- 0:00Speaker 1: You just heard the news.
- 0:02Speaker 2: Now you'll find out what it all means.
- 0:05Speaker 3: Heay Smarts amone on sevent ten war.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Hey, all right, a little rain out there, just a
- 0:14Speaker 2: little rain. It's gonna end later today, and then it'll
- 0:17Speaker 2: be some rain this week. But then starting tomorrow forties, fifties, sixties,
- 0:20Speaker 2: it goes into the seventies next, it's gonna be great.
- 0:23Speaker 2: That's the end of winter. Hey, we got eighteen days
- 0:26Speaker 2: till spring. You're at the war in Iran. Let's call
- 0:29Speaker 2: it the liberation of Iran, not the war. The liberation
- 0:32Speaker 2: of Iran is in day four. Now you're gonna let
- 0:37Speaker 2: me just clear up some of the myths you're hearing.
- 0:39Speaker 2: If you're watching all the media today, they're gonna tell
- 0:43Speaker 2: you I've been seeing this all morning. The Magabas is
- 0:46Speaker 2: torn apart over this, the megabasis torn or the megabasis
- 0:51Speaker 2: turned on. What megabase are they talking about? Well, when
- 0:55Speaker 2: they get specific, they go to Tucker Carlson, can this owens?
- 1:01Speaker 2: Megan Kelly, this is not the mega base, This isn't
- 1:04Speaker 2: anything anymore. In fact, these are people that have been
- 1:07Speaker 2: thrown out by the mainstream media by actually being employed anywhere.
- 1:11Speaker 2: These are all people doing shows from home, and they're
- 1:15Speaker 2: not the base of anything. We've always had this in
- 1:18Speaker 2: both sides. Both parties have had this. You got your mainstream.
- 1:22Speaker 2: You know, let's take the conservative set of the Republican side.
- 1:25Speaker 2: You got the mainstream, you got Fox News, you got
- 1:28Speaker 2: News Max, you got Sean Hannity and Jesse Waters. You've
- 1:32Speaker 2: got Greg Kelly. You got all these mainstream shows. And
- 1:37Speaker 2: then you have you know, the New York Post. You've
- 1:40Speaker 2: got a lot of stuff. But always, always, always on
- 1:43Speaker 2: the fringe. There was something for the fringe. There was
- 1:46Speaker 2: Alex Jones for years. I think he's still out there.
- 1:49Speaker 2: But when you get fired from the real media and
- 1:51Speaker 2: you got to do the show from home, as Stan
- 1:53Speaker 2: Rather would say, doing it from home in your pajamas,
- 1:57Speaker 2: you're the new Alex Jones. So Megan Kelly, Tucker Carlson,
- 2:02Speaker 2: who's the other one? Candae Owen's those types, they're the
- 2:04Speaker 2: new Alex Jones. And they sound horrible. They say these
- 2:08Speaker 2: anti Semitic, outrageous things and attack Trunk. Well, the problem is,
- 2:14Speaker 2: when you're the Alex Jones, you're not on anywhere. You're
- 2:16Speaker 2: not on a network, you're not in a major newspaper.
- 2:20Speaker 2: You're not on a major radio network, so you have
- 2:23Speaker 2: to get attention, and the only way you can get
- 2:25Speaker 2: attention is to say crazy, outrageous things so that you
- 2:29Speaker 2: get a lot of coverage. That's the only way you
- 2:30Speaker 2: can get an audience. So that's why, because you might
- 2:33Speaker 2: say Tucker Carlson was pretty normal for what the hell
- 2:35Speaker 2: happened to him, He's trying to get attention. It's the
- 2:37Speaker 2: Megan Kelly playbook. Just say outrageous, crazy things, get a
- 2:42Speaker 2: ton of attention. But the problem is with the crazy
- 2:45Speaker 2: outrageous attention, all that comes over to listen to you
- 2:49Speaker 2: are the crazy outrageous people. So these people are the
- 2:52Speaker 2: new Alex Jones. They're not the Maga Bass. They have
- 2:55Speaker 2: nothing to do with Maga or the bass. And there
- 2:58Speaker 2: was always these sort of it's the same thing in
- 2:59Speaker 2: the demo credit side. You got real mainstream Rachel Maddow
- 3:04Speaker 2: that sort of stuff, mainstream Democratic anchors, and then you
- 3:09Speaker 2: got all kinds of crazies way out there on the fringe.
- 3:12Speaker 2: So don't don't worry about the false narratives to keep
- 3:16Speaker 2: pushing on you. The other one is they keep President Trump.
- 3:23Speaker 2: It doesn't have a plan there's no plan. He went
- 3:26Speaker 2: to war without a plan. This extremely detailed planning. They've
- 3:29Speaker 2: got this all figured out. Well, why don't they tell them?
- 3:32Speaker 2: You're not a post to tell anybody the plan. I mean,
- 3:35Speaker 2: it'd be nice to tell us, but then Iran would
- 3:37Speaker 2: find out. So you don't tell anybody the plan. There's
- 3:41Speaker 2: all skys. They've got this all figured out. They've war game, this,
- 3:43Speaker 2: chess game, this right out to the end. So don't
- 3:46Speaker 2: worry about it. The president. Then the other thing is
- 3:48Speaker 2: you get the crazy Chuck Schumers or the Hakim Jeffreys.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Why hasn't he spoken to the nation. He needs to
- 3:55Speaker 2: tell the nation what well, First of all, Saturday night,
- 3:58Speaker 2: he addressed the whole nation as soon as the war started,
- 4:02Speaker 2: the liberation of Iran started. He spoke to reporters endlessly
- 4:07Speaker 2: all morning. In fact, reporters were stunned. Anytime they called
- 4:09Speaker 2: his selfhon he answered and talked to them. Then he
- 4:12Speaker 2: addressed the nation on Saturday. Yesterday he addressed the nation again.
