- 0:33Speaker 6: In the superiodare.
- 0:37Speaker 1: It was pro day on a lot of major college
- 0:40Speaker 1: campuses today, including here at Texas A and M. We'll
- 0:43Speaker 1: have some comments tomorrow on that on the show. Scott
- 0:46Speaker 1: Clandennon is with us as he is most Wednesdays. He
- 0:49Speaker 1: will be at Dacon Park tomorrow the Ice Box in
- 0:55Speaker 1: Houston for the opener against Mike Trout. He's healthy right now,
- 1:01Speaker 1: right He's starting tomorrow as far as you know. And
- 1:04Speaker 1: the pitching Los Angeles Angels of California what are they.
- 1:09Speaker 6: Now, Los Angeles Angels of.
- 1:12Speaker 1: California or just the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim Los
- 1:16Speaker 1: Angeles Angels of Anaheim.
- 1:18Speaker 7: Yeah, no, I don't know.
- 1:20Speaker 6: They're still just the La Angels.
- 1:21Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, all right.
- 1:23Speaker 6: Because they are and it is an Angels town.
- 1:26Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it is. It's not a Dodgers town. Anaheim
- 1:30Speaker 1: is an Angels town. Anaheim is is probably a sixty
- 1:34Speaker 1: percent what is it tray Los Angeles Angels. There you go.
- 1:39Speaker 1: They owned that city. They've had so much success over
- 1:42Speaker 1: the years.
- 1:43Speaker 7: Yeah, okay, well we'll talk pro baseball here a little bit.
- 1:48Speaker 7: Let's let's talk.
- 1:50Speaker 1: I started to say amateur baseball. Let's talk college baseball. Yeah,
- 1:56Speaker 1: tell me a little bit about Jory and Wilson.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Super athletic, large, big human being, big human being and
- 2:13Speaker 6: a bright future.
- 2:15Speaker 7: Yeah. I just saw that that.
- 2:18Speaker 1: Early said that he had to sign a waiver because
- 2:22Speaker 1: he was just seventeen when he entered school, right, yes,
- 2:25Speaker 1: David eighteen.
- 2:26Speaker 6: Yes, he played last summer with the Bombers.
- 2:29Speaker 7: Oh he did, Yes, I didn't know that.
- 2:31Speaker 6: Okay, hit some hit some big, big flies, big flies
- 2:34Speaker 6: there too. He needs a bats he needs to go
- 2:39Speaker 6: this summer. He needs to go somewhere where he'll get
- 2:42Speaker 6: forty games in yeah, and it and four at bats
- 2:46Speaker 6: a day. I don't think he's going to be worn
- 2:49Speaker 6: down Yeah, after a long college season. Uh, he's a
- 2:54Speaker 6: very talented guy. Uh. Clearly he's the Aggy's fourth best
- 2:58Speaker 6: outfielder and that shows to the depth of TK Surrell
- 3:05Speaker 6: and a doer. But he is, he is. He is
- 3:12Speaker 6: going to make somebody at the next level very happy
- 3:17Speaker 6: when they draft him in the first or second round
- 3:19Speaker 6: two years from now.
- 3:20Speaker 7: Do you think he'll be that high?
- 3:22Speaker 6: He'll be that high.
- 3:22Speaker 7: Yeah, because of the physical tools that the city has.
- 3:25Speaker 6: Yes, saw the arm last night. Yeah, plus arm. What
- 3:30Speaker 6: I liked was the fact that Sunday he had on
- 3:36Speaker 6: consecutive plays too, really bad base running decisions. He didn't
- 3:41Speaker 6: go first to third on a ball that went off
- 3:42Speaker 6: the glove, and then on a ball that was hit
- 3:46Speaker 6: the third base he went back to second, and all
- 3:50Speaker 6: sorts of mass confusion followed thereafter, which is fine. Last night,
- 3:56Speaker 6: ran the bases perfectly. Okay, still learning, still learn, But
- 4:00Speaker 6: took the coaching right away, didn't didn't mope. Coaches did
- 4:04Speaker 6: a good job getting him back out there immediately, because
- 4:08Speaker 6: you know, he got hammered on pretty good. Yes, all
- 4:10Speaker 6: the coaches not happy with how he how he did
- 4:13Speaker 6: that and then responded right away. And that's what you
- 4:16Speaker 6: have to do. You have to respond back right away.
- 4:19Speaker 6: What about Cole Hubert, don't move him off Tuesdays? If
- 4:26Speaker 6: you can throw Cole Hubert and Grant Cunningham and win
- 4:28Speaker 6: every Tuesday game the rest of the layout, if they're
- 4:32Speaker 6: if they are, if they have to be their best
- 4:36Speaker 6: to have that kind of success in SEC games, and
- 4:39Speaker 6: they give you wins each and every Tuesday, just let
- 4:43Speaker 6: them be Tuesday and take everybody else you have and
- 4:47Speaker 6: put them in the weekend and have it mix and
- 4:49Speaker 6: match however you need to do it on the weekend. Okay,
- 4:53Speaker 6: Vargas is getting better, but I think that Vargas is Fargus.
- 4:58Speaker 7: Yes, opposite Cherry opposit. I'm sorry.
- 5:01Speaker 6: Vargas is still making that transition from mid major with
- 5:07Speaker 6: high major stuff to not just being a guy with
- 5:11Speaker 6: stuff anymore but being a pitcher. And he's getting better.
- 5:14Speaker 6: He got rocked pretty good at Oklahoma, but he's gotten
- 5:17Speaker 6: better since then. But if you can just say, hey,
- 5:21Speaker 6: Cunningham and you know, just you guys, go do it.
- 5:27Speaker 6: And I think A and M would be in a
- 5:28Speaker 6: good position because they gave away games last year on Tuesdays.
- 5:33Speaker 1: They did.
- 5:34Speaker 6: That's what cost him going to the playoffs last year
- 5:36Speaker 6: and Missouri. But are you going to be in the
- 5:39Speaker 6: same frame of mind was Missouri if you had five
- 5:42Speaker 6: more you know, if you had five more wins and
- 5:46Speaker 6: you were sitting ten games over five hundred, instead of
- 5:48Speaker 6: playing Missouri at even up where you have to beat them,
- 5:52Speaker 6: and you've taken some of that pressure off the balloon. Well,
- 5:56Speaker 6: we'll find out, because I think that I think that
- 6:00Speaker 6: I have seen, you know, teams that that have been
- 6:04Speaker 6: on the bubble in this league that get an opportunity
- 6:08Speaker 6: to go play at the next level because the NCAA
- 6:11Speaker 6: is not holding it against the sec that they've gotten
- 6:13Speaker 6: so big that you're gonna have teams that don't have
- 6:16Speaker 6: good records that can still go win basketball games or
- 6:19Speaker 6: baseball or baseball.
- 6:20Speaker 7: Yeah. So, uh Seday on Friday's stick concerning.
- 6:28Speaker 6: No stick with it chip, he gave up two home
- 6:33Speaker 6: runs on balls at the exit angle was forty nine degrees.
