- 2:08Maori Welcome back, boys. Hey, this is the first time we
- 2:14queued it up since state of the program.
- 2:19How we feeling? How we feeling it's been?
- 2:22Well, that ain't that long ago. 2 two weeks.
- 2:26Little two weeks little. Over 2 weeks.
- 2:28It's it's that time of year. Well, it's a new year.
- 2:33It's 2025. Last time we all got together
- 2:35here. I mean, not counting phone calls
- 2:37and text messages, which are by the hundreds and hundreds
- 2:41nowadays. But yeah, first time all year,
- 2:44definitely going to be a good time tonight.
- 2:47A ton to unload tally. How you feeling man?
- 2:53Feeling good. We're feeling good.
- 2:57Maybe everybody can quit asking if we got a quarterback, because
- 3:01we do knew what was going to happen sooner or later.
- 3:05Glad it finally happened. Stop asking.
- 3:08We got quarterback. QB 1 is in the building.
- 3:13Negotiations are done. Signed, sealed, delivered.
- 3:17I'm yours. There we go.
- 3:19It's always feeling good. You know what, when you when you
- 3:23get a quarterback one in the building, you got to got to
- 3:25celebrate a little bit. And I think this is one of those
- 3:28things where it's like this has been a done deal for a while,
- 3:30but it just took a little bit to kind of get it into that
- 3:35official, put it on the timeline, throw it up, celebrate
- 3:39it across the board. And people got a little antsy.
- 3:42People got a little antsy as we were working through that
- 3:44process. I don't know if we'll ever know
- 3:47exactly what the reason for kind of that week, week and a half
- 3:53gap between that first announcement from national media
- 3:57that Grunk was expected to sign with the Hokies until we finally
- 4:01get this announcement today. I'm glad it happened today
- 4:04because we get to talk about it tonight.
- 4:06That's all I care about. Brian, you said.
- 4:08Brian, you said week, week and 1/2.
- 4:10It seemed like it was a year and a half.
- 4:14Every day, every day, 9 million to whoever Chewbacca Hokie is or
- 4:21whatever his name is. He was tweeting at Kobe every
- 4:25day. Matter of fact, he was so into
- 4:29it that he tweeted today and said, Kobe, where is Gronk?
- 4:34And he was already, he was already committed.
- 4:35It was already Miller. Yeah.
- 4:39Then he just went back and said, oh, I'm sorry, I missed.
- 4:41My bad, I missed. I missed the announcement.
- 4:43You should have. Had you should have had new new
- 4:47new tweets from Grunk on alert. On alert as soon as that thing
- 4:51hit and it it hit the Instagram first, But let's I mean, we got
- 4:55a lot of other stuff to unload on the back end.
- 4:57But let's hit the big news because it was something dare
- 5:01say the program we talked about quite a few times.
- 5:03Tally, you even said in like in January, we want to have another
- 5:07state of the program because of all the people leaving and all
- 5:09the people coming in and man, it has been fast and furious and
- 5:13like both Tally and Siegel just said a second ago, the
- 5:16quarterback is now on lock. Ethan Gruntmeyer, everything
- 5:21committed. Tally, you were like it felt
- 5:25like a year ago. It did feel like a year to
- 5:28Virginia Tech And then finally he makes his announcement today
- 5:34and you know, as you take a look, just go back.
- 5:37First of all, he was a red shirt freshman last year where he did
- 5:41play at Penn State, played in seven games, went four and three
- 5:45in those games. 70% completion percentage, a little over 1300
- 5:49yards, 8 touchdowns, 4 picks as a red shirt freshman.
- 5:53That was really his first game axe and I think he played like
- 5:56one game like 10 snaps his red shirt year.
- 6:00So he got baptized by fire after Larr gets down and we take a
- 6:04look at him. Y'all, it's been a long, long
- 6:07time since we had a quarterback ranked this high.
- 6:11And when I say that he was the number 8 quarterback on 247 in
- 6:172024 with 500 player national, I mean POSIT 5 star, POSIT 4 star
- 6:26off the board. And we're not talking like 94
- 6:28star, we're talking 95. We're talking like he was
- 6:31creeping potentially be almost 5.
- 6:38So I've kind of mentioned how you feel now, obviously we
- 6:44watched Ted the Clemson game and some of the other game and to
- 6:47the day, to this day, he is the quarterback that has come
- 6:52closest to unseating Indiana this year, if not for the totes
- 6:56guy. So I don't know who which one of
- 6:58y'all want to start it, but what do y'all, what have y'all seen
- 7:01on tape? What you like, what you're a
- 7:02little worried about with Ethan? Tally, I'm going to let you ride
- 7:08on this one first. I know, I know.
- 7:09You got a lot. To you got some feelings on it,
- 7:11Tally? You've been you've been sharing
- 7:12them with us. No, man, he's just, he's just,
- 7:16he's, I think he's of course a young quarterback.
- 7:19I think he's going to be a good quarterback.
- 7:21I just worry about what we put in front of him for next year as
- 7:26far as offensive line goes. But again, I've got confidence
- 7:33that we'll get something right, you know, we'll get it right
- 7:35enough. Because from what I've watched,
- 7:38he's not very mobile. I don't want to call him a
- 7:40statue, but he's close to it. He looked like Medusa hit him
- 7:45maybe on half of his body. So half of his body is stone,
- 7:49but he still can move a little bit on that other half, which is
- 7:53good. But again, every quarterback
- 7:55doesn't have to be mobile. I'm not saying that you have to
- 7:57have a mobile quarterback, but he does have to have a good line
- 8:01that gives him time to throw the ball.
- 8:04When he does have time to throw it, he's accurate with the ball.
- 8:06I think he's more accurate than we've seen putting the ball on
- 8:11spots and getting it down field in a in a while.
- 8:14You know maybe what maybe since Hindon, yeah, I was thinking
- 8:20maybe since Hindon and we still didn't get to see all of what
- 8:23Hindon could do. You know, we had Hindon doing a
- 8:25lot of running. So he's he he's I think he's
- 8:30going to be good. He's already had kind of got
- 8:33thrown in the fire this year, so he'll be kind of weather tested.
- 8:38But again, I'm just praying that we put the right people around
- 8:42him. As far as the offensive line, I
- 8:44think that the skill spots are OK, which I'm sure we'll talk
- 8:50about a little later, but I always worry about the trenches.
- 8:53So yeah, that's kind of what I think.
- 8:57But I am very happy that we picked him up.
- 8:59I think that that is a a good pool for us.
- 9:02I won't say anything like, oh, we should have got this person,
- 9:05but I think that getting him as our quarterback is going to be
- 9:09beneficial. And I think we'll be able to
- 9:11grow with him and I think we would be able to win some games
- 9:15next year as long as we put we got to get them tackle spots
- 9:19locked down like the tackles got to be on point.
- 9:24Yep, and I'll be I'll, I'll, I'll agree with most of that.
- 9:28I think when you look at Ethan Gruckmeyer, he's a guy that, you
- 9:34know, got got pressed into action and, you know, after a a
- 9:39game where, yeah, he was kind of figuring things out the rest of
- 9:43the way. I mean, there wasn't a whole lot
- 9:45to complain about from an output standpoint.
- 9:48Accuracy is there decision making is there ability to make
- 9:53reads in the offense is there to to Tally's point, he's not a
- 9:59mobile quarterback. You're not going to get him
- 10:01confused as a dual threat quarterback.
- 10:04At the same time, if the pocket breaks down, you know, he's got
- 10:08enough wiggle and enough movement where he can, you know,
- 10:10scramble to, to, to get away from a sack and, you know, get a
- 10:14few positive yards. He's not going to go out there
- 10:16and break off the, the the 20 yarders with any consistency,
- 10:19but he can certainly do enough to get you out of a negative
- 10:22play. So we're still going to have to
- 10:27protect him, though. That's that's the big thing is
- 10:29that, you know, when you get a quarterback that is more of a
- 10:33pocket presence versus a mobile guy, you got to make sure that
- 10:37you're taking care of him. That was one of the things that
- 10:39was absolutely the weakness of the Virginia Tech offense last
- 10:42year. We got some guys coming in where
- 10:45they were going to talk about, but at the end of the day, we're
- 10:47going to do a whole lot better protect the quarterback with a
- 10:50quarterback like Ethan back there.
- 10:52Yeah, we we absolutely are. And Tally, you mentioned
- 10:56baptized by fire. Beth put it lightly.
- 10:59His first three games he played was at Iowa, so at Kinnock
- 11:03Stadium against Iowa's defense and everybody knows they're
- 11:06never the fastest, but they ain't never in the wrong spot
- 11:09and they always make tackles. The next game was against Ohio
- 11:12State at the Horseshoe. We know how how much talent they
- 11:16have on defense. And in the third game was
- 11:18Indiana. And again, that was the one
- 11:20where that was sort of the coming out party for him because
- 11:23against Indiana he went for like 220 Seventy, 1% completion and a
- 11:30touchdown and a pick. So and then the rest of the
- 11:34season, obviously you know, y'all can look and see the gaps
- 11:37of where he was. But after the Indiana game, he
- 11:41threw new more picks in the next four games along to go with 6
- 11:50touchdowns even against Clemson in the Pinstripe Bowl.
- 11:54But again, it's a lot of wait and see.
- 11:56I think the talents there. You see some of his video he he
- 12:00ain't got no week on. He ain't got no week on.
- 12:03He needs to put on a little weight.
- 12:05He's like 62210. I'd like to see him 62220 to 25.
- 12:11But some of that's just natural, right?
- 12:13Like you're getting older, you're going to grow.