- 4:16Speaker 2: But you'll still see mainstream media why doesn't he address
- 4:18Speaker 2: the nation? Explain this? But he spoke yesterday, took a
- 4:21Speaker 2: lot of questions and here we have.
- 4:23Speaker 4: Right from the beginning, we projected four to five weeks,
- 4:28Speaker 4: but we have capability to go far longer than that.
- 4:32Speaker 2: We'll do it. Yeah, I think originally said one to
- 4:35Speaker 2: two weeks. But why did he stretch it to four.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I think because it's going so well. It's not because
- 4:39Speaker 2: it's going badly. It's because it's going better than they thought.
- 4:43Speaker 2: They've hit thirteen hundred targets and Aran thirteen hundred. Iran
- 4:47Speaker 2: has been firing back, of course, hitting Israel, hitting Dubai,
- 4:52Speaker 2: hitting other Arab nations, which was probably a big strategic mistake.
- 4:56Speaker 2: It made all those Arab nations jump onto our site
- 4:58Speaker 2: even faster. And the last day or two trying to
- 5:02Speaker 2: hit embassies, he's done some physical damage to some embassy buildings.
- 5:06Speaker 2: But they noticed that Iran is running out of missiles
- 5:09Speaker 2: that they were firing like thirty an hour before and
- 5:12Speaker 2: now it's like three every couple of hours that they're
- 5:15Speaker 2: losing their supply. We've got an endless supply, So I
- 5:18Speaker 2: think that's why he's talking about four weeks. This is
- 5:20Speaker 2: going better than they thought, easier than they thought.
- 5:23Speaker 4: We have the strongest and most powerful by far military
- 5:27Speaker 4: in the world, and we will easily prevail. Yeah, he
- 5:32Speaker 4: thought we had a deal, but then they backed out
- 5:35Speaker 4: and they came back, and we thought we had a
- 5:36Speaker 4: deal and they backed out. I said, you can't deal
- 5:38Speaker 4: with these people.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Got to do it the right way. Well that's true.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Now you have the false narrative. You're going to keep hearing.
- 5:46Speaker 2: This is shocked to the Maga, to the Trump voters.
- 5:49Speaker 2: This is not what they expected. He promised. He never
- 5:52Speaker 2: he said no more Middle Eastern Wars, no more. That
- 5:55Speaker 2: was a central theme. That keeps saying it was a
- 5:57Speaker 2: central theme. I don't remember that ever coming up in
- 5:59Speaker 2: the wasn't the theme of the campaign. The border was
- 6:02Speaker 2: the central theme. Inflation, economy, taxes, those are the central themes.
- 6:07Speaker 2: And if you check their record for forty forty five years,
- 6:15Speaker 2: forty six years, President Trump has been saying he wants
- 6:18Speaker 2: to go after Iran and get rid of the Iya Tola.
- 6:20Speaker 2: I think the oldest interview, it was posted all over yesterday,
- 6:25Speaker 2: was from like forty six years ago. He was on
- 6:27Speaker 2: with remember this name. He was on with Rona Barrett,
- 6:30Speaker 2: and one of the things he brought up was getting
- 6:32Speaker 2: rid of the Ayah Tola, liberating Iran. So he's been
- 6:36Speaker 2: talking about this forever. This is not something new. Our
- 6:38Speaker 2: objectives are clear.
- 6:39Speaker 4: First, were destroying orens missile capabilities, and you see that
- 6:45Speaker 4: happening on an hourly basis, and their capacity to produce
- 6:49Speaker 4: brand new ones and pretty good ones they make. Second,
- 6:53Speaker 4: we're annihilating their navy. We've knocked out already ten ships.
- 6:58Speaker 4: They're at the bottom of the seat. The third were
- 7:01Speaker 4: ensuring that the world's number one sponsor of TERA can
- 7:06Speaker 4: never obtain a nuclear weapon.
- 7:08Speaker 2: That was yesterday, but I don't know noon, but overnight
- 7:13Speaker 2: in the US military now believes they have destroyed the
- 7:15Speaker 2: entire Iranian navy. It's a handful of boats, but in
- 7:19Speaker 2: the entire Iranian navy in just the first few days,
- 7:24Speaker 2: it's now eleven ships that are at the bottom of
- 7:26Speaker 2: the Gulf of Oman. Also, Israel killed the commander of
- 7:32Speaker 2: the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. He was one of the big,
- 7:35Speaker 2: big leaders that caused the October seventh Holocaust, so they
- 7:39Speaker 2: believe they got him. His name was Abu Hamza Rami.
- 7:44Speaker 2: He was also responsible for recruitment, training, procuring weapons. So
- 7:49Speaker 2: you got to remember that horrible, horrible, horrible October seventh
- 7:53Speaker 2: that was Iran behind that that was some moss financed
- 7:56Speaker 2: and given the go ahead by Iran. And yeah, the
- 7:59Speaker 2: other thing for Democrats that you got. Democrats now have
- 8:01Speaker 2: to realize they've just lost a million voters Iranian Americans.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Democrats have lost them completely. They are so thrilled. They're
- 8:10Speaker 2: literally dancing in the streets and some of them doing
- 8:13Speaker 2: this video of this all over the place, some of
- 8:14Speaker 2: them doing the Trump dance. These Iranian American voters have
- 8:18Speaker 2: now left the Democratic Party. And now why the Mamdamis
- 8:25Speaker 2: of the world, why the vicious, vicious, vicious attacks on
- 8:29Speaker 2: Trump for getting rid of the Ayatola, for going into
- 8:34Speaker 2: a run. Why is it so upsetting to them? You
- 8:37Speaker 2: know why? Because it's the anti Semitism. This was Israel's
- 8:40Speaker 2: biggest enemy, Israel's biggest threat, and it's being eliminated. That's
- 8:45Speaker 2: that's one of the things that sets them off. You know,
- 8:48Speaker 2: if you get rid of Iran, you get rid of hoodies, hesbala,
- 8:52Speaker 2: all of that stuff, and get everybody back in line,
- 8:56Speaker 2: there really isn't much threat to Israel anymore. And that's
- 8:59Speaker 2: what's really really upsetting the Mandamis of the world and
- 9:03Speaker 2: the crazy Democrats. Then you got the Hakim Jeffreyes it
- 9:07Speaker 2: must come to Congress.
