but amen, I believe it's very important. I believe I take advantage of

the time with the Lord alone with you, amen, and just in a

quiet time, in a quiet space to start the day off. A lot

of days could be chaotic, and I know you know that, but we're

here on the Morning Devo. The power of prayer, that's what we're gonna

be talking about all week. This week, I'm gonna be talking about prayer

points, the power prayer all through the week because I believe strongly that a

lot of us are not praying the right prayers or afraid to praise certain prayers.

Because you think that God is not going to respond, or you think

that that's too much for God, or you think that's not appropriate to ask

God for or to do in your life. From here to tell you that

God wants us to speak to him. He wants us to bring everything we

have to him. He wants us to know that he's available, that he

cares for us, whether it's something huge according to our thinking or something small

according to our thinking. Every single detail of our lives God has already known

about, He will know about and if we speak to him. Amen,

we have this personal relationship with an almighty God, almighty but yet gentle spirit

God. Amen. And that's an amazing thing. That's very amazing. Amen.

The power of prayer. What are the most important prayers for you?

Like? You might need health in your body, you might need a financial

breakthrough, you might need help with your relationships. You might need favor in

your job or as a boss or as a business owner. You might need

something. You're gonna need something. I know I need some things. What

about you? The power prayer is there for that, for that very thing,

to help us understand, help us really reinvigorate ourselves, Amen, to

restore things that need to be restored by the power of prayer. And we're

praying not to the skise. We're not praying to the know an unknown God.

We're praying to a known God, a God who revealed himself through the

form of a man named Jesus. Amen. We're praying to a revealed God.

He reveals himself through his word, through creation, through people. Amen.

And he reveals himself. And when you pray to a God, he

responds Our a God response, my God response. He's not a God that

you pray to, a statue that you pray to that you continue to look

at and expect a response from a statue or idol, something made by man's

hands. No, God is not created by man. Man was created by

God. God is not created by man. Man was created by God a

man. So we're praying to a living, loving, holy, righteous God,

almighty omni present God, a God who is sovereign in control of every

single thing, including the devil, including the bad things that happen in my

life and the bad things that happen in your life, controlled by a powerful,

loving, holy, righteous God. Amen. The power prayer we're gonna

be in John chapter seventeen. Amen, and we're going to camp out of

certain verses. But if you take John seventeen and you look at it's called

the high priestly prayer. Amen, that's what we call it. It's a

prayer that Jesus prayed himself. And this is where a lot of people who

like to slick talk will say, well, if Jesus is God, why

is he praying to himself, how is he praying to himself? Or is

he a ventriloqus. This is what my Jehovah Witness friends often acts, and

it's real snobbish and it's not the point of the prayer. If I'm telling

you a story, I'm not going to tell you the story as if I'm

talking to myself, I'm going to tell you the story that I'm talking to

a god. So Jesus was showing us that he spoke to the Father.

I mean, I don't know, why is this so difficult to understand?

Yes, he is God one hundred percent and man one hundred percent. God

revealed himself through the form of a man named Jesus. That's the issue that

my Jehovah Witness friends and other people in other belief systems. That's why they

think that Jesus is not God because they think that he can't talk to himself.

the same person that I'm speaking to, so I don't know what the issue

is there. But anyway, the power of prayer today in the morning.

power prayer which is evident that every single person that I know who trusts and

believes in You, that when they pray for a thing, something happens.

And it might not happen the way we want it exactly to happen, but

Lo God, for caring so much that you provide way for us to communicate

with you daily. You provide access to the throne room of grace. Thank

you for loving us and care for us the way you do. You're an

of our soul. He's a hate of all God's creation. Whether you believe

in Jesus or not, whether you're an atheist, agnostic, cynic, or

if you're a skeptic, it doesn't matter. He hates all of God's creation.

You might think you're on the enemy side, even if you say you

worship him, right, he still hates you. You still create it in

the image of God. And he knows that. The thing is that a

lot of us don't know that. A lot of humans don't know that we're

created an the image of God. And then after we were created an image

of God, now we're created in the image of man. Right, my

son was created in the image of me, a man born into iniquity and

sin. Then he has the opportunity, as he got older to give his

life over to the Lord Jesus, to the Father, Heavenly Father, Amen,

and be born again. That's why Jesus said, you must be born

again to inherit the Kingdom of God. There is no other way to heaven

other through Him, Amen, And through the Kingdom of God for eternal life.