- 12:16But to what both of y'all just said, we've got to keep him up
- 12:21right? And we'll talk about the outline
- 12:23in a little while here and we've got to make sure we're we are
- 12:26putting him in good positions to win.
- 12:28And I think some of the moves and some of the things we have
- 12:32as far as it goes, wide receivers, tight ends, running
- 12:34backs, it's not an empty cupboard and he wasn't playing
- 12:38with an empty cupboard this year.
- 12:39Don't get me wrong, a lot of turmoil going on, but not an
- 12:41empty cupboard. So that's the way I feel now I'm
- 12:45going to talk one more stay on the quarterback room for just a
- 12:48second here. Bryce Baker also got picked up
- 12:53and you know, Bryce Baker was quicker to announce than was
- 12:59quicker to announce than Ethan. But you know, from everything
- 13:04that we had heard, that was the plan all along.
- 13:09That was the plan all along. They were going to get you got
- 13:12to go ahead and get the backup in.
- 13:13And yes, I know Bryce Baker has not played that much, but again,
- 13:17class of 2025, it's high level again.
- 13:21And I'm sure Talley, you've been looking up Brian, you've been
- 13:23looking it up. He's down from E 4th side down
- 13:26in Kernersville. Talley I mean, excuse me,
- 13:28Sigler, you need to call Heiselman up because I got a
- 13:32feeling they play. I don't think he is
- 13:34Kernersville. So he's 4 sites like rival
- 13:37school, that kid composite 86th top 10 nationally as a
- 13:45quarterback. And you know, so I know we don't
- 13:49have as much info and we know who's the starter and who's the
- 13:51backup, but just in general, are y'all OK with the depth or do
- 13:55y'all want like, do you feel like Brown and Collins Schlee?
- 13:58Do we need to bring in one more older vet guy who knows he's not
- 14:02going to play but, you know, insurance?
- 14:07I don't think so. I mean, I think you've got, you
- 14:10got 4 quarterbacks on the roster at this point, really five once
- 14:13Hume comes in. Yeah, I don't think that we
- 14:17really need to do anything much more than that.
- 14:19If you get to the third quarterback in your own your
- 14:21roster, you're kind of fucked anyway.
- 14:25So. If if we're if we're if we're in
- 14:28that situation, then we're probably in the season that we
- 14:31don't want to be in to begin with.
- 14:34I like what we're seeing. You know, you get you get grunk,
- 14:37you get a guy that showed a lot of promise pretty early, a lot
- 14:41of upside has a good chance of you improving upon that that
- 14:48first experience there. Then you look at Bryce Baker,
- 14:54you got to you got a guy that is is athletic.
- 14:59He can do so you can do some things with his legs.
- 15:01He's shown some, you know, raw talent, but you know, probably a
- 15:06little bit less polished than what you've seen from Ethan at
- 15:08this point. Honestly, just from a makeup
- 15:13standpoint, I think Bryce is kind of the ideal backup to
- 15:16someone like Grunk. Just because you can, you don't,
- 15:20you don't have to to lean on everything that Grunk does.
- 15:24You can kind of look at incorporating some of Baker's
- 15:28rushing ability in the offense to kind of take some of the the
- 15:34of the pressure off the passing game if it comes to that
- 15:37situation. Can you feel Bryce Tally?
- 15:42Yeah, so I got a good friend that his son went to school
- 15:47with, Bryce. He was his wide receiver.
- 15:50He ended up going to that. My friend's son ended up going
- 15:53to Charleston, University of Charleston, so he's a wide
- 15:58receiver there. So I just talked with him a
- 16:01little bit just about what he thought about the signing.
- 16:06He said Bryce is a, first of all, the good kid.
- 16:11He's a really good kid. And again, this is just him
- 16:15personally knowing him, said Bryce is a good kid.
- 16:17You're not going to find a better kid to have in the
- 16:19program. He's not as mobile as people
- 16:24would think. He can move, but he's more he
- 16:27wants to throw the ball. His thing is he he holds the
- 16:31ball a little bit longer than probably he needs to.
- 16:34But I think in high school he probably threw for a senior
- 16:37year. He may have threw for 3000
- 16:39yards, 3500 yards, something like that.
- 16:41So he can throw the ball. He does have a little hitch in
- 16:44his wind up. So I think some coaches may want
- 16:48to change that because it's an in between kind of a side arm
- 16:53and overhand throw, which sometimes can be a little
- 16:56erratic, but very, very talented kid, which is why James Franklin
- 17:01went after him, why UNC went after him.
- 17:03You know, he's a he's very, he's very talented, but it's going to
- 17:06be more of a project to have somebody like him on your
- 17:12roster, which is nothing wrong with that, you know what I'm
- 17:15saying? That's why you get people to
- 17:17develop them, because you can take a kid like that and the
- 17:21right coach can pour into him and next thing you know, you get
- 17:24a, you know, you get a starting quarterback.
- 17:26So I think it's good. I'm interested.
- 17:29I I didn't do a lot of like, you know, watching him play before
- 17:34the pickup. But of course after that I went
- 17:37back and looked at a little bit and like I said, called my buddy
- 17:39and looked at some of his kids high school tape.
- 17:42So it was, it was, it was good to see and it just no disrespect
- 17:48to any kids that we've got, but the floor of Virginia Tech's
- 17:53talent level has been raised. You know what I'm saying?
- 17:56It's like you damn near got to be a four-star to get recruited
- 18:02moving forward, you know, and it's not all about the stars
- 18:05because there's some great players that come from
- 18:07everywhere. But I'm just looking at what
- 18:09they're putting on high, high Level 3 stars and and four stars
- 18:15that they're getting into the program from the high school
- 18:18recruiting ranks now in the transport portal.
- 18:24That's what they're going to go look for it.
- 18:25But that's what that's what James Franklin was going to
- 18:28bring anyway. You know, that's what he is.
- 18:30So anybody who is surprised by what he's doing, you haven't
- 18:36been watching college football or you haven't paid attention to
- 18:39him, so. 100%. I'm I'm definitely excited.
- 18:44Yeah, couple other things about Bryce Baker.
- 18:47So everyone knows Penn State recruited him as well.
- 18:55Danny O'Brien was his primary recruiter.
- 19:00I'll let that. I'm going to put this up real
- 19:02quick because I'm going to answer it real quick.
- 19:07No tally and let you look at that question.
- 19:12No. Brian.
- 19:14No, I don't think so. No, so sorry, it's it's not
- 19:18Tyrod was special dude. Tyrod was the number three
- 19:22player in the country, I believe the year he came out.
- 19:24It's it's completely different. These are and you've got one guy
- 19:28who's been baptized already. So a little different.
- 19:32I don't mind the question, but that's what you're going to get
- 19:34from me. All right, let's flip it over
- 19:36because Tally, you mentioned trenches.
- 19:38I'm going to get away from the offense for a second because as
- 19:42I started counting everything, the biggest influx of players in
- 19:48the portal and up to date it is 7 and we got 23 commits.
- 19:55That is the defensive line. So as you've been seeing them
- 19:59come through and like seeing this guy committed this kind of
- 20:03he was here, he was here. Who's the guy that has caught
- 20:06your eye? Of the seven defensive lineman
- 20:10that have walked through the doors?
- 20:18Dally, can you hear me? Oh, is it me?
- 20:19I thought you. Yeah, you, you, you.
- 20:21Yeah, you mentioned trenches, so you get to go.
- 20:23First, Yeah. So I don't know, man, it's a
- 20:27it's it's hard to just pick probably one of the probably for
- 20:32me, just physically what they look like, what I think they'll
- 20:36be able to do. I would probably go with the was
- 20:40it Hilson kid that came from from Missouri.
- 20:43He just looks physically imposing.
- 20:46He looks like he can, he just looks like he he can play looks
- 20:50like he's getting ready like he can.
- 20:51He's going to be able to come in and make an impact.
- 20:55But trenches are where you win and lose the game, you know, so
- 21:02some people's like, man, it looks like we taking too much of
- 21:04this. So we're doing this.
- 21:06I just feel like if you go look at the eligibility of the
- 21:10players that we bringing in, most of them are, you know,
- 21:13three years, some maybe 2. Most are three or four year of
- 21:18eligibility. I think that he's really trying
- 21:20to build a program. He's not trying to go out and
- 21:23get one hit of quitters. He's trying to go out and get
- 21:27some kids or young men that can come in and they can build
- 21:32around that they can keep here and next year, you know, you go
- 21:38out, you put a good product on the field, then you can go and
- 21:41cherry pick what you need. So I said bring it all the time
- 21:47that you can get bring it. But like I said, the kid from
- 21:50Missouri, without going too deep into all the other stuff that
- 21:53we'll go into, the kid from Missouri looks good to me.
- 21:56But I'm, I'm excited to see like it was just every day he was
- 22:01waking up, it was like Christmas.
- 22:02It was my time. Maybe like 9:00 in the morning.
- 22:07Oh, we got to commit or 11:00 we got to commit, 2:00 we got to
- 22:11commit. It's like 6-7 commits in a day,
- 22:155 commits in a day. Like, man, it was hard to keep
- 22:19up, I ain't going to lie. Like I had to go back at the end
- 22:21of it. And like, who we, how many
- 22:23people did we get today? Who did who, Who committed
- 22:26today? So yeah, Ryan, what?
- 22:29About you. Man, if I really had to circle
- 22:331, you know, it would probably be Kamari and Morgan kid from
- 22:41Baylor, The edge, you know, just got the physicality that you
- 22:47like to see already has some, you know, a decent amount of
- 22:53snaps under his belt at this point.