- 9:08Speaker 5: There's nowhere in the United States Constitution where it says
- 9:12Speaker 5: that we are to be the policemen and women of
- 9:15Speaker 5: the world. I mean, that's the reality. Yes, we are
- 9:18Speaker 5: the leaders of the free world at this particular point
- 9:20Speaker 5: in time. But there's a role for the United States
- 9:23Speaker 5: to play in terms of diplomacy, building coalitions, and none
- 9:27Speaker 5: of that was done in this particular instance. And the
- 9:29Speaker 5: Marian people again are not interested in their taxpayer dollars
- 9:33Speaker 5: being spent for another failed regime change war.
- 9:38Speaker 2: Well, most Americans are going to be behind this. Now,
- 9:41Speaker 2: You've got to remember when the Democrats go after Trump,
- 9:44Speaker 2: in almost every case, they're attacking Trump for doing something
- 9:50Speaker 2: that they had been promising to do for years now,
- 9:53Speaker 2: for years and years. You can see all this video
- 9:55Speaker 2: online every Democrat, Hillary Clinton, Obama, we're tall talking about
- 9:59Speaker 2: getting rid of the eye Tola, getting rid of this regime.
- 10:03Speaker 2: This is the same thing with the border. You can
- 10:04Speaker 2: find all those videos of Schumer, Hillary Obama by all
- 10:09Speaker 2: talking about closing the border, stopping the illegals from coming,
- 10:12Speaker 2: whatever they've been talking about for years. They get mad
- 10:16Speaker 2: if Trump actually does it because The thing with Democrats,
- 10:18Speaker 2: they just campaign on it. They promise it. They ca'mtpaign
- 10:21Speaker 2: on it. We'll close the border, we'll get rid of
- 10:24Speaker 2: the Ayatola, we'll do the video exists, you can see
- 10:27Speaker 2: them campaigning on it. So whatever they promised for years,
- 10:30Speaker 2: if Trump actually does it, then they get furious. And
- 10:35Speaker 2: the one reason is if Trump actually does it, problem gone.
- 10:40Speaker 2: They can't campaign on it anymore. It's taken away. That's
- 10:43Speaker 2: always a big part of their campaigns. Trump has eliminated it.
- 10:47Speaker 2: Here's General Jack Keane, best military guy out there.
- 10:50Speaker 6: Well, time isn't the factor. This is a condition based operation.
- 10:53Speaker 6: So we have very defined objectors in terms of what
- 10:56Speaker 6: we're trying to achieve, and when those objectors are that's
- 11:00Speaker 6: when it ends. So it's it's the conditions. If the
- 11:03Speaker 6: Iranians have a boat here and they can disrupt what
- 11:07Speaker 6: we're trying to achieve and maybe delay it and we
- 11:09Speaker 6: have to apply more resources. But time isn't the issue here.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Yeah, so let them let them, let them finish you. Jim, Hey,
- 11:15Speaker 2: we'll get back to Iran. We'll get back. Let's get
- 11:17Speaker 2: to something more important. Epstein Hearings. They've released the video
- 11:21Speaker 2: of Hillary testifying and Bill Clinton testifying. Nothing content wise
- 11:26Speaker 2: really came out of there. Hillary just said she didn't
- 11:28Speaker 2: know the guy, never met the guy. But and Bill
- 11:32Speaker 2: Clinton said, I never had sex with any of those.
- 11:37Speaker 2: Now here's the greatest moment, I think Hillary, and she's
- 11:40Speaker 2: right to get mad. You're not supposed to do this that,
- 11:43Speaker 2: Lauren Bobert, the congresswoman. You're not supposed to sneak a
- 11:46Speaker 2: picture of her testifying and then tweet it out to somebody.
- 11:50Speaker 2: So they found out she was taking a picture and
- 11:52Speaker 2: tweeting it. So Hillary really got mad in the middle
- 11:54Speaker 2: of the hearing.
- 11:55Speaker 1: I've done.
- 11:56Speaker 7: If you guys are doing that, I am done. You
- 11:58Speaker 7: can pull me a contempt from now to the how
- 12:00Speaker 7: come home?
- 12:00Speaker 1: This is just typical behavior.
- 12:04Speaker 7: Oh for heaven, I'm say to understand how that's permissible.
- 12:08Speaker 1: Hearing with it doesn't matter.
- 12:10Speaker 3: We all are abiding by the same rules.
- 12:14Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I would like to take a break at
- 12:16Speaker 1: this man.
- 12:16Speaker 8: I'd like to have.
- 12:17Speaker 2: Got for now. Yeah. Now, you know the funny thing
- 12:20Speaker 2: about Hillary if you've ever been around her in private,
- 12:22Speaker 2: In private, I can't say the words. It's every curse word,
- 12:25Speaker 2: you know, It's the F word, the S word, cursing
- 12:27Speaker 2: with the most invulgar language whenever it's in public. It's
- 12:30Speaker 2: an amazing talent. She has a whole different vocabulary when
- 12:33Speaker 2: she gets mad, like you heard her there till the
- 12:35Speaker 2: Cows come home. Oh, for heaven's sakes, this is This
- 12:38Speaker 2: is her public cursing. The private cursing is much much different.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Now.
