- 1:06Dayna Roselli: I said 210 at the open.
- 1:07Dayna Roselli: So oh right.

- 1:38Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: You gotta do that.
- 1:40Dayna Roselli: We're on Saturday at 7:30 this weekend p.m.
- 1:44Dayna Roselli: Not in the morning.
- 1:45Sean McAllister: No, someone asked me that the other day.
- 1:47Sean McAllister: Me too.
- 1:48Sean McAllister: I was going out of the dentist, my dentist office.
- 1:50Sean McAllister: They were like, oh, okay.
- 1:51Sean McAllister: I told them we were at 7:30 on Saturday.
- 1:53Sean McAllister: And as I was walking out, the girl was like, I'll set my alarm clock and be up at 7:30 to watch.
- 1:58Sean McAllister: I was like, set your alarm.
- 2:00Sean McAllister: I was like, Do you sleep like in the evening?
- 2:02Sean McAllister: Did you take a long nap?
- 2:04Sean McAllister: No, you're on in the morning, right?
- 2:05Sean McAllister: I was like, no, it's 7:30 at night in the evening, like a good time.
- 2:09Sean McAllister: She was like, Oh, that's great.
- 2:11Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 2:11Dayna Roselli: We're gonna move around a lot.
- 2:12Dayna Roselli: So there will be a few weekends in March toward the end that I think we're on at 9 a.m.
- 2:16Sean McAllister: Correct.
- 2:17Dayna Roselli: So it'll be fresh eyes, you know, the morning crowd, the evening crowd.
- 2:20Dayna Roselli: So we love that.
- 2:21Sean McAllister: And we're gonna keep you up to date on our Vegas Revealed social media uh to let you know the exact times each week uh that our shows are gonna air.
- 2:29Sean McAllister: So you're not gonna miss out on a darn thing because we want you to be there with us.
- 2:35Dayna Roselli: We all know that you're just sitting there waiting to watch us.
- 2:40Dayna Roselli: Well, you know who's sitting there waiting is some people who thought they were going to Adele this weekend.
- 2:44Dayna Roselli: Yeah, she had to cancel like all of March, all her weekends with Adele.
- 2:48Dayna Roselli: Like this is the final leg of this stretch, and then she comes back again for shows in the summer, but uh, she's not feeling well.
- 2:54Dayna Roselli: And you know, when the throat and the voice and all that doesn't come together, a lot of times doctors require and ask that you just do like a good, good vocal rest.
- 3:04Dayna Roselli: And so the remaining five weekends of this leg are being postponed to a later date.
- 3:09Dayna Roselli: Adele wrote this on her Instagram and social media and Twitter, and she said, you know, we're already working out the details and you will be sent the information ASAP.
- 3:18Sean McAllister: Yeah, so the backstory on this is Adele kind of explains that she had gotten sick a while ago and then never fully recovered.
- 3:26Sean McAllister: She kind of pushed through, kept doing her shows, and that's just kind of led to a situation where she was never able to fully recover.
- 3:35Sean McAllister: So now her doctor is saying, you know what, Adele?
- 3:38Sean McAllister: You need to chill out, you need to take a beat, recover so that you can come back full strength.
- 3:44Sean McAllister: So that's what she's doing.
- 3:46Sean McAllister: Obviously, there are going to be some disappointed ticket holders, but um, they are looking right now to see when those dates can be rescheduled.
- 3:56Sean McAllister: And um, you know, when the doctor says it's time to tap out, you gotta tap out.
- 4:01Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:02Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 4:03Dayna Roselli: And you you need you need the full recovery.
- 4:05Dayna Roselli: You can't just do it a weekend.
- 4:06Sean McAllister: No, I've been there and it it really sucks when you just string it out and never feel completely good.
- 4:14Dayna Roselli: Well, and imagine, I mean, and you don't sing, you don't walk around.
- 4:17Sean McAllister: Well, I do, but it's terrible.
- 4:19Dayna Roselli: So imagine having to sing all that time.
- 4:21Sean McAllister: No, I know.
- 4:22Sean McAllister: And have people rely on you to put on a good show.
- 4:26Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, you know who does sing?
- 4:28Dayna Roselli: MJ and Prince, and both of them have shows at uh, well, tribute shows.
- 4:33Sean McAllister: Kind of.
- 4:34Sean McAllister: Shows in honor of them.
- 4:36Dayna Roselli: In honor of them at uh the Tropicana.
- 4:38Dayna Roselli: Oh gosh, we shouldn't laugh.
- 4:40Dayna Roselli: Don't write us and get nasty.
- 4:41Dayna Roselli: We're we're laughing at how I tried to make the connection there.
- 4:44Dayna Roselli: Um they both had shows, MJ Live and Purple Rain.
- 4:48Dayna Roselli: Uh both have shows at the Tropicana, which she we told you is closing in April.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 4:52Dayna Roselli: And so now we found out that they have uh places to go, which I'm happy to hear about.
