- 0:00Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya rap An iHeartRadio podcast.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Hello everybody, we are scrubbing in.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Scrub a dub dum.
- 0:14Speaker 2: We're back on a Wednesday.
- 0:16Speaker 1: Yes, I do have to apologize because Monday's originally scheduled programming.
- 0:24Speaker 1: I worked from home. I wasn't feeling well. I went
- 0:27Speaker 1: down over the weekend, and in an abundance of caution,
- 0:31Speaker 1: I decided not to come into the studio, which felt
- 0:33Speaker 1: respectful to others.
- 0:34Speaker 3: It was respectful, and honestly, it was a gift, not
- 0:37Speaker 3: that you being sick was a gift, but a gift
- 0:40Speaker 3: to have the three day weekend because I was like, Okay,
- 0:42Speaker 3: we're going to do it early, so I'll have the
- 0:43Speaker 3: rest of the day. It's an easy low lift getting
- 0:46Speaker 3: to hang with my friends and the stew but it
- 0:49Speaker 3: was so nice to just not do anything.
- 0:53Speaker 2: I quite enjoyed it. But I'm I'm sorry you were sick. Yeah.
- 0:57Speaker 2: Are you feeling better? Yes? Full recovery has been.
- 0:59Speaker 4: Made, I'd say ninety percent recovery.
- 1:02Speaker 1: In the mornings, I'm still a little like not my
- 1:04Speaker 1: best undred percent self, but like during the day, I'm
- 1:07Speaker 1: totally fine.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Who took you down? I'm not sure who.
- 1:10Speaker 1: Took me down, and I'm not sure, like I don't
- 1:13Speaker 1: know if you do this when you get sick, but
- 1:14Speaker 1: like try and pinpoint the like who gave it to you?
- 1:16Speaker 2: When and where? I think. I just kind of do
- 1:19Speaker 2: like a kind of drive by in my head.
- 1:22Speaker 3: Who did I see? How are they doing? Was I
- 1:26Speaker 3: in a crowded space? And then I let it go
- 1:29Speaker 3: because it doesn't matter.
- 1:31Speaker 1: Yeah, I go like in where I try to like
- 1:33Speaker 1: figure it out, but I'm constantly around people, so it's
- 1:36Speaker 1: like impossible.
- 1:37Speaker 2: You're around people more than anyone I know.
- 1:39Speaker 4: Yes, and I'm going and then.
- 1:42Speaker 2: Correct. Yeah.
- 1:43Speaker 1: Yeah, so I didn't really get to the bottom of
- 1:46Speaker 1: where I got this thing.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Like you're in spaces where people are just like sweating
- 1:50Speaker 3: and like engulfed in their sweat.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, in hot rooms.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Hm, successful of germs daily daily.
- 2:00Speaker 4: So I up and a little bit about me. Oh
- 2:03Speaker 4: you better believe that.
- 2:04Speaker 5: Now.
- 2:04Speaker 1: I'm like, I have my wellness, I have my quick defense,
- 2:07Speaker 1: I have my bee keepers spray. Then I have spraying.
- 2:10Speaker 1: I'm gonna do it every day now. Another friend of
- 2:13Speaker 1: mine sent me some pills that she gets from Whole
- 2:15Speaker 1: Foods that are like wellness pill in this formula, and I'm.
- 2:19Speaker 4: Going to be taking that daily.
- 2:22Speaker 5: Is the I take.
- 2:25Speaker 1: I think it is well in this formula. It's like
- 2:27Speaker 1: a white and teal tub.
- 2:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 2: I'm going to get some of that today.
- 2:31Speaker 3: Uh yeah, that's good because I was thinking we got
- 2:34Speaker 3: to keep you.
- 2:35Speaker 2: We have a month. We're in a month less than
- 2:37Speaker 2: a month.
- 2:38Speaker 1: Yes, I do understand this weekend how much we had
- 2:40Speaker 1: on our to do list and we got to fifty
- 2:43Speaker 1: percent of it.
- 2:44Speaker 3: It's okay, it's still there, so you got to figure
- 2:48Speaker 3: out another time to do it.
- 2:49Speaker 2: We have not going anywhere two.
- 2:51Speaker 1: Hour zoom meeting on Saturday, and that was the day
- 2:53Speaker 1: where I was like at my worst.
- 2:56Speaker 6: You know what, I think you need to process that
- 3:00Speaker 6: everything might not go perfectly and that's fine. I know
- 3:04Speaker 6: she doesn't. But like before we turn the mics down,
- 3:06Speaker 6: there was a whole thing about when her period's coming,
- 3:08Speaker 6: and it's going to come that day or the day
- 3:10Speaker 6: before or the day after. You know what, you gotta
- 3:12Speaker 6: let go.
- 3:13Speaker 4: Let go like God, that's it.
- 3:14Speaker 2: Some stuff not fong to go perfectly, yeah, like God,
- 3:17Speaker 2: like let flow like God.
- 3:20Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, it's true, but that is something you struggle
- 3:24Speaker 3: with in many areas.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Oh my gosh, it's like my letting go of control.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Yes, it's like my biggest character flaw. It's a part
- 3:31Speaker 2: of me. It's a bit of me. Yeah. But we are.
- 3:35Speaker 3: We are in the less than a month countdown, Helen,
- 3:38Speaker 3: I go, I live in four weeks since she goes
- 3:40Speaker 3: three weeks.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I was like four and I tried to do
- 3:43Speaker 2: it and she was like three.
- 3:45Speaker 6: So it's coming up fast now. Yeah, January took six months,
- 3:50Speaker 6: but February has been a blink of.
- 3:54Speaker 2: It's always like that.
- 3:55Speaker 3: How like when we get to the wedding, when we
- 3:58Speaker 3: leave for the wedding day destination, do you feel like
- 4:02Speaker 3: everything's gonna be ready and good?
- 4:04Speaker 4: At that point?
- 4:05Speaker 1: By the time I leave to go to my wedding,
- 4:08Speaker 1: I am relinquishing.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Oh I am.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I am doing this my hands and I am done.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Wow mm hmm. But when we get that point, I
- 4:19Speaker 2: am just enjoying. But when we get there, isn't there
- 4:22Speaker 2: stuff to be done? Or no? Nope? Wow?
- 4:24Speaker 6: Wow?
- 4:24Speaker 2: Not by me? Well we did you on? Not by me?
- 4:32Speaker 3: On Gallentine's Day we went for was that the final
- 4:35Speaker 3: dress fitting for my Yeah?
- 4:36Speaker 2: For my wedding dress?
- 4:37Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, and the reception dress fitting. Yep, you guys,
- 4:42Speaker 3: Tanya's outfits. You're gonna You're gonna love. The people are
- 4:46Speaker 3: gonna love.
- 4:47Speaker 2: Thank you, Yeah, thank you so much.
- 4:49Speaker 1: I like, I put on my dress for the last
- 4:51Speaker 1: time and I was just like sobbing, and I'm like.
- 4:53Speaker 4: How am I going to get through my wedding?
- 4:55Speaker 1: Like I'm in a tailor's shop, it's raining outside. I
- 4:59Speaker 1: put this dress on and I'm literally sobbing.
- 5:03Speaker 6: So you don't get through your wedding, that's okay, you
- 5:05Speaker 6: can cry all the way through.
- 5:07Speaker 2: I think I'm going too.
- 5:08Speaker 6: I did.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Yeah, I think I'm going to because I was like,
- 5:12Speaker 1: there's nothing romantic about the situation that we're in right now.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Everybody's wet, it's rainy, and I'm just like full sobbing.
- 5:21Speaker 2: I wonder though, because of the adrenaline and.
- 5:28Speaker 3: Like you being overwhelmed, I wonder if it'll almost stifle
- 5:32Speaker 3: the flow or it'll either like enhance the flow or
- 5:35Speaker 3: it'll stifle the flow.
- 5:37Speaker 1: When I'm very much hoping that doesn't happen to me,
- 5:39Speaker 1: and I'm gonna have to like really be proactive about
- 5:42Speaker 1: not letting myself go. There is the timeline because In
- 5:47Speaker 1: this two hour meeting that I had with my wedding planner,
- 5:49Speaker 1: A lot of it is timing of the day of
- 5:52Speaker 1: What time do you want your hair makeup to be done?
- 5:54Speaker 1: When do you want your photos with your family versus
- 5:56Speaker 1: your bridesmaids versusa. Do you want your bridesmaids going to
- 5:58Speaker 1: cocktail hour? Do you want them with you?
- 6:00Speaker 2: Blah blah blah.
