- 0:00Speaker 1: This is the Ben and Ashley I almost famous podcast
- 0:03Speaker 1: with on our radio.
- 0:06Speaker 2: It's the almost famous podcast. Yes, we are back with
- 0:08Speaker 2: another big week breakdowns and episodes and content. We could
- 0:12Speaker 2: not be more excited to be here. There are so
- 0:16Speaker 2: many amazing things happening in Batchination as we've been talking
- 0:19Speaker 2: about for the last few weeks, and well the headlines
- 0:22Speaker 2: still haven't stopped. So we got great TV, we got
- 0:24Speaker 2: great headlines, and we got the great co host Ashley
- 0:28Speaker 2: here with me today.
- 0:30Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 0:30Speaker 4: I have the great co host Ben Higgins here with me.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Well, I guess we're just great together. Is that what
- 0:37Speaker 2: we'd say? Yeah? Just great together?
- 0:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we're self describing Ben?
- 0:41Speaker 2: Well, you know you know we're not because I'm describing
- 0:43Speaker 2: you and you're describing me. So that's fine.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Great together? Are you gloud to say that? Yeah? I
- 0:47Speaker 4: guess you are. You know I according to your rules, I.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Think we're together. Actually, I don't know if I could
- 0:55Speaker 2: do this show with anybody else.
- 0:57Speaker 4: I don't think I could do anything.
- 0:59Speaker 3: I could didn't possibly feel like we could have a
- 1:02Speaker 3: healthier communication.
- 1:04Speaker 2: I agree, And then do you work? It's weird. Actually,
- 1:10Speaker 2: I always know like I enjoy working with you. Like,
- 1:12Speaker 2: that's never a secret to me. It's never something that,
- 1:14Speaker 2: uh that, like I forget. I feel very fortunate to
- 1:18Speaker 2: have you as a friend and to have you as
- 1:20Speaker 2: a as a partner in this and as my work
- 1:22Speaker 2: wife and someboday. Sometimes some weeks I talk to more
- 1:25Speaker 2: than my wife because I'm traveling, which isn't healthy for anybody.
- 1:30Speaker 2: But the the thing that, uh that that really kind
- 1:35Speaker 2: of fired me up this week, and I want to
- 1:37Speaker 2: mention this to the listeners because I think it's worth
- 1:39Speaker 2: it is when Katie Thurston, without us asking, without us
- 1:44Speaker 2: pushing her, she she posted right after we did an
- 1:46Speaker 2: interview with her, and it was one of her favorite
- 1:49Speaker 2: interviews ever. If it might not be her favorite.
- 1:51Speaker 4: It was the kindest thing. I was so pleased. I'm
- 1:54Speaker 4: so surprised.
- 1:55Speaker 2: It was just surprising because you know, there wasn't that
- 1:58Speaker 2: push up. Can you post about this? Can you share
- 2:00Speaker 2: about she just did it? And you know what I
- 2:02Speaker 2: thought at that moment, Ashley, I thought, you know what,
- 2:04Speaker 2: I typically when you go on podcasts, especially around this show,
- 2:09Speaker 2: I think people have the concern that the hosts are
- 2:12Speaker 2: just going to try to pull out the headline or
- 2:15Speaker 2: just going to try to dig into the juice and
- 2:18Speaker 2: almost you leave this podcast when you do these interviews
- 2:20Speaker 2: feeling worse about yourself and worse about the situation than
- 2:23Speaker 2: when you hit your name. And I think with Katie,
- 2:27Speaker 2: it just reminded me that, hey, this can be done well,
- 2:30Speaker 2: it can be done respectfully, and you can still get
- 2:34Speaker 2: great juice, Like you can still get it because the
- 2:37Speaker 2: juice is the truth. And if you could just get
- 2:39Speaker 2: the truth out like huge win. And I want to
- 2:43Speaker 2: say thanks to Katie for posting that. And then also
- 2:45Speaker 2: if you haven't listened to an episode about all the
- 2:47Speaker 2: crazy stuff she's up to in life, I mean you
- 2:50Speaker 2: got to go back and listen to it because it
- 2:52Speaker 2: is a good interview with Katie. She does share in
- 2:54Speaker 2: a very vulnerable way how she's walking through this process
- 2:57Speaker 2: of being you know, in Paradise and then also on
- 3:03Speaker 2: f Boy Island.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Yeah, she also gave just the best teasers that leave
- 3:09Speaker 4: you wanting to know more.