- 22:56Looks the part we got, we got somebody with with with with
- 23:02grills on the team now. So that's something to talk
- 23:05about. I, I think it's going to be,
- 23:10he's going to be the, the biggest impact probably out the
- 23:13gate. But it's, it's while seeing to
- 23:15me like looking at the, the guys that, that we bringing in and,
- 23:19and Tally, you made the point of it.
- 23:21Like most of these guys are like red shirt sophomores.
- 23:27Most, most of them have three years of eligibility remaining.
- 23:31Yeah, coupled coupled with two years, some with that are just
- 23:35red shirt freshmen coming in. But like most of these guys have
- 23:38two to three years of eligibility remaining, which
- 23:41means that James is is trying to raise the floor in 2026, but
- 23:48he's trying to make some noise in 2027.
- 23:52And when we look at what that looks like, is that a, is that
- 23:55A8 win team in 26? We'll see.
- 23:57Is that a nine win team in 26? We'll see.
- 24:00But you're you're raising the floor of the talent level of
- 24:03this roster significantly with the majority guys that were
- 24:09four-star or high three star, you know, coming in in high
- 24:13school, the talent level is going up significantly,
- 24:17especially relative to what is leaving the program.
- 24:20Yeah, let me say, let me say this right quick, Brian.
- 24:23I know Curtis got to jump in here too, but I, you know,
- 24:26sitting back just looking, we all do it talking on Twitter all
- 24:29day, messing with people. But just looking at some of the
- 24:32comments, when people say, you know, or even some of the
- 24:35messages or somebody say, well, why do you think we we don't,
- 24:39we're supposed to have all this money.
- 24:40Why don't we go out and get a bona fide guy, you know, to play
- 24:47whatever position. But see, that's the problem.
- 24:50We we need everything. You know, we had a couple of
- 24:53good people pieces here, good, good pieces there.
- 24:55These people were hurt in this area.
- 24:57When you need everything, you can't overspend on anything.
- 25:01Like we can't overspend on nothing because we end up, I
- 25:03think Billy Ray said it, I, I don't watch so many podcasts
- 25:06later, but I think Billy Ray said it on his show the other
- 25:09day. You end up in a situation like
- 25:12Oklahoma, even though they did make the playoffs, but they they
- 25:16brought in other guys. They went out and got that
- 25:18running back from Cal with Jaden OTT, who was a stud.
- 25:24And then he comes to Oklahoma and you know, he's hurt all
- 25:27year. He gets 21 carries with 69
- 25:30yards. How much play do you spend on
- 25:32that? You just mean we we're not in
- 25:35position to do that. We're not in the position to do
- 25:37that because we're a three win team and we are a losing
- 25:41program. You got to get that through your
- 25:43head. We're a losing program right
- 25:46now. So we got to build it up and we
- 25:49got to put the depth in the building.
- 25:52Then somebody's going to pan out.
- 25:54I mean, if you bring in seven running backs, I know we ain't
- 25:56bringing 7 running backs. But if you bring in seven
- 25:59running backs and one of them don't work out, you probably
- 26:02don't need to be coaching no more.
- 26:04So you bring those, you bring those defensive lineman in and,
- 26:09and, and get them in on the right amount of NIL and spread
- 26:14it across. Somebody's going to work their
- 26:17butts off to get on that. And you still got Kamar
- 26:19Copeland, still got Kamari Copeland, which we need.
- 26:23One of the must keeps was Copeland and we kept it.
- 26:27I'll throw mine in real quick. And of all these guys y'all
- 26:30mentioned, Hilson and Morgan, I feel like they're the crown
- 26:32jewels. But Tally, when I sent you the
- 26:38thing about Mensa, you got on it like he like he did US dirty.
- 26:41He drank some crown tonight. Tally feeling good but it's good
- 26:45to see like a guy like Mensa come back that quick that quick
- 26:50because his body's already ready like a kid 633 O 5 he's he's
- 26:55ready to play inside can he get there quick enough which one's
- 26:58that BlackBerry crown nice that's who I'm excited for now
- 27:02you just mentioned it Charlie and I think we we were talking
- 27:05tonight guys coming back on the defensive line like who you
- 27:09excited about and I mean Kamari yeah like him coming back is a
- 27:17big deal and and you know he he got the tutelage of JC for all
- 27:22those years now he's getting Sean Spencer chaos.
- 27:27You know, you y'all can look and see if there's anybody else.
- 27:30I think a few only. I've only seen a few guys have
- 27:32announced they're coming back. When I hear announced, that
- 27:35means people were coming after them.
- 27:36But I mean you, you tell me Copeland's ready to go and.
- 27:44You know, laws. Laws coming back you got, yeah.
- 27:47Taco Fall, who probably, you know, came out of nowhere, had
- 27:50some. His name is definitely not Taco.
- 27:54His name is Elijah Fall. Taco Fall is about A-76
- 27:59basketball player for like. My bad.
- 28:01I said the wrong name. You good?
- 28:03You good? You got the name the only.
- 28:06Reason. The only reason that I was that
- 28:08I said that is Elijah Fall is a sneaky good running back because
- 28:14he was serviceable this year. Defensive lineman, we ain't on
- 28:19running backs yet, he said. Run it back, run it, run it
- 28:21back, everybody. 'S fucking up now everybody man
- 28:24y'all screwing up like I screwed up names.
- 28:26No. So no, he, he was serviceable,
- 28:31you know, he created some chaos, no pun intended, in the
- 28:35backfield. So now when you put a lying
- 28:42around him that you know, all is going to require some extra
- 28:47attention, you know, you got to have that depth, you know what
- 28:51I'm saying? I don't know how many sacks he
- 28:53had last year, but I remember at least probably 2 1/2.
- 28:58And hell, we only had fucking 10 I believe so.
- 29:03Hey, I like the Elijah fall running back.
- 29:06I'm glad. I'm glad that he's back.
- 29:10Not a lot, not a lot. All right, let's flip it back to
- 29:13offense real quick because I feel like every name you've seen
- 29:17on this next one, I'm going to let Brian kick it off the skill
- 29:20position room over on on offense between the wide receivers and
- 29:25running backs in the tight ends. Like who?
- 29:30Like who is as soon as you said that kid committed like either
- 29:34shock or yes or fist pumps or whatever.
- 29:39What we say, tight end? Skill positions, well, I'm just
- 29:43seeing a tight end running. Hey, let Brian go first.
- 29:46Hey, you know what I mean? I love what we did at tight end.
- 29:50You get Luke Reynolds and Matt Henderson in the building.
- 29:52That's a good thing. But the the the needle mover for
- 29:55me is Quayshawn Brown. That was the needle mover for
- 30:00me. You see what he was able to do
- 30:03with Duke. You know, he's a guy that's
- 30:06going to come in and probably immediately take over the slot.
- 30:10So I mean that's that that's the one for me.
- 30:13That's the needle mover. I think everybody else,
- 30:17obviously Luke Reynolds, you know, we we we've got a good
- 30:20tight end on on the roster already.
- 30:23I think what we brought in is going to really round everything
- 30:26out. But as far as like impact player
- 30:28and what I think can really jump off the page pretty quick way
- 30:31Shawn Brown is that. Yeah, question on Brown was
- 30:35definitely a a underrated pick up.
- 30:39I would say. I don't know how you can be
- 30:40underrated. I think it was ranked like 93 in
- 30:43the portal or something like that that.
- 30:45Guy had like almost 1000 yards last year.
- 30:48Yeah, that was a good, that was definitely a good pick up.
- 30:50That was definitely a good pick up.
- 30:51But I got to, I got to say Luke Reynolds.
- 30:53I mean, that was the name that we heard.
- 30:55I'm a tight end guy, of course, but the name that we heard from
- 31:01the beginning was Gronk and Luke Reynolds, and they took the
- 31:07longest to come in, so had to make a sweat a little bit.
- 31:13For whatever reason. I'm OK with it.
- 31:15But Reynolds, I think we've really forget how because this
- 31:21year our tight end usage was crap.
- 31:24You know, we kind of knew. That's what Montgomery does with
- 31:29his tight ends. Doesn't really use them much,
- 31:32but to have a tight end that can be very versatile, like the ones
- 31:36we're bringing in, somebody said, you know, we need to keep
- 31:39Benji. I think Benji's staying, but
- 31:43Benji going to have to work because Benji don't like the
- 31:45block. You know, Benji going to have to
- 31:47work, but Benji's a he's a good piece.
- 31:50But when you bring in some other guys that are hungry to get on
- 31:54the field, I mean, you still got Jorika's Benji, the Henderson
- 32:01kid that just got there being Reynolds, it's going to be a
- 32:05fight in every room to get on the field.
- 32:08And I think that's what we've lacked in the past because us as
- 32:13fans, we Virginia Tech fans, nowhere else, I don't think.
- 32:16But the Virginia Tech fans will say stuff like, man, we don't
- 32:20need to be looking at this because we're going to make this
- 32:21kid mad and he's going to leave. Fuck him.
- 32:24I mean, if you got to go, you got to go.
- 32:26We get it, but we've won three games, so no position should be
- 32:31safe. You got to come here and compete
- 32:33the win. So I like what they've done with
- 32:36the tight end room all together, but I'm most excited about
- 32:40Reynolds. I mean, it's it's tough to like
- 32:44follow up with those two and saying with with Brown and
- 32:49Reynolds because of a Brown's numbers last year and then this
- 32:55year, Luke Reynolds, you know, just second year in the program,
- 32:59you know, 25 catches or so. He he's a beast.