- 12:43Speaker 2: They asked Bill Clinton about all there's a pictures of
- 12:45Speaker 2: Bill Clinton in the in a hot tub with a woman. Uh,
- 12:50Speaker 2: you know, if you're in the hot tub with a
- 12:52Speaker 2: woman and it's not like you're at the you know,
- 12:54Speaker 2: the Marriotte outside with fifty people in the hot tub,
- 12:57Speaker 2: it's up like a private place. And I would think
- 13:00Speaker 2: you'd know the woman if she's in the hot tub
- 13:02Speaker 2: with you. But he's busy denying everything.
- 13:04Speaker 9: Did you ever have any sexual contact with young women
- 13:08Speaker 9: or girls in the presence of Epstcen or Maxwell?
- 13:12Speaker 10: No?
- 13:15Speaker 9: Did you ever have sexual contact with any young woman
- 13:19Speaker 9: or girl introduced to you by Epstein or Maxwell? No,
- 13:27Speaker 9: mister President, with the benefit of hindsight, were there things
- 13:32Speaker 9: you witness that could have suggested that Epstein was trafficking
- 13:37Speaker 9: and sexually abusing young women and girls.
- 13:46Speaker 2: I did not believe.
- 13:47Speaker 8: So.
- 13:49Speaker 2: Remember he's actually a lawyer, he's a very lawyer. I
- 13:51Speaker 2: do not believe.
- 13:52Speaker 10: So.
- 13:54Speaker 2: No, I would me have sex with him? No, no, no,
- 13:58Speaker 2: Well I believe him if why would he lie?
- 14:02Speaker 4: Is more, there's nothing that I saw when I was
- 14:05Speaker 4: around him. It made me realized he was trafficking women.
- 14:12Speaker 2: Well, we'll get to this in the next time. We've
- 14:14Speaker 2: got a lot more clips to play. Hillary just kept
- 14:16Speaker 2: saying she didn't know the guy. She never met the guy.
- 14:18Speaker 7: I do not recall ever encountering mister Epstein. I never
- 14:23Speaker 7: flew on his plane or visited his island homes or offices.
- 14:29Speaker 7: I have nothing to add to that. Like every decent person,
- 14:33Speaker 7: I've been horrified by what we have learned about their crimes.
- 14:37Speaker 2: No, please, nothing horrifice. This woman has seen anything and everything.
- 14:42Speaker 2: Nothing horrifies here. So I believe she didn't really me.
- 14:45Speaker 2: Maybe she met him, but I don't believe she knew
- 14:48Speaker 2: Epstein was one of these big, big, big big donors.
- 14:51Speaker 2: Big donors writ in massive checks. The problem is, as
- 14:54Speaker 2: we always explain to you, these big donors when it
- 14:56Speaker 2: comes to politics don't know what the hell they're talking about.
- 14:59Speaker 2: They're brilliant at their own business. They know nothing about politics.
- 15:02Speaker 2: But the problem is if they write you these massive
- 15:04Speaker 2: checks to the candidate or the governor, who when you're alone,
- 15:08Speaker 2: you got to sit there and listen to them. They're
- 15:09Speaker 2: going to give you their opinion on every issue, and
- 15:11Speaker 2: you got to pretend you're listening and you're interested. So
- 15:15Speaker 2: in a lot of these cases, Hillary this is not
- 15:18Speaker 2: something she likes and she would not want to be
- 15:20Speaker 2: around the donor and have to listen to this guy
- 15:22Speaker 2: pontificate on everything. But Bill loves it. Bill's a real
- 15:25Speaker 2: social guy. He can he's good at doing. He'll sit
- 15:28Speaker 2: there and listen. And I guarantee you at some point
- 15:31Speaker 2: this guy was writing the massive checks. He helped start
- 15:33Speaker 2: the Clinton Global Initiative, the Clinton Foundation. I'm sure Bill said, Oh,
- 15:38Speaker 2: I'll take care, I'll sit with him, I'll listen to him.
- 15:41Speaker 2: You don't have to you have to listen to this guy.
- 15:43Speaker 2: I'll do it all. You don't worry about it. So
- 15:45Speaker 2: that's why she was really never around him. Hey, we
- 15:49Speaker 2: got we'll take some calls in a minute. Eight hundred
- 15:51Speaker 2: three to two one zero seven ten is the number
- 15:55Speaker 2: eight hundred three two one zero seven ten. It's in
- 16:00Speaker 2: access to Mark by setting a pre set in the
- 16:03Speaker 2: iHeart radio app for his live show and his podcast.
- 16:07Speaker 3: Now back to the Mark Simone show on wor.
- 16:11Speaker 2: Hey, let's take some calls. Let's go to Sarah in Manhattan. Sarah,
- 16:15Speaker 2: how are you doing?
- 16:17Speaker 8: Hi there, good morning.
- 16:19Speaker 2: No one ever talks about where Epstein got all this
- 16:22Speaker 2: money from, Like where did he get it? Well, it's
- 16:24Speaker 2: a little boring, but he was a big financial Wall
- 16:28Speaker 2: Street guy who worked at bear Stearns for years. Then
- 16:30Speaker 2: he worked at Goldman Sachs for years. He met all
- 16:33Speaker 2: the big financial gurus. They mentored him, and then he
- 16:36Speaker 2: started his own fund. Because he knew all the big investors,
- 16:41Speaker 2: he got them to put money, and he was a
- 16:43Speaker 2: former mathematician. He was pretty good. He figured out a
- 16:45Speaker 2: lot of systems to grow your money, and he was
- 16:47Speaker 2: particularly good at doing it in a way that would
- 16:50Speaker 2: avoid taxes. So and more and more people invested with
- 16:54Speaker 2: him now that he was involved in the beginning years,
- 16:59Speaker 2: when he first went out on his own with some
- 17:01Speaker 2: shady characters, there were some Bernie madeoff sort of schemes
- 17:04Speaker 2: that he was involved in. But then it was a
- 17:06Speaker 2: real fund. He had a wealth management fund and others
- 17:09Speaker 2: does that answer it? Yeah, thank you.
