were playing and then they still
- 47:07Speaker 2: don't real it. Big Kenny over there calling stuff, trying
- 47:10Speaker 2: to beat my defense there, and that's what I want
- 47:13Speaker 2: my coach to be. Competitor looking over almost don't want
- 47:17Speaker 2: to speak to him. He just running out here because
- 47:19Speaker 2: the NFL says you gotta do it. You've seen that
- 47:22Speaker 2: handshake when they running barely y'all got to talk to
- 47:25Speaker 2: each other. Y'all gotta shake hands after the game, you
- 47:28Speaker 2: ain't say. I couldn't say nothing about it, mamadel and
- 47:32Speaker 2: your mama said, hey, what what didn't he look back?
- 47:34Speaker 2: You ever seen them do that? They shake hands and
- 47:36Speaker 2: then one dude kind of look back like, what did
- 47:38Speaker 2: you just say to me? But by the end the
- 47:40Speaker 2: security guards SoLIT you don't want none of this. State
- 47:43Speaker 2: troopers have him running and listened audio he told Liam Cohen,
- 47:47Speaker 2: you don't want none of this. I am I'm Xerxes.
- 47:50Speaker 2: I'm waiting. They fired me from my job at the
- 47:52Speaker 2: J E. T. S Chets jets Check. I've been waiting
- 47:56Speaker 2: to put this on somebody. My arrows will blot out
- 47:58Speaker 2: the sun. I'm waiting. Wait, I'm at least his before me,
- 48:05Speaker 2: and you over here tell me, I say, I think
- 48:06Speaker 2: it was over. Some signs still still which I still
- 48:10Speaker 2: don't get why I can't steal your signs. It's a
- 48:12Speaker 2: stock and sign, it's a year keeping. You keep doing this,
- 48:16Speaker 2: and every time you do this, the safety blitz and
- 48:19Speaker 2: I'm supposed to act like I don't I don't see
- 48:21Speaker 2: you there telling the safety to do this, and I'm
- 48:24Speaker 2: supposed to be like no, and you mad, I'm yelling safety.
- 48:30Speaker 2: I can't believe he would tell them that's what he
- 48:33Speaker 2: suposed to do, y'all guiding him down the field anyway.
- 48:37Speaker 2: Half of the games are so poorly managed and so
- 48:40Speaker 2: coached to involve that they almost sometimes turned me off.
- 48:45Speaker 2: So when are the players just gonna play? It's becoming
- 48:50Speaker 2: like high school. Y'all coach them every day. Don't ever
- 48:53Speaker 2: just run back to the hoddle without looking over and
- 48:55Speaker 2: talking to the sideline. I'm trying to know all that, man,
- 48:58Speaker 2: what's the play? Let's go ball? Y'all over here wanting
- 49:01Speaker 2: to control.
- 49:03Speaker 8: I'm trying to think of which I think it was.
- 49:06Speaker 8: It was the San Francisco Jacksonville yesterday where uh brock
- 49:11Speaker 8: Party was in the huddle literally reading from his wristband
- 49:15Speaker 8: and point, you know, and nineteen ninety one.
- 49:19Speaker 7: And that that's up to That's what the play is like.
- 49:21Speaker 7: You had to tell each player what they're supposed to do.
- 49:24Speaker 2: And I was saying, so long, I'm saying, are you
- 49:28Speaker 2: really like screaming out the play that you what happened
- 49:31Speaker 2: to forty two on break? And everybody knows what that means.
- 49:35Speaker 2: This dude was reading and pointing two people, and I
- 49:40Speaker 2: was like, has it gotten that somebody? That's what the
- 49:44Speaker 2: coaches they think the coaches at the lower The coaches
- 49:48Speaker 2: at the lower level are not training, so the whole
- 49:51Speaker 2: system is broke. Now, okay, you used to know they
- 49:54Speaker 2: have to read the number. So when I go in
- 49:56Speaker 2: the hold on, I say, you know, explode the trip
- 50:00Speaker 2: writes five ninety two on on. You know, on set
- 50:08Speaker 2: everybody had to know all incoming fresh flow from five
- 50:13Speaker 2: to nine to two. Now it's explode the trips right,
- 50:21Speaker 2: ze the lay why swing X comeback? That's by the
- 50:28Speaker 2: play so long it's a good So I'm gonna I'm
- 50:31Speaker 2: gonna tell you actually the full play of what to do.
- 50:36Speaker 2: And you suppose have known that just by the number
- 50:39Speaker 2: I told.
- 50:39Speaker 4: You, didn't the man had to tell the God was
- 50:45Speaker 4: less complicated, it was less comfort.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Try still live.
- 51:01Speaker 9: Don't bowl away, or of the Sports Josh Show with

- 51:06Speaker 18: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 51:09Speaker 18: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 51:13Speaker 18: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 51:16Speaker 18: with illicit drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 51:19Speaker 18: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 51:24Speaker 18: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 51:27Speaker 18: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it is
- 51:29Speaker 18: an ad to make you think twice. Get the facts.

- 52:11Speaker 2: And now back to the sports Giant, Wayne Gandy.
- 52:17Speaker 19: Center Court on Sports News Gossip blah blah blah blah blah.
- 52:30Speaker 1: Young jesus, any boy, kid, I never.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Right? Keep clapping, John got your old plan would turn
- 52:44Speaker 2: it up?
- 52:48Speaker 13: Lap please?
- 52:50Speaker 2: Young?
- 52:50Speaker 20: Now this is the night blubber the night blubber.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Go get up, Go get up, Go get up. The
- 53:00Speaker 2: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this sport
- 53:02Speaker 2: shock Wayne again. We'll get back to the NFL in
- 53:07Speaker 2: a man ed the WNBA did it again. But I
- 53:12Speaker 2: got to give him some love because they one team
- 53:15Speaker 2: has reached the finals and the Phoenix Mercury defeating the
- 53:20Speaker 2: Minnesota Link yesterday to win that series eighty six to
- 53:23Speaker 2: eighty one. The Minnesota Links head coach was suspended for
- 53:27Speaker 2: the game. She after the last game where Nephessa Collier
- 53:32Speaker 2: got hurt, her head coach was very willing to pull
- 53:38Speaker 2: out her sword and go after anyone. And when I
- 53:43Speaker 2: say anyone, I mean the officiating crew. She said that
- 53:48Speaker 2: it was malpractice if you get a chance. I can't
- 53:53Speaker 2: remember her name, but right off the bat, but she
- 53:57Speaker 2: said it was mal re Chlle Reeves. She said it
- 54:00Speaker 2: was malpractice to have curse where those referees for a
- 54:09Speaker 2: game what would have been game three?
- 54:14Speaker 4: What did she what was her biggest problem that she
- 54:16Speaker 4: said that she was having with the officials.
- 54:20Speaker 2: I think the physicality and in this play was Alyssa
- 54:25Speaker 2: Thompson stealing the ball from the investor Collier kind of
- 54:28Speaker 2: ran through her legs. I've always applauded women's college basketball
- 54:35Speaker 2: and the w n b A. They do let a
- 54:39Speaker 2: certain amount of physicality happened and we're in playoff basketball. Yeah,
- 54:45Speaker 2: a little more than the NBA does. They're not just
- 54:48Speaker 2: little petty files that they call all day and break
- 54:50Speaker 2: the action. But she was very willing to be suspended
- 54:55Speaker 2: for the game. And the Phoenix Mercury, it started slow,
- 55:00Speaker 2: won the series. On the other side, the Fever beat
- 55:05Speaker 2: the Aces to push to a game five, So we
- 55:10Speaker 2: will see that's who the Mercury will play the Aces,
- 55:15Speaker 2: And if the Fever make it without Caitlyn Carlark and
- 55:18Speaker 2: all the injuries they had, it will be something. I
- 55:23Speaker 2: think we definitely will have an We have a final
- 55:26Speaker 2: where we thought Indiana would have made it, but not
- 55:28Speaker 2: without Caitlin Clark, Sophie Cunningham and about three other starters.
- 55:35Speaker 2: They are really a different team. You got like three
- 55:39Speaker 2: or four ladies that are playing major roles that were
- 55:43Speaker 2: not even on the team when the season started and
- 55:47Speaker 2: gotten this far with Kelsey Mills, Mitchell and Alia Boston
- 55:50Speaker 2: leading away. And is that a nod to leadership and
- 56:01Speaker 2: being able to focus because most teams would be accepting
- 56:06Speaker 2: consolation prizes by now. Man, we got all of those
- 56:09Speaker 2: starters down, and we got people wasn't even on the
- 56:13Speaker 2: but these people are proving that in professional sports it's
- 56:16Speaker 2: supposed to be next man up. We all getting checks, right,
- 56:20Speaker 2: So you talk about your expectations and maybe we can
- 56:24Speaker 2: exceed them, but definitely we at least have to try it,
- 56:27Speaker 2: is my point. Yeah, I think in that case, when
- 56:33Speaker 2: you take a team's top superstar and two starters out,
- 56:38Speaker 2: people can't believe you're going to beat them. Yeah, and
- 56:43Speaker 2: believe and attitude and how you view a team really
- 56:46Speaker 2: plays a picture paints a picture of how you attack them.
- 56:49Speaker 2: It's one of those things that you think is going
- 56:53Speaker 2: to be easy and then next thing you know, it's
- 56:55Speaker 2: two minutes left on the clock and it's a game.
- 56:58Speaker 2: I thought it was of mindset. It's like the Falcons
- 57:03Speaker 2: going to Carolina, but then yesterday Carolina plays New England.
