Speaker 3: Disclaimer, we do love our wives and are sure to responsibly handle our household duties in order to enjoy fall Saturday. Speaker 1: Mm-hmm. Honey It's Saturday: What's up, y'all? This is an emergency podcast clip. We have never done this before. It's our first opportunity, but we did record our week three preview a day before the Levit Doubtful Injury news came out. And me being an LSU backer and my pick on that podcast. I really wanted to have an opportunity to come on here, give you guys a little bit of an update, tell you how I feel about it. First of all, I was not shocked. I was shocked initially because I didn't know there was anything going on with Levitt. But I was not shocked after processing what's going on because is this not a typical Lane Kiffin move? I mean it is and who knows. Maybe he's actually got something he's dealing with. I saw it's just throwing shoulders, so that wouldn't be good if it is a real injury. I know they've got talent behind them, but you never want to be in a situation where you're going on the road, prime time game, huge top ten matchup and You got all the other implications of the whole revenge thing and the Lane Kiffin story, and you're gonna be with a backup quarterback. So if that is a situation, that definitely changes things. For me personally, I just think Kiffin's playing games. And maybe Levin is dealing with something, but if he is, I think it's minor. He didn't look great last week. So if he looks like that again, I don't feel good about my LSU pick. But I knew he played that way before I made my pick, and that's not gonna change anything. So for me, I'm gonna go out on a little bit of a limb here. And assume that Lane Kiffin is just, you know, playing some mind games here. I don't think it'll work either, because Golding knows knows what he's doing. and he's if anyone's familiar with Kiffin, it's him. So I think, you know, he's just having a little fun, doing his thing. We knew it was gonna be a very dramatic week with this matchup. So I'm gonna stick with my LSU pick. And I will. I'll die on that hill. If Levitt ends up not playing, obviously that changes something for me as far as the dynamic of that game, but I went into it knowing that he was doubtful now. And I still chose to gamble on the fact that I think Lane Kiffin is just, you know, messing with all of us. So I'm gonna stick with it. I'm gonna go LSU, in Oxford, very close game, excited for it, can't wait. And I know Sam's gonna share his thoughts as well. So thanks you guys. What's going on, everybody? As Mitch kind of stated, this is an emergency podcast. first time doing this, looking forward to kind of getting this more as the season goes on, maybe some Saturday live reactions to some upsets. could be an exciting tool to just help help grow our channel and kind of get some of these clips out here. But just wanted to address the Sam Levitt situation. Obviously, I picked Old Miss, still picking Old Miss no matter what. Sam Levitt news, maybe he is truly dealing with something he didn't look like himself last week against Louisiana Tech. Obviously had couple picks, but I just think this isn't something that's of concern. I think I think there's probably gotta be some repercussion of why he was listed at Doubtful, 'cause I think this is kind of more Lane Kiffin or just trying to create some drama or some kind of advantage. And maybe that's maybe that's a lot for me to say, just 'cause maybe Levitt truly is dealing with something. But I think it says a lot that the spread didn't change at all. nothing about that game, how people are predicting it. LSU fans, Old Miss fans, just reporters, analysts, they're all pretty confident Sam Lovett's gonna play football game. so I think it just kind of creates some little bit more drama. Obviously you don't want to put a backup quarterback here on the road, especially in that environment. I mean there's not going to be a more hostile environment in all of college football, probably this entire year. Everything built up for this game. just don't think that would be a great scenario for a backup Probably it's not a good scenario for a for a starting quarterback either. I mean, this environment's gonna be crazy. so we'll see what comes about. I think Sam Levitt's still gonna play the football game, but we'll be curious to see if how this game does work if Levitt does not play. But I'm still rolling with the Rebels to win this game.