- 17:12Speaker 11: You just you seem to have a lot to dole out.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Oh yeah, No, he got himself up to about five
- 17:16Speaker 2: six hundred million. You got to give him credit for that,
- 17:20Speaker 2: and thanks for calling Sarah. He then had what is
- 17:23Speaker 2: known as Check's appeal. Starts giving big money to everybody,
- 17:27Speaker 2: to politicians, to museums, to the symphony, all that sort
- 17:31Speaker 2: of stuff. And there's certain things that are very very
- 17:34Speaker 2: prestigious to give you a lot of clout, a lot
- 17:37Speaker 2: of cachet, like the Rockefeller Foundation. He started making big
- 17:41Speaker 2: donations to the Rockefeller Foundation, so they got friendly with him.
- 17:44Speaker 2: Next thing, you know, he got himself on the board
- 17:46Speaker 2: of the Rockefeller Foundation and they were having some money troubles.
- 17:51Speaker 2: You know, a lot of these charities they're not good
- 17:53Speaker 2: at investing their money, so that's one reason they put
- 17:56Speaker 2: them on the board. He could show them how to
- 17:57Speaker 2: better invest their money. And then he got himself on
- 18:01Speaker 2: the board of the Carlisle Group. So this this gave
- 18:03Speaker 2: him a lot of cachet with with the big money
- 18:07Speaker 2: guys and the politicians. And I mean he was clever
- 18:10Speaker 2: the way he climbed the ladder. Let's go to Chris
- 18:13Speaker 2: in Manhattan. Chris, how you doing?
- 18:15Speaker 3: Oh good?
- 18:16Speaker 12: Thanks Mark, I hope you're doing well too. Listen, I'm
- 18:19Speaker 12: one hundred percent behind what Trump.
- 18:21Speaker 2: Has done, Chris Well explained, Chris, there's always a big
- 18:24Speaker 2: butt coming and he's the biggest what they call Pannikins.
- 18:27Speaker 2: He panics and everything go ahead.
- 18:29Speaker 12: You are absolutely my can't miss show, no matter how
- 18:33Speaker 12: you treat me.
- 18:34Speaker 2: I love you, I love you, But you're the poster
- 18:37Speaker 2: boy for the they call him the Pannikins. Whatever Trump
- 18:39Speaker 2: does is going.
- 18:40Speaker 1: To be a disaster.
- 18:41Speaker 12: I'm not panicking about it. But but in reality, everything
- 18:45Speaker 12: he's doing is going to make everything go up in price,
- 18:48Speaker 12: which is fine, okay, but he's doing the right thing.
- 18:51Speaker 12: But it's still my.
- 18:53Speaker 2: Italy goes up in price for a few weeks and
- 18:55Speaker 2: then it goes way down in price because we free
- 18:57Speaker 2: up a massive amount of oil.
- 18:59Speaker 12: So you don't think this will this will hurt his
- 19:01Speaker 12: the mid terms because if they if they win.
- 19:03Speaker 2: Them, every election, everything, you'll check the record every election.
- 19:07Speaker 2: You got something that's going to kill Remember it was
- 19:08Speaker 2: abortion when he ran for a president.
- 19:10Speaker 12: Yeah, I know, abortion. Well, I'm still surprised about that.
- 19:12Speaker 2: I was sure don't check that. You never checked it.
- 19:16Speaker 2: You never checked the actual data. It was not an
- 19:18Speaker 2: issue in the campaign. President has nothing to do with
- 19:20Speaker 2: abortion anymore. It's a state issue, federal government.
- 19:23Speaker 12: I live in Manhattan when they were running around voting
- 19:26Speaker 12: a Hall of fame because he should.
- 19:27Speaker 2: Have been Yeah, uh well, anyway, don't what happened to
- 19:31Speaker 2: Did we lose them? Are you there?
- 19:33Speaker 8: Chris?
- 19:33Speaker 2: All right, let's switched to another call. I don't know
- 19:37Speaker 2: what happened. That's that's very strange. Uh sorry about that, Chris,
- 19:41Speaker 2: But yeah, the Pannicans will tell you. Now, when you
- 19:43Speaker 2: go to war, the stock market is going to crash.
- 19:46Speaker 2: The price of oil is going to go away up.
- 19:48Speaker 2: But once it's over, a stock market starts soaring again,
- 19:51Speaker 2: price of oil comes crashing down because you're going to
- 19:53Speaker 2: free up a much, much bigger supply. Do you remember
- 19:56Speaker 2: when he started the tariffs, the stock market plunged eighty
- 19:58Speaker 2: billion points in one second, and that was it. The
- 20:01Speaker 2: whole economy was wiped out. And then that lasted a
- 20:04Speaker 2: couple of weeks. Then next thing you know, the stock
- 20:06Speaker 2: market went up on the biggest run you ever saw
- 20:08Speaker 2: and hit fifty thousand. Let's go to Adam.
- 20:11Speaker 8: In New Jersey. Adam, how you doing, Hi, Mark, would
- 20:16Speaker 8: you agree with me that the president has just started
- 20:18Speaker 8: the greatest peace movement in the history of our country.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Well, yeah, it's a little hyperbolic, but okay, he's gotten
- 20:26Speaker 2: rid of the biggest terrorists.
