- 0:47Speaker 1: decided to go to the NFL. Scott uh No.
- 0:50Speaker 4: I mean I'd seen during the season that he was
- 0:52Speaker 4: getting some grades. It depends on Howie tests. I mean,
- 1:04Speaker 4: how's he going to measure? How close was A and
- 1:07Speaker 4: M to his measurements? Is there going to be any surprises?
- 1:10Speaker 4: Is he going to be like Pavia and be an
- 1:12Speaker 4: inch and a half shorter than what you think he is,
- 1:17Speaker 4: be five to nine and a half and in the
- 1:19Speaker 4: middle of another lawsuit with with the NCAA. I don't
- 1:24Speaker 4: know is he you know, can he stick in the NFL?
- 1:30Speaker 4: I don't know how long you stick? But drafted or
- 1:34Speaker 4: on a team next year? Yeah, I think he would
- 1:36Speaker 4: be in that position. I mean, I think.
- 1:41Speaker 1: That he's a guy that it would be hard to
- 1:49Speaker 1: keep off your final squad after you've seen him for
- 1:54Speaker 1: the summer.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Right. My issue is what happens when he is playing yeah,
- 2:01Speaker 4: uh in the NFL and they are playing safeties that
- 2:04Speaker 4: are the same size as Tory in York.
- 2:08Speaker 1: Exactly.
- 2:09Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean that that's when it runs into a problem,
- 2:12Speaker 4: no doubt. You know, they're running two steps faster, they're
- 2:17Speaker 4: the same size. We're rotating those guys down the bay.
- 2:20Speaker 4: It's you know, the the NFL is full of guys
- 2:26Speaker 4: that were all SEC. And they're full of guys that
- 2:31Speaker 4: were all I mean, and they're guys that were all SEC.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That didn't make it.
- 2:36Speaker 4: Don't make it, no doubt. He's a good football player.
- 2:39Speaker 1: So before we go into the playoffs, but this just it, Oh,
- 2:45Speaker 1: this just ind We'll get we're getting there getting there. Yeah,
- 2:57Speaker 1: put off.
- 2:57Speaker 4: Tech sacks fifty three minutes ago, So it's kind of stupid.
- 3:01Speaker 4: Former Alabama offensive lineman Will conform Me has announced his
- 3:05Speaker 4: intentions to transfer to Texas A and M six with
- 3:09Speaker 4: seven three hundred and twenty five pound tackle will come
- 3:11Speaker 4: to Texas A and M with two years of eligility
- 3:15Speaker 4: remaining after starting all fourteen games for Alabama in twenty
- 3:19Speaker 4: twenty five.
- 3:21Speaker 1: How much, I mean, how much? How much it costs?
- 3:25Speaker 4: I don't know? He did. He loves A and M.
- 3:28Speaker 1: Okay, but I mean how much? So Lenard's bracketology, Yes,
- 3:39Speaker 1: redefined PRIP. Please A and M is in the current field?
- 3:43Speaker 4: Why?
- 3:44Speaker 1: As an sec bid thief?
- 3:46Speaker 4: Why?
- 3:47Speaker 1: But will forfeit that a Q spot to either Alabama
- 3:53Speaker 1: or Vanderbilt.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Unless both of them lose tonight?
- 3:57Speaker 1: The team in this position at the end of the
- 4:01Speaker 1: night will assume the spot of Texas A and M.
- 4:06Speaker 4: What if both of them lose?
- 4:09Speaker 1: He doesn't say say that.
- 4:12Speaker 4: I mean, who's who's Vandy playing Alabama?
- 4:16Speaker 5: Oh?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Okay, so both of them can't lose?
- 4:17Speaker 1: Yeah that's true.
- 4:18Speaker 4: Okay, okay, what do you you know? You asked me?
- 4:24Speaker 4: Alabama looks like Alabama Vandy looks like, you know that
- 4:32Speaker 4: they were smart not to you know, they got the
- 4:35Speaker 4: coach they needed. They gave him some money for basketball.
- 4:38Speaker 4: He made good choices. Okay, Georgia watching them the other
- 4:43Speaker 4: day even you know, even though it was an overtime
- 4:47Speaker 4: win against an Auburn team that you know, scored one
- 4:51Speaker 4: and hundred points.
- 4:52Speaker 1: I watched him last night at Florida. Yeah, because I
- 4:54Speaker 1: hadn't seen him.
- 4:55Speaker 4: Yes, I mean they came into last night's game averaging
- 4:59Speaker 4: ninety nine points again and they were number one in
- 5:00Speaker 4: the country.
- 5:01Speaker 1: They have some athletes, no doubt.
- 5:03Speaker 4: Yes, and it looks like they're getting better coaching than they
- 5:06Speaker 4: did when Tom Crean was there.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yes, they I think they played a desperate team on
- 5:16Speaker 1: their home court last night. That's pretty good. Yeah, right, Yes,
- 5:21Speaker 1: this Florida team. I know the players are frustrated, and
- 5:26Speaker 1: they should be, but their guard play is lacking.
- 5:31Speaker 6: You know.
- 5:31Speaker 1: Their post play can compete with Michigan and anybody else
- 5:34Speaker 1: in college basketball, yes, but their guard play is lacking
- 5:37Speaker 1: and I don't see that changing a lot.
- 5:39Speaker 4: He was better last the point guard was better last
- 5:41Speaker 4: night than he had been. Yeah, and when he is
- 5:45Speaker 4: they once again looked like a top ten basketball team.
- 5:48Speaker 1: Yeah, I guess they.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Don't have the guard play they had last year.
- 5:53Speaker 1: Well, no, those those guys were in the league for
- 5:57Speaker 1: a reason. Those guys were There's a reason they won
- 6:01Speaker 1: the national championship. Right. Yes, I mean the post players
- 6:04Speaker 1: were good, but the guard play held everything together. Yes, right.
