Transcript
- 0:00Oh, summertime is here, and that means a lot of youngsters. God,
- 0:03I sound one hundred, don't I what you do? A lot of
- 0:06youngsters are getting there summer jobs. And I remember just growing up and every
- 0:11summer's like, oh what are you gonna do? You gotta make a few
- 0:13bucks a summer, especially in college. So I want to know, like,
- 0:16what was the best and what was the worst summer job you ever had?
- 0:20Please share seven oh one two eight zero one ninety eighty seven for me,
- 0:23Amanda. I think I've made it clear. Best summer I ever had
- 0:26was working for Morehead Public Service painting the fire hydrants around the city of Morehead
- 0:31because there was zero painting getting done and you were napping in the truck.
- 0:35Hey, that is true. You've admitted that numerous times. Here was the
- 0:38beautiful part about that, And if you're listening at more Public Service right now,
- 0:42I'd just like to apologize for really wasting the city's dollars. Because my
- 0:46friend and I we applied together and we both got the job. That's kind
- 0:49of the thing, don't you remember, It's like, Okay, what are
- 0:51you doing? How can we spend more time together? That kind of thing.
- 0:54Oh, it was great. I mean, they hired two guys.
- 0:55They happened to happen to hire us two friends, and so they just gave
- 0:59us as old beat or truck supposed to drive around the town and paint the
- 1:03hydrants that didn't look very red red. And it started out as like,
- 1:07Okay, we'll try to get like ten a day. That was realistic because
- 1:11you had to grind down the paint with a grinder, then prime them,
- 1:15and then paint then once that dried. And it went from doing that to
- 1:19maybe, ah, this one doesn't need to be grinded, and then eventually
- 1:22he's like, daan, do we really need to prime it? Who cares
- 1:25to just lazily slapping paint on these hydrants? Wow? And then eventually we
- 1:29were just taking naps in the truck, parking under a shaded tree in the
- 1:34Village Green neighborhood. And it turned to be probably the best summer job.
- 1:38And at the time ten bucks an hour was nothing to sneeze at. So,
- 1:41yeah, no, that was great. What about you, it was
- 1:42your favorite summer join? You know, I was going through I really haven't
- 1:45had many jobs just in general. Yeah, I was a softball coach for
- 1:49summer Wreck, which that's always a good one. That was so fun,
- 1:52But I have to tell you that was like gonna be my But I was
- 1:56a beer cart girl. First job was at Thumber Pond, and then in
- 1:59college I was a beer or cart girl at a country club forever until I
- 2:01got into radio. Those were like my two big jobs. I had a
- 2:04stinted Applebee's as a hostess, and I don't want to say that was my
- 2:07worst job, but since I've only had a few, I just really struggled
- 2:12with like the hostess stand. And you seem like, I mean, you
- 2:15were a radio host, you couldn't handle being an Appleby's host. Welcome to
- 2:17Applebee's. How many like I did all of that? You just kept trying
- 2:22to give them the forecast funny in seventy two, like no, Amanda,
- 2:24you're supposed to seat them, No, but like figuring out where they were
- 2:29seated. And I just remember there was probably five people who were probably ten
- 2:32years older than me that had worked at Applebee's for so long, and they
- 2:37were all a click and there's something about the restaurant business, and it was
- 2:40like you seat them here and they had worked here in the seniority and I
- 2:45just felt like I was being bribed and you have to sit in somebody section
- 2:47and I was stressful. Well that's a stress when you like do a summer
- 2:51job and there's people that have been working there. There's always that no matter
- 2:54what job it is, there's always like that dynet like the politics of it,
- 2:58like yes, clicking of it. Oh my god. I worked at
- 3:00the golf course for a summer and it was like the most clique like immature.
- 3:06I just I'm just trying to work at a golf It's funny you say
- 3:07that, because working at the country club in Colorado that I did for six
- 3:13years, we were I worked year round with like five of us girls,
- 3:16so we did everything all year long. So the members were great to us
- 3:21because we were always there. But you'd get these little hot girls coming down
- 3:24from you know, see you Denver or whatever and trying to be on the
- 3:29beer cart and they just didn't last. It was like, no, you're
- 3:32not a part, you're not a part of the group. We try to
- 3:35run out. We were are you kidding me? The money we were making?