- 33:03You can see it when he plays. There was a reason he was a five
- 33:06star. There was a reason he was the
- 33:07best Titan in the country. And it's paying off now and he
- 33:10comes back and the guy who's been coaching him up for the
- 33:12last couple years, it is already elevated his game.
- 33:16But when I looked at this and then kind of see who's coming
- 33:20back and, you know, Aiden's coming back with offense and all
- 33:24that. I, I, I looked at the running
- 33:27back and I looked at Bill, you know, Bill, Bill, you know, Bill
- 33:32Davis, Bill Davis, that's. A normal name, right?
- 33:37Normal name, but when? When when I started thinking
- 33:40about the way Hawkins and Overton ran with no semblance of
- 33:45a passing game at all, no symbols of a passing game.
- 33:51And I start thinking, well, man, those two are going to be
- 33:54complimentary backs. But you know, there's sometimes
- 33:56this third and a yard and a half and we we we had Terry and
- 34:00Stewart. He couldn't stay healthy.
- 34:02But I like Bill Davis is that situational short, short yardage
- 34:07golden go situation where his five foot nine 220 LB.
- 34:11I'm assuming Bill got fatal ass big.
- 34:16Just go through the line and get through yard.
- 34:19Bill. What's?
- 34:20Going on today, hold on, hold, hold on for a minute.
- 34:28You don't think a You don't think a 5 foot 9200 and 29220 LB
- 34:33named black man don't have a fat old ass to run through the line
- 34:37for a first? Down.
- 34:37Oh my God, what day is this? Is this Wednesday?
- 34:42This is Wednesday, man. This is Wednesday.
- 34:44It's Wednesday. He's going.
- 34:48To be he's going to be humping through the but but when I see
- 34:51that in seeing that fat O we going to see the back in his fat
- 34:57O ass all season sitting in the end zone.
- 34:59Running on the shirt, but. But y'all see what I'm saying
- 35:05right? Because you start thinking,
- 35:06well, Grunt Meyer is a more developed passer.
- 35:09You got Aiden coming back, you've got Reynolds, you've got
- 35:12Brown. It's seemingly like we've
- 35:16improved the offensive line a little bit.
- 35:18And now you're talking about not having to have Overton and
- 35:21Hawkins get those grime yards, right?
- 35:24Like get those, like this is like, this is going to hurt.
- 35:28Send Bill in there. What about you?
- 35:30I, I, I know we go have like a caked up running back discussion
- 35:33here. So I wasn't, I wasn't ready to
- 35:35comment. I'm not 220, I'm nine, 220
- 35:40short. Hey, hey, so offensively,
- 35:44offensively, skill wise, who are you glad to see back?
- 35:48I can't get back to Brian. Did not, I mean, I said quite
- 35:52Sean, so no. No, no coming back running.
- 35:55Coming back, Oh my bad, my bad, my bad.
- 35:57You did? Yeah.
- 35:58You think about this? I don't ask.
- 36:01He he, you threw me off, man. He threw me off.
- 36:04I mean, it's got to be Jeffrey Overton junior, man, it's got to
- 36:07be because when you look at the talent that he showed as a true
- 36:12freshman coming back from injury, he he popped off the
- 36:18screen man, like he looked like a different cat than everybody
- 36:23else. So when you when you get him
- 36:25another year of seasoning, you get him a little bit of extra
- 36:28help up front and you get him a quarterback that can get the
- 36:32ball down field so he's not running against loaded boxes.
- 36:36Lookout man, it's going to be serious.
- 36:38Jeffrey over to junior. Ron, I mean tally.
- 36:44Yeah, so I got to go and y'all hanging out with me.
- 36:47Chad, if y'all don't understand, I'm going to take you and get
- 36:49you right. I got to go with my nephew,
- 36:53Keelan Adams, because what we've lacked is a downfield threat.
- 37:00You know, we haven't thrown the ball downfield because a
- 37:03quarterback couldn't get it there.
- 37:04But also we haven't had a receiver that really stretches
- 37:08the field. You know, maybe two years ago we
- 37:11we threw a couple downfield. Quan maybe caught a couple, but
- 37:14consistently we haven't had that receiver that could stretch the
- 37:18field. And AG is not that kind of
- 37:20receiver. AG is going to be.
- 37:22He's to me, he's more of like a possession receiver.
- 37:26He can get open and he can go get a 5050 ball, but just to go
- 37:31say, hey, on the other side of him, I need you to run past him.
- 37:34We haven't had a receiver that can do that recently.
- 37:39I think Keelan Adams will be the one that can do that as long as
- 37:43he can stay healthy. We got to be able to have
- 37:45somebody who can stretch that field.
- 37:47Exactly what Brian said. Soto's running backs aren't
- 37:51running with a full box. There's no there is no reason at
- 37:57all. Jeffrey over Overton should have
- 37:58been able to score on Miami. I don't know how he did it
- 38:02because we couldn't do nothing else but run the ball.
- 38:05I don't know how he got through that and scored a touchdown.
- 38:08You know, however many yards he had that game because when I
- 38:12watched him play everybody else, it ain't looking like that.
- 38:15So kids got to be talented, we got to help them out.
- 38:19We got to and no disrespect to Hawkins too.
- 38:21Hawkins is a is a was a really good solid back for us.
- 38:25So I'm looking for us to have that to have that downfield
- 38:32threat so grunt can have somebody to say, hey, I need you
- 38:36to go get this one for me. And if y'all haven't got a
- 38:39chance to go watch Kobe, he interviewed the new wide
- 38:45receiver, Jeff. Yeah, that was excellent.
- 38:49Yeah. So you can hear him talk about
- 38:52some of the things that the coaches have said to him, saying
- 38:56this is what we're looking to do.
- 38:57We're going to throw the ball more than we did at Penn State,
- 39:00and we're going to have our spots where we can get it down
- 39:03field. So that's what they're going to
- 39:04be looking to do, too. Yeah.
- 39:06By the way, Bill Davis, 235, not 220.
- 39:11Yeah. Say it again, Curtis.
- 39:14You want to say it, Curtis? Say the line.
- 39:16Say the line. Curtis Bill Davidson's fat old
- 39:20ass going in on 3rd and one getting us a first down all.
- 39:25Right. Hey, look who just joined and
- 39:28that's what he joined to. Will the three of them.
- 39:31There he is, my boy. Is.
- 39:32Here y'all they following Will man.
- 39:34Y'all got to follow Will. That's my God, man.
- 39:38All right, let's flip it over because again, let's get back to
- 39:41trench talk. Let's talk about the offensive
- 39:43line, Brian. Right now three guys have been
- 39:46introduced to us, maybe more coming.
- 39:49That's Justin Bell, Logan Howlin, Michael Troutman.
- 39:53How much research have you done on them?
- 39:55And you know, what are you? What are you foreseeing?
- 40:02Yeah, I mean, I, I really like Howlin.
- 40:04I feel like Howlin is the guy that, you know, I'm circling
- 40:07right now to unless, unless we do something else to slide in at
- 40:12that left tackle position, I, I think we end up putting him
- 40:17there. I think that's, that's where he
- 40:19played. He made his hey there.
- 40:21The the games that he was healthy and played.
- 40:26He's a guy that looked like he got better as things went along.
- 40:31And when we look at what what we were working with last year, I
- 40:36think, you know, you, you probably had Johnny Garrett
- 40:38playing on the left because you had to, you know, you probably
- 40:42had a couple other guys out of position because you had to let
- 40:47Howland slot in there and left get get Garrett back over on the
- 40:50right side. And you know, we'll see if we
- 40:52get any other guys in the building here to help us out.
- 40:55But you got Altoona coming back, you got some good interior
- 40:58pieces and then you got Michael Troutman coming in from from
- 41:01Penn State. You got Justin Bell coming in
- 41:04for some depth. It's a tackle position.
- 41:06I think we've done some good things so far.
- 41:08I think we're still one or two spots on the offensive line away
- 41:12from being where I really would want to be.
- 41:14But Howlin is definitely the the the linchpin so far as far as
- 41:18the guys we've gotten in the portal.
- 41:22No facts. Facts.
- 41:23That's what. That was a good pick up too.
- 41:25And you know what I like about that pick up burn was that
- 41:29nobody mentioned his name. He's popped up, you know,
- 41:33everybody's an inside and everybody has some kind of
- 41:36knowledge or something. And you know, you see, oh, I got
- 41:40a crystal ball for this guy now. He just popped up.
- 41:43It was like this guy just committed to Virginia Tech.
- 41:45And I've seen the I've seen the Oklahoma jersey.
- 41:48And I was like, is that my boy? What's his name?
- 41:51Troy Everett. I thought it was Troy.
- 41:52Everett, I was. Like, did he come back?
- 41:55The re, the re, the re, the return man with Troy.
- 41:57Troy Everett's been here more than Brent Pry.
- 42:00Yeah. Yeah, no, it was not Troy
- 42:03Everett, it was this guy. So I'm like, OK.
- 42:07And if you go look too, I mean the the size of the team, of
- 42:14course, we've been preaching this for a while, right, Curtis?
- 42:16And we have been getting. Bigger.
- 42:17We've been. Yeah, we've been.
- 42:18That's what I'm going to say. We've been preaching this for a
- 42:20while, just saying, hey, you know, we need to be bigger.
- 42:23But going back to the Fuente era, then the beginning of the
- 42:25Pride era, then even to now, it's like, how tall are you as a
- 42:29lineman? Oh, you ain't 65.
- 42:31Yeah, we got to keep only person who can be shorter than 65 is
- 42:36the center and that's still about 6-3.
- 42:40Not a lie. Not a lie.
