- 2:32Speaker 9: the end of the podcast, I always that's true.
- 2:37Speaker 8: Are we doing like recent movies like something like like
- 2:40Speaker 8: more topical things?
- 2:41Speaker 4: Because the only great because.
- 2:43Speaker 8: The only things I've seen recently have been either animated or.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Yeah or or something.
- 2:50Speaker 8: With uh uh inappropriate but.
- 2:53Speaker 10: Anyway, something I'm gonna yeah, all right.
- 2:58Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, clearing, I'm in the same boat with you.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Yeah, it'll be movies from across the entire spectrum, but also.
- 3:08Speaker 7: The category hand or oh, we're going to get into it.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I didn't mean to put the cart before the herd.
- 3:16Speaker 3: It feels like they're really chomping at the bit here,
- 3:18Speaker 3: so maybe.
- 3:20Speaker 1: Let's do it.
- 3:21Speaker 6: Let's do it all right.
- 3:22Speaker 7: We're going to start off with a game that Bugues
- 3:26Speaker 7: made up called the Starting Five. And so how this works,
- 3:30Speaker 7: I'm going to name my five favorite actors from a
- 3:34Speaker 7: particular film. When you know the film, you're going to
- 3:37Speaker 7: ring in with your name, so I know who's ringing in.
- 3:40Speaker 6: Uh.
- 3:41Speaker 7: If you get it wrong, there's no negative points, but
- 3:43Speaker 7: you won't be able to guess again for that movie.
- 3:47Speaker 6: Uh.
- 3:47Speaker 7: If there are actors' names remaining, you can guess those
- 3:50Speaker 7: for a point each another person can steal if you
- 3:54Speaker 7: get any of those names wrong. And all of these
- 3:58Speaker 7: films are going to have some thing in common. When
- 4:01Speaker 7: you know the theme, you can ring in at any
- 4:04Speaker 7: time for a point.
- 4:06Speaker 11: All right, okay, five, So five people, five cast members
- 4:11Speaker 11: from a film, and we named the film.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Exactly, and you can come in at any point in
- 4:16Speaker 3: that you know, if you think you have it after
- 4:18Speaker 3: the first one, maybe you.
- 4:20Speaker 7: Do, Maybe you do, maybe, and then you could guess
- 4:23Speaker 7: the four actors remaining and get up more points.
- 4:26Speaker 9: I was thinking that, like with this group of people,
- 4:28Speaker 9: this is gonna be one of the highest scoring games
- 4:30Speaker 9: or the lowest.
- 4:33Speaker 6: Nope, over under?
- 4:35Speaker 3: Is that point?
- 4:36Speaker 4: Five?
- 4:38Speaker 6: You're gonna do? Great? I'm excited. Are you guys ready
- 4:44Speaker 6: ready to go? Also? Good? All right? The first name
- 4:50Speaker 6: is Roger Bart. The second name is Will Ferrell. Damn, damn.
- 4:59Speaker 1: The producers boom wow, super impressed.
- 5:04Speaker 6: I can remain.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Now I can name some more actors.
- 5:05Speaker 11: Okay, uh Nathan.
- 5:10Speaker 6: Lane, yes?
- 5:14Speaker 1: Oh, hold on five Huffman, Katie Huffman.
- 5:23Speaker 6: Didn't pick Katie Huffman. One more name? Oh?
- 5:26Speaker 11: I thought I was just naming people. Okay, Okay, well,
- 5:30Speaker 11: well okay then no, so yeah, it's it's my five
- 5:37Speaker 11: favorite I seen. Yeah, it's usually.
- 5:44Speaker 6: More the top build.
- 5:46Speaker 1: Usually I haven't seen the movie, so yeah.
- 5:49Speaker 6: Yeah, okay, Well yeah, Nathan, Nathan Lane, you got Nathan Lane, Dave,
- 5:55Speaker 6: Matthew Broderick Boom, you got to musicals. Uh, it's not
- 6:03Speaker 6: movie musicals. That's a good guess.
- 6:05Speaker 1: It is not.
