Latest / BDGE Fantasy Football / Here's What I'd Do with the 10 Most Confusing Players Right Now
Transcript
- 0:00[SPEAKER_00]: good morning friends and enemies and today's video we're playing a little buy sell hold with the 10 most traded players in fantasy football currently this is according to the website fantasycalk.com free to use if you had over to their trending players table or page whatever it has all the most traded players and
- 0:20[SPEAKER_00]: I want to do it this way, just because I think the old ways kind of stale of just like giving you a list of buys, giving you a list of sales, whatever, these are probably the most talked about players right now in fantasy football.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_00]: And I'm just going to give you a quick take on each of them.
- 0:31[SPEAKER_00]: But stay tuned to the end of the video, because I will give you a couple guys.
- 0:34[SPEAKER_00]: I think you should be buying right now.
- 0:36[SPEAKER_00]: The number one player on this list, the most traded player.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_00]: And I should also say fantasy calculus links to the sleeper app, so it has like millions of trades that have actually gone through in leagues.
- 0:45[SPEAKER_00]: And this is where the data is coming from.
- 0:47[SPEAKER_00]: Number one player's Drake London who went nuts last night with Michael Panics making his return now I want to make one thing clear Yes, you guys love going back to my rankings videos and if I have one thing wrong you guys would be like look at this fucking root stupid ass idiot He's there's no idea what he's talking about.
- 1:04[SPEAKER_01]: I can make content for free.
- 1:06[SPEAKER_01]: I could do
- 1:07[SPEAKER_00]: Great London one crazy.
- 1:09[SPEAKER_00]: I said I was a little skeptical that Panics's first game back after he wasn't confident in his knee was going to lead to some poor decisions and poor passing from him.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it did early on, but that changed quickly.
- 1:20[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless, this was my sentiment about Drake London a week ago.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_00]: And it was always that London would be fine long term once Panics got under center.
- 1:27[SPEAKER_00]: I was worried about him for week three.
- 1:29[SPEAKER_00]: Still, my widers, you were 15 on the week that made no difference.
- 1:32[SPEAKER_00]: You were still putting them in your lineup if you followed my rankings.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_00]: But the long-term play, the long-term thesis with Drake London is that he's always highly targeted.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_00]: And there's not a single other person besides Bijon Robinson.
- 1:41[SPEAKER_00]: Not one single player on their roster, not one single wide receiver running back or tight-end that can earn targets in that offense.
- 1:48[SPEAKER_00]: Not a single player I've ever seen that's currently on their roster capable of earning targets outside of Drake London or Bijon Robinson.
- 1:56[SPEAKER_00]: not one, name one in the comments challenge, and I'll give you $1,000.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_00]: Regardless, Drake London goes crazy last night.
- 2:03[SPEAKER_00]: And unfortunately, you're not going to be able to buy him, of course.
- 2:07[SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to get himself way closer to the hold slash sell category here.
- 2:11[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I think if you have them, you're incredibly encouraged after what you saw last night, we likely see PENIX going forward for the remainder of this season.
- 2:18[SPEAKER_00]: They're not interested into a, they want to know what they have in PENIX and PENIX is clearly fully healthy confident.
- 2:23[SPEAKER_00]: Now, they're going to get tougher matchups going forward.
- 2:26[SPEAKER_00]: The Green Bay Packers defense is really, really bad.
- 2:28[SPEAKER_00]: They're overall offensive bad.
- 2:29[SPEAKER_00]: They can't sustain drives.
- 2:30[SPEAKER_00]: They give the field to opposing offenses in really good areas.
- 2:33[SPEAKER_00]: The reason I even put sell close to Drake London's name is just because coming off of this game, everyone's going to go crazy for him, but we've seen a ton of inconsistency with Drake London, regardless of who is under center there.
- 2:45[SPEAKER_00]: But he always sees a very high target here in this offense.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_00]: He is what the offense is built around.
- 2:49[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to have their up and ups and downs, but like the tweet, I put out like he's going to be there by the end of the season and he will finish as, you know, the wide receiver six or the wide receiver nine or something in that range.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_00]: And their schedule is wonderful.
- 3:01[SPEAKER_00]: Weeks 13 through 18, the lions, the browns, the commanders, the bucks and the Panthers, like riding you into the fantasy playoffs.
- 3:08[SPEAKER_00]: So, you know, I said sell hold only because he'll be impossible to buy right now.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_00]: I don't actually want to sell him, London to me, just you feel good about him going forward with Panics Air.
- 3:17[SPEAKER_00]: But of course, when they play tougher matchups, it will be a little bit spicier.
- 3:20[SPEAKER_00]: But when you look at the schedule right now, they really don't have many of them.
- 3:23[SPEAKER_00]: Over the first half of the season, they've got the Ravens in Week 5, they've got the Niners in Week 7, they've got the Chiefs in Week 10.
- 3:29[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that any of those are like stay away matchups, you know, they're not Denver, they're not Houston, they do get the Vikings in we 12, pass their buy, but other than that, the schedule is light work, man, it's literally fries in the bag.
