- 0:25Speaker 1: we're here. Amen. I woke up in like, uh, I
- 0:29Speaker 1: was shocked. You know, when you wake up in a shock,
- 0:31Speaker 1: you're like, oh wow, I let the I let the
- 0:35Speaker 1: alarm get the best of me this morning. Amen, But
- 0:37Speaker 1: we're here. It's Friday, so you already know what it is.
- 0:40Speaker 1: It's authentic imitationlogy. This is episode number one oh five,
- 0:46Speaker 1: Episodes one oh five. Amen today on the Morning Devo
- 0:51Speaker 1: Authentic Imitationlogy. And today we're gonna talk about never a waste.
- 1:00Speaker 1: You know, some people go around thinking that following God
- 1:04Speaker 1: is a waste of time. I've heard it with my
- 1:07Speaker 1: own ears. That's a waste of time. I used to
- 1:10Speaker 1: be a Christian. You ever heard somebody say that I
- 1:12Speaker 1: used to be a Christian. I used to go to church.
- 1:15Speaker 1: I know the Bible. I read the Bible from cover
- 1:18Speaker 1: to cover. You ever heard people say that and they
- 1:20Speaker 1: said I did that and it was a waste of
- 1:22Speaker 1: my time. Well, I'm here to tell you is never
- 1:25Speaker 1: a waste A man, never a waste. Today on the morning, devo,
- 1:30Speaker 1: Jesus will never waste your time. Jesus will never waste
- 1:36Speaker 1: your time. The fact is that he invites you into
- 1:41Speaker 1: a life of purpose and fulfillment. So on the contrary,
- 1:47Speaker 1: I think the onlybody, only people, or any person who
- 1:50Speaker 1: wastes time sometimes it's us, a man. What's the hold
- 1:56Speaker 1: up of you getting into a personal relationship with God?
- 2:01Speaker 1: If that's you right now, just ask yourself. Okay, I
- 2:05Speaker 1: know you have a lot of excuses, because I used
- 2:06Speaker 1: to have a whole lot of excuses of why I
- 2:09Speaker 1: didn't serve the Lord, why I didn't believe in the Bible.
- 2:11Speaker 1: I didn't, you know, think Jesus was real, or why
- 2:15Speaker 1: I thought it was a waste of time before I
- 2:17Speaker 1: was saved. I used to think that too. Why because
- 2:20Speaker 1: I didn't know what I was talking about a man.
- 2:23Speaker 1: I didn't know who God was, I didn't know what
- 2:26Speaker 1: it meant to follow Christ. I thought being a Christian
- 2:29Speaker 1: men you had to be in a suit and tie
- 2:30Speaker 1: every day. This is I'm being honest, I thought that's
- 2:33Speaker 1: what it meant. I thought you had to be in
- 2:35Speaker 1: church every day, or you had to, you know, just
- 2:37Speaker 1: hang out with a certain group of people. You couldn't
- 2:40Speaker 1: do this, you couldn't do that. I put all these
- 2:42Speaker 1: rules all myself, just thinking about being a Christ follower
- 2:48Speaker 1: at the time until I met Jesus, until he came
- 2:54Speaker 1: into my life, transformed me, changed me, redeem me, saved me,
- 2:57Speaker 1: and gave me the born again experience that I'm experienced
- 3:01Speaker 1: currently right now. Never a waste today in the morning, Devo,
- 3:05Speaker 1: we're gonna be in Hebrews chapter thirteen, verse number five.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Hebrews Chapter thirteen, verse number five, since the joys I
- 3:13Speaker 1: see you, Good morning, God bless you in the group
- 3:16Speaker 1: on this beautiful Friday morning, and Jesus saying, yes, Friday,
- 3:19Speaker 1: there's a new day. Amen, And we are here on
- 3:22Speaker 1: Authentic Imitationlogy. This is episode one hundred and five. Wow.
- 3:27Speaker 1: God is good. He's faithful to his word. I'm telling
- 3:29Speaker 1: you he's faithful to his word, and he's never a waste. Amen.
