- 0:00Speaker 1: And I want to tell his story a little bit.
- 0:04Speaker 1: You know, as we know, there's been catastrophic flooding and
- 0:06Speaker 1: destruction in the southeast really all over the place down there,
- 0:11Speaker 1: and anyway, he's got a plan to help. We've got
- 0:15Speaker 1: a lot of other stuff going on, big stuff going
- 0:18Speaker 1: on this weekend around town. We've got the Halloween Spectacular
- 0:22Speaker 1: at the Tower Center at Unity Square tomorrow night, five
- 0:26Speaker 1: thirty to seven with a trunk retreat inflatables, food, children's
- 0:30Speaker 1: book giveaway, candy cannon, all that fun stuff. And then
- 0:34Speaker 1: Saturday night is the Arts of Hopestone Silent auction fundraiser
- 0:38Speaker 1: featuring the artwork and the Hopstone potter stuff, and it's
- 0:44Speaker 1: at the beautiful facility downtown and Hopestin does touch great stuff.
- 0:48Speaker 1: It's a great nonprofit and that's a really fun event.
- 0:53Speaker 1: And then next week is Hops for Hope, which is
- 0:56Speaker 1: another big one, over eight hundred people out in Hangar
- 0:59Speaker 1: one at the airport and a big home brewing competition
- 1:04Speaker 1: and really a lot of fun there. So busy, busy
- 1:07Speaker 1: time of year. And I guess, and as you know,
- 1:09Speaker 1: there's more stuff going on. You can get information on
- 1:13Speaker 1: all of that and more details, get figure out tickets
- 1:16Speaker 1: and when things are happening at the Barswel Chamber of
- 1:19Speaker 1: Common Iverse Community Calendar, and a lot of this stuff
- 1:23Speaker 1: is also at Barsweel Radio right there. Sure, and Dungeons Toyota.
- 1:29Speaker 1: We're just really excited right now.
- 1:31Speaker 2: It's been there's exciting things going on right.
- 1:34Speaker 1: Now, Brad.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Yeah, you know we've we've made some changes. We've got
- 1:39Speaker 2: more changes coming. Even more exciting than that. We've got
- 1:42Speaker 2: some great, great deals. I was just looking at Tundras
- 1:47Speaker 2: and you know, we've got some financing offers through Toyota
- 1:52Speaker 2: right now, one point nine to nine on Tundras and
- 1:57Speaker 2: a featured leaves only four thirty nine. Really great, great
- 2:02Speaker 2: deal on a Tundra for eight hundred. I don't know
- 2:07Speaker 2: whether you've driven one of these, tom you know they're they're.
- 2:11Speaker 1: Powerful, Yes, especially the I Force Max. UH, the engine,
- 2:16Speaker 1: the the hybrid, it's a dual turbocharged hybrid engine. Really
- 2:22Speaker 1: great low end torque, excellent power spectrum, good fuel economy,
- 2:26Speaker 1: really a great engine and UH and and reforms well,
- 2:31Speaker 1: have a great repute time a lifetime in these things
- 2:34Speaker 1: that last a lifetime. Yeah, and we do have a
- 2:37Speaker 1: great selection right now. I was looking before we came
- 2:40Speaker 1: out and we've got a total of fifty six toyotas
- 2:43Speaker 1: either on the ground or in the pipeline right now,
- 2:45Speaker 1: which is the most fantastic. We've got eleven four wheel
- 2:50Speaker 1: drive tacomas to choose from. We've got you mentioned the Tundras,
- 2:54Speaker 1: six hundreds, a couple of Benzas, three Cienas, a couple
- 2:59Speaker 1: of Saqua nine rav fours well and on Preus Prime
- 3:03Speaker 1: PRIs Land Cruiser, g R eighty six, Highlander and Grand Highlander.
- 3:09Speaker 2: So a Prius Prime that that is interesting. We've we've
- 3:14Speaker 2: had a lot of inquiries over the years for those.