- 6:06Speaker 6: That was to each.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It was to each, got it?
- 6:10Speaker 6: It was good. That was impressive.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Yeah, that was really fast.

- 6:19Speaker 6: rocked it up.

- 21:21Speaker 4: Ah, well, you're welcome, Dave.
- 21:25Speaker 9: Jenny did do that during one of our games, though
- 21:27Speaker 9: she leaned over. She was very mad, I don't I.
- 21:35Speaker 6: Feel like I know the name. Yeah, I'm gonna I
- 21:37Speaker 6: want to say me lacunas.
- 21:39Speaker 7: You're good done, sweet, Well, Dave, you did very very well.
- 21:46Speaker 1: How many points was that just for posterity?
- 21:48Speaker 6: That was another three points?
- 21:50Speaker 1: Well, yeah you really needed it.
- 21:53Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah he did. But there's more games, you guys,
- 21:57Speaker 7: so we'll see how you do on this next.
- 21:59Speaker 3: One, right, and this next one it's a different setup.
- 22:03Speaker 3: So you're still going to ring in the same way
- 22:05Speaker 3: by saying your name. Uh, there are still going to
- 22:08Speaker 3: be five clues for every single movie, but this one
- 22:13Speaker 3: we're gonna do plot words. So what I'm gonna do
- 22:15Speaker 3: is I'm going to say words or phrases five different
- 22:18Speaker 3: ones for the movies. Once you think you have the film,
- 22:22Speaker 3: you can ring it at any time and guess. And
- 22:25Speaker 3: we're gonna do weighted points because I'm just remembering that
- 22:27Speaker 3: we wanted to do that last time. So if you
- 22:29Speaker 3: get it after the first one, you get five after
- 22:32Speaker 3: the second one, four, so on and so forth. But
- 22:35Speaker 3: you can keep guessing after each clue, so there might
- 22:39Speaker 3: be sorry you get it wrong.
- 22:40Speaker 11: If you get it wrong at say one or two,
- 22:43Speaker 11: and then get it wrong, can you continue guessing three?
- 22:47Speaker 14: One?
- 22:47Speaker 6: You can just keep going. You can guess each one. Yeah,
- 22:49Speaker 6: keep going?
- 22:50Speaker 3: So does that make sense?
- 22:52Speaker 6: So Cinderella over.
- 22:53Speaker 3: There's also a theme for this, so ringing at any
- 22:55Speaker 3: point if you want to guess that a theme associated.
- 22:59Speaker 3: But yeah, does that make sense?
- 23:02Speaker 6: Yes?
- 23:03Speaker 3: Okay, cool, we'll start with number one.
- 23:07Speaker 1: Stutter damn the king speech.
- 23:13Speaker 3: Oh, great guess but incorrect.
- 23:14Speaker 6: That is a great guest.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Wow, that right?
- 23:18Speaker 3: Okay, the four point clue.
- 23:21Speaker 1: A protective mother.
- 23:25Speaker 3: Sally, Yeah, water boy, water boys correct, four points.
- 23:34Speaker 6: Mama, Okay, that was awesome. That's great.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Not making fun of any of her friends with.
- 23:43Speaker 4: Stutters, of course, of course that character.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Let's I love that movie, man, I haven't seen it
- 23:52Speaker 3: in a long time. There's no way it holds up
- 23:53Speaker 3: right like Henry Winkler. That's a good job.
- 24:02Speaker 4: That's a good job, you mean, mister timeless.
- 24:06Speaker 3: Amazing. Give us my favorite part of Barry too.
- 24:10Speaker 1: Because man, he was good. I haven't seen it.
- 24:15Speaker 6: It's so good that Barry his death and scream wasn't
- 24:19Speaker 6: supposed to be there. Yeah, I was going to watch that.
- 24:28Speaker 6: I'm it Drew Barrymore.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Okay, let's go to number two. First clues, intellectual property,
- 24:44Speaker 3: four point clue, identical Twins.
- 24:48Speaker 4: Sally Sally, social network.