- 3:33Speaker 1: If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or any prayer requests,
- 3:37Speaker 1: please don't hesitate to leave it on the live chat Manuel, God,
- 3:40Speaker 1: bless you. Good morning, God blessed. Welcome back to the
- 3:42Speaker 1: morning Devo, my friend. So we're here, so let's go forward.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Let's pray first. After we pray, help me share this
- 3:48Speaker 1: out for like sixty seconds, and when we come back
- 3:51Speaker 1: on the other side of those sixty seconds, we'll get
- 3:53Speaker 1: right into today's morning Devo. That I'm titling, never a
- 3:57Speaker 1: waste and Hebrews, chapter number thirteen, Verse number Father, I
- 4:03Speaker 1: thank you so much. You're an amazing God. You're not
- 4:07Speaker 1: a waste of time. Some people's hearts are so hard
- 4:10Speaker 1: right now, Lord God, I pray that you soften their hearts.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Some people are walking in deception. I pray that you
- 4:17Speaker 1: will reveal to them the truth and the way which
- 4:19Speaker 1: is you. Some people are just angry. I pray Lord God,
- 4:22Speaker 1: the peace of God over every single person who is
- 4:24Speaker 1: angered by whatever life through at them. Situations, relationships, finances, sickness, disease, loneliness, anxiety,
- 4:33Speaker 1: all that log God that the world and the enemy
- 4:37Speaker 1: presents to us. I pray, Lord God that you will
- 4:38Speaker 1: break us feet from all of it right now the
- 4:40Speaker 1: name of Jesus. And I pray Lord God that not
- 4:43Speaker 1: only will we survive in this world, but we would
- 4:45Speaker 1: thrive in this world, and that Lord God, that promised
- 4:48Speaker 1: abundant life that you offer, Lord God, will be a
- 4:51Speaker 1: reality today and moving forward in our lives. We know
- 4:55Speaker 1: that you are the author. We know that you are
- 4:58Speaker 1: the perfector of our faith. And I pray Love God,
- 5:01Speaker 1: and we worship you, and we know that you are
- 5:03Speaker 1: the real, true, loving, holy, Righteous One, the Savior, the Messiah,
- 5:09Speaker 1: the Mahiekh Magee. Thank you, Lord God for showing up
- 5:12Speaker 1: in our situations. Thank you, Lord God for revealing yourself
- 5:15Speaker 1: through your word. Thank you, Lord God for not leaving us,
- 5:19Speaker 1: not abandoning us, not keeping us aside, but offering us
- 5:24Speaker 1: eternal life through the sun, the only begotten Son, the
- 5:28Speaker 1: Lord Jesus Christ. I pray, Look God, a hedge of
- 5:31Speaker 1: protection over every single person that's watching and listening. I
- 5:34Speaker 1: pray a hedge protection over myself, my family, my wife,
- 5:39Speaker 1: our children, on both sides of the family, Little God,
- 5:42Speaker 1: our grandchildren. I pray, Lord God, that you will continue
- 5:45Speaker 1: to guide, guard and protect them, and that you would
- 5:48Speaker 1: set forth your ark greeen angels and your minister angels
- 5:51Speaker 1: to do the works of the Lord according to your will.
- 5:54Speaker 1: And purpose for every individual life, representing their families as well.
- 5:59Speaker 1: And Jesus the name I pray is by faith, and
- 6:02Speaker 1: those who agree we say amen to the Amen. Never
- 6:05Speaker 1: a waste, never waste. Today on the morning, DeVos so
- 6:09Speaker 1: man Weel says, Jesus removed the rules and regulations. Amen.
- 6:14Speaker 1: He followed them until he fulfilled them. He fulfill the
- 6:18Speaker 1: rules and regulations. He fulfilled the law. Amen. But yet
- 6:22Speaker 1: out of humility, he followed them Amen until a degree
- 6:27Speaker 1: to let people know that he was not breaking any
- 6:30Speaker 1: rules and any regulations and any laws. Bro the tyrese,
- 6:34Speaker 1: mister gas in the building, God bless you, my bro. Amen. Amen,
- 6:38Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Sixty seconds. I may share
- 6:41Speaker 1: a sign when we come back. We'll get right into it.
- 6:42Speaker 1: I'll be right back. All right, we're back. Let's go
- 8:08Speaker 1: for it. Man, that was cool. I really shared a
- 8:11Speaker 1: lot of groups right there in that session. For some reason,
- 8:16Speaker 1: everything was in order this time. Usually I have to
- 8:18Speaker 1: search around for the groups. Amen. I'm over here letting
- 8:21Speaker 1: you know what I do in a minute. But it's
- 8:23Speaker 1: funny because usually I have to search around for the groups.
