- 3:19Speaker 1: we're active in the algo, that means we're getting closer

- 3:27Speaker 1: thousand subscribers and that is what we want. Yeah, so
- 3:30Speaker 1: if you could help us, we would love that thing.
- 3:32Speaker 1: You'll thing good. I'm on one. This was a boring episode.
- 3:41Speaker 1: It was it was a shorty episode. Normally they're like
- 3:44Speaker 1: a full hour, this one was just half an hour.
- 3:48Speaker 3: We don't have a whole lot going on.
- 3:50Speaker 1: This is probably going to be a short podcast, but
- 3:53Speaker 1: without further ado, take it away be address Season seven,
- 3:56Speaker 1: episode three entitled.
- 3:57Speaker 2: The Big Decision. Oh my god. Apparently it's been two
- 4:03Speaker 2: weeks after their big pitch. That was an absolute colossal
- 4:07Speaker 2: it's a show, what's a ship show? It was so bad,
- 4:11Speaker 2: and so they're waiting to hear back from the big
- 4:15Speaker 2: venture capitalists. I think Stan is going to meet them
- 4:18Speaker 2: in a couple of days, and Robin says, it's urgent.
- 4:22Speaker 2: It's urgent because we have all these expenses and everything.
- 4:25Speaker 2: We really need this money.
- 4:26Speaker 3: So that's weird.
- 4:28Speaker 1: So maybe we could spend just a couple of seconds
- 4:30Speaker 1: on that, like, why do they really need this money?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Have they over extended themselves?
- 4:34Speaker 1: Maybe in the cul de sac I mean, and we
- 4:37Speaker 1: also know that they had the commitment ceremony and they
- 4:39Speaker 1: built all that infrastructure and Robin's backyard probably cost them
- 4:44Speaker 1: tens of thousands of dollars. Now, was that out of
- 4:47Speaker 1: the largesse of the TLC Family Fund thing?
- 4:50Speaker 2: Maybe?
- 4:51Speaker 1: Or are they looking for ways to just get their
- 4:55Speaker 1: hands on money.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I think that's what it is.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I'm a desperate for money.
- 4:58Speaker 2: I think Robin needs some American dolls and that's why
- 5:01Speaker 2: she's worried about.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Yeah, and she.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Needs money to fund her doing absolutely nothing so that
- 5:07Speaker 2: way she can have a baby, right, And then they
- 5:10Speaker 2: just put it in a business fund or something that
- 5:12Speaker 2: they siphon out of.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:13Speaker 1: So it just seems kind of weird to me that
- 5:16Speaker 1: they're grubbing for this money so hard, especially with Christine
- 5:20Speaker 1: saying last week like, well, we just don't want to
- 5:22Speaker 1: like get too much of your money though, because then
- 5:23Speaker 1: we'll be lazy and not do anything.
- 5:25Speaker 2: But we want just enough that will light a fire
- 5:28Speaker 2: under our asses so we won't get sued and have
- 5:30Speaker 2: to pay it exactly.
- 5:32Speaker 1: So that was like saying the quiet part out loud
- 5:34Speaker 1: to me, Like they don't really want to work for
- 5:36Speaker 1: this money, No, they just want to get free stuff.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yeah, especially Cody and Robin, I think. And then while
- 5:42Speaker 2: they're waiting to meet with Stan, we have Mary going
- 5:45Speaker 2: to Utah because I think she's gonna go check the
- 5:47Speaker 2: house or whatever, no mistory, and she wants to go
- 5:54Speaker 2: hang out with her fake ass friend Sue Ellen. Apparently
- 5:57Speaker 2: they were best friends in kindergarten and then never talk
- 6:00Speaker 2: to each other for thirty years after.
- 6:01Speaker 1: That with the greatest haircut of two thy and fourteen,
- 6:06Speaker 1: super Ellen just walking up in the joint with that, Hi,
- 6:09Speaker 1: can I speak to your manager?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Hairhut? I loved it.
- 6:12Speaker 3: It was great.
- 6:13Speaker 2: I wish we could find a wig like that. I
- 6:14Speaker 2: would wear that on the pod.
