2:43
Speaker 6: what is happening in Nigeria as literally they're looking for
2:47
Speaker 6: to be adding the Chinese language as part of their
2:50
Speaker 6: senior Second America ricular. Tribunis has a dove deeper into that.
2:56
Speaker 6: I'm also talking about what they're doing with signing a
3:00
Speaker 6: deal with the UK to receive the deported aside, because
3:03
Speaker 6: this is after we can see Rwanda actually has taken
3:07
Speaker 6: the UK to court demanding one twenty five million dollars
3:12
Speaker 6: compensation after the UK abroptly consoled that twenty two my
3:16
Speaker 6: granted relocation deal. Much more coming from Nigeria. There also
3:21
Speaker 6: said another deal still to the UK and that this
3:24
Speaker 6: is I take one billion literally export on export, a
3:29
Speaker 6: deal to fund the modernizing of two of the Nigerian
3:33
Speaker 6: main seaports and more coming also right here from the
3:36
Speaker 6: two five four more coming from Gamble. We can see
3:39
Speaker 6: the ex president has been has been investigated for of
3:43
Speaker 6: course is wealth and misspending of course or stealing the
3:48
Speaker 6: public funds that is about forty seven big don ken
3:52
Speaker 6: and shillings and much more. We're gonna be discussing about Zambia,
3:55
Speaker 6: which has accepted a loan from the World Bank a
3:58
Speaker 6: few weeks after we saw the did refuse or reject
4:01
Speaker 6: a deal that the US was offering some funds that
4:05
Speaker 6: was being allocated that was supposed to cover so many things,
4:08
Speaker 6: including health and so much. But we're gonna start with
4:11
Speaker 6: something very interesting before we get into that. A video
4:14
Speaker 6: that is going viral currently from Tanzania, and this is
4:18
Speaker 6: a young man who is talking about how he's been
4:21
Speaker 6: living is actually born and raised in Tanzania and currently
4:24
Speaker 6: the government because this is something that has been happening
4:27
Speaker 6: in Versa Miyasulu who has been stealing just like brutal,
4:31
Speaker 6: just like the res of the puppets, taking lands from
4:34
Speaker 6: people who have been long existing in them, and even
4:37
Speaker 6: to the point of scrapping the title dead ownership that
4:39
Speaker 6: you have, claiming that that is a frequ one and
4:42
Speaker 6: you need to re actually knew it. So there's a
4:44
Speaker 6: group of the Kikuyu people. I don't know that part
4:47
Speaker 6: of vision. Of course, I'm going to share if I
4:49
Speaker 6: found any if I find any article just as at continue.
4:53
Speaker 6: There's a group of the Equa people that went to
4:56
Speaker 6: Tanzania that is back during the colonization in our Kenya,
5:01
Speaker 6: and the group of people literally cycled in terms, and
5:03
Speaker 6: so the young man is not among the group of
5:05
Speaker 6: the generation of those group of q people. And he
5:09
Speaker 6: said there's a bond born and raised in Tanzania, but
5:12
Speaker 6: apparently right now is being told it hasn't belonged there.
5:16
Speaker 6: And the video is going viral because it reflects back
5:19
Speaker 6: here in Kenya, and not just that, but also I
5:23
Speaker 6: feel like, for me, I'm looking at it in the
5:25
Speaker 6: problem we have when it comes to other people settling
5:28
Speaker 6: in other African countries. Why is it always our problem?
5:32
Speaker 6: The fact that we've accepted this white man's rule to
5:34
Speaker 6: keep on dictating our daily lives. It's super crazy, but
5:38
Speaker 6: I don't a waste mush time. I'm gonna dwell into
5:40
Speaker 6: it's literally so I'm gonna just start the video itself.
5:43
Speaker 6: But before we get into that kind of get yourself.

7:09
Speaker 6: you email us at fifteen at gmail dot com. But
7:13
Speaker 6: as it gets straight to it, sure this video, I'm
7:15
Speaker 6: gonna translate where translation is needed. So the problem we
7:23
Speaker 6: have Number one, as Africans, we have the self identity
7:27
Speaker 6: with tribalism. That is the first problem we have as Africans.
7:31
Speaker 6: Instead of saying number one, I'm even Kenyan or I'm Tanzanian,
7:34
Speaker 6: he started by saying I'm a Kikuyu. And that's the problem.
7:39
Speaker 6: The white people are taking advantage of event till to
7:42
Speaker 6: day to keep us separated because we've accepted self identity
7:47
Speaker 6: through tribalism or tribe, which is super craisy.
7:51
Speaker 7: Notania. Happen like hne the.
8:02
Speaker 9: Malama now here's a hockey communicate the channel now g
8:09
Speaker 9: you he is for me an ill content.
8:13
Speaker 7: That now that my letter by no longer Nada singer.
8:18
Speaker 10: You can't have to leave you.
8:21
Speaker 11: And how.
8:24
Speaker 7: Are you alvo?
8:26
Speaker 12: You know I'm gonna be the themes messing the media.
8:31
Speaker 3: Who was the parctica.
8:38
Speaker 2: Ni?
8:40
Speaker 12: I'm scored my family, your book and that's the public.
8:51
Speaker 12: Him who is gonna have your police and him sometimes.
8:56
Speaker 6: Are near exactly so the number one problem with the companion.
9:00
Speaker 6: So these are Tanzanian official and just like the Yama
9:03
Speaker 6: is explaining, he's born and roused in Tanzania and his father,
9:07
Speaker 6: his late father, when he died, of course left in
9:11
Speaker 6: the land that they acquired in Tanzania through the legal way,
9:16
Speaker 6: not just going and grabbing lands like the white people.
9:19
Speaker 6: The way they do come and settle they got the
9:21
Speaker 6: land is the right procedure, and they settled in Tanzania.
9:24
Speaker 6: So he is a born and raised Tanzania, which of course,
9:27
Speaker 6: if you're born in a country or another country, that
9:29
Speaker 6: makes you a citizen. That is actually that is something
9:32
Speaker 6: that is known. If I'm born in Uganda, that makes
9:34
Speaker 6: me you Gandan despite my mom being a Kenyan or
9:37
Speaker 6: my dad being a Kenyan. I'm a Ugandan because I'm
9:40
Speaker 6: born there and raised there. But the problem again we have,
9:45
Speaker 6: like I said, is the self identification. When it comes
9:48
Speaker 6: to for how we identify ourselves, we start with tabalism.
9:53
Speaker 6: And that's why I can see that the Tanzanian government
9:55
Speaker 6: itself cannot even all these officials cannot even defriend him
10:00
Speaker 6: because the first thing if first said, was a Machi Cooo,
10:03
Speaker 6: not a Tanzanian, not even an if I said, a
10:07
Speaker 6: Machi Coolo, which is a problem, but we containue because
10:11
Speaker 6: this guy is saying that he shouldn't be there in
10:13
Speaker 6: the first place because he's a Kikuyu, not a Tanzanian.
10:16
Speaker 6: So the fact that we keep on putting this as
10:19
Speaker 6: a tag of identification. It has gotten to the point
10:23
Speaker 6: where again Africans living with fellow Africans from different countries
10:28
Speaker 6: is becoming a problem. Slowly and sadly it's happening as
10:32
Speaker 6: we accept the white man total in our land doesn't
10:36
Speaker 6: make sense.
10:40
Speaker 12: Tanzania.
10:42
Speaker 6: So he's saying, according to the law the land anything,
10:48
Speaker 6: especially when talking about assets, they're supposed to be only
10:52
Speaker 6: acquired and belong legally to Tanzanians only. So if not
10:56
Speaker 6: a Tanzanian anything, any asset get there doesn't belong to you.
11:02
Speaker 6: So I don't know which part of the law is this.
11:05
Speaker 6: Let's go to.
11:14
Speaker 7: Yes, you are.
11:17
Speaker 9: Like yeah Nazism and person the chairman and a chairman
11:23
Speaker 9: and the doctor. Can you uh when your occupy parking
11:28
Speaker 9: and the one happens, the one your university happen and
11:32
Speaker 9: amilily just.
11:35
Speaker 6: Now to your band.
11:39
Speaker 12: When he hears us community.
11:44
Speaker 9: Call a supermarther police because I miss the policy was
11:51
Speaker 9: now the document is a humbanalysy.
11:56
Speaker 7: Maybe the name a value.
12:06
Speaker 3: Value value.
12:18
Speaker 6: So he says, according to the door and the way
12:21
Speaker 6: he understands the system works. If you're born and raised
12:24
Speaker 6: in a country, that makes you a citizen, which is
12:26
Speaker 6: very true. I know for Africa that works, and of
12:30
Speaker 6: course America, I think that's the only research country that
12:33
Speaker 6: has scrapped away. Ah, those type of deals we're Trump said,
12:39
Speaker 6: we're no longer going to be recognizing this as part
12:41
Speaker 6: of what can make you a citizen. But I know
12:44
Speaker 6: in Africa personal say in Kenya. In Kenya, if you're
12:47
Speaker 6: born and raised there despite your parents being Ugandans or Tazanians,
12:52
Speaker 6: that makes you a Kenyan. If you stay here more
12:54
Speaker 6: than seven to ten years, that makes you officially a
12:58
Speaker 6: citizen of this country, and you are eligible to get identification.
13:04
Speaker 6: That is the idea to make you officially recognize that
13:07
Speaker 6: the citizen of Kenyon. No matter where you go, you
13:09
Speaker 6: have the idea. Right, you can get the passport, you
13:12
Speaker 6: can get the that certificate. Now those procedures continue so
13:15
Speaker 6: long as you have the ID. But it's crazy. This
13:20
Speaker 6: is so crazy. So I'm saying the fact that he
13:22
Speaker 6: understands that, and the fact that he comes from a
13:26
Speaker 6: generation of the Kikuyu people who moved in Tanzania and
13:30
Speaker 6: they got land legally, he doesn't understand why the system
13:34
Speaker 6: of the Tandanian government is trying to kick him out
13:37
Speaker 6: and is openly talking about it, so he can actually
13:40
Speaker 6: let it be known to ast fellow Africans probably who
13:43
Speaker 6: are settling in Tanzania, what dangers are ahead of you.
13:48
Speaker 6: I believe that's actually what we're getting here, because Ames
13:51
Speaker 6: Lewis actually has been taking the lands of so many people,
13:55
Speaker 6: even tanzanias themselves level or even Kenyan so moved there.
13:59
Speaker 6: That is, he's taking lands of Tanzanians there, so people
14:03
Speaker 6: who have been only in lands for over forty years,
14:06
Speaker 6: fifty years, and giving it all the all the way
14:09
Speaker 6: back to Chinese people, the same thing we can see
14:12
Speaker 6: rout of giving to the Israelites settling here. This is
14:17
Speaker 6: super crazy. And then we go back to our Our
14:20
Speaker 6: system of this continent has been set and we've accepted
14:25
Speaker 6: of literally thinking with different people. So if I come
14:28
Speaker 6: settled in Uganda, that doesn't make me a citizen. If
14:32
Speaker 6: I go settled in Tanzania that it doesn't. I'm not
14:35
Speaker 6: supposed to own property because I'm not a citizen of there.
