- 0:02Speaker 1: With Alexia Napola and Marissa Patton, an iHeartRadio podcast. Hey everyone, Hi.
- 0:09Speaker 2: We are in New York City, freezing our butts off.
- 0:12Speaker 1: Oh my god, it's so cold. It's snowing outside.
- 0:15Speaker 2: Yes, but we brought the winter whites from Miami. We
- 0:19Speaker 2: did this, look, did we No, we didn't, but we
- 0:22Speaker 2: always coordinate that way. It's accidental always.
- 0:25Speaker 1: It's so much fun to be here though, bro right,
- 0:28Speaker 1: it's so much fun.
- 0:29Speaker 2: We love New York City. Thank you to all of
- 0:32Speaker 2: our fans here in New York City. I know Miami
- 0:35Speaker 2: is working on that, so we.
- 0:38Speaker 1: Stop. We are. Yes, no, it's not.
- 0:42Speaker 2: I don't throw digs. You're the one that throws the
- 0:44Speaker 2: digs on our show. I don't tell you were in
- 0:45Speaker 2: your face yea. So anyways, welcome to I Put Fallowed
- 0:53Speaker 2: right from New York City at the Comrade Hotel. Live
- 0:57Speaker 2: from New York City is Alexia.
- 0:59Speaker 1: And yeah, and it's Tuesday night, Okay, does that matter
- 1:06Speaker 1: the weekend?
- 1:07Speaker 2: From New York City, it's Saturday night.
- 1:09Speaker 1: Oh oh, I know.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Thank you for that, my friend. Well, okay, welcome anyways, guys.
- 1:15Speaker 2: We have a lot of interesting questions that you guys
- 1:18Speaker 2: have been asking and you want us to answer. So
- 1:22Speaker 2: why did we start with.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Fans questions day on the podcast? Okay, what's the first question, Alexe?
- 1:29Speaker 2: Well, we have to tell them that we really love
- 1:31Speaker 2: to hear our fans and we really love the questions
- 1:34Speaker 2: they have to ask us.
- 1:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah, So here's our first question.
- 1:40Speaker 1: What are three things you and Marisol would say or
- 1:43Speaker 1: I must have in a friendship.
- 1:46Speaker 2: That's easy, that's pretty easy.
- 1:48Speaker 1: You need to be loyal. I need to be able
- 1:50Speaker 1: to trust you, trustworthy one hundred percent. Yeah, you mean
- 1:54Speaker 1: you you'll know like after a few years if you
- 1:56Speaker 1: share some info and it gets repeated that yeah, there's
- 1:59Speaker 1: no trust there, and then that is like that's like,
- 2:01Speaker 1: you're out. It's done. They get the campy can't flirt
- 2:06Speaker 1: with your man? Okay, No, I don't like Boo Bear.
- 2:09Speaker 1: I mean I like him for you, not for me.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I'm talking to me, not talking about you. I'm talking
- 2:13Speaker 1: about friendships. Okay, you looked at me and you said
- 2:16Speaker 1: you can't flirt with you. I was looking at you
- 2:19Speaker 1: would agree with me.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm looking at you like yeah yeah, she said, I'm
- 2:23Speaker 2: super possessive and jealous. Oh my god. Yeah, you better
- 2:26Speaker 2: not be checking out, Todd. I mean, I know he's hoping,
- 2:28Speaker 2: you know what, I look at him.
- 2:31Speaker 1: Yeah, because you're out, You're finished, and don't mess with
- 2:34Speaker 1: my money.
- 2:35Speaker 2: You know you messed with my money.
- 2:37Speaker 1: Friends do you have that will want to mess with
- 2:38Speaker 1: your money? How do they even have access to your money?
- 2:40Speaker 1: You know there's people that will pretend to be your
- 2:42Speaker 1: friend and try to get into business, Joe, that's different.
- 2:46Speaker 1: Those are people, know, but you know what the problem is.
- 2:49Speaker 2: And I think you have that problem that you don't
- 2:51Speaker 2: know how to differentiate between your real friends.
- 2:54Speaker 1: Well said by you? No, no, how Now I have
- 2:57Speaker 1: so few friends left there?
- 2:58Speaker 2: Maybe I need to do the podcast US with Marasoon
- 3:00Speaker 2: next to me, because she's screaming here right next to me,
- 3:04Speaker 2: she's screaming, and I'm usually the one that's screaming, so
- 3:06Speaker 2: I love to hear you screaming, but not in my ear.
- 3:10Speaker 2: So anyways, I think it's important to be able to
- 3:12Speaker 2: differentiate between acquaintances and real friends and business partners. Your
- 3:19Speaker 2: business partners are not necessarily your friends and don't. So
- 3:22Speaker 2: that's why my friends, but your friend never steal my
- 3:25Speaker 2: money because I'm not I'm not your friend, they're your
- 3:28Speaker 2: business partner. But yeah, it happens people.
- 3:32Speaker 1: Oh sure it does. You know, do business with friends
- 3:34Speaker 1: and it's the worst thing you could do. They're not
- 3:36Speaker 1: you know, it's bad, right, all right, So that's well,
- 3:39Speaker 1: we think we nail that one. Yeah.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Well, I like my friends to be funny too.
- 3:42Speaker 1: Okay, Oh, I got that one way right right. I
- 3:46Speaker 1: get some adds to all the other stuff. Okay, Mara,
- 3:50Speaker 1: So you read the questions because I don't want to
- 3:52Speaker 1: wear my gasses today because I know too. C Yeah,
- 3:56Speaker 1: Oh my god, that's so hot. If you could see
- 3:59Speaker 1: this course, is that course situation with the fishermen's like sweater?
- 4:04Speaker 1: It's just soci Yeah, that's my favorite.
- 4:10Speaker 2: Okay. What would you consider toxic enough to walk away
- 4:14Speaker 2: from from a relationship or friendship?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Cheating and lying right right? Talking behind your back?
- 4:20Speaker 2: Yeah, talking behind your back.
- 4:22Speaker 1: Lying, cheating, eating, lying, uh huh okay, okay, without mentioning names,
- 4:28Speaker 1: does it amaze you that some women in the real
- 4:31Speaker 1: houses in Miami go out of their way to be toxic,
- 4:34Speaker 1: and yet some ladies remain friends with them and continue
- 4:38Speaker 1: to treat them nicely?
- 4:39Speaker 2: What are your thoughts on that much? So I was
- 4:42Speaker 2: doing press about that today. That's why I'm in my
- 4:44Speaker 2: winter white here in New York City and I spoke
- 4:49Speaker 2: about that. I've been really disappointed this season where Johanna,
- 4:55Speaker 2: to be specific, I knew that was who's coming up,
- 4:58Speaker 2: that's right.
- 4:58Speaker 1: I mean we all know.
- 4:59Speaker 2: I don't even like saying her name, but when she
- 5:01Speaker 2: continues to behave a certain way, and how the other
- 5:04Speaker 2: girls are not stopping her or giving her any advice,
- 5:08Speaker 2: especially Nicole. So that's why I'm feeling the kind of
- 5:10Speaker 2: way that I am about Nicole, because you know, I
- 5:13Speaker 2: thought you would be the bigger, better person as long
- 5:15Speaker 2: as she has You're so smart and give good advice,
- 5:17Speaker 2: like you know, sometimes you have to be either well,
- 5:21Speaker 2: Adrianna's Uplisa's but so of course she's not going to
- 5:23Speaker 2: Adriana like it's like kissing her ass big time, So
- 5:26Speaker 2: that's never gonna happen.
- 5:27Speaker 1: Well, as long as she has three people behind her,
- 5:30Speaker 1: she's okay, and she's going to continue to do it.
- 5:32Speaker 1: She's sorry, she's just wrong, and in real life situation,
- 5:36Speaker 1: nobody should be supporting that.
- 5:38Speaker 2: No, absolutely not nobody.
- 5:39Speaker 1: And I obviously hadn't watched, you know, I didn't know
- 5:42Speaker 1: what was going on behind my back. But guess what, guys,
- 5:44Speaker 1: we're having the reunion this week and that's why we're
- 5:48Speaker 1: in New York City in our winter whites. Yes, and
- 5:51Speaker 1: you're gonna love our scene. By the way, you guys
- 5:53Speaker 1: will have to watch because we're gonna kill her the
- 5:55Speaker 1: same is so, yeah, I know how much I did
- 5:59Speaker 1: press today. I'm supposed to know exactly what I'm doing.