- 4:57Dayna Roselli: These uh releases literally just came in as we were about to record the podcast.
- 5:03Dayna Roselli: So let's read through them.
- 5:05Dayna Roselli: Um it looks like Purple Rain, the Prince tribute show starring uh Jason Tenner.
- 5:10Dayna Roselli: He's excellent.
- 5:11Dayna Roselli: He's great, it's an excellent show.
- 5:13Sean McAllister: And he's been doing this for a while.
- 5:15Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 5:16Sean McAllister: The show's been going on for quite some time and popular.
- 5:20Dayna Roselli: Yeah, yeah, he's he's been doing it a long time, like you said, and always excellent.
- 5:23Dayna Roselli: They announced their new residency at the V Theater inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
- 5:29Dayna Roselli: So FYI.
- 5:30Dayna Roselli: They are going to debut on Tuesday, March 19th.
- 5:34Dayna Roselli: And it looks like it will be at 8:30 p.m.
- 5:38Dayna Roselli: will be their headlining show.
- 5:39Dayna Roselli: So congratulations to them on the move.
- 5:42Dayna Roselli: I mean, Vegas wouldn't be Vegas without the Purple Rain show.
- 5:45Sean McAllister: Yeah, so as of March 19th, Purple Rain over at V Theater inside the Miracle Miles shops.
- 5:51Sean McAllister: And then MJ Live is another show that's been going on for quite some time as well.
- 5:58Sean McAllister: That's also being uh relocated because of the closure of uh the trop in a couple months.
- 6:06Sean McAllister: Um, MJ Live is going to have a new home at Sahara, Las Vegas for a limited engagement starting March 18th and continuing through July 28th.
- 6:17Sean McAllister: And those shows are going to be uh 7 30 p.m.
- 6:21Dayna Roselli: Awesome.
- 6:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 6:22Dayna Roselli: So I'm glad they both found a new home for now.
- 6:24Dayna Roselli: And it looks like MJ Live will be there till July, and then we'll see where they go after that.
- 6:28Dayna Roselli: But I'm sure they'll find a spot.
- 6:29Sean McAllister: Yeah, I like hearing that um there's new homes for these shows and they're not just being uh put out.
- 6:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think good spots for them too, good locations.
- 6:38Sean McAllister: They really are, yeah.
- 6:40Dayna Roselli: Hey, uh Kelly and Mark, live with Kelly and Mark, uh, took place and set up shop over at the Fountain Blue.
- 6:46Dayna Roselli: You and I went for one of the tapings.
- 6:48Dayna Roselli: They they had to tape them, obviously, because they're on the road.
- 6:50Dayna Roselli: The show's usually live in New York City, but uh we had a blast.
- 6:54Dayna Roselli: We went to taping number one on Monday morning, which aired on Tuesday, and it was great.
- 7:02Sean McAllister: It was so fun.
- 7:03Sean McAllister: The energy inside of the Blue Live Theater over there at Fountain Blue.
- 7:08Sean McAllister: It was people were ready to have a good time.
- 7:11Sean McAllister: It was what 9:30, 10 o'clock in the morning for the taping, and people were like, there was a dance contest before the show.
- 7:19Sean McAllister: People were up and and ready.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 7:22Dayna Roselli: And it was really cool for Kelly and Mark, I think, to like come out on stage that was beautifully set up with a Vegas look and look out and see, you know, a full theater at Blue Guys.
- 7:35Dayna Roselli: You know, the balconies were full, cheering them on.
- 7:38Dayna Roselli: What a fun time.
- 7:39Dayna Roselli: It was it was Mark's first remote.
- 7:42Dayna Roselli: You know, Mark is married to Kelly Rippa, Mark Insuellos, excellent actor.
- 7:46Dayna Roselli: I've watched him in Riverdale.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: He's got a new show I saw coming out on HBO Max, so good for him.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: Um, and now, you know, after going through so many hosts since Regis left the show and later passed, uh Kelly has now, I guess, just agreed and decided I'm gonna do the show with Mark, and I think it works really well.
- 8:04Sean McAllister: They are so cute together.
- 8:06Dayna Roselli: They really are.
- 8:07Sean McAllister: As a couple and as co-hosts.
- 8:09Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 8:10Dayna Roselli: I mean, charming to watch, really.
- 8:13Dayna Roselli: It just like literally like jealousy oozes because you're like, this is perfection.
- 8:17Dayna Roselli: Obviously, we never know what happens behind the scene, nothing's perfect, and they talk about that all the time, you know.
- 8:22Dayna Roselli: Uh, but yeah, what a great and they just we saw them though, like when they were off camera, and we we noticed like they really gel really well.
- 8:31Dayna Roselli: Nobody's trying to take over anyone's job.
- 8:33Dayna Roselli: They're they're definitely a team.
- 8:35Sean McAllister: Oh, they are, and you know, when they would be standing there uh in a commercial break waiting to, you know, for the show to restart again, you know, he would have his hand on the on the small of her back, and it was just super cute.