- 3:39You know what mean, we just weren't, you know, as a
- 3:42golf helping them fill up their carts where normally'd be like, okay, you're
- 3:45coming around because you got to make sure you're getting that turn, getting where
- 3:47everybody was at. Uh yeah, know where to drive? Also when to
- 3:51stop. That's key as a golfer, you know, like you can't come
- 3:53up to us as we're getting off the green on A part three because now
- 3:57you got people waiting for you and you look like idiots. You knew that.
- 4:00I know everything about it. And trust me, I knew mister Johnson
- 4:02needed the vod Ca lemonade on whole A. Are you kidding me? I
- 4:06knew everything. Mister Bradley, that guy needed a milky way on whole three.
- 4:12Car girls, they're always so friendly. It's almost like they that those
- 4:16islands you really do. They shouldn't know. What they should do is they
- 4:20should let the golfers vote on the golf court. They should do an audition
- 4:24at the beginning of the summer, like about your driving skills or what things
- 4:30we just mentioned all the things. There's the ability to know where you're at,
- 4:33where you should be, how strong do you pour the vodka lemonade?
- 4:38All good questions, so we can all agree. Probably one of the better
- 4:41jobs and I actually posted it on Facebook. Big Nadea puttings up his Facebook
- 4:45page. Feel free to time in. There's about five or six girls going
- 4:46beer cart girl. And I've always said, if today our CEO came in
- 4:50was like, you know, this job isn't for you anymore, I would
- 4:53be at a local golf course and you would see me hopefully hopefully I still
- 4:57got it. You'd be on a beer cart. You would do well.
- 5:00I love it. I mean when they show me that iPad, just fifteen,
- 5:02twenty or twenty five percent, I'm doing twenty five every time. Oh,
- 5:05no, technology has changed. I don't know how to use that iPod.
- 5:08I'm more of an android. I would recommend it to anybody. Anybody
- 5:11who asked, oh, I need a job, I'm like, well,
- 5:13I'd be a beer cart girl. That's like, it's obvious to me.
- 5:15What about you, though? What it was your best summer job or maybe
- 5:18your worst summer job? Seven on one two eight zero, one ninety eight
- 5:21seven A minute in the morning, Big ninety eight point seven, here's an
- 5:26idea. If you are in the dating world and you're thinking, I am
- 5:28a busy professional, I've got my own stuff going on. I don't have
- 5:30time to be going on date after date with one guy at the time.
- 5:34Here's an idea, one guy at a time. Exactly. You really got
- 5:39my attention there, because what else would you do? Well, here's what
- 5:42you would do. Man, what Only Fans creator Annie Knight is doing.
- 5:46She's gone viral for this little experiment she had. You have a lot of
- 5:49OnlyFans content these days? Are you all up on it? I have the
- 5:53premium membership, so of course, I mean, I just want to throw
- 5:57it out there. I got an email answer you like, gosh, this
- 5:59bike guy about OnlyFans every other break. I mean, you gotta get your
- 6:01money's worth. But this lady, it was interesting. She decided to go
- 6:05on Hinge, which is a dating app, and that's like the cool new
- 6:10bumble right. They're all the same to me. I don't know. You
- 6:14meet people and you meet up in person. That's that's what they are,
- 6:17like this one. So she finds six different guys individually, starts chatting with
- 6:23them, gets to the point, right, Hey, why don't we go
- 6:25on a little to date. So she tells all six guys, doesn't where
- 6:29to meet, but she doesn't tell them that there will be five other gentlemen
- 6:33joining them as well. I'm here for this. This is gold. Okay.
- 6:38So she was curious to see how the guys would react in this very
- 6:41much bachelorette like situation. And uh, when they did show up, she
- 6:46said, there was some mixed reactions. Okay. She said two of them
- 6:50were less than comfortable, two were actually quite visibly angry and left immediately.
