- 0:42Speaker 1: a show. And this was one of our shows, folks,
- 0:45Speaker 1: what we call our Radio Archive Hour. We do three
- 0:47Speaker 1: of them a day. One of them is featured that
- 0:48Speaker 1: you hear and see on our website and you see
- 0:51Speaker 1: in the iHeart feed. And there was another that we
- 0:55Speaker 1: do that is in a variety of different places. You
- 0:57Speaker 1: can find it on Spotify and There's different platforms, and
- 1:00Speaker 1: they are listed there on our website. I think Apple
- 1:02Speaker 1: Podcasts is one of them. We'd have to go to
- 1:04Speaker 1: the website and take a look. Did you say that, Bud? Yeah,
- 1:06Speaker 1: they have the website up right now. No, I don't actually,
- 1:09Speaker 1: but I'm pretending like I do. Where is it located?
- 1:13Speaker 1: It's underneath the player on the homepage, folks, and you'll
- 1:16Speaker 1: see it says right there, Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and iHeart. Okay,
- 1:21Speaker 1: so that's where two additional radio archive hours drop. On
- 1:29Speaker 1: those three. And then we have our featured one, which
- 1:31Speaker 1: is on our homepage and our little player there. And
- 1:34Speaker 1: you can hear that. Although every day is an adventure.
- 1:36Speaker 1: I don't know what. Well, what, you know, Phil, you've
- 1:38Speaker 1: got to be clear with the guys. I think I'm
- 1:40Speaker 1: being clear with the guys. No, they're doing a great job.
- 1:43Speaker 1: We've got a great crew there. Shane and all the guys,
- 1:45Speaker 1: thank you very much, guys. And here we are.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Welcome.
- 1:47Speaker 1: So we have today, as I mentioned, Margaret, we were
- 1:50Speaker 1: playing the Radio Archive Hour featuring you and Frank.
- 1:53Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Let me just say this. I've got to jump in.
- 1:56Speaker 1: We have not really mentioned a lot about the fact
- 1:59Speaker 1: that Jason J. Delmonico was adopted, because why? Exactly. Exactly.
- 2:03Speaker 1: We want Jason, and we have had Jason feel as
- 2:06Speaker 1: if he's a part of the family. The replay of
- 2:10Speaker 1: that hour yesterday, Phil. And where's Frank? Is Frank?
- 2:13Speaker 2: Yeah, Mr. Gray, you there? Frank Gray. Look, I'm downtown
- 2:16Speaker 2: right now. I'm still. I'm working downtown. Okay, so I've got.
- 2:21Speaker 1: Can you hear me?
- 2:22Speaker 2: I can hear you, but I'm. The Figaro office, okay?
- 2:28Speaker 1: Frank, I didn't know you had an office downtown.
- 2:30Speaker 2: Hi, Phil. I got offices everywhere.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Frank is an entertainment attorney. He does corporate law. He
- 2:36Speaker 1: does a lot.
- 2:36Speaker 2: Yeah, so I'm down here, and I got to tell
- 2:40Speaker 2: you something, Phil. Every time, because I get to show
- 2:43Speaker 2: a video feed, and you lean back in your chair
- 2:46Speaker 2: every now and again, put your hand down the pants.
- 2:48Speaker 1: It's because of the surgery that I had, man. I'm
- 2:50Speaker 1: trying to, you know, you know. Well, I'm not going
- 2:54Speaker 1: to get graphic, but yeah, I had some surgery that
- 2:56Speaker 1: requires me to adjust myself every now and again.
- 3:00Speaker 2: God damn, would it get to be the size, would
- 3:03Speaker 2: it get to be the size of that giant zucchini?
- 3:08Speaker 1: Never mind, Frank. Okay, so thanks, folks, for joining us. Frank, great.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Margaret?
- 3:12Speaker 1: Yes, Frank, you recall, maybe you didn't hear the show yesterday,
- 3:15Speaker 1: do you recall the show that we did talking about
- 3:18Speaker 1: Jason J.? and how valuable he was to us.
- 3:20Speaker 2: Yeah, of course. And Jason's here, by the way.