- 3:41[SPEAKER_00]: So London, ultimately, he's going to be a hold for me.
- 3:44[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to the next player on the list, and it actually wasn't close, right?
- 3:47[SPEAKER_00]: Glenn was the highest traded player by a pretty wide margin, but it is Malik Neighbors.
- 3:50[SPEAKER_00]: Another young talented wide receiver who's dealing with a little bit of shoulder injury.
- 3:54[SPEAKER_00]: He should be set to go for a week, three apparently.
- 3:56[SPEAKER_00]: Now, the big news is Jackson Dart is now out for the remainder of the season.
- 4:00[SPEAKER_00]: What I will say for Malik Neighbors is anything he's done at the NFL level has pretty much come without Jackson Dart under center.
- 4:05[SPEAKER_00]: So if you are buying into Malik Neighbors as a talent as the player,
- 4:08[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think realistically James Winston being under center should deter you because yes, James looked very, very poor in his limited time when Jackson dart went out last week, but I also don't think it's fair to encapsulate his entire season outlook going forward.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: Based off of what his arm looked like in a half of football that he wasn't getting started or reps for against one of the best defenses in the NFL.
- 4:28[SPEAKER_00]: So yes, James did not look good.
- 4:30[SPEAKER_00]: That was the worst we've seen him on TV in quite a while.
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: And he might be past his prime, but I still think James is going to target
- 4:38[SPEAKER_00]: It's a tricky situation with a lot of moving parts.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_00]: Is he going to be fully healthy right now off the shoulder injury?
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: I can't say for sure.
- 4:45[SPEAKER_00]: I also think when you drafted him though you were likely drafting him with the mindset like, oh, it's going to take him three to four weeks to ramp up and, you know, we're entering week three.
- 4:53[SPEAKER_00]: And I will say he hasn't looked like, you know, the explosive Malik Navargette.
- 4:57[SPEAKER_00]: So I still think he's getting his legs under him.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: The next four weeks, they get the Titans, the Cardinals, the Commanders, and the Saints.
- 5:03[SPEAKER_00]: So you've got some juicy matchups, and then looking at their fancy playoffs, week 15, you get Cleveland, week 16, you get Detroit, and week 17, you get Dallas.
- 5:10[SPEAKER_00]: So like,
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Over the next three or four weeks, he might close any sort of buy opportunity.
- 5:14[SPEAKER_00]: If he goes out there and gets 12 to 14 targets from James Winston, and at the end of the year, when you're playing against Malik neighbors, and his knee is fully healthy, and he gets to go against the lines and the cowboys, you're going to be upset that you did end up selling him.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_00]: So for Malik neighbors to me, he's a guy that if you are selling him now, you're selling him at a very low cost, so I would not be selling him or panning selling him.
- 5:34[SPEAKER_00]: If I had him, he would be a hold slash a buy if someone is panning selling him.
- 5:38[SPEAKER_00]: Moving to play number three, that would be Rashi Rice.
- 5:40[SPEAKER_00]: Lot of receivers on this list, so just buckle up for it.
- 5:43[SPEAKER_00]: We got Rashi Rice, the Kansas City Chiefs, Wider Seaver.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: This one to me is an easy one.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_00]: If the owner is panicking, I'm buying him.
- 5:48[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's not a great receiver.
- 5:49[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's not a number one.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_00]: I know he's not an elite alpha target earner right now.
- 5:53[SPEAKER_00]: First and foremost, my home looks great.
- 5:55[SPEAKER_00]: So, no worry about the passing game being crooked.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_00]: And I think the addition of Kenneth Walker while it's taken a lot away from Rashi Rice and the passing game overall has made the offense a lot better.
- 6:04[SPEAKER_00]: they're scoring, they're scoring at a high rate and they look really good.
- 6:08[SPEAKER_00]: They're just their will be games where they're going to need to throw the ball and Rashi Rice will have his big games.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_00]: Should we expect, you know, the Y receiver 4 on a points per game basis that we've got and gotten out of him the last few years?
- 6:19[SPEAKER_00]: No, but I'm actually genuinely not too worried about Rashi Rice overall, mainly because they have no real target earners behind him.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: So if
- 6:27[SPEAKER_00]: You know, if they actually didn't whiff on Xavier worthy, if they had a real like first or second round talent behind Roshie Rice, that was kind of nipping at the heels there to jump him in the Deptjar or the pecking order, I might be a little bit more nervous, but they just didn't change anything about their passing game to the point where even if Roshie isn't great, they're still going to run design plays around him when the passing script asks for it.
- 6:48[SPEAKER_00]: And because the offense is great, they will continue to get opportunities near the goal line.
- 6:52[SPEAKER_00]: We saw kind of walk her get stuff to the lot.
- 6:53[SPEAKER_00]: So maybe they, you know, they get back into their bag and ask Rashi Rice to take some screens from the five or 10 yard line.
- 6:59[SPEAKER_00]: I'm just saying, I'm not overly panicked about Rashi Rice.