- 57:10Speaker 2: By Carolina beating the Falcons. Mike Rabel, the head coach
- 57:14Speaker 2: of the Patriots, can sell them, oh, this ain't gonna
- 57:17Speaker 2: be so we got to play, whereas the Falcons had
- 57:20Speaker 2: already moved to the Washington game, right, and that's how
- 57:25Speaker 2: they played. And you get that a lot of times
- 57:29Speaker 2: when you talk about refocusing, you can't just look at it.
- 57:31Speaker 2: You got to look at every opponent as a team
- 57:34Speaker 2: that can truly beat you. But you have to really
- 57:36Speaker 2: look at it like that, not in a way where okay, okay,
- 57:41Speaker 2: we'll win that game. You know how people like to
- 57:44Speaker 2: tell I went through the schedule. We they just on
- 57:46Speaker 2: the side that Week thirteen we play so and so
- 57:52Speaker 2: and we're going to beat them. So it's like, how
- 57:55Speaker 2: would you figure that we talked this week two and
- 57:58Speaker 2: you and week thirteen beating the Saints because the Saints
- 58:01Speaker 2: are old and full, right, So you've decided that you're
- 58:04Speaker 2: going to beat them in week thirteen and the Saints
- 58:07Speaker 2: have decided today that ain't gonna be today.
- 58:11Speaker 8: I thought it was interesting last night with the Green
- 58:14Speaker 8: Bay game, everybody said that Michael Parsons was that piece
- 58:18Speaker 8: that was going to be dominant in whatever team he
- 58:21Speaker 8: went to with. And last night the team that traded
- 58:24Speaker 8: him didn't suffer much for not having him, and he
- 58:28Speaker 8: didn't impact them so much that they right lost. So
- 58:32Speaker 8: you know, at the end of the day, you still
- 58:36Speaker 8: got to get on the field. Yeah, he would have
- 58:38Speaker 8: been like we've had with a lot of teams. He
- 58:39Speaker 8: would have been Michael Parsons on that Dallas defense. A
- 58:43Speaker 8: lot of teams have suffered. It's Damon Lillard in Portland
- 58:48Speaker 8: for most of his career. It's just a one man show.
- 58:52Speaker 8: If Charles Barkley wanted to get out of Phoenix, I
- 58:55Speaker 8: mean Philly because he felt like anybody bringing me no help,
- 59:00Speaker 8: It's just a one man show.
- 59:01Speaker 2: Yeah, y'all got that one dude that that's cool. He
- 59:05Speaker 2: keep doing this and he got his forty. He keep
- 59:08Speaker 2: doing this and I keep doing that scoreboard though and
- 59:13Speaker 2: everybody else. That's how Michael Parsons would have been. That's
- 59:16Speaker 2: why I said, sometimes you have to look at your
- 59:18Speaker 2: team and it's just having this one player going to
- 59:22Speaker 2: balance out. So Michael Parsons would have did what for
- 59:27Speaker 2: the cow that group of cowboys not much because if
- 59:31Speaker 2: you're just one guy, we can figure this out. That's
- 59:34Speaker 2: what green Bay was doing. Green Bay was looking at
- 59:38Speaker 2: I mean, that's what Dallas was doing. They were looking
- 59:40Speaker 2: at green Bay's defense and basically, we're gonna have the
- 59:44Speaker 2: back go chip whatever side Michael Parsons is on, and
- 59:48Speaker 2: we're gonna have time to throw the ball. Why because
- 59:51Speaker 2: there's nobody rushing the pass on the other side. Rushing
- 59:55Speaker 2: the ball is coming tandems. You might not know the
- 59:58Speaker 2: second guy because he might not be as popular, but
- 1:00:02Speaker 2: it's usually another guy on the side that can help you.
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: You be John Abraham here for a couple of years
- 1:00:08Speaker 2: in his career where there was nobody on the other
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: side Block Abraham. Nobody else gets to the quarterback. Right.
- 1:00:14Speaker 2: So we'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right
- 1:00:17Speaker 2: after this. You can.
- 1:00:20Speaker 10: Far put you in imagine somewhere in Wisconsin.
- 1:00:26Speaker 18: Like I said, it ain't letting it pain.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: We could change the land name What's hand and.

- 1:00:51Speaker 21: what texting while driving is like. Your human brain only

- 1:02:11Speaker 2: plain me down? You flank me down? Do come to
- 1:02:16Speaker 2: come to Pyet, get come to Mark? Is it just going?
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: I'm gonna do it again. I'm gonna go on the
- 1:02:25Speaker 2: way you tell me. Welcome back to this Boystock show.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: I'm the Sports Shock Wayne A. Gande. Monday Night Football
- 1:02:35Speaker 2: two games tonight at seven fifteen. The New York Jets
- 1:02:40Speaker 2: and the Miami Dolphins will battle for a game that
- 1:02:44Speaker 2: I feel like all the pressure really is on Miami
- 1:02:49Speaker 2: in this Miami's head coach. What the team might think
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: about doing with certain players could be all decided tonight.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: If they lose this game, they're at home, they're on four.
- 1:03:03Speaker 2: It looks like Justin Fields will try to make a
- 1:03:06Speaker 2: return to the lineup. We'll see how that affects the
- 1:03:10Speaker 2: Dolphins defense. But a lot of expectations of the last
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: two or three years for the Dolphins and they are
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: sitting there in a position where easily we can come
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: on a couple of days after the game, and they
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: have let Mike McDonald go, Daniel, excuse me go, As
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: I said, I don't see it in tour. Sometimes he flashes,
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: sometimes he doesn't. He one dimensional, He asks like he
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: has no ability to scramble or move or run. He
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: scheduled a concussion. And that's the same thing with Lamar Jackson.
- 1:03:44Speaker 2: We was talking about him earlier. Lamar Jackson to me,
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: this season through the first four game has going back
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: to the Lamar Jackson without a contract. That's what he
- 1:03:56Speaker 2: looks like. And I need to Lamar that last year
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: you are a dual threat quarterback. The specialness of you
- 1:04:07Speaker 2: is that I literally you define the ability to run
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: the read option, the safety coming down the d N
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: can't go down the line. They really do have to
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: stay there. When you sit in the back, your speed
- 1:04:25Speaker 2: is your biggest weapon. Above all his speed, the dynamic
- 1:04:34Speaker 2: of his speed is what makes him different because you
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: have to rush him a certain way and he can punish.
- 1:04:43Speaker 2: But they got to get the run game going and
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: he got to be able to be okay running the ball.
- 1:04:49Speaker 2: When he gets into that oh, I'm gonna beat you
- 1:04:51Speaker 2: with my arm thing, but I'm not saying you can't
- 1:04:53Speaker 2: throw the ball.
- 1:04:54Speaker 8: Now, this is this is my thing sports shock.
- 1:04:56Speaker 2: Is it he gets into the I'm gonna beat you
- 1:04:59Speaker 2: with my arm thing or is his Is it that
- 1:05:01Speaker 2: the coaches are going, hey, we need you to do
- 1:05:04Speaker 2: more with your arm, Lamar, because I remember there was
- 1:05:07Speaker 2: a time when for the majority of the season they
- 1:05:11Speaker 2: were talking about for him to be an elite quarterback
- 1:05:16Speaker 2: like a Ma Homes, he's got to stand in the
- 1:05:20Speaker 2: pocket and be more of an accurate And again we've
- 1:05:25Speaker 2: all known from the very beginning that his threat is dual.
- 1:05:28Speaker 2: I don't have to do what they do that ain't this,
- 1:05:30Speaker 2: This ain't that. But so is that his fault or
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: is he trying to be more coachable when you see
- 1:05:36Speaker 2: him not use his feet coachable you three time, MVP.
- 1:05:42Speaker 2: We don't even have these conversations. Yeah, and see that's
- 1:05:45Speaker 2: that's so. I mean, you're supposed to go do that
- 1:05:48Speaker 2: thing you do, so coach, be quiet. So I didn't
- 1:05:51Speaker 2: say nothing, you just won't do it.
- 1:05:53Speaker 8: Oh so you think that now he's trying to be
- 1:05:57Speaker 8: the one who's more focused.
- 1:05:58Speaker 2: On Now, I don't know where. I don't that's what
- 1:06:00Speaker 2: I'm saying. I don't know which side of the table.
- 1:06:02Speaker 2: I just know that when he is stagnant, the offense
- 1:06:06Speaker 2: is stagnant. He is the yak when they tell my yards,
- 1:06:11Speaker 2: he is that he you know, his unwillingness sometimes you
- 1:06:16Speaker 2: know to be that part, but that's the part that
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: throws you off. That's the part you know where the
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: run game they are that team and when he takes
- 1:06:27Speaker 2: that away. Patrick Mahomes is a gimmick quarterback. Yeah, he's
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: not accurate, he's I mean, not awesome, but that's his
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: style and ener read let him do all that. You
- 1:06:41Speaker 2: can flip it underhand. I might throw it under it
- 1:06:44Speaker 2: with my left. He is an improvisor. It might be
- 1:06:50Speaker 2: the best we've seen.
- 1:06:52Speaker 4: You think as he has a shortstop or second base
- 1:06:55Speaker 4: or something.
- 1:06:57Speaker 2: They have like a And that's why you can't actually
- 1:06:59Speaker 2: even train. You would just have to have a guy
- 1:07:02Speaker 2: that just plays that way. That's not that's not necessary.
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: That's not a drill. That's his style that he just
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: is kind of quirky. He's gonna do different little things
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: with the ball. But Lamar Jackson, to me, sometimes they
- 1:07:18Speaker 2: bail the defenses out. You know, you have a game.
