- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood to you. Thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 2: Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 3: Seacrest.
- 0:04Speaker 2: On air, on air, on air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 1: Good morning. I think August went by fast. All the
- 0:13Speaker 1: back-to-school weeks, all the back-to-school days, and here we are,
- 0:15Speaker 1: the last day, the 31st of August already.
- 0:17Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 0:18Speaker 1: I know.
- 0:19Speaker 2: We already started talking about Thanksgiving.
- 0:20Speaker 1: I was literally talking to my mom about that last night.
- 0:24Speaker 1: So now what I do is I walk in the evenings,
- 0:27Speaker 1: and I call my mom during my walk.
- 0:29Speaker 2: That is so cute.
- 0:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 0:31Speaker 2: I love that.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It's nice because I feel like I like an evening
- 0:34Speaker 1: walk since it's still light outside before I go to sleep.
- 0:35Speaker 1: And it's so warm.
- 0:36Speaker 2: What time are you walking? Because I walk in the
- 0:38Speaker 2: evenings as well.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Do you think we're going to cross paths?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Maybe we could try.
- 0:45Speaker 1: I walk. It just depends what time I eat. It
- 0:47Speaker 1: could be 6, 6.30, 7.30. Sometimes I'm known to do
- 0:49Speaker 1: it late night, 8 o'clock.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Later than me.
- 0:52Speaker 1: But anyway, I called my mom and she and I
- 0:53Speaker 1: were just saying... Actually, I was saying, and she was like, Ryan,
- 0:56Speaker 1: we have time. I was like, let's talk about Thanksgiving.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Let's talk about the holidays. I have this state of mind,
- 1:02Speaker 1: Susan Tonda, that once you get to the end of August,
- 1:05Speaker 1: I'm kind of ready to get to October.
- 1:07Speaker 2: I feel that. I'm ready for fall.
- 1:10Speaker 1: But September is wishy-washy for me.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yes, and it's kind of like a whatever month.
- 1:14Speaker 1: That's wishy-washy, right? It's the Tuesday of the months.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I'd say more Wednesday.
- 1:21Speaker 1: No, because it's... It's further down the calendar.
- 1:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:25Speaker 1: Further down the chart. But it's kind of like, I
- 1:28Speaker 1: don't know if.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Or is it the Thursday? Because it's like leading up
- 1:31Speaker 2: to the Friday, Saturday.
- 1:32Speaker 1: October is Wednesday. Thursday is November.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I don't think Thursday is November.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Thanksgiving is Thursday. Because I think December is Saturday.
- 1:40Speaker 1: No, December is Friday.
- 1:41Speaker 5: Friday.
- 1:41Speaker 2: No, I don't think it's Friday.
- 1:42Speaker 1: No, because January is Saturday.
- 1:43Speaker 2: No, January is like Monday.
- 1:45Speaker 1: February is Sunday.
- 1:46Speaker 2: No, January is Monday. Mark's on my wavelength. You guys
- 1:49Speaker 2: are off by a day. No, January is Monday.
- 1:51Speaker 1: See?
- 1:51Speaker 2: So then you got to go backwards. That means, well, no,
- 1:53Speaker 2: I don't think December's Sunday. Sunday just doesn't exist.
- 1:56Speaker 1: No, but December has to be Friday. No.
- 2:00Speaker 2: Don't you think Friday is a better day of the
- 2:02Speaker 2: weekend than Saturday?
- 2:03Speaker 1: Yes. Yeah, because you have Saturday ahead of you.
- 2:05Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:05Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 2:06Speaker 2: No, but you still work on Friday. Saturday, it's the
- 2:09Speaker 2: full day.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Of like peace and you don't have to work the
- 2:12Speaker 1: next day. I mean, you're here physically, but mentally we're out.
- 2:16Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:16Speaker 6: There's still other things. There's still like activities and I'm
- 2:19Speaker 6: still running around errands. Like Friday's still like a busy day.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Well, anyway, it's the Tuesday of months coming up next month.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Let's get to what we got to give you every hour.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Free Jonas Brothers tickets every hour.
- 2:33Speaker 2: What a gift.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I love it. I still like that song. It's been
- 2:36Speaker 1: out for a minute. I mean, we've been out for
- 2:37Speaker 1: a long time, but every time I play it, it
- 2:38Speaker 1: takes me back to when it came out. That was
- 2:40Speaker 1: my inner dialogue. 102.7 Kiss FM. Good morning. So Tanya
- 2:45Speaker 1: and Sissany, we have a Ryan's Roses.
- 2:48Speaker 5: We do.
- 2:49Speaker 1: 740 this morning. What do we know about it? She
- 2:53Speaker 1: discovered an interesting connection between her husband and their new neighbor. Oh,
- 2:56Speaker 1: we've had this before.
- 2:57Speaker 2: Yeah, something like this at least.
- 2:59Speaker 1: Why are you hanging out at the neighbor's house? Anything
- 3:03Speaker 1: embarrassing happening over the weekend, Cissie?
- 3:06Speaker 2: Well, I went to my painting party and I have
- 3:08Speaker 2: my masterpiece here.
- 3:09Speaker 1: I don't even want to know anymore. I don't even
- 3:10Speaker 1: want to know about it.
- 3:11Speaker 2: I feel like we should do a big reveal of
- 3:13Speaker 2: my painting for you guys. You can see my artwork.
- 3:16Speaker 1: Let's do it once we've settled in. Can't see those
- 3:19Speaker 1: kinds of anatomy things right now. Too early for anatomy
- 3:23Speaker 1: for me. Right? My coffee's going to get in my bloodstream.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I'm going to be shown those things.
- 3:27Speaker 2: I don't want to see those things. Would you go
- 3:30Speaker 2: to a naked girl painting party?
- 3:31Speaker 1: I wouldn't be invited to that.
- 3:33Speaker 6: If the model was a female, would.
- 3:37Speaker 1: You go to that? I don't paint. You would go.
- 3:42Speaker 1: I can't answer that because I've never been invited and
- 3:43Speaker 1: I don't paint. But I don't want to see anatomy
- 3:45Speaker 1: this morning that you sketched at this party at Nelson's house.
- 3:50Speaker 2: It wasn't at his house. It was at a facility,
- 3:52Speaker 2: like a business.
- 3:53Speaker 1: It doesn't matter if it was a roof or walls.
- 3:55Speaker 2: That's usually how.
- 3:56Speaker 1: Ruby, anything embarrassing happen to you over the weekend?
- 3:58Speaker 5: Yes.
- 3:59Speaker 7: And I don't know why this was embarrassing, but I
- 4:01Speaker 7: went out to dinner. And after the dinner, there's a
- 4:06Speaker 7: couple sitting next to us. They come up to me
- 4:08Speaker 7: or they just basically say, hey, you.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Have a tag on your shirt.
- 4:14Speaker 1: After we finished dinner.
- 4:15Speaker 7: So they waited until the end of dinner to mention
- 4:17Speaker 7: that I still had the price tag on my shirt,
- 4:19Speaker 7: on my tank top.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Was it hanging outside of it? Yes.
- 4:22Speaker 2: That's why they saw it.
- 4:24Speaker 7: And I actually thought, oh, my server didn't even say
- 4:27Speaker 7: anything to me. It was just this couple that was like.
- 4:29Speaker 1: Out of respect, because some people wear that stuff and
- 4:32Speaker 1: take it back the next day.
- 4:34Speaker 2: I would not do that.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Some people do.
- 4:38Speaker 7: Yeah, but I don't know why it felt so embarrassing
- 4:39Speaker 7: because it's really not that embarrassing, but it was one
- 4:42Speaker 7: of those moments that just felt like, really?
- 4:44Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I mean, I've been told before, you've got
- 4:47Speaker 1: a piece of dead skin on your face.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:51Speaker 1: It's natural. Your skin dies every day.
- 4:53Speaker 2: I appreciate that. I appreciate someone telling me anything that's
- 4:55Speaker 2: on my face, my teeth, all that.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Ruby's point is well taken. It's a little embarrassing to
- 4:59Speaker 1: hear it. Like, okay, then you start clawing at your
- 5:02Speaker 1: face immediately.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Like, how many people saw.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And didn't say anything?
- 5:06Speaker 3: Yes.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Or if you get a little something, Tanya, you have
- 5:10Speaker 1: a little something in your nose.