- 6:01Speaker 1: Don't overtease, so it's not an overtease anyways. So you
- 6:06Speaker 1: guys are going to have to watch because that's where
- 6:08Speaker 1: we have that opportunity to talk to each other or
- 6:13Speaker 1: fight with each other and make our points and bring
- 6:15Speaker 1: up all the things that we need to bring up
- 6:18Speaker 1: and all the information.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, we may have to do what Heather's doing.
- 6:21Speaker 2: You know, the proof, the receipts, the timeline. What else
- 6:24Speaker 2: am I missing? And I didn't watch that?
- 6:26Speaker 1: Well, it doesn't matter.
- 6:27Speaker 2: It's become iconic, you know, it's become iconic with the politicians,
- 6:31Speaker 2: with Kevin Hart.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Thank you, Heather.
- 6:33Speaker 2: We love you, Heather, Hell, we love you.
- 6:37Speaker 1: Anyways, what's the next question?
- 6:39Speaker 2: But that was a very good question.
- 6:41Speaker 1: However, asked that it was so funny because all I
- 6:44Speaker 1: thought about was Adriana the whole time?
- 6:46Speaker 2: That was it?
- 6:46Speaker 1: Okay? How do you feel about previous cast members of
- 6:50Speaker 1: our HLM resurfacing? We saw Leah come back? Now Ana,
- 6:54Speaker 1: who's next? Who would you like to s and who
- 6:57Speaker 1: would you like to see resurface? Who would make you
- 7:00Speaker 1: say I pull forward?
- 7:02Speaker 2: No? I mean I think there are yeah, I open,
- 7:06Speaker 2: no falling No, Yeah, okay, you know, and there's a
- 7:09Speaker 2: reason for it, you know, I call on you know.
- 7:12Speaker 2: It's like evolution progress. Yeah, and no, there's no room
- 7:16Speaker 2: for anybody else. I think we have a great cast.
- 7:19Speaker 1: Me too, I agree. I think it's perfect the way
- 7:21Speaker 1: it is. Okay, so we're not going to touch that. Okay,
- 7:25Speaker 1: now there are JOm has been on the air for
- 7:27Speaker 1: three consecutive seasons. How would you compare the fandom from
- 7:31Speaker 1: back then to now? So they want to know what
- 7:35Speaker 1: the first three seasons spelt like fan wise to now. Well,
- 7:41Speaker 1: the entire world is completely different now because of social media,
- 7:46Speaker 1: true and Instagram and just like everything right, So I
- 7:50Speaker 1: feel like also the popularity of the show has grown.
- 7:55Speaker 1: It's a big it is, so I feel like it's
- 7:58Speaker 1: way more what's the word loved? Accepted? No, bigger.
- 8:05Speaker 2: It's a phenomenal.
- 8:06Speaker 1: It's just like, you know, these kind of shows, you
- 8:09Speaker 1: know what people say it, yeah, yeah, have become like
- 8:12Speaker 1: huge personalities. I mean they're talking about the Housewives in
- 8:15Speaker 1: the Red Carpet at the Golden Globes and all the
- 8:18Speaker 1: red carpets. It's amazing. I don't know, and all the
- 8:22Speaker 1: red carpets, but I know that you know, particular yeah,
- 8:24Speaker 1: particular stars and actresses and actors you know, do love
- 8:29Speaker 1: the show and reference the show. So I think that
- 8:33Speaker 1: back in the day, people didn't really understand it, at
- 8:35Speaker 1: least in Miami, Like, I don't know, you said that
- 8:37Speaker 1: you shared stories work, you share one of those stories.
- 8:40Speaker 1: So I remember back in the day when we first started,
- 8:43Speaker 1: I went to an Ocean Drive party and with some
- 8:46Speaker 1: of my employees because we would do that because the
- 8:48Speaker 1: magazine supported our business.
- 8:51Speaker 2: And I remember walking in after the show.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Had aired a few episodes, and I was mobbed, like
- 8:58Speaker 1: everyone was screaming coming around me, like, hey, my forfoward.
- 9:03Speaker 1: That hasn't even happened to us now, I did, Aslon,
- 9:06Speaker 1: we can call Lauren right now, she'll tell you. She's like,
- 9:07Speaker 1: we got to get out of here. I can't breathe.
- 9:09Speaker 1: Everyone was getting we were getting trampled. It was crazy
- 9:12Speaker 1: in my own town. But I have that hasn't happened
- 9:15Speaker 1: like that right well, these days, I've never seen that happen,
- 9:19Speaker 1: and especially in Miami. It surprises me because I don't
- 9:22Speaker 1: think that our.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Show was so watched, you know, back in the day,
- 9:26Speaker 2: and I think people just didn't understand our show and
- 9:29Speaker 2: understand like the concept of the housewife show, even in
- 9:32Speaker 2: other franchises. And I think in twenty ten when we started,
- 9:37Speaker 2: it was popular, and it was popular amongst women that
- 9:40Speaker 2: watched these shows, but it was kind of like their
- 9:42Speaker 2: guilty pleasure, you know. It was they would watch it,
- 9:44Speaker 2: but they didn't want to admit it, and they were
- 9:46Speaker 2: kind of like embarrassed about saying it. So back in
- 9:49Speaker 2: the day, it was like ew, like.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Why what are you talking about with show? Oh? Who
- 9:52Speaker 1: would want to do that? So was it kind of
- 9:55Speaker 1: like watching porn? No, not at all like watching porn,
- 9:59Speaker 1: but you had to hide it and you're embarrassed about it. Well,
- 10:03Speaker 1: I mean it could be so for some people. Yes,
- 10:05Speaker 1: But you know, I'm proud to say everything.
- 10:08Speaker 3: I watched, Well, no, I'm glad to say that I
- 10:12Speaker 3: do my phone, and I'm proud to be on my
- 10:14Speaker 3: show as well, and I always was, but I just
- 10:18Speaker 3: feel like we get a lot more love today.
- 10:21Speaker 1: And I think it's just because this show has turned
- 10:25Speaker 1: into like a phenomenon where everybody like watches it and
- 10:27Speaker 1: talks about it.
- 10:29Speaker 2: We're having a booze delivery. We are a guess for
- 10:32Speaker 2: who guess for whoops? Yeah, someone's got to entertain around here.
- 10:47Speaker 1: Okay, guys, all right, we're back.
- 10:49Speaker 2: We're hydrated.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Said, we're ready. We're drinking with you.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Guys, So if you're a home right now and are thirsty,
- 10:57Speaker 2: just grab yourself a drink. We're drinking with you and
- 11:02Speaker 2: we're ready to talk. Yeah, we're ready.
- 11:04Speaker 1: And listen, don't discount a Bacca Cranberry because it's an
- 11:08Speaker 1: excellent choice when the OJ is fresh.
- 11:12Speaker 2: That's just saying. Okay.
- 11:13Speaker 1: Next question, what part of your culture are you most
- 11:17Speaker 1: proud of? This? Guys, everything I love. Listen. You know
- 11:30Speaker 1: what I really love about our culture? The family? I
- 11:33Speaker 1: love the family component. Family is so important to us.
- 11:36Speaker 2: Are fun, happy people.
- 11:38Speaker 1: Everything is laughter and giggles and exaggerating a story and
- 11:43Speaker 1: making it fun and funny and light They're just a
- 11:46Speaker 1: happy people. We like to have fun.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Yeah, it's just it's just a fun fun.
- 11:52Speaker 1: We really drown people as well. Oh yeah, I think
- 11:55Speaker 1: we're the best. We know everything. Nobody can teach us
- 12:04Speaker 1: anything because we know it all. Cheers to that, bro,
- 12:07Speaker 1: cheers to cheers. Cheers, cheers. My dad was from Connecticut.