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: Dereck Henry has eight carries. Really, that's it. That's that's
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: the first quarter, isn't it. Yeah, the first first the
- 1:07:33Speaker 2: first drive, he was supposed to have six carries. That's
- 1:07:36Speaker 2: I don't understand my dev right, and and that's that's
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: wein't gonna get down. And that's so.
- 1:07:43Speaker 8: And that's what Remember when they first announced that he
- 1:07:47Speaker 8: was going to Baltimore and everybody was like, with Lamar's
- 1:07:51Speaker 8: ability to run and Derrick Henry in the backfield, this
- 1:07:56Speaker 8: will be the team to beat. And now is it
- 1:07:59Speaker 8: too many superstars because we're not seeing that production anymore.
- 1:08:04Speaker 8: It was like when I was the only guy on
- 1:08:06Speaker 8: the team, we it was obvious. But now that we
- 1:08:10Speaker 8: got the pieces, we're not using them. Or maybe the
- 1:08:14Speaker 8: work don't require this level of specificity. Which one is
- 1:08:18Speaker 8: it because Baltimore, Well, you're gonna what you're asking of
- 1:08:22Speaker 8: Lamar is hard because that's going to take a physical toll.
- 1:08:29Speaker 8: And I can understand you're getting a little older, you
- 1:08:31Speaker 8: don't want them. It's like watching Cam. Cam Newton really
- 1:08:34Speaker 8: only had one style and he didn't want to keep
- 1:08:37Speaker 8: doing that style as he got older.
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: He just really didn't. It was cool at Auburn, it
- 1:08:45Speaker 2: was cool my first four five years at Carolina. Now
- 1:08:48Speaker 2: I'm getting around thirty, and if you let me throw it,
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: I could throw it. Now you want to change too.
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: But the especialist of Cam is just eyes and his
- 1:09:00Speaker 2: speed and when the play breaks down or that he
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: can't really run a read option.
- 1:09:05Speaker 8: It used to be you can't stop me. Now it
- 1:09:07Speaker 8: was no watch man, I could throw. I could throw.
- 1:09:09Speaker 8: No get open, No seriously, no get open. Watch I
- 1:09:13Speaker 8: can throw because and I thought about that with Lamar.
- 1:09:16Speaker 8: Maybe it's just that this could lead to a lot
- 1:09:20Speaker 8: of injuries. As he gets older, he starts to feel
- 1:09:23Speaker 8: that like, wow, this is I've been playing like this.
- 1:09:26Speaker 2: Michael Pennix for the Falcons watching him, he wants to
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: be a pocket pass. He didn't even he didn't do
- 1:09:38Speaker 2: anything with his legs, which is surprising. And I know
- 1:09:42Speaker 2: he had a lot of injuries, but he he went
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: into that Bryce Young and his name for the Panthers
- 1:09:49Speaker 2: to a thing where well, I'm not even gonna hit
- 1:09:53Speaker 2: you out with that aspect. Well you talked about how
- 1:09:56Speaker 2: they've put a premium on quarterbacks and with that comes
- 1:10:01Speaker 2: the quarterback price. I want to stick around the boy
- 1:10:03Speaker 2: from Buffalo. He don't. Yeah, he don't seem like he can.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: But everybody, everybody know that, y'all know that boy ain't right.
- 1:10:10Speaker 2: Ain't nothing, no regular. I ain't saying nothing wrong with
- 1:10:14Speaker 2: I'm just saying that the boy ain't right. Y'all know
- 1:10:17Speaker 2: that boy like to mix it up and he different.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: That's a different boy up in Buffalo. He big and
- 1:10:22Speaker 2: he be He looked pleasant. He got a pleasant little disposition.
- 1:10:26Speaker 4: But something want to no, I was gonna say that,
- 1:10:31Speaker 4: you know, back to the Michael Pennix. As far as
- 1:10:34Speaker 4: the running, the injuries, I think the injuries has limited
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: him to wanting to be that breakout when I need to.
- 1:10:42Speaker 4: But I don't think he's a tour or Bryce and
- 1:10:44Speaker 4: he's afraid. I mean I think he will when needed.
- 1:10:49Speaker 2: I mean I didn't say that to Bryce are afraid,
- 1:10:52Speaker 2: I said, they just don't do that. They just want
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: to see themselves as some kind of damn Marino, only
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: one damn Marino.
- 1:11:01Speaker 7: So I like it as far as like using their
- 1:11:04Speaker 7: feet to still throw the ball. They're not scramblers where
- 1:11:08Speaker 7: or they're going to, like, you know, take off a lot.
- 1:11:12Speaker 4: But if it got you there, I'll throw it down
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: the field. You gotta use what what you got you there.
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: You gotta continue this. Well, they used to run around
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: a little bit at Alabama. They don't do that anymore.
- 1:11:23Speaker 2: And if Patrick Mahomes is supposed to be whoever you
- 1:11:25Speaker 2: said him and Josh Allen and Lamar, when Lamar does
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: his when he moves, yeah he's a.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: Problem because he makes everybody else move because it takes
- 1:11:37Speaker 4: everybody off of their spots.
- 1:11:39Speaker 2: Yeah, he freezes the linebacker. The linebacker is frozen now
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: because if he starts running and I stopped, I can't
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: catch him. Speed freezes. It's like watching uh Terrence Crawford
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: in that fight. It was his speed. He's so fast
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: that he if I throw that left and yeah, I
- 1:12:11Speaker 2: hit me twice he's gonna hit but he was I'm
- 1:12:17Speaker 2: looking for my most throat and then I'm scared that
- 1:12:20Speaker 2: he's so fast he's gonna hit me twice before I
- 1:12:22Speaker 2: pull it back. And that's how lamar he freezes. And
- 1:12:24Speaker 2: I'm just saying, Patrick Mahomes he puts those guys those
- 1:12:28Speaker 2: ends he get on those rollouts and things like that.
- 1:12:30Speaker 2: You gotta be able to move a little leaven Aaron
- 1:12:34Speaker 2: Rodgers with the stillers, he showed more movement and getting
- 1:12:39Speaker 2: out of the pocket than in these first and he's
- 1:12:42Speaker 2: forty one, forty two than all those guys I just mentioned.
- 1:12:46Speaker 8: Do you think some of that is with quarterbacks trying
- 1:12:48Speaker 8: to show some of these quarterbacks that are known for that,
- 1:12:51Speaker 8: trying to show a different skill set because it used
- 1:12:53Speaker 8: to be that's what made you unique, the ability to
- 1:12:56Speaker 8: use your feet.
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: Now you gotta have that if you're gonna be a quarterback.
- 1:12:59Speaker 2: So I'm gonna show you guys, I can pass too.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: I watched Trevor Lawrence yester day. I was, oh, finally
- 1:13:07Speaker 2: you remembered. You done got off the whole wife and
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: got married and some kids and farm life, and remember
- 1:13:15Speaker 2: you are a mobile quarterback you're not a stuck in
- 1:13:19Speaker 2: the mud. He reacted like he run five to one
- 1:13:23Speaker 2: and that's how that's how he clips. That's all they
- 1:13:28Speaker 2: got that national back there like he you know, and
- 1:13:33Speaker 2: like he made clips. And forget about Deshaun Watts. He
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: made the pep more Crimson. Forget about because four or
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: five games, four or five times a game he was
- 1:13:41Speaker 2: gonna punish you for about eight to twelve yards on
- 1:13:44Speaker 2: running running the ball. That seemed like to me that
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: something he had design. Dabbo added, with design running play,
- 1:13:51Speaker 2: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show right after
- 1:13:53Speaker 2: this guy's blood is the damn that you I forgot?
- 1:13:59Speaker 12: Just why I last thank you Alan saying.

- 1:17:18Speaker 2: Ken Norton Junior was a heck of a player and
- 1:17:21Speaker 2: a heck of a coach. Ken Norton Junior fifty nine
- 1:17:24Speaker 2: years of age. In McShane from the John Wick he
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: plays John Wick's the dude that runs the hotel at
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: the Continental.
- 1:17:35Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, yes, well welcome mistood week. Yeah the manager,
- 1:17:40Speaker 8: the manager, I'd like to see the manager. Yeah, he's
- 1:17:42Speaker 8: eighty three years old. Megatron is forty. Calvin Johnson Andrew
- 1:17:48Speaker 8: Dice Clay where is he? I saw him in that?
- 1:17:54Speaker 2: What was the movie with Brad brad Pitt? Who was that?
- 1:17:59Speaker 2: Bradley and Lady God Go He Star? Yeah, Star is
- 1:18:04Speaker 2: born Stars. He's in a couple of rolls where but
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: Andrew d very colorful. Kuy sixty eight years old.
- 1:18:13Speaker 7: I think you try to do a stand up set
- 1:18:16Speaker 7: being clean and it didn't go well.
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Oh really clean, clean, clean drugs, the clean version clean
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: clean is in language. Kevin Durant is thirty seven and
- 1:18:30Speaker 2: hats off to you Clay for challenging yourself, because I'm
- 1:18:34Speaker 2: quite sure that was the challenge of trying to come
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: up with Yeah, any just a word to throw in
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: right here, that's not a curse word. Halsey is thirty one,
- 1:18:44Speaker 2: Steve Largent is seventy one, Tyler Lockett the Receiver is
- 1:18:49Speaker 2: thirty three, Naomi Watts fifty seven, A Jezy the Snowman
- 1:18:55Speaker 2: is forty eight, and Terrence Crawford is thirty eight is
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: Terrence Crawford. Incident with Terrence Crawford the other day got
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: pulled over from what I was reading because you have
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: to read the article. Don't stop at just the headline,
- 1:19:10Speaker 2: because the headlines, they really do write them in a
- 1:19:14Speaker 2: way to make you click bait. The story was that
- 1:19:19Speaker 2: him and his friends left whatever event and the car
- 1:19:23Speaker 2: was swerving. The cop pulled them over somewhere and thought
- 1:19:27Speaker 2: they were maybe drunk when he walked up to the car.