- 7:01[SPEAKER_00]: Do I think the ceiling exists that we thought about last year or going into the summer?
- 7:05[SPEAKER_00]: No, probably not.
- 7:06[SPEAKER_00]: But I still think he'll be a fine hill end up as like the wider receiver 15 or 12.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anyone's buying him past that.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, so I wouldn't be looking to sell him if anything.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be looking to buy him.
- 7:16[SPEAKER_00]: All right, and before we move on to the next player, it is officially my favorite time of the month.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_00]: We had to open up a slap pack on a ring of club.
- 7:23[SPEAKER_00]: I'm getting into cards, man.
- 7:24[SPEAKER_00]: The same for show.
- 7:25[SPEAKER_00]: Cabones across the board, baby, and those are just my personal collection.
- 7:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'd be dropping right in you on it.
- 7:30[SPEAKER_00]: So we're headed over to a ring of club.
- 7:31[SPEAKER_00]: Also website that has slap packs of all different types of sports, you know, if you're into Pokemon right there football cars basketball cars baseball cards Whatever you want, they have them.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_00]: They've got a showroom that you can keep them there You don't even have to have the physical inventory if you don't want to you can sell them They have a buyback right after purchase today.
- 7:46[SPEAKER_00]: We are opening a football slap pack a diamond So we are hoping for a banger here.
- 7:51[SPEAKER_00]: Are you ready to reveal your slabs?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_01]: I'm too ready Those that kaboom
- 8:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, the lovelin action co-color blast.
- 8:05[SPEAKER_00]: That's actually a bang her card.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_00]: And it's at a 10, listen, lovelin.
- 8:09[SPEAKER_00]: Not having the absolute best season, but rookie color blasts is actually a movie.
- 8:14[SPEAKER_00]: So that was a dub ad for me.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 8:15[SPEAKER_00]: If you guys want to open up slap packs, they've got all different types of, again, sports.
- 8:19[SPEAKER_00]: They've got different
- 8:20[SPEAKER_00]: budgets for you so you don't have to do the thousand dollar pack.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously they've got five they've got 250, 150, 25, oh that good stuff.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_00]: Very very very fun way to start to build your collection.
- 8:30[SPEAKER_00]: They have other people's showrooms that you can go check out.
- 8:32[SPEAKER_00]: Mine is on here.
- 8:33[SPEAKER_00]: You can go buy sell, make offers, trade cards if you want to.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: And

- 8:55[SPEAKER_00]: Colson Lovelin, do something challenge.
- 8:58[SPEAKER_00]: Player number four is George Pickens.
- 9:00[SPEAKER_00]: This is an interesting one because we saw him go crazy last year.
- 9:04[SPEAKER_00]: We saw a city land take a step back.
- 9:05[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of that had to do with the ankle injury.
- 9:07[SPEAKER_00]: And we never really understood how much the ankle injury affected city lamb after he got back.
- 9:12[SPEAKER_00]: But Pickins had a ton of explosive games with and without picking.
- 9:16[SPEAKER_00]: So we're going into the year and we're unsure of how that split is going to emerge.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_00]: Or a lot of people that thought Pickins was just outright better than city lamb.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_00]: That's looking like a crazy take after two weeks.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_00]: But I still don't want to overly panic on pickings to me.
- 9:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not going to go out of my way and say he's a buy.
- 9:32[SPEAKER_00]: I think that would be disingenuous.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's a player that I'm looking to go out.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_00]: And necessarily bring in to any of my fantasy teams.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: If you look at the splits between him in CD lamb, CD lamb has a 27% target chair and pickings at 23%.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: Very respectable.
- 9:45[SPEAKER_00]: Probably not wide receiver.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_00]: One numbers unless he starts to come down with a sheetload of touchdowns or a sheetload of deep balls, which is possible, but not only does City Lamb of the higher target share.
- 9:53[SPEAKER_00]: He also has a higher A.14.1 over 13.3 for George Pickins.
- 9:59[SPEAKER_00]: He has 46% of the team's air yards, compared to 35% for George Pickins, 60% of the team's endzone targets.
- 10:06[SPEAKER_00]: Now, it's not purely fair there because City Lamb having a higher A.
- 10:10[SPEAKER_00]: Dot has a
- 10:13[SPEAKER_00]: Where Piggins is catchable target rate is 79% though Piggins is not doing himself any favor.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_00]: He's dropping passes that, you know, uncharacteristically would have been caught last year.
- 10:22[SPEAKER_00]: My biggest concern realistically is where they're lining Piggins up in CDLAM up in that offense.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: We heard a lot of talk about, oh, you know, we know what Piggins can do now.
- 10:31[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to utilize him more, moving him all over the field.
- 10:33[SPEAKER_00]: That shit was a lie.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: CD lamb so far has a 35% slot rate.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_00]: George Pickins has a 3% slot rate.
- 10:41[SPEAKER_00]: He is running 97% of routes on the outside.
- 10:45[SPEAKER_00]: That is tough, man.