- 24:51Speaker 3: Boy, this might be your game, buddy.
- 24:55Speaker 1: You know what.
- 24:55Speaker 4: I was going to ring in after the first one,
- 24:58Speaker 4: and I was like, let's wait.
- 25:00Speaker 3: I like it.
- 25:01Speaker 1: That was really good.
- 25:03Speaker 7: You can you can guess each time. You don't have
- 25:07Speaker 7: to save on your guesses. Sure, yeah, yeah, that's a
- 25:10Speaker 7: good point.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Yeah, that's awesome.
- 25:15Speaker 3: Number three audio visual equipment.
- 25:23Speaker 6: You're just saying things you're seeing right now a.

- 25:52Speaker 3: Real tough Dave.
- 25:56Speaker 6: Yeah, days didn't confused.
- 25:58Speaker 3: Oh, good guess as well.
- 25:59Speaker 6: The hazing that's what it is. That is.
- 26:03Speaker 3: Yeah, let's move on to the three point clue, and
- 26:07Speaker 3: I'm gonna flip these around. Well, which one I'll keep
- 26:11Speaker 3: it the way I had it. Three point clue blow
- 26:15Speaker 3: job lesson.
- 26:18Speaker 6: Dave, the Girl next Door?
- 26:22Speaker 3: Oh, no, incorrect, I know it now.
- 26:27Speaker 1: To give away familiar it was audio video equipment and
- 26:37Speaker 1: blow is.
- 26:41Speaker 6: Familiar with blow job.
- 26:47Speaker 4: Dang it.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Let's go to the two point clue public nudity.
- 26:58Speaker 8: Else on the tip of my tongue too. I think, man,

- 27:25Speaker 4: Oh for sure. That was the first time I saw boobs.
- 27:32Speaker 3: I had seen before that. I do you think about it?
- 27:35Speaker 1: Though? It's a good question.
- 27:37Speaker 3: Does anyone have an idea for themes?
- 27:40Speaker 6: Nope?
- 27:41Speaker 3: Okay, great movies?

- 32:58Speaker 6: There was one crazy person that was getting their mass.
- 33:00Speaker 3: So yeah, looking at my dissertation number eight, ensemble movie.
- 33:11Speaker 1: Ensemble four point clue Obsession.
- 33:21Speaker 6: By Kelvin Kleine.

- 33:40Speaker 3: I guess in this case. Ensemble movie is.
- 33:45Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 33:48Speaker 6: You at the time into these clues. We're heaving.
- 33:54Speaker 9: We just ruined like a bunch of really good like
- 33:56Speaker 9: puns and stuff because we've got numberly.
- 33:58Speaker 3: No, they're not that good for sure, No penis pump earlier, I.
- 34:03Speaker 6: Will say that, but yeah, I was gonna say we
- 34:09Speaker 6: didn't do it.
- 34:16Speaker 4: Well, you can just put that into any of the
- 34:18Speaker 4: next ones.
- 34:19Speaker 1: There is probably true.
- 34:21Speaker 4: It'll be the red herring of the of the clue.
- 34:25Speaker 1: All right, let's go to the nine.
- 34:29Speaker 3: I'm nine, beauty salon.
- 34:36Speaker 6: Dave yes, legally blonde.
- 34:39Speaker 3: My god, you guys are good at this point.
- 34:46Speaker 7: Damn Dave's he just pulled away pretty good. Yeah, he
- 34:53Speaker 7: got up to twenty two. There, Sally's at eight, dance
- 34:56Speaker 7: at seven.
- 34:57Speaker 3: I need to make these harder, huh or something.
- 35:01Speaker 6: I would have gotten beat real bad on this game.
- 35:04Speaker 3: This game is so hard to gauge to like what
- 35:07Speaker 3: is too you know.
- 35:11Speaker 1: It is hard to No, Yes, it's a difficult one.
- 35:13Speaker 3: All right, Well this is good because I didn't come
- 35:15Speaker 3: up with a tie breakers, So let's just do the
- 35:17Speaker 3: last one here. Number ten, Number teen impressions, four point clue,
- 35:29Speaker 3: improvised airbags. It's a weird clue. I get it. You know,
- 35:36Speaker 3: we're all doing our best here.
