- 0:13Speaker 1: to do something for you. And then sometimes it's 50-50.
- 0:15Speaker 1: Do they show up for you? Do they not? FanDuel
- 0:18Speaker 1: has said in the beginning of the year that this
- 0:20Speaker 1: is going to be your most rewarding season yet. And
- 0:22Speaker 1: my God, have they done it. Because people who watch
- 0:24Speaker 1: this YouTube channel, and put their Twitter username in the
- 0:28Speaker 1: comment section can be selected to win bonus bets. We
- 0:31Speaker 1: got winners this week. Let's take a little peeky-boo at
- 0:33Speaker 1: that right there. This week's winner, Arkano, RJ. Congratulations. Round
- 0:37Speaker 1: of applause. We got Dover Lai on there as well.
- 0:41Speaker 1: And Jake... Sidorsky, these three individuals, all they did was
- 0:44Speaker 1: comment their ex Twitter based on if you're a boomer
- 0:47Speaker 1: or whatever. I don't know what the kids are saying nowadays.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Put it below in the comment section. You do that.
- 0:51Speaker 1: Vandal's going to pick three of you guys to win
- 0:53Speaker 1: bonus bets. So let's get right into it. Got my
- 0:56Speaker 1: little tokens right here. My Plinko board. I thought I
- 0:58Speaker 1: was figuring it out. I've slowed down. Last week I
- 1:01Speaker 1: slowed down a little bit. Looking at a thousand. Sorry,
- 1:04Speaker 1: a hundred, a thousand, five hundred, a thousand, two fifty
- 1:06Speaker 1: in a reroll. We're going to start with Gomer Lyle
- 1:08Speaker 1: right here. Come on, Gomer! The $ 100, $ 100 for Gomer Wilde.
- 1:17Speaker 1: That's free money. That's free money. I got to do
- 1:20Speaker 1: better by you, Gomer. That's not fangirl. That's me. That's
- 1:22Speaker 1: my fault. I'll do better on this one right here.
- 1:24Speaker 1: Jake Sidorski. Moving that thing over just a smidge. Do
- 1:28Speaker 1: you see that right there? Here we go. $ 1, 000. That's
- 1:33Speaker 1: how you figure out the board. That's how you figure
- 1:36Speaker 1: out the board. And last but not least, Arcano RJ.
- 1:40Speaker 1: Come on. A little bit of it left. $ 5!
- 1:44Speaker 2: $ 1, 600.
- 1:47Speaker 1: In bonus points just given out because Fandul is saying
- 1:50Speaker 1: this is your most rewarding season ever. Got a great show.
- 1:52Speaker 1: Some people up. Some people. Commissioners are up. Massive units
- 1:56Speaker 1: right now. Let's have a hell of a show, boys.

- 3:18Speaker 3: Yeah, he read the ad read off the card.
- 3:21Speaker 1: Oh, you told him already? Yeah. All right.
- 3:23Speaker 3: I'll talk to him. That's his hang.
- 3:27Speaker 1: That's the first thing he said. Well, really just to me.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I don't know if he even said to you. He said,
- 3:32Speaker 1: I need a little more enthusiasm.
- 3:35Speaker 3: He said, you got to feel it.
- 3:36Speaker 1: Dude, I feel it. But I also feel my eyes
- 3:38Speaker 1: doing this the entire time. And the whole reading debacle.
- 3:41Speaker 1: We talked about that.
- 3:42Speaker 3: I don't think he knows about your condition.
- 3:43Speaker 1: Yeah, he doesn't. Self-diagnosed dyslexic.
- 3:48Speaker 3: But you're walking down the road a little ways.
- 3:50Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, we're moving.
- 3:51Speaker 3: You're getting there.
- 3:52Speaker 1: If you just give me the opt to read it
- 3:53Speaker 1: a couple of times, I can get you through it.
- 3:55Speaker 1: I can get you through it and roll it. I
- 3:56Speaker 1: did mention this. LSU Clemson, first week of Bustin' and
- 4:00Speaker 1: Paint on campus. They're like, Taylor, we need you to
- 4:02Speaker 1: read these two things. My brain, the stadium pulse was through.
- 4:07Speaker 1: It was at a 10. I'm like, all right, cool.
- 4:09Speaker 1: Can I get those before? And they're like, oh, we'll
- 4:11Speaker 1: just read. I was like, get them before, please. I
- 4:14Speaker 1: was trying to be very respectful. Did you see their face?
- 4:17Speaker 3: Because they said, we'll just read it live. And you said, no,
- 4:19Speaker 3: we won't.
- 4:22Speaker 1: And I'm thinking to myself, these guys don't know. I'll
- 4:25Speaker 1: ruin the show. I will ruin the show if this
- 4:27Speaker 1: takes place. So I read it a couple of times
- 4:29Speaker 1: and I end up reading it. And my brain, I'm like, hey,
- 4:31Speaker 1: you kind of killed that for your first time, first show.
- 4:33Speaker 1: Nerves are high for all of us. I have not
- 4:35Speaker 1: read one of those since. Yeah, they've passed those on.
- 4:40Speaker 1: So I hit my mark. Clearly there's a different mark
- 4:43Speaker 1: that I don't know about in the reading world. So anyway.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I haven't even thought about that. Yeah, trust me. They've
- 4:50Speaker 1: been in Peyton's hands every time. This Friday, you'll tap
- 4:53Speaker 1: me on the shoulder and be like, As he's reading,
- 4:55Speaker 1: sorry for the interruptions. We just want you to know.
- 4:57Speaker 1: And he's reading it.
- 5:01Speaker 3: It's a thing that 99 times out of a hundred,
- 5:04Speaker 3: they'll never have to use because the whole point of
- 5:06Speaker 3: it is we're reading an emergency to break in case
- 5:09Speaker 3: of technical difficulties.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:11Speaker 3: And we've been in sunny conditions. And by the way,
- 5:13Speaker 3: until this week, we got it. We got an issue.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I just realized this this morning. We've just gone regular
- 5:18Speaker 3: white or black t-shirt at every show.
- 5:20Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 5:21Speaker 3: Thinking that it would always be 75 degrees for the
- 5:23Speaker 3: rest of our lives. Not this Friday and not this Saturday.
- 5:27Speaker 1: What is it?
- 5:28Speaker 3: It's like rainy. It's like raw. It's in the fifties.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Spooky weather.
- 5:33Speaker 1: Spooky weather. Cause it's Spooktober.
- 5:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 5:35Speaker 1: You see it. It's going to be, it's.
- 5:36Speaker 3: Going to be big tennis. It's going to be really
- 5:38Speaker 3: big tennis temperatures.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Question for you. Oh, last week. I mean, you had
- 5:45Speaker 2: a run on the weather channel. It seemed to have
- 5:51Speaker 2: done what you said it wasn't going to do, which
- 5:54Speaker 2: is rain a lot of the majority.
- 5:56Speaker 1: Of the game. So hold on real quick. Let's just
- 5:58Speaker 1: put a pin in that because what you just did, Will,
- 6:01Speaker 1: is you just looked Josh Bate in the eyes and said, basically,
- 6:03Speaker 1: you were wrong.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Now, how he acts right now, we've got to be very,
- 6:10Speaker 2: we've got to be controlled about how, because we had
- 6:13Speaker 2: to massage him into this.
- 6:14Speaker 1: He was wrong. the weather wasn't effective again. Because he
- 6:18Speaker 1: said it was going to be dry. Yeah, he said
- 6:20Speaker 1: it was going to be dry. By that time, it
- 6:21Speaker 1: would be north. through the East. He talked about the
- 6:24Speaker 1: thing that went over. But sorry, I just wanted to
- 6:27Speaker 1: make sure you knew what you were doing. And if
- 6:29Speaker 1: he were to snap at you. He's doing the finger
- 6:31Speaker 1: thing too. My old man used to do that before
- 6:33Speaker 1: he started. Dude, his computer's got a quiver coming at
- 6:36Speaker 1: some point. My old man, you'd see his fingers start
- 6:39Speaker 1: to quiver and you knew it was a, you know. Yeah, better. Yeah,
- 6:42Speaker 1: he'd get that quick twitch in you real quick. Move
- 6:44Speaker 1: a little bit. And you're closer. That's not for this show.
- 6:47Speaker 1: This is a family show. This is a family show, absolutely.
- 6:51Speaker 1: But that's a trigger movement that you're doing right there, so.
- 6:54Speaker 1: I'm ready to listen.
- 6:55Speaker 3: Spooky. You need to explain something to you. Ginger Zee
- 6:57Speaker 3: didn't explain to you. CFP is classification of precipitation in meteorology.
- 7:04Speaker 3: Rain and mist are two different classifications of precipitation. So
- 7:08Speaker 3: the classification of precipitation that we were talking about, as
- 7:12Speaker 3: you well know, was rain. Okay, the rain was gone.
- 7:16Speaker 1: I've been saying this the whole time.
- 7:17Speaker 3: The rain was out. I landed in Tuscaloosa in the
- 7:20Speaker 3: middle of the afternoon and the rain was already gone.
- 7:22Speaker 3: There was some mist the rest of the night, but
- 7:24Speaker 3: there was not a single classical raindrop that fell the
- 7:28Speaker 3: entire evening. If you're trying to say that Kirby Smart
- 7:32Speaker 3: only won that game because it was raining, then shame
- 7:35Speaker 3: on you.
- 7:36Speaker 2: No, it's called redirection. Hey, you didn't see that coming,
- 7:41Speaker 2: did you? No, he's wrong for that. I've had Georgia
- 7:43Speaker 2: top of the game since week two.
- 7:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you did.
- 7:45Speaker 1: I think two of the three people at this table
- 7:47Speaker 1: right now picked Georgia to win the game. Understood that
- 7:49Speaker 1: Georgia was going to win this game.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 7:52Speaker 2: Now we're just talking about Georgia-Bama. All I wanted to
- 7:54Speaker 2: talk about was it seemed like there was some weather
- 7:55Speaker 2: that was taking place.
- 7:56Speaker 1: Yeah, you popped it on and you watched the game
- 7:58Speaker 1: and it seemed like, oh, it seems like weather seemed
- 8:00Speaker 1: it would be a bit of a factor.
- 8:01Speaker 3: You know what else I did?
- 8:02Speaker 1: A couple drops out there I saw too. A couple connotations.
- 8:04Speaker 1: A couple guys like this and go, and then I
- 8:05Speaker 1: saw a mouth.
- 8:06Speaker 3: Hey, it's wet.
- 8:07Speaker 1: That's what I saw some players say.
- 8:08Speaker 3: But not raining. Just wet.
- 8:10Speaker 1: Just wet.
- 8:10Speaker 3: Big difference.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Okay.
- 8:11Speaker 3: You were talking to Brian Haynes, defensive coordinator of Indiana
- 8:14Speaker 3: before the game in Lincoln.
- 8:16Speaker 1: And I will say he did not seem very enthused
- 8:18Speaker 1: to talk to me at all.
- 8:19Speaker 3: Really?
- 8:19Speaker 1: Similar to Kurt Cignetti, but continue.
- 8:20Speaker 3: He looked pretty happy to me.
- 8:22Speaker 1: They were locked in. They were locked in. They were
- 8:24Speaker 1: locked in.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Well, that's the way they are. They're not human pregame.
- 8:28Speaker 1: No, they're not.
- 8:28Speaker 3: Yeah, no one at Indiana is human. Almost inhuman when
- 8:30Speaker 3: they operate. But remember, I walked up and he was
- 8:33Speaker 3: looking around because the field goal kickers were warming up
- 8:35Speaker 3: next to us. And those things were drawing like it
- 8:38Speaker 3: was a pinball game. And I said, hey, low key,
- 8:41Speaker 3: it's going to be more windy here than it is
- 8:44Speaker 3: at the Alabama game, even though everyone's focused on a
- 8:46Speaker 3: tropical storm down there in the south. And it was
- 8:49Speaker 3: windy all day. It was windy all day in Nebraska.
- 8:51Speaker 3: It was dry. It was upper 80s. It was nice,
- 8:53Speaker 3: but it was windy. I don't know if that came
- 8:55Speaker 3: through on TV, but.
- 8:56Speaker 1: It was windy. You needed that field goal before halftime.
- 8:58Speaker 1: We needed that field goal before halftime. Yeah.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 9:02Speaker 1: God, I hate it for you so much, dude. It's okay.
- 9:04Speaker 2: Listen.
- 9:05Speaker 1: Here's my problem. And I was talking to you right
- 9:07Speaker 1: before the show about this. I got into a mode of,
- 9:10Speaker 1: I'm going to spend 72 hours. I'm going to support
- 9:12Speaker 1: my boy clearly, but I'm just going to bleed. I'm
- 9:14Speaker 1: gonna GBR. Yep.
- 9:15Speaker 2: Every 24 hours I got closer, I could feel the
- 9:18Speaker 2: level of excitement with.
- 9:19Speaker 1: All the whole squad. The whole squad. So much so
- 9:22Speaker 1: that I'm kind of looking at you like, hey, I
- 9:24Speaker 1: want you to come with us. But a man that's
- 9:26Speaker 1: been forged in fire before has understand the trials and
- 9:28Speaker 1: tribulations that has been Nebraska for the past decade. You're
- 9:31Speaker 1: looking at me like, just, we can't say nothing. We
- 9:33Speaker 1: can't do nothing. So much so that we're not doing
- 9:35Speaker 1: rat poison on a YouTube show because you know Kurt
- 9:39Speaker 1: Cignetti's media team is going to see it. I'm out
- 9:42Speaker 1: here flying. Which by the way. Yes, go ahead.
- 9:44Speaker 2: The media team came up and he was having a
- 9:46Speaker 2: good laugh about it. He's like, I was watching your show.
- 9:48Speaker 2: You did a good job not giving any rat poison.
- 9:50Speaker 1: We were combing the show. Very aware. So we couldn't
- 9:53Speaker 1: turn it around within 24 hours. I spent 72 hours
- 9:56Speaker 1: diving in and being a part of the Nebraska culture.
- 9:58Speaker 1: I get back out of it I'm like, all right,
- 9:59Speaker 1: that was fun. I had a good time. Ain't no
- 10:02Speaker 1: way they're going to beat Oregon in Autzen in 10 p.m.,
- 10:07Speaker 1: all this, Dan Lanning. But I sit here on a Wednesday,
- 10:10Speaker 1: and it's not in our sheet. We're not going to
- 10:11Speaker 1: talk about this game very much. Oh, it'll come up.
- 10:15Speaker 1: But I sit here and I'm like, Nebraska's probably going
- 10:20Speaker 1: to win, right? Like there's a, like that Nebraska, what's
- 10:23Speaker 1: it called? It's the Husker. What was the thing? The Roulade.
- 10:27Speaker 1: The Roulade just being like zoned into the Husker. I
- 10:31Speaker 1: guess like I get Husker lenses and I see the environment.
- 10:34Speaker 1: I see the people. I see Colangelo with the point.
- 10:36Speaker 1: I don't want to talk about his stats after the point,
- 10:38Speaker 1: but still a point nonetheless. And I'm like, dude, they
- 10:42Speaker 1: could beat Oregon at Oregon. And I don't know if
- 10:45Speaker 1: that's a derivative of being a Nebraska fan.
- 10:48Speaker 2: I think you just saw a good football team play
- 10:50Speaker 2: some good football for three and a half quarters. And
- 10:53Speaker 2: a couple plays, the four explosives. You saw the two
- 10:55Speaker 2: and the fourth, the fourth and one, the big play
- 10:58Speaker 2: to Marsh after the point. Like you saw a good
- 11:00Speaker 2: football team play some good football. Yeah. To where it's
- 11:02Speaker 2: like you'll learn everything you need to know about, you know,
- 11:06Speaker 2: how this team responds going into Oregon this week. Because
- 11:08Speaker 2: it's going to be a tough spot. Like that emotional dump.
- 11:11Speaker 2: after wanting that game so badly. We were around some
- 11:15Speaker 2: of the staff and players after the game, like walking
- 11:18Speaker 2: down the tunnel and everything else. I mean, it was
- 11:22Speaker 2: brutal that we gave that game away and lost. I
- 11:24Speaker 2: heard a guy lay an F-bomb seven times in a row.
- 11:26Speaker 2: He wasn't talking to nobody. He was just yelling in the.
- 11:28Speaker 1: Tunnel the F-words. Holgerson, the Cholers, just they won.
- 11:32Speaker 2: Everybody won. That was supposed to be it. And so
- 11:35Speaker 2: you take that into account. Now you've got to go
- 11:37Speaker 2: out to Eugene. Eugene is in absolute– you have to
- 11:40Speaker 2: win out the rest of the season, the rest.
- 11:42Speaker 1: Of the year. Wounded animal mode.
- 11:45Speaker 3: Wounded duck mode.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Wounded duck mode. And you're going out there at 10 p.m.
- 11:49Speaker 1: What's going on?
- 11:50Speaker 3: Maintain, maintain, maintain. Finish your sentence.
- 11:52Speaker 2: You're going out there and having to play at 10 p.m.
- 11:55Speaker 2: on Saturday night. The way their time clock, the time
- 11:58Speaker 2: that they end this game, is going to be 1
- 12:00Speaker 2: in the morning in Lincoln. Yeah.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Who do you play after, Oregon?
- 12:03Speaker 1: We have a bye week.
- 12:04Speaker 3: That's good. Okay, so don't worry about start time then.
- 12:06Speaker 1: Right.
- 12:06Speaker 3: You said this is going to be a tough spot.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Everyone agrees, oh, this is a tough spot for Nebraska.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Is it not a really tough spot for Oregon?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Oh, shit. Are you kidding me? Oh, this is scary.
- 12:27Speaker 1: Is it not a tough spot for Morgan? This is
- 12:30Speaker 1: a spooky time right now. What is happening? You jumped
- 12:38Speaker 1: a little bit, Josh. You jumped a little bit.
- 12:40Speaker 3: Well, that's mainly this.
- 12:41Speaker 1: That's mainly that. All right, guys, we appreciate you. You
- 12:45Speaker 1: had a show to do. We'll see you next time.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Thank you very much. Shout out Spooktube, bro. Shout out
- 12:52Speaker 1: Devil's Dungeon. For the ghouls, goblins, and specters for coming
- 12:56Speaker 1: through and giving a little bit of a spook for
- 12:58Speaker 1: us on a beautiful day.
- 12:59Speaker 3: All right.
- 13:00Speaker 1: We'll see you guys.
- 13:01Speaker 3: I wanted them to sign my pumpkin.
- 13:02Speaker 1: We'll get there. Autographs and photos will be done later.
- 13:04Speaker 3: Okay, gotcha.
