  I love what you do. And so I'm like, in admiration

  here, wanting to learn more about you as well, but I guess
• 1:26
  we can talk about me. Well, we won't turn the tables
• 1:32
  just yet here. Oh I love it.

  Okay, so before we dive into your message and your story, I
• 1:41
  always love to start off with what is your favorite scripture
• 1:45
  verse and why I actually have it opened in front of me so I could
• 1:50
  read it to you. Yeah, perfect.
• 1:52
  So my favorite scripture right now currently, you know, in each
• 1:57
  season, it kind of changes but This is one that's been for a
• 2:02
  few, several months now. It's 2nd Corinthians, 9, and 8.
• 2:07
  And God is able to make all grace abound toward you that you
• 2:09
  always have all sufficiency in all things may have an abundance
• 2:14
  for every good work that you do. So especially speaks to me for
• 2:20
  her promise Circle because obviously our mission and
• 2:25
  business is to better and help improve and help.
• 2:30
  Put in place things for women to focus on their Wellness.
• 2:32
  Overall not just physically mentally Normally some places
• 2:37
  are physically and mental, but we cover spiritually as well.
• 2:40
  And so, we need all of that and to do all that you need
• 2:43
  resources. And, you know, you need things.
• 2:47
  I mean that's how it works. And so this verse is always
• 2:50
  like, well, it's a good work and so God Will Supply our needs and
• 2:55
  he has thus far. So yeah, such a good god and I
• 3:01
  love what you're doing, you're helping woman find the thing
• 3:05
  that Were created for and become the healthiest version of
• 3:11
  themselves to pursue it. And it takes me back years ago.
• 3:16
  I used to teach workout classes and yeah, and women would come
• 3:22
  up to me and they're like, oh Jamie, you know, what do you
• 3:25
  think about eating this or what do you think about doing this
• 3:29
  workout and incorporating this into my diet?
• 3:34
  And you know why? I can't, I have this way stand.
• 3:39
  Why aren't you? Yeah.
• 3:41
  Why aren't my thighs like this? And the best thing because
• 3:45
  somebody told me this one day is to be the best version of
• 3:51
  yourself because we were not created all like equal were all
• 3:57
  created unique in God's image. So you know, our bodies are
• 4:04
  different shapes and We have different dispositions and so
• 4:09
  and not every nutrition is going to make us maintain or lose
• 4:15
  weight or gain weight even. So it's just so tailor-made and
• 4:21
  that's when you basically I mean not to get into all the
• 4:25
  nutrition working out but you have to be the Sherlock Holmes
• 4:28
  of your own body but I think the best like advice is to say
• 4:35
  whether it is Is emotional spiritual or physical to be the
• 4:40
  best version of yourself. So I love that.
• 4:44
  I read that in your description and your tagline.
• 4:48
  That that's how you help women. So I would love for you to start
• 4:52
  us out with what made you start promise Circle Community.

  Let's hear your story. Let's hear the story.