- 6:57Four of them, however, of the six, did end up stand and
- 7:00they all hung out together. She said she knew that she would be able
- 7:03to vibe with each of them individually, but she was really wanting to see
- 7:08if they could all vibe together. So is she trying to get like together
- 7:13with going on what would be not sister wives? What would be the other?
- 7:17Just a little polygamy? There's other words I can't say that would describe
- 7:23it. I suppose got it. Yep, No, it seems like she
- 7:25was looking still for one. But again, like I said, you're busy.
- 7:27I mean, how much time and money would it take to go on
- 7:29six different dates? Why not knock them all it at once? But imagine
- 7:32thinking you're such a treat that no, you can do something like this.
- 7:36She said that it was interesting. She found that the guys wanted to try
- 7:40and outdo another. Well duh, they're like viuing for your attention. Also,
- 7:44does she say did she go on a second date? Did she hand
- 7:46out roses? How did it come to an end? This is the most
- 7:49recent update. There was no roses. I'm guessing she's just gonna, you
- 7:53know, base how she proceeds on how well they did well? And it
- 7:56kind of sounds like the balls in her court, which is so weird.
- 7:59Her balls are in her quarter? Like why would what would you do in
- 8:01that situation? You wouldn't you just turn around? Or would you kind of
- 8:05be like, all right, all right, girl, let's see what are
- 8:07we doing here? I look at the other fellas. Okay, all right,
- 8:11what you got? Were doing this? Now in the morning? Now
- 8:16Ada stills the seat. Let's see Bronco by part Company Real Tours. Well,
- 8:22we have got some breaking news from CNN. They're reporting that Diddy's legal
- 8:26troubles are getting even worse, as a grand jury has reportedly been in paneled
- 8:30to hear evidence in his federal probe. Now that's breaking news. It is
- 8:33because they are now saying, why did so I hate to waste that music?
- 8:37You know it's breaking news. Hey, well then we're the first ones
- 8:41breaking this newsdvcating that he could face a possible criminal indictment. Now, the
- 8:48Justice Department is moving forward on its investigation by notifying witnesses that they can testify
- 8:52before this grand jury. Some of the potential witnesses, obviously would be his
- 8:56accusers who have filed against him for sexual assault, human trafficking, other serious
- 9:01offenses. So far, did he has been named in eight different lawsuits,
- 9:03homeland security investigations. Their agents are taking time, and they're being very thorough
- 9:09and this is why it's taking a little bit longer. But they're making sure
- 9:13that it's a bulletproof case cour so nothing gets dropped. Yeah, a lot
- 9:16of people get frustrated. It's like, whoa, we have this video.
- 9:18Why are we not just throwing them in jail? It's like, well,
- 9:20this, you know, justice is a what is it called? What do
- 9:24they say something about how slow justice moves? Regardless? The point being it's
- 9:30slow. Well, and unfortunately that video that we saw, he's not going
- 9:33to be able to be charged with that because it was from a while.
- 9:37Yeah, run, which is unfortunate, but it also at some point you
- 9:41feel like you can use that in some way, shape or form. You
- 9:43would think. So Meanwhile, I know there is a phrase I'm trying to
- 9:46think of seven one two eight h one ninety eight seven, something about justice
- 9:50moving slow and slower and wins the race. I'm going to look it up.
- 9:54But I know we do have breaking Pete Davidson news. This is not
- 9:58breaking news. I just feel bad for the guy. Fans were at his
- 10:01Omaha show on Friday night, and I don't know if it's a part of
- 10:05a TikTok challenger what's going on, but there were a bunch of people just
- 10:07heckling him and it got so bad security couldn't handle it, and he just
- 10:13walked off the stage and didn't come back. I mean, imagine that You're
- 10:16excited you're going to the show and then you just have a bunch of tools
- 10:18heckling the entire time. I'm actually kind of proud of him. I wouldn't
- 10:22come back either. I believe justice is a dish best served cold is maybe
- 10:30what I was thinking of. That's what you were thinking. I think that's
- 10:35not what you were thinking. I think he looked up justice phrases and I
- 10:39think, no, that came to my mind. I typed injustices served?