- 6:08Speaker 1: Speaking of which, I watched Houston and Texas Tech last night.
- 6:12Speaker 4: I did not know they played.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Oh my, well, they're on FS one, But my gosh,
- 6:18Speaker 1: I said, that's for the first hour. It's like teams
- 6:21Speaker 1: in a mirror playing each other, right, and it is.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It is not pretty to watch. It is hand to hand,
- 6:28Speaker 1: everything contested, coaches in players faces, It is intense. And
- 6:36Speaker 1: both of these teams, both of these teams are Final
- 6:39Speaker 1: Four capable. I think there's about twelve to fifteen teams
- 6:44Speaker 1: that I would say that about right now. There are
- 6:48Speaker 1: a lot of good teams, and there are a lot
- 6:51Speaker 1: of good young players. It's gonna be a fun year.
- 6:57Speaker 4: Did you watch any of Texas and Tennessee?
- 6:58Speaker 1: I did not, guy, I mean, I didn't think that
- 7:03Speaker 1: there's anything that could happen that would surprise me in
- 7:05Speaker 1: that game.
- 7:05Speaker 4: Well, the worst thing that could possibly happen happen to Texas.
- 7:09Speaker 1: What happened, Well, Sean Miller got.
- 7:11Speaker 4: Mad and bench two of the guys he's paying a
- 7:12Speaker 4: bunch of money to and put in two subs. And uh,
- 7:17Speaker 4: they scored one less point in the second half than
- 7:20Speaker 4: they then Tennessee did. So they didn't win the second half, right,
- 7:24Speaker 4: but they were competitive. Did that mean you're Richardson's Eagles
- 7:28Speaker 4: were as good as Ebilene? No, even though you'll won
- 7:32Speaker 4: the second half. No, So benching a bunch of your guys.
- 7:36Speaker 4: So now he's created controversy by benching his starters. I don't.
- 7:42Speaker 1: I think he benched whoever he wants to bench, and
- 7:45Speaker 1: and it's really not going to make a huge difference.
- 7:48Speaker 1: They're just there. They don't have the talent that a
- 7:52Speaker 1: lot of teams they're going to be playing half period. Yeah,
- 7:57Speaker 1: they just don't. They don't have a consistent shooter, they
- 8:02Speaker 1: don't have a consistent postman. They just don't have a
- 8:07Speaker 1: lot of things. So I don't think they're going to
- 8:10Speaker 1: be very good this year, and they're not very good
- 8:13Speaker 1: right now. I think it's been a long year for
- 8:16Speaker 1: Sean Miller, but I'm willing to give him a little time, yeah,
- 8:22Speaker 1: and not much time in this day and age. But frankly,
- 8:25Speaker 1: sometime now I'll tell you this, and talking to Kirk
- 8:31Speaker 1: before the season and in the offseason, I don't know
- 8:35Speaker 1: how committed they were financially to putting a great team
- 8:40Speaker 1: on the floor this year. I mean, I don't know
- 8:42Speaker 1: that right right, it would be unusual, let's just put
- 8:47Speaker 1: it that way for that university to not But if
- 8:53Speaker 1: that's the case, Sean Miller and his coaching staff didn't
- 8:59Speaker 1: do very well, especially when you put that up against
- 9:04Speaker 1: what Bucky has done here, you know, with what too
- 9:09Speaker 1: fewer months to get that done. I don't remember when
- 9:12Speaker 1: Sean Miller was hired, but it was pretty early in
- 9:14Speaker 1: the in the process, after the after March was over,
- 9:18Speaker 1: I think.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Before we get get to football. Yes, okay, besides LSU,
- 9:24Speaker 4: who is owing.
- 9:26Speaker 1: To Did you see how they got to Owen too
- 9:30Speaker 1: at home last night? They were down forty to fifteen
- 9:34Speaker 1: to South Carolina at home in the first half.
- 9:37Speaker 4: Did they cheer for Kiffin?
- 9:39Speaker 1: I would I didn't watch. He was there, Yeah, I
- 9:43Speaker 1: don't want you.
- 9:43Speaker 4: Have you not heard about this? No? No, Kiffen was
- 9:46Speaker 4: there with the Arizona State quarterback Lovett.
- 9:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeahs were there? Yeah?
- 9:52Speaker 4: Okay, when the Washington quarterback that's getting sued now by
- 9:56Speaker 4: Washington because he signed a contract on January second showed
- 10:00Speaker 4: up for his recruiting trip.
- 10:03Speaker 1: At the game, Yes, Oh that's cool. Is that where
- 10:07Speaker 1: he tracked laying down? Yeah?
- 10:11Speaker 4: Okay. So LSU has three losses because they didn't play
- 10:15Speaker 4: anybody in non conference, Yes, okay, But Texas has six losses,
- 10:19Speaker 4: Auburn has six losses, Ole Miss has six losses, Kentucky
- 10:24Speaker 4: has five losses, South Carolina has five losses, Florida has
- 10:30Speaker 4: five losses, Mississippi State has five losses. Everybody else other
- 10:35Speaker 4: than that is under four under. I'm not saying that
- 10:40Speaker 4: the league is could reach what it did last year. Good,
- 10:45Speaker 4: but wow, there's a bunch of losses in here that
- 10:49Speaker 4: these teams didn't have last year.
- 10:51Speaker 1: Well, of course, Well that's a once in a generation
- 10:55Speaker 1: deal last year. It's not last year. And I don't
- 10:59Speaker 1: know that there's a great team is as many teams
- 11:01Speaker 1: as I've watched so far, I'm still not sold on
- 11:07Speaker 1: there being a great team in the SEC yet.