- 3:23Speaker 1: Well, I don't know that I approve of that.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Well, Mom, I just want to tell you that I
- 3:28Speaker 2: love you and Dad very much. I honor you very
- 3:31Speaker 2: much as a parent. And I have to tell you, too, Mom, that,
- 3:35Speaker 2: you know, in a lot of ways, you and Dad
- 3:39Speaker 2: were like finding a thick... You guys were like finding
- 3:43Speaker 2: a thick slice of roast beef in a puddle of urine.
- 3:49Speaker 1: What is that supposed to mean? All right, everybody, just stop.
- 3:54Speaker 1: Hold on for a minute, okay? Now, hold on. This
- 3:56Speaker 1: is what I was afraid of. Okay, so I'm going
- 3:58Speaker 1: to tell the audience, Margaret. I'm here, Frank, and just
- 4:03Speaker 1: hold on for a minute. Hold on, you guys. So
- 4:07Speaker 1: we had the show, and in it, Margaret described the
- 4:10Speaker 1: value of Jason. It was like finding a bologna sandwich.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Hold on, Margaret, you said it. I'm quoting the show.
- 4:15Speaker 1: It was like finding a really good, fresh bologna sandwich.
- 4:19Speaker 1: In a garbage dump, finding Jason, adopting Jason. There were
- 4:21Speaker 1: a lot of people that disagreed with Margaret in terms
- 4:23Speaker 1: of the adoption process. A lot of people said that
- 4:26Speaker 1: that is a terrible way of putting it, but that
- 4:29Speaker 1: was it. We replayed it yesterday. Margaret walked into my
- 4:32Speaker 1: office this morning. What do you mean your office, Phil?
- 4:34Speaker 1: I walked into your kitchen. Right, yeah. Anyway, she walked
- 4:39Speaker 1: into my kitchen, which is near my studio, and she said,
- 4:42Speaker 1: what did you say? I said it was Dirty Pool.
- 4:45Speaker 1: Because I think a lot of people, Frank, what did
- 4:47Speaker 1: you think?
- 4:48Speaker 2: Well, look, you know, Margaret, when we found Jason J. Delmonico,
- 4:51Speaker 2: we looked at it and we said, God, I said
- 4:54Speaker 2: it too, I said, God, look at it. It's like
- 4:57Speaker 2: we just found a thick roast beef sandwich just sitting
- 5:02Speaker 2: in a dump. I mean, sitting underneath, you said it, Margaret,
- 5:06Speaker 2: used tampons.
- 5:07Speaker 1: All right, Frank, we don't need to hear that.
- 5:08Speaker 2: My God. Hold on, hold on.
- 5:10Speaker 1: Well, why did you bring that up?
- 5:12Speaker 2: Because that's, oh my God, that's what it said, son.
- 5:15Speaker 2: It said that finding you was like finding a thick,
- 5:17Speaker 2: juicy roast beef sandwich underneath a pile of tampons. Well,
- 5:21Speaker 2: it's like, no, but that's what I said. It was
- 5:23Speaker 2: like finding you and Mom as parents was like finding
- 5:26Speaker 2: a thickly, a thick slice, you know, extra thick slice
- 5:29Speaker 2: roast beef in a puddle of urine.
- 5:31Speaker 1: All right, okay, knock it off, please. All right? Jesus,
- 5:34Speaker 1: you guys, you're going to get more tune-outs, okay? I
- 5:37Speaker 1: don't know.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I'm trying to say what I want to say, okay?
- 5:40Speaker 1: Frank, we'll get to it. Just hold on. We got
- 5:44Speaker 1: a roast beef sandwich now. It was a bologna sandwich yesterday.
- 5:48Speaker 1: I happen to like bologna sandwiches, right, Frank?
- 5:51Speaker 2: Yeah. It loves the bologna, you know. Dad, I'm your son.
- 5:56Speaker 2: You shouldn't talk dirty in front of me. I'm sorry, son.
- 5:59Speaker 1: Thank you very much, Jason, for reminding your father what
- 6:03Speaker 1: a douchebag he can be.
- 6:06Speaker 2: Oh, my God, it called me a douchebag in front
- 6:08Speaker 2: of the sun, which is sitting here listening.
- 6:10Speaker 1: Frank, just back off, all right?
- 6:13Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. Seek Heil. The Fuhrer is about to speak,
- 6:19Speaker 2: and everything.