- 10:43So where did the slow come from? Bike? Well, I think the
- 10:45reason it's cold, the best served cold is because it takes a while,
- 10:48so it's gonna it's not gonna be hot. You know what I'm saying?
- 10:52Got it? Is there some beef going on with Billie Eilish and Taylor Swift.
- 10:58I not feeling like there's some shade being thrown here. Billie Eilish said,
- 11:03and I quote, I'm not doing a three hour show that's literally psychotic.
- 11:07Nobody wants that. You guys don't want that. I don't want that.
- 11:11I don't even want that as a fan my favorite artists in the world.
- 11:15I'm not trying to hear him for three hours. That's far too long.
- 11:18I mean, the only person I can think of that she's thrown shade
- 11:22at is Taylor Swift, who has an amazing three hour show and she's doing
- 11:26this pretty much every night. Bike. Are you still with me? I
- 11:30think there's gotta be a different quote I'm thinking of about justice, Wheels of
- 11:33justice, grind, slow but grind, fine, God, that could be
- 11:37it. I think she might be taking a shot. I mean, she
- 11:41she seems like a nice girl, and I can't imagine she'd be wanting to
- 11:45start a feud with Taylor Swift. But then again, it's like, you
- 11:46gotta think before you speak when you say that, and I totally agree with
- 11:50her. Three hour shows are crazy. Even bands I like, I find
- 11:54myself getting sort of like, okay, it's because the average you had mentioned
- 11:56is like what ninety minute for a big headliner like Blink Win eighty two won't
- 12:01play more than ninety minutes, and that's about as big of a band as
- 12:03you can get. What is a low standards? What you're said at Happy
- 12:05Harry's Ripest next week, there's a different category. No, that's what Happy
- 12:09Harri's Ripfest. Thank you for asking. Amanda will be opening for Eve six
- 12:13roughly an hour cent, which for us is nothing because when you play at
- 12:16bars, when I'm playing at Murphy's or Wear Dempsey's, it's four hours,
- 12:22you know you're the entertainment for the night. Four hours of Billie Eilish was
- 12:26clearly talking smack about ls. You don't know that you mentioned shots fired.
- 12:31It's all on Billions, Amanda in the morning on Big seven. I cannot
- 12:37stress enough the life changing opportunity that you have. Okay, can you can
- 12:41you calm down a little? I mean it's a great experience, it is,
- 12:46but a life changing opportunity. I don't think there's an understatement to say,
- 12:50because at seven to eleven your chance to win your way into the Low
- 12:54Standards Experience brought to you by Happy Harry's at Happy Harry's Ripfest next Friday,
- 13:00as my band Low Standards is opening for Eve six. Now, this is
- 13:05an exclusive VIP experience that you'll have. You'll be able to be in the
- 13:07Happy Harry's tent, you know, the one you walk by when you're at
- 13:11Happy Harry's Ridfest thinking what do I gotta do to get in there? With
- 13:16a dustin himself out? Yes, it brings delicious cocktails. Of course the
- 13:20band is gonna be in there. I'm told possible photo op hang on egg
- 13:24on love Opportunities. Let me see if I can confirm. Hey, Bike,
- 13:28Yes, are you a part of the band Low Standards? Oh?
- 13:31Correct? Are you going to be in the tent and Happy Aria's rip Fest?
- 13:33Well I will be yes, got it? Now, there are four
- 13:37other guys and I know a lot of people. It's kind of like It's
- 13:39kind of like n SYNC back in the day. Everybody had a favorite member,
- 13:43you know. Okay, Now, I hope Cody is gonna be in.
- 13:46I was gonna say, or do you think you're like Justin Timberlake or
- 13:48j C. Or I think I'm kind of Joey Fatone, to be honest.
- 13:52So but you know, it's all personal preference. Everybody had their own
- 13:56flavor. Okay, every morning this week in next for your chance to win
- 14:01your way in and Amanda, while things are going great for me obviously opening
- 14:05for Eve six, you had you had a bad day yesterday, didn't you.
