- 0:06Speaker 1: close look at President Trump's Iran team. They're working on
- 0:10Speaker 1: a deal. And despite the nonsense you're hearing.
- 0:12Speaker 2: In the media, oh, J.D.
- 0:13Speaker 1: Vance and Marco Rubio and Donald Trump, they're all headed
- 0:15Speaker 1: in different directions. Now, they're all on the same page, actually.
- 0:19Speaker 1: They're fighting for the country. They're trying to secure a peace.
- 0:22Speaker 1: I will give you the latest on that subject, including
- 0:25Speaker 1: the breaking news from the president of the United States.
- 0:27Speaker 1: This morning, there's always breaking news from the president Of
- 0:30Speaker 1: the United States. Also coming up on the program today,
- 0:32Speaker 1: we are going to get into the details of a
- 0:36Speaker 1: just emerging scandal, yet another one, from the Biden administration.
- 0:40Speaker 1: And this involves the death of American citizens and the
- 0:44Speaker 1: Biden administration's knowledge that it was happening and they didn't
- 0:47Speaker 1: do anything about it. I've got brand new details. These
- 0:51Speaker 1: are just breaking. We'll talk about them coming up on
- 0:54Speaker 1: the program. We'll be joined by a very great guest
- 0:56Speaker 1: on that subject, Tristan Levitt. He'll discuss the details of it.
- 1:00Speaker 1: A lot emerging on that and so much more all

- 1:14Speaker 1: As you get older, your sleep changes.
- 1:16Speaker 3: It does.
- 1:17Speaker 1: In your early 20s, you can stay up too late,
- 1:19Speaker 1: maybe get four or five hours of sleep, grab a coffee,
- 1:21Speaker 1: and then somehow still function the next day. Then somewhere
- 1:24Speaker 1: in your 30s, you know, sleep stops being optional because
- 1:28Speaker 1: you feel it when it's off, don't you? your brain fog,
- 1:30Speaker 1: shorter patience, sluggish workouts, slapping Josh around for no reason.
- 1:35Speaker 1: For me, falling asleep was never the issue. It was
- 1:38Speaker 1: the staying asleep. And this is why I started using
- 1:41Speaker 1: Beam's Dream Powder. And man, what a difference. It gives
- 1:43Speaker 1: me real restorative sleep. Dream is made with a powerful

- 2:39Speaker 1: Got the interview threads on today. We're going to be
- 2:41Speaker 1: talking to Tristan Levitt coming up, who represents all of
- 2:44Speaker 1: these whistleblowers who've had some very, very important stories to share.
- 2:49Speaker 1: And Tristan helps them do it. He'll talk to us
- 2:51Speaker 1: this morning. If you are not attuned to this story,
- 2:54Speaker 1: just to give you a really quick summary of it. So, again,
- 2:57Speaker 1: you can tell some friends, let people know, especially if
- 3:00Speaker 1: you're watching the live broadcast this morning, live always at
- 3:02Speaker 1: 8 a.m. Rumble dot com slash Vince. Get the word out,
- 3:06Speaker 1: because coming up this hour, really near the bottom of
- 3:08Speaker 1: the hour, we're going to be talking to Tristan Levitt
- 3:11Speaker 1: about what I'm referring to as Operation Fentanyl and Furious.
- 3:15Speaker 1: Operation Fentanyl and Furious. Now, that is not, as far
- 3:18Speaker 1: as I'm aware, the actual official government name, but this
- 3:21Speaker 1: reminds me so much of Operation Fast and Furious. For
- 3:25Speaker 1: those of you old enough to remember, back during the
- 3:28Speaker 1: Obama era, Obama allowed the A bunch of guns to be, quote,
- 3:33Speaker 1: walked into Mexico. In other words, the Obama administration was
- 3:37Speaker 1: aware that all these weapons were being sold to the
- 3:40Speaker 1: cartels and they let it happen anyway. The theory was, well,
- 3:44Speaker 1: we can track them. If they go that way, we
- 3:46Speaker 1: can track them. And then, of course, they lost track
- 3:49Speaker 1: of them. And then one of those guns ended up
- 3:51Speaker 1: being brought back into the United States of America and
- 3:54Speaker 1: used to kill a Border Patrol agent by the name
- 3:56Speaker 1: of Brian Terry. Do you guys remember all of this? Yeah,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Operation Fast and Furious. It led to Eric Holder, the
- 4:04Speaker 1: Attorney General of the United States, being held in contempt
- 4:07Speaker 1: of Congress. And yet, of course, no consequences for him
- 4:11Speaker 1: criminally because he was the Attorney General and he was
- 4:14Speaker 1: insulated from criminal consequences because he was literally above the law.
- 4:18Speaker 1: He was above the law. The left tells us all
- 4:20Speaker 1: the time, nobody's above the law. Yeah, Democrats are. Democrats
- 4:23Speaker 1: are constantly above the law, especially when they control the
- 4:25Speaker 1: levers of power. That was Operation Fast and Furious. So
- 4:29Speaker 1: now we have Operation Fentanyl and Furious. The Biden administration was,
- 4:34Speaker 1: according to an Associated Press report and our guest coming up,
- 4:37Speaker 1: Tristan Levitt, the Biden administration was aware that, what's the number?
- 4:42Speaker 1: Hundreds of thousands of fentanyl pills were pouring into the
- 4:46Speaker 1: United States of America. They knew where the drugs were,
- 4:51Speaker 1: down to the shipment. They knew exactly which shipments had
- 4:54Speaker 1: the drugs. They let them come in.
- 4:57Speaker 6: Why?
- 4:58Speaker 1: They claimed they wanted to use it for law enforcement
- 5:01Speaker 1: purposes to keep tracking the flow of fentanyl.
- 5:04Speaker 2: What?
- 5:06Speaker 1: You know that hundreds of thousands of pills, that means
- 5:08Speaker 1: that Americans were being poisoned and killed by this. Yeah,
- 5:12Speaker 1: we've got a very big scandal right now developing. We'll
- 5:16Speaker 1: get to the bottom of some more of it coming
- 5:18Speaker 1: up with Tristan Levitt. That's the bottom of the hour.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Do alert your friends about what we're up to because...
- 5:23Speaker 1: I think we're at the beginning of a massive, massive story,
- 5:26Speaker 1: and you're going to want to be here for it. OK,
- 5:29Speaker 1: we'll get to more of that coming up. But first,
- 5:32Speaker 1: what a difference a brain makes, huh? I told you
- 5:34Speaker 1: what a difference a vice president makes. We were talking
- 5:36Speaker 1: at some length about this yesterday. But just what a
- 5:39Speaker 1: breath of fresh air J.D. Vance has been as vice
- 5:41Speaker 1: president of the United States. Compare and contrast J.D. Vance
- 5:44Speaker 1: to Kamala freaking Harris. who barely knows how to get
- 5:48Speaker 1: to the end of a sentence. Meanwhile, J.D. Vance is
- 5:51Speaker 1: trying to get to the end of a war with
- 5:53Speaker 1: Iran that is stretched on in fits and starts for
- 5:56Speaker 1: 47 years. What a difference a vice president makes. And yesterday,
- 6:00Speaker 1: the president of the United States got into some of
- 6:03Speaker 1: the details on this. He said, what a difference. He
- 6:05Speaker 1: truly said this. What a difference a brain makes. Watch
- 6:08Speaker 1: President Trump from the Oval Office.
- 6:11Speaker 6: The Press.
- 6:18Speaker 3: I think that they're doing a fantastic job. Our Secretary
- 6:21Speaker 3: is fantastic. I think he's maybe going to go down
- 6:23Speaker 3: as the best ever.
- 6:24Speaker 5: And I thought J.D.
- 6:25Speaker 3: Vance this morning was fantastic. I watched his news conference.
- 6:29Speaker 3: And from Switzerland, he's a very smart guy. He did
- 6:33Speaker 3: a great job. You know, when I look at the Democrats,
- 6:37Speaker 3: I call them the Democrats. They're dumb.
- 6:39Speaker 2: They're Democrats.
- 6:39Speaker 3: When I watched that, where one of them thought it
- 6:43Speaker 3: was World War XI. She said, World War XI. She
- 6:46Speaker 3: read World War II.
- 6:47Speaker 2: You know about that, right?
- 6:48Speaker 3: This is one of their potential leaders, Ilhan Omar, who
- 6:52Speaker 3: married her brother to get into the country, by the way, illegally.
- 6:55Speaker 3: But when I watch AOC have no idea what a
- 7:01Speaker 3: simple question, what happened? When she was over in Switzerland,
- 7:05Speaker 3: which she probably never went there before, and then I
- 7:08Speaker 3: watched somebody like J.D. or Marco, I said, what a difference.
- 7:14Speaker 3: What a difference. What a difference a brain makes.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Hey, Josh, I think we might need that clip on standby, brother.
- 7:23Speaker 1: What a difference a brain makes.
- 7:25Speaker 4: What a difference.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Oh, man, that's funny. Whenever I think of the left,
- 7:31Speaker 1: I think back to, remember Young Frankenstein? Remember the movie,
- 7:34Speaker 1: Young Frankenstein? Abbey Normal is the name, is the brain
- 7:40Speaker 1: that Igor pulls. He goes, Abbey something? Abbey Normal? That's
- 7:48Speaker 1: a deep cut. This is for those of you who
- 7:49Speaker 1: are aware of what I'm talking about. What a difference
- 7:51Speaker 1: a brain makes.