- 6:21Speaker 1: I had to cut that clown off. Frank is my husband.
- 6:25Speaker 1: He's not a clown. All right, get him back up.
- 6:27Speaker 2: Yeah, Mr.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Gray, you can't... Yeah, no, yeah, no, no, yeah, yeah, no.
- 6:31Speaker 2: Hey, how's it going, Jason?
- 6:32Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I know. Yeah, I put it in my pants. Oh,
- 6:36Speaker 1: will you for crying out loud. You there, Frank?
- 6:38Speaker 2: I'm sitting right here. What happened to a bun?
- 6:41Speaker 1: Never mind about that, okay? Phil, you are very, very
- 6:46Speaker 1: rude this morning. I'm not being rude. You guys are
- 6:48Speaker 1: being rude. You're not allowing me to just to moderate
- 6:51Speaker 1: the damn show, okay?
- 6:53Speaker 2: Yeah, okay. Go, Van Gogh. Woo! Go, Van Gogh. Phil Henry. Go,
- 6:59Speaker 2: Van Gogh. Phil Henry. Go, Van Gogh. How about that?
- 7:02Speaker 2: We call you Go, Van Gogh.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Okay. You just cut him off again. He's babbling.
- 7:07Speaker 2: Here.
- 7:08Speaker 1: Ms. Green? I'll talk. Give me the phone. Frank, yeah, Margaret,
- 7:11Speaker 1: you've got to stop. You're just like this. You're going...
- 7:15Speaker 1: Is Jason there? Jason, honey? Yeah, Mom. You know that
- 7:19Speaker 1: I love you.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Of course, Mom, I know you love me. And I
- 7:23Speaker 2: don't take offense to being, you know, like finding, you
- 7:26Speaker 2: said it was like finding a freshly wrapped piece of
- 7:29Speaker 2: hubba-bubba-bubba underneath where a dog had laid one.
- 7:36Speaker 1: I said what?
- 7:37Speaker 2: Oh, no, that's me. I said finding you and Dad
- 7:40Speaker 2: was like finding a fresh piece of hubba-bubba-bubba-bubba gum underneath
- 7:44Speaker 2: where a dog had just laid a dog loaf.
- 7:48Speaker 1: Okay, well, thank you. Never mind.
- 7:53Speaker 2: Oh, see, it's laughing now, Mark. I know it.
- 7:55Speaker 1: I mean, I know he is. All right, listen. Jason,
- 7:58Speaker 1: I'm going to start with Jason, and you two just please...
- 8:01Speaker 1: You two? Yeah. Jason, how you doing? It's Phil Henry. Yes, Mr.
- 8:05Speaker 2: Henry, I'm doing very fine, sir.
- 8:06Speaker 1: Okay. Jason, by the way, congratulations on all the success
- 8:09Speaker 1: you've had, both as a young actor and athletically. I
- 8:12Speaker 1: know you're... playing football and are you getting ready for
- 8:15Speaker 1: a new season?
- 8:16Speaker 2: Yes, sir. We're going to get ready. We're probably going
- 8:19Speaker 2: to play Scumbag High. I can't tell you the name
- 8:22Speaker 2: of the school because they're going to get me. We
- 8:24Speaker 2: just call them Scumbag High on account of they're our
- 8:27Speaker 2: main rival.
- 8:27Speaker 1: Okay. He said he can't say.
- 8:30Speaker 2: I can't do it on account of that I would
- 8:32Speaker 2: get sued.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Alright, never mind. Jason, I want to talk to you
- 8:34Speaker 1: about the show that we aired. You're an adopted young man.
- 8:37Speaker 1: There's a great many young people. There's a great many
- 8:39Speaker 1: kids that have been adopted. Some of them are obviously
- 8:42Speaker 1: grown adults. Some have lived full lives and passed on.
- 8:45Speaker 1: And fortunate they are, many, to find a good family.
- 8:49Speaker 1: How do you feel about that?
- 8:51Speaker 2: Well, like I said, Mr. Turner, I think I know
- 8:53Speaker 2: how lucky I've been to have mom and dad. You know,
- 8:57Speaker 2: I was born into a family of Jason, would you mind?