- 6:00Speaker 1: I'm hoping that, like I'm not so in the like
- 6:04Speaker 1: timing of everything in my head that I'm actually able
- 6:07Speaker 1: to just like enjoy it.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Well, that's why you have a wedding planer who has
- 6:12Speaker 3: the timing, so that you can let go of having
- 6:14Speaker 3: to keep track and let someone else do it and
- 6:17Speaker 3: U it's like be the ones who keep track of.
- 6:21Speaker 1: That the timing. Yeah, yeah, that's what I'm hoping.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So go ahead and just really god yeah, yeah. We
- 6:30Speaker 3: were talking about earlier at that before we started the
- 6:33Speaker 3: period thing, because you were very concerned that it was
- 6:36Speaker 3: going to fall on your wedding your start date.
- 6:39Speaker 2: Yes, which could still happen.
- 6:41Speaker 1: I could very much be getting my period the day
- 6:43Speaker 1: of my wedding. What are the odds, Like, literally, what's
- 6:47Speaker 1: the odds?
- 6:47Speaker 2: What's what's the percentage in that.
- 6:50Speaker 6: I suppose that's crazy.
- 6:52Speaker 5: I think it's beautiful, Like, what a beautiful celebration of womanhood.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Right, it's very on brand. It's very on brand.
- 7:00Speaker 6: This is right. Anything that does go quote unquote wrong
- 7:03Speaker 6: you can spin as positive if you were in the
- 7:05Speaker 6: mindset to do so.
- 7:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:07Speaker 1: A girlfriend of mine also was on her period of
- 7:08Speaker 1: her wedding, and she said she bled through her her
- 7:12Speaker 1: her pajamas that she got like her getting ready outfit
- 7:14Speaker 1: in bled completely through it.
- 7:16Speaker 4: I was like, at least it was that ye could
- 7:18Speaker 4: you imagine?
- 7:19Speaker 2: Yeah? I no, that would send me. Yeah. I was like,
- 7:23Speaker 2: let me tell you.
- 7:23Speaker 4: If anything, I'm going to be prepared.
- 7:25Speaker 1: I'm gonna have this super super jumbo tampons, big old
- 7:29Speaker 1: paddle over there because there's so much space, is there?
- 7:34Speaker 4: Yeah, isn't there bell dress?
- 7:37Speaker 2: No, it's not.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Bell, but it's not like a tight little silky thing.
- 7:43Speaker 1: If I'm on my period, I'm going to have some
- 7:45Speaker 1: sort of secondary.
- 7:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 7:47Speaker 2: No, I think that's catcher down there.
- 7:52Speaker 4: For sure.
- 7:54Speaker 2: How is Valentine's Day?
- 7:56Speaker 4: Well, uh, maybe we should start with yours.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I mean mine was pretty reallyed. Haley had
- 8:03Speaker 3: to work all day. We were originally going to do
- 8:06Speaker 3: a spot day on Friday and then do dinner. She
- 8:09Speaker 3: ended up having to work, so we had pushed everything
- 8:12Speaker 3: and that. So she was in her office working and
- 8:17Speaker 3: then our groceries were delivered and so I was putting
- 8:20Speaker 3: them away because it was stuff that needed to go
- 8:21Speaker 3: in the fridge, and there was a roast which she's
- 8:25Speaker 3: never made, and I was I knew she was cooking
- 8:28Speaker 3: for me that night, or actually I thought we were
- 8:30Speaker 3: doing takeout because we were like, let's just have a
- 8:31Speaker 3: cozy night in. She was like, I have to work
- 8:34Speaker 3: all day. So I see the roast and I'm like, oh,
- 8:36Speaker 3: is she going to try and cook a roast? Cause
- 8:38Speaker 3: that's my favorite meal that my mom mays yeah, And
- 8:41Speaker 3: so I'm always like, oh, she's always like, oh, if
- 8:43Speaker 3: you could have one meal before you die, what would
- 8:45Speaker 3: it be. And I'm like, Oh, my mom's roast. So
- 8:47Speaker 3: it's like, oh, she's going to make me a roast.
- 8:49Speaker 3: Then I found out so she's doing this. She's having
- 8:52Speaker 3: these huge meetings like in the kitchen and she's like
- 8:56Speaker 3: putting the roast in the pod like trying to like
- 8:59Speaker 3: talk and also do this stop.
- 9:00Speaker 2: On Zoo with video. Yeah, oh geez.
- 9:03Speaker 3: And and then I found out she called my mom
- 9:07Speaker 3: and got my mom's rest because my mom makes roasts
- 9:09Speaker 3: different than anyone, like everyone who makes a roast, it's
- 9:12Speaker 3: always different than how my mom did it. And so yeah,
- 9:15Speaker 3: she called and got the instructions from my mom and
- 9:17Speaker 3: made a roast and it was it was so good,
- 9:20Speaker 3: and it was like, so she was so thoughtful, so thoughtful,
- 9:24Speaker 3: and yeah, and then yeah, it was good. And then
- 9:29Speaker 3: on over the weekend we just kind of we like
- 9:31Speaker 3: went on hikes and had time, and then we did
- 9:33Speaker 3: the spot on Monday, which was so nice.
- 9:35Speaker 2: That is so nice, pleasant little weekend, so pleasant, so cozy.
- 9:41Speaker 4: Love it.
- 9:42Speaker 2: Why did you make that face?
- 9:43Speaker 1: And he said, let's start with yours, No, because mine
- 9:46Speaker 1: went down fast.
- 9:48Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:49Speaker 1: So like I started my day off with a nice workout.
- 9:53Speaker 2: Love that for me. In a red set, you know,
- 9:57Speaker 2: Valentine's Day.
- 9:58Speaker 1: Selflow, self, feeling good, Robbie said, be dressed and ready
- 10:04Speaker 1: at five pm.
- 10:06Speaker 4: Wear something swanky.
- 10:07Speaker 2: Swing swang.
- 10:10Speaker 3: Okay, in terms for the the youth, what is sin?
- 10:14Speaker 2: I didn't know.
- 10:15Speaker 1: I'm like, what the hell is swinky? And where are
- 10:17Speaker 1: you taking me? Is it like nice cocktail? Yeah? I
- 10:21Speaker 1: wore like a little sexy like black top with like
- 10:24Speaker 1: black slacks okay, and like a coat swank.
- 10:27Speaker 6: I felt swanky, luxurious and expensive.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Yes, yes, I was ready at four point fifty on
- 10:33Speaker 1: the dot. That's had to be ready, yes, wow or
- 10:37Speaker 1: whatever four forty nine like a minute before, thank you.
- 10:43Speaker 1: And then on our drive to the restaurant, I started
- 10:46Speaker 1: feeling like the tickle in my.
- 10:48Speaker 2: Throat on the on the drive.
- 10:50Speaker 1: And I was like, do I tell him or do
- 10:51Speaker 1: I just try and suck it up through dinner and
- 10:53Speaker 1: just like one last bang, you know, like right like
- 10:57Speaker 1: both before it takes me down. Because I wasn't feeling
- 11:00Speaker 1: horrible at that point. I was just feeling like a tickle.
- 11:02Speaker 1: So I was like, I think I have a good
- 11:04Speaker 1: one night left in me.
- 11:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I can push through it. I can push
- 11:08Speaker 2: through this.
- 11:08Speaker 1: And it was like Valentine's Day, so it was a
- 11:10Speaker 1: prefixed menu, everything was already paid for. I was like,
- 11:15Speaker 1: I'm gonna seca and then he drives me to the
- 11:18Speaker 1: place and lo and behold, it's this restaurant that we've
- 11:20Speaker 1: been like dying.
- 11:21Speaker 4: To go to. What was it dulce vita, adultce vita.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I don't know about it. It's like a hot spot.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I don't know if it's a hot spot, but it's
- 11:30Speaker 1: like has these golden doors. And we've been wanting to
- 11:32Speaker 1: go for a long time. We've had like friends tell
- 11:35Speaker 1: us how like amazing it is, and so I thought
- 11:37Speaker 1: it was cute that he like clocked it, made the
- 11:40Speaker 1: reservation and I'm like, okay, I'm going in.
- 11:44Speaker 2: They bring you a little emooge bouche or whatever, like
- 11:46Speaker 2: a little.
- 11:47Speaker 1: Champagne something when you sit down. I was like, okay,
- 11:48Speaker 1: I guess I'm drinking tonight. And then the minute they
- 11:52Speaker 1: bring out the appetizers, it's like my eyes are full blown,
- 11:55Speaker 1: like glassy, and I was like, I'm going down and
- 11:57Speaker 1: I'm going down fast. And I knew then I had
- 12:01Speaker 1: to tell him like, babe, things are happening.
- 12:05Speaker 2: When the eyes go glossy.