- 10:46[SPEAKER_00]: You just don't get easy lay up targets.
- 10:49[SPEAKER_00]: He did a lot of that last year, but he was moved around quite a bit more last year.
- 10:52[SPEAKER_00]: Last year, Pickins was up to a 10% slot rate, as compared to the 3% this year, which
- 10:58[SPEAKER_00]: You know, it's not drastic, but over the course of the season, that's going to be, you know, in an extra 50 to 60 routes that are a lot easier to earn targets in, but also more importantly, like lamb is just running the easy route.
- 11:11[SPEAKER_00]: So the separation comes very easy to him and lamb's just in a leap receiver by himself, right?
- 11:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think people just kind of forgot that because, you know, the last elite season he had was back in 2023, but he's showing what he's got again.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_00]: So,
- 11:22[SPEAKER_00]: We're seeing a bit of what this offense is with pickings.
- 11:24[SPEAKER_00]: My instinct would be hold for sure.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great player that's going to make big plays and have big games, but it's a little tough to figure out based on what we've seen so far from the Dallas offense.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_00]: When that consistency and when those games are going to come, so I would say he's not a buy for me.
- 11:39[SPEAKER_00]: He's somewhere between the Holden cell.
- 11:41[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if you want to hold them, like, you know, he'll end up being fine.
- 11:44[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sure he'll finish at the top like 18 wide receiver.
- 11:47[SPEAKER_00]: The one thing that does scare me is they're schedule going forward especially once we hit the double digit weeks.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_00]: Week 12, we have the Philadelphia Eagles week 13.
- 11:55[SPEAKER_00]: We have Seattle in Seattle.
- 11:57[SPEAKER_00]: Week 14, he's got that sickening late by.
- 12:00[SPEAKER_00]: And then week 15, we've got LA, the Rams week 16.
- 12:03[SPEAKER_00]: We've got the Jaguars.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_00]: Does let up in week 17 with the Giants, but you gotta get there.
- 12:08[SPEAKER_00]: So he's got a really tough slate down the stretch.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_00]: Also want to apologize.
- 12:11[SPEAKER_00]: I know the Cowboys Ravens game this Sunday is actually in Brazil.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_00]: Yesterday I said that it was in Dallas don't want to make excuses.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_00]: But I will say the new puppy that I got is like ruining my life right now.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: It is very hard to focus on work and very hard to focus on the details of what I'm doing.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_00]: That has made you guys follow me for that.
- 12:30[SPEAKER_00]: So apologies for the slip up there.
- 12:32[SPEAKER_00]: We'll never ever literally ever happen again.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_00]: I will never get a single player wrong into any of my rankings videos promised.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_00]: So, Pickins to me is definitely in between the hold and sell, and would have no problem if you wanted to sell them.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_00]: Because honestly, I don't think Pickins, unlike some of the other guys, I don't necessarily think you're really selling low.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_00]: I think most people that walk into a Pickins opportunity are walking in being like, yeah, I'm buying him, and he's going to be fine rest of season.
- 12:55[SPEAKER_00]: Which you probably will, but I don't think his name cache is really lost a lot of juice.
- 12:58[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we're moving to Puka, Nukuwa.
- 13:01[SPEAKER_00]: This is obviously a very tricky situation to figure out with Puka, given the injury.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_00]: You know, he had the so-as he was dealing with throughout the summer, and now he had a little bit of like a growing flare-up that caused him to miss week two.
- 13:13[SPEAKER_00]: So, from my understanding, he does not have a sports hernia.
- 13:16[SPEAKER_00]: However, there are some like early onset symptoms that if he pushes this, it could turn into that.
- 13:23[SPEAKER_00]: And the Rams are obviously being very, very cautious with that and don't want that to happen.
- 13:28[SPEAKER_00]: John McVay came out and made a very, very spooky statement this week saying that he does not see progress happening for Puka so far.
- 13:36[SPEAKER_00]: So it's looking like he's almost definitely going to miss week three.
- 13:39[SPEAKER_00]: And honestly, I would be surprised if this does not turn into a relatively extended absence here.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_00]: So the Puka injury or the Puka status is in my opinion really going to depend on where you're at right now in your league.
- 13:50[SPEAKER_00]: This is not a black and white or a vacuum answer.
- 13:53[SPEAKER_00]: I think if you're in a really good spot, I think you're okay sending offers for Puka if you can, you know, if you have depth.
- 14:01[SPEAKER_00]: if you're 2-0, if you have a lot of points scored, like it's something I might think about in your idiot league mates, where I am 2-0 with the most points scored, and Puka is going to be sitting on a team who's 1-2 right now, it's like it makes sense to flip those types of players.
- 14:13[SPEAKER_00]: I have Nico on my bench actually, and that's a player that I might try to do some sort of
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: maneuver four.
- 14:18[SPEAKER_00]: I think the Rams are clearly playing for the long game here.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_00]: They know that it's going to be very hard to win a championship without Pook and Akua.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_00]: They know that they have very high odds to win a championship.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_00]: They're rushing back right now and he ends up missing the entirety of the year.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: They're odds fall dramatically.