- 6:15Speaker 1: Oh, I'm sure there's a can I speak to that?
- 6:18Speaker 1: I'm sure there's a Kate Goslin wig. Oh, they're probably
- 6:21Speaker 1: where's my phone? Right?
- 6:23Speaker 3: We're ordering it by end of today, we have to.
- 6:27Speaker 2: And then we also have Janelle climbing a rock wall
- 6:31Speaker 2: with her trainer at the gym.
- 6:33Speaker 3: And Logan and Logan.
- 6:34Speaker 1: It was nice to see young Logan supporting his mama.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Yeah, and Janelle's like not into it, Like she doesn't
- 6:41Speaker 2: want to have to climb this rock wall.
- 6:43Speaker 1: Janelle want to be a spectacle on the show. If
- 6:45Speaker 1: Janelle have to be on the show, she would love it.
- 6:48Speaker 1: But she knows she has to create content and this
- 6:51Speaker 1: is the is her fitness journey, right, And so her
- 6:55Speaker 1: personal trainer, who also wants camera time, wants Janelle to
- 6:59Speaker 1: get her this wall.
- 7:02Speaker 3: And it's not big.
- 7:02Speaker 1: I'm not saying it's big, but like that rude, mean,
- 7:05Speaker 1: it's kind of big, and she's telling us it's big.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Yeah, she told us she did.
- 7:09Speaker 3: Before she got on the wall.
- 7:10Speaker 1: She's like, I got a big, old ass, and this
- 7:12Speaker 1: weight isn't moving. And I've been doing this for an
- 7:15Speaker 1: entire year.
- 7:16Speaker 3: I'm not losing any weight. It's a mystery to me.
- 7:19Speaker 2: It's a mystery.
- 7:20Speaker 1: I don't understand how this could be happening. But maybe
- 7:22Speaker 1: if I climb this wall, everything will be better.
- 7:26Speaker 2: And like the symbolism there is like, Okay, you just
- 7:29Speaker 2: have to get over the hurdle, which is yourself. Maybe
- 7:33Speaker 2: don't eat a bunch of ice cream late at night
- 7:35Speaker 2: or drink a whole bottle of wine.
- 7:36Speaker 1: It's the wine while she's bookkeeping. It's it's the whole
- 7:40Speaker 1: jug of wine. My parents were like terrible alcoholics, and
- 7:45Speaker 1: back in the day, you could get like an entire
- 7:47Speaker 1: jug if I think it was like pal massan red
- 7:51Speaker 1: wine or white wine. It was like a whole gallon
- 7:54Speaker 1: and my dad and mom would bust through that in
- 7:56Speaker 1: a night.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Wow.
- 7:58Speaker 3: So that's what we got Janelle doing.
- 8:00Speaker 1: She just fel like she's probably snacking while she's drinking
- 8:02Speaker 1: pass wine and so yeah, get your ass up on
- 8:05Speaker 1: that wall now.
- 8:05Speaker 3: And so she tries.
- 8:06Speaker 2: She does, but it's scary, and it's so scary.
- 8:09Speaker 1: She goes up like one or two. It's so I
- 8:11Speaker 1: absolutely can't do this. This is just not something that's
- 8:15Speaker 1: in my wheelhouse. And so she repels back down the
- 8:18Speaker 1: one to two feet that she and then the personal
- 8:22Speaker 1: trainer gives her some sort of motivational speech, you know,
- 8:25Speaker 1: you got this.
- 8:26Speaker 2: All you have to do is prove it to yourself.
- 8:28Speaker 2: You've gotta by there. So cringe, dude.
- 8:32Speaker 3: And so then Janelle has a mindset shift.
- 8:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:35Speaker 1: She's like, Okay, I'm gonna try it again. And I
- 8:37Speaker 1: think she gets about six feet up.
- 8:38Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, and she's like, oh my god, I did.
- 8:40Speaker 1: It amazing six feet out of a thirty foot wall.
- 8:44Speaker 3: And I feel good about it.
- 8:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 8:46Speaker 3: I mean, if you like it, I love it.