- 13:05Speaker 1: He hasn't said a word. Are you so mad? What
- 13:10Speaker 1: makes you so mad? I'm locked in. We're, you know,
- 13:13Speaker 1: we're duck hunting this weekend. Okay. Should we take a
- 13:17Speaker 1: look at the four-leader board? We obviously just did a
- 13:19Speaker 1: whole intro on Nebraska.
- 13:20Speaker 3: Wait.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Go ahead.
- 13:21Speaker 3: Is it not a tough week for Oregon?
- 13:23Speaker 1: Yeah. Everybody just keeps.
- 13:24Speaker 3: On saying, man, Nebraska's got to go to Oregon. Like,
- 13:28Speaker 3: you were talking about this after the game. I had
- 13:31Speaker 3: a Nebraska fan watch your Nebraska fan-only press conference and
- 13:34Speaker 3: then tell me what you said because I wasn't allowed
- 13:36Speaker 3: to watch it. Mm-hmm. And you said it right. It's
- 13:39Speaker 3: a big difference between, well, we kind of kept it close,
- 13:42Speaker 3: but we had to smoke and mirror our way to
- 13:45Speaker 3: a near win versus, no, we had them beat and
- 13:47Speaker 3: then we let them off the hook. That feels a
- 13:48Speaker 3: lot different when you're coming out of that game. Even
- 13:50Speaker 3: if you're not a player, just a fan. Everybody who
- 13:53Speaker 3: watched Nebraska last week knows that's a little bit different
- 13:56Speaker 3: feeling of loss. That's a loss you're not... You're not
- 13:59Speaker 3: encouraged because you lost. You're encouraged the style of game
- 14:03Speaker 3: you played can be duplicated on the road. And then
- 14:07Speaker 3: Oregon's got all kinds of issues. You know what they'd
- 14:10Speaker 3: love to have right now? Anthony Calandria. Oregon would love to.
- 14:12Speaker 1: Have that right now.
- 14:14Speaker 3: By the way, do we know who they're starting at
- 14:15Speaker 3: quarterback this year?
- 14:16Speaker 1: We don't.
- 14:17Speaker 2: I tried, you know. I tried hitting my source, the
- 14:20Speaker 2: only source I know at Oregon, to say, hey.
- 14:22Speaker 3: It's a pretty good one, though.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. It's the craziest source to reach out to
- 14:25Speaker 1: when you're a fan of the opposite team. I was
- 14:26Speaker 1: explaining last night, like, hey, who are you starting to
- 14:28Speaker 1: keep using? You can tell me. Send him a Drewski
- 14:31Speaker 1: meme with it where he's like, and, you know, he
- 14:34Speaker 1: didn't give me anything. He just put LOL. Hey, he responded.
- 14:39Speaker 1: He responded. He knows what type of week it is.
- 14:42Speaker 2: He knows how he's laughing at me in the offseason
- 14:45Speaker 2: about this game. He ain't laughing anymore.
- 14:47Speaker 1: 21 and a half.
- 14:48Speaker 3: Point favorite at that point.
- 14:49Speaker 1: We're talking about a downfall.
- 14:52Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying, like, I'm saying more of the
- 14:55Speaker 2: assumption of what Nebraska was. Oregon was 23 and a
- 14:58Speaker 2: half point favorites before the year started. People laugh at Nebraska. Now,
- 15:02Speaker 2: to your point, this is a fucking tough football game.
- 15:04Speaker 1: The difference in this game and other games before is
- 15:07Speaker 1: Nebraska was in the driver's seat the entire game with Indiana.
- 15:10Speaker 1: Indiana won for 10 on third downs. They had the ball,
- 15:13Speaker 1: I think, a third of the time that Nebraska had
- 15:15Speaker 1: the ball. All the things, they're gone. Don't worry. As before,
- 15:20Speaker 1: it's like, oh, they kept it close, but this team
- 15:23Speaker 1: just kind of didn't play up to their standard. They
- 15:25Speaker 1: played down to Nebraska. They played down to Nebraska as
- 15:28Speaker 1: opposed to. Nebraska set the tone, and up until the
- 15:31Speaker 1: very last minute, Indiana couldn't really keep up. which is,
- 15:34Speaker 1: you should be very excited for. Oh yeah, I am.
- 15:37Speaker 1: All right, this Ford leaderboard segment is presented by, you
- 15:40Speaker 1: guessed it, Ford. A hard day's work starts with one thing,
- 15:43Speaker 1: someone willing to do it. And where there's a will,
- 15:46Speaker 1: there's a Ford F-Series truck. This is the Ford leaderboard.
- 15:50Speaker 1: Let's take a look at the Ford leaderboard. Things that
- 15:52Speaker 1: are extremely impressive. Will Compton, coming back up. It might
- 15:58Speaker 1: be as impressive as Josh being up 40 units. 40 units.
- 16:04Speaker 1: Closer to 41 than you are 40.
- 16:06Speaker 2: Hey, check out this. Obviously, gambling, I lost. But if
- 16:11Speaker 2: I hit, if that money line... hit for Nebraska, I
- 16:15Speaker 2: would have had a plus 24 unit weekend.
- 16:18Speaker 1: Nothing to write home about. I'm laying the papers down
- 16:20Speaker 1: like I'm excited, but I lost. Once again, hey, you
- 16:24Speaker 1: were in the driver's seat. It's you are Nebraska of
- 16:27Speaker 1: the locker room right now. I started to point at
- 16:29Speaker 1: the sports book, and then they hit me on a
- 16:31Speaker 1: fucking 75-yard ball. And then statistically, things just went back
- 16:34Speaker 1: and forth. Nick Marsh had to come from the shadows
- 16:37Speaker 1: and handle business on a slant real quick.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Because I saw you over there going like this to
- 16:42Speaker 3: your phone. I thought you were FaceTiming someone. You were
- 16:44Speaker 3: just pointing at the vandal lab.
- 16:45Speaker 1: That's all you were doing. Okay.
- 16:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 16:46Speaker 1: I think that's the thing that's most concerning here. Will
- 16:49Speaker 1: has made massive traction. If you were to come down
- 16:51Speaker 1: and watch the show for the first time, it's like, oh,
- 16:53Speaker 1: Will Compton, not doing very well. Will's doing... extremely well
- 16:56Speaker 1: the last couple of weeks.
- 16:56Speaker 3: People thought minus 50 was on the table with the
- 16:59Speaker 3: way the season started.
- 17:00Speaker 1: The way he was talking was I'm trying to get
- 17:02Speaker 1: to minus 50. Like he reversed psychology himself. I'm at
- 17:05Speaker 1: plus 10. It's gone now. I don't know where it went.
- 17:08Speaker 1: I'm at plus 10 and it feels like I'm kind
- 17:10Speaker 1: of just, I'm walking in place right now. You're just
- 17:14Speaker 1: there right now. Like, oh shit, Josh, plus 40. Yeah,
- 17:17Speaker 1: I'm three and two in my picks, but my parlay
- 17:19Speaker 1: doesn't hit. I got to figure out a way that
- 17:21Speaker 1: we start taking steps forward, not just being complacent where
- 17:24Speaker 1: we need to be.
- 17:24Speaker 3: Let's go strategies.
- 17:25Speaker 1: But overall, plus 40. What's the game plan for the
- 17:28Speaker 1: rest of the season?
- 17:29Speaker 3: Well, I could just sit on it and go one unit. Okay.
- 17:32Speaker 3: But that's not fun.
- 17:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:34Speaker 3: Or I could go for 80. Go for 100.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I mean, where we're at right now, like triple digits
- 17:40Speaker 1: is on the table.
- 17:41Speaker 3: It is on the table.
- 17:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 17:42Speaker 3: Of course, history says, actually, forget history.
- 17:46Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:47Speaker 3: Forget history. Forget history. No, no, no, no. Yeah, we're
- 17:49Speaker 3: going for 80.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Forget history. Forget history. That's in the rearview mirror.
- 17:53Speaker 1: And I was just at your truck. There is no
- 17:54Speaker 1: rearview mirror in your truck.
- 17:55Speaker 3: No, there's not.
- 17:56Speaker 1: Yeah, there's only a big-ass windshield. We only look forward.
- 17:58Speaker 3: We only look forward.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Let's get into the games, boys. What do you say?
- 18:01Speaker 1: Anything else on Nebraska before? No, no, no, no. You
- 18:03Speaker 1: feel good? I feel great. Only thing, yeah, forget history.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Forget the last 10 years.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Nothing exists.
- 18:10Speaker 1: Nothing exists.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Forget the last 10 years. Page one today.
- 18:12Speaker 1: Yeah. Missouri at Ole Miss. Ole Miss is favored by
- 18:17Speaker 1: six and a half points. The total in this game
- 18:19Speaker 1: is 58 and a half. How are we feeling, fellas?
- 18:25Speaker 3: Well, this game shouldn't be on SEC Network, first off.
- 18:29Speaker 1: Drink said it. Drink said it. They got networked.
- 18:33Speaker 3: He turned it into a verb. They got networked.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so this has five Chalai Classic written all over it.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Talk to me. How high does the Chalai go? Five. Wow.
- 18:43Speaker 3: Yeah, this has Classic written all over it. Just a
- 18:46Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago, Missouri went to Mississippi State, and
- 18:50Speaker 3: I thought that was the game of the week. And
- 18:52Speaker 3: that was, but that was at a former life when
- 18:54Speaker 3: Austin Simmons had no interceptions. Now he's throwing a pick.
- 18:58Speaker 1: No. Yeah. He was turned over. And if we had,
- 19:01Speaker 1: if we go back in time, I know we don't
- 19:02Speaker 1: look at history, but I know somebody on this show
- 19:04Speaker 1: said he's due for one. Yep.
- 19:06Speaker 3: And then someone else on this show said, Yeah, he's
- 19:08Speaker 3: probably going to throw a pick that tips off a
- 19:10Speaker 3: receiver in some shape, form, or fashion. And congrats to
- 19:14Speaker 3: both of us.
- 19:14Speaker 1: That line doesn't say that.
- 19:15Speaker 3: Congrats to both of us.
- 19:18Speaker 1: I will say I was fired up when I saw
- 19:20Speaker 1: that he threw it. And I like Austin Simmons. You're
- 19:23Speaker 1: an Austin Simmons guy. You turned me into a hater
- 19:25Speaker 1: of Austin Simmons, and I'm not. I just wanted to
- 19:27Speaker 1: be right about this one moment. Unfortunately, he had to
- 19:29Speaker 1: be the body that took place.
- 19:31Speaker 3: I'm an Austin Simmons guy. I was thrilled when he
- 19:33Speaker 3: threw that interception. Those are the two thoughts that you're
- 19:36Speaker 3: trying to convey here.
- 19:36Speaker 1: Yeah, and I think I landed that plane nicely.
- 19:38Speaker 3: Yeah, both of them landed.
- 19:39Speaker 1: When Taylor found out he threw a pick when we
- 19:40Speaker 1: were getting on the plane, he's like, oh, Austin's in.
- 19:42Speaker 1: He's like, I told you. Got him. I told you.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Then Clifford, somebody was like, hey, it was a tip ball.
- 19:47Speaker 1: He's like, he still threw one. We were doing the
- 19:49Speaker 1: college football recap on Monday and I was spouting off
- 19:52Speaker 1: clearly you heard it because I got some text messages
- 19:54Speaker 1: from you.
- 19:54Speaker 3: You didn't get a text. You got a video.
- 19:56Speaker 1: A video. A video from you. And as I'm being like,
- 19:59Speaker 1: Austin Simmons, I said it. I called it crystal ball Louie.
- 20:02Speaker 1: And Mitch is under his breath like, it bounced off
- 20:04Speaker 1: the wide receiver's chest. And I'm like, I ignore them
- 20:06Speaker 1: in the moment, but I definitely registered all of it
- 20:09Speaker 1: at the same time. It was just nice to be
- 20:12Speaker 1: right once in a while, you know?
- 20:13Speaker 3: Good quarterback matchup here, right? There's a lot of talk
- 20:15Speaker 3: about quarterbacks.
- 20:16Speaker 1: This is a great quarterback matchup.
- 20:17Speaker 3: It could be one of the quarterback matchups of the year.
- 20:19Speaker 3: It feels like we've said that a few times in
- 20:20Speaker 3: the SEC, but they've got some good quarterbacks.
- 20:22Speaker 1: But this one is, though.
- 20:23Speaker 3: All of them have.
- 20:24Speaker 1: Trinidad Chambliss, Austin Simmons.
- 20:26Speaker 2: You're going to be in Ole Miss, the spot that
- 20:28Speaker 2: you ended up leaving, looking across the sideline against the
- 20:32Speaker 2: cat that ended up taking your job.
- 20:34Speaker 1: This is a huge game. Took your home away from you.
- 20:36Speaker 1: Took your family.
- 20:36Speaker 3: Yes.
- 20:37Speaker 1: Massive game. Listen, Ole Miss being 24-1 at home and
- 20:42Speaker 1: Trinidad Chambliss never losing a game at home as he's
- 20:44Speaker 1: been the star. Jamal Roberts, 200-plus yard games. I think,
- 20:48Speaker 1: was that three weeks in a row? Two weeks in
- 20:51Speaker 1: a row. Only person to do that, Henry, Fernette, and Bowden. Like,
- 20:55Speaker 1: they're going to run the football. And as much as
- 20:57Speaker 1: we are excited about Ole Miss and their front seven, like,
- 20:59Speaker 1: that's the strength because they got the big guys in
- 21:00Speaker 1: the middle. Like, the way Missouri runs the football in
- 21:03Speaker 1: the outside zone, like, they're going to get these guys
- 21:05Speaker 1: east to west quite a bit. To where it's like, oh,
- 21:08Speaker 1: that with the way Austin Simmons is playing with those
- 21:10Speaker 1: two wide receivers, you feel like it's going to be
- 21:12Speaker 1: close because Ole Miss' defense, from the run standpoint, we
- 21:15Speaker 1: thought was going to be phenomenal this year. They're bottom
- 21:17Speaker 1: in the SEC. So for me, when I look at
- 21:19Speaker 1: this game, Two things can be true. I think Ole
- 21:23Speaker 1: Miss wins this game. I think there's a lot of
- 21:25Speaker 1: ways for Missouri to keep this game close and to
- 21:28Speaker 1: be in it towards the end. There's also a world
- 21:30Speaker 1: we can live in where we get all shell-shocked and
- 21:32Speaker 1: be like, oh yeah, Missouri is not a contender in
- 21:34Speaker 1: the SEC. And then Ole Miss does what they've done
- 21:36Speaker 1: to plenty of teams and that's run up a score.
- 21:38Speaker 1: People can't compete. I tend to believe in drink at
- 21:40Speaker 1: this point and a strong run game. So I'm going
- 21:43Speaker 1: to take Missouri plus six and a half. I do
- 21:46Speaker 1: believe Ole Miss will win. I think this is going
- 21:47Speaker 1: to be close. I love the idea of five-challi game.
- 21:49Speaker 1: I'll put three units on that.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Three units.
- 21:51Speaker 1: Three units. Okay. And I do want to say there's
- 21:55Speaker 1: very few games I'm confident about this week. Three units
- 21:58Speaker 1: is kind of just where I want to put it
- 21:59Speaker 1: because I need to make something shake in these units.
- 22:01Speaker 3: Three is the new five.
- 22:02Speaker 1: Three is the new one.
- 22:05Speaker 3: All right.
- 22:05Speaker 1: Three is the new one.
- 22:06Speaker 3: Makes all the sense in the world.
- 22:07Speaker 1: Three is the new one for me. I love Mizzou here.
- 22:12Speaker 1: I love Mizzou. A few weeks ago, we were talking about-
- 22:14Speaker 1: You like Ole Miss.
- 22:16Speaker 3: Let him finish.
- 22:17Speaker 1: He might, he might like Ole Miss. It's just the
- 22:18Speaker 1: way the pause took place when he stared at you.
- 22:22Speaker 2: We were talking a few weeks ago, like the thing
- 22:25Speaker 2: that hadn't come along because it was just, it was
- 22:27Speaker 2: mainly Austin Simmons. But the thing that hadn't come along
- 22:29Speaker 2: was the run game. Like you look at Roberts now,
- 22:32Speaker 2: a few weeks ago, it was all about Jaden Ball this,
- 22:33Speaker 2: Jaden Ball that, like- Roberts, dude, he leads the SEC
- 22:38Speaker 2: in rushing yards. He's got over 800. They have a
- 22:40Speaker 2: run game. Ole Miss is abysmal against the run. Where
- 22:44Speaker 2: my question mark is... is can Austin Simmons win with
- 22:50Speaker 2: a lead when he's in a shootout against an offense?
- 22:53Speaker 2: It's all about throwing the football. I love Mizzou when
- 22:56Speaker 2: they are against run-first teams. But Ole Miss, especially at home,
- 23:00Speaker 2: you talked about the record at home, and Trinidad-Chamberlain, I
- 23:03Speaker 2: think that is where I'm just taking Mizzou with the
- 23:06Speaker 2: points here because I'm getting real close to having that
- 23:10Speaker 2: Mizzou money line and them winning outright because Mizzou has
- 23:12Speaker 2: the makeup to make a run at the college football playoff.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Like if they take care of Ole Miss here, like
- 23:18Speaker 1: who are the teams that they have on their schedule?
- 23:20Speaker 1: You got Texas. They still have Oklahoma. Who else do
- 23:24Speaker 1: they have on their schedule? Yeah, they take care of
- 23:26Speaker 1: Ole Miss.
- 23:26Speaker 3: I believe they play Georgia.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Yeah, they play Georgia. But those teams, again, run first
- 23:32Speaker 1: football teams.
- 23:33Speaker 2: To me, it comes down to Austin Simmons against, you know,
- 23:36Speaker 2: the opposition being a passing attack. And where is he
- 23:39Speaker 2: at when he has pressure on him? Because we saw
- 23:41Speaker 2: him kind of sputter against Mississippi State at Mississippi State
- 23:44Speaker 2: a few weeks ago. That's where my only question mark is.
- 23:46Speaker 2: I like Mizzou plus six and a half here. I
- 23:48Speaker 2: think they're going to be able to run the football.
- 23:50Speaker 2: If Roberts is running at five yards a clip, especially
- 23:53Speaker 2: if they went on early downs, I like them keeping
- 23:55Speaker 2: Trinidad and that offense off.
- 23:56Speaker 1: The field because they're explosive. Like Trinidad-Chambers is still a monster.
- 24:00Speaker 2: It's just when I look at Ole Miss, how valuable–
- 24:04Speaker 2: Is there LSU win now that we've seen LSU play?
- 24:07Speaker 2: How valuable is that Louisville win now that we've seen
- 24:09Speaker 2: Louisville play this year? They dominated Vanderbilt, but Vanderbilt has
- 24:13Speaker 2: nobody really on that team. When they're trying to run
- 24:17Speaker 2: the ball, this is a massive front to where they
- 24:21Speaker 2: bullied Vandy. Like when you're seeing a split zone, the
- 24:23Speaker 2: tight end's getting crushed damn near in the B gap.