- 11:09Speaker 4: So what you're telling me is when Vanderbilt's leading the league,
- 11:12Speaker 4: in football and Vanderbilts league in the league in basketball,
- 11:15Speaker 4: you've got some question.
- 11:16Speaker 1: It's a crazy year.
- 11:18Speaker 4: If they're leading the league in baseball, you're not gonna
- 11:21Speaker 4: have questions.
- 11:21Speaker 1: You know, I've watched Vanderbilt and they're a good, solid
- 11:23Speaker 1: basketball team. They have a couple of really nice players.
- 11:28Speaker 1: You know, I don't think they're great. You know, I
- 11:30Speaker 1: don't think they can stand up to and what are
- 11:34Speaker 1: they eleventh? I don't know if they can stand up
- 11:36Speaker 1: to any of the teams in front of them in
- 11:37Speaker 1: the top ten.
- 11:38Speaker 4: For you said that there was twelve teams that can
- 11:40Speaker 4: win the title.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I did, but I just said wish I said twelve
- 11:43Speaker 1: to fifteen.
- 11:45Speaker 4: So in your top fifteen teams to go with the title?
- 11:48Speaker 1: Now I don't think so.
- 11:49Speaker 4: Then who are the five teams that are worse than
- 11:52Speaker 4: Vandy that would be looking.
- 11:53Speaker 1: At Come on, I don't even I don't have the
- 11:55Speaker 1: list in front of me. Our basketball fan is yeah, okay,
- 12:01Speaker 1: let's do. Uh, let's do tomorrow night at the Fiesta
- 12:06Speaker 1: Bowl in uh Arizona.
- 12:08Speaker 4: Have you given away your Bowl contest? Yes?
- 12:11Speaker 1: Did that yesterday?
- 12:12Speaker 4: Okay I didn't win it.
- 12:13Speaker 1: No, I'm sorry you did not Okay, I didn't either.
- 12:18Speaker 1: A lot of people were eight and two.
- 12:20Speaker 4: Okay, I don't think I was eight and two.
- 12:22Speaker 1: I think I was seven and three. All right, So
- 12:28Speaker 1: you have Ole Miss Miami. I saw Miami as a
- 12:33Speaker 1: slight favorite. I see that.
- 12:35Speaker 7: Right.
- 12:35Speaker 4: If Chambliss plays like he did in any quarter of
- 12:39Speaker 4: that game, like he did in the fourth quarter against Georgia,
- 12:45Speaker 4: eventually Miami's coach will turn back into Miami's.
- 12:48Speaker 1: Coach still waiting for that to happen.
- 12:50Speaker 4: I gotta tell you, Chambalas if he makes Chamblis not
- 12:52Speaker 4: look like that because his defense is that good, I
- 12:56Speaker 4: think Miami covers that.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Okay, it's all on Chambless. Well, if I got it's
- 13:02Speaker 1: own champ if I got to put it on somebody,
- 13:04Speaker 1: he'd be a guy that I.
- 13:08Speaker 8: No.
- 13:08Speaker 1: Not all all.
- 13:09Speaker 4: These quarterbacks are pretty good in the in the playoffs.
- 13:11Speaker 1: That's the point, right, that's the point. These are national
- 13:16Speaker 1: championship caliber quarterbacks.
- 13:19Speaker 4: And one of them already has a title.
- 13:21Speaker 1: One of them does have a title. One of them
- 13:26Speaker 1: is going to get another one or a title. But
- 13:30Speaker 1: I don't know, you know, after watching Old Miss against Georgia,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I don't know how much of that you know, in
- 13:37Speaker 1: conference teams play, there's a familiarity about it right there.
- 13:42Speaker 1: There there aren't any uh surprises.
- 13:45Speaker 4: Yes, but Chip, he was making plays.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Oh, I'm not I'm not disputing any of that. I'm
- 13:50Speaker 1: just saying they're not intimidated by Georgia, right. They they
- 13:55Speaker 1: had Georgia. They had Georgia beat the fourth quarter, right, yes, Uh,
- 13:59Speaker 1: and couldn't call it.
- 14:00Speaker 4: Yes.
- 14:00Speaker 1: So it's not like they're going, oh, we're playing Georgia.
- 14:04Speaker 1: You know, it's like, yeah, give us another shot. Right,
- 14:08Speaker 1: And they played great. I thought their lines of scrimmage
- 14:11Speaker 1: were really good.
- 14:13Speaker 4: Uh, but you're right, Miami, there's more pressure on you
- 14:15Speaker 4: than Georgia does.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Miami will have more pressure, no doubt. But let's let's
- 14:23Speaker 1: see if they can catch him. You know, can they
- 14:25Speaker 1: catch Chamberlis?
- 14:26Speaker 4: How many coaches are going to show up tomorrow for Mississippi?
- 14:30Speaker 1: Oh, I don't know that. Didn't he call him back?
- 14:33Speaker 4: Yes?
- 14:34Speaker 1: Right? Yes, they're done.
- 14:36Speaker 4: No, No one knows what's going to happen.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Oh, they don't know if they're coming back for the
- 14:41Speaker 1: game or no. Okay, you know at this.
- 14:45Speaker 4: Point is yeah, but Chip, I also think that there's
- 14:48Speaker 4: some familiarity and stuff like that. Oh that that's a
- 14:51Speaker 4: big that's going to rock the bolt in this game.
- 14:53Speaker 1: There's no doubt that's a big deal.
- 14:55Speaker 9: Right.
- 14:56Speaker 1: You got Charlie Weist junior calling your plays.