- 12:13Speaker 1: He was the same though I think it was born
- 12:18Speaker 1: that way. Okay, what do you think Cubans have in
- 12:21Speaker 1: common with Panolis? I only you can answer this, because
- 12:24Speaker 1: I really don't know. We have so many similarities. I
- 12:27Speaker 1: think you know, our foods are different, and obviously we
- 12:30Speaker 1: speak Spanish, but depends which Oh my god, I'm speaking
- 12:37Speaker 1: Spanish weird, So it depends what region you are from Spain.
- 12:41Speaker 1: You know, you can speak the Castilian Spanish or you
- 12:43Speaker 1: can speak like Andaluside from the south. But I think
- 12:46Speaker 1: it's just like our language, you know, just the fact
- 12:48Speaker 1: that you can communicate and we have that in common,
- 12:51Speaker 1: even though with a different accent.
- 12:53Speaker 2: I think it makes it everything. And I feel like
- 12:55Speaker 2: we share like the same love and passion for live
- 13:00Speaker 2: for life. Yeah, absolutely, enjoy the moment, live in the moment.
- 13:05Speaker 2: We love to eat, drink, dance by line, and it
- 13:09Speaker 2: seemed to be thinner. Okay, well that's because they live
- 13:13Speaker 2: in Spain. They walk and there everything is like organic,
- 13:17Speaker 2: you know. That's so that's a little different. So I
- 13:20Speaker 2: was trans fats in the US and the hormones. Sorry,
- 13:24Speaker 2: I'd hate to take it back to Wait, it's an obsession.
- 13:27Speaker 2: What is she talking about now? The Cubans are heaving,
- 13:34Speaker 2: the Spaniards seem to be thinner.
- 13:38Speaker 1: There's more. I'm gonna walk have a different lifestyle here, right, walk.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Who is one celeb that each of you have met
- 13:49Speaker 1: that left you completely starstruck? I've met a few. I've
- 13:53Speaker 1: met a few.
- 13:56Speaker 2: I'm gonna pick Ricky Martin, and I'm gonna be picked
- 14:00Speaker 2: Ricky Martin not only because he's Latin, you know better,
- 14:04Speaker 2: because I was bragging about how I've never been start
- 14:07Speaker 2: stroke about anyone. And I was actually in the lobby
- 14:11Speaker 2: of their offices where he was being interviewed. I don't
- 14:14Speaker 2: know what you recall when Ricky Martin came out with
- 14:17Speaker 2: the book, when he was first book and it was
- 14:19Speaker 2: like his coming up book, right, So all the media
- 14:21Speaker 2: allists wanted to talk to him, and I had the
- 14:23Speaker 2: magazine at the time. He was the cover of the magazine,
- 14:26Speaker 2: so therefore we too that you had him on the cover,
- 14:30Speaker 2: and of course I said I was the only one
- 14:31Speaker 2: that was going to have him in the cover. But
- 14:32Speaker 2: then I realized that other magazines also not that same month.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But also, you know, obviously he was like the hottest thing.
- 14:38Speaker 2: He had just come out with a coming up book,
- 14:41Speaker 2: so everyone wanted a piece of him and wanted to
- 14:43Speaker 2: interview him. So basically, I that was in my job
- 14:47Speaker 2: to interview people, but I couldn't give an interview. Just
- 14:50Speaker 2: like I can talk, I can ask questions and you know,
- 14:52Speaker 2: write down and all that, but I went with my writer,
- 14:55Speaker 2: and I'll never forget. I was in the lobby and
- 14:57Speaker 2: we're all sitting there and everybody's like, oh my god,
- 15:01Speaker 2: I can't wait to meet like Ricky Martin blah. And
- 15:03Speaker 2: I was like Fran and they're like, oh my god,
- 15:06Speaker 2: like when I see him, I'm gonna like jump up.
- 15:08Speaker 2: And everybody's like saying, like all these stories, and I'm like,
- 15:11Speaker 2: I'm not. I've never been starstruck by anyone. I don't
- 15:14Speaker 2: think it's gonna.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Happen to me.
- 15:15Speaker 2: You're so funny with your posture and your know and
- 15:19Speaker 2: by the way, I was going to a fashion show
- 15:21Speaker 2: after so if ya.
- 15:25Speaker 1: Word so long. Yeah, I was like, I'll take don
- 15:28Speaker 1: with like what I was waring for a fashion show?
- 15:30Speaker 2: Oh my lamb, hair and makeup and the whole thing.
- 15:32Speaker 2: So first of all, I walked in there and it
- 15:33Speaker 2: people are like, who are you?
- 15:34Speaker 1: Like, you're not the journalist.
- 15:37Speaker 2: You probably want to convert Ricky Martin and what so
- 15:41Speaker 2: even like that, I kind of like his his manager
- 15:43Speaker 2: and his people were like, Okay, who are you? What
- 15:45Speaker 2: are you doing here? But anyway, so everybody's sharing your
- 15:47Speaker 2: story and I'm like, you know what I've met, like
- 15:49Speaker 2: because of my magazine and because it's just my life,
- 15:52Speaker 2: I've met different actress and actresses. I've never been starstruck.
- 15:55Speaker 2: Like I'm not going to be starstruck, mita, I'll never forget.
- 15:59Speaker 2: It was like a wall and then there was a window.
- 16:02Speaker 2: There was an office in Lincoln Road.
- 16:03Speaker 1: I don't know if you knew.
- 16:04Speaker 2: It was like a big media office and it was
- 16:06Speaker 2: a wall would have been Sony because he was also
- 16:10Speaker 2: had a record label, so it could have very well
- 16:11Speaker 2: been Sony.
- 16:12Speaker 1: And it had a window like on the top like that,
- 16:16Speaker 1: like just long and I didn't know that Ricky Martin
- 16:20Speaker 1: was so tall. So he's yeah, he's tall. He's tall. No,
- 16:24Speaker 1: but he's tall. He's tall.
- 16:25Speaker 2: I mean I thought he was like a short guy.
- 16:27Speaker 2: But in this case, there was no, he's not. There
- 16:29Speaker 2: was a there was some tall because you admired. No, no,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I'm going to tell you why I saw him tall.
- 16:34Speaker 2: So the wall was like this, and then there was
- 16:37Speaker 2: a window. So I'm sitting here, Ricky Cain. Ricky walks
- 16:41Speaker 2: through there and all I sees his head. Oh all,
- 16:43Speaker 2: I sees his head on the window the wall.
- 16:47Speaker 4: No, not yet.
- 16:49Speaker 1: And anyways, so he so I see him walking by,
- 16:53Speaker 1: and I'm in my chair and I'm like, oh.
- 16:55Speaker 2: My god, Ricky he sees me and he goes like
- 16:58Speaker 2: this to go a big exactly. So that's why that's
- 17:02Speaker 2: my story. So I was literally starstruck with Ricky Martin
- 17:06Speaker 2: wan the Yobi. I say, oh dy, this is beautiful
- 17:09Speaker 2: because you know what makes him even more beautiful his energy.
- 17:13Speaker 2: So anyways, fast forward, so he sees me jumping up.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Nobody else everybody said that was gonna be starstruck, not
- 17:19Speaker 2: in Loyo. And I saw him like this, and I
- 17:21Speaker 2: was like, oh, my god, Oh my god, Ricky. So
- 17:24Speaker 2: obviously they let me in and we're sitting down and
- 17:26Speaker 2: I was like, he was in front of me and
- 17:29Speaker 2: he like crossed his legs like this, and he got
- 17:31Speaker 2: like in a Buddha position and he was talking and
- 17:34Speaker 2: his energy and everything was so beautiful.
- 17:37Speaker 1: He just sat down in the middle of nowhere and
- 17:39Speaker 1: position in the conference room. There was a conference.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Oh, they take us to the conference room. But I
- 17:44Speaker 2: was mesmerized with this guy, and you know what, I
- 17:46Speaker 2: liked about him even more than I ran into him.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Two weeks later, I'm soho and he goes Alexia and
- 17:53Speaker 2: all my friends are like, oh my god. You know,
- 17:56Speaker 2: come on, They're like, oh my god, you know Ricky Martin.
- 17:58Speaker 2: I'm like apparently apparently, yeah. I was so starstars me.
- 18:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:03Speaker 2: So anyways, I was starstruck with him, and he's been
- 18:05Speaker 2: the only person that I've ever acted silly like that.