- 14:09You know it was a wild one. I'll tell you that. Uh,
- 14:13you know, trying to get to the dentist, and I go out
- 14:16to the back park came. I know I had to go to the dentist,
- 14:18which great loser twice a year. I'm no Cavity is Cavity Free club
- 14:24anyway, I really want to check in with the old dentists. Give it
- 14:26a try there, boy. So go out to my vehicle, and thankfully,
- 14:33because I'm terrible, I never look at my tires. I wouldn't have
- 14:35known my tire pressure light. Same. You just gotta trust that they're there.
- 14:39You trust their they're not flat and they're gonna be ready to roll.
- 14:43But my tire pressure light went on and it was like at a fourteen and
- 14:46I'm going, oh boy, Like I can't even drive that down the road
- 14:50to Goodyear Shoemaker because that's going to wreck the rim. So I had to
- 14:56get a ride home to get my husband's truck to get to the dentist.
- 15:00And then I'm like, well, what am I going to do? My
- 15:01husband? What a gem? He gets off work yesterday, loads up the
- 15:05air compressor, comes over here, finds the nail in this tire, blows
- 15:09it on up. I mean, just just a stud I know that he
- 15:16did all that for me. He owns his and he owns his very own
- 15:18air compressor. Yeah, that's thankful, to be fair. Our old neighbors
- 15:26just gave it to him when they were moving. They were just like,
- 15:28we don't want to carry this big old thing out. It's such a clutching
- 15:30to have at home. Absolutely my dad than anything. Oh yeah, for
- 15:33all sorts of things, including another milestone in the Linder household. Yesterday,
- 15:39we get home and Sydney out of nowhere. She's like, I want my
- 15:43training wheels off. Wow, Dad takes the training wheels off, and I'm
- 15:48just thinking she no, no, no, no, because this is not
- 15:50my thing. I hate watching kids fall. There's nothing worse than a scraped
- 15:54knee, you know. But I'm like, hey, you just got to
- 15:56do it, like we're kids of the eighties nineties, like just roll,
- 16:00you gotta figure it out. I remember when my dad taught me to ride
- 16:03a bike. I probably fell five or six times, and then you figure
- 16:06it out. That's why you started the grass. I remember riding in the
- 16:07front yard. So that was the plan. We were thinking, Oh,
- 16:11we'll do it at the lake because there's more grass instead of you know,
- 16:14right here on the sidewalk. So impressed, use that air compressor again to
- 16:18pump up her tires perfect. He goes down to the end of the driveway.
- 16:22He starts pushing her, running beside her and is like pedal fast,
- 16:26pedal fast. She ran into like one of those little electrical boxes one time,
- 16:32Oh happened, which is nice, and fell into the grass. Did
- 16:34it again and she got it. No, she was like riding to the
- 16:37park. I could not believe it. And she was so proud and she
- 16:41looks at me and it's a trend in our household these days. Good grief
- 16:45mom, good grief mom. Let me guess you're gonna cry. I'm not
- 16:51gonna cry. I'm just like so proud of you. It's just like the
- 16:53look on her face. And then the car's a proud dad moment too,
- 16:56with yeah she got that, you're off. It's like, oh, I
- 17:00got it. This is it. It's like when you a bird first flies
- 17:03away, it's like, oh, now you can Okay. Yet she's still
- 17:07on the way back from the park, wants a little push or whatever,
- 17:08and you know there'll be some She did get a few scratches and here and
- 17:11there. By next time she'll be great, Like now she can ride a
- 17:14bike. That's big. That's big stuff, big stuff. And then you
- 17:17know Briggsy he's he'll be four at the end of or in September. So
- 17:22he is like, okay, I'm ready for my training wheels to come off.
- 17:25I know. So we tried, and he starts going, falls right
- 17:30over, looks, grabs a bike, pushes it and goes, I hate
- 17:33this bike. We're like, oh, buddy, no, it's the it's
- 17:37not and he's like and he just huffed and puffed me like it's okay,
- 17:41and he goes, nope, just put my training wheels back on. So
- 17:42yeah, and we're like, you can go faster than your sister now,
- 17:47So well, what a day it really was? What a big day?