- 6:39Speaker 6: They got up in the wind and were blown out
- 6:42Speaker 6: because of that. The first home run, Bear Harrison behind
- 6:46Speaker 6: the plate pointed.
- 6:46Speaker 7: At it is a pop fly. Yeah, yeah, okay, yeah,
- 6:49Speaker 7: we talked about that Monday.
- 6:50Speaker 6: They got up in the wind and the wind just
- 6:53Speaker 6: carried him out. Okay, they were solo shots as.
- 6:57Speaker 1: As as good stuff because his strikeout race was way
- 7:02Speaker 1: up there. Right, Yes, but he also can't miss right, No,
- 7:09Speaker 1: because guys in the SEC will make him pay when
- 7:11Speaker 1: he misses.
- 7:11Speaker 7: Right.
- 7:11Speaker 6: But I don't even think those are missing.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Yeah, No, I know what you're saying about that. I'm
- 7:17Speaker 1: just saying I don't care how, I don't care what's happening. Right,
- 7:20Speaker 1: he just can't give up eight runs every Friday night.
- 7:23Speaker 6: Western Moss missed and got pummel. Yeah. Yeah, the six
- 7:28Speaker 6: home runs there were more on misses in that game
- 7:31Speaker 6: then balls that just got up in the air and
- 7:33Speaker 6: flew out on the jet string. And then it may
- 7:37Speaker 6: be that Aiden Simms ends up being your number two
- 7:40Speaker 6: and Western Moss goes to three. I don't know if
- 7:42Speaker 6: they're at that position yet, but you're also Western Moss
- 7:46Speaker 6: has four starts in his career at A and M
- 7:49Speaker 6: now four or five, and you may just want to
- 7:52Speaker 6: keep him in Sundays where he's comfortable and things are working,
- 7:56Speaker 6: because he's also getting matched up against teams that don't
- 7:59Speaker 6: have as good a third starter is A and M's
- 8:01Speaker 6: running out. So far, that's been Oklahoma, and that's been.
- 8:04Speaker 1: But as early said, hey, I like him there. Sunday
- 8:07Speaker 1: is obviously important, you know, I mean every game. I
- 8:10Speaker 1: get that, But as you mentioned, you've got a guy
- 8:14Speaker 1: that has overmatched the Sunday pitchers so far. A good
- 8:20Speaker 1: Oklahoma had a good hitting Georgia team.
- 8:24Speaker 6: But I'm saying and as far as the pitchers, yes,
- 8:26Speaker 6: good numbers. Now Georgia was TBA on Sunday Okay, And
- 8:32Speaker 6: I talked about this on tech Acts last week two
- 8:34Speaker 6: weeks ago. Actually, even if it's not great, if A
- 8:39Speaker 6: and M is locked in with those three guys and
- 8:42Speaker 6: they can have those three guys pitch every weekend, it's
- 8:45Speaker 6: a lot better. Last week, you had four SEC teams
- 8:49Speaker 6: that were already to be announced on their third start,
- 8:53Speaker 6: and that's because they don't have answers. Yeah, number three,
- 8:56Speaker 6: and if you're a team with answers at number three,
- 8:58Speaker 6: you have an advantage.
- 9:00Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 9:00Speaker 6: So Texas has it, l LSU does not. They were TBA,
- 9:06Speaker 6: Arkansas was all three were named. Tennessee had a TBA.
- 9:10Speaker 6: So it's some some teams.
- 9:12Speaker 7: That have talent normally, right, right, right?
- 9:14Speaker 1: But what so what what's your Well, only two weeks
- 9:17Speaker 1: in what's your assessment of the league?
- 9:19Speaker 7: Right now?
- 9:21Speaker 6: Vandy and LSU are in the same position A and
- 9:25Speaker 6: M was in last year. They're in they're the pitcher
- 9:31Speaker 6: plant and they're teetering right now, and if they have
- 9:35Speaker 6: a good weekend, they can get poured out and fly away.
- 9:40Speaker 6: They have another bad weekend and then you drop down
- 9:42Speaker 6: in the pitcher plant, and then you have to do
- 9:44Speaker 6: what A and M did last year, which was win
- 9:46Speaker 6: a series against the eventual the defending national champion, beat
- 9:50Speaker 6: the team that won the national championship last year, and
- 9:53Speaker 6: go on that run like you did in the middle
- 9:55Speaker 6: of the year, which is very, very hard. But then
- 9:57Speaker 6: you have so much pressure on you that you can't
- 9:59Speaker 6: have a flub weekend like you did against Missouri. So
- 10:03Speaker 6: it puts you in a position where you have to
- 10:04Speaker 6: play perfect baseball, and that's hard to do with eighteen
- 10:08Speaker 6: to twenty one year olds. It's hard to do with
- 10:10Speaker 6: forty year olds. That's real hard to do with twenty
- 10:13Speaker 6: one year olds. So one of them could teeter and
- 10:17Speaker 6: go in the tank. Somebody's got to lose in this league. Yeah,
- 10:21Speaker 6: somebody has to lose. Besides Missouri. Somebody has to lose
- 10:26Speaker 6: and in college softball. Right now, chip Ole Miss has
- 10:31Speaker 6: played three top ten teams in a row in softball. Okay,
- 10:37Speaker 6: they're to nine. They play another top ten team this week,
- 10:42Speaker 6: they have an off week, and then they come here
- 10:44Speaker 6: to play A and M, which might be close to
- 10:46Speaker 6: the top ten.
- 10:46Speaker 7: Again.
- 10:47Speaker 6: They can be fifteen in their first three series, I
- 10:52Speaker 6: mean first five seers good, still be really good. But
- 10:55Speaker 6: somebody has to lose.
- 10:57Speaker 7: Yes, there are losses.
- 10:58Speaker 6: In this league. Nine football games.
- 11:01Speaker 7: Sounds like football.
- 11:02Speaker 6: Nine football games. You add a loss to half the teams.
- 11:04Speaker 7: In your league, yep.
- 11:07Speaker 6: And the depth of the diamond sports. You know, you
- 11:13Speaker 6: just had Steve ditting on again, Chip, somebody has to
- 11:16Speaker 6: lose tennis. All those teams are full.
- 11:19Speaker 7: Of pro players, pro players.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, so uh you know, all right, let's go
- 11:27Speaker 1: to uh, let's go to big leagues.
- 11:31Speaker 7: Let's go to the big leagues.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Okay, let's go to the bigs. Can you believe? Before
- 11:37Speaker 6: we start? Can you believe?
- 11:39Speaker 3: Who?
- 11:39Speaker 6: Do you think the Athletic hat is the number one
- 11:41Speaker 6: team in their power rankings?
- 11:44Speaker 1: My guess, and this is a crazy guess, right the Dodgers?
- 11:48Speaker 6: Yes? Wow, okay, guess who was number two? I don't
- 11:52Speaker 6: know the New York Yankees. Yeah, no, no, no, come on,
- 11:58Speaker 6: the Mats. No it was a Yankee.