- 35:39Speaker 1: Three point clue are we.
- 35:42Speaker 3: We're all we're doing the best we could on the
- 35:44Speaker 3: day in which we did it. New parents, Uh.
- 35:52Speaker 6: Oh got it?
- 35:53Speaker 1: Two point huge party.
- 35:57Speaker 11: Yeah, damn neighbors.
- 36:02Speaker 3: Yeah, correct done. Remember they do the airbags and they
- 36:06Speaker 3: they're flying all over the place.
- 36:08Speaker 1: I haven't seen it, yes, Oh it's good. I'll have
- 36:11Speaker 1: to see it.
- 36:12Speaker 3: And right yeah, what's her name that I can't think
- 36:19Speaker 3: of right now?
- 36:20Speaker 6: Rose? It is. Actually they're actually very fun.
- 36:23Speaker 3: They're so good and the impressions they do. Robert and.
- 36:29Speaker 6: Franco does the whole party, the whole.
- 36:32Speaker 3: Crew, and it's so good.
- 36:34Speaker 7: But Dave Franco does the most impressive, pretty spot on cool.
- 36:39Speaker 3: For like a good impression. Yeah, it's fun to do,
- 36:43Speaker 3: really good at it. He can even make his face
- 36:46Speaker 3: like any Yeah, anyway, that was it for that game?
- 36:51Speaker 1: Who won?
- 36:52Speaker 6: Rob Dave? Dave won again. But y'all did much better
- 36:56Speaker 6: on that one. That was. That was a good one.
- 37:00Speaker 6: So this last game we're gonna do here, it's pretty
- 37:04Speaker 6: much jeopardy.
- 37:05Speaker 7: We call it bend it like Trebeckham, and so it's
- 37:11Speaker 7: gonna go from one through five points wise one being
- 37:17Speaker 7: the easiest. Five being the hardest. You don't have to
- 37:21Speaker 7: say it in the form of a question. That's a bummer.
- 37:27Speaker 6: What are the other things?
- 37:28Speaker 7: There's gonna be two daily doubles, and whenever that happens,
- 37:32Speaker 7: it's just whoever is the one that rings on it
- 37:34Speaker 7: gonna answer. The only difference with this game is that
- 37:38Speaker 7: you will get negative points if you get it wrong.
- 37:44Speaker 6: You're gonna tell us.
- 37:44Speaker 11: You're gonna tell us the category, and then we choose
- 37:47Speaker 11: one to five for the day exactly.
- 37:49Speaker 6: Yep.
- 37:50Speaker 7: So I'm gonna list off the categories, and then Bugs
- 37:52Speaker 7: is gonna actually share his screen and show you everything
- 37:55Speaker 7: so you don't have to remember it.
- 37:57Speaker 6: All cool, you know those last minute checks on your
- 38:00Speaker 6: screen there, Bugs, I am now yep, those mm hmm
- 38:08Speaker 6: complete bang bus series. All right, sweets. Then I will say.
- 38:17Speaker 7: The categories and then Bugs will show you here in
- 38:19Speaker 7: a second. But the first category, Holy Matt Ramoni, and
- 38:25Speaker 7: that's movies where a wedding takes place. We have Dan
- 38:31Speaker 7: in real life. These are actors named Daniel. The third
- 38:37Speaker 7: one is twenty four hours. This is movies that take
- 38:42Speaker 7: place in one day. Sally Ride and that's actresses in space.
- 38:52Speaker 1: God, you're clever.
- 38:53Speaker 7: And then because we used to play poker all the time.
- 38:59Speaker 7: I hardly know those movies where poker is played.
- 39:02Speaker 4: Yeah, I love it. Okay, the master at work.
- 39:06Speaker 9: Yep, these this this needs to go into like a
- 39:09Speaker 9: book about how to write good puns.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Oh yeah, all.
- 39:16Speaker 6: Share it?