  Okay. All right game, that's not from
• 5:04
  the beginning. Yeah.
• 5:06
  Um so I'm a PK. I grew up like as a PK.
• 5:09
  So like my grandma was a pastor and my mother was heading
• 5:14
  towards getting ordained. And so, you know, it's always
• 5:16
  been in me. However, when my grandmother
• 5:20
  passed away from cancer, when I was like 19, I was ill-prepared
• 5:25
  because as a kid, it's like, well, if you ask God for things
• 5:29
  and you're not sinning, then he hears you and he will do, you
• 5:33
  know what you ask? And so, So, I even didn't visit
• 5:37
  her much as I should have in the hospital because I'm like, well,
• 5:41
  she's gonna come home. Like it's fine, right?
• 5:44
  And she passed. While I was away at College my
• 5:47
  first year of college and so from then on my relationship
• 5:51
  with God has been Rocky to say the least.
• 5:56
  Yeah. It was like my first big
• 5:58
  disappointment in life. Sure.
• 6:01
  And it was caused by the God that I was told is so good.
• 6:05
  Good. And, and so great and can do
• 6:10
  what we ask, you know, beyond what we think and imagine and
• 6:13
  like in such a big way. I was disappointed.
• 6:19
  That's right. That's the way to put it and I
• 6:24
  grew up without a father. So that was my two-parent
• 6:27
  household. So it was my grandma and my mom.
• 6:30
  And so now not only is my like Foundation of Faith broken, my
• 6:35
  relationship and structure at home was shaken.
• 6:40
  And so, I never really learned how to have a relationship with
• 6:45
  him now. I still believed in him, nothing
• 6:47
  was going to talk me out of that but when it came to spending
• 6:50
  time with him and like worshipping all that count me
• 6:54
  out. All right, I'm gonna go out with
• 6:56
  my friends, I'm going to do anything that can.
• 6:57
  Um, this pain that I've had for however long because I mean,
• 7:02
  you're 18, 19, are you really self reflecting?
• 7:05
  Maria. I'm trying to tune, um, this
• 7:10
  terrible emotion. I'm feeling and I don't really
• 7:12
  know where it's coming from and so it projected, It into my
• 7:16
  relationships. Needless to say, I was looking
• 7:19
  for God in men and I'm like, well if I could just get
• 7:23
  married, I think I'll be fine. Honestly, if someone could just
• 7:25
  love me little love this way, I think I'll be okay.
• 7:28
  And so it was a series of toxic relationships, abusive
• 7:33
  relationships in emotional, and sometimes physical, not like I
• 7:37
  was beat or anything but like it was just toxic I found it.
• 7:43
  It was not until I was about 29. I got into a relationship and it
• 7:49
  was like, I was happy and I was like, wow, this is it finally?
• 7:53
  Thanks Lord, you know, and like it wasn't and so when the person
• 7:59
  left, I was literally on my bathroom floor, like exhausted
• 8:05
  and not just not physically, exhausted at all, mentally,
• 8:09
  emotionally and spiritually spent Ain't trying to give what
• 8:14
  God wanted from me to other people, right?
• 8:19
  And I remember just like laying there and I'm like, I know you
• 8:23
  are what I've been looking for. Like I know it's you I know it
• 8:30
  is but I don't know how to come back to you.
• 8:33
  I don't know where to start. Hmm here I am, do your thing
• 8:37
  because if you don't do something I'm ready to like I'm
• 8:40
  already get to go this life thing.
• 8:43
  I'm good. I don't want to do it.
• 8:45
  I can't live it like this. So if you don't do something
• 8:47
  please please come on. Yeah throw me a Lifeline God and
• 8:56
  I from that point on just I felt his presence for the first time
• 9:01
  in a long time like a rest of his presence.
• 9:05
  I was familiar with it. I grew up in church but I felt
• 9:09
  it and was like I don't want to leave here anymore.
• 9:13
  Hmm. And so I call that recommitting
• 9:16
  my life to God in that moment. Yeah.
• 9:19
  And so from then on, I went on like this fast binge and I
• 9:23
  fasted like every other week for like like months and just like
• 9:26
  took out the secular music because you don't realize how it
• 9:29
  programs you to see. Learn.
• 9:31
  No one's ever taught me love. So that's what love was to me.
• 9:34
  What I heard, I started listening to sermons, I had to
• 9:39
  go and buy a Bible. Jame I didn't even have a Bible.
• 9:42
  I didn't have an interest in buying a Bible riding in it
• 9:44
  journaling. None of that until that like
• 9:47
  time of my life. And so that's the backstory of
• 9:51
  what led me to actually listening.
• 9:54
  Hmm. To him and starting to trust him
• 9:58
  again. We're still we're still getting
• 10:00
  there but I'm learning to trust him and and know that there's
• 10:06
  always a reason for everything and that he still has everything
• 10:09
  working out for my good. Hmm.
• 10:11
  And so I actually went to the woman evolve contrary
• 10:15
  conference, which is by Sara Jake's Roberts.
• 10:19
  Oh, I love her. I'm obsessed with sjr.
• 10:22
  Let's go shoes. Hearted, we will talk about
• 10:25
  About her the whole liar. She is amazing.
• 10:29
  That was my first like it but it was virtual.
• 10:32
  It was 2020. No, I'm also a respiratory
• 10:35
  therapist. I work in critical care.
• 10:36
  Emergency medicine. Wow.
• 10:39
  And so I was going to work coming home, binging sermons,
• 10:43
  reading my word going to work because at that time we're
• 10:46
  experiencing loss at such a pro account number.