14:39
Speaker 6: It's crazy. Yeah, So he says he's ready to live,
14:45
Speaker 6: and other official keeps on in systems. Are you really
14:48
Speaker 6: are you opinion? I mean, are you a Tanzanian citizen.
14:51
Speaker 6: And he just said, yes, I'm apponing raised here, I'm
14:54
Speaker 6: born and Rasire, so that makes me a Tanzanian citizen.
14:58
Speaker 6: By law, that does make me a citizen. But they
15:02
Speaker 6: want him out okay, So at the same problem is
15:16
Speaker 6: addressing the same problems we see Zambians Gandance facing when
15:20
Speaker 6: they're also in Kenya. So it's despite him being born
15:23
Speaker 6: in Tanzania, this is quite an aged person. I think
15:28
Speaker 6: he looks like probably in thirty made that is probably
15:32
Speaker 6: looks like thirty just by looking right. But he stays
15:36
Speaker 6: despite being born and raising Tanzania. He went and applied
15:40
Speaker 6: for an identification card, which officially makes you recognize no
15:45
Speaker 6: matter where you go, the citizen of that country. But
15:49
Speaker 6: he has never gotten it. He keeps on going back
15:52
Speaker 6: to check it because of course, especially when you have businesses,
15:55
Speaker 6: when you're a foreigner and working in this country, the
15:58
Speaker 6: police are going to be arrasting you. The police always
16:01
Speaker 6: going to be on your case. Some citizens who are
16:03
Speaker 6: very illiterate always going to be on your case. So
16:07
Speaker 6: despite him being born and raised in Tanzania, crazy it
16:11
Speaker 6: still hasn't gotten an identification card till to date, he
16:20
Speaker 6: has registered more than twice, and still they have not
16:23
Speaker 6: processed the documents. So he wants people to tell him.
16:33
Speaker 6: He wants literally with the people who been there and
16:35
Speaker 6: the fact that Samia Sulu is among the crowd, let
16:39
Speaker 6: me know that this made me not literally a citizen completely.
16:44
Speaker 6: The fact you're taking away in my land I can't
16:46
Speaker 6: get to I d should I go back to Kenya?
16:50
Speaker 6: Is that what you're telling me?
16:51
Speaker 7: I never men, you be quite deriving.
17:01
Speaker 11: To nah.
17:03
Speaker 13: To remember Kidstoria, I number remember and if I remember
17:13
Speaker 13: my child.
17:15
Speaker 7: Mo yea disclas.
17:22
Speaker 12: And now you don't have journey discas quae Tanzania. Tanzania
17:33
Speaker 12: need to voting key voting American.
17:39
Speaker 6: See that's the again, the bullshit. We've really accepted the
17:44
Speaker 6: white man's system so bad to accepting the really different people.
17:49
Speaker 6: This is crazy because that's what he's saying. He says
17:52
Speaker 6: Kenya is different from Tanzania. The Kenan pep are different
17:55
Speaker 6: from the Tanzanian people, just the same way as the
17:59
Speaker 6: Tanzanian people from the American people. If you talk about America,
18:03
Speaker 6: that is a different subject. But if you're talking about
18:06
Speaker 6: the African continent, there's nothing that makes us different. Right here.
18:12
Speaker 6: There is no world we've built that we can't be
18:17
Speaker 6: able to cross other African countries. If I have money enough,
18:22
Speaker 6: why should it be impossible for me to get a
18:24
Speaker 6: land in Tanzania and settle there. Why should I go
18:30
Speaker 6: there being worried? Especially after this what we can see.
18:34
Speaker 6: Why should I go there being worried? This system or
18:38
Speaker 6: governance is going to the regime is coming to take
18:41
Speaker 6: away something that I've worked so hard to acquire, and
18:45
Speaker 6: especially if I did it legally and you're taking it
18:48
Speaker 6: away from me illegally, because there's nothing legal about this.
18:53
Speaker 6: This man is born and raised Tanzanian. It goes back
18:57
Speaker 6: to history. Like you said, this is a editory called
19:00
Speaker 6: ah it's called it based on history. When we're the
19:04
Speaker 6: group of the Agiquoi people who moved to Tanzania and
19:09
Speaker 6: he's talking about his grandfather, it's father. They have all
19:12
Speaker 6: lived there. So why is it that now he is
19:16
Speaker 6: being kicked out? Why is it that he is reisted
19:19
Speaker 6: more than twice to get an identification card and still
19:22
Speaker 6: is not being recognized as a Tanzanian. This is so crazy.
19:27
Speaker 6: And now we go back to the system of education.
19:28
Speaker 6: This is not even super super piece because we're talking
19:31
Speaker 6: about in the Chinese language, just put to their curriculum.
19:35
Speaker 6: I mean we're being made super dama instead of being
19:39
Speaker 6: woken up. I mean people are really people men. This
19:44
Speaker 6: country had, say the system of Kiebaki where we were
19:47
Speaker 6: given the free system of education by Hibaki helped us.
19:51
Speaker 6: And this is the generation. I'm about share the next
19:53
Speaker 6: video of what this generation is doing and they're talking
19:56
Speaker 6: about it. This is these are the things that people
19:59
Speaker 6: want change so bad. This is the type of system
20:03
Speaker 6: that the youths are tired of. Every time you walk
20:06
Speaker 6: anywhere or which try by you. Oh you don't belong
20:10
Speaker 6: to my tribes, so you can't benefit from this. Oh
20:13
Speaker 6: you're not Kenyan, so you don't belong here. No, you're
20:15
Speaker 6: you're not Tanzanian, you don't belong here. Kenya has been
20:18
Speaker 6: one of the countries that would been accommodated again and
20:21
Speaker 6: this is very well known. Many people have been here.
20:25
Speaker 6: They can't talk about it. We are the most accommodative
20:28
Speaker 6: country in the whole continent. And I'd say that confidently.
20:32
Speaker 6: We have everyone here, so Malians, Sudanese, Congolese, Randies, Burundians, Tanzanians.
20:42
Speaker 6: As a matter of fact, if you actually go back
20:44
Speaker 6: and talk about Tanzana since you're kicking out at Kenya.
20:46
Speaker 6: Tanzana was known for having trafficking that I remember, I
20:54
Speaker 6: talked about this in Tritain into one. There were trafficking
20:56
Speaker 6: disabled children in my Ruby city. So they can come
21:01
Speaker 6: and beg mercilessly because the system of Tansar is not
21:04
Speaker 6: taking care of the people with disability. This is super crazy.
21:12
Speaker 6: This is this is so crazy. It's very sad.
21:17
Speaker 13: Word about the Basilica and the idea of Musika.
21:27
Speaker 12: Automatically and like Anaya.
21:53
Speaker 7: Come to the to have a yea.
22:01
Speaker 14: Anani, I'm fund of more do so he says, just
22:09
Speaker 14: the fact that you're born in Tanzania, that doesn't make
22:12
Speaker 14: you a Tanzanian citizen, which.
22:14
Speaker 6: Is super crazy because that should be what happens if
22:18
Speaker 6: you're born in a country, that makes you a citizen.
22:21
Speaker 6: So I don't understand what type of system is running
22:23
Speaker 6: in Tanzania. But he says the fact that the young
22:26
Speaker 6: man is born there, that doesn't make him a citizen.
22:29
Speaker 6: So still he shouldn't be gone in any asset there,
22:32
Speaker 6: which is super crazy.
22:34
Speaker 13: Fund what Tanzania, Janny, do? What Tanzania Jenny? I love
22:56
Speaker 13: as I you a group of you're gonna pay Radia yukobros.
23:05
Speaker 15: What happened?
23:08
Speaker 3: What he wrote?
23:09
Speaker 7: The lam.
23:12
Speaker 12: In a nanny lazim? Wow, well yea one when when I.
23:24
Speaker 16: Now Nanni already a Tanzania and come in a namy,
23:36
Speaker 16: I would be hap.
23:41
Speaker 12: Radia.
23:42
Speaker 6: And that's what the young man did. But did they
23:44
Speaker 6: still give him citizenship? Like he said, he's registered to
23:47
Speaker 6: get their identification card twice, but they're still not giving
23:51
Speaker 6: given him the citizenship. There is a man who's over
23:54
Speaker 6: his that literally there is someone who is in his
23:56
Speaker 6: with his start, is born and raised in Tanzania. Still
24:00
Speaker 6: his explanation actually is very nal like it doesn't even
24:03
Speaker 6: make any sense. And this is an official in this system.
24:07
Speaker 6: And then you work out you ask, actually why do
24:09
Speaker 6: we even work? We have none working institutions. These are
24:13
Speaker 6: the These are the reason why we have non working institutions.
24:17
Speaker 6: People cannot even what are you even explaining? But what
24:21
Speaker 6: is what are you explaining?
24:23
Speaker 11: This is?
24:24
Speaker 6: This is making me mad man, This is sick. How
24:31
Speaker 6: are you doing today? Well, you know there is all
24:39
Speaker 6: that chat. You don't come and just distrabt my show.
24:43
Speaker 6: You're gonna allow me to guide you? But yes, so
24:49
Speaker 6: we're talking about Tanzania. So there's this video that is
24:52
Speaker 6: going viral of a young man who is being kicked
24:56
Speaker 6: out of Tanzania, not really being kicked out, but happens
24:59
Speaker 6: land taken away from him. So according to history, we
25:03
Speaker 6: have a group of the Aqua people who moved to Tanzania,
25:07
Speaker 6: that is during the colonial era in Kenya. And then
25:11
Speaker 6: the group of the people when they went to Transay,
25:14
Speaker 6: they got their lands there legally, not illegally like the
25:18
Speaker 6: white people have they come and just rubbish it. And
25:20
Speaker 6: they said they got their land there legally. And since
25:25
Speaker 6: the grandfather's a young man's era have been living there.
25:28
Speaker 6: His dad was born there, he's been born there, so
25:32
Speaker 6: that is where he is home.
25:34
Speaker 7: Because so those and along.
25:42
Speaker 6: There exactly exactly. So he said first one which also
25:50
Speaker 6: have a problem with he said he is Akiku instead
25:53
Speaker 6: of fasting, it's Tanzanian. Because again they believe in every country.
25:58
Speaker 6: If I'm born that in you Banda, despite my parents
26:01
Speaker 6: in Kenyan, that makes me Ganda. That should be a no.