- 14:31[SPEAKER_00]: So I think they're going to slow play this very, very drastically.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_00]: If you are in a big hole right now in fantasy, like obviously you're going to need production.
- 14:38[SPEAKER_00]: You're going to need your team to start moving.
- 14:40[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have a very, very strong read on how long Pook is going to be out for.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anyone really does.
- 14:45[SPEAKER_00]: But if I have him in my mind, I'm like, yeah, he's out for week three.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_00]: I would probably lean out for week four, week five, maybe we're 50, 50, closer to playing in week six type of thing.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_00]: So I think there's a chance you're without him for a couple of weeks.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_00]: Is this scary buying into a player that is out for that long?
- 15:01[SPEAKER_00]: And might re-indriate, absolutely, of course.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: But you play fantasy football to win championships.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: And he's obviously a type of dude that,
- 15:07[SPEAKER_00]: can do that for you.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_00]: So if they sit them out for a while and you could throw them into your IR spot.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_00]: And again, you've got that kind of luck, that kind of luxury.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_00]: I would go for it other than that.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_00]: He's not going to be a buy for me.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_00]: I do think you have to have a very, very select type of team in order to make the purchase on Pook and Akkuas.
- 15:23[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're struggling right now, I see have no problem getting rid of Pook and Akkuas.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_00]: There's no real skill.
- 15:27[SPEAKER_00]: There's no black and white when it comes to fantasy players.
- 15:29[SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we'll come on here and I'll give you
- 15:30[SPEAKER_00]: by genuine take and the best way that I can explain it, but at the end of the day, a lot of these decisions are coin flips and a lot of things happen to the course of the season that make a player or break a player.
- 15:40[SPEAKER_00]: And yes, like Puka has the upside to be able to win you a championship down the stretch, but any player who is currently injured within the season also has a higher likelihood to re-injure that thing that is currently injured.
- 15:50[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're risk-averse, you feel like your your team is is fine and you don't want to mess things up, that's fine as well.
- 15:56[SPEAKER_00]: I think you ought to be in a luxury spot to go after Pook and Akua though, and I would not sell him for like pennies on the dollar.
- 16:02[SPEAKER_00]: If you're selling Pook, try to at least get like 80 cents on the dollar back.
- 16:06[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Josh Downs of the Indianapolis Colts.
- 16:09[SPEAKER_00]: Now we have Alec Pierce out for the next, I think, four to six weeks pretty much as the projected timeline.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_00]: So, Josh Downs is going to step into a very big role.
- 16:17[SPEAKER_00]: He and Ann Allen, who was projected to have a sizable role, has really not looked
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: Good.
- 16:21[SPEAKER_00]: And this passing game is not really look good.
- 16:23[SPEAKER_00]: Tyler Warren hasn't really exploded.
- 16:24[SPEAKER_00]: I think it's just a product of, you know, Daniel Jones probably coming back down to earth a little bit coming off the Achilles tear and Josh downs has been a favorite of mine for a while now.
- 16:32[SPEAKER_00]: You know, a lot of videos is somewhere I talked about how he was one of the players that I, you know, really thought was a great draft pick in that like round seven round eight area.
- 16:40[SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's been a pure run out for him in terms of players leaving in terms of injuries happening on the team and now he's got to run away of kind of getting it done.
- 16:48[SPEAKER_00]: What I would say for Josh Downs is like, at this very moment, I'm probably not trying to do anything with him, he's someone that I think I'm going to be a little bit more reactionary to because there's so many moving parts here, and what's important to note is like he's going to be forced into an every-down role, but he's still a slot receiver, like he's still running 75% of his routes.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_00]: from the slot, and I still have a little bit of trepidation or worry that, you know, if Alpierce does get healthy in six weeks, and they do find something in somebody else.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_00]: I know this is a crazy take, but like, if LeCaw on Treadwell, who played well last week, ends up like making a role for himself, I think there's a world where they just don't really want to use Josh downs on the exterior, and he does get pigeonholed back into that slot only role.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that happened over the next four to six weeks, absolutely not, but it could happen down the stretch where fantasy seasons matter.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_00]: So I will say if I own downs and someone's looking to buy him someone's looking to buy high, I'm perfectly fine selling.
- 17:39[SPEAKER_00]: Like I would take Matthew Golden over Josh downs or SFCs and no doubt about it.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: But when I said reactionary, it's because they play the Texans into week three.
- 17:47[SPEAKER_00]: So if you could sell him now, I'm fine with that.
- 17:50[SPEAKER_00]: They play the Texans.
- 17:51[SPEAKER_00]: They could struggle through the air there.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_00]: Downs will have a very high weekly floor because he's going to see a lot of targets and he'll go like four for 40.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_00]: even on a bad day.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_00]: I do just question what is overall ceiling is going to be like I don't know that you can game plan an entire passing game around Josh downs who's, you know, 180 pounds.
- 18:07[SPEAKER_00]: After Houston, they do play Washington and then they play Pittsburgh and then they play Tennessee.