- 20:27Speaker 12: Of the world A K.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Vietnam.
- 20:29Speaker 2: Well, let's just say he got rid of the biggest
- 20:31Speaker 2: terrorists on Earth right now. And Democrats are very upset
- 20:35Speaker 2: because he eliminated the biggest threat to Israel at the
- 20:38Speaker 2: same time, and it'll make the Middle East certainly a
- 20:41Speaker 2: much more peaceful place. Let's go to Robert in Westchester. Robert,
- 20:45Speaker 2: how you.
- 20:45Speaker 8: Doing, Good morning, Mark, and thank you for taking my call.
- 20:49Speaker 8: So Mark, for all those Democratic talking heads that say
- 20:52Speaker 8: Obama made an agreement, they had a lock solid agreement. Well,
- 20:56Speaker 8: the last time we had an agreement with a democratic
- 20:58Speaker 8: administration under Bill Clinton was North Korea and how well
- 21:03Speaker 8: did that turn out?
- 21:04Speaker 2: Well, President Trump, what they do is they come up
- 21:06Speaker 2: with these phony agreements. You know, they make up these
- 21:08Speaker 2: phony There was an agreement to for Iran not to
- 21:11Speaker 2: have a nuclear weapon, and the part of the agreement
- 21:13Speaker 2: was they would self inspect and let us know if
- 21:16Speaker 2: they found it was the dumbest agree. Remember they had
- 21:19Speaker 2: that border bill when the border was wide open and
- 21:22Speaker 2: millions were crossing and coming into the country, and the
- 21:25Speaker 2: Democrats said, well, if only you had passed the border bill. Well,
- 21:29Speaker 2: if you read the border bill, there was absolutely nothing
- 21:32Speaker 2: in there that would have done anything to help. In fact,
- 21:35Speaker 2: the border bill made the current situation permanent. It was
- 21:39Speaker 2: the worst thing. They make up these fake bills and
- 21:41Speaker 2: try to commit you. If only you had done that,
- 21:43Speaker 2: if only had followed the Obama Iran agreement. There was
- 21:48Speaker 2: nothing in that agreement that was going to do any good.
- 21:51Speaker 2: Let's go to David in Connecticut. David, how you doing good?
- 21:55Speaker 8: Mark, Hey, it's good talking to you. Why wasn' neil
- 21:57Speaker 8: Sedaka never inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame?
- 22:01Speaker 2: Very good point. That was the problem with that's rock
- 22:03Speaker 2: and roll Hall of Fame. It's got better leadership now
- 22:05Speaker 2: in the last year or two, but for years the
- 22:07Speaker 2: leadership was horrible, and there was just a bunch of
- 22:10Speaker 2: guys picking who they liked and they didn't like. They
- 22:13Speaker 2: didn't like the sixties early sixties kind of oldiest kind
- 22:16Speaker 2: of sound. But you're right, and somebody should do something
- 22:19Speaker 2: about that. Neil Sadaka should be in the rock and
- 22:22Speaker 2: Roll Hall of Fame. Good point, Thanks for Colin.
- 22:25Speaker 13: You know.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Again, there's good leadership now running the rock and Roll
- 22:30Speaker 2: Hall of Fame, so hopefully it'll change. But for years
- 22:32Speaker 2: it was Jan Winner and his friends, and you know
- 22:35Speaker 2: these guys. If you weren't a you know, scruffy looking,
- 22:39Speaker 2: a woodstock type with a big electric guitar, they didn't
- 22:41Speaker 2: want you in the rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
- 22:43Speaker 2: If you were cute Neil Sadaka with the duop kind
- 22:45Speaker 2: of they didn't want you in the rock and Roll
- 22:47Speaker 2: Hall of Fame. But you're right, it's a glaring, glaring omission. Hey,
- 22:52Speaker 2: we'll take a break, rob Astarena, we'll talk to him
- 22:55Speaker 2: in just a moment. The Mark Simone Show on sevent
- 23:00Speaker 2: oh on Well, hey, rob as Doino. You know he
- 23:03Speaker 2: does a great weekend show here at w o R.
- 23:06Speaker 2: You can hear him every Saturday at four o'clock on
- 23:09Speaker 2: w R Saturdays at four o'clock, and or if you're
- 23:12Speaker 2: somewhere else you can listen on iHeart. Also he's on
- 23:15Speaker 2: Newsmax TV, does a great show every Saturday. Two better
- 23:20Speaker 2: ask I think it's two o'clock Newsmax rob as Doino.
- 23:24Speaker 2: How you doing? It's two o'clock, right, two to three,
- 23:27Speaker 2: one three three, it's one to three, it's three o'clock.
- 23:32Speaker 2: That is two o'clock. Now it's one o'clock. Pretty soon,
- 23:34Speaker 2: you're gonna be out all day one o'clock to three o'clock.
- 23:37Speaker 1: How are you?
- 23:38Speaker 12: Mark?
- 23:38Speaker 2: I don't get up before two o'clock on Saturday, So
- 23:40Speaker 2: that's why confuse.
- 23:42Speaker 1: That must mean you have a great Friday night.
- 23:44Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the idea. So hey, let me ask you something.
- 23:48Speaker 2: You are your politician who's now doing a radio show.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Of course you for years before that had a big
- 23:53Speaker 2: radio career. But there's another politician who's doing a radio
- 23:56Speaker 2: show on the weekends, Your old buddy Andrew Cuomo. Have
- 24:00Speaker 2: you heard this show?
- 24:03Speaker 1: I try not to.
- 24:04Speaker 2: Oh my god, you got.