- 12:00Speaker 7: Oh it was Yankees.
- 12:01Speaker 6: But come on, they're not the second best team in baseball.
- 12:04Speaker 6: You don't think so, No, I do not. Okay, I
- 12:06Speaker 6: don't know who the second best team in baseball is. Well,
- 12:09Speaker 6: I know sand behind the Dodgers. I know San Diego's
- 12:13Speaker 6: gotten a little bit worse. Yeah, okay, yeah, the Astros.
- 12:18Speaker 7: I know the pitching staff is still hurt.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Right, No, Actually, Louis was telling me they had like
- 12:24Speaker 1: four on the DL or something like that.
- 12:26Speaker 6: No, they're closers on the DL, but they just spent
- 12:29Speaker 6: sent Arrogatty down because they were correct. They want him
- 12:32Speaker 6: to start for sugar Land.
- 12:34Speaker 7: I did see that.
- 12:35Speaker 6: So when in two weeks when they can go to
- 12:37Speaker 6: the six man rotation, he's ready to go. But Lance
- 12:41Speaker 6: mcuelers is throwing significantly harder than he did last year.
- 12:45Speaker 7: I don't trust him.
- 12:46Speaker 6: I understand if you don't trust him. Okay, do you well?
- 12:51Speaker 6: Last year it was can you be ready at mid season?
- 12:54Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 12:55Speaker 6: And this year, having a full spring training to go
- 13:00Speaker 6: for him to get some velocity back is a step
- 13:02Speaker 6: in the right direction.
- 13:03Speaker 7: By the way.
- 13:04Speaker 1: I just want to throw this in. You were encouraged
- 13:07Speaker 1: to come early tomorrow to kick off the season with
- 13:10Speaker 1: live entertainment, family friendly activities, and plenty of Astro's excitement.
- 13:18Speaker 1: You can have your picture taken with Penny the Eagle.
- 13:22Speaker 1: Who's Penny the Eagle? Courtesy of Budweiser.
- 13:26Speaker 6: Oh, that's the eagle that's flying in the Super Bowl
- 13:28Speaker 6: car cool?
- 13:31Speaker 7: Is you need to do that outside? Yes, sir, you
- 13:34Speaker 7: need to do that. No, no, you get you need
- 13:37Speaker 7: to take your picture with that eagle. That is cool.
- 13:40Speaker 1: And I bet there'll be a probably horse there and
- 13:43Speaker 1: nearbyen he'll be sitting on his back.
- 13:45Speaker 6: I bet you it's a statue. I bet you it's
- 13:47Speaker 6: not real.
- 13:48Speaker 1: I don't know it, says Penny the Eagle, courtesy of Budweiser.
- 13:53Speaker 1: And the Champion's Pavilion. I don't know where the Champion's
- 13:58Speaker 1: Pavilion is.
- 13:59Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 14:00Speaker 7: Okay, that's fine.
- 14:02Speaker 6: All I know is is probably where they tore down
- 14:03Speaker 6: my barbecue place that used to be outside the park
- 14:06Speaker 6: that they they owned, the property that sat.
- 14:08Speaker 1: On throwing out the first pitch. Astros bnch coach Omar Lopez,
- 14:16Speaker 1: who won the World Baseball Classic as manager of the
- 14:21Speaker 1: Team Venezueli.
- 14:22Speaker 6: He out coached the coach for Team USA.
- 14:25Speaker 1: I think everybody did. I'm pretty sure I did.
- 14:30Speaker 7: The playball call.
- 14:32Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 1: Twenty twenty three World Baseball Classic alum and twenty twenty
- 14:37Speaker 1: two World Series champ Ryan Presley the newest member of
- 14:43Speaker 1: their Bronx BA City Home network.
- 14:45Speaker 7: I didn't know that. Yes, so he's done.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Yes, okay, just was he forced to retire because of
- 14:51Speaker 1: arm issues?
- 14:52Speaker 6: No?
- 14:52Speaker 7: Are just people hit it.
- 14:54Speaker 6: He was forced to retire of a non contract renewal
- 14:58Speaker 6: by the Chicago Cups, but no.
- 15:00Speaker 7: One else wanted it.
- 15:01Speaker 6: Nobody wanted it.
- 15:02Speaker 7: Okay, interesting, Yeah, he's In't he fairly younger? Am I
- 15:05Speaker 7: wrong about that?
- 15:06Speaker 6: He's he's.
- 15:09Speaker 1: Okay, Okay, let's see. I was trying to find out
- 15:17Speaker 1: all of the promotional items. You're missing Friday Night fireworks
- 15:22Speaker 1: and Dollar Dog Night on Friday. No, no Friday fireworks, right,
- 15:28Speaker 1: Dollar Dog Night is usually Wednesdays?
- 15:31Speaker 7: Is it Tuesdays in Houston? It's Wednesdays in Arlington. I
- 15:34Speaker 7: do know that.
- 15:34Speaker 6: Are they Nolan Ryan Franks?
- 15:37Speaker 7: Oh?
- 15:37Speaker 6: I don't think that.
- 15:38Speaker 7: I don't think they are.
- 15:39Speaker 6: I don't think so.
- 15:40Speaker 7: I don't think Nolan.
- 15:41Speaker 1: I don't know who's out and who's in with Nolan
- 15:43Speaker 1: right now. It changes, by the way, Yes.
- 15:47Speaker 6: One customer at the Astros game will get chosen and
- 15:53Speaker 6: he gets to go to the front of the TSA
- 15:55Speaker 6: line the next day.
- 15:56Speaker 8: Ah.
- 15:57Speaker 1: That is a heck of a deal right there. I
- 16:01Speaker 1: would drive down for that possibility. Now, I'm not scheduled
- 16:04Speaker 1: to take one person. You you have flowed, but but
- 16:08Speaker 1: you you flew before it, right before everything went crazy, right.
- 16:14Speaker 6: I was still the worst trip I've ever seen. And
- 16:17Speaker 6: I counted on four hours of by the way, I
- 16:20Speaker 6: counted on four hours of standing in the line, and
- 16:23Speaker 6: I stood in the line for fifteen minutes.
- 16:25Speaker 1: Okay, so I have a I have a travel story,
- 16:29Speaker 1: but I'm not going to tell it till tomorrow. It's
- 16:31Speaker 1: outdoor day, So I'll tell my travel story tomorrow.
- 16:35Speaker 7: I can't I can match you.
- 16:37Speaker 1: You'll be You'll be. Maybe I'll tell you. But but
- 16:39Speaker 1: since you'll be at the game, you.
- 16:41Speaker 6: Just text me and I will put my earbuds in
- 16:44Speaker 6: and I'll listen to your show while watching the Astros. Okay,
- 16:47Speaker 6: because that's going to happen at what time tomorrow? Because
- 16:51Speaker 6: what time you wht me on tomorrow, Well you need
- 16:53Speaker 6: me on.