- 7:52Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 7:53Speaker 1: No, it's good to have J.D. Vance in there. And
- 7:55Speaker 1: the president, pay attention to the top of that clip too.
- 7:57Speaker 1: The president, despite efforts to try and sow division within
- 8:00Speaker 1: the Trump administration going, I got a great team on this.
- 8:02Speaker 1: I got Marco Rubio. I got J.D. Vance. I've got
- 8:05Speaker 1: these great negotiators who are doing a wonderful job and
- 8:08Speaker 1: I'm all in on what they're up to. It's been
- 8:11Speaker 1: pretty funny though to watch, amusing for those of us
- 8:14Speaker 1: who know what we're looking at. It's been amusing to
- 8:16Speaker 1: watch people be like, I can't believe J.D. Vance is
- 8:18Speaker 1: doing this deal.
- 8:19Speaker 2: What is this J.D.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Vance deal? I was like, I think you're talking about Trump. Yeah,
- 8:23Speaker 1: he's got J.D. Vance leading the negotiating team, but you're
- 8:26Speaker 1: blaming Vance here? That's your move? Why don't you just
- 8:31Speaker 1: say you don't like what Trump is doing? Why do
- 8:33Speaker 1: you have to make this about J.D.
- 8:34Speaker 6: Vance?
- 8:35Speaker 1: What is that about? It's like you can see through it,
- 8:37Speaker 1: can't you? Yeah, we can all see through it. And
- 8:41Speaker 1: maybe take a break from crapping on everything the president's
- 8:44Speaker 1: trying to accomplish here. Let the man work. Let the
- 8:47Speaker 1: man work. You know, I've There's this great expression. Did
- 8:50Speaker 1: Dan come up with this? Our friend Dan Bongino, the doomers,
- 8:54Speaker 1: this expression, the doomers, people are always constantly shitting on everything.
- 8:57Speaker 1: Excuse me, crapping on, trying not to curse as much,
- 9:00Speaker 1: crapping on everything President Trump is doing, who are supposedly
- 9:05Speaker 1: on his side, but are crapping on everything he's trying
- 9:07Speaker 1: to do. It's a doomsday mentality. Just like, calm down,
- 9:12Speaker 1: calm down. Let the man work. There's a reason that
- 9:14Speaker 1: you and I keep voting for him. and he's got
- 9:17Speaker 1: this underway. So the president this morning has actually added
- 9:22Speaker 1: some more information on this subject, and this is what
- 9:25Speaker 1: he posts to Truth Social. I just saw this as
- 9:27Speaker 1: we were starting the show this morning. Despite their protestations
- 9:30Speaker 1: and false statements to the contrary, coupled with the drumbeat
- 9:33Speaker 1: of the fake news, which is doing everything possible to
- 9:35Speaker 1: make the U.S. victory as small and as insignificant as possible,
- 9:40Speaker 1: Iran is has fully and completely agreed to the highest
- 9:45Speaker 1: level nuclear inspections long into the future. Infinity, he says,
- 9:50Speaker 1: infinity with three exclamation points. That's a pretty good deal. Infinity.
- 9:56Speaker 1: This will ensure nuclear honesty, he writes. If they did
- 10:00Speaker 1: not agree to this, there would be no further negotiations.
- 10:03Speaker 1: Based on this and other major concessions being made by Iran,
- 10:07Speaker 1: I've agreed to allow the Hormuz Strait to remain open
- 10:10Speaker 1: with no further naval blockade. However, All ships remain in
- 10:15Speaker 1: place should it be necessary to reinstitute the blockade, which
- 10:19Speaker 1: seems at this point highly unlikely. The money and or
- 10:22Speaker 1: sanctions that the U.S. Treasury is releasing goes into escrow,
- 10:26Speaker 1: controlled by the United States, and will be used for
- 10:29Speaker 1: the purchase of food and medical supplies exclusively from the
- 10:34Speaker 1: United States, including corn, wheat, soybeans from our great American farmers.
- 10:40Speaker 1: These are things that are desperately needed by Iran. This
- 10:42Speaker 1: is a humanitarian crisis, and I feel it is necessary
- 10:45Speaker 1: to help. Now, before it's too late, talks are going well.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Thank you for your attention to this matter, President Donald J.
- 10:55Speaker 5: Trump.
- 10:55Speaker 1: So the president's saying, keep cool, my babies. Just calm.
- 10:59Speaker 1: We've got this stuff going out the door. This is
- 11:02Speaker 1: American farm product. We're using that Iranian money to purchase it,
- 11:06Speaker 1: and then we're giving it to the Iranian people. You
- 11:08Speaker 1: don't think we thought this through? You don't think we
- 11:11Speaker 1: put the effort into constructing a system that prevents terrorism?
- 11:15Speaker 1: Of course they did. It's obvious from the very beginning
- 11:19Speaker 1: that this is what this was about. Keep cool, my babies.
- 11:21Speaker 2: Keep cool.
- 11:22Speaker 1: Yes, indeed. Yes, indeed. Thank you, me, for saying that.
- 11:27Speaker 2: Josh.
- 11:27Speaker 1: Thank you, Josh. And yes, every so often my intermittent attribution,
- 11:32Speaker 1: that is a Conan O'Brien quote from Late Night with
- 11:34Speaker 1: Conan O'Brien from the early aughts. Long ago, long ago.
- 11:39Speaker 3: What a difference a brain makes.
- 11:41Speaker 1: What a difference. Wow, that was a fastball. Thank you
- 11:44Speaker 1: for that.
- 11:44Speaker 2: What a difference.
- 11:46Speaker 1: So what about the president's efforts to try and bring
- 11:50Speaker 1: peace to the region and the role that Israel plays
- 11:52Speaker 1: in that? Because clearly Israel has a huge vested interest
- 11:55Speaker 1: in this subject. Well, yesterday, Benjamin Netanyahu put out a
- 11:59Speaker 1: statement saying that the Israeli military has no restrictions in
- 12:04Speaker 1: its efforts to target Hezbollah in Lebanon. and that the
- 12:08Speaker 1: IDF will stay present there in South Lebanon to continue
- 12:12Speaker 1: to fight against Hezbollah. He's like, we're staying anyway. Basically,
- 12:16Speaker 1: the point is kind of like, I don't really care
- 12:17Speaker 1: what Trump says, we're staying. And Trump, President Trump is
- 12:22Speaker 1: trying to juggle some chainsaws here. He's not telling Israel
- 12:26Speaker 1: they can't defend themselves. He's saying, you can, you should
- 12:29Speaker 1: make it proportional to the extent that you can. We're
- 12:32Speaker 1: trying to bring down the tensions. What the president said
- 12:36Speaker 1: earlier this week or late last week is like when Hezbollah,
- 12:39Speaker 1: you know, throws a missile and it hits like a
- 12:42Speaker 1: random piece of dirt, it doesn't kill anybody. And then
- 12:45Speaker 1: Israel responds by blowing up an entire building near Beirut.
- 12:49Speaker 1: He's like, that's not proportional. Why don't we have some
- 12:52Speaker 1: proportionality here? Because we're trying to bring down the temperature.
- 12:56Speaker 1: And so yesterday, it sounds like President Trump, in the
- 12:58Speaker 1: midst of everything, he was told about Benjamin Netanyahu's statement.
- 13:03Speaker 1: And he didn't smack him around or anything. He just said, okay,
- 13:05Speaker 1: I'll look into it. I'm a problem solver. Here's the
- 13:08Speaker 1: president yesterday.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Watch.
- 13:09Speaker 3: Here's another beauty. Watch this one. Well, early today, the
- 13:12Speaker 3: Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, said his forces are not
- 13:16Speaker 3: leaving Lebanon.
- 13:17Speaker 2: That is a sticking point.
- 13:18Speaker 3: Who did he tell that to you?
- 13:20Speaker 2: He said it publicly in Israel.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Well, we're going to take a look at it.
- 13:23Speaker 2: Well, what would you do to make sure that he
- 13:24Speaker 2: doesn't sabotage me?
- 13:24Speaker 3: Well, I'm not going to tell you what I'm going
- 13:25Speaker 3: to do, but it gets solved. I'm a problem solver.
- 13:28Speaker 3: I get problems solved real fast, including with Bibi.
- 13:31Speaker 6: Go ahead.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Thank you, Mr.
- 13:32Speaker 4: President.
- 13:32Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 13:32Speaker 3: What's the latest you've heard from the Biden administration?
- 13:36Speaker 1: I love it. I love it. And this is typical Trump.
- 13:40Speaker 1: I mean, look, it doesn't matter what kind of alliance
- 13:43Speaker 1: you have with the United States, if you're the UK,
- 13:45Speaker 1: if you're Canada, Australia. Like President Trump is going to
- 13:50Speaker 1: constantly be grabbing allies and adversaries by the shirt collars
- 13:54Speaker 1: and saying, I need you to make a deal that's
- 13:56Speaker 1: good for the United States of America. This is his custom.
- 13:59Speaker 1: This is his habit. And this is how he makes deals.