- 12:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and the chills came on.
- 12:08Speaker 2: Oh I know, I know.
- 12:10Speaker 1: And so he's like, okay, do you want to leave?
- 12:13Speaker 1: Do you want to go home? And I was like, like,
- 12:15Speaker 1: here'd he paid for it? Was like a fixed you know.
- 12:17Speaker 6: They they bring up.
- 12:19Speaker 2: I know, and they've all looked so good.
- 12:22Speaker 1: So I was like, you know what, no, let's stay
- 12:23Speaker 1: I'll just get like a tea and mint tea or something,
- 12:26Speaker 1: I know.
- 12:26Speaker 2: And the food was amazing, and then they were like,
- 12:32Speaker 2: do you want to see the dessert menu and he's
- 12:33Speaker 2: like no, we just need to leave. Thank you so much.
- 12:35Speaker 2: I was like so then I was like so sad.
- 12:38Speaker 2: I had this like sexy.
- 12:39Speaker 1: Lingerie picked out that I was gonna put on after dinner,
- 12:41Speaker 1: and it was like sitting in my bathroom waiting for
- 12:44Speaker 1: me to go in there and put it on. And
- 12:46Speaker 1: I just put it right back in the drawer and
- 12:48Speaker 1: that was that just.
- 12:50Speaker 2: Got folded and save for another time. Yeah.
- 12:54Speaker 1: And then from that point Friday night, I didn't leave
- 12:56Speaker 1: my bed until Monday. Yeah.
- 12:59Speaker 3: I feel like your body was like, hey I need this,
- 13:02Speaker 3: so yeah, this is the only way I can get it.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Here you go. Yeah. So that's day.
- 13:07Speaker 3: Haley and I were talking about how one birthday one
- 13:10Speaker 3: year we had she planned a spa day and dinner.
- 13:14Speaker 2: Actually it was the same same order, like small and
- 13:16Speaker 2: then dinner.
- 13:17Speaker 3: And I woke up so sick on my birthday, but
- 13:19Speaker 3: I was like, I really want to go get a massage,
- 13:22Speaker 3: like maybe it'll make me feel better. And I was
- 13:24Speaker 3: laying face down and I had snot like.
- 13:28Speaker 2: Dripping onto the floor.
- 13:29Speaker 3: Oh, and I kept having to ask the massage therapist.
- 13:32Speaker 3: I was like, I am so sorry, and I didn't
- 13:35Speaker 3: want her to know I was sick. And so she's like,
- 13:37Speaker 3: it's okay, like I'm moving a lot of stuff around,
- 13:39Speaker 3: it's really common.
- 13:40Speaker 2: I was like yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 13:42Speaker 3: So so then I'm like chills, my eyes are glassy,
- 13:46Speaker 3: my throat's like tingly, and Haley's like, do you want
- 13:49Speaker 3: to go to dinner still or do you want to
- 13:50Speaker 3: go home? I'm like, oh, like, let's go to dinner.
- 13:52Speaker 3: And I was just sitting there, like hunched over like
- 13:55Speaker 3: that feeling.
- 13:56Speaker 1: The thought of having somebody touching my skin when I'm
- 13:59Speaker 1: sick just makes me like I don't have a lot
- 14:02Speaker 1: of my clothes touching my skin when I'm sick, Like
- 14:04Speaker 1: I like, you know, like when you like your skin hurts.
- 14:06Speaker 2: Your hair, like your arm hair hurts.
- 14:08Speaker 3: Yes, yes, yeah, oh anyway, so I I relate to
- 14:13Speaker 3: that feeling.
- 14:13Speaker 2: And then when they're like do you want assert and
- 14:14Speaker 2: You're like, just.
- 14:15Speaker 4: Give me the check, yeah, I was like.
- 14:18Speaker 2: Please. Do y'all do gifts on Valentine's Day? Sometimes we do.
- 14:22Speaker 4: This year, we didn't.
- 14:23Speaker 1: We have a lot, a lot going on, so we
- 14:26Speaker 1: did not partake in in gift giving this year, but
- 14:28Speaker 1: he did start every day up.
- 14:32Speaker 4: Until our wedding day. He's giving me a letter.
- 14:34Speaker 1: Oh I saw this, Yeah, kicked it off on Valentine's
- 14:36Speaker 1: Day and so it was very very sweet.
- 14:38Speaker 4: So that's like the gift that I'm getting every day.
- 14:39Speaker 3: Oh, the gift that keeps on getting, gift that keeps
- 14:41Speaker 3: on getting till the day of the wedding.
- 14:43Speaker 2: Correct.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Wow, I feel like the one on the wedding day
- 14:46Speaker 3: is gonna be really emotional.
- 14:47Speaker 1: Oh my gosh, it's gonna be so good. They've been
- 14:50Speaker 1: really good, Like I've been actually very impressed.
- 14:52Speaker 2: Are y'all staying the night together the night before the wedding?
- 14:54Speaker 2: We are? Yeah, So that's not traditional. Let me tell
- 14:58Speaker 2: you something.
- 14:59Speaker 3: No, I know because we have talked about things that
- 15:00Speaker 3: you're doing that are traditional and then doing your own way.
- 15:03Speaker 1: Yes, So that's saying doing anything traditional except walking down
- 15:07Speaker 1: an aisle in a wedding dress, in a wedding dress
- 15:09Speaker 1: saying I do. Yeah, there's nobody that I want to
- 15:12Speaker 1: wake up to more on my wedding day than my
- 15:15Speaker 1: husband future husband.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm with you, you know, yeah, did yoll? What
- 15:20Speaker 2: did y'all? Okay, I have two questions. What did y'all
- 15:23Speaker 2: do for Valentine's Day? Ponder that?
- 15:25Speaker 3: And then did you sleep together before the wedding?
- 15:28Speaker 2: I don't think we knew each other, but ye did
- 15:30Speaker 2: y'all snuggle well on.
- 15:32Speaker 5: My wedding night. We knew each other and we did
- 15:33Speaker 5: sleep together.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Where were we?
- 15:37Speaker 5: No, no, you came to my wedding.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Then that's true. My Uh, we were separate the night
- 15:43Speaker 6: before our wedding. Yes, I didn't see her until she
- 15:46Speaker 6: walked down the aisle. Traditional thing.
- 15:48Speaker 2: I think.
- 15:48Speaker 6: I stayed with my parents in a hotel, and then
- 15:53Speaker 6: the next day, on our wedding day, in the morning,
- 15:56Speaker 6: I went with my groomsmen and we went and saw
- 15:57Speaker 6: Austin Powers three.
- 16:00Speaker 5: Right.
- 16:00Speaker 6: Wow, it was like a four PM wedding or gold Member.
- 16:02Speaker 6: We're like a ten am movie or something. Yeah, that's
- 16:05Speaker 6: my recollection. Valentine's Day was uneventful because, like most weekends,
- 16:09Speaker 6: my wife and daughter were at a dance convention, but
- 16:12Speaker 6: they left that day, so in the morning I got
- 16:14Speaker 6: them struck chocolate covered strawberries and flowers. But then they
- 16:18Speaker 6: laughed and yes, and you're a lone ranger. Yeah, but
- 16:22Speaker 6: I watched I watched some Oscar movies. It was fine, right.
- 16:26Speaker 5: I did not spend the night with my wife on
- 16:29Speaker 5: our wedding. The night before. I slept in a hotel
- 16:32Speaker 5: room with my friend Matt and it was great and
- 16:34Speaker 5: we got taco bell and we had a nice little boys.
- 16:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 16:38Speaker 1: There's something that just seems so exciting about waking up
- 16:40Speaker 1: on your wedding day, like the mini your eyes open
- 16:43Speaker 1: and you're like, get today.
- 16:47Speaker 2: Oh to you? Well, I like, I like both. I
- 16:51Speaker 2: love you like I don't.
- 16:53Speaker 3: I'm not the next time I see you, you're going
- 16:54Speaker 3: to be in a wedding gown.
- 16:56Speaker 2: Well for me, well wedding gown right or you? For
- 16:59Speaker 2: you be a tux ord.
- 17:03Speaker 3: And I liked the idea of waking up together because
- 17:06Speaker 3: you're starting a new chapter in your life together.
- 17:08Speaker 2: So I think I love both A decision to ponder.
- 17:13Speaker 2: She is not gonna want to, but I'm not gonna
- 17:16Speaker 2: sleep if.
- 17:16Speaker 3: We do that.
- 17:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I'm just like whatever.
- 17:19Speaker 2: I mean, we couldn't be less traditional.
- 17:22Speaker 5: So uh Valentine's Day, Allison and I uh exchanged gifts.