- 18:07Speaker 1: I've never done that with anybody. I could see whoever,
- 18:10Speaker 1: and I'll be like super cool and calm it. With Ricky,
- 18:14Speaker 1: I like jumped off my chair. Well, So I grew
- 18:24Speaker 1: up and hung out with a lot of very very
- 18:26Speaker 1: very very big celebrities at a very young age. But
- 18:30Speaker 1: the person that I think the most starstruck about from
- 18:34Speaker 1: is because I only met him once and.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Then he died.
- 18:37Speaker 1: Yeah, so I went to dinner with my mom to
- 18:41Speaker 1: Gianni Versace, and you were going to say, yeah, I
- 18:44Speaker 1: went to the house and I had dinner with my mom,
- 18:47Speaker 1: Johnny and Madonna.
- 18:49Speaker 2: I think Bruce Weber was there, I don't remember.
- 18:52Speaker 1: It was like a few people. It was like a
- 18:53Speaker 1: table of sixer he was. He so handsome, he was
- 18:56Speaker 1: just so nice, so nice. I was married to my
- 18:59Speaker 1: first husband at the time. He was Turkish and I
- 19:01Speaker 1: was studying to be a school teacher. And he said
- 19:03Speaker 1: to me, so what do you do? And I'm in
- 19:05Speaker 1: this little tiny dinner table in his dining room, and
- 19:07Speaker 1: you know, I've met a lot of people.
- 19:08Speaker 2: I wasn't that impressed at the moment. You know, I
- 19:10Speaker 2: was just like, he's cool. I love his dresses.
- 19:12Speaker 1: And you know, I was really in it in the
- 19:14Speaker 1: whole Hollywood scene back then, so it was just another
- 19:17Speaker 1: big person I was meeting. So what happened? So let
- 19:19Speaker 1: me tell you.
- 19:20Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying that you were in the Hollywood scene.
- 19:22Speaker 2: So then you know in Miami, the Miami Hollywood scene.
- 19:26Speaker 2: So he says to me, what do you do? I
- 19:30Speaker 2: got some studying to be a school teacher, goes I
- 19:32Speaker 2: was a school teacher. Oh, teacher?
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, And then he said to me that he
- 19:40Speaker 1: went to private schools and he was taught by nuns.
- 19:44Speaker 1: And then during class he was always sketching women and
- 19:47Speaker 1: clothes and he would get in trouble.
- 19:49Speaker 2: But he, I guess already at a young age, he knew.
- 19:52Speaker 1: That's when I wanted to jew and he had it
- 19:53Speaker 1: and everything, and he's studying to be a school teacher too.
- 19:56Speaker 2: Was very nice.
- 19:57Speaker 1: I told him I lived in Turkey part of the year.
- 19:59Speaker 1: He's like, I love Turkey. Can I come stay with you?
- 20:01Speaker 1: I was like, you want to stay with me? Look
- 20:02Speaker 1: at your house. I don't think you want to stay
- 20:04Speaker 1: at my house. This house is great.
- 20:06Speaker 2: It was just a beautiful night. And then you know
- 20:09Speaker 2: you could get through some God. No, no, no, no.
- 20:14Speaker 1: Have you been to his to his mansion? Yeah?
- 20:16Speaker 2: Okay, did you see his bed?
- 20:17Speaker 1: Did you see the size of his bed? Why are
- 20:19Speaker 1: you making this a dirty story?
- 20:21Speaker 4: Well?
- 20:21Speaker 1: You to me? Why can't I do it to you?
- 20:23Speaker 1: You make everything a joke.
- 20:24Speaker 2: You make me say your job can I say your
- 20:26Speaker 2: joke once in a while.
- 20:27Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:28Speaker 1: Listen, a lot of people are thinking the same thing.
- 20:29Speaker 1: I am like, why can't I say what I'm thinking? No,
- 20:32Speaker 1: I'm known for that, Okay. So anyway, we leave and
- 20:36Speaker 1: then two weeks later it was you know, taken from us,
- 20:40Speaker 1: which was very sad. So for me, you know, that
- 20:45Speaker 1: was he left an impression on me. And I'm still
- 20:47Speaker 1: starstruck because he was so big and so amazing, and
- 20:50Speaker 1: I appreciate it in the moment, but I really appreciate
- 20:52Speaker 1: it now because I look back and think he was
- 20:55Speaker 1: a legend absolutely out of all the people that I met,
- 20:58Speaker 1: and he's still losing a lot of people's cars and
- 21:00Speaker 1: memories and his clothes. I took him.
- 21:04Speaker 2: They dream in my closet and we're such huge fans.
- 21:07Speaker 2: And he was another good one that got to go
- 21:09Speaker 2: at a young age and he didn't deserve it. It
- 21:11Speaker 2: was so nice. I was just a beautiful life like
- 21:14Speaker 2: ahead of him, right, and he was so full of
- 21:16Speaker 2: life that took how I always saw him.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He was just so real and normal and down to earth.
- 21:20Speaker 1: You know, he really wanted to hear about me and
- 21:22Speaker 1: learn about me.
- 21:23Speaker 2: And I'm in his home.
- 21:24Speaker 1: But who was starstruck him? Or you know I was
- 21:27Speaker 1: because I didn't want it. No, I am now looking back,
- 21:32Speaker 1: you know, still to this day that that was a huge,
- 21:34Speaker 1: amazing opportunity that sat and had dinner with this man
- 21:37Speaker 1: at his table with only you know, seven other people,
- 21:40Speaker 1: and he took an interest in talking to me. And
- 21:42Speaker 1: he's no longer with me, and that was a legendary moment.
- 21:44Speaker 1: And I'm started by it. That's it, that's my start fall. Yeah,
- 21:50Speaker 1: it's much more meaningful and deep than mine. Jumping off
- 21:53Speaker 1: the chair when I saw Ricky, but yours was super
- 21:56Speaker 1: cute and he will were platforms.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Stopping.
- 21:59Speaker 1: He doesn't need it.
- 22:00Speaker 2: He's tall, handsome and beautiful. You know, he's taller than
- 22:04Speaker 2: the wall. When I saw him with the window and
- 22:06Speaker 2: I saw his face and I jumped up. Who would
- 22:17Speaker 2: have you start struck?
- 22:18Speaker 1: Now? My friend?
- 22:20Speaker 2: Who Now would I strike myself? Star struck with myself
- 22:25Speaker 2: to strike you with a microphone?
- 22:28Speaker 1: For real?
- 22:30Speaker 2: So you know I think that I don't know, maybe
- 22:34Speaker 2: Brad Pitt, Oh he's pretty awesome. Yeah, I think he
- 22:39Speaker 2: thinks like Brad Pitt, you know, I mean, I don't know.
- 22:44Speaker 2: I saw Tom Brady, I was gonna say, don't say
- 22:47Speaker 2: Tom Hardy.
- 22:50Speaker 1: When we fail.
- 22:52Speaker 2: No. So, actually we were at the opening of the
- 22:56Speaker 2: Phone Bloom in Vegas. Was he there? There were a
- 22:59Speaker 2: lot of stars and Sylvester Saloon was there, and I
- 23:06Speaker 2: wasn't starstruck with him. It did strike me that he
- 23:09Speaker 2: was so nice and pleasant, but I was actually more
- 23:13Speaker 2: impressed with his wife, Jennifer Flavian.
- 23:14Speaker 1: And by the way, they have a reality show now
- 23:16Speaker 1: I know.
- 23:16Speaker 2: So I was very interested because it aired in her Yes,
- 23:19Speaker 2: I was very interested in her how she got her
- 23:23Speaker 2: scripted actor husband to participate in this reality show. Everyone's
- 23:27Speaker 2: got a reality show now.
- 23:29Speaker 1: Yeah, and.
- 23:31Speaker 2: Anyways, but we did see Tom Brady, and even Todd
- 23:33Speaker 2: was starstruck. And it is not starstruck.
- 23:36Speaker 1: It's just like some people, like some actors and actresses
- 23:38Speaker 1: and family presidents have this very strong presence. Yeah.
- 23:43Speaker 2: So it's like, even if we didn't know him from
- 23:45Speaker 2: football and from his personal life or whatever, he walks
- 23:50Speaker 2: into a room and people are going to look and.