- 14:03Speaker 1: And also he'll be diplomatic and polite and wonderful. And
- 14:06Speaker 1: this is, of course, he was doing that yesterday. As
- 14:08Speaker 1: he was asked this question, he didn't know about it yet.
- 14:11Speaker 1: It was all breaking. He's given Netanyahu grace and those
- 14:15Speaker 1: two will talk on the phone and figure out what
- 14:16Speaker 1: they can do. to make this work for the United States,
- 14:19Speaker 1: because that's the most important thing to us, and that's
- 14:21Speaker 1: the most important thing to the president of the United States.
- 14:24Speaker 1: And look, for Israel, a great future awaits if the
- 14:29Speaker 1: president can score a peace deal here, where the whole
- 14:32Speaker 1: Middle East is concentrated on security instead of terrorism. That
- 14:36Speaker 1: would be excellent. That's what the president's pursuing. Now, one
- 14:39Speaker 1: of the big headlines yesterday was entirely consistent with the MOU,
- 14:44Speaker 1: which is Iran can begin to sell its oil on
- 14:47Speaker 1: the international market. Now, this hurts China. I've seen some
- 14:51Speaker 1: claims that this really helps China. It doesn't help China
- 14:53Speaker 1: at all. Actually, it hurts China dramatically. And here's why.
- 14:56Speaker 1: Because Iran was selling its oil anyway under the sanctioned regime,
- 14:59Speaker 1: and they were selling 90% of the sanctioned oil to China. Now,
- 15:03Speaker 1: with Iran being able to sell on the international market,
- 15:06Speaker 1: China loses access to its share of the Iranian oil.
- 15:11Speaker 1: This is a big spillover benefit of the way this
- 15:14Speaker 1: is being arranged. And here's Scott Besson. Yesterday, he posted
- 15:18Speaker 1: on Truth Social, excuse me, on X. He posted on
- 15:23Speaker 1: X that this was happening. This is under his authorities,
- 15:27Speaker 1: the president's authorities. He said, under President Trump and the
- 15:30Speaker 1: vice president, we will continue to make the world safer
- 15:33Speaker 1: and more prosperous in line with the ongoing productive talks
- 15:36Speaker 1: in Switzerland and Iran is committed to free and open
- 15:38Speaker 1: transit in the Strait and to permit IAEA inspectors into
- 15:42Speaker 1: their country. You just heard the president this morning reiterate
- 15:44Speaker 1: that point. As part of the framework, Treasury has issued
- 15:47Speaker 1: a temporary 60-day general license authorizing the production, delivery, and
- 15:52Speaker 1: sale of Iranian oil. And what does that mean for
- 15:58Speaker 1: the rest of us? Well, it means that global energy
- 16:02Speaker 1: is going to come down in price pretty dramatically. And
- 16:05Speaker 1: when global energy prices come down, that's a huge benefit
- 16:09Speaker 1: to humanity. This is a humanitarian requirement. Cheap, abundant, plentiful
- 16:16Speaker 1: energy all over the planet. It's good for all of us.
- 16:19Speaker 1: It keeps humans alive, actually, and flourishing. And here's Kevin Hassett,
- 16:24Speaker 1: one of the president's top economic advisors this weekend, saying
- 16:27Speaker 1: that the oil is definitely flowing. The price is definitely
- 16:30Speaker 1: coming down. And this is good for all of us.
- 16:32Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 16:32Speaker 2: Cut three.
- 16:34Speaker 5: If you look at what the futures markets were saying
- 16:35Speaker 5: all along from the beginning of this episode, they pretty
- 16:40Speaker 5: much got it right. And so right now, futures markets
- 16:42Speaker 5: are saying that we're headed down into the 70s sometime soon.
- 16:46Speaker 5: People are reluctant to buy at the spot price because
- 16:49Speaker 5: they think the futures price is going to be so low.
- 16:51Speaker 5: And I can say that J.D. Vance has been on
- 16:55Speaker 5: the ball in Switzerland negotiating with the Iranians. He reports
- 16:59Speaker 5: great progress, reports that the U.N. is going to inspect Iran.
- 17:03Speaker 5: their nuclear facilities. And we're getting some of the really,
- 17:07Speaker 5: really big tankers out of the Straits now so that
- 17:10Speaker 5: the amount of oil coming through the Straits as of
- 17:13Speaker 5: the beginning of the weekend was almost as much as
- 17:15Speaker 5: we saw pre-war. So I think that right now there's
- 17:19Speaker 5: still work to do. There's still work to do. But J.D.
- 17:22Speaker 5: Vance has made a huge amount of progress. The fact
- 17:25Speaker 5: that they're open to U.N. inspectors suggests that, you know,
- 17:28Speaker 5: while the Israeli conflict with Hezbollah is something that's going
- 17:31Speaker 5: to still have to be discussed, the oil market impact
- 17:35Speaker 5: of this thing, I believe, is is most mostly resolved.
- 17:40Speaker 1: So the rigs for says in our chat that Kevin
- 17:43Speaker 1: Hassett is everyone's pastor.
- 17:46Speaker 5: He does.
- 17:47Speaker 1: He does seem kind of like a pastor, doesn't he?
- 17:50Speaker 1: But he's saying, look, that's a big deal. You tell,
- 17:52Speaker 1: did you hear him say that we're almost back to
- 17:54Speaker 1: pre-war levels on oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz?
- 17:57Speaker 1: That's a very big deal. It's a very big sign.
- 18:01Speaker 1: And what a great, what a blessing it was to
- 18:03Speaker 1: have Daniel Turner on with us Friday, explaining from Power
- 18:05Speaker 1: of the Future, explaining the way the oil markets work
- 18:08Speaker 1: and the average gas station owner, the reason that there's
- 18:10Speaker 1: lag time on gas prices, even though oil prices are
- 18:14Speaker 1: coming down very quickly, the reason that there's lag time
- 18:17Speaker 1: on these gas prices is because the oil, the gas rather,
- 18:21Speaker 1: that you're buying when you fill up your car is
- 18:24Speaker 1: gas that was already, it's underground. It was purchased at
- 18:27Speaker 1: the higher price. And until they empty that tank out,
- 18:30Speaker 1: they've got to make their money back from the higher
- 18:31Speaker 1: price purchase. So there's a little bit of lag time.
- 18:34Speaker 1: But as this new refined product starts making its way
- 18:38Speaker 1: into these American gas stations, you'll start seeing those prices
- 18:41Speaker 1: come down even more. And chat, tell me, are you
- 18:45Speaker 1: seeing prices come down at all near your homes?
- 18:49Speaker 2: Are you seeing this happen?
- 18:50Speaker 1: Now I know that there's gas that's expensive in places
- 18:53Speaker 1: like California, no question, especially where they impose these crazy
- 18:57Speaker 1: state taxes. But have you seen gas prices come down
- 18:59Speaker 1: at all? I've seen some feedback from our audience saying, yeah,
- 19:03Speaker 1: I'm seeing it, yes. Down 20 cents, says Kmart. I
- 19:08Speaker 1: believe that's not the actual store, Kmart. That's our friend
- 19:11Speaker 1: Kmart who's in chat. Yes, yes, yes, seeing lower prices.
- 19:15Speaker 1: R Cooling says no, not seeing those lower prices yet.
- 19:18Speaker 1: Where are you, R Cooling? Where are you not seeing
- 19:19Speaker 1: the lower prices yet? Yes, but slowly. South Jersey, down
- 19:25Speaker 1: 10 cents. South Carolina is down. We're seeing that. Pennsylvania, Massachusetts.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Okay.
- 19:34Speaker 6: All right.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Well, that's a good sign. Thank you, Little. Nobody's got
- 19:38Speaker 1: this kind of man on the street reporting. This is great.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Everyone's saying they've got this. No in California. I'm sorry
- 19:45Speaker 1: for those of you in California. It's crazy out there.
- 19:49Speaker 2: It's super crazy.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Crazy.
- 19:51Speaker 4: $ 4.
- 19:51Speaker 1: 84 in California. That's insane.
- 19:54Speaker 2: That's totally insane.
- 19:55Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm sorry, Callie. I'm sorry you've got to deal
- 19:58Speaker 1: with that crap. What a beautiful state. The Democrats have
- 20:01Speaker 1: just been trying to destroy it. They're big on destroying
- 20:04Speaker 1: beautiful things, right? They started with California. Right now, they're
- 20:08Speaker 1: working on the reflecting poll. Anything that's beautiful, they're trying
- 20:11Speaker 1: to destroy. I've got more on all of it coming
- 20:14Speaker 1: up in the program. We're going to get to some
- 20:16Speaker 1: of the latest. And also our great guest, Tristan Leavitt,
- 20:19Speaker 1: will be joining us coming up in just minutes. We'll
- 20:21Speaker 1: talk a bit about Operation Fentanyl and Furious. It's insane
- 20:25Speaker 1: what's going on. So much more to get to here
- 20:27Speaker 1: on the program. I want to thank one of the
- 20:29Speaker 1: fine sponsors who do make this program possible each day.
- 20:31Speaker 1: That's Patriot Mobile, Patriot Mobile, which gives me world-class wireless service.
- 20:38Speaker 1: You know, if you think wireless companies are all the same,
- 20:40Speaker 1: you should probably look at Patriot Mobile. They're not the same.