- 16:54Speaker 1: It, I'd like you on it four fifteen, four fifteen, okay,
- 16:58Speaker 1: and maybe now, maybe right at five o'clock.
- 17:01Speaker 7: Okay, Well that was yes, okay, okay, So we'll do that.
- 17:05Speaker 6: And then I and then you'll let me know when
- 17:07Speaker 6: I can listen to your story.
- 17:08Speaker 7: Yes, my story.
- 17:11Speaker 1: Will probably be in the five thirty shower, you know,
- 17:14Speaker 1: right in that that little area, five thirty eight to
- 17:16Speaker 1: five forty five. It's not a long story. It is
- 17:20Speaker 1: a sad story, and it is a frustrating story. And
- 17:25Speaker 1: I wish i'd had a private jet story.
- 17:29Speaker 6: From Atlanta to Brian College. Station was ninety eight hundred dollars.
- 17:33Speaker 6: I checked two weeks ago, ninety eight hundred, it was.
- 17:36Speaker 6: It was almost worth it.
- 17:39Speaker 7: A private Ye're you're talking about private? Yeah, a charter charter.
- 17:43Speaker 7: You need to split that. You need to get a
- 17:46Speaker 7: couple of friends to split that with you. You'll be good.
- 17:49Speaker 6: There were plenty of people that would have helped go in.
- 17:51Speaker 7: So what do you What do you think your astros
- 17:53Speaker 7: are doing this year?
- 17:57Speaker 6: I think if Payne doesn't get his better Seattle, I
- 18:03Speaker 6: think if Painia doesn't get his ribs broken and you
- 18:06Speaker 6: can keep Jordan Alvarez from having a broken hand. That
- 18:11Speaker 6: the Astros will win ninety ball games and be right
- 18:16Speaker 6: in the mix with Seattle again. Okay, So I mean
- 18:23Speaker 6: I don't I think I think Texas is going to
- 18:25Speaker 6: win more than they did last year. Sure, I don't
- 18:30Speaker 6: think I think the A's are going to have a fallback.
- 18:34Speaker 6: I think they showed This is another one of those
- 18:36Speaker 6: times where the As show something and then a.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Year they have some pretty good young talent. They do
- 18:43Speaker 1: you know that they that right now they don't have
- 18:46Speaker 1: to pay and I.
- 18:47Speaker 6: Don't think they have to pay next year. When are
- 18:49Speaker 6: they going to be in Vegas?
- 18:50Speaker 7: Two years?
- 18:51Speaker 6: Two more?
- 18:51Speaker 7: Probably two years.
- 18:53Speaker 1: Yeah, I think they've broken ground on that finally. Yeah,
- 18:56Speaker 1: but I don't think it's to be ready for next season.
- 18:59Speaker 7: I could be about that. I don't. I hadn't read
- 19:01Speaker 7: I hadn't read about it yet. Yeah.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Several Astros have made their first career opening day roster.
- 19:09Speaker 6: By the way, one of them is a former Aggie.
- 19:12Speaker 7: Wait a minute, I'll find it, Christian Rowa.
- 19:20Speaker 6: Yes, yeah, made the pitch, made the sound. Yes.
- 19:26Speaker 7: Wow. Okay, that's pretty cool.
- 19:28Speaker 6: That is pretty cool.
- 19:29Speaker 7: I mean, that's a good story.
- 19:31Speaker 6: To see Christian Rower run out in an Astros uniform.
- 19:34Speaker 6: It's going to be pretty pretty exciting tomorrow.
- 19:36Speaker 7: Okay.
- 19:37Speaker 1: So yeah, they were added to the forty med roster.
- 19:44Speaker 1: Right into picture, right, al Blanco is recovering from elbow surgery. Right, this,
- 19:48Speaker 1: this is what I was referring to. Uh, Josh Hater
- 19:53Speaker 1: with tendonitis. Uh, Nate Pearson right elbow surgery, nobody? Okay,
- 20:00Speaker 1: Bennett so SUSA oblique strain mating. He should be back,
- 20:06Speaker 1: but those could be problematic.
- 20:07Speaker 7: Yes, Uh, Hayden was nesky. Wasn't he pretty good?
- 20:11Speaker 6: Yes? Somebody don't want me.
- 20:13Speaker 7: Right elbow surgery. He was on the fifteen day d L.
- 20:16Speaker 7: So I guess that's good that he's not on.
- 20:18Speaker 1: The sixty day, right, Yeah, Brandon Walker left elbow surgery
- 20:24Speaker 1: is on the sixty day d L.
- 20:26Speaker 7: You don't think he'll pitch this year?
- 20:28Speaker 9: No?
- 20:29Speaker 1: Okay, all right, So that was That's kind of what
- 20:33Speaker 1: I was talking about.
- 20:34Speaker 7: Right, there's a few.
- 20:36Speaker 6: Arms that are I want them to take their time
- 20:38Speaker 6: on Hayter.
- 20:39Speaker 1: Well, duh, I mean, he's he's the he's the difference
- 20:44Speaker 1: in in winning ninety games.
- 20:46Speaker 6: And only throw him one inning, okay, don't don't. Don't
- 20:50Speaker 6: even think about throwing him two innings, okay. And if
- 20:53Speaker 6: it's a game that you're tied in the ninth inning, yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 6: don't put him in there. Don't save a game that
- 20:59Speaker 6: he that you still could be in the tenth inning
- 21:03Speaker 6: right after that and be an extras. Just use him
- 21:07Speaker 6: in save situations. And I think our coach has done
- 21:10Speaker 6: a good job, but just use him in safe situations.
- 21:13Speaker 1: Cody Bradford, left hander for the Rangers. Fifteen day IL
- 21:18Speaker 1: retroactive March twenty second left elbow surgery rehab.
- 21:22Speaker 7: They will extend that. I think.
- 21:26Speaker 1: Cody Freeman ten day IL lumbar stress reaction, that's back.
- 21:32Speaker 1: I know enough to know that's not correct. Andrew McCutcheon
- 21:36Speaker 1: didn't make the roster, what as a fourth outfielder, had
- 21:41Speaker 1: a heck of a spring, came in, pick him up.
- 21:44Speaker 7: No, he's he's on the roster right now.
- 21:46Speaker 6: Oh, he's just he made the roster. Said he didn't
- 21:49Speaker 6: make it.
- 21:49Speaker 7: Oh, no, no he did.
- 21:50Speaker 6: Okay.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Brandon Nemo obviously the off season acquisition that they're excited
- 21:55Speaker 1: about that they hope can take pitches, get on base
- 21:59Speaker 1: and do things that they really haven't had.
- 22:02Speaker 7: Uh the last where's some couple of years para Houston?
- 22:05Speaker 6: Where did he end up at?
- 22:06Speaker 7: Who's that?
- 22:08Speaker 6: You're a right fielder, Adul?
- 22:10Speaker 7: Yes, I don't remember. Was it Pittsburgh? Check On? Adults
- 22:17Speaker 7: don't want him.
- 22:17Speaker 6: Playing the game in his You don't you.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Don't want him ever seeing the Astros again. I don't
- 22:21Speaker 1: blame you.