- 23:52Speaker 1: That's what he did. For us.
- 23:54Speaker 2: It's like he walked and we're like, whoa who is that?
- 23:56Speaker 2: And obviously it was like Tom Brady.
- 23:58Speaker 1: So it's not that it's like starstruck, but like some
- 24:00Speaker 1: people are born yod yeah yeah, so you know, you
- 24:06Speaker 1: know that's how it is. Nothing.
- 24:08Speaker 4: Yeah, so translates that for the people don't speak Spanish English, peace,
- 24:14Speaker 4: You're you're getting the American star and some people are
- 24:18Speaker 4: just struck by a star.
- 24:21Speaker 1: Pretty much, Thank you, my friends. It was very good grass.
- 24:26Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:27Speaker 1: Well, I mean, it's no secret I love Tom Hardy.
- 24:29Speaker 2: You know, I just I do got is that the.
- 24:31Speaker 1: Guy from the Hearty Genis. I'm kidding. He's an actor.
- 24:34Speaker 1: He's he's an amazing English actor and I just I
- 24:39Speaker 1: just love Tom Hardy.
- 24:40Speaker 2: He's so great. Did you see him in was it Legends?
- 24:43Speaker 1: No?
- 24:43Speaker 2: No, no, no?
- 24:44Speaker 1: What was the film that he did with with It
- 24:49Speaker 1: was such a big Oscar winning film, The one he
- 24:51Speaker 1: did with the Table, the one that's always in Miami.
- 24:54Speaker 1: Date's only twenty year old Leonardo DiCaprio was called I
- 25:00Speaker 1: don't Know. And then he did another one called Legends,
- 25:02Speaker 1: and it was about these it's a true story, but
- 25:05Speaker 1: we don't want to hear others. So he's just so great.
- 25:09Speaker 1: Can I tell my story? Nobody wants to hear about his.
- 25:11Speaker 2: Movie, like trying to the people Yeah, No, like talk
- 25:16Speaker 2: about your show like that, that's where you're trying to promote,
- 25:18Speaker 2: or like our podcast or our live show that we
- 25:20Speaker 2: don't feel like not a lot of people.
- 25:23Speaker 1: That nobody the audience, you know, who people care about.
- 25:28Speaker 2: The people that were at the Blue Yes, he's legendary,
- 25:32Speaker 2: Tom Brady justin Timberlake. Okay, Well Trump, Ivanka Trump, Kim Kardashian, Well,
- 25:39Speaker 2: I'm hard is better than all of them put together. Share,
- 25:42Speaker 2: I love Share, Share was there? Okay, She's fabulous, you know.
- 25:48Speaker 2: And when I love about all of them that they
- 25:49Speaker 2: were so like down to earth, you know, they were
- 25:51Speaker 2: all there just like hanging out and just talking to everybody,
- 25:56Speaker 2: super chill.
- 25:57Speaker 1: You know. I feel like a lot of that has
- 25:59Speaker 1: changed from in the day when you knew Versace and
- 26:03Speaker 1: how I met Ricky. I feel like a lot of
- 26:05Speaker 1: actors and actresses now in celebrities are more accessible to us,
- 26:09Speaker 1: or at least we feel older they are because you
- 26:11Speaker 1: just like being nicer.
- 26:14Speaker 2: No, I think it's because of social media. I think
- 26:17Speaker 2: that that platform has given us that our fans think
- 26:20Speaker 2: they know what's when our case they do because they
- 26:22Speaker 2: follow us our TV show and it's like our real lives.
- 26:24Speaker 2: But I feel like the other actors and actresses that
- 26:26Speaker 2: do share a lot on social media, we feel the
- 26:28Speaker 2: same that we know them not only because of their movies,
- 26:31Speaker 2: but because what they post.
- 26:33Speaker 1: What were each of you like when you were young?
- 26:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry, I'm meeting I was when I was younger,
- 26:38Speaker 1: I was very afraid to do anything wrong. I lived
- 26:41Speaker 1: in a very strict home. My parents were extremely strict,
- 26:44Speaker 1: very tough, and I mean they had egalized on me
- 26:48Speaker 1: and I just like if I even breathed in a
- 26:50Speaker 1: round direction, I was in trouble. I get u spanking
- 26:53Speaker 1: and I just was a stellar child, never in trouble.
- 26:57Speaker 1: And really yeah, I did join up in boarding school.
- 27:00Speaker 1: Well so I did that to myself. Actually, so I
- 27:04Speaker 1: lived and keep a skin. And the last grade you
- 27:07Speaker 1: could go to and school back then was eighth grade.
- 27:10Speaker 1: So after that I'd have to leave keep a skaining
- 27:12Speaker 1: to go to a high school. And my mom and
- 27:14Speaker 1: dad wanted me to go to all the like private
- 27:16Speaker 1: girls school was like the one I went to Carrollton
- 27:21Speaker 1: and all that. I wanted to go to the Saska.
- 27:24Speaker 1: I wanted to go to public school with my friends,
- 27:27Speaker 1: and so they took me to take all those tests
- 27:30Speaker 1: at all the schools. I filled all of them miserably
- 27:32Speaker 1: on purpose, because I figured, Okay, I'm going to end
- 27:35Speaker 1: up in at Gables High School with all my friends,
- 27:38Speaker 1: public school with all the delinquents, right, so then all
- 27:41Speaker 1: the bad boys, well, all the fond people exactly. So
- 27:44Speaker 1: then my dad, his business partner at the times ex
- 27:48Speaker 1: wife of in Palm Beach, and the daughter was a
- 27:50Speaker 1: day student and an all girls Catholic day and boarding school.
- 27:56Speaker 2: And I ended up in that boarding school. It's my own.
- 28:00Speaker 2: I was there for two years. That's really sad because
- 28:03Speaker 2: if you were really a good girl and you ended
- 28:05Speaker 2: up there because of that, because I feel like all
- 28:07Speaker 2: the bad girls.
- 28:08Speaker 1: Well, nobody wanted to me anywhere else. I was allowed
- 28:10Speaker 1: to go to public school, so I had to go there. Well,
- 28:12Speaker 1: I would have helped you.
- 28:14Speaker 2: I didn't want to go to the other schools.
- 28:16Speaker 1: It wasn't that bad.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I went there, and look at me, I'm like perfect.
- 28:21Speaker 2: I'm like, you know what happens when you go to
- 28:22Speaker 2: those schools. No, I'm just saying that I'm not perfect,
- 28:25Speaker 2: like the perfect person, but I'm just saying that I'm
- 28:27Speaker 2: good with you. I think you're perfect.
- 28:30Speaker 1: I mean, I'm not.
- 28:30Speaker 2: But what I'm trying to say is like some people think, oh,
- 28:33Speaker 2: because you go to certain schools and you turn out
- 28:36Speaker 2: a certain way, and yes, sometimes, well I just that happens,
- 28:39Speaker 2: I know, and it matters.
- 28:40Speaker 1: But I'm just saying, you know what, we didn't turn
- 28:42Speaker 1: out that bad.
- 28:43Speaker 2: But back in the day, I felt like the girls
- 28:45Speaker 2: didn't have to worry so much about the way they
- 28:48Speaker 2: looked or about taking time to do your hair and
- 28:51Speaker 2: makeup and all that to look good in school, so
- 28:52Speaker 2: we would focus more on the academics and the corriculum.
- 28:57Speaker 1: So I think that's good.
- 28:58Speaker 2: And another thing I see that the girls that went
- 29:01Speaker 2: to all girl schools, they were like more competitive like
- 29:06Speaker 2: and even with themselves, and they were just brought up
- 29:08Speaker 2: was like a certain kind of confidence, you know, kind
- 29:12Speaker 2: of like you don't really like need a guy, or
- 29:15Speaker 2: like you know, you can do this like on your own.
- 29:17Speaker 2: I don't know, I think it was like a little different.
- 29:18Speaker 2: I think that the mindset was like a little different.
- 29:20Speaker 2: I don't know that it's I got today, so don't well.
- 29:23Speaker 1: I know that the best grades I ever got in
- 29:24Speaker 1: my life, and I know that you don't agree with me.
