  [SPEAKER_00]: Like I think he averaged less than a catch and less than five yards per first quarter in twenty twenty four Liam Cohen's going to fix that to folks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But right now we're talking about Travis ETN and I think he can smash and I think he can be one of the really big parts of

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, twenty twenty six will be his final year of his rookie deal, but they would still have tank bigs beyond their contract for twenty twenty six.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And twenty twenty two is essentially rookie year after missing twenty twenty one with the list Frank injury over fifteen hundred rushing and receiving arts combined.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I want to so like the efficiency numbers were pretty strong for him but a lot of that came on chunk plays.

  [SPEAKER_00]: because even in twenty twenty two when the Jaguar's offense got humming like there was still a lot of inconsistency in the run blocking and run game department.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In twenty twenty three again over fifteen hundred rushing and receiving arts combined that's two years to start his career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: fifteen hundred rushing and receiving yards combined in each of those two seasons in twenty twenty twenty twenty three there were people after and not just people the espn you know annual rankings like that poll scouts coaches executives and by no mean are these rankings flawless i mean the adlimar jackson as i think the fourth quarterback uh... this year so obviously not flawless but still a large group of high ranking

  [SPEAKER_00]: Folks in the NFL had Travis ETN as a top ten back after the twenty twenty three season heading into twenty twenty four.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a down here though twenty twenty four was a down here for Travis ETN.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a down here for everyone on the Jaguar's offense not name Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was not pretty.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And there's a lot that goes into that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Talk about the dysfunction and the building, the lack of energy excitement, juice, the lack of play calling, creativity, evolving the offense was not happening.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Twenty-twenty-two, the Doug Peterson offense in Jacksonville, peaked.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really don't know if it was losing Jim Bob Cudder or what, but, or like,

  [SPEAKER_00]: that in conjunction with, you know, press Taylor taking on more of the play calling duty.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't horrible, but like the passing game got stagnant in twenty twenty three and then it, it bought them now in twenty twenty four from a route concept standpoint, you know, play sequencing we talk about a good bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And there was a lot of injuries as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So again, last year, twenty twenty four, it was a down year for everyone not named Brian Thomas Jr.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think in this new offense and this new situation, Travis ETN is going to smash.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, he's in a contract year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And contract years, they're not undefeated.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that hit rate is extremely high.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When you talk about players going into contract years, having a big, big season, especially when you talk about going into that second contract.

  [SPEAKER_00]: For most players, that second contract is the big opportunity to cash in.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And running backs don't get paid the way they probably should.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They don't get paid the way a lot of other positions get paid.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But you can still have that biggest contract of your career

  [SPEAKER_00]: by a wide margin going into that second contract.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So the reason beyond the contract of year that I think Travis E.T.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and is going to smash beyond the fact that he smashed and two out of the three years he's been healthy and Jacksonville is Liam Cohen and the talent around him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen thrives at creating space in the run game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And one thing I've told y'all consistently, even though I don't think that the interior of the offensive line is like, as impressive as it could be, based on the resources the Jaguar has had, I do think it's tough, it's gritty, it has enough functional athleticism in the run game, and guys that will finish through the whistle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think they are going to be a better run blocking unit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Liam Cohen, he thrives at creating space in general, but in the run game especially,

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've talked about this.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He does it with motions, misdirection, you know, getting the defense flowing one direction and then hitting them in the other direction.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He does it via the numbers game, you know, you'll see pre-snap movement and at the snap movement of offensive linemen, of tight ends often, of blockers in general, whether that be a tight end and offensive linemen or a seaver or running back, play sequencing.

  [SPEAKER_00]: tendency breakers, just the spacing of the offense, the wild amount of different formations he can present to you and doing the same things from those different formations.

  [SPEAKER_00]: but doing any other way that's pretty confusing for the defense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, the illusion of complexity they always talk about with this with this offense.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think all that stuff is going to help out most of the scope position players, but I think it's really going to help out Travis E.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: because you give Travis E.T.N space and he is going to go back and watch the tape to urge go back and watch his highlights.

  [SPEAKER_00]: When he has space, he's one of the most dangerous backs in the league.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And space is exactly what?

  [SPEAKER_00]: Bucky Irving and Rashad White were given in the Bucks offense last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So many of Bucky Irving's impressive runs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We're impressive because of Bucky Irving, but the reason he got into the position, oftentimes, to beat people in space, is the space that he was given to start the play.

  [SPEAKER_00]: the rushing lanes.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you see so many rushing lanes on the buck's tape that are just so large and you're like Travis ETN, I mean, he's been begging for this type of offense, begging to have that much space to run through, that much green grass, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: And bucky Irving.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As a rookie last year, he had over fifteen hundred yards rushing or receiving combined.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Over a thousand yards on the ground, three hundred something yards close to four hundred yards receiving.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Rashad White was still heavily involved.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The buck's running backs caught over a hundred passes last year, combined.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think eating in can pick up a lot of that work.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he came to the same thing the buckierving did last year and

  [SPEAKER_00]: elephant in the room might be pass blocking.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, every single back in the Jaguar's backfield last year had their worst season as pass blockers in pass protection.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That is not a coincidence.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That is coaching.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Travis ETN was never a great pass protector.

  [SPEAKER_00]: in twenty-twenty-twenty-twenty-three, but he was a passable past protector.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's exactly what Bucky Irving was last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You had Rashad White, who's very good in past protection, and very good as a receiver.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Lee Quinn Allen, I think, can fill that role as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think E.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: can be passable enough in past protection

  [SPEAKER_00]: to be able to have a big impact in the passing game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: As a receiver out of the backfield, as someone who you get him in man coverage against the linebacker, good luck.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then when he has the ball in his hands in space, get to the open field, he eats up yards.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is such an unbelievable accelerator.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He runs through arm tackles, he can throw the stiff arm, he can spin, he can throttle up and down, and he can get so low to the ground, it really reduces the stragg zone for defenders, and then he can bend really well at full speed, which just makes it so difficult to get him down.

  [SPEAKER_00]: is dependent on having a little bit of space to work with.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think that's exactly what he's going to be given in twenty twenty five.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It is easy to forget how productive he was in twenty twenty twenty twenty three and twenty twenty three not only did he have the fifteen hundred plus total yards.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Second in the NFL and missed tackles forced and twenty twenty two he was fourth in the NFL and missed tackles forced with over fifteen hundred yards.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, a down year in twenty twenty four does not define a career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's going to define Travis E. T. N's career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He came to Travis E. T. N's defense when you heard some rumors about him potentially getting traded.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Liam Cohen kind of said he had had enough of that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He didn't know where that's coming from and they plan on using him and utilizing that skill set.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so I'm really fired up to see him because I think he's a guy that

  [SPEAKER_00]: had so many fans before twenty twenty four in Jacksonville.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And you know, fans can be fickle and I get it.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It was a disappointing year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All that stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This guy can still play.