- 8:49Sean McAllister: And by the way, both of them are really funny.
- 8:51Sean McAllister: Yeah, I wasn't expecting to laugh as much as we did.
- 8:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, they are funny, really, and and I like that Mark's a little shy.
- 8:58Dayna Roselli: He is he's a little shy, and Kelly's always been that way.
- 9:01Dayna Roselli: She's quick too, you know, very quick witted.
- 9:04Dayna Roselli: Uh, and I love that they engage with the audience.
- 9:07Dayna Roselli: I love that they still handwrite a lot of the cue cards.
- 9:10Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 9:11Dayna Roselli: Uh Michael Gellman is the executive producer.
- 9:13Dayna Roselli: He has been there forever.
- 9:14Dayna Roselli: In fact, he's a Guinness world recorder.
- 9:17Dayna Roselli: World record breaker.
- 9:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I'm trying to get that for the longest morning show uh producer in the history of TV, which is amazing.
- 9:26Sean McAllister: Well, and we were looking that up, Dana, and uh you were pulling up the information, and this is like his one and only professional job.
- 9:36Sean McAllister: Like he started with the show super young and he's stayed with it all these years.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 9:42Dayna Roselli: I mean, like the name of the show has changed, and it went from like local in New York City to you know syndicated and everything.
- 9:50Dayna Roselli: So it a lot of changes, but the whole you're right, the whole time, you know, Regis and Gellman.
- 9:57Dayna Roselli: Remember, Regis always used to yell, Gelman.
- 10:00Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 10:00Dayna Roselli: And still, you know, it was fun to see.
- 10:02Dayna Roselli: I'm going off on a million different tents.
- 10:03Dayna Roselli: It was fun to see Kelly, like you said, kind of um interact with Gelman.
- 10:06Dayna Roselli: Whenever she forgot her train of thought, she'd be like, Gelman, what's the name of that?
- 10:10Dayna Roselli: And that's always what it's been like.
- 10:11Dayna Roselli: Gelman's always been a part of the show.
- 10:13Dayna Roselli: So even though Michael Gelman is the executive producer, people know him that watch the show.
- 10:17Sean McAllister: They do.
- 10:18Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 10:18Sean McAllister: They do.
- 10:19Dayna Roselli: I love what he's developed.
- 10:20Dayna Roselli: Um, and we said, you know what, let's talk to him.
- 10:22Dayna Roselli: Um, we wanted to chat with him about because when we walked into the Blue Live Theater, we thought, wow, this set is amazing.
- 10:29Sean McAllister: I mean, they turned that stage into they turned it into a TV studio, that theater.
- 10:36Sean McAllister: And the set that they built was very, it felt like Fountain Blue.
- 10:42Dayna Roselli: It was it was great.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: It was beautiful.
- 10:44Dayna Roselli: I thought, wow, just for four shows, but they went all out.
- 10:48Dayna Roselli: Sure did.
- 10:48Dayna Roselli: And so we pulled Michael Gelman aside.
- 10:50Dayna Roselli: He was willing to talk to us and had a nice chat with him just about bringing the show to Vegas and you know, what kind of work that takes.
- 10:58Dayna Roselli: Also, just chatting with him a little bit about what he likes about Vegas and why they even like taking the show there.
- 11:03Sean McAllister: What does it take to put on a production of this caliber, uh, essentially on the other side of the country?
- 11:09SPEAKER_02: You know, it's nerve-wracking because whatever we do on a daily basis with a live show uh is difficult.
- 11:16SPEAKER_02: But when you bring it to a new location and a huge location, and you try to set up uh, you know, uh theater into a studio in a couple of days, there's just so many things that can go wrong.
- 11:28SPEAKER_02: So you just try to dot your I's and cross your T's and hope that nothing goes wrong.
- 11:33Sean McAllister: What is your thought process in putting these shows together and making sure that you capture the Vegas spirit?
- 11:40SPEAKER_02: You know, we want to have a balance of, you know, the kind of the big acts along with celebrities and just keeping it very kind of homey with uh Kelly and Mark.
- 11:50SPEAKER_02: And I think we've done a good job.
- 11:51SPEAKER_02: I mean the bookings are tremendous.
- 11:53SPEAKER_02: Uh we also try to get out there so we bring kind of all those other things in.
- 11:59SPEAKER_02: So, you know, we're we're at the uh sphere, we're, you know, doing tours of hotels, we're at UFC, we have all stuff, all kinds of stuff going on.
- 12:08SPEAKER_02: And this is Mark's uh first remote show, right?
- 12:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, he's never done a remote.
- 12:14SPEAKER_02: He's come on remotes as a family member, but he's never been uh the host, so it's very exciting for him.
- 12:20Dayna Roselli: I'm just gonna ask, what's your take on Vegas?
- 12:23Dayna Roselli: What do you think when you visit?