- 24:26Speaker 1: They have nowhere to go.
- 24:27Speaker 2: To run the ball, they had to just do like
- 24:28Speaker 2: jet sweeps and sweeps and options and everything else. Mizzou
- 24:32Speaker 2: can run the football. They have a quarterback. They're very good.
- 24:35Speaker 2: They're performing like a top 12 unit defensively in the country.
- 24:39Speaker 1: I like Mizzou here with the points plus six and
- 24:41Speaker 1: a half. Unit size. Oh, wow. I'm confident. I like
- 24:48Speaker 1: Mizzou here with the points. He won Lacey back in
- 24:50Speaker 1: the mix. Yeah, yeah.
- 24:53Speaker 2: Dude, I mean, you watch them shut down ball. Like,
- 24:56Speaker 2: this team stopping the run is very good. To me,
- 25:01Speaker 2: it's Austin Simmons and Trinidad Chambliss. Can Austin Simmons keep
- 25:04Speaker 2: that poise in the fourth quarter?
- 25:06Speaker 3: I look at it as Trinidad Chambliss and Missouri's offense
- 25:09Speaker 3: in totality. That's no knock on Kiwan Lacy, who, by
- 25:12Speaker 3: the way, they're coming off a bye week two weeks ago.
- 25:14Speaker 3: He only carried it seven times against Vandy. So he
- 25:17Speaker 3: should be as healthy as you could reasonably be. at
- 25:20Speaker 3: this time of year, but you were mentioning what Jamal
- 25:23Speaker 3: Roberts has done, if that were happening for LSU, I
- 25:26Speaker 3: think it'd be one of the stories of the year.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Like if they had lost- He'd be in a Heisman conversation.
- 25:30Speaker 3: If they had lost Ahmad Hardy or an Ahmad Hardy
- 25:32Speaker 3: caliber player, and some guy was coming in going over
- 25:35Speaker 3: 200 back-to-back weeks, doing stuff like you said, that very
- 25:38Speaker 3: few guys in the last two decades have done in
- 25:40Speaker 3: the SEC, that'd be a huge story. But since it's Missouri, nationally,
- 25:44Speaker 3: it's not a huge story, but here we are here,
- 25:46Speaker 3: so we can make it a huge story. So you're
- 25:49Speaker 3: going against the run defense for Ole Miss in the 100s.
- 25:52Speaker 3: So I trust that they can get theirs on the ground.
- 25:54Speaker 3: Missouri's been very good at limiting teams on the ground.
- 25:58Speaker 3: It's the fact that they're in the 90s in pass
- 26:00Speaker 3: D is the reason I say Trinidad Chambliss probably has
- 26:03Speaker 3: a lot more workload fall on his shoulders than Austin
- 26:06Speaker 3: Simmons does. He can handle it. I'm not saying he
- 26:08Speaker 3: can't handle it. I'm just saying if you have the
- 26:11Speaker 3: facet that's dependable week to week, being the ground game,
- 26:14Speaker 3: that leads me to believe you have the possibility of
- 26:16Speaker 3: achieving a lot more offensive balance. It also leads me
- 26:19Speaker 3: to believe you have the possibility of controlling the game
- 26:22Speaker 3: a lot more. But even then, like there's so many
- 26:25Speaker 3: different aspects of what Trinidad Chambliss can do to you
- 26:29Speaker 3: that makes me think it's kind of one of those
- 26:31Speaker 3: last teams with the ball type of games. So it's
- 26:34Speaker 3: very simple to me. If you're giving me anything over
- 26:37Speaker 3: really four, much less six and a half, I just
- 26:40Speaker 3: take the underdog. I take Missouri plus six and a half.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I'll go three units on that as well. That's about
- 26:44Speaker 3: where my confidence level is. I thought about going with
- 26:47Speaker 3: the over because I know that's going to be really
- 26:49Speaker 3: tempting here. Man, if it's a Missouri game, if it's
- 26:53Speaker 3: an Ole Miss game, forget about it. If it's a
- 26:55Speaker 3: Missouri game, that probably coincides with them ball controlling you
- 26:58Speaker 3: a little bit more than your mind thinks will happen.
- 27:02Speaker 3: And we end up having a game in the low
- 27:04Speaker 3: to mid 50s. So I'm going to just take the
- 27:07Speaker 3: points from Missouri for three units.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I really thought when you had that pause and stared
- 27:11Speaker 1: at Will, I was like, oh, he is going with
- 27:13Speaker 1: Ole Miss.
- 27:13Speaker 3: I'm working on my predictability. I thought there was going
- 27:15Speaker 3: to be a table.
- 27:15Speaker 1: Slap for Ole Miss on the horizon from Josh Pate.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Ole Miss is a football team. He had three interceptions
- 27:21Speaker 1: last year? Three or four. All of last year, he
- 27:23Speaker 1: had three. He's had one in every single game this
- 27:26Speaker 1: year other than Charlotte. Yeah. He's still probably the best quarterback.
- 27:29Speaker 1: If you're looking at a quarterback from a Heisman standpoint,
- 27:31Speaker 1: he's your guy. But there are smaller things that's like, oh, okay.
- 27:37Speaker 1: Not as good as last year in this specific category.
- 27:41Speaker 2: And, you know, obviously they'll be playing with a lighter
- 27:44Speaker 2: box and get as many bodies in the pass game
- 27:46Speaker 2: as possible. Because to your point, like they are, they're
- 27:48Speaker 2: not that good statistically in pass defense. But it's like
- 27:52Speaker 2: when you watch the Ole Miss tape, it's just mainly
- 27:54Speaker 2: inside zone. They're just using the run game, but it's
- 27:57Speaker 2: all Trinidad, which he is a baller.
- 28:00Speaker 3: Top 15 team, Missouri top 15 team in havoc rate
- 28:02Speaker 3: this year.
- 28:03Speaker 2: But.
- 28:04Speaker 3: That's going against a quarterback like Aaron Filo, where you
- 28:07Speaker 3: pretty well know where he's going to be. Chambliss, affecting
- 28:10Speaker 3: him is only part of the chore. You've got to
- 28:12Speaker 3: get him on the ground. It's really hard to get
- 28:14Speaker 3: him on the ground. But if you don't get him
- 28:15Speaker 3: on the ground and you force some errant throws, like
- 28:17Speaker 3: you said, who knows, maybe you steal a possession or two.
- 28:19Speaker 2: And getting to him, too. I'm not saying that Mizzou
- 28:21Speaker 2: doesn't have a pass rush. They do, but Trinidad just
- 28:24Speaker 2: gets the ball out very fast. He knows what he's
- 28:25Speaker 2: doing at all times.
- 28:26Speaker 1: Yeah, it's almost like you'd rather contain rush him anyway
- 28:28Speaker 1: and make him throw from the pocket as opposed to
- 28:30Speaker 1: getting a free runner. where you can go and dance
- 28:33Speaker 1: around and the back end breaks down. That's where he
- 28:35Speaker 1: has his big explosive plays. Exciting game. Exciting slate overall.
- 28:40Speaker 1: Notre Dame at BYU. First time since 2009 that game
- 28:45Speaker 1: day is headed that way. Massive game team. Two top
- 28:48Speaker 1: 10 teams. Right now, Notre Dame is favored minus 10.5
- 28:52Speaker 1: at BYU, at Provo. How do you feel?
- 28:58Speaker 2: To me, it's can BYU run the football? Can they
- 29:01Speaker 2: win on early downs? Because that's what it's going to be.
- 29:02Speaker 2: They're going to have to, it's going to be Bear.
- 29:05Speaker 2: He's going to have to run. They don't have LJ Martin.
- 29:07Speaker 2: That's a massive hit. Notre Dame is, dude, Notre Dame
- 29:10Speaker 2: is nice. Defensively, like you can look at the Heisman
- 29:12Speaker 2: candidates of Darian Mensah, Jeremiah Smith. All these guys are
- 29:16Speaker 2: getting a lot of love because Notre Dame just doesn't
- 29:18Speaker 2: have that tough of a schedule. So you're not necessarily
- 29:21Speaker 2: seeing what CJ Carr's doing. But that dude has dialed
- 29:23Speaker 2: the run games coming along. They got some guys coming
- 29:25Speaker 2: to life on the outside at receiver for him. But
- 29:28Speaker 2: this defense is just the real deal. So the only
- 29:32Speaker 2: way BYU has a shot is if they can run
- 29:34Speaker 2: the football. And Notre Dame's only given up like two
- 29:37Speaker 2: rushing yards per attempt on the ground. Like they are
- 29:39Speaker 2: so good. good top to bottom. Doesn't matter who's in there.
- 29:42Speaker 2: They have depth. They have everything defensively. And I think,
- 29:45Speaker 2: are they getting Leonard Moore back this week?
- 29:47Speaker 1: This weekend?
- 29:48Speaker 3: Yeah, he should play. Don't quote me on that, but
- 29:49Speaker 3: I believe he should play.
- 29:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 29:51Speaker 2: Like, they're getting healthier. I know Kingston was out recently
- 29:54Speaker 2: with an injury. But, dude, this dude, this team is
- 29:58Speaker 2: very good. And they're finally going to be on a national–
- 30:00Speaker 2: they're going to be in a national spotlight against BYU.
- 30:02Speaker 2: Game day is going out there. It's the first– You know,
- 30:06Speaker 2: this is the first game that Notre Dame will have
- 30:08Speaker 2: to put on display for the country. BYU has a
- 30:11Speaker 2: lot carrying on their shoulders because this is a huge
- 30:14Speaker 2: game for the Big 12. But I like Notre Dame here.
- 30:16Speaker 2: I like Notre Dame to cover because I just don't
- 30:19Speaker 2: think BYU is going to be able. They are good
- 30:21Speaker 2: at running the football. I don't believe they'll be able
- 30:23Speaker 2: to run it against Notre Dame. BYU's defense is good.
- 30:26Speaker 2: I just think CJ Carr is playing better than most
- 30:29Speaker 2: people realize. I like Notre Dame here a lot. I'll
- 30:33Speaker 2: put three units on that Notre Dame to cover. The
- 30:35Speaker 2: coughs there, are you trying to imply maybe Notre Dame
- 30:39Speaker 2: choke job? No.
- 30:41Speaker 1: No, I'm not. I have this weird tickle right here
- 30:43Speaker 1: in the back of the throat. Those are the worst.
- 30:45Speaker 1: And I'll be honest.
- 30:46Speaker 3: Those are the worst.
- 30:46Speaker 1: I had it on Monday. He is starting to attack you.
- 30:49Speaker 1: And I had to literally leave. I had to leave.
- 30:50Speaker 1: The last night, I'm sleeping, and I woke up like
- 30:52Speaker 1: three times. Just I'm like- I start watering.
- 30:54Speaker 3: Yeah, dude. Yeah.
- 30:56Speaker 2: And it's just this residual from being sick whatever two
- 30:58Speaker 2: weeks ago. It started attacking him. late in the interview
- 31:02Speaker 2: on Monday with Dusty Slade. And he just starts hitting this.
- 31:06Speaker 2: And I'm like, we have to get off the bus
- 31:07Speaker 2: not once, come back. I'm like, okay, I think I
- 31:09Speaker 2: figured it out. Sit back down and get back off.
- 31:11Speaker 1: All that to be said, Notre Dame choke job is
- 31:14Speaker 1: completely off the table for me. off the table like
- 31:19Speaker 1: i can't even talk i already feel it coming go
- 31:21Speaker 1: ahead you don't yeah so i.
- 31:24Speaker 3: This happened to me a couple of years ago i
- 31:25Speaker 3: had to just stop a show dude i couldn't talk
- 31:28Speaker 3: to anyone that's i was doing a solo show i
- 31:31Speaker 3: just had to stop the show because i couldn't talk
- 31:33Speaker 3: by the way because when it caught in my throat
- 31:36Speaker 3: it just went like this yeah and i had to
- 31:38Speaker 3: say we're done we'll be back tuesday And I just
- 31:40Speaker 3: had to stop the show.
- 31:41Speaker 1: I'm glad. I didn't expect you to have empathy for
- 31:44Speaker 1: my situation. The fact that you do makes me feel
- 31:46Speaker 1: a whole lot better.
- 31:46Speaker 3: It's really bad. It's my biggest fear this time of year.
- 31:48Speaker 3: And going to football games, here's the underrated part. If
- 31:52Speaker 3: you do multiple bits of media throughout the week, you
- 31:55Speaker 3: talk more than you think you do. If you have
- 31:57Speaker 3: a cough in the fall, that puts added strain on
- 31:59Speaker 3: the vocal cords. But what really kills you is if
- 32:01Speaker 3: you go to a football game every Saturday, the cumulative
- 32:04Speaker 3: effect of having to yell to talk, which you have
- 32:07Speaker 3: to do in a football stadium, That's what drags your voice.
- 32:10Speaker 3: That's what drags your vocal cords. And that's what leads
- 32:12Speaker 3: to the throat tickle.
- 32:14Speaker 1: I'm not concerned now because we're obviously shooting the show.
- 32:17Speaker 1: It's not live. If this happens Friday, we got to
- 32:20Speaker 1: have a protocol.
- 32:21Speaker 3: We got to have a protocol in place.
- 32:22Speaker 1: Yeah. We ended up this episode to bring you neutral.
- 32:25Speaker 1: Neutral tastes great. Tastes better than any seltzer I've ever tried.
- 32:27Speaker 1: It's made with real vodka and real juice. That's what
- 32:29Speaker 1: makes it taste delicious. I said this on Monday. I've
- 32:32Speaker 1: had my two favorites, pineapple and lime. I'm here to
- 32:35Speaker 1: announce once again, pineapple and blueberry. are my two new favorites.
- 32:40Speaker 1: Perfect for social occasions, crowd pleaser, especially during the summer.
- 32:43Speaker 1: Think beaches or friends, outdoor bar on a lake at
- 32:46Speaker 1: a music festival. Perfect time of year to grab a
- 32:48Speaker 1: 12 pack of Neutral for the beach or grab a
- 32:51Speaker 1: bucket deal in your favorite bar to celebrate summer. We're
- 32:55Speaker 1: technically in fall now. Neutral, keep it tasty. We gotta
- 32:59Speaker 1: figure something out. It'll just come out of nowhere. Like
- 33:02Speaker 1: this morning, I had one happen again. I was like,
- 33:03Speaker 1: holy shit, dude.
- 33:04Speaker 3: What if I was on air?
- 33:05Speaker 1: What if I was on that right now? I do
- 33:06Speaker 1: it all the time. He gets you some chicken broth,
- 33:08Speaker 1: some hot tea. I got to get something going, dude.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Get some honey in there. Yeah. Chicken noodle soup and
- 33:13Speaker 1: a little bit of 7-Up. Call it a day. Get
- 33:15Speaker 1: dialed in.
- 33:16Speaker 3: And just quit.
- 33:17Speaker 1: Yeah. What's that? 7-Up and chicken noodle soup. That's a
- 33:20Speaker 1: South Park reference. Notre Dame. Minus 10 and a half.
- 33:24Speaker 1: Early in the year, like they're... a one-dimensional team. They
- 33:28Speaker 1: were throwing the ball really well. CJ Carr, you talked
- 33:30Speaker 1: about 70% completion percentage. He's taking care of the football.
- 33:33Speaker 1: Offensive line did a great job protecting. They only have
- 33:35Speaker 1: given up two sacks this year so far. They had
- 33:37Speaker 1: four or five guys returning. So this is one of
- 33:39Speaker 1: the better offensive lines in the league. In the last
- 33:41Speaker 1: couple of weeks, Jonas Walton, this dude's run for over
- 33:46Speaker 1: 400 yards against Stanford and UNC, and I know those
- 33:48Speaker 1: are two names that aren't going to wow anybody, but
- 33:51Speaker 1: it's starting to show that Marcus Freeman and this offense
- 33:54Speaker 1: and CJ Carr, they're getting where they can win multiple ways.
- 33:58Speaker 1: It's going to be very interesting to see against a
- 33:59Speaker 1: BYU team that does a really good job stopping the run,
- 34:02Speaker 1: but when I'm looking at both sides... LJ Martin being
- 34:05Speaker 1: out and bear having, I think more than 50% of
- 34:09Speaker 1: their rush yards since LJ has been out. Seems like
- 34:12Speaker 1: it's a pretty easy team to stop. And when you
- 34:13Speaker 1: have the corners that Notre Dame does, you can play
- 34:16Speaker 1: a lot of man and you can kind of load
- 34:18Speaker 1: that box and say, okay, you have to beat us
- 34:19Speaker 1: through the air now. And if you have to be
- 34:21Speaker 1: through the air, I don't trust BYU long-term for 60 minutes,
- 34:25Speaker 1: being able to do this Notre Dame. We talked about
- 34:28Speaker 1: being there in the spring when we were there in
- 34:29Speaker 1: the spring. They broke everything down on two.
- 34:32Speaker 2: Why?
- 34:32Speaker 1: Because they lost two games last year and they am
- 34:34Speaker 1: getting taken out of the playoffs. On their big screen,
- 34:37Speaker 1: they're showing highlights of other teams doing well against them.
- 34:40Speaker 1: Freeman's done a great job from a cultural standpoint, looking
- 34:42Speaker 1: at history, which we've said you shouldn't do. and showing
- 34:45Speaker 1: it to their team over and over again to have
- 34:47Speaker 1: that chip on their shoulder. We know that their schedule
- 34:49Speaker 1: is not very strong. They have this game and they
- 34:51Speaker 1: have Miami. And these are the two games that they
- 34:54Speaker 1: have to have. And as much as people probably say
- 34:57Speaker 1: they don't look at it, they have to cover. They
- 34:59Speaker 1: have to show that they're a dominant football team. So
- 35:01Speaker 1: when we get into this playoff situation and they're on
- 35:04Speaker 1: that cusp, I don't think they will be, because I
- 35:05Speaker 1: do think they're going to win this game. We'll get
- 35:07Speaker 1: to Miami in a couple of weeks down the road.
- 35:09Speaker 1: But they have to have a good body of work
- 35:11Speaker 1: against a few good teams they play. CJ Carr, ultimate competitor,
- 35:15Speaker 1: done a great job with the football. They don't have
- 35:17Speaker 1: very many turnovers. Their defense flies around, one of the
- 35:19Speaker 1: top in the country. BYU not having LJ Martin, that
- 35:23Speaker 1: in effect gives me, I'm loving Notre Dame, minus 10.5.
- 35:27Speaker 1: I'll do three units on that.
- 35:30Speaker 3: Let's say I told you, congrats, Notre Dame's going to cover.