- 22:21Speaker 6: No, he'll see he has to see the Astros. You
- 22:23Speaker 6: play everybody. I just don't want him playing in Houston Phillies.
- 22:28Speaker 1: So the Rangers will see him for three days?
- 22:32Speaker 7: Yeah, starting to borrow?
- 22:34Speaker 6: Yeah really, Okay, let me tell you something about being
- 22:37Speaker 6: on this guy's bad side.
- 22:39Speaker 7: Chip, Yeah, you don't want to be guess what. Yeah,
- 22:41Speaker 7: it's not good. It's it's not good.
- 22:44Speaker 6: You think he do? You think he's more of Rangers
- 22:47Speaker 6: or the Astros today with the Rangers, for shure, I
- 22:50Speaker 6: don't think he's upset with the with the Rangers. He's
- 22:52Speaker 6: getting to go to the Phillies.
- 22:53Speaker 1: Well, yeah, maybe so, but he was he was popular.
- 22:58Speaker 1: He liked it there. Yeah, for good reason.
- 23:02Speaker 7: But we'll see, we'll see. Uh.
- 23:05Speaker 1: He may hit five dingers against the Ragers and not
- 23:09Speaker 1: hit but to the rest of the season Houston, Yeah, yes,
- 23:13Speaker 1: when when it comes there? Yes, uh, I will say this.
- 23:19Speaker 1: I don't again know about catch this bullpit. Who's the catcher?
- 23:25Speaker 7: Uh?
- 23:26Speaker 1: Danny Janssen was an off season acquisition and and uh
- 23:32Speaker 1: he got Shioka who they got before last season? Who
- 23:36Speaker 1: caught and I forget righty lefty matchup? They will platoon them, Okay,
- 23:41Speaker 1: they will.
- 23:41Speaker 6: They got rid of the catcher there? Yes, was he
- 23:46Speaker 6: noting good? Did win a ring two years ago?
- 23:48Speaker 7: He did?
- 23:49Speaker 6: Very possible one guy but Sibian and not? I mean, uh,
- 23:54Speaker 6: and who else is from the World Series team?
- 23:58Speaker 1: Let's see Evan Carter. I don't win the World Series
- 24:01Speaker 1: without him? He was a late you know at there.
- 24:06Speaker 1: I don't think was what Langford part of that?
- 24:11Speaker 7: I think he was. I think he was.
- 24:16Speaker 1: Josh Young Okay with Seger. Let's see we've got Seager
- 24:21Speaker 1: Young Carter uh Avaldi Okay, Jacob Latz who's that? Uh
- 24:36Speaker 1: he's the one that got the last out of the
- 24:37Speaker 1: World Series left hander?
- 24:40Speaker 7: I didn't uh he was?
- 24:42Speaker 10: He He was.
- 24:46Speaker 1: A reliever who they were going to try as either
- 24:49Speaker 1: the fourth or fifth starter. And and they're going to
- 24:52Speaker 1: put him at reliever to start the season. Okay, in
- 24:56Speaker 1: the bullpen, I think that's it. I don't think Chris
- 25:02Speaker 1: Martin was there?
- 25:02Speaker 7: How many?
- 25:03Speaker 10: Who?
- 25:03Speaker 7: Who am I missing? Oh? Josh Smith was there? Yeah, okay,
- 25:07Speaker 7: so what Dave five or six?
- 25:09Speaker 6: Yeah, that's more from the year before.
- 25:12Speaker 1: There may there may be, but that seems like even
- 25:15Speaker 1: more than I thought. We're still left right, yes, so
- 25:18Speaker 1: they still have a decent nucleus. And I'm telling you
- 25:22Speaker 1: I read something today is like everyone is asking about
- 25:25Speaker 1: Evan Carter?
- 25:26Speaker 7: Is he available? Right? I'm talking about in baseball right right?
- 25:30Speaker 1: Because yes, and that was all last season, that was
- 25:35Speaker 1: still going on.
- 25:38Speaker 7: I don't think they.
- 25:39Speaker 1: Want to trade Evan Carter, but you know, he's been
- 25:41Speaker 1: off and on, he's had some injuries. Obviously the mad
- 25:46Speaker 1: when he's healthy, Uh, he is special. I think Wyatt
- 25:52Speaker 1: Langford can be special, actually Scott uh And I think
- 25:56Speaker 1: their starting pitching rotation can be special. Bullpen not not sure.
- 26:03Speaker 1: Hitting obviously, they've they've got to put contact, they got
- 26:08Speaker 1: to put bat on ball.
- 26:09Speaker 9: Well.
- 26:10Speaker 1: The good thing they've made some changes to try to
- 26:13Speaker 1: do that. They worked in the spring. Okay, I know
- 26:16Speaker 1: that means nothing, but in terms of what they're working on,
- 26:20Speaker 1: they like what they've seen so far.
- 26:22Speaker 6: So Jeremy Payton only needed one day to get back
- 26:25Speaker 6: and being the shortstop for the Astros after having a
- 26:28Speaker 6: broken hand. Yeah, broken finger, Yeah.
- 26:31Speaker 7: Okay, we're done now. We will visit next week.
- 26:35Speaker 6: Yes, no, we'll visit tomorrow.

- 31:15Speaker 1: a new allegation of domestic violence has surfaced against Taylor
- 31:21Speaker 1: Frankie Paul. She's been further thrust into the spotlight after,
- 31:27Speaker 1: of course, the video was released showing a violent altercation
- 31:32Speaker 1: between her and her ex partner Dakota. The footage, connected
- 31:37Speaker 1: to an assault charge in which she pleaded guilty, forced
- 31:40Speaker 1: the cancelation of The Bachelorette. Now NBC is reporting the
- 31:45Speaker 1: Mormon mom fluencer. That's what it says, mom fluencer, And
- 31:53Speaker 1: do you want this? Do you want this person influencing
- 31:56Speaker 1: other moms? Is being an I just read it. I
- 32:02Speaker 1: did write it, I just read it. Is being investigated
- 32:06Speaker 1: for another alleged domestic violence incident. The NBC's reporting today
- 32:14Speaker 1: that Utah police were investigating an allegation of domestic violence
- 32:17Speaker 1: brought against Paul by Mortensen in February, stemming from an
- 32:22Speaker 1: encounter in twenty twenty four. If you're counting, that's three allegations.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Jeez, do you think.
- 32:34Speaker 1: Anger management would help? I'm just saying Okay, I don't.
- 32:39Speaker 9: Know, so it didn't. I feel like, ok it happened
- 32:43Speaker 9: in twenty twenty something.
- 32:44Speaker 7: Who knows the first one.
- 32:46Speaker 1: The first one was twenty three, okay, then twenty four,
- 32:50Speaker 1: then twenty five.
- 32:51Speaker 7: I think there's like one a year.
- 32:54Speaker 9: Guys, don't you think it should just stop? See? I mean,
- 32:58Speaker 9: I know you have kids, but maybe don't.