- 9:20Speaker 2: Don't make it sound like it's going to make me
- 9:22Speaker 2: sound like I'm something that you wipe. Jason's going to
- 9:25Speaker 2: make it sound like I'm something you find on a
- 9:27Speaker 2: toilet seat. I'm not going to say that, Dad. I
- 9:30Speaker 2: was just going to say, finding Mom and Dad as parents, yeah,
- 9:33Speaker 2: I was fortunate. It was like I was walking through
- 9:39Speaker 2: a cow pasture, one turd after the next, and then
- 9:42Speaker 2: all of a sudden sitting there up on top of
- 9:44Speaker 2: the turd was a diamond ring, and that's my Mom
- 9:47Speaker 2: and Dad.
- 9:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Thank you very much, son.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So you're walking... Say that again? Margaret, you sure you
- 9:52Speaker 1: want to hear it? Yeah, Margaret, why even... Why... just
- 9:54Speaker 1: pound it in. What did you say, Jason?
- 9:57Speaker 2: I said when I found you and Dad, or you
- 9:59Speaker 2: found me, or we found we, you know. Found we?
- 10:04Speaker 2: Did you hear what it just said? Doesn't it go
- 10:06Speaker 2: to school?
- 10:07Speaker 1: Frank.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 10:08Speaker 1: Frank, just.
- 10:09Speaker 2: I said, I was walking through, like, I was in
- 10:13Speaker 2: the astral plane. I had not yet, I had not
- 10:16Speaker 2: yet not been born yet. And I'm walking along in
- 10:19Speaker 2: an astral plane.
- 10:19Speaker 1: What do you mean an astral plane?
- 10:22Speaker 2: It's like an extra-dimensional plane where we are before we're born.
- 10:27Speaker 1: This is some wild stuff he's been reading. Go ahead, Jason.
- 10:30Speaker 2: And so I'm walking along, and suddenly I see, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 2: I'm in a cow pasture, and it's one turd after
- 10:37Speaker 2: the next, one puddle of cow urine after the next.
- 10:40Speaker 2: you know, and cow farts. And then all of a sudden,
- 10:44Speaker 2: there's a big, high-stack cow turd that probably a bull
- 10:47Speaker 2: just let loose. And it's stacked up about three, four,
- 10:50Speaker 2: five feet high. And then, and then, and then, and then,
- 10:55Speaker 2: I'm down, son. And then all of a sudden, on
- 10:58Speaker 2: top of it, I see a diamond ring. That's mom
- 11:00Speaker 2: and dad, the diamond ring, what I found.
- 11:02Speaker 1: I like the imagery. I have to ask you a question.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 11:06Speaker 1: Okay. What did you have to do to get the
- 11:08Speaker 1: diamond ring?
- 11:09Speaker 2: Well, that's just it. I had to put plastic over
- 11:11Speaker 2: my shoes, and I had to put plastic over my hands,
- 11:15Speaker 2: and I had to kind of wade in, and I
- 11:17Speaker 2: had to buy new pants. But I got the diamond ring. Oh,
- 11:21Speaker 2: my God. So, in other words, to find your mother
- 11:23Speaker 2: and I, you said that you had to roll your
- 11:26Speaker 2: pants up, put on boots, put on gloves.
- 11:29Speaker 1: Did it ever occur to you, Jason, that It might
- 11:35Speaker 1: be not the greatest thing to say that we were
- 11:37Speaker 1: a diamond ring found on top of a cow turd.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Well, I mean, what I'm saying, Mom and Dad, is
- 11:43Speaker 2: that the two of you went through a lot. The
- 11:45Speaker 2: two of you went, you figuratively, you was ingested by
- 11:49Speaker 2: a cow and then crapped out. and you still retain
- 11:54Speaker 2: the diamondness of you. But even though you're a diamond ring,
- 11:57Speaker 2: people in the world out here didn't recognize your value,
- 12:00Speaker 2: and they went, uh, and they just threw you into
- 12:03Speaker 2: a cow field, and a cow ate you, and then
- 12:05Speaker 2: just let it go, and there you were, just on
- 12:09Speaker 2: top of the thickest, biggest pile of cow.
- 12:12Speaker 1: I get it already.