- 1:19:31Speaker 2: Because the article cop pulls gun on Terrence Crawford, the
- 1:19:39Speaker 2: cop walked to the car, the gun was on the
- 1:19:42Speaker 2: floor in the car. That's why he pulled his weapon.
- 1:19:47Speaker 2: Now we'd have to go over whatever procedure they got
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: out of the car. Terrence was driving. They all showed
- 1:19:55Speaker 2: them that they had concealed weapons. But I think even
- 1:19:59Speaker 2: in a concealed weapon, it's not supposed to be on
- 1:20:00Speaker 2: the floor. I guess it's or where is it supposed
- 1:20:03Speaker 2: to be.
- 1:20:05Speaker 4: It depends on each state, but I mean most states
- 1:20:08Speaker 4: you can have it on you. You can be loaded and
- 1:20:09Speaker 4: on you. I mean, yeah, on you. But I think
- 1:20:11Speaker 4: the officers was saying.
- 1:20:13Speaker 2: It was some some states display yeah. I mean if
- 1:20:18Speaker 2: you can have a legal gun, yeah, you can have
- 1:20:20Speaker 2: a gun, can be in They make little things you
- 1:20:22Speaker 2: can stick it on, which is why they have so
- 1:20:25Speaker 2: many issues when police say I saw the gun and
- 1:20:28Speaker 2: was in fear for my life, Well, the lost states
- 1:20:31Speaker 2: that I can own a gun and I can possess
- 1:20:33Speaker 2: a gun.
- 1:20:33Speaker 8: Legally, so you're seeing it. The only thing that would
- 1:20:37Speaker 8: make you in fear of your life is who has
- 1:20:39Speaker 8: it and what outside of running my record, would make
- 1:20:42Speaker 8: you fearful just because you saw the gun. Well, I
- 1:20:46Speaker 8: guess maybe the gun being out, maybe a holster.
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: On your hip or somewhere, or but you still can
- 1:20:53Speaker 2: have it, right, Maybe they should just put a decal.
- 1:20:56Speaker 2: Maybe they should give you a decal or the tag
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: should read that. But I wouldn't even know who really
- 1:21:01Speaker 2: driving until I got up there, Right until I got
- 1:21:03Speaker 2: up there. It's just a tense moment, but I'm very
- 1:21:06Speaker 2: tenable where everybody wants it to be. You know, I
- 1:21:10Speaker 2: don't have an indicator right of what it is when
- 1:21:13Speaker 2: I walk up here. And now this is something interesting.
- 1:21:17Speaker 2: You don't want me to react as though I don't
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: see a gun.
- 1:21:20Speaker 8: I've been places where because we are because we are
- 1:21:24Speaker 8: a constitutional carry state. I've been in restaurants and people
- 1:21:27Speaker 8: just walk into the restaurant with their firearm on their hill.
- 1:21:31Speaker 8: Now I'm from a place where any visible firearm makes
- 1:21:35Speaker 8: me uncomfortable.
- 1:21:37Speaker 2: But I'm supposed to be okay.
- 1:21:38Speaker 8: With you and several of your friends having lunch armed,
- 1:21:42Speaker 8: and you're not officers of the law, And so if
- 1:21:46Speaker 8: I would get nervous, I'm sure an officer of the
- 1:21:50Speaker 8: law would become nervous, because again I don't know who
- 1:21:53Speaker 8: you are and what your intentions are. I just have
- 1:21:55Speaker 8: to assume that you're a law abiding citizen.
- 1:22:00Speaker 2: And so what I'm saying, I wonder if we just
- 1:22:01Speaker 2: take it to the next stage, and when those cases,
- 1:22:05Speaker 2: at least you have to wear some kind of pen.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: He would do something, you would think, but but but
- 1:22:11Speaker 2: and I know at some point somebody will start trying
- 1:22:13Speaker 2: to But at least you should have something that but
- 1:22:18Speaker 2: helps someone figure out what's going on, because you're right,
- 1:22:23Speaker 2: you walk in with a gun, but me, you have
- 1:22:25Speaker 2: a license to carry and.
- 1:22:27Speaker 8: Gun possession advocates would say that those kinds of identifiers
- 1:22:31Speaker 8: would signal me out. That's a violation of my civil
- 1:22:35Speaker 8: constitutional right.
- 1:22:37Speaker 2: I thought your right was just to carry the gun. No, No,
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: that's what I'm saying. Cop has to tell you he's
- 1:22:43Speaker 2: a cop, right, right.
- 1:22:44Speaker 8: But if I have something that says I'm a legal
- 1:22:46Speaker 8: gun carrier outside of the permit, something that you can
- 1:22:49Speaker 8: walk up and visibly see, then that labels me because
- 1:22:53Speaker 8: even the cops, even people who aren't cops, can see that.
- 1:22:58Speaker 2: And you might one, why is your issue that I
- 1:23:01Speaker 2: know that you are concealed to carry. She don't want
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: everybody to know what you got. But you're sitting here
- 1:23:06Speaker 2: with the gun on you. But I'm saying something to
- 1:23:08Speaker 2: some people though they can carry. I'm talking about in
- 1:23:11Speaker 2: the case that Kenny and we can come back and
- 1:23:13Speaker 2: talk about it. If you're okay walking into this waffle
- 1:23:16Speaker 2: house with your nine exposed on your hip? How come
- 1:23:20Speaker 2: you don't why you're getting where your button? You're trying
- 1:23:25Speaker 2: to let me know something anyway, right, and that's why
- 1:23:27Speaker 2: you're wearing That's what I'm saying. That's what I'm saying
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: now while you're wearing your gun out right, and those
- 1:23:32Speaker 2: could cover the gun up right, yes, And those are
- 1:23:35Speaker 2: the things to me about the gun carriers. I want
- 1:23:38Speaker 2: to carry my gun and be identified as a gun
- 1:23:41Speaker 2: carrying citizen, but I don't want no ID because I
- 1:23:45Speaker 2: shouldn't have to have that, because that's well, you still
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: want me to know, don't you, so that I've always
- 1:23:52Speaker 2: been confused by that. Just a little oxymoorun wouldn't it
- 1:23:56Speaker 2: fall under that category? Because if you didn't want me
- 1:23:58Speaker 2: to know you had a gun, you wouldn't you have
- 1:24:00Speaker 2: worn something put it away to cover it up. That's
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: why they make hosters that you can. Then you came
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: in here some swim trunks and a hoster. Obviously you
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: wanted me to know you had a gun. Well that's
- 1:24:14Speaker 2: somebody's and the pool. We'll be back. I don't get
- 1:24:20Speaker 2: how everything. You want all the rights, but you don't
- 1:24:24Speaker 2: want me to have any rights. What are my rights
- 1:24:27Speaker 2: as far as my protection and my sensibility? Great question, sir,
- 1:24:32Speaker 2: because if you come in with the gun without depending,
- 1:24:34Speaker 2: I might would have just gone and left because now
- 1:24:36Speaker 2: there's someone in the restaurant with a gun that is not,
- 1:24:40Speaker 2: at least from what I can see, authorized the carriage.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: So I would like to exit the establishment. But if
- 1:24:45Speaker 2: I knew you actually had a carry from it, I
- 1:24:48Speaker 2: have no problem. But so I don't have any rights?
- 1:24:53Speaker 2: Yes not, We'll be back more to Sports Show right
- 1:24:56Speaker 2: after this you think you don't go away, or of.
- 1:25:09Speaker 9: The Sports Josh Show with Wayne dam videos comming up next.
- 1:25:14Speaker 24: When you're high, you feel different, you think different, you
- 1:25:18Speaker 24: talk different, to draw different, you listen to music different.
- 1:25:22Speaker 24: But you probably knew that. The problem is you also
- 1:25:25Speaker 24: drive different, and not in a good way. That's why
- 1:25:29Speaker 24: driving high is illegal everywhere. So if you're high, just
- 1:25:33Speaker 24: don't drive. Make a plan to get a sober ride
- 1:25:36Speaker 24: because if you feel different, you drive different. Brought to

- 1:27:08Speaker 10: You're getting money, throw it.
- 1:27:09Speaker 4: In the super Still smell my clothes.
- 1:27:13Speaker 2: Like Krista Green I was cooking them and the moon
- 1:27:15Speaker 2: like horse shoes, I was tossing the most shown to
- 1:27:18Speaker 2: re up out of a cycle of welcome back to
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: this boy shot show, I'm this boy shock Wayne again.
- 1:27:25Speaker 2: The this another senseless shootings over the weekend. I know
- 1:27:31Speaker 2: here locally here in Atlanta, over at the high school
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: football or a basketball game one of them. I can't
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: remember what sport basketball season about the start three people
- 1:27:42Speaker 2: got shot. Maybe it was a basketball tournament offsover in
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: North Carolina, mass shooting. The guy pulled up on a
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: boat to start shooting at the restaurant, kill like two
- 1:27:55Speaker 2: or three people, shot another four or five and then
- 1:27:57Speaker 2: drove off in the boat. Uh. And then we had
- 1:28:01Speaker 2: in Michigan the church fire shooting yesterday as well. So
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: just guns all around, I guess. And I still don't
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: see the people that love guns. And I'm not against guns,
- 1:28:16Speaker 2: but I think we can put a better spin on
- 1:28:19Speaker 2: how people have them. I never see where people the
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: cases where all of us being able to have a
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: gun is minimizing the deaths. There was one you know
- 1:28:35Speaker 2: how people oh I can't keep my gun, Well, how
- 1:28:38Speaker 2: did that minimize the deaths? There was only one situation.