- 24:06Speaker 1: The most irritating voice.
- 24:08Speaker 14: Who would put that voice on a on a talk
- 24:11Speaker 14: radio show?
- 24:12Speaker 1: Oh my god?
- 24:13Speaker 2: Well, it's he's an ex governor. But you're right, it's
- 24:16Speaker 2: it's like a ponderous lecture. He's like everybody's a student
- 24:19Speaker 2: and he's got to lecture you. You debated this guy,
- 24:23Speaker 2: What did you think when you were debating him about
- 24:25Speaker 2: that style.
- 24:26Speaker 11: God, you know it's I honestly, I just want to
- 24:28Speaker 11: take a sharp object and shove it in my ears
- 24:30Speaker 11: so I don't have to listen to him.
- 24:32Speaker 1: It's just so.
- 24:33Speaker 10: Brutal and that cadence and that I don't even know
- 24:37Speaker 10: what kind of accent is it. It's not I know
- 24:40Speaker 10: it's from Queen's but I don't even know what kind
- 24:42Speaker 10: of accent he has.
- 24:43Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right, the only guy born in America grew
- 24:46Speaker 2: up in New York. It has a foreign accent. What
- 24:48Speaker 2: the And then he does that thing where he asked
- 24:52Speaker 2: himself questions, now, no, no, why do I say that?
- 24:56Speaker 1: Well, yeah, yeah, he's a philosopher. Yeah, he's Socrates Andrew.
- 25:03Speaker 2: And then he talked to you like you're a moron,
- 25:05Speaker 2: he said, And we don't. It's a violation. Now what
- 25:09Speaker 2: do we mean when we say violation?
- 25:13Speaker 1: He's like a professor. Could you imagine having him paying
- 25:16Speaker 1: for him to go tell you about the world?
- 25:20Speaker 2: And uh so, but uh like during his years, three
- 25:27Speaker 2: people ran against him. Didn't you come closer than anybody?
- 25:30Speaker 2: I think you did, right, I did?
- 25:32Speaker 1: Other than Lee? Well, yeah, yeah that's true. I mean
- 25:34Speaker 1: Lee didn't run against him, but yes I did. But
- 25:37Speaker 1: you know it wasn't enough. But we we've been proven
- 25:40Speaker 1: right on just about every issue we talked about.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Then he looked at everybody lie to us and looked,
- 25:46Speaker 3: you know, talk down to us.
- 25:48Speaker 13: And in that time, you know, everyone has gotten the
- 25:51Speaker 13: hell out of there.
- 25:52Speaker 1: I'm actually I'm talking to you right now from Dallas.
- 25:54Speaker 1: I'm in Texas, have been for six days now.
- 25:58Speaker 11: I was covering this Texas.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Republican primary, which is pretty interesting, but it's such a
- 26:04Speaker 1: different way of life now. I know you, Mark, You're like,
- 26:07Speaker 1: I hate Florida, by I love you. The thing about it.
- 26:10Speaker 1: I feel like, for six days I shouldn't have to pay.
- 26:12Speaker 13: Income taxes in New York because there's no taxes where
- 26:15Speaker 13: I am right now.
- 26:16Speaker 1: Everything is like you know, normally priced.
- 26:19Speaker 3: The people are nice. I was driving the other day,
- 26:23Speaker 3: literally the speed limit is eighty and I'm driving ninety
- 26:29Speaker 3: and I'm like, everyone's passing me.
- 26:32Speaker 8: I love it.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, there's no taxes. You't gonna drive ninety. That's great,
- 26:37Speaker 2: but you're missing five hundred thousand things that are in
- 26:40Speaker 2: New York that aren't there.
- 26:42Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I was walking around yesterday.
- 26:46Speaker 3: Now, I'm literally in downtown Dallas and it was like
- 26:50Speaker 3: five o'clock at night, rush hour, and I could have
- 26:54Speaker 3: just walked across each street with my eyes closed and
- 26:57Speaker 3: I would not have.
- 26:58Speaker 1: Been in danger of being hit by a car. And
- 27:01Speaker 1: I was just thinking about that.
- 27:02Speaker 3: Like in New York, no matter what time, you better
- 27:05Speaker 3: look all over the place because either a scooter's gonna
- 27:08Speaker 3: hit you, a cabby's gonna hit you, an uber is
- 27:10Speaker 3: gonna hit you, a guy is gonna hit you with
- 27:12Speaker 3: a hammer, you know whatever.
- 27:14Speaker 1: But here it's such a different world, it really and
- 27:17Speaker 1: truly is. It's they do have everything.
- 27:20Speaker 2: Here, but it's not good for you. It's not good
- 27:25Speaker 2: for you. You know, you want to Hey, you're gonna
- 27:27Speaker 2: get older down there. You know, you cross the street
- 27:29Speaker 2: and everything's coming at you and you gotta duck and dodge.
- 27:31Speaker 2: It keeps you young, it keeps you active, It keeps.
- 27:35Speaker 1: You quick on your feet.
- 27:36Speaker 2: You're right. You ever see those old people the way
- 27:37Speaker 2: they walk in Florida?
- 27:39Speaker 11: Uh?
- 27:40Speaker 2: Here in New York, the old guy will knock you
- 27:41Speaker 2: over in New Yorker.
- 27:43Speaker 13: Yeah, yeah, No, I don't do the shuffle thing, but
- 27:46Speaker 13: you got to learn that when you get to Florida
- 27:47Speaker 13: and you got to learn how to basically have your
- 27:50Speaker 13: head just to bolt just below the steering wheel and
- 27:54Speaker 13: drive thirty in the left lane on ninety five.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Yes, that's what you got to do when you get
- 27:58Speaker 1: to Florida.