- 12:13Speaker 2: I said... I mean, I've listened to my son, Mr. Henry,
- 12:17Speaker 2: talk about me and his mother like we're nothing more
- 12:20Speaker 2: than something that, like we're just something laying around out
- 12:25Speaker 2: there in the world that a cow looks at and goes,
- 12:28Speaker 2: I might as well eat it because there ain't much
- 12:30Speaker 2: to eat around here. He eats us and then says, oh,
- 12:34Speaker 2: I've got to take a dump, squeezes us out.
- 12:37Speaker 1: Do you understand what Frank's saying? No, I don't understand,
- 12:40Speaker 1: and I don't see any reason for you guys to
- 12:42Speaker 1: get upset.
- 12:42Speaker 2: God, Mom, I'm talking about how valuable you are.
- 12:46Speaker 1: I know you're talking about that, Jason. But you're saying, essentially,
- 12:50Speaker 1: even though we were a diamond ring, we were of
- 12:52Speaker 1: no value to anyone until you came along, had to
- 12:55Speaker 1: put on boots and gloves... Were you wearing a mask?
- 12:58Speaker 2: Well, yeah, I had to put a clothes peg over
- 13:00Speaker 2: my nose, too.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So you had to put a clothes peg over your nose, boots, masks,
- 13:05Speaker 1: protective gear, to get us off the high pile of
- 13:08Speaker 1: a cow....
- 13:10Speaker 2: Of a cow turd.
- 13:11Speaker 1: Margaret, sit down. You're overheating. Of a cow turd.
- 13:16Speaker 2: Yes, so in other words, even though we're a diamond ring,
- 13:19Speaker 2: your mother and I, who cares? A cow ate us,
- 13:22Speaker 2: and it was only pure luck... pure luck indeed that
- 13:26Speaker 2: the cow squeezed one off and we happened to be
- 13:29Speaker 2: the last thing that dropped out of its rectum.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Well if you want to look at it that way
- 13:35Speaker 1: phil henry's laughing folks i'm smiling that's uh frank you
- 13:38Speaker 1: have a way a wonderful way of putting things.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I'm not trying to make you laugh mr henry i'm
- 13:42Speaker 2: trying to let you know did you hear what i
- 13:44Speaker 2: just said i said that we were the last thing
- 13:46Speaker 2: that a cow let go out of.
- 13:47Speaker 1: Its ass In the eyes of our son.
- 13:52Speaker 2: Well, if you guys don't see a compliment when you
- 13:55Speaker 2: see one, and you don't hear a compliment when you
- 13:57Speaker 2: see one, or the see the.
- 14:00Speaker 1: We don't hear a compliment when we hear one.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know what to say.
- 14:03Speaker 1: We know you love us, Jason.
- 14:04Speaker 2: Look, Jason, we know you love us, but it's painful
- 14:07Speaker 2: the way you put things. Well, how do you think
- 14:09Speaker 2: I felt? When you said adopting me was like finding
- 14:13Speaker 2: a perfectly good bologna sandwich laying in the middle of
- 14:17Speaker 2: a garbage pit. That's what you said.
- 14:19Speaker 1: I did because you were. You were perfect in every way.
- 14:23Speaker 1: You had... I don't want to talk to you about
- 14:25Speaker 1: the world you came from.
- 14:26Speaker 2: I know you said my mom was a crack whore.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I don't know if it was... I shouldn't have said that.
- 14:31Speaker 2: Margaret, you didn't say that. Margaret, why do you let
- 14:33Speaker 2: these things... Why do you let it know these things?
- 14:35Speaker 2: You know it can't take the truth.
- 14:37Speaker 1: Why do you say it can't take the truth?
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I can take the truth, Dad, if I come
- 14:41Speaker 2: from those kind of circumstances that I did.
- 14:44Speaker 1: You know, Jason, I want to say something. You're taking
- 14:47Speaker 1: the fact that you're an adopted young man way better
- 14:49Speaker 1: than your parents are taking the fact that you, in
- 14:52Speaker 1: many ways, adopted them. What is that supposed to mean?