- 21:57Speaker 1: or call 972-PATRIOT today. Patriot Mobile. one of the great
- 22:04Speaker 1: sponsors of our program. So many people in the chat
- 22:06Speaker 1: have Patriot Mobile. Wisely, very wise of you to have
- 22:10Speaker 1: Patriot Mobile. Okay, I was mentioning a moment ago that
- 22:13Speaker 1: the left is interested in destruction. They don't like beautiful things.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Beautiful things are attractive things. And if those beautiful, attractive
- 22:21Speaker 1: things are in any way associated with Donald Trump and
- 22:23Speaker 1: the people who voted for him, man, they really hate,
- 22:27Speaker 1: really hate it. And that leads to the story of
- 22:30Speaker 1: the reflecting pool. What a saga this has been. Have
- 22:32Speaker 1: you noticed how obsessed the left has been with the
- 22:35Speaker 1: reflecting pool renovations? Now, it shouldn't be some sort of
- 22:41Speaker 1: like incredible story that a president of the United States
- 22:45Speaker 1: is actually fixing one of America's most important monuments. That
- 22:49Speaker 1: shouldn't be a big.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Story at all.
- 22:51Speaker 1: That should just be kind of like an everyday, oh,
- 22:53Speaker 1: isn't that wonderful? The government is actually doing something for us.
- 22:56Speaker 1: But it's an unusual story because actually a lot of
- 22:58Speaker 1: administrations have abdicated the responsibility to care for it. President
- 23:03Speaker 1: Trump is finally doing something about it. So he's been
- 23:05Speaker 1: working to beautify it. And because the president's been doing that,
- 23:09Speaker 1: the left has turned it into a big story because
- 23:11Speaker 1: they've been rooting against beauty, as they so often do.
- 23:14Speaker 1: In fact- We now have evidence that they've been actively
- 23:17Speaker 1: sabotaging beauty as multiple people have been arrested for vandalism
- 23:22Speaker 1: of the reflecting pool. And here's the president yesterday in
- 23:25Speaker 1: the Oval Office discussing the animals who would vandalize an
- 23:30Speaker 1: important American monument like the reflecting pool in front of
- 23:33Speaker 1: the Lincoln Memorial. Here's President Trump cut for a watch.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Vandalism. You know, we have a hundred and we have a.
- 23:42Speaker 3: I think 290, 300 foot slit right through it, probably
- 23:46Speaker 3: a box cutter or a knife of some kind. We
- 23:49Speaker 3: had people lifting up the basic, some of the, it's
- 23:53Speaker 3: not a lot of damage, but we'll probably have to
- 23:56Speaker 3: let the water out and refix it.
- 23:58Speaker 2: They went in there with a knife.
- 24:01Speaker 3: I was just told by the people over at Parks,
- 24:05Speaker 3: they have five people are arrested and five people are
- 24:09Speaker 3: under investigation right now. And it's a sad thing. In
- 24:13Speaker 3: addition to that, they, you know, we put brand new
- 24:16Speaker 3: beautiful grass all around. They put these massive letters on
- 24:19Speaker 3: the grass. You probably know about that, right? And they
- 24:25Speaker 3: said 86, 47. They probably got that from the dirty cop.
- 24:28Speaker 2: Call me.
- 24:29Speaker 3: You know he's a dirty cop, don't you? Dirty cop.
- 24:32Speaker 3: He's a crooked guy. They destroyed the grass. So that's
- 24:36Speaker 3: a big thing. But we're going to get it back
- 24:38Speaker 3: very soon.
- 24:41Speaker 1: So they're working on it. They're draining it. They're fixing
- 24:43Speaker 1: it up. They're healing it. And they're going to get
- 24:46Speaker 1: it back up and running, despite the fact that the
- 24:48Speaker 1: left keeps trying to upend it and rooting on its destruction.
- 24:52Speaker 1: You know what this is really a sign of? It's
- 24:55Speaker 1: a sign of how few scandals they can even get
- 24:59Speaker 1: a hold of associated with President Trump. They don't have
- 25:02Speaker 1: a scandal. They're not even sure what to do. President
- 25:06Speaker 1: Trump's list of success is so meaningful and so long.
- 25:09Speaker 1: that they've backed up to item 6,428, the reflecting poll,
- 25:14Speaker 1: and they're trying to sabotage his improvement of it. You know,
- 25:18Speaker 1: as somebody who's been in and around Washington now for, what,
- 25:21Speaker 1: 16 years now, I used to commute oftentimes by a
- 25:26Speaker 1: lot of these locations that the president has now fixed up.
- 25:29Speaker 1: And one of the things I didn't realize about D.C.,
- 25:32Speaker 1: when I was walking through it is how many fountains
- 25:36Speaker 1: there were all over the place. And the reason I
- 25:38Speaker 1: didn't know there were fountains is because they weren't even operating.
- 25:42Speaker 1: This was 16 years ago. They haven't been operating. President
- 25:46Speaker 1: Trump has restored them. He's restored fountains at Union Station,
- 25:50Speaker 1: which are now flowing. They look beautiful. They've improved the
- 25:54Speaker 1: human spirit as you walk by them. Meridian Hill Park
- 25:57Speaker 1: in Washington, D.C. now has an epic fountain finally cascading
- 26:01Speaker 1: after many years of disrepair and not functioning at all.
- 26:04Speaker 1: It was a dry, graffitied-filled basin. Trump has fixed it.
- 26:10Speaker 1: Trump has turned on the fountains at Freedom Plaza, which
- 26:13Speaker 1: is not that far from the White House, right nearby.
- 26:16Speaker 1: And I didn't realize there was a fountain there. In
- 26:19Speaker 1: other words, Trump is dramatically beautifying the city. Meanwhile, he's
- 26:23Speaker 1: also making it safer as he's brought down some of
- 26:26Speaker 1: the violent crime rates to record lows and deployed the
- 26:29Speaker 1: National Guard to help be a steady presence in the
- 26:32Speaker 1: city to convey that law and order will prevail. It's
- 26:37Speaker 1: been a great thing. And rather than rooting for these successes,
- 26:41Speaker 1: rather than rooting for beauty, rather than rooting for law
- 26:44Speaker 1: and order, rather than celebrating the kinds of scenes that
- 26:49Speaker 1: do uplift the human spirit, the left is doing what
- 26:52Speaker 1: it does best, which is there being AOCs, agents of chaos,
- 26:55Speaker 1: agents of destruction. You are not allowed to have nice things.
- 27:00Speaker 1: And if you have something nice, the left is coming
- 27:03Speaker 1: for it. whether it's through confiscatory tax policy or straight
- 27:07Speaker 1: up destroying a beautiful vision. Look at these people. You
- 27:12Speaker 1: have protesters who are angry at Trump with their crazy
- 27:17Speaker 1: pink hair and their ugly pride flags. What a disgusting
- 27:23Speaker 1: looking flag. I keep telling you every time I see it,
- 27:25Speaker 1: there's no way a gay dude designed that flag. It's
- 27:27Speaker 1: too ugly. And there they are, just acting super crazy,
- 27:32Speaker 1: upset about the reflecting pool and celebrating the algae that's
- 27:36Speaker 1: within it right now.
- 27:38Speaker 2: What's wrong with you?
- 27:39Speaker 1: They're LGBT protesters. Algae, blame Trump. Yeah, whack jobs is
- 27:47Speaker 1: what they are. In fact, you guys want a preview
- 27:50Speaker 1: of what's coming up on the radio show today? I've got,
- 27:52Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you, let me give you a preview.
- 27:54Speaker 1: Producer Jim did not give me permission for this, but
- 27:56Speaker 1: I'm gonna give you a preview anyway. Listen to this.
- 27:58Speaker 1: This is producer Jim put this together for us about
- 28:03Speaker 1: these crazy algae people. Take a listen. Let me load
- 28:07Speaker 1: it up for you because we got to pull them
- 28:08Speaker 1: from the radio folder. Here it is. Take a listen.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Let's go.
- 28:12Speaker 4: Let's go. We at the Algae Salvation Society are on
- 28:17Speaker 4: a mission to preserve the suffocating and gross effects of
- 28:20Speaker 4: algae in the reflecting pool just to stick it to
- 28:23Speaker 4: Donald Trump. As leftist lunatics, we must ignore common sense
- 28:30Speaker 4: solutions to make things in our nation's capital beautiful and
- 28:33Speaker 4: encourage things like algae blooms and pond scum to destroy
- 28:37Speaker 4: anything good Trump tries to do. At ASS, we are
- 28:48Speaker 4: Team Algae because anything that is good for President Trump
- 28:52Speaker 4: and the rest of the country is bad for us.
- 28:56Speaker 4: Join us in saving the algae because at the Algae
- 28:58Speaker 4: Salvation Society, we are all ass.
- 29:08Speaker 1: Thank you, producer Jim, for bringing joy to our days.
- 29:11Speaker 1: You see, on the right, we can make beautiful things.
- 29:16Speaker 1: We can even make beauty out of their chaos. They're
- 29:20Speaker 1: all ass.
- 29:21Speaker 2: They really are.
