- 0:01Speaker 1: Prayer Circle. It's time for Prayer Circle. And Prayer Circle
- 0:05Speaker 1: is a time to bring the needs of different listeners
- 0:08Speaker 1: before the Lord in prayer so that we can see
- 0:10Speaker 1: him answer. Please pray along with me. And Father, we
- 0:15Speaker 1: thank you for this Friday heading into this October weekend.
- 0:18Speaker 1: And Lord, we just want to be about your business
- 0:21Speaker 1: every day, looking for your divine appointments, people you want
- 0:26Speaker 1: us to love on and listen to and learn from.
- 0:31Speaker 1: And Lord, we just want our conversations to be seasoned
- 0:35Speaker 1: with grace, truth and grace. Lord, whatever the situation requires, Lord,
- 0:39Speaker 1: we know you will quicken something for us to say,
- 0:44Speaker 1: someone to pray for, someone to listen to. Lord, give
- 0:49Speaker 1: us those appointments. Help us to remember that we're your kids,
- 0:54Speaker 1: we're part of your family, and we want to be available.
- 0:58Speaker 1: Fill us afresh with your spirit, Lord. We thank you
- 1:00Speaker 1: for this day and this weekend. We commit it to you.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Praying for this Missions Fest conference happening at Eastside Church
- 1:07Speaker 1: this weekend, today and tomorrow. Lord, we just pray for
- 1:10Speaker 1: many people to be inspired, to be involved in missions,
- 1:13Speaker 1: whether it's short-term, long-term. Lord, to share the gospel. Also,
- 1:20Speaker 1: so concerned again about this shooting here in neighboring Oregon
- 1:25Speaker 1: and Bend. Several children killed. all killed by a 16-year-old child. Lord,
- 1:31Speaker 1: just comfort those families affected, that community. Lord, only you
- 1:38Speaker 1: can sort through this. Lord, we pray for your comfort
- 1:41Speaker 1: and peace in this time of tragic loss. Also, always
- 1:47Speaker 1: praying for our country. Lord, give the president wisdom regarding
- 1:50Speaker 1: very difficult decisions. Just such a dangerous world. People are
- 1:54Speaker 1: so upset. Lord, we pray for peace. We pray for
- 1:57Speaker 1: the peace of Jerusalem. Lord, give wisdom to bring this about.
- 2:05Speaker 1: Also praying specifically today, first of all, for a neighbor
- 2:09Speaker 1: who has become paralyzed. They're not sure why, but she's
- 2:14Speaker 1: paralyzed from the neck down, been in the hospital. She
- 2:17Speaker 1: can talk, but not sure if this is a stroke
- 2:20Speaker 1: or what's causing this. Lord, we pray for Wisdom for
- 2:23Speaker 1: doctors treating her. We pray that you completely heal her.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Show her neighbor friend how to pray for her and
- 2:30Speaker 1: how to witness to her. Also praying for a friend
- 2:38Speaker 1: living on the streets far away from family. Possible mental
- 2:42Speaker 1: illness worsened by drug abuse. Lord, you know this individual.
- 2:46Speaker 1: This is so many people's story. Lord, this particular person,
- 2:49Speaker 1: we just pray for your love and compassion to come
- 2:52Speaker 1: into their life, that they need help, they need to
- 2:56Speaker 1: get off the street. Lord, show them the way to
- 2:58Speaker 1: do that. Also praying for a friend's niece who passed away. Lord,
- 3:08Speaker 1: you know this niece. We just pray for comfort for
- 3:12Speaker 1: this sister and how this has affected her. Lord, we
- 3:16Speaker 1: pray that you'd help her in her time of grief.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Also a person just asking for resolution of an accident
- 3:24Speaker 1: where they actually hit a pedestrian because of some bright
- 3:31Speaker 1: sun and just a real misunderstanding. But nevertheless, a person
- 3:35Speaker 1: was injured. Lord, we pray you resolve this without court
- 3:38Speaker 1: if possible. Just work out insurance or whatever is necessary there.
- 3:46Speaker 1: And we ask for all of this in Jesus' name. Amen.