- 3:11Speaker 3: And I think next week we'll get to know more.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Even though this Paradise episode doesn't really tease her appearance
- 3:17Speaker 3: next week, we.
- 3:20Speaker 4: Will see but it has to be Yeah, I.
- 3:22Speaker 2: Mean I can't wait much longer, Like if she is
- 3:25Speaker 2: actually on the beach, which as.
- 3:28Speaker 4: A cast member.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Yeah, then then I want multiple weeks of Katie. I
- 3:34Speaker 2: don't want to one little week of Katie. I know
- 3:38Speaker 2: that's maybe part of her contract.
- 3:39Speaker 3: Who knows, Oh, it could be because she said she
- 3:41Speaker 3: was a good business woman and she knows how to
- 3:43Speaker 3: create a contract that'll work for her.
- 3:45Speaker 2: But good for her. We do have headlines today, so
- 3:48Speaker 2: we're going to dive into them. The first headline I
- 3:51Speaker 2: want to talk to you about is congratulations to Astroid
- 3:55Speaker 2: and Kevin. You know, obviously this is a couple that
- 3:58Speaker 2: met in Paradise and and Kevin have aster gave birth.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yes, she did be they did not have a baby,
- 4:09Speaker 3: she had the baby, and now they have a baby together.
- 4:14Speaker 2: Number two. This is baby number two for them.
- 4:16Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:16Speaker 3: So they actually announced the pregnancy within four weeks of
- 4:22Speaker 3: her being pregnant because it was another IVF experience for
- 4:25Speaker 3: them and they just wanted to be Oh, they've been
- 4:28Speaker 3: open about their IVF journey with their other son, Augie,
- 4:33Speaker 3: and now they wanted to be transparent the entire time
- 4:36Speaker 3: with this pregnancy. It ended up going very wonderfully successfully
- 4:40Speaker 3: and the baby was born on October seventh. Everyone's doing well,
- 4:46Speaker 3: the baby's name is Nash Lochland went and I like
- 4:51Speaker 3: the name Nash Lochland. Yeah, it's very nice. And it
- 4:55Speaker 3: was born just before Canadian Thanksgiving, so it was a
- 4:59Speaker 3: great cozy time. I'm in a time to be grateful,
- 5:01Speaker 3: which they are very.
- 5:04Speaker 2: They're very grateful and we're grateful. Celebrate that well, also
- 5:07Speaker 2: things that celebrate uh tea booth tea Booth celebrates her
- 5:12Speaker 2: bachelorette party in Cabo, and the headline says this, she
- 5:16Speaker 2: was wearing a cheeky black swimsuit, so actually there was
- 5:20Speaker 2: some bachlorination a lums there tell us about it.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Okay, So when they say cheeky, I was like, oh
- 5:26Speaker 3: so like kind of like a thong one of those
- 5:30Speaker 3: black box bottoms like we saw Cat wearing in this
- 5:33Speaker 3: episode in this week.
- 5:37Speaker 4: Oh I don't love I allowed to say that.
- 5:38Speaker 3: I yet it's it's it's one of those black box bikinis.
