• 0:00
Vox Liturgica: The propers of the day according to the Roman Missal before 1955. The third Sunday after Pentecost, June 14 in the year of our Lord 2026. In the name of the father and of the son and of the holy ghost. Amen.
• 0:28
  The Introit.
• 0:32
Look thou upon me, O Lord, and have mercy on me, for I am alone and poor. See my abjection and my labor, and forgive me all my sins, o my God. To thee, o Lord, have I lifted up my soul. In thee, my God, I put my trust. Let me not be ashamed.
• 0:59
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be, through all ages of ages. Amen. Look thou upon me, o Lord, and have mercy on me for I am alone and poor. See my objection and my labor and forgive me all my sins, O my God. The Collect.
• 1:33
Let us pray. O God, the protector of those who put their trust in thee without whom nothing is strong, nothing holy, multiply upon us thy mercy, that with thee as our ruler and guide, we may so pass through things temporal that we may not lose those which are eternal. Through our Lord, Jesus Christ, thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee, in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. A commemoration within the Octave of the Sacred Heart.
• 2:21
O God, whose mercy deigns to lavish upon us infinite treasures of love in thy son's heart wounded by our sins. Grant we pray thee that we may offer him devout homage, loving service, and fitting reparation through the same Jesus Christ, thy Son, our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. A lesson from the first letter of Saint Peter the Apostle. Beloved, bow down before the strong hand of God.
• 3:10
He will raise you up when his time comes to deliver you. Throw back on him the burden of all your anxiety. He is concerned for you. Be sober and watch well. The devil who is your enemy goes about roaring like a lion to find his prey.
• 3:34
But you, grounded in the faith, must face him boldly. You know well enough that the brotherhood you belong to pays all the world over the same tribute of suffering. And God, the giver of all grace, who has called us to enjoy after a little suffering, his eternal glory in Christ Jesus, will himself give you mastery and steadiness and strength. To him be glory and empire through endless ages. Amen.
• 4:20
The gradual Cast thy care upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee. When I cried to the Lord, he was not deaf to my appeal for aid against those who assail me. Alleluia. Alleluia. How just a judge God is.
• 4:44
How strong. How patient. Must he be daily provoked to anger? Hallelujah. A continuation of the holy gospel according to Luke.
• 5:01
At that time, when they found all the publicans and sinners coming to listen to Jesus, the Pharisees and scribes were indignant. Here is a man, they said, that entertains sinners and eats with them. Whereupon he told them this parable. If any of you owns a 100 sheep and has lost one of them, does he not leave the other 99 in the wilderness and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he does find it he sets it on his shoulders rejoicing and so goes home and calls his friends and his neighbors together.
• 5:54
Rejoice with me, he says to them. I have found my sheep that was lost. So it is, I tell you, in heaven. There will be more rejoicing over one sinner who repents than over 99 souls that are justified and have no need of repentance. Or if some woman has 10 silver pieces by her and has lost one of them, does she not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?
• 6:34
And when she does find it, she calls her friends and her neighbors together. Rejoice with me, she says. I have found the silver piece which I lost. So it is I tell you with the angels of God. There is joy among them over one sinner who repents.
• 7:02
The offertory. Those who know to call on thy name, O Lord, can trust in thee. Never was a man forsaken that had recourse to thee. Saying then to the Lord who dwells in Zion, he does not forget the cry of the afflicted. The secret.
• 7:30
Look, O Lord, upon the gifts of thy suppliant church and grant that all who receive them with faith may draw nearer to salvation by steady growth in holiness through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God, through all ages of ages. Amen. A commemoration within the Octave of the Sacred Heart. Give heed, we pray thee, O Lord, to the unutterable love in thy dear son's heart. Let our offering be a gift accepted by thee and an atonement for our sins.
• 8:23
Through the same Jesus Christ, thy son, our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages. Amen. The preface of the Most Holy Trinity. Just it is and fitting, right in for our salvation, that we should at all times and in all places give thanks unto thee, o holy Lord, father almighty, everlasting God, who together with thine only begotten son in the Holy Ghost art one God, one Lord, not in the oneness of a single person, but in the trinity of one substance. For what by the revelation we believe of thy glory, the same do we believe of thy son, the same of the Holy Ghost without difference or separation so that in confessing the true and eternal godhead, distinction in persons, unity in essence, and equality in majesty may be adored.
• 9:39
In praise of which the angels and archangels the cherubim also and Seraphim day by day exalt without end with one voice saying holy, holy, holy, Lord God of hosts. The heavens and the earth are full of thy glory. Hosanna in the highest. Blessed is he who comes in the name of the lord. Hosanna in the highest.
• 10:16
The communion. This I tell you, there is joy among the angels of God over one sinner who repents. The post communion. Let us pray. May thy holy gifts, O Lord, which we have received, give us life and purify us and prepare us for thine everlasting mercy through our Lord Jesus Christ, thy Son, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages.
• 11:05
Amen. A commemoration within the octave of the Sacred Heart. May thy holy mysteries, o Lord Jesus, impart to us divine fervor wherein we may taste the sweetness of thy most loving heart and learn to despise what is earthly and love what is heavenly. Who livest and reignest with God the father in the unity of the Holy Ghost, God through all ages of ages. Amen.
• 11:48
In the name of the father, and of the son, and of the holy ghost. Amen. Thanks be to God.