- 29:22Speaker 1: They truly are. All right, coming up in a moment,
- 29:25Speaker 1: the details on a breaking scandal, which we really need
- 29:29Speaker 1: to dive into, Operation Fentanyl and Furious, the death of
- 29:32Speaker 1: American citizens, and the government was aware that it was
- 29:35Speaker 1: happening and did nothing to stop it. More ahead as
- 29:38Speaker 1: we are joined by Tristan Lerner. in just a moment.
- 29:41Speaker 1: But first, I want to thank our fine sponsors of

- 32:27Speaker 6: All right.
- 32:28Speaker 2: Let's see here.
- 32:29Speaker 1: We've got, like I'm telling you, we've got a big
- 32:32Speaker 1: fentanyl scandal. Now, clearly, one of the things that the
- 32:36Speaker 1: president of the United States has had a lot of
- 32:37Speaker 1: success on is bringing down drug overdose deaths in the
- 32:40Speaker 1: United States. That's great news. But before he came into office,
- 32:45Speaker 1: the Biden administration devised a plan to allow fentanyl to
- 32:48Speaker 1: pour into the country. I'm sorry, what?
- 32:51Speaker 5: For more on this, I want.
- 32:52Speaker 1: To bring in the great Tristan Leavitt. He's from Empower Oversight.
- 32:55Speaker 1: He's the president there. He handles all these whistleblowers, and
- 32:59Speaker 1: he does a great job at it. Tristan, great to
- 33:01Speaker 1: talk to you again today, sir. Thank you for being
- 33:02Speaker 1: here with me.
- 33:04Speaker 2: Always a pleasure, Vince.
- 33:05Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm calling this Operation Fentanyl and Furious because
- 33:09Speaker 1: it reminds me so much of Operation Fast and Furious
- 33:13Speaker 1: when the Obama administration allowed guns to, quote, walk into Mexico,
- 33:18Speaker 1: one of which was used to kill a Border Patrol
- 33:20Speaker 1: agent by the name of Brian Terry. But this sounds
- 33:23Speaker 1: like this is on a whole nother level. Like Operation
- 33:26Speaker 1: Fast and Furious is nothing compared to what you're exposing
- 33:30Speaker 1: right now. Tell us what you found.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Well, DEA agent David Howell is a whistleblower who came
- 33:36Speaker 2: to us. He came to Empower Oversight really because my partner,
- 33:40Speaker 2: Jason Foster, and I were Grassley's lead investigators on Operation
- 33:44Speaker 2: Fast and Furious 15 years ago. So he got in
- 33:47Speaker 2: touch with us through the original Fast and Furious whistleblower,
- 33:50Speaker 2: John Dodson. And what he shared with us was that
- 33:53Speaker 2: after Operation Fast and Furious, we knew that the Justice
- 33:56Speaker 2: Department had adopted protocols for whenever agents in any agency
- 34:01Speaker 2: were listening to a federal wiretap and became aware that
- 34:04Speaker 2: guns were about to be trafficked. They had a responsibility
- 34:07Speaker 2: under those protocols to try and stop those guns from
- 34:09Speaker 2: being trafficked. And that was really a reversal of ATF's
- 34:12Speaker 2: policy of saying, hey, rather than stop the guns, we're
- 34:15Speaker 2: going to try and follow them, see where they go,
- 34:17Speaker 2: and work our way up to the bigger fish. Unfortunately,
- 34:20Speaker 2: the DEA And the ATF ended up in a similar
- 34:26Speaker 2: conundrum because DEA was subject later to 2019 Trump administration protocols.
- 34:33Speaker 2: So the firearms protocols are the only ones that existed,
- 34:35Speaker 2: but fentanyl is so deadly. that the Trump administration also
- 34:39Speaker 2: later created a Title III wiretap fentanyl protocol saying, again,
- 34:43Speaker 2: unlike other types of drugs, since just the tiniest, you know,
- 34:46Speaker 2: just a pencil tip of fentanyl could be enough to
- 34:48Speaker 2: kill someone, we're going to put a new policy in
- 34:51Speaker 2: place saying if you become aware that fentanyl is about
- 34:53Speaker 2: to be trafficked, you need to try and stop that
- 34:55Speaker 2: as well.
- 34:56Speaker 1: So unlike, say, like a marijuana shipment or something where
- 35:00Speaker 1: the DEA may sit back for a moment and say, okay,
- 35:03Speaker 1: we'll let it go so we can see the pathways
- 35:05Speaker 1: that it's traveling in. But fentanyl, they say even the
- 35:09Speaker 1: smallest amount can kill an American citizen, any human being.
- 35:13Speaker 1: And so, therefore, this is to be treated as one
- 35:16Speaker 1: of the most deadly agents coming into our country. In fact,
- 35:18Speaker 1: I just looked it up. Gun deaths are nowhere near
- 35:21Speaker 1: fentanyl deaths. I mean, we have fewer than half in
- 35:25Speaker 1: the number, whereas fentanyl deaths, drug overdoses, over 100,000 a
- 35:29Speaker 1: year during this period you're talking about. That's right.
- 35:32Speaker 2: And that's why the DEA adopted a One Pill Can
- 35:34Speaker 2: Kill campaign. You may have seen that advertising around. And
- 35:37Speaker 2: the Trump administration designated fentanyl as a weapon of mass
- 35:39Speaker 2: destruction in the second administration. But in between those two administrations,
- 35:44Speaker 2: the Biden administration, at least in New Mexico, we haven't
- 35:49Speaker 2: determined yet whether it happened in other places. But in
- 35:51Speaker 2: New Mexico, they decided that they were tired of just
- 35:54Speaker 2: knocking off low level buyer or distributors, traffickers. And so
- 35:59Speaker 2: they started instructing the agents to let shipments go. And
- 36:03Speaker 2: that was both the DEA and the U.S. Attorney's Office
- 36:06Speaker 2: in New Mexico. So our client, David Howell, objected to that.
- 36:10Speaker 2: He got in trouble because he seized some from a
- 36:12Speaker 2: car when they told him not to. And they really
- 36:15Speaker 2: sidelined him. And he started watching for other examples of this.
- 36:20Speaker 2: And ultimately, there were shipments of 75,000, 100,000, 200,000. We
- 36:27Speaker 2: believe that ultimately the totals are more than 1 million
- 36:29Speaker 2: fentanyl pills that were allowed to be trafficked and agents
- 36:34Speaker 2: were told, stand down. We just wanna watch and see
- 36:36Speaker 2: where these go. And so the human cost of this
- 36:41Speaker 2: was likely immeasurable. We don't know how many deaths, unlike
- 36:44Speaker 2: a firearm where there's a serial number that you could
- 36:46Speaker 2: trace back each firearm. There's no way to track precisely
- 36:50Speaker 2: where all the fentanyl went, but it likely traveled all
- 36:52Speaker 2: throughout the country because that's what happens when those come
- 36:54Speaker 2: across the border.
- 36:55Speaker 1: So given over 1 million fentanyl pills, that the Biden
- 37:01Speaker 1: administration was aware were pouring into the country and they
- 37:04Speaker 1: let it happen anyway. They could have interdicted it, they didn't.
- 37:09Speaker 1: That's a guarantee that American citizens were killed by this,
- 37:12Speaker 1: isn't it?
- 37:13Speaker 2: I think it is. There's no way to measure how
- 37:16Speaker 2: many were killed, but it is inevitable that lives were
- 37:20Speaker 2: lost because of this decision to allow the fentanyl on
- 37:23Speaker 2: the streets. Now, of course, DEA in New Mexico, the
- 37:25Speaker 2: leadership there would say, well, We ultimately did seize it.
- 37:29Speaker 2: And in some cases, you know, months later, a year later,
- 37:32Speaker 2: they did. But in those instances, they don't know if
- 37:34Speaker 2: they got it all. They didn't have a precise way
- 37:36Speaker 2: to track it. And there's no way to know, again,
- 37:38Speaker 2: how many lives are lost along the way.
- 37:41Speaker 1: This is insane. So David Howell, why is he going?
- 37:44Speaker 1: This is as far as I'm aware, this is the
- 37:45Speaker 1: first time he's going public. You are giving him assistance
- 37:48Speaker 1: on this subject. Tell us about why he's going public now.
- 37:52Speaker 2: Well, after he was sidelined, after he got in trouble
- 37:55Speaker 2: for seizing that one car, the U.S. Attorney's Office basically
- 37:59Speaker 2: told him, you're not allowed to testify in cases anymore
- 38:01Speaker 2: because we're afraid you will tell them what we're doing.
- 38:04Speaker 2: We're afraid that you'll speak up about the truth here.
- 38:06Speaker 2: And so he, from there, filed a complaint with the U.S.
- 38:09Speaker 2: Office of Special Counsel, an agency that I used to
- 38:12Speaker 2: help lead. And they went through a multi-year process, as
- 38:15Speaker 2: they do. First, they were very interested in the disclosures.
- 38:19Speaker 2: Their process is then that they send over a referral
- 38:21Speaker 2: to the agency. And so the Justice Department during the
- 38:24Speaker 2: Biden administration wrote up a report saying, hey, this isn't
- 38:27Speaker 2: a big deal for two reasons. One of them is
- 38:30Speaker 2: you are saying that there's no discretion under these fentanyl protocols. Well,
- 38:33Speaker 2: good news. We're changing the fentanyl protocols. Now there is discretion.