- 17:28Speaker 5: She's so good at giving gifts. She got me she
- 17:31Speaker 5: did she did it as a theme every time, and
- 17:34Speaker 5: this theme was fish. You're the only fish in the sea,
- 17:38Speaker 5: So you got me a I love. There's this tin
- 17:40Speaker 5: fish company called Fishwife that I'm really into. She got
- 17:42Speaker 5: me a big box of fish, like I'm talking sardines, anchovies,
- 17:46Speaker 5: tuna with this special lemon in it. I was really
- 17:48Speaker 5: excited about. And she got me a big sweater at
- 17:51Speaker 5: says fish Wife and has fish all over it. Oh,
- 17:52Speaker 5: she got me dark chocolate sardines. They're just startines. They
- 17:56Speaker 5: look like sardines with chocolate. I thought it was chocolated fish,
- 18:00Speaker 5: and I was disappointed that there just made a chocolate
- 18:03Speaker 5: And I got our a bunch of skims stuff. And
- 18:06Speaker 5: then we went to Disneyland that night and we had
- 18:09Speaker 5: the best time. There's like nobody there. We really had
- 18:12Speaker 5: a great time at Disneyland.
- 18:13Speaker 2: That's interesting.
- 18:13Speaker 3: I would think Disneyland on Valentine's Day on a Friday.
- 18:17Speaker 5: Yeah, we thought so too. We got there around like
- 18:19Speaker 5: seven o'clock and everyone started clearing out and there's, oh,
- 18:22Speaker 5: here's a Disneyland hack for everyone. There's a new path
- 18:25Speaker 5: they opened by teon is by you Adventure the Old
- 18:29Speaker 5: Splash Mountain. There's a little path and we met these
- 18:31Speaker 5: teens and they told us you can watch them stage
- 18:34Speaker 5: the Fantasmic show there. So it was us and like
- 18:37Speaker 5: ten of Anaheim's coolest teens watching like Prince Eric get
- 18:41Speaker 5: ready for Fantasmic. It was the most fun we've ever had.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Do they know you can see that though.
- 18:46Speaker 5: They know they're waving at us, they're giving us a
- 18:48Speaker 5: special show.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Well, I haven't been to Disneyland in a minute. I
- 18:51Speaker 2: could use a Disney trip.
- 18:52Speaker 3: I was actually thinking this other day about I was thinking,
- 18:55Speaker 3: like when Haley has a random day off to be like,
- 18:58Speaker 3: let's just go to Disney.
- 18:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 19:01Speaker 6: More though I thought you have to have reservations and
- 19:02Speaker 6: all this other. Yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Really, some days it depends on the.
- 19:11Speaker 6: Day that the expertise think, can you just decide in
- 19:13Speaker 6: a whim?
- 19:14Speaker 5: We have done that, but it's rare.
- 19:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I remember last time we tried to decide on a
- 19:17Speaker 1: whim the day have to take the kids and they
- 19:19Speaker 1: were all sold out.
- 19:21Speaker 2: Okay, that's that's just something to ponder. Yes, there is
- 19:24Speaker 2: something upon another thing to ponder.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I do feel like we need to tell the
- 19:28Speaker 1: story about our Gallantine's Day because you have Aganza at
- 19:31Speaker 1: my house.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Well, so it was absolute chaos.
- 19:35Speaker 3: We had made the plan that we were gonna, yes,
- 19:39Speaker 3: do we need a break, Sorry, we'll get back to that. Well,
- 19:44Speaker 3: we're gonna take a break right now.
- 19:45Speaker 5: That's a good tea.
- 20:04Speaker 3: All right, we are back. Mark was like waving his
- 20:07Speaker 3: head at me, nodding, smiling.
- 20:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:12Speaker 3: So on Gallentine's Day we had planned to we were
- 20:15Speaker 3: gonna go see Tanya try on her dress, and then
- 20:18Speaker 3: we were well, that wasn't actually the plan. The plan
- 20:20Speaker 3: was that one of us needed to go be there
- 20:23Speaker 3: when Tanya tried on her dress to see how we
- 20:25Speaker 3: get her into the dress.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Because it's a corset, so it's a little bit more
- 20:28Speaker 1: intricate than just like zip and zipping me up.
- 20:30Speaker 2: Spoiler alert, spoiler alert.
- 20:32Speaker 4: So my actually, the woman that.
- 20:35Speaker 1: Sold me the dress was like, you should maybe have
- 20:37Speaker 1: one of your friends come to the final fitting just
- 20:39Speaker 1: so they can learn how to put you in it
- 20:42Speaker 1: the day up, So I was like, yeah, lob Detect,
- 20:44Speaker 1: Hey guys, I just need somebody to come with me
- 20:47Speaker 1: to my final fitting so that you can learn how
- 20:48Speaker 1: to put me in Somehow.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Everybody wanted to come.
- 20:53Speaker 3: This happened before the bachelorette, so Sophia was like, I'll go.
- 20:57Speaker 2: So it was just a.
- 20:58Speaker 1: Plan that Sofia was gonna go, and and she volunteered
- 21:01Speaker 1: quick like she was like I'm there.
- 21:02Speaker 2: I was like, great, I got my one. Thank you
- 21:04Speaker 2: because she hadn't been able to be at the other fitting.
- 21:06Speaker 3: So you're like, all right, Sophia, can go do that. Well,
- 21:08Speaker 3: we all had the bachelorette party and we all had
- 21:10Speaker 3: so much fun together that coming off how it happening
- 21:13Speaker 3: off of the Bachelorette, it was like, oh, I'm gonna
- 21:16Speaker 3: go too, And so we all end up going to
- 21:18Speaker 3: the fitting in a very small, tight room.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Very tight in there, okay.
- 21:24Speaker 3: And Tanya you can tell is just like very overwhelmed
- 21:27Speaker 3: with the lack of space. She brought Sonny because Sonny
- 21:31Speaker 3: had to get her bow for the wedding.
- 21:33Speaker 1: Yes, you're right, so I have Sonny like wrote roaming around.
- 21:36Speaker 1: What it's super wet, it's rainy. And then the whole
- 21:39Speaker 1: thought process was we'll go to the fitting, everybody's gonna
- 21:41Speaker 1: learn how to put me in the dress.
- 21:42Speaker 4: We're gonna go back to.
- 21:43Speaker 1: My house, Robbie's taking the kids to get haircuts and
- 21:46Speaker 1: go to steam night with So there, the kids are
- 21:48Speaker 1: out for the night and we're gonna go back to
- 21:50Speaker 1: my house and we're gonna put the boudoir photos up
- 21:52Speaker 1: on the TV. We're gonna pick them, have dinner, make
- 21:55Speaker 1: it like a whole cutna cutesy thing with the girlies.
- 21:59Speaker 1: It's rain this day, cats and dogs, pouring rain, and
- 22:03Speaker 1: I was like my vision of us like lounging on
- 22:05Speaker 1: the couch and then grabbing like dinner.
- 22:07Speaker 4: After slowly started to like fade, but.
- 22:11Speaker 1: Everybody was stugged, and I sent a lot to text, Hey, guys,
- 22:13Speaker 1: I know it's raining. If nobody wants to come to
- 22:15Speaker 1: this dress fitting, I totally get it. I can have
- 22:17Speaker 1: her take a video of how to put me in.
- 22:18Speaker 1: Like I was basically giving everybody out and everybody's like, nope,
- 22:21Speaker 1: we're there, see you at too.
- 22:22Speaker 3: I was like, unfortunately no one took it, so I said,
- 22:25Speaker 3: I guess I'm heading over the hill too.
- 22:28Speaker 1: Beccha was very much looking forward to not leaving your
- 22:30Speaker 1: house in the rain.
- 22:31Speaker 3: Tanya sends me a text and was like, oh, it's
- 22:33Speaker 3: it's like pouring rain. It's so much to get out
- 22:35Speaker 3: and I'm like, thank you, thank you, and she sends
- 22:37Speaker 3: it to the group chat and everyone's like I'll be there.
- 22:39Speaker 2: This is nothing. I'm from Miami. I'm like, okay, me too.
- 22:45Speaker 2: So everybody still shows up. Guess who held Sonny the
- 22:48Speaker 2: whole time.
- 22:49Speaker 1: Becka Tilly Thank god, because I didn't even realize there
- 22:51Speaker 1: was like needles all over the floor.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Oh my my dog.