- 5:12Speaker 2: No, I remember I heard radio music festival. Actually, I
- 5:14Speaker 2: think it was last year.
- 5:15Speaker 8: I had a giant almond skin in my tooth all night.
- 5:19Speaker 8: And I went home to my hotel room, taking off
- 5:21Speaker 8: my makeup. And I see this giant, huge thing. And
- 5:24Speaker 8: I'm looking back at all my pictures, selfies with you guys.
- 5:26Speaker 2: It's stuck in there. And I'm like, I had this
- 5:28Speaker 2: all night and nobody told me.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Well, that's not true. Sissy told me, don't say anything.
- 5:36Speaker 1: I remember it like it was yesterday.
- 5:37Speaker 2: I would never.
- 5:38Speaker 1: It was right after Billy Idol performed with Miley Cyrus.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Was that last year?
- 5:43Speaker 1: I don't know. But that's the one I could think of.
- 5:49Speaker 1: That would be a great one. Made you think. How
- 5:55Speaker 1: many times a day do you get judged? You know,
- 5:57Speaker 1: people say it's a no judgment zone. Remember that yoga
- 6:01Speaker 1: teacher I had? Welcome to your no judgment hour. But
- 6:06Speaker 1: by the way, what are you celebrating? What are you navigating?
- 6:08Speaker 1: And then when I said my, I was put on
- 6:10Speaker 1: the spot in front of people in the class. And
- 6:12Speaker 1: when I said my answers, I felt judged in the
- 6:14Speaker 1: no judge hour. Do you know what we do here?
- 6:17Speaker 1: We judge. That's what we do. Our opinion is a judge.
- 6:20Speaker 2: It's true.
- 6:21Speaker 1: Our view is judging.
- 6:22Speaker 2: This is me coming to you both. Ryan and Cisney.
- 6:26Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 6:26Speaker 1: The way you tone your voice now. Yeah. And the
- 6:28Speaker 1: way you add the L and both.
- 6:31Speaker 8: It's good for you because I am not going to
- 6:34Speaker 8: be this person anymore. I feel like I have been
- 6:36Speaker 8: this person to you guys and I will not be
- 6:38Speaker 8: her anymore. Where somebody says, I haven't seen this show.
- 6:42Speaker 8: And you go, oh, my gosh, you haven't seen this show.
- 6:46Speaker 8: You haven't seen this movie.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Oh, my gosh.
- 6:48Speaker 2: What are you doing with your life?
- 6:50Speaker 8: Because it happens to me all the time. with old
- 6:52Speaker 8: movies that i haven't seen and.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I always then you feel naive.
- 6:56Speaker 8: Not naive i'm like i don't want to see it
- 6:58Speaker 8: and like i have nothing to add to this conversation
- 7:00Speaker 8: what am i i can't go watch it right now
- 7:01Speaker 8: and come back and tell you guys you just get
- 7:04Speaker 8: left in this like sticky middle situation and i'm not
- 7:07Speaker 8: going to do it to you anymore so this is
- 7:08Speaker 8: me saying i'm not going to do it to you anymore.
- 7:11Speaker 1: You know that's gonna be boring to listen to do
- 7:14Speaker 1: you do it to us.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Yeah, like when Ryan's like, I've never seen Love Island.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I'm like, you've never seen Love Island?
- 7:19Speaker 1: She just repeats what we've said sometimes. But I actually
- 7:24Speaker 1: want to disagree.
- 7:26Speaker 3: Why?
- 7:27Speaker 1: I think we are in here to judge each other
- 7:30Speaker 1: because we have such a good relationship that we can
- 7:32Speaker 1: be judged in here to the betterment of ourselves. So
- 7:35Speaker 1: I prefer you to judge us here, here. I don't
- 7:38Speaker 1: know who these other people are and maybe they're rude
- 7:40Speaker 1: outside of here, but in this room.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Judge away?
- 7:43Speaker 1: You should judge away. Like we're not.
- 7:46Speaker 2: Being rude or being playful.
- 7:47Speaker 1: Not only that, we're being honest.
- 7:50Speaker 2: Oh yeah, honest.
- 7:52Speaker 1: So be honest with us. Don't not judge. How boring
- 7:55Speaker 1: is that going to be?
- 7:55Speaker 2: By the way, why is it not honest?
- 7:58Speaker 1: I don't know. I don't know.
- 8:06Speaker 2: Like, it should be honest.
- 8:08Speaker 1: Yeah, let's judge the English language word by word. Starting
- 8:11Speaker 1: with the A's.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It is pretty crazy. The English language is tough. It
- 8:14Speaker 2: really is.
- 8:15Speaker 1: Let's judge. Judge, judge in this room. In this room.
- 8:17Speaker 5: Nice, fully.
- 8:17Speaker 1: Permission to judge. Yeah, permission to judge.
- 8:20Speaker 5: Judges?
- 8:20Speaker 1: I mean, we have judges on TV shows. Judges everywhere.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Don't tell me twice, then.
- 8:25Speaker 1: Okay, Kiss FM.
- 8:25Speaker 5: Good.
- 8:26Speaker 1: Because we have plenty of hours to do today. Seacrest here.
- 8:31Speaker 1: Are you ready for your quote of the day?
- 8:32Speaker 5: Also.
- 8:33Speaker 1: At work. Be careful. These are the three things I
- 8:37Speaker 1: keep hearing about and reading about that people gripe about
- 8:42Speaker 1: at the office. If you go into work and you complain,
- 8:45Speaker 1: people don't like it. You're not making friends at work.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, I know. Kind of what we do
- 8:50Speaker 1: as sport here, though. If you go in and don't
- 8:53Speaker 1: clean up after yourself in the kitchen, the microwave, people
- 8:55Speaker 1: do not like it. They do not like you for that.
- 8:59Speaker 1: And holding boring meetings... That go on forever. People are
- 9:04Speaker 1: not a fan.
- 9:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 9:06Speaker 2: Be efficient.
- 9:07Speaker 1: I don't like meetings at all.
- 9:08Speaker 2: We know that.
- 9:09Speaker 7: Oh.
- 9:10Speaker 5: All right.
- 9:10Speaker 1: Coming up later this morning, we have Ryan Trozes. But
- 9:13Speaker 1: right now, a quote. When you replace this is hard
- 9:17Speaker 1: with what's the first step? You shift your brain from
- 9:21Speaker 1: fear into problem-solving. It's all framing.
- 9:23Speaker 6: That is such a good tip, especially to help your
- 9:26Speaker 6: kids with homework.
- 9:27Speaker 1: It's so hard. No, just take the first step. It's
- 9:29Speaker 1: all framing. You've got to frame it up. Kiss FM,
- 9:30Speaker 1: good morning. Well, the bottom line is Ryan's Rose is
- 9:34Speaker 1: also Ronnie is going to be out with Free Gas
- 9:36Speaker 1: and Carson later this morning. Sisney has the headlines. Kiss
- 9:41Speaker 1: FM headlines with Sisney.
- 9:43Speaker 6: Well, it took over two months, but air quality regulators
- 9:46Speaker 6: confirmed that the millions of pounds of rotting food has
- 9:50Speaker 6: been removed from the burned lineage warehouse in Boyle Heights.
- 9:53Speaker 6: But Simi Valley residents say they have been dealing with
- 9:57Speaker 6: foul odors they believe are coming from a nearby landfill.
- 10:00Speaker 2: That is receiving the rotting food.
- 10:03Speaker 6: Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chainfield's music festival was in Irvine over
- 10:07Speaker 6: the weekend, raising $ 10 million for nonprofits supporting women and girls.
- 10:13Speaker 6: And Melinda Gates is matching it, bringing the total to
- 10:15Speaker 6: $ 20 million. And Southern California could see some unusual weather
- 10:20Speaker 6: this week as a tropical system develops off the coast.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Potentially bringing bigger waves and even some rain.
- 10:26Speaker 1: All right. It's Ryan Seacrest. This is Tanya with you.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Last hour talking about embarrassing moments. Tanya, you had a
- 10:31Speaker 1: really good one where you said you had an almond
- 10:33Speaker 1: skin in your mouth at the I Heart Radio Music Festival.
- 10:36Speaker 9: Giant.