- 3:17Speaker 2: Those are plug in hybrids. You get about what fifty
- 3:22Speaker 2: miles on all electric mode and then it switches over
- 3:27Speaker 2: to hybrid mode, so you kind of get the best
- 3:28Speaker 2: of both worlds. We have great deals on those tacomas
- 3:34Speaker 2: right now, Brad. I've noticed that you've been really aggressively
- 3:40Speaker 2: pricing those, yes, and we also have some great rates
- 3:45Speaker 2: on them five second every month, right aggressively priced right now.
- 3:51Speaker 1: I have noticed that shares plant. We definitely want to
- 3:55Speaker 1: make it simple, keep the you know, we do the
- 3:58Speaker 1: hard work for you. I look at market pricing every day.
- 4:01Speaker 1: First thing I do every morning, go in and reprice
- 4:05Speaker 1: the cars and make sure everything's up to date. We
- 4:08Speaker 1: can see what we know, of course, what we've been
- 4:10Speaker 1: selling things for and what we're hearing from our customers.
- 4:12Speaker 1: It's we have the tool that will go out on
- 4:14Speaker 1: the internet and I can see pretty much everybody has
- 4:18Speaker 1: everything priced and there's a lot of great data these
- 4:21Speaker 1: days about transaction prices, and so it's easy to really
- 4:26Speaker 1: put that price where it needs to be to make
- 4:28Speaker 1: it so that you know, we can afford to sell
- 4:30Speaker 1: it and you get a great deal, and then it's
- 4:32Speaker 1: a lot every We want to make that a win
- 4:34Speaker 1: win for everybody and keep it simple and fast. And
- 4:38Speaker 1: you know, I hear from people all the time about
- 4:41Speaker 1: how it's just a different environment when you come into Dundris.
- 4:44Speaker 1: A friend a friend told me that yesterday very much.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So you know, it's just a family environment. There's not
- 4:51Speaker 1: a lot of pressure from the sales team. They definitely
- 4:54Speaker 1: just want to help you and take care of it.
- 4:57Speaker 2: Their incentive is really to be a professional who helps
- 5:02Speaker 2: you find a car, and not.
- 5:06Speaker 1: Some non commissioned sales associates and management. They really don't
- 5:12Speaker 1: you know, they're paid, isn't driven by the profit they make,
- 5:15Speaker 1: so on your car. So I think that's a really great,
- 5:18Speaker 1: great thing about shopping at Dungeons. But enough of that,
- 5:22Speaker 1: we've I want to talk about Jeremy. And Jeremy is
- 5:24Speaker 1: a veteran, so thank you for your service. Jeremy, and
- 5:28Speaker 1: you're in the Marine Corps, and and you grew up
- 5:31Speaker 1: in Michigan. I know, and I've been here and around
- 5:34Speaker 1: here for a few years now, and we met earlier
- 5:36Speaker 1: this year when you were working with Operation Rubicon and
- 5:41Speaker 1: doing some volunteer work to help other veterans around here.
- 5:46Speaker 1: And anyway, tell us your story and what you're dreaming
- 5:51Speaker 1: of now with this Operation Appalachian Relief.
- 5:55Speaker 3: Okay, well, I guess i'd better start over at the
- 5:57Speaker 3: beginning then, Like you said, growing up, and I grew
- 6:00Speaker 3: up in the factories. My families worked in the factories.
- 6:06Speaker 3: I left and I went to the Marine Corps. I
- 6:08Speaker 3: spent eight years in the Marine Corps, and when I
- 6:11Speaker 3: was getting out, I had no desire to return to
- 6:14Speaker 3: those factories. So I ended up coming down here with
- 6:18Speaker 3: my family and help my father build his house in Kopan.