- 29:27Speaker 1: But I was diagnosed dyslexic. And the best grades I
- 29:32Speaker 1: ever got in my life was when I was away
- 29:34Speaker 1: in boarding school because we had two hours every night
- 29:36Speaker 1: after dinner of study hall and I was studying because
- 29:40Speaker 1: I had to study, and everybody was studying and I
- 29:43Speaker 1: was doing straight a's there, that's how I got out potential. Well, yeah,
- 29:48Speaker 1: because I had to. It's such a funker. Okay, guys
- 29:58Speaker 1: were so lot wearing.
- 30:01Speaker 2: So anyways, guys were so lucky that we live in
- 30:03Speaker 2: Miami and it's it's it's hot, and we use the
- 30:07Speaker 2: air conditioned because the heater.
- 30:08Speaker 1: Everything is so dry in here, dry dry, Like I'm
- 30:14Speaker 1: itchy my face. You're like, okay, so what's next? What's next? Guys?
- 30:32Speaker 1: What do you have for us? What was something you
- 30:34Speaker 1: would always get in trouble for as team? Wait?
- 30:36Speaker 2: How did you say with my My childhood was like,
- 30:39Speaker 2: oh sorry please?
- 30:40Speaker 1: So I felt like you talked more than I did
- 30:43Speaker 1: on that. Well, but go for it.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Oh okay, Well are we competing with one another? Well
- 30:47Speaker 2: that's one of my qualities thanks to my school. I'm
- 30:49Speaker 2: very competitive. So anyways, so no, my childhood was I
- 30:56Speaker 2: had a very strong mom, Nancy and she was at
- 31:00Speaker 2: her and then I had my grandmother there. Raised me
- 31:02Speaker 2: that my mom was more like the dad and my mom.
- 31:04Speaker 2: My grandmother was like my mom. She was like more nurturing.
- 31:07Speaker 2: She would cook Cuban food for us every day, but
- 31:09Speaker 2: went in the house with us. And then we had
- 31:11Speaker 2: a housekeeper too, and then we had my brother and
- 31:14Speaker 2: my sister, and then my dad was also involved in
- 31:16Speaker 2: her life. But my parents were divorced. We always went
- 31:18Speaker 2: to a Catholic school and grew up in the South
- 31:22Speaker 2: and I always kind of in the South in South Miami, Miami. Yeah, no, no,
- 31:28Speaker 2: I don't have anything the.
- 31:30Speaker 1: Southern. I don't have that southern.
- 31:34Speaker 2: But anyways, but my parents were very strict, like he
- 31:37Speaker 2: was also, and I think that sometimes when they're that strict,
- 31:40Speaker 2: you know, you gotta like do different things behind their backs.
- 31:44Speaker 2: But it's like different times, you did a lot of
- 31:45Speaker 2: different things behind your back when I had to, because
- 31:48Speaker 2: I get like they were always like watching out, you know.
- 31:50Speaker 2: For me, it was very different. But I was not
- 31:52Speaker 2: a good relationship, you know, with with my mom. I
- 31:55Speaker 2: loved talking to my mom and hearing all her stories
- 31:57Speaker 2: about her patients and have hip hop back then, so
- 32:00Speaker 2: my mom can tell me, yeah, I loved it and
- 32:09Speaker 2: now yeah, I mean I was wanting to be an attorney.
- 32:12Speaker 1: As you can see if I come bad of Yes,
- 32:16Speaker 1: I love an argument, yea and yeah.
- 32:18Speaker 2: And I never really dreamed about being on a reality show.
- 32:23Speaker 1: I don't know if you did. I didn't even know
- 32:24Speaker 1: they existed.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Well, I mean, I didn't dream about it. But at
- 32:28Speaker 2: some point I was laying in my back watching TV.
- 32:32Speaker 2: I remember I was watching TV like in the early
- 32:34Speaker 2: two thousands.
- 32:35Speaker 1: I was watching Orange County because I would come home
- 32:38Speaker 1: from my PR firm in my events and I would
- 32:40Speaker 1: literally land back for two days straight and just watch
- 32:43Speaker 1: TV like a zombie. It was my therapy. And I
- 32:46Speaker 1: started watching Orange County and I thought, what is this
- 32:49Speaker 1: I want to do that, I can do that, I want.
- 32:51Speaker 2: To use that.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I thought that way you wanted to do it, and
- 32:55Speaker 1: my gut, I was like.
- 32:57Speaker 2: I gotta do that.
- 32:58Speaker 1: And who knew it was going to come wrong?
- 32:59Speaker 2: I end up doing that. I didn't even look for
- 33:01Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Yeah, it's just one of those unconscious manifestations. Anxiously manifest
- 33:10Speaker 1: a jet for us.
- 33:10Speaker 2: Yes, please, there's a lot of things I would want
- 33:13Speaker 2: you to manifest.
- 33:15Speaker 1: Yeah, you know, for me, it wasn't like that. I
- 33:17Speaker 1: never really watched these shows.
- 33:18Speaker 2: But my friends that would were like, if this ever
- 33:21Speaker 2: comes to Miami, you better try out because you're like thissper,
- 33:24Speaker 2: like you would be so good on the show. But
- 33:26Speaker 2: I never really watched the show. I still don't really
- 33:28Speaker 2: watch the show because it makes me like uncomfortable, and
- 33:32Speaker 2: watch the show because the reunions and watch I actually have,
- 33:36Speaker 2: but you know, you know what it is like I'm
- 33:38Speaker 2: part of it, Like I'm part of like every scene.
- 33:40Speaker 1: I see it all I know.
- 33:42Speaker 2: So what you guys see is different from me because
- 33:45Speaker 2: obviously I've been there longer. You know, we're there in
- 33:48Speaker 2: the scene, the scene takes much longer. So I know
- 33:51Speaker 2: you're just gonna get a snippet. You know, the show
- 33:53Speaker 2: can't be like only about me or about whatever scene
- 33:56Speaker 2: I'm in, So you know, I get it.
- 33:58Speaker 1: But you know, I do watch.
- 33:59Speaker 2: I'm just saying that I don't watch other franchise like
- 34:02Speaker 2: as much because I've never been that person, Like it
- 34:04Speaker 2: literally makes me uncomfortable to see other women fighting. Yeah,
- 34:08Speaker 2: I have to do it because I have to defend
- 34:10Speaker 2: myself and it's not fighting, you know, That's just the
- 34:12Speaker 2: way I talk.
- 34:12Speaker 1: You're in it, the train's moving, you got to keep
- 34:14Speaker 1: going to the train. You're like on that train, and
- 34:16Speaker 1: it's like you have to do it. So you have
- 34:19Speaker 1: to get me out of it because there's just a reunion,
- 34:21Speaker 1: So you better do it. Remember, I'm going to remind
- 34:24Speaker 1: you that little train choo choo choo juo. So, but
- 34:27Speaker 1: you didn't answer what you always got in trouble for
- 34:28Speaker 1: as a teen? Oh, I didn't hear that question. That
- 34:31Speaker 1: was the question I would always get in trouble for
- 34:34Speaker 1: having a big mouth. Oh yeah, I always had like
- 34:39Speaker 1: an answer, but respectful. You know.
- 34:41Speaker 2: I think back in the day, our parents didn't really
- 34:44Speaker 2: did teach us.
- 34:45Speaker 1: So I thought that I meet up. I mean, oh,
- 34:52Speaker 1: I've always been like that. No, I mean is just
- 34:56Speaker 1: like you.
- 34:57Speaker 2: I would always have like a reason and start in
- 35:00Speaker 2: my house. Well that's what I'm saying. So you're asking
- 35:03Speaker 2: me what would I get in trouble for. So I
- 35:05Speaker 2: learned to like kind of stay quiet. But I was like, no,
- 35:08Speaker 2: but just having like a different approach and getting it out.
- 35:10Speaker 2: I mean I would get in trouble for like, you know,
- 35:14Speaker 2: not getting home on time like they would tell me.
- 35:16Speaker 2: You know, your curfe is twelve o'clock and I would
- 35:18Speaker 2: get home at one o'clock in the morning. I was
- 35:20Speaker 2: in trouble.
- 35:21Speaker 1: Yeah, you know.