- 42:42Yeah, Halo was the big one because when you start, because
- 42:45they the first thing I think we probably all thought of was
- 42:48like, he was probably the backup.
- 42:50He's he's probably got a load of talent, just been backing up.
- 42:53But now it's the old Wally Pip situation that he started in
- 42:592024, six games and it was at the end of the season.
- 43:03It was against like Alabama, Missouri, who have been a good
- 43:07team. He played against some good
- 43:08teams. He had played in total 13 games
- 43:13and he got hurt. 2025, he was looked to do some, probably
- 43:17projected starting, got hurt, got lolly pipped.
- 43:20That happened. But that's how I benefit.
- 43:22So you're looking at a guy who has had that starting.
- 43:26He's got a ton of snaps and I keep telling people for me, when
- 43:29it's offensive line, whether how good they are or not, it's
- 43:34snaps. That it going to matter more
- 43:36than anything because if a guy is getting playing time, Brian,
- 43:41you can attest to this tally playing on the tight end
- 43:43position. You can attest to it until you
- 43:45know how people come at you in understanding how to play the
- 43:49offensive line. You can look great.
- 43:51A lot of guys are 65310 and a lot of guys can do good kickback
- 43:55grills, but when it's someone coming off the edge, you're
- 43:58going to bull rush right in your face.
- 43:59How do you handle it? Clearly they trusted him enough
- 44:02within six games with some injuries that happened and then
- 44:04they were going to trust him enough this year and then things
- 44:07happen. So that's good for us.
- 44:09Now. Brian Talley, I got a feeling
- 44:12y'all are going to agree on the same person.
- 44:14But if the guys coming back, who are you excited about on the
- 44:17offensive line? I'll tell them the center, I
- 44:25mean Altoona once again thrown in the fire, probably shouldn't
- 44:33have had to play as much as he did this year, but did a good
- 44:37job, did a serviceable job. If you go back and look at our
- 44:42games, of course, everybody struggled in pass protection,
- 44:45but did a really solid job of run blocking and you didn't see
- 44:51a lot of snaps on the ground. So I'm, I don't know of any, you
- 44:57know, skipping snaps, getting skipped to the quarterback or
- 45:00anything like that. So that's a hard thing to do.
- 45:04That ain't easy. So I'm excited about our tune of
- 45:07another year of him to mature. And this year he'll really,
- 45:13really have to compete for that job because you're going to have
- 45:16some guys in that room that really want to play.
- 45:18So I think that the talent level has been raised and the
- 45:22competition is going to be raised as well.
- 45:27Sorry, Brian, I know I took your guy.
- 45:29Hey. And you?
- 45:30Should you should because he's he's the guy that everyone
- 45:33should be excited about. He's the guy that had the
- 45:36postseason accolades, the only one on the offensive line that
- 45:39earned them and deserved them. And he's the guy that was the
- 45:44most consistent in terms of run blocking and pass blocking on
- 45:49that offensive line throughout the season.
- 45:51And another thing to talk about looking at the 2025 is that
- 45:55availability wise, he was he stayed healthy, he was on the
- 45:58field and we didn't have a whole lot of that at a whole lot of
- 46:01positions last year. So durability is important,
- 46:05especially the guy that snapped in the football.
- 46:09So yeah, Al Tuner and it's not even close.
- 46:15So I got the game on behind me right there, pokies down one
- 46:19minute left in the first half. It it.
- 46:22The answer is Al Tuner. But you know, if you start
- 46:26looking guys, you got Lucas Austin.
- 46:30Like don't forget that name. Lucas Austin came with Matt
- 46:32Moore from West Virginia. Montavious Cunningham gets
- 46:35another year, Brodie Meadows coming back off an injury.
- 46:39So Alturner's the easy answer. But there are a couple guys that
- 46:42we've seen play and one guy we hadn't seen play.
- 46:45Where do they land? And again, is there one more
- 46:48piece? I would feel better if we got
- 46:50one more piece on the offensive line where I got to see like
- 46:54Curtis Terry. Yes, he shares the name Curtis
- 46:58Terry. The Ohio State guy would be
- 47:00like, the guy won't. And even though he didn't start,
- 47:04I think it's somewhere he had like 113 snaps.
- 47:08Like 113 snaps for a young guy is really good.
- 47:11So that would be one guy to look out for and some guys definitely
- 47:16coming. All right.
- 47:17Let's pretty sure his name is Justin Terry.
- 47:19Curtis, Curtis, Curtis. Curtis Curtis was a linebacker
- 47:24for the Buckeyes back in the early 2.
- 47:27Thousands. I shouldn't have worked 10 hours
- 47:29today. That's all.
- 47:30Almost there. It's a new year, man.
- 47:33Hey, we getting in gear? Y'all bell with us?
- 47:35Chad I. Swore his name was.
- 47:37Kurt, we get we getting in gear. Justin Terry, the Ohio State
- 47:41guy. Hey, we you, you had another
- 47:44Ohio State guy. You just had the wrong one.
- 47:47And he played years, years and years ago.
- 47:49I think he coaches for them. Now, though.
- 47:51He coaches, he coaches somewhere.
- 47:53Was it Kurt? 'S name last name 1 Terry was a
- 47:55kid from Hermitage. No his name.
- 47:57Was his name was Curtis Grant? Harris Grant, Yeah.
- 48:02Buckeye. I don't know where.
- 48:04Where did Herm come in? Curtis Green played Hermitage.
- 48:07Yeah, yeah. But where did that come from?
- 48:10Well, I thought you were saying his name was Curtis Terry, not
- 48:12Curtis Green. That's that's who, that's who
- 48:15you said you said Curtis Terry. I said that's a that's a
- 48:18linebacker from Ohio State from the early 2000s.
- 48:22Let's. Move on defensive back primarily
- 48:24the corners tally, there's three that are coming and there are
- 48:27three that are coming that's played eight.
- 48:30Well two didn't played a ton and one that played a ton his
- 48:34freshman year. Of these three, Cam Jacquez and
- 48:38Kenny, who you happy about? No, it's all water tonight man.
- 48:43That's the sad part. Cali the one drinking but he
- 48:47didn't made his errors too tonight.
- 48:50Yeah, it's been a little rough man, but that's OK.
- 48:52We had. We got to, we got to break in
- 48:55the new year, right? You got to got to break it in.
- 48:57This is this is episode 1 of Season 7.
- 49:00We're, we're, we're, we're talking portal.
- 49:03We know all these guys are new to us, so we're figuring it out
- 49:07as we go. The giant Franklin era is wow.
- 49:11Yeah. Look at new king on Popping
- 49:13Hill. New King?
- 49:15We gave you some props the other day.
- 49:17Show up. And you didn't show up what's
- 49:19wrong with you? You better call crystal ball and
- 49:22all them Cubans on that team and tell him you about to play
- 49:25another Cuban and y'all need to get on his ass.
- 49:29That's all I'm saying. Italy quarterback, yeah, Curtis
- 49:35quarterbacks, Hood and three. Black nose.
- 49:37My boy from Troy. My boy from Troy University.
- 49:40I'm Troy. Yeah, What's the jaqui?
- 49:43Is white something white? Yeah, he's.
- 49:46White. Go watch his tape.
- 49:48You know I like what I see from him.
- 49:51Got a couple of years of eligibility.
- 49:53Come on in here. And you got to be better than
- 49:56what we had last year. Just turn your head when the
- 49:58ball is in the air. When the ball is in the air,
- 50:01turn your head. Flip your head around.
- 50:03You already in good position, turn around, look at the ball.
- 50:06That's all we need. Yeah, I mean, Tally said it
- 50:14Jacquez White is is the guy to look at in this area.
- 50:17I I think a guy like Cam Chadwick is a little underrated
- 50:21here. I think he had some good
- 50:24instances of being a ball hawk. I think he does pretty well in
- 50:29coverage overall. But Jacques White is the guy
- 50:31that jumps off the the page in terms of his ability to really
- 50:35do a little bit of everything that you want from a cornerback
- 50:39and not afraid to get a little pop in there as well.
- 50:41So I love cornerbacks that that aren't afraid or shy away from
- 50:44contacts. So you're getting a little bit
- 50:47of that with them as well. Yeah, but in both of those guys,
- 50:51it's one of the production guys, right?
- 50:52They've got, I know like you said, White has two years left
- 51:00and believe it or not, Chadwick has two years left.
- 51:03He's going to be a red shirt junior this year.
- 51:06So you're sort of backfilling that room Kenny brought on
- 51:11today, Kenny Woosley Junior, who was up at Penn State and played
- 51:15some snaps like that. That was the one thing I feel
- 51:20like this one position that you do want production at because
- 51:24you can see, right, You have to cover people like you can be
- 51:28kidding. You're going to be put on an
- 51:30island. So love that.
- 51:33But that room? I think it's a little.
- 51:36Shocking to say, no safeties. I mean, yeah, we ain't got a
- 51:42safety coach, but I feel like there's gonna be storage coming
- 51:45out on that for a while. But are y'all OK with where we
- 51:50are as far as who we brought back with the safety room in the
- 51:53other corners? Good.
- 51:59I don't think we're good, like comfortable good.
- 52:02I think we're good in terms of like we got a guy that is really
- 52:06good. We need to make sure he stays
- 52:08healthy in queue. And and we and we got some other
- 52:11guys that had some pretty good experience last year that, you
- 52:14know, if you need to put them in the game, they're not going to
- 52:16be an embarrassment. They're not going to go out
- 52:18there and you know, look like their loss.