- 6:24Speaker 3: And after moving down here, realized this is a great environment,
- 6:29Speaker 3: a great place to raise children, good morals, not that
- 6:37Speaker 3: much crime compared to other parts of the country. So
- 6:41Speaker 3: we ended up staying here and as of this year,
- 6:44Speaker 3: i've been here for twenty years. When I got out
- 6:48Speaker 3: of the Marine Corps, though, I moved out here, and
- 6:52Speaker 3: it's hard for veterans, especially marines, to be able to
- 6:57Speaker 3: transition back to civilian life. There's a strong connection with
- 7:02Speaker 3: other veterans there, and so moving out here, it's very
- 7:08Speaker 3: rural and there's very few marines around here, so the
- 7:13Speaker 3: connections really were not there. Then in about twenty eighteen,
- 7:22Speaker 3: I went through a rough time in my life and
- 7:25Speaker 3: at the same time, I didn't have any responsibilities or
- 7:31Speaker 3: anything else like that, and I got into a rough
- 7:36Speaker 3: patch where I had to figure things out. And what
- 7:39Speaker 3: I realized is I no longer had purpose in life.
- 7:43Speaker 3: We all need purpose. I truly believe that's why when
- 7:50Speaker 3: people retire, they pass away soon after, because they don't
- 7:53Speaker 3: have any more purpose when you're used to going. So
- 8:00Speaker 3: at the same time, a friend of mine had shared
- 8:03Speaker 3: something about Team Rubicon, and I thought to myself, what
- 8:08Speaker 3: is this Team Rubicon? Her the name? So I went
- 8:11Speaker 3: and did some research and what Team Rubicon does is
- 8:15Speaker 3: they respond natural disasters. We also do veteran projects such
- 8:21Speaker 3: as building rams or anything else. When you leave service,
- 8:31Speaker 3: you leave something behind, you leave a part of you behind,
- 8:35Speaker 3: because ultimately you've been brainwashed to be in that spot
- 8:40Speaker 3: in life. So I gave Team Rubicon a chance, and
- 8:46Speaker 3: what I found out is this is exactly what I've
- 8:50Speaker 3: been missing, what I've needed.
- 8:53Speaker 1: I get out.
- 8:53Speaker 3: There and I start talking with other veterans and realize
- 8:57Speaker 3: they're there for the exact same reason in.
- 9:01Speaker 1: That community that you needed, Yes, sir, the purpose, Yes, sir.
- 9:06Speaker 3: I think ultimately anybody out there volunteering for any organization
- 9:11Speaker 3: is ultimately there for themselves. Okay, they they're they're because
- 9:16Speaker 3: they're missing something in life. But then once you realize
- 9:20Speaker 3: that you're not just helping yourself, you're helping the veteran
- 9:24Speaker 3: next to you, and together as a team, you're helping
- 9:28Speaker 3: these homeowners.
- 9:30Speaker 1: Yeah, the same thing in our business. Really, you know,
- 9:34Speaker 1: the Sparks thing. We've talked about sparks and it's sincere
- 9:37Speaker 1: partnerships align resilient guys in superheroes, and I don't know
- 9:41Speaker 1: if we've dimit. I said the whole thing to you
- 9:43Speaker 1: like that, but you know, I'm hearing that in what
- 9:46Speaker 1: you're saying there, because that's our business has those values.
- 9:49Speaker 1: We want people to to look at it the same way.
- 9:52Speaker 1: We're a community. We're there to serve our customers and
- 9:55Speaker 1: the community as a whole and help people like you.
- 9:58Speaker 1: You know, that's how our paths crossed. Is just trying
- 10:01Speaker 1: to help you with your inspiration, and you know it's
- 10:05Speaker 1: a it's really a great inspiration you have.
- 10:09Speaker 3: So anyway, go back back to your story you're ruying.
- 10:14Speaker 4: So the.