- 22:54Speaker 1: Just like anyway we had that yeah, ooh yeah, that
- 23:02Speaker 1: is nothing I wanted to deal with. So anyway, so
- 23:04Speaker 1: he finished the fitting and I was like, and they go, okay, great,
- 23:07Speaker 1: are we going back going to your house? And I
- 23:08Speaker 1: was like, first of all, the barber that the kids
- 23:10Speaker 1: were supposed to get their haircut out like left early
- 23:13Speaker 1: because of the rain, so their haircuts got canceled. So
- 23:15Speaker 1: I'm like, I have Robbie and two kids at home.
- 23:18Speaker 1: Meanwhile we're going home to like look through my boudoir photos.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Like maybe we should table this for a different day.
- 23:24Speaker 1: Nobody wanted a table it for a different day. They
- 23:26Speaker 1: were like, let's go, let's go to your house, we'll
- 23:28Speaker 1: get the adapter for the computer.
- 23:30Speaker 2: Let's do it.
- 23:30Speaker 1: I was like, okay, So how to tell Robbie. I said, Hey,
- 23:33Speaker 1: we're working on something that's a surprise. I didn't say,
- 23:35Speaker 1: like for him or anything. I said, I'm working on
- 23:37Speaker 1: something with my girlfriends for a surprise. So we might
- 23:40Speaker 1: just need you to leave the room at some point whatever.
- 23:44Speaker 1: So we all have dinner together. It's so cute, my
- 23:48Speaker 1: best friends, my fiance, our kids, just having to go
- 23:53Speaker 1: to grid all time.
- 23:55Speaker 4: Then we need to get down to business.
- 23:57Speaker 1: But so we go upstairs to my bedroom because we
- 24:00Speaker 1: wanted to like airplane it to a TV screen so
- 24:03Speaker 1: we really see the photo.
- 24:05Speaker 3: The images say airplane, it airplay it airplane.
- 24:10Speaker 2: I guess airplane works.
- 24:11Speaker 1: So we're putting them on our TV screen in our
- 24:14Speaker 1: bedroom and we're all.
- 24:15Speaker 3: Like, oh, yeah, that's a little nipple.
- 24:21Speaker 4: Then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, it.
- 24:25Speaker 3: Like shuts off and it says connected to.
- 24:32Speaker 2: It's like Sebastian I find.
- 24:39Speaker 3: And my prain's like, Who's who Sebastian?
- 24:42Speaker 1: And then I realized, my gosh, it's Robbie's.
- 24:47Speaker 2: So I text Robbie and I'm like.
- 24:49Speaker 6: Ah, it was you run out of the door and
- 24:53Speaker 6: to go tackle him.
- 24:54Speaker 1: And it wasn't in my right mind, Like my life
- 24:57Speaker 1: was flat, like the photos are flashing through my head
- 24:59Speaker 1: and like is he connected.
- 25:00Speaker 4: To the phone or is he connected to the photos?
- 25:03Speaker 1: Or is he trying to get in here? Like I
- 25:06Speaker 1: didn't know, I don't know technology. I to start panicking
- 25:10Speaker 1: because I'm like, now, is he connected to these photos?
- 25:12Speaker 2: Like all the photos going into his phone?
- 25:13Speaker 3: The episode yet of show you guys, all of us
- 25:17Speaker 3: are sitting in silence, like no one's doing anything.
- 25:20Speaker 1: We're just staring at the TV like fine Times of
- 25:23Speaker 1: Robby and I hear him go, are you trying to
- 25:25Speaker 1: connect to the TV? He goes, yeah, I hit the
- 25:26Speaker 1: wrong button. It's fine, So nothing happened.
- 25:30Speaker 4: Yeah he tried to.
- 25:31Speaker 1: He accidentally hit like airplane to the whatever to the bedroom.
- 25:35Speaker 6: Yeah, oh so the TV was connecting? Yeah, your stuff correct?
- 25:41Speaker 3: Right?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Correct? Correct?
- 25:42Speaker 1: So all was fine, nothing, no alarms to be had.
- 25:47Speaker 1: And also Robby has no idea what we're doing, so
- 25:50Speaker 1: mind dude.
- 25:50Speaker 3: We're also like we've been trying to do this for
- 25:53Speaker 3: hours now, like we had to order an adapter because
- 25:56Speaker 3: Tonya's computer doesn't have the SD card insert.
- 25:59Speaker 2: It's like chaos.
- 26:01Speaker 3: So anyways, yeah, I mean I still have to edit them,
- 26:04Speaker 3: but we got thirty.
- 26:05Speaker 2: There was thirty that she that we favored yep.
- 26:08Speaker 1: I found a website that I think I'm gonna make
- 26:10Speaker 1: like a book. Basically, take the photos, put them in
- 26:13Speaker 1: like a book, and get it printed.
- 26:16Speaker 6: I don't mean I look, look, you do what you
- 26:18Speaker 6: gotta do and stuff. I just feel like when there
- 26:20Speaker 6: are offspring involved, you want a physical copy that they
- 26:24Speaker 6: can find.
- 26:25Speaker 2: Oh you want me to just digitally like text him
- 26:28Speaker 2: these photos?
- 26:28Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 26:30Speaker 2: Do you know what I like? I put it in
- 26:32Speaker 2: his bed.
- 26:33Speaker 1: It's like, we're not just gonna like it's not gonna
- 26:34Speaker 1: be a coffee table book.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I like a box with a lock on it.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Mmmm, Where am I going to find a box with
- 26:42Speaker 4: a lock on it? Nineteen ninety two ppsy.
- 26:46Speaker 5: Locks Those went out with power.
- 26:51Speaker 6: I don't think that's that old fashioned.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Oh really yeah, oh yeah, people are safe. Safe is
- 26:58Speaker 2: not sexy.
- 26:59Speaker 6: It can be inside is safe as all sexy things.
- 27:03Speaker 6: That's a sex.
- 27:03Speaker 3: Based on your reaction of him trying to log onto
- 27:06Speaker 3: the TV, I think you want something that's protected.
- 27:11Speaker 2: That you don't want to scar him.
- 27:12Speaker 4: For if you keep it in our like safe.
- 27:15Speaker 6: As soon as my kids were old enough to go
- 27:16Speaker 6: digging through drawers, we got rid of anything anything that
- 27:19Speaker 6: would be a conversation.
- 27:20Speaker 5: The guns, all the drugs, toilet gone. If I may
- 27:27Speaker 5: be Neil deGrasse tys he has a pooper.
- 27:30Speaker 4: That's why we invited you.
- 27:32Speaker 6: Secure it. If you're going to do a book, you
- 27:34Speaker 6: better secure it.
- 27:35Speaker 5: And just to calm your nerves about the TV thing,
- 27:38Speaker 5: the do they have a TV in the room?
- 27:40Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 27:40Speaker 5: Okay, if you had connected to that TV instead, that
- 27:44Speaker 5: would have been that would issue him connecting to the TV.
- 27:47Speaker 5: You're on no danger there, like you can't see what's
- 27:49Speaker 5: on your screen. He can't connect to your phone. But
- 27:51Speaker 5: if you had connected to his television.
- 27:54Speaker 4: Could have been connected to our TV and their TV same.
- 27:56Speaker 5: Okay, it's one to one.
- 27:57Speaker 3: Okay, great, that would have been crazy. If you put
- 28:00Speaker 3: him up there and you're like, why aren't we seeing them?
- 28:01Speaker 3: It says we're connected.
- 28:04Speaker 6: And it's so funny because in the sitcom version, then
- 28:06Speaker 6: you race down the stairs and he's like, what's As
- 28:08Speaker 6: he's picking up his phone, you grab it and you
- 28:09Speaker 6: throw it out the window and he's like, what's going on? Hilarious?
- 28:14Speaker 3: It was what what did people vote for Robbie's facial
- 28:18Speaker 3: hair length?
- 28:20Speaker 2: What was the popular wind?
- 28:21Speaker 1: It's hard to say, but day four seems to be
- 28:25Speaker 1: the general crowd pleaser.
- 28:27Speaker 2: Was that your choice? Yeah?
- 28:29Speaker 1: I like day three and day four, but uh boy,
- 28:32Speaker 1: did that get some response fifteen thousand responses.
- 28:36Speaker 2: Yeah, people love to have an opinion on something. Yeah,
- 28:39Speaker 2: so it's looking like day three, day four.
- 28:42Speaker 3: All right, yeah, good to know. So he'll shave on Monday, Tuesday.
- 28:49Speaker 1: Wednesday would be day one, Thursday would be day two,
- 28:52Speaker 1: So he'll shave Monday.
- 28:53Speaker 2: Okay, Wow, it got that sorted.
- 28:56Speaker 3: Yeah, and what about Sunny's cut.
- 28:59Speaker 1: That's still really it's too close to too too soon
- 29:03Speaker 1: to talk about. Well, hopefully she grows in and grows
- 29:07Speaker 1: into her cut a little bit and it's all fine.