- 8:48Speaker 2: That's great. I'm glad that she had a little bit
- 8:50Speaker 2: of confidence or whatever. That's awesome. And I did like
- 8:53Speaker 2: that Logan was there supporting his mama. That was sweet.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Logan all fit and stuff, you know, it's great. I
- 8:58Speaker 2: think he like ends up in like kinesiology or something
- 9:02Speaker 2: like physical fitness at his college, so he's like actually
- 9:05Speaker 2: going to school for this kind.
- 9:06Speaker 3: Of stuff I did not know that.
- 9:08Speaker 1: I thought, like in current year for Our Lord twenty
- 9:10Speaker 1: twenty five, he was like in finance or something.
- 9:12Speaker 2: Yeah, probably now, but like back when he was going
- 9:15Speaker 2: to college, he like majored in that I think. Don't
- 9:17Speaker 2: quote me on it, but yeah, so him being all fit.
- 9:20Speaker 2: But you know, he's like, good job, mom, and yeah,
- 9:23Speaker 2: a good job, you know, and that's it.
- 9:25Speaker 1: Yeah, Well, we love logan. This podcast is pro logan.
- 9:29Speaker 2: I do love logan. He's great. And then we bop
- 9:32Speaker 2: on over to Lehigh, Utah. Oh, I'm sorry, sorry, did
- 9:37Speaker 2: I wake he.
- 9:37Speaker 3: He knotted off there for a second.
- 9:40Speaker 2: And Mary is at their oldly High house, which apparently
- 9:44Speaker 2: is like flooded or had a flood or something, and
- 9:47Speaker 2: so they're doing some construction or whatever and this house
- 9:50Speaker 2: looks booty eight f man. Apparently it was like a
- 9:54Speaker 2: really bad flood. It was like inches of water. So
- 9:57Speaker 2: they're trying to figure it out. And then Mary's like, oh, okay,
- 10:00Speaker 2: will you guys deal with that. I'm gonna go hang
- 10:01Speaker 2: out with my friends Sue Ellen and I haven't seen
- 10:03Speaker 2: in thirty years. And she goes and meets her at
- 10:05Speaker 2: some coffee shop and I'm just like, why right, literally.
- 10:10Speaker 1: Lay well to once again talk about their history in polygamy.
- 10:15Speaker 1: And we've got Christine on the couch talking about how
- 10:19Speaker 1: she grew up in such fear because her grandfather was
- 10:22Speaker 1: a polygamist and her father was a polygamist, and Mary
- 10:26Speaker 1: talks about which I did think was interesting the fact
- 10:31Speaker 1: that I think Mary's father was excommunicated from the tread
- 10:36Speaker 1: Lds Church by Suellyn's grandfather, Yeah, who was sitting on
- 10:40Speaker 1: the board of collob and he said, you can't come
- 10:43Speaker 1: into the planet.
- 10:45Speaker 2: Sorry about Satan.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Yeah, so you and all your wives and stuff, you
- 10:48Speaker 1: go find yourself a different religion, which they did, which
- 10:50Speaker 1: is the aub And so then Mary's dad moved in
- 10:54Speaker 1: his mistress to their little townhouse and they had neighbors
- 10:57Speaker 1: or something. Yeah, and they always wondered, we'll do the
- 10:59Speaker 1: nameighbors know that there's multiple wives in this townhouse.
- 11:03Speaker 3: And so then we met the neighbors.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, and the neighbors are like, yeah, we've been knowing.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Like also, we have a television, so we did learn
- 11:11Speaker 1: about it too, and.
- 11:11Speaker 2: We knew already. Yeah, but it's fine. It's cool that
- 11:14Speaker 2: you had one of your moms in the basement down there,
- 11:17Speaker 2: like the Barbarian That's when it made me think of
- 11:22Speaker 2: the house look like the Barbarian house. It was so weird.
- 11:28Speaker 3: Oh no, it was kind of you have to see that.
- 11:32Speaker 2: It was bizarre, but I mean cool, I guess your
- 11:35Speaker 2: old man neighbor who's like ninety five, was like, yeah,
- 11:38Speaker 2: we know, it's fine. Nobody cares.