- 14:59Speaker 4: He's still doing it. But I'm saying all the other
- 15:01Speaker 4: offensive coaches, Okay, if you're going from your from your
- 15:04Speaker 4: offensive line coach and your wide receivers coach to a
- 15:07Speaker 4: ga even though he's been sitting in the meetings this
- 15:12Speaker 4: whole time, I don't know.
- 15:14Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 15:15Speaker 4: You better have your line coach against this Miami group
- 15:18Speaker 4: because they're going to get after you with that line.
- 15:21Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it'll be it's gonna be entertaining, I think.
- 15:27Speaker 4: Okay.
- 15:28Speaker 1: And then on to Peach Bowl Oregon Indiana.
- 15:33Speaker 4: Uh so we just talked about it. Mississippi had Georgia down, okay,
- 15:44Speaker 4: and then lost him in the first time. Oregon had
- 15:48Speaker 4: a chance to win that game against Indiana and Indiana
- 15:52Speaker 4: pulls it out.
- 15:54Speaker 1: I thought, frankly, Indiana was a better team that day.
- 16:00Speaker 4: Yeah, because I respected Oregon lesson, I did Indiana.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Well, not not me. I thought Oregon would win that
- 16:08Speaker 1: game at home. I thought I thought they would prove
- 16:11Speaker 1: well Indiana's good, but they're not going into autsin and
- 16:14Speaker 1: beating Oregon. Right, and that that game, in my mind
- 16:19Speaker 1: opened my eyes to this year's Indiana team and I
- 16:22Speaker 1: and I hadn't seen seen Mendoza play a lot. Right,
- 16:25Speaker 1: I'm flipping over and a lot of times I'm flipping over.
- 16:30Speaker 1: It's like they're running forty yards for another score and
- 16:33Speaker 1: adding another, you know, fourteen points to the scoreboard in
- 16:37Speaker 1: the first half against a big any of the Big Ten,
- 16:41Speaker 1: any of the Big ten.
- 16:42Speaker 4: Teams besides Ohio State and Oregon, any of the Big
- 16:45Speaker 4: ten teams.
- 16:45Speaker 1: But I think that this Indiana team has proven they're
- 16:49Speaker 1: not one of those.
- 16:50Speaker 4: So I was hearing somebody today say, how does Mark
- 16:55Speaker 4: Davis not call up the Indiana coach? He said, Hey,
- 16:58Speaker 4: I googled you to come coach, Raiders. I hear you
- 17:02Speaker 4: win games.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I googled you.
- 17:05Speaker 4: You just won a national championship. Are they are the
- 17:08Speaker 4: prohibitive favorites to win this?
- 17:10Speaker 1: I think so?
- 17:12Speaker 4: In my mind, yes, it'll be the greatest coaching job
- 17:15Speaker 4: in the history of college football.
- 17:18Speaker 1: You're calling it if.
- 17:19Speaker 4: He wins a championship. Okay, Bill Snyder would have been it.
- 17:23Speaker 4: But RC beat him.
- 17:25Speaker 1: He didn't win a champion He didn't.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Win a championship like that. They got to number one.
- 17:29Speaker 4: It was amazing Iowa State to get up into the top. Hey, Chip,
- 17:38Speaker 4: what the pirate did at Texas Tech to have them
- 17:40Speaker 4: number one when they had never been them all great
- 17:42Speaker 4: coaching jobs. If he wins the title, this is the
- 17:45Speaker 4: greatest coaching.
- 17:48Speaker 1: Job ever, ever, better than Nick, better than Nick. I
- 17:57Speaker 1: think he did it at LSU Alabama.
- 18:01Speaker 4: He win at Michigan State. Did he win a title?
- 18:03Speaker 4: Did he win a Big Ten title?
- 18:05Speaker 1: Now?
- 18:05Speaker 4: Okay? Did he go to Rose Bowl at Michigan State? No? No, no, no,
- 18:10Speaker 4: He's done all of that.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 18:13Speaker 4: Now the game is completely different, But this coach is.
- 18:17Speaker 1: Not well that. What has stood out is just they're
- 18:24Speaker 1: so sound fundamentally right, They on both sides of the ball.
- 18:28Speaker 1: They are so technically sound. They don't make a lot
- 18:33Speaker 1: of mistakes. They don't do a lot of stuff to
- 18:36Speaker 1: beat yourselves. You don't see them making stupid penalties at
- 18:41Speaker 1: the wrong time of the football game.
- 18:43Speaker 4: They did against Penn State, but they did good enough
- 18:46Speaker 4: and they came back to win the game in the end, right, yea, yeah,
- 18:51Speaker 4: And sometimes that's what matters. Most. Yeah, absolutely, because either
- 18:57Speaker 4: they're going to win the whole thing or they're going
- 18:59Speaker 4: to get knocked out and it doesn't matter. But right
- 19:02Speaker 4: now they all think they're bulletproof because he has coached
- 19:05Speaker 4: him to the point where they don't think they can lose,
- 19:09Speaker 4: because he goes to him and says, hey, we're down
- 19:12Speaker 4: here in the fourth quarter, we were down to Penn State.