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: I saw where someone showed up at them all in
- 1:28:48Speaker 2: New Jersey and began randomly shooting at people, and a
- 1:28:51Speaker 2: citizen who was armed shot that person, and they said
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: they were one. Sure that mitigated further injury and death.
- 1:29:01Speaker 2: But the one out of eighty that we see every
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: week sometimes doesn't seem to justify the easy access that
- 1:29:11Speaker 2: people would that people always complain, we have two guns
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: everyone that we The majority of the people that we
- 1:29:19Speaker 2: see committing these horrific crimes generally get their firearms within
- 1:29:25Speaker 2: days two weeks of committing this crime. And you know,
- 1:29:29Speaker 2: there are very few background checks. Those that are aren't
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: that in depth. So you know, but.
- 1:29:39Speaker 8: People who are in favor of Second Amendment rights to
- 1:29:43Speaker 8: arm yourself and carry a firearm see themselves as outside
- 1:29:48Speaker 8: of those concerns. I'm a lawful, responsible gun owner, is
- 1:29:53Speaker 8: how they see themselves.
- 1:29:54Speaker 2: And if they run up on me, then it won't
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: be that. But I wasn't there, So yeah, like you
- 1:30:04Speaker 2: knew the guy that was standing behind you at Starbucks,
- 1:30:08Speaker 2: Like you knew the guy was nobody ever, Yeah, nobody
- 1:30:11Speaker 2: ever knows a new lawsuit alleging that the University of
- 1:30:14Speaker 2: North Carolina and its Board of Trustees illegally hired football
- 1:30:19Speaker 2: coach Bill Belichick behind closed doors. A lawsuit was filed
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: this week by former UNC administrator Chris Clemens and lawyer
- 1:30:32Speaker 2: David Mackenzie also accuses the public institution of hiding discussions
- 1:30:38Speaker 2: about potential conference realignment, highlighting a pattern and practice by
- 1:30:44Speaker 2: UNC to conceal matters of grave public concern behind closed doors.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: I command you sent me this, but I do not
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: understand what was UNC doing wrong. Were they supposed to
- 1:30:57Speaker 2: hire him in a public way, or maybe I just
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: didn't want everybody to know in case Bill turned us down,
- 1:31:07Speaker 2: you know, like, was I supposed to have a meeting
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: and then invite Bill? How does this work? What's illegal
- 1:31:15Speaker 2: about it.
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: That they just hired them and they didn't go through
- 1:31:19Speaker 7: the proper procedure I guess for hiring.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: So they didn't so they didn't have hiring power. How
- 1:31:27Speaker 2: can you hire somebody if you don't have the power
- 1:31:29Speaker 2: to hire them. They didn't do it the right way.
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: They just said, hey, you know, power to hire you.
- 1:31:40Speaker 2: But they meet and votes.
- 1:31:43Speaker 8: Sports, go to the store and get something for dinner,
- 1:31:49Speaker 8: and then I come back with a different brand of coffee.
- 1:31:52Speaker 2: Well, where did you get this from I just was
- 1:31:56Speaker 2: at the store and we needed I didn't tell you
- 1:31:59Speaker 2: to get this. Well, you told me to go to
- 1:32:01Speaker 2: the stove. You didn't tell me not to get it.
- 1:32:04Speaker 2: And people feel like they need more input than they
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: actually need. That's all. That's all sound It sounds like
- 1:32:11Speaker 2: I didn't know. I didn't want to just make it
- 1:32:13Speaker 2: that these people would be that petty. You should have
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: told me you was changing the coffee.
- 1:32:19Speaker 7: Oh but I mean there was a there were supposed
- 1:32:22Speaker 7: to have meetings about changing the coffee.
- 1:32:25Speaker 2: But as the food administra Wait, you've been drinking the
- 1:32:28Speaker 2: same coffee for the last two weeks. You didn't say
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: nothing about it till you saw the different colored container,
- 1:32:34Speaker 2: and now we have a whole issue about where the
- 1:32:36Speaker 2: coffee came. So, and this is the question I have.
- 1:32:39Speaker 4: You have a contract that uh the Chancellor and ad
- 1:32:44Speaker 4: Bubba Cunningham they had release and that the trustees had
- 1:32:48Speaker 4: given So who are the judges or the court people
- 1:32:51Speaker 4: that are taking this case up when you have a
- 1:32:54Speaker 4: contract that it was done properly.
- 1:32:58Speaker 2: Well, these two gentlemen are feeling like they have a case.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: I guess that's what they My thing is who was
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: the former with the court.
- 1:33:06Speaker 4: But I'm saying the judge, he was the judge that's
- 1:33:09Speaker 4: going to sign off on something when you if the
- 1:33:12Speaker 4: contract is legal and binding in this by the chancellor and.
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: If he has a case or not.
- 1:33:18Speaker 7: But I mean, he's this is a guy who used
- 1:33:20Speaker 7: to work there and now he's all as that he
- 1:33:23Speaker 7: was basically like kind of like frozen out of some
- 1:33:26Speaker 7: of these conversations about about about changing conferences that's been discussed,
- 1:33:34Speaker 7: and he felt like he was frozen out of those
- 1:33:38Speaker 7: of those discussions and when he found out, maybe he
- 1:33:41Speaker 7: was the leak.
- 1:33:43Speaker 2: Well, and I just just sometimes hires are done in
- 1:33:46Speaker 2: a tight way where I want a few people to
- 1:33:49Speaker 2: know that we're even doing this. So I was shoying
- 1:33:52Speaker 2: to be out what is the illegal part? And and
- 1:33:56Speaker 2: I get confused because there's some kind of because I
- 1:33:58Speaker 2: know coaches are still state employees, but I don't know
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: what would have made it illegal. Maybe we'll find out
- 1:34:04Speaker 2: more about it other than that they just didn't loop
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: you in. And I'm saying, and I got one your job.
- 1:34:10Speaker 2: If your job in the sports department is office materials,
- 1:34:17Speaker 2: why would we have invited you into this meeting? Just
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: because you on the staff don't mean we got to
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: talk to you about this. I got one question.
- 1:34:25Speaker 4: And for these guys, apparently their UNC grads are is
- 1:34:30Speaker 4: it the off the field things with Bill and probably
- 1:34:33Speaker 4: the losses all of a sudden now that they're you know,
- 1:34:35Speaker 4: we're not coming out the gate at six and zero
- 1:34:39Speaker 4: or five and one, and now all of a sudden
- 1:34:42Speaker 4: they don't like the publicity and all the spotlight on
- 1:34:45Speaker 4: at UNC football.
- 1:34:47Speaker 2: Is that could be that be the problem for this lawsuit? Yeah? No,
- 1:34:51Speaker 2: this is the guy who doesn't work there anymore.
- 1:34:54Speaker 7: Okay, he's he's suing like y'all didn't y'all, y'all, y'all
- 1:34:58Speaker 7: froze me out of these discussions.
- 1:35:00Speaker 2: And then you tried to claim that I leaked this information.
- 1:35:04Speaker 8: Which is probably why you don't work there, and you
- 1:35:07Speaker 8: always call some problems.
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: It's seven people in the room and you only got
- 1:35:12Speaker 2: three votes, so you go, Yeah, I didn't understand through
- 1:35:17Speaker 2: the article, and hopefully we'll get some more information of
- 1:35:19Speaker 2: what it is, because just reading an article, it sounds
- 1:35:22Speaker 2: like maybe you had been invited into some stuff before.
- 1:35:27Speaker 2: But on this decision, we had decided that we were
- 1:35:30Speaker 2: going to keep it between us two and a lot
- 1:35:33Speaker 2: of times people always like to go back to how
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: it was before and forget it didn't have to be
- 1:35:40Speaker 2: that way in the first place. In the first place, Yeah,
- 1:35:44Speaker 2: you can't ever forget that you didn't have to be
- 1:35:46Speaker 2: in the room. I didn't actually have to ask you.
- 1:35:51Speaker 2: It was my dime, my power, my dollar. And how
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: about you you getting comfortable as though you get the
- 1:35:57Speaker 2: way in you forgot that I'm just doing a courtesy,
- 1:36:02Speaker 2: right And how about so they're supposed to be on
- 1:36:04Speaker 2: the days every time?