- 35:33Speaker 3: The final's going to be 30-16. Does that not feel
- 35:37Speaker 3: like a reasonably high-scoring game for this kind of matchup?
- 35:43Speaker 1: Could be, yeah.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Okay, because that still hits the under. So I'm going
- 35:48Speaker 3: to go five units on the under at 46 and
- 35:50Speaker 3: a half. There are so many paths here where maybe
- 35:54Speaker 3: Brigham Young gets shut down entirely, and it's irrelevant how
- 35:57Speaker 3: many points Notre Dame scores. But there are others where,
- 35:59Speaker 3: like if I played this game in Houston, Texas, would
- 36:04Speaker 3: you even give a passing thought to picking BYU?
- 36:07Speaker 2: No.
- 36:08Speaker 3: No, it's all environment. It's all Provo, Utah. It's all
- 36:12Speaker 3: going in there. Rightfully so. It's an extremely tough place
- 36:15Speaker 3: to go into. I know Marcus Freeman said, we're built
- 36:18Speaker 3: for this. We do this all the time. And he's right.
- 36:19Speaker 3: They go into weird places all the time. Not that place.
- 36:23Speaker 3: That's like a uniquely weird place. So I stack that,
- 36:26Speaker 3: just stacking the pancakes here. You also talk about LJ
- 36:29Speaker 3: Martin being out. The other part of that is Bottenmeier
- 36:33Speaker 3: 109 yards rushing versus Iowa State. He kind of has
- 36:36Speaker 3: to be their leading rusher. And you kind of know
- 36:39Speaker 3: that's got to be the game plan because they're not
- 36:40Speaker 3: they haven't thrown the ball against inferior secondaries. They're not
- 36:43Speaker 3: going to throw the ball against Notre Dame. And then conversely,
- 36:46Speaker 3: if Notre Dame gets an early lead, you know, that
- 36:49Speaker 3: game script is just them sitting on it, them bleeding clock,
- 36:52Speaker 3: which probably ends up still leading to a double digit win.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Like to me, classically, when you think about trying to
- 36:59Speaker 3: gain style points, you think of running the score up.
- 37:02Speaker 3: To me, Notre Dame gaining style points here is them
- 37:05Speaker 3: driving the opponent's score down. Holding, are you pitching a
- 37:08Speaker 3: shutout or holding them to single digits or something like that?
- 37:11Speaker 3: So like 23 to 10, 27 to 13, those kind
- 37:14Speaker 3: of scores, those all hit the under. Like if Notre
- 37:18Speaker 3: Dame just runs away and scores 40 by themselves, okay,
- 37:20Speaker 3: I'm screwed. But I think this game script is a
- 37:22Speaker 3: really classic under game script. I'm surprised that they put
- 37:25Speaker 3: that total in the mid to upper 40s instead of
- 37:28Speaker 3: low to mid 40s. But I think that's respect for
- 37:31Speaker 3: Notre Dame and what they could do offensively. So I'll
- 37:34Speaker 3: go five units on under 46 and a half.
- 37:37Speaker 1: That's a good bet. Thank you. It's a great bet.
- 37:39Speaker 1: Is there a world where, since Notre Dame has played
- 37:41Speaker 1: literally nobody up until this point, that we are totally
- 37:45Speaker 1: overvaluing them and undervaluing BYU?
- 37:48Speaker 3: I think the first part, yes. I don't think you're
- 37:50Speaker 3: undervaluing Brigham Young. That's another possibility that I was thinking
- 37:55Speaker 3: about that also leans me towards under. To me, it
- 37:59Speaker 3: would be very surprising, unless you told me there are
- 38:00Speaker 3: going to be defensive scores and special team scores, which
- 38:03Speaker 3: are not predictable, that Brigham Young scoring too many points
- 38:07Speaker 3: costs me the over. If they win the game, it's
- 38:09Speaker 3: a low-scoring rock fight of a game. So yeah, it
- 38:12Speaker 3: is possible that Notre Dame just goes in there and
- 38:14Speaker 3: they get crowbarred. They grind to a halt. And they're
- 38:17Speaker 3: trying to scratch out 17 points. And it's hard for
- 38:20Speaker 3: them to do. But it's not, man, we got to
- 38:22Speaker 3: keep up with Brigham Young. Because they're just moving the
- 38:25Speaker 3: ball consistently on us. And look, if I blow an under,
- 38:28Speaker 3: because Brigham Young's offense minus LJ Martin just consistently moves
- 38:32Speaker 3: the ball on Notre Dame. Okay, tip my cap to him.
- 38:35Speaker 3: I lost. But I got to see that to believe it.
- 38:38Speaker 1: Move my three units to the under. I want the under.
- 38:43Speaker 3: For three.
- 38:44Speaker 1: For three units. You're gonna move to the under? I'm
- 38:45Speaker 1: moving it. Yeah, he's up 40 units. And everything he's
- 38:49Speaker 1: saying is true. Everything he said was true. But I like, no,
- 38:52Speaker 1: I want to do that. But I feel like if
- 38:54Speaker 1: I do that, we, what is the show?
- 38:56Speaker 3: Oh yeah, you're a sellout conformist if you do that.
- 38:58Speaker 3: You'd be a sellout.
- 38:58Speaker 1: Yeah. I'll move him. You did it first, which makes
- 39:03Speaker 1: it okay. The minute I do that, I'm a sheet
- 39:05Speaker 1: plus something else. You're just a sheet. I'm a sheet
- 39:07Speaker 1: plus something else. Stay there, big boy.
- 39:10Speaker 3: I'm a sheet.
- 39:11Speaker 1: We're on the under.
- 39:12Speaker 3: All right.
- 39:13Speaker 1: I'll take Notre Dame minus 10 and a half. Now,
- 39:15Speaker 1: since you're on the under, do you root for the upset? No.
- 39:19Speaker 3: You don't root for the upset?
- 39:20Speaker 1: No, Notre Dame is my national champion. That's right. Notre
- 39:24Speaker 1: Dame is also like Will Compton's Alabama.
- 39:27Speaker 3: It's their adopted team.
- 39:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:30Speaker 3: That well up there. You went to Marcus's house.
- 39:32Speaker 1: Will played for the Washington Redskins and he quietly roots
- 39:36Speaker 1: for the Dallas Cowboys. This is just the college football
- 39:42Speaker 1: version of the Dallas Cowboys for him. He signed a contract.
- 39:45Speaker 1: Did you sign it? Yeah, I signed it.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Did you sign him?
- 39:49Speaker 1: I didn't get offered. Oh, that's right.
- 39:51Speaker 3: And you knew that. That's right.
- 39:53Speaker 1: I didn't either. Neither of us got offered. They were
- 39:55Speaker 1: doing a make good. Yeah, I grew up a Notre
- 39:57Speaker 1: Dame fan. Which is crazy, too, because he actually ended
- 39:59Speaker 1: up offering him in high school at the end. And
- 40:02Speaker 1: he was like, well, I don't want to play fullback.
- 40:04Speaker 1: I never got offered ever. Oh, sloppy seconds. Like, well,
- 40:09Speaker 1: we heard, so we're going to offer you again. I'm thinking.
- 40:11Speaker 3: I'm right here, guys.
- 40:12Speaker 1: All-American. I'm right here. Like, every version. I was all,
- 40:16Speaker 1: all right. But yeah, let's watch this film with them
- 40:19Speaker 1: and tell them what they're doing again.
- 40:21Speaker 3: So wait, who did you, you took Notre Dame?
- 40:23Speaker 1: Well, yeah, I don't have a choice now.
- 40:24Speaker 3: How many units?
- 40:25Speaker 1: Three.
- 40:25Speaker 3: Three units, okay.
- 40:26Speaker 1: Three's my new one.
- 40:27Speaker 3: So no one's rooting for the upset here.
- 40:28Speaker 1: I'm not. I like, I'm a fan of Freeman. I'm
- 40:32Speaker 1: a fan of Carr. I'm a fan of like this team.
- 40:35Speaker 1: And like, I think they have a real chance to
- 40:37Speaker 1: do something this year.
- 40:37Speaker 3: Okay, I do too.
- 40:38Speaker 1: But if they, hey, this one's close.
- 40:43Speaker 3: Wait, wait. I know none of us said we're rooting
- 40:45Speaker 3: for it. Let's just say in a crazy world, it happens.
- 40:48Speaker 3: Do you know what that does to that Notre Dame-Miami game?
- 40:52Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 40:53Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 40:54Speaker 3: No. It makes it a fight to the death. Notre
- 40:59Speaker 3: Dame can't lose two games this year. Some say they
- 41:01Speaker 3: can't lose one. They definitely can't lose two games this year.
- 41:04Speaker 1: They definitely can't lose both of those games. No.
- 41:06Speaker 3: They're out if they do that.
- 41:07Speaker 1: 100%.
- 41:08Speaker 3: I don't even know that Notre Dame fans would disagree
- 41:09Speaker 3: with that. That's the tradeoff of knowing you play a
- 41:12Speaker 3: schedule like this.
- 41:12Speaker 1: Would Notre Dame fans disagree with that? You lose to BYU,
- 41:15Speaker 1: you lose to Miami.
- 41:16Speaker 2: They know that they have to, you can't, yeah, they
- 41:18Speaker 2: can't lose two games. They can't lose their only two
- 41:20Speaker 2: games they got on the schedule.
- 41:24Speaker 1: Shout out Kevin. Shout out Kevin. Shout out Kevin. I
- 41:27Speaker 1: can't wait to see him again.
- 41:28Speaker 3: All right.
- 41:29Speaker 1: Am I a homer for another day? Yeah. Oh yeah. Yeah.
- 41:35Speaker 1: Defense is for real. I saw a crazy story on
- 41:37Speaker 1: why they became the fighting Irish. I don't know if
- 41:39Speaker 1: it was true, but I'll tell you guys after the show.
- 41:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 41:41Speaker 1: It's got to do with racism. They fought back. So no. Yeah.
- 41:49Speaker 1: Is that how it worked?
- 41:51Speaker 3: Well, we'll tell you after the show. I read NFL
- 41:54Speaker 3: end zones, so I don't believe any of that stuff.
- 41:56Speaker 1: All right. You brought up defensive touchdowns, special teams, touchdowns,
- 42:02Speaker 1: Kentucky at Oklahoma. Oh, Cole Kublik on the call. Cole
- 42:06Speaker 1: Kublik on the call for this one.
- 42:08Speaker 3: He sure is.
- 42:08Speaker 1: Shout out Cole Kublik. Shout out Cole Kublik. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
- 42:14Speaker 1: Oklahoma favored six and a half. Total in that game
- 42:16Speaker 1: is 43 and a half points. Last week I sat there.
- 42:20Speaker 1: Red River shootout. Red River rivalry depending on who you are,
- 42:24Speaker 1: what side you lean. I took the under on that game.
- 42:27Speaker 1: And it bit me right in the ass. And a
- 42:29Speaker 1: big piece of that was because of defensive touchdowns and
- 42:33Speaker 1: special teams touchdowns. So my question to you guys is,
- 42:37Speaker 1: is Oklahoma fixed? I've talked to a couple of people
- 42:39Speaker 1: in Oklahoma, not quarter zip guy. He wouldn't return my call,
- 42:41Speaker 1: but a couple of other people I reach out to.
- 42:43Speaker 1: He won't return your call. I don't have his number. Well,
- 42:46Speaker 1: I do. Well, put us in a group chat. Quarter
- 42:50Speaker 1: zip guy, Taylor. Taylor, get quarter zip guy.
- 42:51Speaker 3: Here's what we got to do after the show. You
- 42:53Speaker 3: got to tell us about the Notre Dame racism story.
- 42:55Speaker 1: Yep.
- 42:55Speaker 3: And I've got a link.
- 42:56Speaker 1: You and... Cuse it.
- 42:58Speaker 3: Mic up. He has a real name.
- 43:00Speaker 1: He has a real name. Yes. That's a pretty good guy.
- 43:03Speaker 1: He'll use his real name.
- 43:04Speaker 3: We'll talk.
- 43:05Speaker 1: Quarter zip guy. We'll talk. Quarter zip guy. You talk
- 43:08Speaker 1: to our boy? No. No, no, no, no, no. I
- 43:12Speaker 1: talk to a different one. One of my boys. Gotcha. Yeah.
- 43:16Speaker 1: Oklahoma fans are very excited. They think they're fixed. Totally fixed?
- 43:20Speaker 1: They think they're fixed.
- 43:21Speaker 2: Wow.
- 43:21Speaker 1: They are excited. They think the keys of the game
- 43:24Speaker 1: here are clearly playing very well on defense. Defense is
- 43:27Speaker 1: going to keep you in every single game. And just
- 43:30Speaker 1: not the circus-style miscues by John Mateer, which is what
- 43:35Speaker 1: John Mateer did in this game. He just didn't have
- 43:37Speaker 1: the go-to-pump fake, ball falls out of his hand, crazy
- 43:41Speaker 1: interceptions backed up. If you can just take care of
- 43:44Speaker 1: the football and handle it, Kentucky, from their defense, their
- 43:47Speaker 1: whole defense scheme is we're not going to get beat
- 43:50Speaker 1: by X-Place. We are going to back up. We're going
- 43:52Speaker 1: to let you have things in front of us. We're
- 43:53Speaker 1: going to keep you in front of us. We're going
- 43:54Speaker 1: to keep the game close because we believe in our
- 43:56Speaker 1: offensive line. We believe in our run game. We believe
- 43:58Speaker 1: in Will Stein and his ability to keep games close
- 44:01Speaker 1: because he's shown early if you're able to do that,
- 44:03Speaker 1: they're going to win the game. Put up the two,
- 44:05Speaker 1: call it a day. So in this game, if Oklahoma
- 44:07Speaker 1: is going to be successful, John Mateer, and this is just,
- 44:10Speaker 1: you know, cheeky, but like take care of the football.
- 44:12Speaker 1: Satania and beers crossing routes over the middle checkdowns, just
- 44:17Speaker 1: death by a thousand cuts. And if Oklahoma can do
- 44:20Speaker 1: that and put points on the board, get into the
- 44:22Speaker 1: red zone and take it, take advantage. That's where they
- 44:24Speaker 1: find their success along with sooner nation, which seems to
- 44:27Speaker 1: be revitalized. All that being said, this is one of
- 44:31Speaker 1: those games I look at in the slate and I'm like,
- 44:33Speaker 1: I have no idea where to go. Cause like Kentucky's defense,
- 44:38Speaker 1: they'll get up like 24 points a game, 28 points
- 44:39Speaker 1: a game, whatever it is. Kenny Minchey, his passing yards,
- 44:44Speaker 1: after the ball is caught, 900 yards. He's throwing for
- 44:47Speaker 1: 1,300 yards. So they're all perimeter, let guys go out there,
- 44:51Speaker 1: make plays, make a guy miss. You're getting seven, you're
- 44:54Speaker 1: getting 10, you're getting 12. But Oklahoma's defense, they're phenomenal
- 44:57Speaker 1: at tackling space. Their defense is top to bottom as
- 45:01Speaker 1: good as it can possibly get. I just sit there
- 45:03Speaker 1: and I wonder. Is it going to be a close game?
- 45:07Speaker 1: Can Kentucky stay as balanced as they have been? I
- 45:10Speaker 1: think if I'm really leaning on it, yes, is my answer.
- 45:14Speaker 1: But I think Oklahoma still wins this game. So I'll
- 45:17Speaker 1: take Kentucky plus six and a half, three units. But
- 45:21Speaker 1: this is one of those, my three unit is really
- 45:23Speaker 1: a one unit. I'm just saying three units because I'm
- 45:25Speaker 1: trying to stay in the game here with a plus
- 45:27Speaker 1: 40 unit guy. Wow. Oh, you're chasing. Consistent though. I'm
- 45:33Speaker 1: a consistent chase. I've revved up the RPMs, but we're
- 45:36Speaker 1: not going any, we're just staying right here at three.
- 45:39Speaker 1: Just trying to hit a double. It's a hard one, right? Yeah,
- 45:44Speaker 1: it is.
- 45:45Speaker 2: Like, I think Oklahoma wins. Dude, they cover six.
- 45:47Speaker 1: And a half points. They ain't fixed. No. Like, that
- 45:51Speaker 1: offense ain't fixed.
- 45:52Speaker 2: Tell you what, John Mateer, that last drive, he had
- 45:54Speaker 2: a couple downfield, and he peppered, what's his name, Sertania?
- 45:58Speaker 1: Sertania.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Yeah, on the sideline, like, that's the John Mateer you
- 46:02Speaker 2: want to see all the time. But the majority of
- 46:04Speaker 2: the game, he's.
- 46:05Speaker 1: On the perimeter with screens and everything else. Like, it's
- 46:08Speaker 1: not fixed.
- 46:09Speaker 2: Now, where I feel like they have that, Like, them
- 46:13Speaker 2: winning the Red River Shootout. That's what said he's on.
- 46:18Speaker 2: That's got to, like to me, it's going to unlock this.
- 46:21Speaker 2: Because you look at their schedule, it's like, who do
- 46:22Speaker 2: they have? They have Kentucky, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Florida.
- 46:25Speaker 2: They can get back fully in this thing. So I
- 46:27Speaker 2: think they're juice inside the locker room now. Like, they
- 46:31Speaker 2: have to win. They have to continue to stack Ws
- 46:34Speaker 2: after taking down the number one team in the country
- 46:37Speaker 2: in the AP Bowl last week in Texas. And they still,
- 46:40Speaker 2: they beat that team without an offense. So I'm going
- 46:43Speaker 2: to take Oklahoma to cover here and I'm only going
- 46:45Speaker 2: to put one unit on it because I'm not confident.
- 46:47Speaker 2: I have no clue. They got a nice block punt
- 46:50Speaker 2: for a touchdown. Their special teams came alive. Defense is,
- 46:53Speaker 2: they are that unit. Um, The same formula they had
- 46:57Speaker 2: last year. We saw it over the weekend against Texas.
- 47:01Speaker 2: Now can they carry this momentum in their next four
- 47:03Speaker 2: weeks coming up with opponents that are very beatable? So
- 47:07Speaker 2: I'm going to go Oklahoma minus six and a half
- 47:09Speaker 2: with one unit. Love Willie Stein.
- 47:10Speaker 1: Love this offense.
- 47:11Speaker 2: Kentucky's defense is basically if they score, whether they don't score,
- 47:15Speaker 2: if the offense scores on us, we just.
- 47:16Speaker 1: Want to get the ball back to our offense. It
- 47:17Speaker 1: doesn't even matter what you guys do to us. Right, right.
- 47:20Speaker 1: The thing that you brought up that I hate when
- 47:22Speaker 1: you do put on the film and you see like
- 47:23Speaker 1: one drive of like John Materno, you're like, yeah, that's
- 47:25Speaker 1: the guy. That's the guy you want. There he is.