- 5:41Speaker 3: But that's actually not what they're referring to. On the
- 5:44Speaker 3: bathing suit, it had the phrase same dick forever. Yes,
- 5:52Speaker 3: so like so classic raunchy bachelorette and she was joined
- 5:57Speaker 3: with her bestie who got her on the show, Raving
- 6:00Speaker 3: Gates and Caroline Lunely Loney. How do you say Caroline's
- 6:06Speaker 3: last name? I've always said Loney, Caroline Loney, And they
- 6:11Speaker 3: just had a great time. They poked fun on one
- 6:15Speaker 3: of their Instagram reels about how like how your fiance
- 6:19Speaker 3: is imagining your bachelorette party going on at going on
- 6:23Speaker 3: while he's at home, and like it's all raunchy and sexy,
- 6:26Speaker 3: and then like what reality is and like they're basically
- 6:28Speaker 3: in the hot tub together making like founding fathers hair
- 6:32Speaker 3: styles on each other.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It's uh, I mean that's what you want, right. I
- 6:37Speaker 2: think my bachelor party actually was it time for me
- 6:42Speaker 2: to feel like I was, if anything, made back in
- 6:44Speaker 2: high school again. So I saw high school friends and
- 6:46Speaker 2: college friends and then you know, friends from new seasons
- 6:48Speaker 2: of life as adults. But when you get to that,
- 6:50Speaker 2: it's like it's it's kind of like a golf trip
- 6:54Speaker 2: for me. What golf trips are a little more formal
- 6:56Speaker 2: because usually enough nice place. It's like one of the
- 6:58Speaker 2: only times where you just feel like you and go
- 7:00Speaker 2: back to those days and just be ridiculous. It doesn't
- 7:03Speaker 2: have to be raunchy, it doesn't have to be wild.
- 7:05Speaker 2: It can just be fun to be around your buddies
- 7:07Speaker 2: again doing stupid stuff.
- 7:09Speaker 3: It's so rare in life that we can get friends
- 7:12Speaker 3: together from so many different ads, like chapters of your
- 7:15Speaker 3: life together.
- 7:15Speaker 4: In one room and it's it's amazing. It's the best.
- 7:18Speaker 3: My bachelorette party was something that I didn't necessarily want.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I wasn't like I was not a bachelorette party person
- 7:24Speaker 3: in my head, but then my friends organized it in
- 7:27Speaker 3: the most Ashley fashioned and it was one of the best,
- 7:30Speaker 3: most memorable days.
- 7:32Speaker 2: That's awesome. Well, this is an interesting headline to me
- 7:35Speaker 2: because there's a season of life that Jessica and I
- 7:39Speaker 2: were considering this and and it didn't happen for us,
- 7:45Speaker 2: but it is intriguing. This is the headline why Jojo
- 7:49Speaker 2: Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are happier after moving to Puerto Rico.
- 7:55Speaker 3: So do you want to talk about you and jess first,
- 7:58Speaker 3: or do you want me to read the headline?
- 8:00Speaker 2: Uh? Well, I think with jess and I, it was
- 8:02Speaker 2: just an interesting idea.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Right.
- 8:04Speaker 2: It's a beautiful place there, you know, it's very accessible
- 8:08Speaker 2: to the US. Uh, it's warm. But they were the
- 8:15Speaker 2: really one of the first people in vaccin nation. Maybe
- 8:17Speaker 2: the only at this point now to make that big
- 8:19Speaker 2: jump to go to Puerto Rico to live in Puerto Rico,
- 8:23Speaker 2: and they do seem to be loving it. It feels
- 8:25Speaker 2: like they've made a great life for themselves down there.
- 8:28Speaker 3: So in this article, the the crux of it is
- 8:31Speaker 3: that they just love that they're able to be outside
- 8:34Speaker 3: all the time round around the year. Their dogs are
- 8:37Speaker 3: able to be outside being active, and they just finished
- 8:42Speaker 3: like there was just an idea to like maybe spend
- 8:45Speaker 3: some time in Puerto Rico, but they decided to remodel,
- 8:48Speaker 3: and finally, after two years, the renovation has finally come
- 8:51Speaker 3: to a close and everything's feeling very set, steady and stable,
- 8:56Speaker 3: like that is their home. So they also keep a
- 8:59Speaker 3: little home in Dallas so that whenever they go to
- 9:03Speaker 3: Dallas to like want to feel different temperatures, you know,
- 9:06Speaker 3: just like have a little fall weak, feel a little cold,
- 9:10Speaker 3: they have that to go to. But yeah, they're like
- 9:13Speaker 3: it's really their main residence now. But my thing is
- 9:15Speaker 3: just with the amount that Jordan travels for football, I
- 9:19Speaker 3: can't imagine the flights because it's not in the continental US.