- 29:10Speaker 3: I always had this thing when I was with men
- 29:14Speaker 3: that they would get a fresh haircut, and I was
- 29:16Speaker 3: always like, no, it's those first like week that's just
- 29:20Speaker 3: so brutal because it's like they go to barber that
- 29:24Speaker 3: just chops it.
- 29:25Speaker 1: And also it's like blown out, so it's like straight.
- 29:28Speaker 1: You know, she'll get her curls back in a week
- 29:30Speaker 1: and it's gonna be good.
- 29:32Speaker 2: It's gonna be great. She's gonna look just.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Like her old self again.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Oh so you've all of a sudden, are not into it?
- 29:38Speaker 4: No, I love it.
- 29:39Speaker 2: I love it.
- 29:40Speaker 4: Rob is like she doesn't even look like herself anymore.
- 29:42Speaker 2: I was giving Anna wintour.
- 29:43Speaker 4: Bob, It's gonna be fine.
- 29:48Speaker 1: It's all gonna be fine.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 29:52Speaker 1: We we're gonna make a quick prediction back and I
- 29:54Speaker 1: have a hot take and a hot prediction, and we're
- 29:56Speaker 1: gonna do it right when we get back.
- 29:59Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, okay, we're back. So wait.
- 30:20Speaker 3: Earlier in the episode, Mark, you said you were watching
- 30:23Speaker 3: Oscar Movies Oscar Nominations.
- 30:25Speaker 2: Do you have any favorites.
- 30:26Speaker 6: I really liked Lenora a lot. I thought that was
- 30:28Speaker 6: a really good story. It really held my attention. I
- 30:31Speaker 6: don't know why. What's the other one. We've got all
- 30:35Speaker 6: the nominations. Yes, I don't know why. That's a musical.
- 30:38Speaker 6: If that was not a musical, I've liked it more.
- 30:40Speaker 6: And I like musicals. I'm way in the musicals. But
- 30:43Speaker 6: that's not a musical. That was a really good dramatic
- 30:45Speaker 6: film with songs randomly put into it. I didn't get that.
- 30:49Speaker 6: That hurt it for me, but it was good Otherwise.
- 30:51Speaker 6: I really liked a real Painan Culkin and Jesse Eisenberg
- 30:57Speaker 6: go to Poe. Yeah, that was really good. I'm trying
- 31:00Speaker 6: doing too. I'm trying. I'm sorry. I can't get into it.
- 31:03Speaker 6: I don't care about this planet. I don't care about
- 31:05Speaker 6: these aliens. I can't do it. And uh, I think
- 31:08Speaker 6: there's one more. I watched too, I forget, but not yet.
- 31:12Speaker 2: I can't.
- 31:13Speaker 6: Clave's next time my list because it's done. Peacock, haven't
- 31:15Speaker 6: the brutal list. I can't even I don't go to movies.
- 31:17Speaker 6: They have to come to me. So no, I have not.
- 31:22Speaker 3: So what he said, speaking of we watched Mowana too,
- 31:26Speaker 3: which to me felt like they just put it into
- 31:29Speaker 3: AI and said make a second.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I'd a lot of people didn't like it.
- 31:33Speaker 3: It basically was the same exact plot. It felt like
- 31:37Speaker 3: it was like right on schedule with the original.
- 31:39Speaker 2: People didn't like it.
- 31:40Speaker 6: Yeah, so you're not made a billion dollars.
- 31:43Speaker 3: Yeah, because the first one's my favorite movie, like when
- 31:46Speaker 3: i'm it's my comfort movie.
- 31:47Speaker 2: So I'm obsessed with Malana. So I was a little
- 31:49Speaker 2: bummed about that.
- 31:50Speaker 3: But we have been watching TV shows and our prediction
- 31:53Speaker 3: is based around that. I watched Apple Cider Vinegar. I
- 31:56Speaker 3: binged it it's on Netflix. It is should have been
- 31:59Speaker 3: a week release in my opinion, because it is so
- 32:03Speaker 3: dark and heavy in like this weird anxiety written way,
- 32:07Speaker 3: and it.
- 32:08Speaker 2: Is the craziest show.
- 32:09Speaker 3: But it was so well done and the acting is phenomenal.
- 32:13Speaker 3: Highly recommend we both watch. Has anyone else watched White Lotus?
- 32:17Speaker 6: No, but I needed to build up before we get.
- 32:20Speaker 2: Into White Lotus.
- 32:21Speaker 1: I would just like to share a gripe with social
- 32:25Speaker 1: media gods out there.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Directly the camera.
- 32:29Speaker 1: I am a week behind Love Island All Stars because
- 32:33Speaker 1: I do not VPN. I watch it in American time,
- 32:36Speaker 1: which is a week behind UK for some reason. Okay,
- 32:42Speaker 1: yesterday was the finale and I start seeing these things
- 32:47Speaker 1: popping up my feed, so I go somehow, I don't
- 32:50Speaker 1: know how to mute people properly because I want it.
- 32:52Speaker 1: I muted Love Island so that I wouldn't get these spoilers.
- 32:55Speaker 1: I clearly did it wrong because spoiler after spoiler spoilers.
- 33:00Speaker 2: So now I'm a week behind.
- 33:02Speaker 1: I don't even know who the final five couples are
- 33:04Speaker 1: and I already know who won the season, and I
- 33:06Speaker 1: am pissed.
- 33:08Speaker 3: I have a gripe with people like you because in
- 33:11Speaker 3: my mind, social media, you're supposed to share live updates
- 33:15Speaker 3: on what's going on, so I think it's very unrealistic
- 33:17Speaker 3: to expect people to wait a week before they start
- 33:20Speaker 3: posting in their country.
- 33:23Speaker 2: What's happening live.
- 33:25Speaker 3: So in my mind, I'm like, stay off social media
- 33:27Speaker 3: if you don't want spoilers.
- 33:28Speaker 2: I tried.
- 33:30Speaker 1: I tried, I tried, and then I realized I follow
- 33:33Speaker 1: so many these freaking Love Island UK people that I
- 33:36Speaker 1: couldn't get away from it.
- 33:37Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody was posting about it. Oh my gosh, our
- 33:40Speaker 2: favorites one.
- 33:41Speaker 3: I was like, bitch, you had to stay off social
- 33:48Speaker 3: media for a week.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Yeah, that's what you want. I'm so upset.
- 33:53Speaker 3: I unfollow reality TV people of shows that you watch
- 33:56Speaker 3: so that this doesn't.
- 33:57Speaker 6: Happen in his face. Well, Becca was giving her counterpoint
- 34:02Speaker 6: because that was just delicious.
- 34:04Speaker 3: It's just like, really so much when it's like two
- 34:09Speaker 3: days past a like a finale or like a show
- 34:12Speaker 3: and people like spoiler, this is so rude.
- 34:15Speaker 7: I'm like, ago, Yeah, then the UK Love Island people
- 34:22Speaker 7: should put some sort of protection around their posts.
- 34:25Speaker 2: In America insane. I don't think so we have enough
- 34:29Speaker 2: AI in the world.
- 34:30Speaker 4: Figure it out, but you.
- 34:32Speaker 3: Should be able to mute properly before they have to
- 34:34Speaker 3: come up with an AI.
- 34:36Speaker 4: Now, Love Island is just restricted.
- 34:38Speaker 1: I don't know what they're restricted from, but they're restricted,
- 34:40Speaker 1: but I'm seeing all their stuff.
- 34:41Speaker 2: I don't restrict them. You mute them?
- 34:44Speaker 4: Oh what does restrict do?
- 34:46Speaker 2: It like prevents them from beings? I don't want that.
- 34:51Speaker 4: I want I want them to communicate with me and respond.
- 34:55Speaker 6: We're in a true group in here Yesterday from London.
- 34:59Speaker 6: Do you guys watch yeah? Of course, yeah, of course.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Oh my gosh, it isn't amazing. They're like, yeah, that's good,
- 35:05Speaker 6: Like they don't. They seemed unfaced by the whole thing whatever.
- 35:08Speaker 2: They're just unfazed.
- 35:10Speaker 6: That's true.
- 35:14Speaker 4: I was like, anyone, anyone excited about it?
- 35:17Speaker 2: I want to talk about it.
- 35:19Speaker 3: The other show that I need to talk about is
- 35:22Speaker 3: Paradise on Hulu.
- 35:24Speaker 2: It is so good.
- 35:27Speaker 6: It's Sterling Brown.