- 10:18Speaker 3: I guess I can call it satisfaction, the satisfaction of
- 10:21Speaker 3: being able to help somebody after they've given up hope
- 10:25Speaker 3: that nobody's coming to help, and then giving them a
- 10:30Speaker 3: hug they break down in your arms. You feel their pain,
- 10:33Speaker 3: you feel their story, and you feel the gratitude coming
- 10:38Speaker 3: from them. So this spring, I jumped all around Oklahoma
- 10:45Speaker 3: hear responding to all the tornado outbreaks that we had unfortunately,
- 10:53Speaker 3: and I figured I would be going out to the
- 10:57Speaker 3: southeast United States with Team rub On. But once I
- 11:04Speaker 3: started hearing what's really happening out there, and the magnitude
- 11:10Speaker 3: of the area that's been affected is the entire Southeastern seaboard,
- 11:17Speaker 3: there's not enough organizations in this country to help all
- 11:20Speaker 3: these people out there.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Well, it's over fifty billion dollars in damages, I understand.
- 11:25Speaker 1: That's just incredible.
- 11:27Speaker 3: Yes, yes, And I have friends out there in Tennessee
- 11:33Speaker 3: who I've spoke to, and there's a lot of people
- 11:37Speaker 3: that are unaccounted for. Still they're not talking about it,
- 11:40Speaker 3: but there is a lot of people unaccounted for.
- 11:45Speaker 1: We obviously need to get things cleaned up and back
- 11:47Speaker 1: and restored, and you know, an infrastructure, right so people
- 11:51Speaker 1: can go back to some kind of life.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Yeah, sure, yes, or and the people there on the
- 11:56Speaker 3: ground now, they're locals. They're locals help and their neighbors,
- 12:01Speaker 3: their church groups, and their wore out their beat, and
- 12:06Speaker 3: nobody's coming to replace them. Nobody else is coming to
- 12:10Speaker 3: help now. So I started talking with a couple other
- 12:15Speaker 3: Marines and we have decided to form our own little group.
- 12:21Speaker 3: We're going to go out there for at least two weeks,
- 12:24Speaker 3: hopefully the whole month of November and to help out
- 12:27Speaker 3: as many people as we can. You.
- 12:32Speaker 1: I met you back.
- 12:33Speaker 3: In January or February when I was getting min all changed,
- 12:38Speaker 3: and we just started talking and we formed a relationship there,
- 12:45Speaker 3: and we got to talking about doing some veteran projects
- 12:48Speaker 3: together here in bartelstill helping some veterans with ramps or
- 12:53Speaker 3: you know, painting their house, anything that they might need.
- 13:00Speaker 1: So this group of.
- 13:02Speaker 3: Marines I have going down there with me, we're all
- 13:06Speaker 3: volunteering our own time. We're doing work at no cost
- 13:10Speaker 3: to the homeowners. We're supplying all of our own gear,
- 13:14Speaker 3: and we are funding ourselves.
- 13:19Speaker 1: Congratulations, that's awesome. And you know earlier this week, just
- 13:23Speaker 1: a few days ago, you approached me with that and
- 13:25Speaker 1: just asked for a pretty simple little gift of a chainsaw.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Well, well, I don't know how simple and easy it was,
- 13:32Speaker 3: but I sure appreciate it.
- 13:34Speaker 1: Yes, well, I'm glad to be able to help you,
- 13:37Speaker 1: really proud to I appreciate you.
- 13:40Speaker 3: You have donated a brand new chainsaw to our effort,
- 13:44Speaker 3: and that is going to do wonders. It would be
- 13:49Speaker 3: horrible to be stuck up in the mountains with a
- 13:52Speaker 3: chainsaw that went down and no backup. So your generous
- 13:58Speaker 3: contribution to are is going to go a long way
- 14:01Speaker 3: as and we thank.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You so much. It just seems so small and with
- 14:04Speaker 1: all the need.
- 14:05Speaker 2: And Jeremy, what are you what are you calling your project?
- 14:10Speaker 3: So came up with the name of Operation Appllation Relief,
- 14:17Speaker 3: figured that that would be a fitting name as that's
- 14:21Speaker 3: what we're doing. We're going to be out there in
- 14:23Speaker 3: the appllation.
- 14:24Speaker 1: It's going to be cold.
- 14:25Speaker 3: It's November. Most of the organizations and volunteers are going
- 14:31Speaker 3: to Florida where it's nice and.