- 8:25Speaker 1: But it was all in order. Thank you Jesus. Amen.
- 8:28Speaker 1: That helps out a lot. So Joyce says, thank you
- 8:31Speaker 1: for your prayers. Amen. Of course, it's the joys anytime.
- 8:36Speaker 1: It's my privilege. Amen. I'm humbled to do that for
- 8:41Speaker 1: you and for my family. I listen. I'm a prayer warrior.
- 8:45Speaker 1: I l L I pray every day because I know
- 8:48Speaker 1: there will never be a shortage of prayer like prayer request. Man,
- 8:53Speaker 1: I'm always thinking about things to pray for because it's
- 8:55Speaker 1: always something to pray for. If you could, if I
- 8:58Speaker 1: could spend time being angry, that means I have time
- 9:03Speaker 1: to pray. I have to spend time word to worry,
- 9:05Speaker 1: I have time to pray, So I'll put that as priority. Amen.
- 9:10Speaker 1: So you're welcome, brother Frank. Bless you, Brother Sam. Yeah,
- 9:14Speaker 1: how you doing brother God? Bless you brother Frank. Welcome
- 9:18Speaker 1: back to the morning Devo with my brother and my friend.
- 9:20Speaker 1: So let's go forward. Those who are just listening online.
- 9:24Speaker 1: So Win is with a z do Orgy to celebrate
- 9:26Speaker 1: a network. Welcome back, Amen, it's the privileged to have you.
- 9:30Speaker 1: I see the numbers they're encouraging and also on those
- 9:33Speaker 1: who are live that so Win is with a z
- 9:35Speaker 1: dot org. I see the numbers over there as well.
- 9:37Speaker 1: It's growing. Amen. We get a good number of people
- 9:40Speaker 1: going over there too. But don't be shy. The chat
- 9:43Speaker 1: line over there is wide open as well. It's a
- 9:46Speaker 1: live chat. It's actually a Bible that you can follow
- 9:49Speaker 1: along word for word with what we're reading. Amen. Right there,
- 9:53Speaker 1: interactive Bible right there on that website. It's also where
- 9:56Speaker 1: you can subscribe to my podcast and that you could
- 9:58Speaker 1: join the email list as well. So we're here. We're
- 10:01Speaker 1: trying our best to get this out to as many
- 10:04Speaker 1: people as possible. Many people page to get into the
- 10:08Speaker 1: word for themselves. Amen. Amen. Please share the live Amen, yes,
- 10:13Speaker 1: thank you so much. Help me share this out whether
- 10:18Speaker 1: I'm live or not. It's all good. You realize that
- 10:20Speaker 1: if I'm no longer live, because most people watch this
- 10:23Speaker 1: on the replay, So you can share it out, Amen,
- 10:26Speaker 1: don't be shy. Help a brother share. Amen. Like my
- 10:29Speaker 1: daughter says, sharing is caring. She always says that. All right,
- 10:33Speaker 1: So let's go for it. Let me put this on
- 10:35Speaker 1: the screen so that way we could get this movement
- 10:37Speaker 1: and we could get to the first scripture of the day,
- 10:40Speaker 1: the main scripture of the day, the one we're going
- 10:42Speaker 1: to be focusing on today. Amen, So here we go.
- 10:46Speaker 1: Sensic imitationology. Amen. No, bright colors, I change it up
- 10:51Speaker 1: a little bit, and big letters. Amen, bright colors and
- 10:56Speaker 1: big letters. Let's see if this grabs people attention. Right,
- 11:00Speaker 1: never o waste Peoblew's Chapter thirteen, verse number five says,
- 11:05Speaker 1: let your character, your moral essence, your inner nature, be
- 11:11Speaker 1: free from the love of money, shun greed, be financially ethical,
- 11:19Speaker 1: being content with what you have. For he has said,
- 11:27Speaker 1: I will never, under any circumstances, desert you, nor give
- 11:34Speaker 1: you up, nor leave you without support, Nor will I
- 11:40Speaker 1: in any degree leave you helpless. Nor will I forsake
- 11:47Speaker 1: or let you down, or relax my hold on you
- 11:51Speaker 1: are surely not. You can also reference this with Joshua
- 11:54Speaker 1: chapter on, verse number five. Now, this scripture, it talks
- 11:58Speaker 1: about a lot of things that will fail you. Money
- 12:03Speaker 1: will fail you. Shun greed, be financially ethical, greed for money,
- 12:11Speaker 1: greed to get ahead. You're going to be stepping on
- 12:14Speaker 1: other people's toes. You're got to be selfish, you go
- 12:17Speaker 1: to be prideful if you allow money to shape you.
