Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: Jacksonville Jaguar's fans, welcome in to Duval, daily presented by jing Jack.com and fuel by brass tax coffee.
- 0:05[SPEAKER_00]: Right now we are previewing Jaguars and Broncos getting it kicked off with this matchup.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguars are 1 and 0.
- 0:13[SPEAKER_00]: After a 34 to 10 victory over the Cleveland Browns, probably could have been about 50 to nothing in that game if the Jaguars didn't call off the dogs.
- 0:21[SPEAKER_00]: The Denver Broncos are coming off of a brutal.
- 0:26[SPEAKER_00]: brutal defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs in which Kenneth Walker ran all over them.
- 0:32[SPEAKER_00]: So the Jaguars are one and all of the Broncos are O-N-1.
- 0:35[SPEAKER_00]: This is in Denver 405 P.M.
- 0:37[SPEAKER_00]: Kick.
- 0:38[SPEAKER_00]: Denver has historically been a very difficult place for opponents to play, not only in general, but also especially in September, but the last 10 years or so hasn't been quite as difficult.
- 0:49[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos home record in September has not been as impressive as it was prior.
- 0:55[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the Jaguars, they beat the Broncos in Denver last December, the all-time series is tied 8 to 8, including two playoff matchups in the 90s.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Payton, after that 34 to 20 lost to the Jaguars in December last year, in front of a home crowd for the Broncos, they're going to be out for revenge.
- 1:15[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be out to kind of put that nasty taste out of their mouth.
- 1:19[SPEAKER_00]: And, you know, beyond that, they were going to be motivated for this game because of what happened last year.
- 1:24[SPEAKER_00]: Now you also add to the fact that they're trying to avoid O and 2, that they were embarrassed last week against the Kansas City Chiefs.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, the Broncos are going to be ready for this game, but they are coming off of a short week.
- 1:36[SPEAKER_00]: They were the, you know, the Broncos and Chiefs, the only Monday night game this week.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 1:43[SPEAKER_00]: a little bit of a short week for the Broncos, but the Jaguars, they have to travel to Denver and obviously they had to watch the Broncos game tape a little bit later than they would normally be watching the game tape, but they do have familiarity with this opponent.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: They have obviously game tape to draw on last year.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos are certainly going to try to switch things up.
- 2:04[SPEAKER_00]: Jaguars though, they've won nine straight regular season games.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: Are they gonna get that streak to 10?
- 2:09[SPEAKER_00]: 10 in a row.
- 2:10[SPEAKER_00]: We'll find out this Sunday again, 405 p.m. kick.
- 2:13[SPEAKER_00]: We are gonna get into this matchup, but I really appreciate y'all tuning in.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content, please like and subscribe, you can also hit that hype button.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_00]: So the Broncos do have a familiar face in Evan Ingraham who the Jaguars also saw last year, but Evan Ingraham, when he was here in Jacksonville, consummate professional, great leader,
- 2:32[SPEAKER_00]: and incredibly productive in terms of catches, some of the biggest catch seasons we've ever seen here in Jacksonville in terms of production, but obviously wish him well, most weeks, good guy.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: not this week.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: Not this week.
- 2:48[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is going to be trying to shut Evan Ingram in the rest of the Broncos passing attack down.
- 2:53[SPEAKER_00]: As far as changes for these two sides, not a whole lot has changed since their last meeting.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos starting line-up looks virtually identical outside of the fact that they did add a major receiving weapon.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_00]: in jail and water, the Jag wars they get back Travis Hunter who wasn't available in this matchup last time, they lost Travis CTN and Devon Lloyd to free agency, they add a rookie starting offensive lineman that has played two and offensive linux, excuse me, that has played musical chairs, right?
- 3:25[SPEAKER_00]: So there's been some moving parts, but not a whole lot.
- 3:28[SPEAKER_00]: It feels like a very similar matchup other than the fact that
- 3:32[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos go and add what they view as a true wide receiver one while the Broncos are jaguars get back a true cornerback one and Travis Hunter how often will they be matched up against each other that will be certainly very interesting.
- 3:48[SPEAKER_00]: When it comes to the losses of E.T.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: and Lloyd the jaguars as I expected replaced them without skipping a beat.
- 3:55[SPEAKER_00]: I mean,
- 3:58[SPEAKER_00]: first game as the Jaguar starter in 2026 against the Cleveland Browns.