- 12:24SPEAKER_02: Because I know you're a New York City guy, so I'm a New York City guy, but I love Vegas.
- 12:29SPEAKER_02: I mean, uh the food, and I'm a foodie, and the restaurants in this hotel and all over the place are so good.
- 12:35SPEAKER_02: So I just the food is great.
- 12:37SPEAKER_02: And I also uh love a show, you know, and I love a spectacular, and there's nothing as spectacular as some of these Vegas shows.
- 12:44SPEAKER_02: So I'm having a good time.
- 12:46SPEAKER_02: You know, my wife Lori came uh with me.
- 12:48SPEAKER_02: My daughter flew in from LA, she's had uh some time here with me.
- 12:52SPEAKER_02: So in between my working, we've been getting out and having a good time.
- 12:55Sean McAllister: This isn't gonna be the only time that we see Kelly and Mark on Las Vegas soil, is it?
- 13:00SPEAKER_02: Are you gonna be back?
- 13:01SPEAKER_02: Well, I just heard today on uh the show was announced we have a residency here at the Blue Live Theater.
- 13:08SPEAKER_02: Start that rumor, maybe it'll come true.
- 13:10SPEAKER_02: Uh yeah, we'll help spread it.
- 13:12SPEAKER_02: Uh no, we hope to be back, and uh it's it's always fun, and there's so much talent.
- 13:17SPEAKER_02: It's such a mech of chaubiz and entertainment that we love coming here.
- 13:21SPEAKER_02: So hopefully we'll be back soon.
- 13:23SPEAKER_02: And next up, you'll you'll be on the road again in LA uh for your post-Oscar show.
- 13:28SPEAKER_02: Yeah, the Oscars is another huge show, and just the timing worked out that they were like, you know, one or two weeks away.
- 13:35SPEAKER_02: But uh it's a little challenging, but it's it's gonna be great.
- 13:38SPEAKER_02: It's gonna be big.
- 13:39SPEAKER_02: We have, you know, like thousands of people sh ready to show up out there, and hopefully we'll get some big Oscar winners, but on the right carpet, we'll be backstage.
- 13:48SPEAKER_02: It's always an exciting show.
- 13:50Sean McAllister: Gellman is great, and I feel like he looks better now than he looks younger now than he ever has in at any other point in his career, which is astonishing.
- 14:00Dayna Roselli: Literally ages backwards, right?
- 14:02Sean McAllister: Man.
- 14:02Dayna Roselli: Um, and I think, you know, we you and I have talked about this before, but I did have the opportunity to go interview Michael Gelman and Regis and Kelly when I worked for CBS in Las Vegas, because uh, you know, uh Regis and Kelly was on the show when Regis was retiring and they sent me for the network.
- 14:19Dayna Roselli: And really one of the most memorable things I've ever done, just to see the behind the scenes, get to see sit with Regis in his office, get to meet Gellman, see how him and him read uh Gellman and Regis, you know, interact um together, even as friends.
- 14:33Dayna Roselli: And I notice it's just they're such a camaraderie.
- 14:36Dayna Roselli: They get each other, and I think that's just why the show has always worked.
- 14:39Dayna Roselli: And Kelly, you know, when she came in, just really embraced all that and has taken what I think Michael Gellman and Regis started and has moved it and kept it the same style.
- 14:53Sean McAllister: Yeah, kept that spirit alive for sure.
- 14:55Sean McAllister: Uh that's a really cool experience that that you were able to have to go and do that.
- 15:00Dayna Roselli: It really was.
- 15:00Sean McAllister: I I enjoyed it so much.
- 15:02Sean McAllister: Something I'll always remember.
- 15:03Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 15:03Sean McAllister: And on the show that uh we attended, Cheryl Lee Ralph, uh, of course, she's a award winner, star of stage, screen.
- 15:12Sean McAllister: Uh, she was the guest on the show and could not have been a better spokesperson for the Las Vegas experience.
- 15:20Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 15:21Dayna Roselli: She was talking about the fountain blue and how wonderful it was.
- 15:24Dayna Roselli: She loved it, staying there and the sphere.
- 15:27Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 15:28Dayna Roselli: She loved the sphere and all the things Las Vegas, right?
- 15:31Sean McAllister: So she was fun to see also uh the show Rouge, which is over at the Strat.
- 15:37Sean McAllister: Um, they had their hand balancing act.
- 15:40Sean McAllister: It's three brothers who do this hand balancing act, and that was nerve-wracking.
- 15:45Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 15:46Sean McAllister: Phenomenal.
- 15:47Sean McAllister: They did a great job, but it was nerve-wracking because these are not small guys, they're like big muscle guys, and they're balancing on each other's heads and like three tall.
- 16:00Sean McAllister: And I'm like, man, alive, did they do a good job?
- 16:03Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I always feel like, I mean, that's part of it, right?
- 16:06Dayna Roselli: Because it's the wow factor, but it does put you on the edge of your seat.