- 10:37Speaker 1: You're saying last year? And we took pictures together. And
- 10:40Speaker 1: we never say anything because Sidney told me. I'll never
- 10:42Speaker 1: forget it. Last year, Billy Idol and Miley Cyrus came
- 10:44Speaker 1: off the stage. And Sidney's like, don't tell her she
- 10:46Speaker 1: got that almond skin. It's going to embarrass her.
- 10:48Speaker 2: You're such a liar. I did not say that.
- 10:50Speaker 1: I think you did.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I'm pretty sure that Billy Idol and Miley Cyrus did
- 10:54Speaker 6: not perform together last year.
- 10:55Speaker 1: No, not last year, but they did. I just looked
- 10:57Speaker 1: it up. It was 2016. Oh, my God.
- 10:59Speaker 6: All these shows, these years.
- 11:02Speaker 1: Are you kidding me?
- 11:03Speaker 10: You're right.
- 11:05Speaker 1: No, that skin was in your teeth for a long time.
- 11:09Speaker 1: It was a reference.
- 11:10Speaker 6: That just goes to show Ryan's brain and like how
- 11:13Speaker 6: you think that was last year when it was 10
- 11:16Speaker 6: years ago.
- 11:17Speaker 5: Literally.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Never forget Green Day up on that stage.
- 11:19Speaker 2: That was 15 years ago.
- 11:21Speaker 1: Remember that one?
- 11:23Speaker 2: I do remember that one. I do remember that one too.
- 11:24Speaker 2: It was way more than 10 years ago. Mark's looking
- 11:27Speaker 2: up that one now.
- 11:29Speaker 1: That was 2012. Right.
- 11:31Speaker 5: Exactly.
- 11:31Speaker 3: Exactly.
- 11:33Speaker 1: Got to stop eating nuts, Tanya. Those things linger.
- 11:35Speaker 2: I know. I'm sending you guys the picture.
- 11:37Speaker 1: Ronnie's out. Free gas in Carson. Time begins to merge. Ronnie,
- 11:41Speaker 1: good morning. How are you this morning? It's great to
- 11:44Speaker 1: hear your energy.
- 11:45Speaker 10: I am so good.
- 11:47Speaker 5: How are you doing?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Great. Now, look for Ronnie. He's got the KISS vehicle.
- 11:51Speaker 1: He's also wearing a KISS FM t-shirt this morning.
- 11:55Speaker 5: Yes, I am.
- 11:56Speaker 3: I'm doing a retro KISS shirt because I'm testing a
- 11:59Speaker 3: new theory because I feel like other times people think
- 12:01Speaker 3: I'm trying to scam them. So I'm like, maybe if
- 12:03Speaker 3: I look like I actually work for KISS, they will
- 12:06Speaker 3: think I do.
- 12:07Speaker 1: Wearing the logo. Exactly. Okay, well, let's see how it goes.
- 12:10Speaker 1: So do you want to try and give somebody some
- 12:11Speaker 1: free gas this morning before we get into Ryan's Roses?
- 12:14Speaker 9: Yes, I am here with Alejandra.
- 12:16Speaker 3: She's heading to work. And here she is.
- 12:19Speaker 9: Hello.
- 12:20Speaker 1: Good morning, Alejandra. It's Ryan. It's this neat Tanya on
- 12:22Speaker 1: KISS FM. How are you?
- 12:24Speaker 9: I'm good. How are you?
- 12:26Speaker 1: We're great. What are you up to this morning?
- 12:28Speaker 9: I am so happy right now.
- 12:31Speaker 4: Really?
- 12:32Speaker 3: Good.
- 12:33Speaker 9: Yes, I'm actually heading to Amazon. I'm going to go
- 12:36Speaker 9: through a route and they stopped me and he's like,
- 12:38Speaker 9: can I fill up your gas tank? And I'm like, yes,
- 12:40Speaker 9: because I use my personal car.
- 12:42Speaker 10: I'm like, oh, perfect.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Oh, really? So to work with them and to do
- 12:47Speaker 1: what you do, you use your own card? You pay
- 12:49Speaker 1: for your gas?
- 12:49Speaker 9: Yes, because it's Amazon Flex.
- 12:53Speaker 3: Yes.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Okay.
- 12:54Speaker 3: So I work on my own.
- 12:55Speaker 5: Yes.
- 12:56Speaker 1: Got it. So you have flexibility.
- 12:59Speaker 5: Yes.
- 13:00Speaker 1: And at five, almost 570 a gallon. This is good news.
- 13:04Speaker 1: What are you driving?
- 13:06Speaker 9: Um, SUV or about four.
- 13:08Speaker 5: Okay.
- 13:10Speaker 1: Thank you for listening to us. Thank you for flexing
- 13:12Speaker 1: with Amazon. You have a great day today and, uh,
- 13:15Speaker 1: you can pass the phone back to Ronnie right there
- 13:17Speaker 1: in a kiss of empty shirt.
- 13:18Speaker 9: Thank you. Thank you so much. Have a good one.
- 13:20Speaker 1: You too.
- 13:22Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 13:22Speaker 3: No problem.
- 13:23Speaker 1: I think wearing that T-shirt worked.
- 13:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and I ran up to her, so I'm happy
- 13:28Speaker 3: she wasn't scared. Like, she was running to go in
- 13:30Speaker 3: and pay, and I'm running after her. So thankfully she
- 13:34Speaker 3: didn't get scared.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Are we capturing any of this stuff, Mark? We should
- 13:37Speaker 1: be capturing this on video. It would be great to
- 13:39Speaker 1: post this. Ronnie's the video guy. Ronnie, aren't you the
- 13:43Speaker 1: video guy? Ronnie, aren't you capturing this?
- 13:46Speaker 3: I am trying to capture, but I have, you know,
- 13:48Speaker 3: I'm like.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Trying to capture and capturing is who you with?
- 13:53Speaker 3: I'm here with Mateo.
- 13:55Speaker 1: Well, have Mateo video this thing and put it up.
- 13:58Speaker 1: People need to see and they can be next.
- 13:59Speaker 2: He needs to be filming you.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Yeah, here's what it's like. You could be next tomorrow.
- 14:03Speaker 1: Kiss FM, that kind of a thing. You're the digital
- 14:04Speaker 1: content guy.
- 14:05Speaker 5: Kiss.
- 14:06Speaker 3: Okay, I'm going to get him to film me.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Thank you.
- 14:09Speaker 5: All right.
- 14:09Speaker 1: I mean, it's a missed opportunity. And then you could
- 14:11Speaker 1: just put up there, where will we be tomorrow? Find
- 14:14Speaker 1: out kind of thing. Plus, it's fun to watch him
- 14:16Speaker 1: running up to Alejandra. You're on Kiss. Kiss FM, Christine,
- 14:22Speaker 1: how are you in West Covina?
- 14:23Speaker 9: Hi, I'm good.
- 14:25Speaker 11: How are you?
- 14:26Speaker 1: Well, we're moving through it, I could tell you. Moving
- 14:29Speaker 1: through it, but we wanted to stop down for a
- 14:32Speaker 1: second and get to you. I see that you're calling
- 14:34Speaker 1: in here and you're saying in West Covina that your
- 14:39Speaker 1: bachelorette is pregnant. Now what? Tell me what you mean.
- 14:43Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 11: So my best friend is getting married and we have
- 14:48Speaker 11: had a huge bachelorette weekend in Vegas planned for, you know,
- 14:51Speaker 11: Labor Day weekend for months. Like we literally leave on Thursday.
- 14:57Speaker 11: But yeah, she dropped a bomb on us.
- 14:59Speaker 10: She's pregnant.
- 15:00Speaker 11: And like, we're thrilled for her, obviously, obviously. But now
- 15:06Speaker 11: we're looking at this entire Vegas itinerary, like What are
- 15:11Speaker 11: we supposed to do?
- 15:12Speaker 2: Like, yeah, Vegas is tough.
- 15:16Speaker 11: But, you know, she keeps telling us, like, still go out,
- 15:20Speaker 11: have fun, have drinks. Like, I'll just hang out. But, like,
- 15:23Speaker 11: you're the bride.
- 15:25Speaker 10: She could still have fun.