- 9:24Speaker 3: You're still having at least in like an hour in
- 9:26Speaker 3: the air just to get to you know, America.
- 9:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know how that looks for him, but
- 9:32Speaker 2: I'm sure it had added some complexity. But also with
- 9:35Speaker 2: the house in Dallas, then maybe he can just go
- 9:37Speaker 2: back there, you know, it's a little easy. Yeah, call
- 9:39Speaker 2: that home during the football season. I don't know. You
- 9:43Speaker 2: know what I like about this is they mentioned living
- 9:47Speaker 2: in Colorado. They mentioned when they want to feel a little colder,
- 9:49Speaker 2: they go to Dallas, which, yes, I was.
- 9:52Speaker 4: A little plurplexed, a little perplex.
- 9:59Speaker 3: Are you like to telling us that you just when
- 10:01Speaker 3: you want to feel sixty degrees in November, that maybe
- 10:04Speaker 3: you go to Texas?
- 10:06Speaker 2: That It's ridiculous and Jess would love that if I
- 10:08Speaker 2: was like, hey, let's feel some cold weather. It's good.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Sixty series after the next time one is this. Bachelor
- 10:24Speaker 2: Nation alum and former Bachelor Ari Lendyke says he would
- 10:28Speaker 2: support kids becoming race car drivers. Obviously we know that
- 10:32Speaker 2: that are was a was a race car driver and
- 10:35Speaker 2: a past life. He's no longer doing that, but Ashley,
- 10:39Speaker 2: it does feel like a big deal to look at
- 10:41Speaker 2: your kids and say that you would support that, because
- 10:43Speaker 2: it is a very dangerous sport.
- 10:45Speaker 3: Well, I guess it would be kind of I don't
- 10:47Speaker 3: know as the hippocriticals of the word. But Ari's dad,
- 10:51Speaker 3: he was like the big race car driver in the family.
- 10:54Speaker 3: He won the Indianapolis five hundred and both nineteen ninety
- 10:58Speaker 3: and nineteen ninety seven. Ari saying it's just like in
- 11:01Speaker 3: the blood in the roots. It's also they're also from
- 11:04Speaker 3: the Netherlands and it's a it's a big deal there,
- 11:08Speaker 3: and he says, quote, I've always had a love hate
- 11:10Speaker 3: relationship with my career. Lots of pressure and expectations, but
- 11:15Speaker 3: at the same time, the most incredible experiences came from racing.
- 11:19Speaker 3: It's an amazing adventure if you have the passion to
- 11:22Speaker 3: see it through. If they the kids want to drive,
- 11:27Speaker 3: then I will back them one thousand percent.
- 11:31Speaker 2: Here's the weird thing about Ari. His dad was an
- 11:35Speaker 2: incredible driver, and Ari had had a good career. You know,
- 11:38Speaker 2: he didn't have his dad's career, and that's why why
- 11:40Speaker 2: he says he has a love hate relationship with it. Ari.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Here's the weird thing I was getting to is ariuh
- 11:46Speaker 2: is not a short man, and typically race car drivers
- 11:49Speaker 2: are very short because they're sitting astars like he's.
- 11:53Speaker 4: Would be over Yeah, he's over set.
- 11:55Speaker 2: You just have the body for indy car. You know,
- 11:58Speaker 2: he couldn't crunch up into that thing for hours at
- 12:00Speaker 2: a time like the others could like that. He just
- 12:03Speaker 2: wasn't built for it, and so you know, I get it.
- 12:05Speaker 2: I also want to say this, actually, how cool would
- 12:07Speaker 2: it be to grow up as a kid and know
- 12:09Speaker 2: that your grandfather and your father raced cars for a living. Like,
- 12:13Speaker 2: think about just like how infatuated you would be with them,
- 12:16Speaker 2: and then also the fact that that both of them
- 12:18Speaker 2: have the access to get you on the track. Also
- 12:21Speaker 2: when you, like are old enough to go really fast
- 12:25Speaker 2: and to drive, like you would think they're the coolest people.
- 12:27Speaker 4: Ever for sure.