- 16:10Sean McAllister: It does.
- 16:10Dayna Roselli: I'm looking at that guy's neck, going, is that neck gonna break right in half?
- 16:14Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, his hand is on the head.
- 16:16Dayna Roselli: But yeah, Rouge is still over at the Strat.
- 16:18Dayna Roselli: And you know, they call it's like the sexiest show in Vegas, is one of the, you know, kind of slogans that people have said and and you know, that they've gotten through the years that they've been here.
- 16:28Dayna Roselli: And if you want to go see it, again, it's at the strat.
- 16:31Dayna Roselli: And, you know, we recommend it.
- 16:32Dayna Roselli: It's it's very entertaining.
- 16:34Sean McAllister: It is.
- 16:34Sean McAllister: That was a good show.
- 16:35Sean McAllister: So yeah, Kelly and Mark, their shows uh set here in Vegas, wrapped up this past week.
- 16:42Sean McAllister: Um but if you want to check them out, I'm sure you could Google some clips online.
- 16:47Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I think they probably do put the shows online so you can watch it there.
- 16:51Sean McAllister: By the way, Vegas Revealed is presented by Level Up Law.
- 16:55Dayna Roselli: If you've experienced a slip and fall or were injured in a place of business or on a construction site, call Level Up Law at 855 Level Up.

- 17:16Dayna Roselli: You can also go to their website at leveluplaw.com to learn more.
- 17:22Sean McAllister: Something else we did this past week is go see uh Jersey Boys over at the Orleans.
- 17:28Sean McAllister: The Orleans is down Flamingo or Trop?
- 17:32Sean McAllister: Trop.
- 17:33Sean McAllister: I always get uh get that confused.
- 17:35Sean McAllister: Uh down Tropicana Avenue on the west side of the Las Vegas Strip.
- 17:40Sean McAllister: Uh been there forever, like New Orleans-themed uh hotel casino, and Jersey Boys is the first residency show that they have staged over in the showroom at the Orleans.
- 17:53Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so we were excited to get there and hit the red carpet, meet the cast, meet the, you know, the folks are that are in charge of of putting on the show and talk to them a little bit about, you know, why they think this is gonna work at the Orleans, how you know Jersey Boys the musical has really been missed here in Las Vegas.
- 18:10Dayna Roselli: So first we talked to John Bentham, he's the executive producer, and had a nice chat about what this show is gonna bring to Las Vegas.
- 18:18SPEAKER_05: Man, this has been a dream come true.
- 18:19SPEAKER_05: We've been waiting for a very long time to get this back on the stage, and I'm so proud of this cast and everybody that's been a part of it because we've actually brought back the Broadway show, Jersey Boys, to Las Vegas.
- 18:30SPEAKER_05: And it's the first time that it's been in Vegas.
- 18:32SPEAKER_05: We've had a Vegas run of Jersey Boys before, but it's been the shortened version.
- 18:36SPEAKER_05: So this is the first time that people can really enjoy the full Broadway version here in Las Vegas.
- 18:41SPEAKER_05: I didn't realize that okay, it's gonna be a little longer, right?
- 18:43SPEAKER_05: Yep, it's a little bit longer, but we've got the full band.
- 18:46SPEAKER_05: So in the last 10 years, you know, things have kind of condensed.
- 18:49SPEAKER_05: So Jersey Boys was this big brand job.
- 18:52SPEAKER_05: And just over time it's kind of shortened and it's kind of gone down.
- 18:55SPEAKER_05: So the band went from 10 to 6, the cast went from 17 to 14, we've run it all back.
- 19:00SPEAKER_05: So we've got a huge cast, we've got a huge band, and the sound and and the uh excitement on the stage has never been better.
- 19:06SPEAKER_03: I feel like people have been asking, like really missing it.
- 19:08SPEAKER_03: I mean, do you feel like it's a show that people have really wanted back as well?
- 19:12SPEAKER_05: You know, it's it's funny.
- 19:13SPEAKER_05: We've only been here for a couple of weeks, and already we've seen people who've seen the show 104 times, 90 times, 80 times.
- 19:20SPEAKER_05: It's amazing how many people have seen the show multiple times and they come back because they get something new out of it, or the music is exciting and exhilarating every time they see it.
- 19:27SPEAKER_05: So, yeah, I mean, I think there's a couple of things.
- 19:29SPEAKER_05: You know, the the the the message of the show is real powerful, and the music is just unbelievable.
- 19:35SPEAKER_05: It's just such a fun big show for Vegas.
- 19:38SPEAKER_05: You know, when people come to Vegas, they want to kind of escape, they want to see something fresh, new.
- 19:43SPEAKER_05: Jersey Boys always seems to be that for people.
- 19:45SPEAKER_03: And what about uh being at the Orleans?
- 19:47SPEAKER_03: This is kind of like the first big residency for the Orleans.
- 19:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, this is really cool.
- 19:51SPEAKER_03: I mean, you think this is gonna be a good fit?