- 11:41Speaker 1: It's like they tapped out all of the people that
- 11:44Speaker 1: they can reveal their polygamy to, like there's nobody else left.
- 11:47Speaker 3: They've got to go.
- 11:48Speaker 1: Back into like nineteen seventy five, Kiddinggarten, a neighbor who's
- 11:53Speaker 1: now ninety five years old you can't see or is
- 11:56Speaker 1: not like in his right mind, and he's.
- 11:57Speaker 3: Like, okay, nice to meet you.
- 11:59Speaker 2: It's fine, and you leave.
- 12:00Speaker 1: Now this is weird for everybody.
- 12:03Speaker 2: It's super weird. And then we have to hear again
- 12:06Speaker 2: about how like when they were kids they had to
- 12:09Speaker 2: keep secrets, and Christine's like, my dad did nothing wrong
- 12:13Speaker 2: except have another wife. He did nothing wrong. He was
- 12:16Speaker 2: such a great guy, except that he had their wife.
- 12:18Speaker 1: Fast forward in the timeline to twenty twenty five, and
- 12:21Speaker 1: you're speaking out against.
- 12:23Speaker 2: Polygamy and your religion.
- 12:25Speaker 3: What I found.
- 12:25Speaker 1: Interesting though, was like Robin on the couch too, saying, yeah,
- 12:29Speaker 1: it was really hard to live that way, to live
- 12:31Speaker 1: in polygamy until like have to lie. I'm like, but
- 12:33Speaker 1: wait a minute, Hey, when did your mom become the
- 12:37Speaker 1: mistress of that old guy that you call your dad? Yeah,
- 12:40Speaker 1: weren't you like in high school.
- 12:42Speaker 3: It's not like you grew up in polygamy.
- 12:45Speaker 2: Miss me with that. She's such a liar.
- 12:47Speaker 3: She is such a dancing liar girl.
- 12:52Speaker 2: Dancing liar actually though. And then we bought back on
- 12:56Speaker 2: over to Vegas where we have everybody home now and
- 12:59Speaker 2: they're preparing for their big meeting with Stan, and they're
- 13:02Speaker 2: talking about all the reasons why they want the money
- 13:05Speaker 2: and why they need the money, and you have Christine
- 13:07Speaker 2: being like, yeah, I really want it because I want
- 13:09Speaker 2: to grow the business, and all of the older kids
- 13:11Speaker 2: are like, yeah, we definitely need the money to grow
- 13:14Speaker 2: the business. And then Robin's like, I need the money
- 13:16Speaker 2: so I can have a life and have a kid.
- 13:19Speaker 1: So I can have a baby. But you do have
- 13:22Speaker 1: the older kids saying like, and I'd like to go
- 13:25Speaker 1: to college too, So it feels like some of the
- 13:28Speaker 1: parents have been talking to Maddie Hunter and all the
- 13:33Speaker 1: kids about how like, look, if this doesn't work out
- 13:36Speaker 1: for us, you might have to find your own way
- 13:38Speaker 1: to college and pay your own way through college.
- 13:41Speaker 3: It kind of felt like that a little bit.
- 13:43Speaker 2: And that's kind of crazy to me because I'm just like,
- 13:44Speaker 2: why are you making your finances like known to your children?
- 13:48Speaker 2: That's inappropriate and also fuck y'all, like you spent all
- 13:51Speaker 2: this money on these culdest at homes, which is cool
- 13:54Speaker 2: and all that we're back as like a family, but
- 13:57Speaker 2: like dad has this little sports car, and he's got
- 13:59Speaker 2: his watches, and he's got or Robin's got her fake
- 14:03Speaker 2: nails and all this other bullshit. Like they're seeing where
- 14:06Speaker 2: the money's going. They're not dumb. And so now you're
- 14:08Speaker 2: gonna say we need investor money, which is supposed to
- 14:12Speaker 2: go to the business so that way we can go
- 14:13Speaker 2: to college. Whack damn whack as fuck. And then we
- 14:17Speaker 2: get to the actual meeting with Stan and all the
- 14:20Speaker 2: other venture capitalists, and Stan says their biggest concern is
- 14:25Speaker 2: that all of these people are visiting the website and
- 14:27Speaker 2: they're not buying any of your jank ass, booty ass jewelry. Duh,
- 14:31Speaker 2: and Robin's like, yeah, so were a theory is just
- 14:33Speaker 2: that we don't have enough selection, so we need the
- 14:36Speaker 2: money so that way I can brainstorm and write it
- 14:38Speaker 2: on my notepad and design more jewelry for people to buy,
- 14:42Speaker 2: so that way when they go to the website they
- 14:44Speaker 2: have more options.