- 52:21But at the same time, it would have been potentially nice to
- 52:23level up that position a little bit more in this cycle, even
- 52:28though we at this point it's kind of stood pad at that
- 52:30position. Another sneaky good pick up was
- 52:35the Woesley Kid or Woesley, whatever his name is, that we
- 52:38just got today. That's the nickel.
- 52:42I think that was a good pick up. I was excited about that.
- 52:46He's got some some game reps that will help.
- 52:50But again, going back to the safety position and football,
- 52:56it's all about being healthy, you know what I'm saying?
- 52:58I think Q is a a Sunday guy. That's just me looking at his
- 53:04potential, but he's got to stay healthy, you know what I'm
- 53:07saying? But putting it all together,
- 53:12maybe the coaches move some people around or maybe they see
- 53:14some stuff we don't because we have not.
- 53:17We haven't went after any safeties.
- 53:20None. We haven't went after no
- 53:22safeties or maybe we have, we just don't know about it.
- 53:26But from what we've seen, we haven't targeted any safety, so
- 53:30they got to like what they see out of Robinson and what they
- 53:34see out of Reddish and all those guys back on the back end.
- 53:38I think flowers may be back flowers.
- 53:41Yeah. Bass.
- 53:42Yeah, bass. I forgot about bass.
- 53:44Bass cool cool cool red shirt. I don't even remember seeing him
- 53:48do nothing, so I can't even say nothing.
- 53:51I don't know what Global can do. I know one thing that Bass can
- 53:54do. Bass is going to hit somebody.
- 53:56We know he's going to hit somebody.
- 53:57We need you to cover a little bit too, buddy.
- 54:00But you're going. To go lay somebody out, try to
- 54:04hit them like in the stomach or something.
- 54:06Don't go helmet to helmet. We need you to stay in the game
- 54:09well. What we don't need this year
- 54:12like that, like we thought we were going to need last year is
- 54:14quite as many safeties in the room.
- 54:18So because I mean, this is this is going to go back to kind of
- 54:20that hybrid 43 again, you're going to, you don't very much be
- 54:24looking at just two safeties on the field at any given time.
- 54:28You know, you got some position fluidity with that star
- 54:32position. You know, does a guy like Bass
- 54:36end up, you know, moving back into a star position after after
- 54:40that? I don't know who knows at this
- 54:44point, but you know, is it, I think I think we've got enough
- 54:48guys in that safety room whether we feel really good about
- 54:53everybody top to bottom that like I said, that remains to be
- 54:57seen. I think everybody that's in that
- 54:59room, you know, there's, there's nobody in there that I don't
- 55:03like a little bit, but I I wish we'd have got somebody else to
- 55:07maybe level up to run with Q in that starting to.
- 55:14OK, take a picture of that, everybody.
- 55:18Hey, me and Chris have talked about this a little bit.
- 55:21And I, I said, I said what I said and he said what he said
- 55:24and I, I think we're going to figure out which way it goes.
- 55:27So I, I hope he's right. Honestly, I hope he's right.
- 55:30You don't think he's right? No Brown.
- 55:32I don't know that he's right. I don't know that I'm right.
- 55:36I don't know that I'm right. I don't know that I'm right,
- 55:39though. I, I just being honest, like I,
- 55:41I, I think that, you know, a lot of this is going to depend on
- 55:47how available Q is throughout the year.
- 55:49If Q is available, I feel a whole lot better about this unit
- 55:53in general, right? If he if he plays at least 10 or
- 55:5611 games this year, I feel a whole lot better about that
- 56:00unit. You know what makes any.
- 56:03You might know what makes any secondary looks good or look
- 56:06better than it is dominant defensive line, something we
- 56:11didn't. Have pass rush a good.
- 56:13Pass rush, we could not get the quarterback on the ground.
- 56:15Not saying that having those guys in the back is not going to
- 56:18help, but we need them to be able to go get Pete you.
- 56:22Know what else make safeties look good?
- 56:24What good run fits from everybody else so they can just
- 56:28clean up the fucking mess. Oh, man, get get Brian.
- 56:33Listen, listen, you don't want to go with Brian.
- 56:35Go a couple years ago, get Brian about four drinks in and talk
- 56:39about safety run fits and what we had for a couple years about
- 56:42made Brian lose his damned mind. Safety safeties look real good
- 56:49when they can attack the spill area and there's not this much
- 56:52fucking space for them to have to play with, or they're having
- 56:57to run up and the guy's already 5 yards north of the line of
- 57:02scrimmage and they're kind of on an island.
- 57:05Safeties look a lot better when they can do stuff like that.
- 57:08100% All right, one last room to look at and this one I just want
- 57:14to throw it out in general because as of right now, only
- 57:18one portal addition, it was Keon Wiley guy who was getting looks
- 57:25back in 23 got injured in 24 when Tony Rojas went down.
- 57:30He basically took the back hat or took the back half of the
- 57:33year and played pretty damn good.
- 57:36So Keon Wiley along with I'm gonna make sure I get this right
- 57:39if I miss somebody, Noah's back gave back and just the other
- 57:44day, Caleb Spencer's back who led the team in tackles.
- 57:48Just in general, if if y'all have done more reading or
- 57:52looking on Wiley, how do you feel about him?
- 57:55And then how do y'all think about this whole group?
- 58:00I think Wiley's solid. I think Wiley's definitely going
- 58:03to come in and, and, and be a a good player for us.
- 58:10But I'm probably the most excited about, I can't even say
- 58:16the most excited. Caleb Spencer is a doll, you
- 58:21know, 100%. I think he kind of got
- 58:23overlooked for whatever reason, even leading the team in
- 58:25tackles. Everybody talked about everybody
- 58:27else on the defense except him. I was even about to do it right
- 58:31now because I was about to say I'm most excited about Noah
- 58:33Chambers. It's just because of watching
- 58:36him go out raw and play football was fun.
- 58:42You can see him try to get to the ball and get to the ball.
- 58:46It was like poetry in motion, you know, just watching him play
- 58:50because you just seen he has the natural ability to go and be a
- 58:54guy. So very excited about him.
- 58:57But Caleb Spencer, man Caleb Spencer is a like he's a
- 59:02undersized linebacker that does not play like he's undersized.
- 59:07He will go and a heart of a line put his nose in any dogpile.
- 59:12So that room is going to be fun to see.
- 59:17You know what we can do there. But again, that is also a room
- 59:22that injuries can derail that room really quickly.
- 59:26So I would be interested to see if they don't try to grab
- 59:31another piece or two there or have somebody else ready to go.
- 59:38Yeah. I mean, look at looking at
- 59:41what's coming back, obviously. You know.
- 59:45You can't say enough about Noah. Yeah, I feel like he's going to
- 59:50be the emotional heart of that unit.
- 59:55He's going to be the guy that that that's kind of bringing the
- 59:57juice. Yeah, at the same time you got,
- 1:00:01you got Caleb Spencer, you got Gabe coming back from injury
- 1:00:04fully. Now we'll see what another
- 1:00:06offseason in the in the weight program.
- 1:00:08You know, that's as far as his build and frame filling out is
- 1:00:12concerned. I think you'd still like to pick
- 1:00:16up one more piece here, like if if we're circling.
- 1:00:21For circling the the positions that I feel like we still got
- 1:00:24some work to do, I'd like one more offensive lineman, I'd like
- 1:00:29one more linebacker. I think, I think if I'd I'd take
- 1:00:34one more at each of those positions before I take a
- 1:00:36safety. Kind of going back to the
- 1:00:38previous question, I'd rather have one more linebacker, one
- 1:00:41more offensive lineman before I'd get a safety in house.
- 1:00:46Let me say this for Curtis Go. Y'all know I've been trying to
- 1:00:50be dignified, but I got to ask a question.
- 1:00:54Who looked at Brett Platterbaum and said you're 6 to 240, we
- 1:01:02going to put you on the defensive line.
- 1:01:04Brett Pry. I'm going to tell you right now
- 1:01:06buddy, you better act right this year.
- 1:01:10I've been trying to be cool. I ain't going to say what I've
- 1:01:14been saying in the chat, but Brett, you better get it
- 1:01:18together. I don't know why Clatter Bomb
- 1:01:21was moved to the defensive line when he's a linebacker.
- 1:01:27He's a from from all intents and purposes, he was a All state
- 1:01:31linebacker and looks like a linebacker.
- 1:01:35He looks like the most Virginia Tech linebacker that he is.
- 1:01:39I mean, go pull a picture up of Brett Clatterbaum and tell me,
- 1:01:44does he look like he's supposed to be on Virginia Tech's
- 1:01:46defensive line or is he supposed to be on Virginia Tech's
- 1:01:48linebacker room? Linebacker room, Supposed to be
- 1:01:51in the linebacker room. Brett.
- 1:01:54Bret, you better get it right. I got a lot of names I want to
- 1:01:57call this year. Don't make me use them.
- 1:02:00It's loaded, this gun loaded over here with all kinds of
- 1:02:03names. Pickle Rick.
- 1:02:07All peanuts in they. They know you better act right.
- 1:02:13Let's go. But I'm better.
- 1:02:15Go ahead. No, no, no.
- 1:02:16I mean, I think y'all kind of laid it out to linebacker room.
- 1:02:19I think Noah, Noah's special. I think having a guy like Keon
- 1:02:23who's played in it, it's more of the calm presence.
- 1:02:27You know, he's probably going to know where to do what to go.
- 1:02:32And again, Caleb Spencer, you said he's a dog, does not get
- 1:02:34the credit he's deserved. Made so many plays the last
- 1:02:37couple years that are unheralded.
- 1:02:41So we shall see. All right, real quick.