- 38:37Speaker 2: So they disregarded his complaint because of that. They also said, look,
- 38:42Speaker 2: at the end of the day, these are decisions that
- 38:44Speaker 2: prosecutors have to make. We think that they were within
- 38:47Speaker 2: their discretion to go ahead and allow this fentanyl to
- 38:51Speaker 2: go as it was. So If you look in the
- 38:53Speaker 2: fall of 2025, OSC's process is after that. They will
- 38:57Speaker 2: take that report. They send it to the president and
- 39:00Speaker 2: to the Congress. And so that report is on there with,
- 39:03Speaker 2: you know, it's redacted. But you look up Justice Department
- 39:06Speaker 2: on the OSC website, and you'll see a whole report
- 39:08Speaker 2: about this with OSC ultimately concluding, yeah, it was reasonable
- 39:13Speaker 2: for the Justice Department to conclude that this was not
- 39:15Speaker 2: a violation of policy, wasn't a threat to public safety.
- 39:18Speaker 2: So that really motivated him to say, hey, I need
- 39:21Speaker 2: to do more. Simultaneously, an AP reporter actually reached out
- 39:25Speaker 2: to him because OSC failed to fully redact the documents.
- 39:28Speaker 2: So an OSC or an AP reporter figured out that
- 39:31Speaker 2: it was him and asked him if he was willing
- 39:32Speaker 2: to speak. And he said, you know what? I am
- 39:34Speaker 2: willing to speak up because I think the American public
- 39:36Speaker 2: would view this very differently than the Biden Justice Department has. Definitely.
- 39:40Speaker 1: That's true. Help me understand the timeline about where this
- 39:44Speaker 1: stands now. Did the Trump administration successfully end this?
- 39:48Speaker 2: Well, I don't know that the Trump administration really had
- 39:51Speaker 2: awareness of this until Mr. Howell came forward. So in
- 39:55Speaker 2: January of, sorry, in March of 2025, after the inauguration,
- 40:00Speaker 2: DEA did make a large seizure of fentanyl in Albuquerque.
- 40:05Speaker 2: In fact, it's DEA's largest seizure of fentanyl ever. Shockingly,
- 40:09Speaker 2: it just happened to be in Albuquerque. Interesting. So, of course,
- 40:13Speaker 2: that took some off the street. But again, that's only
- 40:14Speaker 2: a portion. That was not the case that Special Agent Howell,
- 40:18Speaker 2: any of the cases he was working on. Again, this
- 40:20Speaker 2: just highlights how much fentanyl has been coming into our country.
- 40:24Speaker 2: So still, there is fentanyl out there that was never seized. Now, we,
- 40:29Speaker 2: of course, have flagged this for Justice Department leadership. We
- 40:33Speaker 2: believe that there is an inspector general investigation that's being launched,
- 40:37Speaker 2: and we hope that Congress will investigate as well. But yeah,
- 40:40Speaker 2: my hope is that the Trump administration will released the
- 40:42Speaker 2: records will go in and look and say, okay, where
- 40:44Speaker 2: else was this tactic being used? And that they will
- 40:47Speaker 2: transparently share with the public where else it was used
- 40:50Speaker 2: as well as who was responsible for it.
- 40:52Speaker 1: You know, it's, um, I was reading the Associated Press's
- 40:55Speaker 1: coverage of this because of course they, they broke this
- 40:57Speaker 1: story yesterday. Uh, and, and I noticed that they didn't
- 41:00Speaker 1: ever include the word Biden in the piece, nor did
- 41:04Speaker 1: they include the word Trump for that matter. They only
- 41:06Speaker 1: included some dates. They said 2023 to 2025, which is
- 41:08Speaker 1: a Just that's like a really hard time frame to
- 41:12Speaker 1: pin down, because 2025 is like when Biden leaves and
- 41:16Speaker 1: President Trump arrives in January. And then they sort of
- 41:18Speaker 1: generically cite various agency spokespeople.
- 41:22Speaker 2: And I was confused.
- 41:24Speaker 1: I'm like, is there there's no Trump people defending this,
- 41:26Speaker 1: are they? Are there people justifying this within Trump world
- 41:29Speaker 1: at all? Because if they are, we should direct our
- 41:31Speaker 1: ire at them as well. It seems like this is
- 41:34Speaker 1: in almost every sense of Biden scandal.
- 41:37Speaker 2: I think it is. I noted that from both the
- 41:41Speaker 2: AP piece and there's an Albuquerque Journal journalist that also
- 41:45Speaker 2: got a hold of this, Colleen Heald. And so they
- 41:48Speaker 2: released their pieces at the same time. And she also
- 41:51Speaker 2: quotes the DEA. But again, I think this is all
- 41:53Speaker 2: local DEA leadership that they have asked for comment that's
- 41:56Speaker 2: defending it because those were the ones in place, right?
- 41:58Speaker 1: So these are career employees, people who were there during
- 42:01Speaker 1: the Biden era who were watching as this was happening
- 42:03Speaker 1: and letting it happen.
- 42:05Speaker 2: Or not just watching, or we're directing it, right? This
- 42:08Speaker 2: is DEA leadership. I mean, the same, you know, as
- 42:10Speaker 2: you know, with a new presidential administration, you get 4,000
- 42:13Speaker 2: new political appointees while the 2 million career employees stay
- 42:17Speaker 2: in place. So all of the DEA New Mexico field
- 42:19Speaker 2: office that was doing this before is still there. And
- 42:22Speaker 2: of course, they have every interest in defending what they
- 42:24Speaker 2: were doing before. One of those pieces also interviewed the former,
- 42:29Speaker 2: the Biden-appointed U.S. attorney, Alex Chibala's, And he very specifically acknowledged, yeah,
- 42:35Speaker 2: this is what we're doing. We hoped it would save
- 42:37Speaker 2: lives in the long run because you know we'd be
- 42:39Speaker 2: able to take down these organizations, which is just an
- 42:41Speaker 2: insane take.
- 42:42Speaker 1: Enough, enough. I mean, it's just the same crap with
- 42:45Speaker 1: gain-of-function research. It's always the same, oh, I hope this
- 42:48Speaker 1: will save lives in the long run after we kill
- 42:50Speaker 1: millions of people. I hope it saves somebody. It's like,
- 42:52Speaker 1: it's such bull crap. Enough killing American citizens. I mean,
- 42:57Speaker 1: how much more punishment can we possibly take? And Tristan, I...
- 43:01Speaker 1: It is staggering. We have been subjected to so many
- 43:03Speaker 1: scandals in a row. It just feels like we become
- 43:05Speaker 1: numb to it. This is what you're talking about would
- 43:08Speaker 1: amount to one of the biggest scandals in American history.
- 43:11Speaker 1: Millions of fentanyl pills that the administration knew were pouring
- 43:15Speaker 1: into the country. They let it happen and guaranteed American
- 43:18Speaker 1: citizens were being killed.
- 43:19Speaker 2: By this behavior. You're not wrong. And the Justice Department,
- 43:24Speaker 2: even if headquarters could claim we didn't know at first
- 43:26Speaker 2: this was happening, when they had it brought to their attention,
- 43:31Speaker 2: their response was, well, let's change our protocols so that
- 43:33Speaker 2: it's allowed now. That's the problem that we face.
- 43:36Speaker 1: God, what a nightmare. OK, so you said Congress may
- 43:39Speaker 1: get on this. Do you have any indication from anybody
- 43:41Speaker 1: in Congress that they're seriously going to launch a hearing?
- 43:43Speaker 1: They should immediately.
- 43:45Speaker 2: Yeah, we have one congressional committee. I won't be specific
- 43:50Speaker 2: just to preserve. Again, people are different stages, but Special
- 43:53Speaker 2: Agent Howell is going to be interviewed tomorrow. And we've
- 43:56Speaker 2: spoken with staff from multiple different committees. And so I
- 43:59Speaker 2: don't know if there will be hearings or anything else,
- 44:01Speaker 2: but they are definitely digging in.
- 44:03Speaker 1: Okay, good. And then will we be able to speak
- 44:05Speaker 1: to Mr. Howell himself at some point soon?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Most likely, yes. We're still trying to see if there
- 44:14Speaker 2: will be any blowback from the story yesterday from his
- 44:17Speaker 2: direct supervisors. There shouldn't. The word came from higher levels
- 44:21Speaker 2: of the Justice Department. You better leave this guy alone.
- 44:23Speaker 2: But still, there are subtle ways that people can mess
- 44:27Speaker 2: with an individual. And so we anticipate him being able
- 44:32Speaker 2: to speak about his experiences. and share more about it
- 44:34Speaker 2: with the public.
- 44:35Speaker 1: Okay, so I'm sorry, but that's a really important detail.
- 44:37Speaker 1: The high levels of the Justice Department are saying that
- 44:39Speaker 1: what he's sharing is important and do not mess with him.
- 44:43Speaker 1: That would include, I hope, the Attorney General of the
- 44:45Speaker 1: United States, Todd Blanch.
- 44:47Speaker 2: So I can't speak to within, you know, I hope
- 44:50Speaker 2: also that he shares the same view. I haven't spoken
- 44:52Speaker 2: to him. I haven't spoken directly to his people, but... Again,
- 44:56Speaker 2: individuals within the Justice Department have assured us that they
- 44:58Speaker 2: will do their very best to make sure that he
- 45:00Speaker 2: is within DEA, that hands are off him and he's protected.