- 15:30Speaker 11: Yeah, I mean, but I think she's planning on just
- 15:33Speaker 11: sitting in the hotel room while the rest of us
- 15:35Speaker 11: go party in Vegas.
- 15:36Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
- 15:38Speaker 1: No, no.
- 15:39Speaker 11: And like, I don't want that, but I also don't
- 15:41Speaker 11: want everyone else to have like a boring weekend because
- 15:44Speaker 11: we feel guilty about drinking and going out.
- 15:47Speaker 1: What about you? Not her. I heard it. This is
- 15:52Speaker 1: about your and your friend's guilt. Not about her. Cause
- 15:56Speaker 1: it sounds like she's look, she knows what she's doing.
- 15:59Speaker 1: She's pregnant. She's excited to have a baby. And she's like,
- 16:03Speaker 1: I still want to have fun with you guys. Why
- 16:04Speaker 1: don't you go to some shows?
- 16:08Speaker 11: Thank you for suggestions that's exactly what i'm looking for
- 16:10Speaker 11: because i don't know what to do in vegas other.
- 16:13Speaker 6: Than a spa day like that can take up a
- 16:17Speaker 6: good chunk of the day that's like relaxing she can
- 16:20Speaker 6: get a pregnancy massage all of that and then yeah
- 16:23Speaker 6: shows are a really good option skip.
- 16:25Speaker 1: The clubs and do a dinner she's saying you don't
- 16:28Speaker 1: don't not not not not not have to drink double
- 16:31Speaker 1: negative triple negative but you know what i'm.
- 16:33Speaker 10: Saying Yes, okay, okay, okay. Yeah, we can do that.
- 16:39Speaker 1: Here's the other thing that I heard. You can't say
- 16:44Speaker 1: about anything to anybody, we're so excited that she's having
- 16:49Speaker 1: a baby, but. Because that disqualifies everything you were so
- 16:53Speaker 1: excited about when you say the but. So I think
- 16:57Speaker 1: we all have to do this. You got to just say,
- 16:59Speaker 1: we're so excited she's having a baby. And we want to,
- 17:03Speaker 1: and not, but, and we want to figure out what
- 17:05Speaker 1: we can do. And is changing the whole thing. Not, but,
- 17:08Speaker 1: but it's negative and it's positive.
- 17:10Speaker 2: It's true.
- 17:11Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:11Speaker 1: And we want to figure out what we can do
- 17:13Speaker 1: fun together.
- 17:14Speaker 2: Did you just figure that out?
- 17:15Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 17:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 17:16Speaker 2: I don't think you've ever said that before.
- 17:19Speaker 11: She's the first one to get pregnant. And I guess
- 17:22Speaker 11: we were just all kind of taken aback. We were,
- 17:24Speaker 11: we did not expect that.
- 17:28Speaker 3: Okay.
- 17:28Speaker 1: No, but not but. And okay. And okay. Not but okay.
- 17:32Speaker 9: And okay.
- 17:33Speaker 1: We're excited for her.
- 17:34Speaker 2: And who's next?
- 17:35Speaker 1: Not but who's next?
- 17:36Speaker 11: I love and. Well, thank you for the suggestion.
- 17:41Speaker 1: It's my pleasure.
- 17:42Speaker 5: All right.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Have a great day. Good luck and have fun. And
- 17:44Speaker 1: congratulations to your friend.
- 17:47Speaker 11: Great.
- 17:47Speaker 5: Okay.
- 17:48Speaker 6: See ya.
- 17:48Speaker 9: Bye.
- 17:48Speaker 1: 102.7 Kiss FM. So let's get to Ryan's Roses. Angelina's
- 17:55Speaker 1: on the line from Whittier, and she says they got
- 17:57Speaker 1: a new neighbor down the street. And to her knowledge,
- 17:59Speaker 1: her husband has never met or been in the house.
- 18:03Speaker 1: So why did his phone connect to her Bluetooth speaker
- 18:06Speaker 1: when she invited us over for a barbecue? So wait,
- 18:09Speaker 1: it was almost as if he already had Bluetooth at
- 18:13Speaker 1: her place?
- 18:14Speaker 10: Yeah, it was really weird.
- 18:17Speaker 1: That's interesting. The automatic Bluetooth, when it recognizes, if you
- 18:21Speaker 1: don't forget the device, it recognizes you've been here before
- 18:23Speaker 1: and it just syncs right up. So, okay, it syncs up.
- 18:27Speaker 1: What did he say? What did you say?
- 18:30Speaker 10: Well, he denied everything. He said that it must have
- 18:33Speaker 10: been a glitch. And I don't know. Obviously, I said,
- 18:39Speaker 10: how are you connected to your speaker? He said, I
- 18:41Speaker 10: don't know. It must be a glitch. My phone connects
- 18:43Speaker 10: to random devices all the time.
- 18:45Speaker 1: Hmm.
- 18:46Speaker 2: No. Unless you guys have the same speaker.
- 18:52Speaker 5: Right.
- 18:54Speaker 1: What is this? Tell me about this neighbor. Is she single?
- 18:58Speaker 10: Yeah, she appears to be single. Like, lives alone. I've
- 19:02Speaker 10: literally never given her a second thought until now, I guess.
- 19:06Speaker 10: Because she invited us over to this end of summer barbecue.
- 19:11Speaker 10: Let's play this out.
- 19:13Speaker 1: Let's play this out. So you think your husband has
- 19:17Speaker 1: been over there hanging out with her, the single her
- 19:20Speaker 1: behind your back?
- 19:23Speaker 10: I don't know. I don't know. It was just really
- 19:26Speaker 10: weird when we went to her place and the way
- 19:30Speaker 10: that they greeted each other, it just seemed really fake.
- 19:36Speaker 1: What did they do to greet? They were like, oh, hi,
- 19:39Speaker 1: so nice to finally see you.
- 19:40Speaker 5: Wink, wink.
- 19:42Speaker 9: Exactly.
- 19:42Speaker 10: It was like that. It was like, oh, how are
- 19:45Speaker 10: you liking the neighborhood? And it just really opened the top.
- 19:49Speaker 10: Like they were trying to pretend. I don't know. It
- 19:52Speaker 10: was so bizarre.
- 19:54Speaker 1: What's her name?
- 19:56Speaker 11: Jillian.
- 19:57Speaker 1: We're going to call your husband next and see what
- 19:59Speaker 1: he's thinking about. You or Jillian. What's on his mind?
- 20:02Speaker 1: It's Kiss FM. All right. We're about to make the
- 20:04Speaker 1: Ryan's Roses call. Angelina is on the phone in Whittier.
- 20:08Speaker 1: Bizarre thing here. I can't believe it's just tech coincidence.
- 20:11Speaker 1: But a new neighbor comes. She's single. Husband and Angelina
- 20:17Speaker 1: go over for an end of summer barbecue. All of
- 20:19Speaker 1: a sudden, his phone syncs up to the Bluetooth there. Sketch.
- 20:21Speaker 1: Like he's been there before, but he said he'd never
- 20:23Speaker 1: been there before. So why is he tiptoeing around over
- 20:26Speaker 1: there listening to music on a smart speaker? It's Sketch.
- 20:31Speaker 1: And he says, I don't know. It must have been
- 20:32Speaker 1: a tech flaw. And you didn't think twice about this
- 20:36Speaker 1: woman until now. but do you think your husband's cheating?
- 20:38Speaker 1: Do you think he's that, like he could do that?
- 20:42Speaker 4: I don't know.
- 20:42Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 20:43Speaker 10: I mean, she works in jewelry. So like maybe there's
- 20:48Speaker 10: something like that. I don't know, but it's just, why
- 20:52Speaker 10: would he, even if they were doing like some kind
- 20:55Speaker 10: of business, something like, why would he claim while he
- 20:57Speaker 10: was there?
- 20:58Speaker 1: And why would he not tell you that he's, well,
- 21:00Speaker 1: maybe it's a surprise.
- 21:02Speaker 6: But still, why are you going over there and connecting
- 21:03Speaker 6: your phone to the Bluetooth speaker?
- 21:05Speaker 1: Let's just get to it. So her name is Jillian.
- 21:08Speaker 1: Your name is Angelina. Who's he thinking about, Sis? That's
- 21:10Speaker 1: the question. Can you, Angelina, say, Ryan, you have my
- 21:13Speaker 1: permission to call, and then your husband's name?