- 14:54Speaker 1: You heard what I said.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Hey, come on, General. I'm an adult man. I'm a
- 14:59Speaker 2: fully grown man, a successful attorney, and you're telling me
- 15:03Speaker 2: that it's saying it's taking it better than I can? God,
- 15:06Speaker 2: it sounds, dude, another thing, that sounds almost quasi-sexual, saying
- 15:10Speaker 2: it's taking it better than me.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Do you mind, Frank? That's our son.
- 15:13Speaker 2: All right, I'm sorry. God damn, Dad. I'm saying that
- 15:16Speaker 2: Mom and Dad are great.
- 15:17Speaker 1: You love your parents.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Who's this?
- 15:19Speaker 1: Mr. Hendry.
- 15:20Speaker 2: Oh, sorry, yes, sir. Of course I love my parents.
- 15:22Speaker 2: I love them very dearly.
- 15:24Speaker 1: And you find yourself, you feel you were lucky to
- 15:26Speaker 1: find them.
- 15:27Speaker 2: Yes, I was. And as I said, I found them,
- 15:31Speaker 2: you know, like my dad said it, they were the
- 15:33Speaker 2: last thing that a cow dropped out of its ass.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Would you watch your language, please?
- 15:38Speaker 2: Well, it's true, Mom. You and Dad were the last
- 15:41Speaker 2: thing a cow squeezed off before it went off and
- 15:44Speaker 2: had a nap. God damn.
- 15:48Speaker 1: Well, are you happy? What do you mean, am I happy?
- 15:50Speaker 1: You're the one that brought up these analogies, Margaret. Oh,
- 15:53Speaker 1: my God, this is Phil. What do you mean, are
- 15:54Speaker 1: you happy? Well, Margaret, he's right. You just said she, he. Yeah,
- 15:58Speaker 1: you did, Mr. Greer.
- 15:59Speaker 2: You almost spelled Mr. Henry as she.
- 16:01Speaker 1: Anyway, I think that discussion has gone on long enough.
- 16:05Speaker 1: The three of you love each other, we know that.
- 16:08Speaker 1: You resent the comparisons to bologna sandwich, a big thick
- 16:11Speaker 1: roast beef sandwich laying in cow urine, and a diamond
- 16:15Speaker 1: ring was the last thing that a cow crapped out
- 16:17Speaker 1: of its ass before it had a nap.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty much it. Thanks a lot. Thanks very much, son.
- 16:22Speaker 2: You know, I love you, your mother loves you, and
- 16:25Speaker 2: look what it did, Mr.
- 16:26Speaker 1: Henry.
- 16:26Speaker 2: It's loved more than any boy in the world, and
- 16:28Speaker 2: it just sunk a knife right into my back. Oh, Dad,
- 16:32Speaker 2: I did not go.
- 16:33Speaker 1: Being compared to a... Margaret, you're a diamond ring. Just
- 16:37Speaker 1: let it lie.
- 16:38Speaker 2: There, okay?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Phil, as it lies there, it's an account.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, it's lying there, Mr. Henry, on top of cow loaf. Goddamn,
- 16:48Speaker 2: big and soft.
- 16:49Speaker 1: Thanks a lot, Frank and Jason J. You just hung
- 16:53Speaker 1: up on my husband and my son. That's right. That's
- 16:55Speaker 1: what I did. Because this conversation, as your very dear
- 16:59Speaker 1: and wonderful and warm husband said... I think he said it,
- 17:02Speaker 1: has gone on long enough. I don't think he said that.
- 17:05Speaker 1: Somebody did say it.
- 17:07Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:09Speaker 1: So, all right, you were talking during the pre-show about
- 17:12Speaker 1: some of the people that you were on 9-1-1 with. Right,
- 17:14Speaker 1: and I'm not going to mention any names, okay? Well, Phil,
- 17:17Speaker 1: you mentioned it to the pre-show audience. I did, because
- 17:19Speaker 1: they're my subscribers. Wow, what a what? Yeah, I mean,
- 17:25Speaker 1: I know there's subscribers and everything. That's right. They're my
- 17:28Speaker 1: subscribers now. They subscribe to the website, they subscribe to philhenryshow.com,
- 17:33Speaker 1: and yes, I share information with them that I didn't share,
- 17:36Speaker 1: and I will not share with the audience. Never? Yeah,
- 17:39Speaker 1: I will eventually, yes. But there's some value to having
- 17:43Speaker 1: a subscription to the website, and one of those little
- 17:45Speaker 1: perks is hearing the inside scoop on the stuff we
- 17:48Speaker 1: were doing. We were on the show 9-1-1, if you
- 17:50Speaker 1: guys are joining us. I did three episodes of 9-1-1.