- 19:53SPEAKER_05: Yeah, we're super excited about the the residency here at the Orleans.
- 19:56SPEAKER_05: It's the first one that they've ever had, and it's a perfect theater for this show.
- 20:00SPEAKER_05: You know, Jersey Boys is such a big show, and we're in at like 800 seats.
- 20:04SPEAKER_05: So there's not a bad seat in the house, it's very intimate feeling, and it's just a lot of fun.
- 20:08Sean McAllister: And there on the red carpet, we also uh talked to the Jersey Boys cast.
- 20:13Sean McAllister: Of course, the show is about Frankie Valley and the four seasons, but there were five seasons there standing in front of us because the the role of uh Frankie Valley is split between uh two different actors.
- 20:28Sean McAllister: So we spoke with all of them about what it's like to have this show here in Las Vegas.
- 20:33Sean McAllister: Some are new to the show, some are veteran Jersey boys.
- 20:36Sean McAllister: So uh you're gonna hear from Joey Barrero, Tyler Matthew Burke, Jonathan Cable, Jared Chinook, and Kit Treese about their experience being a part of this cast.
- 20:48SPEAKER_03: You guys have a lot of shows, so it's important to have multiple Frankies, right?
- 20:51SPEAKER_03: So tell us a little bit about that process.
- 20:53SPEAKER_00: Uh Jared and I split the role because it's no dry and vegetables, and so we, you know, it's great to have each other and we feed off each other.
- 21:01SPEAKER_00: It's been a great time.
- 21:02SPEAKER_03: It's a lot of work putting in a show every day, six days a week, and then what you're doing, coming in and we do memes, months, memes, and months, months, money, mm-hmm.
- 21:18SPEAKER_01: It's a great mix of people that have done this number for one people that have done.
- 21:23SPEAKER_01: It's like a combined scope of melanin's every time we're making a memory, something's really money, money.
- 21:32SPEAKER_03: I mean, look at the money, look at the mum.
- 21:38SPEAKER_06: We're gonna make a mum and we're gonna have some and make sure we're taking a mummy.
- 22:01SPEAKER_06: I'm the cruise director.
- 22:02SPEAKER_06: Let's get it straight.
- 22:03SPEAKER_06: I want to make sure everyone's having fun.
- 22:06Sean McAllister: You know what, Dana?
- 22:08Sean McAllister: I was actually curious.
- 22:09Sean McAllister: I was like, wait a second, was he really like a cruise director in real life and just bringing that experience or just using that analogy for what he's doing for the cast?
- 22:19Dayna Roselli: I think an analogy.
- 22:20Dayna Roselli: I love that though.
- 22:21Dayna Roselli: Like, I'm not the one who instigates, I'm just the cruise director.
- 22:24Dayna Roselli: I want to make sure all the activities are in order and that we have fun.
- 22:27Dayna Roselli: But I love that they're really enjoying Vegas so much, you know?
- 22:30Dayna Roselli: Young guys, you know, here working hard, doing, you know, working six nights a week.
- 22:35Dayna Roselli: And they love, you know, embracing everything that's Las Vegas.
- 22:40Dayna Roselli: It was fun to talk to them.
- 22:41Dayna Roselli: And the show was great.
- 22:42Dayna Roselli: We loved it.
- 22:43Dayna Roselli: And, you know, it didn't feel too long.
- 22:45Dayna Roselli: There's an intermission, um, just like there was at the show at Paris and Palazzo.
- 22:51Dayna Roselli: But after the intermission, it's a little bit longer.
- 22:54Dayna Roselli: I think the show total when I was talking to one of the choreographers was like 220.
- 22:58Sean McAllister: Okay, because yeah, they are staging the full uh Broadway production.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: Over the years, there have been different versions of the show where it's been cut down a little bit for timing.
- 23:09Sean McAllister: Um, but this is the full Broadway uh production of Jersey Boys, which is fantastic.
- 23:15Sean McAllister: And one of the things that I uh absolutely loved is looking around uh in the audience while they were doing these classic four seasons uh songs that just like get you bopping and moving, but you could see the people who are of the generation of this music, and they just had the biggest smiles on their faces.
- 23:36Sean McAllister: They were singing along, they were dancing in their chairs.
- 23:39Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 23:40Sean McAllister: I just thought that was such a cool thing.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: Right.
- 23:42Dayna Roselli: It's and then you were saying it's like the Backstreet Boys for a different generation.
- 23:46Dayna Roselli: Backstreet boys, yeah, different generation, right?
- 23:48Dayna Roselli: But you know every song, you know, you just do.
- 23:51Dayna Roselli: It's a great show.
- 23:52Dayna Roselli: If you get a chance, go see it.
- 23:53Dayna Roselli: Um, and keep that 3:30 matinee on Saturdays in mind if you're more of a daytime show person.
- 23:59Sean McAllister: That is good.