26:06
Speaker 6: I don't understand why this money said just because you're
26:08
Speaker 6: born here, that doesn't make you a Tanzanium. But yet
26:11
Speaker 6: he goes ahead and say, if you're born here, you
26:14
Speaker 6: have to stay here for over eighteen years and get
26:16
Speaker 6: the right citizenship. That is the idea for you to
26:19
Speaker 6: be identified as a as a Tanzanian. The young man
26:23
Speaker 6: is someone in his paties and they said he has
26:26
Speaker 6: a pet. Exactly.
26:32
Speaker 7: This is the corruption that this is.
26:34
Speaker 2: They try to steal and with white brown let anybody
26:40
Speaker 2: white still for god damn that still just like like
26:47
Speaker 2: exactly what you said, Willian mother, it's kenyan Aga and you.
26:53
Speaker 7: Got he's your guard.
26:54
Speaker 6: Yep, exactly.
26:57
Speaker 7: That said job.
27:04
Speaker 6: Yeah, h it's crazy, is not. They're not said about
27:17
Speaker 6: the amount of landing own. But of course you can
27:20
Speaker 6: tell it's a lot of acres because there's a lot
27:23
Speaker 6: of acres because if you look at also probably how
27:25
Speaker 6: and leave most of them have. What I've seen is
27:31
Speaker 6: it's like they still have this how I put it there,
27:38
Speaker 6: there's someone they still live in how they Africans used
27:42
Speaker 6: to live like back then, write if you your grandmother
27:44
Speaker 6: lives here just a few away to your.
27:52
Speaker 3: Community.
27:53
Speaker 6: Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, you.
28:03
Speaker 11: Know Huru.
28:08
Speaker 7: The questions the question.
28:14
Speaker 6: So this is not even him so he's done nothing,
28:17
Speaker 6: so that's why he's actually he took advantage to how
28:22
Speaker 6: to take the mic and talk because as louis the
28:25
Speaker 6: presence and this battle of non non talking sense officials. Right.
28:31
Speaker 6: So recently, I think even since last year, there's been
28:34
Speaker 6: videos going viral of starting from that is the Tanganika people.
28:39
Speaker 6: We saw the people live around the lake. The Targanic
28:42
Speaker 6: people are being kicked out of their land so the
28:45
Speaker 6: white people can be shown what to explore.
28:48
Speaker 1: And all that.
28:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, uh, I told you white people coming back again,
28:53
Speaker 2: white people.
28:55
Speaker 6: About water lake last year.
28:59
Speaker 2: Also that also you got Masade being kicked up the
29:03
Speaker 2: land jazz dead.
29:05
Speaker 7: You trying to tell me the Masade that pants and
29:06
Speaker 7: then you can't pull that either side that.
29:10
Speaker 2: Generated because they need their gookie, can't make that goope
29:13
Speaker 2: border the messages of them us.
29:17
Speaker 7: Oh way, will you have to Ethiopia's.
29:19
Speaker 6: See how the head sometimes and so while losing their homes,
29:24
Speaker 6: uh talking about built homes including the land of us itself,
29:28
Speaker 6: to Chinese people that have been being kicked out with
29:32
Speaker 6: everything and the Chinese people being.
29:34
Speaker 2: Given you got Chinese that Chinese people are still in
29:37
Speaker 2: land because it is crazy.
29:40
Speaker 7: And let's start tell you African people gonna start waking
29:44
Speaker 7: back up and you're going to start un alive.
29:46
Speaker 2: And people tell you that we've got Chinese pros, the averages,
29:50
Speaker 2: this bad place. But everybody coming in and get land again.
29:55
Speaker 2: The propaganda don't work because the people know where they
29:58
Speaker 2: go to. Afer's a lot of the and ship is nice.
30:03
Speaker 2: That's when the white man put the lines the jungle.
30:07
Speaker 7: You in the jungle, I said, I ain't say one
30:10
Speaker 7: daddamn jungle.
30:11
Speaker 12: Yet it was a long busy because I don't want
30:20
Speaker 12: to come play.
30:26
Speaker 7: Yeah, was as long busy by day was get this
30:36
Speaker 7: this how fast a country goes with the white.
30:41
Speaker 2: Work that could maggy bollies only a few years ago
30:46
Speaker 2: and hasn't it was the jew of Africa. We had
30:49
Speaker 2: an African leader, were for African people, but they got it.
30:53
Speaker 2: Ask about it, and don't you believe for one minute
30:55
Speaker 2: they did not lie this.
30:57
Speaker 7: They did.
30:59
Speaker 2: So they come in, They got the Chinese people, got
31:05
Speaker 2: the white people and at gonna her people.
31:10
Speaker 7: Like you go to another come on pay well in
31:16
Speaker 7: a year, Well.
31:23
Speaker 6: It's still the same bullshit because whatever, it's the same
31:27
Speaker 6: bush that is happening to majority of the people who
31:30
Speaker 6: have been born in Kenya and uh settled in Kenya
31:33
Speaker 6: for so many years and they still bag for.
31:38
Speaker 7: That was Exa, that was the Zampiens, that was Thedians.
31:43
Speaker 7: That was the wonder. She just got everybody. Oh my no,
31:47
Speaker 7: the get citizenship. It's a samis yep. I understand that
31:52
Speaker 7: they get talking crazy.
31:54
Speaker 2: You got he lets everybody in there, and he just
31:58
Speaker 2: got every African because people have you got in there?
32:04
Speaker 7: You got probably got South Africans. And then I know
32:08
Speaker 7: you gots we have to.
32:11
Speaker 6: Stand.
32:15
Speaker 7: You got, you got African and again you got your
32:21
Speaker 7: garden because everybody.
32:24
Speaker 6: Yeah, all of them, even my love, my love and
32:27
Speaker 6: even the yeah that love and pep in here. They
32:29
Speaker 6: said certainly yeah technically yeah, yeah, we do have my
32:36
Speaker 6: love and we have like a bunch of people like.
32:40
Speaker 2: Like like South Africa, more be more African, different Africans
32:50
Speaker 2: in South Africa.
32:51
Speaker 7: That's crazy, yeah Africa.
32:55
Speaker 6: And there you know how to We know how to
32:58
Speaker 6: mind your business. The only business to reminder, and the
33:01
Speaker 6: business we've been minded is about rutal. We know to
33:03
Speaker 6: mind our business literally, and we know if you're here
33:07
Speaker 6: and the fact that you're living here, because I remember
33:10
Speaker 6: the last demonstration, some you gods who have been living
33:13
Speaker 6: here were there and they said I'm not here as
33:15
Speaker 6: a not just as you gand them, but as I
33:18
Speaker 6: can because I've been living here you gand was who
33:21
Speaker 6: are settling Kenya for so long. I have businesses here.
33:24
Speaker 6: Of course whatever is happening in Kenya is affecting me,
33:27
Speaker 6: and I am going to participate in what is happening.
33:30
Speaker 6: And that is the mentality we need. Not your comping
33:32
Speaker 6: here all quite different and I don't think we need
33:36
Speaker 6: to be working together. Then kick crooks, go back to your.
33:40
Speaker 7: No no, but you never talking about people.
34:10
Speaker 6: This is crazy. This is why the system of education
34:13
Speaker 6: needs to be changed. Because he's explaining against zero points,
34:17
Speaker 6: talking the same bullshit again, how the system in Africa
34:21
Speaker 6: has been kept to not work of Africans. If we
34:24
Speaker 6: go to another African country, you should suffer. There's nothing
34:27
Speaker 6: a citizenship the way the law is written. Ten plus
34:30
Speaker 6: years living in a country, you're eligible to get citizenship.
34:34
Speaker 6: That is Kenya. I know that, barn here are you
34:36
Speaker 6: supposed to be your you're a citizen. That is not
34:39
Speaker 6: even at this debate that we're about to have burn here.
34:43
Speaker 6: That makes you a citizen. Eighteen years to get the
34:46
Speaker 6: citizenship card. That is the idea and that's it. You're
34:50
Speaker 6: not going to be wondering about the police officers, bother
34:52
Speaker 6: you knew, or what the ideas for you. Hey, I
34:55
Speaker 6: don't care about my accents. You can hear the.
35:00
Speaker 7: Ere that happened here.
35:07
Speaker 15: Pass forward you pisus in Europe, Germany, Market, the Netherlands, Italy, Belgium.
35:23
Speaker 6: So yeah, that's exactly why not Africa, And that's why
35:28
Speaker 6: that we talked about how it is again if you
35:31
Speaker 6: go back to the traveling because if if and how
35:36
Speaker 6: this Africans struggled to get to just Kenya. Imagine from
35:39
Speaker 6: Albic ken I don't know how many nights of this
35:42
Speaker 6: guys spent probably on the road, and they came literally nothing,
35:47
Speaker 6: just their clothes. They came with nothing, probably left with
35:50
Speaker 6: h dollars. You have to eat, you have to drink
35:52
Speaker 6: water along the way. Transport is expensive, of course, so
35:56
Speaker 6: you can imagine what they have gone through, probably having
35:59
Speaker 6: to settle in another country before you want to get
36:02
Speaker 6: to Kenya. Probably it's a whole month, even two months,
36:05
Speaker 6: you know. So it's it's crazy the fact that again
36:08
Speaker 6: also traveling within Africa is expensive. And that's what I
36:11
Speaker 6: say to the Genesis in Kenya, right now. We have
36:16
Speaker 6: a thing going on and that's what I'm saying. The
36:18
Speaker 6: pressure is really getting to me. I might have to
36:21
Speaker 6: get my voters card fight may for the first time
36:24
Speaker 6: because the aim is the the youths who are going
36:27
Speaker 6: to turn up not going to vote for Ruto. And
36:29
Speaker 6: if Ruto comes back, this is going to have to
36:32
Speaker 6: go down. That is the ward of the street. If
36:35
Speaker 6: Proutal comes back, it has to go down because we're
36:39
Speaker 6: not about even the political all the political parties, who
36:42
Speaker 6: is beffe with?
36:43
Speaker 1: Who know?
36:43
Speaker 6: This is about us the majority and people are tired.