- 33:01Speaker 7: Don't don't slug each other in front of them. Maybe no,
- 33:06Speaker 7: just say it.
- 33:07Speaker 9: I mean, I think they're both probably terrible people who
- 33:11Speaker 9: were never told to know as children.
- 33:13Speaker 7: And by the way, by the way they are.
- 33:15Speaker 1: The opinions you hear on this show do not necessarily
- 33:19Speaker 1: reflect those of the station, the management, or the host.
- 33:25Speaker 7: Okay, I got that.
- 33:26Speaker 6: On the way.
- 33:27Speaker 7: You're good, Yeah you're good.
- 33:30Speaker 1: No, you're good, you're good, you're good.
- 33:33Speaker 7: We did the disclaimer. Just say no, I don't know.
- 33:37Speaker 9: Don't don't hit people. I don't know.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, yeah, some some of it, some of
- 33:45Speaker 1: it takes, some of it just goes right over their heads,
- 33:48Speaker 1: you know what I'm saying. And true, I just maybe
- 33:51Speaker 1: an anger management class might help, and and maybe maybe
- 33:57Speaker 1: put down the alcohol.
- 34:00Speaker 9: Now that's another great suggestionship.
- 34:02Speaker 7: Now here's the deal.
- 34:04Speaker 1: She's Mormon, she ain't supposed to be having alcohol, but
- 34:07Speaker 1: I don't think she's supposed to be hitting her living partner.
- 34:12Speaker 1: And I don't think she's supposed to have a living
- 34:14Speaker 1: living partner. She can have seven husbands. That's okay.
- 34:18Speaker 9: But see, okay, that's your opinion now, so you're jump.
- 34:21Speaker 7: No, no, not an opinion. I believe she's entitled.
- 34:26Speaker 9: Well maybe not legally, but maybe in there.
- 34:30Speaker 13: Anyways, Right, let's do let's do this, let's do let's
- 34:38Speaker 13: do a Sean Diddy Combe story. Usher Usher is explaining
- 34:44Speaker 13: why he still has a great deal of respect for
- 34:49Speaker 13: p Diddy Puffy. In a recent interview with Forbes The
- 34:53Speaker 13: Enterprise Zone, Usher spoke candidly about his decades long relationship
- 35:00Speaker 13: with the music mogul, who is currently serving a fifty
- 35:03Speaker 13: month prison sentence after being convicted on two prostitution related charges.
- 35:11Speaker 7: During the conversation, Forbes senior.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Writer Jabbari Young did a bit of word association, asking
- 35:16Speaker 1: Usher his one word thoughts on influential people when it
- 35:20Speaker 1: came to Ditty, Usher replied legacy Young reference to past
- 35:25Speaker 1: interview Usher did around twenty fifteen when he mentioned that
- 35:28Speaker 1: he quote knew better than to get distracted by certain
- 35:31Speaker 1: things while on tour. After Young said Usher managed to
- 35:36Speaker 1: avoid quote a lot of negativity that we obviously know
- 35:38Speaker 1: shows up in Ditty's story, Usher clarified his stance, saying
- 35:43Speaker 1: his controversial take was that quote, we can't ignore the
- 35:48Speaker 1: reality of the history. So there you and I'm assuming
- 35:53Speaker 1: again he's talking about his musical history, not his not
- 35:59Speaker 1: his party days.
- 36:02Speaker 9: Well, I'm gonna be real speak.
- 36:04Speaker 7: I mean, I mean, I can't help but.
- 36:06Speaker 9: Even music days are checkered.
- 36:07Speaker 7: I don't know, yeah, but I can't.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I can't help but think that everybody that knew this
- 36:12Speaker 1: guy and hung out with this guy knew what he
- 36:15Speaker 1: was doing.
- 36:16Speaker 9: Right, of course he's probably he's probably a little scared. Yeah,
- 36:19Speaker 9: you know, there's blackmail. Can you do?
- 36:22Speaker 10: There?
- 36:22Speaker 9: You go, maybe just say no comment.
- 36:24Speaker 7: No comment. That's what I'm doing.
- 36:28Speaker 9: Well, let's just get the sad news out of the
- 36:31Speaker 9: way too, Okay. So Savannah gun three is speaking out
- 36:33Speaker 9: about her mother, Nancy gun three is kidnapping in the
- 36:36Speaker 9: first public interview, of course, on the Today Show. They
- 36:41Speaker 9: did play a preview of the emotional interview between Savannah
- 36:43Speaker 9: and Hode during Wednesday Morning. Since this morning's pod Bro broadcast,
- 36:49Speaker 9: and it shows a heart broke in Savannah describing the
- 36:52Speaker 9: intense pain her family feels. She's in tears and pleaded.
- 36:55Speaker 9: Someone needs to do the right thing. We are in agony.
- 36:58Speaker 9: It is unbearable to think that of what she went through,
- 37:03Speaker 9: Savanna continues. I wake up every night, in the middle
- 37:05Speaker 9: of the night, every night, and in the darkness, I
- 37:08Speaker 9: imagine the terror are her terror, and it's unthinkable. But
- 37:12Speaker 9: those thoughts demand to be or demand to be thought,
- 37:16Speaker 9: and I will not hide my face. But she needs
- 37:19Speaker 9: to come home.
- 37:21Speaker 7: First. That's so crazy. That's a long time. I just
- 37:27Speaker 7: can't help. But thinks she's not with us any.
- 37:30Speaker 9: Well, And I think you probably have come to that realization,
- 37:34Speaker 9: which is probably why she's saying, like the terror she
- 37:36Speaker 9: went through kind of past tense or it is pasted
- 37:40Speaker 9: in this kind of So I mean, I don't ever
- 37:43Speaker 9: want to I don't know. I can't pretend like I
- 37:45Speaker 9: know what she's going through. I never want to go
- 37:47Speaker 9: through anything like that. I don't think anyone does. But
- 37:51Speaker 9: that's really sad, And you know, I just hope, I
- 37:53Speaker 9: hope they do get her back. You know, obviously they
- 37:56Speaker 9: kind of know what the conditions, unfortunately will be.
- 37:59Speaker 7: But so here's here's some more sad news.
- 38:04Speaker 1: Oh disappointing box office results in the John Wick universe.
- 38:10Speaker 1: The spinoff is officially set to start production next month.
- 38:17Speaker 1: H Not only will the Hong Kong film legend return
- 38:23Speaker 1: as the blind assassin introduced in John Wick Chapter four,
- 38:29Speaker 1: Dottie Yin has also been tapped to direct, and he's
- 38:35Speaker 1: aiming to deliver quote, the most definitive martial arts fuse
- 38:40Speaker 1: infused action film ever made.
- 38:45Speaker 7: John Wick four.
- 38:48Speaker 1: Caine was introduced as an old friend of John's who
- 38:51Speaker 1: is forced out of retirement in order to kill Wick
- 38:55Speaker 1: or Caine's daughter will be murdered in the end.