• 10:51
  Yeah. Why my emotional Banks were just
• 10:55
  Depleted during covid, right? Yeah, yeah.
• 10:59
  Wow. Right.
• 11:00
  In the midst of 2020 is what? I'm getting my life back to God
• 11:05
  and I'm like, stuck in the house.
• 11:07
  So it's like, I'm going to work. I'm getting all this and you're
• 11:10
  not just seeing the patient's because I'm a refrigerator
• 11:12
  because we pull the plug. So that's like my job.
• 11:15
  But um we also are seeing the families and hearing the
• 11:20
  families and you know, having to take tablets in and have them,
• 11:24
  say goodbye that way. Because they weren't allowed in
• 11:26
  the hospital. Yeah.
• 11:27
  Well if you have a heart for people, that's right.
• 11:30
  We're all having breakdowns left and right try that.
• 11:33
  Yeah. And so I'm like, alright.
• 11:36
  God. I need replenished emotionally.
• 11:38
  I felt like the woman at the well, um, where he's like, if
• 11:42
  you first, I can give you something.
• 11:45
  You'll never thirst for, he's like, I need some of that.
• 11:47
  Some of the yeah. Yeah, right that?
• 11:49
  Well yeah. And the first thing he showed me
• 11:52
  was like community and people. And I was like, okay, you know,
• 11:58
  I'll, I'll do like a Bible study maybe with like my friends.
• 12:01
  Okay. Which of my friends even know?
• 12:02
  God, I don't know. That was never a requirement
• 12:04
  for, right? Oh, I had to literally start
• 12:07
  over, you know. And so I was like, all right,
• 12:10
  I'll do a Bible study. So it's me and like, three or
• 12:14
  four girls that I know meeting every Thursday and I'm just
• 12:17
  doing, you know, a Bible study eventually it spiraled into like
• 12:22
  me writing up study guides because they were like, hey,
• 12:24
  what did you do? Last we come on.
• 12:25
  Oh yeah, okay. So I started writing up study
• 12:27
  guides and I would put them on my Instagram that I made for the
• 12:31
  for the Bible study group. It started as an Instagram page
• 12:34
  and a Bible study group where I was like, okay it's just me and
• 12:37
  a couple girls and like an Instagram page where they can
• 12:40
  like see the revelations that we get cool.
• 12:42
  Yeah this is great, I need Community, I get it over time.
• 12:48
  He was like yeah, I need you to like share this on Tick Tock and
• 12:52
  I'm like I don't think that's God.
• 12:56
  I don't think, I don't think that's God.
• 12:58
  Why would he tell me? He's like, yeah, it's me.
• 13:00
  So yeah, go ahead. Yeah, and so I started sharing,
• 13:05
  but I also started like not losing people but they got
• 13:08
  busier and busier. And so some days, no one would
• 13:11
  come. That's why would reschedule.
• 13:14
  And one day he was like, I need you to just record them so that
• 13:18
  they have them when they miss them and I'm like, alright.
• 13:21
  So I'm speaking to ask In about recording, a Bible study for the
• 13:27
  girls that this and eventually I needed a space to put the stuff,
• 13:31
  because it became content. Sure.
• 13:34
  Because now I'm racking up. Recordings non-residents.
• 13:36
  Are you guys like? And I'm like, all right, let me
• 13:38
  just put this on my website, you know.
• 13:39
  Yeah, God's downloading on you. You're like wider old.
• 13:43
  Ah, that's awesome. I need a place for this.
• 13:46
  Yeah, so I came up with the name.
• 13:49
  I bought the website and started putting that on there.
• 13:53
  And next thing, you know, I'm posting it on Tick.
• 13:57
  Tock I have, you know, 150 girls sign up on the email list and so
• 14:02
  now then 25 to 30 girls come every Thursday now, so it's like
• 14:07
  okay, um, awesome from then, on I kept getting downloads, we
• 14:12
  have an Outreach team. Now, I have a health and
• 14:16
  wellness coaching Master certificate and so I do health
• 14:19
  and wellness coaching as well to go along with my love for Health
• 14:22
  and Wellness. So we have all types of coaching
• 14:25
  because now I have branches and a team and so we business
• 14:27
  coaching business, etiquette coaching, Fitness accountability
• 14:30
  Partners. We have a Blog.
• 14:34
  I have the blog where I share some of my Revelations I have
• 14:37
  been have a social media coordinator and marketing
• 14:41
  manager. So she helps women who want to
• 14:42
  build their own faith based platforms.
• 14:45
  And then I also do faith-based life coaching, which is great to
• 14:49
  have, whenever you're like, I want a life coach but one that
• 14:51
  understands the Holy Spirit and Talking about my spiritual burn
• 14:55
  out too right? Yes.
• 14:57
  I started offering that and so it turned into this thing in
• 15:02
  over the span of like a year. Yeah.
• 15:05
  Yeah. Yeah.
• 15:06
  Now I'm just like, hey, I'm the founder and CEO of her promise.
• 15:10
  They're gone. Yeah, I didn't know.
• 15:13
  That's where we were going with this.
• 15:15
  I just wanted to have women to share god with.
• 15:19
  Right. That's okay.
• 15:21
  That's the butyl. awful the most beautiful part about all of this
• 15:26
  is, you are displaying exactly that organic growth because
• 15:33
  whenever we are faithful with what God puts in front of us,
• 15:37
  like and and it's the Small Things usually like you were
• 15:42
  just saying you're starting out, people weren't showing up so
• 15:46
  Gods like okay and that's not on you it was on them and so God's
• 15:51