36:47
Speaker 6: People are getting tired. I'm telling you people, I know
36:50
Speaker 6: anyone there's a meeting right now. People are just wait
36:53
Speaker 6: to colect money and then after that they say put
36:56
Speaker 6: one time, you know because during them, Yeah, and even
36:59
Speaker 6: during that prevent you're not allowed to say tut term
37:02
Speaker 6: because you'll be beaten. I'm about to share that video
37:05
Speaker 6: this a guy was bettern by the crowd because of
37:07
Speaker 6: the same tutam. And you've been stupid. The only thing
37:10
Speaker 6: you're supposed to say he is m M pay like
37:13
Speaker 6: you're acting paying attention. There's no saying too term. That's
37:16
Speaker 6: agree to what that stupid president is saying at this
37:19
Speaker 6: particular point, but not to chance here. So I love
37:23
Speaker 6: the fact that the youth. This is a video of
37:26
Speaker 6: the you two went to take the quoter's card and
37:29
Speaker 6: they were told they should come back. That's until th
37:31
Speaker 6: yeth of March. And what surprised most of the people
37:34
Speaker 6: is they experien because the gen z is. The way
37:37
Speaker 6: they came up, or the way the gen Zys literally
37:41
Speaker 6: showcased their interest in politics was through demonstration. So the
37:46
Speaker 6: police were set on the ground. They thought, actually they're
37:48
Speaker 6: going to see demonstration and start throwing tear gus. But no,
37:51
Speaker 6: the youth left peacefully and saying, don't think we're not
37:53
Speaker 6: gonna come back. We're going to take that water's card
37:56
Speaker 6: and Bruto is going Ruto must go. And I love
37:59
Speaker 6: the way explaining the results of taking the voter's car.
38:02
Speaker 6: This is not even about even voting. It's because we
38:05
Speaker 6: need to change a system that has been long existing corruption,
38:08
Speaker 6: one which our parents have been so comfortable with, and
38:11
Speaker 6: they don't do anything about it. Every day you're on
38:14
Speaker 6: the line of or every after five years on the
38:16
Speaker 6: line voting, but then the system remains the change the same,
38:20
Speaker 6: the same.
38:27
Speaker 7: As you guys and generation, but.
38:37
Speaker 6: We don't have time for that. We don't have time
38:39
Speaker 6: for sympathy. Are going to shade. There's no time for sympathizing.
38:44
Speaker 6: You see that sympathizing is what has made this system
38:48
Speaker 6: remain the way it is. Or you know, we didn't
38:51
Speaker 6: understand what you guys. We need to understand what wanting exactly.
38:54
Speaker 6: So that's what we want you to keep quiet and
38:56
Speaker 6: let us do the job. You go seach your own down, relaxed,
39:01
Speaker 6: watch the TV and read for the results, because it's
39:04
Speaker 6: going it's going to go down. There's no people really
39:06
Speaker 6: marked and the generation that is actually even angered and
39:10
Speaker 6: understanding what is happening in Kenya that the youths people
39:13
Speaker 6: are mad about the estra lights moving in Kenya. That
39:16
Speaker 6: is that is very on fire on Twitter and TikTok.
39:24
Speaker 2: They know that, the kids exactly because there's there's the
39:31
Speaker 2: skilled African.
39:32
Speaker 7: Man Africans outside of Africa. The average everybody knows that.
39:39
Speaker 7: That's why they're coming back exactly. Very worried ladies moving Africa.
39:47
Speaker 7: They put back to America become American exactly in South Africa,
39:56
Speaker 7: any and all that.
39:57
Speaker 17: Ship young people, big group of students show up pretty
40:04
Speaker 17: to registered voters.
40:05
Speaker 3: Then something strange happens.
40:07
Speaker 6: They are told, so what is happening in the youth
40:10
Speaker 6: are grabbing each other in groups of tens five going
40:13
Speaker 6: to take the voter's card. Because when you go as
40:15
Speaker 6: an individual subtimes it's not nycourriaging. So when you've got
40:18
Speaker 6: a gang, of course someone.
40:22
Speaker 7: That's how you.
40:24
Speaker 2: People because they trying to start, you're trying to steal
40:28
Speaker 2: the selections.
40:32
Speaker 7: But the youth you can't tell people.
40:35
Speaker 18: On that.
40:37
Speaker 17: Come back on March thirtye and of course and that
40:40
Speaker 17: just like better crowd turns around and walks away.
40:44
Speaker 3: No songs, no shouting, no kills, just silence.
40:50
Speaker 19: Information is that the voter registration exercise comments that yet
40:57
Speaker 19: the handlets.
40:58
Speaker 17: Of gen Z voters living in power ortunity, a quiet
41:02
Speaker 17: protest that shook Kenya's political class.
41:08
Speaker 2: This is what's scarce, the puppet puppet your time is
41:14
Speaker 2: out scar that you know, the they get them wealthy,
41:20
Speaker 2: the fabrics and pots. Everybody want to come back and
41:23
Speaker 2: put the boots on the ground. Uh yeah, white people come.
41:26
Speaker 7: To show up.
41:27
Speaker 2: I landed because the Jewish people showing up, Chinese people
41:32
Speaker 2: showing up, tab.
41:34
Speaker 7: Because all fucked up. While are you there? Because there's not, But.
41:42
Speaker 17: Because this time the youth are not storming Parliament, they're
41:47
Speaker 17: astorming the voters register and what started as a simple
41:50
Speaker 17: hashtag hashtag cardy is now looking like the opening chapter
41:55
Speaker 17: of the twenty twenty seven election earthquake. They March nineteen
42:05
Speaker 17: at Chuka University in Takaneasy County. Of one thousand students
42:09
Speaker 17: arrived with one mission, registered as voters, but what they
42:13
Speaker 17: encountered instead became the most symbolic political.
42:15
Speaker 3: Moment ken you has seen this year.
42:18
Speaker 17: Students were directed between the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission
42:22
Speaker 17: and ABC Consideracy Office and nearby HUMA Center, back and forth,
42:27
Speaker 17: back and forth, until finally unofficial dropped the bombshell. The
42:31
Speaker 17: mass water registration exercise starts on March thirtieth, training grace
42:36
Speaker 17: system not yet fully developed. But before the explanation could finish,
42:40
Speaker 17: the students made their own statement. They turned around, and
42:44
Speaker 17: they walked out together, calm, silent and unified. It wasn't chaos,
42:50
Speaker 17: It was cheographed. Are based louder than any murder phone.
42:55
Speaker 7: Like I said, you correct you. That's what I don't.
43:11
Speaker 19: Is that the voter registration exercises with comments on that
43:15
Speaker 19: yet of this man. So if you can appreciate enough
43:20
Speaker 19: and wait for that yet, we will be atful to
43:23
Speaker 19: register ourselves and will beful.
43:26
Speaker 6: There's there's no problem. You know this all this old
43:30
Speaker 6: thing in US men supposed to be Why are you
43:33
Speaker 6: even talking while you are dressing us? We don't need
43:35
Speaker 6: to address the young people. This is why we try
43:38
Speaker 6: to create confusion, because this is him trying to make
43:41
Speaker 6: it seem like there was some sort of problem that
43:44
Speaker 6: the US had. When but told the dates no, they
43:47
Speaker 6: walked out peacefully. I said, okay, just know we're gonna
43:50
Speaker 6: come back because it's not a problem that you today.
43:53
Speaker 6: There's no that there's no enough papers orters, whatever. Fine,
43:57
Speaker 6: we're coming back on that yet. But you're trying to
44:00
Speaker 6: fight more. You trying to make it seem like it's
44:03
Speaker 6: all the genes have a problem now, because please stop democratic.
44:09
Speaker 7: You're not only going to a university.
44:21
Speaker 3: You believe the video exploding.
44:29
Speaker 17: Time, that's like wildfires captures pulled in quote walked away
44:34
Speaker 17: from politicians like this when we're going down on their knees.
44:38
Speaker 3: Its power, then, zimlis.
44:41
Speaker 6: Mos exactly, we need to also normalize that. But which
44:44
Speaker 6: is also being practiced. Literally, you are starting to walk
44:47
Speaker 6: away from this political uh you know the comrades like
44:52
Speaker 6: when you come you want to keep a campaign or
44:54
Speaker 6: talk to people. There's a time rut was talking to
44:57
Speaker 6: himself and his body girls only, and that video went
44:59
Speaker 6: vial and ken. You just were laughing and shaming him
45:02
Speaker 6: and calling him unpopular because you are all president. People
45:07
Speaker 6: are not even They don't even want to listen to you,
45:10
Speaker 6: because people are tired of your goddamn lies. Affordable housing,
45:14
Speaker 6: affordable housing. They look like shit crazy man.
45:20
Speaker 3: The hours, the hashtags began trending nationals.
45:23
Speaker 6: It's about to rain, super crazy. The floods were being
45:27
Speaker 6: told for our rain. I think they've made it every Friday.
45:30
Speaker 6: Now it's looking super crazy. It's about rain. Of course
45:34
Speaker 6: I'm not today, very very crazy. Have they solved anything
45:37
Speaker 6: about the motorboats. We're tired of your words. We need
45:41
Speaker 6: people who are putting in action. We need it.
45:44
Speaker 17: The hashtag Nico Cardy, hashtagucccurdy, hashtag occupy to come and
45:51
Speaker 17: suddenly what you look like a simple campus is then
45:54
Speaker 17: turned international political signal because you they're not just complaining anymore.
45:59
Speaker 3: They are prepared.
46:00
Speaker 17: The fire actually began two days earlier, Tuesday, seventeenth marchin Casarani,
46:05
Speaker 17: Eloby for journalist and activist Alans at Denver, walking alongside
46:10
Speaker 17: Willie oiled but set a modest goal released six hundred
46:13
Speaker 17: new voters in one day. What happened instead shop even
46:17
Speaker 17: organizers six hundred and foot our registrations. I say of
46:21
Speaker 17: this worked of the time, as young people lined up
46:24
Speaker 17: four hours. If something fascinating happened on life, young Kenyons
46:28
Speaker 17: began posing creatures of their voter lification. Their captions was
46:32
Speaker 17: always the same, Nico Cardy.
46:35
Speaker 3: Jay way way better. Don't be so by the native
46:38
Speaker 3: out there that we do not vote. That's been drive
46:42
Speaker 3: has to the street into.
46:45
Speaker 12: Stutin. Who won't that spirit or grand We're here.
46:49
Speaker 7: To register as voters, So to go Cardi.
46:53
Speaker 16: And if the government sins that were coparticle to Lecoco.
46:58
Speaker 6: Exactly exactly this time, people know I want, I am.
47:03
Speaker 6: I don't know what people who people voting for them
47:06
Speaker 6: because the other that's also another problem. I do have
47:11
Speaker 6: a problem with it. We don't know who we're voting for.
47:14
Speaker 6: As much as we want to ask, I know the
47:17
Speaker 6: aim is not to vote for Ruto at least I
47:20
Speaker 6: know that's.
47:20
Speaker 7: The aim the system. You know, the system is going
47:24
Speaker 7: to protect thisself, even guys.
47:31
Speaker 6: Exactly. Then there.
47:34
Speaker 7: Said a worldwide.
47:39
Speaker 2: And who you vote for, whoever won is not real
47:44
Speaker 2: one exactly control boat.
47:49
Speaker 6: And looking at literually the political components we have or candidates,
47:52
Speaker 6: we have all of them. They have been of corruption,
47:55
Speaker 6: one of them being our cabinets, our minister of education.