- 38:58Speaker 7: I hope I'm not giving stuff away.
- 39:00Speaker 1: Caine teams up with Wick to defeat rival assassins and
- 39:03Speaker 1: returns to Paris to reunite with his daughter, having been
- 39:07Speaker 1: freed of the threat against him, but he soon approached
- 39:10Speaker 1: by a knife wilding a Kira, who is looking to
- 39:15Speaker 1: avenge the death of her own father at the hands
- 39:18Speaker 1: of Kate.
- 39:20Speaker 7: Reeves.
- 39:21Speaker 1: Telling Entertainment Weekly of bringing you into the Wick world.
- 39:27Speaker 1: He's obviously a legend in action movies. He's such a
- 39:30Speaker 1: fantastic actor and artist Wick. Director Chad Stahelski needed to
- 39:39Speaker 1: get involved with the Anna Diarmis led film and lead
- 39:44Speaker 1: major reshoots, including expanding.
- 39:46Speaker 7: The role of Wick.
- 39:48Speaker 1: But the battley of film ended up making three hundred
- 39:52Speaker 1: million dollars less than John Wick four So that.
- 39:59Speaker 9: Was the sad news.
- 40:00Speaker 7: Yes, yeah, it didn't. It didn't do well.
- 40:06Speaker 9: Yeah, didn't do it.
- 40:10Speaker 1: Before Steve Carell auditioned for the life changing role of
- 40:13Speaker 1: Michael Scott in the Office, Paul Rudd said, don't do it, Correll.
- 40:19Speaker 1: Appearing on the latest episode of Amy Poehler's Good Hang podcast,
- 40:24Speaker 1: they discussed how negatively everyone reacted to the initial news
- 40:28Speaker 1: of NBC doing the remake of Ricky Gervas's British comedy
- 40:34Speaker 1: This is a terrible idea, Polar recalled, thinking no one
- 40:38Speaker 1: could be as good as Ricky Gervas.
- 40:40Speaker 7: No one can do that show.
- 40:43Speaker 1: Rudd felt the same way as Carrel was mulling over
- 40:46Speaker 1: the chance to go over the role of dunder Mifflin
- 40:49Speaker 1: regional manager Michael Scott.
- 40:51Speaker 7: I just I laughed, saying.
- 40:52Speaker 1: That Rudd, they were shooting Anchorman together, gave him the
- 40:57Speaker 1: worst advice of all time. He says, Rudd pulled me aside,
- 41:01Speaker 1: was like, don't do it, man, don't audition.
- 41:05Speaker 7: It was like, there's no way.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Correl added he essentially was told not to touch the
- 41:12Speaker 1: show with a ten foot pole. Carrel said our pilot
- 41:16Speaker 1: was the lowest testing pilot in the history of NBC.
- 41:21Speaker 1: People really hated it. They actively hated it, and I
- 41:25Speaker 1: don't know how it got legs after that, but man,
- 41:29Speaker 1: oh man, it was a great show. Correll calls himself
- 41:34Speaker 1: a poor man's Ricky Gervais, admitting he has watched all
- 41:39Speaker 1: of the Jervas shows. I watched a minute of one
- 41:44Speaker 1: and he was so good, so specific, so funny. I thought,
- 41:47Speaker 1: if I watched one second more, I'm just going to
- 41:49Speaker 1: go on on audition with that. I won't be able
- 41:52Speaker 1: to even imagine it a different way. Well, guess what,
- 41:56Speaker 1: he knocked it out of the park, right, it was.
- 42:00Speaker 9: So don't listen to your friend's advice.
- 42:02Speaker 1: Yeah, don't take any of your friend's advice ever.
- 42:05Speaker 9: Don't take any career advice from your friends. Yeah, especially
- 42:09Speaker 9: if they're in the same field. To be fair, though,
- 42:13Speaker 9: I don't know who else could have.
- 42:15Speaker 7: Right, you're right, So you're right.
- 42:18Speaker 9: But he did good for you.
- 42:19Speaker 7: Good for you, Steve Carrell. It you funny guy.
- 42:24Speaker 9: I get it.
- 42:26Speaker 7: I mean Michael Michael.
- 42:27Speaker 1: Michael Scott turned into one of the greatest TV characters
- 42:31Speaker 1: ever in my.
- 42:31Speaker 7: Opinion, that's true.
- 42:33Speaker 9: People love it.
- 42:34Speaker 7: I love it, love it.
- 42:37Speaker 9: We spoke about briefly yesterday that Reese Witherspoon was turning fifty.
- 42:41Speaker 7: Yes and she.
- 42:43Speaker 9: Did celebrate her fiftieth birthday with the Star studied party
- 42:46Speaker 9: in Nashville. Where is say? They called her the bell
- 42:50Speaker 9: of the ball?
- 42:51Speaker 7: Where was Where was I?
- 42:55Speaker 9: You were stuck here in college station? Your show that sucks?
- 43:02Speaker 9: Oh wait, just kidding. It was on Saturday. I don't know.
- 43:06Speaker 9: Oh well maybe next maybe next fiftieth, or maybe out
- 43:09Speaker 9: of one hundred.
- 43:10Speaker 7: Okay.
- 43:11Speaker 9: For the evening, the actress sported a white beaded French
- 43:13Speaker 9: dress that shimmered with every step in the photos, and
- 43:18Speaker 9: an intimate beash that did take place on the night
- 43:21Speaker 9: of Saturday. Sorry this past Saturday. The Nashville bar owned
- 43:24Speaker 9: by country singer Laney Wilson Wow, which was closed for
- 43:28Speaker 9: the private event. A list guests were including note Nicole Kidman,
- 43:33Speaker 9: Mark Marishka, I forgot I don't ever know how to
- 43:35Speaker 9: say her name, but she's the girl from SPU.
- 43:40Speaker 7: Marisco.
- 43:40Speaker 9: Harbe, Really that that easy? And I was just overthinking.
- 43:44Speaker 9: Of course I was isla. I'm I know who these
- 43:52Speaker 9: people are too, that's the problem.
- 43:54Speaker 7: I don't know you're welcome. I know Marisco.
- 43:59Speaker 9: Yeah. They did describe it as an iconic party for
- 44:03Speaker 9: an iconic woman. Reese was the bell of the ball.
- 44:07Speaker 9: The room had so much love for her all night,
- 44:09Speaker 9: and it's probably because it was an intimate party.
- 44:11Speaker 7: Yeah, and she was.
- 44:12Speaker 9: So happy to be surrounded by family and friends. She
- 44:16Speaker 9: also marked to Milestone with her family members, including her
- 44:19Speaker 9: three children.
- 44:20Speaker 7: Wait a minute, you want to try yes, I do, Okay, okay,
- 44:26Speaker 7: Moses Apple no, rumor.
- 44:36Speaker 9: No, I will say most for them. No, that's not
- 44:39Speaker 9: it either. You're not the most out of crazy names.