  like okay well let's Write a solve that issue by recording
• 15:57
  who he is and his love and kindness or whatever topic that
• 16:03
  you are speaking on. And I just love how the Lord
• 16:06
  speaks to you and speaks to us. Those that are listening.
• 16:12
  And it's the ones that are obedient like he sees he goes
• 16:18
  and looks throughout the ones that that he knows, will you?
• 16:23
  Yield to him. And so therefore he's doing this
• 16:28
  in you and then he's the one that's growing this huge
• 16:32
  community. That goes beyond your
• 16:35
  imagination. Yeah and I just love it because
• 16:40
  you start out just being obedient with what he put in
• 16:43
  front of you. Yes.
• 16:45
  Okay, so in like, your daily circumstances, how do you see
• 16:52
  God? Not working in your life when
• 16:55
  you're going through struggles. What have a listener is going
• 16:59
  through something. What would you encourage them
• 17:01
  on? I'm very transparent.
• 17:03
  I only have what I go through currently to talk about.
• 17:06
  And like I told you about my struggles in the past, some sort
• 17:11
  of traumas that I've been through relationally.
• 17:13
  That's where the enemy is, attacked me the most, it's
• 17:16
  relationally. And so, it's like, I always held
• 17:20
  God, separately to me, It's like, okay, I go to God in the
• 17:24
  morning, I spend my time with them and then it's like, all
• 17:26
  right, if I want to go back to God, I got to like, create the
• 17:29
  space where, where he's there and I can talk to him and he's
• 17:32
  listening and it wasn't until I learn like actually understood
• 17:37
  because we have knowledge, right?
• 17:39
  You gain knowledge and wisdom but like you apply it when you
• 17:42
  understand it. Yeah.
• 17:43
  And lately, he's been showing me like your problems that you have
• 17:48
  relationally are bleeding into our relationship.
• 17:51
  And so I have this Fear vulnerability, fear of intimacy,
• 17:57
  fear of Abandonment, fear of disappointment, and obviously we
• 18:02
  know without faith. You cannot please God.
• 18:04
  And so, if you don't trust him, you can't put your faith in him,
• 18:07
  right? And it's, it's beautiful.
• 18:10
  How God is teaching me how to love him and receive his love,
• 18:16
  because, obviously, praying for a husband, keep me in your
• 18:19
  prayers and playing for like a family and I understand And that
• 18:23
  that has been generationally passed down as well.
• 18:28
  It's not just me. I've never really seen any
• 18:30
  healthy relationships. I have nine, aunts and uncles,
• 18:32
  they're all like divorced or have been through it.
• 18:36
  That's speaking against them, it's just true.
• 18:38
  It's just, I haven't grown up seeing that family unit, that's
• 18:42
  based in Christ. I haven't seen it and I haven't
• 18:45
  seen something. How do you learn it?
• 18:48
  You know, I did. Yeah, it explains your example,
• 18:51
  right? I don't even know that this
• 18:54
  thing is real and so I'm believing you for something that
• 18:57
  I've never even experienced or seen.
• 18:59
  Mmm. And so I would tell people
• 19:04
  remember Mary and Martha whenever he came and Martha is
• 19:08
  like busy with all the things she had to do.
• 19:10
  And I think us as Christians we get busy with, okay, I need to
• 19:13
  read my word. I need to read five chapters, I
• 19:15
  need to journal. I need to worship so God's here
• 19:18
  and then I need to be good to everybody.
• 19:20
  And I need to not say no because you know, I'm trying to please
• 19:22
  and love and And trying to show that I'm a Christian.
• 19:24
  Even when you're hospitable like you have to make sure it doesn't
• 19:27
  leak into people-pleasing. Because her, you could be the
• 19:31
  most giving person people know, but your heart cannot be right.
• 19:35
  Your heartbeat intended on trying to have you show other
• 19:39
  people how great you are at serving and so I don't know a
• 19:43
  real reality check and it's like, I mean, it's true and then
• 19:49
  it's just like when God humbles you to a place where you can
• 19:52
  admit it. He can show you.
• 19:54
  Yeah. And so what I would say is
• 19:58
  seeing him in my everyday. Life has come from basically me
• 20:02
  and him going to counseling like therapy like okay, what's the
• 20:05
  problem in our relationship? So I can be close to you all
• 20:08
  day. Instead of thinking, I have to
• 20:10
  do all these things to be close to you.
• 20:12
  Yeah. Mary just laid out his feet.
• 20:15
  Mmm. And he's like she will never
• 20:16
  lose this. Like, M&M's got this for lying?
• 20:19
  Yeah, and he's leading me into from Martha to marry.
• 20:23
  My mom very intentionally and I think it's beautiful because
• 20:26
  like I said, I'm praying for a mayor just like he's showing me
• 20:29
  how to love and be loved so that I don't get it before I'm ready
• 20:32
  for it and I can keep it, you know?
• 20:34
  And so I'm actually writing a I have an e-book on this on.
• 20:38
  Um, I totally forgot to tell you that it's called, get ready and
• 20:42
  it's like the blessing in the weight.
• 20:45
  So just the beauty of it, because you can get, so tied up
• 20:49
  in, like being impatient and trying to have it and, yeah, I
• 20:52
  see that his Love is also in withholding.
• 20:55
  Hmm, not just in giving me things that I'm not ready for
• 20:58
  its with holding it till I'm ready so I can enjoy it.