48:01
Speaker 6: That is when I was in high school. Actually it
48:03
Speaker 6: was really really rough on us, but Edward actually the
48:07
Speaker 6: education sector. People passed, but it did change anything in
48:11
Speaker 6: terms of the curriculum or the system now. But he
48:14
Speaker 6: at least, i'd say, chased some few things on the
48:17
Speaker 6: punctuality of education. He said, no more came in of students,
48:22
Speaker 6: and that is the one who came up with that
48:24
Speaker 6: law or beating of students in school because that was
48:27
Speaker 6: a norm. And some schools listened, some schools didn't because
48:31
Speaker 6: that is still being done. But he's one among the people.
48:35
Speaker 6: After becoming the minister of education, he was was he
48:40
Speaker 6: was he was promoted to become the Interior Secretary of security.
48:48
Speaker 6: Something to do with that and the amount of bodies
48:51
Speaker 6: that were being people that are being abducted and killed.
48:56
Speaker 6: We talk about Bhutto now, the one who is one
48:59
Speaker 6: of the among the presidential candidates. So many young people
49:03
Speaker 6: have been abducted and been found in Rivayala, where my
49:05
Speaker 6: grandma lives. Many young people talk anything against to Hurukenyata
49:11
Speaker 6: or the government. You're going, you're gone, So abduction has
49:15
Speaker 6: not certain Actually with the rude of Martiani, his name
49:19
Speaker 6: is mart.
49:24
Speaker 7: On because.
49:33
Speaker 6: Exactly comes from a family of corruption to exactly and
49:39
Speaker 6: where the brother was a governor and he took all
49:41
Speaker 6: the public firsts that was supposed to be helping them
49:44
Speaker 6: who were and fit them And that's how you wonder
49:47
Speaker 6: how did become a politician the brother. It goes all
49:50
Speaker 6: the way back to history again and the rights none
49:53
Speaker 6: of them are good. All the aspiring presidential candidates, all
49:57
Speaker 6: of them are corrupt. So who are we really voting for?
50:00
Speaker 6: I just know the aim is Rude is not the
50:02
Speaker 6: one we're voting for. But who are we really voting for?
50:05
Speaker 10: Participating in these processes and they're advocating on social media
50:09
Speaker 10: also coming to the crowns to ensure term people stand
50:12
Speaker 10: to be counted.
50:14
Speaker 7: And here to no only you gonna do that. They
50:21
Speaker 7: gotta put their own Bible candid. They gotta be the
50:23
Speaker 7: one to put up their own person.
50:25
Speaker 6: That's true, that's true, But that's the question. You don't
50:29
Speaker 6: have anyone.
50:34
Speaker 20: You see people, because we make a population we have,
50:39
Speaker 20: we are the only who can make the change.
50:41
Speaker 7: That exactly very about percent of gen Z.
50:47
Speaker 2: So they have the the way you can tell me
50:50
Speaker 2: that rug one have said it by the Kenyon for
50:53
Speaker 2: you and they want to out yes, less that's a
50:57
Speaker 2: funny business.
50:58
Speaker 7: We're still in the.
51:01
Speaker 3: Who's made by our grandfathers and fathers.
51:05
Speaker 20: The first change was a colony, The second change was
51:09
Speaker 20: the multipartisan, the third change was the twenty teen constitution,
51:12
Speaker 20: and the fourth and las who would see is the economically.
51:17
Speaker 21: By the initiatives started officially when a friend of mine
51:22
Speaker 21: texted me, register for voting and I want to say this,
51:27
Speaker 21: within two hours to register over one fifteen new voters
51:32
Speaker 21: and forty new voter transfers, and that to communicates something
51:36
Speaker 21: to the government.
51:37
Speaker 12: Just ensure that when the ib C that is next
51:40
Speaker 12: to you registers voter. Because the journey that is Auroverse
51:43
Speaker 12: is bigger.
51:44
Speaker 6: Than where we have come from, very big, very big.
51:49
Speaker 6: Two major is going to be one of the major
51:53
Speaker 6: elections making three after tw after two thousand and seven.
51:58
Speaker 6: This is going to be one of the biggest.
52:01
Speaker 17: Amplifying the message among them Activist Boniface, Monkey, journalists made
52:07
Speaker 17: Influencer are Bizooener. Within seventy two hours, they has I'm
52:11
Speaker 17: from social media trench to national civic mobilization, campus to campus,
52:16
Speaker 17: Matter to Matter, to Esset to esset the message you're
52:19
Speaker 17: spreading faster than any politional campaign because this movement is
52:22
Speaker 17: not being led by politicians.
52:24
Speaker 3: It is being led by jen Zis.
52:28
Speaker 17: This Commission had already acknowledged and made the problem young
52:31
Speaker 17: voters decision has been historically low. Millions of validable voters
52:35
Speaker 17: remain outside the register. So the commission announced and you
52:39
Speaker 17: push enhanced continuous virtual registration the.
52:42
Speaker 6: Nation wide master exactly because I believe this is because
52:45
Speaker 6: like I'm saying, and this is everyone who was saying
52:48
Speaker 6: it as much as again we know they can as
52:50
Speaker 6: have stolen the amount of stealing Ruto is doing publicly
52:54
Speaker 6: and in front of our eyes, and the fact is
52:56
Speaker 6: being caught out and stay bone it doing it and
53:01
Speaker 6: threatening people. I'm gonna remove it from the office. And
53:04
Speaker 6: yet the same people come and talk about it, and
53:07
Speaker 6: it still goes ahead to another office and takes over
53:09
Speaker 6: your business for as everyone and put other board members
53:12
Speaker 6: because it's goddamn. But the lady who was explaining yesterday,
53:16
Speaker 6: if you have a booming business is making billions or
53:19
Speaker 6: millions of money, lout is coming free. And this is
53:23
Speaker 6: crazy because it's on our goddamn we've not seen this
53:27
Speaker 6: massive stealing as much as it's been happening. This was
53:31
Speaker 6: behind our god damn back. Oh there's a missing Now
53:45
Speaker 6: we'll pay the unruly goddamn it. We are the unruly generation.
53:50
Speaker 6: We're gonna do something about it. That's the difference. And
53:53
Speaker 6: it's perfect timing because you came in literally when the
53:57
Speaker 6: gen zys have started knowing what life is. Literally people
54:00
Speaker 6: most of us are from colleges, universities. Now we've started working.
54:04
Speaker 6: We're trying to put houses together, getting some shopping. Getting
54:07
Speaker 6: a job is hard after I'm from college. What do
54:10
Speaker 6: you mean? My mom my parents sold chambers lands in
54:14
Speaker 6: the in the village to ensure are educated. Now I
54:17
Speaker 6: come to Rotary with this no job, and you're a
54:19
Speaker 6: president and you promised us something. Now we're done with
54:23
Speaker 6: the era of theaters. That's a new generation and it's
54:26
Speaker 6: about to go down. Oh sure.
54:29
Speaker 17: The lodge just matched Tharte twenty twenty six with a
54:32
Speaker 17: major objective ex from the voter, called dramatically before the
54:35
Speaker 17: twenty seventeen and general elections. Early projections suggest as many
54:40
Speaker 17: as six point million new voters could join the reddism,
54:43
Speaker 17: and many of them are young pinions.
54:46
Speaker 3: The ABC even.
54:47
Speaker 17: Promised to place regigation centers in the universities, but something
54:51
Speaker 17: unexpected happened. They were into it for the launch. They
54:54
Speaker 17: showed up early and the system wasn't ready.
54:58
Speaker 22: The people are here, okay to transfer their works, but
55:01
Speaker 22: it's because we facilitated the whole program, not with money,
55:05
Speaker 22: but just with social media and total people that we
55:07
Speaker 22: are here for twenty seven again.
55:10
Speaker 6: Now, what I've seen is in my shirts down the
55:13
Speaker 6: internet during the twenty twenty seven election, some alleged posibility.
55:20
Speaker 2: You because it's organized, organized in a network, can you
55:30
Speaker 2: provide and organized?
55:33
Speaker 7: Is the bread now?
55:34
Speaker 6: Exactly exactly.
55:36
Speaker 22: We are here to make sure that they're bad reading
55:39
Speaker 22: the bad politics is home and we are going to
55:44
Speaker 22: put in new leaders, not politicians.
55:47
Speaker 17: But this story is bigger than our registration exercise exactly.
55:50
Speaker 6: And understanding how to define terms politicians and leader exactly like,
55:56
Speaker 6: because these are all politicians, they're not leaders. They just
55:59
Speaker 6: do police games.
56:03
Speaker 3: Learn the faces in these cubes look familiar.
56:06
Speaker 17: They are the same generation the field the streets during
56:09
Speaker 17: the twenty three four Kenyan Finance Day.
56:11
Speaker 3: Protests, the same generation that organized protests.
56:13
Speaker 17: Will take too antigram, the same generation that forced political
56:17
Speaker 17: class to realize something uncomfortable.
56:19
Speaker 3: Kenyan youth are no longer spectrators.
56:21
Speaker 17: They are participants, and now the strategy has changed from
56:25
Speaker 17: street power to balloted power. Organizers like Alans at Denber
56:31
Speaker 17: are now talking about a massive goal fifty million you
56:35
Speaker 17: voters by twenty twey seven. Some estimates of this, there
56:38
Speaker 17: are be the forty million eligible things either a resistant
56:42
Speaker 17: or newly eligible.
56:44
Speaker 3: If even half of them register.
56:46
Speaker 17: The political map of Kenya would change overhead because electrons
56:50
Speaker 17: in Kenya are often decided by margins first smaller than that,
56:54
Speaker 17: which means this generation would become the largest voting block
56:57
Speaker 17: in modern Kenyan history.
57:00
Speaker 22: We know what we are, We know the people we
57:03
Speaker 22: don't want in government offices, and that's why we are here.
57:06
Speaker 22: We are serious and this is just a least musters
57:09
Speaker 22: of what is to come. We are going to mobilize
57:12
Speaker 22: across the country. We're saying fifteen millions from that means
57:15
Speaker 22: fifteen million year Kenyans on the ballot box and said
57:19
Speaker 22: that they're expecting at least six foot eight million. Just
57:22
Speaker 22: sue me that by the end of next year. About
57:25
Speaker 22: to repeat your number exactly.
57:27
Speaker 6: The mom is gonna go hard. And one thing I
57:29
Speaker 6: know about Kenya the hashtags. They go crazy. You start
57:33
Speaker 6: a hashtag, but sure people are gonna do it. They
57:36
Speaker 6: have Twitter or you our Twitter is one of the
57:40
Speaker 6: people alo Nigerians I had. Nigerians are the most active
57:42
Speaker 6: on the internet. That is a ballocks. Okay, we put
57:45
Speaker 6: in a very straight ballocks. Kenya is the most active
57:49
Speaker 6: country in Africa on the Internet. So you start a subject,
57:54
Speaker 6: but sure you're starting a subject that is gonna be
57:57
Speaker 6: debated by Kenya's mostly. I seen even black Americans every
58:01
Speaker 6: time maybe they mentioned about Kenyans and then they didn't
58:05
Speaker 6: expect me b Canans to react to it the way
58:07
Speaker 6: they flock their comments section that I got, damn this Kenyans.