- 18:11[SPEAKER_00]: So the matchup's got a little bit better.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: Might be a better selling opportunity.
- 18:15[SPEAKER_00]: Overall, I think we're less likely to see ceiling games out of Josh Downs than we're hoping for.
- 18:19[SPEAKER_00]: I think we're more likely to be maybe a little bit disappointed.
- 18:22[SPEAKER_00]: He'll probably be fine for you.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_00]: He'll probably put up Y-Receiver 3 numbers for you for the next month or so.
- 18:27[SPEAKER_00]: But I do think if and when Indy starts to get a little bit healthier and figure out their passing game and their receiver rolls and everything like Josh Downs will probably go back to the normal Y-Receiver 3 flex range.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_00]: So if you're able to flip him now for a receiver that's clearly like young and ascending, I would probably make that move.
- 18:44[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Baseball 2 and first running back on this list, Jacksonville Jaguars, and 2nd to me is a pretty screaming buy because he hasn't really had like a blowup game yet, and I think some of it is game scripts, some of it is matchup based like week one, they blew Cleveland out, week two, they're playing against a very, very difficult Denver defense, Baseball 2 and did score the touchdown though, but he is just outplaying Chris Rodriguez by a wide margin, getting a lot more calories, looks a lot more explosive, but hasn't had the big run yet, hasn't had the big screen yet, hasn't had big like past catching days yet,
- 19:13[SPEAKER_00]: But the overall set of it is like, yo, he's very much like the one here in a very, very, very good offense that you want pieces to be attached to.
- 19:20[SPEAKER_00]: Will it always be pretty?
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: Probably not.
- 19:22[SPEAKER_00]: It's Chris Rodriguez going to get zero carries going forward.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_00]: No, but he's only gotten, you know, barely double to Jakari's through two games so far.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_00]: So they clearly like to.
- 19:30[SPEAKER_00]: And they clearly have a thing with two in.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_00]: It'll be inconsistent because he's not the best in between the tackles runner.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_00]: But he is very explosive.
- 19:36[SPEAKER_00]: And we haven't seen those explosive plays come to fruition yet.
- 19:42[SPEAKER_00]: better and better and better, and I think it will continue to increase, so base all two and is definitely a buy for me.
- 19:46[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we've got Travis ETN.
- 19:48[SPEAKER_00]: Now, he is my RB2 and your idiot league mate.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_00]: He is the biggest glaring hole on my roster by far.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_00]: It has been ugly.
- 19:54[SPEAKER_00]: Week one, he split carries pretty much down the middle of the Kendrae Miller while Alvin Camaro is out.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_00]: And that was why we liked him in the summer.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: Like, Camaro is going to miss a bunch of time.
- 20:01[SPEAKER_00]: ETN is going to be the bell cow.
- 20:03[SPEAKER_00]: Neither of those things were correct, so shout out to me for that one.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_00]: But like I said, guaranteed nothing ever wrong again for the rest of my life.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_00]: Kamara in week two is active, they made Kendra a healthy scratch, but then they gave Kamara a bunch of opportunities a bunch of past catching downs and all that kind of stuff.
- 20:18[SPEAKER_00]: ATM has been limited this week, both Wednesday and Thursday with a hamstring strain.
- 20:22[SPEAKER_00]: It was good to see with something hamstring related.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I was nervous.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_00]: It was like an eco-colon situation because a lot of times when you see a limited practice with like a hamstring on a Wednesday, it means like they started practice fine injured it and then didn't finish, meaning they were limited in practice.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_00]: But the fact that he ended up getting in another limited practice on Thursday, let's me know that it was either very minor or it was, you know, a very minor tweak on Sunday's game that they're just kind of like letting him slow roll into it.
- 20:51[SPEAKER_00]: So have to keep an eye on his status for week three, but it does seem like it is trending in the right direction for him to play.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_00]: That being said, like you can't sell him.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_00]: No one wants Travis ETN right now.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: He would definitely be more of a buyer hold.
- 21:04[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not excited to buy on right now.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_00]: There's been almost nothing on paper that would point towards like, yeah, great things are ahead for him.
- 21:12[SPEAKER_00]: They gave him the money, but they're not giving him the touches right now.
- 21:15[SPEAKER_00]: Overall, I have faith in the New Orleans offense right now.
- 21:17[SPEAKER_00]: They look really good.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_00]: Their schedule is amazing.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_00]: They continue to have a lot of plays piling up in that offense.
- 21:22[SPEAKER_00]: So I have them.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_00]: I don't plan on doing anything with them unless someone comes in with like a blazing offer that I'm like, okay, you're just like buying him at ETM price.
- 21:29[SPEAKER_00]: I'm holding on to ETM.
- 21:30[SPEAKER_00]: They're going to be better days ahead.
- 21:31[SPEAKER_00]: Something in this running back group is going to normalize.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: We're going to figure it out over the course of a month right now.