  Yeah so good. Oh I love that and I can totally
• 21:07
  relate to being a doer at horror.
• 21:09
  I'm just a doer and so many times God has spoken to me,
• 21:14
  don't just be doing. I just want to be with you just
• 21:17
  be with you and so it's that do word that like changes into.
• 21:23
  To a B&B e word and I'm like yes Lord.
• 21:28
  And so I get convicted. I'm like, okay I'm I'm being
• 21:32
  with you. I don't I have to back myself up
• 21:35
  a little bit and go. Okay.
• 21:37
  Jamie like slow down, be still with the Lord and you know,
• 21:42
  because we get this fulfillment when we're doing things for the
• 21:46
  Lord. But that's not what it's all
• 21:48
  about. And when we're, I'm balanced or
• 21:52
  were tending to You do that more than be with the Lord.
• 21:56
  Then, you know, he's so tenderly tells you just rest in me, just
• 22:01
  wait in my, in my presence. I just want to be with you
• 22:05
  communicate with you and it's just so neat.
• 22:09
  How he corrects, you know, for our good and, for the best in
• 22:15
  our life. Yeah, mmm.
• 22:17
  I love that and I can, you know, relate to, to not having that
• 22:21
  personal relationship. When I was Younger and being a
• 22:25
  Christian knew who God was but never cultivated that personal
• 22:30
  relationship and you know, everyone's got their, you know,
• 22:34
  bathroom floor moment whether just like God help me, you know?
• 22:39
  And that was what happened to me.
• 22:42
  And and I shouldn't say, you know, everyone has like this
• 22:48
  horrible, you know, story but a lot of Us have that bathroom
• 22:55
  floor moment and so I love that every single time I speak to
• 23:01
  women and even in my own life, he's met me there, he's his
• 23:05
  presence. Like you said, it was just this
• 23:08
  instant presence of who he is and you didn't want to get out
• 23:12
  of that presence, you just want to stay in it.
• 23:15
  And it was, I'm sure so comforting and peace and
• 23:19
  something you've never experienced before.
• 23:22
  And that's What he does. And so he comes and rescues us.
• 23:26
  He's our refuge and I love that he did that in your life and he
• 23:31
  does that in all of our Lives. Those who want him to be our
• 23:37
  rescuer so so good. Okay.
• 23:40
  So I wanted to move on to some of the steps that you encourage
• 23:45
  other women and finding their meaning and their purpose
• 23:50
  through faith. Because, you know, there's this
• 23:52
  whole With purpose calling assignment Destiny.
• 23:56
  I mean everyone's like and everyone just gets a little bit
• 23:59
  confused and and so for me I look at purpose as glorifying
• 24:05
  God and serving others. Like my purpose is to love God
• 24:10
  with all my heart might and strength, right?
• 24:12
  And glorify him and doing that by serving others and then my
• 24:18
  calling would be how do I do? What's the vehicle that?
• 24:23
  At. I mean, I do that through
• 24:24
  podcasting. I do that through my parenting.
• 24:27
  I do that through, you know, so but everyone's got their own
• 24:31
  definition and not to bash anybody who thinks of it any
• 24:36
  differently. But what do you teach in your
• 24:40
  circle specifically in finding purpose I harp on first of all
• 24:47
  being in relationship because most people think about it when
• 24:51
  you come to God, It's just like any other relationship because
• 24:56
  you know, you get excited. Get the honeymoon phase.
• 24:58
  You want to do? Oh, I'm let's yeah, that that
• 25:01
  church group and let's do that and let's be in small group and
• 25:04
  like you get, you get excited and in that excitement, which
• 25:08
  you may miss is the thing that you actually think is exciting.
• 25:12
  In the time, just like how a relationship goes from
• 25:14
  honeymoon, phase to 0, this is the real, hmm.
• 25:16
  If it's not for you, it's not gonna give you the Breakthrough
• 25:20
  that you're wanting or needing. And so, So if you forget that,
• 25:25
  at the end of the day, God wants to be intimate with you, and
• 25:30
  can't show you because if you're not listening, if you're focused
• 25:33
  on all the things that you're able to do because just cause
• 25:37
  you're able to do something doesn't mean it's for you.
• 25:41
  And so developing that discernment comes from
• 25:43
  surrendering to his will because if you are in your own will and
• 25:47
  you want to do this, this this and this you will, there's no
• 25:50
  template, there's no restriction.