- 47:27Speaker 1: You can say the same thing. Like there's a couple
- 47:28Speaker 1: of run plays. You're like, okay, maybe they can run
- 47:30Speaker 1: the ball, but like they can't. And it's like, I,
- 47:32Speaker 1: you want, you want like.
- 47:33Speaker 2: This Kentucky defense is where it can now that that
- 47:36Speaker 2: can fool us this weekend.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Like, Oh, Oklahoma, they have fixed a lot of stuff. Yeah.
- 47:41Speaker 1: Maybe they are back. Maybe they are. Are they back Josh?
- 47:44Speaker 3: I don't know. No, of course not. Oh, Classically, this
- 47:50Speaker 3: is a spot where OU wins by three touchdowns. Kentucky
- 47:55Speaker 3: is off back-to-back, game-winning two-point conversion situations. High, emotionally draining
- 48:02Speaker 3: wins back-to-back. This is classically where you go on the
- 48:05Speaker 3: road and you get dump-trucked. You just fall back to earth.
- 48:10Speaker 3: It's a double-do-down spot in gambling terms.
- 48:13Speaker 1: OU's in 1-2.
- 48:14Speaker 3: Because OU just came off winning the Red River Shootout
- 48:17Speaker 3: in the way they did. And so I don't really
- 48:19Speaker 3: know if that cancels each other out, but it's not
- 48:23Speaker 3: like this lopsided seesaw on the ground towards OU like
- 48:26Speaker 3: it would normally be. The second part is if you're
- 48:30Speaker 3: in that kind of do down spot and you face
- 48:32Speaker 3: a dominant defense, it makes me worry that you just
- 48:35Speaker 3: get completely clamped. It is the most quintessential classic crowbar
- 48:39Speaker 3: theory game that you could possibly have. That's part two.
- 48:42Speaker 3: Part three is... Will Stein and those guys have been
- 48:46Speaker 3: doing stuff they're not supposed to do all year. So
- 48:49Speaker 3: this is just another spot where they could be able
- 48:52Speaker 3: to do something that they haven't done all year. Last time,
- 48:54Speaker 3: I know this doesn't mean as much now, but remember
- 48:56Speaker 3: when they went on the road against A & M?
- 48:58Speaker 3: They didn't go into A & M and like, fight
- 49:01Speaker 3: and just have a chance in the fourth quarter. They
- 49:04Speaker 3: just pulled away and dominated the game. They went to
- 49:07Speaker 3: South Carolina and won. So they've already gone on the
- 49:10Speaker 3: road in the SEC multiple times. This hasn't been just
- 49:12Speaker 3: like home cooking type magic. They've gone on the road.
- 49:16Speaker 3: You asked the most important question. Has Oklahoma figured something out?
- 49:19Speaker 3: Because this time last year, OU got left for dead.
- 49:22Speaker 3: It was a better OU team, but they got left
- 49:24Speaker 3: for dead and they had to go to Neyland and
- 49:26Speaker 3: they had to go to Bryant-Denny Stadium. They had to
- 49:28Speaker 3: go to Tennessee and Alabama. And I didn't think they'd
- 49:30Speaker 3: win either of those games. And they found a way
- 49:32Speaker 3: to win both of those games. And they came back
- 49:34Speaker 3: from the dead. So the question is, do you think
- 49:38Speaker 3: they're about to put together that kind of hard to
- 49:41Speaker 3: kill second half run coming out of the woods type performance?
- 49:45Speaker 3: And I'm still not there, but I wasn't there last year. So,
- 49:48Speaker 3: you know, take comfort in that. I'm going to take
- 49:50Speaker 3: Kentucky plus six and a half. Very low confidence. Seems
- 49:53Speaker 3: like all of us are low confidence on this. I
- 49:55Speaker 3: think if Kentucky can get an early score, that seems
- 49:58Speaker 3: a lot more significant against an offensively challenged team like
- 50:01Speaker 3: OU than it normally would. So I'll take them plus
- 50:04Speaker 3: six and a half for one unit. very little confidence
- 50:07Speaker 3: i think that game is the most unpredictable of all
- 50:10Speaker 3: the games on the board that we're looking at this
- 50:12Speaker 3: week because you could tell me 27 to 3 oh
- 50:17Speaker 3: you and i'd be like man i missed that one
- 50:19Speaker 3: but that's not shocking but you could also tell me
- 50:21Speaker 3: kentucky pulls the upset and i wouldn't have my mind
- 50:24Speaker 3: blown either yeah so this is a really unpredictable game
- 50:26Speaker 3: so i'm going no confidence uh kentucky plus six and
- 50:29Speaker 3: a half one unit.
- 50:29Speaker 1: And like oklahoma like very hard place to play you
- 50:33Speaker 1: a rabid fan base, but New Mexico was in there
- 50:35Speaker 1: week three. 14-6.
- 50:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:38Speaker 1: It was not a very impressive game to see, and
- 50:41Speaker 1: we have to assume that New Mexico doesn't have as
- 50:44Speaker 1: good as players at this point as Kentucky.
- 50:45Speaker 3: Well, don't assume that.
- 50:46Speaker 1: Can't assume that.
- 50:47Speaker 3: It's a good team.
- 50:48Speaker 1: Good ball club over there. 14-6, they'll cover six and
- 50:50Speaker 1: a half. No, it doesn't.
- 50:55Speaker 3: For OU, it does.
- 50:56Speaker 1: For OU, it does. You're right. Yeah, because I got OU.
- 50:59Speaker 1: My bad.
- 50:59Speaker 3: There you go.
- 51:00Speaker 2: Hey. Oh, you just have to have it, man. Even
- 51:04Speaker 2: if you have the emotional win, they have zero time
- 51:09Speaker 2: to afford anything because they just have to, hey, they
- 51:11Speaker 2: got to go.
- 51:12Speaker 1: They got to go, but do they go? Can they go?
- 51:15Speaker 1: That's a four-cylinder right there. A couple balls left.
- 51:19Speaker 3: How bad does Texas look if Kentucky wins this game?
- 51:23Speaker 3: They already look bad. Independent of what happens here, the
- 51:26Speaker 3: way that game ended last week is inexcusably bad.
- 51:29Speaker 2: But what if Dude, I know Arch is getting shit on,
- 51:34Speaker 2: but he had some bombs in that game. He had
- 51:35Speaker 2: three or four downfield that looked.
- 51:37Speaker 3: He did in the Tennessee game too?
- 51:38Speaker 1: He also had a handful of throws that are a
- 51:41Speaker 1: couple of times where those guys are wide open and
- 51:42Speaker 1: he's trying to press it to a random spot. No doubt.
- 51:45Speaker 1: Maybe I'm talking out of turn there. It's so frustrating
- 51:47Speaker 1: because we're all probably massive fans of the Mannings. We
- 51:52Speaker 1: love that family. They've done nothing wrong, but they've only
- 51:54Speaker 1: done good in this country from what I can tell.
- 51:57Speaker 1: I want this kid to be successful. But some of
- 51:59Speaker 1: the things like, bro, how many more weapons do you need?
- 52:04Speaker 2: He can't throw that when he had that pick late
- 52:06Speaker 2: in the game. You can't throw that ball when you're
- 52:08Speaker 2: on the move like that.
- 52:09Speaker 3: No, you could take a knee and put your team
- 52:11Speaker 3: in better positions than what he did. Let me float
- 52:13Speaker 3: this something to you. This would have been very irresponsible
- 52:15Speaker 3: to ask up until right now. I know we're not
- 52:18Speaker 3: breaking down Texas, but just quickly. He is facing a
- 52:22Speaker 3: horrendous secondary this week in Florida. If they don't do anything,
- 52:28Speaker 3: if they don't do much, if they don't succeed through
- 52:29Speaker 3: the air against Florida, I don't think it's irresponsible anymore
- 52:33Speaker 3: to be asking, do we think about making a move here?
- 52:36Speaker 3: I don't think Sark would. He had the whole thing
- 52:40Speaker 3: earlier this week where, well, if his last name wasn't Manning,
- 52:42Speaker 3: people wouldn't be criticizing him. Actually, it's the other way.
- 52:44Speaker 3: I think if his last name wasn't Manning and they
- 52:47Speaker 3: don't rip Florida this week, I think people would already
- 52:51Speaker 3: be talking about KJ Lacey. Let's see what he can do.
- 52:53Speaker 3: And I cannot believe I'm saying that. But that's kind
- 52:56Speaker 3: of where we are right now.
- 52:57Speaker 1: I don't think– I think if they go and they
- 53:01Speaker 1: don't do well against this Florida secondary, the answer for
- 53:04Speaker 1: them is not, oh, let's see what the next quarterback
- 53:07Speaker 1: can do. It's the same thing they did to Quinn Ures.
- 53:10Speaker 1: Or it's like even if Quinn Ures kind of wanted
- 53:11Speaker 1: to stay, they're like, time for you to.
- 53:14Speaker 3: Yeah, but that's next year. I'm talking about next game.
- 53:16Speaker 1: I know, but I just don't– I don't see Sark
- 53:19Speaker 1: doing that. I don't know. It feels very uncomfortable having
- 53:22Speaker 1: this conversation because his last name is Manning. Yeah.
- 53:25Speaker 3: But that's the only reason it feels uncomfortable.
- 53:27Speaker 2: Yeah, you're right.
- 53:28Speaker 3: So he's getting benefit of doubt because of his last name.
- 53:31Speaker 3: He's not getting overly criticized just because of his last name.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Like I thought Sark said that earlier this week and
- 53:36Speaker 3: badly misrepresented the situation. It's actually the antithesis, the exact
- 53:39Speaker 3: opposite of what he said. Now, they could score 45
- 53:42Speaker 3: and it'd be a moot point, which I hope they do.
- 53:44Speaker 3: But you got to remember, this isn't some three-loss Texas team.
- 53:47Speaker 3: They're still in the thick of the playoff race. So
- 53:49Speaker 3: at some point, if you struggle win against Florida, you
- 53:52Speaker 3: got to do what's best for that team.
- 53:55Speaker 1: I know you put the blind stats up on Buston
- 53:57Speaker 1: and Pate last week. And to compare, the answer for
- 53:59Speaker 1: me was, well, John Mateers had fumbles and misuse that
- 54:02Speaker 1: don't show in the stat line. And then we get
- 54:04Speaker 1: to pick six and the fumbles and all the things
- 54:06Speaker 1: that's like, oh, shit. We interrupt this episode to shout
- 54:09Speaker 1: out Jack Daniels. Shout out, no free shout out.
- 54:11Speaker 2: And whether I'm at a tailgate or on the couch
- 54:12Speaker 2: watching Nebraska or Michigan this weekend on Saturday, Jack Daniels
- 54:16Speaker 2: is a staple on my game day roster. You can
- 54:18Speaker 2: expand your playbook with the cinnamon kick of Jack Fire,
- 54:21Speaker 2: the smooth taste of Jack Honey, the crisp and refreshing
- 54:24Speaker 2: Jack Apple, and the only blackberry bursting with Jack. Personally,
- 54:28Speaker 2: your boy is a smooth taste of that Jack Honey.
- 54:31Speaker 2: No matter how you stack your unit, there's a Jack.
- 54:33Speaker 1: For every football fan. Let's get back to the episode. And, Willie,
- 54:36Speaker 1: you've done the best thing that any of us could
- 54:38Speaker 1: have done at this point is be quiet during this conversation.
- 54:41Speaker 2: Well, so I was watching that game yesterday, and it's
- 54:44Speaker 2: like you're looking at both quarterbacks, the blind stats, and
- 54:47Speaker 2: Mateer and Manning against each other in the shootout. Like, dude,
- 54:49Speaker 2: Manning outplayed. I know he had those picks. Manning was
- 54:53Speaker 2: playing some good ball. He was playing some good ball.
- 54:57Speaker 2: Go take a peek-ski. Go take a peek-ski on all
- 54:59Speaker 2: of his attempts. But just watch all of his attempts. Like,
- 55:02Speaker 2: I'm taking Manning over Mateer. based on what he can
- 55:05Speaker 2: do with the football. But there's still so much on there.
- 55:08Speaker 2: There's still so much meat left on the bone of
- 55:11Speaker 2: where this didn't have.
- 55:12Speaker 1: To be a close game. What's the line on this
- 55:13Speaker 1: Florida-Texas game?
- 55:15Speaker 3: Is it 10 and a half or something like that?
- 55:17Speaker 1: 10 and a half. What's your tiny itty-bitty microscopic computer
- 55:26Speaker 1: say about this game?
- 55:27Speaker 3: I think it leans Texas.
- 55:29Speaker 1: I believe it.
- 55:29Speaker 3: But it's also overrated.
- 55:31Speaker 1: It's a Texas spot.
- 55:32Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 55:35Speaker 1: Who? Oh, VB3. VB3.
- 55:43Speaker 3: Buddy, that's interesting. If the formula for beating Florida is
- 55:47Speaker 3: shutting their run game down and it's Texas you're going against,
- 55:50Speaker 3: there's no reason Texas shouldn't win this game running away.
- 55:53Speaker 3: You've got a weak secondary for Florida. You've got a
- 55:56Speaker 3: completely ineffective offense if they can't run it, and no
- 55:59Speaker 3: one runs it really on Texas. Should be a blowout game.
- 56:02Speaker 3: Should be a multi-possession win type of game. That's what
- 56:05Speaker 3: it should be.
- 56:05Speaker 1: I'll have a unit this weekend on Texas. I was
- 56:07Speaker 1: just going to ask, if we were breaking down this game,
- 56:09Speaker 1: is this a game you would slap the table for?
- 56:11Speaker 3: I would go three or four units on Texas, yeah.
- 56:15Speaker 3: I wouldn't quite slap the table because I already did it.
- 56:17Speaker 2: True.
- 56:18Speaker 3: So it's illegal.
- 56:19Speaker 1: Completely fair. That is true, and you're a rule follower.
- 56:21Speaker 2: Yep.
- 56:21Speaker 1: Can we just add this game to our slate and
- 56:25Speaker 1: just say we're going to take Texas here?
- 56:27Speaker 3: That's dangerous.
- 56:28Speaker 1: Can we do that?
- 56:29Speaker 3: That is kind of dangerous. We all just go two units.
- 56:32Speaker 1: Texas minus ten and a half. We all live and
- 56:35Speaker 1: die by the sword together. It really doesn't affect the
- 56:37Speaker 1: standings at all. So we don't need to add it.
- 56:41Speaker 1: It doesn't affect anything. Yeah, but if we win, it
- 56:43Speaker 1: makes our units a little better.
- 56:45Speaker 3: And if we lose, we can say the game was
- 56:46Speaker 3: never added. Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's fun.
- 56:49Speaker 1: This is a win-win situation. Go with your community tab.
- 56:53Speaker 1: I'll put it in my community. Taylor LeVon, community tab, FanDuel.
- 56:55Speaker 1: Check it out. All right. Who are you looking at here?
- 57:03Speaker 1: Jack McPherson. Oh, we got Bama, Tennessee. Alabama at Tennessee.
- 57:07Speaker 1: Both teams rocking their color uniforms. It's going to be fun.
- 57:10Speaker 3: Should have been done a long time ago.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Fall colors. Fall foliage. Foliage. And Knoxville, Tennessee. Very exciting.
- 57:15Speaker 1: Alabama is favored at 8.5 right now. Total points in
- 57:19Speaker 1: that game is 51.5. Is this a situation that we
- 57:25Speaker 1: can kind of just all count to three and say
- 57:26Speaker 1: who we're taking and then talk about it? Uh, no. Okay.
- 57:30Speaker 2: Go ahead, Will.
- 57:31Speaker 1: You have the four. Oh, so we can't.
- 57:36Speaker 3: Are you going to take Tennessee because you need to
- 57:38Speaker 3: hold the pumpkin if you're going to take Tennessee?
- 57:40Speaker 1: I'll hold the pumpkin.
- 57:41Speaker 3: There we go.
- 57:42Speaker 1: Just because I want to hold the pumpkin.
- 57:47Speaker 2: I think we, since that Texas game, we've all kind
- 57:50Speaker 2: of understood that this offensive line is the worst kept
- 57:53Speaker 2: secret in the SEC, that being Tennessee. We saw what
- 57:56Speaker 2: Texas did, and Jack, I'm just going to look at you.
- 57:58Speaker 2: We saw what Texas did to this offensive line. You've
- 58:01Speaker 2: lost your left guard for the entire year. They got
- 58:03Speaker 2: after Faison's ass, what, 10 different times?
- 58:06Speaker 1: They pissed on him. Is Faison going? It hasn't been
- 58:11Speaker 1: announced yet. He practiced yesterday. Either way. He's got to play.
- 58:15Speaker 2: Faison Brandon, he's a work in progress. McIntyre ain't going
- 58:18Speaker 2: to get the job done against Alabama.
- 58:23Speaker 1: DeBoer is 6-0. after Alabama loses at home.
- 58:26Speaker 2: 6-0. This is a good football. This is a top 10,
- 58:30Speaker 2: arguably top five. We could get a rematch in the
- 58:33Speaker 2: SEC championship between Alabama and Georgia. Now, Georgia showed you
- 58:40Speaker 2: how you can beat Alabama.
- 58:41Speaker 1: Just do you have those guys?
- 58:43Speaker 2: It's win on early downs, and it's being able to
- 58:45Speaker 2: get after quarterback. Cruz, I told you that last week.
- 58:48Speaker 2: It's going to be Keylon Russell and that wide receiver group.
- 58:50Speaker 2: Can they get after these first-rounders littered in the secondary
- 58:54Speaker 2: with Georgia? I don't think that can happen. However, Tennessee,
- 58:58Speaker 2: 25 sacks, 12.5% pressure sack rate. That is like top
- 59:03Speaker 2: three in the country. I do think that they can
- 59:05Speaker 2: get after them to where you're kind of keeping.
- 59:11Speaker 1: I don't know bro.
- 59:12Speaker 5: Hey I just I don't know but hey just you
- 59:18Speaker 5: saying that you're doing exactly what we're all feeling yeah
- 59:21Speaker 5: like can Tennessee run the ball.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Get after Keelan Russell a little bit on our early
- 59:29Speaker 2: downs Or even keep him on the sideline. Can they
- 59:32Speaker 2: keep that offense on the sideline because they can run
- 59:33Speaker 2: the ball effectively? Here's where I'm going because it's at Neyland.
- 59:37Speaker 2: And I have a lot of respect for the volunteers.
- 59:38Speaker 2: I have a lot of respect for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
- 59:41Speaker 2: They look damn good. I'm going under on this game.
- 59:43Speaker 2: 51 and a half points. And I'm going to go
- 59:46Speaker 2: three units on that. That's where I'm going. With the pumpkin.