We wouldn't want to live forever in glory. I want to live forever

devot, let's see what the Word has for us today. We're going to

be in John chapter seventeen. In twenty four and twenty six. We to

concentrate there, but I want you to read the whole chapter for yourself when

you have time. John seventeen, a whole chapter. But let's go to

twenty four to twenty six. This is the Lord speaking. Father. I

desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me

where I am. So I always tell people God came to where I was

to take me to where He is. When I was drunk and high in

the December eleventh into the twelfth, right a drunken high out of my mind

in a studio in Allentown, Pennsylvania, in my home, my first home,

that I brought out here I was done. I was down to my

lowest because I did everything the world offered, and whatever the world offered had

a promise connected to it, and that promise was a lie and did not

fulfill or satisfy my soul. My spirit was still dried up. My soul

was still dried up. I was not satisfied. So I came to a

place where I was just done, calling out to a God that I didn't

know, that I didn't trust, and I'm praying to him, praying to

him in this room, in this studio in Allentown, Pennsylvania, way back

in two thousand and one, December eleventh, going into December twelfth. And

listen, he heard my cry. So the Lord knows the voices of his

people. The Lord hears the cry of your personhood. Right. He knows

that you need him, He knows that you're in need, so he will

answer. He will respond according to the need that you have. And I

believe that we all need to be saved. We all need to be rescued,

we all need to be restored, we all need to be redeemed.

We all need love, the love that God demonstrates through his son Jesus,

Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may

be with me where I am to see my glory that you have given me

because you loved me before the foundation of the world Verse twenty five, All

Righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, right, Bible's

very honest. Jesus is very honest. The scripture right here is very honest,

All Righteous Father. Even though the world does not know you, I

know you, and these know that have sent me Verse twenty six. I

made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known

that the love with which you have loved me may be in them and I

in them Union with Christ. This is a power awful thing. This is

what Jesus spoke. This is what it's called the high priestly prayer. This

is the wish of Jesus. This is the desire of our Lord and our

Savior that will be one with the Father, that whoever he was sent,

it was given. No one can snatch us out of the Lord's hand.

The power prayer is amazing because we are connecting with the God who created us.

We're connecting with a God who gives us creativity. We're connecting to the

God who shows up in Genesis as creator God in the beginning, God created.

He shows up as Creator, and we see his works, we see

his mercy, We receive his forgiveness, we receive his power and authority by

way of his Holy Spirit. So we're praying to the real One. We're

praying to the only God in heaven and earth. We're praying to the one,

true, living, holy, righteous, loving God. We're not praying

to an idol. We're not praying to Greek God, a mythology or anything

like that. We're praying to a God who's alive, a God who has

made known a man through creation, through the love that he has expressed for

us, through the love that he has made known by the demonstration of what

the Lord Jesus has done for us. Right, we know that prayer works.

We know that the prayer works. If you don't know that prayer works,

start praying, start praying in the name of Jesus, a man,

ask him who he is and what's going on? Asking what's going on in

your life? Right? Instead of asking why things happen, ask Gott,

what should we be learning from what's happening? And man, there's a lot

going on, and my life is a lot going on in your life,

so to be honest, we all are in need of something. There's not

anybody that I know, whether you're a maennaire, billionaire, a star,

movie star, an athlete, somebody very popular on social media, influence or

whatever, you still have a need. There's nothing that this world will offer

us that will fulfill all our needs or the voice that are in our hearts.

Only God could fill his voids properly and correctly and can satisfy our soul.

Only God could do that. Love. Everybody's looking for love one way

or another. Even a person who's angry all the time is looking for some

one to be loved by them, or someone to love them, someone they

could love, or someone that they want to be loved by. The prayers

could be of thanksgiving. The prayers could be of the Lord's prayer. The

prayers could be the prayer of Jabez, when we see in the scriptures,

will be going through those this week. Jesus to his disciples how to pray.