- 14:32Speaker 1: Warms do their volunteer work.
- 14:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:35Speaker 3: Yes, So we've decided to go in there and help
- 14:39Speaker 3: these people and see what we need it down And.
- 14:42Speaker 1: You guys are not only marines and have a chainsaw,
- 14:45Speaker 1: but you are experienced with you know, all kinds of
- 14:47Speaker 1: construction work and mechanical work, and and I can really
- 14:52Speaker 1: be helpful. I think and and get and when you
- 14:55Speaker 1: get down there and tell them a little bit about
- 14:58Speaker 1: your do you have a plan or where you're going
- 14:59Speaker 1: to go first, and the logistics of this.
- 15:02Speaker 3: So my initial destination is Greenville, Tennessee. I've got a
- 15:07Speaker 3: contact there. I'm heading out about four or five days
- 15:11Speaker 3: before everybody else is, and I'm going to go down there.
- 15:15Speaker 3: And there's a couple groups of veterans already working in
- 15:19Speaker 3: the area. I've gotten their contact information. So we're going
- 15:23Speaker 3: to be contacting them. And yet, like you said, we're
- 15:27Speaker 3: not just doing chainsaw work. What our capabilities are is, yes,
- 15:32Speaker 3: the chainsaw work, but we also have carpentry construction knowledge.
- 15:37Speaker 3: We know how to run heavy equipment machines. We can, Oh,
- 15:45Speaker 3: there's a couple of us there medical trained. I wasn EMT,
- 15:48Speaker 3: so I've got that training. But we will be doing
- 15:53Speaker 3: chainsaw work. We can turp or board up windows or roofs,
- 16:00Speaker 3: help with any type of small repairs that they might need,
- 16:04Speaker 3: removing items.
- 16:05Speaker 1: Out of the house.
- 16:06Speaker 3: There's a lot of flooding, so not only removing the items,
- 16:10Speaker 3: but also the sheet rock that had gotten wet in
- 16:12Speaker 3: the insulation. And there's been a big need I've seen
- 16:19Speaker 3: for fence repair. On farms, there's a lot of farm
- 16:24Speaker 3: animals that are running moves, so I would think so
- 16:27Speaker 3: people are asking for assistance with that.
- 16:29Speaker 1: But we're very flexible.
- 16:32Speaker 3: We can hopefully do anything and everything that the homeowner
- 16:37Speaker 3: needs help with.
- 16:38Speaker 1: Great, this is such a good thing. Yeah, it's a
- 16:41Speaker 1: great story and really inspiring to me and I'm sure
- 16:45Speaker 1: to the listeners out there, and you know, it reminds
- 16:48Speaker 1: me of the story of the donmic Clannet story about
- 16:52Speaker 1: Fellowship of Christian Athletes that my grandfather Don was the
- 16:57Speaker 1: founder of Fellowship Christian Athletes. He was from our part
- 17:00Speaker 1: of the country here and was driving through Bartlesville in
- 17:04Speaker 1: the thirties or no, it was later. It was later
- 17:07Speaker 1: than that. It was it was in the fifties when
- 17:08Speaker 1: he founded it. So I got to get my story right.
- 17:12Speaker 1: The facts are important, right the but they in the
- 17:16Speaker 1: fifties and he his car broke down, and he met
- 17:18Speaker 1: my grandfather, you know, like you did in the service department,
- 17:21Speaker 1: like we met in the service department, heard his story,
- 17:24Speaker 1: and they just stayed in touch. And my grandfather had
- 17:27Speaker 1: a contact with Brand Tricky and and he got down
- 17:31Speaker 1: and branched together and they they and that because it
- 17:34Speaker 1: really took Brand Tricky and a few of the other
- 17:37Speaker 1: really prominent people to help get this thing off the ground.
- 17:41Speaker 1: And uh, anyway, it was it was just one of
- 17:43Speaker 1: those things we didn't He didn't my grandfather didn't do
- 17:46Speaker 1: all that much, but he helped Don get his car
- 17:48Speaker 1: back on the road so he could keep spreading the
- 17:50Speaker 1: word about his vision of which was really, you know, special.