- 19:15Speaker 4: Let's go roll, yeah and go get it done.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Well, it's nice. It's nice to have a person getting
- 19:24Speaker 1: the ball that you know you can count on as well. Right, Yes,
- 19:27Speaker 1: they're going to go out and make that play. I'm
- 19:30Speaker 1: telling you, I've been super impressed watching these games with
- 19:34Speaker 1: Dante Moore as well. Yes, that all. As you mentioned,
- 19:39Speaker 1: there's a reason these four teams are in the semifinals
- 19:44Speaker 1: because their quarterback play. And if you would have said,
- 19:47Speaker 1: like at the first of the season, Carson Beck has Miami,
- 19:50Speaker 1: you know, playing for the semifinals, you'd be going, Okay, yeah,
- 19:54Speaker 1: we've seen that before. But he has been and a
- 19:58Speaker 1: lot of that is the style that Miami plays too. Right,
- 20:01Speaker 1: it's not all his fault that he's not putting up
- 20:03Speaker 1: three hundred yards passing a game and twenty five, Okay,
- 20:09Speaker 1: but what he did the last game, it was a
- 20:12Speaker 1: clean slate. You give me a clean slate right on
- 20:15Speaker 1: any of these four guys starting out right now, and
- 20:18Speaker 1: you tell me that in these next two games they
- 20:22Speaker 1: will not have one turnover, I'll tell you, well, that's
- 20:26Speaker 1: the team that's heavily favored to win the championship. That's
- 20:31Speaker 1: just that's how I think it plays out, because when
- 20:33Speaker 1: you get down to this, yeah, there can be blowouts.
- 20:37Speaker 1: We saw it unfortunately right last week. But the blowouts,
- 20:44Speaker 1: in my mind, have nothing to do with the strength
- 20:46Speaker 1: of the teams. They have to do with the moment.
- 20:49Speaker 1: They had to do with the with the turnovers they.
- 20:52Speaker 4: Had to do with not playing for twenty five.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Games, and that that part too.
- 20:56Speaker 4: Think that they're going to be in a sixteen team
- 20:58Speaker 4: tournament next year because these teams that have had the buys,
- 21:02Speaker 4: that are taking the losses, the people in their conference
- 21:05Speaker 4: are looking at it and going, I'd much rather they
- 21:09Speaker 4: play James Madison and stayed on track just like everybody
- 21:14Speaker 4: else did. Because who I know, you don't remember this,
- 21:19Speaker 4: but Detroit Lions were the best team in the NFL
- 21:22Speaker 4: last year and they took a bye and then got beat.
- 21:25Speaker 1: I do remember they were the best team and they
- 21:27Speaker 1: got beat.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Yes, so it's not just college. You get a weekly
- 21:33Speaker 4: game played kind of situation out of what you do
- 21:36Speaker 4: and it can't go bad. And it's always That's why
- 21:40Speaker 4: pick the color of the Bowl team. When it was
- 21:42Speaker 4: just bolts, you never knew what you were gonna get.
- 21:46Speaker 1: Okay, except for the Service academies.
- 21:49Speaker 4: Yes, so I just think that this is going to
- 21:54Speaker 4: lead to a change. You're gonna have sixteen teams and
- 21:57Speaker 4: I'll be fine with it, and you have a better
- 21:59Speaker 4: tournament next year because everybody would have stayed on track
- 22:02Speaker 4: and all played at the same time. But right now,
- 22:06Speaker 4: I think Indiana's beating Miami for the national championship.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Uh. You know, I don't think I'm gonna argue that.
- 22:16Speaker 1: I think the old Miss bubble bursts tomorrow night if
- 22:21Speaker 1: something goes wrong that they've been riding.
- 22:23Speaker 4: If something goes wrong and the bubbles pretty thin right now,
- 22:27Speaker 4: it's ready to pop. Yeah, Okay, I thought it was
- 22:31Speaker 4: ready to pop against Georgia, and Chamberliss just was like, Hey,
- 22:35Speaker 4: you know what, if I complete every pass the rest
- 22:37Speaker 4: of this game, we're not gonna lose. Yeah, because he
- 22:41Speaker 4: can't be that hot again.
- 22:42Speaker 1: Chip. Look, he's been really good all year long. He
- 22:47Speaker 1: really hasn't I get that, U saw. I saw that
- 22:53Speaker 1: with Michael Pinnix in the semifinals three years ago. He
- 22:57Speaker 1: was unbeatable that night. Yep, you weren't going to beat him. Oh,
- 23:00Speaker 1: because every pause you still do that. A quarterback can
- 23:05Speaker 1: still do it, doesn't matter what kind of style you have.
- 23:07Speaker 4: Nope, Johnny could do it. Yep, Roger Stallback could do it,
- 23:11Speaker 4: Mart Starr could do it. Tom Brady could do it.
- 23:15Speaker 4: All of these guys when they go to the next
- 23:18Speaker 4: level in a game, the defense is like, well, I
- 23:22Speaker 4: have perferct coverage on that guy.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Guess what quarterbacks still beach It doesn't matter. Yeah, yeah.
- 23:29Speaker 1: And the other thing is when these guys make those
- 23:31Speaker 1: kind of throws and you go, that's an unbelievable throw,
- 23:35Speaker 1: which they all are with guys draped all over them.
- 23:37Speaker 1: But then you have a receiver that's going up right
- 23:40Speaker 1: and also being a huge part of that play. Right. Yes,
- 23:46Speaker 1: you have guys threading the needle, but you also have
- 23:49Speaker 1: guys on the other end that are doing their part.
- 23:53Speaker 4: Because the other thing is Chambers has throwing me the ball.
- 23:56Speaker 4: I bet it gets to mean a catchable position.
- 23:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:00Speaker 10: Yeah, he dropped it over the guy dropped it over him,
- 24:03Speaker 10: right into his hands, because he's like, my guy's on
- 24:07Speaker 10: fire if I don't, if I don't do this pattern
- 24:11Speaker 10: to completion, I'm the one who made the mistake.
- 24:16Speaker 4: He's not because he's thrown it to me.
- 24:18Speaker 1: He had missed anything, He hadn't missed anything. Yeah. Well,
- 24:23Speaker 1: I'd like to see two games like that. Quite frankly,
- 24:26Speaker 1: the odds that we will aren't very good.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Carson Beck has got to Carson Beck has got to
- 24:31Speaker 4: get over two hundred yards passing. I'm saying all this
- 24:34Speaker 4: about Miami's defense. Carson Beck has got to be better
- 24:37Speaker 4: than he's been.