- 1:02:44And actually, I know there's some folks out in the chat.
- 1:02:46I want to hear at least everybody's this so that
- 1:02:49everybody who left anybody you hated to see leave.
- 1:02:59This is to us or you waiting on the.
- 1:03:02Chap can put their stuff out there too.
- 1:03:03I'll talk about I. Would I would probably say just
- 1:03:07me looking at it, Isaiah Spencer and I thought he had a lot of
- 1:03:14upside, kind of got a raw deal of not being able to get the
- 1:03:17ball thrown to you. But I think that Isaiah Spencer
- 1:03:21was more of a ain't going to say hate to see him go because I
- 1:03:24think we're OK in that room. But I wasn't expecting him to
- 1:03:30leave. So that one threw me for a
- 1:03:33little bit of a loop. Came by Brian.
- 1:03:40I mean, probably Cam Selden, yeah.
- 1:03:44I like seeing what he was able to do with kind of a limited
- 1:03:50receiving package last year. It wasn't exactly what you
- 1:03:54wanted to see from that perspective, but he was able to
- 1:03:57do some some really good work in some some limited action not
- 1:04:01getting the targets I think he probably needed in the offense.
- 1:04:07Sounds like that's more of a of a square peg round hole as far
- 1:04:10as what we want him to do, what he wants to do from a position
- 1:04:14standpoint going forward. You know, if he, if he's looking
- 1:04:18to be more running back, I think we're all, we're all set at that
- 1:04:21position based on, you know what, what Hawk can do, what JOJ
- 1:04:28can do. Yeah.
- 1:04:32I think his skill set, there's, there's too much overlap with
- 1:04:34those two guys for him to really make any, any noise in that
- 1:04:37position. So I think it's just kind of a
- 1:04:40mismatch situation. But I just I, I like the way he
- 1:04:42plays. He's physical, he runs hard.
- 1:04:47Yeah, he he, he makes the plays. So losing a guy like that kind
- 1:04:51of hurts a little bit, but but since we're talking about guys
- 1:04:54leaving, Curtis, I'll let you I'll let you jump in with yours
- 1:04:56in the second. Who is that?
- 1:04:59Who is this? Who is it?
- 1:05:04Isaiah Spencer. Isaiah Spencer.
- 1:05:06Spencer went to Old Miss. Yep, Yep.
- 1:05:09Yeah, he got in and got out quick, huh?
- 1:05:11Yeah, he was in and out, yeah. Damn.
- 1:05:14He must, he must have had that, that that qualified offer ready
- 1:05:18to go. What's everybody's thoughts on
- 1:05:23Christian Ellis and and the UVA situation?
- 1:05:29That's my thoughts on yeah, one game, man.
- 1:05:34I mean no disrespect to the kid. Yeah, one game.
- 1:05:36Then you go to the OPS. You know what I'm saying?
- 1:05:39You could have went anywhere in the world, but you went to the
- 1:05:42OPS. You went there?
- 1:05:43You went there? Yeah.
- 1:05:45We got to spit on your grave. Hospital.
- 1:05:49Hey man, I'm. Gonna go with that.
- 1:05:51Funny because I thought for a second he announced he was going
- 1:05:54to UVA like what, a week ago, almost almost two weeks ago?
- 1:05:59Like right out the gate he go down like that that came out.
- 1:06:02And happy to go to UVA Boy. That that that official
- 1:06:06announcement took a long time. It took a long time for that to
- 1:06:11work out. So I don't know if that was a,
- 1:06:13you know, make sure we got the numbers before we say you get in
- 1:06:16the boat type of deal or what it was, but I got interested.
- 1:06:20Why y'all dance around this? Because it's it's Caleb Woodson
- 1:06:26is the interesting one. Because how many times this
- 1:06:29program, this program not anybody else that the day Caleb
- 1:06:35came out it was like that kids underrated that kids a baller
- 1:06:39and and everybody by the way, Tally, I really want your people
- 1:06:44in Alabama to go through like a four and eight season.
- 1:06:47They'd kill each other down there.
- 1:06:48They'd be people murdered. Why don't you want them to just
- 1:06:52to see them misery? I live here.
- 1:06:53Shit, I want my house to get looted.
- 1:06:57But but. Seriously.
- 1:06:59Our kids in here, man. Yeah, you do.
- 1:07:01You understand it is when we lose, when Virginia Tech loses.
- 1:07:05It's normal. Like people don't we go on
- 1:07:08Twitter and go on spaces and stuff like that.
- 1:07:10These people go and run their cars into fucking Target and
- 1:07:13stuff. They do some crazy stuff down
- 1:07:16here when Alabama ain't good. Dude, I was on a cruise.
- 1:07:20I was on the cruise when Georgia and Alabama played.
- 1:07:25It was an old man. I know.
- 1:07:26It ruined this trip. I thought he was going to drown
- 1:07:28himself in the pool. That mug said, I'm going to bed.
- 1:07:34Roll Tide took his drink, threw it in the trash, almost pushed
- 1:07:38his wife down. I was like, Jesus, all right.
- 1:07:42But they they on a different level down here.
- 1:07:44Listen, Caleb Woodson, more power to you, man.
- 1:07:48I hope he goes to Alabama. I think that it's going to help
- 1:07:51Caleb Woodson if he goes down there and he gets focused like
- 1:07:54Monsoor Duane did. He went to LSU and he got
- 1:07:57focused. I think Caleb Woodson was
- 1:07:59complacent at Virginia Tech. I think that Pry and the
- 1:08:04coaching staff allowed him to do some things that he probably
- 1:08:07shouldn't have did. Us as a fan base probably
- 1:08:10allowed him to do some things that he shouldn't have did and
- 1:08:12maybe not play up his to his potential.
- 1:08:14But oh buddy, you better bet your what you say your big ass,
- 1:08:18big sweet ass, whatever you said.
- 1:08:20You better bet that fat, you bet your big fat, you better bet
- 1:08:25your big fat ass when he go to Alabama and he mess up, you
- 1:08:28going to know it if he messes up, I hope he don't.
- 1:08:32But if you go to Alabama and you miss a tackle, it's going to be
- 1:08:38bad, man. It's going to be.
- 1:08:40They. They they want Caleb, the board.
- 1:08:43They don't even want him to coach in college football no
- 1:08:45more. He went to the playoffs.
- 1:08:48And Went to the playoff, 110 games.
- 1:08:52They want him out. Won a playoff game.
- 1:08:54Fire him. Fire him.
- 1:08:55They want him fire. They hate him.
- 1:08:57They're calling Kaylin the whore.
- 1:09:01Jeez. Jeez.
- 1:09:04Craziness all right well that does wrap that.
- 1:09:08I mean I, I we thought about coming on last week, but it was
- 1:09:13like it's just not enough give it a week.
- 1:09:15We're going to probably have a full picture of what's going on
- 1:09:18and you know it's good to see it.
- 1:09:21So next is going to be the brain trust here along with Shelton.
- 1:09:27By the way, Shelton's not here tonight.
- 1:09:29They Shelton is so esteemed from this program his his alma mater,
- 1:09:34high school alma mater allows him to be the primary speaker at
- 1:09:38functions now, just just in case y'all wonder where Shelton's at
- 1:09:42tonight, but let's flip to this couple news notes.
- 1:09:46First of all, spring game announced today, April 18th.
- 1:09:50I don't think that's a shock to anybody.
- 1:09:53Already got my hotel room. Did you pay $600?
- 1:09:56I did not. Did you pay a significant
- 1:09:58amount? I did not.
- 1:10:00Oh, that's good. You call, you call our buddy.
- 1:10:03Is that why you? Guys, I got in.
- 1:10:05I got in before the rates went up apparently.
- 1:10:08Damn nice. April 18th Brian's clearly gone.
- 1:10:15I am going to try this year to go hey.
- 1:10:19James said. We we need to fill lane man, you
- 1:10:21better be. There we need to fill lane I'm.
- 1:10:23Going to try to get up in now. I know it's going to be a lot of
- 1:10:26festivities going on, so I'm going to try to be that issue.
- 1:10:30I am going to try to be there. Well, second piece of news, we
- 1:10:35knew it was going to happen. We anticipated this and it
- 1:10:38actually makes sense of why it's this.
- 1:10:41JMU is pulled off the schedule for 2026 Tech Obviously,
- 1:10:47everybody knows Virginia Tech was one of the teams that's
- 1:10:50going to be playing nine games this year, not 8.
- 1:10:52Let's not get into that because that's a whole nother story.
- 1:10:56And it seemed like the only open week was legitimately that week.
- 1:11:03I'm not shocked by it, but hey, I mean, there's no shocking
- 1:11:18whatsoever that that's the game that that.
- 1:11:23Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:11:27Are you shot by Brown? Did I mean you?
- 1:11:29You're the one that I think pushed at least a few weeks ago
- 1:11:32that you wanted like, screw it, let's play them and stop from
- 1:11:35playing, OK? I mean, I get it's a no win
- 1:11:40situation for Virginia Tech, but it's no win situation regardless
- 1:11:43of you play. I, I would have liked to see
- 1:11:46the, the better match up considering how weak the overall
- 1:11:50schedule is for me. If you're replacing A-Team,
- 1:11:54replace VMI. But that being said, I mean,
- 1:11:57you, you were going to replace one of those or the other.
- 1:12:02I I saw somebody, I think it was Billy Ray tweet, you know,
- 1:12:07regardless of who you play week 1 BMI be you're going to have
- 1:12:09you're going to have juice in the stadium for that first game
- 1:12:11under James Franklin. So it that kind of doesn't
- 1:12:14really matter. You know, I think the only thing
- 1:12:19is that you give you give the the the the dumbasses that are
- 1:12:23JMU fans a little bit extra fodder now to to kind of throw
- 1:12:28in your face that you didn't have before.