- 21:16Speaker 10: You have my permission to call.
- 21:18Speaker 1: We're going to do it right now. Be very quiet.
- 21:22Speaker 1: Let's see if we can find out. Ryan's Rose is
- 21:24Speaker 1: a public service.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Hello?
- 21:36Speaker 2: Hi, is this Dylan?
- 21:39Speaker 5: Yes, this is.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Hi, my name is Celeste. How are you doing this morning?
- 21:43Speaker 5: I'm doing well, yourself?
- 21:44Speaker 2: I'm good, thank you. I'm calling from Big Blooms.
- 21:46Speaker 6: We're actually on Greenleaf Avenue here in Whittier, and we
- 21:49Speaker 6: deliver locally and surrounding areas, of course. But the reason
- 21:53Speaker 6: I'm calling is because we have a promotion. It's a
- 21:55Speaker 6: free dozen red roses that you can send to anybody
- 21:56Speaker 6: that you'd like today.
- 21:59Speaker 5: Like virtual roses or something?
- 22:01Speaker 3: No, no, no. No, no.
- 22:02Speaker 2: We're a flower shop. They're beautiful.
- 22:04Speaker 6: It's a dozen red roses. And I don't need cash
- 22:06Speaker 6: from you or credit card info. This is not a
- 22:08Speaker 6: subscription or anything like that.
- 22:09Speaker 2: It's not a membership.
- 22:11Speaker 6: We just do this about once a month, trying to
- 22:13Speaker 6: promote our business. And if there's anybody you want to
- 22:15Speaker 6: send flowers to, we just need their name. And you
- 22:17Speaker 6: can write a note, of course.
- 22:21Speaker 5: Okay. What's the catch?
- 22:24Speaker 1: No catch.
- 22:25Speaker 6: I mean, if I'm being honest, I want you to
- 22:26Speaker 6: come back as a customer one day, but these are free.
- 22:28Speaker 6: There's no, there's no obligation to pay any money or
- 22:32Speaker 6: ever come back into our store if you don't want to.
- 22:36Speaker 5: Uh, okay. Um, well, all right. Like this actually works then. Um,
- 22:43Speaker 5: my wife is barely speaking to me right now. So, um, yeah,
- 22:47Speaker 5: that'd be great. Okay.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Sorry about that. But what's her name?
- 22:53Speaker 5: Um, Jillian. I'm sorry, Angelina.
- 22:59Speaker 2: Did you say Jillian or Angelina?
- 23:02Speaker 5: It's Angelina.
- 23:03Speaker 2: It's Angelina.
- 23:04Speaker 5: Okay. Angelina.
- 23:06Speaker 2: Is everything okay?
- 23:08Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah. I'm just dealing with something right now, and
- 23:13Speaker 5: it's just normal marriage stuff, so it's just a misunderstanding.
- 23:17Speaker 3: Gotcha.
- 23:17Speaker 1: Dylan. Dylan. Your voice is being broadcast on the radio
- 23:21Speaker 1: right now, and we've got your wife, Angelina, on the line.
- 23:25Speaker 1: What's the normal marriage stuff you're dealing with?
- 23:33Speaker 5: My wife, she doesn't believe me about something right now,
- 23:36Speaker 5: but it's nothing.
- 23:39Speaker 1: What is it that she doesn't believe you about?
- 23:41Speaker 7: Nothing.
- 23:44Speaker 5: Well, she thinks that I'm, I think she thinks that
- 23:48Speaker 5: I'm around with someone, but she, yeah, it's.
- 23:53Speaker 1: Jillian?
- 23:55Speaker 5: Yes, that's.
- 23:57Speaker 1: I just heard you say you almost want to send
- 23:59Speaker 1: red roses to Jillian.
- 24:03Speaker 5: Because this has been on my mind and it's, and
- 24:07Speaker 5: I know she suspects that, but that's not what's happening
- 24:10Speaker 5: right now.
- 24:11Speaker 1: Well, it's hard to decipher. I have your wife, Angelina,
- 24:16Speaker 1: on the line. Why don't you explain to her what's
- 24:18Speaker 1: going on?
- 24:22Speaker 10: Yeah, you're lying to me. I mean, it was just
- 24:26Speaker 10: a glitch, and you literally just said her name.
- 24:29Speaker 5: I know, I know, I know, because I know you
- 24:32Speaker 5: think that, but let me explain, okay? It's not anything,
- 24:38Speaker 5: all right? Okay, why?
- 24:41Speaker 10: Why have you been over there?
- 24:44Speaker 5: Well, she has been having issues with an ex, okay?
- 24:51Speaker 5: And she found out I worked in security and I
- 24:54Speaker 5: helped her install some cameras. And they're on her home network,
- 24:58Speaker 5: so I connected to set them up. And that's why
- 25:02Speaker 5: when we were over at the barbecue, the speaker, my
- 25:07Speaker 5: music came on. And so the speaker's on that network.
- 25:11Speaker 10: Okay, I knew it.
- 25:13Speaker 2: You lied.
- 25:14Speaker 10: Why would you lie about that?
- 25:17Speaker 5: She asked me not to tell anyone because she didn't
- 25:18Speaker 5: want anyone in the neighborhood to know about her personal drama.
- 25:21Speaker 1: This is your wife.
- 25:23Speaker 10: Okay, so you kept a secret from your wife to
- 25:26Speaker 10: protect another woman?
- 25:28Speaker 1: Yeah, that's well said.
- 25:30Speaker 2: Not okay.
- 25:32Speaker 1: Why do you have a stronger view of her protection
- 25:36Speaker 1: versus your wife's being transparent with your wife?
- 25:39Speaker 5: I was just trying to do the right thing. I
- 25:41Speaker 5: was trying to respect her privacy. And so that was it.
- 25:45Speaker 5: That there was nothing more than that. Like, I'm not,
- 25:48Speaker 5: I apologize.
- 25:49Speaker 10: Well, you failed. Honestly, that was not the right thing.
- 25:53Speaker 10: And on it, I'm not even sure if I believe you.
- 25:57Speaker 10: You've had, you've had days to come up with an excuse.
- 26:00Speaker 5: And I don't know.
- 26:03Speaker 10: I think that this is just what you came up with.
- 26:06Speaker 3: Fine.
- 26:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 26:08Speaker 1: Look, Dylan, it's hard to believe what you're saying is authentic.
- 26:13Speaker 1: I don't know you. She knows you. She doesn't believe you.
- 26:15Speaker 1: We're going to let you go, but it's a very
- 26:17Speaker 1: tangled story.
- 26:19Speaker 5: Go talk to her. She'll confirm everything. I swear.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Of course she would.
- 26:23Speaker 1: Angelina, go talk to her. I mean, you know your husband.
- 26:26Speaker 10: I'm already on my way.
- 26:28Speaker 5: I'm good luck right over there.
- 26:30Speaker 1: I hope you get to the bottom of it. Thank
- 26:31Speaker 1: you for reaching out. Good luck finding peace in that relationship.
- 26:35Speaker 1: 102.7 KISS FM. Lots of calls coming in saying after
- 26:39Speaker 1: that Ryan's Rose is that he's definitely lying. Connecting to
- 26:41Speaker 1: Wi-Fi is different than connecting to Bluetooth. He's making it
- 26:43Speaker 1: all up. If he's telling the truth, there's no need
- 26:46Speaker 1: to connect to Bluetooth. So thank you, tech, IT, for listening.
- 26:51Speaker 1: I just don't trust him. I mean, when he almost
- 26:53Speaker 1: sent the red roses to her, the other woman, the neighbor.
- 26:58Speaker 5: Come on.
- 26:59Speaker 4: Come on.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Backtracking. On air with Ryan Seacrest. 2.7 Kiss of Amity.
- 27:08Speaker 1: Sisney went to a paint your random man naked party
- 27:12Speaker 1: over the weekend. I think it's finally time you share
- 27:14Speaker 1: with us what happened.
- 27:16Speaker 5: Great.
- 27:16Speaker 1: How your husband reacted to that. I do not need
- 27:18Speaker 1: to see the artwork.
- 27:19Speaker 2: I brought it in. It's right there on the wall.
- 27:22Speaker 1: It's covered.
- 27:23Speaker 2: Big reveal.