- 14:45Speaker 1: I don't understand this thought process because you have. I
- 14:50Speaker 1: think they said sixty products, yeah, that they're currently offering
- 14:55Speaker 1: on their janky ass copycat website. Because, as we've discussed before,
- 15:00Speaker 1: they actually took this entire idea. They stole this idea
- 15:04Speaker 1: from an established business called My Sister's Closet.
- 15:06Speaker 3: Yeah, and even the.
- 15:08Speaker 1: Website was very similar, but instead of being pink like
- 15:11Speaker 1: My Sister's Closet, it was purple because.
- 15:13Speaker 2: Robin loves purple.
- 15:16Speaker 1: But like, how is it that you would think that
- 15:18Speaker 1: you're offering sixty products that what your website and business
- 15:23Speaker 1: needs is more products that people are not buying?
- 15:26Speaker 2: Yeah, what a joke. How do you how do we
- 15:29Speaker 2: for me?
- 15:30Speaker 1: I'd be like, well, maybe it's my shopping experience, maybe
- 15:33Speaker 1: it's the website, maybe it's our messaging, our marketing. Are
- 15:36Speaker 1: we like canvassing the people who are buying and are
- 15:40Speaker 1: we trying to catch the people who visit but then leave,
- 15:44Speaker 1: like with a follow up email, like what are we
- 15:47Speaker 1: doing to try and gather information as to why they're
- 15:49Speaker 1: not purchasing?
- 15:49Speaker 2: But I don't do that.
- 15:51Speaker 1: They just assume that what we really need is more
- 15:54Speaker 1: what I got, exactly more of this divine inspiration, right
- 15:58Speaker 1: I got.
- 15:59Speaker 2: There's no reflect of like, well, maybe people just don't
- 16:02Speaker 2: like our jewelry, or maybe people don't jive with the designs.
- 16:05Speaker 2: Maybe we should do other things like T shirts or
- 16:08Speaker 2: mugs or whatever, which we've talked about before, Like there's nothing.
- 16:11Speaker 2: They just think what they got is gold. Like Cody said,
- 16:15Speaker 2: the might's touch.
- 16:15Speaker 1: But it's not selling. And you know, the other wives
- 16:19Speaker 1: have been suggesting different types of products. We've got Christine
- 16:24Speaker 1: who wants home goods. We've got Janelle who wants plus
- 16:27Speaker 1: size Mormon clothing and stuff. So we have other ideas,
- 16:30Speaker 1: but at this time, none of them are actually in production.
- 16:34Speaker 1: We're not featuring any of them. So it really does
- 16:36Speaker 1: feel like it is Robin's passion slash vanity project definitely,
- 16:42Speaker 1: And the reason it's not succeeding therefore is because of
- 16:45Speaker 1: Robin exactly.
- 16:46Speaker 2: And Cody, but Okay, we need this money though, so
- 16:49Speaker 2: Robin can have a life because she's working so hard. Yeah, whack.
- 16:53Speaker 2: And then we have another investor I think her name
- 16:55Speaker 2: was Amy or something, had said at the meeting that
- 16:59Speaker 2: Chris made a comment about being lazy and complacent, and
- 17:03Speaker 2: this is where Cody's like, what you said that, And
- 17:07Speaker 2: we'd get to the flashback of what Christine really said,
- 17:10Speaker 2: which was, yeah, we need your money so that way
- 17:14Speaker 2: we can feel motivated to actually pay you back and
- 17:18Speaker 2: actually do a bunch of hard work to pay you
- 17:20Speaker 2: back and give you a return on your investment. And
- 17:24Speaker 2: Christine on the Couch didn't realize that what she had
- 17:27Speaker 2: said was so bad, which was just like really though,
- 17:30Speaker 2: I mean, feeling you're pretty obvious.