- 17:55Speaker 1: It was a personal inspiration of his, uh to bring uh,
- 17:59Speaker 1: you know, the he saw that sports athletes were promoting
- 18:02Speaker 1: things like soap and beer and that they weren't promoting, uh,
- 18:06Speaker 1: you know, the principles of Christianity and and you know
- 18:10Speaker 1: the important part of the morals and how our culture
- 18:13Speaker 1: is kept together, whatever religion you are, and you know that.
- 18:18Speaker 2: Really it's also a great example of how you know,
- 18:22Speaker 2: Dungeons as a local business is able to do things
- 18:27Speaker 2: you as a local businessman, are able to make decisions.
- 18:33Speaker 4: To have direct impact on the community.
- 18:35Speaker 1: Well, that's one of the most enjoyable parts of what
- 18:37Speaker 1: we do in a small business and in a car dealership.
- 18:39Speaker 1: I really do love being a part of it in
- 18:43Speaker 1: place like Bartlesville too, as you mentioned, with the great
- 18:46Speaker 1: people and not just Bartlesville. I mean you're from Cannie
- 18:48Speaker 1: and this whole air is so rich and it's people
- 18:52Speaker 1: and how how we treat each other and and I
- 18:55Speaker 1: think it makes a big difference, and that that generosity
- 18:58Speaker 1: you have and your your empathy for others than going
- 19:00Speaker 1: out to help them. And it's great you found your purpose.
- 19:04Speaker 1: It's really really special. I'm sure you'll have a big
- 19:07Speaker 1: impact and glad to help you with that. And so
- 19:11Speaker 1: these next few weeks will be an exciting time for you,
- 19:14Speaker 1: I'm sure, and we'll.
- 19:15Speaker 2: Be looking for photographs from you on our social media.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'll be sure to have updates over the next few
- 19:23Speaker 1: weeks if I can get some from you, tell people
- 19:28Speaker 1: on the radio show and what's going on, and then
- 19:31Speaker 1: love to have you back when you return.
- 19:33Speaker 3: Absolutely, yeah, sir, and I have to thank you for
- 19:37Speaker 3: everything that your family has done for the community. There's
- 19:42Speaker 3: a lot of great things that have been done here
- 19:44Speaker 3: and that's what also made me realize I could approach
- 19:48Speaker 3: you with this, and I just thank you, Brad, thank you,
- 19:51Speaker 3: and thank you Jeremy.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I think it's a it's a great partnership and I'm
- 19:55Speaker 1: proud to help in every way. Great yea, so again,
- 20:00Speaker 1: Jeremy cow and Operation Appalachian Relief and inspired sparky thing
- 20:06Speaker 1: that's coming out of Bartlesville.
- 20:08Speaker 2: It's it's very cool out of the area. I gotta
- 20:15Speaker 2: pull us back just for a minute to cars and
- 20:18Speaker 2: the car things.
- 20:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 20:20Speaker 2: So I had this idea and I pitched it to Angelar,
- 20:25Speaker 2: director of maintenance. By one really expensive tire and get
- 20:31Speaker 2: three free. She flipped it around and right now we've
- 20:37Speaker 2: got buy three and get one for free.
- 20:41Speaker 6: Going on very good.
- 20:45Speaker 2: None of them are expensive. It's it's a great deal.
- 20:48Speaker 2: So you know, if you're driving around on nubby tires.
- 20:53Speaker 2: We're getting into that season where hopefully we get some
- 20:56Speaker 2: precipitation and you can.
- 21:00Speaker 4: Help if and when it happens. You want to make
- 21:04Speaker 4: sure that you're making good contact with the road.