- 45:03Speaker 2: And there's a letter on our website, EmpowerOversight.org, that has
- 45:07Speaker 2: our press release that notes, we sent our initial letter
- 45:11Speaker 2: before this became public to the Inspector General saying, hey,
- 45:13Speaker 2: you really need to have an investigation on this. We
- 45:15Speaker 2: then sent it to Congress saying, hey, you better make
- 45:17Speaker 2: sure that they investigate it. And then about a month later,
- 45:20Speaker 2: so about two weeks ago, we sent a letter to
- 45:22Speaker 2: the Deputy Attorney General's office saying, to say, hey, please
- 45:27Speaker 2: ensure that this whistleblower is protected. And again, we got
- 45:29Speaker 2: a favorable reception from that letter.
- 45:31Speaker 1: And then what about consequences here? Do you have your
- 45:35Speaker 1: arms around what is possible? Like what can be done
- 45:38Speaker 1: to hold people accountable for the death of American citizens
- 45:41Speaker 1: in this cruel way?
- 45:43Speaker 2: I frankly think, Vince, this is one of the biggest
- 45:46Speaker 2: conundrums that we face in our public life today because
- 45:50Speaker 2: our government is not structured to create the sort of
- 45:54Speaker 2: accountability that most people expect. And you could attribute that
- 45:57Speaker 2: to a lot of things. If I really wanted to,
- 45:59Speaker 2: you know, wax philosophical about it, you think back to
- 46:01Speaker 2: John Adams saying our government's made for a moral and
- 46:04Speaker 2: religious people, right? And that doesn't need to be, you know,
- 46:07Speaker 2: people can take that in different ways, but there's an
- 46:09Speaker 2: element of trust that we put in our government. And
- 46:11Speaker 2: so our criminal statutes aren't set up for this. And
- 46:15Speaker 2: it was a question I got with Operation Fast and Furious.
- 46:18Speaker 2: Where are the people going to jail? And you'd say, well,
- 46:21Speaker 2: this was, you know, Congressman, Chairman Daryl Issa would call
- 46:24Speaker 2: it felony stupid, right? Their intention wasn't to kill people,
- 46:28Speaker 2: but through dumb decisions that they made, this is where
- 46:31Speaker 2: it ended up. I don't know what the motivations were
- 46:33Speaker 2: behind this because we don't have enough information yet. But generally,
- 46:37Speaker 2: I would say our laws afford a lot of latitude
- 46:40Speaker 2: to prosecutors, to law enforcement. And so we may need
- 46:43Speaker 2: to differently consider what kinds of consequences we subject people
- 46:48Speaker 2: to when they And you know, the left is always
- 46:51Speaker 2: attacking qualified immunity for law enforcement.
- 46:53Speaker 1: They're always trying to get rid of it. But the
- 46:55Speaker 1: second you bring this up, oh, the Biden administration just
- 46:57Speaker 1: killed a ton of people with fentanyl. They're going to say, well,
- 47:00Speaker 1: we have qualified immunity. We can't prosecute anybody. It's really,
- 47:05Speaker 1: oh my God, it's a nightmare. Thank you, Tristan. Tristan,
- 47:08Speaker 1: every time we hear about a new whistleblower, maybe not
- 47:11Speaker 1: every time, but close to every time. Every time we
- 47:13Speaker 1: hear about a new whistleblower exposing these important revelations, you're
- 47:18Speaker 1: often at the center of helping make that happen. So
- 47:19Speaker 1: thank you for your great work and for your organization
- 47:22Speaker 1: and power oversight. Thank you, Tristan. We can't wait to
- 47:24Speaker 1: hear more. Thank you.
- 47:24Speaker 2: Thanks, Vince.
- 47:26Speaker 1: All right, there's Tristan Leva with, I assure you, the
- 47:31Speaker 1: beginning of a scandal you are about to hear a
- 47:35Speaker 1: tremendous more about. And you heard it right here, this
- 47:41Speaker 1: story just breaking now as we As we start the
- 47:43Speaker 1: week and Tristan sharing that. And I do intend, as
- 47:47Speaker 1: I was asking him just a moment ago, hopefully we
- 47:49Speaker 1: can get this whistleblower on with us. I'd love to
- 47:51Speaker 1: have a conversation with him, find out more about what
- 47:53Speaker 1: he was seeing on the inside and bring that to you.
- 47:58Speaker 1: This is a very, very big story. Again, fentanyl, fentanyl
- 48:03Speaker 1: just pouring into our country, killing American citizens, millions of pills.
- 48:06Speaker 1: They knew about it. Guaranteed that was killing us. It's
- 48:11Speaker 1: really sick stuff. What a difference the administration makes. This
- 48:14Speaker 1: FBI and this Justice Department has actually brought the drug
- 48:17Speaker 1: overdose deaths down a lot, which has been wonderful news.
- 48:21Speaker 1: A lot of that's just been securing the border. And
- 48:24Speaker 1: let me go to that issue for a moment. I
- 48:25Speaker 1: want to give you an update on securing the border,
- 48:29Speaker 1: because there was a story this week in Axios about
- 48:32Speaker 1: how the Department of Homeland Security is working aggressively to
- 48:37Speaker 1: get the border wall finished. Now, remember, the The big,
- 48:42Speaker 1: beautiful bill, now the big, beautiful law, had a bunch
- 48:45Speaker 1: of funding in it in order to finish the navigable
- 48:48Speaker 1: portions of the border, to finish all of the wall off,
- 48:51Speaker 1: including water barriers, you know, right there in the Rio Grande,
- 48:53Speaker 1: have water barriers up so people can't just swim across it,
- 48:57Speaker 1: which is a stupid and a life-threatening thing to do
- 48:59Speaker 1: in the first place. But they're trying to create all
- 49:01Speaker 1: sorts of barriers to stop people from pouring into the country,
- 49:03Speaker 1: including after President Trump leaves office. And here's the update
- 49:07Speaker 1: from Axios. Now they're making it, they basically say, the
- 49:11Speaker 1: headline is the clock is ticking on Trump's border wall.
- 49:14Speaker 1: And in other words, they're running out of time. Not
- 49:17Speaker 1: exactly because the timeline that the Trump administration has is
- 49:22Speaker 1: by the end of next year, it would be by
- 49:24Speaker 1: the end of 2027 to have this finished. And here
- 49:31Speaker 1: is what they've got. They say the closer you look
- 49:34Speaker 1: at Homeland Security Secretary Mark Wayne Mullen's declaration that the
- 49:37Speaker 1: border wall will be finished by this time next year,
- 49:39Speaker 1: the harder it is to make the numbers work, they claim.
- 49:42Speaker 1: They say DHS has only completed 10% of its planned
- 49:45Speaker 1: primary wall. It will have to navigate construction lawsuits, negotiate
- 49:49Speaker 1: with or sue private citizens for land access, and finalize
- 49:53Speaker 1: contracts and designs, all while minimizing the delays that do
- 49:56Speaker 1: slow big construction projects. There are about 700 miles of
- 50:01Speaker 1: primary border wall left to build, 700 miles, according to
- 50:06Speaker 1: Customs and Border Protection spokesman, along with public agency data
- 50:10Speaker 1: that tracks wall construction from the CBP and the Department
- 50:14Speaker 1: of War. So they would need to increase to about
- 50:16Speaker 1: 13 miles a week to finish on Mark Wynn Mullen's
- 50:21Speaker 1: self-declared timeline. The primary wall construction rate for most of
- 50:25Speaker 1: this year has been roughly 2.6 miles per week. So
- 50:29Speaker 1: they really need to to jump it up. Uh, but
- 50:32Speaker 1: DHS is counting on construction speed to, to jump up
- 50:35Speaker 1: now that the majority of contracts have finally been awarded.
- 50:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 50:38Speaker 1: That's been truthfully, uh, as far as we've been aware, the,
- 50:42Speaker 1: a lot of this has been getting the companies on
- 50:44Speaker 1: board after Congress finally authorized the funding last year. So
- 50:47Speaker 1: they went through the bids, they got the construction companies
- 50:50Speaker 1: and now they're getting these projects up and running and, uh, they're,
- 50:54Speaker 1: they're advancing past the design stage. Um, Mark Wayne Mullen
- 50:58Speaker 1: just testified to Congress in June, quote, we're on track
- 51:00Speaker 1: to have the primary border wall done, completed from the
- 51:02Speaker 1: Pacific to the Gulf of America this time next year.
- 51:07Speaker 1: We're ahead of schedule. We're below budget on building border wall,
- 51:11Speaker 1: said the CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott at a recent public event.
- 51:14Speaker 1: Primary border wall, I've made a commitment to the president,
- 51:17Speaker 1: will be done by the end of 2027. 2027. 2027.