- 27:24Speaker 1: Is it?
- 27:26Speaker 2: I think you guys are really impressed with my artwork.
- 27:29Speaker 1: Ronnie, why aren't you here to deal with this?
- 27:34Speaker 3: Deal with the what? I have to deal with all my...
- 27:37Speaker 3: I thought this man was about to run me over.
- 27:39Speaker 3: I have to deal with giving people free gas.
- 27:42Speaker 1: I know, but Sisney went to a party where she
- 27:45Speaker 1: painted naked male models that she didn't know, and she's
- 27:48Speaker 1: very proud of her art. That's interesting. Exactly.
- 27:53Speaker 3: I am glad your painting came out good. I don't
- 27:55Speaker 3: know if I would do that myself, though.
- 27:57Speaker 1: Oh, you're such a liar. You're with us on this one, Lani. Yeah. Yeah.
- 28:03Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 28:03Speaker 3: That's like weird to have to sit there and just
- 28:05Speaker 3: see someone just standing there naked in front of you.
- 28:07Speaker 1: It's like the voice of reason. I don't want to.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Just stare at that for that long. It was like bonding.
- 28:12Speaker 2: Like there's like 20 of us.
- 28:14Speaker 1: It's coming up first. Ronnie, who do you have for
- 28:15Speaker 1: free gas and Carson?
- 28:17Speaker 3: Okay, listen, you guys. So the first person told me no,
- 28:21Speaker 3: but I'm about to walk, ask this guy right here,
- 28:23Speaker 3: and you know I'm wearing my KISS shirt. Hi, sir.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Can I ask you a question?
- 28:27Speaker 3: I'm Ronnie with KISS FM. We would love to fill
- 28:29Speaker 3: up your gas tank for free, courtesy of Ryan Seacrest.
- 28:32Speaker 3: Do you want free gas?
- 28:33Speaker 5: Okay, come on.
- 28:34Speaker 3: What's your name? What is it?
- 28:37Speaker 5: Richard.
- 28:38Speaker 3: Ryan Seacrest is on the phone.
- 28:39Speaker 4: Can you speak to him?
- 28:41Speaker 5: Okay, here. It's Richard, you guys.
- 28:44Speaker 1: Hello? Hi, Richard.
- 28:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 28:48Speaker 1: It's Ryan Seacrest, and your voice is being broadcast on
- 28:51Speaker 1: 102.7 KISS FM. How are you?
- 28:52Speaker 4: I'm fine.
- 28:55Speaker 1: Good. That's Ronnie in the KISS shirt with the KISS
- 28:58Speaker 1: vehicle there, and we're just randomly, because of the high
- 29:01Speaker 1: prices of gas roaming around Southern California, pumping free tanks
- 29:05Speaker 1: of gas, and we're going to fill yours up.
- 29:09Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 29:09Speaker 1: No, there's no catch. Our pleasure, bro. No catch. What
- 29:13Speaker 1: are you up to?
- 29:15Speaker 5: Nothing.
- 29:15Speaker 4: I was just going to Sun Valley to see my.
- 29:16Speaker 1: Girlfriend How long have you been dating?
- 29:20Speaker 4: About five, six years.
- 29:22Speaker 1: Interesting. Now, what are we thinking?
- 29:26Speaker 4: I think I'm just going to go hang out, help
- 29:30Speaker 4: her do some laundry and just hang out for the day.
- 29:32Speaker 1: That's great. What about year seven? What's going to happen?
- 29:37Speaker 1: Year seven?
- 29:38Speaker 4: Well, we're trying to get our own place right now
- 29:40Speaker 4: and we're trying to figure stuff out.
- 29:43Speaker 1: I got you.
- 29:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, Carson to Sun Valley is a long
- 29:46Speaker 6: distance relationship.
- 29:47Speaker 1: 45 minute drive.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Yeah, it's a hassle. It's not even a 45. It
- 29:53Speaker 4: can be, like right now, it's like an hour and 15.
- 29:56Speaker 1: Does she appreciate that?
- 29:57Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 29:58Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 30:00Speaker 1: And you're going to do laundry? You're a good man.
- 30:02Speaker 2: I know.
- 30:03Speaker 4: Yeah, I try to help as much as I can.
- 30:05Speaker 1: All right, well, we're going to help you out, Richard.
- 30:08Speaker 1: It's great to get to know you. Thanks for chatting
- 30:09Speaker 1: with us. I appreciate you just spending some time. Enjoy
- 30:13Speaker 1: your trip to go see her, and I hope it
- 30:15Speaker 1: all works out. I'm going to see you.
- 30:20Speaker 5: Okay, bro.
- 30:20Speaker 1: We got Richard going now.
- 30:21Speaker 6: Right, right, right.
- 30:22Speaker 2: A little shy at first, but then opened up.
- 30:24Speaker 1: We got Richard out of his shell, talking about his girlfriend, Ronnie.
- 30:29Speaker 5: Hey, you guys.
- 30:31Speaker 1: Good job. All morning this morning.
- 30:34Speaker 3: You see, I've just been running up to people. Only
- 30:36Speaker 3: one person told me no, but that's okay.
- 30:39Speaker 1: That's their loss.
- 30:40Speaker 5: I'm going to get some free gas.
- 30:42Speaker 1: Ronnie Henry out. Free gas this morning in Carson. All right,
- 30:44Speaker 1: take care of Richard. He's got to get to his
- 30:45Speaker 1: girlfriend and do laundry.
- 30:47Speaker 5: I will.
- 30:47Speaker 3: Talk to you guys later.
- 30:48Speaker 5: Okay.
- 30:49Speaker 1: Bye, Ronnie.
- 30:49Speaker 3: Bye.
- 30:50Speaker 1: Like him it's kiss fm coming up next jonas brothers
- 30:54Speaker 1: tickets for you to win 102.7 kiss fm so a
- 30:57Speaker 1: former colleague of ours had a birthday right and the
- 31:01Speaker 1: theme was not like dress up in white or barbecue
- 31:04Speaker 1: or let's make homemade pizzas or let's craft the theme
- 31:09Speaker 1: was painting painting that was the theme yes but naked paintings.
- 31:16Speaker 1: So naked men would come to the party and then
- 31:19Speaker 1: you would paint these subjects.
- 31:21Speaker 2: It was a very well put together event. It was
- 31:24Speaker 2: an event space. There was a host, there was a DJ,
- 31:27Speaker 2: there was food, there was in and out provided. Like
- 31:30Speaker 2: it was really.
- 31:31Speaker 1: That's all a distraction for me. This, for me, this
- 31:35Speaker 1: borderlines on a look, not cheating, but I think if
- 31:39Speaker 1: I were your husband, I would not be so comfortable with,
- 31:42Speaker 1: with you going to a party.
- 31:43Speaker 12: To create art with beautiful specimens of young, naked, zero
- 31:54Speaker 12: body fat, bulging muscles men.
- 31:58Speaker 2: It was educational. It wasn't gross. I don't know how
- 32:03Speaker 2: to explain it. It wasn't as freaky deaky as you're
- 32:05Speaker 2: making it seem.
- 32:06Speaker 1: To the back room, have you ever been invited to
- 32:09Speaker 1: a party like this?
- 32:10Speaker 2: But I want to. All right.
- 32:14Speaker 1: So please just give us the highlights of what happened,
- 32:17Speaker 1: why it was okay. And what your husband said, he.
- 32:21Speaker 6: Was like, you know, go have fun. Obviously there's no
- 32:23Speaker 6: like leash on me. And he's okay with it.
- 32:26Speaker 1: Was he thrilled?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 32:27Speaker 11: You're right.
- 32:27Speaker 2: I'll give you that.
- 32:28Speaker 6: But he's not going to say no. Anyway, so we
- 32:31Speaker 6: get there and there is a drag queen that is
- 32:33Speaker 6: the host. And she highlights Nelson and happy birthday.
- 32:36Speaker 2: And it's so cute.
- 32:37Speaker 6: And then there's an actual art teacher that is giving us...
- 32:41Speaker 6: a tutorial of like how to even start a painting
- 32:43Speaker 6: like this. So we actually sketched stuff with pencil first.
- 32:47Speaker 6: And then when it was time, you know, the men
- 32:50Speaker 6: came out and dropped their pants and we painted.