- 35:28Speaker 3: Yeah, and James Marston Marston Marsden Marston so handsome. That
- 35:33Speaker 3: guy is just like aging like final one. He's been
- 35:36Speaker 3: stunning since the Notebook. He made the Notebook hard for
- 35:39Speaker 3: me because I was like, this guy is really good
- 35:41Speaker 3: to her and he's.
- 35:42Speaker 2: Beautiful I know, but he's short.
- 35:44Speaker 4: I don't care.
- 35:52Speaker 2: That doesn't seem short. Yeah, you love short.
- 35:58Speaker 4: I'm just saying I think it's above.
- 36:00Speaker 2: Oh really yeah.
- 36:02Speaker 4: Five ten yea.
- 36:05Speaker 6: Age.
- 36:08Speaker 4: That's what I'm marrying it.
- 36:09Speaker 2: Talking anyways, it is so good.
- 36:12Speaker 3: It's about a special agent who's protecting the president.
- 36:16Speaker 2: But there's all these twists. It is so good.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Then the last episode airs next week, so then you
- 36:23Speaker 3: can binge the whole thing.
- 36:24Speaker 2: It's weekly released.
- 36:25Speaker 3: We didn't know, so we got to episode four and
- 36:26Speaker 3: then it ends and we're like, next.
- 36:29Speaker 1: Week, okay, So we uh, we watched the season premiere
- 36:34Speaker 1: of White Lotus and we wanted to make our predictions
- 36:37Speaker 1: of who we think the killer is now so that
- 36:39Speaker 1: come season finale will have a winner and who gets killed.
- 36:45Speaker 6: Really predictions, have a predictions dot Becca's couple predictions extra
- 36:51Speaker 6: at the end.
- 36:51Speaker 1: Of it here, Yeah, White Lotus killer predictions, all right,
- 36:56Speaker 1: go ahead, Well just please your case first.
- 36:58Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 36:59Speaker 1: So so I am gonna go out on a limb
- 37:02Speaker 1: and I'm gonna shoot. I was supposed to find her
- 37:05Speaker 1: name and I didn't find her name. My prediction for
- 37:09Speaker 1: the killer is the third friend on the trip.
- 37:15Speaker 2: What are we doing? If you want you understand.
- 37:19Speaker 1: No, there's a group of three women who are three
- 37:21Speaker 1: best friends that go on this trip together, and there's
- 37:24Speaker 1: one that's clearly unhinged, and I think she's the killer.
- 37:29Speaker 5: Wait, I've seen the episode. I know what you're talking about.
- 37:32Speaker 5: What do you mean by unhinge?
- 37:33Speaker 3: She's short, the short haired blonde friend they both have
- 37:36Speaker 3: they both have blonde hair.
- 37:38Speaker 5: But the one that's like very successful but not famous. No, No,
- 37:41Speaker 5: the one who's going through something.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Yes, okay, that one. That's what I think is the killer.
- 37:45Speaker 6: A character name here, you can help character that.
- 37:49Speaker 2: I am dB, I am D.
- 37:52Speaker 6: This is not good. Let us do it. Will's look
- 37:54Speaker 6: for the character name. You guys talk because it's better podcast.
- 37:57Speaker 1: Okay, So that's what I think is the killer. And
- 37:59Speaker 1: I think think the woman killed is going.
- 38:02Speaker 2: To be the Do you think it's a woman. Yes,
- 38:04Speaker 2: I think it's a woman.
- 38:04Speaker 1: And I think it's going to be the kid's mom.
- 38:08Speaker 5: Interesting, so Tiny thinks it's Laurie, who's played by Carry
- 38:12Speaker 5: kuon Carry Coon.
- 38:13Speaker 6: Is a brilliant actress. Yes, she was in I'll lead
- 38:18Speaker 6: a second on that, but boy, is she just watched
- 38:20Speaker 6: her in something leftover?
- 38:22Speaker 5: Leftover?
- 38:24Speaker 2: Girl. That's where. So anyways, that's what I think the
- 38:28Speaker 2: killer is.
- 38:29Speaker 6: What's the character's name is?
- 38:30Speaker 1: And then the woman killed is the mom. She's from
- 38:34Speaker 1: Sonic the Hedgehog Movie.
- 38:35Speaker 2: It's uh, Parker pose yes, Parker Posey.
- 38:39Speaker 4: I think rest in Peace.
- 38:40Speaker 6: The character is Victoria Peace.
- 38:42Speaker 2: Yes, Okay.
- 38:43Speaker 3: My prediction is that Lisa from Black Pink is the killer.
- 38:49Speaker 3: Her name's Mooke, I think in the show. And then
- 38:53Speaker 3: I think she kills Patrick Schwartzinger's character.
- 38:57Speaker 4: That's a hot take.
- 38:58Speaker 2: I know it's so random.
- 38:59Speaker 3: I just hold it out of left fielding the killer.
- 39:02Speaker 6: Is sex is Patrick's character's name.
- 39:06Speaker 4: Understand it. Every time he says, I'm I was like, what.
- 39:09Speaker 3: He did such a good job because I wanted to
- 39:12Speaker 3: reach to the TV and.
- 39:15Speaker 2: Judo chopping.
- 39:16Speaker 1: I know, the whole time I was watching it, I
- 39:18Speaker 1: was like, this character is so not Patrick.
- 39:21Speaker 2: I know that. I'm like, it probably was so fun
- 39:25Speaker 2: for him, fun for him to play that. Yeah, it's
- 39:27Speaker 2: like the most annoying.
- 39:29Speaker 3: Yeah, there's this weird tension between those three siblings.
- 39:33Speaker 2: I don't like, like sexual sexual.
- 39:37Speaker 3: Palpable, And I'm like, I can't tell if this is
- 39:40Speaker 3: part of the storyline or not, but you can feel it.
- 39:43Speaker 1: I also was talking to Robbie about this, and I
- 39:44Speaker 1: feel like they do this with every season of White Lotus,
- 39:47Speaker 1: but I feel like every single character and every single
- 39:50Speaker 1: scenario is like not normal.
- 39:53Speaker 2: Like I'm like, this family dynamic.
- 39:55Speaker 5: Doesn't seem Mike White is going through a lot I
- 39:59Speaker 5: think every year, yeah.
- 40:02Speaker 1: Like every the friends have like this really weird dynamic family.
- 40:07Speaker 3: I think the whole point of White Lotus, though, is
- 40:09Speaker 3: you bring in these characters who, on the surface, without
- 40:12Speaker 3: getting to know them, if you just saw them out
- 40:14Speaker 3: of dinner and oh, this family with three kids, they're perfect,
- 40:18Speaker 3: they're rich, they have everything. But what it is it's
- 40:21Speaker 3: like diving into like them being alone and how bad
- 40:24Speaker 3: and dark it is, which I think is the like
- 40:27Speaker 3: the point of the show.
- 40:28Speaker 4: I'm having an honorable mention for the pill popping mom.
- 40:31Speaker 6: How does that work?
- 40:33Speaker 2: She already said she's dying.
- 40:34Speaker 1: You already said no, no, no, no, not that mom,
- 40:37Speaker 1: the mom of the kid, the mom of the kid,
- 40:40Speaker 1: the mom of the kid. So the kid in the
- 40:45Speaker 1: very beginning when the kids like doing zenning out and
- 40:48Speaker 1: he like, here's the gunshots or whatever.
- 40:50Speaker 2: The mom who comes from the other seasons.
- 40:53Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yeah, no, No, the pill popping mom, the druggie,
- 40:56Speaker 1: Patrick Schwarzingers.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Yeah, that's why I think might be a killer. But wait,
- 41:00Speaker 2: I'm so confused.
- 41:02Speaker 3: You said you thought lur the friend, the blonde friend,
- 41:05Speaker 3: is going to be the killer.
- 41:07Speaker 2: She's my number one.
- 41:07Speaker 1: I'm giving an honorable mention to the pill popping mom, but.
- 41:12Speaker 3: You're saying that the person you think is going to die. Yes,
- 41:15Speaker 3: it's not Parker Posey. We gotta change this.
- 41:18Speaker 2: She's saying.
- 41:20Speaker 5: The Victoria Ratlift.
- 41:22Speaker 2: Is she the one from Sonic?
- 41:25Speaker 5: I don't remember, ma'am.
- 41:29Speaker 3: You're talking about the actress who's in. Her name's Belinda
- 41:32Speaker 3: Lindsay and she's from other seasons of White Lotus. She's
- 41:35Speaker 3: from the first season of White Lotus, the spot manager.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Yes, yes, Natasha Rothwell victim.
- 41:45Speaker 4: She's going to be dead.
- 41:46Speaker 2: She will be dead, all right.