- 24:40Speaker 1: Yeah. If they're gonna win, and I think they're gonna win, yeah, uh, Okay,
- 24:47Speaker 1: I think we're done for now.
- 24:50Speaker 4: Really.
- 24:51Speaker 1: Yeah, let's check back at a week and see how
- 24:53Speaker 1: we're doing. Okay, Scott Clinton on with us here on

- 26:57Speaker 6: let me final one. I would put the over under
- 27:00Speaker 6: transfer quarterbacks at eight there. I just think it's going
- 27:04Speaker 6: to be teams get like a team like Miami, tough
- 27:07Speaker 6: to break the pattern. You get a transfer quarterback every
- 27:09Speaker 6: year and you have success with it. You want to
- 27:11Speaker 6: go back to that veteran Indiana. You don't want to

- 28:05Speaker 1: At a time. Mallory is welcoming twenty twenty six about
- 28:11Speaker 1: the way we all are, apparently brought to you by
- 28:15Speaker 1: Southwest Card World. It's been one of those days.
- 28:21Speaker 5: That one of those years already.
- 28:23Speaker 1: If something could go wrong, it did. But you don't
- 28:26Speaker 1: need to know that because you're just going to see
- 28:30Speaker 1: here the finished product, and it's just going to be lovely, exactly.
- 28:36Speaker 1: I get to start with the Simpsons story. They have
- 28:40Speaker 1: seeming well, apparently they've lopped off another character. Now they
- 28:47Speaker 1: didn't kill him. They didn't kill him. This is this
- 28:51Speaker 1: is a parody of severance. But Barry Duffman revealed that
- 28:59Speaker 1: his deaf beer mascot deaf Man, and his oh yeah
- 29:03Speaker 1: catchphrase are being sent to pasture. I have two words
- 29:08Speaker 1: to say to you, deaf Man told Homer, Marge, Lisa,
- 29:11Speaker 1: and Bart as he entered their home. Oh yeah, as
- 29:15Speaker 1: a family exclaimed deaf Man. The character revealed not anymore. Actually,
- 29:22Speaker 1: the Deaf Corporation has retired that character forever, because it
- 29:29Speaker 1: turns out he now works for the EOD Enthusiasm on Demand.
- 29:35Speaker 1: All of the old forms of advertising are now passe,
- 29:38Speaker 1: says deaf Man, corporate spokesman, print ads, TV spots, today's kids.
- 29:43Speaker 1: They can't even sing the jingles. At the end of
- 29:47Speaker 1: the episode, deaf Man shows up in front of Bart
- 29:50Speaker 1: and Lisa, donning a robe and looking an awful lot
- 29:55Speaker 1: like Pete who underwent reintegration in severance, which I have
- 30:00Speaker 1: no idea what they're talking about, revealing he'd undergone disseparance.
- 30:06Speaker 1: So apparently no more deaf Man.
- 30:12Speaker 5: I mean, I have that whole story.
- 30:15Speaker 7: I was really trying to process what you were saying,
- 30:19Speaker 7: and it was it wasn't happening.
- 30:21Speaker 5: There wasn't a whole lot.
- 30:23Speaker 1: You don't know about Separence either like that. Me neither
- 30:29Speaker 1: me neither.
- 30:31Speaker 4: Hey.
- 30:31Speaker 1: I did go to a movie over the holidays. I
- 30:34Speaker 1: did go to a movie.
- 30:36Speaker 2: What I.
- 30:39Speaker 1: Saw Sung Sung Blue. It was excellent. You know you.
- 30:46Speaker 1: Hugh Jackman is terrific, and so is Kate Hudson. The
- 30:51Speaker 1: acting was great. So yeah, I say, go see it.
- 30:55Speaker 1: Of course, the reason I went is I knew the
- 30:58Speaker 1: music would be good, and it was. So what did
- 31:02Speaker 1: you see?
- 31:03Speaker 7: Was that the same story where like the family wasn't
- 31:06Speaker 7: happy about the portrayal?
- 31:09Speaker 1: Uh No, I don't think so. You know he went
- 31:11Speaker 1: and talked to Neil Diamond. Uh before I think all the.
- 31:15Speaker 7: Filming, I think I'm getting get confused with something else.
- 31:19Speaker 5: Forget I even mentioned that I saw a kid's movie.
- 31:22Speaker 1: So what what did you see?
- 31:25Speaker 5: I saw Utopia too?
- 31:26Speaker 1: How was Utopia?
- 31:28Speaker 7: Honestly, look, I know you guys don't really care, but
- 31:30Speaker 7: I actually really enjoyed it.
- 31:32Speaker 5: I actually think I liked it more than the first.
- 31:34Speaker 1: Really, Okay, let me ask you this. Yeah, would I
- 31:38Speaker 1: be confused and disoriented if I went to this one
- 31:41Speaker 1: having not seen the first one?
- 31:44Speaker 7: I want to say no, just because you wouldn't get
- 31:47Speaker 7: the backstory of the two unlikely cop partners. Yeah, but
- 31:52Speaker 7: it's not that important really.
- 31:54Speaker 1: I mean, okay, I.
- 31:56Speaker 7: Think you could totally see because they kind of dive
- 31:58Speaker 7: in a little bit.
- 32:00Speaker 5: You're in there about the first one. But it's not like, okay,
- 32:03Speaker 5: you'd be still out of the blue.
- 32:04Speaker 7: It was cute, though, it was funny, okay, and yeah,
- 32:08Speaker 7: so there's that.
- 32:10Speaker 5: But let's move on.