- 17:52Speaker 1: They're going to be rolling out. I think the first
- 17:54Speaker 1: one aired last week. I will say that I had
- 17:57Speaker 1: a fantastic time working with really great people. And one
- 18:02Speaker 1: of the scenes was a very dramatic scene. I feel
- 18:05Speaker 1: I did a good job, and everybody said I did. And, what,
- 18:08Speaker 1: you think you'll get an Emmy? Yeah, maybe I'll get
- 18:10Speaker 1: an Emmy. You're kidding, right? Yes, I'm kidding. Anyway, it
- 18:15Speaker 1: was a really, really positive, and I think a breakthrough
- 18:17Speaker 1: experience for me as an actor. Yeah. Yeah, that's it
- 18:21Speaker 1: right there. Quit being humble and lay.
- 18:25Speaker 2: It out there.
- 18:26Speaker 1: All right, Phil, so that's very, very good. But you don't,
- 18:29Speaker 1: you know, I write a column. Margaret, I'll tell you
- 18:31Speaker 1: all about it when the show ends. Okay, because, you know,
- 18:34Speaker 1: I write the column A Little Bird Told Me, and
- 18:37Speaker 1: I don't tell people where I got the information. Well,
- 18:39Speaker 1: that's dumb, because people are going to know, what did
- 18:41Speaker 1: you just call me? Margaret, look, if you write down
- 18:44Speaker 1: what Phil tells you, people are going to know where
- 18:46Speaker 1: it came from, because they're hearing him talking about it now. No,
- 18:49Speaker 1: they aren't, because Phil isn't saying the specifics he's going
- 18:52Speaker 1: to give to me. Yeah, but Margaret, if you mention
- 18:54Speaker 1: the show 9-1-1... and you mention the stuff that I
- 18:56Speaker 1: tell you... Oh, I see what you.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah, you know.
- 18:59Speaker 1: Go ahead, yeah. Yeah? What about it? Nothing, nothing, ma'am.
- 19:02Speaker 1: Nothing at all. Uh-huh. Look, you guys are getting a
- 19:05Speaker 1: little loose around here with the compliments and the insults.
- 19:08Speaker 1: Do you think I'm so dumb, Phil, that I'm going
- 19:11Speaker 1: to go ahead and just spill it all out there
- 19:13Speaker 1: like the little Kintner boy in the dark? Margaret, people
- 19:16Speaker 1: are going to know. I know people are going to know.
- 19:18Speaker 1: So what are you going to do? I don't know. I'll...
- 19:21Speaker 1: I'll use code, you know, things like that. I'll say...
- 19:25Speaker 1: A guy that I know, and he's a great, and
- 19:27Speaker 1: he does a podcast, and he did a show, and
- 19:30Speaker 1: it's about first responders in L.A., and, you know, some
- 19:35Speaker 1: of the co-stars he got to work with, and, in fact,
- 19:39Speaker 1: got to work with them one-on-one during three 13-hour shoot days.
- 19:44Speaker 1: All right, Margaret, that's enough.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Thank you.
- 19:46Speaker 1: If you want to put that in your column, fine,
- 19:49Speaker 1: as long as you're not using that. if you don't mind, okay? Yeah, sure.
- 19:52Speaker 1: Did you use names in the pre-show? Yes, I did. Margaret, hey,
- 19:56Speaker 1: what can I tell you? I'm the guy with the information,
- 19:59Speaker 1: and you got the information. I'm just asking you as
- 20:02Speaker 1: a friend not to publish it right away. Yeah. What's that? Nothing.