- 21:36[SPEAKER_00]: It's like up and down.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_00]: We have different game scripts.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_00]: We have different opponents.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: We have Kendrae in.
- 21:40[SPEAKER_00]: We have Alvin Kamara in.
- 21:42[SPEAKER_00]: Let's just let's let the tides neutralize a little bit here.
- 21:45[SPEAKER_00]: ETM for me is a hold.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_00]: I understand if you don't want to play him in upcoming matchups if they're tough.
- 21:50[SPEAKER_00]: Totally understandable.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_00]: But some of us idiots who drafted him is there would be two half the roll them out in their lineup, unfortunately.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_00]: So ET ends a hold.
- 21:57[SPEAKER_00]: Next up, we got Matthew Golden.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_00]: Now I already kind of spoke about him with the Josh Downs thing.
- 22:01[SPEAKER_00]: Golden to me, you know, you're going to be buying high, especially after last night.
- 22:05[SPEAKER_00]: But he would be much more of a buyer hold.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_00]: Like I just think you have such a good run out for him.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_00]: He was a dude so funny dude.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, I made a dynasty.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_00]: I didn't make dynasty content this all season, but I did like the previous three or four summers.
- 22:16[SPEAKER_00]: I continuously.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_00]: made myself very high on the Texas wide receivers that kept coming out.
- 22:20[SPEAKER_00]: I love that and I Mitchell.
- 22:21[SPEAKER_00]: I love Matthew Golden and I hated Xavier Worthy and all those runouts looked terrible in the first year of all their careers.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_00]: Like Xavier Worthy that first fucking game he had two touchdowns on my goddamit.
- 22:32[SPEAKER_00]: I literally went over three.
- 22:33[SPEAKER_00]: Now we're like two, three years into their careers.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_00]: I'm like, I think I went three for three on that one.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: 80 Mitchell's good.
- 22:38[SPEAKER_00]: We still have to see him kind of like come to fruition, but I love Matthew Golden's tape coming out.
- 22:42[SPEAKER_00]: And now, with Jayden Reed injured and likely out for a very long period of the season, the target tree is so, so condensed between him and Christian Watson.
- 22:51[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I do think Tucker craft will continue to get healthier, continue to see more involvement in this offense.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: He hasn't had any big plays.
- 22:58[SPEAKER_00]: It's not scoring touchdowns yet.
- 22:59[SPEAKER_00]: But the target tree is just
- 23:02[SPEAKER_00]: And the way they're playing every single play is basically like Jordan love throws it 40 yards down field or he gets pressure in two seconds and sending complete pass or they run the ball for two yards.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_00]: So if you have Christian Watson or Matthew Golden like they are golden like they are holding onto those assets like gold right now just have them in your lineup and let them run free.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_00]: They are getting so many targets the target share between the two of them is so high and I think they're both just very good receivers right now and paired with the way Jordan love is playing right now just chucking it down field.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: beautiful.
- 23:32[SPEAKER_00]: Just looking at some of the numbers here, both of them have a 27% target share.
- 23:36[SPEAKER_00]: Those are wide receiver one numbers.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_00]: So you're talking about two guys coming out of for 54% of the targets, eight dots of 12.6 and 12.5 Watson and Matthew Golden, 33% of the teams, Ariards, both of them have exactly 33% of the teams, Ariards, 40% of the end zone targets, 32% of third and fourth down targets, man.
- 23:56[SPEAKER_00]: They are like, yeah, I just I love both of them.
- 24:00[SPEAKER_00]: Again, if you can flip down for Golden, I don't know how realistic that is to be honest with you, but I would do that in a heartbeat.
- 24:05[SPEAKER_00]: And then the last player we have, Devon, A, Shen, number 10.
- 24:09[SPEAKER_00]: If you guys have been following my content this summer, you know that I was not high on H&K coming into the season.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_00]: Most people in the industry, I don't think worse.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_00]: So this is going to be an easy either hold or sell.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_00]: If you can get some sort of name cache a value for H&K, I would definitely be looking to move off of him.
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: Of course,
- 24:25[SPEAKER_00]: He's a great player.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_00]: We'll make the plays eventually.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_00]: We'll score touchdowns this season, but the concern was always like, yeah, we could see a year where HN legitimately scores five touchdowns.
- 24:34[SPEAKER_00]: That's not at the range of possibilities with the lack of scoring that we're going to see from Miami and his offense.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_00]: We'll like Willis not putting up massive days.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: He's running the ball.
- 24:44[SPEAKER_00]: It doesn't check down as much.
- 24:45[SPEAKER_00]: So HN's target numbers are down.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_00]: The rushing efficiency is in good.
- 24:49[SPEAKER_00]: The goal and opportunities are nil right now.
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: So like,
- 24:51[SPEAKER_00]: There's not much good other than like you know he's a really explosive player and will eventually have explosive games, but I am I am totally fine moving off of HN.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_00]: I know this is going to sound crazy, but like I think something like HN for the tuba hovered plus if you can get that done would probably do that in a harpy.