- 32:54Speaker 1: Describe the men. How many? Give me the physique.
- 32:56Speaker 8: Yeah, and we want like doppelgangers. So compare them to
- 32:59Speaker 8: like celebrities that we know. It was two guys, kind
- 33:02Speaker 8: of like, oh. Yeah, Abercrombie and Fitch type models.
- 33:06Speaker 2: Like Liam Hemsworth?
- 33:07Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 33:07Speaker 2: Liam Hemsworth. Not as tall.
- 33:10Speaker 1: She said models. Like models.
- 33:12Speaker 2: Like models. Like Ryan's right. Zero body fat.
- 33:14Speaker 1: And did you guys like... No, it wasn't. It was
- 33:17Speaker 1: just like.
- 33:18Speaker 2: Yeah, drop them. They made their... They picked their pose
- 33:21Speaker 2: and then you just... You look and you sketch and
- 33:23Speaker 2: you look and you sketch and you just.
- 33:24Speaker 1: It is totally, unconventionally, uncomfortably not okay for me to
- 33:31Speaker 1: have my wife go do that.
- 33:33Speaker 2: It was perfectly fine. I.
- 33:37Speaker 1: I don't think I would do it. When they dropped there.
- 33:39Speaker 2: I'm not the only wife there. There's like probably 30
- 33:41Speaker 2: of us there that were wives.
- 33:43Speaker 1: I have to say, Sisney, your falsetto is very defensive.
- 33:46Speaker 1: When they dropped whatever they dropped, what was underneath the drop? Nothing.
- 33:52Speaker 1: totally naked by.
- 33:54Speaker 6: The way this is not my first time doing this
- 33:58Speaker 6: i took a class like this in.
- 33:59Speaker 2: College i actually on campus.
- 34:02Speaker 1: Did this exact same thing this in love actually that's
- 34:05Speaker 1: the only time i've seen something like this in that.
- 34:08Speaker 2: I forget what i forget what scene that is yeah it's.
- 34:10Speaker 1: The scene where they're doing adult yeah but that is
- 34:13Speaker 1: like when they're talking to each other.
- 34:14Speaker 2: I mean We're not painting each other.
- 34:16Speaker 1: Do you have the art?
- 34:18Speaker 2: I have the art. I have it here. And I
- 34:20Speaker 2: think you guys are going to be really pleased with it.
- 34:22Speaker 2: And you're going to take back a lot of the
- 34:23Speaker 2: things that you said to me.
- 34:24Speaker 1: So you went to a birthday party. You painted naked
- 34:28Speaker 1: subjects who are young. It's much smaller. Don't show me first.
- 34:32Speaker 1: Show Mark. This is my painting.
- 34:36Speaker 8: Okay, it's a little bit more avant-garde than... Yes, it's
- 34:39Speaker 8: not graphic at all.
- 34:41Speaker 6: No, you see how it's not? I didn't go into
- 34:44Speaker 6: the detail of the anatomy.
- 34:45Speaker 1: You didn't even paint the anatomy, did you?
- 34:47Speaker 2: Well, I didn't need to. Like, that's art. Like, you
- 34:51Speaker 2: don't need to paint every side.
- 34:52Speaker 1: Don't lecture us on art. There's no face.
- 34:54Speaker 2: Did you notice there's no face on him either?
- 34:56Speaker 1: Yeah, because you weren't looking at his face. You were
- 34:58Speaker 1: looking at everything else. You probably didn't have a head.
- 35:01Speaker 1: You could have no head and you'd still paint the body.
- 35:03Speaker 2: Can you tell that he's sitting on a stool? I
- 35:05Speaker 2: can tell that he has a six pack.
- 35:06Speaker 1: Yeah, he did.
- 35:07Speaker 2: And pecs.
- 35:08Speaker 1: Do you talk to these guys?
- 35:10Speaker 2: Afterwards, yeah, they did a meet and greet and we
- 35:12Speaker 2: all took.
- 35:12Speaker 6: Pictures of them.
- 35:13Speaker 1: Did they put their jeans back on?
- 35:16Speaker 2: They wore Speedos after that for the meet and greet.
- 35:19Speaker 1: So they're basically strippers.
- 35:21Speaker 5: Sure.
- 35:22Speaker 2: What's wrong with that? Let them live their lives.
- 35:24Speaker 1: It's just a, for me, it is a strange.
- 35:28Speaker 2: Do you want this painting in your house?
- 35:30Speaker 1: Yeah. What I would like to do is put that
- 35:32Speaker 1: up on my fridge. And so cool.
- 35:36Speaker 2: Like it is.
- 35:37Speaker 1: Yeah. Actually from this distance, it could be me. It
- 35:42Speaker 1: could be.
- 35:43Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 35:43Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 35:44Speaker 1: It could be.
- 35:44Speaker 2: It could be you.
- 35:45Speaker 1: Sure.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Yeah. I think it's very avant-garde and very cool.
- 35:49Speaker 8: I think my issue was you seeing these naked men
- 35:53Speaker 8: frolicking around with their bits and pieces.
- 35:56Speaker 2: They weren't frolicking. They just took a pose.
- 35:59Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't know. I mean, good for you. What
- 36:02Speaker 1: a life you live. And that stool. Can I see
- 36:04Speaker 1: that stool? That's a great piece. Where can I get that?
- 36:08Speaker 1: I like the stool. I need a stool. So when
- 36:12Speaker 1: you got home to Michael, what was the conversation, the dialogue?
- 36:16Speaker 2: There was no dialogue. I just went straight to bed
- 36:19Speaker 2: because I went out after this.
- 36:22Speaker 1: Was there a favorite of the models?
- 36:25Speaker 6: No, but I will tell you guys, I was one
- 36:27Speaker 6: of the finalists for one of the best paintings, and
- 36:29Speaker 6: I got brought up on stage to be voted on,
- 36:32Speaker 6: and I lost to some dude whose painting was apparently
- 36:35Speaker 6: a little bit better than mine.
- 36:37Speaker 1: Was there conversation about strengths and weaknesses, pros and cons
- 36:43Speaker 1: of them, if you know what I mean? Like, were some...
- 36:47Speaker 1: stronger than others in certain categories if i.
- 36:49Speaker 6: Had to rank them yes one was stronger than the
- 36:54Speaker 6: other one i don't like any of it.
- 36:57Speaker 1: Oh i didn't think about it all weekend uncomfortable well
- 37:01Speaker 1: my mom said my mom called she goes did i
- 37:03Speaker 1: hear this right i said what she goes did cisney
- 37:07Speaker 1: go to a party to paint subjects and she was
- 37:10Speaker 1: not alarmed by it At all.
- 37:12Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 37:12Speaker 1: She just wanted clarification. She didn't think it was weird
- 37:16Speaker 1: at all.
- 37:17Speaker 2: It's professionalism, guys.
- 37:19Speaker 5: Come on. Be cool.
- 37:20Speaker 1: So would you do it again?
- 37:22Speaker 2: Not like tomorrow.
- 37:24Speaker 12: It's not professionalism because it wasn't.
- 37:26Speaker 2: Like work was making you do it. This was a choice.
- 37:29Speaker 1: Can we put that up somewhere?
- 37:31Speaker 2: I think so.
- 37:32Speaker 1: You are a talented abstract physique artist.
- 37:37Speaker 2: Thank you very much.
- 37:38Speaker 1: Welcome back. What a weekend you had. What a weekend, right?
- 37:42Speaker 1: I mean, that is so much better than me watching
- 37:44Speaker 1: the Kevin Hart movie on Netflix.
- 37:46Speaker 2: Although it was a cute movie, though.
- 37:48Speaker 1: It was cute. So everybody talking about the big festival
- 37:52Speaker 1: over the weekend, the Daisy Chain Fields Festival, 45,000 tickets.
- 37:56Speaker 1: It was a great, here was a great show. It
- 37:58Speaker 1: was not there, here was a great show, but hot.
- 38:00Speaker 6: Right.
- 38:01Speaker 1: The conversation was about traffic, long lines, and heat, but
- 38:05Speaker 1: the artists... apparently really delivered. And do you remember way
- 38:11Speaker 1: back before probably anybody in the back room was born,
- 38:13Speaker 1: there was something called the Lilith Fair. This was powerful,
- 38:17Speaker 1: talented singer, songwriter, female artist. This is kind of like
- 38:21Speaker 1: the Gen Z version of that is what people are saying.