- 12:29Speaker 3: But now I'm also thinking about how dangerous it is, Like,
- 12:32Speaker 3: how would I want to know Lauren's take on this?
- 12:34Speaker 3: Next time when they're on the podcast, gonna be like,
- 12:36Speaker 3: so is Lauren backing them with one thousand percent on
- 12:40Speaker 3: getting in the driver's seat, because just the thought of
- 12:44Speaker 3: like a kid driving in general on the regular roads
- 12:47Speaker 3: freaks me out.
- 12:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's a good question. We'll save that for
- 12:52Speaker 2: the next thing they come on, which usually we have
- 12:55Speaker 2: mom once a year. So two headlines here before we
- 13:00Speaker 2: get to our big finale, and we have a big
- 13:02Speaker 2: finale headline today, one that has captured Bachelornation captured really
- 13:06Speaker 2: the general public. People have been intrigued and interested in
- 13:09Speaker 2: this headline following it. And now we kind of have
- 13:12Speaker 2: a conclusion, or at least what we know of as
- 13:14Speaker 2: a conclusion to this story. And so maybe it won't
- 13:18Speaker 2: pop up again, or hopefully it doesn't pop up again.
- 13:20Speaker 2: But before we get to that headline, we do have
- 13:23Speaker 2: kind of two sol them headlines to break down. We've
- 13:27Speaker 2: talked for the last few weeks kind of followed this
- 13:30Speaker 2: Michael A and Daniel Malby story. Originally we kind of
- 13:33Speaker 2: talked about, hey, it seems like they've broken up, and
- 13:36Speaker 2: then a week later, Michael A came out and said, hey,
- 13:39Speaker 2: they efficially had broken up Daniel. Obviously, her follow up
- 13:44Speaker 2: to that was I didn't know he was going to
- 13:46Speaker 2: say this, Like I was. I was thrown off by this,
- 13:49Speaker 2: and and then she came on her podcast and talked
- 13:52Speaker 2: about about it in a little more detail. Well, here's
- 13:56Speaker 2: the headline, Bachelorations. Daniel Malby says, it's okay to cry
- 14:00Speaker 2: on your birthday and this is following to Michael a split.
- 14:03Speaker 2: This headline just feels like a you know, a stab
- 14:06Speaker 2: with the heart.
- 14:08Speaker 4: It's my birthday and I can cry if I want to.
- 14:11Speaker 2: You can cry if you want to, Ashley. You know
- 14:15Speaker 2: a lot of the breakdown of this headline is what
- 14:17Speaker 2: I just kind of talked about. I don't know if
- 14:22Speaker 2: you feel this way, but at this point, I feel
- 14:25Speaker 2: like there's more that she wants to say that she's
- 14:27Speaker 2: not saying. And it's for sure, Okay, that's.
- 14:30Speaker 3: Just put it out there, Danielle, I mean, just trying
- 14:34Speaker 3: to respect the split. Yeah, but like she's dying to
- 14:39Speaker 3: say what happened. I guess she kind of said what happened.
- 14:44Speaker 3: I think the worst part of it was that, like
- 14:47Speaker 3: it was after an egg retrieval that he broke up
- 14:50Speaker 3: with her, and she seemed blindsided because there was just
- 14:53Speaker 3: no signs leading up to it. Such an emotional experience
- 14:57Speaker 3: to be preparing for your future fertility and then for
- 15:01Speaker 3: him to do it so obviously, like it was even
- 15:03Speaker 3: more upset and given the situation that it was done in.
- 15:06Speaker 4: But we need to know.
- 15:11Speaker 3: We don't need to know, obviously, but as a Bachelor podcast,
- 15:16Speaker 3: we're curious to know what was his reasoning, Why did
- 15:21Speaker 3: he perhaps lead her on for a while, why did
- 15:24Speaker 3: he have her move to Cleveland? If there was something
- 15:30Speaker 3: I was there's like an inkling inside him. Is this
- 15:34Speaker 3: bad of me to be curious about? Uh?