- 1:36:06Speaker 8: Well, and how about we asked you for your opinion
- 1:36:10Speaker 8: and gave you opportunity to make an input, and we
- 1:36:15Speaker 8: didn't like what you said. It didn't have any impact
- 1:36:18Speaker 8: on what we were doing. So you know what, let
- 1:36:21Speaker 8: flat Earth guy not come to this meeting, you know
- 1:36:25Speaker 8: what I mean.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: So I don't understand how people always feel like they
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: should have access to everything just because they're in proximity
- 1:36:33Speaker 2: of those decisions. Pittsburgh winning yesterday in a game where
- 1:36:38Speaker 2: the Steelers finally look like the Stellers. They're twenty four
- 1:36:41Speaker 2: or twenty one. Their record is three and one. I
- 1:36:45Speaker 2: do a Pittsburgh Stealers podcast on locked On I tell
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: the stealer fans just relax, keep your goal the same,
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: but adjust to how you may get there. Still, there's
- 1:37:01Speaker 2: three and one. They are top of the division with Baltimore,
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: Cincinnati and the Browns. Stop analyzing play to play. Y'all
- 1:37:12Speaker 2: have gotten into a vicious, terrible cycle about sports. One
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: game has nothing to do with the next. That's what
- 1:37:23Speaker 2: the Falcons just showed you. I scored no points against
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: a opponent that probably had less talent than me, and
- 1:37:33Speaker 2: the next week I actually scored more point against a
- 1:37:37Speaker 2: team that probably is better than me defensively. It's weak
- 1:37:41Speaker 2: to we it really is. And everybody has gotten They
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: have drawn a line that's from one game to game
- 1:37:47Speaker 2: eight or everybody when you meet the game eight for
- 1:37:51Speaker 2: their new their starters out. So you don't know whether
- 1:37:56Speaker 2: you're gonna beat that team or not. We don't know
- 1:37:59Speaker 2: how bad Lamar Jackson's hamstring is. Right, So whoever's playing
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: them next, somebody had already counted, Oh well, you know
- 1:38:08Speaker 2: they're gonna beat us. Well you didn't know tomorrow. Now
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: you're sitting there want to call Vegas and pull back
- 1:38:13Speaker 2: your bet and go in another direction. But I do know.
- 1:38:17Speaker 2: Just doing some of these shows. Now, like people are
- 1:38:20Speaker 2: like play to play, why did they make that call?
- 1:38:23Speaker 2: Why did they? Did we win the game? You see?
- 1:38:26Speaker 2: And this is the thing. We win the game. This
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: is the thing sports. There is no perfect science to
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: any of what we're doing out here.
- 1:38:33Speaker 8: And do you know why you know that is because
- 1:38:35Speaker 8: you actually are connected to the game in a first
- 1:38:38Speaker 8: person way. Everything else, all the stuff that I watch
- 1:38:43Speaker 8: about sports have trained my mind and condition to me
- 1:38:47Speaker 8: to believe that I know what I'm talking about. I
- 1:38:50Speaker 8: can read the stuff at the bottom of the screen
- 1:38:51Speaker 8: while I'm watching the game, and I see that Houston
- 1:38:54Speaker 8: is up three points and now they've got eight yards
- 1:38:57Speaker 8: to drive for a first down.
- 1:38:59Speaker 2: And I'm watching the game, I'm multitasking. I'm a sports expert.
- 1:39:03Speaker 8: I've heard stephen A say, but Lebron and now I
- 1:39:06Speaker 8: said that at the barber shop.
- 1:39:08Speaker 2: And how you gonna tell me? I don't know how
- 1:39:10Speaker 2: you gonna tell me? I know it goes it do
- 1:39:13Speaker 2: go like that. Nobody in the breakroom can out talk
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: me about sports. So I'm the authority. There's no way
- 1:39:22Speaker 2: you just because you work for a sports shock show
- 1:39:26Speaker 2: gonna tell me I don't know sports. I'll be killing
- 1:39:29Speaker 2: the break room at some way. We'll be back well.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: In the Sports Hock Show right after this, he said,
- 1:39:36Speaker 2: subway and folks call me the guru the better they
- 1:39:43Speaker 2: ain't none of them by, ain't none of them by something.
- 1:39:46Speaker 2: But it's pretty young thing that was working on the
- 1:39:48Speaker 2: way at the time. On the way at the time,
- 1:39:50Speaker 2: sout what isn't.
- 1:39:57Speaker 9: John Boy Wayne word of the Sports Johns Show would
- 1:39:59Speaker 9: win Dan videos dumbing up mast.
- 1:40:03Speaker 18: Some people won't give you the real talk on drugs,
- 1:40:05Speaker 18: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 1:40:09Speaker 18: It's a powerful opioid, often made illegally and commonly mixed
- 1:40:12Speaker 18: with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into counterfeit
- 1:40:16Speaker 18: pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about the
- 1:40:20Speaker 18: size of a few grains of sand, could potentially be lethal.
- 1:40:23Speaker 18: This isn't an ad to scare you, but it is
- 1:40:25Speaker 18: an AD to make you think twice. Get the facts.

- 1:42:01Speaker 2: can see a sports jaint I'll sing even walk back
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: to this sport shock show. I'm this sport shock Wainge Candy,
- 1:42:10Speaker 2: Good morning to you. The bad producer had mentioned something.
- 1:42:13Speaker 2: I had a couple of conversations last week with some
- 1:42:15Speaker 2: people about centered around Bill Belichick, and it's like outside noise.
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: All Bill Belichick did was go on a date. They
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: started dating the late You didn't even those aren't pictures
- 1:42:32Speaker 2: he took. You went and took some pictures of this
- 1:42:35Speaker 2: man on a date. Seventy year old man without a wife, decided,
- 1:42:42Speaker 2: you know, a young lady paid him some attention, and
- 1:42:45Speaker 2: then you went and ran with this. But people keep
- 1:42:49Speaker 2: making it seem like Bill Belichick brought these things on hisself,
- 1:42:55Speaker 2: and I don't get that part. Can somebody explain why
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: I was having this conversation. I got lost on where
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: Bill Belichick brought this on itself by going outside, I
- 1:43:08Speaker 2: guess by being in public and see that that's the
- 1:43:11Speaker 2: other part about it public. I used to be able
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: to live my life. As long as my job got
- 1:43:23Speaker 2: done at work, I could go home and be me.
- 1:43:33Speaker 2: They called that free time, and I was It used
- 1:43:39Speaker 2: to be a time when that was on me. I
- 1:43:41Speaker 2: could have a hot dog, I could vote for who
- 1:43:44Speaker 2: I wanted to vote for, and I could date younger women.
- 1:43:48Speaker 2: If I was an older dude who had a whole
- 1:43:49Speaker 2: bunch of money and a young woman paid attention to me,
- 1:43:52Speaker 2: it ain't the first time, it won't won't be the last.
- 1:43:56Speaker 2: I don't think Bill Belichick about to start the curve
- 1:44:00Speaker 2: on young dudes, young women and old dudes. And and
- 1:44:04Speaker 2: but because he's Bill Belichick, he he ain't even in
- 1:44:07Speaker 2: the NFL no more. This man doing college football. Yeah,
- 1:44:11Speaker 2: I just don't know. Y'are following him around taking I
- 1:44:15Speaker 2: know it's not him because you're taking pictures of his back.
- 1:44:21Speaker 2: He's not, so I know. It's not like he gave
- 1:44:23Speaker 2: you the camera. I hey, take this picture. What we're
- 1:44:25Speaker 2: gonna do is we're gonna go over there by a
- 1:44:26Speaker 2: mile and I want you to take a picture of
- 1:44:29Speaker 2: us riding away from you. If you didn't call yourself
- 1:44:33Speaker 2: a photographer, you technically be stalking talking to me. Juju
- 1:44:39Speaker 2: Watkins of usc UH says she's gonna miss this year,
- 1:44:43Speaker 2: so it looks like she and her team has decided
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: that she would just sit out this year and get
- 1:44:49Speaker 2: drafted next year. She's not going to try to come
- 1:44:52Speaker 2: out come back. She says she's going to focus on recovery.
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: This is a junior season, so after three years he's
- 1:44:58Speaker 2: eligible for the w N Yeah, if I remember correctly right,
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: they changed it for women's basketball.
- 1:45:03Speaker 7: Yes, what the age requirement is twenty one? Yes, should
- 1:45:10Speaker 7: be twenty one by then.
- 1:45:11Speaker 2: Yes.
- 1:45:11Speaker 8: And that's weird to me too, that I've done so
- 1:45:14Speaker 8: much in my first two years, I ain't even gonna
- 1:45:17Speaker 8: play my third and then you still gonna draft me.
- 1:45:21Speaker 8: What have you done for me lately? What happened to
- 1:45:23Speaker 8: that attitude in sports? What have you done for me lately?
- 1:45:28Speaker 2: Brett Favou went a Super Bowl and if he ain't
- 1:45:30Speaker 2: there for preseason, first day of organized team activity, out everybody,
- 1:45:37Speaker 2: Oh what's going on with Brett? He didn't show up today.
- 1:45:40Speaker 2: As I say all the time, we need to just
- 1:45:43Speaker 2: stop the whole college thing. Create your own league, compete.
- 1:45:49Speaker 2: You know what the competing league is to NFL and
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: NBA and all that college sports, but just dropped the
- 1:45:57Speaker 2: college part. Just drop that part. You know how big
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: this secondary league would be if all those stars got
- 1:46:06Speaker 2: to just stay where they are or went back, Like
- 1:46:09Speaker 2: why the Auburn basketball team got to try to go
- 1:46:12Speaker 2: to pro when none of them was pro? Only one
- 1:46:15Speaker 2: of those guys got drafted. Why can't we just go
- 1:46:19Speaker 2: back to Auburn and go to find the.
- 1:46:23Speaker 7: Guy who played in the G League. He was on
- 1:46:25Speaker 7: the G League at nineteen, but now he can go
- 1:46:30Speaker 7: play in college.
- 1:46:31Speaker 2: Why can't the G League players just go play for
- 1:46:34Speaker 2: these college teams? You want the best sports, right, Well,
- 1:46:37Speaker 2: a lot of the best sports are sitting home because
- 1:46:40Speaker 2: they're not good enough for the league and they have
- 1:46:43Speaker 2: no more eligibility for college. But I'm better than to
- 1:46:47Speaker 2: do that college way better. I'm just not about it
- 1:46:51Speaker 2: that I'm just not good as the dude the pros.