  You could be acting in your own will and not even know it

  Yeah a lot of us get get tied up because like you're doing good

  things oath. Everything for me that's of God

  is going to be good and leave me to him and it is and I'm doing

  it I'm doing and it's like all right right until God makes you

  slow down whether that's you. Getting burnt out somewhere.

  That's you getting to the point where you're like God where are

  you? I don't hear you.

  He gets quiet to bring you back to him but if you stay with them

  he will not have to do that as much.

  Um, and so in finding him, you find that thing, I think, as

  soon as I soon as you I think it's always in you because he

  puts it in us right before the client.

  Finally, before I formed you, I knew you and Jeremiah and so he

  Planted everything you would need.

  And so, you kind of have an idea probably of the things that
• 26:57
  excite you already. For example, I tried to do this

  when I was like 25, I tried to like, have a like something like
• 27:04
  this. And it didn't even like do
• 27:06
  anything her promise or go. Let's do it.

  And that's because I was doing without purpose.

  Hmm, really was without a vision, a Clear Vision of what
• 27:14
  he wanted for me and so it's always in you.

  The thing that you could do without being paid thing that
• 27:21
  excites you, The thing that you don't get tired of doing.

  Hmm, there's a verse I wish I could quote it off the top of my
• 27:33
  head. It's so good.

  But it basically is he said summarize it right there is a
• 27:38
  there is a rest for Christians to still enter but it's
• 27:43
  basically saying that when we're working we are resting or
• 27:48
  working in him. We're actually resting in our
• 27:50
  spirit and so you don't get burned out when you're working

  in purpose. Yes.