- 32:10Speaker 7: Let's look to Taylor Swift because you know what, it's
- 32:13Speaker 7: a new year.
- 32:14Speaker 5: I'm still going to talk about her, aren't we.
- 32:17Speaker 1: I don't think so.
- 32:19Speaker 7: Legend has it, Taylor Swift has a new top single.
- 32:24Speaker 7: So the Fate of Aphilia has surpassed Anti Hero to
- 32:28Speaker 7: become the singer's longest running number one single, surging back
- 32:32Speaker 7: to the summit of the Billboard Hot one hundred for
- 32:34Speaker 7: a ninth non consecutor non consecutive week and eclipsing the
- 32:38Speaker 7: eight week reign of the Midnight's hit. According to Billboard Magazine,
- 32:43Speaker 7: the Fate of Afphilia logged eighteen point three million official
- 32:47Speaker 7: US dreams, up nine percent.
- 32:50Speaker 5: Over a week after a week over week sorry.
- 32:54Speaker 7: The rebound is more notably given the song's recent slide
- 32:57Speaker 7: amid the holiday season. The Life of a show Girl
- 33:00Speaker 7: single briefly fell out of the top ten altogether, dipping
- 33:04Speaker 7: to number twenty eighth.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Oh My brading back to number.
- 33:06Speaker 7: One reflects renewed to Phano momentum, which propelled Opal lighte
- 33:13Speaker 7: from number fifty four to eight on the album side
- 33:17Speaker 7: of Charles Showgirl logged a twelfth week at number one
- 33:20Speaker 7: on the Billboard two hundred. While it remains six week
- 33:24Speaker 7: shy of surpassing Swift's personal benchmark set by the Tortured
- 33:27Speaker 7: Poets Department, her broader catalog shows no signs of fading.
- 33:33Speaker 7: It makes sense because I feel like during the holiday season, obviously,
- 33:36Speaker 7: the classics and you know, Mariah Carey are just going
- 33:39Speaker 7: to top the charts.
- 33:40Speaker 5: So never fear, guys.
- 33:41Speaker 7: Taylor Swift's not falling from grace.
- 33:43Speaker 5: Okay, She's still doing great.
- 33:46Speaker 1: So Beyonce, we talked about this. There's a man accused
- 33:51Speaker 1: of stealing her personal belongings, including hard drives, contending unreleased music.
- 33:57Speaker 5: I forgot about that.
- 33:58Speaker 1: Calvin Evans appeared in court today in Atlanta to plead
- 34:02Speaker 1: not guilty of the charges. He's set to return to
- 34:07Speaker 1: court February eleventh. This past September, Atlanta Police Department confirmed
- 34:13Speaker 1: Evans was arrested taken into custody. During that time, stolen
- 34:18Speaker 1: items were recovered. Beyonce's team not responding yet. The incident
- 34:26Speaker 1: had taken place in July during her Cowboy Carter tour.
- 34:33Speaker 1: Oh Okay yep, two days before kicking off the first
- 34:36Speaker 1: show the singers, choreographer and one of her dancers reported
- 34:40Speaker 1: police that several sensitive items were stolen from their rental car.
- 34:46Speaker 1: They shouldn't have had him in a rental car, you
- 34:48Speaker 1: know what I'm saying.
- 34:50Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean I feel like that.
- 34:51Speaker 1: I mean, you just they should have had They shouldn't
- 34:54Speaker 1: have had him in your own car. They should be with.
- 34:56Speaker 7: You, yes, locked away safely or on you at all times.
- 35:01Speaker 1: Yeah, if it's that important, I don't know, was it
- 35:03Speaker 1: in your rental car. I feel like I feel like
- 35:06Speaker 1: somebody may may have lost their job over this thing.
- 35:10Speaker 7: I was about to say, I feel like it's probably
- 35:12Speaker 7: just one person's sole job to.
- 35:14Speaker 1: Be in charge exactly exactly.
- 35:19Speaker 5: Girl, hit us up. I mean, at the right price,
- 35:22Speaker 5: I can protect all your songs. We'll I'll keep your
- 35:24Speaker 5: hard for a.
- 35:25Speaker 1: Lot less than you're paying to have it.
- 35:27Speaker 7: Done exactly, and I won't leave it in a rental car.
- 35:31Speaker 7: I'll tell you that, I don't even leave anything in
- 35:34Speaker 7: my car when I leave my car.
- 35:36Speaker 5: I'm so weird about that. Well, guess what. We've got
- 35:39Speaker 5: some exciting news from King.
- 35:41Speaker 7: Charles that I know everyone's dying to hear.
- 35:43Speaker 9: Good.
- 35:45Speaker 7: He has announced an eight point seven million makeover of
- 35:49Speaker 7: a royal estate into a glamorous venue that will host
- 35:52Speaker 7: events including weddings.
- 35:54Speaker 4: Oh good gosh, you're exciting.
- 35:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 35:57Speaker 7: On January sixth, the King's Foundation unveiled the plans of
- 36:01Speaker 7: the multimillion dollar extension at I don't the way I
- 36:08Speaker 7: want to pronounce. There's no way that's how it's pronounced.
- 36:13Speaker 5: Is it dumbfreeze?
- 36:16Speaker 1: Why are you asking me this? This is your.
- 36:18Speaker 7: Story because you're better at words than I am. Anyways,
- 36:23Speaker 7: somehowse in Eastshire, Scotland. I'm so sorry if anyone is
- 36:29Speaker 7: hearing that. Who's offended by the way I just pronounced it.
- 36:31Speaker 7: He established the charity in nineteen I need to create
- 36:34Speaker 7: communities where people places in the planet can harmoniously.
- 36:39Speaker 5: Harmoniously easy for you to say, and the organization.