- 1:46:54Speaker 2: Shaduor Sanders could be back in Colorado playing. Shiloh could
- 1:46:59Speaker 2: be back in Colorado playing, still making about two million dollars,
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: starting living up to all those Nike contracts and all
- 1:47:09Speaker 2: that still visible. I ain't seen him in a month.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: If I don't click on something that just took a
- 1:47:16Speaker 2: picture of him on the sideline, we're wasting. He's better
- 1:47:20Speaker 2: than Auburns quarterback. He's better than the current Colorado quarterback.
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: So why is he sending somewhere in the league as
- 1:47:28Speaker 2: the third guy when he could actually be playing and.
- 1:47:31Speaker 8: A season or two will be out of the league completely, look.
- 1:47:36Speaker 2: For something to do. Everybody in mind to this wild
- 1:47:39Speaker 2: experiment I'm talking about, we want the best. If you're
- 1:47:43Speaker 2: gonna do something, you want the best. It's like me
- 1:47:46Speaker 2: in dessert. I don't really eat average dessert. I believe
- 1:47:50Speaker 2: if you gonna eat dessert, you should always find the
- 1:47:55Speaker 2: best of it. Don't be eating them a little two
- 1:47:58Speaker 2: cent cookies? What just pull your calls to them all
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: walking there to the Great American Bakery or whatever. What's
- 1:48:05Speaker 2: this cooky stor American cookie? Get into some of that
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: right there? Yeah, don't don't. Don't be over there just
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: eating them a little. Why you wasting them calories? So
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: they're the same calorie base, but this one is like
- 1:48:18Speaker 2: ten times better. You're gonna well go with the ten
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: times better. And that's what I'm saying. Why is your
- 1:48:23Speaker 2: door in Shiloh. Why isn't Shiloh putting that helmet on
- 1:48:28Speaker 2: somebody at Colorado stell he better than the safety that's there.
- 1:48:34Speaker 2: I thought we wanted the best of sport. So you
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: got a whole millions of people that are froze out
- 1:48:42Speaker 2: because they're not eligible for the end of not good
- 1:48:47Speaker 2: enough of that and I'm better than this, or too old?
- 1:48:51Speaker 2: Why can't we get to still watch them people play?
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: I'm too old for this? Or I want to tune
- 1:48:57Speaker 2: in to the thirty five year old Johnny football against
- 1:49:00Speaker 2: forty year old Tim Tebow Texas and them floor. I'll
- 1:49:03Speaker 2: still tune in like man, because it's the best of
- 1:49:07Speaker 2: the next level. It's the best of the next level.
- 1:49:12Speaker 2: Oh that's all I'm talking about. Education.
- 1:49:16Speaker 7: Excuse me, you're still the facade of education and amateurism
- 1:49:21Speaker 7: like their professionals, you can't go.
- 1:49:23Speaker 5: It's let me say, let me say I'm making too
- 1:49:27Speaker 5: many let me I'm not going to and let me
- 1:49:32Speaker 5: say still, please stop.
- 1:49:33Speaker 2: I'm gonna pay Nobody amateur was before they got paid, right,
- 1:49:37Speaker 2: please stop, and please stop and amateur when it comes
- 1:49:43Speaker 2: to amateurism, please stop. Class listen class for me today? Well,
- 1:49:49Speaker 2: I got three years of class on line. I don't
- 1:49:52Speaker 2: have to go until my senior year. And and this
- 1:49:56Speaker 2: where you go sit in class with me.
- 1:49:57Speaker 8: If we're going to continue with this college sports for
- 1:50:01Speaker 8: sod at least on the sidelines, make the players who
- 1:50:04Speaker 8: ain't dressed out, take off the half million dollars.
- 1:50:08Speaker 2: Jewelry and take off the half suit. I don't want
- 1:50:13Speaker 2: to see that they got the met was so funny.
- 1:50:16Speaker 2: It used to be when you looked at the game,
- 1:50:19Speaker 2: you felt like the college kid was just playing. He's
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: trying to look like Quavo. Yeah nah, that changed probably real.
- 1:50:26Speaker 2: Nice ironbox, ice box Baby, We'll be back more than
- 1:50:30Speaker 2: Sports Ducks show right after this.
- 1:50:35Speaker 18: I'd never lie.
- 1:50:39Speaker 13: In me and some nights She's got his head.
- 1:50:45Speaker 9: John Boy, Wayne Born of the Sports Josh Hill with
- 1:50:48Speaker 9: Wayne Dandidias coming up.
- 1:50:50Speaker 2: Next, Brad Gazanne on a Land United.
- 1:50:55Speaker 3: We know everyone has a ritual, a habit we never
- 1:50:58Speaker 3: skip to clear our minds and elevate our performance.
- 1:51:02Speaker 2: But what do you do to keep your head in
- 1:51:04Speaker 2: the game?
- 1:51:04Speaker 3: Because being your best isn't just about taking care of

- 1:51:09Speaker 3: mental health. Discover the resources you neque to keep your

- 1:51:24Speaker 20: Nobody had to tell your grandparents not to drive all
- 1:51:27Speaker 20: using their typewriters. Why should it be any different for
- 1:51:31Speaker 20: us kids and our cell phones. Distracted driving was the
- 1:51:34Speaker 20: cause of more than three thousand deaths in twenty twenty two.
- 1:51:38Speaker 20: Come on, we're smarter than this. Let's put down the
- 1:51:41Speaker 20: phones and focus on the roads. Drive safe, everybody.
- 1:51:45Speaker 2: Don't drive distracted.
- 1:51:47Speaker 11: A message brought to you by the National Highway Traffic
- 1:51:49Speaker 11: Safety Administration, Project yellow Light and the AD Council.
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: And now back to the sports job, Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:00Speaker 1: Now it's time for the school board when we put
- 1:52:04Speaker 1: a spin on light and sports and how they intermingle
- 1:52:08Speaker 1: on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy, Gentlemen.
- 1:52:17Speaker 2: And ladies, bags everything in between. This boy, the dude,
- 1:52:27Speaker 2: what a bang your head? What young Jesus? All right,
- 1:52:30Speaker 2: we're gonna bring it to something like this running out
- 1:52:33Speaker 2: the incredible chill. Let's get it first time post Sagma
- 1:52:40Speaker 2: pro Damn. Welcome back to this boy, Shock Shock, I'm
- 1:52:43Speaker 2: this boy Shock, Wayne Gandy. Seven fifteen Jets, Dolphins, eight
- 1:52:47Speaker 2: fifteen Bengals, Broncos Tonight, Seattle on Thursday Night, Winning twenty
- 1:52:55Speaker 2: three twenty. As I said over in Ireland, the Stillers
- 1:52:58Speaker 2: put together a performance where they finally for the first
- 1:53:02Speaker 2: time of the year, they got over one hundred yards
- 1:53:04Speaker 2: rushing Aaron Rodgers and that team three and one. Really
- 1:53:08Speaker 2: can't figure out what the team is yet, but they're
- 1:53:11Speaker 2: three and one. Just win some games and that's all
- 1:53:15Speaker 2: I want. I don't care how to style, who wanted win,
- 1:53:18Speaker 2: how offense didn't score defense, Just win the game, that's
- 1:53:23Speaker 2: what you want. The Giants starting Jackson Dark yesterday against
- 1:53:27Speaker 2: the Chargers. Chargers one of those games. Chargers came into
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: the game with the best defense in the league. Jackson
- 1:53:34Speaker 2: Dart ran for a touchdown through for a touchdown. I
- 1:53:37Speaker 2: still don't really think the shuttle pass shovel pass should
- 1:53:39Speaker 2: be counted as a pass, but it is what it is.
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: But twenty one eighteen, Dart in Dark looking like like
- 1:53:47Speaker 2: I'm saying his package is a dual threat thing. Let's
- 1:53:51Speaker 2: do the old miss thing he hit that up. Ain't
- 1:53:54Speaker 2: no heed to be trying to reinvent the wheel bit.
- 1:53:56Speaker 2: Kenny do just what he knows. What do you know? Day?
- 1:54:03Speaker 2: He was twenty one eighteen the Chargers. As I said,
- 1:54:07Speaker 2: one of those games, if you ran it through assimilation.
- 1:54:11Speaker 2: The team attitude towards an O and three team starting
- 1:54:16Speaker 2: a rookie dropped that's all it is. That's in dark.
- 1:54:21Speaker 2: It's impossible.
- 1:54:22Speaker 8: Where do Where does the desire or the pressure to
- 1:54:27Speaker 8: do something other than what made you successful come from?
- 1:54:33Speaker 2: Andrew Dice Clay tried to do a clean show that
- 1:54:37Speaker 2: ain't the Girl Because everybody wants to show themselves to
- 1:54:39Speaker 2: be diverse. Everybody wants to try to It's one of
- 1:54:44Speaker 2: those things. That's why athletes try to open up businesses.
- 1:54:48Speaker 2: They don't want to be defined just that, so they'll
- 1:54:52Speaker 2: go lose money trying to show you that I'm more
- 1:54:55Speaker 2: than the greatest receiver in the world. And what's wrong
- 1:54:59Speaker 2: with that? Being the greatest receiver that ever lived? I'm
- 1:55:03Speaker 2: cool with that. Jerry Rice, World? What not local? The world? Craig.
- 1:55:13Speaker 2: Do you know how cold you got to be to
- 1:55:16Speaker 2: be the world? Something? I'm not the nicest parts of it,
- 1:55:22Speaker 2: the whole world, Craig. They're all trying to be me.