- 41:48Speaker 3: And then she's saying the friend who is Laurie is
- 41:52Speaker 3: going to be the killer who kills her. Yes, but
- 41:55Speaker 3: her honorable mention for killer is the the mom of
- 41:59Speaker 3: the three kids, which is Parker.
- 42:00Speaker 5: Posey, who is not in Sonic.
- 42:04Speaker 2: Not confusing was very I think it was confusing. If
- 42:14Speaker 2: you watch the show.
- 42:15Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you say the mom people are thinking
- 42:18Speaker 3: of the pill sports.
- 42:19Speaker 2: And okay, okay, fair am.
- 42:21Speaker 5: I think it's going to be I think Patrick Schwarzenegger
- 42:26Speaker 5: Saxon Ratlift is going to be killed.
- 42:28Speaker 2: I think he's going to die infurious you're.
- 42:30Speaker 5: Setting him up.
- 42:31Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 42:31Speaker 5: They showed his hog in episode one. That means you're
- 42:33Speaker 5: going to die. And then I think he's gonna be
- 42:36Speaker 5: killed by his brother, who is uh Lachlan Ratlift played
- 42:40Speaker 5: by Sam Nivola. I think that they're going to have
- 42:43Speaker 5: some tension as their bond.
- 42:45Speaker 6: I haven't seen it so, but I will do it anyway.
- 42:48Speaker 2: That was That was another option. I thought of the
- 42:52Speaker 2: brother the brother.
- 42:54Speaker 6: The victim is going to be Chelsea actresses Amy lou Wood,
- 42:57Speaker 6: who was brilliant Education one of my favorite shows of
- 42:59Speaker 6: all time. She's the victim.
- 43:01Speaker 2: Wow, that's sad.
- 43:03Speaker 6: I haven't seen it.
- 43:03Speaker 2: Who is she? She's the guy.
- 43:05Speaker 5: Who Walton Goggins girlfriend.
- 43:06Speaker 6: With the teeth yeah, and killed by Walton Goggins. Wow.
- 43:10Speaker 2: Wow. Oh yeah, I could see him being the killer too.
- 43:12Speaker 6: I did think, by the way, another brilliant Walton Goggins
- 43:15Speaker 6: is awesome and everything he.
- 43:16Speaker 5: Does he's an ant Man two. He's the best part
- 43:20Speaker 5: of that movie.
- 43:20Speaker 6: Of course.
- 43:21Speaker 1: I also just like to say, if anybody's out there
- 43:23Speaker 1: that has watched Severn season two, it is so good.
- 43:28Speaker 6: I'm fore and I just watched the group Outing episode.
- 43:31Speaker 2: Have you finished that episode?
- 43:32Speaker 5: Yes?
- 43:32Speaker 6: It is fan that was intense, so good.
- 43:35Speaker 2: Stick.
- 43:36Speaker 1: It is such good television and so weird and confusing
- 43:42Speaker 1: and amazing.
- 43:43Speaker 6: It feels like Lost. Speaking of Lost, it feels like
- 43:46Speaker 6: Lost did twenties. I never watched Lost, but well you
- 43:49Speaker 6: should if you like this, because there's this meeting of
- 43:51Speaker 6: what the hell is going on here?
- 43:53Speaker 3: What?
- 43:54Speaker 2: I think you've really expanded your TV.
- 43:58Speaker 1: I know it's I never would have watched Breaking Bad
- 44:02Speaker 1: had it not been for Robbie, and it's one of.
- 44:03Speaker 2: My favorite or severns.
- 44:05Speaker 1: I don't think you are, probably, but Breaking Bad is
- 44:07Speaker 1: one of my favorite TV shows of all time. It's
- 44:09Speaker 1: like up there with like Sex and City and Friends.
- 44:11Speaker 1: I think it's a fantastic series. A lot of people
- 44:14Speaker 1: feel that way about Yeah, so good.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Good to know. All right, Well, we are ending the
- 44:22Speaker 2: podcast now.
- 44:23Speaker 6: I do want to mention quickly the nominees are out
- 44:25Speaker 6: for the and that's a fair big deal.
- 44:27Speaker 2: I have some questions about bread choices.
- 44:30Speaker 3: Why because I just didn't feel like, are these your
- 44:34Speaker 3: favorite bread options this year?
- 44:37Speaker 6: So I'm trying to be the announcer. I'm hoping that
- 44:40Speaker 6: he will let me be the announcer for these the awards,
- 44:42Speaker 6: so if I may, the nominees for best and Bread
- 44:45Speaker 6: are sourdough garlic, not bread bowl Fikasha bagels.
- 44:56Speaker 5: For those of you who don't know, it's got to
- 44:57Speaker 5: be sour.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:00Speaker 5: If you're a longtime scobber, you've heard of these before.
- 45:01Speaker 5: But I do an award show year called the EC Awards,
- 45:03Speaker 5: where I recognize the best things from the past year.
- 45:06Speaker 5: And uh, back in the time. You both. Everyone in
- 45:09Speaker 5: this room has announced a category many times, and uh,
- 45:13Speaker 5: I'm very grateful for it. We're we're doing it live
- 45:16Speaker 5: this year in front of an audience in Studio City.
- 45:18Speaker 5: I'm so excited. It's going to be on March first.
- 45:20Speaker 5: I've sold out of tickets and I sold ten thousand seats.
- 45:24Speaker 5: I can't believe it. Thank you, I can't believe it.
- 45:28Speaker 5: It's gonna be a lot of fun and you can
- 45:30Speaker 5: watch on Instagram.
- 45:32Speaker 2: If you're not there, you has ten thousand seats.
- 45:34Speaker 5: I didn't do ten thousands.
- 45:36Speaker 2: Sorry, I was like, damn.
- 45:38Speaker 5: I yeah it's not it's all that big, but I'm
- 45:40Speaker 5: not gonna get me.
- 45:41Speaker 2: Is a venue that has like ten thousand seats? Uh?
- 45:44Speaker 4: Forum, that's twenty Yeah.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Forum's fifteen or is it? Or does it the size
- 45:49Speaker 2: of ten thousand?
- 45:50Speaker 5: Okay, yeah, maybe reack the Greek if they didn't do
- 45:52Speaker 5: the lawn or something. But yeah, yeah, we sold it out.
- 45:56Speaker 5: And it's gonna be a lot of surprises planned and uh,
- 45:59Speaker 5: it's gonna be a good time.
- 46:03Speaker 2: Do you have Are the winners already chosen?
- 46:06Speaker 5: Some of the winners are chosen. I do a thing
- 46:09Speaker 5: where and I'll talk about this on stage, but I
- 46:10Speaker 5: do a thing where I load myself up with magnesium
- 46:12Speaker 5: and I stay up really late, and then I picked
- 46:14Speaker 5: the winners and put them a nonvelop It's a surprise.
- 46:16Speaker 1: Doesn't win for the Bread of twenty twenty four that's.
- 46:21Speaker 5: Robbery, Best and Bread. This is a new category. I've
- 46:23Speaker 5: never done this at all. People are very passionate about it.
- 46:26Speaker 2: No, it struck me.
- 46:28Speaker 6: I've used two of the public restrooms of the year,
- 46:30Speaker 6: and that's kind of exciting. Wow, it's like the Oscars.
- 46:32Speaker 6: You've seen two of the eight movies and you hope
- 46:34Speaker 6: for the best.
- 46:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:35Speaker 5: I've gone a lot of heat for public restrooms of
- 46:37Speaker 5: the year. Everyone's mad. I didn't choose the Star Wars
- 46:40Speaker 5: bathrooms in Disneyland, and I just want to go on
- 46:42Speaker 5: the record right now. I think those bathrooms are boring. Yeah,
- 46:45Speaker 5: people like them because they're new, they're clean, but they're
- 46:49Speaker 5: not interesting. I don't think they're fun.
- 46:51Speaker 2: I like Russo Lobby. I've used that this year.
- 46:54Speaker 5: It's a great restroom if you're in the Los Angeles area.
- 46:56Speaker 5: The Grove bathrooms are great too. But the Moaning Myrtle
- 47:00Speaker 5: bathrooms at Universal Sudios recently, Yeah, they're great. You get
- 47:04Speaker 5: a little girl making fun of you while you're at
- 47:06Speaker 5: the urinal. It's really fun. And uh yeah, I mean again.
- 47:10Speaker 5: Tune in on March first. We'll go into this in detail.
- 47:13Speaker 3: And if you're lucky enough to have a seat, you'll

- 47:46Speaker 5: be part of it? And I had Britney Spears saying
- 47:48Speaker 5: I want to perform, and I'm like, oh god, I
- 47:50Speaker 5: need a second venue so hard it's like ANDL fifty.