- 4:04[SPEAKER_00]: He was among the league leaders in Miss Tackles forced.
- 4:07[SPEAKER_00]: He had 66 yards rushing.
- 4:10[SPEAKER_00]: He had 67 yards after contact.
- 4:12[SPEAKER_00]: So you would like.
- 4:14[SPEAKER_00]: And I'll honestly, for the rushing arts to be a good bit more than your arts after contact because you don't want him getting contacted before the line of scrimmage.
- 4:23[SPEAKER_00]: But I think the Jaguar's overall did a good job in the run game last week.
- 4:26[SPEAKER_00]: I think Basel Tutan looked incredible.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: He's gonna try to replicate some of what you saw from Kenneth Walker and the Chiefs against the Broncos last week when it comes to replacing Devin Lloyd Ventrell Miller had himself a day.
- 4:39[SPEAKER_00]: Led the team in tackles, had a punchout, had a sack was all over the place.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Um, and the rookie starting offensive lineman, Emmanuel Pregnant, he looks like an absolute beast at guard for the Jaguars.
- 4:51[SPEAKER_00]: So Anton Harrison is now at left tackle where Colvin Lannan was last year, Colvin Lannan at right tackle where Anton Harrison was last year, Emmanuel Pregnant at left guard where Ezra Cleveland was last year, Ezra Cleveland at right guard where there was kind of just a constant churn in the lineup with injuries and other things going on there.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: In 2025 feels like they've got that offensive line group locked in pretty interesting there, but
- 5:20[SPEAKER_00]: This is a Broncos defense that will challenge the Jaguars in different ways than the Browns.
- 5:27[SPEAKER_00]: And the Jaguars shouldn't be unprepared for it, right?
- 5:30[SPEAKER_00]: They've known they were playing the Broncos in a week to all off season.
- 5:33[SPEAKER_00]: They played them in December of last year.
- 5:36[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos still have Vance Joseph as their defensive coordinator and defensive play color.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: They still have mostly, mostly, the same lineup.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: We'll get to a few changes that they have upfront.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: But the Broncos will play some more man defense in the Brown did last week, and they will blitz from the second and third level with very capable players.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: Singleton, their linebacker is a very good blitzer.
- 6:00[SPEAKER_00]: Telling out who Fonga is a very good blitzer.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_00]: It is difficult to know exactly who is blitzing on a given play, who is actually rushing the passer.
- 6:09[SPEAKER_00]: That's one way that the Broncos really test your offensive line rules, your offensive line communication.
- 6:16[SPEAKER_00]: and your game prep, right?
- 6:18[SPEAKER_00]: That is that is one way they really stress their opponents.
- 6:22[SPEAKER_00]: But they also boast just a potent group of passengers, even without the blitzing, like, you know, even without John Franklin Myers, who moved on to Tennessee, Jonathan Cooper, who's on the
- 6:33[SPEAKER_00]: Nick Benito, who is one of the most explosive and quick get off-type players in the NFL as a past Russia, Zach Allen, who's one of the better penetrating three-tech players, Jonah Ellis and several other players who are capable, including Q Robinson, who actually gave
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is a little bit of trouble last time these two teams played and yes, Pat Sertan still one of the very best in the business.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_00]: We talked about Denza award.
- 7:04[SPEAKER_00]: He's probably a top 10 corner of the Jaguar space last week.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: Well, Pat Sertan's probably a top two or three corner in the NFL.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_00]: But the good news for the Jaguars is Sertan is not likely to follow Parker Washington around the yard.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: That's not really his MO.
- 7:19[SPEAKER_00]: Parker Washington has a player, the Jaguards can literally move all over the formation.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: Washington rose to the Broncos defense last year to the tomb of 145 yards and a touchdown.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: And in Parker Washington's last five games, he has averaged 108 receiving yards and has scored in four out of those five games.
- 7:40[SPEAKER_00]: I will certainly be keeping an eye on Parker Washington in this one.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_00]: But against teams like the Jaguars has a tendency to struggle, he has surrendered a ton of yards and penalties in the last couple of seasons.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars will likely look to target Riley Moss and the Denver Broncos linebackers in coverage dictate matchups create in that way, right?