- 12:22Speaker 1: Character is a big thing when it comes to God
- 12:26Speaker 1: and your relationship with the Lord Your character is not
- 12:29Speaker 1: what you do in front of Christians or a church
- 12:33Speaker 1: as much as it is what you do outside of
- 12:37Speaker 1: that environment, outside of church, outside of the community of believers. Right,
- 12:44Speaker 1: what do you do when the doors are closed? That's character?
- 12:48Speaker 1: So versus is packed with a whole bunch of stuff.
- 12:54Speaker 1: That's never a waste your character building that up. So
- 12:58Speaker 1: when things happen in our lives, Amen. I know I
- 13:01Speaker 1: don't like drama. I don't like to go through things
- 13:04Speaker 1: either that are painful, but that will build your character
- 13:07Speaker 1: if you're trusting and the one who will never waste
- 13:10Speaker 1: your time. Right, be content what you have. I know
- 13:15Speaker 1: a lot of people want way more. I want some
- 13:17Speaker 1: more stuff as well, but I'm content with I with
- 13:22Speaker 1: what I already have, and what I have I will
- 13:24Speaker 1: use to his fullest degree for the sake of the kingdom. Amen.
- 13:29Speaker 1: Since the Joy says I love that instead of complaining,
- 13:32Speaker 1: praise and pray. Yes, Amen, I really ever complain. I
- 13:37Speaker 1: do complain, Amen, but I try my best not to. Amen.
- 13:42Speaker 1: And it's a rare thing for people who know me.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I could be going through a lot and I really
- 13:47Speaker 1: will complain, really, Amen, because I know complaining is not
- 13:51Speaker 1: to get anything done, So be content with what you have. Why,
- 13:57Speaker 1: For he has said I will never desert you. In
- 14:01Speaker 1: other words, Jesus, the Lord will never waste your time,
- 14:08Speaker 1: never waste my time your time. He will never leave us,
- 14:11Speaker 1: No for sake is desert us, nor will in any
- 14:15Speaker 1: degree leave you helpless. God is a god who will
- 14:18Speaker 1: help you in our time of need, help me at
- 14:21Speaker 1: my time of need, help you at your time of need.
- 14:24Speaker 1: And he gets there right on time, never late. It
- 14:27Speaker 1: seems like he's waiting for the last second sometimes, but
- 14:31Speaker 1: he has it all perfectly orchestrated. No will I forsake
- 14:34Speaker 1: you or let you down, amen, because God is not
- 14:39Speaker 1: a man that he should lie. God is not a
- 14:41Speaker 1: person who promises you something and lets you down on
- 14:44Speaker 1: those promises. He won't relax his hold on you, surely
- 14:49Speaker 1: not to let us encourage you. Man. God's not wasting time.
- 14:53Speaker 1: He's not wasting no one's time. Amen. He's a guy
- 14:56Speaker 1: who saves, a God who rescues, a perfect God Amen,
- 15:00Speaker 1: who loves you and loves me Amen, and wants us
- 15:03Speaker 1: to know that it's never a waste to follow him,
- 15:07Speaker 1: never a waste to follow the Lord. I want to
- 15:10Speaker 1: spend a little more time than usual on the scripture
- 15:13Speaker 1: today because I want that to sink into your soul,
- 15:17Speaker 1: sink into your spirit. Amen, it's my notes. So Jesus
- 15:24Speaker 1: is far from a waste of time. And if you
- 15:27Speaker 1: have a personal relationship with the Lord, you know that already.