- 24:00Sean McAllister: I'm gonna keep that in mind.
- 24:01Sean McAllister: By the way, the show is dark on Tuesdays.
- 24:04Sean McAllister: All right, let's do some tips.
- 24:10Sean McAllister: Dana, I feel like this first tip is perfect for the Golden Girls.
- 24:14Sean McAllister: You know how they always sat at their kitchen table going over, having laughs and tears and hugs over cheesecake.
- 24:24Dayna Roselli: Yes.
- 24:25Sean McAllister: Well, we have some darn good cheesecake in Las Vegas now, courtesy of Junior's, the iconic restaurant from Brooklyn.
- 24:33Dayna Roselli: Yeah, right out of New York.
- 24:35Dayna Roselli: We now have one on the strip.
- 24:36Dayna Roselli: It's exciting over at Resorts World.
- 24:39Dayna Roselli: This Junior's, though, um uh uh is over the top.
- 24:43Dayna Roselli: It's a 300-seat venue.
- 24:45Dayna Roselli: It has full service breakfast, lunch, dinner, a late night menu, a bar, and then the legendary cheesecake offering.
- 24:53Dayna Roselli: So it's got everything all in one.
- 24:55Dayna Roselli: This is the first location on the West Coast, so that's pretty cool.
- 24:58Sean McAllister: And Dana, we did have uh a little cheesecake delivered to us.
- 25:04Sean McAllister: And I sat down and I had that and I savored, I was taking the smallest bites possible because I wanted it to last as long as it could.
- 25:14Sean McAllister: Right.
- 25:15Sean McAllister: And it's so good.
- 25:16Dayna Roselli: Oh, it really, you know, and we're going so we're this is this podcast we're recording right before we go over to an event at Resorts World for the juniors grand opening and ribbon cutting.
- 25:26Dayna Roselli: You'll see that in our TV show and on our social media as well.
- 25:30Dayna Roselli: But Sean, and when I was reading, getting ready to head out the door here, I thought, wow, they have like two dozen flavors.
- 25:38Sean McAllister: Yeah.
- 25:38Dayna Roselli: The New York Plain to the ever-popular strawberry, chocolate, mousse, and red velvet with new favorites such as pumpkin, key lime, and Oreo.
- 25:47Dayna Roselli: I love Oreo cheesecakes.
- 25:49Dayna Roselli: I like key lime.
- 25:50Dayna Roselli: Yeah, do you?
- 25:50Dayna Roselli: You're a key lime.
- 25:52Dayna Roselli: You and my dad.
- 25:53Dayna Roselli: I'm not a key lime person.
- 25:54Dayna Roselli: Yeah, you, my dad, my mom like key lime too.
- 25:56Dayna Roselli: Key lime is good.
- 25:57Dayna Roselli: I like how tart it is.
- 25:59Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that that is good too.
- 26:00Dayna Roselli: I like a good tart.
- 26:01Dayna Roselli: But yeah, I'm excited.
- 26:02Dayna Roselli: They have curated cocktail program, the whole nine.
- 26:05Dayna Roselli: So this is gonna be great.
- 26:06Dayna Roselli: They even have like steak burgers, deli sandwiches.
- 26:10Dayna Roselli: I'm interested to see.
- 26:11Dayna Roselli: I think this is gonna be a great addition to Resorts World because I love when hotel casinos have top-of-the-line world-class restaurants and they have, you know, like middle of the road, more casual restaurants that are just as good.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: Exactly.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: You know, their offerings are just as good, but it still feels more casual in case you're not, you know, you're not wanting to hit Wally's that night.
- 26:34Sean McAllister: Right.
- 26:34Sean McAllister: Yep.
- 26:35Sean McAllister: So it's great to have uh juniors opening their first West Coast location inside Resorts World, just steps off of the casino floor.
- 26:45Sean McAllister: Um, so if you're over there at Resorts World and you have a hanker in for a cheesecake or whatever, really anything off of their vast menu, yeah.
- 26:56Sean McAllister: Stop in there.
- 26:58Dayna Roselli: Um, hey, listen, we uh mentioned at the top of the show, pool season is here in Las Vegas.
- 27:03Dayna Roselli: There's usually, we just have like an opening date when it's usually when the weather starts to cooperate.
- 27:07Dayna Roselli: So there'll be days where it may not feel like pool season, but then there'll be another day where it does.
- 27:13Sean McAllister: It's true.
- 27:14Sean McAllister: This is that time of year that's like a boomerang.
- 27:17Dayna Roselli: Something came across our desk today, and I thought we have to share this.
- 27:20Dayna Roselli: This is a great tip.
- 27:21Dayna Roselli: And it came out from Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
- 27:23Sean McAllister: Yeah, and uh, they're kind of doing a new concept, uh, which will be known as the pool at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
- 27:32Sean McAllister: It'll be upscale, modern, tropical, kind of think of an oasis.
- 27:38Sean McAllister: And this is for hotel guests, along with people who are not staying at the property.