- 44:44Speaker 9: So for instance, her daughter Ava who's twenty six, and
- 44:47Speaker 9: son Deacon, who is twenty two, she does share with
- 44:50Speaker 9: Ryan Philippe. She also has a Sunday Tennessee. Jones didn't
- 44:54Speaker 9: know about that that one, but she does who she
- 44:57Speaker 9: does share with her other ex husband out Jim.
- 45:01Speaker 7: Maybe she needs uh.
- 45:04Speaker 9: Uh but what her kids actually like her? So that's
- 45:07Speaker 9: good because Deacon shared a slide show on his Instagram
- 45:12Speaker 9: that included clips from behind the DJ booth where he
- 45:15Speaker 9: helped keep the energy up for guests and to fill
- 45:18Speaker 9: the dance.
- 45:18Speaker 7: For Wow, this sounds like a good party.
- 45:22Speaker 9: I know you really missed out. What can you do?
- 45:26Speaker 7: I'm tired of missing out on these things. I need
- 45:28Speaker 7: a better agent.
- 45:30Speaker 9: Well there's another thing you did miss out on. Jennifer Gardner.
- 45:36Speaker 7: You're talking, You're talking about Jennifer Garner.
- 45:38Speaker 9: Right, yeah, that's what I said, Jennifer Gardner. Okay, what
- 45:42Speaker 9: did I say?
- 45:44Speaker 1: Yeah, you put a d in there. Well, no Ken, James, No,
- 45:49Speaker 1: Jim's no Ken to James Gardner. This is Jennifer Gardner, right, yes, okay, okay.
- 45:55Speaker 9: Anyways, she has signed on.
- 45:58Speaker 1: By the way, I love her. I'm a big Jennifer
- 46:01Speaker 1: Gardner fan. She's been here, you know, she's been to
- 46:07Speaker 1: a football game.
- 46:08Speaker 9: It seems nice. I don't know her.
- 46:09Speaker 1: Yeah, her dad was in the military. They came to
- 46:13Speaker 1: a game a few years ago. It was all over
- 46:15Speaker 1: the social media, and I'm missed her.
- 46:18Speaker 9: Come on back, Jennifer.
- 46:19Speaker 1: Yeah, we'll treat you better. I'll take you to dinner.
- 46:22Speaker 1: We'll go to Jack on the Box, drive through about midnight.
- 46:27Speaker 9: That's what it's real good.
- 46:28Speaker 7: Yeah, Hey, how could she? How could she not accept that?
- 46:33Speaker 7: How could she not accept that invitation?
- 46:38Speaker 9: Who would it?
- 46:39Speaker 7: I mean, if you if you wouldn't get a salad,
- 46:41Speaker 7: get a salad?
- 46:41Speaker 9: I mean, you know, but maybe if you have higher standards.
- 46:45Speaker 9: But I mean why not?
- 46:47Speaker 1: I mean, how could you have How could you have
- 46:50Speaker 1: higher standards that Jack in the box drive through at midnight?
- 46:54Speaker 7: Seriously, I don't know.
- 46:56Speaker 9: I just don't want her to get the wrong idea.
- 46:58Speaker 9: It's the middle of the night, you know.
- 46:59Speaker 1: Okay, why are we are? Why are we talking about her?
- 47:02Speaker 1: I interrupted? I know, I know, I interrupted. I apologize.
- 47:06Speaker 7: Okay.
- 47:07Speaker 9: Anyway, she is signed on to executive produce a reboot
- 47:10Speaker 9: of thirteen Going on thirty, which is a wrong calm.
- 47:14Speaker 9: It was very iconic when it came out for Netflix. Okay,
- 47:18Speaker 9: so Emily Vader, whose I guess is people we meet
- 47:22Speaker 9: on vacation and logan lure. These people not have easier
- 47:26Speaker 9: names for me. We'll take on the leading romantic roles
- 47:29Speaker 9: from Gardner in Mark find of this guy and I
- 47:33Speaker 9: can't say his name for Phelia, it doesn't matter with
- 47:38Speaker 9: the script Mark Ruffalo that one.
- 47:42Speaker 7: That one that's the one rhymes with buffalo.
- 47:45Speaker 9: That's a good that makes sense. It's literally that with
- 47:48Speaker 9: an Okay, I gotta I gotta stop overthinking these words
- 47:51Speaker 9: and names. Anyways. The film will be directed by Brett Haley,
- 47:55Speaker 9: reuniting the director who recently helmed the Streamers adaptation and
- 48:00Speaker 9: The People We Meet on Vacation, starring more of the
- 48:03Speaker 9: people that I already named. Anyways, it's gonna be funny, emotional,
- 48:08Speaker 9: deeply human with unforgettable performance past. This is what they're
- 48:13Speaker 9: talking about. Thirteen going on thirty.
- 48:15Speaker 7: So she's she's like, I'm a longtime fan.
- 48:18Speaker 1: She's like producing mess and getting paid for it.
- 48:21Speaker 9: Basically on her Yeah, she's an executive producer.
- 48:25Speaker 1: I mean she does those credits, she does those credit
- 48:28Speaker 1: card commercials, you know, for Capital One.
- 48:30Speaker 7: She's making a fortune.
- 48:32Speaker 1: And by the way, for people who are listening, I
- 48:36Speaker 1: want to be I want to make a commercial that
- 48:39Speaker 1: is the sweetest money going. You spend half the day
- 48:43Speaker 1: you make a commercial. You keep getting the residuals long
- 48:46Speaker 1: after it's done. These people make bank on these commercials.
- 48:50Speaker 1: I want to do one of those. I want to
- 48:51Speaker 1: do one with with Charles Barkley and Samuel L. Jackson
- 48:56Speaker 1: and Spike Lee and Jennifer Garner. That's that's I want
- 49:00Speaker 1: to do one of those Capital one basketball in C
- 49:03Speaker 1: double A commercials.
- 49:04Speaker 9: Okay, I'm pretty sure Charles Barkley. I could be wrong,
- 49:08Speaker 9: but I think he's one doing one of those diet.
- 49:10Speaker 7: Oh yeah, he is. He's lost, he's lost forty five pounds.
- 49:14Speaker 7: He looks awesome.
- 49:17Speaker 9: Guys, Look, if you don't have much of a career
- 49:18Speaker 9: to sign on to be a commercial.
- 49:21Speaker 1: That is, man, that is the sweet sweet spot right there.
- 49:26Speaker 1: And if you're hey, if you're if you're Shaquille O'Neil
- 49:30Speaker 1: or Peyton Manning or Charles Barkley, they're just gonna throw
- 49:35Speaker 1: barrels of money at you for standing in front of
- 49:37Speaker 1: the camera.
- 49:38Speaker 7: Barrels.
- 49:41Speaker 9: How do they They probably lose track.
- 49:43Speaker 7: They're making bank, man, I mean they are making bank.
- 49:47Speaker 9: Ten million could probably go from their account and they
- 49:49Speaker 9: would just not.
- 49:50Speaker 1: They would never miss it, never miss it. Oh, I
- 49:54Speaker 1: got to get this in before we do birthdays.