- 15:30Speaker 1: But it's some people who have some kind of religious experience,
- 15:35Speaker 1: knowing about God, knowing about the Lord, knowing about Church,
- 15:39Speaker 1: knowing about the Body of Christ, and they have this
- 15:44Speaker 1: idea that they have to do certain things to gain
- 15:48Speaker 1: access on to this Lord of lords and to this
- 15:52Speaker 1: king of king, the Lord Jesus yesshiahamashiak. They think you
- 15:56Speaker 1: have to do this, that and the third, not realizing
- 15:59Speaker 1: that what we're doing and experiencing right now as a
- 16:01Speaker 1: born again believer, we're experiencing the finished work of the Lord,
- 16:06Speaker 1: not the undone work of the Lord. We've experienced the
- 16:10Speaker 1: finished work of the Lord. So instead of doing this
- 16:13Speaker 1: and doing that and that's religion, why don't you settle
- 16:16Speaker 1: for what God really has done through his son and
- 16:20Speaker 1: experience the done work of the Lord. It's not a religion.
- 16:24Speaker 1: This is a relationship. So Jesus is far from a
- 16:27Speaker 1: waste of time. He offers us the most meaningful relationship
- 16:32Speaker 1: we can ever experience. Jesus himself said I am the Way,
- 16:40Speaker 1: the Truth, and the Life in John fourteen six, indicating
- 16:46Speaker 1: that he is the source of true life. He is
- 16:50Speaker 1: the source of true fulfillment. You want to be satisfied,
- 16:54Speaker 1: you want your soul to be satisfied. Follow God, the
- 16:57Speaker 1: satisfier of your soul. Amen. Never wastes your time, never
- 17:01Speaker 1: wastes my time. He's always available, He's always there. He's
- 17:06Speaker 1: Jehovah Shama, the God who was there in your situation,
- 17:10Speaker 1: and a God who is there in my situation. Amazing
- 17:13Speaker 1: God that knows all of us, a man intimately pays
- 17:18Speaker 1: attention to us. Intimately, here's our cry right, seze our
- 17:25Speaker 1: needs and provides for every single one of those needs.
- 17:29Speaker 1: Trust in God. He's never a waste of time. Through him,
- 17:35Speaker 1: we find purpose right because let's face it, before Jesus,
- 17:40Speaker 1: we didn't have a purpose. We didn't know our purpose.
- 17:43Speaker 1: We were lost. Jesus found us. We didn't find him.
- 17:47Speaker 1: God found us. We didn't find God. And I know
- 17:49Speaker 1: I say that sometimes out of habit, but technically and biblically,
- 17:56Speaker 1: we didn't find God. God found us. We were lost.
- 17:59Speaker 1: He was never lost. He's never lost. God knows exactly
- 18:02Speaker 1: what he's doing. He knows exactly where he is, he
- 18:05Speaker 1: knows exactly who he is. He knows exactly how to
- 18:09Speaker 1: save us. Amen. He has the ultimate plan. He has
- 18:13Speaker 1: a purpose for your life, and a purpose for my life,
- 18:15Speaker 1: and an ultimate plan for our lives. So through him
- 18:19Speaker 1: we find purpose, identity, and peace. Identity is huge, especially
- 18:24Speaker 1: in the culture we're living in where culture is trying
- 18:27Speaker 1: to redefine identity, trying to redefine ethics, trying to redefine
- 18:35Speaker 1: what's good and what's bad, trying to redefine life and death,
- 18:40Speaker 1: trying to redefine gender, redefine all kinds of things. That's
- 18:44Speaker 1: the culture, and the culture is going to do with
- 18:46Speaker 1: the culture. Does I know we coin the frame as believers,
- 18:50Speaker 1: culture wars and all that. I'm really not at war
- 18:53Speaker 1: with the culture, Amen. I'm at war with myself, my flesh,
- 18:59Speaker 1: my own evil desires. And it's because of the draw
- 19:04Speaker 1: of the world, the temptation of the world, not because
- 19:07Speaker 1: of anything else. God is definitely not tempting me, He's
- 19:11Speaker 1: not tempting you. There's a test of our faith going
- 19:13Speaker 1: on on a day to day. Haven't you noticed? Amen?
- 19:17Speaker 1: You could be in any circle, any conversation and discuss
- 19:21Speaker 1: God and some people will be okay with that. Okay,
- 19:25Speaker 1: this person believes that there's a God. But as soon
- 19:28Speaker 1: as you bring up the name, yes youah, Jesus, the Messiah, oo,
- 19:34Speaker 1: people get mad and they'll be like, hell, here we go.