- 35:24Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 35:25Speaker 1: The only thing I got in trouble for was bad grades.
- 35:27Speaker 1: But oh no, I always got good grades. I never
- 35:29Speaker 1: got in trouble for them. I used to get some
- 35:31Speaker 1: spankings for bad grades. Yeah, it was. It was hard
- 35:34Speaker 1: for me. It was very hard for me. My reading
- 35:36Speaker 1: comprehension was very bad. My retention my friends, I know
- 35:41Speaker 1: you maybe that was in high school, but whatever schools
- 35:44Speaker 1: you went to, with teachers you had helped you a lot,
- 35:46Speaker 1: because I see you read your emails faster than everybody
- 35:49Speaker 1: and answering the questions and I answered wrong because I
- 35:52Speaker 1: so let me tell you something.
- 35:53Speaker 2: I always answered wrong, and they're like, that's not what
- 35:55Speaker 2: we asked you.
- 35:55Speaker 1: What. There's the dyslexia, right, I read it wrong and
- 35:58Speaker 1: I a slexia or the vodka.
- 36:01Speaker 2: No, man, that's not funny.
- 36:05Speaker 1: Yeah, so back grades, I'll get some spanking's eye befalls.
- 36:09Speaker 1: I don't like parents to be spanking their kids because
- 36:11Speaker 1: they get back grades, especially if they have, you know,
- 36:15Speaker 1: like a reading impediment or they have like some kind
- 36:17Speaker 1: of you know, I think learning problem.
- 36:20Speaker 2: You know, I don't think that's Back in the day
- 36:22Speaker 2: it was like that. It's different. Honestly, I didn't seem
- 36:24Speaker 2: bad wins and you're smart and you don't want to
- 36:26Speaker 2: study and you don't do your homework spanking or you're
- 36:29Speaker 2: screwing around Like I was home all the time.
- 36:31Speaker 1: I would just be there. You just were not interested. No,
- 36:34Speaker 1: I just it was hard for me by reading comprehensions,
- 36:37Speaker 1: very difficult, Like I read, well, you've come a long way,
- 36:39Speaker 1: my friend. You know that's look at you. You're reading
- 36:41Speaker 1: the questions for me. Well, they are like three word sentences.
- 36:45Speaker 1: I can't sail, like you set me up to win. Here, Yes,
- 36:48Speaker 1: you're winning, my friend. So what's one piece of advice
- 36:51Speaker 1: that you think everyone in their twenties needs to know?
- 36:55Speaker 2: Oh my god, I know it's not that bad.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Everything that we think is so bad and so chaotic,
- 37:04Speaker 1: and your world is going to end and this, you know,
- 37:06Speaker 1: the walls are crumbling down around you and it could
- 37:09Speaker 1: be the littlest thing. It's really not that bad. Another
- 37:13Speaker 1: day comes, people forget and everybody moves on. And the
- 37:16Speaker 1: thing you think is the biggest thing in the world
- 37:18Speaker 1: that's going to ruin your life and you lose sleepover
- 37:20Speaker 1: it really is not the biggest thing in the world.
- 37:23Speaker 1: It's just a hiccup in the road that soon will pass.
- 37:26Speaker 2: That's what, right. I like that advice. Yeah, that's very
- 37:30Speaker 2: good advice. It's very beautiful, and I think that does
- 37:33Speaker 2: a very important message to give to young people that
- 37:37Speaker 2: are sometimes don't have the capacity or the ability. They're
- 37:40Speaker 2: going through things, and they think it's the end of
- 37:41Speaker 2: the world, like you said, and they take their life
- 37:44Speaker 2: sometimes over silly like things. Maybe it feels like a
- 37:47Speaker 2: big thing to them. It's not silly, but you know,
- 37:49Speaker 2: if they wait it out, it becomes nothing.
- 37:53Speaker 1: Yes, I agree with that. And also, you know the
- 37:58Speaker 1: young people. You know, I feel like a lot of
- 38:01Speaker 1: young people want like shortcuts. You know, they're not willing
- 38:04Speaker 1: to put in the time to put in you know,
- 38:07Speaker 1: to put in the years, to put in the work,
- 38:09Speaker 1: to put in the effort. They want like instant gratification
- 38:11Speaker 1: right away. And you know, I believe that there's time
- 38:14Speaker 1: for everything. It's like slow down, you know, take a breath,
- 38:18Speaker 1: enjoy your life, enjoy your present. Yeah, but social media
- 38:21Speaker 1: is like maybe very different it's a big pressure that
- 38:23Speaker 1: they have. You know, everybody like wants to live how
- 38:27Speaker 1: the other person's living, which is all faked by the
- 38:29Speaker 1: way they see somebody going on a trip.
- 38:32Speaker 2: Oh I'm going to make it us. Oh like in
- 38:33Speaker 2: just like a twenty year old like influencer or whatever
- 38:35Speaker 2: and make it over. But you don't know how they
- 38:37Speaker 2: got there. You don't know if they who paid for it,
- 38:38Speaker 2: how they got there, what they're doing. So it's kind
- 38:40Speaker 2: of like stay focused. It's hard because it's a hard
- 38:43Speaker 2: work hard, stay in your own lane, don't compete with
- 38:45Speaker 2: anybody else, focus on your stuff.
- 38:48Speaker 1: And you know what, it's never too late. It's never
- 38:51Speaker 1: too late. You're only twenty. You know, look at us.
- 38:54Speaker 2: You know, I you know my my stage of my
- 38:56Speaker 2: twenties was different what I wanted in my twenties.
- 38:59Speaker 1: I didn't want my And it's never too late because
- 39:02Speaker 1: you could be who you want to be and do
- 39:03Speaker 1: what you want to do at any age in your life,
- 39:05Speaker 1: and you just have to want to do it. Some
- 39:07Speaker 1: of the wealthiest people in the world didn't even make
- 39:10Speaker 1: it till they were in their sixties and seventies, and so,
- 39:14Speaker 1: you know, don't rush yourself stay focused, don't get down
- 39:18Speaker 1: on yourself. Anybody can do anything. We live in the
- 39:20Speaker 1: United States, for God's sakes, anything is possible. You just
- 39:24Speaker 1: kind of have to keep plugging away, plug and away
- 39:28Speaker 1: and believe it that you can do it, and you
- 39:30Speaker 1: can do it. Amen, Amen to that. Okay.
- 39:33Speaker 2: Oh. Beauty and Lifestyle questions. Daily diet, what's.
- 39:37Speaker 1: It looking like this? Well? Yatoo? Savy.
- 39:41Speaker 2: Marisol's diet consists of when I you said you're vegan, well,
- 39:44Speaker 2: I'm plant based. I'm plant based. But after December thirty first,
- 39:48Speaker 2: I started having eggs.
- 39:50Speaker 1: It's January, broom, So do you incorporated eggs after December
- 39:54Speaker 1: thirty first?
- 39:54Speaker 2: Okay, incorporated eggs.
- 39:56Speaker 1: I've only had them twice and cay, no, I do,
- 39:59Speaker 1: but I just I keep forgetting I can have them.
- 40:01Speaker 1: I'm so used to eat every remind you tomorrow morning.
- 40:07Speaker 2: And you know, and you put a lot of salads, right, No,
- 40:11Speaker 2: I eat healthy because tad's are very healthy, and so
- 40:15Speaker 2: that's like rubbed off on me. And I actually like
- 40:17Speaker 2: a lot of salads. So I just kind of like
- 40:20Speaker 2: cut out my Cuban food, which is my weakness. But
- 40:24Speaker 2: I kind of like don't think about food like all
- 40:26Speaker 2: day long, I'm like that kind of eater. Then it's
- 40:28Speaker 2: not that I'm intentionally trying to fast. I'm just like,
- 40:31Speaker 2: don't think about food, and I'm not interested in food
- 40:33Speaker 2: during the day because I'm so busy. I'm doing so
- 40:35Speaker 2: many things that it's not even like in my radar.
- 40:38Speaker 1: Obviously, if I go to.
- 40:39Speaker 2: One lunch or something in a restaurant, I'm going to
- 40:41Speaker 2: eat because that's what I'm there for. But it's not
- 40:42Speaker 2: I don't even think about food. My favorite meal of
- 40:45Speaker 2: the day is dinner.