- 15:36Speaker 2: No, I think I think it's exactly what happens when
- 15:38Speaker 2: you're in the public spotlight. People are curious about what
- 15:41Speaker 2: happened happened, And I think when you follow it for
- 15:44Speaker 2: a living, you're extra curious because you're you've broke this
- 15:46Speaker 2: down for three weeks, You've talked about it for three weeks,
- 15:48Speaker 2: and it just it just feels like we're never I mean,
- 15:52Speaker 2: and I'm with you, I would love to know. I
- 15:55Speaker 2: don't think we're ever going to get to know, and
- 15:57Speaker 2: I don't think we have to know, but I think
- 15:59Speaker 2: it would be It feels like from the headlines that
- 16:02Speaker 2: continue to pop up week after week of comments made
- 16:04Speaker 2: or things done or interviews done, where it's like she's
- 16:08Speaker 2: getting close to just being like, yeah, this is what happened,
- 16:10Speaker 2: like this is the whole thing, because it just feels
- 16:13Speaker 2: like it's tearing her up. Now.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Yeah all right, so this is what she said last
- 16:18Speaker 3: night and this morning, we're tough it's okay to cry
- 16:21Speaker 3: and feel things as they come up. Just a gentle reminder.
- 16:23Speaker 3: Everyone feels things in their own way and time, and
- 16:26Speaker 3: it's okay to cry on your birthday, and it's okay.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Do you remember who you are and everything that you
- 16:31Speaker 3: have to look forward to? Obviously, I think she's getting
- 16:35Speaker 3: emotional on her birthday because the birthday is like a
- 16:39Speaker 3: reminder that you are possibly not where you wanted to
- 16:44Speaker 3: be or not where you expected to be a year
- 16:49Speaker 3: after your last birthday. It's just like a timeline in
- 16:52Speaker 3: your life. I think she's I'm sure you stood thirty eight,
- 16:55Speaker 3: and you know, she's probably just like thirty eight. I
- 16:57Speaker 3: didn't expect to be freshly broken up with and having
- 17:00Speaker 3: just frozen my eggs. I was expecting more of a
- 17:05Speaker 3: who knows a family a family life at that point.
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah, it is an interesting time, worse in both
- 17:14Speaker 2: of them health, and we're both wishing both of them
- 17:19Speaker 2: that they can process through this well. It just feels
- 17:22Speaker 2: like it's maybe a little uglier than what we're getting
- 17:25Speaker 2: from the outside, but it feels like we're starting to
- 17:27Speaker 2: get a pretty good picture of what's going on. Speaking
- 17:40Speaker 2: of breakups, bat doinations Piper James and Brendan seemingly breakup
- 17:45Speaker 2: after nearly two years of dating. This is a big headline.
- 17:49Speaker 3: Well, we thought that they'd broken up a while back.
- 17:52Speaker 3: You and I made mention of it, and then we
- 17:54Speaker 3: went into their instagrams we were just chatting. I think
- 17:57Speaker 3: we cut it out of the podcast episode because we
- 18:00Speaker 3: were like, oh, we're not sure if they're together broken up.
- 18:02Speaker 3: You know, they've never announced anything, but there's just an
- 18:04Speaker 3: absence on their instagram, right, So we assumed because when
- 18:08Speaker 3: there's an absence like over six months, seems like these
- 18:12Speaker 3: people aren't together anymore. They did move in together in
- 18:16Speaker 3: his house in Massachusetts, but then she posted a TikTok
- 18:20Speaker 3: on Monday last Monday, October second, which basically confirm that
- 18:25Speaker 3: they are no longer together. So there's this trending sound.
- 18:29Speaker 3: It's two lone Stars two thousand and one hit I'm
- 18:32Speaker 3: Already There. So basically the phrase that you use the
- 18:36Speaker 3: beginning of it is when they say go to hell,
- 18:39Speaker 3: and then you're supposed to say, well, basically, I'm already
- 18:41Speaker 3: in it. So instead of saying I'm already in it,
- 18:45Speaker 3: she goes when they say to go to hell. But
- 18:47Speaker 3: I'm recovering from the whiplash from my last relationship caused me.