58:10
Speaker 6: Goddamn this Kenyans. Oh my god, I was joking. I'm sorry.
58:14
Speaker 6: They start apologizing exactly, Please, it's not it's a different
58:23
Speaker 6: things are different. We're not trying to accept the most
58:25
Speaker 6: servany or bushitting, but moving away from that to the
58:28
Speaker 6: young people. I'm looking forward to see if I'm going
58:31
Speaker 6: to get the spirit of going to get my voters pad.
58:36
Speaker 6: I'm not yet made up my mind, but you still
58:39
Speaker 6: have time till next year. October is when we have
58:42
Speaker 6: our elections, so we still have literally a lot of
58:45
Speaker 6: time before we get to do that. But on the
58:47
Speaker 6: other hand, we have Nigeria talking about and working countries.
58:51
Speaker 6: Nigeria has signed a deal with the UK to receive
58:55
Speaker 6: the deported failed assidem siek as criminals. This is after
58:59
Speaker 6: the Dealtually, I didn't work with Ruanda because they're supposed
59:03
Speaker 6: to be doing to Randa. The day was signed in
59:05
Speaker 6: twenty twenty two. But now we have Runner which has
59:08
Speaker 6: taken now the UK itself to the court because of
59:10
Speaker 6: the decisions I've made of not bringing a slimy because
59:13
Speaker 6: in their country the mind one hundred and twenty five
59:16
Speaker 6: million dollars compensation after the UK abruptly council the twenty
59:21
Speaker 6: twenty two my brand location and the same the Justice Minister,
59:25
Speaker 6: whose name is the Manuel says that one is seeking
59:28
Speaker 6: accountability for what it described as a breach of a
59:32
Speaker 6: great commitments under the Migration and Economic Development Partnership. But
59:37
Speaker 6: I should this be making you mad because you're losing
59:40
Speaker 6: your money, that's what I see. You shouldn't be making
59:44
Speaker 6: you mad for you accepting. Actually that's a bad end.
59:47
Speaker 6: Taken off my good chest and shoulders. Like I was
59:50
Speaker 6: supposed to be receiving some people. Now I'm being to
59:53
Speaker 6: the country save them, received them. I'm supposed to be
59:55
Speaker 6: celebrating because we talked about that and received that exactly,
1:00:04
Speaker 6: and we talked about how this is going to become
1:00:06
Speaker 6: a very big effect, not to just even run itself
1:00:09
Speaker 6: to East Africa. We're not going just to settle in
1:00:12
Speaker 6: Rwanda and sit comfortably. And then the fact we don't
1:00:15
Speaker 6: even have strict laws as is Africa block when it
1:00:19
Speaker 6: comes to foreign US tour in our country, even as
1:00:22
Speaker 6: our continent people can do this. Why people this why
1:00:25
Speaker 6: we have Russia and coming here recording windows of women
1:00:28
Speaker 6: showing how women are so easily accessible as if we
1:00:30
Speaker 6: are them. Have we met women out here? This woman
1:00:33
Speaker 6: is gonna knock your nose and it doesn't give it.
1:00:35
Speaker 6: Meet me. I'm the one of them, we will take
1:00:39
Speaker 6: your money and we don't give it. Stop playing like
1:00:44
Speaker 6: it's crazy men. But now we have Nigeria that's even
1:00:52
Speaker 6: the craziest bad men. It's crazy. I thought the mentality
1:00:57
Speaker 6: was take the money and go like you know, especially
1:01:01
Speaker 6: if you get those chances when you see white people
1:01:03
Speaker 6: think that the sprinkle sprinkle. But now we have Nigeria
1:01:08
Speaker 6: which has signed the deal itself saying that they're going
1:01:11
Speaker 6: to be accepting now these failed asylum saekers. The say
1:01:15
Speaker 6: Nigeria assigned a new deal with the United Kingdom which
1:01:18
Speaker 6: will allow the Britain to deport thousands of the failed
1:01:20
Speaker 6: asylum sticers and criminals to the West African country. The
1:01:24
Speaker 6: agreement was signed by Albumin Tuji, Minister of Interior and
1:01:31
Speaker 6: Shabana are Home Secretary during the President Blatinibus state visit
1:01:36
Speaker 6: of the UK, which is crazy. I don't know if
1:01:38
Speaker 6: you guys saw the trip. Gibo was taken by all
1:01:41
Speaker 6: the Nigerants official to this trip. All the Nigerants official
1:01:46
Speaker 6: went to the UK because it was it was Tinibu's
1:01:49
Speaker 6: first time of going to the UK. So the all
1:01:53
Speaker 6: of them they this is crazy because it's like when
1:01:58
Speaker 6: I'm going to America having my whole for millly community
1:02:00
Speaker 6: because I'm going to America for the first time, like
1:02:03
Speaker 6: what they for thinking the saying that the New Day
1:02:08
Speaker 6: will also allow Britain to send visa overstays to Nigeria,
1:02:12
Speaker 6: which is a lie and you know they're gonna not
1:02:15
Speaker 6: be They're gonna be having any peace been there. Which
1:02:18
Speaker 6: so there's the time the people in the UK were
1:02:20
Speaker 6: demonstrated saying kick these niggas out, I don't want them
1:02:24
Speaker 6: like that was just last year. Yeah, and it comes
1:02:27
Speaker 6: with the wide flexibility for the UK now. On the
1:02:30
Speaker 6: other and of course still with more other deals. Nigeria
1:02:33
Speaker 6: still with another deal with the UK. They've signed a
1:02:36
Speaker 6: one billion dollar expert finance deal to fund modernizing of
1:02:42
Speaker 6: the two of Nigeria and means seaport. And this is
1:02:45
Speaker 6: President Bollatin who is in the UK on an official
1:02:48
Speaker 6: visit with who's the signing the saying that Balatin Neibo
1:02:54
Speaker 6: is currently on an official visit to the UK and
1:02:58
Speaker 6: to the UK which signing marking significant stubs in strengthening
1:03:03
Speaker 6: infrastructure and trade capacity. If you imagine this, all week,
1:03:06
Speaker 6: I've been talking about African countries just signing deals with
1:03:09
Speaker 6: other countries. And that's why we gave a good example
1:03:13
Speaker 6: like China, one country. You're given one country and access
1:03:16
Speaker 6: of the market of fifty four countries. It doesn't make sense. Well,
1:03:20
Speaker 6: you don't even benefit from any of those deals. You
1:03:24
Speaker 6: get bread crumbs, You give the materials, all of them raw,
1:03:29
Speaker 6: and you left nothing. And then you ask why are
1:03:31
Speaker 6: we so underdeveloped? You know why why are we so behind?
1:03:36
Speaker 6: Because you give away everything, you've not created anything in
1:03:39
Speaker 6: your country, and you make it even water by saying
1:03:42
Speaker 6: you're going to add Chinese language to the senior secondary
1:03:47
Speaker 6: curriculum that is Nigeria. Now you would do it as
1:03:57
Speaker 6: long as they shared a video. We're talking talking about
1:03:59
Speaker 6: how African countries most of them were pardoned. I think
1:04:03
Speaker 6: it was fifteen countries that were pardoned by the Chinese.
1:04:06
Speaker 6: By China, that is the Chinese debt. And yeah, we questioned,
1:04:11
Speaker 6: what is it that China wants back? These countries ask themselves,
1:04:15
Speaker 6: because there's no As an individual, I owed Badjaba two
1:04:19
Speaker 6: hundred dollars and then it tells we just forget about
1:04:21
Speaker 6: that two hundred dollars. There's something you want back in benefit,
1:04:25
Speaker 6: So what is it? What is it that you want
1:04:28
Speaker 6: back because you're not just giving me money, and you're
1:04:30
Speaker 6: telling me you've been giving me not just money by
1:04:33
Speaker 6: every time, and you're telling me just forget about it.
1:04:36
Speaker 6: What is it that you want in my house? And
1:04:38
Speaker 6: if you look at my house, I don't have the
1:04:40
Speaker 6: money you've been giving me. But do I have something
1:04:44
Speaker 6: valuable more than the money? Yes, I do oil. I
1:04:46
Speaker 6: do have oil, I do have gold, I do have
1:04:50
Speaker 6: many other things. This could be maybe my jury is
1:04:54
Speaker 6: one among the country. Not really sure. I have to
1:04:56
Speaker 6: check on that. If it's one among the countries that
1:04:59
Speaker 6: were pa don't on their debt, and maybe why they're
1:05:03
Speaker 6: doing this because Kenya bad Boy has been a good
1:05:06
Speaker 6: example of if you don't pay the Chinese debt, they
1:05:09
Speaker 6: are coming for you, not only for your assets, but
1:05:12
Speaker 6: they are introducing their curricula in your studies. Nigeria is
1:05:17
Speaker 6: a country with two hundred and something tribes. This is
1:05:21
Speaker 6: one of the countries still they were trying to introduce
1:05:25
Speaker 6: different uh they're trying to teach children with their ethnical
1:05:30
Speaker 6: languages each which is very confusing. So if you're a
1:05:36
Speaker 6: comeback exactly, it's crazy. If you're a conbark Wu, you
1:05:44
Speaker 6: should be talked back, you teacher, if you're teacher, So
1:05:48
Speaker 6: how do we communicate as the community?
1:05:52
Speaker 7: That's what.
1:05:55
Speaker 2: Has a.
1:05:59
Speaker 7: Beautiful because why Heli.
1:06:02
Speaker 2: It's a big language that cross the country, but they
1:06:05
Speaker 2: don't happen.
1:06:07
Speaker 11: So that's so that's what language is. So care you
1:06:12
Speaker 11: banda Tanzania Cano, So that's why it's finally language, so
1:06:17
Speaker 11: worth that's what that's.
1:06:18
Speaker 7: The biggest in African should it should be all African.
1:06:27
Speaker 2: You no languages, no working communicating each other, that's a purpose.
1:06:32
Speaker 7: It's crazy.
1:06:33
Speaker 6: Someone says this is very good the way the world
1:06:37
Speaker 6: is going. Nigerians, my parents are going to need another
1:06:41
Speaker 6: language apart from English to nabligate changees open more opportunities.
1:06:45
Speaker 6: It might not be Chinese, it might be French or Spanish,
1:06:49
Speaker 6: but we do not we do need to learn another language.