- 17:49Well, bad day that turned into a good one. It was. Yeah,
- 17:52nothing like the low standards experience though, but you know it's this will
- 17:56do in my five like in a minute in the morning, a big nutty
- 18:02eight point seven oh. Summertime is here, which means summer jobs for a
- 18:06lot of people. A lot of good ones out there, a lot of
- 18:07bad ones. We're talking about the worst and best of your summer job experience.
- 18:11Seven to one two eight oh one ninety eight seven. Good morning.
- 18:15I enjoyed the time being an umpire. You can start the like thirteen years
- 18:18of age in the farm Ward area and then there's umpire baseball. Enjoy a
- 18:23game. The only downside that makes it somewhat of a worst job is when
- 18:27the parents, right, yeah, it's always a case, trust me.
- 18:33Yeah, I was umpiring two back in the day, like literally as a
- 18:34teenager, and it's just pathetic some of these parents, you know, and
- 18:38it's hard, like you got to do it when you're young, though,
- 18:40because it's real hard on the knees, crouching behind on bright like that.
- 18:44Trust me, I still do it. It's a job that Phil lingers.
- 18:47How are you knies feeling? Oh yeah, that's a that's brutal. It's
- 18:52not a bad set of knees. Huh great, thanks for calling me.
- 18:56Appreciate Jah, take care. I think it's anything that's outside we were talking
- 18:59about. You worked at a golf course. Of course, I did the
- 19:02the beer cart girl stuff. But Tessa, she chimed in on our Facebook
- 19:04page, said best job summer camp counselor oh yeah, spending time at the
- 19:08lake. Also, I had a couple of girlfriends and family members who were
- 19:11at inspiration point. What's that Bible camp over in? Uh? Like the
- 19:15Lakes area? So campy Mais. I'm sure what's that one? Are you
- 19:19unfamiliar with campy Maas? I don't think I know about it. Everybody I
- 19:22knew. I feel like there's a rite of passage. As a kid in
- 19:25Minnesota, you had to go to campy Maas. I think that's up by
- 19:26like I want to say, like park rapids or something. When you're young,
- 19:30you don't really know where you're at. I went up to the United
- 19:33Methodist Church camp which was up in Boring Park Rapids, Northern Northern Point,
- 19:41I know, Inspiration Point and then it was like northern something. But it
- 19:45was so fun. Oh well it was fun for the kids. But it
- 19:48seems like counselors. And how many people do you talk to that got together
- 19:52with somebody at a camp like they were counselors together. Yeah, I'm making
- 19:55that up. It feels like they're spending together. You would think, yeah,
- 19:57yeah, Somemmr's like Summer Live. I mean, as dumb as it
- 20:03is, but you think of like strawberry wine, you like, go back
- 20:06to old dze harder. Yeah. As a kid, Oh my god,
- 20:08yeah, you was just like gosh, you just never know. It was
- 20:11like what can this is? Unstare fresh meat? Are you gonna see that?
- 20:15What a disgusting way to phrase it. We were having a really wholesome
- 20:18moment and you come in here with fresh meat trending. Now here's what you
- 20:22need to know. I mean, I was kind of secretly hoping they were
- 20:26going to lose last night because we're staying up way past our bedtime for these
- 20:30tea Wolves games. I know, I'm being honest. What did you just
- 20:33say? I know, but the fans they pulled through the tea Wolves are
- 20:38able to keep their hopes alive one oh five to one hundred last night against
- 20:42Dallas. Now they're headed back to the Target Center. Game five is tomorrow
- 20:45night, seven thirty, and then if they win there, they're going back
- 20:51to Dallas. Well one game at a time. But yeah, now,
- 20:52so the seven game series go two at home, two away, and then
- 20:56one one one. Yeah, which you know they got home court advantage.
- 21:00So listen, win this game and they can. They've been in every game.