- 59:51Speaker 1: With the pumpkin.
- 59:51Speaker 3: With the pumpkin.
- 59:55Speaker 1: Buddy, like... I like the pass rush ability of Tennessee.
- 1:00:01Speaker 1: Alabama is a damn good football team. And before the
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: Georgia game, I think they were holding opponents to like
- 1:00:05Speaker 1: in the 70s of rush yards per game. Obviously, Georgia,
- 1:00:08Speaker 1: they went for 200 against them. I just don't think
- 1:00:12Speaker 1: Tennessee has the offensive line to put Bishop in a
- 1:00:16Speaker 1: position to rush for 200 yards. I think Keelung is
- 1:00:23Speaker 1: as impressive as a first-year starting quarterback as we've seen
- 1:00:26Speaker 1: in college football this year. And although his stat line
- 1:00:29Speaker 1: wasn't great in this game, and there's a couple of
- 1:00:32Speaker 1: times where he's feeling phantom pressure, he's a damn good quarterback.
- 1:00:37Speaker 1: And I just don't know if Tennessee's going to be
- 1:00:38Speaker 1: able to get that kind of pressure. They can run
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: it a little bit better. Was it Brown had that
- 1:00:46Speaker 1: 58-yard run? Like, other than that, they kind of rushed
- 1:00:49Speaker 1: in the low hundreds. But... I just think Alabama has
- 1:00:54Speaker 1: more weapons. Ryan Coleman Williams, he's out. He's not going
- 1:00:56Speaker 1: to be playing this game, but they still have those
- 1:00:58Speaker 1: three tight ends. Pritchett is sneaky. His little double move
- 1:01:01Speaker 1: he had on that touchdown is impressive. All their tight
- 1:01:05Speaker 1: ends across the board, I'm extremely impressed with. This offensive
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: line is kind of moving a little bit, and they
- 1:01:10Speaker 1: did great against an incredible run defense of Georgia. Your
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: greatest weapons. is that fan base in Neyland. That is
- 1:01:19Speaker 1: the reason why Alabama would not cover because with the
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: injuries to the quarterback, your backup McIntyre, two interceptions and
- 1:01:28Speaker 1: one on the ground fumble. Arkansas? Hey, road win. Road
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: win in the SEC is a road win in the SEC.
- 1:01:35Speaker 1: I know, I know, but Arkansas is sitting there saying, like,
- 1:01:38Speaker 1: we are going to not go to the game. We're
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: going to do a no-show out, is what they were
- 1:01:43Speaker 1: doing a couple weeks ago. And now they're talking about
- 1:01:45Speaker 1: every single loss we have, we're going to storm the
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: field so Arkansas gets a $ 250, 000 fine until they fire,
- 1:01:51Speaker 1: I don't know if it's the head coach or the
- 1:01:52Speaker 1: AD or whoever it is. Like, it's just not good
- 1:01:56Speaker 1: in Arkansas right now. Arkansas played man against you guys
- 1:02:00Speaker 1: a bunch and basically said, we dare you. That fucking
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: tickles coming back in my throat right now.
- 1:02:05Speaker 3: Finish.
- 1:02:08Speaker 1: They're saying we dare you to throw the ball against us.
- 1:02:09Speaker 1: You guys couldn't throw the ball against them. Alabama, they're
- 1:02:12Speaker 1: susceptible in the secondary. Two explosive plays. You guys have
- 1:02:16Speaker 1: the horses at wide receiver to get those explosive plays
- 1:02:20Speaker 1: to happen. I just don't believe you have the quarterback
- 1:02:22Speaker 1: to do it because even if Faison does play, he's
- 1:02:25Speaker 1: a wounded animal and not in a good way. I
- 1:02:28Speaker 1: hate it because this is the second time I'm going
- 1:02:31Speaker 1: against Tennessee. And I hate that for you. And I
- 1:02:38Speaker 1: hate that for our friendship. And I hate that... I'm
- 1:02:42Speaker 1: going Alabama minus eight and a half. I hate that.
- 1:02:45Speaker 3: Right in front of the pumpkin.
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: In front of the pumpkin. And it literally, it hurt
- 1:02:49Speaker 1: me so bad that my tickle's gone now. So I
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: hate that. Jack's ready for war. I know that. He
- 1:02:59Speaker 1: knows it's an uphill battle.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Are you going to this game?
- 1:03:01Speaker 1: I won't be at the game. Well, there's 10 units.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: If you're not going to have Jack McPherson at the game.
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: Like you are, you're an incredible fan. You do like
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to tread on fandom, but you're an incredible fan. And
- 1:03:15Speaker 1: they need you in New England this weekend. They got
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: me a ticket, I'll be there.
- 1:03:19Speaker 2: Look, man, run the ball, limit explosive plays. You do that,
- 1:03:24Speaker 2: you're going to have a shot because you guys have
- 1:03:26Speaker 2: the pattern.
- 1:03:27Speaker 1: You know that.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: I'm not telling you anything you don't know. That's what
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: you're looking for. You can't let the explosives beat you,
- 1:03:31Speaker 2: and you just got to be able to run the football.
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: And I hate that number five kid. punching that Georgia
- 1:03:38Speaker 1: player in the face, essentially putting them in the position
- 1:03:41Speaker 1: to where Georgia can just knee it. And there's been
- 1:03:43Speaker 1: like 10 guys on Alabama's team that's like, we stand
- 1:03:46Speaker 1: with five, 10 toes down for five. This team is
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: kind of dialed. Josh, give them some hope.
- 1:03:53Speaker 3: It's just a knife in the neck. I don't think
- 1:03:55Speaker 3: they're going to be– I don't think– if you can
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: keep a close game, I trust you to be able
- 1:03:59Speaker 3: to run the ball. I mean, I trust Bishop to
- 1:04:01Speaker 3: be able to run for 150-plus against Alabama. The problem
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: is if they get a lead on you. and they
- 1:04:06Speaker 3: start stretching the game, you've got to throw to get
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: back in the game. If Bama, and I think this
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: will happen, if Bama ends up putting Tennessee in a
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: position where they've got to trade points, I just don't
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: trust them at quarterback to be able to trade points.
- 1:04:18Speaker 3: They're pretty good at receiver. I trust Mike Matthews. And
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: wide receiver ones have given Alabama's secondary a little bit
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: of trouble. Red zone numbers here. Bama's 27 of 27
- 1:04:28Speaker 3: in the red zone. They have scored 23 touchdowns down there.
- 1:04:32Speaker 3: So when they get down there, typically they've been scoring.
- 1:04:35Speaker 3: Tennessee's only been in the red zone 18 times, and
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: 14 of those were touchdowns, so 17 of 18. They've
- 1:04:42Speaker 3: got to create more scoring opportunities. You can't count on
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: 20 points winning the game. You can't count on 24
- 1:04:48Speaker 3: points winning the game, maybe 24 covers, but I'm not
- 1:04:51Speaker 3: sure it wins. You'll find out a lot about Alabama here.
- 1:04:54Speaker 3: Coming out of the Georgia-Bama game, I don't know how
- 1:04:57Speaker 3: you two felt, but I saw a lot of people
- 1:04:58Speaker 3: out there say, I think Georgia's the best team in
- 1:05:00Speaker 3: the country. Hey man, I think Alabama may be right
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: there with them. Second, third best team in the country.
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: So I don't doubt that about Georgia. I still think
- 1:05:07Speaker 3: you kind of got to find that out about Alabama.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: You're not going to get run on for over 200
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: yards by a third string tailback, albeit a really good one.
- 1:05:14Speaker 3: You're not going to get sliced like that on third
- 1:05:16Speaker 3: down at home and have me say, oh yeah, man,
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: you're the slam dunk number two team in the country.
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: There's still a little bit of proof to me from Alabama.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: You got a quarterback that is insanely talented, but he's
- 1:05:27Speaker 3: been sacked second most times of any quarterback in the SEC.
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: You're probably without your starting center this week against Xavier Gilliam, who,
- 1:05:35Speaker 3: I mean, I heard Kubrick talking the other day about
- 1:05:37Speaker 3: all the love Colin Simmons gets and whatnot. Gilliam's probably
- 1:05:40Speaker 3: the best defensive player in the SEC right now. So, like,
- 1:05:42Speaker 3: there are a lot of reasons you could lean Tennessee.
- 1:05:44Speaker 3: I didn't even mention home field. I didn't even mention
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: what's happened the last two times this game's happened in
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: that building. That's all the more reason to be razor
- 1:05:51Speaker 3: focused and make sure you grab a lead, make sure
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: they have to trade points, because eventually if Tennessee has
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: to trade points, they're going to turn the ball over.
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: So I think I'll take Alabama minus eight and a half.
- 1:06:01Speaker 3: Two units. Not a massive confidence game, but yeah, I
- 1:06:04Speaker 3: think they'll win in cover. Two units.
- 1:06:08Speaker 1: God, I hated that one.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:06:10Speaker 1: I hated having to do that.
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: I was so ready to take that pumpkin if I
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: was going to take Tennessee though.
- 1:06:15Speaker 1: And shout out Gilliam.
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: What a player, man.
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: Dude, yeah.
- 1:06:19Speaker 2: Even that Texas game, that was the dude showing up
- 1:06:21Speaker 2: play after play in the backfield.
- 1:06:24Speaker 1: Gravely game of the week. So we're busting the pay
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: on campus will be this week in Bloomington, Indiana. Ohio State, Indiana.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: Ohio State's favorite minus three and a half. Total points
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: that game is 50 and a half right now. Where
- 1:06:37Speaker 1: I kind of sit is like, Indiana's kind of, have
- 1:06:41Speaker 1: they earned the right for us to just kind of
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: like bet on them until they prove us wrong? Or
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: did Nebraska show a lot of holes that Indiana has.
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: Because up until that game, Turbo Richards, like, he was
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: rushing for 143 yards a game. You guys held him to, what, 40?
- 1:06:57Speaker 1: 40 yards? Less than that? Right? Completely took away their
- 1:07:01Speaker 1: run game. You've already talked about the explosives. Matt Patricia,
- 1:07:06Speaker 1: you have to assume, is, like, probably not going to
- 1:07:08Speaker 1: have you guys giving up explosives. Like, especially a quick
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: RPO slant to Nick Marsh or a fourth and one that,
- 1:07:17Speaker 1: I don't know what Nebraska was doing in that situation.
- 1:07:20Speaker 1: Does Ohio State do that?
- 1:07:22Speaker 2: No.
- 1:07:23Speaker 3: I'll go ahead and tell you, no.
- 1:07:25Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:07:26Speaker 2: A lot of it, too, is predicated on who were
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: making those right decisions. Defensively, you have to be so
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: uniformed and so focused on what your job is that
- 1:07:34Speaker 2: play to where you don't let Becker and Marsh, they
- 1:07:37Speaker 2: are unreal at receiver.
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: Hoover hasn't turned the ball over. I've said he's a
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: turnover waiting to happen.
- 1:07:44Speaker 2: I felt like even some of the balls he was
- 1:07:45Speaker 2: throwing that windy Nebraska game.
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: Like it was going to come up for us. It didn't.
- 1:07:51Speaker 2: I think Ohio State's going to be able to stop
- 1:07:53Speaker 2: the run here, kind of do the same thing. But again,
- 1:07:55Speaker 2: it comes down to are the guys on the outside,
- 1:07:57Speaker 2: do they have, you know, what is the plan.
- 1:08:01Speaker 1: When you got those guys on the edge?
- 1:08:02Speaker 2: Because I feel like those receivers are still going to
- 1:08:05Speaker 2: find a way to get theirs. And I feel like Hoover,
- 1:08:07Speaker 2: he's played well enough to where he's going to make
- 1:08:09Speaker 2: those right reads. When they come up, Ohio State, it's
- 1:08:14Speaker 2: this Indiana. I'm assuming that they're going to have a
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: plan for Jeremiah Smith, but every team has had a plan.
- 1:08:21Speaker 2: To stop Jeremiah Smith, just nobody has been able to
- 1:08:24Speaker 2: do it. I do think Indiana secondary is a little
- 1:08:27Speaker 2: pedestrian to where it's like, how are you going to
- 1:08:30Speaker 2: between the run game? Because Arthur Smith loves to just
- 1:08:33Speaker 2: jam it down your throat over and over. And then
- 1:08:35Speaker 2: you're just going to have Jeremiah Smith downfield up top.
- 1:08:38Speaker 2: It's if this becomes a fourth quarter game. Who do
- 1:08:41Speaker 2: you trust more in the fourth quarter? We saw what
- 1:08:44Speaker 2: Indiana did last week against Nebraska. We saw what Ohio
- 1:08:47Speaker 2: State did in week whatever that was, week two or
- 1:08:51Speaker 2: three against Texas. I would trust Indiana more if this
- 1:08:54Speaker 2: becomes a fourth quarter game. I mean, I don't I
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: don't know.
- 1:08:59Speaker 1: I don't know this is one of those games because.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I'm in I'm in Husker land You know what I mean?
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: To me, it's all about the response Nebraska has going
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: out to Oregon. If Nebraska is that tough of a
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: football team or if it was just a spot where
- 1:09:14Speaker 2: Indiana subtly overlooked the Huskers going into Lincoln. Because if
- 1:09:20Speaker 2: it's what we witnessed on Saturday, I love Ohio State.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: But if it's one of those spots where Indiana, like
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: Cignetti was saying in the post-game presser, it just took
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: It took everybody. It still hasn't hit them that they
- 1:09:32Speaker 2: won that game. It took scratch and claw. It has
- 1:09:36Speaker 2: a lot of good value because they got out of
- 1:09:37Speaker 2: there with a win off of four explosive plays. Now
- 1:09:40Speaker 2: they come alive and they're Indiana. I have no clue.
- 1:09:45Speaker 2: I'm going to go two units. I'm just going to
- 1:09:46Speaker 2: take Ohio State to cover three and a half. If
- 1:09:50Speaker 2: this is a fourth quarter game, you're going to have
- 1:09:52Speaker 2: to feel good if you're an Indiana fan. I would
- 1:09:55Speaker 2: like Indiana a lot more in that spot.
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: The thing that It's interesting, but the games at Indiana
- 1:10:01Speaker 1: clearly struggled. Northwestern and Nebraska. Both those quarterbacks were very
- 1:10:07Speaker 1: mobile quarterbacks, able to run around and extend plays with
- 1:10:10Speaker 1: their legs. Julian Sane is not that cat. And I
- 1:10:14Speaker 1: love to think at some point there's going to be
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: a plan for Jeremiah Smith to at least not... You'll
- 1:10:21Speaker 1: never stop him, but contain him in a certain sense.
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: Because David McEwen, he's the next guy in receptions and yards,
- 1:10:28Speaker 1: but it's like, I think, I don't know how many yards.
- 1:10:31Speaker 3: 245.
- 1:10:32Speaker 1: He's got 245 and 17 receptions, but I'm thinking about
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: Jeremiah Smith. He's got, what, 44 receptions and over 800.
- 1:10:38Speaker 1: So there's a huge drop-off. if I'm just blindly looking
- 1:10:42Speaker 1: at stats and I'm like, okay, I think I can
- 1:10:44Speaker 1: stop one player, but on Indiana side, they got Becker
- 1:10:47Speaker 1: and Marsh where it's like, that's more difficult to game
- 1:10:50Speaker 1: plan against because you have two guys that can take
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: the top off, two guys that run really good routes
- 1:10:54Speaker 1: and a quarterback that's taking care.
- 1:10:55Speaker 3: Of the football at home.
- 1:10:57Speaker 1: So with San being more of a statue in the backfield,
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: love Arthur Smith's run game. We were in the group
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: chat with him, the plays they've been running and how
- 1:11:07Speaker 1: they've been doing it. Like, To me, that is the
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: perfect style of run you should have because you get
- 1:11:11Speaker 1: people going east and west, then you hit them down
- 1:11:12Speaker 1: the middle with duo and tight zone. I could definitely
- 1:11:17Speaker 1: see Ohio State walking away with this W. I'm going
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: to take Indiana with the points at home and Cignetti.
- 1:11:22Speaker 1: I'm kind of in this process now where Indiana's won
- 1:11:25Speaker 1: so much. and done it in so many different ways
- 1:11:28Speaker 1: that I have to give them the benefit of the
- 1:11:31Speaker 1: doubt to this point. And if I'm wrong, I'm wrong,
- 1:11:34Speaker 1: but he's kind of like earned it in my opinion.
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: Like was it 22 games in a row they've won?
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: So for me, it's I'll take the points plus three
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: and a half Indiana at home. I put three units
- 1:11:47Speaker 1: on it because three is my new one this week.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: And that's how I feel. A question for the group
- 1:11:53Speaker 1: or for anyone watching. Why do people think Indiana has
- 1:11:57Speaker 1: to limit Jeremiah Smith? Why do they think limiting or
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: shutting down Jeremiah Smith is some prerequisite to Indiana winning
- 1:12:05Speaker 1: this game? I don't understand your question fully.
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: Well, Big Ten Championship game last year.
- 1:12:11Speaker 1: Jeremiah Smith, yeah, Jeremiah Smith last year was still balling.
- 1:12:15Speaker 3: Dude went eight catches for 144. Ohio State scored 10 points.
- 1:12:20Speaker 3: So what if I just don't even worry about that? Yeah,
- 1:12:23Speaker 3: you can't let him go off for 250 and four scores.
- 1:12:25Speaker 3: That's a different thing. But I don't even waste time saying, man,
- 1:12:29Speaker 3: what are they going to do about Jeremiah Smith? What
- 1:12:31Speaker 3: they're going to do is fight hard to contain him.
- 1:12:34Speaker 3: He's going to get his anyway because he'll get it
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: against anyone. And then you've got to figure out how
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: to win the game anyway. And the way you figure
- 1:12:39Speaker 3: out how to win the game is, number one, you've
- 1:12:41Speaker 3: got to have a lot more rushing success than you
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: did against Nebraska. Like Indiana– has the number 19 rushing
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: outfit right now. But you watched them last week. That
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: was very, very tough sledding. This Ohio State defensive front,
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: the thing about Ohio State, which I think is the
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: best team in the country right now from a power
- 1:12:59Speaker 3: ratings perspective, they've got an elite wide receiver. Offensive line,
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: would you call that group elite defensive? so they're good
- 1:13:08Speaker 3: there's a lot of there's a lot of really they're
- 1:13:09Speaker 3: a great outfit there's a lot of really good yeah
- 1:13:11Speaker 3: defensive front a lot of really good pass rush kenyatta
- 1:13:14Speaker 3: jackson's been been pretty good but like there's not look
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: at that elite unit so you just got to get
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: it done against them also i think we may be
- 1:13:22Speaker 3: undervaluing what home field is going to be for indiana
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: here everyone's talking about it with brigham young this is
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: the biggest game in the history of this place So
- 1:13:31Speaker 3: think about how on fire it's going to be. Not
- 1:13:33Speaker 3: that Ohio State hasn't had to go into places like
- 1:13:35Speaker 3: that before. They just went into Iowa a couple of
- 1:13:37Speaker 3: weeks ago and slammed the door on them. And I'm
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: sure that place was pretty lively. But the first thing
- 1:13:42Speaker 3: is you've got to be able to run the ball.