1:06:53
Speaker 6: These three are amongst the top five spoken languages in
1:06:57
Speaker 6: the world. So Chinese. So she's in Chinese. Should be
1:07:01
Speaker 6: talked to Nigerians this book can barely talking English. Well,
1:07:04
Speaker 6: so you're talking about them learning Chinese. It's super insan.
1:07:21
Speaker 6: But we also have on this other end that is
1:07:24
Speaker 6: the ex Gambian president. Yeah, yeah, Jermy who was who
1:07:28
Speaker 6: has been investigated for diversity, for divers for sorry for diverting,
1:07:35
Speaker 6: that is, for seven billion can and shilling public funds
1:07:38
Speaker 6: to supponsor his luxury lifestyle that is I'm not sure
1:07:49
Speaker 6: but from President Jermy and faces crety after the investigation
1:07:55
Speaker 6: linked him to missus billions in public funds that should
1:07:58
Speaker 6: be next brutal and the rest. The state investigation has
1:08:01
Speaker 6: Founder mainly liable for at least three hundred and sixty
1:08:06
Speaker 6: two billion dollars that is about for seven billion ken
1:08:10
Speaker 6: and shells in misappropriated public funds. The probe is that
1:08:14
Speaker 6: he used much of the money to fund a luxury lifestyle,
1:08:17
Speaker 6: including buying aircraft, limonsines, and real estates. The former leader
1:08:22
Speaker 6: is also accused of disposing of multiple States owned facilities,
1:08:26
Speaker 6: including a government aircraft. According to the report given by
1:08:31
Speaker 6: the country's National Assembly Committee. Longmakers say that they cannot
1:08:35
Speaker 6: confirm we're part of the four rents seventy thousand dollars
1:08:40
Speaker 6: and from the sales of the aircraft was deposited went
1:08:44
Speaker 6: into the exile in Equatorial Guinea after losing the six.
1:08:50
Speaker 7: So that.
1:08:55
Speaker 2: Other and he's wealth in by all his baghettis then Borghinis,
1:09:04
Speaker 2: all his houses and bread.
1:09:05
Speaker 7: It's crazy, here's no good right.
1:09:08
Speaker 6: Lasses exactly, so it's the capter marks the end of
1:09:11
Speaker 6: twenty twenty three years, twenty two year year rules. Sorry.
1:09:16
Speaker 6: During his presidency, jam built a public image as the
1:09:20
Speaker 6: Pan Africanist and a strong prit of the world.
1:09:23
Speaker 7: Would they would do that? Nance?
1:09:27
Speaker 6: I have the investigation shows and picture pointing to a
1:09:30
Speaker 6: collection of high end Western lights feed products. Despite the
1:09:34
Speaker 6: Gambia's tragile economy, Jamma acquired an extensive fleet of luxury
1:09:40
Speaker 6: The High Court reports showed that he bought customized Ross
1:09:44
Speaker 6: Royce Wow.
1:09:45
Speaker 10: And.
1:09:47
Speaker 7: The thing would be.
1:09:49
Speaker 2: Mo Negroes in the cards you don't make up, but
1:09:52
Speaker 2: I gotta have a word, Baghettishi.
1:09:55
Speaker 7: Don't all these for God? They don't want to be
1:09:58
Speaker 7: no dead body?
1:10:00
Speaker 6: Yeah, thank Lis Calida escalades and several limousine style.
1:10:04
Speaker 2: Hours explaining yeplay.
1:10:13
Speaker 7: Lady, I can get over there, lady that president.
1:10:23
Speaker 6: And saying some some of the vehicles were personalized with
1:10:27
Speaker 6: ngreavements of his name and those of his wife who
1:10:30
Speaker 6: should and the interior, And then someone says on the
1:10:34
Speaker 6: comment you need to come for route now, route exactly.
1:10:37
Speaker 6: Ruts should be next, and then someone says that Ruto
1:10:40
Speaker 6: should follow suit. There is no way Africa is moving
1:10:42
Speaker 6: forward if we can't call out and punish evil. If
1:10:45
Speaker 6: that can't happen, forget about growth. And then someone says
1:10:52
Speaker 6: this is what we want to see in twenty twenty
1:10:54
Speaker 6: seven after the second day, exactly we need to we
1:10:58
Speaker 6: need to see route A right and in tickets like
1:11:02
Speaker 6: you gonna find somewhere to hide because he's not gonna,
1:11:04
Speaker 6: he's not gonna, he's not gonna be at peace. Kenya's
1:11:07
Speaker 6: refuse Routo to come back. We will have to be.
1:11:15
Speaker 6: We will have to There's no harm for you right here.
1:11:17
Speaker 6: But on the last videos of the day, I'm gonna share.
1:11:20
Speaker 6: Yesterday we were talking about Africa versus global power. If
1:11:24
Speaker 6: you look at actually the conversations been having, that is
1:11:27
Speaker 6: the position. Africa is Africa again versus the global powers,
1:11:32
Speaker 6: the globals and the globe global powers strut. Sorry, who
1:11:37
Speaker 6: you see madority dominating Africa And if you look at it,
1:11:42
Speaker 6: actually in real sense, Africa is the global power. If
1:11:47
Speaker 6: it makes sense, yes, yes, yes, yes.
1:11:56
Speaker 7: The cars it's the global power. Yeah of course, yeah.
1:12:06
Speaker 6: So let me share these videos. Then we gonna be
1:12:09
Speaker 6: pointing up with that.
1:12:12
Speaker 23: Mm hmmm, trip wars and Dastra war.
1:12:16
Speaker 12: Just look at this, well, we're focused on.
1:12:18
Speaker 23: Tripal wars and das wars.
1:12:20
Speaker 7: The world is.
1:12:22
Speaker 12: Behind me. Is Joji Anderson.
1:12:24
Speaker 23: He's nominated to replace General Langley and during the Suni
1:12:28
Speaker 23: media he was talking about the dial of Africa. He said,
1:12:31
Speaker 23: China and Russia, they're badly involved in Africa. In the
1:12:34
Speaker 23: future of the US economy depends on the US and
1:12:37
Speaker 23: movement in Africa.
1:12:38
Speaker 24: Listen, we need what is your thoughts, souh. Africa is
1:12:48
Speaker 24: UH strategy.
1:12:55
Speaker 7: These black people in America.
1:12:56
Speaker 2: General Africa is the main what he done Africa, American Africa,
1:13:04
Speaker 2: We're going pop.
1:13:06
Speaker 7: I want to tell him, that's what we tell them
1:13:10
Speaker 7: all the government, the.
1:13:13
Speaker 2: So must be control. We must have control of it.
1:13:17
Speaker 2: And the Chinese not the rush the Arcono, but you're talking.
1:13:24
Speaker 24: It forms the streets all the way down to the
1:13:27
Speaker 24: Super's Canal and the red scene, the mineral.
1:13:31
Speaker 7: Resources that are minerals, the future economy for the bs
1:13:38
Speaker 7: that know, you know those one thing people economy without
1:13:42
Speaker 7: the exactly we said engage there and so we can
1:13:49
Speaker 7: see that in that ground. And I think we have
1:13:53
Speaker 7: a very powerful tool to compete with.
1:13:56
Speaker 24: As I mentioned, nobody brings more credibly characters the US, he.
1:14:02
Speaker 23: Said to himself. The routes in Africa and various strategy
1:14:07
Speaker 23: and the critical minerals are important for the future economy.
1:14:11
Speaker 23: Russia and China they've already involved in Africa and the
1:14:14
Speaker 23: UNS they want to be involved as well. Instead of
1:14:17
Speaker 23: focusing on the tribal wars and as for wards, we
1:14:19
Speaker 23: should focus on Africa exactly. Everyone they know that it's
1:14:23
Speaker 23: the future and we should be an.
1:14:24
Speaker 12: Important Well they said that, but what do you guys
1:14:27
Speaker 12: know that alone?
1:14:30
Speaker 25: You look at the West and you think we are
1:14:32
Speaker 25: living the dream. But let me show you the truth
1:14:35
Speaker 25: with numbers. In Europe, the riches ten percent own about sixty.
1:14:40
Speaker 7: Percent of everything.
1:14:42
Speaker 25: In the United States, the one percent alone of all world,
1:14:47
Speaker 25: of all wealth, and the both on half together they
1:14:51
Speaker 25: own just noo percent. Now look at Africa, the riches
1:14:55
Speaker 25: one percent, just one in one hundred, own about top
1:14:59
Speaker 25: of everything. In South Africa. That of ten percent control
1:15:04
Speaker 25: more than eighty percent of the country's wealth. Do you
1:15:08
Speaker 25: see the patterns so far? It's not us, it's all
1:15:14
Speaker 25: of us beneath the same pyramid. Yes, there are differences
1:15:20
Speaker 25: here in the West, poverty is hidden behind clean streets
1:15:23
Speaker 25: and credit cards people that belong to the bench, dry
1:15:28
Speaker 25: cards that belong to finance companies, And I throve all death.
1:15:33
Speaker 25: I know it looks like all death there isn't and
1:15:36
Speaker 25: it's actually controlled. In Africa, inequality is even more visible.
1:15:41
Speaker 25: The mansions of the few stand out against the struggles
1:15:45
Speaker 25: of the many. But the design is the same, a
1:15:49
Speaker 25: tiny it holding everything while the majority carried away.
1:15:55
Speaker 3: We are actually more.
1:15:56
Speaker 7: Alike than you think.
1:15:58
Speaker 25: You are told that were rich, but most of us
1:16:01
Speaker 25: are drawing in death, stress, poison, food and illusions, and
1:16:05
Speaker 25: we are told you are poor.
1:16:07
Speaker 7: The lands which your space is strong, and still the
1:16:10
Speaker 7: same darks fait on you. So let's be clear.
1:16:14
Speaker 25: The problem is not that Africans luck or that Westerners have.
1:16:20
Speaker 25: The problem is that everywhere the wealth of nations is
1:16:24
Speaker 25: captured by the few, while the many are told stories
1:16:28
Speaker 25: to give them divide. So do you think we are
1:16:32
Speaker 25: your enemy? We were told you are ours. But the
1:16:37
Speaker 25: truth is actually simple, a that we are all being
1:16:42
Speaker 25: like to most conversations.
1:16:44
Speaker 10: About Africa of the aid of conflict. But what if
1:16:49
Speaker 10: Fox it turns out to be true. A professor called
1:16:53
Speaker 10: chan Cha believes Africa to become one of the most
1:16:57
Speaker 10: important regions in the future level systems.
1:16:59
Speaker 6: Not called we are one of the most important, not
1:17:03
Speaker 6: called we are.
1:17:06
Speaker 10: Charity, not because of aid, but because of power. If
1:17:12
Speaker 10: this is the first time you're seeing my name is Lauren,
1:17:15
Speaker 10: and this is your Africa stories. Professor John Streching studies
1:17:23
Speaker 10: historic or patterns in global politics and how shifts in
1:17:27
Speaker 10: power between countries shape the future. Some of his predictions
1:17:31
Speaker 10: about rising tensions between global powers and the future direction
1:17:35
Speaker 10: of the United States have gained attention online, but what
1:17:39
Speaker 10: caught my attention most is what he says about Africa.