- 51:24Speaker 1: And that, of course, would give us a full year
- 51:26Speaker 1: of additional year of the of the end of the
- 51:29Speaker 1: Trump administration for them to have that wall up. And
- 51:32Speaker 1: if they don't, if they don't meet that deadline of 2027, again,
- 51:35Speaker 1: they have 2028 to work on it, too. CBP continues
- 51:38Speaker 1: to develop and finalize its plan for border barrier construction
- 51:42Speaker 1: funded by the one beautiful bill act with a focus
- 51:45Speaker 1: on the top operational priorities with historical rates of high
- 51:48Speaker 1: illegal entry where illegal aliens regularly attempt to enter the
- 51:52Speaker 1: United States. So this is underway. Do they have to
- 51:55Speaker 1: navigate a maze of obstructions in order to get a
- 51:58Speaker 1: border wall up? Yes, they do. But the DHS Secretary
- 52:01Speaker 1: Mark Wayne Mullen, the CBP Commissioner Rodney Scott, they're saying
- 52:05Speaker 1: this thing's going to be done by next year. All right,
- 52:07Speaker 1: let's hold them to it. And I'm glad to see
- 52:09Speaker 1: they're building this thing because it has to stay. It
- 52:11Speaker 1: is a durable policy against whatever sort of amnesty efforts
- 52:16Speaker 1: the left has designs for. going into the future, if,
- 52:20Speaker 1: God forbid, they ever get power again, it'd be good
- 52:22Speaker 1: to have a wall up. It'd be very good to
- 52:24Speaker 1: have a wall up. And they're working on it as
- 52:26Speaker 1: we speak. That's wonderful. Meanwhile, the FBI scored a bunch
- 52:30Speaker 1: of big victories this week. You see what the FBI
- 52:32Speaker 1: is up to? It's been crazy, actually. Just in the
- 52:35Speaker 1: last 24 hours, the FBI.
- 52:38Speaker 1: Just captured the second most wanted fraudster on its top
- 52:43Speaker 1: 10 fraudsters list. Its most wanted fraudsters list. You know,
- 52:46Speaker 1: the one that they came up with because JD Vance
- 52:48Speaker 1: asked for it.
- 52:49Speaker 5: Here they go.
- 52:50Speaker 1: Yesterday, Fox report on the subject.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Cut five.
- 52:52Speaker 1: Watch this.
- 52:53Speaker 6: Second most wanted fraudster. He's allegedly behind, listen to this,
- 52:56Speaker 6: a $ 1. 2 billion Medicare conspiracy.
- 53:00Speaker 5: Billion with a B.
- 53:01Speaker 6: White House officials praising the anti-fraud task force's role in
- 53:05Speaker 6: making this bust.
- 53:07Speaker 7: This is why this task force was so important, because
- 53:09Speaker 7: it has focused all of the resources of the federal
- 53:11Speaker 7: government on doing this.
- 53:13Speaker 5: The Biden administration could have gotten him.
- 53:14Speaker 7: They found plenty of time to arrest people playing outside
- 53:17Speaker 7: of abortion clinics, but instead they let this guy run
- 53:20Speaker 7: away with all of his money outside of the country.
- 53:23Speaker 6: And David Spunn is joining us live from Washington with
- 53:25Speaker 6: the latest on this. David, DOJ has been busy, busy,
- 53:28Speaker 6: busy making these busts.
- 53:29Speaker 5: The department really has, Bill.
- 53:31Speaker 7: This captures part of that administration's approach to highlight fraud. Sure,
- 53:35Speaker 7: other justice departments in the past have caught fraudsters and
- 53:38Speaker 7: did it for decades, but this time the FBI and
- 53:40Speaker 7: DOJ put together a most wanted fraudster list with eight people.
- 53:45Speaker 7: Two are already in custody and just Three weeks. Herbert
- 53:49Speaker 7: Kimball joins the list of those captured after he was
- 53:51Speaker 7: taken down in the Philippines. According to authorities, he targeted
- 53:54Speaker 7: the Medicare system to the tune of $ 1. 2 billion. Investigators
- 53:59Speaker 7: say he operated a sophisticated call center operation, and his
- 54:02Speaker 7: conspiracy involved orthopedic braces and billing Medicare. He operated in
- 54:06Speaker 7: the Philippines, where he was picked up after fleeing the U.S.
- 54:10Speaker 1: He was in the Philippines. They got a hold of him.
- 54:12Speaker 1: Thank God. $ 1. 2 billion? This guy became a billionaire by
- 54:17Speaker 1: stealing from your paycheck? Stealing from the elderly? Stealing from
- 54:21Speaker 1: Medicare recipients? Launch him into the sun, please. I know
- 54:27Speaker 1: SpaceX just put a rocket up in the air today.
- 54:28Speaker 1: Can we strap him to one of them? He doesn't
- 54:30Speaker 1: have to sit on the inside.
- 54:31Speaker 6: $ 1.
- 54:31Speaker 1: 2 billion. And they're not done. Did you see what
- 54:39Speaker 1: they did yesterday? So in addition to busting these people
- 54:41Speaker 1: for $ 1. 2 billion in theft, then all of a sudden
- 54:45Speaker 1: they cranked out another one yesterday. The FBI brought back
- 54:48Speaker 1: a fugitive accused of $ 3. 7 billion in Medicare fraud, caught
- 54:55Speaker 1: in Turkey. Ibrahim Khaldun Hilmi fled the United States in
- 55:03Speaker 1: May of last year, obviously with the Trump administration hot
- 55:07Speaker 1: on his tail. Turkish authorities detained him. A fugitive accused
- 55:11Speaker 1: of helping mastermind a $ 3. 7 billion Medicare fraud scheme, one
- 55:16Speaker 1: of the largest in American history, is now in American custody.
- 55:21Speaker 1: Authorities tracked him down in Turkey and flew him back
- 55:23Speaker 1: to the U.S. to face charges the FBI just announced
- 55:26Speaker 1: on Monday. Khaldun Helmi, recently detained by Turkish authorities, fled
- 55:32Speaker 1: America in May of 25. The FBI's critical incident response
- 55:36Speaker 1: group flew out to Turkey and transported Helmi's ass back
- 55:39Speaker 1: to the United States on Friday through a foreign transfer
- 55:42Speaker 1: of custody operation. Kash Patel hailing the operation as a
- 55:46Speaker 1: major victory in the bureau's efforts to track down fugitives
- 55:49Speaker 1: accused of stealing taxpayer dollars. Ibrahim Khaldun Helmi charged with
- 55:54Speaker 1: one of the biggest Medicare scams in history. $ 3. 7 billion
- 55:58Speaker 1: scheme to defraud Medicare. Steal from the elderly, steal from
- 56:01Speaker 1: your paycheck. How many hours have you busted your ass
- 56:04Speaker 1: to pay the government money that you didn't want to pay?
- 56:07Speaker 1: And then that money gets stolen from you by people
- 56:11Speaker 1: like this. What do I got? That's four, $ 5 billion
- 56:16Speaker 1: so far in just 24 hours. $ 5 billion of stolen
- 56:21Speaker 1: money in the form of these guys who have just
- 56:22Speaker 1: been arrested. And we're not going to get all that back.
- 56:25Speaker 1: They'll try. The government's going to try and get some
- 56:27Speaker 1: of it back. A lot of that's just gone. It's
- 56:29Speaker 1: been spent. It's in foreign countries. It's disappeared. That's why
- 56:32Speaker 1: you got to stop it before it happens. That's more,
- 56:38Speaker 1: more of these most wanted guys are being caught. Two
- 56:40Speaker 1: weeks ago, they picked up a dude from Minnesota too. Another,
- 56:43Speaker 1: another dude with a, with a, oh, here's a good
- 56:46Speaker 1: Irish name.
- 56:47Speaker 6: Ready?
- 56:47Speaker 1: Saeed Abdullahi Adeg.
- 56:51Speaker 5: Yeah, unbelievable.
- 56:53Speaker 1: FBI Director Kash Patel announcing, this is two weeks ago,
- 56:56Speaker 1: that Saeed Abdullahi Areg, a former Minneapolis grocery and deli owner,
- 57:00Speaker 1: had surrendered to federal authorities, marking the first person on
- 57:04Speaker 1: the FBI's new most wanted fraudsters list to be taken
- 57:07Speaker 1: into custody as federal authorities continue a nationwide fraud crackdown.
- 57:12Speaker 1: Faces charges including conspiracy to commit wire fraud, wire fraud,
- 57:16Speaker 1: money laundering, The FBI said a reg, a former South
- 57:19Speaker 1: Minneapolis grocery and deli owner, surrendered to federal authorities less
- 57:23Speaker 1: than a week after the Justice Department unveiled its most
- 57:25Speaker 1: wanted fraudsters list, which is intended to publicly identify these
- 57:29Speaker 1: individuals charged in major fraud cases. Quote, today's arrest is historic.
- 57:34Speaker 1: The first ever arrest of a subject on our most
- 57:36Speaker 1: wanted fraudsters list released last week with J.D. Vance's White
- 57:41Speaker 1: House Task Force to Eliminate Fraud. That was Patel. In
- 57:43Speaker 1: a statement, Cash Patel in a statement. So Cash, man,
- 57:46Speaker 1: Cash is staying busy here, ladies and gentlemen. They're picking
- 57:49Speaker 1: up fraudsters left and right. Hauling in jackasses who have
- 57:53Speaker 1: been stealing billions of dollars from you and me. This
- 57:57Speaker 1: is very good news. Very, very good news. In fact,