- 1:13:43Speaker 3: And number two, with those receivers, like it was very misleading.
- 1:13:48Speaker 3: Hoover's stat line was very misleading last week because there
- 1:13:50Speaker 3: were a couple of X plays that really fattened up
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: his total passing yardage. I think they just got to
- 1:13:55Speaker 3: put more on his plate and trust him. Like he
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: was turnover prone at TCU and he hasn't turned the
- 1:14:00Speaker 3: ball over yet and everyone keeps waiting on it. But
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: Indiana does not strike me as the kind of outfit
- 1:14:05Speaker 3: that coaches scared or that like game plans from a,
- 1:14:09Speaker 3: like a trepidatious standpoint. You got the players, you got
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: to trust them to make plays. Now, if you're going
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: to hold Ohio state to 10, forget about what I
- 1:14:16Speaker 3: just said. You could scratch out 13 points again. I
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: just don't think you can count on that. But at
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: the same time, Julian saying not mobile, not nearly the
- 1:14:23Speaker 3: mobile threat that Northwestern was or the Calandria was at Nebraska.
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: I'm just not picking against them until they lose. So
- 1:14:29Speaker 3: I'll take Nebraska or I'll take a... Yes, sir. I
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: did and I won. I'll take Indiana plus three and
- 1:14:35Speaker 3: a half for three units.
- 1:14:37Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:14:38Speaker 3: Three units.
- 1:14:39Speaker 1: I feel better about my vet now. Because this is
- 1:14:41Speaker 1: another one. Really, Alabama, Tennessee was the only one I
- 1:14:43Speaker 1: was like, I feel really that in BYU and Notre
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: Dame until you went to the under. That I felt
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: really good about.
- 1:14:50Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:14:50Speaker 1: It is going to be interesting, man. How do they
- 1:14:52Speaker 1: get more people involved in the passing game? Because, yeah,
- 1:14:57Speaker 1: 180 is limiting Jeremiah Smith, which is nuts.
- 1:15:00Speaker 3: Here's what I wonder. You went and watched back the
- 1:15:02Speaker 3: whole Nebraska-Indiana game, right? Okay, how much meat was left
- 1:15:07Speaker 3: on the bone from a passing perspective for Indiana? Or
- 1:15:12Speaker 3: did they pretty well get clamped down on?
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: There were a few.
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: I thought you were going to ask how much more
- 1:15:18Speaker 2: meat was on the bone for Nebraska's passing offense because
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: there was a lot of meat left on the bone
- 1:15:22Speaker 2: for Nebraska's passing offense.
- 1:15:23Speaker 1: Let's talk about it.
- 1:15:25Speaker 2: They're so predicated on running the ball in the RPO scheme.
- 1:15:29Speaker 2: For the most part, it's like you look at Andrew
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Marshall on the other side. There was one that Hoover missed.
- 1:15:34Speaker 2: So to your point, they could have had another explosive
- 1:15:37Speaker 2: that would have went for 99 to Marsh that Hoover
- 1:15:41Speaker 2: just missed and overthrew because he had 22 and a
- 1:15:44Speaker 2: blender on the double move. So a little bit, but
- 1:15:49Speaker 2: it's so much off of the RPO versus, to your point,
- 1:15:52Speaker 2: like trusting him, dropping back and throwing. I just feel
- 1:15:55Speaker 2: like Indiana's identity is being able to run the football
- 1:15:57Speaker 2: and then taking advantage of matchups.
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: Once you know you're running the ball successfully, they're stacking the.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Box the right way, and you just catch a corner
- 1:16:04Speaker 2: or somebody just sitting on their heels to where you
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: have the back shoulder. You have all things, the go ball,
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: the slant, everything in between. That's what they're predicated on.
- 1:16:13Speaker 1: So there is meat on the bone?
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Yeah. There's one explosive that I'm thinking about that Hoover
- 1:16:18Speaker 2: overthrew that would have went for seven.
- 1:16:20Speaker 1: Mm-hmm.
- 1:16:21Speaker 2: That's coming to top of mind. I'm sure that there
- 1:16:23Speaker 2: might be a couple others, but for the most part,
- 1:16:25Speaker 2: like Nebraska defensively played their ass off.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: You just remember this Ohio State team last couple of
- 1:16:29Speaker 3: years against Indiana, against Miami. Like there have been a
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: couple of instances where teams have just taken it to
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: them physically and they didn't answer the bell. And like
- 1:16:41Speaker 3: they pride themselves on being able to do that.
- 1:16:43Speaker 1: I know.
- 1:16:43Speaker 3: But this is one where you got to take it
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: to him physically. You've got all those defensive guys back.
- 1:16:49Speaker 3: Stephen Daly, for example, is back. That's such a huge deal.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: The moment you see the headline, Stephen Daly's eligible to
- 1:16:54Speaker 3: play again this year for Indiana, you think about games
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: like this, and you think about his ability to take
- 1:17:00Speaker 3: over and wreck from the interior, and you don't have
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: a cat that can just spill out and gain 15
- 1:17:05Speaker 3: yards in a first down like some of the other
- 1:17:07Speaker 3: quarterbacks that they've faced so far that Indiana's faced. So
- 1:17:10Speaker 3: I'm going to take them plus the points.
- 1:17:15Speaker 1: Three innings.
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: Yep, three units.
- 1:17:16Speaker 1: All right. Super slate. Super slate bonus games. Who would
- 1:17:23Speaker 1: like to go first?
- 1:17:25Speaker 2: Super slate bonus. I'm going to talk about Oklahoma State Houston.
- 1:17:30Speaker 2: Here's what I want to say off the top. Connor Wegman,
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: good ball player.
- 1:17:34Speaker 1: Great ball player.
- 1:17:35Speaker 2: I had some things to say about him last week.
- 1:17:37Speaker 2: Good ball player. 21 combined TDs. That's second in the FBS.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: The only He's the only quarterback with 15 passing touchdowns
- 1:17:44Speaker 2: and five rushing touchdowns.
- 1:17:45Speaker 1: Good ball player.
- 1:17:46Speaker 2: Second hottest quarterback in the Big 12. The hottest quarterback
- 1:17:49Speaker 2: in the Big 12 is Drew Master Maker. He's had, what,
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: over 300 yards and two touchdowns the last three games.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: This offense is averaging over 500 in totality over their
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: last four. This is a great game. If this was
- 1:18:03Speaker 2: in Stillwater, part of me believes that Boston paid on
- 1:18:06Speaker 2: campus might be in Stillwater. Because this is a sneaky
- 1:18:10Speaker 2: game of the week right here. I'm taking Okie State
- 1:18:12Speaker 2: plus four and a half against Houston. Wouldn't be surprised
- 1:18:17Speaker 2: if Houston wins by a field goal. But I'm taking
- 1:18:19Speaker 2: Okie State with the points. I love Mastermaker. I love
- 1:18:21Speaker 2: that offense. I think they keep it rolling on Houston.
- 1:18:24Speaker 2: It's all about third down. Like Connor Wegman. They're the
- 1:18:27Speaker 2: number one team in the country on third down conversion rate.
- 1:18:31Speaker 2: If Okie State just gets a couple stops or they
- 1:18:33Speaker 2: get him to turn the ball over, this will be
- 1:18:36Speaker 2: Okie State because Drew Messamaker is that dude. That offense
- 1:18:39Speaker 2: is nice. So it's all going to be predicated on
- 1:18:41Speaker 2: third down this game.
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: FanDuel, by the way, available in Texas, Yeah in Florida
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: in Georgia So if you're at.
- 1:18:51Speaker 1: Home watching you're in Texas, Florida and Georgia just know
- 1:18:53Speaker 1: that FanDuel is now available.
- 1:18:54Speaker 2: Hmm get in on the action pick against us against
- 1:18:56Speaker 2: the spread that's free and you can get yourself a
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: profit boost token If you beat one of.
- 1:19:00Speaker 1: Us, yeah, which has shown it's not that difficult to do. Yeah,
- 1:19:03Speaker 1: usually if you get that six out of ten mark, right?
- 1:19:06Speaker 1: You're getting a proper boost.
- 1:19:07Speaker 2: Yeah. And while you're at it, if you're watching, make
- 1:19:09Speaker 2: sure you are subscribed to the channel as you're watching.
- 1:19:11Speaker 1: I'm going to quickly go over. I got two super slates.
- 1:19:14Speaker 1: I'm going to quickly go over them both. All right.
- 1:19:16Speaker 1: Mississippi State at LSU. LSU's having their worst start since 2023.
- 1:19:19Speaker 1: A lot of people are off the kipping train right now.
- 1:19:22Speaker 1: This is a must-win situation for LSU, for Blake Baker
- 1:19:26Speaker 1: and that defense. If Kamario Taylor plays... I like Mississippi
- 1:19:31Speaker 1: State covering these points because with as much as LSU blitzes,
- 1:19:35Speaker 1: there's a lot of holes in that zone defense. I
- 1:19:37Speaker 1: don't believe that Kamario Taylor is going to play. And
- 1:19:40Speaker 1: for that reason, this is a massive get-right spot for LSU.
- 1:19:43Speaker 1: Love the storyline of Mississippi State so far. However, a
- 1:19:47Speaker 1: lot of that revolves around Kamario Taylor. All of it
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: technically revolves around Kamario Taylor. Without him, I like LSU.
- 1:19:52Speaker 1: I don't care what time the game is at LSU.
- 1:19:54Speaker 2: If they don't got Kamario Taylor, it's a wrap.
- 1:19:56Speaker 1: It's going to be a bloodbath. That game....
- 1:19:59Speaker 3: It's probably going to be without Kamario Taylor. I think
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: LSU will run away with it. That's not why I
- 1:20:02Speaker 3: pointed at you. I can't wait to hear what you
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: say about the other game that you have on the
- 1:20:09Speaker 3: tip of your tongue, because you said you have two.
- 1:20:11Speaker 1: Yeah, you're talking about the number one logo game of
- 1:20:13Speaker 1: the week, Penn State and Michigan.
- 1:20:16Speaker 3: Do we have a network for that one yet?
- 1:20:18Speaker 1: Yeah, I think the Food Channel picked it up. I
- 1:20:21Speaker 1: think the Food Channel picked this game up. This game
- 1:20:23Speaker 1: is a game that... This is where busting a paint
- 1:20:26Speaker 1: on campus should be this week. I mean, this should
- 1:20:29Speaker 1: be two teams early in the year being like, winner
- 1:20:32Speaker 1: of this game, puts themselves in the college football playoff,
- 1:20:36Speaker 1: regardless of what happens after this. Obviously, just in the corner,
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: he's sad boy over there. I'm sad boy for Michigan.
- 1:20:42Speaker 1: Just lost to Minnesota and it has a bye week
- 1:20:44Speaker 1: and then we have text messages leaking everywhere.
- 1:20:47Speaker 2: You'd almost be in a good spot knowing that Michigan's
- 1:20:49Speaker 2: on a bye week, but then you got to go
- 1:20:50Speaker 2: from getting whooped by Minnesota, the whole blood thing, sprinting in,
- 1:20:55Speaker 2: diving on his team, to then watch Minnesota go out
- 1:20:58Speaker 2: and get their shit pushed in by a team.
- 1:21:00Speaker 1: Like the Purdue Boilermakers.
- 1:21:02Speaker 3: Just thrown in a wood chipper.
- 1:21:03Speaker 1: Yeah, like maybe Minnesota is good. Nope, you just got
- 1:21:06Speaker 1: killed by Purdue. Yeah, that... I really appreciate you bringing
- 1:21:10Speaker 1: that up and resurfacing. It's almost like when Minnesota beat
- 1:21:14Speaker 1: the shit out of Nebraska, and you think, oh shit,
- 1:21:16Speaker 1: Minnesota's really good, and then they get their shit pushed
- 1:21:18Speaker 1: in the week after that. That's why I like Michigan
- 1:21:20Speaker 1: minus 6.5. Wounded animals.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: Double wounded animals.
- 1:21:26Speaker 1: What is going to happen with Campbell? I don't know.
- 1:21:28Speaker 1: We got totals in this game. I don't know who's
- 1:21:30Speaker 1: circling it right now, but 42.5. To hell with it.
- 1:21:34Speaker 1: To hell with the totals in this game. At some point, dude,
- 1:21:38Speaker 1: we have to figure out who Bryce Underwood is. I
- 1:21:41Speaker 1: had a thing about end of the fray, Oklahoma, they
- 1:21:43Speaker 1: win that game. I'm like, oh my God, we've learned
- 1:21:46Speaker 1: everything we need to learn about Michigan. Turns out, you
- 1:21:50Speaker 1: always got to keep learning no matter what. Okay? And
- 1:21:52Speaker 1: what I've learned is, lost against Iowa, I absolutely love
- 1:21:56Speaker 1: this team, almost 500 yards offense. Lost against Minnesota, I
- 1:22:00Speaker 1: got a gun in my mouth. So there's two different,
- 1:22:02Speaker 1: the tale of two cities taking place with LeJuan. They
- 1:22:05Speaker 1: go into the bye week. Whittingham goes, we're not meeting
- 1:22:09Speaker 1: our standard. We're not handling business the way we are.
- 1:22:11Speaker 1: There's a lot that has to change. We have to
- 1:22:13Speaker 1: get a lot done. A whole week of practice goes by.
- 1:22:16Speaker 1: It's quiet in Ann Arbor. No one said a whole
- 1:22:18Speaker 1: lot of words. Monday coming up, Kyle Whittingham steps on
- 1:22:21Speaker 1: the podium and they go, coach, you broke it down.
- 1:22:25Speaker 1: What changes? That rhino position you guys are running a
- 1:22:27Speaker 1: lot with the extra offensive lineman might hurt you in
- 1:22:29Speaker 1: the pass game a little bit. You're going to change that?
- 1:22:32Speaker 1: We're not going to change that.
- 1:22:33Speaker 2: No.
- 1:22:34Speaker 1: No doubt. But Tommy Carr, he's come in. Every time
- 1:22:37Speaker 1: he's had a couple of snaps, he looks pretty nice, right?
- 1:22:39Speaker 1: That deep ball he had to that freshman wide receiver,
- 1:22:42Speaker 1: Celeste Moa. Maybe get him some more snaps, huh? We're
- 1:22:46Speaker 1: going to roll with Bryce Underwood, actually, is what we're doing. Ah, yes.
- 1:22:49Speaker 1: But Beck, his play calling has been phenomenal. They're going
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: a little too much east to west. We're going to
- 1:22:54Speaker 1: change it up a little bit and go downhill, right? No.
- 1:22:58Speaker 1: We've got to write where they want them. The only
- 1:23:00Speaker 1: thing that matters is the turnovers and the penalties. That's
- 1:23:02Speaker 1: the only thing that matters. Who cares if we're not
- 1:23:05Speaker 1: efficient in the run game? But I believe in the
- 1:23:10Speaker 1: maize and blue. I believe in the wing helmet. I
- 1:23:12Speaker 1: hate the fact that this is six and a half.
- 1:23:13Speaker 1: I love the logos in this game, huh? I love
- 1:23:17Speaker 1: the logos in this game. Michigan's going to run it
- 1:23:21Speaker 1: down their throat, dude, in and out of Michigan. Bryce Underwood,
- 1:23:23Speaker 1: I'm talking about three TDs. All of a sudden, he's
- 1:23:26Speaker 1: going to be able to dissect the defense. It's out there.
- 1:23:28Speaker 1: It's out there for the taking. All of a sudden.
- 1:23:30Speaker 1: All of a sudden. Someone's got to click for a
- 1:23:32Speaker 1: young lad eventually, right? Maybe somebody's been in his headset
- 1:23:34Speaker 1: too much saying, you have to go to this guy
- 1:23:36Speaker 1: right away or that guy right away. And he doesn't
- 1:23:38Speaker 1: even break down the defense. We're going Michigan.
- 1:23:43Speaker 3: One unit.
- 1:23:44Speaker 1: Minus six and a half, by the way. I'm doing
- 1:23:46Speaker 1: the one unit on LSU as well, plus 14F. So
- 1:23:49Speaker 1: I guess I have multiple games this week. Do I
- 1:23:51Speaker 1: feel good about it? No. But something's got to give eventually,
- 1:23:57Speaker 1: you know? Yeah. Something's got to give. Whittingham's got to
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: be the guy. Because I just talked about Dan Lanning
- 1:24:04Speaker 1: and what I would do if he was in Michigan,
- 1:24:06Speaker 1: what I would do to our bus. I want that
- 1:24:09Speaker 1: feeling about Kyle Whittingham. What does your computer say?
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: You've seen Independence Day, the movie?
- 1:24:17Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, I've seen it.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: You know when the aliens have already invaded and the U.S.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: government is trying to figure out a way to destroy
- 1:24:24Speaker 3: the aliens, and they go to the last resort. They
- 1:24:27Speaker 3: break glass, press this button in case of last resort,
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: and they press it. And they launch nuclear weapons against
- 1:24:34Speaker 3: the spaceship. Yeah. The nuclear weapons go off. There's chaos
- 1:24:38Speaker 3: and carnage and smoke and everyone's celebrating and someone's over
- 1:24:42Speaker 3: in the corner saying, can we get confirmation? Target has
- 1:24:44Speaker 3: been destroyed. And then the smoke clears and it's like,
- 1:24:49Speaker 3: Target remains. I feel like that's Michigan. I feel like
- 1:24:54Speaker 3: you're trying to make the changes. You're hoping for Bryce
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: Underwood to turn the corner. You'll win the game. You
- 1:24:59Speaker 3: win the game before I finish this statement.
- 1:25:00Speaker 1: Okay, good. Thank God.
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: Because you were looking at me in a very, very
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: vulnerable state right now.
- 1:25:05Speaker 1: I feel like a little boy.
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: I feel like a little boy just now. I'm going
- 1:25:07Speaker 3: to get you some presents for Christmas. Yeah, there'll be
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: something under the tree. It's just not going to be
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: a good quarterback. What if he's just not good? What
- 1:25:17Speaker 3: if he's just not good? Look, statement you made. We
- 1:25:21Speaker 3: keep waiting to figure out who Bryce Underwood is.
- 1:25:24Speaker 1: What if we know? What if he's just not good?
- 1:25:27Speaker 1: We don't know yet.