1:17:44
Speaker 10: Before we go further, I want to say something. I'm
1:17:48
Speaker 10: not a geopolitical expert or a professor. I'm simply someone
1:17:53
Speaker 10: who introdues researching history, ideas and stories and sharing what
1:17:58
Speaker 10: I discover. Think of me as an independent and curious
1:18:02
Speaker 10: person who reads, learns, and then brings those discoveries to
1:18:05
Speaker 10: you so we can explore them together.
1:18:08
Speaker 3: So his first big idea.
1:18:10
Speaker 10: Is this Africa could become one of the central arenas
1:18:14
Speaker 10: in global politics. The world is slowly shifting away from
1:18:18
Speaker 10: a system dominated by one global power. Instead, we are
1:18:22
Speaker 10: seeing several centers of influence emerging the United States, China, India,
1:18:30
Speaker 10: and countries in the Gulf, and many of them are
1:18:33
Speaker 10: increasingly looking toward the same place Africa. Why because Africa
1:18:41
Speaker 10: holds many of the minerals for modern technology. Many of
1:18:45
Speaker 10: the materials used in smartphones, electric cars, and modern batteries
1:18:50
Speaker 10: come from African countries minerals such as coal, lithium, and
1:18:55
Speaker 10: rare earth elements. Africa also sits along some of the
1:18:59
Speaker 10: most most important global trade routes, and its population is
1:19:04
Speaker 10: growing faster than any other region on Earth. In our words,
1:19:08
Speaker 10: Africa may not remain on the sidelines of global politics,
1:19:13
Speaker 10: could move much closer to the center. Another thing Professor
1:19:17
Speaker 10: Tower points out is about bargaining power.
1:19:20
Speaker 3: When several powerful.
1:19:21
Speaker 10: Countries compete for influence in the C region, that region
1:19:25
Speaker 10: can sometimes gain leverage. If multiple global powers want partnerships
1:19:30
Speaker 10: in Africa, African governments have more room to negotiate infrastructure
1:19:36
Speaker 10: from one partner, technology from another, trade agreement from another.
1:19:42
Speaker 6: I know exactly we need to we need to we
1:19:46
Speaker 6: make our deals that the operation bull sheet needs to be.
1:19:49
Speaker 6: We need to take that time out. Okay, we're doing
1:19:52
Speaker 6: the business business. There's not operating collaboration bullet you want
1:19:56
Speaker 6: something from me, I want something from you. So what
1:19:59
Speaker 6: we're gonna do is I have benefit again if not
1:20:02
Speaker 6: using the way we can see Russia using and booking
1:20:05
Speaker 6: a fast using Russia and probably don't reverse engineering some
1:20:10
Speaker 6: of the things that they are getting from Russia and
1:20:12
Speaker 6: to keep that technology again. Now starting in the country
1:20:19
Speaker 6: and making them independent agains your stupid Why are you
1:20:22
Speaker 6: making corporation and with countries that have already developed way
1:20:26
Speaker 6: ahead than you and leaving you with the bread crabs
1:20:30
Speaker 6: and living with the whole love to go fit their people.
1:20:34
Speaker 6: We need to get rid of those terms corporation, collaboration.
1:20:38
Speaker 6: What have they helped us with nothing so far? We're
1:20:41
Speaker 6: way behind. Were talking about the history and they were
1:20:44
Speaker 6: just the other time.
1:20:46
Speaker 7: So this is supposed to be quid pro to get this,
1:20:53
Speaker 7: get that.
1:20:55
Speaker 6: Exactly.
1:20:57
Speaker 7: I want to be your friend. I want you to
1:20:59
Speaker 7: like me great great did.
1:21:04
Speaker 6: Exactly?
1:21:04
Speaker 10: Efficient between powerful countries can sometimes give African governments more
1:21:10
Speaker 10: space to got better deals. And then there's another factor
1:21:14
Speaker 10: that's really important. Africa is already the youngest continent on
1:21:19
Speaker 10: Earth and.
1:21:20
Speaker 3: By the end of this century, meaning one in three
1:21:24
Speaker 3: people on the planet could be Africa.
1:21:27
Speaker 10: At the same time, populations in parts of Europe and
1:21:30
Speaker 10: East Asia are aging rapidly. That means Africa could eventually
1:21:35
Speaker 10: become one of the largest workforces in the world and
1:21:38
Speaker 10: one of the biggest consumer markets. Just imagine that for
1:21:42
Speaker 10: a second. Cities across Africa growing rapidly, young populations entering
1:21:48
Speaker 10: the workforce, new industries, emerging, new markets. For me, that
1:21:55
Speaker 10: kind of demographic shift doesn't just change a continent, It
1:21:59
Speaker 10: can balance.
1:22:01
Speaker 1: Of the world.
1:22:02
Speaker 10: By the way, I'm curious, when you think about the
1:22:05
Speaker 10: future of the world, do you imagine Africa playing a
1:22:09
Speaker 10: bigger role or do you think the world will keep
1:22:12
Speaker 10: overlooking the continent.
1:22:20
Speaker 3: In the year, almost the entire continent.
1:22:26
Speaker 23: Colonial.
1:22:28
Speaker 10: By the nineteen sixties, most African countries had gained independence,
1:22:32
Speaker 10: and by the end of this century, Africa could hold
1:22:36
Speaker 10: nearly one third of the world's population. So when people
1:22:40
Speaker 10: talk about Africa's future, they're really talking about one of
1:22:43
Speaker 10: the biggest historical shifts in human history. What's fascinating is
1:22:48
Speaker 10: that this idea isn't actually new. Some African thinkers were
1:22:53
Speaker 10: saying something similar decades ago. Leaders like Kwame and Krumer
1:22:58
Speaker 10: believed Africa's real strength lies in its resources, geography, and people.
1:23:04
Speaker 10: He argued that if African countries cooperated economically, the continent
1:23:09
Speaker 10: could become one of the most powerful regions in the world.
1:23:13
Speaker 10: Is because future importance. In many ways, he's echoing ideas
1:23:20
Speaker 10: Africans themselves have been discussing for years. And then that
1:23:24
Speaker 10: came across this idea, I realized something most of us
1:23:29
Speaker 10: have spent our lives hearing what Africa lacks, but for
1:23:33
Speaker 10: very few conversations focus on what Africa actually has.
1:23:38
Speaker 3: History has a strange way of surprising us.
1:23:42
Speaker 10: A century ago Africa was largely colonized.
1:23:45
Speaker 3: Just a few decades later, independence.
1:23:48
Speaker 10: Movements reshaping the continent, and now we're entering a century
1:23:52
Speaker 10: where Africa will have one of the youngest and fastest
1:23:56
Speaker 10: growing populations on Earth. So maybe the real question is
1:24:00
Speaker 10: whether Africa will matter in the future. Maybe the real
1:24:04
Speaker 10: question is whether the world has underestimated Africa.
1:24:09
Speaker 6: They have, they have, and it's about It's about time
1:24:12
Speaker 6: because the youth. So we just need more of Nigerians
1:24:16
Speaker 6: to stop fighting about your love rice and start getting
1:24:19
Speaker 6: some critical thinking like us, you know, like the way
1:24:22
Speaker 6: you can you serve critical thinking right now like question things,
1:24:26
Speaker 6: question of government, go on the street and you know
1:24:31
Speaker 6: born those people's businesses shut them down the same way
1:24:34
Speaker 6: we did burn them down, like touch them down, all
1:24:37
Speaker 6: of them. You can be keep on just fighting about
1:24:40
Speaker 6: your love, Ris and the system is collapsing and you're
1:24:43
Speaker 6: one among the countries that can make Africa great again.
1:24:47
Speaker 6: It's super crazy. But as we wind up again, you
1:24:50
Speaker 6: to even with us on the comments section. I see
1:24:53
Speaker 6: but Jack, Bakay, Williams and Trumples here are earliergib saying
1:24:59
Speaker 6: well are you born? Where you're born establishes nationality where
1:25:03
Speaker 6: you can legally have a dormic style and a residence
1:25:09
Speaker 6: is one separate legal standing. That is in the US. Okay,
1:25:14
Speaker 6: where you're born establishes nationality where you can legally have
1:25:18
Speaker 6: a dormicyle and be a resident in another separate legal
1:25:26
Speaker 6: Okay Kamilam's Cariboos and nice to see you in a minute.
1:25:29
Speaker 6: But saying good morning, Jobby, I'm looking at the title
1:25:33
Speaker 6: that is it is unbelievable. How stupid can they actually
1:25:38
Speaker 6: this language so so their culture? It's crazy. Men. Nigerians
1:25:42
Speaker 6: are confused. They don't know what they want. They they
1:25:45
Speaker 6: don't know what they want. That's why they allow their
1:25:48
Speaker 6: ting able to just do. And then do you have
1:25:51
Speaker 6: a drug dealer as a president you expect things to
1:25:53
Speaker 6: run correctly? Like that's a crackead, Like do you expect
1:25:58
Speaker 6: someone to it doesn't give me a not of me,
1:26:08
Speaker 6: not me calling him a crackt because only again like
1:26:14
Speaker 6: fully said, it's only these crackeads or drunkards to make
1:26:17
Speaker 6: this deal. So says that is what you call conquered
1:26:24
Speaker 6: brain that I know, and also say they are not
1:26:28
Speaker 6: taking talking taking a chain Indian or a white man
1:26:33
Speaker 6: land back a banch of cowards. It's super crazy. And
1:26:37
Speaker 6: I also say it's too early in the morning for
1:26:40
Speaker 6: this madness. Never no good news when it comes to them.
1:26:44
Speaker 6: I'm so sorry about that. We got to report though,
1:26:47
Speaker 6: what is happening in real life, because if we avoid it,
1:26:50
Speaker 6: that's how they take advantage of us. Usually if we
1:26:52
Speaker 6: don't talk about it, if we act like we don't care,
1:26:55
Speaker 6: that's how they take advantage. And that taking advantage of
1:26:58
Speaker 6: Africas because we see headlines and we keep quiet. That
1:27:01
Speaker 6: is just a government matter. It doesn't shouldn't be concerned
1:27:05
Speaker 6: in all that. Jip also says correct job go and
1:27:08
Speaker 6: where we are called black. We are saying just just
1:27:11
Speaker 6: in different places with different attitudes on how to do things.
1:27:16
Speaker 6: I agree and also say.
1:27:18
Speaker 7: Yeah, culture is totally you get exactly right.
1:27:25

1:27:56
Speaker 7: why that dolls. It's just like you're saying the same
1:27:59