- 21:03In fact, they've blown the first three. Those are those games their
- 21:07games to win. Finally, to get to win anything can happen. It
- 21:10would be the first time ever a team has come back from three zero in
- 21:12the in the conference finals. Really, I thought you said that this was
- 21:15in a championship Lebron and the Towns came back, got you? Okay?
- 21:19So god, I hope so, But I did the math, and the
- 21:22last night would be the fifteenth playoff game they've played in the last month or
- 21:26so. So it's a lot of late nights, a lot of a lot
- 21:30of bar tabs. Did you go out last night. I thought you see,
- 21:33I watched the first half at the bar with a friend. Yeah,
- 21:37I wasn't gonna but got the invite, and I mean it was nice to
- 21:38be out, I know, all right. After weeks of testimony and an
- 21:41eleven hour a day of closing arguments, the legal fate of former President Trump
- 21:45and the hush money trial will be handed to the jury today, So at
- 21:48ten am this morning, and the judge will give the jury instructions and that'll
- 21:52take about an hour and then they're off to do their duty. That's right
- 21:59there, They their civic duty. Yes, good luck, boys and girls.
- 22:04I can't imagine being in that situation. I really truly can't. Yeah,
- 22:10I'm guessing you wouldn't have made it through the jury. Nope. Selection
- 22:12always pull that. Oh I'm in the media. That gets you right out
- 22:17of it. Nice, all right. A new Costco partnership with Uber Eats
- 22:21is one of several new Uber features that's gonna roll out this month, and
- 22:23it allows Uber users to shop Costco via the app and no membership is necessary.
- 22:29This is wild. I don't like it because as a member, a
- 22:32recent member, an executive member. Always nice, that's a good one to
- 22:36be. I don't like that other people are allowed to do it's members only.
- 22:40Sorry. Well, And it was interesting because I was reading this and
- 22:42it said they're doing this because a lot of costcos don't offer same day delivery
- 22:48ours? Does I use that often? Because I can't go into costco?
- 22:51I have zero self control between is hard the hot dog? The hot dog
- 22:56at the end and just like all the things, I'm really just not alive.
- 23:00AD's up quick. You gotta be disciplined, right, all right?
- 23:03Today beautiful sunshine high of seventy two. Pike it a Manda in the morning
- 23:07from one up on Big eighty seven. You say we're just friends, and
- 23:14I'll stop. You're probably wondering. It's Pike and Amand in the morning,
- 23:15by the way in Big nineteen point seven. What is this just catchy hook?
- 23:21What is the hook of poppy or local band? Low standards? The
- 23:25band I'm in, Amanda. We're opening for Eve six next Friday at Happy
- 23:26Harry's Ridfest with Happy Harry's in the VIP tent. We're offering a low standards
- 23:32experience. I heard. I know you're being rather sarcastic about it. Not
- 23:36I'm excited, I believe it or not. Some people I think are actually
- 23:38excited. And we have one on the phone now, I wonder who it
- 23:41is? Good morning? Who's this Darcy? Darcy? What are you doing?
- 23:45I'm supposed to be working, but if anything's going to stop you from
- 23:49work, and it's a VIP experience for LS, I mean, some things
- 23:53are just more important than provided for your way. Darcy, I got good
- 23:57news. You are callar nine. Oh my god, are you wondering what
- 24:02you want? I won the VIP experience with Low Standards. Yeah gosh,
- 24:07I mean you know, can you even I'm so excited. I mean,
- 24:11listen, Darcy, here's the deal. Before we open for EVE six,
- 24:15it's gonna be an incredible show. A lot of people are going to be
- 24:18talking about, you know, where were you when Low Standards open EEP six?
- 24:21Well, Darcy, you'll be at the VIP party beforehand in the Happy
- 24:25Harry's tenth. We'll be having some drinks roubn elbows with the boys. Are
- 24:29you for real? Man? I can't teeth, Louise, I'm going to
- 24:33be talking about this when you guys make it big, I'm gonna say I
- 24:37partied with Darcy I'm sorry, make it big. Did you hear the part
- 24:41where I said we're opening for Eve six at Happy Harry's Ripfest? I met
- 24:45make it bigger, right, like when you're like blink style? Yeah?