- 27:43Sean McAllister: Um, this deal starts on Saturday, March 16th at their pool, which is located on the second level near the Ruby Tower entrance.
- 27:53Sean McAllister: There are going to be cabanas, food and beverage service, poolside services from the spa, and a serene beach-like atmosphere, according to Virgin.
- 28:03Dayna Roselli: I know, and you and I, we've um walked by the pool many times, and I uh um and I know there's different pools, and then we were out somewhere once, and I think we were looking at that one.
- 28:12Dayna Roselli: We were at the old Money Baby.
- 28:14Dayna Roselli: Remember we went out to the patio?
- 28:16Dayna Roselli: I think it's that pool.
- 28:17Dayna Roselli: Don't quote me on that, but anyway, they have several different pools and they do have kind of that beach tropical vibe.
- 28:22Dayna Roselli: So I love it.
- 28:24Dayna Roselli: Um, listen, here's the deal: the pool is for non-guests and locals, like Sean mentioned, um, with the purchase of a$25 day pass.
- 28:34Dayna Roselli: So not bad, right?
- 28:35Dayna Roselli: Cabanas will be available to hotel guests for$100 Sunday through Friday and$150 on Saturday.
- 28:42Dayna Roselli: But locals are going to receive an exclusive offer of a$50 cabana reservation.
- 28:47Dayna Roselli: Wow.
- 28:48Dayna Roselli: Sunday through Friday.
- 28:50Dayna Roselli: So it does not count Saturdays with a Nevada ID.
- 28:53Dayna Roselli: A cabana reservation includes four day passes.
- 28:57Sean McAllister: Four passes?
- 28:58Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so you can split it, you know, and then it's so it's great.
- 29:02Dayna Roselli: Um, and people always ask us, where can locals go?
- 29:05Dayna Roselli: Are there any pools on this, you know, on the strip or off the strip or you know, in in Las Vegas hotel pools where locals can go?
- 29:12Dayna Roselli: And now Virgin is is saying, hey, come come here, join us.
- 29:17Dayna Roselli: Um, so I love this uh idea.
- 29:21Dayna Roselli: The pool is open daily from 9:30 a.m.
- 29:24Dayna Roselli: to close.
- 29:25Dayna Roselli: They're gonna have, like you mentioned, a food and beverage menu.
- 29:28Dayna Roselli: They've got all the favorites there, and they've even got bottle service.
- 29:31Dayna Roselli: I mean, really anything you want.
- 29:33Dayna Roselli: So you can either go big or you can go small if you just want to go chill with a bottle of water and lay out.
- 29:40Sean McAllister: Well, let me tell you, I think it is so smart of them to offer a deal for a pool deal for locals because there's so many times when you might have a group of people in town and you're like, oh, I want to go to a resort pool, whatever.
- 29:56Sean McAllister: But you don't want to do like the day club thing.
- 29:59Sean McAllister: You want to actually go to a pool where you can just kind of relax, hang out, and you can't get in to a lot of pools unless you are a guest of that resort.
- 30:09Sean McAllister: So this is fantastic.
- 30:10Sean McAllister: The price is right for a cabana, a$50 cabana reservation, get four people in.
- 30:17Sean McAllister: Smart move Virgin hotels.
- 30:19Dayna Roselli: Well, and a lot of people always say, like sometimes they go into Virgin and it feels a little empty.
- 30:23Dayna Roselli: But I I've heard through the grapevine that they actually uh really fill up when it comes to occupancy, but a lot of people from there go to conventions.
- 30:32Dayna Roselli: And so it may seem like during the day that it's not that busy.
- 30:36Dayna Roselli: And I think what a great idea then fill the hotel pools while people are at conventions and stuff with locals and non-hotel guests and hotel guests, you know, and have a great, a great vibe.
- 30:47Dayna Roselli: And then they're what, you know, they're getting food orders and drink orders and all that.
- 30:50Dayna Roselli: You might as well, it's a just a great idea.
- 30:52Dayna Roselli: I love it.
- 30:53Dayna Roselli: Hey, they're also going to announce an adults uh only pool concept, apparently, this season, which will be announced later this spring.
- 31:01Dayna Roselli: So stay tuned for that.
- 31:02Dayna Roselli: They put that at the end of the release.
- 31:04Dayna Roselli: I like that too.
- 31:05Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 31:05Sean McAllister: Well done.
- 31:06Dayna Roselli: All right.
- 31:07Dayna Roselli: Well, we've got to go eat juniors cheesecake.
- 31:08Dayna Roselli: Um, a little reminder um you will find juniors right in the Vegas Near Me app because they have everything fun to do or see listed in that app.
- 31:17Dayna Roselli: We recommend it.
- 31:18Dayna Roselli: It is free.

- 31:22Dayna Roselli: It's on Google and Apple.
- 31:24Dayna Roselli: Download Vegas Near Me if you're gonna visit Vegas or you live here.