- 19:37Speaker 1: You must be a Christian, so you must think that
- 19:41Speaker 1: the Bible is real. You must think that Jesus is
- 19:44Speaker 1: Lord and King and God and Savior. You must think
- 19:48Speaker 1: that you're living a life that is going to be
- 19:50Speaker 1: a purpose. And they know where we're going. It's just
- 19:55Speaker 1: that they don't want to believe it. It's not that
- 19:57Speaker 1: they can't believe it. It's that they purpose in their
- 19:59Speaker 1: heart not to believe it. I know because I used
- 20:02Speaker 1: to be that person. Amen. I knew there was a God.
- 20:07Speaker 1: I just didn't know who he was, Amen, until he
- 20:11Speaker 1: met me where I was and now he's taken me
- 20:14Speaker 1: to where he is. It's a journey, man, It's a
- 20:17Speaker 1: beautiful journey as a matter of fact, and I'm not
- 20:19Speaker 1: ashamed of the gospel. Sister Juwayne, good morning, God bless you.
- 20:23Speaker 1: Welcome back to the morning. Devo. My sister. My friend
- 20:25Speaker 1: is Friday. So we're in authentic imitationology mood. This is
- 20:29Speaker 1: episode one O five, and today we're calling this one
- 20:32Speaker 1: never a waste. So the relationship we have with Jesus
- 20:38Speaker 1: is not about religious rituals. I always said all the time,
- 20:43Speaker 1: people are really cool with these religious traditions that they're
- 20:47Speaker 1: so accustomed to, and they're not even honest enough to
- 20:51Speaker 1: realize that they're in a religious tradition that's actually null
- 20:55Speaker 1: and void some systems that are null and void. As
- 20:58Speaker 1: a born again believer. They want to bring Old Covenant
- 21:02Speaker 1: traditions and Old Covenant truth, which is truth. Right. I'm
- 21:05Speaker 1: not saying the Old Covenant is not the truth. And
- 21:08Speaker 1: I know I'm always accused of people saying you want
- 21:10Speaker 1: to always do away with the law and the Old Covenant.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I can't do that even if I wanted to. The
- 21:15Speaker 1: Old Covenant is a prophecy of what the New Covenant
- 21:19Speaker 1: was going to fulfill. The Old Testament prophesied about the
- 21:22Speaker 1: messide that was to come. He came, He born from
- 21:27Speaker 1: a virgin, He lived thirty three and a half years,
- 21:29Speaker 1: died on the cross, and rose again on the third day.
- 21:32Speaker 1: Is alive? Is sended to heaven, sent back one just
- 21:36Speaker 1: like him, Holy Spirit God, and promised his return. I know,
- 21:40Speaker 1: without the Old Covenant we wouldn't have the New Covenant.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I understand that. But a lot of traditions and systems
- 21:46Speaker 1: and rituals. People who are holding onto for whatever reason,
- 21:50Speaker 1: some laws, some laws. To hear what I'm saying, they're
- 21:53Speaker 1: still holding onto and now holding on to the tank commandments.
- 21:56Speaker 1: They're just holding on to the certain law that will
- 21:58Speaker 1: benefit them amen, for whatever reason. But we're not under
- 22:02Speaker 1: that anymore, not under that system anymore. And I could
- 22:05Speaker 1: prove to have a scripture, but I don't have time.
- 22:07Speaker 1: I just want to read my notes, not about religious
- 22:12Speaker 1: rituals or obligations, but about experiencing His love and grace.
- 22:19Speaker 1: Love and grace. Now that grace, peace man is huge.
- 22:23Speaker 1: People are actually thinking that they're getting away with a
- 22:26Speaker 1: lot of stuff. It's not that it's not that we're
- 22:29Speaker 1: getting away with anything. It's just the grace of God
- 22:32Speaker 1: is so amazing that we're overlooking the obvious and the
- 22:35Speaker 1: obvious is that the reason why God is not striking
- 22:39Speaker 1: people like he struck people in the Old Covenant, and
- 22:43Speaker 1: he commanded this to happen and commanded that to happen
- 22:45Speaker 1: because we're under grace. He's being patient with us, a
- 22:50Speaker 1: man patient with you and patient with me. Right, Manuel says,
- 22:55Speaker 1: the Old Covenant was a tutor for things to come. Yes,
- 23:01Speaker 1: it's okay, amen, we understand. We need to understand what
- 23:06Speaker 1: came before, governant, so we could see it all in sotality.