- 8:08[SPEAKER_00]: The Broncos defense, I mentioned, they were shredded on the ground last week by the chiefs Kenneth Walker and Vatial Tutan possess a lot of similarities.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: Run blocking.
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: That offensive line.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: They need to get the job done along with the tight ends, Nate Borgerture, Quentin Morris, Britain Strange, to create as much space as possible for Bacial Tutan, Chris Rodriguez, and the rest of the Jaguars running game.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: As I mentioned.
- 8:34[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguars put up 34 points on this group last year, and they only seem to have improved since then.
- 8:41[SPEAKER_00]: But the Jaguars are two and a half-point road underdogs against the Broncos, and you know I like that one over at my book, I'm absolutely taking the Jaguars, I mentioned they've won nine straight regular season games by an average score of 33.6 to 14.
- 8:57[SPEAKER_00]: My bookies website, very easy to use on desktop or mobile, they've got all the NFL action you could ever want, plus a whole lot more.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_00]: Another thing I really love about my bookie or award your action with weekly cash back.
- 9:08[SPEAKER_00]: I also love taking a look at the Jaguar as when total over under, it's at nine and a half.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_00]: That's an easy pick for me.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you knew you used my promo code dovol to claim your first bet risk free up to $500.

- 9:36[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: on the other side of the ball.
- 9:40[SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar is most a pretty darn good defense to themselves, Anthony Campanile has been putting opposing quarterbacks in an absolute blender as of late, and the Broncos offense has a new playcallour Davis web, an uninspiring first outing to say the very least.
- 9:57[SPEAKER_00]: It's like when is Sean Peyton going to have to take back the reins,
- 10:00[SPEAKER_00]: will he take back the reins?
- 10:02[SPEAKER_00]: We've seen this story in Jacksonville before with Doug Peterson and Press Taylor.
- 10:07[SPEAKER_00]: It did not go well for either of them, although Press Taylor is now an offensive coordinator for one of the most potent offenses in football, with Ben Johnson and Chicago Bears, but that did not in well in Jacksonville.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_00]: How is this going to play out for the Broncos remains to be
- 10:30[SPEAKER_00]: making a huge move to acquire him, right?
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to try to change that this week.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_00]: They're absolutely going to try to get J-Loan water the football early and often that is something to keep an eye on.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now the Jaguars had perhaps the best pass rush in football last week, statistically they were right up there at the very top of the league.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_00]: But the Broncos have one of the best better, better excuse me, pass protection offensive lines in football across the board.
- 11:01[SPEAKER_00]: And they also have some running game skills, well, with JK Dobbins and company.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_00]: Now, RJ Harvey did not practice Wednesday with a hamstring injury.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_00]: Broncos kind of receiving back a dangerous offensive weapon for the Broncos.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_00]: He did not practice Wednesday with a hamstring.
- 11:19[SPEAKER_00]: And he will be a player to monitor throughout the week on the injury front for sure.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: Both teams, I would say, have excellent coaching,
- 11:28[SPEAKER_00]: Game-changing playmakers on both sides of the ball who will step up to make it happen for their team.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to find out Sunday at 405 p.m. Of course, one thing to keep an eye on for the Jaguars is how is that special team's kick coverage performing.
- 11:43[SPEAKER_00]: It was a bismal last week.
- 11:45[SPEAKER_00]: It had its issues during the preseason.
- 11:48[SPEAKER_00]: Can heat far while who is one of the better special team's coordinators in football.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: get that thing on track.
- 11:54[SPEAKER_00]: That's going to be a major storyline to watch not only in this game, but moving forward for the Jaguars, and then you also have the fact that in Mile High where the Broncos play.
- 12:05[SPEAKER_00]: You have the potential with the altitude to kick from further than you normally would.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: Can Cam Little set a new NFL record if the Jaguars are in position,
- 12:16[SPEAKER_00]: at the end of the first half.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_00]: That will be something I'm keeping on as well.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: And of course, Logan Cook booming with the punts.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: Who's going to get it done?
- 12:25[SPEAKER_00]: We'll find out again.
- 12:27[SPEAKER_00]: 405 pm Sunday cannot wait for it.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: Really appreciate y'all turning it in support in the channel.
- 12:31[SPEAKER_00]: If you enjoy the content here, please like and subscribe.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_00]: You can also hit that high button.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all have a great one.