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: Whittingham in that interview, too, where he's like, oh, you
- 1:25:32Speaker 2: look at Beck, his history, his track record, like, he's good.
- 1:25:36Speaker 1: He's a good OC. Like, there's a lot of reads
- 1:25:38Speaker 1: that we got to make correctly.
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: It's not our fault.
- 1:25:40Speaker 1: It's not our fault. It's not us. The quarterback in there,
- 1:25:43Speaker 1: he makes the right read. This is a damn good offense.
- 1:25:45Speaker 3: This kid. This kid.
- 1:25:47Speaker 1: And, like, legitimately, like, Beck's been good for the last
- 1:25:50Speaker 1: two years with Devin Dampier.
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: Yes, correct.
- 1:25:53Speaker 1: And that's kind of, that's his track record. I'm not
- 1:25:57Speaker 1: here to soil my team. All right?
- 1:25:59Speaker 5: No.
- 1:25:59Speaker 1: We don't know if Bryce Underwood's good or not yet.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: You don't know if he's good or not yet.
- 1:26:02Speaker 1: We do not know yet, dude. Just why don't you
- 1:26:05Speaker 1: go unit on the money line? No, I have a
- 1:26:09Speaker 1: parlay that's coming up and you'll see a unit on
- 1:26:10Speaker 1: the money line. Okay, all right. But there's a world
- 1:26:13Speaker 1: you're saying you're going to win the game. Buddy, we
- 1:26:15Speaker 1: lost to Minnesota for the first time since the 70s
- 1:26:19Speaker 1: at Minnesota.
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: I mean, that wasn't good.
- 1:26:23Speaker 1: Dude, when I was at Michigan, the dark years, where
- 1:26:26Speaker 1: Michigan fans don't even want to acknowledge the fact from
- 1:26:29Speaker 1: 09 to 13. They don't want to. Anytime you say
- 1:26:32Speaker 1: Rich Rodriguez's name, people hiss and run in the corner
- 1:26:35Speaker 1: and get in the shadows. We beat Minnesota. And there
- 1:26:39Speaker 1: was never a roster this good on my team. It
- 1:26:41Speaker 1: was just, hey, hopefully Denard does well today. So anyway,
- 1:26:46Speaker 1: didn't want to bring it down.
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: I think Arizona State's going to push Texas Tech.
- 1:26:53Speaker 2: Wow.
- 1:26:53Speaker 3: Yeah, they're getting too many points. 14 and a half.
- 1:26:56Speaker 3: Arizona State, that's too many points. You know Jennifer Weyer
- 1:26:59Speaker 3: watches the show. I know. I'm doing it for him. So,
- 1:27:01Speaker 3: hold on a second. You're kind of anti-Texas Tech. Three, two, one,
- 1:27:05Speaker 3: so we can get a clean cut. No way Texas
- 1:27:08Speaker 3: Tech deserves to be laying this many points against the team.
- 1:27:11Speaker 3: All right, send it off to him. Okay, yeah, I
- 1:27:14Speaker 3: just think Arizona State could be a little sneaky here.
- 1:27:17Speaker 1: Yeah, can't even tell you, man. You said it. You
- 1:27:19Speaker 1: think Arizona State's going to push Texas Tech.
- 1:27:22Speaker 3: Push them and make this a game in the fourth quarter.
- 1:27:26Speaker 1: But Texas Tech wins?
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: Yeah, I'd lean Texas Tech to win. It is two touchdowns.
- 1:27:31Speaker 1: Lean is crazy. Lean.
- 1:27:33Speaker 3: Lean.
- 1:27:34Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:27:35Speaker 3: Are you telling me you'd be surprised if Arizona State
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: was hanging with them? Lesser teams have hung with them
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: this year.
- 1:27:43Speaker 1: I love Joey McGuire, but I also love Kenny Dillingham.
- 1:27:46Speaker 1: I'm excited for a really good game. This is where
- 1:27:48Speaker 1: the tailgate tour will be this weekend.
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: Friendship Bowl.
- 1:27:49Speaker 1: We'll be out there. Friendship Bowl.
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: Friendship Bowl.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: This is where I'm essentially the mom with two different jerseys.
- 1:27:55Speaker 3: Rooting for both of your guys.
- 1:27:56Speaker 1: I'm rooting for both of my guys. I can sell
- 1:27:58Speaker 1: the first one and I praise the next one. That
- 1:28:01Speaker 1: is always the pattern you should go in. Love Kevin Dillian.
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: I mean, he did get double nickel hung on him
- 1:28:07Speaker 3: a couple of weekends ago. Who was that that scored
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: 55 on Arizona State? And it was at home, too.
- 1:28:13Speaker 1: Doesn't matter. Kenny Allen's an offensive-minded head coach. He's an
- 1:28:17Speaker 1: offensive-minded head coach. Dogs of the week. You bought it
- 1:28:20Speaker 1: from Oklahoma State. I like Oklahoma State plus four and
- 1:28:23Speaker 1: a half. That's my dog of the week. Drew Mastermaker, dude.
- 1:28:28Speaker 1: Josh Allen, 2.0. Give me Wisconsin outright. We're a couple
- 1:28:32Speaker 1: weeks away.
- 1:28:33Speaker 3: No doubt.
- 1:28:34Speaker 1: We're a couple weeks away from saying Drew Mastermaker is
- 1:28:37Speaker 1: the next Josh Allen, if you can pull it off.
- 1:28:40Speaker 3: The difference being when Josh Allen was in college, not
- 1:28:43Speaker 3: many people even talked about him because no one was
- 1:28:45Speaker 3: watching Wyoming games. People are watching Oklahoma State. This game
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: or Ole Miss-Missouri will be a five-chat like classic. Maybe both.
- 1:28:53Speaker 3: But at least one of those will be.
- 1:28:54Speaker 1: It has to be.
- 1:28:55Speaker 2: I'll take Wisconsin Outright against UCLA. UCLA without Nico. You
- 1:29:00Speaker 2: get seven turnovers against Oregon. You only win by two points.
- 1:29:04Speaker 2: I think they're a little overrated right now. By the way,
- 1:29:07Speaker 2: I say that. UCLA is, they put together, I mean,
- 1:29:10Speaker 2: they're undefeated in the Big Ten. Bob Chesney is that,
- 1:29:13Speaker 2: he's that dude. They can run the ball well. I just,
- 1:29:15Speaker 2: I like Wisconsin here. I like Wisconsin to win outright
- 1:29:17Speaker 2: at UCLA. Did you see his performance.
- 1:29:21Speaker 1: Tunnel speech.
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: Tunnel speech is very underrated.
- 1:29:24Speaker 1: Underrated. Tunnel speech. Because you can hear the fans. You
- 1:29:27Speaker 1: can kind of hear the Coliseum.
- 1:29:28Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:29:29Speaker 1: And you can say, let me finish the story. And
- 1:29:30Speaker 1: you kind of can't hear it all, but it turns
- 1:29:32Speaker 1: out being the burn the boat story. And then he
- 1:29:34Speaker 1: turns around and immediately takes his glasses and puts them on.
- 1:29:37Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, fuck. I wish somebody would have showed
- 1:29:40Speaker 1: me this before the game started. If I would have
- 1:29:41Speaker 1: known that, I probably still would have gone to Oregon
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: and got my ass beat. I would have been like,
- 1:29:46Speaker 1: holy shit, that's badass, man.
- 1:29:47Speaker 3: Do you think after he did that, he turned around
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: to that camera kid and said, Did you get that?
- 1:29:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: Oh, 100%.
- 1:29:52Speaker 1: Okay, let's go.
- 1:29:53Speaker 3: He was ready to do it again if they didn't
- 1:29:54Speaker 3: get it.
- 1:29:54Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly. Hey, everyone, back up real quick. That echo
- 1:29:57Speaker 1: in the tunnel, too.
- 1:29:58Speaker 2: Or you got to ask around, did somebody happen to
- 1:30:00Speaker 2: record that on the side and their finger's a little
- 1:30:02Speaker 2: over it?
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Like, leak that one. Yeah. Wait, you say that like
- 1:30:05Speaker 3: some of these locker room leaks aren't authentic leaks?
- 1:30:08Speaker 1: Leak that one. Dude, hey, that Kirby's a smart one.
- 1:30:11Speaker 1: Holy shit. Pre and post.
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: Really convenient. Really convenient.
- 1:30:16Speaker 1: Yeah, we got to make sure we, you know. Yeah.
- 1:30:18Speaker 1: And I love, we talked about this on Monday, but
- 1:30:20Speaker 1: I love when something gets leaked like that. And then I,
- 1:30:25Speaker 1: every time I see like a leaked video like that,
- 1:30:26Speaker 1: I immediately will go to the post game press conference.
- 1:30:28Speaker 1: And I want to see just the difference. And it
- 1:30:31Speaker 1: started off being like, first off, Alabama, great ball club there.
- 1:30:35Speaker 1: All right, well-coached team. Neeser starts praising Alabama.
- 1:30:38Speaker 3: I don't even know my record against them.
- 1:30:40Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't even know. I don't even think about it.
- 1:30:41Speaker 3: Have I ever played here?
- 1:30:42Speaker 1: I think about how much I love my family. Yeah,
- 1:30:44Speaker 1: I don't care at all. And then it's like, oh,
- 1:30:45Speaker 1: I hate these motherfuckers. It's a him or me game.
- 1:30:48Speaker 1: No leaks after losses, you notice. Interesting. Only leaks after wins.
- 1:30:52Speaker 3: Anyway, I don't want to call anything into question. I
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: don't know why, but the model says Syracuse plus 14.5
- 1:30:58Speaker 3: is a dog that I need to be on. Again,
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: I want to emphasize. Cannot emphasize this loudly enough. I
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: don't know why. And I'm not diving into this game
- 1:31:05Speaker 3: a whole lot, but I'm taking Syracuse. Your pick, by
- 1:31:07Speaker 3: the way, was the first one I bet this week. Wisconsin, outright.
- 1:31:13Speaker 1: I bumped that because let's get to parlays. I got
- 1:31:17Speaker 1: a spicy one. We hit the parlays last week, Josh Bates.
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: Sure did. Join the party.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: Buddy.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: It's fun.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: I'd love to. San Jose State, like, that's crazy. Yeah.
- 1:31:31Speaker 1: I was swinging, swinging clean. And all of a sudden,
- 1:31:34Speaker 1: San Jose State decided to ruin that for me. We'll
- 1:31:36Speaker 1: accomplish checking this phone, that means I'll go right now.
- 1:31:38Speaker 1: All right, LSU all spread, minus nine and a half. ASU,
- 1:31:42Speaker 1: Texas Tech, all over, 48.
- 1:31:44Speaker 2: And a half.
- 1:31:46Speaker 1: Michigan Moneyline, okay. Oregon State, Washington State, all over, 48
- 1:31:51Speaker 1: and a half. And finally, Wisconsin Moneyline, plus 13.49. Josh,
- 1:32:00Speaker 1: go again. There might be a subtle change I want
- 1:32:02Speaker 1: to make here.
- 1:32:04Speaker 3: I'm going to go Kentucky Moneyline. Wisconsin Moneyline. I mean,
- 1:32:12Speaker 3: I want to say it, but I want it to
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: be heard. Start your parlay over. Kentucky Moneyline. Wisconsin Moneyline.
- 1:32:22Speaker 3: Nebraska Cornhuskers Moneyline. End of parlay.
- 1:32:30Speaker 1: You guys are anti-day landing, guys. No. I took Pate's
- 1:32:34Speaker 1: bet the minute I saw it. Dillon Rill is the
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: quarterback this weekend. If he is, I have no clue.
- 1:32:40Speaker 1: This one is going to be personal for them boys
- 1:32:43Speaker 1: in white and red. It's going to be personal for
- 1:32:45Speaker 1: the quarterback of Oregon, too.
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: Guys, just a quick reminder, the college football, the FanDuel's
- 1:32:50Speaker 2: college football pick-em where you can pick 10 games against
- 1:32:53Speaker 2: the spread for free.
- 1:32:55Speaker 1: And all you have to do is clip one of us, myself,
- 1:32:57Speaker 1: Josh Pate, or Taylor LeJuan. You do that.
- 1:32:59Speaker 2: Say we go five for 10, you go six for 10.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: You're gonna earn yourself a profit boost token. If you
- 1:33:03Speaker 2: go 10 for 10, you're going to share in a
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: half a million dollar jackpot, $ 500, 000 split amongst you and
- 1:33:10Speaker 2: whoever else goes 10 for 10 against the spread.
- 1:33:12Speaker 1: That is free, zero wager.
- 1:33:15Speaker 2: Last week, 181 winners, 181 jackpot winners took home about
- 1:33:17Speaker 2: 2,700 in FanDuel bonus bets. visit fando.com slash Bussin. Again,
- 1:33:24Speaker 2: it is for free. It is for you.
- 1:33:26Speaker 1: Just wanted to remind you guys. We're going to wrap
- 1:33:28Speaker 1: this episode real quick. See that one right there? That's
- 1:33:30Speaker 1: Lucy espresso. That's my favorite. They got that bite and burst,
- 1:33:33Speaker 1: that hit of flavor right away. I use it for
- 1:33:36Speaker 1: a little energy boost when I need it most. Pre-workout, post-workout,
- 1:33:39Speaker 1: doesn't matter. When Lucy's on my mind, I put it
- 1:33:41Speaker 1: in my lip and it's absolutely delicious. Here's the thing
- 1:33:43Speaker 1: I love about Lucy. American made, family owned. They're not
- 1:33:47Speaker 1: such a big tobacco company just playing dress up. And
- 1:33:49Speaker 1: that's what really matters to me. Now, let's get some
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: fine print right here. Lucy.co, code locker room for 20%

- 1:34:00Speaker 1: legal age. Every customer's age verified. Warning, this product contains nicotine.
- 1:34:03Speaker 1: Nicotine is an addictive chemical. Let's get back to the episode. Hey,
- 1:34:07Speaker 1: we're back. Technical difficulties. Willing to figure out his parlay.
- 1:34:10Speaker 1: He has a parlay right here. All right, I made
- 1:34:13Speaker 1: a change. All right. Wisconsin Moneyline? Yep.
- 1:34:21Speaker 2: Oklahoma money line, Michigan money line, North Carolina money line,
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: Notre Dame old spread minus six and a half, Nebraska
- 1:34:32Speaker 2: plus seven and a half, plus 2596.
- 1:34:35Speaker 1: The only reason Yeah, what was it? You know how
- 1:34:44Speaker 1: it gets. Like last week, your boy, you know the
- 1:34:47Speaker 1: spot you're in. You got to go Moneyline.
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: Have to.
- 1:34:50Speaker 1: The more responsible one is taking the points.
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: To me, if I take Nebraska Moneyline, which I'll have
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: that just individually, but if I add that to the parlay,
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: there's just a, I don't know, there's a mechanism in
- 1:35:01Speaker 2: my head that's like, well, I just killed this. I
- 1:35:03Speaker 2: just killed this guy doing the Moneyline.
- 1:35:06Speaker 1: That's called main character syndrome. Yeah, I got it.
- 1:35:09Speaker 3: I got it.
- 1:35:10Speaker 1: I mean, claims are pointed at me. Hey, was that
- 1:35:12Speaker 1: not the coolest? Was that not the coolest? Yeah, yeah,
- 1:35:18Speaker 1: it was awesome. Were you still there for that?
- 1:35:22Speaker 3: That was when I had exited. After that? No, as
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: that was happening.
- 1:35:27Speaker 1: Josh did say at halftime, he said, at some point
- 1:35:28Speaker 1: I'm going to leave. And I told him, like, do
- 1:35:30Speaker 1: not tell us you're leaving. Don't even, don't say goodbye.
- 1:35:32Speaker 1: Just go.
- 1:35:32Speaker 3: I want to know, when we were walking out, Prez said,
- 1:35:36Speaker 3: one of the saddest things ever just happened. We were
- 1:35:38Speaker 3: like getting in the car. We could still hear the crowd.
- 1:35:40Speaker 3: I said, what happened? So we were all walking out
- 1:35:43Speaker 3: of a tunnel together and I let him know, hey,
- 1:35:46Speaker 3: we're about to go our separate ways. Don't let him know,
- 1:35:48Speaker 3: he's too in the zone. But apparently you saw us
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: go down a separate walkway and Prez said, you were saying, no.
- 1:35:54Speaker 1: Josh, Josh, this way. No, Josh, come back in here,
- 1:35:56Speaker 1: come back in here.
- 1:35:57Speaker 3: And then he said, you realized that that was us
- 1:36:00Speaker 3: leaving and you just like put your head down.
- 1:36:05Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 1:36:05Speaker 1: What's crazy is this is the first time we're hearing
- 1:36:06Speaker 1: that story. I felt so bad. Will got hurt so bad,
- 1:36:09Speaker 1: he's like, I'm going to keep this to myself.
- 1:36:11Speaker 2: Because we were obviously getting some food at halftime and
- 1:36:15Speaker 2: watching the game for most of the third quarter.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, no, no, no. We have
- 1:36:20Speaker 1: to be out there for the fourth quarter.
- 1:36:23Speaker 2: And we're going out there, and I see Josh going,
- 1:36:24Speaker 2: and you're like, you think we can get in the
- 1:36:25Speaker 2: gates here?
- 1:36:26Speaker 1: And the guy's like, oh, you just got to go around.
- 1:36:28Speaker 2: I'm like, yeah, yeah, right here, right behind it. And
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: as we're walking, Josh is sitting there. Josh has already
- 1:36:32Speaker 2: got the wall going down. I'm like, oh, I think
- 1:36:34Speaker 2: he just missed that we can get back in right here.
- 1:36:36Speaker 1: And I was like, Josh, we can get in right here.
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: And he's like, oh, no, we're going down this way.
- 1:36:42Speaker 2: And then either Klump or somebody came up to me
- 1:36:44Speaker 2: and goes, oh, Josh is leaving.
- 1:36:45Speaker 1: And I was like, oh, damn. Fourth quarter, like.
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: Third quarter.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Yeah, it was that toward the end of the third quarter. Yeah,
- 1:36:51Speaker 1: it was right before.
- 1:36:52Speaker 3: It was like right at the end of the third.
- 1:36:53Speaker 3: Here's what was funny. When we were in that room
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: for like part of the third quarter, at one point,
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: the cable feed goes out.
- 1:37:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:37:02Speaker 3: And we all look at each other like, how are
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: we going to know how the game ends? Not even
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: realizing we could just walk right back out on the
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: field right now and.
- 1:37:09Speaker 1: Watch the game. We're literally a hundred steps away from
- 1:37:11Speaker 1: being live in the game.
- 1:37:12Speaker 3: The interesting thing.
- 1:37:13Speaker 2: Was they were on like their own one yard line.
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: They just overthrew Marsh, I believe. And then it was like,