The Bible tells us the entire way of how to enter into His gates

with what thanksgiving, And I spoke on that plenty of here in the morning

evo. When you're thankful, no matter what's going on in your life,

I'm gonna still thank God. And the enemy hates that. He says,

I gave. I hit them with sickness, I hit them with temptation,

I hit them with lustful desires. I hit them with wrongful thinking, and

lead to death. How they're still thinking God? He hates that. It

gives him a headache. Well, because we know the scriptures. The Bible

says, submit to God. So when I'm thankful to God, I'm submitting

my will, my purpose all to him. I'm trusting God through the Lord

Jesus. Submit to God. Resist the devil. Put up a fight.

The Bible says, fight the good fight of faith. Put up a fight.

Don't let the enemy win every single time he shows up. Don't let

the enemy win every time he tempts you to do something. Put up a

fight. And then the Bible says, if you submit to God, first,

resist the devil. Guess who's going be running out of here. The

devil, the enemy will flee. Amen for a time, just like he

left for a time when he was tempting Jesus, our Lord. He was

testing God's humanity. He wasn't testing God's deity, because God cannot be tempted.

And what did Jesus do. He said, the word says, the

every morning to wake up and my family. I'm not myself. Every morning

I wake up, my depression is acting up. I don't like that.

Do I cry and think a lot? I wish it would go away.

In Jesus' name, depression be gone, The peace of God be in you,

the piece of God be upon you. Why because you believe in the

Prince of Peace, which is the Lord Jesus Christ. I command any depression

Return no more. And if you do return, you will have to go

through the gates of thanksgiving, through the gates of joy, and depression cannot

live in a child, a daughter of the King. And I thank you

Jesus is in the presence right of a mighty Father who loves him, and

is not this is not logical. And all these intellectual people are saying this,

and they're saying that. Listen, if I'm telling you a story,

tell you who I was speaking to. I could tell you who was speaking

that. I can introduce you to my father when he was on earth.

Amen. And we know you know it's not the same person, men,

But in the Triune God that we serve, the same person is in communication

with the same person. In other words, there was already love among the

Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. But he loved so much

because God is love that created us a man so that this God could have

communication with us. And he offers us a way for us to communicate with

him. It's called prayer. Ladies and gentlemen, people say all we can

do is pray. You ever heard that expression and said, we've done everything

else, now all we could do is pray. The first thing we should

be doing is praying, and then everything else should come after. That is

if you're communicating with the chief cornerstone, the commander, the one who can

fix things, the one who knows things before they happen, the one who

is all powerful, all knowledgeable, a man, all loving, all just,

all kind, all patient, a man all long suffering. He knows

our hearts, He knows our heart's desires. He designed us with desires,

He put those desires in our hearts. But what happens is if we're not

praying, if we're not having a discussion, we don't have a relationship with

the God of having the earth. Then we're trying to tell God that we

need to do things on ourselves, all by ourselves, and we don't.

We got this, We don't need God. And if you know the truth

about that, Amen, you know anything about life, you know that we

do need God daily. There's not one day that I don't need God.

I need God on a day to day. Amen. What about you?

What about you think about it, so John seventeen. They call it Jesus

High priestly prayer. Amen, these are some honest prayers. You could see

that. Jesus says in that prayer. Do I have it here? He

says, I desire that they also whom you have given me, maybe with

me where I am right, and it's the honesty is here. I may

know to them your name, and I will continue to make it known that

the love with which you have loved me may be in them and I in

them. Right, And the Bible says Jesus says, the world does not

know you, right. The world does not know you. The world doesn't

know the true God. The only way I found out about the love of

God and the true God is when I called out to him. Listen.

I didn't call on the name of Jesus, because the Bible does say call

upon the name of the Jesus. Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord

shall be saved. I didn't know that Scripture number one, number two.

I didn't believe in this God, otherwise I would have turned to him years

before. But he knew my voice, He heard my voice, and he

knew my heart. He knew who I was calling to. Amen. So

whether you do it by the scriptures and before Jesus, I believe none of

us do it by the scriptures before Jesus. We don't know. Amen.

Some people do the prayer of salvation and it asks Jesus in their lives.

But ask God, whoever that God was, to answer to my life.

And I did that, and it's sort of a prayer. I was drunk

and high in two thousand and one, and here we are, so many

years later, and I still believe there's something about that. So I'm out