- 27:59Speaker 2: Hey, speaking of Texas, So why is it why the
- 28:01Speaker 2: Republicans having a tough time in Texas in these races.
- 28:05Speaker 1: Well, it's a three way primary. Cornyon, who's the incumbent.
- 28:08Speaker 3: Senator here, is going for a fifth term, and Ken Paxton,
- 28:12Speaker 3: who's the attorney general really loved by Maga. It's a
- 28:16Speaker 3: three way race. But it looks like Paxton's gonna win it.
- 28:18Speaker 3: But you got to get over fifty percent. So now
- 28:20Speaker 3: if he doesn't, which you probably won't, there'll be a
- 28:22Speaker 3: primary runoff.
- 28:24Speaker 1: They've already spent.
- 28:24Speaker 3: One hundred million dollars wasted and then they're gonna have
- 28:29Speaker 3: to do it again one hundred million probably, you know,
- 28:32Speaker 3: in the next two months. And all this money could
- 28:35Speaker 3: have been spent around the country for other Republicans. But Crockett,
- 28:39Speaker 3: you know, the lunatic on the left. She's running in
- 28:41Speaker 3: the Democratic primary here, and it's an open primary, so
- 28:44Speaker 3: people can vote in either party. You have Republicans who
- 28:47Speaker 3: are crossing over and voting for Crockett because they want her.
- 28:51Speaker 3: They want her to be the Democratic nominee because that'll
- 28:54Speaker 3: basically lock it up in November.
- 28:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Oh, you've been through this process. The primary is
- 28:59Speaker 2: still a good idea, right. It's better than the boss
- 29:02Speaker 2: is picking a candidate, isn't it.
- 29:04Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:04Speaker 11: No, Look, it would be very hypocritical of me because
- 29:07Speaker 11: the bosses picked somebody, you know, the Zelden in twenty
- 29:09Speaker 11: twenty two, and I and Andrew Giuliani and Harry Wilson
- 29:13Speaker 11: ran a primary, you know, And I'm totally fine with that.
- 29:16Speaker 1: That's the process.
- 29:17Speaker 11: And I think, you know, the party, the party people,
- 29:20Speaker 11: actually the voters should be able to pick their candidates.
- 29:23Speaker 2: Yeah, he Rob Baster And let me just ask you
- 29:26Speaker 2: a county executive question. It's it's pothole season. I start
- 29:30Speaker 2: to see these potholes opening up. Now, what is That's
- 29:32Speaker 2: because the at the end of winter, the ice, the freezing,
- 29:35Speaker 2: the salt, everything ruined. The roads creates these potholes.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah, it expands, it contracts. It's just you know, the
- 29:42Speaker 1: plows just destroy everything. The curbs get all ripped up.
- 29:46Speaker 1: So yeah, that oh, but wait a minute. If you're
- 29:49Speaker 1: in Texas, they don't do that. The roads. Let me
- 29:51Speaker 1: just look at the oh the roads look okay, actually.
- 29:53Speaker 2: Yeah yeah, yeah, that's because there's no traffic. But hey,
- 29:59Speaker 2: if there was a pothole in the driveway at mar
- 30:01Speaker 2: A Lago an hour later would be filled and fixed.
- 30:04Speaker 2: So why can't governments do that?
- 30:07Speaker 3: Because government is supposed to be on a good day,
- 30:12Speaker 3: just below average, on a normal day, just completely an addition.
- 30:17Speaker 1: That's the way it's based.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you can't it be like a pothole
- 30:21Speaker 2: truck just going around filling them wherever they it is.
- 30:24Speaker 1: In fact, the other night when I was driving, I
- 30:26Speaker 1: was in Houston.
- 30:27Speaker 14: I had to drive up to Fort Worth, right, so
- 30:28Speaker 14: it's like a three and a half hour drive, and
- 30:31Speaker 14: I'm on I forty five going up and all of
- 30:35Speaker 14: a sudden, I look and there are there's a caravan
- 30:38Speaker 14: of construction trucks ahead of me.
- 30:41Speaker 3: And I stayed in this caravan for about ten miles
- 30:45Speaker 3: or almost forty five minutes, going eight miles an hour,
- 30:48Speaker 3: and then some rock hit me and I have a
- 30:51Speaker 3: like a seven inch you.
- 30:53Speaker 1: Know, boom right in my windshield. It's a crack so
- 30:56Speaker 1: that'll be fun when I go to rent a car.
- 30:58Speaker 2: All right. Well, hey, we're almost out of time. So
- 31:01Speaker 2: you were the Republican candidate for government. That came very close,
- 31:03Speaker 2: leez Eldon came very close. What about Bruce Blakeman, Well,
- 31:07Speaker 2: he'd be the greatest governor. Does he have a good shot.
- 31:10Speaker 1: He's got a shot, there's no question. And you know
- 31:11Speaker 1: what the biggest sleeper issue. It's not crime, okay, because
- 31:15Speaker 1: there's a lot of people in the suburbs. They don't
- 31:17Speaker 1: feel unsafe.
- 31:19Speaker 6: Okay.
- 31:20Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 31:20Speaker 13: The big issue, the sleeper issue that affects everybody is energy.
- 31:24Speaker 13: High costs, high electricity costs. They're going crazy, They're going
- 31:27Speaker 13: to get higher. I think it's a really big crossover
- 31:29Speaker 13: issue for him.
- 31:30Speaker 2: Yeah, and most of that was caused by Cuomo and
- 31:33Speaker 2: Hokel absolutely yeah.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Yep, and the Green New Deal in New York closing indiandpoint.
- 31:39Speaker 2: All right, Well, rob Astrino, great stuff, and everybody can
- 31:41Speaker 2: listen to you on w R Saturday at four o'clock