- 38:25Speaker 5: Is it?
- 38:26Speaker 2: I love that.
- 38:27Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 38:28Speaker 1: That's what they're saying about it. So what do you know?
- 38:30Speaker 2: Well, it happened Saturday.
- 38:32Speaker 6: And I was a little bummed that Cat's Eye pulled out.
- 38:35Speaker 6: Because Cat's Eye pulled out Thursday before the festival due to,
- 38:38Speaker 6: was it Megan's sprained ankle?
- 38:40Speaker 1: Well, let's frame this. Olivia, right? This was her idea.
- 38:44Speaker 6: Olivia Rodrigo thought this up. She's like, I want to
- 38:46Speaker 6: create this festival, this all-woman festival. Yes, for charity, where
- 38:50Speaker 6: all the proceeds, 100% of the proceeds go to women charities.
- 38:55Speaker 1: Which is great.
- 38:55Speaker 6: Which is, yeah, women-focused, nonprofit organizations. And she got all
- 38:59Speaker 6: these artists. And it's really cool because she called them
- 39:01Speaker 6: personally herself to invite every single artist to come onto
- 39:04Speaker 6: this festival. And it wasn't like an email was sent out.
- 39:08Speaker 6: It was like she personally called every single artist.
- 39:10Speaker 2: Like, my agent's going to call your agent.
- 39:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 39:12Speaker 2: It wasn't that.
- 39:12Speaker 6: It was like Olivia picking up the phone and calling
- 39:15Speaker 6: Sarah McLachlan.
- 39:16Speaker 2: You know, like things like that.
- 39:17Speaker 6: And so she performed, Dochi performed, dozens of other artists.
- 39:22Speaker 6: Chapel Roan was there. And like I was saying, Cat's
- 39:24Speaker 6: Eye pulled out, but it went off without a hitch.
- 39:26Speaker 6: And she even brought out Alanis Morissette for Ironic. which
- 39:30Speaker 6: I think is so cool.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Yeah, just a combination of the different generations of artists.
- 39:37Speaker 1: And the biggest challenge was just the heat. Are we
- 39:38Speaker 1: done with the heat? Are we over the heat? I'm
- 39:41Speaker 1: heated out.
- 39:42Speaker 2: It's definitely not as hot this week as it was
- 39:44Speaker 2: last week. Yeah, it was cool this morning.
- 39:45Speaker 6: Yeah, we're like in the 80s throughout most parts of SoCal,
- 39:49Speaker 6: maybe low 90s if you're more inland.
- 39:51Speaker 2: And they're saying there might be rain later this week too.
- 39:54Speaker 1: People were saying about the festival that they loved it
- 39:57Speaker 1: and the artists were just incredible. But the longest set
- 40:01Speaker 1: was the set to wait in line to get your tacos.
- 40:04Speaker 1: That was the longest thing that was there was the
- 40:07Speaker 1: food line. And I think they're going to do it again.
- 40:11Speaker 2: I hope so.
- 40:11Speaker 1: She said they might do it again.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Yeah, she said. I think it's confirmed for 2027.
- 40:14Speaker 6: It raised $ 10 million for charity, and she brought out
- 40:17Speaker 6: Melinda Gates, who said that she's going to double it.
- 40:19Speaker 6: So it's $ 20 million going towards women-focused nonprofit organizations. And
- 40:24Speaker 6: I'll actually be chatting with Olivia Rodrigo tonight at 7
- 40:27Speaker 6: o'clock right here on KISS.
- 40:28Speaker 1: Will you show her your art that we were talking
- 40:30Speaker 1: about earlier? I mean, is that something you're going to
- 40:32Speaker 1: bring up? Olivia, would you go to a thing like this?
- 40:34Speaker 1: I'll ask her.
- 40:34Speaker 2: I'll ask her. No, don't ask her about that.
- 40:36Speaker 1: That's uncomfortable.
- 40:36Speaker 2: I'm talking about women-focused festivals.
- 40:39Speaker 1: Exactly. Not like making men. Not Nelson's birthday party with
- 40:43Speaker 1: the abstract anatomy picture, but it's very, very cool. It's
- 40:46Speaker 1: a great idea. And I do think like the Gen
- 40:48Speaker 1: Z version of that great, incredible Lilith Fair from so
- 40:51Speaker 1: many years ago. That's what this is.
- 40:53Speaker 2: I love that.
- 40:54Speaker 1: On air with Ryan Seacrest. Hi, Monday, August 31st. Temperatures bearable.
- 41:03Speaker 1: Temperatures doable. This morning in Southern California. So, Billie Eilish's brother, Phineas,
- 41:09Speaker 1: had a big weekend. Tanya, trending report.
- 41:11Speaker 5: Yes.
- 41:11Speaker 8: So, Phineas, he just married his longtime girlfriend, Claudia Salusky.
- 41:16Speaker 8: They got married Saturday in Montecito. The two met back
- 41:20Speaker 8: in 2018 on the dating app Raya. So, shout out
- 41:24Speaker 8: to the dating apps.
- 41:25Speaker 10: Okay.
- 41:25Speaker 8: But by the time they walked down the aisle, they'd
- 41:27Speaker 8: already been together for eight years. He proposed last September
- 41:31Speaker 8: during their seventh anniversary trip. Billie Eilish, his sister, officiated
- 41:36Speaker 8: the wedding, which was super, super cute. The guest list
- 41:40Speaker 8: was stacked to Justin and Hailey Bieber, Kristen Bell and
- 41:42Speaker 8: Dax Shepard, Jason Sudeikis, Emma Chamberlain, Nina Dobrev. But what
- 41:47Speaker 8: everybody's talking about is the eight years together. Some people
- 41:51Speaker 8: were saying eight years is way too long.
- 41:56Speaker 2: What do you think?
- 41:58Speaker 1: I disagree totally. I think if it works for you,
- 42:02Speaker 1: it's totally fine. You don't have to, you know, concede
- 42:07Speaker 1: to convention. And also, weren't they in their 20s when
- 42:10Speaker 1: they started to date?
- 42:11Speaker 2: Well, yeah, he's 29 now.
- 42:13Speaker 1: Okay, yeah. So if you're in your early 20s and
- 42:17Speaker 1: you start to date, 20s are different. If I started
- 42:20Speaker 1: to date somebody at my age, eight years is a
- 42:22Speaker 1: long time to wait to propose. But I think in
- 42:24Speaker 1: the 20s. It's no big deal.
- 42:26Speaker 2: I agree with you with it being the 20s. And also,
- 42:28Speaker 2: it's just different for every single couple.
- 42:29Speaker 1: It is true. And as I've said before, you do
- 42:33Speaker 1: not want to take too many steps that are permanent
- 42:36Speaker 1: before you really do your due diligence and understand who
- 42:40Speaker 1: this human being is. And if it takes eight years,
- 42:44Speaker 1: it takes eight years. It's fine. Tanya, why are you
- 42:48Speaker 1: laughing at me? If you're in your 20s. But, you know,
- 42:52Speaker 1: some people don't feel the pressure to rush and they
- 42:55Speaker 1: should not.
- 42:56Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 42:56Speaker 1: If they are happy and it works, who cares what
- 42:59Speaker 1: everybody else says and what they've done in their situation?
- 43:02Speaker 2: I would like to know. I mean, we'll never know.
- 43:04Speaker 8: I would like to know if at some point after
- 43:06Speaker 8: a certain amount of years, she was like, okay, dude, like,
- 43:08Speaker 8: I just want to know.
- 43:09Speaker 2: Probably.
- 43:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Is this happening or is this not happening? I'm sure
- 43:14Speaker 2: they had that conversation.
- 43:15Speaker 1: It probably came up, but they were comfortable. They were
- 43:18Speaker 1: in love and they didn't need to rush it. I'm,
- 43:21Speaker 1: I like that it took them that long to get
- 43:24Speaker 1: to know each other. I'm fine with that, to get
- 43:26Speaker 1: to know each other. What's the longest run you've known
- 43:30Speaker 1: someone to have before they proposed? Three years, four years,
- 43:34Speaker 1: five years? I mean, it's a long run.