- 24:52Yes, yes, fair enough, Darcy. I can't wait to see you
- 24:56and a guest will be joining us for the Low Standards experience. Congratulations,
- 25:00Thank you A minute in the morning, Big Natty eight points seven. You
- 25:03ever get angry? Do you ever feel like you just need to let it
- 25:06out? Oh? Totally? Yeah? That's a human nature, isn't it.
- 25:08How do you let it out? So I'm really weird? I degree
- 25:12yea. If I'm going. If I'm like angry, cry, I take
- 25:18a shower. Crying in the shower, for some reason, is just like
- 25:21a release for me. Really very odd. I've heard a lot about the
- 25:25shower crying. Yeah, it's bizarre. I don't know what it is.
- 25:27It's just you don't have to worry about your makeup. Yeah, I guess
- 25:30that's something. But there's just something like the hot water. I don't know,
- 25:33it's just like a release. You're a wet that helps. I don't
- 25:37know. No, I don't turn the water on. I just go curl
- 25:40up in the shower. I'm kidding. Okay, what women though, Amanda,
- 25:44you can get in on this. If you've been feeling a bit of
- 25:47rage, you've been sort of internalizing it. Women are paying up to eight
- 25:49thousand dollars. You already tap me out. I'm not paying eight grand.
- 25:55Wait to hear what you get paying eight thousand dollars on rage rituals that include
- 26:02screaming, ceremonies and breaking things. Now, this is a woman named Mia
- 26:07who is hosting these rage rituals, some of them even being overnight excursions in
- 26:11places like France. They have a place like this in Fargo. No,
- 26:17it's not what I'm talking about, though, but they have like that.
- 26:18I think it's called like the habit. But these are like ceremonies that you
- 26:25can pay to be with other women, because this lady says, you know,
- 26:27women, there's really no place you're able to, you know, be
- 26:32angry like that and not be condemned, not have men going, oh,
- 26:34she's just hormonal. Oh she's just unhinged. She's crazy. She must be
- 26:40in that time of the month for her. Yeah, all things you should
- 26:42never tell a woman. I would never, I wouldn't let me go on
- 26:48record, this isn't for me. I feel like when you want to deal
- 26:51with like your rage, it's not you will like vent to somebody, whether
- 26:53it be your significant other or you're you know, somebody close to you.
- 26:57I feel like that's enough. I don't think I've ever been so aggressively angry
- 27:02that I've wanted to Well, right, I have and for sure. But
- 27:04that's the thing. It's like, Okay, you pay the money, you
- 27:07go on this retreat. It's hard to bring that anger back up. It's
- 27:11got to be in the moment. You know, if I stub my toe
- 27:12on the end of the bed like I would, yeah, I would pay
- 27:15a lot for a rage room in that moment. But then but definitely go
- 27:18on with it and then oh, we'll see you in ten days. You
- 27:22don't think you could get back that feeling. They well, then they say
- 27:25that you just have to bring up like old feelings of rage. So I'd
- 27:27have to sit there and go all right, remember that bad. This would
- 27:30feel more. I mean, I know you were trying to be funny with
- 27:33this. I was stub your toe. It was not funny. The only
- 27:37thing I could see is if you were cheated on or done dirty, or
- 27:41like going through something like that, like very tumultuous, icky that like that
- 27:47feeling just doesn't go away for a while and you can't get rid of it.
- 27:49Then I think this would be a situation to like release. Like so
- 27:53you're saying, not petty little things like stubbing your toe. I mean,
- 27:56that's not gonna do it for me. But wouldn't this do it for you?
- 27:59She says that these rituals include things like screaming in the woods and beating
- 28:03sticks onto the ground. No. I think for me, I would spend
- 28:07the eight grand on an all inclusive six nights, yeah, seven days on
- 28:11a beach, slurp and margarita's. But then cat Bana boy asking me if
- 28:15I want more chips and salsa. That's going to make me happy. But
- 28:18then you couldn't beat a stick on the ground. I probably I could go
- 28:21splash in the pool, I could go throw sand in the ocean. It's
- 28:26not what s