- 1:55:25Speaker 2: But check these wings out. Why no, that's fine for
- 1:55:32Speaker 2: the barbecue at your house, But I don't need you
- 1:55:35Speaker 2: to open up a chain that hobby and year old
- 1:55:38Speaker 2: mango wings store that said, Caroline go stop, that's fine.
- 1:55:42Speaker 2: Let somebody else do that. Just be world, Just be world,
- 1:55:46Speaker 2: and I get. I get so frustrated with everybody wanting
- 1:55:49Speaker 2: to be diverse, and that's what you do. And that's
- 1:55:54Speaker 2: where people like Kobe. That's why they called it the
- 1:55:58Speaker 2: Mumbo mentality, because I'll want to do I want to
- 1:56:01Speaker 2: do basketball this. That doesn't mean that maybe once he
- 1:56:04Speaker 2: finished he was going to do something else, but at
- 1:56:06Speaker 2: the time of his years of basketball, that's all I want.
- 1:56:09Speaker 4: Kobe might have cut the people's hair, he might have
- 1:56:12Speaker 4: been an awesome rapper, but he displayed his world talent
- 1:56:17Speaker 4: in basketball.
- 1:56:18Speaker 2: The Texans over Tennessee twenty six to zero. Tennessee and
- 1:56:25Speaker 2: their quarterback ward had some choice words after y'all just
- 1:56:29Speaker 2: not a good team and that's why you were the
- 1:56:31Speaker 2: first pick. I'm sorry for your young man. It's a
- 1:56:35Speaker 2: hard reality, truly it is. It's one of the greatest
- 1:56:39Speaker 2: honors to ever take part of, to be the first pick.
- 1:56:45Speaker 2: But that also means you're going to, at least in
- 1:56:48Speaker 2: the NFL, because they are on worst team, get the
- 1:56:54Speaker 2: best pick. NBA, they mix some balls together. The worst
- 1:57:00Speaker 2: team can't have less than like the third pick or
- 1:57:02Speaker 2: something or fourth pick. But in the NFL, it means
- 1:57:06Speaker 2: you're going to the worst team and I'm quite sure.
- 1:57:08Speaker 2: It's very frustrating, and there's been a lot of good
- 1:57:10Speaker 2: quarterbacks that ended up their whole career got messed up,
- 1:57:14Speaker 2: but they could not deal with man. By the time,
- 1:57:17Speaker 2: you just with the wrong team. By the time you
- 1:57:20Speaker 2: figure it out, you'll either be on got sacked nine
- 1:57:23Speaker 2: hundred times. Give me when it's a right one wrong time,
- 1:57:27Speaker 2: that's the wrong time. Buffalo Josh Allen thirty one over
- 1:57:31Speaker 2: the Saint Saints looked like they're putting their rent hat
- 1:57:33Speaker 2: in the ring for the first pick and not intentionally. No,
- 1:57:37Speaker 2: they won't to win. This won't be one of them.
- 1:57:40Speaker 2: I can't. They kind of make it seem laugh They
- 1:57:45Speaker 2: arms tied, they swing, they just not landing any punches.
- 1:57:49Speaker 2: Tampa Bay losing yesterday, Baker Mayfield and that team coming
- 1:57:54Speaker 2: back had Mike Evans out, which is always a big
- 1:57:56Speaker 2: part in that.
- 1:57:57Speaker 16: A J.
- 1:57:58Speaker 2: Brown kind of upset. I guess he's not getting the
- 1:58:00Speaker 2: ball Instagram And last year wasn't it that same thing?
- 1:58:04Speaker 2: Last year he was yeah, right for a Super Bowl
- 1:58:07Speaker 2: he was saying the same thing. But they are four
- 1:58:09Speaker 2: and over.
- 1:58:10Speaker 7: Yeah, I thought he was writing books but reading the
- 1:58:16Speaker 7: receiver rather have two catches for seven yards and they win,
- 1:58:21Speaker 7: or twelve catches and yards to touchdowns.
- 1:58:25Speaker 2: Some more books on the sideline. I'm just saying, too
- 1:58:28Speaker 2: much time usual you go and and event when you
- 1:58:30Speaker 2: lose it, I get by cam More invented and four
- 1:58:34Speaker 2: don't see no type of sunrise. There ain't no sunrise coming.
- 1:58:38Speaker 2: It's all Alaska and then Alaska where it's dark from
- 1:58:42Speaker 2: one side of the year. But listen, listen, I'm not caring.
- 1:58:45Speaker 2: I don't care about the sunrise unless the sun is
- 1:58:47Speaker 2: rising on me. And that's how A J. Brown sound like.
- 1:58:50Speaker 2: I don't want to be fouring old, and y'all ain't
- 1:58:53Speaker 2: throwing the ball. Just got me out here blocking making
- 1:58:57Speaker 2: money and and win top tier money. Yeah, and winning.
- 1:59:01Speaker 2: I'm not No. No, if you think I'm gonna be
- 1:59:03Speaker 2: satisfied with that, that's I gave you a seventeen million No.
- 1:59:08Speaker 8: No, what I'm saying is and then this morning we
- 1:59:11Speaker 8: turn on ESPN. How many times did you see me?
- 1:59:14Speaker 2: How many I saw your tweet? Though? Are your Instagram posts?
- 1:59:21Speaker 2: We can't go on like this. We can't go on.
- 1:59:24Speaker 2: He can't keep doing this, this million dollar a week
- 1:59:27Speaker 2: now without any headlines. I can't do this Detroit beating
- 1:59:33Speaker 2: the Browns, the Patriots. As I said over Carolina, Vegas,
- 1:59:40Speaker 2: the Raiders losing a tight one. Yesterday twenty five, twenty four,
- 1:59:45Speaker 2: Gentry genty gent is.
- 1:59:50Speaker 7: He went back to his original hea dance where he
- 1:59:54Speaker 7: stands straight up. Okay, he went he takes reservations. Yeah,
- 1:59:59Speaker 7: he got a rest for all of y'all. Yes, Chip
- 2:00:02Speaker 7: Kelly tried to give him the stock doing he went
- 2:00:04Speaker 7: back to it. Jess a salad anybody. Oh, No, I'm
- 2:00:08Speaker 7: good on the side. That water got me. Woo, that
- 2:00:14Speaker 7: water got me stuffed. No, I don't need nothing else
- 2:00:18Speaker 7: on this side of the tank.
- 2:00:19Speaker 2: He will put that thing on you. I don't just
- 2:00:21Speaker 2: come up here. You know it's not built up like
- 2:00:24Speaker 2: Derrick Henry. Now, don't just come up here, you thinking
- 2:00:27Speaker 2: you're gonna grab it and and throng flip flops in
- 2:00:30Speaker 2: the tank top. You will get no nothing but this.
- 2:00:33Speaker 2: We have a dress code here. Yes, so, and that's
- 2:00:36Speaker 2: how he ran the ball. Yes, they're good running back,
- 2:00:40Speaker 2: but falling short. Were the Raiders to the bears, and
- 2:00:45Speaker 2: we are in the ocean. The truth is he will
- 2:00:51Speaker 2: throw your in the ocean.
- 2:00:53Speaker 16: It's time to wrap things up.
- 2:00:55Speaker 2: On the Sports Junk Show, its Wayne Candy. When you're

- 2:01:57Speaker 2: hear the replay of the show today. The Sports Jock
- 2:02:02Speaker 2: kind of a duel. I'm throwing the principle in the ocean,
- 2:02:08Speaker 2: but I'm giving you some information just in case you
- 2:02:11Speaker 2: didn't know. Restaurants, if you find yourself in there and
- 2:02:16Speaker 2: there's only one or two people in there, check your bill.
- 2:02:20Speaker 2: Certain restaurants are adding a quiet time surcharge, meaning that
- 2:02:26Speaker 2: if it's light, if it's not that busy. They consider
- 2:02:31Speaker 2: that kind of like eating on a private plane, that
- 2:02:35Speaker 2: you have the restaurant to yourself because nobody is here
- 2:02:38Speaker 2: at this time, not because of you, just because ain't
- 2:02:42Speaker 2: nobody there but you, But since you have that quiet time,
- 2:02:46Speaker 2: it's kind of like private service and they're adding a
- 2:02:50Speaker 2: surcharge to your bill for that quiet time, and that's
- 2:02:57Speaker 2: why they call it the quiet time. So check your bill.
- 2:03:01Speaker 2: I don't even know if it's legal. How about might
- 2:03:04Speaker 2: want to call your congressmen and your state representative.
- 2:03:06Speaker 23: It might be.
- 2:03:07Speaker 2: And it used to be called credit card prom a surcharge.
- 2:03:14Speaker 2: Right before the tip it says quiet time. It's sort
- 2:03:18Speaker 2: of like administration quiet time. So the zero marketing fee.
- 2:03:24Speaker 2: How about commending Greg for all you restaurants out there
- 2:03:27Speaker 2: with your this new secret quiet and for you out there,
- 2:03:33Speaker 2: just remember if you look around, ain't but two tables
- 2:03:37Speaker 2: in there. Check your bill, walk ups, Belichick, the food Green.
- 2:03:53Speaker 2: It won't be quiet for long. If I get that
- 2:03:55Speaker 2: charge in eighty five eighty four, we're gonna turn up tonight.
- 2:03:59Speaker 2: I bet you everybody here stand well. If you have
- 2:04:01Speaker 2: a good afternoon from the Sports Shock Show, Peace,