- 1:12:30It's like, OK, well, you got rid of you got rid of this game.
- 1:12:34You know, everybody's still trying to talk about, you know,
- 1:12:38the, the, the time they got us. And I get that like it is what
- 1:12:41it is, but at the end of the day I would I would I still like to
- 1:12:45see the better match up, but I get why they went this
- 1:12:48direction. Right.
- 1:12:51Now understood. All right, last piece I want to
- 1:12:55discuss and use the notes is and I feel like it it came out our
- 1:13:04friend Robbie was down at the conference and he heard about
- 1:13:06it. But they're the the college
- 1:13:09football D1 coaches have all voted and approved and this will
- 1:13:13go back to the NCAA obviously that you can now red shirt and
- 1:13:19play 9 games. Why not?
- 1:13:26We got 37 y'alls playing. I mean it's all effed up anyway.
- 1:13:35Why not let them let them let them play and then red shirt if
- 1:13:38that's what they want to do? Brian, you got another thought
- 1:13:43on this. Don't.
- 1:13:43You, I got AI, got AI, got a different thought.
- 1:13:45If you're going to do 9 games, just just go ahead and give them
- 1:13:48the fifth year. I don't, I don't think that I
- 1:13:54don't like the idea that you've got to start.
- 1:13:57If you're giving them nine games, you might as well just
- 1:14:00let them play the rest of the year out.
- 1:14:03I, I don't want to have a, a really great freshman that
- 1:14:06starts the year and now all of a sudden I've got to sit them out
- 1:14:10three games that matter in a, in a conference, you know,
- 1:14:13championship situation where, where we can still win out.
- 1:14:16And, and they've been a, a key role player in the, in the team
- 1:14:18all year. I don't want to have to make
- 1:14:20that decision. At the same time, I get I get
- 1:14:28that red shirting is still you want red shirting to still be a
- 1:14:31thing. And and and if that's if that's
- 1:14:34what you're trying to do, this is the half measure for that to
- 1:14:37still be able to have a full red shirt and not go to a a true 5th
- 1:14:41year, then I guess this is fine. But it it feels like 1/2
- 1:14:46measure. I thought four games was good.
- 1:14:50If you want to still have the idea of a red shirt, 9 feels
- 1:14:54like going so far without going far enough if if you will.
- 1:15:00Yeah, I mean, I'm OK with it because we've seen things happen
- 1:15:04where you plan on red shirting the guy right in Game 6 and
- 1:15:09catastrophic stuff happens and it's like, well, they got to
- 1:15:11play and you're like, they don't have to play regardless.
- 1:15:16But now he loses his red shirt, he really shouldn't be playing.
- 1:15:20That's where I see the benefit of it.
- 1:15:23Also. I see the benefit of it because
- 1:15:25Brian, you're talking about the beginning season.
- 1:15:27We're now seeing what's the most important games of the season.
- 1:15:31It's your conference games. Because if you go run through
- 1:15:33your conference at 9 and O and you get to your championship
- 1:15:36game, that's all that matters now.
- 1:15:37And that's all that's going to matter in the future.
- 1:15:41Because in my opinion, I think within the next two years we're
- 1:15:44going to 16 teams and it's probably going to be regardless
- 1:15:47who the Champions are, the top 4 conferences they're going to get
- 1:15:50in. So, you know, but but you made a
- 1:15:56point, you and Robbie with Chad, me and you, Robbie with Chad and
- 1:15:58the other day. And it's just like, well, fuck
- 1:16:00it, just make it 5 years eligibility because I didn't
- 1:16:04graduate in three years or four years.
- 1:16:06Brian, did you graduate in four years?
- 1:16:08I. Did not.
- 1:16:09Did you graduate in four years? If you and the Chad graduated in
- 1:16:14four years, please let us know because it's something like like
- 1:16:17what? 58% of people don't graduate in
- 1:16:19four years, so the majority of the student body does not
- 1:16:23graduate in four years. Maybe we should just say screw
- 1:16:25it you get 5 years. Maybe this will end stupid
- 1:16:28Chandler Morris, Diego Pavi and all those dumbasses.
- 1:16:31Hey can I get another eligibility?
- 1:16:33You 26 go get a job, go to the league, go to the UFM, go to
- 1:16:39Europe, do something just stop. What else y'all want to talk
- 1:16:46about? X up 6, 15 minutes left to go in
- 1:16:511/2. Let's keep that up because you
- 1:16:53know, we've seen them give up some leads this year.
- 1:16:56So what do we want to talk about last week that was shitty?
- 1:17:04That wouldn't hurt, that wouldn't, that wouldn't burn the
- 1:17:06asshole. That one didn't burn the
- 1:17:08asshole. All sorts of good things.
- 1:17:11Y'all can sound clips. Cal, you got anything else you
- 1:17:15want to talk about other than we ain't got a safeties coach?
- 1:17:19We too much since Jane Franklin got high, we ain't got safety.
- 1:17:22Coach we don't got a safeties coach.
- 1:17:24We need a safeties coach. But guess what?
- 1:17:28We got James, we're going to be high.
- 1:17:29He going to figure it out. Not saying we don't need no
- 1:17:32safety coach. James, you got to get a safety
- 1:17:34coach and keep your eye on Brenton Still.
- 1:17:38Watching, I think he had a guy he wanted but he got wrapped up
- 1:17:41in that more shenanigans. Well, listen, listen.
- 1:17:46Me and Tally talked on the phone today because, Brian, you shared
- 1:17:50that with us. And y'all, it's it's stuff out
- 1:17:53there. You can find it.
- 1:17:53But me and Tyler made the point, like, if this was three years
- 1:17:58from now and James Franklin was something like 32 and six, we
- 1:18:01wouldn't give a shit. Like, Nope, I don't care.
- 1:18:03Hire, hire and bring them in. Who cares?
- 1:18:06This is the beginning. You can't do it at the
- 1:18:08beginning. You can't.
- 1:18:10So what else? Stick it in back?
- 1:18:15We hope so, yeah. Today is Tuesday, Chris.
- 1:18:22So next Tuesday. Today is Wednesday.
- 1:18:26Oh y'all see This is why I messed up.
- 1:18:28I'm a day behind So what is it? Does he mean Thursday then?
- 1:18:33No, I think. He's the math.
- 1:18:35The math The math is going crazy right now.
- 1:18:38Yeah, it's all sorts of crazy shit.
- 1:18:40We all think it's going on Monday night.
- 1:18:44I think Indiana's going to smoke them, but if they.
- 1:18:47Martin Luther King, guy. If Miami can win the line of
- 1:18:50scrimmage, then if it could be a good game, but if they can't,
- 1:18:54it's going to be over quick. I didn't realize Indiana had the
- 1:19:00whole team full of 30 year olds. Pretty much 5th, 6th year guys.
- 1:19:04Man, it's going to be hard, man. Sigmet, he's got it going.
- 1:19:10He does and they are well coached.
- 1:19:14They're smart again. They're old so they listen.
- 1:19:17They probably ain't going out wasting all their money and
- 1:19:19doing dumb shit. Yes, Jim, that's what that's
- 1:19:23what the whispers are at this point that that we've.
- 1:19:27Heard so I don't believe nobody no more Jim.
- 1:19:30I don't never know. I'm just for the ride.
- 1:19:33I'm just alone for the ride. This, this is what I'll say and
- 1:19:37I talked with a a guy about it at work the other day.
- 1:19:41The one chance Miami has and you can still not on here.
- 1:19:45Miami's got to come out with that first job and absolutely
- 1:19:47establish and I'm talking like NFL type 789 minute drive just
- 1:19:52to say this is going to be a slow pace game.
- 1:19:56We're not going to do dumb shit because Indiana had like 2
- 1:20:02games, has had two games where they looked uncomfortable too.
- 1:20:10They looked uncomfortable at Ohio State.
- 1:20:12Luckily that some bitch can't kick a field goal in the Oregon
- 1:20:15original Oregon game. Miami's upside there.
- 1:20:18It's a home game. It's a home game.
- 1:20:21There's going to be somebody in Miami so on on half the state of
- 1:20:24Indiana after kickoff because they're going to sell them
- 1:20:27tickets for 100,000. They're going to buy.
- 1:20:29All right, let's see, what's the current?
- 1:20:34Still up six. Y'all got anything else before
- 1:20:37we And there you go, Penn State took him to the toe tap.
- 1:20:43It's true. Y'all got anything else boys?
- 1:20:48I'm good, I'm good. Bro.
- 1:20:50Well, appreciate everybody in the chat tonight.
- 1:20:52I see some familiar faces, some new names.
- 1:20:55Always throw your opinions in there.
- 1:20:57If it's good enough, they'll make it on the screen.
- 1:21:00If it's good enough, it may not make it on the screen.
- 1:21:02Because if you say it early, if you say good stuff too early,
- 1:21:05and when we ain't talking about that right away, a lot of times
- 1:21:09I don't feel like scrolling back up because that means we got to
- 1:21:12find it. So wait until we're talking.
- 1:21:15Sometimes I make a note, sometimes I make a note.
- 1:21:18So if you have what you think is a good question, we're going to
- 1:21:21talk about it. Hold it until we are talking
- 1:21:23about it, please, please, because we'll try to inform you
- 1:21:27that it's coming later. So keep it, keep it in the
- 1:21:31chamber. I do like to throw the.