- 17:32Speaker 3: I think she thought that she was cooking.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I think she thought she was doing great because she
- 17:37Speaker 1: was able to string sentences together and again calling into
- 17:40Speaker 1: question the general.
- 17:41Speaker 3: IQ of all of these people.
- 17:42Speaker 1: They didn't understand that that was like such a tragic
- 17:45Speaker 1: thing to say. In the moment, they thought that they
- 17:47Speaker 1: did great well.
- 17:48Speaker 2: And I felt really bad for Christine on the couch
- 17:50Speaker 2: because she felt super guilty, and I felt like off camera,
- 17:54Speaker 2: sure Cody was probably making her feel like a piece
- 17:57Speaker 2: of shit and a stupid piece of shit. And Cody
- 17:59Speaker 2: even tried to like go in on her a little
- 18:02Speaker 2: bit on the couch, and Robin actually stops him and
- 18:04Speaker 2: is like, she's taking ownership for it, like it's fine,
- 18:07Speaker 2: which I thought was kind of an interesting moment, and
- 18:10Speaker 2: Cody's like, shut up, let me talk basically, and goes
- 18:14Speaker 2: in on it. And then they all kind of wrap
- 18:17Speaker 2: around and they're like, well, no, but you did really well, Christine.
- 18:19Speaker 2: It's okay. And Janelle's like it's a miscommunication, like it's fine,
- 18:24Speaker 2: like we get it. But you can see it all
- 18:25Speaker 2: over Christine's face that she feels like a stupid piece
- 18:28Speaker 2: of shit, and I feel bad for her.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Honestly, I did as well, and I thought Robin interjecting
- 18:33Speaker 1: herself was performative. I think Robin and Cody have been
- 18:37Speaker 1: talking about that for weeks, if not months, by the
- 18:39Speaker 1: time they land on that couch. Probably yes, stupid Christine
- 18:42Speaker 1: made them look and how Christine probably ruined their business
- 18:46Speaker 1: opportunity or made them get less money because of her comment,
- 18:49Speaker 1: as if it's not their fucking fault, right, and then
- 18:53Speaker 1: Stan ultimately offers them two hundred and fifty thousand to
- 18:57Speaker 1: five hundred thousand for only a five percent stake, so
- 19:00Speaker 1: it is definitely less than what they were asking. I
- 19:02Speaker 1: think they were asking for like two million, two point
- 19:05Speaker 1: five million for twenty percent of the business, So it
- 19:07Speaker 1: is less. So I mean that's kind of a range though,
- 19:09Speaker 1: don't you think two hundred and fifty thousand to five
- 19:12Speaker 1: hundred thought?
- 19:12Speaker 3: Okay, well how much is it?
- 19:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 19:14Speaker 1: And in exchange for how much of the business was
- 19:16Speaker 1: it five percent? Yeah, my senses, I don't think they
- 19:21Speaker 1: ever see this money.
- 19:22Speaker 2: Probably not.
- 19:23Speaker 1: I know that you said last week that you think
- 19:24Speaker 1: they do. Can somebody tell us out there via IGDM
- 19:28Speaker 1: or on YouTube, like do they actually get the money?
- 19:31Speaker 1: Because I feel like this was just filmed to play Kate.
- 19:34Speaker 2: The Browns kind of felt like it, And I mean
- 19:37Speaker 2: if they actually did give the money, that is the
- 19:39Speaker 2: dumbest investment opportunity ever. Like, you are never going to
- 19:43Speaker 2: see that money back. They're never going to pay that
- 19:45Speaker 2: shit back. They can't even pay their cul de sac
- 19:48Speaker 2: Holmes off because they just end up leaving it right
- 19:51Speaker 2: before it's due, so they just fucking go to flag Staff.