- 23:11Speaker 1: When Jesus spoke to the religious people of his time,
- 23:13Speaker 1: he was referring to the Old Covenant. I mean, I'm
- 23:16Speaker 1: not going to deny that there was no new Covenant
- 23:19Speaker 1: out yet they and the disciples spoke about the Old
- 23:23Speaker 1: Covenant often because they were dealing with people who were
- 23:26Speaker 1: still under that system, and they were introducing the new system,
- 23:31Speaker 1: the Kingdom of God. So we have this, we have
- 23:34Speaker 1: these conversations to this every day, men, and there's people
- 23:38Speaker 1: on both sides of the fence. Every single day. He
- 23:42Speaker 1: invites us into a life of freedom where we are
- 23:45Speaker 1: no longer bound by guilt or fear. We could read
- 23:49Speaker 1: that in Romans chapter eight, verses one and two. No
- 23:52Speaker 1: longer bound. We're not helpless, we're not hopeless. We're not
- 23:57Speaker 1: supposed to be afraid of everything that comes our way,
- 23:59Speaker 1: especially when we have a God that will never waste
- 24:01Speaker 1: our time, a God who will never forsake us, leave
- 24:04Speaker 1: us abandoned, put us to shame, A God that wants
- 24:07Speaker 1: us to shun greed and the love of money. He
- 24:10Speaker 1: doesn't want us to love money. He wants us to
- 24:12Speaker 1: love him. Remember, he doesn't force us to do any
- 24:15Speaker 1: of it. But he shows himself and reveals himself to
- 24:18Speaker 1: be a good God, so good that you realize that
- 24:22Speaker 1: there's no the reason not to serve him. Amen, No,
- 24:26Speaker 1: all the reason not to believe him. There's no other
- 24:28Speaker 1: reason to think that he's wasting our time. Jesus is
- 24:32Speaker 1: not a waste of time. He's never wasting our time,
- 24:35Speaker 1: and he will never be a waste of time. God
- 24:37Speaker 1: is good. He's faithful to his word, faithful to his promises,
- 24:40Speaker 1: faithful to you, and faithful to me, a man, faithful
- 24:43Speaker 1: to our family. He's a God of mercy and grace,
- 24:46Speaker 1: love and truth. What else? What are you searching for?
- 24:50Speaker 1: If you're not seeking love, Amen, then what are you seeking?
- 24:54Speaker 1: If you're not seeking truth, then what he's seeking. And
- 24:57Speaker 1: if you're seeking true love, you'll find God. If you're
- 24:59Speaker 1: seeking truth on Jesus, Amen, And then you'll be inspired.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Once you get into a relationship with him, you'll be
- 25:05Speaker 1: inspired to move forward in the way he wants us
- 25:07Speaker 1: to move a man according to his word, according to
- 25:10Speaker 1: his promises, according to his scripture. So I hope you're
- 25:12Speaker 1: encourage today. This is a new start, a new year. Amen.
- 25:17Speaker 1: Many people take it as a way to reset themselves
- 25:21Speaker 1: and get back into the things that really matter. And
- 25:24Speaker 1: that's okay. Amen. Let's plan to be more enthusiastic about
- 25:29Speaker 1: who God is in our lives. Let's plan to read
- 25:31Speaker 1: the scriptures more, Amen, this year, and let's do it together. Man.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Let's be who's God called us to be. And we
- 25:39Speaker 1: are the bride of Christ. We are the body of Christ,
- 25:41Speaker 1: and we are the hope for this world. I know
- 25:44Speaker 1: they hate on us, but we are actually the hope
- 25:46Speaker 1: of this world because we have Holy Spirit, the hope
- 25:48Speaker 1: of glory, which is the hope for this whole world. Amen,
- 25:51Speaker 1: until the return of Jesus. So I hope you're encouraged.
- 25:55Speaker 1: Read Hebrews the chapter thirteen. Amen, for you yourself. And
- 26:00Speaker 1: I don't know how I got in here. Amen. Read
- 26:03Speaker 1: Hebrews thirteen for yourself. That's where we were. We can't
- 26:06Speaker 1: fund a verse number five, but read the whole chapter
- 26:09Speaker 1: and see whether I took it out of context or not.
- 26:11Speaker 1: But I believe the Lord will speak to you individually.
- 26:14Speaker 1: So God bless you all, God keep you all, and
- 26:17Speaker 1: remember always that God is good. Peace,