- 18:53Speaker 4: I'm already there. So she's saying she's.
- 18:55Speaker 3: Already in hell because her last relationship gave her a whiplash,
- 19:01Speaker 3: which really based on the story that they had in Paradise,
- 19:05Speaker 3: I wouldn't be surprised that that wasn't, you know, the
- 19:09Speaker 3: least dramatic break up when it happened.
- 19:13Speaker 4: Not to laugh at somebody's.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Breakup, of course, but like, yeah, it was a fiery relationship.
- 19:18Speaker 2: It was fiery. Yeah, we did bring that in. And
- 19:22Speaker 2: I think now we can officially confirm that we can
- 19:25Speaker 2: not expect the two of them to be taking pictures together.
- 19:28Speaker 2: And I don't think either of them were going to
- 19:29Speaker 2: be going to the beach anytime soon, So that might
- 19:33Speaker 2: just be two people that need to find love outside
- 19:37Speaker 2: this show. Well, Ashley, here's the big headline all this
- 19:42Speaker 2: story for weeks, and it has came to a conclusion.
- 19:46Speaker 2: We now know what we were always wondering, when or
- 19:50Speaker 2: if or how we know it. But the Bechler's Clayton
- 19:53Speaker 2: Eckert reveals results of paternity tests following women's lawsuit.
- 20:01Speaker 4: You do watch his reaction video.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I did watch his reaction.
- 20:08Speaker 4: And did you say, oh, this is cringe.
- 20:12Speaker 2: I mean people were loving on it, weren't they.
- 20:15Speaker 3: People were also saying good for you, but also the cringiest.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Just manner.
- 20:24Speaker 2: I mean, here's the thing. Yeah, I think it just
- 20:29Speaker 2: feels the tone felt weird the whole time.
- 20:31Speaker 3: Right, Yeah, he's like so angry and awestle, which obviously,
- 20:36Speaker 3: like I've never been in a situation, nor could I be.
- 20:39Speaker 2: Get why he's made, you know, a setup or if
- 20:44Speaker 2: this is somebody going after him. I get why he
- 20:46Speaker 2: was mad, but like for I guess for me, I
- 20:51Speaker 2: would think that like if I was in that situation,
- 20:54Speaker 2: the results, like there would be a relief and then
- 20:56Speaker 2: there would be like a song on like response. But
- 21:01Speaker 2: he did he it did feel weird.
- 21:04Speaker 4: It just felt like he was celebrating a football game victory.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, that's okay, that's a good point that it felt
- 21:10Speaker 2: like he was celebrating a victory, which in a sense
- 21:13Speaker 2: it was. I don't know, I've never been there.
- 21:15Speaker 3: This is what he said quote and I'm gonna just
- 21:17Speaker 3: do a little bit of impersonation.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Listen, it's Friday, and you know what.
- 21:22Speaker 3: We need on Friday, We need some good news.
- 21:26Speaker 4: Who's got the good news today? What's the good news? Clayton,
- 21:31Speaker 4: referring to himself in third person.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Well, test results came back early and they said there's
- 21:36Speaker 3: no fetal DNA present.
- 21:39Speaker 4: Let's go, baby. I knew that was gonna happen.
- 21:44Speaker 3: Thankfully, five months of torture can finally be put to rest.
- 21:50Speaker 2: I get to relieve. So from his side, I can
- 21:52Speaker 2: understand why he was relieved. I can understand why he
- 21:57Speaker 2: feels like he can maybe breathe again. I just don't know.
- 22:00Speaker 2: This whole thing was messy and weird from the very beginning, right,
- 22:03Speaker 2: Like there's been no process of this where it's made
- 22:07Speaker 2: a lot of sense or have got in clarity, Like
- 22:09Speaker 2: we still the five months of torture to be speaking of.
- 22:14Speaker 2: If he had no sexual intercourse and sexual relations and
- 22:18Speaker 2: there is no torture.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I was going to say, Ben, if it was just
- 22:22Speaker 3: an oral thing and there was no con there is
- 22:27Speaker 3: no spurmy in that area.