- 40:46Speaker 1: Oh.
- 40:46Speaker 2: I love to have dinner, like sit down and dinner
- 40:49Speaker 2: and have a glass of wine. And at dinner, I
- 40:52Speaker 2: eat whatever I want, you know, I eat everything like Steve. Yeah,
- 40:56Speaker 2: so you have like one good meal. Yeah, that's his
- 40:59Speaker 2: big meal. And my favorite meal is breakfast.
- 41:02Speaker 1: I know that.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Yeah. And then I'm you know why, because you don't
- 41:06Speaker 2: need anything for the rest of the day. So in
- 41:07Speaker 2: the morning, okay, same for you, that's your twenty four
- 41:11Speaker 2: hours exactly.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, okay, So basically we're fasting. Okay, good,
- 41:16Speaker 1: but you you're skinnier than me, So what am I
- 41:18Speaker 1: doing wrong? I'm smaller than I'm just a smaller like person,
- 41:22Speaker 1: I'm shorter, I'm an arrow. I like the way I
- 41:25Speaker 1: look and by the way you have muscles. I don't
- 41:29Speaker 1: what is your favorite fragrance to take that? So my fragrances,
- 41:34Speaker 1: I'm very particular with fragrances. I like more like woody,
- 41:38Speaker 1: I like more masculine sense. Oh really, a lot of
- 41:41Speaker 1: my fragrances are unisex. Is that why you give me
- 41:44Speaker 1: like big dig energy? Because I smell you that way? Listen,
- 41:50Speaker 1: I'll take to me. That's a compliment. I know, like
- 41:52Speaker 1: you we're trying to throw a dig at me. It's
- 41:54Speaker 1: actually a compliment because the only thing.
- 41:57Speaker 2: You should be proud.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 41:58Speaker 2: The only thing I I'm like jealous of is that
- 42:01Speaker 2: I don't have that big dick. I know, I just
- 42:03Speaker 2: smell like it.
- 42:05Speaker 1: But I don't know. I still don't know what brand
- 42:16Speaker 1: of foundation do you is? Should I have to go
- 42:20Speaker 1: in the bathroom and look, I forget the name of it.
- 42:22Speaker 1: What's that's not your No? What's that brand that I
- 42:24Speaker 1: had at my event? I forget? No, I don't use that.
- 42:28Speaker 1: Oh Patrick m Patrick McGrath, Pat McGrath, Yeah, Pat McGrath,
- 42:33Speaker 1: that's the foundation. Okay, that's good. I used that one too,
- 42:35Speaker 1: and I also use makeup forever. Oh that's good. The
- 42:37Speaker 1: little sticks are very good. M hmm, okay, well taking
- 42:43Speaker 1: chubby like you like? I like my drinks. Yeah. What's
- 42:48Speaker 1: your favorite skincare brand? I have so many. There's so
- 42:52Speaker 1: many great skincare brands out there. I am so simple.
- 42:57Speaker 2: I literally wantsine that's not even skincare.
- 43:00Speaker 1: Yeah that's not soap liquid soap, aquafor and some other
- 43:07Speaker 1: stuff that I that's like it's for people with eggs. M.
- 43:10Speaker 1: I've been using it since I'm thirty. I forget what
- 43:12Speaker 1: it's called. Lack hydrant. I put that on my skin.
- 43:14Speaker 1: Everyone's like, your skin is so beautiful. What do you do? Honestly,
- 43:18Speaker 1: my skincare costs probably one hundred dollars a year, not.
- 43:21Speaker 2: A year a year, but I went on, I'm very
- 43:25Speaker 2: high maintenance, so I don't use that. I don't use that,
- 43:32Speaker 2: but I do love I love to switch it up.
- 43:36Speaker 2: I have like post yeah, so I'll do like Nutrigena,
- 43:39Speaker 2: which I love as well. It's good. I love the
- 43:41Speaker 2: hydro boost. It's so refreshing. It's a water based.
- 43:44Speaker 1: Because I don't like so thick and creamy. I do
- 43:46Speaker 1: realize that when I need a hydration, I use it
- 43:48Speaker 1: at night. I love the Keels Ultra Facial cream. It's
- 43:52Speaker 1: really thick and yummy. Just for that. I kind of
- 43:56Speaker 1: have dry skin, so I need to hydrate. My mate
- 43:58Speaker 1: super dry dry skin. And La Mayer also I like,
- 44:02Speaker 1: but I like to switch it up. Yeah, I switch
- 44:04Speaker 1: it up. It's really good to switch up your skincare.
- 44:06Speaker 1: They say, just keeps your your your your skin glowing
- 44:10Speaker 1: and healthy. I'm just you know, I'm too.
- 44:12Speaker 2: Which one I love? Also the Charles, the Charlotte Tillsbury,
- 44:16Speaker 2: the Magic Cream. It's called the Magic Cream. The texture,
- 44:19Speaker 2: the texture is like divine. It's like smooth on your skin.
- 44:22Speaker 1: It's so good.
- 44:23Speaker 2: And the Underrege cream also, thank you watch What Happens Live.
- 44:27Speaker 2: They gave it to me and that's how I tried it.
- 44:29Speaker 2: I got booths and chocolate. It's nothing I could have.
- 44:33Speaker 2: No mescal, I hate me scal.
- 44:37Speaker 1: To. What's your favorite fashion store? Ooh?
- 44:42Speaker 2: I love fashion. I love shopping. So many stores that
- 44:45Speaker 2: I love, and now I'll have like a new love
- 44:48Speaker 2: for online shopping as well, because I don't have that
- 44:51Speaker 2: much time to go to the stores. I love online.
- 44:53Speaker 2: I never go to the store. Everything online. A lot
- 44:57Speaker 2: of these websites, like you know Forward, my Teresa. I
- 45:00Speaker 2: have got a lot of my Teresa. They have all
- 45:02Speaker 2: the designers. I have everything.
- 45:04Speaker 1: It's so easy, and they make it so easy. They
- 45:06Speaker 1: ship it right away, they make it so easy. Doesn't work.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Yeah, but you know what, I still love the old
- 45:13Speaker 2: fashioned shopping, Like going into the department store. Oh my god,
- 45:16Speaker 2: I get so happy. I'm like so happy, Like I
- 45:19Speaker 2: don't even think about food. I don't think about talking
- 45:22Speaker 2: to you, calling you on the phone. I don't know
- 45:25Speaker 2: anything out of the stores. I'm like disconnected. I'm like
- 45:29Speaker 2: in my element. I love a store. By the way,
- 45:32Speaker 2: I want to go shopping tomorrow. Oh I can't.
- 45:36Speaker 1: No, it's detail therapy.
- 45:40Speaker 2: I've got. And I spent a lot of money on
- 45:41Speaker 2: jewelry this year. I'm done shopping. I'm good. I'm good.
- 45:45Speaker 2: I love clothes. I love clothes.
- 45:47Speaker 1: I can do without the jewelry, but I love clothes.
- 45:50Speaker 2: But anyways, Yeah, so I love all the stores, of
- 45:53Speaker 2: all the designers.
- 45:54Speaker 1: I love shopping. Yeah, I know you do, all right,
- 45:58Speaker 1: So we're gonna wrap this up, my friend, And how
- 46:01Speaker 1: fun was this? I watched you and Margareta. I know, guys,
- 46:05Speaker 1: I had to eat a few French fries while I
- 46:07Speaker 1: was talking to you.
- 46:08Speaker 2: You couldn't tell you.
- 46:10Speaker 1: We can see it. You were quite eloquent. Oh, I
- 46:13Speaker 1: learned that from you, my friend.
- 46:15Speaker 2: Let's compliments. You think we do that we bigger, and
- 46:19Speaker 2: then we compliment each other and we're like, you're just
- 46:21Speaker 2: so amazing. You know how much I stop bigger with
- 46:24Speaker 2: my mother and my father, the people I love the
- 46:26Speaker 2: most in my life, that I have the same approach,
- 46:29Speaker 2: in the same attitude, right, so you know what I mean.
- 46:32Speaker 2: It's family.
- 46:33Speaker 1: That's what family does, all right. Well, thanks for tuning in, guys,