- 39:17Speaker 1: Share man doing it?
- 39:19Speaker 6: Sharing is gary?
- 39:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 39:24Speaker 6: Yes, you guys are both doing a wonderful job. By
- 39:27Speaker 6: the way, thank you so much.
- 39:30Speaker 1: You guys are great. Really proud of you guys. Thanks.
- 39:36Speaker 4: This is tremendous.
- 39:37Speaker 6: I really enjoy this.
- 39:38Speaker 4: There we go, all right?
- 39:39Speaker 6: Nice.
- 39:40Speaker 8: I'm except I'm gonna want to keep touching the screen
- 39:42Speaker 8: here and like poking which number that I want to see?
- 39:48Speaker 1: Can you guys see this is big enough?
- 39:49Speaker 3: Everybody's good. But I'm just used to asking it. No,
- 39:56Speaker 3: I don't ask that. I know the answer.
- 40:01Speaker 6: All right.
- 40:02Speaker 7: Well, Dave, since you've just been rocking it out, you can.
- 40:05Speaker 7: It's your board wherever you want to go.
- 40:07Speaker 6: Oh, I feel like I have to go with twenty
- 40:09Speaker 6: four hours.
- 40:10Speaker 7: Twenty four hours for much for one or one to write.
- 40:16Speaker 6: This nineteen eighty eight action.
- 40:18Speaker 7: Film takes place at a Christmas party at Nakotomy Place.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Dave, I believe way? Was I right?
- 40:27Speaker 1: Yeah, Da've had it.
- 40:28Speaker 7: They've had it, They've got Okay, yeah, die Hard, die
- 40:31Speaker 7: Hard is correct.
- 40:32Speaker 1: Nice.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Yeah, still your board, Dave.
- 40:36Speaker 9: And that is like, so we don't have to wait
- 40:37Speaker 9: for the question to be finished asking before we can
- 40:39Speaker 9: bring in.
- 40:40Speaker 6: I mean, there's some of them that you'll need to
- 40:43Speaker 6: but it's not a part of a rule. It's definitely
- 40:46Speaker 6: not part of a rule. Okay, let's go number two,
- 40:50Speaker 6: Number two.
- 40:52Speaker 7: This film takes place on the last day of school
- 40:55Speaker 7: in nineteen seventy six, and critics and audiences alike, Yes, Dave.
- 41:00Speaker 6: Days and confused, dazed and confused. I was gonna say
- 41:03Speaker 6: they thought it was all right, all right? Ay, ye
- 41:08Speaker 6: got that correct, Dave? Where would you like to go?
- 41:11Speaker 6: Number three? Number three?
- 41:14Speaker 7: In nineteen eighty six, John Hughes released this film about
- 41:18Speaker 7: a guy who skips school and has an epicadure around bugs.
- 41:22Speaker 6: I need your help.
- 41:23Speaker 1: I think it was Dave again.
- 41:25Speaker 6: Okay, Ferris Buehler's day Off. Sorry, Harris Buehler's Day Off
- 41:30Speaker 6: is correct.
- 41:32Speaker 1: I mean, I know it sounds on my end.
- 41:34Speaker 3: Yeah, don't worry. I'll make the edit. So Dave's definitely here.
- 41:41Speaker 9: Yeah, you can blame the bluetooth. Yeah, yeah, number.
- 41:47Speaker 6: Four, number four.
- 41:51Speaker 7: Michael Mann directed this two thousand and four film where
- 41:55Speaker 7: a contract killer makes a cab driver take him all
- 41:57Speaker 7: around Los Angeles, go away from.
- 41:59Speaker 6: Hit and that collateral collateral correct?
- 42:03Speaker 1: Nice done?
- 42:05Speaker 6: And Dan, that's your board? Where would you like to go?
- 42:08Speaker 1: Let's close out the twenty four hours.
- 42:11Speaker 6: Well ring ding ding ding. Dan is our first daily double.
- 42:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 42:17Speaker 6: And when you have less than five points, you can
- 42:20Speaker 6: do up to five points.