  And so when you find that thing, you're working in that you don't
• 27:59
  get tired of Natural of fully that's part that's when you find
• 28:04
  purpose and Faith because it's going to be bigger than you.

  For example, I'm like all right, Lord, a little bible study.

  It's like knots going to reach lots of people and I'm like,
• 28:13
  okay, I didn't plan on that. But all right.

  Yeah, these are the god of increase exactly everything he
• 28:20
  touches multiplies. And it's like, well, I, he gave
• 28:23
  me what I was ready for. Hmm.
• 28:26
  Yeah, as you focus on him, he expands you and your faith and
• 28:29
  therefore, you can believe. Leave for bigger things.
• 28:32
  And so I say that to say, I think I keep saying
• 28:35
  relationship, but I'm just realizing how important it
• 28:37
  really is and just focusing on him will lead you to purpose.

  Because he's a god of purpose, he created us for a purpose,
• 28:46
  created us forward intent. Like I just said and he made
• 28:49
  Jeremiah before I formed you in the womb, I knew you knew him
• 28:52
  already, what he would be doing from the beginning to the end.

  And so, if you learn to have relationship with God and be
• 28:59
  surrendered to As well. That's the second thing, right?

  And you will absolutely no. And here and get step by steps.

  Mmm, Yeah, I love that. It takes me back to the time

  where I was tired of being tired.

  I was tired of being a lukewarm Christian.

  I think being that lukewarm Christian is exhausting and I

  knew it, I knew I was trying to fit God into my lifestyle

  instead of the other way around. Round and that's really just

  doing what you want to do and then just inviting God in when
• 29:36
  it's convenient and we all know that I was not living according
• 29:42
  to God's will. You know, we up the, the book,
• 29:45
  The Bible to, to glean on to know, what is his will for our
• 29:52
  lives and when you're doing things your own way, then you
• 29:58
  know, you're looking at your own You all you're not looking at
• 30:02
  God's instruction manual which is the word.

  So I love it when you know, you just realize that you're not
• 30:12
  living the way you should, because we all know.
• 30:16
  There's so many dead ends to that lifestyle, and you will get
• 30:21
  burnt out, and you'll hit that dead end sign, and you'll just
• 30:25
  go. Okay, I'm tired of doing it my
• 30:29
  way. Let's try.

  God's way and I think there's half of us that do that and then
• 30:35
  the other half that maybe God bless you.

  If you grew up just automatically knowing God's ways
• 30:41
  the best way. Yes.

  But I know there's the other half that did not and so we
• 30:50
  realized that you know God has that best plan for us.

  realize if you treat people a certain way, it may be bleeding

  into your relationship with him. And if you are afraid to get

  close to people, you're probably afraid to get close to God and
• 32:26
  so you act like you love people, you know, you love people, you
• 32:29
  give but you're always holding. Matt this arm's length right

  place and until you put that guard down from being hurt

  betrayed through toxicity, through abuse until you learn,
• 32:42
  to put that guard down from to God, you won't experience him as
• 32:49
  fully as he like to experience you.

  And that's what I'm doing. Currently, mm-hmm.

  My intimacy with him because even Bass In his presence for
• 33:01
  one day. You know, it says in the Bible
• 33:03
  that he blessed you behind closed doors and so when you go

  to that secret place, you know, and and pray to him and spend
• 33:10
  time with him, he can touch your heart in a way that he hasn't
• 33:14
  been able to before openly in public or whatever.

  But public will see the change in You by what God doesn't
• 33:21
  behind closed doors. And so I just promote warship a
• 33:26
  Heart of Worship worship is not just singing and being in
• 33:30
  church, but Worship is, you know, how you live and how you
• 33:33
  work your hem and ending that prioritize time with him.
• 33:37
  And again, watch how you treat him, watch how you treat other
• 33:42
  people because it'll show you how you treat him.
• 33:44
  I don't know why we think because we have a relationship
• 33:46
  with other people. It won't bleed into a
• 33:48
  relationship that we have a God. It's like hmm relationship if
• 33:52
  you don't know how to be in a relationship, you don't know how
• 33:53
  to be in a relationship. So I just implore you not to

  separate who you are as a being because whenever you go To God

  relationally, you'll get closer to people relationally, and you

  never know what's behind that door.