- 21:06Speaker 1: Of course, things like batteries, breaks, all this stuff is
- 21:10Speaker 1: so important this time of year, and as we changed,
- 21:13Speaker 1: the season start to change and the temperature strop. I
- 21:16Speaker 1: had to work on the battery on one of my
- 21:18Speaker 1: vehicles this last week and it definitely, uh, you know,
- 21:22Speaker 1: you want to have that checked. Have some of your
- 21:24Speaker 1: career running these. I almost drove it, actually it was
- 21:29Speaker 1: it was before the show last week. I got in
- 21:31Speaker 1: it and it wouldn't start, so that we gave you
- 21:34Speaker 1: the Catherine Heaven. It's doing great. It's doing great. We've gone.
- 21:42Speaker 1: It's it's those who don't know. It's a nineteen eighty
- 21:45Speaker 1: eight mer Core x R four t I with just
- 21:47Speaker 1: just about twenty five thousand miles not it hadn't been
- 21:50Speaker 1: driven too much. It's a car I had back in
- 21:52Speaker 1: the eighties, so it's kind of like it's interesting to
- 21:57Speaker 1: me it's a rare car. It was a Fords that
- 22:01Speaker 1: were made in Germany and then imported and they only
- 22:05Speaker 1: did it for a few years. Had two models and
- 22:07Speaker 1: the Yeah, one of them, I have one of them,
- 22:10Speaker 1: a classic. It's a classic. Yeah, id out of that.
- 22:14Speaker 1: Boys and girls come. I'm like, what, that's not possible.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Whatever I did. I was driving that when I met Kimberly,
- 22:22Speaker 1: my wife, and you know, so it has it's an
- 22:25Speaker 1: you know, it's not the same car. This one was
- 22:27Speaker 1: one that was actually owned by a great Bartlesville man,
- 22:30Speaker 1: Pete Silas up the car and it was he he
- 22:34Speaker 1: drove it in the in the nineties and uh for
- 22:37Speaker 1: a long time and and then it parked it under
- 22:40Speaker 1: at his house and then it sat there and sat
- 22:43Speaker 1: there and sat there and all there went out the
- 22:45Speaker 1: tires and the fuel congealed in the gas tank. And
- 22:49Speaker 1: he came into my office one day and said, if
- 22:51Speaker 1: you can get that out of my driveway, I'll give
- 22:54Speaker 1: it to you. Price is right. So we've been the
- 22:59Speaker 1: hand caring for it and levin on it since then.
- 23:02Speaker 1: And uh, and yeah, it's a it's a it's quite
- 23:04Speaker 1: a story. And yeah, we we have moved all the
- 23:08Speaker 1: old Ford Automobiles over to the Toyota dealership. And last
- 23:13Speaker 1: week after we Bill Night Automotive took over the Ford
- 23:16Speaker 1: Dealership and new Neighbors. Bill Night forward New Neighbors and
- 23:19Speaker 1: that's going really well. And we've been very, very active
- 23:22Speaker 1: at Toyota and have great selection as I mentioned before,
- 23:26Speaker 1: new vehicles of all all the models, and and great
- 23:29Speaker 1: used cars of all all prices, ranges and types of vehicles.
- 23:32Speaker 4: Well, speaking of used cars, we're looking.
- 23:35Speaker 1: For always looking to purchase those great Battlesmo cars.
- 23:39Speaker 2: They wetend love to buy a lot of the cars.
- 23:43Speaker 2: So if you have a vehicle that you're not using,
- 23:46Speaker 2: whether it's a recour or.
- 23:49Speaker 4: So many others, something.
- 23:51Speaker 2: Something else that's been used and found its time to go,
- 23:57Speaker 2: give us a call at nine three three hundred or
- 24:00Speaker 2: come down to Dungeons Toyota and talk to Brother Bruce.