- 36:45Speaker 7: Is headquartered at the three hundred year old old country
- 36:49Speaker 7: Home on a two thousand acres day.
- 36:52Speaker 1: I'll tell you what if that home is three hundred
- 36:54Speaker 1: years old, I bet it didn't cost no eight point
- 36:56Speaker 1: seven million dollars when they put it up.
- 37:00Speaker 5: Nope.
- 37:01Speaker 7: The eight point seven million, single story addition to the
- 37:06Speaker 7: East Wing will be called the King's Hall and open
- 37:09Speaker 7: in summer of twenty twenty seven, catering events for up
- 37:12Speaker 7: to two hundred people.
- 37:13Speaker 1: Well, we should have a we should have a party.
- 37:15Speaker 1: We should you know what, we should have a station
- 37:18Speaker 1: Christmas party. There you know what I'm saying?
- 37:22Speaker 5: Why not? I mean it could be one of those
- 37:25Speaker 5: things too.
- 37:25Speaker 7: It's like, if you really want it, you got to
- 37:27Speaker 7: buy your own ticketing.
- 37:28Speaker 1: Well no, no, no, I'm thinking about jets. I'm thinking
- 37:32Speaker 1: about private jets to take us over.
- 37:36Speaker 5: So did you just suspiciously win the lottery?
- 37:39Speaker 1: And did I?
- 37:40Speaker 7: No?
- 37:41Speaker 1: No, I'm not paying for any of that. Are You're crazy?
- 37:45Speaker 1: Even if I won the lottery? Do you think any
- 37:47Speaker 1: of these people at this station would ever see a
- 37:49Speaker 1: penny from me?
- 37:52Speaker 10: Oh?
- 37:52Speaker 7: We probably wouldn't see you exactly.
- 37:55Speaker 1: Thank you, Thank you? Suns Like, what do you what.
- 37:59Speaker 9: Do you say?
- 38:00Speaker 5: Get the Caribbean somewhere living his best life?
- 38:03Speaker 1: What are you thinking?
- 38:05Speaker 5: I'm sorry, Okay, sorry, you.
- 38:08Speaker 1: Know it's no longer the SAG Awards the Screen Actors
- 38:11Speaker 1: Guild Awards today this year the first time, you know,
- 38:17Speaker 1: Netflix picked it up a few years ago. Now now
- 38:21Speaker 1: it's just the Actor Awards. Wow, that's catchy, isn't it. Yeah? No,
- 38:30Speaker 1: host has been announced, So hey, I'm just saying I
- 38:37Speaker 1: would do it for a price. Harrison Ford will be
- 38:40Speaker 1: presented the Lifetime Achievement Award. When you start winning those
- 38:46Speaker 1: kind of awards, you know you're getting old.
- 38:49Speaker 5: I was not age.
- 38:50Speaker 1: So one battle after another got seven nominations, sinners had
- 38:56Speaker 1: five are in a Grande scored a nomination for Wicked,
- 39:00Speaker 1: which was the only one recognized for TV. It was
- 39:09Speaker 1: the Studio. I don't know what that is. Do you

- 39:14Speaker 5: I like how you're asking me, Yeah, I know.
- 39:17Speaker 1: I know what am I thinking?
- 39:19Speaker 5: Uh?
- 39:19Speaker 1: What five nominations for the studio? For for White Lotus?
- 39:24Speaker 1: I know what White Lotus is. I've seen I think
- 39:27Speaker 1: one episode. I know people like it, but I haven't
- 39:32Speaker 1: gotten into it, so I don't know totally. Thank you.
- 39:39Speaker 5: So what is it called now?
- 39:42Speaker 1: Uh? The Actor? Yeah? The Actor Awards?
- 39:48Speaker 5: Wow? Yea creative Yeah.
- 39:51Speaker 1: So I wanted to throw this out because, speaking of

- 40:04Speaker 1: you know that Nicki Glazer is hosting again, right?
- 40:08Speaker 4: Yes?

- 40:23Speaker 1: the first thing. Yeah, they they they have a lot
- 40:28Speaker 1: of confidence in their technicians and frankly a lot of brass.
- 40:34Speaker 1: I know she did it last year.
- 40:36Speaker 7: I was about to say, I don't know if necessarily
- 40:39Speaker 7: I know she does curse, don't get me wrong, but
- 40:42Speaker 7: I don't know if cursing is really the craziest thing
- 40:44Speaker 7: she does.
- 40:44Speaker 1: Oh no, not by a long shot. Not by a
- 40:49Speaker 1: long shot. It's the crudin Yes, Well, her goal is
- 40:55Speaker 1: to keep the jokes just safe enough. She insists that
- 41:03Speaker 1: celeb's smartest move to laugh it up at the moment
- 41:10Speaker 1: the camera sees them when she's picking on them. She says,
- 41:14Speaker 1: it's a prime pr win. Now, she had lots of
- 41:21Speaker 1: Diddy jokes a year ago. I'm not I'm not sure
- 41:25Speaker 1: who will be the focus this year, you know what
- 41:29Speaker 1: I'm saying.
- 41:31Speaker 7: Yeah, I'm thinking who had like a relatively well yeah, and.
- 41:35Speaker 1: There's there's all kinds of bad years. But still, like

- 41:49Speaker 1: of did you hear what she said? And I know
- 41:52Speaker 1: that's what they're going for, right I get that.
- 41:56Speaker 5: I don't mind her. I'm okay with her.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Okay, okay.
- 42:00Speaker 5: She's good with roast, which I think is that's not
- 42:03Speaker 5: what this is.
- 42:04Speaker 1: But no, she's a great roaster.
- 42:06Speaker 7: I think it's funny whenever someone is constantly poking fun
- 42:10Speaker 7: at these celebrities.