- 22:29Speaker 4: Yeah, how would you be even worried? How would you
- 22:33Speaker 4: be worried at all?
- 22:34Speaker 2: I mean maybe just the public allegations, maybe the headlines,
- 22:39Speaker 2: maybe the people making you know, jumping to conclusions. Maybe
- 22:42Speaker 2: that was destroying him. But other than that, like the
- 22:45Speaker 2: piece that you would expect him to feel just waiting
- 22:48Speaker 2: for this DNA result. And I think this is where
- 22:51Speaker 2: I get confused with the whole thing. I hope both
- 22:53Speaker 2: sides now can can move on and move forward. But
- 22:58Speaker 2: the original story, and this is where our first reactions
- 23:01Speaker 2: came into play, was that he was refusing to take
- 23:03Speaker 2: a DNA test like that was originally what was said
- 23:05Speaker 2: in the statement, and so I think if he I mean,
- 23:11Speaker 2: and this was our first response on the very first
- 23:13Speaker 2: time we broke this story, was if he is not
- 23:17Speaker 2: the father, and he's so confident, why is he refusing
- 23:19Speaker 2: to take a DNA test? Like that would close this
- 23:21Speaker 2: whole thing up, right, But the whole reason that the
- 23:24Speaker 2: lawsuit was presented was because he was refusing to come
- 23:28Speaker 2: enough to and take a test. And so maybe this
- 23:31Speaker 2: thing never had to get to where it got if
- 23:32Speaker 2: he just would have taken a test.
- 23:34Speaker 4: Immediately, Yeah, definitely probably could have.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Yeah why not why not keep it as take it
- 23:42Speaker 3: that way?
- 23:42Speaker 4: You could keep the whole situation private.
- 23:45Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, there's no there's no ground for a
- 23:48Speaker 2: lawsuit when you've proven that, hey, I am not the
- 23:51Speaker 2: father and so that's where this whole thing got weird.
- 23:53Speaker 2: And that's when you and I were like, why isn't
- 23:54Speaker 2: he taking the test? Is that feels weird? Now he
- 23:57Speaker 2: took the test and he's not the father, and I'm like, okay, great, Like,
- 23:59Speaker 2: but this could have avoided five months ago. Yeah, I mean,
- 24:02Speaker 2: I'm assuming it feels like it is, but like there
- 24:05Speaker 2: is still somebody out there who was I mean, I'm
- 24:08Speaker 2: assuming looking for the father of her baby, and that.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Is well, that is really sad and I'm really I'm curious. Again,
- 24:17Speaker 3: she said that she hadn't slept with anybody for months
- 24:19Speaker 3: besides Clayton. She's a liar obviously, so.
- 24:23Speaker 4: Who is it?
- 24:24Speaker 2: Who is it? Like, what's going on?
- 24:26Speaker 4: How she knows who it is?
- 24:28Speaker 2: We just don't know. Like this story again, this story
- 24:31Speaker 2: has so many behind the scenes. But that's the part
- 24:33Speaker 2: that's like really hard, And I think there's obviously somebody
- 24:38Speaker 2: out there that is either hurting or is looking for
- 24:41Speaker 2: attention or something. When when they came out these claims
- 24:45Speaker 2: against Clayton, and both those scenarios is not okay, Like
- 24:49Speaker 2: those both are sad because she's obviously struggling. But then yeah,
- 24:52Speaker 2: Clayton's reaction was, it's just not what I h I expected.
- 24:57Speaker 2: When I get on my Instagram that day and I
- 24:59Speaker 2: saw his vig, I was like, WHOA, Okay, well this
- 25:01Speaker 2: feels a little. This just feels like a lot if
- 25:06Speaker 2: I it feels like, yeah, it feels like you want
- 25:08Speaker 2: a football game. So wild story, probably the wildest of
- 25:12Speaker 2: the summer leading into then the non offseason. This was
- 25:16Speaker 2: probably the story that has captured more people than most,
- 25:21Speaker 2: even maybe above the Caitlin and Jason break up, even
- 25:24Speaker 2: though that was a big story too. Well, this is
- 25:26Speaker 2: our headline episode again. We have a huge week of