- 24:04Speaker 1: Yeah, versus the buyer most of the time. And but
- 24:06Speaker 1: you know, I'm not kidding about the value of you
- 24:09Speaker 1: local cars. I mean they are Bartlesville cars are among
- 24:12Speaker 1: the best. I think. They don't we don't get a
- 24:15Speaker 1: lot of rest and stuff like they do. Jeremy came
- 24:19Speaker 1: from we have you know, you tend not to. I mean,
- 24:23Speaker 1: if you do put miles on your car, they're they're
- 24:26Speaker 1: like highwayway miles. And if you and they're they're not
- 24:30Speaker 1: so stressful in the car. And but most people frankly
- 24:33Speaker 1: don't put that many miles on, you know, or so
- 24:35Speaker 1: they tend to be low mileage, locally maintained. You kind
- 24:39Speaker 1: of love don cars and and that's what makes a
- 24:42Speaker 1: great use car. So if you've got one of those,
- 24:44Speaker 1: that definitely.
- 24:45Speaker 4: Come see us at Dungeon's Toyota.
- 24:48Speaker 2: We will buy your car, probably more than you would expect.
- 24:52Speaker 3: And so as a testimonial to the Toyota, I have
- 24:58Speaker 3: one of your Toyota camera outside. As a matter of fact,
- 25:01Speaker 3: it's a twenty fourteen and I'm up to three hundred
- 25:06Speaker 3: and thirty so awesome.
- 25:08Speaker 1: No, those things will run forever. This is this is
- 25:12Speaker 1: one of the reasons, Yeah, stuck with Toyota. They are
- 25:17Speaker 1: really great. And you know that's not that they've never
- 25:20Speaker 1: broken or something, but you know they do break. Toyota
- 25:24Speaker 1: steps up and you know, this is a difference in
- 25:28Speaker 1: that company operates.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Toyota is a very good manufacturing people, and the product
- 25:35Speaker 2: is great. The people that we work with at Toyota Corporate.
- 25:38Speaker 1: Are outstanding, awesome and definitely great partners with us and
- 25:44Speaker 1: looking to grow going forward with the Toyota brand.
- 25:48Speaker 2: We should also mention and I probably should stop by
- 25:52Speaker 2: there for the little crumple on my bumper. We have
- 25:56Speaker 2: we have a great body shop at Dungeons Toyota. We've
- 25:59Speaker 2: got how many years have.
- 26:01Speaker 4: They been in?
- 26:02Speaker 1: Over seventy years. There's a there are seven employees and
- 26:05Speaker 1: there's over seventy years of.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Experience, which is amazing because all of them are twenty
- 26:09Speaker 2: two years old. No, no, no, I'm kidding, but we
- 26:14Speaker 2: have certified technicians. I was over there the other day
- 26:19Speaker 2: watching them paint, and you know, the work that's done
- 26:23Speaker 2: just prepping to get a vehicle into the paint booth
- 26:26Speaker 2: is amazing.
- 26:27Speaker 4: And then once it goes in the booth, it goes So.
- 26:29Speaker 1: Mich On a few weeks ago, and I mean it's
- 26:32Speaker 1: there's so much to that now, so much technology in
- 26:34Speaker 1: the cars and how they're repaired, the laser frame machine
- 26:39Speaker 1: and measuring systems adas with your you know, getting your
- 26:43Speaker 1: your all your systems mind up so they make sure
- 26:46Speaker 1: the ear bags go all we need to go off
- 26:49Speaker 1: and that your safety system with all the detectors and
- 26:52Speaker 1: things out in the bumpers, you're really fixed. The next
- 26:55Speaker 1: camera is going to have some new technology.
- 26:57Speaker 2: Yeah, it's basically compewter on wheels with a middle frame
- 27:02Speaker 2: around it.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Well, it's been a great show, and I'm glad to
- 27:05Speaker 1: hear about Jeremy's story and we will definitely keep everyone
- 27:09Speaker 1: updated on Operation Apple Acchian Relief. And good luck to
- 27:13Speaker 1: you Jeremy on your travel, on your trip and be
- 27:16Speaker 1: safe and you and your team, I want to take
- 27:20Speaker 1: care of yourselves and hopefully you get to help a
- 27:23Speaker 1: lot of people. And I can't wait to hear some stories.
- 27:26Speaker 3: Yes, sir, yes, sir, I appreciate you very much, thank