- 20:08Speaker 1: What did you say, Mark? We can't hear. Ms. Gray,
- 20:10Speaker 1: what did you say? She's doing it on purpose. I
- 20:13Speaker 1: said yes, okay. World-famous Phil Hendry Show at philhendryshow.com. Here
- 20:18Speaker 1: from Sierra Madre's beautiful Ted Bell Canyon. And it's been
- 20:23Speaker 1: a phenomenal, phenomenal summer. God, what a great summer. And
- 20:27Speaker 1: we did a couple episodes of the paper. And, you know,
- 20:30Speaker 1: I came back to California more than anything else so
- 20:32Speaker 1: that I could move closer to town and and not
- 20:36Speaker 1: have to be flying across the country to do gigs
- 20:39Speaker 1: or driving two hours in from LA, in from El Pacifico,
- 20:43Speaker 1: you know, at Channel Islands Beach. And so I don't
- 20:46Speaker 1: think that's a crazy thing. No, it's not a crazy
- 20:48Speaker 1: thing at all. It's just, you know, when you're making
- 20:50Speaker 1: a topic of conversation and going, yeah, you know, I
- 20:54Speaker 1: never did that. Well, you do. Sometimes, Phil, you'll talk about, yes,
- 20:57Speaker 1: and another thing, I did a TV show. Yeah, you know. Yeah,
- 21:01Speaker 1: you'll kind of lay back and sort of like spread
- 21:04Speaker 1: your legs like you just, you know, You're doing the
- 21:06Speaker 1: whole manspread? I don't do a manspread, and you know that. Well,
- 21:11Speaker 1: it seems like when you talk about it, like talking
- 21:13Speaker 1: about the show 9-1-1, it's like you're going, yeah, you're going,
- 21:18Speaker 1: all right, yeah. No, it ain't like I'm doing that,
- 21:21Speaker 1: and I don't manspread, and you guys know it. Oh,
- 21:24Speaker 1: my God. Phil, that's what it sounds like. No, I
- 21:28Speaker 1: don't think it sounds that way. I think you guys
- 21:29Speaker 1: are just trying to give me a hard time. Okay,
- 21:31Speaker 1: so it's been a great summer, I should say. Oh,
- 21:35Speaker 1: did I tell you about the dinner that we had
- 21:37Speaker 1: last week? I had dinner with my three buddies. Now,
- 21:39Speaker 1: this is something. Four of you guys went to a
- 21:44Speaker 1: wine tasting? It was here in Arcadia in our hometown
- 21:47Speaker 1: over at the Derby restaurant. They had the Paso Robles wines.
- 21:51Speaker 1: They had Napa wines. And we thought it would be fun.
- 21:54Speaker 1: And it was. We met a couple of really great people.
- 21:56Speaker 1: They sat different people at tables. I'm not the biggest
- 22:00Speaker 1: wine drinker in the world, but it was great. The
- 22:02Speaker 1: only problem with it was outside. It was kind of hot.
- 22:04Speaker 1: But you did have a good time. What kind of wines?
- 22:07Speaker 1: You know, they had a Cabernet. Nobody knows what he's
- 22:10Speaker 1: talking about with this wine thing. I want to know.
- 22:12Speaker 1: What kind of wines? Cabernet Sauvignon, a Merlot. There was
- 22:16Speaker 1: a Rosé. Was there a good selection of the reds?
- 22:21Speaker 1: Did they have the Cabernet Sauvignon? You said Sauvignon Blanc.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Oh, I'm sorry.
- 22:24Speaker 1: It was Sauvignon Blanc, yeah.
- 22:26Speaker 2: Blanc, Blanc.
- 22:27Speaker 1: What did you call it? I said Sauvignon Blanc. It's
- 22:29Speaker 1: Sauvignon Blanc. Blanc. Goddamn, Margaret. Say that one more time,
- 22:35Speaker 1: and vomit will just come flying right out of... Excuse me. Nothing, nothing. Seven,
- 22:40Speaker 1: you and what? Seven, you and what? It sounds like...
- 22:43Speaker 1: It sounds like you're gagging on one. Oh, boy. Hey,
- 22:47Speaker 1: wait a minute.
- 22:47Speaker 2: Wait, wait, wait.
- 22:48Speaker 1: Bud, get out of here. Just one more step, and
- 22:54Speaker 1: I would have had it.
- 22:58Speaker 2: Oh.
- 22:59Speaker 1: You find that funny, don't you? Yeah, he said this...
- 23:01Speaker 1: When you go like that, Margaret, yeah, it did sound
- 23:03Speaker 1: like you were... Never mind. World-famous Phil Henry show, executive