- 25:09[SPEAKER_00]: I think tuba's just in a beautiful run out right now obviously doesn't have like the game to game ceiling that he.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, that H and does, but the scoring opportunities for Chuba are going to be a lot higher.
- 25:18[SPEAKER_00]: When that back guilt condenses, they have huge games.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_00]: And we've already seen him play really well.
- 25:22[SPEAKER_00]: And obviously Jonathan Brooks is out for quite a while here.
- 25:24[SPEAKER_00]: So that would be one H and to me, like, I think right now he's on par, he's probably ahead of like, camscatabob, but that's around like where I'm, I'm probably ranking him rest of season.
- 25:34[SPEAKER_00]: He's like a little bit above that, but he's not Ash and Gentie anymore.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_00]: He's not James Cook anymore.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_00]: Now, I mentioned if you stay till the end of the video, I would throw out a couple of names that I do like right now.
- 25:48[SPEAKER_00]: We actually mentioned one already, and I was Tucker Crab, the Titan 4, the Green Bay Packers.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_00]: The good news is this, like we didn't know how long it would take him to ramp up and run the routes and be out on the field.
- 25:59[SPEAKER_00]: That didn't take very long, like he was a little suppressed in week one, and he's no longer suppressed.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_00]: he's running, you know, the majority of routes in this offense right now over the last two weeks.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_00]: So he's become a full-time player.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_00]: A lot of their other tight ends are on IR and just missing significant time.
- 26:15[SPEAKER_00]: I think the biggest boost is Jayden Reed being out.
- 26:17[SPEAKER_00]: And now we have basically three games of poor play from Tucker craft.
- 26:21[SPEAKER_00]: Has he looked good?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_00]: You know, legitimately, no he is not, but I still think he's going to need a minute to get his legs under him.
- 26:27[SPEAKER_00]: He's performed poorly, so now feels like a good time to buy Tucker Craft who, again, like I want pieces of this very condensed target tree, whether it's Watson, whether it's golden, whether it's craft and craft is going to be the easiest player to buy right now.
- 26:42[SPEAKER_00]: Better days are going to come.
- 26:43[SPEAKER_00]: I think they're going to continue to think about how they get the ball out of Jordan Loves' hands quite
- 26:47[SPEAKER_00]: quickly and we did see that last night against the Falcons, they tried to get it into craft hands.
- 26:51[SPEAKER_00]: Quickly, his yak clearly not back there, but I do think, you know, week five, week six, we're going to start to see Tucker craft like really ramp back up to the player that he was last year.
- 26:59[SPEAKER_00]: So, craft is definitely a buy-low for me.
- 27:01[SPEAKER_00]: The next one, very boring.
- 27:02[SPEAKER_00]: Y'all not kind of like this one, but Jacobi Myers on the Jacksonville Jaguars.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_00]: The reason I say that is because he is running the most routes of any receiver.
- 27:09[SPEAKER_00]: Like Parker Washington, clear out for clear number one, obviously, like top 10, maybe top six fantasy wide receiver asset going forward right now.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: Jacobi Myers running the most routes.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_00]: And again, in offense that I want to be attached to week one, they're beat in the shade of Cleveland.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_00]: They don't need to throw the ball a million times.
- 27:24[SPEAKER_00]: Week two, they're playing Denver.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: Very tough matchup.
- 27:26[SPEAKER_00]: This offense is eventually going to normalize and stabilize, there'll be a top 10 unit where they have normal game scripts, not against elite matchups, or the worst matchups, and things will look good.
- 27:35[SPEAKER_00]: BDJ clearly isn't it?
- 27:36[SPEAKER_00]: Every time he's on the field, he's dropping passes, and every time they're playing against top cornerbacks, he runs all his routes on the outside, so he has to end up being smothered by that top cornerback.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: Pewash again.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_00]: He'll eat, but Jacobi Myers' days will come.
- 27:48[SPEAKER_00]: He might be sitting on the waver wire for some of your leagues, go pick him up ASAP.
- 27:51[SPEAKER_00]: If you could throw pennies at him to grab your Kobe Myers, I think he's like the perfect long-term, bi-week villain player, offense we want to be attached to, due to clearly has chemistry with Trevor Lawrence, did last year, was the best receiver for them over the second half of the season.
- 28:04[SPEAKER_00]: I still think he's a good receiver, not getting a ton of opportunities right now, but better days ahead for your Kobe.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: Alright, so we will wrap it up there.
- 28:11[SPEAKER_00]: Thank you guys for watching this style of video.
- 28:15[SPEAKER_00]: Let me know if you prefer the Bicell hold.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: They'll probably do this once a month.
- 28:18[SPEAKER_00]: Bicell hold versus me just like giving you a list of five guys.
- 28:21[SPEAKER_00]: I think you should buy.
- 28:22[SPEAKER_00]: If I've got to think you should sell, I don't know.
- 28:24[SPEAKER_00]: You guys let me know.
- 28:25[SPEAKER_00]: I don't have like a strong take.
- 28:26[SPEAKER_00]: I guess we're feel of what direction is most valuable to you guys.