- 19:54Speaker 2: So I don't know. I thought it was crazy that
- 19:57Speaker 2: they even offered the money. I thought maybe TLC was like,
- 20:00Speaker 2: just say this for the cameras so that way it
- 20:02Speaker 2: doesn't look like a colossal failure and then we'll go
- 20:05Speaker 2: on your merry way. And then Stan also says that
- 20:08Speaker 2: they will reevaluate in six months, which means that they
- 20:11Speaker 2: got to, you know, get their shit together in six
- 20:14Speaker 2: months and make it seem like they actually care about
- 20:17Speaker 2: the business.
- 20:17Speaker 1: But like, there weren't any progress points that he was
- 20:22Speaker 1: referring to, Like does that mean we need to have
- 20:24Speaker 1: a certain amount of sales within six months? Does that
- 20:26Speaker 1: mean we need to have a bunch of new products?
- 20:29Speaker 1: Like this is why you know this is obviously just
- 20:31Speaker 1: a sham. I'm just because they're not actually talking any business.
- 20:34Speaker 2: No, they're not at all. And then at the end
- 20:37Speaker 2: of the episode, the Browns are like, Yeah, this is
- 20:40Speaker 2: cool that we're getting money because we're gonna use it
- 20:43Speaker 2: to design more products.
- 20:45Speaker 1: God, and we all know how that worked out.
- 20:48Speaker 2: Yeah, And they do say that if it doesn't work out,
- 20:51Speaker 2: they'll end up with a lot of debt, so like, okay,
- 20:54Speaker 2: but are you gonna pay it though, or are you
- 20:56Speaker 2: just gonna like file for bankruptcy like right. I feel
- 20:59Speaker 2: like they know how to game the system a bit.
- 21:02Speaker 2: So sure you're worried about having debt, but you're not
- 21:05Speaker 2: going to do jack shit.
- 21:06Speaker 1: And that's why I think they didn't get the money
- 21:08Speaker 1: because if they did and then they didn't pay it back,
- 21:11Speaker 1: which we know they didn't, because they wouldn't have because
- 21:14Speaker 1: the proof of concept of the business is like that,
- 21:16Speaker 1: it's a failure, so they would never have been able
- 21:18Speaker 1: to pay them back. Then they would have been sued
- 21:20Speaker 1: by now right, and people would have been talking about that.
- 21:22Speaker 3: So I don't think this ever happens.
- 21:24Speaker 2: I don't think so either. And if it did, they
- 21:27Speaker 2: didn't deserve it at all, because you know that they
- 21:29Speaker 2: took like it was probably codyum Robin taking all of
- 21:32Speaker 2: that money or they put it in like a family
- 21:34Speaker 2: fund or something, and they just siphoned all that money
- 21:37Speaker 2: for all of her bullshit. Mm hmm. It's crazy to me. Ye,
- 21:41Speaker 2: Stan was stupid for just even offering that. They should
- 21:43Speaker 2: have just said we're not giving you anything, Yeah, because
- 21:47Speaker 2: your business is.
- 21:47Speaker 3: Trash and it's not successful.
- 21:50Speaker 1: Now, Yeah, there's no reason to believe it's going to
- 21:52Speaker 1: be successful in the future exactly.
- 21:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but that was it. It was kind of a
- 21:56Speaker 2: boring episode, a lot of filler, kind short and sweet.
- 22:01Speaker 1: I guess yeah, I was bored, Beatrice.
- 22:04Speaker 3: I was wanted more.
- 22:05Speaker 1: I really liked last week because they flopped so hard
- 22:08Speaker 1: and we got to laugh at them. But we'll see
- 22:11Speaker 1: what happens next week. Was there a preview, not really, Yeah,
- 22:14Speaker 1: I don't recall one. Yeah, but we'll be back next
- 22:16Speaker 1: week to talk episode four. Until then, is there anything
- 22:20Speaker 1: else that we need to say to these beautiful raccoons
- 22:22Speaker 1: before we get up on at a here baches.
